Hotels in Eure-et-Loir

We stayed here for 1 night while travelling back to Calais. We drove past it but couldn't find anywhere to stop to check where their car park was as we had pre booked a place so we went round the block again and stopped to phone them. Unfortunately they didn't answer the phone so we went back to the public parking opposite. We had booked a superior room and were given 200A. Unfortunately it had a sloping ceiling which was very low and you had to be careful not to hit your head. The room overlooked the front of the hotel and there was a lot of noise for most of the night. The bed was comfortable and everything was bright and clean. The motion sensitive lights in the hallway and toilet were a bit of an issue if you got up in the night as everywhere was then brightly lit.

It is in a wonderful location and it is always a destination rather than a stop over

We enjoyed our one night stay. Our room was difficult to get to with winding corridors and stairs the elevator did not reach. The bathroom did not have a proper door just swinging panels which were awkward and allowed no privacy. The air conditioning was great. The highlight for us was the service. The staff at the front desk went above and beyond both when we arrived with our rental car and help with returning it to the train station. We were so grateful. The hotel is an easy walk to the cathedral which we toured in both the evening and the following morning. I would stay here again if in Chartres.

Lovely hotel, beautiful room with fantastic food. Shoutout to Isobel in the restaurant. She spoke little English, we even less French but what a lovely lady she is. Lunch was fantastic in the hotel. Our room was gorgeous and breakfast fabulous. The croissants alone are to die for. All the staff are so friendly. We rebooked for a week's time it was so good!

This is a little gem of a hotel for anyone driving through France from the U.K. or Northern Europe and needing to break the journey. It ticked all the boxes, secure parking ( but it needs to be booked), very welcoming staff, comfortable bed, close to the Cathedral and restaurants to walk out for dinner. Breakfast was good too and I loved that there was a choice of full buffet for 22 euros or express ( coffee, pastry, juice) for 8 Euros. 2 of us were hungry and 2 only wanted a coffee and croissant, had we been charged 22 for everyone we probably would not have had breakfast elsewhere but given the more flexible choice we had breakfast in the hotel and enjoyed it. Only small negative is spa doesn't open until 10am so we couldn't have a swim before we hit the road again but the gym is open 24/7. Other notable point is the free light show at the Cathedral every night is amazing and worth a visit. We'd recommend this hotel for a short break or a 1 night stop over when driving through France.

Beautiful hotel with the perfect location if you are visiting Chartres. The rooms have beautiful décor and comfy beds. Breakfast was wonderful. Staying here was an absolute pleasure.

The hotel is located in a nice area and is quite. The breakfast and the meal are really delicious.The rooms are nice and clean. I should give a 5 stars, but unfortunately my friends and I noticed some lack of professionalism: - the first morning, while one of my friend was heading to the restaurant for the breakfast, she was asked by the receptionist, if she was from the hotel. This question was inappropriate and upsetting as it could have been understood that my non-white friend was not a customer and came from outside to have breakfast. The receptionist should have asked for the room number instead. - During a dinner, a waitress asked my friend to hand the plate instead of going around the table to take it by herself. Additionally, she took part to our conversation without being invited to do so. Additionally, the light kitchen was switch off while we were waiting for our dessert. So it made us think that we may not have it.

One night stop over on our way home, this is our third stay in this hotel, and as good as ever. The service is friendly and top notch, extremely luxurious and comfortable room, would highly recommend and stay again.

This is a lovely hotel, full of character, and our room on the second floor had exposed beams, and plenty of space. We used the valet parking which worked well. The breakfast was very tasty, but needed a little more instruction as it wasn't clear whether to wait to be seated or just get on with it. We didn't use the spa as they seemed to want more money for it. However the value for money of the room itself was excellent. We would be happy to return anytime.

An outstanding bustling town centre hotel. The service was excellent in all areas..... a great welcome on arrival, efficient valet parking, a very well equipped and laid out bedroom and an excellent restaurant. The food at dinner and breakfast was delicious with very courteous staff. . I couldn't recommend the hotel more highly.
