Hotels in Puy-de-Dôme

Although the building design and room decor was a little disappointing, being rather ‘cold' and utilitarian, the staff were all really helpful and willing to go out of their way to assist with anything. Also, wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable massage in the spa by Melissa! Those people, plus the hotel's own car parking, both underground and surface, both with 22kw EV chargers, and 10 minute walk from the old town centre, all serves to raise this rating.

Very pleasant reception and kind with wee gifts. Room was very clean and pleasant. Hotel is going through a refurb. It was very noisy at night ( second floor) as it faces the street. Boy racers and sirens. Sadly we slept badly. Parking underneath which was great.

The hotel is conveniently located near the highway and is beautifully decorated, with spacious and comfortable rooms. We especially enjoyed the buffet breakfast on the outdoor terrace, which offers a magnificent view of the Puy-de-Dôme mountains.

we stayed on night driving towards Spain and one noght driving back, the hotel was good and the town is sufficient for a evening walk.

We stayed for one night. We were on 5th floor overlooking the square. Room was quiet, cool and comfortable. We were happy to pay for parking. Loved the view and people watching after our dinner. Receptionist English was excellent. Breakfast was delicious too. 10 mins to the main square. We ate in a quiet side street L'Instantane, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

We had a lovely stay while exploring Claremont Ferrand and the Auvergne. Hotel is going through a transition of ownership, so going to have a spruce up. Spotlessly clean, Good location, wonderful attentive staff (especially Sam) and a wonderful breakfast with plenty of selection........what more could you want!?

This is not a 4* hotel..... it's a basic hotel with average staff and average facilities.....It wasn't cheap and the room was small and lacking in facilities.....air-con wouldn't work, several times I contacted reception. I gave up when I knew I was being fobbed off about the fact I couldn't turn it on from the controls in my room and they had to engage it from reception.....it never worked. The only thing nice about this hotel is the view from my balcony..... and I don't pay to "sleep in a view".

This is a fantastic, modern hotel in a lovely quiet spot, but walkable to the village and close to the ski resort, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with a small spa for private use, treatments, bar and nice restaurant. The breakfast was a very nice buffet and dinner was fine dining but good value…..lovely food. What makes this hotel so special though is the staff; everyone was so friendly and helpful. We would definitely return for another stay.
