Stayed for one week business trip. Well located to business related companies. Comfortable room with spacious bed. Breakfast Buffet with a good range of choice Not that cheap but it's close to Paris There is a good burger bar and restaurant within walking distance. Shopping mall about 1 km

Clean, bright, spacious. Parking, wifi, breakfast. Friendly and accommodating staff.15 minutes drive from Versailles. Shopping and restaurants near by. We arrived early and had no issue checking in with in 15minutes. Would recommend.

"Need further improvement"

Typical business hotel. Clean with on size room. Breakfast with only a few choices but edible. Unfortunately, during my stay i experienced power failure twice. Luckily the staff resolved it within 30mins. I guess it was because peak season - hotel was full house. Nonetheless i hope the management will do look into this issue as power failure could impact our stay in the hotel.

"Noisy and Stuffy Room "

Avoid this hotel by all means. Its along the freeway. Its winter time and the rooms are without air-condition. Counter staff was rather unhelpful. Not willing to change our room or provide any replacement, claiming that there is nothing they can do? Well done! Room was stuffty and noisy. Its as good as sleeping by the road side.

I'm surprised to read your feedback as the weather is quiet warm at the moment in the area and for a month at least so I would like to know when did you came at the hotel? Even if our hotel is along and highway as you mentionned, we make massive effort to avoid any noises from outside by putting two double glass window, this system is satisfied the biggest majority of our guest, also we will need to know the room number you went in order to verify if the window isolation is still good. I'm sorry to read that you don't enjoy our hotel at all, and I would like you to offer us a second chance to prove you that we can offer more that all those defaults and that our hotel can be like a second home for you. "A very pleasant stay."

The room was very clean, the breakfast was good, double windows for less noise, due to the fact that the hotel was next to a highway ( worked really well by the way ). I stayed for just one night and I had no complaints whatsoever, Just keep in mind though that the hotel's underground parking is 1.8 m tall if I remember correctly, and if you have a tall vehicle this could be a problem. I would definitely choose this hotel any time!

"If you must"

Rooms are very hot. As others have said during spring they don't switch aircon on. Only way to survive the night is to open a window. So you need a room on the north side. Rooms on the south overlook tr motorway and are very noisy if the window is open (triple glazed so fine if it's closed). I got a nice apology explaining the restrictions on starting the aircon, but this site shows you it I neither unseasonal or a supreme. They need to fix this. These are business hotels that also host tourist coach parties. Breakfast is busy. There are not enough staff to support the number of people moving through in rush hour. The staff are very good and work very hard. They helped me move rooms and find what I needed at breakfast. Would be good if there were more of them. Location is good for the nearby offices. No other reason to stay here though.

Please accept our apologize for the heat in the room, as we should have explained, this is due to the season of the moment when temperature goes up and down really fast in few hours. As our air con system only allow us to be used as cooler or heater at one time, we are forced to stay in neutral at the moment to avoid our rooms to be too cold. There are nothing to fix, just those 15 days of big changes to pass, be sure that we suffer of this situation also. As you noticed, we welcome sometimes touristics groups in the hotel, we manage to organize as best as we can the breakfast to let the opportunity to everybody to enjoy our breakfast properly, but due to some cultural differences the cohabitation can be sometimes complicated. Be sure that we try differents way and do our best to prevent those inconveniences and our staff, as you mentionned, do the maximum to let you enjoy this time. I hope that we could have the opportunity to welcome you again really soon and proove you that those incoveniences are not the reflect of the service we want to offer. "Don't stay here if it's warm in April - blast furnace rooms"

I am a frequent business traveler (1 trip / month) to Vélizy-Villacoublay. I usually say at the Mercure or Holiday Inn. Decided to try the Best Western on recommendation of others. Nice hotel. Nice rooms, BUT The week of April 23rd my room is too hot to sleep @ 28 c, 83 f at 23:00 after the windows have been open for 3 hours. The very nice woman at reception said management will not turn on the Air Conditioning in April. I am not amused and it's unlikely I'll stay here again. Friends here this week at Holiday Inn are reporting comfortable rooms. What do you want from a hotel?

As you can imagine, the heat wave of the moment is general around Paris, also you need that it's a really exceptionnal situation by is intensity and shortness, indeed as I answer the temperature is clearly decreeasing and if this week-end it was indeed 28°C, it will be tomorrow and days after around 16-18°C. In this condition, if cannot activate our air-con system because it's general at the hotel and takes 24 to 48 hours to be activate and lower the temperature in the hotel, so it will be fully operational when the temperature will be to low to be confortable. I assume that my message cannot bring you the hours of sleep lost, but I assure you that we apologize for the situation and we suffer from it as well. "Good but slow service during peak"

The hotel is good as rooms and amenities are nice. But the service is really slow as they did not have staffs to manage a full hotel. The hotel is far from city center and it is in a business location.

"A regular home away from home that never disappoints."

As usual the staff were friendly and helpful, plus the room and restaurant were (as always) clean and high quality. Internet connection is good, as is proximity to the Velizy2 shopping mall and family style restaurants. Most of all I appreciate the extra touches such as the ‘petits four', fruit and bar soap placed in the deemed "Business" rooms. (All rooms are I believe actually the same; the extras relate to the tariff paid?) As a regular guest (twice this year so far – with at least two more visits planned in 2018) I appreciate the whole package and look forward to each stay.

Good quality hotel inexcellent location for Business in the Velizy area. I arrived late at night and the hotel staff where extremely polite and helpful. Rooms are clean with excellent shower facilty. Breakfast was good with wide range of choices

"Best hotel in the area"

I have to travel to Velizy for business on a regular occasion and I believe this to be the best hotel in the area. The rooms are modern and clean, and the facilities are good. I've used the gym, which is roomy and usually empty, and eaten at the bar and restaurant and had nice food on all occasions. The service on reception and in the eateries is of a very high standard, befitting a more expensive hotel. My only gripe is the price when you book late, but I guess that's to be expected in a busy commercial area. If you book early then it looks like a bargain. There's nothing around of interest aside from the businesses, so I'd only recommend this for visitors on business, a stopover to other parts of France, or an overnight after visiting Versailles.

"Bad Services"

Paid 200 Euro per night , location is very good if y are working in Velizy. Services has been very bad : -Internet wifi not stable in my room 401. - check out early 5:30 am leaving for the airport express breakfast not arranged at the scheduled time we left just with a coffee at the last minute . - no remote control for the TV in the room Service is to me one of the most important requirement when I travel , specially paying a certain fee.

If you have meetings in Velizy. It is the place to stay. Room are ok size, clean and functional. Breakfast is great. Meeting rooms are available on the 1st floor. Room service available and actually pretty good !

"Over-rated and over priced"

I had to stay here because the other area hotels were booked. The upside is they have beds, the rooms are clean. The downside is they are vastly overpriced. The laundry rates are outrageous. I had a few things (no trousers, suits or shirts) and went easily over 100 Euro; and there is no nearby alternative. The morning breakfast is a zoo. The food is stale. The room service menu is constant which would be ok if it was even a little varied. To cap it off some of the staff are rude. Don't bother if there is any alternative!

"Well located hotel for visiting Versailles /// crowded breakfast situation"

We stayed in the hotel from 26-28 May 2017 (2 nights). We arrived at Friday night, during the day we visited Paris. We selected this hotel since it is close to Versailles, which we visited Saturday. The welcome was pleasant. Our room was on the fourth floor. The room was modern and clean with coffee/tea. We missed bottle water in our room, though; drinking tap water is very common in France. The breakfast at our first day was very short, since we were going to visit Versailles. It was very busy in the breakfast room and we were luckily to find a table. All other guests were tourists from Asia. Nice buffet with all drinks and food you would expect in this type of hotel. After our breakfast we went to Versailles. It is only a 20 minutes' drive. After visiting Versailles and eating something in the neighborhood, we went back to the hotel. Not a lot do or see in the close area of the hotel. The hotel has a restaurant, but we did not try that. We made little walk, but besides companies and offices, there is nothing special to see. We ate a nice pancake and some ice cream in “La Phare St Louis”. Since we did not had the time to enjoy our breakfast the first day, we wanted to relax and enjoy it the second day…. Better said, this was the plan…. The room of the breakfast was this time not packed with Asian tourists, but now the room was fully with tourists from India/Pakistan (I think). My partner and I were to only European tourists at the breakfast. Almost all tables were occupied, and the tables which were free, were a total mess… There were only 2 persons working, a young guy (with a lack of experience) and an older woman (with a lack of energy). We couldn't handle this, and went back to our room, waiting that these people will get on the bus and leave soon. A half our later, the breakfast room was almost empty, though the tables were still messy. At the same moment, another European couple entered the room, and based on the expression on their faces, we know they thought the same…. We asked the young waiter to clean a table. He was very kind and helpful, and we understood that such situation was very exceptional. I was surprised that no more hotel staff was helping. In my opinion, in this situation, even chambermaids can clean the breakfast room Not only the tables we dirty, but also the buffet… Food was mixed with other food, floor was filthy, no glasses were available, bacon/eggs… were cold, tourist were eating standing, and the top of this, I saw a guest drinking water from the bottle and not using a glass. He placed the bottle back in the buffet, while the bottle was still half full… From this on, I did not touch anything anymore of the buffet…. I am aware that the hotel management does not can expect that all guests have the same manners which are known as expected/normal. But sorry Hotel Management, in that case you need take some action and decide if this is type of hotel you are want going to be…

"Nice hotel"

Have stayed here a few times on business trips. Hotel is nice. Rooms are good size. One difficult thing is to find the room service menu, as it is not printed but rather is on the TV's digital system. Service is excellent and food is generally nice. The buffet breakfast is varied and the restaurant food for dinner is also very good. All in all a good place to stay.

"Very comfortable stay"

I typically go at this property for work as it is a close walk and there is a bit of beginning of activity around the hotel. Plus it's very close to the Velizy 2 shopping center. Rooms are roomy if only a little cramped for the work area. Would like more control over temperature or opening the window. Breakfast is nice but the hotel welcome too many tourists group which take over the dining room. Restaurant and bar are very nice and relaxed. Highly recommend.

"A disappointing stay - room too hot, wifi unusably slow"

Stayed here four nights on business in early April after a satisfactory trip a couple of years previous. Unfortunately a number of things made this a disappointing experience. - The room was far too hot, and the air-con wasn't on 'because it isn't warm enough yet'. However, there was a mini-heatwave and it was nearly 30C outside on the first day of my stay, and my room was south-facing. Hence the room was very uncomfortable for my entire stay. I see other reviewers have had a similar problem in previous years. - The room directly faced the motorway, the window opened a small crack, enough to let all the (large amount of) motorway noise in but not let much cooler air in. Also, despite leaving the window open in the daytime once the temperature outside fell somewhat, in an attempt to cool the room down, the maid somehow thought it helpful to close it every day while I was out at work. - The wifi was extremely slow on the first day I stayed, and unusably slow thereafter. Indeed it was so slow that various speed tests I tried refused to return any results! Not helpful for a hotel largely used by business travellers. Many people were complaining about this but nothing improved. - The only way to access the hotel late at night is via a bell and trying to catch someones attention, which can take quite some time. Couldn't there be a card reader? - There appears to be no way to access rooms other than via the (small number of) lifts. All the staircases are emergency alarmed. I much prefer to take the stairs than the lift - especially in a hotel with only 4 floors - so I found this rather irritating. On the positive side, the hotel is clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly and happy to converse in English, which is useful given the quality of my French! Also the restaurant isn't bad value for an evening meal. Overall though, I could barely sleep for all 4 days due to the heat of the room, and I couldn't do any work in my room for all 4 days because the wifi was unusably slow, and unfortunately they are the two things one needs to be able to do in a hotel on a business trip. As such, I'm sorry to have to say that I'm very unlikely to want to stay here again.

"confortable hotel"

Very good hotel. Clean, comfortable, quite (if you are not on the side facing the highway). Very easy to join Paris or Versailles with public transportation. Breakfast could be better (milk without lactose missing), more than once clean cups for the coffee were missing and had to wait to get some. Advisable for business, maybe less for vacation/family (expensive)

Stayed for the week on business. Room is comfortable and the lobby bar area is functional. Wifi very stable and fast. Breakfast was a little crowded towards the end of the week due to an influx of guests.

"Hot water was not available"

Hot water was not available on day 1 and Day 2. In such cold water we had to take bath in cold water. Other things were good. Staff was courteous. Breakfast area was clean. However there should be more vegetarian options.

"Rooms OK. Hard bed. Restaurant very basic."

The rooms are pleasant and clean, and they were properly sound proofed so I didn't hear the traffic on the street below, but the bed was harder then I would have liked for a good solid rest. Free WiFi works well. I stayed here because it was just a short walk from the office location where I was doing business. It's easily accessible by public transportation. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very basic and the seats are hard metal so it's not a great place to relax and unwind.

Personal / Service / Room / Cleanness excellent. Breakfast buffet could offer more different pure cereals w i t h o u t added sugar. Bread need to be sliced from baguettes which a lot of people have touched already - Petit pain would be better. Metal chairs in the restaurant are uncomfortably cold - cushions would be great.

Perfect stay at this hotel. everything was prefect arranged! From the welcome until the goodbye, there was no negative point to mention. Only positive words! Perfect room and breakfast. In 30min you are in the centre of Paris with public transport.

"Good rooms, mediocre restaurant and breakfast"

Over the last 10 years i went to pretty much to all the restaurants and hotels around. The choice is not that wide so this new hotel was a chance to get a different experience. I reserved there a couple of time over the last 3 years. First time was one week after opening. It was a nightmare as nothing was ready, food at breakfast was not ready at 6h30 and i had to wait to get bread. Room is confortable but can be noisy. During the first night we had a false fire alarm and we ended up in the street. I heard that this happens from time to time because colleagues of mine had same experience in 2016. The second time was very recently. Room on 4th floor very cosy but small. No information inside the room about even how to call the front desk. I think they should do something about it. Television is hard to use. Will stop in the middle of the program. Will not start, will not stop.. really hard to use. Bathroom very clean and bed pretty good. Breakfast is still lagging behind Mercure or Novotel around. Cheap food, cheap juices. Cheap decoration. Avoid the Caesar salad at all cost as it is literally not eatable, they have no clue how to make one. At 18$ a piece they should read recipe over the internet. So overall it is not that bad but decoration lags really behind. Location is only for business around, stay away and do not consider this for a place when visiting Paris. The location is remote and no public transportation is convenient despite a tramway just across the street. Velizy is an horrible place and should only be considered when working around.

"Great Hotel for Business in Velizy"

A good comfortable hotel if you're staying in Velizy on business. The location was great for me as it was less than 10 minutes walk to the office. All the staff I spoke with were friendly and courteous. The room was a good size and I found the bed very comfortable. The TV had a wide selection of channels and the wifi was pretty quick. The breakfast was fine, but on the first two mornings it was ridiculously busy with a couple of bus loads of tourists.

"One night in Paris"

It's difficult to have a solid opinion after a staying of only one night in Paris. In fact, close to Paris, Velizy being one of the "satellites" outside the ring road of the big city. The hotel is big, it has more than 100-150 rooms, but well maintained. It is an elegant hotel, the hall at entrance is nice decorated, also the restaurant behind front desk. The rooms are comfortable (not so spacious, but I had a single room; I don't know if all are the same). The breakfast was good - diverse menu, every product renewed on time. Bottom line, a pleasant experience. But the price is quite prohibitive, the hotel is more suitable for business trip, as in my case, than for leisure.

Budget business hotel that seems relatively new. Helps that the staff are friendly. Rooms are bit on the small side - about 3 steps from end of room to the toilet. Not near Velizy 2 (only mall around), but walking distance to restaurants.

The Hotel is clean and good enough for a business stay. Close to the bussines center with many companies' offices. The room is good, no noise, and the receptionists are very kind. I have been offered a welcome drink. NIce.

This hotel has been recommended to me. I'm very happy I was here. Nice rooms, very good stuff and breakfasts. One what has been missed here is knowledge of english by person in the bar, however for drinks it is not very important thing. I think this is a step up from the other offerings in the area. They followed through on every request. Held my luggage. Gave me early checkin. Gave me a new fidelity card. They even gave me great routing into Paris.

"Nice Hotel"

Finding the hotel and getting into the car park was the worst / Most difficult part of our stay , I was with a French colleague so it wasn't my lousy French that caused the problem . The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful , the room was clean and although quite basic everything you need was available . We ate in the restaurant the service was friendly and efficient , meals very reasonably priced . My only real negative was the price of the room €200 for a basic room seems an awful lot to me !, maybe this is the norm for this location or perhaps due to the European championships the prices have been inflated?. All in all a nice Hotel , Friendly Staff , good service , but not great value for money in my opinion .

"Velizy Hotel - Great for Business"

A frequent visitor to this establishment, I am always pleased with the courtesy and professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness of the lobby and room (which as a wonderful rain shower and mattress) and the very nice breakfast. Taxis are readily available with a call from the front desk, and it is 15' walking to the local shopping plaza. Dinner in Paris (of course!) is about 60 euro taxi at 7:00PM one way. Very good for the business traveler.

"2nd time this time with upgrade"

Hello, Another business trip to velizy, another stay at the best western and i have some updates. I found some pieces of glass on the carpet which i pointed out to reception. They immediately upgraded me for free to a business room. The room is almost the same as the standard one, but you get free minibar, an espresso maschine and slippers. I was amazed by the friendliness of the complete team at reception during my visit. The guy checking me in, the russian girl at check out who speaks amazing french after 4 y in paris. This time around i also tried the gym and i liked it! The room is spacious, the tv is very big and the machines are good. Two things to improve: 1. Fix the rowing machines. I started at the back and ended up in front almost face to face with the tv. 2. Fix the water dispenser. It is very slow. I remain with my statement from a previous review that the breakfast is overpriced for its quality.

"No aircon because it isn't June"

I use this hotel regularly because I am a slave to Best Western points, it is conveniently close to my office and I normally have no complaints. This visit has made me consider going elsewhere: > No offer of upgrade on check-in despite being a Platinum member > Bedside table covered in coke (or similar) with the TV remote buttons down in the middle of it > Air-conditioning wouldn't work, and after several colleagues complained too, we discovered that the outside aircon units were not turned on until June. Had 3 very bad nights' sleep as a consequence > I paid for a premium business room which is meant to include "free" minibar (3 soft drinks & 2 snacks only). It was only re-stocked on 2 nights, but not on the third. In general, the front of house staff that used to be very welcoming and friendly, were not as engaging as previous visits - maybe there is a change of management or something else that impacts their job satisfaction ... I am looking forward to the opening of the Holiday Inn Express to see that brings either an improvement in service here, or an alternative destination for me.

"Good stay"

The trip was booked months earlier, we were a large group, however we were not told that there would be no restaurant or bar facilities on the Friday evening, this was disappointing. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff who greeted us on arrival were very polite, helpful and efficient. The room was lovely but a little warm and the AC didn't seem to work. We were also only given one towel in a double room. Breakfast was lovely with a large variety of items to chose from. Due to there being very few staff on duty there were some delays whilst waiting for items to be replenished. Dinner had been booked and ordered for the whole group in advance, yet there was only 2 members of staff to run the bar and serve the food. The salmon was served first , however the delay was so long before the chicken was served we were unable to eat together . The staff did a remarkable job under such difficult circumstances and remained very polite. When it came to desert despite the hotel asking us to order in advance several weeks earlier one of the desert options was not available. I feel the management had let the 2 members of staff down by not ensuring adequate staffing. I would visit again as the hotel was well situated and was clean and well decorated. However I feel that the management need to review their staffing levels and perhaps if they are short staffed for whatever reason may need to roll their sleeves up and assist.

"Comfortable hotel"

This hotel was comfortable (especially the beds), and very clean. The rooms were very hot and unfortunately next to a main A road which was very noisy and used all night, therefore impossible to have Windows open. Air conditioning didn't appear to work. The food was good, but items were missing from breakfast which we had to wait for, even though we'd been asked to go at a specific time. Dinner was ordered months before we went, but some desserts were not available on the night. There is no dinner served on a Friday night and no bar open.

The room is not so big, but has everything in it. Breakfast is also ok. Free Wi-Fi with good internet speed. It is near to the tram station and at 10-15 minutes of walking is a big mall, where one can find everything he wants. Staff is ok and friendly. I will come again to this hotel.

"Excellent choice for the business traveler coming to the area"

I doubt that many tourists would venture out to the Velizy area of Paris, as it is a business district. But if you're coming here for business, this is a great choice. The staff are very welcoming, the rooms feel more spacious than the typical closet sized accommodations you find in Europe. The on-site restaurant has decent food for those nights you don't feel like venturing out (and there are surprisingly few choices in the area to begin with). I always stay here when I travel to the area for business to my company's headquarters which are right down the street and within walking distance.

"Great Hotel choice for business in Velizy"

The Best Western staff are very hospitable and welcoming - giving the place a warm felling form the moment you cross the threshhold The dining room was more than adequate for breakfast and dinner (cusomt made omelets were a nice surprise!). The rooms were modern, comfortable and well equipped. The only downside was that my room was warm despite the heat being turned off...so opening the window allowed me to get the temperature right, but the street noise made sleep difficult. (If I wasn't dealing with a 6 hour time zone change, I'm sure I could have more easily slept with the warm room or street noise from the window) I will dfinietly return to the Best Western Velizy for my next trip there.

"Great Nights Rest"

Staff were very friendly, attentive and welcoming. Check-In and Check-Out process was quick and efficient. The staff also offered to book my taxi in the morning and made me aware that it had arrived whilst i was in the restaurant at breakfast. Night's stay was comfortable with everything you need; comfortable bed, plugs by the bed and good wifi speed. Also had a good selection of free movies.

This is a very nice hotel within an easy walking distance to my company. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast included was also very good. The safety feature of needing a room card to use the elevators was a comfort as well. I will stay here each time I travel on business

The room was for a 2 days stay excellent. Additionally I got a Business upgrade for the room for free, so I had Pay-TV for free and mini bar also. Nothing more I could expect. A Little negative issue could be the breakfast room which was not always so comnfortable and well organized but all together ok because I was not here for a extensive Holiday stay. Thanks for all

Stayed for 2 nights and I was hoping to see improvements since my last visit 8 months ago...... Still the same "garden furniture" being used in the restaurant, why can they not improve things and soften the whole area? The food served for breakfast was so appetising that I skipped it on day 2 and waited until I got to the airport. The bar has the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever encountered, again why? I even had to open my own bottle of Coke as the waiter didn't seem to have a bottle opener? Did receive an upgrade and the rooms are comfortable. Location is good and it has plenty of parking. A couple of new restaurants have opened across he road which will help when you are hungry Best western, please listen and improve this hotel

The room was perfectly cleaned, as usual, and the attentions received from the team has been marvellous. One of the best choices in this area of Paris and I will repeat all the times I woill have to go to Velizy.

I have stayed in this Hotel several times. This time was the best. All staff was very friendly and professional. The room was very nice. I was upgraded to a superior room. The Video system was great and I enjoyed the complementary coffee in the room.

Stayed on a one night business trip. Good friendly service with decent well equipped rooms. Breakfast was OK although even at 8:30am most items were depleted. Did not stay long enough to review leisure, dinner, etc,

Very friendly people at the reception and in the restaurant. Service in general is very good. Breakfast is good too. Several pillows with different softness - very useful. No steam iron available. Good for a stay if you have business in Velizy.

I was bold in this hotel due to business. The hotel is conveniently located in a big commercial area. The hotel feels a bit cold/ un personal. My bathroom smelled as if someone used it for smoking. Of course it did not make my experience any better that the fire alarm went off at 4 am for no reason.

I stayed for 10 days at Best Western Velizy for bussiness affairs in a bussiness room in the fourth floor. The room was very good, with a very nice bathroom and the bed was so big and confortable as well as all the appliances. The room was perfectly isolated from the noisy enviroment caused by the nearby highway. Staff is wonderful, receptionist are excellent professionals. Housekeepers did a very good job everyday and there was not even a waterdrop in the bathroom ever. The location is very close to one of the biggest bussiness areas, PSA, RENAULT; DASSAULT; THALES; BOUYGUES... On the other hand, the first day I noticed they had not cleaned the toilet brush. It was very disgusting stock with "leftovers" in my bathroom. Also, disposable cups for teeth brushing were so weak and broke easily when holding them. Again, one glass provided on the minibar was dirty, its base inside had a sticky substance on it. Two days they did not fill the minibar which was suposed to be filled everyday for free. It looks like housekeepers rushed everyday, they left their (master?) keycard in my room one day. Wifi signal was not very powerful although they were offering high speed wifi. Perhaps it is because they had to reset my settings and they gave me access in another access point. About the breakfast, which was included in the fair (220€/day), it was just a buffet breakfast. Nothing special on it. Waiters were so nice, but they were not very organised. I used to find olive oil empty, and somethings runned out easily. That can happen during rush hours, but when the breakfast had less people they did not rush to fill everything again. Also, when they cleaned tables they did it very quickly and there were always rests of food near the recipient with the mustard, honey, butter, marmalade... Therefore I consider that this hotel is very nice, generallyclean, and confortable. A quiet and calm place were to stay for bussiness trips, but they need to pay attention to those details if they want to be Best. Thank you so much.

"Quite adequate hotel if you have to stay in this area"

Quite good for a business trip (why else would one want to go here?). Friendly staff, easy booking/checkin/checkout, helpful email reminders - do use their offer to organize transfers, the taxi company they use is pretty reliable. Rooms/bathrooms are OK, fairly spacious and reasonably equipped. All hotel is spotless, beds are good. Sound insulation is very good, with the windows closed you don't hear traffic at all (awfully nosiy if you do open the window). Wi-fi is very good. I was not impressed with the lunch in the restaurant though, you can do better by getting out of the hotel. There is nothing much outside apart from countless office blocks. There is a forest nearby though, good for walks/runs

"Pleasantly surprised"

Ended up choosing this hotel due to close proximity of the work offices, and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are relatively small - however sufficient for a couple of nights and the beds are comfortable. There is also a small gym room - adequate for a quick 30 minute workout in the morning.

The hotel is great! We were surprised that it is well furnished with modern design! Clean and spacious toilet, with heater to dry the wet towels. Beds were soft and comfortable. Standard breakfast every morning but could do with more variety. Overall, it is clean and nice stay! Had a great two nights stay.

"Terrific hotel for Paris/Versaille Goers"

Friends and I stayed here, ironically by accident, while visiting Paris. We were not disappointed. The rooms are large, well appointed and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful in both French and English, supporting us throughout our stay and visits to local attractions - principally Versailles. They helped us purchase tickets, print them off and took care of parking issues we had. Overall, it was an excellent stay and would go back again.

This is a clean, modern but somewhat basic hotel. It has a good breakfast with a good buffet. The dinner menu is rather basic and repetitive. The food was good but not more than that. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was basic but clean. One gripe was that there was no clothes iron or opening table. When requested one was supplied however it was an extremely poor iron and not a steam iron. Business travellers need good irons and Savin 10 euros by not providing good irons is a false economy.

I spent one night for business because the hotel is closely located to my paris office and it was quite cheap with 119€ for a night excluding breakfast. What I liked? 1. Vibe of the room. Very cosy room. 2. Cleanliness of the hotel. 3. Friendliness of the staff 4. Belgium beer from the tap in the bar! 5. Good wifi What I didnt like? 1. Breakfast. For the price it is very mediocre, too full and i didnt find any plates so i had to ate my croissant out of a bowl. If you dont want tonspend this kind of money, go out because there are locations where you can get food. 2. View. I looked on a highway so i didnt open the window hence a lack of fresh air

"Clean and welcoming"

This hotel was a shoo-in for this business trip as the client was a few minutes away on foot. The staff was as friendly and welcoming as you'd expect it from a Best Western, though the bar service seemed to show understaffing and some associated stress It's unfortunate when drinks arrive long after the food. Worse is the fitness room: no weights (can you believe it) and the TV set to reception of Fun radio, a station that will broadcast nothing but brainless chatter and unnerving electronic dance noise. No remote anywhere, nor a switch to cut the blasted thing. Never been out of a fitness room so fast, nor done so little there before I left. Big plus in this hotel is the tramway that provides a connection to the Paris Metro (and to the RER rapid transit from spring of 2016)

"Dinner would have been nice"

Could not get dinner as the hotel was to busy with a large group. I was told teh rsturant was full so i coudl eat in teh bar. The bar staff said they could not take food orders as the kitchen was to busy. Bit disappointing.

""Free" upgrade and then charging for the amenities"

Already happened twice that I got upgraded to a Business Room that includes several free amenities. At check out though you find those then on your invoice. The person at check out then is not capable of speaking English and a clarification becomes impossible. Better not use anything that comes "for free" with the upgrade. After all this is, however, the better choice if you have to stay in Velizy for business.

"Good business hotel"

I stayed here for two nights this week. It was a very busy work trip. The rooms are very cosy and have everything you need. The blankets on the bed are excessively hot and the room should probably have some spare lighter blankets. The restaurant is nice, good quality food but I believe the portions should be a bit bigger. The breakfast buffet doesn't have a lot of variety but it has everything you need for a good continental breakfast.

For my business purposes this is my favorite hotel in Paris area. Special congrats to all team members reception restaurant and room. People make the difference. The breakfast offers a lot of choices, restaurant is excellent and at reasonable price, rooms are silent and well equipped. I appreciate the free water and the little snacks offered. Reception team is always reactive and quick.

"Average hotel for a business stay"

Velizy area has very few places and this would be an opportunity for a hotel in the area to excel as "the destination" for so many business men and women. The hotel building was newer than the rest in the neighborhood and lacked character. The room I had was on the top floor in the corner but architecturally missed the benefits of a view or natural lighting. The bathroom was clean and functional and I liked the fact that there was a shower instead of a bath-tub. lighting ventilation, plumbing, and towels were all nice and fully appreciated. Food in the restaurant was average and breakfasts really monotonous (and not so warm). At breakfast buffet, at every given of time, regardless of the number of people in the restaurant, at least one of the three stations for plates/cups/dishes was empty and you had to wait for plates to be brought in. Staff did not acknowledge guests presence and were not pro-actively looking to serve their needs. With cheese choices close by at Auchon, I believe the hotel can do a better job of providing variety to the plates. On a busy day (I think it was the first Tuesday of my stay) I had to relocate three times as picking the glass and going for orange juice resulted in my seat being taken. The entrance greeters should seat people and avoid overcrowding the restaurant. The restaurant itself has a patio feel to it which is not as warm a setting for lunch or dinner. I took the stairs to the room everyday and although it was wide and well-lit it could benefit from some deodorizer as the air in there was stuffy and smelly. Regular airing might help as well. The staff at the front desk were helpful and on occasion brought me up a pair of water bottles when the mini-fridge was not stocked. Check-in and check-out was smooth and didn't have to wait too long. the minibar was included which was nice but it was not restocked regularly. I really enjoyed the water bottle and the chocolates but had to ask for it to be restocked. Overall, I preferred other hotels in the area which means there is quite some room for improvement at your hotel.

I usually spend a couple of nights per month for business reasons, and this hotel is always a great experience. The quality of the food at the restaurant has also improved. I had an issue with the heating, and after calling Reception it was solved in less than 5 minutes.

I stayed here whilst on a course at the nearby Thales University. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel clean and airy. The room itself was very comfortable and I had a very good sleep. The advertised price however indicates that it is far from cheap!

"good but expensive"

Very nice hotel but too expensive for the location. It is far from Paris and far from Versailles. The service is very good and professional, rooms are not so big and if get the front rooms you can hear the highway, even if windows are silent. Good for business only.

It was nice place the rooms was clean and the stuff was very helpful the breakfast was delicious with nice view for the restaurant and the rooms good choice for having a wonderful holiday in paris i recommend the hotel as good place

The hotel itself is very modern and nice. The staff is friendly but didn't manage to reliably book a cab for me to be on time for my meeting. The breakfast was a shocker for me though, you had the choice between yoghurt, baguette or butter soaked croissants. And that for 16 € I think it was. Not impressive! The location is bad although that's not the hotels fault, but honestly there is NOTHING in the neighbourhood. A few restaurants with unfriendly people and bad food. So unless you have to stay in that area- don't. If you can't avoid it, I assume the Best Western is not the worst choice though...

"Great hotel for business in Paris"

As this was a large chain hotel I was sceptical as to what to expect. On arrival, the receptionist was very welcoming and promptly checked me in. I was room upgraded too which was a great start. The room was finished to very high standard and I was very pleased. This was only a business trip at the end of the day. The wifi was strong and did what I needed. The air conditioning worked well and the room was cool in very hot conditions outside. I used the restaurant next door but was not impressed as the food was average and the service poor. I would recommend this hotel and will use it again when next in this region.

"Good wifi, quiet, cheap furnishings"

Updated: Dropping it 2 stars for lots of little things. The ac doesn't get the room cold enough and i have to sleep on top of the bed or I wake up in puddle of sweat. The bathroom mirror has two vertical florescent lights on the sides and they are so bright that you can't easily look in the mirror unless your head is a few inches away. There seem to be quite a few broken items in here. The towel warmer does not work. There is a bunch of double sided tape residue on the bathroom wall where something must have been hanging. The sink plug is stuck in the down position and the maid keeps putting it back in every day so that my wife has to pry it back out with her fingernails. The maid also took my wet towel that was hanging up to dry, and folded it up so that it couldn't dry. Side comment about sound: our room faces the highway and has two double pane windows insulating the noise. It's quiet. If you open the inner window it does get a bit loud, and if you open the outer window it is very loud. Oh, and the breakfast is just okay. Make sure you get down before 8:30 though because they don't seem to restock food. I went down at 9 and the juice was all gone, the yogurts all gone, and hash browns gone. It's not worth the $16 if you don't get it included with the room. Original review: Good WiFi, the rooms look very nice and high tech like they are either new or recently renovated. There are speakers in the bathroom that connect to the TV. All the lights can be turned on by putting your room key on the entry way holder. All the lights can also be turned off from bed! Pretty cool. There are towel warmers (I think that's what they are)(edit: it's broken) and two shower heads (edit: they only work one at a time, although still nice to use). The staff was super friendly and helpful. I really like this place especially compared to the last Best Western that I unfortunately stayed at.

Very good hotel for business - clean, quiet, professional. Excellent location. Staff very welcoming, breakfast delicious, rooms and bed very comfortable - will always be my hotel of choice for my business visits.

"Good hotel with a convenient location"

The hotel is new and clean and well maintained. I have stayed a few times for business, though I do see a number of tourists. The hotel staff is friendly and have resolved any customer service issues I have.
