Great room with easy walkability to shops and restaurants. It was close to Place Messina. Breakfast was included and the staff was very helpful. I would go back again. We walked down to the water and sat at a cafe. Great location.

The hotel was cozy and nice with very welcoming staff , the room and bathroom were good size and everything was clean; 10 min walk to the beach and very close to the old town where it's alive at night, and also close to the tram station which leads to the airport. Very convenient and would go again!

Well located, very friendly bilingual staff, good breakfast and bar area. Superior room was spacious, with good aircon, safe, coffee, water and a very comfortable bed! Only minor downside was the soundproofing to the street in our street-facing room. Most of the time not a problem but the mopeds and motorbikes that seem to be so prevalent in Nice managed to permeate…

Great location within walking distance of the seafront and main railway station. Right next to a tram station (journey to the airport approx 25 mins). Ideal if you are staying for a weekend. Breakfast is great. The staff are lovely. Rooms are very functional. Beds slightly small and a but noisy from the street. Overall would recommend for a good value, well located hotel for a weekend

We found our stay to be average, but not a 4 star experience. We booked the comfort room and it was tiny. Barely any space for our stuff and floor space was taken up by two unnecessary chairs. Main issue though was that when we came back to the room each day there was a horrible, sewage like smell in the room. On the plus side the reception staff were friendly and it was close to the tram for the airport. It is a bit of a walk to the main centre of Nice. Overall, we wouldn't return or recommend.

Great service by all staff, no matter what time. Accommodating for those with disabilities. Rooms and hotel were clean. Breakfast had a variety of options and it was tasty. Beds were comfortable. Shower pressure was adequate. They don't provide washcloths, if you use them. Hotel location is good for your 1st time visit to Nice. It was around the corner from the tram station, that services the airport. Good choice and thanks to the staff for making my friends and I feel at home.

Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. Only negative is it's a little far out from the old town, harbour, beach ect. Hotel was clean and tidy. Staff were attentive. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Only stayed one night as joining a cruise but would definitely return if visiting Nice . All the staff were welcoming and our room and breakfast lovely . Hotel in great position. for accessing shops and the famous Promenade and beach . Thank you to everyone .

Wonderful hotel in a great spot. 10 mins from beach and 10 mins from train station. Close to main shopping area and around the corner from the airport tram. The hotel is clean and modern with helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent with a vast choice. Very happy with the cheapest room available, perfectly adequate with great air conditioning.

Stayed here for short city break Aug 2026. Hotel is well placed with only a few minutes walk to everything. Hotel was immaculate and room was very comfortable. We didn't pay to use the restaurant facilities for breakfast or dinner as there are plenty of places to pick from in the area. A wonderful stay and thanks to the hotel team.

This is a beautiful hotel to stay in when visiting Nice as Vieux Nice & the sea front etc are in easy walking distance as are some very good restaurants, cafes & bars. Checking in was easy and we were very happy with our Superior Twin Room. The room was beautifully furnished & very comfortable with the air conditioning being essential in view of the high external temperatures. We'd booked including breakfast and I have to say that the food selection & quality is one of the best we've experienced in our many visits to hotels in France. We also used the bar on several occasions and found the service to be excellent. The private transfer back to the airport due to a transport strike was also excellent value. This is a hotel I would be happy to return to in the future & also recommend to family & friends.

I found the hotel most beautiful and the staff was outstanding most helpful in every way possible. My recommendation is that my bed was particularly hard to sleep on for several nights, being older that means something. I think the website should state that there is no elevators and rooms are located on several floors with stairs to climb however the staff was more than accommodating and bringing our luggage up as well as Down. I had a beautiful stay I have no complaints ! I will be back:)

The hotel is well situated, about 10 minutes by foot from the old town and about 15 minutes from the beach. The staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are on the smaller side, even the bigger categories, but well equipped. Good bathrooms. Rooms are quiet. The only downside is there is a slight musky smell in the rooms. The hotel also nickels and dimes a bit - for example, there is a charge to use a beach towel, and exchanging it for a clean towel incurs another charge. Overall, a decent hotel for the price.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nice. We recently stayed here for 7 nights. We used the hotel as a base to visit the surrounding areas, Eze, Antibes, Monte Carlo, Cannes, Villefranche-sur-Mer, etc. Very walkable area. Train station is a 15 min. walk. We traveled by train and uber to all the surrounding towns. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating to all our questions and requests. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. We will stay here again when visiting Nice.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Hotel Apollinaire Nice in July 2026. The location is excellent - central enough that we could walk almost everywhere, including the Old Town, shops, restaurants and the beach. Our room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully maintained, but what really stood out was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was wonderful too, with a great selection and plenty of delicious choices to start the day. A fantastic, stylish hotel and an ideal base for exploring Nice and the French Riveria. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

Room and facilities were great. I guess if I was missing anything it would be a pool to relax in after shopping and/or touring. The service is second to none anywhere in the world. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Great location and very pleasant staff. They were particularly attentive given that our visit coincided with a heat wave. Always greeting us Hello and goodbye and ready to help with suggestions or our questions.

Location 10/10 Comfort level 10/10 Staff always happy to go above and beyond to help 11/10 - making phone calls on my behalf because I didn't speak very good French. Breakfast was amazing and cocktails were even better 😉 Would definitely stay there again because of the friendly staff who never made me feel uncomfortable for knowing the language.

Excellent hotel, perfectly located to discover nice with our family. Very attentive and welcoming team throughout the hotel and our suite was perfect for the four of us. With plenty of space. Our trip was only for one night as we were heading home, however, we will return for a longer period the next time as we were very impressed.

Good Hotel in walking reach of Old Town/Port/Station - all around 15 minutes. Rooms very clean. Excellent breakfast choice. Close to a good range of restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to front desk who managed to get hold of taxi driver to return after I had left my mobile in the taxi.

We recently stayed here for seven nights and had an excellent stay from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was clear. As soon as we stepped through the door, a member of staff greeted us, took our luggage and brought it to our room for us. It was a lovely first impression and set the tone for the rest of our stay. Everywhere in the hotel was beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean and had a modern, stylish feel. Every member of staff we encountered, from housekeeping and reception to the bar staff, was friendly, professional and approachable. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. Whenever we requested extra towels, they were readily available for us to collect from reception. We also realised we had forgotten to pack a travel adapter. When we asked reception where we could buy one, they kindly told us there was no need and loaned us one for the duration of our stay. Small gestures like these really highlighted the excellent customer service provided by the team. We stayed in a Classic Double Room, which we found to be on the smaller side. This is not a criticism, just an observation for anyone who prefers a more spacious room. Despite the size, the room was spotless and very comfortable. The mattress and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. The room was also exceptionally quiet, which was ideal after busy days exploring Nice. The air conditioning was excellent and was particularly appreciated given the extremely warm weather during our stay. The bathroom was modern, clean and well maintained. We found the size to be on the smaller side, but again, this was not a criticism, just something worth noting for guests who prefer more space. The water pressure was excellent, and everything was kept to a very high standard. We did not have breakfast during our stay, so unfortunately we cannot comment on the breakfast offering. The air conditioning throughout the hotel was another welcome feature, especially in the lobby. After spending the day exploring Nice and the surrounding cities, towns and villages, it was a pleasure to return to a cool and comfortable hotel. The location of the hotel is another major advantage. It is perfectly placed within the city, with many of Nice's main attractions easily accessible on foot. Place Masséna is approximately a five-minute walk away, with the Old Town only another three to five minutes beyond that. Getting to and from the hotel was also incredibly convenient. Tram Line 2 from the airport brings you to the Durandy tram stop, which is only around a two-minute walk from the hotel. Bus route 57 stops directly outside the hotel and takes approximately five to ten minutes to reach Nice-Ville train station. With such easy access to public transport, it was straightforward to explore further afield and enjoy day trips to the many beautiful cities, towns and villages along the Côte d'Azur. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nice. The combination of the excellent service, cleanliness, comfort and ideal location made it a fantastic base for our trip. We also felt the hotel offered excellent value for money given the high standard of accommodation and customer service. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Great value and location. Accommodating staff and nice appointed rooms. We were in a family room that we were very comfortable in. The location was just close enough to all the action but just far enough to really feel peaceful.

The Apollinaire is a lovely boutique hotel tucked into a beautiful neighborhood. It is an easy walk to the Promenade, restaurants, unique retail shops and Old Town Nice. The hotel itself is stylish, very clean and well-managed. It was too hot to make use of the inviting outdoor seating area, nor did we try the buffet breakfast. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Nice.

Superb location. Close to major tourist sites but located on a quiet street. The team were extremely customer focus and always willing to assist whenever requested. Rooms were spacious and very clean.

The hotel was over all my expectations. The location was great. Walking distance from the beach, old town and shops. The room and public spaces were clean and comfortable. The absolute greatest part was the staff - everyone at the hotel was helpful, always smiling, walked the extra mile. We got help with finding and booking restaurants (excellent choices as well), got extra towels when we needed them and basically anything we asked for, with a smile. The breakfast was good as well, definitely worth paying for. I will book this hotel every time I visit Nice.

We loved our stay at this hotel! As other reviewers have noted, the hotel is in an excellent location as it is quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the main centre, but all the key areas such as the Promenade des Anglais, station and squares are within easy walking distance. The tram stop is just round the corner so that was handy for us travelling from the airport. We found all the staff at this hotel to be very friendly, everyone from the front desk team to the porters, breakfast staff and cleaning teams were all smiley and polite. We had help with our cases on arrival and departure and you really felt nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is lovely and air conditioned throughout, and feels nice and modern: inside it is decorated well and spotlessly clean. The bedrooms have lovely comfortable beds, fluffy pillows, plenty of wardrobe space and a very good shower. The breakfast is exceptional. Everything you could want, fresh fruit, melt in the mouth pastries and lovely cooked options. Though we chose to enjoy evening drinks out and about in Nice centre during our stay, there is a nice bar area at this hotel, which is useful for those who want to have a night cap closer to home. Overall, we had an excellent stay here and would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Easy to access from the airport, Durandy tram stop was a two minute walk away Clean, classy, sophisticated - first impressions were excellent. Checking in was perfect, concierge provided us with a map and clearly marked where we were in relation to other interested landmarks. Room was super clean and fresh and the air con was amazing (much needed as temperatures were between 35-40 degrees for our whole stay). The coffee, roomy fridge, excellent toiletries and the most amazing shower made the stay even more special We were room only but the breakfast room was busy every morning when we left the hotel, looked perfectly fine. Check out smooth, left luggage facility available made our last day super easy.

My wife and I were really pleased with the staff and the hotel very very good. I will definitely be back in the same place very good location . I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. Second visit to this beautiful hotel, it was just as we remembered utterly beautiful, staff soooo helpful and the ambience of the hotel is beautiful. The room was so spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was incredible, we absolutely love this hotel and the location is perfect for heading into town, heading to the train station to go visit places i.e. Monaco, Menton, Cannes we jam packed in as much as we could for our short trip. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Nice we can't wait to return thank you to all the staff 🎉🎉

The Hotel was clean and the staff were extremely polite and attentive. The double room was clean and had small fridge , TV, coffee machine and safe to keep the important belongings. The bathroom was perfect, it had hand wash, hand cream and plenty of shampoo and conditioner and smells amazing. The shower pressure was also good. The breakfast area was nice and spacious and had a great variety of fresh bread and fresh food. The location was perfect 👌🏽 Right in the Center of Nice. Overall we had an amazing stay at the Hotel Apollinaire.

Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful!! They helped arrange transportation from our cruise, dining reservations, private driver for tour, driver to airport, etc. Lovely hotel! We appreciated the hospitality very much! Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful hotel within walking distance of the beach and port. The train station is a 15 minute walk - ideal for travelling to Monte Carlo. The room we had was small but as we were only staying 1 night it wasn't an issue. We were joining a cruise ship the following day. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast had something for everyone. The courtyard is a lovely spot for coffee. I would definitely return.

Smart hotel with friendly, efficient staff. Well located - 5- 10 minute walk to the centre. Did not like having the toilet separate to the bathroom as no wash hand basin in the toilet - not hygienic. Bath tub needs replacing with a walk in shower.

Fabulous hotel, beautifully presented. Excellent, welcoming friendly staff. Very relaxing. We stayed 4 nights in a Superior room overlooking towards the old town which was only a few minutes walk away. Hotel location is great for the mainline railway station and the Tram station is only a 2-3 minutes walk away. We were on a room only basis and through our own choice ate out every morning at the uncountable amount of bar/bistro/restaurants close by or into old town district and sea front. Saying all that the hotel breakfast choice did look very good indeed. The hotel bar has an excellent choice of drinks and the cocktails are excellent. The outside courtyard has plenty of shaded seating and relaxed atmosphere. We highly recommend staying here, and most definitely will stay at this hotel again.

I stayed at Hotel Apollinaire last week with a friend for 3 nights and it was excellent! Check in was seamless, the room was lovely and spacious and well appointed, with Nuxe toiletries, comfy beds, coffee machine, fridge, safe, hairdryer, drinking water and iron. The A/C worked very well. There is a water refill station just near reception which was super handy. The bar/lounge area is welcoming and a nice space to relax after a day's sightseeing. Above all, we chose this hotel as the location was great. Durandy tram station is literally 2 mins walk ( we took the tram there from the airport upon arrival), and all sites/old Town, Promenade are within walking distance. Nice -Ville station is also 15 mins walk. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and would happy go back. Thank you Hotel Apollinaire for a wonderful stay!

We stayed at Hôtel Apollinaire Nice for the second time, and it was every bit as wonderful as we remembered. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with comfortable, well-appointed rooms and a welcoming atmosphere throughout. Its location is excellent, within easy walking distance of restaurants, supermarkets, the beach, and many of Nice's attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the city and SOF. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. They are attentive, friendly, and genuinely care about their guests. We were touched that members of the team remembered our family from our previous stay, which made us feel incredibly welcome. Overall, a fantastic hotel offering comfort, convenience, and exceptional service.

Great hotel in a great location. From arrival to check out, the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel is very chic, breakfast was great and the coffee was surprisingly superb! They have a cute outdoor patio, a gym and lounge/bar area. The gym is small but plenty of space and some equipment to do 30 mins! The location is ideal if you want to explore Nice with everything within a 20-30 mins walking distance. Visit the old town and you'll be there in 15 mins. Visit the high street stores and it'll take no longer than 10 mins. The beach is 15-20 mins and there are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes nearby. The local streets are lined with flowers, trees and cute balconies. Perfect for your IG photo shoot! The room was a nice size for us, plenty of space and good size bathroom. There was a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, safe box, coffee machine & a balcony overlooking the street. I'd definitely recommend this place, especially if you're looking for somewhere with breakfast!

Our second stay and the staff could not have been friendlier or more efficient. Great location. Room excellent and breakfast delicious. We enjoyed the advice provided by the staff about what to see and how to get places. You even gave us a week of fantastic weather. Who could possibly ask for more!!

It is a rare event to write a review when I can say Faultless. This hotel is faultless, the rooms are fabulous, the very friendly service amazing, the hotel facilities perfect and a short stroll to the centre of Nice and walkable from the rail station. If I travel to Nice again this will be the only hotel I would stay at.

The hotel is extremely clean in all areas. The place is quiet, beds are comfortable and the breakfast is very nice. The people working in the hotel are highly professional and make you feel very welcome. We would like to kindly thank Mickaël for meeting all of our room requests. We would surely come back to this hotel anytime.

The Hotel Apollinaire Nice is a great place to stay. We were there for 8 nights and the staff soon learned our names ("The Susans"). The concierges are helpful and ready with answers to any questions we had. The restaurant was convenient with an interesting option for dishes. We only had breakfast there once as it is a buffet and more than we needed. There are many bakeries & restaurants nearby that we wanted to explore. Be sure to check out La Nicoise, as the food is great! If I remember her name correctly, Samantha from Canada in reception was exceptional in her assistance with us, as we spoke only English and limited German. The staff make this a special place! And, it's a Best Western so I was able to get my rewards points there!

The Hotel was clean and the interior decorating was current. My room was extremely comfortable with great accommodations s. The Hotel staff couldn't be more kind and attentive. I had the daily morning buffet which was delicious with a variety of foods to choose from.

Spent five nights at this lovely boutique hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The location is excellent being about half way between the old town/sea and the railway station. The rooms were well equipped and super clean with great attention to cleaning detail. The hotel was quiet with no street noise or corridor noise. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful, hotel its self very clean and bright. As we spend very little time in our room we had the basic Comfort room. It's a bit cramped but OK for us, the mini bar is empty, and should have been removed and clothing shelves installed. As the only wardrobe has only one shelf the others can't be reached unless 7ft tall plus,and no other space for storing clothes. Your water bottle is full on arrival, but after that you have to fetch water from the outside lobby daily. Breakfast is good and quality is there but €44 for 2 its all its money. The hotel is very well situated and you can reach the beach, the old town, flower market and the shopping boulevard within 10/15min walk . Nice hotel but probably not enough for us to return.

Room clean,shower good walkin, temp & power good quality gels etc. room not warm,a/c not good to heat.breakfast good quality generally but coffee by machine,fruit juice by machine. 1 Elevator not working,poor signage for stair release exit button is a concer! I raised with desk staff! Wireless unstable 3rd floor.

Reception and concierge staff friendly and helpful. Bedroom staff made up the room effectively. Pleasant, comfortable and spacious room with good storage. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Well located for tourist spots. Outdoor area in a quadrangle to the rear which was nice to sit in. Cannot comment on the breakfast buffet as we used a cafe around the corner. However the buffet was popular with others.

This was paradise in Nice. This was one of the nicest hotel experiences we had in France. The rooms are beautiful, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfast is extremely ample and diverse. The location is very nice because you are still close enough to the old town, but also close to many great restaurants available in this part of Nice. I felt like I was surrounded by luxury. The staff provides excellent customer service and is there for your every need.

The entire staff was wonderful! Their breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had in a hotel anywhere!! The selection and quality was excellent. They provide a refillable water bottle with a filtered water station. Such a nice option if you drink a lot of water. I would recommend to anyone staying in Nice. Great waterfall shower head and lots of hot water.

Ideal location, rooms were expellent, beds comfortable. Tram line is nearby. Staff are friendly and efficient. We had the excellent EXPRESS breakfast on two mornings - served in a quiet area in the lobby, ideal as we were 6 adults so we got to sit together. It came on individual trays. Would stay here again when next in Nice.

As always, very clean, very reliable. The location is very good. We needed to be close to the train station. But it is also directly in the centre. The rooms are clean. The people at the reception desk are very nice and professional.

We stayed for 9 nights - the room was good with lots of storage space, safe, fridge; the bed and pillow were excellent, VERY comfortable. Large bathroom with nice toiletries and tissues. Quite noisy if you left the window open at night, as close to road. Staff were always very pleasant and helpful. Close to shopping area and tram stop (5 mins walk) into town / railway station and also close to tram stop for port area and Airport (direct line). Easy walk into centre (10-12 mins). Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel delivered well beyond our expectations. We stayed 20/3 for 3 night, Absolutely immaculate , class hotel. Superb breakfast and the staff are the most professional and helpful we've met on our various travels . We had a medical emergency on arrival at the airport and the assistance and concern shown to us on arrival at the hotel was superb. In addition. Our return transfer booked via Holiday Extras in the UK didn't arrive so they quickly sorted us another taxi to get us to the airport . Highly highly recommended.

Relaxing stay near the centre of Nice. Immaculate hotel and rooms, delicious breakfast, and attentive very professional staff. Wonderful on site private wellness room with massage chair and steam room complimentary for guests. Safe pretty location. So pleased we booked for a night following a busy work week in Cannes. The perfect evening and day to relax before we headed home.

We booked as a surprise for my mum's birthday and the whole stay was absolutely amazing. She had the best time! The rooms were lovely and clean, a brilliant breakfast spread (even for vegetarians), a lovely little bar, but by far the best thing about this hotel is the staff! Everyone we met was friendly and personable, it genuinely felt like they were happy to meet us. No request felt too big or small. We paid to have some champagne and chocolate cake in one of the rooms, and they timed it perfectly for our arrival so the champagne was cold. The chocolate cake was the best we've ever had! The location also worked great for us, my dad has a walking stick and we still found travel manageable, walking mostly everywhere. For the moments it was too much, they have a tram stop very close by and it's really easy to get a taxi.

A most comfortable and centrally located hotel, only 5 mins from the airport tram stop. The Apollinaire has the highest standards of housekeeping and the reception is attentive to its customers' needs. We stayed in a superior room and found the size of the room most impressive and the bathroom was spacious too. A most enjoyable stay, we'll be back soon!

This is a wonderful hotel. It is as beautiful in the inside as the outside. The location feels like it is in a residential area, yet within a block or two you have all the shopping and restaurants that you need. Old town and La Promenade des Anglais are within walking distance. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but it looked very good. Staff were very kind. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Lovely traditional hotel with all modern conveniences. A comfortable, quiet room and pleasant helpful staff. Just off the main streets, the location was excellent. A short walk to the train station, easy even with suit cases.

Lovely hotel! The location is perfect, a very short walk to the old town and other attractions. Restaurants and shopping are a very short walk. Breakfast in the dining room is very good. In the evenings, the bar serves good drinks and, reasonably good food. While our visit to niece was too short, we would love to return and, if we do, we will stay here again.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, close to Durandy tram stop, and easy walking distance to beach, old town and main shopping street. hotel is very fresh and clean with modern rooms. room is quite small, but well appointed and all you need for a city break. The hotel had a lovely vibe about it and teh staff were fabulous. We will definitly be back.

Our second visit to the refurbished & renamed Apollinaire. The issue we had with the Shower configuration in the Bathroom previously was not a problem this time. Really good location with the new Tram Line 2 from the Airport. The only issue left that I would flag is the over-priced Breakfast offering given the choice that is available within walking distance of the Hotel. Solution? Increase the Room Rates very slightly & incorporate Breakfast into that price.

A well situated hotel with good links to public transport and very suitable for exploring the city on foot. Very clean, showers excellent, staff friendly, beds comfy. Allowed us to use Uber delivered food as we arrived late on night one. Room was compact but had everything we needed. We skipped breakfast (22e pp) and walked a few steps to Boulangerie la nicoise just around the corner.

Lovely hotel in great location - within 10 minutes walk from Place Massene and Vieux Nice. Newly reburbished so the bathroom was lovely. Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was comprehensive - everything you could think of

Well located a few blocks back from the beach and close to the old town in a quiet-ish area - we had no problem with traffic noise. A quality establishment with good sized rooms and great staff. Nicely appointed. We would stay here again.

A visit to Nice and stayed in this beautiful hotel it was perfect in every way, location, all amenities, room was gorgeous, breakfast delicious, staff amazing we had the best time here and it was a great base for visiting all the beautiful places on the cote d'azure. Utterly expensive, probably because of the Ironman competition that weekend. € 400 for a simple twin room, with quite an outdated style. Tho it was clean, which is much appreciated. No shutters. If you open the window at night, which I like (to have some fresh air), you will hear people yelling and maybe witness accidents. So please close your window for sound insulation. Breakfast was rather average, no fresh juice. Overall, okay, but not worth €400, honestly.

Good hotel our second visit. All the staff friendly. Nice clean modern rooms. But best of all its location. Just around corner from Durandy tram station and easy walking distance to main train station.

The hotel was superbly located within easy walking distance of the commercial centre, the old town, local restaurants, bars and cafes and easily accessible for the seafront. All the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. As a seasoned traveller, l was very impressed with every aspect of the hotel staff from front of house to cleaners and chambermaids. Nothing was too much trouble and all enquiries were dealt with in a polite and friendly manner. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Nice.

This was a pleasant stay near the heart of Nice in the wonderful French Rivera. The room on the third floor offered a "nice" view of the neighborhood, the shower was good and the space was not cramped. An espresso machine came in handy. The room was kept clean and neat. Service was friendly and staff was efficient but this is a place where you are left to your own devices. The hotel is your gateway to the heart of this special city as well as the beach and legendary Promenade des Anglais, all a short enjoyable walk away. There is a morning breakfast offered (which we did not try) and there is a small bar well managed by the attendant. Insider tip: On a side street across from the hotel, a small store operates where you can buy water, fruit and necessities at reasonable prices. All in all, special memories follow us from our stay at the Hôtel Apollinaire Nice.

We were delighted with this hotel. Location is good, it's just a 10 min walk into the Old Town and a straight road down Rue Alberti. The staff on front desk were all very friendly and helpful with things like restaurants . We didn't use the hotel breakfasts as we'd usually had a good meal the night before but you can choose to have the breakfast whenever you want for 22 Euros per person. Our comfort room was not large but perfectly reasonable for a 3 night break, the bathroom had a large shower and it had all been refurbished beautifully. The bar area was lovely but my only gripe was that it shut at 11pm, just as I was wanting a nightcap.

Beautiful hotel. Amazing location just one block from the main strip. Breakfast was great. Staff excellent and very helpful with suggestions on where to go. I wish they had parking on site but it is just up the road and not too expensive. Also parking on the street is decent just have to move your car early. No complaints otherwise.

We stayed in one of the suites, really clean and well looked after hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, the hotel is in easy reach of all local amenities and great transport links. I would definitely recommend this accomodation.

We had a wonderful four night stay! Modern, clean, great location and super friendly staff. About a 10 minute walk to the promenade and about one minute to the tram! Nice and quiet location and excellent air con which was needed after very hot weather whilst we were there! Will recommend to friends and hopefully return one day too.

While others in our group stayed at a hotel on the promenade that was 4 stars, they complained of rooms that were small, musty, and dated. We were so happy we chose this truly 4 star hotel instead! I am mobility limited which involves a lot of research and emailing back and forth and they were just wonderful answering all my questions so I could make an informed choice about the hotel. Firstly, it is very elegant and up to date. Beautiful lobby, furnishings, a bar and comfortable seating areas including the room where breakfast is served. There is a lift to get to the lobby from outside and then elevators in the building bringing us up to our accessible second floor deluxe room which had a roll in shower. There is a coffee maker and frig in the room as well as a safe. The room was tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable especially with the automatic black out shade which Ledion from the hotel was great in going over when he brought our bags up after storing them when we first arrived before our room was ready since it was early morning. They provide you with a large bottle of mineral water which is reusable in helping with their eco efforts. There is a refill station outside of the lobby with a ramp and also restrooms and a spa as well as outdoor seat for drinks or breakfast. The staff could not have been more efficient, friendly, professional or knowledgeable. They were always available to answer questions, offer tips, restaurant recommendations and really indulged me in trying to use my rusty French! Breakfast was fantastic and was included in our booking. Scrambled eggs, sausage, beans, croissants, breads, pastries, fruit, oatmeal, bacon…..you name it. Thank you to Ledion and the entire staff whose names I wish I remembered for a truly exceptional 3 day stay!

We had a suite for 1 night as we were 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The suite was very spacious, bigger than most of the suites we have had. The master bedroom was very spacious, and the living room/children's room was good size. The sofa bed was comfortable (which is not always the case at other hotels). And the suite had 2 showers and toilettes which made life much more comfortable, especially when we were 4 people sharing the room. Breakfast was decent. It had everything one would expect for a hotel breakfast, scumbled egg, bacon, cold cuts, and even some french delicacies for french breakfast/desert. Service was good. We will definitely stay at the hotel again when we visit Nice.

The hotel is modern and conveniently located, with clean and comfortable rooms. The bathroom tub is quite high, which may be inconvenient or unsafe for some guests, and the sink area offers limited counter space. The staff is friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. Breakfast was decent, though the quality of juices and the presentation of the fruit could be improved. It was also disappointing that eggs came with an extra charge. Overall, it was a great stay.

Our room was clean and spacious for the price. We were under the impression that breakfast was included but that may have been an error on our part. The location was great and the staff were very helpful with our bags.

Our experience in the Apollinaire was very good. The hotel is on a very nice street in the city. Check in was simple. Our room was very good. It was bright and airy overlooking the street. We were very happy with it. The hotel lobby is bright. The people working there are very efficient and very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent again served in a bright room with an outside area. There was a good choice. Some people might think the hotel is a bit far from the seafront but that did not affect us. We were close to a good choice of restaurants and activities. All in all we had a good stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Nice.

The hotel was stunning. Everything about the stay felt 5 star. The staff on the reception were great and the room was amazing. The bathroom was lovely however the bathrooms could do with having the shower head that can hook onto the wall instead of having to hold the shower head (* idk if this is a European thing but I've never seen this anywhere else*). The location is perfect it's a 2 minute walk from a tram stop and a 5/10 minute walk from the beach and all the bars and restaurants. One thing i did notice is the fire alarm was triggered at 6:15am which was an inconvenience after a great night sleep. This wasn't too much of an issue however as somebody who sleeps with ear plugs i did struggle to hear the alarm from the corridor only as nothing sounded in the room which did make me think the rooms could benefit from having something VISUAL such as a flashing light when the alarm is triggered for people with hearing problems who could struggle to hear the alarm outside But i would DEFINITELY stay here again

We stayed here 5 nights early Oct. The Ellington was our first choice for about 15 years and had not been to Nice since covid when the building was being updated. They have done a beautiful job and kept a lot of the staff who were always friendly cheerful and helpful. They really do seem to enjoy making an effort. Hoping to go back in May.

An excellent hotel, in the best location! Very quiet and elegant area. Everything is perfectly functional and impeccably clean! Nice Ville (train station) is a 15-minute walk away and the old city at 7 minutes. The main avenue with the great shopping area is at few minutes (also the Nicetoile - a mall and Galeries Lafayette). Our twin room was large and equipped with everything you need, excellent air conditioning, large enough bathroom with a bathtub, the bed was very comfortable with very good quality linen. The cleanliness is impeccable, the towels are changed daily, also the set of cosmetics (soap, shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel and body lotion) is provided in a proper quantity avoiding their waste but without depriving yourself of the necessary. Anyway, if you ask, you will receive. A bottle of water is offered every day to each guest, even the tap water is drinkable and very good. Breakfast is varied enough and very good, the coffee machine was great, with a lot of options! Thank Jerry (I hope I wrote correctly your name), for your promptness and smile! All the people at the reception are very nice, always smiling and extremely kind and attentive, friendly and helpful. At request, they sent me an iron and ironing board. Everyone is very prompt and helpful, with professionalism and kindness. Specially thanks to Lorenzo and Edmir! We warmly recommend this hotel !

Excellent hotel very clean modern and friendly staff. We only had 4 nights there but all rooms very modern. Also very near to tram stop and 10 min walk from old town and beach. Lots of great restaurants in old town and really buzzing at night. We went with Jet 2 and had a really great value holiday

I have recently just stayed at the hotel for 3 nights for a summer holiday. The hotel is in a perfect location, it is just around the corner from the nearest tram stop and a short walk to Old Town Nice as well as the beach. The staff are very friendly and attentive, the rooms are very clean and modern. The breakfast has a good spread and was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for three nights to attend a wedding in Nice. From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the service received. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the decor is beautiful. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. It is a short 10-15 walk to the beach and is close to many lovely restaurants. When returning to Nice we would not stay anywhere else.

5 days stay. Very good location, minutes from the old town, and nice staff. The hotel is very clean and maintained. Point of excellence is the most silent air conditioning system ever experienced. Parking, like everywhere else here, may be expensive, even though they have an agreement with a nearby parking, at walking distance (112 euros for 5 days)
