Best Western Plus St. Christopher Hotel

Getting to the hotel to check in is a nightmare because there isn't anywhere to park. Took us over an hour to be able to get in there. The location however is great for walking to everything we wanted to see. You have to be let into the hotel when you arrive.

The location is truly ideal--adjacent to the French Quarter but without the noise and chaos of being IN the Quarter. We visited New Orleans on St. Patrick's Day weekend, and with having young children, it was imperative that we find a safe place for us to tuck in for the evening. Parking was a couple of blocks away, but we were able to unload our items in our room and move our car, thus not requiring a walk through NOLA with our luggage. There was also breakfast available every morning, which was great for a family on a budget. The hotel was beautiful, as the exposed brick walls added such character. There is NOT room for a rollaway bed though, and the rooms are smaller than the average hotel room, so if you are going to be spending lots of time in the room, that would be something to consider. However, it was perfect for our family!

Christopher was professional and very welcoming in attitude. His service was appreciated, by my wife and me. Our shrimp and steaks were delicious. The restroom facilities were clean. especially the women's restroom. It is employees, such as Christopher, that keep us returning to Saltgrass.

This is a beautiful, clean and very friendly hotel that is literally steps away from Canal Street and all the action of New Orleans. It's also very safe with nice rooms and beds. We enjoyed the Hop on Hop off bus and the stop was a 2 minute walk from this hotel. The location is excellent.

The front desk staff was amazing. Older man at the door most days was very polite and nice to chat with. We liked the breakfast but could be better but we had food daily ( important) Housekeeping ladies were chatty in hallways and loud. We also noticed our floors were never cleaned! And we had to ask for toilet paper every day??? Found it odd.

I enjoyed my time at Best Western. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. The hotel was clean and the decor was beautiful. I really appreciated how nice and helpful the staff was. It was in the perfect location and was central to a lot of food places.

We booked this hotel because our regular, go-to spot was unavailable. We were pleasantly surprised! The location was perfect and the staff were awesome. We liked the atmosphere and facilities. We will definitely book this hotel again.

It was pouring down raining limited parking around the facility.. no parking on premises or valet… had to drive 2-3 blocks for parking that I had to pay an additional $45/ night and walked back to the hotel.. no shuttle/ or attendants on premises of parking lot… the room was cute but yeah that heat wasn't doing nothing just air blowing.. they gave another guest extra blankets when they brought it up…

Well first room had no heat so i switched rooms - which had heat for a little while but i woke up to an ice box. waiting for maintenance to come check it out. welll located hotel but if you like heat, you may want to call and see if it's working! Rooms not large but clean enuf

We hosted our wedding block here and stayed a couple of nights. They were very responsive and easy to work with! We even had a couple of Amazon packages delivered to the hotel and had no problem picking them up in the lobby. Thank you to Daphne and the team at the hotel for helping make everything with our stay run smoothly! It is clean, spacious (especially compared to other nearby FQ hotels), and in a great location.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We didn't have any issues at the hotel and felt very safe and comfortable. Front desk staff was very nice. Elevators worked well. Breakfast was just ok- but it's hotel breakfast so what do you expect. I would absolutely refer friends and family here and i would stay again in the future.

Positives- —Only a five-minute walk to Bourbon Street & the French Quarter. —Only a one-minute walk (if that) from Canal Street. —Daily maid service - a rarity today. —Beautiful decor, not only the lobby but the rooms too. They've even won a “best of the best” award for it. I love the real brick wall in my room. The building dates to the 1800's (?) and was a warehouse previously. —Plentiful hot water. —Great water pressure. —Very helpful Front Desk staff. —Everything in the hotel is very well maintained, so much so I assumed it was recently renovated (the last renovation was in 2017). —Fast elevators. —Lots of food/restaurant, convenience store options within the immediate area. —Breakfast was good (but not great). Eggs, sausage, toast, muffins, pancakes, yogurt (plus toppings), and a few other things were offered. — All the bathroom amenities (soaps, lotions, etc.) had a scent of citrus which smells really good. —The famous Canal Street trolly/streetcar is only one minute away ($1.25 each way). It's fun to just get on and ride down a bit, then get off and ride back. —Coffee, tea, & hot cocoa is available in the lobby 24/7. There was also a Keurig machine (with supplies) in the room. —The hotel sent up some chocolate covered strawberries for the women I was traveling with who was celebrating her birthday. This was a wonderful surprise! —The Hotel Manager is very visible and involved in things. I saw her constantly around during morning breakfast, for example. I brought up a concern to her and she immediately addressed it. Negatives- —You can't adjust the temp of the room yourself (sorta) - you can adjust the fan speed, but not the temperature setpoint. —Windows do not open. I would absolutely stay here again! (and intend too)

My wife and I discovered this hotel 2 years ago and it is where we stay when visiting NOLA. The hotel is in a great central location and so many wonderful places to eat close by. The staff are everything Southern Hospitality is about. So nice, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here. You will be glad you did. Make sure to go to Ruby Slipper next door for the BEST Eggs Benedict you have ever had !!!!

The location was excellent for the reason we were there.Everything was in walking distance.Enjoyed the Beyoncé Concert And going down Burbon Street for the first time it was simply amazing.We had a blast.Food places And the Casino were right around the corner. I will definitely stay at the Best Western again at this location.Thank you for your service.

I have a amazing experience in my stay I have 2 room everything I was nice a clean great location. Great staff in the front desk and my guy Jeffrey B help with everything my bags and my dogs everything I was really quick and smooth!!

The room was clean and awesome new Orleans view love the brick walls and soft bed . Cody that checked us in did an amazing job and was very patient and helpful with us every step of the way of checking in

My husband and I stayed at the hotel last week and the young man at the front desk who checked us in recommended a nice restraunt nearby which we were very satisfied with. The hotel was nice and in a convenient location. Thank you again Cody for the good recommendation!

For the five days we stayed in room 806, our toilet did not function. When we arrived, there was a plunger already in the bathroom. We later realized that, upon flushing, the toilet would just fill up to the rim and, overtime, slowly drain. Day 1: Went to the front desk before 6PM to report the issue Day 2: Toilet is still soiled and will not flush. Went back to front desk. Someone came to service room. By that evening it wouldn't flush again. Whomever serviced the room left the plunger so we did the best we could Day 3: Went back to front desk. The toilet was overflowing again. At this point we were going down to the lobby to use the restroom Day 4: Went back to front desk. Someone serviced the room again while we were out. Come the evening the toilet was not flushing again Day 5: Went back again to the front desk. Told them of our repeated issues. Clearly they have it documented of the many times someone was sent to help. Instead of offering a refund of any kind, they gave me a certificate for a one night's stay. We came in from California on a family trip. There is no telling if or when we will use it. The staff were all wonderful outside of this. This final result doesn't not rest of the customer service or maintenance people. This is an error of management. Location is fantastic. Short walking distance to virtually all major attractions and great food in every direction.

Everyone was super nice and the room was adorable. Our toilet wouldn't flush on the last night but the front desk offered us another room or to wait until the next morning for facilities. We opted to wait because it was late and we didn't want to pack up the room. It took awhile for someone to come up in the morning, but when they did they were the nicest and got it fixed super fast.

Stayed 4 nights and never got more than 4 hours of sleep without waking up with a rash all over me. Went to urgent care and the NP prescribed steroids to help with the rash. It would clear up after I left the hotel and came right back when I returned. The dust on the shelf under the sink was so thick I could draw in it. No one ever came to clean the room while I was there even after telling the front desk about it. I even heard a woman complain behind the desk when I asked for towels. Most employees were pleasant and the location was great but until they take cleanliness seriously I will not be back. Plenty of other options in New Orleans!

This Hotel is very lucky they are in a major league tourist area, or they would be closed. I won't say anything else negative, other than don't stay here. Oh! Wait! They also overcharged us! When we reached out to them to rectify..take a guess, they had to talk to the manager..and never called back.

This place was really nice. I would stay here again. I love that the rooms don't have carpet. My room was very clean. The hotel had a beautiful decore. The exposed brick was really nice. The lobby had beautiful chandeliers. They do have a small continental breakfast that was good. They do allow dogs. This hotel is walking distance to everything.

The service Jeffery B provided was phenomenal!! He was attentive and extremely helpful. Thank you for helping us throughout our stay! I'm so glad he was able to assist and answer any questions we had about the area.

We came to New Orleans to see the WWII museum. It was a nice safe walk from the hotel. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Thank you Adam for your suggestions on restaurants and swamp tours. We had an issue with our refrigerator and Adam took care of getting someone to fix it very promptly. Our room was small which was not a surprise if you look at the website . What was most important was the cleanliness. Our room was facing the street which was slightly noisy from ambulances and cars. Our daughters room did not have any windows however they did not hear street noise. Our room stayed nice and cool since it was so hot outside. We always had a hot shower. The breakfast was okay but it was free. There are a lot of hotels but I picked this one based on the reviews and such great compliments to the front desk ( especially Adam). I was not disappointed. So just because it doesn't have a pool or a rooftop, you can't beat the price for its cleanliness, price and location.

From check in to check out everyone at this property was wonderful. They made us feel like family. If you want to see Southern Hospitality at its best just stay here. Jeffery, Adam and Marge are the nicest and most helpful people. All 3 went out of their way to make us feel at home. I really cannot say enough about them and this Hotel. Great location near French Quarter, great places to eat nearby. Clean, quiet rooms. My wife and I are already talking about our next NOLA trip and we WILL be staying here again and again.

This hotel is in the perfect spot. You can walk to French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Cafe Du Monde, House of Blues, Fillmore, and the casino. The staff were amazing! So welcoming and friendly. Every time we saw them, we were greeted. The room was spacious and clean. Nice artwork in the room. Comfortable beds. Cold refrigerator. The location seemed safe. We didn't have any issues. It was seriously a perfect stay. I recommend this hotel, and if I come back, I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was in a perfect location to restaurants, Bourbon Street and other tourist site. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly, wifi worked no problem and breakfast has lots to choose from. There were lots of restaurants to choose from as the hotel only offered breakfast. This was not a problem though it gave us the opportunity to try different local cuisines.

The parking garage is FAR and only self parking with no valet or parking attendant. New Orleans is not safe and I was arriving late at night with only my two young daughters. The parking situation was not disclosed on booking. I found this out by reading another review when I typed in the hotel name for the phone number so I could call and confirm my reservation. The staff does not have proper knowledge on building. When I began asking the front desk attendant about the parking situation she could barely put together a decent sentence to try and explain anything regarding the location. I was advised to call the GM. I did so snd GM does not return phone calls/messages. I changed my hotel due to the safety issues at hand. I'm contesting the charges with my CC. This trip was for a dance convention. This hotel should not volunteer to be a host hotel if they cannot provide basic proper safety to its patrons.

The property is across Canal from a corner of the French Quarter. The room was average and what I've come to expect from Best Western Plus. Nothing extravagant but a good deal for the price. Nightly rate was less than half the price of a room in a higher rated vintage luxury hotel inside the French Quarter, for a cleaner, more comfortable and better maintained room. Staff was good-natured, unintrusive, and accommodating, though at times hard to track down.

We love the hotel this is at least are 3rd time staying It is close to the river walk and Bourbon St. All the eating and drinking you could possibly want then the trolley is just a block from you on Canal or two blocks to St Charles The breakfast is additional thing we love keeping you from rushing out early

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and it was in a great location. We had a refrigerator and a safe. The breakfast was great. I am happy I got a TripAdvisor plus rate! I have stayed at many hotels in New Orleans and I would happily stay there again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The outside walls were brick giving a vintage feel. Beds were not too tall so us shorter people could easily get in the bed. Location near Canal Street so getting to the French Quarter, Harrah's, Aquarium was convient. I'd stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed for a night in this hotel. The room was nice and clean and perfect for our needs. The bed was firm but comfortable enough if that's what you like. We were at the end of the hallway and we didn't hear any noise from the city or down the hallways. The only thing not perfect was bathtub drain was slipping so it wouldn't drain without being propped up, but it did drain. It was a great location to be able to walk back and forth from the French quarter without having to walk too far. The casino was very close and was a fun thing to do once the rain started.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Perfect location to walk to all local attractions. Easy to get to off site parking within walking distance. This was our second stay here and will stay again.

We came back to our room flooded and our stuff ruined! After about an hour in a smelly and damp room, we were moved to a different one. The night of the incident there was no manager on site and we had to wait until morning to speak to someone who would help us. They offered to dry our clothes and said we'd be in contact with someone who would help with all our ruined clothes, shoes, and suitcases. It's been WEEKS and we have not heard back from anyone after emails and calls. We've been completely blown off. I've had to thrown our shoes and clothes from the water damage. We picked this place because of its location but I'd recommend any other hotel. Not worth it.

The location of this hotel is perfect! Just a quick walk to the French Quarter, Bourbon St, the Sazerac distillery, and right across the st from Creole House. Shopping is everywhere and plenty of places to eat. The bed was a bit too firm for my liking but I love the exposed brick in the room.

We have stayed at many Best Western Plus locations and this was by far the best. Great customer service. Hotel was very well kept. Staff was all friendly. We were safe. Wonderful recommendations for local places to eat and shop.

Even though this hotel looks great from the outside, the noise above our room all night was so loud that we were unable to sleep. It sounded as though there were mechanical issues with either the plumbing or HVAC. Additionally, the AC was not working in our room, and the temperature all night was well in the mid 80's.

If not for parking issues, I would give 5+ stars. Who would ever suspect that two garages steps apart on the same street (Camp St) would have ALMOST the same name that includes “Whitney.” I'm sure I'm not the first person to make this mistake and won't be the last, especially when parking at night. When it was time to check out, I couldn't find my car and thought it had been stolen. But since it's an old rather beat up Lexus, I wouldn't think anyone would want it. After lots of research on my phone, I found the other Whitney garage on Camp St and found my car. The whole ordeal took at least 2 hours and lots of walking, but hey, I needed to burn some calories. I was graciously refunded parking fees I had paid to BW. Otherwise, the location was ideal for exploring a beautiful, mostly dog-friendly city. The room was really quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was decent. And the staff was quite lovely, tolerating my std poodle, who can be a bit high-maintenance at times.

From the time we registered until departure we had great service. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety of choices. The breakfast area was spotless and the gentleman who was working kept all choices stocked.

I loved the room we requested, it had a view of the river and big windows. We were in a street view room the first night which did not impress me. The staff is great, so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us near the trolley and walking distance from French quarter, Warehouse district and Decatur street.

This is a great hotel - good location, spacious rooms and good breakfast. The location is walking distance to the French Quarter, cafes, Bourbon Street, the river walk and right next to the Sazerac building (take the tour). The rooms are charming with open brick walls, comfortable beds, and quiet. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Adam at the front desk greeted us and make us feel welcome. Definitely recommend this hotel and will stay at it again. Adam, you are great!

Worst breakfast. No cream cheese, no bagels, pancake machine broken first day, no bananas. Front desk knew little on helpful info on transportation. Gave a 3 because location was perfect. Parking garage was 3 blocks away. Room was small but clean.

This is very nice for the location and price. The room had a nice view as well. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. This is a really good deal for the price and location.

The hospitality extended cannot be put into words. I rate this hotel a 10 out of 10. I had many concerns about Covid -19 and how well the rooms would be clean. To my surprise, it was home away from home. Some of the rooms are a bit quaint but perfect for couples. If you prefer a well-balanced breakfast just before exploring New Orleans, please choose this location! Again, thanks to "ALL" the staff for doing a great job. Hello my name is Carol Walker. I visited your awesome hotel on 09/24/2022- 09/30/2022. The reservation for our stay was in the name of Lajuan Dariso. We were both there for work at the convention center from another state. I certainly enjoyed your hotel as well as the customer service. The hotel was clean, and all of our needs were met. World class customer service from everyone from the front desk, the room attendant, and the breakfast server/cook. I really wish I had gotten the name of the friendly, kind, informative young lady at the front desk. She's tall, works nights, always has the hair pulled back. She was awesome every time, and always polite with a beautiful smile. The room attendant as well. I did the get the gentleman's name at breakfast, he was also awesome. His name was Luis Ramirez. Every morning that we went to work, which was very early. Luis always said good morning and had something for us to eat on our way out to work. He was very kind, friendly, caring and professional. Overcharged for parking. Pile of dirt under the dresser. Initially the staff left in charge couldn't complete my reservation made through my credit card app. Bathtub stopper did not stop water. Dirty crooks these people.

All the staff I encountered were rude and didn't want to work except for the one that checked me in late in the evening. The room smelled like chemicals and it seemed to come thru the ac vent which caused asthma issues for my family. They didn't have cots, the ac made a horrible loud noise when it stopped every 5 minutes all through the night, the shower curtain rod was falling down and the tub filled with water to your ankles when taking a shower. The halls were noisy, but the doors didn't slam. I had stayed here previously, and had a great experience without kids. This time all I can say is it's gone downhill and stay away if you've got children with you!!!!! The parking is a joke and ripoff. It took us forever at 10pm to find a spot our minivan could fit into, and for 12 hours cost 30 bucks. They don't care at all about their guests or the guest experience! I won't ever stay at another best western again! What a poor example for the company they were!

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was in a great location within a block of Canal St. and Harrah's Casino. You can walk to everything. They had a designated area for parking your vehicle. I would most definitely stay here again. The staff was wonderful.

Everything was great with this room. I reserved the room late at night. The hotel is right outside of the French Quarter, so I didn't expect getting a room and at a great price. I would love to stay at this place again, and with the low price rooms.

All was great. Leisure trip. Having fun and enjoying our 60's with good health. No complaints, just missing Valet parking. Walking a couple blocks for parking can be hard on elderly people. That could retard business from some who can't take the walk to park. I love this hotel and it's location. Won't consider any place else as long as we can go to park. $30 nightly to park plus a lengthy walk. Not too cool.

Everyone was super nice ! Always a hello and offered any advice when asked ! Will stay there again next time in town ! The bed was a little firm for my back , ask for another bed cover and comforter and there was no problem at all ! They came right in and took care of it. Made a huge difference in my night sleep!

This hotel location was ideal so a car was not necessary if you want to be around Bourbon street. The room was very cleaned and the hotel well maintained. Internet and breakfast was excellent. It is the best value for money. You get the best bang for your buck!

Friendly staff. Clean room and great location. Breakfast included was fairly good and 24/7 coffee! Would have bern nice to have a few tables and chairs outside. Everything you could need is within walking distance. Elevators are quick. We will be back

Nice hotel, great location, staff ok. After our first night we had to change room because of noise coming from behind the wall. Breakfast was ok but it was the same every morning plus they didn't had any teabags, I asked numerous staff about this and was told that they would have to order then in, well we stayed 1 week and they still didn't have any. I had to go out and buy my own!!

The hotel was within walking distance to parking, shops and restaurants. The rooms with exposed brick walls gave a New Orleans flare, very clean, bed very comfortable, lots of towels and pet friendly.

Lovely hotel we had some mishaps like toilet or tv not working but the staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good but pancake maker undercooks. And parking is expensive, it would be nice to get a full 24 hours of parking But you only get till checkout time. Overall we slept well here

I had a reservation to stay at this place with my family (2 toddlers and 1 baby), but arrived at 3:00 am, after the front door was locked. I rang the bell, knocked the door, and called the front desk for about 20 minutes, but never got an answer. I had to find a different hotel and was lucky to find one.

The facility is actually much better than I expected from a boutique hotel in an historic building. And the location is great for tourists. But check-in took forever, and we had to sign like six pages of hotel rules, initialing each rule. We're grown adults with a family and were treated like nuisance spring breakers, wristbands and all ($30 if you lose it!). Also told at check-in that there's no valet parking--self only--and the garage is a block away. One-way streets and traffic make that a 15-minute drive. Next red flag was that no one even offered to help with our family's bags. The desk lady said breakfast was from 7-10am. She didn't mention that's only on weekends, so when we showed up at 9 on Monday, breakfast was over.... The toilet above us flooded and dripped into our bathroom, not the hotel's fault, but it took maintenance several hours and two calls to show up. They did offer to move us to a (smaller) room, but our bathroom was OK after cleaning up the water, and after two days in the room, we didn't feel like moving. I don't know if we just caught the staff on the wrong week, but it wasn't there level of service that I expect for the rates we paid.

I flew in early on a Sunday and was met with a very hot lobby and very poor service. I was a burden for the staff rather than a guest. I would not recommend this location or chain. The desk staff talked poorly to guests and were very rude.

Internet sometimes stopped suddenly and take a time to fix, so do not plan critical online meeting here. Coffee bags are not refilled, even after claimed to the front desk. The floor was basically clean, but I found that the same dust remains 5 days.

If you stay in this hotel chances are you will fell trapped as if you are in a prison. The hotel windows are blocked by an old building and you can't see out of your windows......Don't stay here... The Hotel managers were not willing to accommodate anying....My first time to New Orleans and had to deal with this BS. Not yo mention my TV was not working and they sent maintance to try and fix as of well first night..Horrible!!!!

This hotel, a favorite over the years, at least 30 nights, just failed to respond to a major issue created by their employees. I checked in for a 4 night stay, learned that valet was no longer available, and was given directions to the garage by an employee. Upon check out, I found my car had been booted and paid $190 to unlock the boot. After discussing the issue with a manager, it was discovered that the garage I had parked at was the wrong one, and that I should have been given a map. The employee verified that I followed his directions correctly. In order to resolve the issue, I offered to accept the $190 fee/fine, but requested that $33 a night fee charged by the hotel be refunded. The manager said this would have to be approved by a superior, took my phone number, and promised to contact me. I have not been contacted nor has the unused parking fee been refunded.

Had stayed twice at this hotel before when traveling to New Orleans and even though is small building, the hotel is clean and located within few blocks of lots of entertainment in the French Quarter. There is no parking but they use a lot nearby. They offer continental breakfast and free wifi. Rooms are clean.

It's a beautiful hotel with very nice and comfortable rooms. I slept very well and felt refreshed after my stay. My only complaint is that the TV remote wasn't working. Other than that, it was a perfect, relaxing stay!

Thanks to the complete lack of communication by staff surrounding my stay had me needing to find last minute sub par accommodations with out any care or concern. Was told I could speak to the manager if I wanted to wait 3 hours, when there were no rooms left after giving mine away.

We really had a great time and the hotel was very nice great locations. Walking distains to anything we wanted to do, eat and shop. I really enjoyed everything about this trip and would tell anyone to stay.

Was charged twice for the room due to a billing error, Internet WiFi was unusable most of the day when the hotel was occupied, Breakfast was late and only had less than hour for everyone to eat once it was served. Shampoo, conditioner and soap was low quality and had to end up purchasing my own.

no early check in before 2, but you can leave your luggage and explore until check in. Porter was very professional, soon as we pulled up he came out and grabbed our bags LOVE it, and building is secure you can't just walk in.

Check in was over an hour and had a person not staying in hotel throwing a fit while people were checking in. Only one worker and she was very overwhelmed. Room had a cigarette burn on blanket remote didn't work properly. Parking is a nightmare the parking garage was a 4 minute walk away and cost $37. Breakfast was horrible. Save yourself from the money trap.

I was here for the Final Four, as this was one of the only well-rated hotels that still had rooms a week out and did not require full payment up front. I've been to New Orleans twice before, so I know the general Central Business District and French Quarter well. This hotel's location was perfect - it was around the corner from two of the team hotels and right across Canal from the French Quarter. Yet you would not realize it because it was so quiet. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with a lot of charm. The walls still show the authentic brick, and there are wood pillars throughout. There are also few rooms on a floor, so it feels intimate. Other than a few mechanical issues (a stuck door and non-working bedside outlets) and a slippery tub, we were very happy with the room and the quality of sleep. The staff was generally friendly, and they had no issue holding luggage for us on our last day because of the inability to offer late check-out. If there were any places to improve, it would be the "bracelet" policy and breakfast. Guests were required to put on a plastic wristband (with a snap, like at festivals or clubs) and wear it when entering the hotel. I assume this is because of overcrowding in rooms or security concerns. I do admit I have never seen this at any other hotel I've been at in the city, so it did feel a bit "down market". Further, despite what I was told, the bracelet was impossible to remove so I had it on 24/7 (including when sleeping and showering). If it was damaged, guests were charged $30 to replace a 30-cent band. Unfortunately, I never saw anyone at the front desk checking them when we walked in (you needed a key card to enter anyway). I think this policy needs to be re-examined or needs to be implemented better. Breakfast was very spartan (only white toast and pre-packaged muffins were available for carbohydrates). However, in a city like New Orleans with a world-class food scene, most people are likely hitting somewhere like Mother's or Ruby Slipper anyway, but people not planning that are likely to be disappointed. Overall, while I tend to favor the major brands given my point balances and loyalty, I would not hesitate to return here for something different.

The hotel itself was ok. We were there for the Final Four basketball tournament this weekend. However, upon trying to leave on Sunday morning to get a flight, we discovered a boot locked to our tire in the parking garage. It seems it was a miscommunication between the hotel and the towing company?! Not really sure. But we weren't the only ones. Several people who had cars registered with the hotel came out on Sunday morning to find their cars booted and inaccessible. It was a hassle to get the situation resolved. AND they've charged us for parking.

Hotel is close to French quarters and even closer to bouton street… most things was in walking distance and that was so convenient. Hotel was really nice and clean very spacious in the rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is good, right off Canal. The staff at checkin was great. The staff the next morning, terrible. Had to wait about 5 minutes to be acknowledge by any of the 3 staff who literally in front of me. Not even a “we will be right with you.” The breakfast option was DIY toast and dry cereal. Only 1 of the two elevators working. The room next to ours had a barking/crying dog late at night until the owners got home.

Overall I had a pleasant 4 nights here, everything was clean and in working conditions in my room. The hotel is located in a great area in the French Quarter so most things were relatively easy to get to. Would stay here again if I need to comeback to this area.

My room definitely had signs of rodent activity in the night. They have uncarpeted floors and so, the sound of little rat feet scurrying around the room was pretty obvious. Needless to say, I stayed up all night. After driving from out of state, all I really needed was a good nights rest - it didn't happen. When this issue was brought to Kiyana at the front desk the next morning, she sounded absolutely dismissive towards me, as if I couldn't possibly be right. As for breakfast, this hotel's idea of a breakfast was a bare counter, essentially. My daughter and I came down smack in the middle of breakfast hours and found 2 muffins on display and 1 granola bar. Literally 3 pieces of food. I turned around to a couple of guests seated in the area and just to be sure, asked them if this was the breakfast area, they laughed and said unfortunately yes, and that they were just waiting there while they had their names on a waitlist to get some breakfast at the restaurant next door.

Our flight got postponed resulting in us having to reschedule as we would miss our connecting flight. The hotel we just left had no rooms available. It was 5 am or so at this point. Booked a room at the St Christopher Best Western from the airport and headed back into town. On arrival asked if there was an early check in. Was told check in was at 4pm but if we paid an extra 100 dollars we could check in immediately. Really? You're telling me there is a room ready which I would be placed in at 4pm but you can't give to me now unless I pay an extra 100 dollars. Never mind I tried applying my points when I booked using the app and they didn't go through for whatever reason.

Reservation system went down and no procedure in place to handle guest that reserved rooms with third parties like Price Line. Would not provide a room because the computer was down even with Price Line contacting hotel direct via phone. Waited 2 hours for the staff to concede and provide us with a room.

The toilet and drain in the shower were blocked up, the coffee maker was so disgusting, and the air system did not work. We didn't notice these things until it was late at night because we had an event so initially didn't spend time there and didn't want people in the room while we were gone. When I asked about a discount for bot being able to use the bathroom during our stay I was told no. I share this experience with everyone I know so they can pick a different hotel. It's worth it to pay another 20-50 for a room elsewhere.

We spent 5 days and 4 nights in New Orleans, this hotel was superb. The greeting was warm and welcoming, the hotel authentic and ideally situated. We were impressed with the cleanliness, security and service. Great view of the city and the Mississippi River, can't recommend highly enough.

The front desk staff were very friendly at check-in and knowledgeable about the area. They gave me recommendations for near-by dinner options, as I was traveling with my 81 year old mother and she is not able to walk too far. We appreciated the character that our room had with the brick walls. This hotel was pet friendly which was very much appreciated!

Took my guy to The Big Easy for his first time. Had an interesting time. The best part about the trip was being able to return to that comfy bed and pillows at night, Front desk staff was helpful with direction. Place was being fumigated when we arrived. Luckily didn't see 1 bug, lol.

Feels like night time All day, if you have to be up early you better be a morning person or have an alarm on next to you. The “windows” are mirrors and parking is blocks away. But overall comfy hotel and Awesome employees!! Their helpfulness and eager to get what I needed in a quick timeframe is what really drove me to stay!

This hotel is really nice place. Everything was really good! In the center not far from French Quater. Walking distance, you don't need a taxicab. Nice hotel with breakfast. I can totally recommend for your stay in New Orleans.

What A Wonderful experience! The Staff was Awesome kind and so accommodating I would stay here Every I'm Town. The rooms were very clean and fresh the smell when i walked in was so inviting and breathe taking i had to ask what was the fragrance being used to freshen the room. The sheets were crisp and warm. dd

I cannot agree less with all the positive comments made about this hotel. There were only two friendly staff members, Tom and Jeffrey. With that being said, let's talk about check-in. We arrived 4.5 hours early. We knew it and were not worried about it, neither was the clerk who seemed annoyed we hung around the building. At one point, about 2.5 hours later, we asked how soon could someone possibly do an early check-in? Her reply, 3:30 PM only 30 minutes before actual check-in time. About 2 hours later, this same clerk found us and asked us what our name was and said she was going to check to see if our room was ready. It wasn't. At 4:30 PM which was 30 minutes after normal check-in time, we returned to the hotel after getting a late lunch. The room was still NOT ready but they gave us another room - a double at a queen room price. The wallpaper was peeling, the room smelled like cannabis, the shower dripped to almost a small flow the entire stay. Tom and Jeffrey had to come to our room more than once to help fix the tv which turned out to be a minor cable attachment. The morning "continental" breakfast was a "grab and go" convenient store waste of time. The advertised room service 3rd party subcontractor, 2ndKitchen, had good warm food which showed up 30 minutes late the next morning. We were there the day the sprinkler system failed and dumped water on the 1st floor. The outside maintenance person (probably from the fire suppression company) thought it was funny and moved at a snail's pace while the MOD walked around like nothing was going on without a care in the world. Jeffrey and Tom were busy cleaning and moving items and trying to mop up the water and protect the baby grand piano. We were not the only unimpressed guests. We overheard one couple tell the front desk clerk that their sink was backed up when they check-in and no one came to fix it. They didn't want to be blamed for someone's mistake. I am disabled. The location is also not the best for tourists. Everything is a half-mile or more away. Have good legs, a car, or the Uber App.

This hotel was an excellent hotel to stay in, it is centrally located and the staff were excellent to work with. We will be staying here again. We're looking forward to booking another reservation in April or May, depending on covid.

We wanted to spend the night in New Orleans to eat and experience the city. We needed to bring our pet so we chose this hotel because of the pet friendliness and the price. The hotel is very nice visually from the outside and the lobby. The rooms were also very cute. There was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom with plenty of towels. We were comfortable and so was our pet. Everything was close and in walking distance. Parking was close (the hotel parking was full so we parked at a near by premiere parking lot). If you want to get to bourbon or Decatur or even poydras streets, it's a relatively short walk. The hotel itself was quiet and they had a snack bar/breakfast bar. There is also a little room with extras like medicines, umbrellas, snacks, and other things in case you need it with out having to go to CVS. The room for one night with two double beds and a pet deposit was around $175-$180 ($30 of that is pet deposit), (does not include parking which was $40 for 24 hours at the premiere parking lot a few short feet from the hotel) Over all we were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely stay there again if we needed to bring our pet with us.

I enjoyed our room, but front desk people were not knowledgeable when we wanted to use gift cards when we checked out. They had already run our credit card that we used when we checked in, instead of waiting for check out. When I tried to explain that I called the credit card company, I was dismissed, saying we don't do that here. Also, breakfast was a disappointment- nothing was cooked. It was all microwaveable breakfast sandwiches. The room was nice though, and for the most part we had quiet.

Our trip was the day after Christmas Day. We were not aware of additional charges for Parking and incidentals. The parking to load and unload is limited to two cars and some of the guest abuse the use of the spot by leaving their vehicles there. This is a pet friendly hotel with no accommodations for the pets as far as locations to let them out to potty. The staff was friendly, but not locals to advise where to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also no one mentioned the restrictions for identification of vaccine. We were not allowed to go to the casino or some of the restaurants which was one of the reasons to stay at this location. Staff did not know where the casino was or restaurants. We would be hard pressed to stay there again.

The St Christopher Hotel has the perfect location for New Orleans - just off Canal St, easy walking to both the French Quarter, Central Business District and the river: AND a quiet location. Hotel appears recently re-furbished, with high quality modern furniture, great bathroom, and all the expected amenities. The brick walls add interest. Lobby is modest, unlike the big chain hotels, but quite adequate. Staff pleasant and helpful. I stayed on a 10K point award, and felt this was excellent value. One suggestion: I understand 'Grab & Go' breakfast in these times of COVID, but why not provide a small voucher ($5-10?) towards breakfast at the adjacent Red Slipper which has excellent outside seating and will text you when they are ready? Good for everyone ..

We got fogged in at the airport and had to spend an extra night in New Orleans. Jamir at the front desk was very kind, let us check in a little early and soon the inconvenience of a cancelled flight was replaced by the warmth of the staff and the realization that we got to spend another night in New Orleans! Hotel was nice, clean and in a great area, a block from Canal St. and just across the street from the French Quarter.

It was amazing!!! I give it a 10! The front desk was very friendly, courteous, respectful and helped me find everything I needed to help us have a fantastic time. He took the time to go over all the fun places we could visit in New Orleans. He also took his time to make extra keys for both of our rooms and made sure we were happy with our prices for the rooms. He went above and beyond to keep us very happy and make us feel like we were home. We will definitely be staying here again.

Check in process terrible for my wife that didn't have the physical credit card the room was booked on. Took approximately an hour and a half to complete the process between emails and pictures that I called ahead and was assured there were no issues.

Business trip. AC didn't work well, continental breakfast was a joke, parking situation is a nightmare, front desk staff is incredibly slow and not helpful, etc, etc. Lot's of superior options in the area with similar price tags. Instead, go stay at the Sheraton next door or the Hyatt Regency just down the road.

This is a great place to stay if you want AC that doesn't work and a super cramped room. If you love showers, look elsewhere. You won't be taking one in the clogged, backwashed showers here. Pretty problematic when you're sweating in your sleep because the AC doesn't work, then you need to shower but can't because the shower is full of hair and drain residue. The “hot” breakfast was my favorite part. We managed to get one creamer to go with the old coffee, and they were even kind enough to put out TWO muffins for the entire breakfast setup. What a treat!

The only thing going for this hotel was location. The rooms were small, the floor was filthy, the noise outside was loud,the service was average.There was no breakfast, but no reduction in price. Spend a little more for a better room!

10/10 will not stay again nothing was listed as it should of been. There were hidden fees that was not previously listed. And the staff as HORRIBLE! Super rude and did not act friendly at all. Will definitely not stay again.

The problems I had at the St. Christopher the first weekend in October of 2021 were the following: 1) The breakfast buffet (which was the main reason I chose this hotel) simply does not exist. They did have some plastic-wrapped muffins and foil-wrapped granola bars similar to what you might find in a vending machine that were there for the taking and a couple coffee machines, but the "Deluxe Continental Breakfast including eggs and sausage or bacon, freshly made pancakes, muffins, pastries, bagels, English muffins, cheese, grits, assorted oatmeal, breakfast bars, variety of cereal, yogurt, apples, bananas, burritos" which is on their website? You will not find anything remotely similar at the present time ("due to Covid" I was told). 2) When we checked in, a man in front of us was at the front desk saying, "These keys don't work either." I hoped that wouldn't happen with me, but after going up to 811, I was back at the desk saying, "Our keys don't work." A maintenance man went up and let us in and went to work on the lock, saying he was going to have to replace everything and excusing himself. Much later we were back at the desk to see when he would be back, only to find he was gone for the day. So we got keys to the room next door and moved in there instead. 3) With a bottle of booze, we wanted some ice. There was a vending machine, but no ice machine despite a sign that said "Vending and Ice". Back to the front desk. Ice is on the 4th floor." I walked all around the 4th floor before giving up and returning to the front desk where the young lady reviewed a manual and said "3rd, 5th and 7th floors." Aside from that, clean rooms, good wifi, good location, though the toilet was running all night.

It's a nice quaint hotel that I usually stay at when I come to NOLA especially for the location to the French quarter. However, I did not have a good stay this time. The water pressure was very low in my original room and I had to be moved twice. Due to COVID, housekeeping is by request only. I stayed 6 nights, so I requested housekeeping twice. They never cleaned my room, only after speaking with a manager. I asked to be compensated for the two mishaps, however I was told the water issue was not the hotels fault and because the front desk person forgot to put my name on the cleaning list then "oh well." This was not a good experience! I've stayed at this location 3 other times, so I was highly disappointed this visit. Not sure if I'll ever stay here again.

After numerous searches of finding a hotel in the middle of the French Quarter, I was able to book this hotel for a really great price. Location was the best. Right in the middle of everything. Great vacation!!!!!!!!

Spacious room, clean bathroom and lobby. Not a bad value and within walking distance to many tourist spots in New Orleans. Over all a very good experience. Front desk was available for help all night long.

This is a great hotel and location for those visiting French Quarter. The staff was very friendly. The room space is small, which kept me from giving the hotel 5 stars. Just felt too small, even for one person.

The room was exceptionally clean and the location to everything was EXCELLENT! The parking lot was full so we parked our car at the WTC parking garage (a couple blocks away - the only negative, but that comes with staying downtown in a city) and never needed the vehicle again all weekend. We were able to walk to all the famous restaurants and the French Quarter and to the Riverside mall. Such a great location. The coffee is excellent (Community Coffee, a local brand) and available 24/7. Breakfast was in a bag and meh enough that we didn't even bother getting it the second day (Red Delicious apple, muffin, water, granola bar). But that was understandable, as staffing is a problem everywhere, and didn't dampen our stay. Also due to staffing, housekeeping doesn't come automatically, but we actually liked that, as we didn't need to think of being disturbed. The a/c made a good white noise for us so that we never heard others all night. It was pricey on a weekend, but the Best Western rewards program helped offset some of that with points for a future stay.

This hotel was not as it was advertised. It was supposed to have valet parking and free hot breakfast. We had to self park 5 blocks away in a crime ridden parking garage. Breakfast was a muffin and a water bottle. The beds were hard, we had no window so the room was dark, our room had roaches, and the toilet stayed stopped up most of our stay. We stayed in East New Orleans at a Holiday Inn Express at the beginning of our trip and drove in to the French Quarter, paid for parking and had much better accommodations. I would NOT recommend staying anywhere downtown. We've stayed at Best Westerns for years, but this property was the pits. Even the front desk staff was rude. They also did not clean or service our room for the two nights we stayed there. I had to bag my own trash up and put it in the hallway each day. We won't be back!

Located within easy walking distance of Bourbon Street and Jackson Square. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are well appointed, if a bit small by today's standards. Everything about this location seemed to take me back to simpler times. Parking is a bit of a walk, but in a security patrolled lot.

The price, the location, and the hospitality could not be beat. The breakfast was what I was expecting from other experiences. I would definitely recommend staying here. We were able to walk everywhere.

Check in time is 4:00 PM. If you want to check in at 3:45, you have to pay $50. Needless to say, everyone checks in at 4:00. Only one receptionist. One! And, she was inexperienced. Parking costs $30. They've you a sheet with parking places and the receptionist puts an arrow on the one you are supposed to go to. The address is 435 Camp St. There is no such address!!! Calling the number of the parking business - they said the address was 601 Poydras St. There is no parking place on 601 Poydras St. It goes on and on about how bad this experience has been. Shame on you, Best Western!!

Each trip to New Orleans brings us to the BW St Christopher Hotel. We are always so pleased with the staff, cleanliness and the location, location, LOCATION! Everyone there is very friendly and professional.

We stayed here one night to see the city and enjoy a fun evening. It started with a call to the front desk before we arrived to ask about parking. We ended up on hold for thirty minutes, arriving with no where to unload, no answer from the hotel on where to park and forced to drive around half the city before navigating back and finding the only open spot to unload. We then waited twenty minutes to check in, were charged extra for our pet to stay and extra to park three blocks away in the tiniest spot and sweat all the way back. There's also no grass or places to walk your dog if you brought one! The rooms were ok, although the beds were hard. They also had a strange odor. Our rest was anything but restful and I actively regret wasting my money on this hotel. It's proximity to downtown was not worth the hassle, I will never stay here again and hope to save atleast a few others from this mistake.

There are probably other options. Some technicians working for the hotel were parked in front of passenger unloading zone. Refused to move making hard to load our 8 large bags. Thats just the beginning as the whole experienced was terrible

The rooms were very clean and comfortable everything worked and service was excellent. Would stay here again. 2 thumbs up. Staff was helpful and caring. The parking is kinda tricky but they give you options, would recommend taking a Uber or taxi. Good views and close to all of the French quarter.

The hotel is in great location in New Orleans. That's about all I can say good for this place. The service is terrible! I had numerous problems I brought to the assistant manager's attention, she couldn't be bothered with them. Offered a very poor offer to compensate us for the all the troubles we had at the hotel. I told her to do whatever because they should have done way more than she was offering. It's ok, live and learn. We will never stay at this place ever again!!!! The staff could care less about the guests and it clearly shows. It's a shame because the hotel is located in a great spot. Hopefully they will change the staff and other guests won't experience the same things we did. Not Going Back Ever!!!!!

Parking is Not on site. Very far away. Web site tells different. No food in area. No drinks were served. Lots of add ons with our bill. Had to prepaid for Parking only to get bumped off their list. They didn't care at all. Very rude staff. Dirty hotel. Smelled horrible in our room. The bathroom was nasty. I refused to even use the shower. I saw mold. This hotel needs to be torn down.

I think the parking was a bit pricey for a lot that gets filled up quickly at night since it's a shared parking lot.Could of been a little cheaper but overall this hotel was in a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful.

If you're looking for a hotel with lots of amenities like pools, restaurants, and bars this may not be your place. But if you're looking for great value and perfect location in the French Quarter this is it. Clean, well-equipped rooms (coffee, frig, etc,) in a historic boutique type hotel in the perfect location to hit all the restaurants and attractions. From check in to check out the front desk staff was SUPERB and SUPER HELPFUL. Desk person Julianne and others were friendly and helpful. Julianne recommended a restaurant that became our go-to spot during our time in New Orleans. Desk staff was great in assisting with any extra towels and supplies needed. Thanks for a great stay.

The hotel itself is pretty average and relatively clean with a superb location. Unfortunately the reception staff is unexperienced and lacking empathy. They should learn what good customer service is.

The stay was fine, but our trip was ruined when we had to leave due to a family emergency. The hotel's staff assured us that we would be able to get a refund through our booking service (Expedia). However when Expedia called the staff at Best Western in New Orleans, the staff adamantly retracted what they said and said that they wouldn't allow it due to policy, or something absurdly different than what they told us at the front desk. Super disappointed that they value the relatively small amount of money I lost more than their reputation.

Central location. Nice staff. Pretty room. Heater didn't seem to work. Dirty tub as if nobody cleaned it. Shower had low pressure. Dirty vents. Self-parking available which requires you to check in at the hotel and pick up a ticket. Parking area seems shady. Costs $30 to park per 24 hour period. Breakfast to go box included that comes with water, muffin, granola bar and apple. 

The rooms were very clean and modern , very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown New Orleans. Safa

Older building with nice decor. Great location near Canal Street. Very good value for the price. No breakfast option, but several excellent restaurants nearby. Close to river, street car. Parking about a block away.

My friends and I came to NOLA for the week and stayed here for 6 nights. We had a corner room on the 7th floor which was nice. Not many people were staying in this hotel. You could only get into the hotel with your room key so the security was good there. The lobby was small but it did the job. The people at the front desk were really nice and friendly. There is no housekeeping during Covid, so if you need something you have to go down to the desk to ask for what you need. Our room wasn't the cleanest which I didn't like during a pandemic. The windows were super dirty and there was soap on the bathroom window which we got off with our own wipes. I don't think all the bedding is changed because I saw long black hairs and I am a guy with short brown hair. Our fridge was broken when we got there so it shows the housekeeping doesn't check. The maintenance guy did fix it right away when I went down to the desk. The wifi didn't reach our room very well. It took us a few days to connect. This hotel was so cheap and in a good location to visit and see all of New Orleans. If there wasn't a pandemic, there is no way I would pay the $300+ a night to stay, but for $91 a night and free breakfast, we couldn't beat it.

My wife and I recently stayed at the St Christopher and overall it was a great experience. The room was small, but that can be expected with an older hotel in New Orleans. My only complaint would be the parking situation. We had to pay $33 to self park in a sketchy parking lot between two liquor stores behind the hotel off of Canal street, wasn't too pleased with that. Other than that I would recommend this hotel, I would just spend the same amount of money and park in Harrah's Casino's parking garage and walk the extra block to the hotel.

We were surprised at how beautifully decorated the hotel was for Christmas. The room was recently updated and very comfortable. I made sure to reserve rooms with windows. The hotel was conveniently located to the French Quarter. We had breakfast next door at the Red Slipper.

This hotel is too overpriced for What it actually offers. The WiFi sucks, the bagged breakfast sucks, they don't clean rooms or even ask of you need additional supplies. The doors are always locked so you have to wait in the cold even during the day. I wish we stayed somewhere else. They're saying they can't do certain things because of COVID-19 but still charging for those services as if they did. If you guys can't do it. You should lower your booking prices because you're not doing half of what you promise. This hotel is a complete waste of money and i hated my whole visit. I needed up leaving here earlier

We stayed here for a total of 7 nights. It is located right next to The Ruby Slipper which seems to have lines out the door anytime we pass by so if you've been wanting to try it then this location would be great for you. Checking in: We walked in and were greeted by a nice young lady at the reception desk. We checked in within a few minutes hassle free. There is parking behind the hotel which you pay for $20-$30 (including tax) per night. We were informed that due to COVID room service isn't available, housekeeping is reduced to as needed, if we need towels to put ours on the floor and call for new ones, and breakfast would be in to go bags. We don't typically use room service and since going vegan there's not much in a continental breakfast I could have anyway so all of that was fine with us. Rooms: The first nights we stayed in a queen room. This room has a normal height ceiling. It was clean and non-smoking. The room itself is a bit smaller than I had expected. Comes with a safe, fridge, iron & ironing board, marble tub & shower, hairdryer, desk, and lamps. Our room had a view of the street, we can see the cars pulling up for check in. We decided to extend our trip and attempted to do it at the front desk but the price we were quoted wasn't what we would be happy to pay. I went online and booked a king room for what I was happy to pay. The later half of the stay was in a king room. It has a high ceiling. The room is larger also non-smoking. This time we had a view of other buildings. Albeit was a bit tough for me to reach the stick you use to slide the curtains because I'm only 5' so you just slide the curtain without the stick. Other than that no critique really. If you are looking to book a room and debating between the queen or king just go with the king. You'll be much happier.

The hotel is very nice and close to quarter. This is my second stay there. Covid restrictions took away from the experience but they are following protocol. One thing! I looked on the website and saw that valet parking was suspended. So I parked in the lot behind the hotel and paid 60 dollars. When I checked in, I discovered I could stay in SAME lot for 25. I plead my case with the parking company to give me my 35 back and they refused! The staff at the hotel could not credit me either. Perhaps the website can be updated to advise people to check in before parking.

We stayed here Pre COVID and our stay was amazing. Our room was very clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable unlike any other hotel I have stayed at. The lady at the front desk was also very kind and helped us with all of our questions we had. The hotel it's self is in a perfect location right next to the FQ and not that far of a walk to the Super dome and Smoothie king center.

Grat Place to Stay right by French Quarter, Excellant Staff and location, Kept Clean and provided everything we needed in a timely manner We had to move here due to a fire at the Quarter House. The staff here was helpful and checked everyone in quickly and professionaly.

The hotel staff was friendly, it was very clean and updated. Comfortable beds and pillows. The room was very small, but it was completely adequate. We were there just as things were opening up after Covid, so there was no continental breakfast. They provided grab and go bags with a muffin, granola bar, fruit and juice instead. The only tricky issue was the parking. They normally offer valet for under $40 a day (I think it was $37), but due to Covid there was no valet. There was a pay lot right behind the hotel, but it was $20 for 4 hours. That wasn't going to work for overnight. Luckily, because the numbers of guests were down we were able to park right on the street for free. The hotel was great and very close to popular tourists areas, but if we went back when it was more crowded I would probably want to find somewhere with a better parking situation. Also, no microwave, but overall, a great night's stay!

We stayed for a week in early February! The location of the hotel was perfect! Even better then what we thought it would be! Just a few minutes walk to the French Quarter. We actually walked everywhere during the week. Most places we went to from the WWII museum, the riverfront, Louis Armstrong Park were at most 20 minutes away. The staff at the hotel were so great to work with especially Anthony! We had a few minor issues when we checked in with our room but they were all promptly taken care of. He really made the customers his top priority! The breakfast was one of the best we have had. There also was an omelette bar where a chef cooked your personal order along with many of the regular breakfast options.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for the French quarter, with access to all modes of transport which is 2 mins from the hotel. The hotel offers peace and quiet and our room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was included and good, Omelette chef is fantastic. Overall great value for money.

Good location and nice clean hotel. The rooms do lean to the smaller side, so not really large spacious rooms. Staff is very helpful and the breakfast is great. Parking? I do think that the valet parking cost of $37.00 per day is over the top. Should not be that high.

Everyone was there to make our stay enjoyable and it was. Breakfast was delicious. Coffee was awesome. Juice was fresh as well as the pastries. All the breakfast foods were delicious. Our room was adequate in size. Bed was very comfortable and the pillows were the best I ever placed my head on. The bathroom water was hot almost instantly.

The room was clean and served its purpose. The bed was comfortable and got a good night's sleep. All the staff did their job as they should. I was happy with my stay. Note to people staying there. When you arrive just park in the front. Take ALL your belongings. Parking is off site so you wont have access to get anything from your car. Price for valet $37 a night with in and out access. They will give you a ticket to call for your car if and when its needed. Just allow 20 to 30 to have them get it to you.

The team is profesionnal and very kind. We were very well served.have seen better for the breakfast but it was ok. We were there in the “coronavirus crisis”period . I saw employee wearing gloves cleaning the hall and the eating room.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights with our dog. It was our first time in New Orleans, and we were so happy with this hotel! The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location and price were excellent. We were a little disappointed that, for a pet-friendly hotel, there wasn't actually anywhere on the property for dogs (there is a small, gated, dirty mulch area just down the street for them in front of the Sheraton). But it worked out okay. For parking, we opted to used a nearby lot instead of the hotel's valet service.

I stayed at this hotel 3/6-3/9. All of the encountered staff were absolutely amazing. The rooms are a nice size, up to date and very clean. The breakfast was very good. I will definitely stay at this location again.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good with many options. Hotel had lots of character, room was clean and quaint. Valet parking is the only option for parking and it is high...but expected. Hotel was in a great location, walking distance to basically everywhere you may want to go

Monique, Rhea, Genevive made our stay like a home away from home. most have been very warm. forgive me for not remembering the others names but the guy at the omelette station, the lady at security at night, all have made our stay really good. the rooms were clean. the amenities in the rooms were great. the breakfast was superb. they have one of the best breakfast available in hotels. Stopped by hotel at noon and asked for early check in. Came back at 230. We were the only ones in the lobby and waited for 90 minutes to have a room ready while 20+ others checked in. At exactly 4pm the staff found a room for us...I guess they couldn't comprehend having a room prepped for someone that was actually on property and waiting.

The room and hotel is perfect! I really enjoyed the staff. They made sure everything was up to par each day. The breakfast was really great, and they offered city tours.'I would definitely recommend this hotel and come back and stay

Great location. Wonderful hot breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Each time I stay here the room gets smaller but it's okay because we don't spend a lot of time in the room. It would be cramped if we did.

I've stayed many areas in NOLA and always love the area where this hotel is. Easy access to River Walk, Casino area and French Quarter. Check in and out pleasant. Valet was great, got my car in less than 6 minutes when leaving. The room was clean and really nice.

From check in to check out, staff helpful, friendly! Even changed us from a room with no view to a room with a view, without a hassle and over text, didn't even have to be there. Manager text to see how we were doing and how our stay was, that was cool. Rooms were clean, with enough room and no carpets! Location was awesome, the parades passed so closed to the hotel! Also appreciated the security they had during Mardi Gras time! Will recommend and will stay there again!

The staff was fantastic from Timothy Allen who so nicely and professionally checked me in. I also was assisted by Keduin Molina with the business center. Just everyone at every level was so friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly clean and contemporary. All in all, I was so impressed.

I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and was underwhelmed--the service was not very good (they lost my reservation and were not very helpful in sorting it out), and the breakfast was so-so. This year I decided to try the St. Christopher again, just to save money. I'm glad I tried the St. Christopher again; I will definitely stay here again. Check-in was quick and easy, with none of the attitude of the last time. The valet parking was quick and efficient and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent (if you get the custom-made omelettes, leave a tip), the rooms in much better condition, and the location is hard to beat. Everyone who worked there treated us well. The security is good, the clerks and cleaning staff are great. Overall, they've more than redeemed themselves.

This hotel is great. Nice and very clean room. Hotel is accessible to everything!!! Checking in was easy and convenient. Very affordable. Staff is nice especially Nimfa and Rhea who are so accommodating and always ready with a smile.

It was a nice hotel and very conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. Only 2 blocks from the French Quarter, only about 9 blocks from the WWII museum and very close to other sites too. The hotel offers a free breakfast which I felt was very good. More that just cereal and rolls, they offer an omelet station, scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit....it was very good. It was a good stay and I would stay again. Just so everyone knows, they do have a few rooms that don't have a window to outside....I had one and really didn't care for it, so if that's an issue for you, ask for a room with a window. Also, they have a great staff!

We stopped in for 3 nights having never been to NOLA. Great quiet location that is 10 min or less walk to French quarter. What a good breakfast and omlets to order?! Why yes! Clean rooms and did I mention quiet? Friendly, attentive staff. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time. The hotel looks more like a boutique hotel, but it has all that one would need for a great stay. It is 7 minutes walking distance from the FQ and off Canal st. Making it quiet. The breakfast is Great! More than we expected. Location was perfect: st. Charles streetcar, canal st. FQ, and many attractions. The room had character and was well maintained! Would definatelly stay there again.

We arrived at the hotel and our car was immediately taken care of which is a huge deal in New Orleans. Parking is difficult to find and the hotel offers valet parking in a secure lot. The location was great. Harrah's casino 2 blocks away. Gift shop and convenience stores 1/2 block away. This is a very safe area, also a big deal! The French Quarter is within walking distance. The street car is 1 block away. Highly recommend this hotel. The price...fantastic! Also a very quiet place to stay.

Elegant Hotel top to bottom. Wonderful staff, smiling, courteous, friendly and FUN. Gave us easy to understand directions to a local location that was within walking distance of the Hotel. We will make this our Hotel preference any time we are in New Orleans

We traveled to New Orleans for a girls trip/birthday celebration with 11 girls, I couldn't have picked a better spot!! I was very nervous about being in charge of all the planning and no one had a single complaint that I'm aware of, the AC wasn't working great in one room but I replied to a text from the hotel checking on us and by the time we returned that evening it had been taken care of. You are just a very short walk to Bourbon Street and Decatur, there is a convenience store on the corner and a Starbucks in the Sheraton which was perfect! The breakfast is perfect when you have a group, lots of choices to keep everyone happy!! If I ever make it back, this will be my forever spot!

This hotel is a decent value for the location. It's a few blocks from the French Quarter so you have the benefit of being close to most of the most popular sights there, without being right in the middle of the chaos. This was our first time visiting New Orleans and this hotel was well-placed to allow us to walk to everything -- the WWII Museum (MUST SEE), Lafayette Square, riverboat cruises, Harrah's Casino, Jackson Square, Frenchmen St., etc. The free breakfast was okay in a pinch, but in a city like this there are so many better options close by. We ended up walking 10 minutes up the street to the Auction House Market most mornings for many delicious options. Overall there is nothing super-special about this hotel but we'd probably stay here again if the price was right!

I am a fan of Best Western hotels and usually stay at one when traveling. However, I'm sad to report that this property was a huge disappointment. The location is great. The restored historical building that houses the hotel is beautiful. The complimentary breakfast is good. However, the noise in this hotel is terrible and unrelenting. My husband and I were robbed of sleep each of the three nights we stayed there. The noise is not so much guest-type noise, although there was plenty of that. It seemed to be more along the lines of mechanical or equipment noise from within the hotel structure. A loud boom would occur at regular intervals during the day and night along with banging and what sounded like something being dragged over a rough surface. We were abruptly awakened one night (after finally falling asleep) to what sounded like a huge drill boring through concrete! We were moved to a different room, and the noise there was even worse!!! There were other annoyances, such as the sink not draining, uncomfortable pillows, and staff that was borderline rude, but those paled in comparison to the noise problem. Unless you are an extremely heavy sleeper, don't stay here.

Was a good spot, walking distance to most places we wanted to go. Rooms were cute and clean but had a lot of chips in the dry wall and we never had anyone come to clean or bring more towels and toiletries on our 5 day visit except when we stopped at the front desk. Breakfast was good.

It is a nice hotel just outside the party district it's easy to escape to a quiet place It is close to the WW2 museum, the Aquarium, the Insectarium and Adventures in New Orleans bus tour. It has historic significance to the city also.

Front desk staff was great. Please acknowledge Timothy for his excellent service. As the public face of the hotel, he made us feel welcome and taken care of. The included breakfast and made to order omelette bar was a nice touch. Make sure to ask for an upper floor room with a window, view of the river was great!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The location was excellent... about as close to the French Quarter as you can get without actually being in the French Quarter. The room was affordable. The breakfast was quite good. My only complaint was the heating unit in our room was loud. I had to keep turning the TV volume up and down based on whether the heating unit was running or not.

Overall the experience was good. I was disappointed that no free parking was available but this is New Orleans. I was looking for a clean comfortable bed to lay down on and comfortable pillows. The bed was fine however those lumpy pillows were uncomfortable.

The location just off of Canal St was perfect, as it was 1 block from the action but still quiet. Breakfast was a great way to fill up and save money so we could stretch our food bill on those terrific New Orleans' lunches and dinners. It was hot and even included made-to-order omelets. If you do want to venture out, they are across the street from the Ruby Slipper and down the block from Mothers, both of which always had lines out the door. The hotel is located on Magazine St, which becomes Decatur when you cross Canal and enter the French Quarter. That is the street Jackson Square and Cafe Du Monde are located on. Street cars are close, Bourbon Street is close, it was a perfect choice for us.

We were only in town for one night for the National Championship. We were allowed to check into our rooms early which was very convenient. The valet parking garage was full but we were directed to another parking garage that was fairly close walk. We asked a couple of questions at front desk and received courtesy answers. Rooms were very nice and clean.

Our first time in NOLO and we were so glad we chose this Hotel, close enough to walk to the historic area and Mississippi but far enough away from the nightlife. Its right near the trolley stop so getting back after a night in Frenchmans Street is cheap, safe and easy. The Hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable with 2 chairs, so many hotels only have 1 chair to sit on, so that is a real bonus at the end of a long days sightseeing. The fridge in the room is very useful, rooms also had coffee making. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff in the breakfast area are particularly good, I wish I could remember their names, the lady was constantly checking the cereals/milk etc were full and tables tidy, she was always wiping tables for the next guests and the gentleman cooking the (deliscious) omletes always greeted us and remembered what we had ordered the previous day. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone, and will seek out Best Western Plus on future trips.

Was in for the Nstional Championship game and the staff made checking in easy on us. Definitely appreciated after fighting game traffic all morning driving in plus traffic around the area while trying to find a parking garage available. Staff called when room was ready which was a little earlier than regular check in which helped us get to the game well before kickoff. Highly recommend the hotel.

We loved our stay here - very accommodating, clean, great breakfast, super staff. The motel is literally a half block off French Quarter and so easy to hop on the cable car to visit other parts of the city. Would recommend this to everyone!

The location is great. Across the street from the French quarters. Close walking distance to the aquarium, warehouse district, and easy bus/ streetcar route to garden district and zoo. Had an issue with the shower head not secured properly and they were quick to fix it. There was another issue with the hot water not being hot enough but it was bearable. Free breakfast was a good feature.

Perfect location - close to French Quarter, Canal St & Boubon St.. Nice updated spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Nice complimentary breakfast with omelette bar and waffles. This was definitely a bargain at $100/night for 2 dbl beds.

Valet parking. Smaller and friendlier than some of the enormous hotels in the area. Great location for visiting the French Quarter! Recently renovated - our room was modern and nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast area is pretty small and crowded, but everyone seemed to get along just fine!(You are in New Orleans!)

Great hotel right off Canal St. Room is. Ice new and clean. The breakfast was great. They even had an omelet bar! Staff is nice and you cannot beat the location. Thanks for the nice stay. This is the second time we have stayed there.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Car valet service was prompt. Breakfast was good - especially enjoyed the made-to-order omelets! And the location can't be beat. Only inconvenience: our room was really warm and, although we lowered the thermostat, it never really cooled off - we would have appreciated being able to cool it to a more comfortable sleeping temperature.

My family stayed 5 nights at the St. Christopher for New Years. The location was perfect! We could get to most anywhere in the city by foot or streetcar. The room was nice and clean; the staff was friendly and the breakfast was great! My only complaint is regarding the valet service. We left the hotel 3 times and texted for our car each time as instructed. Only once was our vehicle there on time. The other times, we waited upwards of an additional 20 minutes for our car to arrive. Incredibly frustrating, especially when you see on a schedule. All in all, a great visit and would recommend it.

We went with our friends . Rooms were toooo small for a Family of 4. ( 2 adults and 2 kids). First time I stayed in a hotel with NO WINDOW!!!! So no sunlight. Horrible!!! There was barely any slave to keep your bag . I would give 1 Star to room. Breakfast was awesome . People working there made the stay 5 Stars. Very hospitable staff!!!

This is a good location and value, which I have used before with no problems. However, this last trip was terrible with housekeeping supplies and service. We had to call 3 times to get our room done before 5:00 pm answered never refilled shower and soap supplies. The mattress was painful.

We love going to new orleans. This was our fourth trip this year there. We have stayed in many hotels, this one has been the best overall so far. Great location, rooms, and friendly staff. We will try to stay here whenever we can when we visit new orleans

Me and my wife stayed here the night before our cruise. It was a decently priced room and we were very close to the places we wanted to see such as bourbon street and the french quarter. We were even walking distance to the cruise terminal. The staff was nice and the breakfast was great!

I was waken up by the guest next door in the morning, who slammed the door and talked on the phone for a while. I was kept awake because room service staff started talking next door for a fairly long time until I can't stand. I had to go out in my pajamas to tell them to keep it down. Really bad experience since I didn't have a good night sleep. Beds aren't comfy neither.

We originally booked at another hotel only to get there and we have no reservations. So begins the hunt for a new one. We found this hotel and went right in and was given a room in no time. Great staff, great place. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and couldn't fault the place. It was close to all the places we wanted to visit. The building itself is wonderful with lots of historic details left to show it's past. The room was clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The staff were extremely friendly and we had no issues - perfect stay in a great location.

The hotel is ideally located just around the corner of Canal Street and opposite the French quarter. next to it is a quiet area with not all too many restaurants and bars, but the fun is close by. Just as the main central congress hotels. And it is just over a quarter walking to the Super Dome. So the hotel serves to all types of visitors. The reception can be a bit slow but rest of the service is perfect. I had an issue with the bath tube and the technician was available in a minute and mended the issue in a couple of minutes. Also good cleaning service as well as at the breakfast where you have a daily cook for special eggs and service. The room I had was sufficiently spacious and the beds and desk where okay. Bath tube with spray that worked well though the water itself was not all that warm (kind of protection). I had an inside room with no windows which had an extremely decent price but you don't need it for the view as the hotel is surrounded by larger structures. Decoration in the hotel is minimal and the general outlook is not special. If you need a decent hotel at a reasonable price near the touristic spots, the St Christopher is a good choice.

Rooms are great. Very clean. No marks on walls. Tile floor in room so no carpet stains. Breakfast is great with made to order omelet bar. We ate there every morning. Short block to Canal Street and not far to anything. We walked everywhere as the trolleys weren't running full routes because of the collapse at Hard Rock construction area.

I enjoy my stay at the best western . The staff is professional and attentive and hotel is comfortable and exceptional beautiful and designed. The St. Christopher is conveniently located close to all downtown New Orleans has to offer.

From the Front Desk lady who checked us in to Ms. Lillian who tidied up our room, our treatment was excellent. The room was well appointed, clean and fresh. All staff we encountered were helpful and friendly.

The whole entire trip was awesome except for the outcome of the game but the hotel is an overall was really exceptional staff from through and through were great. Front Desk and Valet parking staff were very helpful.

I enjoyed the hotel first because of the security. There was a guard at the front lobby area. Small rooms,but every room I have stayed in in New Orleans has been small. Breakfast was good, omelet cook on the weekends. Attendants keeping all full. We did stay the weekend after Thaksgiving. I would not reccommend this. It's the college bowl at the superdome. Crazy around the city.

This hotel is just a stone's throw from Canal Street and the French Quarter and a short walk to the National WWll Museum and River. We stayed for six nights over Thanksgiving. Breakfast was good and the mother/daughter who take care of breakfast were very friendly. You can get tea and coffee in the lobby at any time. Our room was on the Magazine Street side and there was some noise from Canal Street - sirens, revving cars. The beds were comfortable and the wifi was good. Good value for money. The Reception staff were nice.

Was traveling alone headed to Florida from Oregon and was tired from driving through Texas! Could not have been a better place. My room was excellent, location was prime and all the employees were so nice even though they were working on thanksgiving. Stay here!! Wonderful!

Nice hotel, clean, great location. Toilet broke on first night, had to be moved to another room, staff are not as polished as we are used to. Takes them a few tries to get things right. Room was not inspected for things like TV not working and broken rack, had to call to get these addressed. Maintenance went into our room when we were out without our knowledge. I complained and got a partial refund. Overall however, the value is there since the facility is nice, location is great, and the staff were friendly.

Stayed at hotel for 4 nights just before Thanksgiving. Everything about hotel was fully satisfactory: Room, Staff, Location, Price, and Free Breakfast. Staff also provide help in correcting an error caused by the 3rd party booking site that I used -- even though it was not the hotel's fault. Will use hotel in future.

The room was hot, but it could have been me because I'm usually the one in the party with the heat complaints. The facility is very clean with no carpets. Excellent for the allergies! Staff was very friendly and courteous. The business center is easily accessible and a big plus was having the WiFi info and passwords for the business center on the room key sleeve. The lady security guard is adorable. Free breakfast. I love the omelette chef-that was nice. Great breakfast choices to say that it's free and I went down toward the end of the breakfast time frame. Everything was kept clean and fresh. At checkout it was really busy and the staff was still really sweet and showed no signs of frustration, and I know the hotel was at capacity because our friend got the very last room. I would recommend this place to anyone. The location is good too. Not too far from the river walk, Canal Street, French Market, and several eateries are close by (walking distance).

We arrived 3am after an unpleasant hospital visit. The night desk apologized for selection of rooms available, we were grateful for a bed. As I had to work a few days, he advised to check back for a room switch. We were moved from Rm 301 with a brick wall view to Rm 702 with a view of Harrah's and the Mississippi River in the distance. Coming from MI we really appreciated the window and sunshine! Rhea cooked up a fresh breakfast everyday. There were eggs and sausage, fruit and pastries, pancakes, yogurt and cereal. She advised she receives complaints about selection but the food was fresh for complimentary breakfast. Beds were comfortable.

The Best Western Plus St. Christopher Hotel (a refurbished dry goods building) is located in walking distance of all the attractions and action. The hotel is clean, the staff are very caring and friendly, breakfast was great (loved the omelets), the room was small, clean, and adequate, and I will return there.

Great stay! This hotel covers it all. Great service at the front desk. The room was lovely with slippers and robe provided in the room. No carpet which made it super clean. Breakfast was fabulous with everything you could want from omelettes to pancakes! Fresh lemon water in the reception area and fresh baked cookies at cocktail hour. Great value for the cost of our stay!

Our stay at the Best Western St Christopher was very good starting with the personnel at the front desk. The room was clean and very comfortable and the wifi was also good. The location was excellent we were in walking distance to the French Quarter and the waterfront, there were many good restaurants within a block of the hotel

We enjoyed our stay, as did our dog! 2 blocks or so up Canal St. to Bourbon St. a short pedi-cab ride home if walking becomes difficult! Can't imagine a better choice if you want to be right close to the action without the noise and crazy. One thing we were surprised with was the $27 charge for parking (valet). It seems there are no cheaper options...

Booked this hotel for the proximity to the House of Blues for a concert we were attending. I was just looking for closest hotel because we had very limited time. I will definetly stay here next time-as I loved everything about the property. The rooms were quaint with a great view, food was great, check-in was speedy-LOCATION.LOCATION.LOCATION. I come to New Orleans often and had never heard of this gem-very impressed.

Nice hotel, excellent desk personnel service, NO hotel parking lot. If you plan to drive, be prepared to pay expensive parking fees. I would recommend that if you plan to stay at this hotel, take airport transportation, use taxis and walk. You will regret having a car with you. The downtown area has no parking spaces.

Hotel is ideally located. Room is comfortable and decorated well. Has parking, breakfast and a cocktail hour. Across the street a great bloody mary at The Ruby Slipper. Within walking distance to the Superdome.

Forced to use Valet parking for $37 per night due to parking not available on hotel property. Forced to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes average to receive vehicle from Valet parking. Hotel guest room had no windows. Bath tub backup when taking a shower. Hotel would not refund $210 for room and $37 for parking after checking out a day earlier because of the terrible Customer Service.

This hotel is in a great location. Just outside of busy and noisy French Quarter. Super convenient to everything! Room wasn't huge but ample enough for a king bed, dresser, desk and wardrobe. Big bathroom. But the best part was breakfast! Awesome spread and the BEST service. Highly recommend.

Really nice hotel in a perfect central location. French Quarter literally across the street. We went to a concert at the Fillmore on Canal Street and it was about a 5 minute walk. Room was very nice with a refrigerator, coffee maker etc. Not large but comfortable. Nice breakfast in the morning with eggs and sausage the other usual items. Coffee, tea and cold water available all day in the lobby area which we liked. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Rhea and her mom were always a ray of sunshine every morning at the breakfast bar and the service incredible!! Hotel staff's attention to detail and friendly, helpful atmosphere were the norm, Highly recommended.

We loved this hotel, it was beautiful, our view was great and the room was just what we needed. The bed was comfortable, plenty of room and the continental breakfast had a lot of options and it was yummy. The location was a straight walk to the french quarter and we were able to get a peddle bike guy.

This was our first time inn New Orleans, The location was excellent walkable to Boubon Street and into the French Quarter and near the River. But what was special was helpfullness of the staff, the reception helped with advice maps etc and the Breakfast was much better than expected with good choice and helpful staff - Rhea, Nimfa & Derek deserve a mention. Room great.

Nice king bed with a good sized bathroom. Close to everything but also quiet with a very nice breakfast included. Nice front staff and cleaning staff. It was our first trip to NOLA and we found the staff helpful.

We loved the custom made pancakes with the blueberries, strawberries, bananas, and mini chocolate chips. Location was great, we walked to most of the places we visited. We would have enjoyed a hot tub after a full day of site seeing.

This was our second time to New Orleans and second time to St. Christopher hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was always courteous and polite!! They accommodated our room request too which we appreciated! We found the beds firm (not hard) and slept very comfortably ~ we usually wake up with back issues but not here. The breakfast was decent and the staff there were courteous & very helpful! The front desk staff were always helpful and kind! This is a hidden gem in the Central Business District on Canal and Magazine directly across from the French Quarter, 5 minutes to Harrah's Casino and close to the Cable Cars to head to the Garden District. The time of year that we go is a little pricier but overall not as high as other hotels. They serve fresh baked cookies each afternoon too if you are there at that time. We also like the feel of the rooms with the brick walls for more of the NOLA effect!! If you want to visit the French Quarter without all the noise that goes with it, then this is a great location!!

Good hotel just at Canal street so the location is fantastic. A little bit dated and queen beds are not suitable for two persons. Breakfast just ok. Limited offer but sufficient to start the day. Very, but very, expensive.

We loved the location and really disliked how firm the beds were! The property and our room was well appointed, clean and in good repair. Conveniently located within easy walking distance to Harrah's and the French Quarter. There was a 15 minute delay on arrival to figure out the valet parking, but it was a busy time and all subsequent uses of the valet service were prompt. Our chief complaint was that the bed was incredibly hard, and I actually prefer a firm bed. I asked for options but there was no fixing this issue, so be warned if a super hard bed isn't your thing. Apart from that the toilet rocked a bit but was fully operational. Overall - apart from stiff necks and backs from the very firm bed - our stay was pleasant and we would recommend the hotel.

So just off of Canal is this little gem of a hotel. The valet service was friendly and fast. Walk through the entrance and notice the cool vibe this place has going on. The room decor didn't dissappoint - loved the exposed brick and the view! The rooms were quiet and we slept great! Samuel at the front desk texted us to be sure we had everything we needed. A very nice touch! Don't forget to grab a fresh baked and still warm cookie (or two)every afternoon!

I had a great stay!! Great service and location. I loved my room the only thing was it didn't have a window, but it have lots of lights so I didn't feel closed in. I didn't get up early enough for the free breakfast lol!!! But am sure it would've been great. It was a nice surprise to received a text message asking if my room was satisfactory and if I needed anything. This will be my hotel whenever I visit New Orleans in the future. Ps. Timothy and the Bartender were absolutely amazing!!!

One of the best values in New Orleans. Great location and great hotel. ATM right outside, quick mart on the corner, and canal half a block away. The hotel is clean and the staff are very professional.

The BW Plus St Cristopher was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were remodeled recently and are very clean. Location is excellent and staff was nice and friendly. Would have given it 5 stars had the breakfast room and lobby been larger and the gym better equipped.

The entire experience I had here was excellent. Mostly because the staff is super friendly and responsive. The rooms are spotless and really pretty. I love the coziness of the hotel in such a bustling, centrally located area of New Orleans. The breakfasts were delicious and hot with lots of variety. i highly recommend.

Paid extra for a room with a window and the view I recieved was the next doors brick wall.. when booking be specific on a room with a view ect.. staff was friendly.. breakfast staff was excellent!! They went beyond to make all guest feel welcome

Make sure you get some of that home cooked bacon and sausage at the morning breakfast! It is excellent, as was the hotel! The rooms are tiny, but elegantly appropriated, the natural brick, of the building gave the room a very authentic feel and the staff was great!

The room was nicely decorated and had great space. The bed and air con meant I slept very well. A highlight was the friendly staff. Breakfast was the standard continental and tasty enough - but I was not keen on all the disposable plastics!

Hotel was clean and very convenient to the French Quarter. Easy to get around on foot. Valet parking sorta pricey but made loading and unloading easy. I'd stay there again next time I get back to New Orleans.

Everyone was beyond friendly. The hotel is in a fantastic location. You couldn't hear anyone noises through the walls! Breakfast is delicious. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to New Orleans no matter the occasion or type of environment you choose to partake in. Not a lot of street noise at night either considering the high volume of the city.

I've stayed here four years in a row with my group as part of our Spring tour. We have between 6 and 8 rooms each year. Everyone has been pleased with their stay. Location is perfect - close to everything but not so close that it's annoying. Clean, well decorated. Free breakfast. And, great price for what you get!

Nicely renovated, good breakfast selections, and great location to experience New Orleans culture. Area provided convenience options for shopping, transportation and various dining choices. Valet parking available but might want to try public parking options.

Although the valet parking and room readiness at check in were delayed, the hotel was very nice. Our room was a bit small but had all we needed for a sight seeing tour of the city, The location is feet from French Quarter in a safe environment. We stayed at the St Christopher Hotel for a wedding. Room was very nice. Brick walls added a special touch. Free breakfast was great. Rhea Nimfa and her mom made sure we had enough to eat and did a great job making the hot eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes. The entire staff of the hotel was friendly and helpful.

The St. Christopher Inn is in a perfect location that is across Canal St. from the edge of the French Quarter. We felt so fortunate to be staying there and not in the midst of the French Quarter's busy and loud crowds. The room we had was a little smaller than I had expected, but it was very comfortable and we loved the look and feel of the exposed brick walls as well as the cleanliness of the hotel and our room. We also appreciated the history of the building itself. The breakfast was more than sufficient in the mornings with hot eggs and breakfast meats as well as assorted cereals, breads, bagels and muffins and plenty of coffee and juice choices. The best part of the St. Christopher Inn was the very professional and very friendly staff. The servers at breakfast, the front desk staff, the housekeepers and bell clerks were all great. I'm going to give a special shout out to "G" at the front desk! My husband and I had an amazing conversation with him when we came back in late one night. He truly represents the hospitality of the St. Christopher Inn and is a real ambassador for the City of New Orleans. I highly recommend any traveler stay here. It's a brand name Best Western hotel with a boutique feel.

Nice clean rooms, great breakfast, and great helpful courteous staff. Rooms could use a microwave. Nice and close to the French Quarter, Riverwalk shopping, and Harrah's casino. The trolleys on Canal Street are only a half block away

Hotel is situated in a good location, within walking distance to the convention center, touristy area and convenience stores. Our hotel room was decent in size. Clean and comfy rooms. Just some faulty toilet flush. Breakfast was nice and good variety. Free coffee 24/7 was a delight! Staff were exceptionally helpful, warm and genuinely caring, particularly Keano of reception and Rhea and Nimfa of the restaurant. Definitely had a memorable stay. Great value for money!

Love the location! It's in the heart of downtown New Orleans. It's in walking distance of Bourbon Street, cool shops and restaurants without being too noisy. The hotel staff was terrific including the front desk guy, Keano! He was very helpful and kind. If his boss is reading this, he deserves a BIG RAISE! Staff members, Daffne and Danielle were also really awesome because they helped me surprise my wife with a birthday card, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in our room for her birthday. Thanks for being awesome! The hotel is safe and looks lovely. It has a vintage style to it. I definitely recommend Best Western Plus St. Christopher Hotel!

Great hotel. Walking distance to locations in French Quarter and to the casino. Breakfast was good and a bonus. Helpful front desk in giving recommendations for tours and restaurants and locations of where certain shops and historical places were located.

My colleague and I stayed here for a conference hosted next door at the Sheraton, and found the St. Charles to be a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of the conference hotel. My room was clean, comfortable (with powerful, reliable AC!), and the staff was positively wonderful. Close to all the activity in the French Quarter, but far enough off the main drag to be quiet at night (my room was on the fourth floor). Highly recommended!

Very clean, safe, and quiet. Let them park your car because everything is within walking distance. The UV light that I use is good quality and I check all places that we stay, this place is exceptionally clean. The staff is friendly and attentive to our needs. We will stay here again next time.

We stayed at St Christopher for three nights and truly felt right at home. Samuel at the front desk welcomed us warmly upon arrival and became like a friend by the time we left. Derick and Nimfa made sure we enjoyed a delicious and satisfying hot breakfast each morning. They took good care of us with smiles and a joke to go along with the food. The popcorn and homemade cookies were a nice touch each evening and housekeeping did an excellent job preparing the room and keeping it nice for us. Finally, the valets were professional and friendly. My husband and I would highly recommend this wonderful establishment!

The hotel met my number one requirement: cleanliness. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. I travel constantly and I highly appreciate a welcoming hardworking staff. I was welcomed with smiles from Timothy and Keano, the front desk staff. The check in process was smooth and fast. Throughout my stay Keano and Timothy were extremely helpful.The location of the hotel is perfect as it is close to major attractions and it's all in walking distance. Walk a short block and you are in the heart of the French Quarter. Every day in the evening they put out fresh baked cookies and some days fresh hot popcorn. They had me at cookies. The staff who served breakfast kept everything stocked were also very friendly. I also observed the care in which the guys who handled the luggage treated guests.They were personable and friendly towards the guests. I was so comfortable I stayed a fifth night. It is very obvious that the entire staff is well trained in customer service. My favorite feature in the rooms were the nested desk feature. With a lot of paperwork to do the nested desks were a lifesaver. The smaller of the nested desk pulled out on rollers. Although there was a very comfortable desk chair in the room, I took pleasure in the fact that I could move the smaller desk over to the bed and work in extra comfort.Overall I give the hotel a 5 out of 5. I look forward to staying here on my return to New Orleans.

The location is great, the bellmen do a great job. It's exactly what you come to expect from a Best Western plus… the location is walking distance to everything charming about New Orleans. It's my home whenever I go there now.....Dominic from maintenance is always a great conversation.

Fabulous hotel. Clean, friendly staff & pet friendly. Reasonably priced for the area. The breakfast was very good. There is only valet parking for $37 a night, but you can call for your car at any hour. Considering the parking prices for the area, that is a deal. But you really don't need your car as everything fun is within walking distance & if out, get a $3 streetcar pass for rides all over the city good for 24 hours. For your dogs, have to walk across the street to the Sheraton relief area but that is no problem. Highly recommend.

He was readily available to answer any questions and/concerns we may have had. There was a bit of confusion regarding my reservation, but he made no hesitation to rectify the situation. He also made sure to follow up with us to confirm that we were getting settled well and that our room met our needs. Thanks to Timothy, check in went smoothly as did the rest of our stay at the Best Western St. Christopher.

The place was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was satisfactory. I would have liked a better verity from day to day. Watery scrambled eggs three days in a row or hard boiled eggs with sausage was the only protein options. May I suggest omelets and maybe bacon on the menu? Being an older building the A/C never turned off in our room. The fan or compressor was going the whole time. We just go used to the white noise in the room. If you are someone with a hearing issue or sensitivity, you may want to ask before booking a room.

The staff is super friendly and the hotel is located in the heart of New Orleans with the French Quarter only a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast is included and the breakfast staff particularly Ninfa and Rea went above and beyond to make sure that we had what we needed for a great breakfast. The valet, Dennis, was super polite and he even made reccomendations of where to visit and what to eat. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who visits New Orleans.

This hotel really strives for Five Stars and I would have loved to have given it to them, but there were problems that kept occurring in our room that, unfortunately, I could not. The hotel is in an EXCELLENT location! It is surrounded by restaurants, shopping, including Canal Shops and Riverwalk, the Hop Hop Off bus stop is a block away, and the French Quarter is about a 15-minute walk. We found ourselves walking everywhere and barely used the HOHO bus tickets that we purchased. The hotel, upon walking in, is beautifully decorated and staff is friendly and eager to please. During the evenings, there is security on premises, although we never felt threatened, even when we walked around at night. Breakfast was just okay, but good enough to start your day. Scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage were the main hot foods, which were constantly replenished as they emptied. Pancake machine made rubbery pancakes. The yogurt machine was nice with fresh fruit and granola to accompany it. There were also 3 choices for cereal, pastries to choose from, and mixed fruit as well as fresh. I just wish they would have alternative milks (almond, soy, coconut), for those of us with special diets or allergies. There is a business center on the Second Floor, which we did not use. As for the room, and this is where they lost the star...we happened to be put in a problem room. Upon arriving our first night, the latch for the sink drain was broken and would not drain out. The safe in the room was locked and had to be opened. The conditioner container in the shower was empty and had to call for it to be filled. The toilet was clogged and had to be plunged. I have to say, though, kudos to the staff for quickly responding to fix the problems. Even when we were not in the room and we had maintenance come, they left us a nice card and a piece of chocolate made out of tools to tell us they fixed the problem. As for the room, it is a nice size and beautifully decorated as well with modern touches. Plenty of outlets for charging. There is a desk and chair, a side chair next to the bed, refrigerator and coffee maker as well. The beds are comfortable, but the pillows SUCK! They are shorter than the average pillow and I found them very difficult to sleep on. The walls are thin as we heard outside noise as well as our neighbor's conversations. Lighting at night in the room was also poor. There is no light in the area where the closet/fridge are. There is a full-length mirror there as well, which is nice, but also useless if you can't see anything. The sink area has no counterspace, but there is room under the sink and along the window. Shower pressure is very low. I did like the toiletries they provided (soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash) as they have a nice lemon/lime scent. Although we did encounter some problems, I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND staying here. The location is GREAT and the staff GREAT as well. Maybe next time I can give them 5 stars! We are road tripping around the US, we only book the afternoon before each stay. We are so impressed with this hotel, excellent service, clean rooms, quiet & still walking distance to all the happening places of the French Quarter. Breakfast was sensational. Could not recommend this place more highly.

My daughter and I visited New Orleans for a graduation trip. We loved our stay. Ariel, Timothy and Caroline were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here. It was so nice to have breakfast before going out sightseeing. Location was perfect.

Booked this hotel for our honeymoon, the location was perfect, close to the trolley access to a variety of restaurants and other attractions. From the moment we checked in until the time we checked out all of the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant I have no complaints. The room super clean, the continental breakfast was very satisfying and Rhea and her mother manned that area very well. I will definitely stay there again. Kudos to everyone at the front desk.

Reccommended because they have good service, room silent during the night, good breakfast, good WiFi connection. The hotel is located near the most important part of the city so It isn't necessary to use the car.

Hotel was so nice and close to everything! The room was nice and clean except for the glass of water that was left in the fridge from previous guest. Also thought it was strange that as I was about to unlock my room a staff member was walking out. She said she had to put extra towels in the room but there was no cart in front of the room. Just thought it was strange buf nothing was off in the room. I will be coming back!

The room was clean and the employees were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, there was a problem with valet parking ($40/day which was paid at the time of check-in). I guess someone didn't show up for work and there was no one willing to park/retrieve the cars. I had to wait over an hour to get the service I paid for.

Awesome hotel! Perfect location! Clean, very clean. Room was kind of small and bed was small is really the ONLY negative thing but I was unbothered. Breakfast was enough to get your stomach where it needed to be. All the staff was friendly and helpful. And I just can't stop saying CLEAN! Enjoyed my stay in NOLA and I'd definitely stay here again

My husband & I stayed here for a weekend birthday getaway & enjoyed it. Location was a good "middle" for everything you want to see & do while in Nola. This was our 5th trip to New Orleans & in the past, we've stayed at hotels on Bourbon & Royal Streets & this one by far was the best. We will definitely stay again. The hotel was within a few blocks from Harrah's, the river, shopping, restaurants, bars & of course Bourbon st. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The room was nice, clean, quite & comfy. It wasn't a "big" room but just enough space for what you need it for while in Nola (we had a king room/2 people).

The clerks were friendly & assisted in planning our day.They ordered our transportation for the evening. The room was well supplied and clean. The continental breakfast was great & the servers were fantastic.

The rooms are very small, even the room with the king size bed. The rooms are very nice and clean. The do include a breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes...not much of a breakfast but something). The staff is great and very helpful. Great location and trolley stop about 100 yards away. Very safe even walking alone at night. New Orleans is not the cleanest city to visit, but never the less it's fun. Honestly, the downside of New Orleans is there is NOT much to do during the daytime. If I have to do again, I would do 2 nights and 3 days.

This is a nice hotel in a great location and a pretty good value. I say this despite the fact that I had the misfortune to have had my car flooded while in valet parking. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is pretty good, and the staff works to assist guests. The location puts you right across the street from the FQ just up from the river. Just about everything in town is within walking or short cab ride distance. Not sure what I can say about the valet parking situation....it did not work out for me. I generally self park in NO and decided to "play it safe" this time and have the valet take care of it so my two bikes would not get vandalized. Wish I had done it this time. Short story, they parked in the basement of a garage, it rained hard, it flooded, they did not remove it...its still there waiting for the insurance adjuster, I am back home. The hotel was very accommodating....extending our stay, advocating with the valet company. I would stay at the St. Christopher again and would recommend it if you do not need parking. I will be doing self park next time.

you can same a lot of money by choosing a location about a 2 minute walk off the french quarter. we did go in by 11 pm every weekday night and sure you pass some pan handlers, but we never felt unsafe. we figured that it was about 5 dollars more a night then an air bnb and we felt it was worth knowing that the room would be clean and safe

I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were clean and the staff was great; also a great breakfast to start your day. This hotel is in a very nice location and within walking distance of everything; also close to public transportation.

Make sure you know where your vehicle is parked and ensure to get it prior to any rain your chances of your vehicle getting flooded are very high. You'll also get insufficient answers from the staffs of your vehicle.

Location was great, Near the French Quarters, restaurants , convention center and shopping center! Great location! The hotel was modern and room very cozy! They also offered breakfast, juice and coffee.

This hotel is small but it is a decent place It is in a great location, there was no queen size beds. The breakfast was vey good and the staff was very nice and professional. All guest has to where a wrist band and sign in initially. No privacy on the sign in because your quest can see who else has visited because it's all on one sign in sheet per room.

This property is only half a block from Canal Street, and once you cross that street you are in the French Quarter. It is also close to the St. Charles streetcar. The full, hot breakfast is included and has a good variety of items. The staff in general is very good. The breakfast staff was very attentive, polite, and friendly. There is an in-room safe, which is a very good idea in NOLA. Unfortunately, the business center computers were a bit difficult to use for anything other than Internet. However, this is the best Best Western I have stayed at, hands down.

Staff is pleasant, entry way and rooms were clean and well kept, the breakfast was good, the valets were super friendly and helpful. I love the characteristics of the hotel! Amazing stay every year, they have the best service & rooms. Close to everything. Valet was on point with be very prompt getting us loaded and vehicle ready for us with text service love that. Also hotel would check on me during stay via text was a plus.

Overall, the hotel is great! Within blocks from absolutely everything and only a block or two from the casino. The only problem we really had was discovering that out room had Gia ant curtains and no actual window. We were super disappointed about that.

We stayed here for our one year anniversary trip to Nola and loved it! The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was very nice as well as the valet service that parked our car. The location of the hotel was very good, with a short walking distance to the French quarter and bourbon street.

I needed a last minute, cheap room for an unexpected business trip. This hotel feature a great location for my destination and had some of the cheapest parking fees in the area. The staff from the valets to the front desk to the breakfast attendants were all very friendly and helpful. The room was a little warm for me but the beds were very comfy! I'd definitely stay here again!

Dave greeted us, checked us in and suggested a great restaurant. Ben, Carleb, Dennis & Ray helped with luggage/valet. Nimfa, G and Rhea were awesome with breakfast and checkout. We will definitely be back for another stay.

This hotel is very dependable, so I have stayed with them all three times I have visited New Orleans. The rooms are a bit small, but they are very clean with comfortable accommodations. A microwave would be nice, but my room did have a refrigerator, and we were able to use the microwave in the lobby. Parking is a bit expensive, but if you plan ahead, you can find alternative lots nearby. Breakfast is delicious. Yogurt machine is awesome. My guess is that the eggs are real. They have a quiet room on the side for dining, so there is probably never a risk of someone not being able to find a seat.

You need to know up front that, because of the great location, parking is not easy. There is a paid parking lot behind the hotel, need to use Common Ave to get there. Valet parking is available and you need to turn from Canal onto Magazine and then pull over to the left immediately; if you shoot past it, it can take awhile to go around the block! Building has been remodeled so it has some exposed brick, which is nice. Rooms are nice but could be a bit small for more than one person. Free breakfast was terrific.

We stayed for six days in this hotel. I was very surprised that the hotel is in great location. It is very close to casino, shopping, restaurants, bus and streetcar stops. The hotel is very modern and clean. We got a free nice breakfast that helped us to save a lot of money. Ms. Nimfa and Ms. Rhea were very helpful in the breakfast area. We felt at home in this hotel. The breakfast area was always well maintained and fully stocked with food. Ms. Nimfa and Ms. Rhea did such a wonderful job. We will come back again because of their wonderful staff. Thank you Best Western Plus St. Christopher. You made our vacation in the beautiful City of New Orleans very memorable. Thank you Ms Nimfa and Ms Rhea.

The hotel is close to the french quarter and within walking distance to every corner of it (providing you are able). The staff we met (Dave) is awesome and had the asnwers to all our questions. I would stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights at the St. Christopher. Loved it! You are in walking distance to the French Quarter, across the street from the trolley to places like Frenchman Street, and on the bus line to the WWII Museum. The hotel is clean and nice. We had a great view of the river. But the best thing is the staff! You receive a text the first day and can respond to that text for anything you might need (extra towels, etc..). They respond immediately and are very helpful. The front staff is also good at recommending local places and helping you navigate the public transportation system. We will definitely be back!!

The complimentary breakfast was good. Rhea and Nimfa were amazing hotel staff who made the breakfast environment friendly and at home. But the room was very small and with two beds and other furniture, there was hardly any space left. We literally had to jump into the bed after entering the room. And the pack and play they provided for our infant had no base and was broken. The location was great though.

This is a very nice hotel- great price, rooms very clean, beds super comfortable and quiet even with a window facing a busy street. We loved the old brick and full length windows of the original building combined with a modern decor. Breakfast was good but the dining area is very small so trying to get in and get what you wanted was difficult. Location is fabulous for anyone who doesn't mind walking and the trolley stop is less than a half block. The ONLY real negative ( and it was a HUGE one for us) was the very poor valet service. We requested our car 30 min ahead as instructed and didn't get our car for 75 minutes. The gentleman at the front desk was very apologetic but it made us completely miss our boarding time for our cruise. Luckily, we had reserved parking during the cruise at Machu Picchu cruise parking and they took great care of getting us to the boat, on board, and took superb care of our car while we were gone even giving us some maps and directions to pick up last minute gifts on our return. The only parking the hotel offers is valet and it is pricey at $37/day. There is public parking within walking distance but not sure of the security or price as it is on a side street. I would definitely stay at the Best Western Plus St Christopher again but would certainly park my car elsewhere

Rhea and nimfa was the best breakfast attending. That made sure we had everything we need and if we need something that would get for us I so glad we had them I am tell all my family and friend to stay here when that come. to New Orleans

Staying at the st. Christopher the staff was nice , cleanliness of the hotel I would rate a 7 out of 10 , but the best part about it was eating breakfast. Rhea and Nimfa went above and beyond to make sure that you had what you needed . The day of check out Rhea gave my granddaughter a hug and walked her out , she alone gets a 10 Thanks Rhea for awesome customer service and loving your job , until we meet again , stay blessed

Our recent stay at the Best Western Plus was Wonderful, to say the least! From the moment we walked in until our departure, it was an excellent experience.The Staff was simply beautiful. Very accommodating. The Breakfast Staff were AMAZING! Kind, very very attentive, very personable (Nimfro and her daughter) made sure that no guest wanted for anything. The FOOD was Simply DELICIOUS! The Chef who created Omelets to Order was WONDERFUL!!

Most fun I have ever had in a city put us at the center of everything we wanted from new orleans.we loved our stay rooms clean, whirlpool tub was amazing quaint teo bedroom no window but felt so spacious.

Best part was breakfast with Rhea & Nimfa serving! They're so sweet and they make it a cheery place. The cook was great, too. Some days he could make omeletes which were awesome. Sometimes there were only scrambled eggs. That was a little weird. Our bathroom had a sewer gas smell when we arrived. The mini-frig only worked marginally. The pillows were maybe half as big as standard pillows. The AC is loud. Bed was comfortable. Front desk staff ranged from decent to poor.

It was our 6th time visiting New Orleans and let me say, This was one of the Best Hotels we have stayed at. Weve stayed at 4-5 stars hotels that wasn't as good as the Best Western. We stayed in room 613 and let me just say....it was BEAUTIFUL! we had the perfect view looking directly out on Canal and my favorite breakfast spot..The ruby Slippers. The hotel staff was very sweet. Ariel and Gee went above and beyond to make our stay worth while. Housekeeping also kept our room very clean. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. The only bad part was paying for parking which was 41.00 a night. I would recommend parking at the airport and catching an Uber because the prices are ridiculous.

We really enjoyed our stay at The St. Christopher. Perfect location. Very easy to walk to everything in the French Quarter and surrounding area. Our room was small but very nice and Keano at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful! We will return. Thanks so much.

It was our first time in New Orleans and we felt this hotel for a 2 nights stay was a good choice. The wonderful staff and location are their assets - from check-in/check-out, valet, breakfast ladies, to housekeeping, everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The grounds and our room were all kept relatively clean. Our room # 1013 (top floor) was huge, with a fridge but did not keep our drinks very cold; a safe, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, and basic amenities, lots of clean towels, and sofa. Bed and pillows were comfy and clean. However, room has a weird smell each time we walked in from outside, like the smell of dusty room (possibly from the old brick wall?), and the a/c in our room turns on and off all night long with a loud boom each time and the TV volume has to be cranked high whenever it turns on; hence the 4-star, sorry. Valet parking with unlimited in/out privileges but cost about $41+tax per day for a midsize car. Hot breakfast with crispy thin strips of bacon, sausages, eggs, pancakes, muffins, yogurt, etc. Good Community coffee, but no green tea although they do have 4 other choices of teabags (camomile, mint, deejarling, camomile/mint) - which are left available for guests to help themselves 24/7 in the breakfast area by the elevators/lobby. Location was right at intersection of Magazine and Canal St, 10 minutes walk on Decatur St to Jackson Square, 5 minutes walk to Harrah's Casino, and a block from the famous Bourbon St. We love everything about this hotel except for the a/c and will probably ask for a different room next time.

Hi, from Memphis, We parked our car and never needed it again. Street cars will take you anywhere, maybe with a bit of hoofing it. We want to send out thanks to Rhea and Michelle who made our visit most comfortable.

I would stay here again. Easy walk to several Nola venues. Breakfast was perfect. Room was clean and cool and the bed super comfy. My first visit to Nola is off to a good start. Don't know why I waited so long

I was in New Orleans for one night, but in those 24 hours, the staff of this Best Western Plus, St. Christopher Hotel, totally won me over! Ariel at the Front Desk & Casey at the door quickly remembered my name. They, and everyone else, gave me the feeling, without exception, that they were genuinely happy to have me there and to help me in any way. The hotel was clean, the location perfect, the FREE breakfast (with omelet station!) was delicious, and, as I've already said, the staff was superb. To Ariel, Casey and all -- Many thanks!

St. Christopher Hotel is a pretty building with very nice rooms and a good breakfast. But the staff is by far their greatest attribute. Everyone was polite and very good at their job. I'll be back next year!

Amazing hotel and staff. Waking distance to Cafe Du Monde. What more can you all for?! Parking is through Valet but only have to pay once a day. There is in and out privileges. Everything my friend and I wanted to do was well within walking distance so it stayed parked for the entire stay.

This hotel has been renovated since the last time I stayed there, the room was very nice. It's within walking distance to several good restaurants and bars. Front desk staff we friendly and efficient, the valet was very quick when I needed my car.

Rhea and Nimfa are very welcoming and polite to all the customers. They offer great services and maintain the area very clean. Rhea is very helpful when I asked her questions about the tours and eateries around the city.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Staff and all amenities were very nice. Breakfast was wonderful. Plenty of both hot and cold tasty selections. My room was very interesting. This is an older building. When it was renovated to become a hotel, much of the original brick work and layout, including columns, was left in place. Some of the wall area in my room was original brick work and included one of the columns. Great appearance, very cool. Another important factor about this location is the location. It is close enough to the French Quarter, and the warehouse district to walk. But is just far enough away to avoid the noise, etc. that often accompanies the French Quarter. It's a quarter of a block from Canal Street where you can conveniently catch streetcars, busses, etc.to other outlying areas. I would happily stay here again and also recommend you give it a try.

Breakfast was excellent. Car valet provided by the hotel stole approximately $25 from our vehicle. This was even more annoying than it should have been, because we tipped them and paid for the service... Parking is not available surrounding the hotel. Overall, the hotel is clean and room was comfortable.

Oustanding service from mom and daughter, Rhea and Nimfa. They made our stay as pleasant as possible. Great location as well. Though parking fee was steep, valet service was woth it. We would love to visit here again.

The room decor was pretty nice, bare bricks. Room was small but we knew that going in and it was fine. Pillows were awful. Breakfast was very good for a hotel freebie, above average actually. Good stay over all. Nice staff. Never got the extra towels we requested though.

Had a very pleasant two-day stay here. Staff super friendly and helpful. Better than expected breakfast service, including a chef to make omelets and more variety than a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. Room was attractive, nicely designed, had a safe in the room. Beds were comfortable as were the pillows. Great stay.

We returned this year to the BW Plus St Christopher for the French Quarter Fest, held every April. It is our go to place to stay as it is so near the French Quarter without the traffic and noise. After a long day of food and music and walking we really appreciate the convenience of this hotel as well as the friendly staff and breakfast to start our day. Close enough to walk to the river, French Quarter, World War II Museum and nearby trolley make any visit to NOLA a breeze!

The St Christopher is a restored dry goods building with the old beams exposed and the exterior brickwork visible as well. Close to the French Quarter and one block from the streetcar lines on Canal Street. The staff is OUTSTANDING. I would like to individually commend Gerayn Jefferson. Gerayn treated us like family. He gave us his recommendations for dining and entertainment, and every place recommended was excellent. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and even had an omelet station. All in all, we will definitely return to the St Christopher!

We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. When we complained that our refrigerator was not working they immediately replaced it with a functioning unit. The location was perfect. The breakfast choices were wide ranging and for the most part healthy. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very happy we found this Best Western. Our flight was canceled and our budget couldn't afford a night at our hotel in the French Quarter. So happy we booked the Best Western at the last minute. Very Clean room, superb customer service. The 2 ladies at the front desk were down to earth and kind. The hotel was clean and smelled nice and had a great small business center. Room was spotless with brick walls . Although we only stayed one night it was budget friendly clean with a nice staff. Will stay here again .

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights for sightseeing . We like the location of the hotel close to the French quarter. The rooms are clean and have a fresh style. The staff especially at breakfast was doing great. The only thing we didn't like was the plastic plates, plastic knife and forks and the missing exhaust hood at the omelette station at breakfast.

My family and I stayed in the Best Western Plus Christopher. Love the staff! Nimfa, Rhea, Dave, Dennis and Keanu are the best! I'm going to miss them. Love this hotel and I would definitely come back again!

Close to Bourbon street, but far enough away to get a great nights sleep without hearing the partying all night. Super friendly staff. Rooms are small, but very comfortable and clean. Prices were very fair, and we would certainly book here again on our next visit to NOLA

We had a great stay at the St. Christopher. Within walking distance of all the major attractions, comfortable rooms, and excellent service during breakfast from Rhea and Nimfa. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly desk. Explained everything very well. We got room 1001 and I was pleasantly surprised with the awesome view of the river and part of the city. Even saw a cruise ship come in. The room was not that small given that we had a king size bed and it is a middle of the city hotel. We were able to manage our luggage effectively and we had a lot! Through out the night and in the morning everything was very quiet, but we needed a nap one afternoon and it was impossible as room 1001 is next to the maintenance closet and they were in and out of it a hundred times, without controlling how hard and loudly the door closed. The odd numbered floors have the ice machines on them and I felt bad for the rooms near it when I was filling up my man sized cooler at 6:30 am. If you have a pet, $30 per pet per night, be ready to walk a lot to get to green gras! The closest park was 10 minutes one way at a very brisk walking pace. So I would think twice bringing a pet here. The valet service was professional and quick at $41.... per night. The cost hurt my feelings a little but it is the most practical option. I was concerned that I was not able to remove everything at least valuable to me, but it all came back without a finger layer on my tools, etc. so I would recommend them. Breakfast was very good. Many choices. Friday they had very tasty French toast, but Sat there was nothing special. Not sure why? The Scrambled eggs was tasty and better than at most if not all other hotels we have been to. The bacon was perfectly done and the breakfast patties we moist, perfectly cooked and tasty as well. So I can recommend St Christoper and would stay again, but we are 1 time visitors of vacation spots. The been there and done that kind, so I doubt if we will need a hotel in NOLA again. If we do this one will be at the top of my considerations.

Much better than expected! Pros: *The people... every single person working there that we interacted with was welcoming and friendly. Dave at the front desk was awesome, and daily- went above and beyond to help us and answer every question, including recommendations on where to eat and which tours to take. *The hotel and our room were CLEAN. I've read a bunch of reviews saying otherwise, but our experience was a nice clean room that was nicely decorated. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was huge and we were in a quiet location. * Walking distance to everything, and yet not in the middle of it all. This was especially nice at night when walking to the store on the corner, might have been sketchy in the French Quarter. Cons: *In room 602- light comes in from around the door. Also, the blackout drapes were great at night, but I had to rig them closed so that the morning light didn't blind me when it came peeking through the sides and reflected in the mirror right in front of the bed. *Our room was small, and pretty cramped. We stayed 5 nights and had 2 big suitcases. Also, my husband has a scooter... it was tight in there. *Breakfast was just ok. I'm not a big breakfast person, but I would've liked the muffins/ danishes warm. They did have eggs, bacon, sausage and omelets... also, pancakes, real, fruit and juices. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again... the things that were good were really really good. I felt safe, it was comfy and clean and mostly the people were exceptionally friendly.

This was my first trip to New Orleans and it was absolutely fabulous! It started with the hotel and its outstanding staff! Best Western St. Christopher is perfectly located to all attractions and trolley. It's less than half a block to Canal street by where you can easily and safely walk to the French Quarter, Harrah's, Bourbon St. and so many other wonderful attractions. The welcoming check in staff were friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The breakfast staff, especially Rhea and Nimfa had delicious coffee, toast, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit and so much more delicious breakfast ready! The breakfast area was clean and spacious! They were friendly and very personable. If I could give this hotel more than a 5 I Would in an instant! I will return with my family and stay at this hotel in a heartbeat. I strongly recommend it!!!!!

The Hotel was close to many great New Orleans experiences all in walking distance. The Hotel staff were very friendly, always making sure the guest had everything they needed. The Kitchen/Dining room staff Nimfa and Rhea a mother & daughter team were GREAT! The breakfast dining was very good with a wide variety of items offered daily. I enjoyed my stay will book this same Hotel when I return to New Orleans.

The pictures of this property make it look much nicer than it is. On the plus side, the location is great. One block off of Canal on Magazine. Easy walk to the Quarter and shopping on Canal. On the minus side, the bathroom was impossibly small and outdated, the bed not too comfy. Although it looks like the restaurant has a bar area, it is only used for a breakfast buffet.

This hotel is located just outside of the French Quarter. Very walkable to many of the main tourist attractions and restaurants. The hotel staff was some of the best that I've ever experienced. All were very friendly, helpful, and worked hard to make our stay the best it could be. The two women who manage the breakfast were superb (Rhea & Nimfa). They are a true example of what it means to excel in your job and go the extra mile in terms of customer service. We were really pleased with our decision to stay at the St. Christopher and would recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.

Excellent location and nice, clean rooms and spaces but it's the staff who make this hotel stand out. We really enjoyed all the staff we had the opportunity to meet especially Rhea and Nimfa in the breakfast area, Dennis at the door, and Juliann at the desk. Highly recommended!

Especially notable was the service we received in the breakfast room from the mother and daughter team of Rhea and Nimfa. They were extremely kind and welcoming to my wife, who needed extra help to get her breakfast and be seated. The two of them made things so much easier for us.

I was unable to stay at the conference hotel and the Best Western Plus St. Christopher Hotel was only a block away. It ended up being cheaper than the conference hotel and had great rooms and amenities. I highly recommend a stay here!

Every time we go visit Nola, we always stayed here. So last Saturday, April 6,2019, we came back again and celebrated my husband and I's 8th year anniversary. It was special and the people that worked there made it more special... To the guy ( an intern all the way from Philippines), thank you for your warmth welcome even if it was super late at night. The morning before we depart as well, we were served with good breakfast and good services. Thank you Rhea and Nimfa for doing such a great job... AND thank you Best Western for giving us another great stay.

Only stayed the one night but this hotel was great. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Location was very good and comes with a free breakfast. Room was nice, especially liked the bare brickwork . There is no parking but they have valet which was quick and efficient , Zeric at the valet was particularly helpful, as was David at reception. The hotel is also dog friendly which is one of the reasons we chose it. Will be back soon.

Our room was modern and pleasantly decorated. We were texted if there was anything we needed during our stay. We were impressed with the friendly staff Kaitlyn, Dave and everyone at the front desk. They always took time to answer our questions or help us. The breakfast area was well stocked and kept neat by Nimpha and Rhea. We were especially delighted to have delicious made to order omelets by Derek several times.

The warm friendly people at the front desk, morning and evening. A dear young man they referred to as the "electrician" who would come to the room to quickly address issues of concern even as simple as a TV remote. But especially the kind employees who greeted us each morning in the breakfast area: RHEA, NIMFA AND DEREK- THEY WERE SUCH A DELIGHT!!! We looked forward to their smiles each day. They would even make a very delicious omelet. I will think of them when I think of my days in New Orleans. The kind employees make this Hotel a WINNER!!!!!

This Best Western is right outside the French Quarter. It worked well for us because we could easily walk to wherever we wanted to go in the French Quarter without all the noise and cost of being in the French Quarter. (I would recommend not having a car unless you absolutely need one. Driving around the French Quarter seems almost impossible). This Best Western also served a complete breakfast. There is plenty of hot and cold choices and for 2 of the mornings there was a chef who was available to make your omelette. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Each day the manager, Dave, would text me to find out if there was anything I needed. This was helpful because I could text him to know when we were out so housekeeping could clean the room. We would stay there again whenever we visit.

I had a great stay in st Cristopher and great service, specially by Rhea and her daughter Nimfa during their breakfast serving. They where very courteous and helpful. What I liked most is that they were genuinely happy to to tend to our needs and others.

Even though the room wasn't very big and it had no other daylight than from a ceiling window, we were happy to stay here. We know hotels in big cities can be a compromise when it comes to space, unless you're ready to pay much more. This hotel is next to Canal Street and just steps away from the French Quarter. We had some problem with the hot water, but they were able to fix that fast enough. Breakfast was great and the room was nice and quiet. So all was well until we were ready to leave. This hotel offers valet service and we messaged the correct number as instructed for the car to be delivered in 10-15 minutes. But after half an hour still no car, even though the valet guy said they were working on the car. After 40 minutes another confirmation it was really coming. In the end it took 1 hour for the car to arrive, so I complained at the front desk because I wanted my $37 back. Well, the manager wasn't there, but the lady at the frontdesk made a note and promised we would be send an email about his. Well guess what: that email never came. It was just a white lie to appease me for the moment and there was no real intention to ever follow up on that. That really impacted this stay negatively. Mistakes can be made, but don't stop communicating after that!

Close to the French Quarter, but not in it. Close to the trolley. Excellent breakfast. Rhea and Nimfa in the breakfast room were so pleasant and helpful in the morning. The valets and workers at the desk were helpful and always had a smile on their faces. Our room did not have a window, but that helped make it quiet at night. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for a couple of nights recently and had a wonderful time in most delightful surroundings. Excellent front of house staff and waitresses in breakfast lounge. Wonderfully appointed bedrooms. Would recommend to anyone as the hotel is ideally placed for the French Quarter.

Rhea and Nimfa provided great food and friendly service with the free continental breakfasts! Girls loved the whirlpool tub and front desk was helpful for area finds. Incredible location within walking distance to everything. Our favorite was relaxing in the peaceful Piazza d'Italia. Worth the 10-15 minute wait for the original Cafe du Monde. Loved Mother's, Cafe Ernst & Coterie. If you're driving to hotel early, may have to wait a few hours to get into your room but was comfortable.

We are in a time where most service providing businesses are challenged with providing consistent, friendly, responsive staff who are courteous and pleasant. During my stay at the St. Christopher, I found them to be the exception. Very pleasant and comfortable stay with folks who genuinely seem to appreciate serving the needs of their customers. The front desk staff was awesome, especially “G”, Pleasant young man.

Rhea and Nimfa were VERY helpful and sweet at the breakfast buffet. Made sure you had everything you wanted and more. Would definitely recommend their complementary breakfast along with their service.

The staff was exceptional including the front desk, valet parkers, & Rhea & Nimfa who were breakfast servers. Everyone very friendly and even greeted us when we returned each day. The room was adorable. My only problem, which I adjusted to, was the light coming into the room - there are blackout curtains but they don't come all the way to the wall so there was a shaft of light in the corner - at first the room seems dark but after my eyes adjusting it was pretty light in there. If sleeping in the dark is a priority, get an interior room without windows.

It could have been a lovely visit. Customer service was very friendly, the hotel and rooms rooms were updated and attractive and even the breakfast was better than average. Unfortunately both days we returned late in the day to discover housekeeping never made up our room. When we brought it to the attention of the desk and they immediately sent someone to rectify the situation. That required us to vacate our room for at least a half hour. I believe one of the biggest joys and the most basic requirement of a hotel is to return to you room after a long day and find it clean and ready for you. This hotel failed.

If you are not coming back to the hotel with the influence of alcohol to knock you out you'll be in for a very disturbed night sleep. My husband and I visited New Orleans during my pregnancy so partying was not our purpose. We were looking for a location outside the French quarter but close enough to walk for meals and browsing around. On our first night a group of women was cackling all night long in their room, even after we called security at 1130 to ask them to please quiet down. The next day they moved us to another room, up one floor. This night was even worse. The walls are so incredibly thin. We heard a nasty midnight argument between the couple next door. Every word we heard clearly through the walls. The construction is so poor here! On the positive side the breakfast was decent, the bed was very comfortable and room itself was nice. Don't stay here if you actually want a restful night's sleep.

GREAT ALL OVER from check in to checkout and NO it was not the alcohol!!!! LOL A GREAT HOTEL all the way around! Front Desk Lady was so nice I wish I remembered her name Now that might be the alcohol!!! LOL

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff was top notch, especially Caroline. She helped us with locations to visit as well as setup a tour. This hotel is in a landmark location and close to everything, i.e., World War II Museum, Bourbon Street, French Quarters, etc. Every thing was great! The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The breakfast service from Rhea and Nimpa was also top notched. The breakfast is expansive with many options to choose from and accomadates most diets. They are friendly and always made sure you had enough and enjoyed your breakfast. This is a very beautiful hotel and the staff is top notch. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a true New Orleans and hospitality experience.

My first time in New Orleans!! Had a wonderful time,during Mardi Gras 2019!!! The rooms were clean; and bed was very comfortable!! All the staff were friendly and helpful!! Hotel is walking distance to Bourbon Street and other attractions!! Perfect location for the Mardi Gras parades!! I have already recommended this hotel to my daughter. The breakfast was delicious with great hot coffee. Staff were so helpful and heartwarming. I want to especially compliment Rhea and Nimfa for their excellent assistance, during breakfast. Rhea was so nice to talk with and a good listener too. Thank you to all your staff for a fabulous stay!!

Location, decor, cleanliness and staff were excellent. The real drawback is the air conditioner unit. It is built into an overhead space over the entrance of the room. Whenever the air conditioner kicked in, it sounded like a jet engine in the room. If you're watching TV, the AC is loud enough that you can't hear the TV. We couldn't turn the AC down because the room would get too stuffy as the windows didn't open. My kids wanted to sleep with their noise cancelling headphones on. If it wasn't for everything else being so great about this hotel, we would have moved after the first night.

This was an overall great stay... The chef was so great and went above and beyond... I will be visiting again. The location was seconds from canal and minutes from the casino... The staff was very pleasant

Hotel was close to major attractions, polite and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, good price for the location. Comfortable and surprisingly spacious room met our needs and were quick to respond if needed.

WE BROUGHT OUR DOG WITH US, REVIEW WAS WRITTEN WITH THAT IN MIND. I know what you're thinking. It's a Best Western. My heart sank every time I saw on one on the road while we were driving (we drove from San Antonio to New Orleans). They did not look good. So when we pulled up to this location it seemed like my thoughts were confirmed. It had two front doors, and right beside it was a pretty shady alleyway and a public lot that looked as dangerous as ever. When I walked in I was amazed. It was beautiful inside, with a great rustic feel. The staff was extremely nice and offered our dog a treat (which he loved!). Our room was FANTASTIC. Wood paneling for our furry friend and a quaint little space for us. It was a bit on the smaller side, but it was definitely better than a standard room you would get somewhere else. The hotel has an awesome breakfast, and is just on the outside of the French Quarters. It makes it super easy to get there and to feel safe in the process. The only downfall, besides the small room, was the valet. You can use the public lot, but it's one of the shadiest I've ever seen. So you are stuck with the $40 valet (that isn't run by the hotel but still associated with them). They are super unorganized, and the lot is pretty far because its only one way streets throughout the city. The dropoff was simple, but the pickup took about 20-30 minutes because no one was at the desk when we checked out, and we had to text the number they gave us. Not the best when you're on a time schedule. Other than that the hotel itself is incredible!

We recently stayed at St Christophers for 3 days. We stay at many hotels and I would have to say this was one of our best. We had a fantastic stay. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay great, They make great omelettes for breakfast. I wish I remembered the name of the young man that checked us in he was awesome!! Thank you for the great stay!

The St Christopher was an excellent choice for this trip to New Orleans! They allowed my friend to leave flowers and a birthday cake in my room before I arrived for a marvellous surprise when I arrived!! The location is fantastic, breakfast good, beautiful and clean, staff really kind and helpful!! After a few nights though I discovered the bed was rather hard, though I'll be keen to try a different room next time. And the hot water too some time to get to the 10th floor. Shower has good pressure, TV difficult to find the guide. 8/10 and can't wait to stay again!

We have stayed here during prior trips and enjoyed. It. Location is convenient to French Quarters and Garden District thus great for walking to eat and touring. Lady at check in was not very welcoming or helpful with parking options. Options seemed to be valet parking at $40 + per 24 hours or you are on your own to find safe and affordable parking. Room was very small with temperature control issues our first night; too cold. Because it is in the first half of the block off Canal St, the week before Mardi Gras, parking for check in and unloading was a challenge. Almost all the parking spaces were blocked by Mardi Gras prep equipment. The location made it easy to,view parades going down Canal St. . The valet parking attendant/bellman was very nice and helpful. The breakfast selections were nice, including protein items. Breakfast service was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean. See pictures once posted.

Let me start by commending Best Western on a nice update to an older building. The hotel room was really nice and was very clean. The room is a bit tight with the furniture but we still had good space for easy access to our luggage. The bathroom was a very nice size with limited counter space. The towels were really nice, too. There are several plugs to recharge your electronics in the room. The breakfast was really good, too, with a pleasant staff there as well. The building is 10 stories tall and not very wide. I really liked the exposed brick decor with some modern touches as well. This is probably the nicest BW I have stayed in. NOW, let me explain the parking to help any future customers. I did not find this in other reviews or on the website, and it would have been helpful to read something about this before we arrived our first time in NOLA. There is no parking at the hotel. However, they do offer valet parking. If you are on Canal Street, turn by the Sheraton hotel onto Magazine Street and go down a block. BW St Christopher will be on the left. (We drove around and around until I finally called the hotel to find out what to do.) There is a valet sign there, but it is a congested area and another car was blocking the sign so we could not see it. You pull up to the valet sign and park on the street curb right in front of the hotel. You can unload and they will soon move your car. I thought the parking charge was too high, but we enjoyed the convenience of the valet service. Once we checked in, we either walked or rode the trolley. Give them some advance notice when you need your car because it is parked several blocks away. The French Quarter is very close to this hotel and you can certainly walk there. There are eateries in the area but not many cheap eats if you are in a hurry. That made the hotel breakfast another great benefit. My husband and I decided to visit New Orleans for a weekend. Getting to and from the MSY airport to the french quarter is a flat rate of 36.00 without tip for one or two travelers. We were greeted at check in from a smiling receptionist who was very helpful. We checked into our room without any problems. We stayed on the 9th floor (902) from our window we could see Harrahs Casino. It was probably a 4 minute walk. The rooms were beautiful. We loved the exposed brick, and the floor to ceiling windows. The rooms were also very clean. It can be a little noisy when people are walking to the elevators in the hall if they are talking. But other than that we are definitely going back to stay at this hotel. Everything was in walking distance and we prefer to be away from Bourbon St, we will visit Bourbon St, but we like to be able to get away from crowds. At check out, which was VERY early because of our flight, we were assisted by a young man, I wish I got his name because he was amazing!, he was very easy to talk to and very interested in hearing our thoughts about New Orleans and the hotel. He called out taxi for us and made sure the taxi driver came into the hotel to get us. He was very professional. We can't wait to come back and stay at the St. Christopher Hotel!

There where a few dislikes: No microwave in room, unloading at curbside on busy street. However, the staff was awesome. Everyone whom I came in contact with was very pleasant and accommodating. Made up for lacking in the facility

$300/ night for ... nothing!! Not clean enough! Small rooms! No window in the room! Bad breakfast( same for 8 days)! Rooms were not cleaned by the time we were back(3-4 pm) The only “pros” was location! Stay away from this hotel!

Best Western Plus is just a stone's throw to Canal St, and centrally located. The at the front desk and breakfast lounge were very helpful and accommodating. My room was superclean. Great value and great experience.

This best western was dog friendly and was very walkable to Bourbon Street, Decatur Street and the Mississippi River. We did have to call about the valet parking. They directed us how they do it and it was well worth the money because there is no parking.

We stayed here on our recent vacation with other couples. Great location. Just a building or 2 from Canal street and trolley. Steps away from the French quarter. Hotel is very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise.i thought it was going to be continental (bagels and hardboiled eggs) but it was a hot breakfast with all of the usual offerings for a hot breakfast. The breakfast staff, Rhea and her mom Nimfa were so sweet,helpful, welcoming. We chatted with Rhea every morning such a wonderful way to start our day of sightseeing. This would also be great for families to stay here, in my opinion. So close to many food options for all the other meals of the day.

Beautiful hotel, great location. Quiet and comfortable. Close to where u want to be in New Orleans, but steps away from the noise. Room was great, clean, and large for city hotels. Breakfast was nice and very well staffed. Our room was very quiet and had an amazing view. We even received a text welcome! a We were shocked and disappointed with all the "extras" and the lack of "extras" No newspaper, no shuttle, and no amenities other then breakfast and business center. We asked about the Cafe DeMonte breakfast and told if we prepaid we could walk to pick it up? We asked twice for newspaper and was told they no longer provide even if listed in room and on site. We expected $37 for daily parking....but then they added $2 for hotel assessment, and on and on...tax on parking? Just say price up front instead of adding on and on. This is a beautiful hotel inside and the staff is wonderful and I would highly recommend. Just know ahead that they will add.....Please, Don't mess it up with greedy little add ons...

We stayed 4 nights, bed was very comfortable (king size) and the room was big enough for the 2 of us, shower was okay (bath/shower...). Breakfast was probably one of the better ones we've had in the USA.Great location, easy to get to French Quarter etc. Fairly quiet too, so that was a relief.Would thoroughly recommend to others..

This hotel was great. The staff was very nice and accommodating, parking was cheaper than other hotels in the area and valet were always accessible when needed. There was some construction going on across the street that we didn't know about but we weren't in the room much during the day when there would be a lot of noise. The location is absolutely perfect for walking around downtown and access to everything in the French Quarter

Me my wife and granddaughter were treated so good the people working behind the desk were so friendly the bell boys were so helpful the breakfast was great. The hotel is?walking distance to a lot places

We booked this hotel for our stay in New Orleans. It was a great price, clean, and good location. We were unaware however of the required parking fees if you have a car. It was nearly $40 per day. We didn't read about these fees on their website when we booked as they are hidden deep in the 'hotel options' text. The text reads valet parking, but doesn't say 'required daily parking'. Other than the parking, the rooms were small and the bedsheets were cheap and felt like sandpaper. The rooms were clean and the location was great, but would probably would look for a place further out of the french quarter next time or one with cheaper parking.

Location was great, clean and great staff. Breakfast was great. Only down side was room was really smaller than I thought. Worked for the two of us. Would definitely book here again. Close and easy walk to Bourbon Street and French Quarter.

I have stayed here many times even before the Renovations. It is a clean nice hotel. It is only 10-15 minute walk to Bourbon St.. located near great restaurants. I would advise you to catch Bus,train,and or fly in, because there is no parking. I think they Vallet parki your car.I would highly recommend this hotel good price and service is 5*

This place was great. The breakfast was amazing, and the service was great as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a cozy place to stay that has a good hot breakfast in the morning. Although the hotel is small compared to other hotels in the area, the service is even better than larger hotels.

Good room rates, people the seem to care and are helpful, breakfast brought to your room at the time you want, no extra charge, rooms are fine, not fantastic but still in good shape with everything working as it should... Comfortable beds with great comforters on them...Good TV, comfortable room temps... Greg Patton delivered breakfast and was very helpful with advice on what to do and when.....

Hotel is in a great location and was very clean. They recently renovated so everything felt brand new. Complementary breakfast is offered everyday which has a good variety of breakfast foods and coffee/juice/tea. Staff was very nice. Great value hotel. We enjoyed our stay other then there being a large group of college students staying there. They were extremely loud and partying very late. Some went around at night and just started knocking on random hotel room doors (ours included). Others were very drunk at breakfast, shouting at 8 AM and making a lot of noise. Totally cool if they want to go out and have fun but it was really frustrating that they were being so loud and disruptive while at the hotel. Realize it's hard for the hotel to control this - hopefully it was just a one time occurrence.

The location, style of the room, cleanliness, and staff was all great but.... The curtains were not black out style like most hotels and when you stay up till 3am most nights and the sun wakes you up at 7 then I am not happy. The other problem was the windows are very thin. I could hear everything going on outside and we were on the 6th floor. Every morning they were doing construction and I could hear the beeping of the machines at 7am. I would stay there again if the price was right but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay there. Other than those 2 things I like the hotel.

Very nice hotel. The location was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, trolley, bourbon street and the french quarter. The breakfast was excellent. The front desks staff were helpful and so as the cooks in the breakfast buffet namely Rhea and Nimfa. Highly recommended to my family and friends if ever they want to visit NOLA.

I stayed 3 nights in a room with two double beds. I'm a no frills person, so this was perfect for me- clean, comfortable, and just a few extra touches to really make it a pleasant stay (mini fridge, whirlpool tub, etc). I would say that the room is small enough that I would NOT recommend staying with more than two people to a room, even if one or more are small children.

Only steps from Canal Street and a few hundred yards from Chartres street and the Freanch quarter, this hotel is surprisingly quiet. All the charm of a restored Old building, but none of the musty smells. Comfy rooms, and excellent breakfast. Reasonably priced. Recommend

Great location for walking to French Quarter, Water Front, Restaurants and Historic sites and WWII Museum.Breakfast was very good and even omletts made to order and pancakes.Rooms like new(but a bit small) in a beautiful old building.Internet on 10th floor did not work even after reporting issue.Bed was a bit uncomfortable (hard). Overall experience was good.

The hotel is within walking distance to the French Quarter, Trolley cars and Aquarium. The staff were very friendly. The price was affordable and included hot breakfast every morning. Great find and very accessible to attractions.

This hotel is really nice. I stayed here for one night while in New Orleans so I could extend my stay. The rooms were modern and clean. Hotel staff was very friendly. They serve hot breakfast in the morning and provide many options. The hotel is a short walk from Bourbon Street and Harrah's Casino. The rates for rooms are good. You really cant go wrong with this hotel. I would definitely stay here again.
