Our room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. The hotel itself is a bit dated and could be refreshed. The breakfast had a good selection however we think the scrambled eggs were from a powder mix and were not good. We were travelling with bikes and there was only one small stand attached to the cement to lock your bikes to. The one other stand was not attached to anything. Also, no outlets to recharge your e-bike. This was very poor considering they advertise for the bike tour routes of the Loire. The location was good and the staff were nice.

The hotel's name gives away its biggest asset: it is right in the centre of Tours with most sights and lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. I chose the hotel because of its convenient parking lot - but be sure to book a spot if you want to use that. The building is a refurbished old complex, so some of the rooms have an irregular shape. We had a very large family room. The elevator and room decoration are very French, but luckily we had real pillows rather than a bolster :-). The breakfast is more than a croissant with butter and jam, but you pay for it.

The hotel is perfect for walking the sites and shopping of Tours. The room adequate but for a delux King the shower over the bath was a slip hazard and not brilliant. Room was Ok. I am sure you could ask for the fridge (not a mini bar) to be filled plus real milk instead of powdered sachets. Room as said ...ok quiet enough. Breakfast avoid! Noisy with staff banging plates etc. very narrow seating so you are forever pulling your chair in or manoeuvring yourself around others. The eggs were powdered and sat in a large yellow lump! Small sausages so hard you could not cut them. No bacon ... positive fresh orange juice. I would go into town much more choice and better value

A great experience at this hotel. Staff are so kind and friendly. We found the location perfect as we wanted to be near the trian station. Also, nat bad walk into the old town from here. Great job!!!!

Lovely stay here. Clean, comfortable. Helpful staff. Filtered water in the lobby a nice extra, especially in the hot weather. Breakfast lady could probably do with an assistant at busy times. ( They ran out of De Caffinated coffee) Would stay here again.

The front desk staff was exceptional. We were able to communicate because their English was superb. Parking in the garage was very convenient and we felt very safe. I can see why several tour groups use this hotel.

We booked a room here last minute while driving through France. Room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and there were excellent breakfast options. We did have an issue with the price however, we were looking for a hotel with parking and were attracted by the hotels online advertised price of €98. However €145 was deducted from my card when I confirmed the booking and there was an additional charge of €17 at check-in. This was explained by the way of taxes, service fees and parking. I feel the advertised price was misleading.

"Three nights in wonderful Tours"

Spent 3 nights at the Best Western Hotel Central in Tours while on a motorcycle trip through France with my wife. The staff member on reception was very friendly and helpful and showed us to the parking space reserved for our motorcycles and got us checked into our room. The room was bright and spacious with a good sized en-suite and was spotlessly clean. Reception provided us with a list of recommendations for evening meals and opened the bar for us for some much needed cold drinks as it was 32 degrees on the ride into the city. The hotel is in a great location, close to the shopping centre on one side and the various bars and restaurants on the other. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, however we both thought this was excellent with plenty of choice and was good value for money. Overall we thought this hotel was excellent and would certainly recommend to others and if in Tours again we would definitely go back to this hotel.

"Very conveniet for most things"

This hotel is well located to the Tours train station, being a few minutes walk and not that far from the old quarter, although it would be at least 20 minutes walk. The rooms are spacious enough with AC, although we found the AC wanting! There is a small gym which I made use of, good if you need a bit of extra exercise like myself. Bikes are easily parked in the garage below with a lift from there. There is a small supermarket just around the corner which has most things. Breakfast was adequate but can be congested when it is busy. Staff were very pleasant and helpful to deal with. The first night we stayed here the shower flooded badly. It just wasn't draining away. It even soaked the carpet. We did the best we could but it was a plumbing problem. We did like the water filter in the lobby as it had carbonated water as well as still. All in all, the hotel is ok for a night ot two.

Anyway, we stayed here on points for free. We arrived late due to flights, but the attendant was very polite, although all the information he relayed was thoroughly disappointing. He told us that parking was full, it was 18 euros anyway, how to park on the street, and that breakfast was 18/pp. But the room was fine, the AC worked, etc. We avoided the breakfast b/c it seemed overpriced, and there are several other options nearby. There was also a nearby laundromat. This part of town is near the train station, so not the nicest, but it was safe and clean.
