Absolutely fantastic location 3 min walk to train station and the same to the beach. Lovely friendly staff, very clean rooms with bed linen and towel changes daily. Something for everyone at breakfast, fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, meats, coffee' juice. Gorgeous little balcony on the room, fab air con and great wifi. Fridge with water in for day one, and basic tea and coffee provisions provided once - if there was daily water and the coffee and tea provisions topped up daily i would have scored a five

We arrived at the hotel today, and Alexis welcomed us very warmly at the front desk during check-in. He speaks excellent English. Room 602 was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location was great. I would return. Close to Cannes and to the beach.

We had a lovely stay at the Best Western Astoria. Our flight had been delayed so we had a late checkin. Patrick was working the front seat and he greeted us with a smile and made us feel right at home. A young lady with blonde hair setup and cleaned up breakfast ( which was yummy) and she saved the day when one of our kids left their retainer at the table. Much later that night the kid realized they had left it and because of her and other staff who held it, we didn't have to pay for a replacement!:) As we left Patrick again was working and entertained us with a cool magic trick and made sure we were happy with our stay which we were. Thank you!!!

"Great location, good service, But no A/C"

The hotel is close to the beach and close to the main street with restaurants and clubs. It is nonetheless quiet. The service is good and the staff made us feel at home. But there was no air conditioning for the entire time we were there, seven days!!!! It was 33 degrees and there was only a slight amount of air coming out of the vents. We couldn't sleep and woke up sweating. They kept saying that they would fix it, but never did. It really affected our holiday. There is parking, which is good, but it's tight and the barrier didn't seem to work so someone always had to open it for us. This was only a minor issue. Check out is 11am and if you overstay by just a few minutes, they will threaten to fine you. Overall, great location, good service, overpriced, very uncomfortable without air conditioning, did not meet our expectations.

The bed was very comfortable and clean, the room and the bathroom were adequate in size and the balcony facing the main street was pleasant with 2 chairs and a small coffee table. a short walk to the beach and the restaurants and the train station is 100 meters away .

Nothing too bad to say about this hotel, location is the biggest selling point, minutes from bus and train links, also bars, beach,supermarkets and restaurants on the doorstep. We had a room to the rear, and while we sacrificed any sort of view, it was free from any street noise. The fridge in the room was quiet, and came with water and juice, which we didn't take, as we mistakenly imagined ridiculous charges, information on this would've been helpful. On arrival we were informed that the lift had developed a problem and the contractor was awaiting parts, 7 days later the problem was still unresolved

"Stay somewhere else- bugs, bites and just not worth it"

I stayed here mid-June and at first thought the place was good, but soon was bitten by something all over. I thought it may be mosquitos in my room as the bites were swollen and itchy. One night and day the internet didn't work and they had to call someone to my room to fix it. One day I came home and little ants had swarmed my bathroom and were all over my toiletries. I've never seen anything like it. Someone came and sprayed the bathroom, but it was really awful - see photos. Juan les Pins is a cute town close to the beach, but there are no affordable places to eat like in Nice, Cannes or Antibes. Also, the place turns into a ghost town around 9:30pm. The front desk help was very good and nice. Kudos to them and they really tried their hardest. I do think this hotel is trying, they just aren't doing good enough for the rates that they are charging.
