Hotel Le Mondial, BW Premier Collection

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had everything I required. Location is excellent! 10 minute walk from le Croisette and right in the heart of the town centre for shopping and eating and a 5-10 minute walk from the train station if you want to visit, Nice, Antibes or Monte Carlo.

The hotel is located in a very nice central position in Cannes, you have everything in a few minutes' walk. The rooms aren't big but are extremely nice and well cared for, and mostly perfectly clean. The staff was extremely welcoming, always ready to support and provide information. Also with some bars just below our window, the room was perfectly silent, and sleep was very nice. Costwise, it's a very interesting option in Cannes, I'd definitely return

Wow just wow we arrived on boxing day and departed on New year's eve and every minute a second it was an absolute delight to stay here from the warm welcome and front of house staff to the maids everything was absolutely First class Breakfast was excellent for 20 euros everything you could want. Room were immaculate the maids did an amazing job so thank you. Two bars are across the road and a coffee house and although busy you couldn't hear anything in your room and we were in 304 overlooking the street. Hotel is exceptional it really is and it's near to all the places you could want shopping wise. So thanks for making our stay and Xmas extra special.

We came for New Year's celebration😊 Stayed 5 days. Hotel's location is perfect, in city centre, Rue de Antibes main street😍 Room was very nice, with balcony and amazing view to main street. Room and hotel very clean and beautifully decorated, in room You can find anything You need, big room. Personal was especially warm and lovely😊 Breakfast and food was very tasty. Thank You for this service. We will cone back for sure😊🥰

We had a really lovely 5-day visit to BW Mondial hotel. This was booked for both business and holiday purposes. The location of the hotel is ideal. Close to the beach, on the main shopping street and walking distance everywhere incl the trainstation. All the staff were really friendly and we had a superb service and they were always Happy to help us with any requests we had. We were given an upgrade and had a lovely seaview from our small balcony. The room was quiet allthough it was facing the Rue d'Antibes. We stayed on the 4th floor. The hotel is quite small and so was the breakfast room and therefore very much to our liking. The room was a good size, with large bathroom with a tub. The balcony was sunny from early morning until sunset. Perfect for a coffee or just watching the street life from above. Absolutely nothing negative to say. Just a really nice place to stay. Would definately choose this hotel again.

We've stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions over the last 10 years. Our current visit is for valentines, the hotel remains much the same but the guy on reception is unreal, rude would be an understatement, the least you expect as you walk through the door is acknowledgment. Such a shame that one person can let down a team effort. As the old saying goes “ you're as strong as your weakest link” we'll be voting with our feet. We'll be back when he's gone

Worst hotel I have stayed in and I have travelled all over the world. I was promised a double bed and was not given one. The hotel air conditioning was broken and I had a hot sleepless night on day one. I would strongly advise not staying here. Much better hotels in the area. Lots of other unhappy guests

We can't say enough great things about the hotel-the location, the rooms, the staff were all fantastic. Florentin at the front desk was so gracious, welcoming, and helpful. It was always a joy to chat with him. We wanted a hotel close to the beaches, restaurants, and shopping, and Le Mondial checked all those boxes and more. Highly recommend it.

Fantastic location (less than 5 minutes to the beach), very friendly staff, and the room was immaculate. However, the shower in the room had very bad water pressure and the water was cold after 30 seconds. Additionally, after using the coffee machine water was pouring out of the side. That being, said I would definitely stop again as the positives outweighed the negatives.

Very polite staff, clean room, perfect breakfast as always. I stay in this hotel from more than 10 years and the service and everything is still the same - the best. Location is perfect, everything is very close and you can find a lot of good restaurants around.

We had the King Suite with the Terrace. It was huge, perfectly appointed, quiet, and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, quality linens, pillows, towels and bath products A Nespresso Machine in our room always makes us happy in the morning. The breakfast was expensive, but perfect. Fresh juices, quality cheese, smoked salmon and of course eggs and sausage. The staff was amazing. No issues with WiFi. This is one of the best Hotel Experiences we have had in our many travels!

Upon checking I confirmed that I had a balcony. The front desk told me that I did not so when I called to straighten it out I ended up leaving to go fine cheese and wine and let them work it out. When I came back I was informed that they had corrected the problem but they did not have a room with the balcony only a suite with a balcony! Needless to say it's amazing with a great view wonderful staff simple overpriced breakfast but worth it for the convenience. I was in a deluxe and had a separate bedroom and a front room. Do yourself a favour and just book the deluxe.

The general impression is that this is a nice hotel. The main negative point for me was extremely slow wifi. Location is great, my view was also cute. And the last but not the least is price which also makes me happy. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends

Overall, this is an excellent hotel, with great amenities, and location. We only had breakfast once, and it was excellent. The check out was not a very pleasant experience but the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. We were leaving at 5am in the morning, needing to catch the first train from Cannes to Nice. A night shift receptionist would not check us out claiming we owed 60 euros for the breakfast we had on one of the mornings during our stay. When I told him that we had paid for the breakfast, he made me show the receipt - which I did. After that, he finally let us go. I understand that mistakes happen. However, if you have guests checking out in less than 24 hrs, it's probably best to confront them with any charges you might have for them the night before. Particularly, when the charges are fake and may cause them to miss the 5:20 am train.

Stayed here for two nights recently during our first time visiting Cannes. The hotel itself is centrally located and a less than five minute walk to La Croisette and the beach; from the front doors and your balcony you can see the water. It is across the street from a Laduree, and in the middle of many shops and restaurants. An easy seven or so minute walk to the Cannes train station, which we used to come and go from our stops in Paris. The staff was accommodating and welcoming when we arrived, answering our questions about the area and providing recommendations. Some downsides/comments to consider: -The hotel is right next to a large pub, and when we had our windows/balcony open we could hear the loud crowds. Coming back from a late dinner on Friday night around 12:30am, there were at least six people with beers and cigarettes in hand lingering right by the hotel entrance. The lobby doors were closed but just motion sensored, so someone could have walked in the lobby; but the front desk was always staffed and I would hope they would have addressed them. -On our first day we arrived at around 2:30pm and immediately used the towels provided. Around 9pm I called the front desk asking if we could have some additional ones, and was told that they don't usually provide them to someone on their first day. The woman at the front desk said it was because they had no cleaning staff available to bring them, and that they only give them once a day. I asked if there would be some sort of charge if they did provide them, and she said no, it's just something they do as an exception. She then said she'd have to ask her manager if it was okay to provide us with them, and I hung up not knowing if anything would be coming. About 10 minutes later someone brought up two towels slightly larger than hand towels. Instead of going around in circles about this, really felt like they could have just said yes. I've never stayed at a hotel in any country where it was an issue. After this interaction, we also sensed a less welcoming vibe when we came in and out of the hotel. -The price listed on the back of our door stated that our room, a Classic Room, was priced by them for almost 800euro during the high season. We booked through hotels.com and paid about $200. I would never pay anything close to 800euro for this location - to me that seems a bit outrageous, and something more worthy of an oceanfront hotel. Next time we return to Cannes, we will consider some other options before booking here. But it would be on our shortlist if we were unable to find another location.

You can find all your needs around you We had the best room ever with a nice view and very clean. The staff was super kind and friendly. All is perfect in this hotel even the breakfast. In 2 words you really feel at home. We are coming back for sure!!!

We returned to the Mondail Hotel in July for a 12 day stay in Cannes we would not stay at any other hotel this hotel is in a great location near to the beach, shops and lovely places to eat alfresco. The Team here are all amazing! Nothing is too much trouble they are friendly and welcoming like one big family! We had a lovely room based on the fourth floor with a lovely view, the room is spacious and it was nice and quiet. The bed was amazing the best bed we have ever slept in! I would recommend this hotel as an ideal place to stay we will be returning in the future. Thank you to all the Team at the Mondail for making our visit so enjoyable.

We visit Cannes every summer to get our beach time. We stay at the Mondial each time and have nothing but praise for the hotel. The rooms are very pretty and they are immaculate. Extremely well located - just a short walk to the beach which we can see from our window. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Special praise for Clarisse who helps us with everything. Patricia sets up and maintains a beautiful buffet breakfast.

What a fantastic, beautiful and all encompassing hotel. We had a wonderful time here and were made to feel so very welcome. Special mention to Clarisse who helped so much with the little intricicies that added a little bit of anniversary magic for my wife. Great location, short walking distance to the train/bus station, beach, lovely eateries etc. We booked the suite which was equipped with a huge balcony, jacuzzi and clarins sets. Will definitely be returning.

I love it here! The lobby looks very stylish and the lady at the desk was super nice. The room is beautiful, well decorated with a flatscreen tv. The bathroom is awesome!! A big jacuzzi bath tub and nice products. The view is cool, you can see the sea and the street but it's not noisy. The bed is very comfy! Which I sometimes find hard to find in Southern Europe but it's great here. Everything is really clean. Definitely recommend this hotel, I found an amazing deal on booking :-)

Returned to Cannes but this year booked the Mondial. Its a small hotel that does a fine breakfast and is well placed for the Gare d'Canness station and a staging post for adventures around the area. Patricia who minds the breakfast room was very nice. Highly recommended. Clean modern decent wifi . Small street noise from Morriseys across the road at night

Coming from Australia where best westerns in country towns can be hit and miss we were rapt with this find. We asked for the upgrade and got a room with view and balcony and spa It was clean and check in staff very helpful. Hard to park with no street parking and their drop off bay was chained up. Parked in market but had to move due to market. The station car park is easiest if not costly option Breakfast was available however hard dried scrambled eggs at 20 Euro a person is extreme

This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Cannes. I stayed with my friend in sept 2017. Close to the prom (5min), on the premier shopping street, and beside streets of eateries- excellent location. Our room had a view of the main shopping street. Don't remember much noise at night from the street. The room had all the facilities we could want. It wasn't a large room but perfectly adequate. Overall I would stay in this hotel very happily any time in the future. The staff were v helpful and pleasant. I couldn't really fault it in any way. Again- the location is just perfect. Am happy to recommend the hotel.

Stayed in a Suite Prestige and we loved every moment we past in this hotel. The Suite had a huge balcony with overlooking the sea. Our room (602) was situated in the last floor, with a big bed, Nespresso cafe machine, fantastic amenities and all what you need for a lovely stay. Breakfast was good, first day felt little crowded, than a group left and was more quiet. Everything was served was very fresh. They serve American breakfast and not just continental one like the most of the hotel in Cannes. The location is perfect next to the main shopping street ?? The staff was always friendly and ready to help with everything. Great job! Thank you!

Booked this hotel for a weeks holidays after seeing the good reviews. It did not disappoint. Excellent location on Rue D'Antibes which is the main high street shopping street. 5 minutes walk from train station which is great for exploring the riveria. Parallel to La Croisette and close to lots of good restaurants/cafes. Hotel room was lovely, modern and spotlessly clean. Nice extras including Nespresso coffee machine, clarins products in the bathroom, bathrobes and slippers. Can be a little noisy at night if people are passing by but only noticed this on occasion. Staff were very friendly and always greeted with a smile when coming back to the hotel.

Well positioned for the beach and the train station. A bit of a walk to the old town though. Great service and standard. You even get Clarins meniatures in the bathroom. Breakfast is great but you need to pay extra for an omelette so when you paid for included is a bit of a let down. The only thing I'd improve on is perhaps having a deal with a beach provider offering deck chair discount to guests.

I traveled with my wife to Cannes and i boked this hotel. Its an amazing hotel and modern room. Everything was amazing and professional staff. It is so close to everything and its has amazing view to the street. I willl come back absolutly.

We really thought that this was our 14th stay at this hotel but in figuring it out it was only 12. This is a perfect place for a beach vacation. You are only 1 block from the beach and on a great shopping street. Some rooms have a sea view. The hotel has recently been renovated so everything is new and clean and each room has all the amenities. The staff is very friendly and accommodating especially Clarisse who is a front desk manager. She will help to make you stay perfect. We love the buffet breakfast and the woman who is in charge does a great job. Lots of variety beautifully displayed. We already have our dates planned for next summer.

We stayed in Mondial for 6 nights. Very good location about 1 min to the croisette. Very friendly and helpful staff specially Marie-Anne who helped us planning our stay and booked everything for us. The breakfast is good and generous. However the rooms are small and the check-in is at 3 p.m. I surely recommend this hotel.

this hotel is super cozy, perfect location. Steps from the sea but right on the shopping main area. Staff are always welcoming and friendly the rooms are not to big but the balcony is amazing at the superior rooms. I really love this hotel its my favorite in canne

We visit Cannes every year and were so happy to find this hotel. What a fantastic place! We stayed there for my birthday back in April, my husband requested a room with a balcony and they have reserved one for us with a little bit of sea view. Rooms are lovely, modern and very clean. Staff are fantastic, so warm and friendly and very happy to help. Breakfast was really nice, continental/ hot - (eggs + sausages) which my husband enjoyed. The location is perfect for a visit to Cannes, short walk to the sea, Croisette and the train station. We would absolutely be happy to stay at this hotel again another time :-)

Booked the Best Western Mondial after reading some good reviews online. It didn't disappoint. So nice to be greeted by a warm, genuine and friendly welcome. Stayed in room 507(?), almost a small suite with a separate sitting/dressing area, nice sea view from the balcony and a large bathroom with jacuzzi bath! We stayed on a room only basis so can't comment on the breakfast as we ate out every morning, there's just so much choice. Would highly recommend the Mondial, the decor is modern with a hint towards the art deco history of the building, it's position is ideal for walking about and the sea and Croisette is only 100 yards away. Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed in a suite in this hotel and it was excellent! There is an office area with a sofa bed where our five year old son slept. We could close the door so he had his own room - a real treat when staying in a hotel! The suites have large furnished balconies that look toward the sea (down a road) and a lovely bathroom with jacuzzi bath. We will definitely stay again, money permitting. Very pleased we paid extra for the suite which was really lovely!!

This small hotel is well situated for experiencing Cannes. It is a short walk to the Promenade Croisette along the sea and the beach. Laduree (macarons) and other stores close to hotel. Enjoyed the included breakfast before we started each day. The staff was friendly and the room was nice.

Our room was great, we had a small balcony and a view of the sea. The bathroom and bedroom were spotless and cleaned thoroughly ever day. All staff were friendly. Only downside was the expensive parking. Some free parking available on the Sunday and it would be useful if the hotel could advise visitors a little more of this. Definitely will visit again.

Attending MIP, I stayed at Best Western Mondial since all other hotels were overpriced. The room certainly exceeded my expectations and the location was central, a 6 minute walk from Palais. Elena checked me in and was very helpful in every sense of the word. Great room, excellent location, and a reasonable rate makes this hotel perfect.

Located in the centre of Cannes. Walking distance from the old town and the beach and the exhibition centre. Friendly staff. Booked through booking.com, thought we booked to include breakfast. But we hadn't. Which was disappointing. However, there are quite a few pastry shops around town where breakfast was cheaper than the hotel and very delicious. French love their pastries. The room was good, with jacuzzi. However, having a shower was a challenge. You had to hold the shower head.

Even at the conference rates, the seaboard hotels busted my company travel policy so decided to stay at the less expensive mondial instead. What a find. One block back from sea, central location near shops/restaurants/bars - right by Laduree, and lots of French people going about their day to day routine (always nice when you come to France compared to more touristy/corporate seafront). Room quite small and probably not the quietest location .. But hey .. This is Cannes! Clean, chic and really liked the free Clarins products in the bathroom.

Spent 5nights in Cannes for Business.... First time I try Best Western Mondial ,, it's the best choice I made this year out of all my travel .. Was there during the Boatshow. Perfect clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Small but good breakfast, a recommendation for all visiting Cannes for a short stay. Right in the middle of the "nightlife of Cannes" so you do need to go a sleep real early!!

It was a last moment reservation just the night before arriving to Cannes, therefore I didn't have muh choices, specially with many hotels are fully booked because of the Cannes Yachting Festival. I stayed for 8 nights Situated in the middle of the rue d'Antibes - the famous shopping street - it had a great location in the middle of Cannes city center close to everything, surrounded by ships and restaurants. Monop minimarket is just in the street behind and it opens Sundays as well which was great since everything is almost closed. - The check in was simple and quick - The staff were friendly and the service in general was good and quick - The housekeeping was not that good, there was no attention for details and it was obvious that they didn't vacuum the carpet knowing that there was a hair clip on the floor from previous clients which was there during my whole stay, I left it in purpose and they didn't remove it - It's 3-4 minites from La Croisette - the famous corniche and the public beach - and 8-10 minutes from Le Palais Des Festival, it may take 15 minutes if you were tired or walking slowly - The room had a good space specially the bathroom comparing to other hotels in France and Cannes, but the shower won't be so comfortable for large people - The bed was comfortable - There was a rotten smell all the time in the corridor and the room! - The room was fully equipped with a safe, hair dryer, iron and iron board, mini bar, coffee machine, Clarins toiletries, slippers and ambrella :D - The iron was dripping water, I asked them to change it, they did twice but it was all dripping water :| - The AC was very good and quiet - The WiFi speed was good but I had to re-login every time I go back to the hotel - The breakfast was available as buffet for € 20 which was not worth it or express (continental) for € 8.5 which was good and valuable After all it was a good package deal, specially the location, quality and room space, the two annoying this were the smell and housekeeping but I may stay again there in my next visit..

I just came back from this hotel 2 days ago. Been there with my friends for 3 nights. Even though the hotel is quite small and dinning room too, the room, the bathroom and the view to the sea makes it PERFECT!! We enjoyed the friendly staff from the reception (all 3 shifts), very helpful and very polite. The breakfast is not a big deal, but there are plenty of terraces around the hotel where you can have the famous french croissant with the espresso. Absolutely enjoyable the stay at this hotel, and definitely will comeback. Loved it. Great job, guys.

This hotel is very nice and serves the purpose well: Pros: Great location, spacious rooms, wonderful staff, very helpful and courteous, and very interested in making our stay comfortable, Center of Cannes Cons: There is not a place in the hotel to sit and relax, no restaurant, no bar, no pool, garden or sitting area. So if you were returning from a long day or evening and wanted to sit, unwind and relax there is no where to go in the hotel. Breakfast was not included and 20 Euros for a full breakfast seemed a bit expensive. Fortunately, they give you the option of a continental breakfast for 8.50 Euros, so this was very fair and not difficult to accomplish.

The Best Western was centrally located in Cannes for shopping touring and the beach. The women who managed the day and evening shifts could not have been more helpful. We had the top floor suite and the views of the city were great. We also had a wrap around deck for the room. Breakfast was served at the hotel but there were many places to go to eat as well.

The hotel is located in the heart of the shopping street and bars. It is very convenient especially if you just want to walk around Cannes and not take public transportation. The staff is amazing, they are very hospitable and friendly. The receptionist is multi lingual (she is originally from Philippines) helped out in where to park and the best times to park. The parking is free after 6pm til 8am, after that its 3euros every 2 hours. The room is clean, the coffee, water and juices are refilled everyday. The bathrooms are refilled as well (Clarins shampoo, shower gel and lotion). The best part of all is free breakfast. The waiter remembers your drink which is awesome like starbucks. Overall, I am satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Lovely Hotel, near everything, lots to do, take a good pair of good walking shoes... The staff were outstanding and provided wonderful service, breakfast had a great choice, our room could not have been more comfortable, will return in the near future....

We stayed here and loved it! First nite we we had a 3rd floor balcony and thought that was awesome! On the next nite we upgraded to the suite. You have an entire roof top view on two sides. Everyone was friendly! Clean rooms and a very modern feel! Everything is right out the front door. Ocean is straight ahead. Very convenient for sure!

We stayed here for three nights and it was perfect! Location amazing,staff friendly,helpful and a credit to the hotel/company. Apologies to our maid who was trying to get on with her work but had to return twice as due to a hectic schedule we overslept. When she did eventually manage to get in she did a fantastic job, our room and bathroom were spotless.Would definitely recommend and if ever in Cannes again would love to revisit. Well done.

Location is excellent. Cleanliness of the highest standard. Room well decorated. Staff most efficient. Security excellent. What else can one ask for? We stayed on the top floor with the "panoramic" view terrace. The air con was in excellent function, and would be an important point to consider in the even hotter months of summer. Overall standard of this hotel is excellent!

Hi there, Just back from a really pleasant stay in the Mondial Not only is the hotel in the perfect location,but it provides free all the little extras for which Spanish hotels , charge an arm and a leg, such as hairdryer, smoothing iron and ironing board, free safe, fridge, water & juice and even an umbrella in the wardrobe for guests. Imagine, an UMBRELLA. Breakfast selection is quite good,, with cereals, pancakes & maple syrup, cold meats, cheese, and hot scrambled eggs /sausages. The main selling point of this hotel must be its staff, who were friendly, pleasant, courteous and above all prepared to go to any lengths to please.

Service from staff top class from moment we arrived. Quick check in to spotlessly clean and modern room. Powerful shower with instant hot water. Hotel in central location, handy for shops, promenade, bars, bistros etc. Staff extremely helpful in recommending places to eat, things to see,giving directions, Staff member Christopher lovely young man who brought us a tea tray without being asked when we couldn't work the tea machine. He also helped out with carrying and loading luggage for older guests. Would definitely use this hotel again.

This hotel is clean and very nice, but I left my do not disturb sign on my door and the cleaner entered my room anyway and either stole or binned my cheap plastic spork. Why this idiot was in the room at all is a mystery to me. Very disappointed as this is a nice hotel but don't leave anything in your room!!!

This hotel is excellent located at the main shopping street Rue d´Antibes. It´s close to the railway station/bus station as well as the beach. Actually everything you want in Cannes is located within walking distance from Best Western Mondial. Nice french breakfast. Nice and helpful staff.

I have booked the hotel 3,5 weeks before arrival only to find out upon check in late evening on arrival day that the dont have a room for me. For some reason they overbooked and not informed me which was not only disappointing but also the handling of the situation was outrageously bad. Nobody from management was available, reception staff lied since other peoper after me arrived and checked in althouth "they had no room" available. on top of that i have been woken up at 12midnight from an automatic TV log and at 5am the reception called for a wake up call which i never placed. So even disrupted sleep for two times in one night.

Well located, very near the railroad and bus stations as well as the beach, restaurants and major performing arts centers including the famous Palais des Festivals of the celebrated film festival. Dedicated and welcoming staff and nice art deco style furnishings.

It was a beautiful stay, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms were perfect and the location is excellent!!!! I recommend this hotel for everyone, it is very clean and spacious and the wifi is for free. Lovely stay at the best western mondial.

I booked a suite for 2 nights. .. the location is good and the room was big was very happy when I checked in but I was surprised when I saw an ant on my bed after a few minutes I found out that these ants where all over the place when I complained they gave me 2 rooms for a night until they clean up the suite which was very annoying for my family (to sleep in 2 rooms). The main reason for the ants is that the room was not well cleaned up in thefirst place there was some raisons on the floor from the people who were in the room before me. So I will give them a zero in cleanliness. : (

This is our third visit to the Mondial Hotel in Cannes. We chose this hotel because of the prime location, lovely refurbished rooms and wonderful welcome by all the staff. (we stayed in room 308) excellent view of the sea and shops on the Rue d'Antibes. We are already planning our return trip for next year can't wait!!! We would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We come to Cannes every summer for 4 days to relax at the beach and this is the 9th time we have stayed at this hotel. The location is just a short block to the beach and some of the rooms have a sea view. The hotel is also located on a terrific shopping street and there are restaurants all around. The hotel just completed a lovely complete renovation and everything is just beautiful with their art deco theme. Everything is spotless. The service has always been wonderful and so very friendly. Love the buffet breakfast. WiFi works well now. Already thinking about what dates we will stay next summer.

Nine of us stayed in the Mondial, every one of us praised this hotel as being the perfect place to stay in Cannes. Reasonably prices, very well positioned on the main shopping street but not noisy. Hotel is recently renovated so everything is new and sparkling and clean which is not always the case in hotels as we all know. Paying a few euros extra for a Superior room was a good move as you get so much more for the extra, front street view, larger bedroom and bathroom, plus fab jacuzzi bath. The staff are amazing, everything was dealt with for us so no stress, down to the cleaning staff who were top class. Highly recommended, ive stayed in hotels in Cannes before and never come across such high standard for the price.
