the room was really hot, even by switching AC on, no cooling air was flowing. Worst nights I ever had, as I couldn't open the window as the highway was just 30m next to it.

The best Western Velizy is a nice hotel but the noise from the adjacent highway causes you to wake up early in the morning due to the roar of traffic.

I was so disappointed with so much about this hotel. Firstly, of all the hotels in the world we have visited over 50 years, this is the first time a hotel has not provided transport or at least helped us more with taxis when we arrived in a town we didn't know. The welcome from the man at the desk was so rude. He didn't even say hello or how was your trip? But launched into some monologue in a most aggressive manner and did not wait to listen to what our request had actually been. We simply gave up trying to talk with him. Despite us both speaking English and French fluently, there was certainly a misunderstanding but we had no chance at softening his 'welcome'. No umbrellas when it rained? The staircase to the first floor was filthy. It looked like it had never been vacuumed. The entire reason we chose this hotel was because of the Spa but we never used it in the end. Unlikely to ever stay in a Best Western again

I was extremely disappointed with the level of customer service during my stay. On multiple occasions, we asked the hotel attendant/manager for assistance, and each time our requests were met with a dismissive attitude rather than a willingness to help. One particularly frustrating experience occurred when our group asked if we could use an available common area to sit together. Although there was clearly adequate space, we were told we had to sit outside instead, with no reasonable explanation or attempt to accommodate us. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, and unfortunately, that was not our experience. The lack of courtesy, professionalism, and basic customer service made us feel like our presence was an inconvenience rather than valued guests. I hope management addresses these issues and provides additional customer service training so future guests are treated with the respect and consideration they deserve. Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay here again or recommend this hotel to others. Customer service can make or break a stay, and unfortunately, it fell well below expectations.

We stayed at this hotel, to escape the heatwave in Paris and I absolutely loved my three-night stay at this hotel. Although it's officially a four-star hotel, it honestly felt like a five-star experience from start to finish. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it. Highlights of my stay: ⭐ Exceptional staff: Every member of the team was genuinely kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Their warmth made my stay even more enjoyable. 🚗 Excellent parking: The underground parking was very convenient, and having an elevator directly into the hotel made everything so easy. 🍝 Great dining nearby: There are several restaurants within walking distance. My favourite was PASTAIA, an excellent Italian restaurant. 🛏️ Incredibly comfortable bed: I honestly felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. I had some of the best sleep I've had in a hotel. 🤫 Perfectly quiet rooms: Even though the hotel is next to the highway, my room was completely silent. I was amazed by how peaceful it was. 🐶 Dog-friendly: One of the biggest reasons I loved staying here was that I could bring my little dog with me. That made the trip even more special. 💪 Lovely gym: I spent a little time in the fitness room, and it was excellent. It has a high ceiling, modern equipment, and when I was there I had it all to myself. 🥐 Delicious breakfast: The breakfast was excellent, and I really appreciated that they offered soy milk. 🌱 Vegan-friendly restaurant: The hotel restaurant served two vegan dishes, which I was very happy to see. Overall, I loved everything about this hotel. The combination of outstanding service, comfort, thoughtful amenities, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere made it one of the best hotel stays I've had. It truly felt like a five-star experience, and I look forward to staying here again. 💵 Value : An excellent price for a hotel of this quality. We checked other hotels (not as nice but more expensive!) in Paris and the area so I feel we got a great deal.

I went there during an extremely hot day (40C). The staff were professional and helpful. The lounge and restaurant were not air conditioned and it was not pleasant there. However, the room was well air conditioned, clean and comfortable. The bathroom / toilet was reasonably sized with all amenities. Unfortunately, the walls were thin so I could hear my neighbours. The breakfast was not included and it was a bit expensive for what one got.

First night was kind of a nightmare, air conditioning was not working and it was hot like in the oven. They told me they made some mistake during reconstruction, so it was hot air coming in. When I hit the gym following morning it was really small and barely functioning, I started by fixing some gears first. Later that day in the evening I order a drink but stuff prioritized seating guest and I waited for 15 min. to get a drink, it was served with irritation.
