We were a bit worried when we saw some of the poor reviews from August but we have just had an excellent 5 night stay here. The location is ideal for accessing main visiting points in Marseille. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was kept spotless throughout our stay and clean towels provided each time you placed used ones on the floor. The rooms are compact but that's to be expected in this part of the city. We stayed in a deluxe double room which I assume is slightly larger and well worth the extra if staying more than a night or two. Although compact the layout was such that it did not feel cramped. We had a walk-in shower. The beds were really comfy. We asked for a twin bed which was supplied without a problem. Breakfast was delicious. You could eat as much as you wanted from a wide ranging buffet. It had everything - fresh and dried fruit. croissants, pancakes, preserves, cooked options, meat, cheese ... If you couldn't find something to suit here you just don't like food! My husband used the pool which was small but fine for an end of day swim. If our stay is the norm at this hotel I'd recommend it 100%. Thanks to all the staff.

We highly recommend staying here in Cassis. The location is perfect and near a police department. Really close to shops, restaurants and the water. The room was a little small but what you expect in France. It was very comfortable and we slept well! Room and hotel were very clean. No noise. The service was top notch. We used the spa and enjoyed our time there. The value is very good. We did not eat breakfast there but it looked very good.

Really wonderful hotel with a beautiful garden and pool. All staff brilliant. Walking distance within minutes to Mausanne centre. Breakfast excellent. great secure parking

Best Western Hotel Marseille Aéroport Good: Excellent location: 5 minutes by shuttle or 15-minute walk to the terminal Spacious, well-designed rooms with good security Large swimming pool Bar: good selection of drinks; staff were attentive and helpful Parking: secure, with reasonable long-term rates Bad: Pricing: We paid €140 for a Sunday night (13 Sept 2026). When our Friday flight (18 Sept 2026) was delayed, we returned out of necessity and were charged €196 for the same room, with no clear explanation. This felt excessive and opportunistic. Restaurant: Poor value. A “chicken burger” was served with what appeared to be three fried nuggets instead of a proper chicken fillet; dry and poorly presented, with an unusual (corn and parmesan) inedible garnish. Overall: Good facilities and location, but inconsistent pricing and disappointing food detract from what should otherwise be a high-quality hotel. Based on this experience, we would be unlikely to stay here again.

This hotel was wonderful in every way. The grounds and landscape are gorgeous. We enjoyed the pool, the breakfast, the bar drinks and the staff. Sebastian was amazing! He wanted us to enjoy the amazing food of the region and managed to secure us last-minute dinner reservations both nights of our stay. We loved our stay.

A really well-located, well-run, affordable option on a quieter street in the port. The room was a little bit small, but had a balcony with a view of the Calanques and a mini-fridge, so I was happy to spend time there at the end of the day. There is also a pool, jacuzzi, and some spa services like massage. While not a luxury option, I was totally pleased with everything -- a very good value. The only thing that was tricky was parking in Cassis. If you are waffling about renting a car, you really don't need one, and the town lots fill up.

Very comfortable stay with a lovely pool area. Parking was easy. Location is approx 10-15min walk into town centre where there were lovely restaurants. Staff were very friendly and accommodation.

I have stayed at this hotel from 29.08.26 to 03.09.26 and I have to say my stay has been wonderful. The location of the hotel is perfectly situated to get to the main city centre and port which are no more than 30 minutes walk away. The metro station is within close proximity and in terms of food at a good price Vapiano in Terraces Du Port shopping centre has excellent choice. There is also a great selection of Lebanese and Palestinian restaurants around the hotel. Also worth mentioning that Marseille Saint Charles station is about a 25 minutes walk away and excellently connected to Aix-En-Provence and Montpellier for day trips outside of the city. Finally, the staff have been very accommodating and helped with all the questions I have asked them.

We stayed for one night on Saturday 15th August after arriving late on the Heathrow flight, and everything was seamless from start to finish. Check‑in was quick and efficient, and the same smooth experience continued at check‑out. We had a drink at the bar when we arrived, and the bartender was genuinely lovely and very accommodating given the late hour. A really comfortable, easy stay — we'd happily return.
