"Website let me book and then 2 weeks prior to visit hotel canceled"
The Best Western website let me book at this location. However, two weeks prior to my stay, the hotel canceled my stay saying they were closed due to Hurricane Ida (which according to google was Sept. 2021). So why was I allowed to book at this location when they are obviously closed due to storm damage from a year ago?!? This has left me in a bind for sure. Best Western customer service was not helpful in getting me a similar reservation at the rate that I was quoted for this location. Please do not book here unless you call and confirm that they have reopened (and not Best Western national number because they thought this location was open- call the hotel local number)!!!
"AMAZING"
great hotel, the gm is very kind and always helpful, the rooms are clean breakfast is hot. there are several places to stay in the area however none are as friendly. I would recommend this location to anyone traveling on business or a quick getaway
"possible covid-19 no compassion"
Husband fell ill while traveling by vehicle to this hotel 2 hrs from check in we chose to turn around and go back home after explaining our situation they charged us with no flexibility for future stay

"Laplace location"

"Wonderful Stay"

"Last Minute Stat"
When I needed a room last minute, the clerk at the front desk was very help and there was a room available, at a very reasonable rate. During the night I called the front desk and the clerk was very helpful. But more importantly, the ladies at the front desk were professional, soft spoken and kind.
"Accepts pets"
Nice, clean room. They allowed our 2 small dogs in the room for an additional fee. The room was handicapped accessible and even had an additional bathroom with a regular shower and toilet in addition to the handicap bathroom. Nice continental breakfast. The lady who managed the breakfast offered us fresh cookies and bottled water to go.
"All was good and pleasant"
We spent one night to visit the plantations. The hotel is well kept, the room was clean and the breakfast is great. The hotel is around 30 min from the NEW Orleans airport and it is a good location to visit the plantations, but there are not very many dinner options around.
"Close enough to New Orleans"
This hotel is located far enough away from New Orleans that you can avoid all the New Orleans traffic headaches but still close enough that you can conveniently get into or through the city when the traffic rush is over. Plenty free parking. Well maintained pool. Clean rooms. Good service.

"Middle of the Road"
Nothing great, nothing bad at the Laplace BW. Room was clean with comfortable beds. Staff gets 5 stars for being very helpful and friendly. Breakfast fare was your standard pre-cooked hot items along with cereal, pastries etc... excellent on the coffee. Would stay here again
"Good motel to use for a business trip"
Clean room with very comfortable beds. Maid service was excellent. Continental breakfast was fair, not many choices. It serve my purpose during this business trip. Plenty of day laborers staying here.
"very disappointing"
Their picture is false advertising (it was probably taken at the very least 10 years ago). This Motel is run down, and shabby. There are no "palm trees" in the front of it. Just an abandoned overgrown empty lot. The paint is peeling off the hotel. There were clothes hanging off of the guardrails and trash in the parking lot. Also on top of all that, when you confront them about the condition of their facility and ask for a refund they will deny your request and keep your money. Even though they swindled you out of your money by showing themselves online to be something that they are not.

I'm a truck driver so I have stayed at a lot of hotels but no one compares to nest western, everyone is so friendly and my stay is always enjoyable. I would definitely stay at best western again as well as highly reccomend it to a friend

We brought 65 Sr Adults into the area and the Best Western was MORE THAN AMAZING! Fabulous rooms, A+++++ service, great breakfast...the manager was the over the top wonderful. Ryan is his name...make sure u meet him...what a great man. We LOVED it.

I will not stay there because their workers have a very nasty attitude. I called to set up my reservation and the person I spoke to was not polite at all. After a night's sleep, I decided to cancel because I didn't deserve that.

My goodness, the staff was AMAZING, EXCELLENT, GREAT AND OUTSTANDING! The staff took very good care of me and my family during our stay! It made my trip again very memorable one. I would like to thank Best Western of Laplace. La for having the ABSOLUTE BEST Staff ever! I also would like to acknowledge RAVEN at the front desk for her efficiency as well as quickness during check-in and check-out. I love the courtesy, pleasantness, friendly and beautiful smile that was given during my stay. I would like to thank BERNARD at the front desk for accommodating me with extending my time for a late check-out which provided additionally rest before getting back on the road to travel. Finally, I give a great thanks to PAULETTEE in House Keeping and Breakfast Area. Paulette made sure during our stay me and my family had everything we needed for Breakfast and in our room. She was such a pleasant person with a beautiful smile that brightens up our morning when we saw her. "Rooms not clean "
We booked this room for a one night stay while traveling. The first room we were given had the door standing open and we didn't feel safe. The second room we were given was appalling. The hair dryer was covered in mud, the trash wasn't emptied, and when we pulled down the bed sheets there was a small bug and a very nasty hair in the middle of the sheets. It was very obvious the bed sheets had not been changed. This wasn't somewhere we could comfortably sleep and had to find somewhere else to go. The hotel has the potential to be decent, but needs appropriate cleaning. The only reason I'm rating it a 2 is because the hotel management did refund our money and the clerk in the office was very kind about the whole situation, which was totally beyond her control.
"Great price"
My son and I stayed here on a last minute decision and I was very pleased. The room was clean, the price was reasonable, and I felt like we and our vehicle were secure. It was very close to our destination so when we had plans to return there the following week, we went right back.

The hotel is easily accessed from I-10 and is close to great restaurants. The staff is friendly, helpful and always smiling. Willette, Raven & Daniel are always going above and beyond for all hotel guests no matter the request. The rooms are always clean and ready for you! The beds are comfortable and the parking lot is bright and well lit. If you are close to LaPlace and want a great room for a great price- don't pass up this Best Western!! "Gross, just gross"
Smokey and stinky. If you are a smoker or person who doesn't mind the musty smell of cigarettes, this place may be for you. We were very disappointed considering the marketing/advertising of this facility. Poor front desk service also. We decided to leave.

Arrived late that night and check in was quick and easy. Room was cold and clean when we arrived. It was very nice for the price. Women at the front desk were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

From the beginning to the end of our stay, it was a wonderful experience. The man at the front desk was very kind and professional. He went out of his way to make us feel valued. There was a bit of cleaning that was overlooked, but he made sure that the problem was solved. We would return to this location.

I stayed here for 2 months, except for a few weekends, for work. The staff is great. Always nice, friendly, and helpful no matter what time of day or night. The housekeeping staff do a great job keeping it clean and stocked. And the inclusive breakfast is one of the best I've experienced.
"A really great stay"
We stayed for two nights over French Quarter Festival weekend as hotels in town were just too expensive. Took around 25 minutes to drive in to the French Quarter from the hotel. This is a newer hotel in a good location close to the freeway (but not too close to be disturbed by traffic) and a short drive to local eateries. El Paso Mexican restaurant does great food! Front desk staff were great, really friendly and helpful and cookies and coffee in the lobby were a nice touch. Our room was excellent, very spacious and clean and the beds were so comfortable and large. Nice toiletries but unfortunately these didn't get replaced on the second day so we had to go and ask for more. Wifi worked well. Pool area was clean and inviting with chairs and recliners. Only complaint is that outside our top floor room there was a small patio area with a table and chairs which encouraged a rather noisy group to sit outside our room drinking and talking until late in the evening until we asked them to keep the noise down. After they had gone the room was quiet. First morning breakfast was excellent with a really great choice of hot and cold food, really couldn't complain about a thing. Unfortunately the second morning wasn't so good. Arrived for breakfast at 9.15am (breakfast is apparently served until 10am) to find pancake machine turned off, bacon had run out and the cartons of milk in the fridge were out of date (fortunately our daughter smelled the milk before using it otherwise we wouldn't have even thought to need to check the date!). Overall we had a mostly excellent stay and I would recommend this hotels to others looking for an inexpensive alternative to paying the high prices in town.
"Nightmare in Laplace."
Don't stay here. Small rooms with odor. Bathroom small and sink not in bathroom. Beds hard. You can only assess rooms from outside. No elevator. Had to walk up 2 flights of stairs in rain with 2 kids and my baggage.

Some staff was nice, room was exceptional. Sink splashed water out trying to use it. Didn't have some stuff like toilet paper. We had to go get it ourselves after having peovlems checking in. Overall it was ok and worked.

Great front desk staff. Very friendly and made you feel welcome. Updated our room to a suite, which was clean and cozy with 2 tv sets! A great seafood restaurant was recommended that was close by and breakfast was delicious. We would stay again.
"Busy weekend"
We chose this Best Western because we couldn't get a hotel room in New Orleans on a busy weekend. It worked out perfectly, twenty minutes outside of the city with easy access to the interstate. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hot breakfast had plenty of choices in a clean breakfast room, and remarkably the full hotel was blissfully quiet for a good night's sleep.

Hotel rooms were average. Did have a complaint about room amenities not working which was addressed the very next day (Same day of complaint). Erica was a great receptionist who was also the person who addressed all our needs. Even went way off and beyond and provided breakfast, even served it to the table.

We spent three nights there for a graduation. The room was clean and everyone was very friendly. There breakfast in the morning was pretty good. It was both a hot breakfast with your classic continental items. Definitely will stay again if in the area.

Best Western LaPlace Inn was a Great Hotel ... we stayed here for 3 days ..traveling from Atlanta Georgia and... Everyone was very nice and they made me feel comfortable .. MONICA WAS AWESOME ! She assisted my family and I with whatever we needed for breakfast with no problem ! Best service Ever ! ERICA on the Front Desk was really sweet she said good morning every time we walked in for breakfast with such a positive and friendly Attitude ! This is really nice place to stay. We are glad that we read reviews at hotels.com and decided to stay here. Really nice employees. In the morning Erica served good breakfast and she made sure everyone is full before they head to road or plan their day. For the price, location, and service i highly recommend this place.
"Disappointing"
Positively speaking, the hotel is close to the interstate. If truck stops are important in your travels, there are two within walking distance. Erica at the front desk was terrifically helpful upon my arrival. I arrived early and her assistance to get me into a room was above and beyond. Other front desk staff were great, as well. That's about it on the high side. On the down side, a few events were disappointing. On the second of my four day stay, housekeeping did not clean my room until 6PM. I had to call the front desk and request the service. I noticed a tissue box cover but no tissues, so when the housekeeper arrived, I requested a box. I was told they didn't have any tissues. It got nuttier... The very next day, housekeeping did not show at all. I didn't get back to the hotel until 7:30pm and the response I got when I called the front desk was essentially, "Oh well....". Finally, when I asked to use the business center to print out a boarding pass, I was told their printer never works. I was instructed to go to the Marriott next door, tell them I'm from the BW and use their Business Center. Crazy.
"Unexpected Treasure!"
Half a block from the interstate, and near wildlife and metropolitan areas, this is a budget-friendly stay with beautiful rooms, wonderful staff - front desk, cleaning, breakfast - and way-better-than-average breakfast. Such a surprising gem, but shhhhh, don't tell anyone, as I don't want it to be booked up the next time I need a room in that area!

"La Place, Louisiana"
This BW was satisfactory for the night stayed. The room we had was poorly lit and it was right opposite the ice and soda machines. That was a bit noisy. For the price - it was satisfactory. The staff was friendly and very polite.

"A comfortable 2-night stay in Plantation Country"
We spent two nights here, using it as a base to see several plantations along the river. The place was very clean, and the included breakfast was surprisingly complete, with bacon, sausage and eggs. I found my bed a little wallowy but my wife was fine with hers. Our room had a refrigerator and a microwave - nice amenities! The room's washbasin and counter-top were at one end of the room, just outside the bathroom. Some people may prefer that arrangement, but I prefer a self-contained bathroom. It's just a matter of preference. Our one suggestion is that well-lit, ground-level signage be added at the highway entrance; we found it difficult to know where to turn in when arriving at night.

My husband and I stayed here for a 3 day business trip. We've always enjoyed our stays at Best Western hotels all over the country but this is by far one of our favorites! The rooms were super clean & beds were so comfortable! What a great way to relax after a long day of work! The staff personnel was exceptional. They always made sure to greet us and made us feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was the bomb! Monica was super friendly and had the best personality ever! She made sure that no one left hungry, constantly restocking items, never letting them run low. We were very pleased with the variety of foods & drinks. Choices ranged from eggs, omelettes, bacon, sausage, biscuits, taquitos, French toast, pancakes, bagels,& more! Drinks consisted of milk( including chocolate milk) and a variety of juices. The room was clean and the staff was pleasant. My roommate noticed a smoke smell in the room and perhaps whatever was used to cover it up. I didn't notice a smoke smell, but had watery eyes and sneezing to suggest there had been smoking in the room. I had requested a non-smoking room.

"Comfortable beds, great customer servive"
I like best western this place was wonderful . Location was a bit tricky because its behind an abandon building. But check in fantastic, beds very comfortable. room clean, pool area awesome right next to a truck stop soeasy to get beer and not drink or drive. Monica in the moring for breakest was fablous so welcoming and attentive. Cassandra for check out was wonderful and friendly as well. Would definitely recommend staying here.

"Let's be honest"
Let's be honest here, this place is a motel located at a truck stop. When I booked I asked for a quiet room on an upper floor, I was given room 119 which is located on the ground floor and directly opposite the ice machine. As soon as I walked into the room I could smell damp and everything in there was damp and sticky. I think this may have been something to do with the AC, so I had this turned off for the duration of my stay and had the ceiling fan on instead, this made things slightly better. Also housekeeping had a trash can on wheels that they were wheeling about at 7am, The ice machine was crashing out ice at 04:50 and all of the construction/utility workers who were staying there (and there were a lot) were moving out very early in the morning. If you decide to stay here make sure you get a very very early night and have ear plugs

"Very Pleasant"
We stayed in a non-smoking suite with one king bed. Plenty of room, good size flat screen TV and very modern bath area. Our room was on the back, just feet from ice, vending and washer/dryer. Housekeeping cleaned the room promptly every time we wanted them to and were quite friendly. Fresh hot breakfast every morning from 5-10, which was great since we had to be at our job by 6. Breakfast was always outstanding, staff was attentive and genuinely interested in every guest. Overall an outstanding experience!

"Hotel"
Need to hire better employees that do not trade reserved rooms for drugs and try putting customers in a standard room. Employees are profiting off the rooms at the hotel and the owners need to handle the situation. I planned on coming next month but not sure if we will stay here again

"Top Notch"
Needed a place close to an attraction we were to go to in the morning. It was very close to the attraction and we couldn't have been happier with the room, pool and the awesome breakfast. It's not the complimentary type you get in a lot of places...this has the works! If we're ever in the area again, this is the place we will stay. Shout out to Ms. Monica who makes sure the breakfast is the best it can be!

We recently stayed and it was a good deal and really clean room. Clean bathroom. They had good choice for breakfast and everything worked. Comfortable beds and great customer service. Would stay here again.

"Perfect Hampton property. "
I stay at a Hampton Inn a few times every month and this property is a perfect example of why. Great bedding, fast Internet, good breakfast, and great staff. Staff told me that renovations would be happening in a year or so, but I don't think the place needs it. My only complaint is the noise from the doors closing, a common problem with a Hampton Inn.

I love the location, the breakfast is good and the items are changed up everyday. The rooms are extremely nice unlike what I would usually expect, with fishbowl type sinks, very comfortable chairs to lounge in and with a price that I could afford with no problem even if traveling outside of work.

"Nice hotel"
Nice rooms that are clean and really big. Check in was good. Breakfast was good. Good selections.Bathroom could be touched up around the tub, nothing really major. Would stay here again!!! Plenty of restaurants close by.

Stayed one night here. The hotel was clean and convenient. There are a lot of restaurants close by. We stayed here on our way to touring plantation homes. Not a lot of traffic and close to I 10. The staff are wonderful! The breakfast was good. Pancakes, omlets, sausage, cereals, donuts, etc. The breakfast area was cleaned and well maintained by Monica. She kept busy keeping everything clean and stocked. She was very friendly and helpful. She showed us how to work the pancake maker, which was really neat and made awesome pancakes! Thank you Monica!

A bad night in the middle of nowhere! The place was poor. Some people yelled all the night on the porch in front of my room! The room was old and the air conditioner was too strong! No comment on the breakfast...to forget!

"Nice stay overall"
Staff was very nice, however the two biggest issues I had, they didnt clean the room the entire stay (3nights), and the air conditioner made a grinding sound. I spoke with the front desk and was told that they would fix it but they only turned up the air, and the sound continued, by the 2nd night we were used to it. (Room 210) The hotel was booked the weekend we were there and bc they didn't take the dirty towels and wash rags they apparently ended up with a shortage, 2 towels and rags for 3 of us.

Everyone was so polite! Our room was really nice and comfy! We walked into a really clean. We really enjoyed having different choices at breakfast! Kids loved the breakfast!!! The location of the hotel was nice. Right down from a swamp tour and a short drive from rally good food either way you leave the hotel!

My husband and I were welcomed with a sweet smile as we entered the lobby. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast was very good and what we expected. from a nice motel. We enjoyed our stay and plan to stay there again when passing by.

The rooms are nice and big with a fridge and a freezer. The overall apperance of the hotel is clean, outside and inside. The best part is the FREE hot continental breakfast. The Breakfast Manager is Monica and she does a helluva job keeping the breakfast area clean and keeping the food fully stocked. She changes the menu everyday to keep it fresh and theres always enough for a second or third trip to the hot pan. Make sure your there before 10am because, continental is closed by 10am

"Excellent breakfast and nice staff"
Monica the breakfast host was so nice, she had everything stocked and so clean! Everyone was not, the women who worked at the front desk too. Everyone had a smile on their face and was more than happy to answer questions. There is a Wendy's, McDonalds and gas stations all within distances. Great for the price and an easy drive to NOLA. Just get on I-10!

"Family vaca"
This hotel has slipped in all areas. The reservations were a joke bc when we arrived the reservations were totally disregarded. The room was not serviced when asked to be. There was dog poop right outside our door for the entire stay. I'm allergic to smoke and we were told that smoking room was all they had after I reserved and was told there was a non smoking room available.

Just wonderful for the time we were there. The BW LaPlace Inn team were courteous, very polite and just great. The rooms were great. The Germantown Boys track group had a great stay and were pleased. Thank you!
"Overnight stay prior to cruise departure"
Very friendly staff. We only stayed one night, got there at 10pm and was up and out by 8am. So the room was fine for what we needed it for. Clean, very comfortable bedding/beds. Room was booked by our travel agent and we had troubles finding two rooms since it was so close to Mardi Gras. A little hard to find off the street, signage isn't very big, but that's not a big deal.

"Floor was soaking wet and room smell like cigarette"
I would never go back to this hotel. The smell was bad and the floor was wet it smell like cigarettes in mole in the room. The staff said she would sent someone to clean the room. But went I came back it was still smelling bad. I went to sleep and checking that morning

Great value at this hotel would recommend this property any time for the whole family. 3 of us stayed here in 2 rooms and were really surprised at just what a great hotel this was. We were here for a radio controlled boat race and did receive a great group rate.

"Nice Place but watch out for the ant's !!"
This is a nice best western but they need to step up their insect control, the bed was comfortable and room was very nice and clean but they have a ant problem as I walked in and found my bathroom counter covered with black ants and they were not just on the counter they were in my towels as well. Lets hope they call someone to take care of this problem.

Easy to find, right off of I 10, they allowed us to check in early which was great as we needed to freshen up before attending a funeral. The breakfast was a big disappointment but I think it was an unusual circumstance that created that

We enjoyed our weekend stay! Close to restaurants and a Walmart. Room was very nice and clean! The beds were really comfortable! The staff were very friendly and helpful! Anything we needed they were there to help with a smile! They also have a nice little gym so you don't miss a workout!! We will definitely be back!

"Lacking Amenities"
While the price was good, there were 2 major issues with the advertised amenities. First, the advertised free Wi-Fi wasn't working. I was also given the Wi-Fi password at check in but not told that the Wi-Fi wasn't working. Also, there was no TV reception & no guide in the room. When I asked at the front desk, I was told that housekeeping had a guide for the TV but nobody was here. I was only told this information when I complained. I pre-paid so I couldn't go elsewhere, and I was unable to switch rooms due to allergies. Hopefully, the hotel management will address these issues in the immediate future as they can make or break a guest's experience.

"Enjoyable"
Its been great, the staff is very friendly and understanding if you have a problem. The first week we stayed we had a room with two doubles and it was very roomy. The second time we had a suite, which had a king size bed and a couch that pulls out to a double two tvs one for couch area and one for bed area. Both rooms offered a desk, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The hotel itself has a pool that we have enjoyed. The hotel is also close to restaurants and a movie theater down the road and also a Walmart. The hotel also has a coin washer and dryer if your here for an extended period. Really enjoyed our stay. Forgot to mention they also offer breakfast till 10am it has also been good.

"Fantastic Stay"
We have stayed here more than once and love it ! We just spent four nights here as we were visiting The French Quarter and don't like staying in the City. The twenty minute drive gives us time to unwind from the hustle of New Orleans. This motel is clean the staff are all very helpful and super friendly. We had the same room we had three years ago and couldn't believe it looked the same, spotless ! This is an extremely well kept/maintained motel inside and out. Its one of the nicest cleanest pet friendly motels we have ever stayed at ! We parked outside of our room every night without a problem. Free parking too, parking in the City is so expensive. We will stay here every time we visit NOLA ! Also a great Oyster Bar just five minutes from the motel right on the lake with great views great food. "Very unsafe"
Avoid if you have a family. We unfortunately stay here 2 days ago and had a horrible experience. We got put in a single when we booked a double. The mattress might as well been a box spring with a sheet over it. Super small bathroom with the shower head at 5'. To top it all off, we had someone come in the room at 8am. I went to the front desk to complain about housekeeping coming at 8am & the district manager informed me that that was impossible because housekeeping wasn't there. When asked who all had a master key, she said she wasn't sure. Needless to say we packed up and went to the Holiday Inn.

"My least favorite Best Western "
My family and I stayed April 22nd-24th in room 202. We checked in at 2pm and was told to come back at 3pm that were NO clean rooms. Keep in mind only 2 cars are in the parking lot, so it's not as if all the rooms were occupied. I also find it hard to believe that housekeeping could clean 50+ rooms in one hour unless they had the help of Jesus. I understand check in is at 3pm but let's be honest don't lie and say there aren't any rooms available an hour prior to check in. We finally got to our room and it was damp, and smelled like mold. I'd definitely suggest they get that checked out. Also the TV remote only changed the channel after pushing the channel up button 10-15 times repeatedly, on top of that the bath tub wouldn't drain. So I ended up not taking a shower all weekend. Last but not least there was a hair on my boiled egg, it looked pretty corse so not sure what part of the body it came from. I understand the hotel staff may believe they do everything in their power to make our experience memorable but there's no excuse for all these things to go wrong in one stay.

"Yikes!!!"
Check in went smoothly and the girl was very friendly at the front desk. However, our room smelled terrible & just "felt" dirty. The AC was also super loud. Luckily since we decided not to stay after only a few minutes they let us leave at no charge. If you are traveling on a budget & don't mind a less than clean feeling room maybe this place would be ok for you. Breakfast starts at 5 so it's great for those who need to get an early start.

"Great rooms bad service"
Went to check in at 3:30 and was told rooms were not cleaned yet.We had been killing time since the morning when we got off the cruise ship because we could not not check in early.When I said you told me I couldnt check in til 3:00 its 3:30 she said in a mean voice its not in my control and I said im sorry.I reserved 2 days was charged 2 days,but was told I had 1 day.sheet was stained .Couldnt check in til after 5:00 pm.wife hurt her back trying to carry bags past cleaning cart parked blocking the top of the steps.Breakfast was pancakes an sausage no eggs.Sat in the car for another hour no call checked back said another half hour then half hour latter we see people checking in .Go to the desk and was told oh you were next on the list I was going to call you

We are an exterior property with no elevators. As far as breakfast we do offer at least 20 + other items for breakfast. I assure you we do follow the requirements set for Best Western breakfast....there is always either boiled eggs or scrambled eggs out daily along with a meat product. We do change our menu up daily for our guest who are staying with us for more than one day. Hope you had fun on your cruise!

"Dark, Smelly, and Dingy"
I should have read more of these Trip Advisor reviews prior to booking. We selected this hotel because of its close proximity to NOLA, wanting to save some money on a few nights stay prior to embarking on a cruise. Honestly if I had not paid the non refundable advanced rate, I would have at least found a different location for our second night. The room smelled of mold and seemed dirty. I believe the dark colors are used to hide dirt. The air conditioner was loud and the room was just generally uncomfortable. Only three towels were provided for four of us, both nights. Both nights I had to walk down to the desk and ask for another towel and each time the girl at the front said they only had one left (seems suspicious). The breakfast area is extremely small for the size of the hotel and not enough food was provided. On our second morning, we came down at 9:00 to eat breakfast and there were absolutely no eggs and no milk for cereal. Most everything else was picked over. I would not stay here again.

The breakfast area holds about 30 guest at one time, which is just about half the size of the hotel. We are offer a full breakfast along with 20 + more different items you can choose from. The color scheme of the guest rooms was picked by a Best Western design team. However, I will address the towel issue with the front desk and housekeeping. The humidity in Louisiana does have an effect on the rooms of and exterior property. Hope you enjoyed your cruise.

Facility was clean and comfortable. Close to historical sites. Community had experienced a weather disaster, yet we were welcomed and assured we could get what we needed. The site was full of construction/electrical workers- but was very quiet.

If your are going in or out to the New Orleans Airport (MSY) this is the place to stay 20 minutes to the airport,quick in and out.Several Fast Foods places around this Location. And LaPlace has several great restuarants which are close by. The staff here is Great and very Helpful. And a Great breakfast before you Hit the road. I will not stay anywhere else in the future only here when I fly.

"Good location and helpful staff."
The only bad thing was all entrances are on the outside and there is not an elevator otherwise I would have given them five stars. They had cookies out when we checked in. They also have breakfast in the morning. The room was clean, and the staff was nice and were very helpful pointing us in the right direction to get the items we needed.

"Only one thing I didn't like..."
I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a hotel not that far from where I was working. I almost can't say enough good things about this hotel. Friendly staff that is always willing to help. Typical hotel breakfast but there is enough variety to satisfy most guests. Fresh baked cookies served during the afternoon/evening hours. My suite was simply amazing. I was upgraded to a suite that included a jacuzzi tub and trust me I took advantage of it every night I was there. Large comfortable bed with a ceiling fan. The one thing that I didn't care for is that it has exterior corridors. But even so it was quiet and I completely enjoyed your stay and will stay there again if I'm ever in the area.

"Very clean hotel"
The room was very clean. Breakfast was served everyday. The hotel was near to New Orleans. WI FI was free. It was close to highway 10 which took you to New Orleans. It was very quite. Breakfast was a little different every. The hot choices were changed every day.

"Excellent room, nothing a scented candle won't fix."
Unfortunately, I forgot her name but she was the representative who checked us in. Our guest room was very nice with the exception of the smell. I informed the front desk clerk and she immediately assigned me another room; however, I advised her if the second room smelled the same, I would keep the one I was in. I did(Room 214). I assumed all the rooms had that smell because a relative of mine was in room 203 or 204. She did offer a third room but I didn't want to go through the trouble of moving. The room was modern clean. I know most people say clean but it old properties can only get so clean. This one is up to date with a great bathroom area and the shower is awesome. Just bring a scented candle with you and all is well.
