Best Western Plus Westbank

This was a host hotel for an event we in. This is a renovated motel. It feels like a motel. Pros: The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the restaurant next door was good. Cons: the king bed room we reserved was “given away” and was replaced with 2 queens, the walls are thin (we were awakened by the group nextdoor banging on the door and talking loudly until after 1am), the bars fryer was “not working” so no quick bites to eat, breakfast was mediocre at best. Too many cons to list. We will NOT ever stay here again.

I have diamond status with Best Western, so I have stayed at a lot of Bestwestern hotels, and this one is absolutely the worst. Our family stayed for 4 nights. The service staff were unfriendly to say the least. No one acknowledged guests or even moved their carts while blocking the hallway. The breakfast service person Lulu was just plain rude everyday. Food runs out all the time and was not replenished. First breakfast she yelled at everyone that we should be patient, breakfast won't end till 9:30, as if people don't have plans in their days and are going to stay for hours waiting for breakfast. The rest of the days, she watched the food like a hawk and told people to only take one item per person. The facility is rundown. The entrance to the building has a steep upcline and very uneven ramp, when using the luggage cart, all our bags fell and one cracked hitting the rigged concrete. Our room toilet ring doesn't stay up, so you have to hold it up with one hand when you pee. There was very little closet space in the room. The hot tub broken and was never fixed during our stay. We declined housekeeping, and when you ask for new towels, you must give them the dirty towels and they counted each one before giving you new ones. The hotelnstaff makes you feels like you are being treated as a thief, instead of a guest paying over $200 per night. I wanted to leave the first night we arrived, but it's holiday week and hard to immediately find another property to move to with tired kids after a long drive. I will be never stay here again, and you shouldn't either.

Wonderful stay! The hotel was beautiful and clean. Adonis at check in was friendly welcoming and very informative. I usually do not like hotel breakfasts but this one was delicious with a great variety. The only bad thing I have to say about this hotel is the water pressure could have been better. Other than that it was an amazing anniversary weekend for me and my hubby!

We stayed here due to a wedding in the area. The staff here was less than friendly. Their room service was a joke, and nothing worked. When I expressed our frustration they did nothing about it to help

Got charged for an item that I didn't purchase and at check out waited over an hour for them to contact the person as to why they charged my room. I would never return to this place. Ill let my unit know to avoid at all cost.

This was a last minute weekend stay. Beautiful hotel full of history. The staff greets with a friendly smile. Rooms and hotel are very clean. Forget about going out for breakfast…. The breakfast here is fresh and hot! We'll definitely be back. Thank you Best Western Westbank!

Most hotel visits are mere "stays". An overnight at this Best Western is an experience that will be memorable. The staff checks in inquiring if everything is enjoyable while still checked-in the hotel. The breakfast and service staff are outstanding. The hotel is as clean as it is comfortable.

The house keeping staff is really noisy and rude. Slamming doors and talking loud. The maintenance man is creepy and hides in vacant rooms watching tv with the volume up loud. I couldn't get any sleep at night or rest during the day. Front desk couldn't resolve the issues.

The rooms are roach infested, the guests can be loud in the wee hours of the morning, and your maintenance requests will not be completed. We did not complain about the roaches during our stay because the front desk staff were absolutely wonderful. However, we realized that once they take your money and you leave, customer service no longer exists even when your stay is over $1200 dollars. Well, at least with the general management team. The general manager was the one who prompted me to leave this review after a potential identity theft incident that I brought up to the motel's attention, so I figured if she can't make us happy by simply being accountable for her actions, (inability to properly follow-up and resolve customer issues). I would follow her instructions and leave a review online instead. I recommend this motel if you're okay with your identity possibly being used to book rooms, roach infestations, loud guests, and no responses to maintenance requests. Also, I recommend that if you have any issues that you address them before you leave because once you check out, you'll have to deal with general management who has no regard for anyone else but themselves and they will make sure to remind you of that too when you bring it up to their attention after the fact.I'm

The hotel is clean and the location is easily accessed off main roads. The patience and thoroughness of the front desk reflected experience and sincere caring. When a faulty security door lock and in-room coffee machine needed servicing, both were attended to promptly and their repair exceeded expectations. The breakfast included beignets, which reflected quintessential New Orleans!

Clean rooms, great breakfast, great customer service, good drinks. The breakfast food was the best. The pool and courtyard was very relaxing. Restaurant next door is amazing also. Stay here!! You want be disappointed

I have to admit, I am a bit of a hotel snob and very picky about where I will stay. This place was fantastic. Very clean and affordable. Being first time visitors to the New Orleans area, I'm glad we chose this place to spend our vacation at a opposed to staying in the city. The rooms were very clean, the bed was comfortable and our room was overlooking the beautiful courtyard with a pool and palm trees. We visited the bar in the courtyard where Penny made us some of the best Pina Coladas we've had to date. Such a wonderful stay. We will be back!

For the working man, or value conscious leisure traveler there is just no other choice in the area. Breakfast is superb, every day, rooms are clean and neat as a pin. Front desk is excellent and ambiance is the best. They could easily charge 20% more and still be a bargain. You cannot go wrong here. I've been a customer for 10 years.

The hotel is very clean and has very nice facilities. No complaints from me. I love using this location and it's proximity to places I go to while staying here. I hope to use the other amenities next time I visit.

We had park and cruise package. The hotel was cute but older. However, or room the plugs were too loose to plug in anything - heat did not work so we froze - toilet wouldn't fill so we had to use lobby restroom . Taxi was no-show for park and cruise package with transportation supposedly included so we had to get our own Uber. Only credit 15% for taxi after I insisted. Would not recommend or stay again

This place is great. Nothing fancy but great location & friendly workers. It is near a Target & Sams Club. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. We arrived late at night so we only took advantage of PJs for morning beignets. However, I did try the hotel breakfast and the ethnic food was really good. The other stuff was just the usual fare. We did the park n cruise. They provide the cab ride to the port (about 25 minutes), if you ask. You have to get your own cab back ($8 per person) You can park wherever you want at the hotel. Our car was perfectly fine. We didn't have to go into the hotel when we returned. We put our luggage in the car and took off. I would definitely stay here again. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was functional. I recommend this place for a park and cruise.

We were able to check in early amidst a beautifully decorated Lobby over the Christmas Holidays. The handicapped room was very nice and roomy. The bathroom was well fitted. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was decorative.We really enjoyed the full breakfast meals. The lady in charge was so cheerful (even singing quietly). She was courteous and helpful to everyone. She has been there for years.

Courtyard in center is beautiful, along with a bar/cafe, Every employee we encountered was warm, friendly and helpful! We asked for recommendations for dinner and were given several choices, we ate next door at the seafood restaurant - amazing. If we ever cruise from NOLA again, we will definitely stay here again!!

The hotel is nice but if you plan to pay the park and cruise rate, beware! My car was parked for 7 days and was involved in a hit and run. Initially contacted front desk upon my return. She apologized and gave me the general managers number and informed me to reach out the following day. I reached out and left a voicemail with no return. 6 days later, I called and got ahold of her and she first alleged she didn't have a voicemail but when I told her about my car she remembered my call… she didn't even plan on reaching back out to me. In the end, she said it wasn't Best Westerns problem. Police dept. didn't do anything. Now I have to pay for my car to be repaired after already paying $200 for a one night stay and parking. Poor customer service.

This is by far one of the best hotels in New Orleans. You gotta check it out, it will be worth it! The jacuzzi, staff, and management are excellent. The food was great and the location is the greatest. If you stay here you will not be sorry.

This is the place to stay for cruises out of New Orleans. Park and take their cab service to the port at great savings. It's an older but well-maintained place with amenities. Rooms are comfortable and quiet.

More expensive properties in NOLA are easily found, but better properties than this are few. Management on site, all the time. Maintenance and housekeeping visible all the time. These folks have an investment here and they are taking care of it. I'll not stay anywhere else.

The pictures online are photoshopped by a professional. It was supposed to be hardwood floors but our room had carpet with stains on it. Once we walked into the room there's unbearable smell to it. It just feels disgusting there.

The toilet was broken, the seat and handle and it ran all day and night. The bathroom smelled like mold and moisture. And u can see nasty stuff on the bottom outside tub. The carpet seemed always damp. The ac was not strong. The 1st night we stayed the power was out for like 10 hrs. This caused my baby to be sick, with 103 fever ending up having to bring him to hospital the next day. Our trip was ruined and couldn't do anything the whole time just stay in the nasty room with crappy AC trying to deal with sick baby and bringing his temperature down.

good area, all kinds of places to eat.. great HOT breakfast from 5:30-9:30. pool, hot tub and bar and lounge which also has food. I would stay here again. The ladies at the front desk were awesome. Had a hard time communicating to the house keeping staff though. They had a few casinos within 15 minutes away.

We stayed here for one night before a cruise. The motel is situated around a courtyard with a pool. Teens were in the pool until late hours screaming. Thankfully we brought a fan to drown the noise, but that didn't help the extremely hard mattress on our king bed. I actually laughed when I laid down it in it. It felt like I was laying on a kitchen table. I suppose the pool situation cannot be helped (kids will be kids) but the mattresses need a huge upgrade, at least the one in room 230.

I was billed on my cc days prior to my stay without being notified an error was made. The only way I found out about the error I checked my cc balance and called the hotel myself. When asking housekeeping for towels we were told later and never given a time when towels would be available. During my stay the power went out, but was restored hours later. Our rooms were never cleaned nor trash emptied. There were unsupervised children running in the hallways along with random experiences of marijuana smells permeating through the hallways and vents of the air conditioners in the rooms. And we won't talk about the 2 person holding elevator that had no air. For the amount of money spent for this stay and all experienced, this was definitely less than favorable. We may have received better service at a Super 8.

The room smelled like weed. The bathroom was not clean AT ALL! There was loud noise in the hallway all times of the night. The elevator area was hot like the heater was on. The second day we had to take the stairs because the elevator was out. Every morning we asked for towels and was told by housekeeping when they came to clean the room there where no clean towels, or the towels were in the dryer and they would come back with them. Which they never would. The pool was filthy where you could not see the bottom. Outside of the hardwood floors the room looks nothing like the pictures on the website. The front desk staff is friendly. For the amount of money we spent the room and cleanliness should have been AWHOLE LOT BETTER!!!!!

Attended family wedding earlier in day. Hotel was only 10 mins away. After wedding returned to hotel to change attire to enjoy the evening. We enjoyed the hotel bar near our room! Afterwards walked to other establishments nearby for food n drinks. Great location!

I've stayed at this hotel quite a few times for Guard orders. My experience this last week was the worst I've had. More specifically, the bartender that was working Weds night was unforgivably rude, unapologetic, and incredibly snobby towards me and my fiancé. I have never had such horrible customer service and been treated with such hostility before. That old lady does not deserve to work in that position or at that hotel. She is abhorrent.

Staff was great in greeting us, Location was great for the activities we were doing. The only thing bad is that the floors were sticky and black and we also had to request towels and coffee be brought to the room 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed.

My mom and I traveled to NOLA for a rugby tournament and stayed at the Best Western in Harvey. The hotel was clean, pretty and accommodating. The staff was kind and attentive and the pool area was very nice. My ONLY complaint is the a/c in the rooms was very loud; it's an older establishment so I think that's why. If you like white noise when you sleep you will be fine but it made watching tv difficult and was generally just a bit too loud. I would not let it be a deterrent for booking again, as it was truly my only complaint.

This is a nice hotel with a good breakfast. Several fast food options within walking distance, as well as a Walgreens in case you forgot anything. Very pretty with palm trees in the courtyard and a nice little bar that serves drinks and appetizers.

We booked this best western for 3 reasons. The heated pool, the hot tub, and the mobility room The heated pool is not heated according to the front desk, though it was closed all 3 days we were there so it didn't matter the hot tub jets don't work The mobility room had a few grab bars at the bathtub and a hand held shower. the toilet had no grab bars. the shower seat was split along the bottom so anyone sitting on it would get a good pinch or worse on the back of the thigh The floor was filthy. Our feet and socks were black from walking on it They had a spotlight shining directly into our room The one good thing about this place was the bartender at the little courtyard bar. She was amazing

I'm a travel nurse and it's hard finding suitable places to stay that don't break the bank. My visit here was 3 months and I can honestly say I will not stay anywhere else once I return. From the front desk staff, to maintenance, and housekeepers everyone was great and the breakfast was excellent.

This Best Western Westbank is clean, a great breakfast (better than most!), comfortable bed, a $20 Uber ride to the $2 Ferry across the Mississippi River to the French Quarter, and a secure hotel. Oh and the Courtyard Bar is pretty convenient too. The pool was very nice & a great atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again!! I only gave "Average" for value cause we went when it was "The French Quarter Festival" so EVERYONE had hiked up their prices for their high-demand rooms.

Stayed at this hotel for a group event. Was definitely surprised by this hotel. Already planning another stay. Definitely visit the hotel bar and have Ms Penny make u a drink. Very yummy. Also dont skip breakfast its worth not sleeping in.

My husband and I took a late honeymoon / babymoon here and enjoyed it thoroughly! The curtains blacked-out the room making it easy to sleep in, breakfast was good, the pool and courtyard area was beautiful, and the bed was comfy. Location was perfect for the events and restaurants we wanted to visit while in New Orleans.

I flew in to meet friends. I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It was spotless. The room was huge. The set up of the hotel felt like a balcony in the French Quarter. The staff was friendly and attentive, The staff in the cafe were friendly and the food was good.

We stayed 3 days and we had an enjoyable stay. The location was not far from 90 so it was easy getting into the city. Great job servicing the room. The breakfast was one of the better breakfast. I do want to compliment them on the grits. On our last day, there was a high school band there so breakfast was crowded and they did an excellent job of having enough food and servicing everyone. I would certainly stay here again.

Lovely hotel. Has a very nice bar area and a courtyard that is pleasing to the eye. Our next trip back to Nola we will stay here and tack on extra days simply to enjoy the hotel's restaurant/bar, courtyard, pool, and hot tub! Enjoy a mini vacation while on vacation! Relaxing atmosphere and everything you want in a hotel, they have in style!

Staff was wonderful. Clean rooms but the beds were horrible. My body is still aching. Please throw your beds out. Need new towels they were kid size for adults. Young man (from Atlanta) at the desk was very helpful and great customer service. Saturday morning I requested a new room with a newer bed the young lady was so accommodating and change my room.

Though the catwalk like environment was a bit different It was a very beautiful property I was only there for one night, but it was a very pleasant stay, the gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating and professional I will definitely be back preferably when the weather's warm to enjoy the poolside amenities.

It is a wonderful experience to stay in this hotel with a castle like yard. It gives us a feeling of safety and home. We spent one night on our Thanksgiving Getaway to the Key Wests. The holiday decorations are gorgeous. The breakfast is great. Glad to have my Thanksgiving breakfast in the hotel.

I liked the physical plant of the hotel and the breakfast was good but neither my nor my wife's laptop would connect with the internet they "provided" despite 1/2 hour on the phone with the service they used to provide the internet. I asked for a partial refund but was denied in part the manager said because the internet connection was not provided by the hotel (they would not take responsibility for providing the service they advertised.

Stayed at this location after my original choice was damaged from recent hurricane. Wasn't my favorite choice of locations since our activities were in the city. Arrived at 2:40 PM and was told by front desk clerk that check in time was at 3:00 PM and that I needed to come back at that time. When asked if they had any rooms ready the clerk advised that check in was at 3 at that I needed to come back. This is an older property it appears to be well maintained. The rooms are smaller than what I am accustomed to but seemed clean to which I was relieved. The breakfast selections were better than most hotels offer and the service here was excellent. I would recommend this location only if you need to be in that area.

Good hot breakfast, plenty of options, clean room. Nice pool, hot tub working, free parking, safe neighborhood, ,decent value for the money. Would stay again, when visiting NOLA area. Parking was safe, and hotel was clean and had nice gym area.

Stephanie Self truly cared about our Executives Meeting, and accommodated our requests in a very short time frame. Hotel team is super friendly, especially Brandy at front desk and Lulu in our meeting room. Ample free parking. We would definitely use Best Western in Harvey, again.

The staff at Best Western had to have been the most efficient, friendly and sincere group of people I've ever met working at a hotel. A good majority of the of these wonderful people have been there for 20 plus years. That says a lot. One of the best experience at a hotel, especially since I was having cervical surgery...they looked after me. Exceptional.

The Managers are awesome as well as their staff. They made everything easy and smooth for us to check in and also with prepping the meeting room for our dinner rehearsal. Our stay was very relaxing because of the staff and to make it even better the breakfast is great!!! Hidden Gem!

I love staying here when I work on the Westbank. The pool and bar area are a great place to relax. The property is always clean and the staff go out of their way to treat you right. The full hot breakfast is welcomed especially since so many hotels have ceased their breakfast and gone to grab bags. Not here, full breakfast served to you to get your day started right. Tip of the hat to the front desk staff for always treating customers like family.

My family and I loved the friendly staff, cleanliness and delicious food. Looking forward to staying with you all again in July. Oh, love the pool scenery. It was beautiful, even though we didn't to swim due to the rain.

Clean and friendly service I had no problems security patrols the grounds all day and night to assure you that you are in a safe place and the jacuzzi was at a nice temperature it just needs a nonskid rug or something to prevent people from falling

Excellent reception, exceptionally clean rooms, just a great experience. The beds were comfortable and the linen was very comfortable. We received a free cookie and from beginning to end we could not have asked for a better nights rest.

This hotel allowed a stranger to walk in and provide a name, number or email then pulled my account up and made a reservation on my account. The person was not authorized and the clerk should not have pulled up my account nor made the reservation.

This was one of, if not the best, hotel experience I've ever had. Excellent hotel staff, very clean room, easy parking and building access. Close enough to downtown NO without paying too much. Plenty of restaurants, daiquiri spots & shopping nearby.

The staff has been working hard to follow all the regulations of covid and giving excellent service to it's guests. The breakfasts were once again hot and fresh and the dinging room wait staff were friendly ! The housekeeping staff were on point. Penny the bartender gave us great suggestions for dinner !

I travel to Louisiana regularly to visit family. I can honestly say that all the other hotels where I've stayed always smelled of mold, the rooms are always damp and the atmosphere's have not been positive. I was pleasantly surprised to find this rare gem. Everyone, the front desk clerks, the breakfast hostess, house keepers, security and my friendly bartender Penny, were absolutely amazing. They were all smiles and pleasant gestures. Upon entering the courtyard area, to get to my room, I was stunned by the beauty of their gardens. When visiting my family in the future, this will be home away from home, I have no intentions of staying anywhere else. Excellent job, Best Western Plus Westbank!!!

I deserve a refund. Roaches notice during the last night and early morning before my check out. It was too late to ask for another room. I should have paid attention to the reviews because roaches were mentioned and a few of the reviews. But I thought it was just disgruntled customers. I'll pay more attention next time. Staff are very nice and had everything we could possibly need. A special shout out to Mr.Barry. As busy as he was he was patient and kind to everyone. He is great at multitasking too.Will def visit again

This location is close to everything we needed with pleasant and safe surroundings. The Hotel is easy to find and near shopping centers, restaurants, and a Casino. The desk clerks were always attentive and housekeeping was excellent.

Staff is not very friendly and never smiled or in anyway acted like they appreciated our business. The hot buffet breakfast is literally microwave biscuit sandwiches, fruit, cereal, and nature valley bars. The pool and hot tub weren't working and we weren't compensated for not being able to use this major amenity. The tubs backed up. The housekeeping staff is super rude and refused our request of extra towels so every night I'd have to go down to the lobby and make the request to them then a very nice man would come swap them for the dirties...really? The entire hotel reeks of marijuana, and the rooms smelled like fish tanks. Beds are hard. Sheets worn to threadbare. Pillows are lumpy. Honestly there wasn't any part of the hotel I enjoyed. Also, NOT family friendly.

First, the pool was closed. 2nd room smelled like mildew. I woke up with a headache daily. 3rd, my daughter got bit up by bugs while sleeping. 4th, didn't have the usual breakfast of buffet style. Staff was really nice though!

Just like the city herself, BW+ Harvey is aged, beautiful, and busy. The rooms surround a gorgeous courtyard whose centerpiece is a vibrant sun lit pool. The sounds of children enjoying life can be heard all over all day, you would be heartless to not love that sound, so business execs you may wanna check elsewhere. The rooms themselves are beautiful but you can see their age as settle in. The gadgets and lights, beds, and other furniture are all new but the wall outlets, room designs, and even electronics placement tells her age. The bed was comfy and pillows were perfect. Most importantly the staff were all very courteous, friendly, and helpful. We will return soon

The hotel was very clean no I wanted guest as in bugs the kids really enjoyed their self with everything that's going on in the world they needed a break to have fun and the beds was so soft and the body wash smell so good I need to know where they come from Soni can buy that for my house

This is my first choice for extended stays when I travel for work. Great amenities for the person on vacation; Pool, Bar, Hot Tub, Gym. The Wi-Fi is stable for work use. Secure access to rooms and inner portions of the hotel. Great continental breakfast. A CVS Pharmacy 100 feet away for any missing article for travel. A 20-minute drive to the center of New Orleans tourism.

Wonderful staff, amazing location, super beautiful hotel, nicely maintained to make gues feel the french surroundings, clean rooms, nice breakfast and staff pays close attnetion to cleanliness and give guest best services, bar is nicely located - good prices for buy one get one coupon we get on check in, closely located to New Orleans-15-20 minute drive, walking restaurants available close by, overall it was a wonderful experience

We were allowed to check in early. The staff was very accommodating. Everyone at the front desk smiled and was very helpful. The courtyard is beautiful! The location is within walking distance of several good restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

The Best Western Westbank exceeded our expectations! The entire property is spotless and well maintained. Rooms are all updated. The entire staff from the front desk to grounds crew were all friendly and helpful. The center courtyard is fabulous. If you are ever in need of a place to stay while in New Orleans and don't want to stay downtown I highly recommend Best Western Westbank!

The hotel was GREAT. Easy to find, great location and nice facility. The only issue...it had a nice bar on site but the 2nd night of our stay, closed down for renovations :(. We stayed 2 days prior to our 7 day cruise so it was fairly close to the port (about 10 mins) and pretty centrally located. The pool was nice and and enclosed hot tub, it would just be a little nicer if the kids were not allowed in the hot tub passed say, 9pm. The bar/restaurant next door to the property was nice being it was our first time in NOLA, the food was pretty good and authentic. It's actually in walking distance to many conveniences like Walgreens, gas station, barber/beauty shop, dauquari bar and such. I will definitely stay again. The only issue was our room was close to the elevator so the noisey drunk people were coming and going but not that big of a deal. The breakfast was also good....pancakes, grits, oatmeal, eggs, sausage - including turkey sausage, biscuits, gravy and more. Pool and exercise room.

I was really excited upon reading the reviews for this hotel when we booked it on Hotwire! It is in a great location close to downtown and there is plenty of parking. The area felt safe. My husband and I both commented on the attractive landscaping and the overall vintage feel of the property. It definitely fit the NOLA vibe! The value is fair for the type of room you get. Unfortunately our room was just average and could have felt a little cleaner. There was some cosmetic issues in the bathroom area but nothing major. We didn't feel any of our complaints were serious enough to notify the front desk. Upon check in they were so nice and I'm sure they would have helped us if we would have said something! We checked in and left immediately so we didn't realize how uncomfortable the beds were until the middle of the night when we got back. We were so tired that we didn't even care at that point. Unfortunately both of us tossed and turned all night and woke up extremely sore. If they would improve the bed situation this hotel would be almost perfect! We chose not to notify the hotel staff of our concerns since our trip was so quick and our complaints were minor in the grand scheme of things. As I said earlier the staff was great and I'm sure they would have given us a different room if we would have asked. It's possible we just had a fluke of a room as this property has so many excellent 5 star reviews! We would stay here again due to the location and reasonable rate. We would just cross our fingers for a better mattress!

I've stayed many nights at this Best Western. Sure, the rooms are nice. Absolutely, the breakfast options are delicious. Great, game he fitness room is great. Wow, the pool area is beautiful. And the poolside bar is quaint. BUT, those reasons aren't the main reasons why I stay. Nope, not at all. I mostly choose to stay here because of the staff. Kimberly, Kate, Jenny, Stephanie, and Barry have become like my family. They've made me feel welcomed...my home away from home

Great place to stay just outside of New Orleans. Lots of places to eat around hotel. super clean, would stay again. Parking lot was a little tricky getting in and out of. Front desk staff was friendly.

we stayed here 1/11/2020. Been here before and always have a great experience. This time was no different. Staff was and great weather was agreeable. It was BCS Championship weekend, however we were able to get a room for one night.

Staying at the Best Western in Harvey is really the best way to visit New Orleans. You are at most 10 minutes from downtown, there are dozens of nice restaurants nearby, and the money you save on the room will allow you to do more fun things!

Our experience was wonderful! The staff is super friendly and the entire property is maintained beautifully. Hats off to the staff who seem to care for the property and guests as if the were the owner. The courtyard is clean and beautiful. The hot tub was so soothing at the end of a long day. We enjoyed the expansive hot breakfast free with our stay. The staff kept the breakfast area clean and well stocked with fresh food. If you looking for a great place to stay that is sure to leave you smiling, look no further! This is the place you should stay. We stayed three nights and were super impressed in every way. Hardwood floors (Yes); very warm staff and the room was very impressive. Reminded me of the French Quarter; decors and everything. Breakfast included held wide variety selections which were very good.

We had a loved one leaving for the Navy and staying at Best Western Plus with other military applicants. This was VERY accomodating and allowed us to spend some extra time with our loved one. We also were very close to the military base in which we had to go to the next morning. The set up of the hotel was excellent, clean and we will definitely return. We felt safe, as the entrance to rooms were inside the courtyard, not accessible to the parking lot. The rooms were carpet free, which is a HUGE thing for our allergies. Bedding was clean (I'm picky about this).

Great hotel and location. Breakfast was very good, and probably the best hotel coffee I have had in quite a while. A very nice courtyard with a bar. No roof over it so could be chilly or wet. Rooms were great, comfortable bed.

It was very clean. The staff was excellent and I enjoyed the breakfast. Very clean and the courtyard was beautiful! I loved the way the room smelled upon arrival. I also liked the wall dispensers for the body wash, shampoo and conditioner. You guys rock!

Excellent hotel on the Westbank. Easy drive to the French Quarter. Excelent breakfast buffet and friendly service. Always stay there when visiting family for Thanksgiving. Would definitely recommend staying here, yet still be close to the French Quarter.

This Thanksgiving my husband and I stayed at this hotel. This has been my 4th stay with Best Western Plus on Lapalco and I will never stay anywhere else in the city. This hotel is extremely well taken care of and the staff is impeccable. We love it there and will continue to stay there every visit to Marrero LA.

The motel is only a short drive to downtown but has restuarants around it that are very good. Free parking, nice rooms, great pool area, two elevators. The breakfast was great with pancakes, sausage gravy, eggs, grits, sausage and beacon.

The hotel is a good area. Very close to restaurants and there is even a pharmacy in the adjacent parking lot. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and plentiful. The courtyard was a nice beautiful touch to a budget friendly hotel. Will definitely stay again!

We used this hotel's park and cruise package. The rooms were nice and the staff were exceptional. The cab driver was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely use this hotel again and again.

We had a great time and the hotel was very nice. The only problem we had was an adjoining room where we could here the people next door. Next time we will ask not to be put in an adjoining room other than that everything was great!

Best Western Westbank was easy to access using GPS from the city. Do watch those merge lanes, though! My room was fine - clean, refreshed daily, fridge, microwave, coffee maker , hairdryer all fine. THe weather was unseasonable cold so I did not get to use the courtyard pool, but it looks nice. CVS pharmacy right next door, lots of restaurants and other stores (Hobby Lobby!) (I know, but it's a big thing for Canadian crafters) nearby. Desk staff were pleasant and helpful. In my friend's room, the heating/air conditioning unit made a huge noise in the middle of the night and quit. It was replaced while we were out the next day. Then my unit was non-functional (maybe these things are not used to operating in heat mode?), and not addressed tho I was promised 3 times that the Maintenance fellow was coming, so I was offered another room. The second groom was newly renovated, with vinyl plank floors rather than carpet, nicely tiled shower enclosure, upgraded furniture. The evening maintenance man is incredibly pleasant, attentive and helpful (as opposed to the non-existent daytime guy) and actually helped me move my things. Would I stay here again? Yes.

The hotel itself was nice-clean room-nice area. When we tried to check in with our group(we had reservations and confirmation #s)some of our group were told they didn't have any more rooms. some were told their room was given to someone else. Check in staff was not helpful at all and at times was rude to some of us.

The Best Western Plus Westbank provided a lovely last minute stay for my paramour and I. We were very happy to be in such a great location with plenty of pharmacy and food options right next door. We got lucky with a corner room and were pleasantly surprised to see hardwood floors in the room. The fridge worked great and the bed was heavenly. Would 10/10 recommend this spot to friends and family.

Considering the time booked, the price was ok. Cute little place to stay. About 20 minutes to the city center if no traffic. Rooms are pretty basic and served the purpose in which it was needed. Thanks!

This is a 3 star hotel with 5 star staff and amenities! It is beautifully decorated with renovated rooms, small, with everything you need! All rooms open to a gorgeous courtyard with large pool, a indoor spa and bar/lounge poolside. The landscape is Neworleans garden style and was simply beautiful. I did not expect this from a best western! A real breakfast is served every morning with every hot or cold breakfast food you can think of from eggs and grits to pancakes to fresh fruit and yogurt! The staff is friendly and top notch in regards 2 customer satisfaction. I have an allergy they accommodated with no problem and made my experience here memorable! Its about 15 minutes from Bourbon and the french Quarter so plan to spend 20=25$ on Lyfts or Ubers if you are going out to party. All n all we will be back!

The room was immaculate, the front desk could not have been more helpful and fit us in even though we hadn't made resevations this time. The staff is very friendly and breakfast in the morning was excellent as usual. The dining area is spotless and the ladies keep everything filled and clean. It is always an enjoyable experience !

This is our second stay while visiting New Orleans. And again I can not mention anything that is not good. The rooms are still clean, spacious and have very comfortable beds. There is very friendly staf who will help you with every question you have. And to start the day you can get an excellent breakfast with lots of options to choose from. It is not a budget hotel but it is worth the money. I will definitely be back when in the area.

After a very long trip I was assured a rollaway bed would be in the room. We had to wait. Bugs in bathroom, dust and cobwebs in sleeping area. Air conditioner was very noisy. The breakfast was very good

Our room was recently remodeled but the mattress was questionable. I like a cold room and the HAVAC (window unit) couldn't get as low as I wanted. The breakfast was good but over the Labor Day weekend they had a hard time keeping up with the rush, however, i don't blame the ladies working in the breakfast area. The pool look great and a lot of people were enjoying. The outside bar looked inviting too!

Easy access to French Quarters. Quiet, Clean, friendly staff, Great Manager named Barry. Great Breakfast staff. Every store and restaurant that you need is right in the area. Even the post office is close.

More Bang for the Buck. This is an awesome hotel located within walking distance of several fast food and authentic New Orleans restaurants. Walmart, Sam's, Target are less than a mile away. Very clean, quiet, and an awesome manager and staff. You get way more than what you paid for.

My Bank card was over charged by Manager, staff and myself had to wait on Manager to E- mail bank informing them of ERROR and to please release funds! Big Inconvenience to my Travel, back to Houston TX.

My wife and niece had bed bug bites after staying one night here. Them getting bit was not the worst part; it is the paranoia that the little critters can hitch a ride home with us that is so unnerving. Besides we had a very awkward run-in with the hotel owner. While swimming at the pool in the afternoon, the maintenance man was sent out to inquire if we were staying at the hotel. He led me to the owner who was sitting outside the lobby smoking, where she accused us of sneaking into the hotel to swim at the pool. The way she handled the situation was unprofessional. The pool and courtyard area are fantastic, and the free hot breakfast was excellent. Despite these good qualities I can not recommend staying anywhere there is a bed bug problem.

The hotel staff overall was professional and nice.Very clean and quiet hotel.Not too busy nor alot of traffic within.I left a couple items in the room after check out and the front desk clerk didnt hesitate to take my information and got my belongings shipped out to me right away.

reserved a double room with two rooms and one bed in each. called to make sure it was two connected rooms and each with a bed. when we got there we were told a double room was just a room with two queen beds and we were overcharged. bad service.

Usually one of my favorite hotels to stay in but this time there were drunks running around until 3:30 am. Very disappointed that the hotel lets this happen. They need to hire security guards to patrol the enclosed area.

This is a great best western....there is plenty of food choices in the area and your only minutes away from having a great time in the city. The pool is super fun to get into at night and just relax. Hope you stay

This hotel was clean and in a good location. The front desk staff were very helpful. They recommended a restaurant for us for lunch while we waited for our room to be ready to check-in. The restaurant, Copelands. was awesome. Room was a little noisy as people came by later in the evening, but nothing that was too loud. The beds were clean but a little uncomfortable.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in February 2019. We wanted to spend our 10th anniversary in New Orleans. This hotel was perfect. It was close to everything and a quick drive to Bourbon St. Our room was clean. The breakfast was good and the bar was nice. The attached restaurant had the best chargrilled oysters!!! The hotel staff was very nice. My husband and I got back to South Carolina and realized that we left a bag in the room with gifts for our children. I called the hotel back thinking this is a lost cause but........they mailed our bag to us. I thought that was awesome, and I knew that the next time we go to New Orleans we will definitely stay at the Best Western Plus!!!!!

Made a reservation with late check in. Arrived 10 o'clock, found loitering ln thr parking lot and what appeared to be undesirable activity. Left snd asked for cancellation. Was charged anyway. Avoid this place, folks!

I had a terrible stay here. When I first arrived my room had so many mosquitoes. I killed 4 within a 5 minute window. We requested a room change and got it. The new room was better, but there were still bugs every now and then. On my last night there, I found a dead bug in my "CLEAN" towel... The free breakfast was so terrible, I didn't even eat it after that first try. Because the hotel is an open area, all the rooms basically face the pool area. At night there would be so much noise from the visitors at the area you wouldn't be able to get a good nights rest.

Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised that the carpet had been removed and wood laminate had been put down. We had a first floor accessibility room. We were disappointed with the noisy Hvac and noisy refrigerator. Hopefully, all the rooms are being upgraded. We will probably give it one more try since we visit the area about 3 times a year. We like the location proximity to our vacation activities and access to bargain shopping and nice restaurants.

Hotel was clean and provided nice fluffy towels. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Breakfast was good and filling. Would prefer more coffee in room. Pool and patio area was very nice. We were on 1st floor right next to pool area and room was very quiet. Will stay here again.

I really love the look and feel of this hotel. But it's not really for sexually active singles. I was on a work trip and when I trip I like to do hookups. The only problem is the side door had a key card lock and that's really annoying. I ended up having to leave my key in a hidden spot. This hotel is perfect for couples and family's. But not singles, it's clean and beautiful but not for singles. And the location is perfect and everything is in walking distance.

This was a beautiful hotel with great service we really enjoyed the breakfast and the atrium view. The renovations that they are preforming are beautiful and I love the floors and bedding in the hotel rooms

We have stayed at this hotel several times before, and this is my choice hotel in the area. I found the hotel to be even better than the last time. The receptionists were polite and friendly, and Barry, in particular, was able to answer our questions about the area and about our payment. They had fresh baked cookies awaiting. But best of all was complementary fresh hot coffee - exactly what I needed after a long day of traveling. The room was renovated and super comfortable. It was spacious, and well laid out. Our room came decked out with a Micro Fridge (double the size of a mini fridge) and microwave so we could have our delicious left over Dungenous Crab (from Zeideco restaurant) the next day in the courtyard garden by the pool and hot tub. There we tons of outlets and USB ports in the room, so charging was not at all a problem, and they had pool towels right there in the room. I made one small maintenance request at the desk about a lightbulb. To me, not a big deal at all. The maintenance man, Mike, came within 5 minutes to take care of it. I told them it was no rush, but I like that they made it a priority to take care of it right away. The courtyard is beautifully decorated with lots of patio furniture and a gazebo bar (cash only). So you could have cocktails in the garden. Play cards. Let the kids jump in the pool. Just a very relaxing ambiance. The complementary breakfast was really good: cereal and bagels, eggs and sausage, cheese grits, fresh pancakes made while you wait, fresh yogurt with toppings, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, and plenty of Community brand Coffee - a local favorite. The flavored one was Pecan Praline - we're in New Orleans, ya know! LOL. The women, Lulu and Katie, working in the café did an amazing job keeping the place spotless and making sure we had the most comfortable seat taking into account Mom having a walker. They were friendly and super helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Staff are lazy, front desk has a lack of knowledge when it comes to questions. They snatch the money out of your account doing prebooking i dont like that. And over charged me with too 25 dollar holds on my card which they took out for i don't know what. Just very on unorganized, my room wasnt ready time of check in. And the white guy at the front counter who works overnight was really mean!

My son and I visit the New Orleans area every year in April. We have stayed at this Best Western for the last three years. Great deal and easy access to NOLA. We will continue to go there for the foreseeable future.

I really enjoyed the stay. I enjoyed the food and the quality of the room. The hotel staff did and excellent job ensuring that everything was perfect. The internet service was excellent also. I did not use the shuttle.

It's close to the French Quarter, but without the heavy traffic. Our room was contemporary and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Our breakfast was very good. The open courtyard is beautiful and we loved the hot tub.

Have stayed before. If something is empty(shampoo, Soap, etc) they fill right away. Rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast is best of anywhere I have stayed. Lots of stores and eateries around to walk to. Breakfast people are great as is front desk. Pool & hot tub are always good. Courtyard bar has not been opened every time I was there but so what, BYOB with plastic cup!!!!! Great stay and would never stay anywhere else.

In staying at the Best Western plus in New Orleans we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was a renovated old school hotel built around a large center yard complete with a beautiful pool and many tables and chairs. The staff were very friendly (other than a security guard who was abrupt and a little too proud of his power), but overall we found the location the staff and the facility to be very very nice :-)

We had a comfortable stay, with everything we needed. Staff were attentive and cheerful. Breakfast was full service, hot and cold. Good coffee and ripe fresh fruit, too. Desk helped with finding transport we needed, so we were right at home.

I stay here for work on a continuing basis. I bring a crew. We are always satisfied. Good maintenance. You can tell that they work hard to keep things up. Great value for the money, great location. Close to all you would ever need. Pharmacy right next door. They now have the restaurant leased, and I understand it is good, but have never tried it. Good breakfast. Upper level considering it is a hotel breakfast. Good staff. Now, when I am traveling here and bringing my wife we stay here.

Clean rooms, beautiful pool area, heated whirlpool and hot breakfast included. All at a low price. Stayed here before heading to the port for a cruise. Several on the same cruise paid over $400 a night to stay near port. We were 20 minutes away for nearly 300 less.

The hotel was very clean and accommodating. The front desk staff was very friendly and there was a restaurant attached to the hotel. By the way the food in the restaurant was very good cheese fries were great. There is a pool, and fitness facility at the hotel. There is a Target store within walking distance in case you need or left something home. The hotel will arrange for a trip to the ship but you have to arrange your own way back. You can leave your vehicle at the hotel while you cruise if you drove to New Orleans. I would gladly stay there again

It was an older hotel that had been remodeled. It was a good valu and the staff was friendly. It was located centurally to several stores and restaurants. There was a very nice complimentary breakfast.

A beautiful hotel; however, the sheets on the bed were stained with large yellow spot. After informing front desk, Housekeeping came and brought new sheets. Children ran all night until 4am disrupting sleep

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL, THEY HAVE HIDDEN RULES!!! Unlike most hotels who charge their customers upon chech-in or check-out, this hotel charges guests 48hrs before they check in. Too bad our group found this out the hard way. My group booked our room on 12/31/18 for an event in March 2019. We recieved only a single sheet (pdf) confirmation with no explaination of booking policies or rules attached. On March 7, the person who booked the room called the hotel to make changes to our reservation but was not able to but the agent stated our reservation was set and did not mention any problems with payment. So on March 8, as our group was traveling (literally on the road) from Pensacola to Harvey, LA for a large event, we get a call (around 1PM) from booking agent Barry, who tells us he ran the card that morning and because it declined he was canceling our reservation. We immediately offered another form of payment but he vehemently refused stating he had taken the time to locate another hotel for us (1King and pullout)(Not Cool for 4 people) and we must go there instead. We pleaded with him, told him we were expected to be at an event that had BLOCKED over 50 rooms with his hotel so how could he just kick us out so carelessly??? Barry, refused to listen, refused to give us his supervisor name/number, said the hotel was full and gave our room away. We were STUNNED to say the least. We wondered how could he book us another hotel with a card that DECLINED?? We FRANTICALLY called around for about 30 minutes trying to find another hotel in a city we were not familiar with. IT WAS VERY NERVE RACKING. We were supposed to be with our group of 15 but 4 of us was displaced unfairly by Barry @ BEST WESTERN PLUS. We called BW/CS they told us this location is an independent hotel but was surprised at what happened and that BARRY would not accept another form of payment.

The breakfast was nice, the staff was friendly and very helpful, and the beds felt great. Even tho we didn't get to enjoy the pool area, the set up was beautiful.I also left my blanket and they sent it right away.

Our group had reservations and one room was cancelled with no notice. We had to be separated by 11 miles for the event we came for. This hotel was recommended as the group hotel and they did nothing to accommodate all of the people in our party. The television channels didn't work, unless it was a news program and the beds were very hard. The best thing about the hotel was the breakfast, which ran out quickly and it was newly renovated.

My family stays here every year for Mardi Gras!!! It is awesome and affordable during this time of the year. I love the surrounding area walking distance to food shop. Staff is friendly even though they didn't speak to much English. Everything was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Stayed here the night before our NOLA cruise. Pretty good value, comparing places near the port. Property was clean and rooms were nice. A bit far from the airport and not bad to the port. Property had a very nice courtyard that we did not use due to heavy rain. Breakfast was above average and there was plenty of room to sit, Did not eat dinner in the area due to delayed flight and rain in the area. I would stay there again.

The hotel is a little on the old side, Being renovated/panted. Staff is nice and very accomidating and friendly. Clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast, convienant to New Orleans metro area. For the price and locale I would say a good deal and comfortable but all just shy of great.

Express check in was very fast less than five minutes to get keys. Was given warm cookies at check in. Attendant at desk very nice anytime I came to desk. Room was clean. Toilet clogged came to repair within 7 minutes of call. Security outside at night made for good safety and maintained kept property quiet. Property very well maintained. Very clean, beautiful courtyard. This hotel was much more than you would expect from Best Western. I am very picky, but I would stay here again. Was very pleased.

Let me start off by saying the hotel and staff would warrant a 5 star review from me other than how I was treated by a Assistant Mgr - Barry. He called two days prior to our stay, basically demanding payment for our stay, bc the card we'd held our stay on had already had the funds pulled and he attempted to pre charge us (which I'd never heard of before this but OK) bc we had already pulled the funds bc we pay in cash (envelope system). When I called the number back, asking questions, not knowing if it was a hoax or scam, he was VERY curt, basically said-pay by tomorrow at noon or your stay is canceled. Mind you this was a hotel we'd booked 3 months ahead and had built into us leaving our SUV there for the week while cruising. So I three way my husband bc I was concerned it was a hoax, and had him join in the conversation, and basically was SCREAMED at by Barry, denying he'd said he'd send me an email with these details, even though I have plain as day to this day still the voicemail of him saying it. You couldn't get a word in edge wise, constantly talking over me and my husband, he was the absolute rudest Mgr I've ever dealt with in a hotel setting or other setting for that matter. We never could get ahold of the actual manager he was managing her calls that day. If it wasn't for everything booked we'd definitely had canceled based on how we were treated before we even arrived. So actual general manager- if you're reading this, Barry needs a few refresher courses on how to treat clients bc I was basically treated like a hardened criminal before I even showed up. Other than that, hotel was great, the front desk staff was very pleasant, two thumbs up to Kate she was very sweet. Great free breakfast and can't beat the cruise & park rate. Would have been a 5 star review if not for how we were treated by Barry.

I WOULD not Trade this hotel for nothing, It VERY Cleaner and has a nice luxury pool water in the pool always clean looks like you on and island customer services are always nice and helpful, hotel is around 1-2 minutes walking from eaters plaxes

Breakfast was excellent and had good hours of service. Courtyard was attractive, clean and nice. Rooms were exterior corridor in courtyard. The wifi worked great and was free. It was maybe 20 minutes from FQ with traffic.

Very nice location and amenities were very good. You have a large pool, enclosed whirlpool, poolside bar and fitness center. Looked amazing. The only complaint was all of the noise. Bar was 0utside our room and you can hear the guests walking in the room above you. The noise subsided around 1am. stay away from rooms 100-110 and stay on the top floor.

Our group consisting of three couples traveling from Milwaukee stayed three nights. During our stay, there was never one time we were disappointed. Wonderful friendly staff, spotlessly clean, delicious food, absolutely enjoyed it. Breakfast was amazing and the restaurant on the property for evening meals, was some of the best food we have ever had.

The rooms were neat and clean. The outside has an excellent view at night. The breakfast was tasty and enjoyable with a nice atmosphere. We were on a tour bus so they had many people to take care of all at once. The transaction ran smoothly and we had our key in our hand in a matter of minutes.

My family and I had 3 rooms. We were staying for a tournament. The rooms had a consistent order regardless when we put carpet fresh down every night and sprayed Febreeze. By the time we returned the order was back. Also, I got a bite on my neck and leg. When both of my granddaughters slept with me there got bites as well. However, the staff was friendly and tried to be as helpful as they could.

We've stayed there for 5 days , rooms clean, nice atmosphere, family oriented, in general everyone was kind , but the older lady in the cafeteria was not in her best days a bit grouchy other than that no complaints, I would return.

Love this property !! Great location,easy access to local sites,restaurants, and shopping ! Great staff ! Beautful decorations for the holidays ! This was our second stay here and we were very pleased. The breakfast was hot and everything was VERY CLEAN ! The air conditioning worked beautifully, the mattresses comfortable and the showers hot and great water pressure.

As the lobby has recently been remodeled and updated, you enter and are greeted with elegance and class. The complimentary breakfast is simply amazing! While the rooms and common areas could use some updates, this is a great hotel!

This hotel is always ready for us with the appropriate tables and chairs. Staff is courteous and welcomes our students. Always available for any questions or concerns. We are in this facility four times a year for many years.

The location and staff are great. I really appreciate the service. I will return. The room was just right and so clean. The staff was beyond nice. Restaurants near and a Walmart. Just seconds from the interstate.

We chose this hotel because the pictures on the website had rooms with no carpet. The TV had a defect, and the conditioner dispenser in the bathroom didn't work. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. The room was nice, neat, and clean.

Clean, comfortable rooms. The courtyard is beautiful. Nice place to have coffee and listen to the birds sing! The breakfast was delicious, with a nice selection. All the staff from the breakfast area to the front desk were courteous and helpful.

We were surprised at how nice it was once we got there. Better than most Best Westerns we have stayed at. The staff was polite and efficient. The exterior doesn't look great, but the interior courtyard was quite nice.

Best Western has always been my 2nd choice when staying in New Orleans but this visit was a little different. For starters, rooms were not ready; we came about 1:45 close to 12 because we had an event for 5:30 on the other side of the river and was not able to be accommodated until the check in time 3:00 p.m. The room we received I was told today by the manager Stephanie that it is the new modern look the hotel was going for in the near future. Here is what went wrong! 1) the room had a sofa bed that apparently a previous occupant discovered, opened the mattress and the mattress was dirty. The mattress plastic had a big open hole and you can see the dirt on the mattress. However; I was told today per Stephanie that because they did not advertise the room with a sofa bed it was nothing she could do about it. 2)The covers for the bed was a bit on the light side and we felt that housekeeping must have missed something, but fact is they have downgraded from quality covers to thin sheets with thin covers. Again, Stephanie told me this was the new look. We ask front desk to send up 2 blankets, and they sent us one. The last issue was the room door. Apparently the doors do not close unless you pull tight or slam them. My husband felt in his heart the door may have not shut completely and at this point we were too far from the hotel to turn around. We called the hotel, the front desk clerk Jennie said she would send someone up to check. That never happened. When we arrived back to our room after 12:30 a.m. all I had to do was push my door open, without using my door key. I was very disappointed. All of our belongings, including personal information could have been stolen and the hotel would have never assumed responsibility had that happen. I expressed my dissatisfaction in our stay this time around and the clerk directed me to Stephanie the manager. Stephanie could give to lovely cares about our stay because one it took me 3 calls at different times to reach her, and she expressed to me that she didn't check her voicemail. She never assumed any responsibility only generic rebuttals, until I expressed the lack of customer service the hotel industry is heading towards. I said that Best Western prides themselves in being #1 in customer satisfaction and I did not feel that

I booked this location for their "Park and Cruise" package, which is a terrific savings for parking at the Cruise Ship Terminal. The accomomdations were fantastic, along with the Courtyard pool, jacuzzi and Bar! The free hot breakfast was nothing short of excellent! I will certainly be back at this wonderful hotel! Nicely Done Best Western Plus, Westbank!

Only stayed 1 night for a layover from our fishing trip. Good location with lots of restaurants near by. The room was adequate King bed, with fridge and microwave. Carpet was damp. Internet service was good but the most important thing was we felt safe.

Front desk was not very welcoming or informative. Bartender was so drunk and loud. The worst part was morning we were leaving the tub would not drain. I was in the shower and had shampoo in my hair. Had to stand in it because it wouldn't go down. We had to leave for our cruise so husband couldn't get shower because he would have had to wait. When I reported it at desk she said ok I will tell someone. Nothing off or even an apology. Terrible service

The beds were soft, rooms were nice but smelled a little musty. We had an issue with the TV, I told the front desk and within 5 mins, there was a gentleman there to fix it! Very impressed with the staff and great location. Quiet area, and a beautiful pool area that is in the center of all the rooms, outside, and away from public view which is nice.

I can be very short with this one. Just stay there and experience it yourself. The price is a little bit higher than we normally try to spend but it is New Orleans and you are just half an hour away from downtown NOLA. The rooms are perfect with comfortable beds. Enough choice to get a good breakfast. And the staff is very friendly.

every time I go to Marrero this is the place I stay. the way the motel is set up I love it. We are always please with the treatment we receive any problems we had were addressed rapidly. It is in a good location.

We really enjoyed our stay here back in February. We ate at the restaurant attached. It was delicious and very accommodating to our group of 17. The waitress and manager joked around with us and became a part of our family! We would totally go back!

Family owned and run, the Best Western Plus Westbank represents what I perceive to be Southern hospitality at its best. The management and staff are outstanding: extremely friendly, unfailingly helpful and hugely welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable and meet all one's needs, being well-equipped with large and comfortable beds, an abundant supply of towels, large screen television, fast, reliable and complimentary internet access, alongside a good-sized fridge, microwave, coffee machine, hairdryer, ironing board and iron. Most importantly of all if, like me, you are not used to the hot and humid New Orleans climate, all rooms have very reliable air-conditioning units. They are also kept immaculately clean on a daily basis. The hotel also has all other facilities that one could require: washing machines and dryers, vending machines, change machines and – hugely conveniently – computers and printers that are complimentary for all guests to use. For sports enthusiasts, there is a small gym in the hotel (with a very large local public gym only a couple of minutes' walk away) and a beautifully carved out swimming pool area, adorned with palm trees and comfortable seating in a court-yard. This internal area of the hotel contrasts very pleasantly with the rather unattractive three-lane boulevards that otherwise surround it on the outside; something that, amazingly, one does not notice when inside the hotel area itself. And those boulevards do provide a huge array of very good places to eat and shop within walking distance, ensuring that all one's needs are easily available nearby. The hotel is located about a 30 minute drive from the famous French Quarter of New Orleans (perhaps a little shorter if there is no traffic; and a little longer by the West Jefferson Lapalco bus that goes from across the road from the hotel to the heart of the city). It is even nearer to a variety of alligator tours and swamps which is an unusual and enjoyable feature of this part of the world. Therefore, the hotel has the advantage of being located nearby, but outside the hustle and bustle of, central New Orleans; something that I strongly suspect also makes it very competitively priced when compared with the various hotels in the middle of the more crowded parts of the city. I stayed here as I required medical treatment from a renowned expert in hyperbaric oxygen therapy, Dr Harch. As with many other of his patients, I therefore needed to stay in New Orleans for two months. That leads me to two additional observations: first, if you, too, are a patient of Dr Harch (I understand that many of his patients stay at this hotel), the same bus that I mentioned above goes (in the other direction) directly to Dr Harch's practice and takes only 15 minutes: a huge advantage for anyone who does not have a car. Second, and above all else, the fact that I was a guest at the hotel for a total of nine weeks means that the impressions that I set out above are based upon a relatively long-lasting observation and experience of the friendliness and convenience of the hotel. Although I stayed alone for most of the duration of my treatment, my wife and two young children were able to join me for the last part of my stay. They also had a wonderful time at the hotel. The children had never stayed anywhere where you could walk out of the bedroom and were only a few feet away from the swimming pool – and had a particularly lovely time as a result! They were also treated wonderfully well by all the staff, who they also found to be extremely friendly. So the hotel can be enjoyed by all age-groups. In short, I highly recommend this hotel.

Pulled into hotel and was not in the best of areas. Went to check in and was told our room was not ready. Check in was 3 and we arrived at 4:15 and was told it would be another 45 min. After traveling all day needed a room then. I cancelled that stay and made reservations where they had a room ready for us. Front desk staff seemed like they couldn't care less to lose a customer. If customer service is not good then I believe hotel is not good.

Enjoyed the free breakfast, exercise room (wish there were two treadmills though). The rooms were very nice and clean. It can get loud in the hotel because rooms encircle a pool area and kids can get loud even at night. I would recommend the hotel for the price. Pretty good deal.

The Best Western Westbank was perfect for our needs. We stayed three nights. The decor of the room was beautiful. Crown molding, two colors of paint, professionally done. The staff was polite and attentive and the location was close enough to all of the city attractions. Plenty of restaurants both fast food and sit down were in close proximity.

This hotel was great. The room smelled clean as well as the sheets and towels. Everything was neat and organized when we arrived. The staff was helpful, only the bar lady was a little rude and pool was dirty.

Place was in a great location and looked very nice. Had an issue with my TV. Showed many channels on guide, but some of the best ones didn't come in. Also room had a funny sort of old carpet smell that you got use to after a few hours in there. Would prefer waffle machine over the pancake on they had, also heard many guest say the same.

We planned to Visit NO area for 2 days prior to heading to beach. We wanted somewhere that parking wouldn't be an issue since we were driving big SUV. New Orleans parking in city is hard to find. We didn't want valet parking which most in NO is. Had a good experience from this hotel using Uber. It was about 20$ with tip each way. We were satisfied with the accommodations at Best Western and a good distance for visiting NO. I would recommend. We had no issues with hotel. Breakfast in morning was good and had a variety to choose from.

This hotel represents a great mix of value and staff friendliness. I have been using this facility for a while now and the quality is always there. The pool is great and the.current Fire restaurant is super. I had an employee with me and the restaurant altered to dietary restrictions willing.y and without issues. Also the restaurant service was great I really recommend this place

Returned to the BW Plus, Westbank, for a Family visit! Wasn't let down at all. They are all so friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the service staff! Always felt safe there. If/when we return, am sure I'd stay here again!

This is a really nice hotel. The location is great because there are several restaurants within walking distance,or just a short drive. The pool is centrally located with a rainforest type theme, very relaxing. The staff were great. It was also very reasonably priced on a very busy weekend. I would definitely stay here again. Oh yea, the breakfast was delicious!!!! ??????

I and 11 friends stayed at the hotel on May 19. We found the rooms to be comfortable and clean. The lobby and common areas were inviting and a great place for our group to gather in. This makes my fourth stay with them. It is easy access to NOLA, reasonably priced and they offer Park and sale for cursiers.

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was wonderful...until our last day. We had gotten everything ready and loaded into the car and as I did my last look over the room a very large (at least 2 inches) roach was crawling around the bathtub. I had taken a picture to show the front desk as we were checking out but by the time I got someone to come to the desk I was so frustrated I just turned in the keys and left. It took well over ten minutes for me to find someone to check us out. Besides the last day the hotel was wonderful. Breakfast was fantastic, the pool was great, and the staff was great.

Our stay in New Orleans was enjoyed with our stay at the BW Plus Westbank. We stay in BW often in our travels. From the helpful people at the front desk to our lovely room for 2 nights, we found this property clean & unique with it's decorative style. The pool area was not only large & very clean but was surrounded by a very nice landscaped area which added to our delight. Very nice area to sit and relax with our traveling friends discusing the day we enjoyed. Went to New Orleans for short 2 day trip. We visited the World War 2 Musuem. Incredible museum displaying all aspects and the history of this war. We often take our freedom & life for granted not realizing the sacrifices made by the men & women in our armed services. This war preserved the freedoms we enjoy today and should be remind us of the great nation/people that we are in history. GOD bless America. Don/Margaret/Rochelle & Luther

Came into town for a wedding. We all stayed at this hotel. The pool in the middle was good. The service was pretty good. The beds were satisfactory. Breakfast was fairly decent. I liked the pancakes. Wish they had larger pillows, bacon, and carrying trays for the breakfast. Also, the vanity needed better lighting. Had to do my makeup with a flashlight because it was too dark.

Room was very clean. With AC on, there was no noise to be heard from the pool. Breakfast was great: 2 kinds of sausage, scrambled eggs or omelettes ,hash brown and white gravy, pancakes and much more. The coffee was excellent.

The reception was very friendly. The room and bath were standard. Complementary parking. Breakfast was basic. Not far from the expressway. Many restaurants around the hotel to go and eat. Good for 1 night on a road trip - not longer.

This hotel was of a very good standard. Excellent breakfast with real pancakes ! Too far out to make use of proximity to New Orleans. We would have been better to have stayed in New Orleans and sorted parking out. We were put off that by parking prices in the French quarter BUT discovered later that you can pay to park on line and find much cheaper prices as low as §10 per day. Benefit of hind sight.

Nice room great breakfast. Fast and friendly staff. Price was a little high because of Jazz Fest but overall good value. If this was the everyday price we probably wouldn't stay here. DID not use the pool or bar area

This is a GREAT place to stay with very friendly people. I stay here often and have had ZERO issues with safety in or around the facility. The hotel is in very good shape and they are currently remodeling, so the rooms are in the best shape that I've ever seen them. Wonderful bar inside the hotel also!!!!!

When service standards seem to be on the decline, this hotel seems to have the customer care at the forefront of their business. Haven't received this quality stay in a long time. Thanks for renewing my faith in the quality service.

I recently stayed at this location for a total of 3 nights. While the reason for my visit to New Orleans was not a happy occasion, both Brian and Melissa went out of their way to may sure my stay at the hotel was a pleasant one. I had an issue with my room and without hesitation, they were willing to accommodate my request to switch to a different room (more than once). Again, I really appreciate these two and the awesome service and care I received during a very difficult time.

We stayed here for few nights in January during the New Year's eve/day holiday. It was clean, quiet, & a good value. It's not far from attractions in New Orleans but we did have to Uber to town & back which was an added cost. Price was just under $100 for AAA rate and included breakfast - everything else in town was really expensive $200+. We had an issue w/overflowing toilet and a lamp that flickered but maintenance came right away to fix.

Had a great time ..My Daughter and her Friends really enjoy the night..will be back for many more..rooms was very nice..the courtyard was nice the pool was clean, also the fitness room was nice and clean ...recommend for friends and family.....

Great Hotel, Clean / updated rooms ( the hard wood floors are the best), convenient check in/out process, the courtyard is great for gathering around the pool or just decompressing from work. Stay often for work, Wi-Fi is great here.

Wonderful hotel. We have stayed here twice, both times for a cruise we were taking. We have enjoyed our stay both times. Very clean and very friendly. Ate at the restaurant next door, very good food. Bartender at the clubhouse by the pool was very outstanding and friendly. Would recommend this hotel to all family and friends. Will stay here again if we visit the area again.

Cleanest BW I've even stayed in. Very friendly, beautiful grounds, comfy bed, Southern hospitality at its best from time of arrival to departure. Secure area/free parking. Minutes from anything you want to do ...drive thru daiquiri, Copeland's, mall, downtown New Orleans, whatever. After visiting New Orleans, I would definitely stay where I did rather than NOLA....which is crime-ridden, pricy, dirty, and way too fast for this traveler. Staying in Harvey was about a 10-15 minute drive to anywhere you wanted to go (excluding traffic, off course) While the French Quarter is an experience, parking is expensive and walking is tiresome. I loved that I had only a short drive back to the hotel to "regroup" and ready myself for the next adventure. There was a lovely pool, hot tub, and courtyard bar on site. There was an onsite restaurant, but I did not try it. The lobby is very quaint, and the breakfast is what one expects at BW free buffet. The ONLY complaint is minimal.... the room was a bit dark as one of the lamps didn't work which made it difficult for old eyes to search for items in the suitcase. There also was an issue with one of the plug-in outlets by the sink - only one appeared to work so if you wanted to charge your phone and dry your hair at the same outlet - not happening. AND, the ice machine which was right next to my room did not appear to work. It could have been "empty" because I had gotten ice from it on previous days. As mentioned earlier - all minor things. I can't stress enough the cleanliness and friendliness. Staff was constantly in view cleaning the tiniest of details to fixtures on the elevator to handles on the guests' rooms. I was VERY VERY IMPRESSED, and if I travel to this local again, this is the only place I would consider.

Hotel was clean and seemed well run. Staff were always seen tidying and cleaning. Observed a situation where a person angry about their reservation addressed front desk staff and I was quite impressed with her handling of the situation. Breakfast was awesome! Room was clean. Good area to stay as there were many restaurants and stores like Walmart nearby. I felt it was a secure area to park our car. Uber was $15 to French Quarter and $17 back for a family of 4. Overall good choice - would stay there again.

Hotel was as expected, we booked the park and cruise package so we can leave our vehicle at the hotel while we cruised for 7 days, that in it self saved us $140.0. Also, hotel provided transportation to the cruise terminal, even though it was a one way transportation, it was well worth it, only cost us $8.00 pp to take a text back to hotel after our cruise was over. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great. Rooms were clean and spacious, but the courtyard furniture could use a little updating.

I requested a room with 2 beds, because I can't sleep next to my daughter who thrashes around during sleep, and in a quiet location of the hotel because I am a very light sleeper. Upon arriving, the very courteous staff told me that my reserved room with two beds was unavailable because the customers from the previous night stayed an additional night. There were no more rooms available with two beds, only one king size. Staff apologized for the inconvenience and said they would compensate me for it with a discount. No compensation was given then or later at checkout. They promptly provided a rollaway bed, but the room was right next to the top of the stairs not in quietest location. Laid in bed trying to sleep from midnight past 1 am listening to the sound of people stomping up and down the stairs and talking loudly in the hallway. After finally falling asleep, my bedside hotel phone rang at 2:15am. I answered and caller hung up. Fell back asleep. At 2:35am phone rang again. This time I left the phone off the hook. Needless to say I was extremely exhausted when my alarm went off at 5:30am and almost fell asleep later that afternoon driving home on my almost 4 hour drive. The breakfast was great, and the breakfast staff was wonderful. The room was clean and satisfactory. No other issues except not being given the room I requested and the unwanted phone calls in the middle of the night.

My stay was booked from 3/16-3/18. I was coming from Memphis and my car broke down so I called the hotel to advise them I would be arriving late due to my car breaking down on the highway and I was told everything would be fine. 30 mins before I arrived at the hotel at 12:30 am I received a call from an agent stating my reservation was moved to the Riverside Inn due to a guest not checking out of my room?? I asked why did i recieve the call so late. noone had a reason. I arrived at the hotel my reservation was moved to and it was a real dump smelled of cigarrette smoke and the manager there made me aware she have to book rooms for them all the time because the Best western over book their guest all the time and have to get rooms from them!! this really infuriated me because this place was a dump and Best Western is aware where they are putting guest that book with them!! SO beware!!! The next day I was able to check into the Best Western but there was no apology , UPGRADE or anything SO i WAS DONE

I have stayed here twice when we were in NOLA for gym meets. The hotel is basic, no frills but has some nice perks like plenty of breakfast choices (hot and cold) and a nice central courtyard area with outdoor pool and hot tub in a covered gazebo. For our family of 5 we took 2 rooms, as the room is a little small to fit a rollaway bed (which they have a limited number of). Front desk staff was friendly and polite. Just two complaints: the beds feel like they could use new mattresses (they're a little broken down) and the door that adjoined our room to the next guest was not very sound proof (they came in with small children at 10:30 and we could hear every word and squeal).

Over priced, some of the staff is rude, and don't expect to return to a properly cleaned room each day or request that it be done right. They'll make you do it yourself. Which is too bad for them because it led me to discover their filthy matress.

Much better than parking at the airport or port if arriving the day before your cruise. Friendly staff, great rooms and a great value! We plan to cruise again out of this city and will be returning to this location again.

The hotel is conveniently located. It's close to the high tourist area sights yet absent of all the high level traffic. It's in walking distance to good restaurants. Very clean hotel with a great breakfast bar that includes practically anything you could want for breakfast, to include turkey sausage. Did I mention this great breakfast bar is free? The staff was really great! Couldn't ask for a better stay! I will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are VERY CLEAN. Staff are wanting to give you the best for your $$ We've stayed at the Best Western-Westbank in Harvey many nights. They can advise you places to see and directions, too. They also have a GREAT breakfast and NEW restaurant attached to the motel. Great people ALL the time.

Very nice hotel with a Great staff! I felt that it was clean. We stayed one night before our cruise. We did the deal where you stay and leave your car. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I felt we should have been told when we booked that transfer from the cruise back to the hotel wasn't included.

The hotel was easy to find and a location away from the New Orleans Quarters area. When we first checked in the heater stopped working. Notified the front desk on our way out to dinner. It was fixed while we were at dinner. Very Quick maintenance. The room had plenty of space, beds comfortable, It is just about 15 minutes from the French quarters. Nice place t stay. The only thing we did not like was the fact that the rooms are off opened balconies. Going in and out of the room was cold due to the weather they were having. Take a jacket and hat. Breakfast was excellant and the service in the dinning area was also.

My family stay at BestWestern in Harvey, La., was great it's like a resort, it beautiful. The staff are ALWAYS Professional and the rooms are ALWAYS clean. Housekeeping services are also great. It's a Great place to bring family.

I am currently working a contract at a local hospital on the night shift, thus I need to sleep days. The hotel, as whole, has a quiet environment, but the reservation staff worked diligently to accommodate my day-sleeping needs. They reserved me a room away from the busier areas of the hotel and adjusted the housekeeping service time to minimize sleep disruptions. I did have one "bad" experience that was corrected immediately. My clothes did not get set out as they should have for laundering-given my timely drop-off. I needed them the next day for work, so the desk attendant gave me the necessary money to clean the clothes in the guest laundry. I have been a Best Western customer for a while, but their customer service has made me a lifetime customer. I will be returning!!

Quaint old building with an enclosed open air courtyard that has a pool and hot tub. This property is extremely quiet since it boast all rooms have exterior door entry. An elevator at each end of the three story property helps. Free hot breakfast, home baked cookies, and free southern ice tea or lemonade. I did experience a leaky bathroom vanity.

Excellent place to stay with plenty of restaurants around. The staff is always friendly and eager to please. I travel monthly and make my reservations 2-3 months out with no issues. I had to stay 2 nights last time due to weather delay on my flight and had no problem keeping my room.

Nice visit but the weather was frigid! It was nice to come in from the cold to a warm comfortable room. It was quiet with restaurants and shopping nearby. Not too far from downtown nor far off the interstate.

Everything was wonderful from the friendly check in to receiving assistance to locate tea to enjoy during the cool evening. Modern and updated location inside and out. We will return during warmer weather.

We were on the third floor and the elevator did not work. We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past as it is very close to family. Hotel is showing its age. For the price you can stay at one of the newer hotels down the street. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, but the hotel is in need of updating. Breakfast is absolutely terrible.

The Best Western Plus Westbank In Harvey,La. is my "go to place" when I visit my Family in Gretna,La. The facility has a typical New Orleans courtyard feel. A nice size pool in the middle along with a separate hot tub. The hotel is super clean inside and out. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. The hotel staff is always friendly and helpful. I always take advantage of the wonderful breakfast provided. My grand kids love the pancake machine!!! The hotel is not that far from the New Orleans French Quarter. You might want to take the Ferry over to enjoy the sights and sounds of that historic area. I highly recommend this hotel!! Vehicle parking is free.

We love this hotel and have never had a bad experience or unfriendly staff. The rooms are clean, the courtyard is beautiful! It feels more like a resort then a hotel! It rocks! The courtyard bar is a great place to have a drink and not have to worry about driving. It was done up beautifully in the inside for Christmas. And Roxie the bar tender is the best!

This is a wonderful place to stay the night before you cruise. Enjoy the evening, get a good nights sleep, and then enjoy the complimentary full hot breakfast. Get your luggage and enjoy the short ride to the port.

I have nothing bad to say about the hotel are the staff.Everything be so perfect to me i love this hotel i recommend anyone to stay there.I love Brandi and Kimberly they are so nice and very respectful.And i love the housekeeping staff and the maintenance staff.And i forgot about the breakfast area they are very nice to the be so good and fresh.But other then that the room's are very clean never have a problem.I just love you guy's i will be back in two weeks.

This was a free night and I felt like I wasted 'free'. The rooms were outdated...why does it say they've been renovated? Maybe 25 years ago they were renovated...partially. Noisy, uncomfortable. I expected updated, comfortable rooms. I moved to the Hampton Inn about a mile away and have stayed in it now for over a week and it's excellent and close to the same cost. The staff was friendly and helpful....

Where do I begin? I was a trip leader for a conference in the area. We had 18 rooms reserved at this hotel. Barry in group sales was phenomenal to work with. We were given a great rate for our stay. They were very organized and check in was a breeze. They took great care of our group by having breakfast ready for us in the mornings and we even had a meal catered in one night for dinner through them. Breakfast was phenomenal every morning with many hot options, cold options, etc. (As good as I've seen at any hotel). The rooms were clean and well appointed with great A/C, tv's, fridges, and microwaves. Couldn't ask for any better. The location is fanatic. Only about 6 miles to the heart of New Orleans. For the price, free breakfast, free parking, free WiFi, and awesome amenities, I don't know why more people don't stay here. A true gem. The restaurant in the front of the hotel is modern, clean, and super nice too. The manager called me personally on my cell phone to ensure our satisfaction. I have stayed with groups all over the United States including 5 start hotels and I would take this Best Western right with any of them. Kudos to everyone!

Nice place to stay, good value for the buck. Very nice courtyard around the pool/bar area. Courtyard trees are decorated with lights which is a nice touch. Convenient to many areas of interest. Just a short Uber ride to the French Quarter.

This was a great time to spend with family and friends. My son got married that weekend and we had family flying from all over the country. We had over 100 family and friends at the hotel. We enjoyed the hotel and we enjoyed cajun food. What a trip, can't wait to go again.

We would stay here again. The room was very clean & the bed comfortable. The rooms face inward to a private & beautiful courtyard. The pool and lomge closes at 10 pm ensuring a peaceful nigjts sleep The staff was friendly & helpful.

The employee at check in had the appearance of just rolling out of bed and coming to work, however he was helpful. The hotel itself needs an decor update. All things seemed to be clean, just outdated. I felt as though I were at a hotel in the 1990's.

I choose this hotel because of location, staff friendliness, parking and restaurants nearby. I like how the facility is kept up. I would recommend this as a place to stay without any reservations as to quality of stay

The hotel is about 15 minutes from the district. Your average no frills hotel, continental breakfast. Clean bathrooms and rooms, the rooms are dated but a good value if traveling without the fuss. The staff is friendly and accommodating to the needs of guests.

The property is laid out in an unusual way. It's partly outdoors and partly indoors. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this place upon driving up to it since it really doesn't have an attractive entry way. The property is older. The rooms could be brighter. But here's the breakout . . . the rooms were clean (no dust around the furniture) and the front desk service was exceptional. Breakfast was also very nice. There are other newer hotel properties in the area that have nicer facilities but this place worked fine, thanks again to the great service. Not recommended to stay if visiting the Quarter since the distance is a bit long. Other places are closer to downtown if that is your interest.

We did a group trip for a sports event. Stephanie made the group booking of 10 rooms extremely easy. Very sweet lady and accommodating. Checking in process was very smooth, thanks to Brandi. Very courteous and genuine. Assisted our group with whatever we needed. Brian made it very easy for our group, because we had anight flight back home, he happily stored the entire teams luggage so we could see the sights of New Orleans with peace of mind. Thank you all.

Overall i was slightly satisfied, only because of the check in staff and employees at the cafeteria were amazing. The housekeeping in general lacked in that area and were slow and not so friendly. I would ask for towels or if the room could be tidied up and i would receive and answer of "later," and later seemed to never come. As for the front desk, they were amazing. I would ask where to eat and what to do in New Orleans, and she was very helpful with a map and her suggestions of certain foods to eat. The cafeteria staff were amazing and food was great. I felt like they knew me because my routine was the same when I was on the go, and always had my apples ready for me. Overall it was decent, because houskeeping needs upgrade.

Really enjoyed our stay there from the moment of checking in the staff were very friendly and helpful. The lady at the lobby bar was very helpful and bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful. Rooms were beautiful and very clean. Would stay there again anytime.

Loved staying here-- so New Orleans! Wonderful public areas, 40-inch HDTV, nice pool and courtyard-- and bar. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby; not far from anything if you have a car. They are very supportive of our active service military. I always enjoy talking to our yoking servicemen and women.

The Best Western Harvey lived up to it's reviews! The room was clean and better than expected. The pool, fountain and courtyard area are beautiful and gave the feel of being in the French Quarter. Very quiet and peaceful...used never know you're located on the corner of two busy streets on the West bank of New Orleans! The breakfast staff were very accommodating and there was a full breakfast menu to chose from. Thanks for making our stay so pleasant.

Best Western Harvey offers a great stay at a great price. Hotel staff is always very friendly. The Breakfast and breakfast staff are excellent. There are plenty of restaurant, pharmacy, and general store options close by.

Very nice stay. Hotel was a little farther to the cruise port than I though but was ok for us. The shuttle to the port is just a taxi they call and pay for. It's nothing special! We took Uber back to the hotel after the cruise. The pool was nice and the breakfast was very good.

All was good. Nothing really to say about our stay. We only stood for one night. The hotel was conveniently located for you us. Price was reasonable and affordable. I know now not to go through a third party to book a room.

Our stay was very restful and pleasant--from check-in to check out--especially the comfortable bed and the hot complimentary breakfast. The breakfast attendant was most cordial and welcoming to us. She really made us feel at home.

My stay at Best Western Hotel in Harvey, Louisiana was a very pleasant experience. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were large, clean and accommodating. A full breakfast was included with the price. Other amenities included wi-fi, cable television, and a fitness center. The breakfast was delicious.

Very nice hotel for work or vacation. Free and easy parking. Easy to get around the city of New Orleans if you want to venture in. All staff members were great. The rooms and lounge areas were always well kept.

For my stay in Harvey, La it was just 8 minutes to where I was working and maybe 3-5 minutes to any major restaurant that interested me. It was kept clean with a courtyard pool, hot tub, & small bar that I wish I would have had time for.

Will definitely be back to visit the Best Western Plus Westbank! This hotel pays attention to detail. Were greeted with fresh baked Spunkmeyer cookies, had a room right off of the beautiful courtyard and enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi - room had fantastic bed mattresses, nice decor, a microwave, fridge, Keurig - and ended it with a delicious breakfast buffet!

We stayed at this hotel for one night prior to our cruise out of New Orleans. We were nicely surprised by the size and cleanliness of our room, and the AC worked really well! The staff was awesome, both at the front desk and in the dining area! The hotel has a beautiful courtyard that is not visible until you walk to your room. The courtyard has a large swimming pool and a very nice, covered hot tub. We were not prepared for this at all, so we went down to the street and bought bathing suits to enjoy the pool and hot tub. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

The party room was perfect for the baby shower. Mr Barry and Staff's professionalism assured me that my event would without a doubt exceed my expectations. Everything i needed, the setups for food and guest tables were available upon my request. The party guests were really impressed with the whole environment.

The staff was very professional!! Every question I had they were able to answer right away. The patio was amazing ecspecially at night!!! Room was very clean, and was cool when we entered. Again I can't say enough about the staff!!

I have stay here before. It doesn't embarrass nor exceed...just okay. It should be noted that the renovation of the lobby as well as breakfast deserves mentioning. For the sake of location and convenience to downtown New Orleans and places of interest nearby...you will be ok.

everything was great I only had to get this room because of a issue with family. the hotel took car of my sister when she checked in before me with no problem. The family really enjoyed the stay so it was great for me.

The Good: Room is clean and quiet at night. Courtyard is beautiful. Desk person on days is nice and welcoming. Pool and hot tubs look great! It is close to stores (There's a CVS right next door) and restaurants. Doors do open to outside, but it is within the courtyard, so not like it's public. The Not-so-good: Construction going on. On site seafood restaurant appears to be closed. Non-smoking rooms, so people stand on the balcony across from their rooms and smoke instead of going out to the smoking area. The Bad: Expect to possibly have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get to front entrance. Smoking section right outside of front doors.

peaceful & Plesent. Clean, and fresh smelling. clean sink & shower area as well. Breakfast was the best in NOLA. Bar was nice too :) Very good cable tv selection too. Very hot water in shower as well, always a plus.... :)

Nice hotel, rooms are comfortable. Older type not high end decor in the rooms. The pool/ jacuzzi area is nice. If you have kids it'll save you on things to do by taking down to the pool here. There is also a bar in the pool area. The attendant is very nice and keeps the breakfast area clean and filled. I'm asking that for this amenity it's worth tipping her. The hotel was a good location as my daughter was leaving for the US Air Force and it accommodates that.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean and everything was nice and quiet. Lots of stores are nearby so there's no need to go far to get anything you need. A wendys and burger king are within walking distance.

Hotel is nice rooms are clean! Pissed me off when I got there! I booked through booking.com and I know generally how to check in. The young man at the front desk kept trying to tell me they didn't have a reservation for me! I kept trying to explain it to him that booking's reservation numbers don't work and I was already charged! He wasn't listening to a word I was saying had a know it all attitude! With my patience running thin and being 8 months pregnant fresh off a 7 hour drive I told him to get his manager. She found it in less than 2 minutes! Long story short if he would have done what told him to do in the first place I wouldn't wasted 15 minutes arguing. Anyway the hotel rooms are clean and it does come with a hot breakfast! They get 3 stars because he pissed me off that bad!

Great hotel for price, close to everything, plenty of places around to eat, located in a good neighborhood. Don't expect a 5 star hotel, but it is clean and has everything you need, friendly staff will welcome you to a nice hot breakfast with everything from fresh juices, egg, sausage, grit, waffle, pancakes, yogurt etc..

I had water leaking from my bathroom ceiling in huge quantities from the floor above. The hotel staff said they could do nothing about it, and asked the people in the room above to not shower. This hotel is literally falling apart! Other guests dirty bathwater is falling down on your head! No apology or attempt to rectify the situation. The staff was incompetent and unprofessional. Next day we got moved to another room that smelled strongly of mold. No surprise given the hotel's structural problems. Poor breakfast - lots of items were out. Poorly working A/C did not cool properly.

Tucked away on the west bank this BW is worth the travel time to stay at to get away from the insanity of New Orleans when visiting. Our room was clean and newly renovated. The whole hotel is mid-renovation and is already charming. Outside pool is in a beautiful courtyard area. Employees were friendly and gave great advice for dinner options. Definitely will go back!

I stay there every 28 days and the service, rooms and restaurant is always fantastic. The pool, weight room and hot tub are maintained very well for anyone who cares to use them. The lounge is close by and the people I've met there are very friendly. Everything is there, you don't really need to go anywhere else.

Have stayed here many times and will do so again in the future. The location is convenient and it provides a nice place to just hang out after a day at work. It would be nicer if the restaurant were open but I'm sure one will open in there in the near future.

Stayed there because of electrical problem from tropical storm cindy. The place was very clean an the beds very comfortable, would recommend this hotel to anyone in the new orleans area who doesn't want to stay in the city. It is on the westbank of new orleans. the courtyard in the middle of the hotel was beautiful the pool was very nice with a sm bar there also

Very nice set up. The way the rooms are set up and the pool and hot tube are actually inside make it more private. You really have to experience it for yourself! This isn't at all what we expected. This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed and the staff was great to.

The hotel staff friendly and charming. Beds where soft and loved that they had a Keurig coffee maker in room with coffee .. the hotel pool area amazing with plan trees and a bar breakfast was a feast for a king or queen. I did not try new Resturant. But other guest raved over the menu selection ...

My boyfriend and I flew into New Orleans to combine a trip to see my best friend get married with some vacation time. We stayed here in order to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the city but still be close. I am a big review reader, and this hotel had so many good reviews I felt comfortable booking it. After traveling for several hours, I was so excited to be at the hotel. We arrived and quite honestly, I feel like I should have known something was up from the beginning. The interior of this hotel is NOTHING like the pictures you see on Hotels.com- so if you're expecting that like I was, please be aware. The decor in the lobby is tacky and bizarre. The parking lot feels sketchy (I get that it's the outskirts of New Orleans, but there could be more lighting) and the elevators are filthy and barely work at all. The worst part- we walked into the room and I instantly got a headache. There is a HORRIBLE MILDEW/ MOLD ODOR that permeates these rooms. It literally smells like there is mold in the walls. I complained, and the front desk moved us to another room that smelled exactly the same. It was awful. At 2AM after hours of stressful travel, I ended up calling Best Western customer service to see if they would let me out of the reservation since I was clearly not happy. But because I had booked through a third party site, Best Western refused to let me cancel and advised me that they could move my reservation to a different BW- but still pay full price for BOTH hotels. Of course, I refused and called Hotels.com who I had booked through. Hotels.com spoke with the property manager at Best Western THREE times to vouch for me and see if he would allow us to cancel the reservation and issue a refund. He refused each time and advised we could just keep switching rooms. (Not what I want to do in the middle of the night after I've already had two bad rooms) I was on the phone with hotels.com for almost an hour going back and forth with them and Best Western before finally giving up. Hotels.com issued me a voucher for my troubles, (which was nice and is the only reason I'm still going to use them) but it was not enough to cover the loss and certainly not enough to cover the cost of a new hotel on top. Regardless, we took the loss and ended up booking a new reservation at a Hampton Inn that was wonderful. I WILL NEVER USE BEST WESTERN AGAIN AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE! I have used BW previously and had "meh" experiences but this was horrendous. I can say, the room itself seemed cleanish, but the location is not spectacular (you will fight traffic) and I did not have a good experience with the staff that night. (The lady that helped us check out the next morning was extremely nice and very apologetic but at that point I was over it) Basically- If you can stand the awful smell and are not prepared to expect even a decent stay, you should be fine.

Kind of a mixed bag, but we would stay here again. Room was pretty comfortable, we enjoyed the pool, the jacuzzi, the free parking, and the staff was very helpful. A few hiccups- problem with the laundry so towels were delayed and it was full of teenagers. Nice kids, but we had to change rooms as they made a ruckus in the mini gym next door. Again, the staff was very accommodating. Don't love the layout that much, looks like one of the apartments I lived in back in college. Pretty much on a par with the Holiday Inn Express across the street, sort of a flip of the coin for us next time to the NOLA area.

Very clean hotel. Beautiful and well maintained courtyard with pool and jacuzzi. Rooms and bathrooms refurbished and clean. I didn't smell any smoke residue. Used the Park and Cruise. Great value. Breakfast included. They provided a taxi to the port. Return was at our expense, our responsibility. ($20.)

We will always stay at this hotel anytime we visit New Orleans. The location and staff are wonderful and less than 20 minutes from Bourbon St. This hotel has many amenities on site or in walking distance. I love the upgrades and remodeling!!

Save your money and stay here when visiting New Orleans. Free parking and a delicious free buffet breakfast. Eggs sausage biscuits pancakes potatoes grits fruit and yogurt daily with extremely helpful and gracious hostesses. The courtyard is surrounded by the hotel but open to the air which gives it a wonderful feel. The kids loved going to the pool every night. Helpful staff was a bonus. The rooms were clean and there is a Keurig in the room as a bonus.

SUPER NICE HOTEL away from the noise and hassle of downtown New Orleans. In 10 or 15 minutes you can be on Bourbon Street or anywhere else in downtown New Orleans. AWESOME pool area right in the center of the hotel with a nice little bar out there too. The food at the attached restaurant is great as well! Very clean and SAFE place to stay while in New Orleans. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Staff were most helpful I have seen at hotel. It was beautiful outside and room were clean. Close to lots of eating places in the area . Could have used a few more plug ins more accessible but this is only thing can say was not real good. Breakfast was great and did not try restaurant next door but looked really nice

This hotel is an excellent and very safe place to stay while in New Orleans. A very short 10 to 15 minute ride from the hotel to downtown New Orleans. This hotel has an AWESOME pool area in the center area with a nice little bar in the middle too. Also there is a really nice restaurant attached too. Overall it is a great place to stay and I highly recommend it!!

After checking out, when my husband and I were an hour down the road, I realized I had left my iPad in the room. I called the desk right away and the girl working the desk sent the girl who works the breakfast buffet to get it. She mailed it to my home for me that same day.

Our room was close to the lobby, the rooms were well kept. We loved the room. Their is a restaurant on site excellent food. Several fast foods walking distance and a CVS right next door. Lots of gated parking available. Several banks within walking distance.

Everything at this hotel was very clean, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub here! Breakfast was good with plenty of options for everyone. Our air conditioner worked all night to keep our room cool, but we were comfortable! This was an easy place for our family to stay and enjoy in New Orleans.

We needed a hotel the night before our cruise and we drove ourselves here. We usually stay in the French Quarter but our hotel and others were requiring mulitple night stays. I did a search and came across the Best Western. I liked the looks of the courtyard and the reviews were decent. We checked in a little early and was given a room in the back of the hotel. Our room, a little disappointing, did not overlook the courtyard like the majority of the rooms did. We were heading to a casino but if we were going to be in the room longer I would have asked for a room looking on to the pool and courtyard. The room was a little small for 3 of us, creative use to fit in 3 suitcases. The room had a fridge and microwave. The room and bath were clean with the sink separate from toilet and shower. Room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The courtyard was very nice and peaceful. Breakfast room was very busy and included eggs, ham and potatoes along with other food items. The price was decent for a pre-cruise hotel stay. There was a lot of traffic on a Saturday afternoon getting to the hotel but light traffic on Sunday morning and very easy route to cruise terminal. There were a lot of stores and food options close by. I would consider this hotel again before a cruise.

Hotel was awesome had a bad service at the restaurant. Food was awesome just took to long for drinks to be sent to the table. My daughters food ordered prior to ours was never delivered until after the bill. First time this happened hope it was just a bad service night.

Was going to a convention but waited too late to get a room and this hotel popped up. Only about 10 minutes from the convention ctr. The hotel is outstanding. Rooms are excellent, and even had a Keurig coffee maker, too cool. The breakfast buffet, was the best free breakfast I've ever had. They have a good restaurant in the hotel, I'm not a big seafood fella but I am addicted to red beans and rice and cat fish and it was very good. The only down side is they charge you for your room as soon as you make the reservation, seamed kind of tacky, but hey it was a very good place and I will stay there again.

Excellent room looks just like pics. Very nice and clean. Rooms well stocked. Beds are comfortable and clean. Pool was a little cold but nice and hot tub very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

We are senior citizens who took my 93-year-old father to visit the World War 2 Museum. We had scheduled the trip two other times, but had to cancel because of his health issues. Nancy at the front desk was always friendly and kind about our multiple bookings and cancellations. She kept our information in their system, and when we finally got to make the trip, we received the rates they gave us two years ago! She told us that while we were there, no one would ever tell us no on any request. Everything was awesome! My husband and I have traveled a lot, and I can truly say that this was the nicest and friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in! We loved Roxanne in the Courtyard Bar. She loves her job and made our evenings so much fun! The girls at the breakfast were so accommodating and sweet. If you go to the restaurant next door, be sure to ask for Charles....Best waiter ever! My husband and I plan to go back sometime, just to stay there again! Thank you for a wonderful five days!

The front desk person was rude, unprofessional and very argumentative. I booked 2 rooms for 8 adults with 3 vehicles. She told me that I couldn't leave the 3rd vehicle without paying another $50. She insisted that we take the taxi service she called to travel to the port and not the transportation tat we had previously arranged ourselves. She even screamed at one family member.

This Best Western Plus hotel in Harvey, Louisiana was very nice. The courtyard was relaxing and beautiful. The bird feeders were a nice touch as I enjoyed watching the birds eat. I can guarantee we will stay again before our next Carnival cruise.

My stay at the Best Western Plus Westbank was awesome. The rooms were large and clean. The staff really made us feel comfortable and on the day we were schedule to leave there were bad thunderstorms warnings posted in the area. We asked the front desk if we could have a late check out and they did not hesitate to say yes. That one hour may not have seem like much to some but to us it meant a lot to be able to wait for the storms to leave the area before departing the hotel. This gesture was definitely appreciated.

I travel for a living and this has to be one of the best places I've stayed in. I would recommend this place to anyone. I especially enjoyed the pool and bar area for doing evening work. And the bar tender was a blast. I was concerned about noise do to being in New Orleans but was really nice and would recommend to any traveler going to the big easy.

Room was nice clean, spacious. Pool area was beautiful an well arranged. Breakfast was very good but poorly designed layout as part of the drinks and foods were in one room and the rest in another. Kids were very loud late into the evening at pool but that was no fault of the hotel. We really could have used a map and/or more info on places to go and see in area We asked twice for info but didn't get a lot.

Nice place for the price. They are in a good place for work are just a stay. Lots of places to eat around there. The restaurant in the hotel is good but a little prices for me. The rooms are clean and the internet is good.

All the rooms in a hotel has really bad odor as if they were not been used since long. There were two breakfast person, even though both were zero in customer service. They stops refilling breakfast half an hour before the breakfast hour ends.

Brian at the front desk was great always making sure we were being taken care of. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable pretty good value for the price. About a 15 min Uber ride down to the French Quarter round trip around $30. Saved over $500 not staying downtown area.

I was pleased with every part of the Hotel from the staff to the room all staff was nice and eager to help if I travel there in the future I will definitely stay there. It was close to the area that I meddled to be in for my Aunts Funeral

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Westbank Hotel located at 1700 Lapalco Blvd in Harvey, LA. It was a wonderful stay. Front dest employee Renee started the stay off in such a positive manner. She has personality plus and gives the best customer service. The Hotel was conveniently located in the West Bank and appeared to have been completely remodeled in the Front Desk Area. Our king room opened to the interior of the hotel overlooking the beautiful swimming pool, sitting area, and bar. Our king room had also been recently remodeled. It was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The shower was awesome. The hotel has the New Orleans look. We would definitely stay here again. And to top it off, the Lafitte's Landing Seafood House is on the site of the hotel and had awesome fresh seafood. (We also found a groupon coupon for Lafitte's so a double deal).

This hotel was an excellent value. Nice location with easy commute to the downtown area. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a variety and staff again very accommodating.

This is a great hotel to stay and traffic is not horrible in the area. I went for a 3 day conference and they will accommodate you in whatever you have need of. Great breakfast (continental) and fresh coffee and a cookie in the foyer upon registration, lol. I use this hotel instead of staying in NOLA

Hotel is decent and staff is friendly. Breakfast was nothing special and 2 of 4 days there was no food when we arrived before 8:30 and we had to wait for food to be cooked. Chaos in breakfast area each morning and very disorganized for a fully booked weekend. Housekeeping eager to have you sign off not to clean room & only change towels.

I have stayed at this hotel before, but this experience was not that great. A bad smelled greeted us when we opened the door to our room. The room was too small for 2 queen sized beds. I had to go out and buy Lysol to disinfect the room because it smelled so bad and was dirty. The bathroom floor was dirty, the tub had a dirty ring, the furniture was dusty and nasty, the door was filthy, and the carpet was beyond nasty and had a horrible smell. I cleaned the room by wiping down the furniture, door and bathroom, then cleaned the bathroom and floors with Lysol. I used a half a can of Lysol to attempt to get rid of the odor. The towels were dingy and did not look clean. I prayed that the bed sheets and pillow cases were clean. I sprayed the bed with the Lysol also, but I put down blankets so I would not have to sleep on the sheets. The "High-speed Internet", was not "High-speed". I was unable to hold a connection. It was very poor quality. Back to the carpet...very dirty. We had to keep our shoes on to walk around.

This hotel has rooms and prompt service! The court yard in the middle of the hotel is also beautiful! It is located about 15 minutes outside of the city. We will plan to stay again when visiting the New Orleans area.

Very nice hotel for the price serves breakfast buffet with a Cajun style Restaurant on property, With several restaurants nearby. $16 Uber ride to go downtown at 9am & $24 to get back @ rush hour. Rooms very clean, staff helpful and friendly. When we checked in a light in the bathroom had burnt out and 2mi after letting the front desk know maintenance was there to fix it. Used the jacuzzi and the courtyard Bar after walking around downtown all day and both were very clean & refreshing. Have stayed there before and will do so again.

The hotel is away from the crowds of New Orleans. The rooms were very comfortable. Free full hot breakfast. The Restaurant food was pretty good. There is also a bar in the courtyard. Drinks are great. We Loved the courtyard. We will stay again whenever in we are in New Orleans.

From time to time I have to stay in hotels for business. I normally stay at another hotel when coming to my Company's Belle Chasse location, however they were booked for the night. I tried the Best Western and was pleasantly surprised. A much better stay. Room was nicer, bed was much more comfortable and I woke up refreshed from a great night's sleep.

Paper thin walls, saggy bed, pilled sheets, outside entry, dingy carpet, broken lamp. The overly fussy decor could not make up for this old motel. Could hear peoples conversations above and next door. The renovated bathroom was clean so that was the only plus at the plus. Maid knocked and walked right in while I was dressing with the door open to the outside in full view. We paid more for this hotel that we paid in the French quarter.

Stayed for 3 nights while visting NOLA. Large room but found the walls on the thin side as we could hear a guest coughing during the night. Breakfast presnetation very nice along with helpful staff. Easy access into downtown.

Stayed overnight on a Monday and was apprehensive.... got inside the lobby and was blown away... Nice place!! Lobby was nice, Breakfast was decent, The room was actually pretty nice too with a nice courtyard, pool and cabana! Only thing that was lacking was a slower wifi connection. other than that... everything was 9/10!!

the hotel was very cleand and had a nice hot tub which I enjoyed and a nice swining pool it was very clean and very friendly staff to make you feel at home I would tell all my friend and family to stay there and enjoy the bar loved the court yard bard could sit out side and the weather was great

My son and his wife blocked 15 rooms for guest for their wedding on 10/08/16. We had lots of family and friends staying at the hotel. It was picked at first for the convenience of being near their venue. But as soon as I toured it with them, I knew it was where I wanted to stay. The staff were all amazing! I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to family and/or friends.

I absolutely love this hotel. They are very friendly and helpful! The hotel is beautiful with their courtyard pool, hot tub and bar. We stay there every time we are in Harvey. The bar tender, I consider her to be a friend. She is always smiling, making you feel at home and just an all around great person! Thank you Rox! The owner is a also a great man! He will sit and talk with you. Youse guys are my favorite people and my favorite place!

The room had a musty smell and we stayed 3 days and the room never got cleaned. Probably won't stay at that one again!! The hotel is set up with the hall way to your room is actually the outside. The front desk was nice but other than that, I wasn't pleased.

Staff was awesome! Check in and checkout was a breeze. Loved the cookie upon arrival. The breakfast in the morning was also very good. I liked the courtyard in the middle of the hotel, it made it easy for the people we were traveling with to meet up and enjoy some refreshments.

Excellent room at an excellent price. Location was outside high-price downtown New Orleans but sufficiently close for easy access. Staff were very helpful - especially Nancy at the front desk who always was welcoming and cheerful.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. There were only a couple of issues, the noise from the pool got a bit much at one point but that didn't last long and the shower didn't work. I told the staff about the shower in the morning and they were very apologetic. But like I said to the lady at the desk if they don't know something isn't working how can they be expected to fix it. The room was clean and nice and the breakfast was good.

This hotel is nice and clean. The staff and food was good. We flew into town early and they accomadated us free of charge. Pleasingly surprised. Very convenient to restaurants. The atmosphere is amazing.

Stayed here in 2012 while my husband was working in Plaquimines Parish. Loved it! Clean, friendly and the best pool/courtyard area! It didn't hurt that the attatched restraunt has great corn maque chow! Would definitely recommend it!

This hotel has got to be the BEST around from the scenary to the Great Customer service experience with a Hotel. The room was excellent nice and clean. I recommend everyone to go here. Free Margaritas from 5- 7pm. Man. Going back.

Stayed here while my husband was attending a work conference. The staff was very nice, hotel was clean, the courtyard setup is nice and the breakfast & ladies that ran it were outstanding. I would highly recommend this place!

not so impressed this time around...courtyard bar was closed on saturday night...tv channels were barely operable...nearly every channel chosen gave a "not a good channel" or whatever popup...breakfast was cold and not appetizing

This hotel is highly recommended. The front desk staff was very friendly and Brian was funny and personable. Definitely had me laughing after a long trip to get there. They give you fresh baked cookies upon check in, the beds were real comfortable, and the full free breakfast was great.

Booked this place because I could'nt find a place to park the car in the city. $30 dollars each way in taxi fares kinda backfired. Motel was clean and quiet. Breakfast was free but not very warm or nice. Best thing about this motel was the lady at reception called Nancy. She was fantastic and had excellent customer service skills. She went out of her way to help me organise my trip to the city.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Large clean rooms and a full breakfast every morning makes for a good wake up. New restaurant completes the all in one stay. Pool and hot tub finishes off each day to relieve any stress. Easy to get into and out of parking when staying at this hotel

Not a bad location, but we were looking forward to the courtyard and backyard bar. The pool was dirty. Black dirt all over the bottom of the pool. There was no information in the room regarding pool towels. We did not get wet. We left a message for extra KCups, then front desk said they only give 2 per day because they have free coffee 24 hours per day which means you are welcome to stale coffee but not fresh. Pool was not cleaned that day either. Room was nice. Breakfast was nothing special, nothing bad. Worst was advertising Keurig and only giving 2 per day.

This hotel may not be a 5 star hotel but we were treated as VIG (Very Important Guest). Our stay here is always comfortable and the breakfast food is like no other hotel. 5 thumbs up for front desk clerks and breakfast staff.

We enjoyed the hotel and the people were very friendly with us. The shower was tiny by average standards but the room was well maintained and clean. Breakfast staff were awesome. The breakfast was probably better early in the morning but we slept in and got there 30 minutes before the end. It was a good visait overall.

During all of the commotion of my trip, they made me feel like I was at home! Front staff was amazing and were very welcoming. I will definitely be back! The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable! The pool and hot tub areas was absolutely stunning! The pics I had looked at don't do absolutely any justice! Even though it was an overnight trip after driving 8 hours and through the flooding, I was able to relax! My husband whom had just got off the rig even enjoyed it! I wanted to stay another night!

It was very nice. Close to great restaurants, shopping and easy access to freeway. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. The front desk had hot cookies for us when we checked in, which was great.

This is a great, safe, clean place to stay. Front Desk, Nancy is an amazing asset to your team. I can not speak highly enough of her. She deserves a raise! Nancy is a friendly, caring, professional face, which helps make your hotel a safe haven in a crazy town. I have been to your hotel on multiple occasions and really missed Nancy upon evening check in. Her personality is such an asset to travelers checking in to the hotel, and in my humble opinion, should not be wasted on early morning check outs. I think the stairwells/steps should be better defined, black steps in a dimly lite stairwell are just an accident waiting to happen...

What I like best about this facility is that it is consistent with great customer service and being in good shape. It conveniently has a restaurant so you don't have to drive after a long trip. It simply is good and evidently tries to keep being good

Checked in at 4: 15 pm. Helpful Check-in Desk Clerk and Housekeeper. Requested room away from Pool area for quietness. Clerk asked Housekeeper to prepare a dirty room for us and it was cleaned nicely and smelled wonderfully. Most appreciative! Hotel itself: Fitness Center is not a "Fitness Center." It only has a treadmill and one other piece of equipment and a TV. It is as small as a twin-size room for kids in a home. The Hotel is much too large not to offer a decent place for exercise esp in these times where fitness is highly promoted. Numerous ball players were in-house and also could not use any amenities. Drink machines are absorbent costing $1.50 for any drink when CVS and Burger King are next door. Vendors should not scalp patrons in your establishment. Breakfast is Awesome which is why we chose this hotel. Its a mandate for health reasons that persons eat breakfast and hot foods were better than continental dried pastries with no protein! Housekeeping is quite slow however, may need more staff as it was well after 4pm and they were still cleaning rooms. Persons coming in from work or events would like to return to clean rooms and nap not stand outside. Overall this place is nicely renovated and in a nice area near food establishments and light. Our King room had a clean microwave & refrig. Room felt elegant and comfortable. Pool looked clean and inviting. Jacuzzi area is nicely enclosed. Pricing is much higher if you check in at the hotel versus any other online site for booking. Fees and Resort tax should not be added at the hotel. Room cost overall are still higher than competitors surrounding the same 3 block radius. Best Western should make adjustments as not to loose business (Near Hotels are quite nice also offering an awesome breakfast for cheaper pricing.)

To look from the outside, you would never know the beauty on the inside. The Courtyard is fabulous. The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly, helpful. This is where I will stay whenever I am in this area. Our Family Reunion families stayed here and everyone was well pleased.

Clean room, great service. Hotel was easy to find and is centrally located to everything you'll need....restaurants, night life, shopping. Didn't even bother to go back into New Orleans a couple of nights although it was only a 10 minute ride and that was our original plan. Would definitely go back to this place.

Great location to drug store, restaurants and freeway access. Good area of the city. Hotel pool closes at 10:00PM so the noise level is controlled. Easy room access with both elevator and stairs and there's also an on-sight laundry area so you can wash your clothes is necessary. Staff were always police and courteous.

We travelled to New Orleans for a basketball tournament and had a 7 year old and a 13 year old daughter. This hotel was perfect for our family because the pool was very nice and it included a very good hot buffet breakfast. The hotel is located in a very nice area with lots of restaurants nearby and a CVS directly next door. The staff was very helpful and helped us get our group of 8 people to the French Quarter for dinner.

This hotel had a great pool, excellent breakfast service, and very comfortable rooms and amenities. The area had lots of places to eat and was not far from downtown New Orleans. The room was very comfortable and clean.

We stayed for three nights this past week. From check in to check out everything was perfect. Breakfast was a good beginning to each day. We over looked the pool and did not feel there was any excessive noise. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our drinks at the hotel bar with Roxanne. She is a delight! We had the bread pudding twice.. It was that good! Great location. Took uber to French Quarter several times . $15-$16. each way. Better than driving and paying parking prices.

it first time that my family went to louisana. place was clean and staff was very friendly. We stay five days I think I gain weight eating breastfast at westbank. It was hot full breastfast. Thanking the whole staff who was friendly

We have never stayed here before and we where wondering what the neighbor hood was like and what was around there. We where suprised to find the neighborhood nice, safe, and many things around, CVS Wal Greens many fast food places, easy access to New Orleans down town, the hotel itself was clean, quite, and had all the things you would seek in a hotel, and the price was good for what we got, I was take away that we had a closet in our room which is something you don't see, the staff was friendly and caring and meet every need we had, this is a hotel we will consider in the future. My only down part is the AC units vent into the hall way which make it quite hot and the elevators fan where not working, other then that great hotel for the money, and the breakfast was above what we have had in the past.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a road trip through the deep south - but as we'd booked on the outskirts of town we weren't expecting anything special - we'd gone for the price. Happily, this was the most beautiful hotel we stayed on during out trip - the outside is standard, but inside there's a beautiful pool in the courtyard with a bar and a hot tub which was a lovely surprise. The hotel itself and rooms are well decorated, furnished to a high standard and the beds are comfy. The room was impeccably clean, and the toiletries were ample. The staff were super helpful - calling us a cab and advising us of some nice places to eat in the city. They also had some cookies to help yourself to at reception (nice touch!) and plenty of historical context to give us about the area and New Orleans. They also recommended and booked us onto a swamp tour which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! Breakfast was great- hot foot regularly checked and refreshed, great selection of cereals and hot/cold drinks. The breakfast room was quite big too and very well maintained. Throughout the time we were there it was quite stormy one evening, with a hurricane warning in place. Despite this, we were very comfortable in the hotel and they even helped us order food in so we didn't have to go out in the rain! 100% would stay again.

This motel was really cute and very clean. Check in was easy. We stayed 3 nights. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered a roll away bed, which was $20 a night extra. On our 2nd night my son wanted an extra blanket. I called the front desk at 9pm She told me she was unable to get me a blanket because house keeping was closed (I guess she didn't have a key to the closet, idk.) 5 min later she called back and said Security would be able to bring us one after he made his rounds. We got our extra blanket a hour later. It was large, fuzzy, and soft. The room and bathroom was clean. They have a nice pool area. Be prepared for cold water though. The pool hardly gets any sun shine so the water does not heat up. We ate breakfast every morning. They offered pancakes with toppings, such as strawberries and whip cream. Eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, biscuits, potatoes. Yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, etc... It was all good. New Orleans is not far and is an easy drive. Also, CVS is right next door which came in handy. Overall this Best Western was very, VERY nice

We stayed here to see my son leave to go away to bootcamp and to say our final goodbyes to him. This hotel was great not to far from the airport and would not have wanted another hotel it met our need close to everthing

I stayed here because my son was leaving for basic training for the Air Force and we were able to spend time with him here. I would recommend this place for any military family wanting to spend time with their loved one before their departure.

I've stayed here multiple times, for both work and personal related trips. My stays have always been pleasurable. The rooms are clean, well maintained and comfortable. The courtyard and attached bar are beautiful and inviting. The staff is always polite, informative and engaging. But u must say that the owner, Mr. Dawn, is super friendly and approachable, and genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay. They are consistently awesome!

The hotel was very clean, appealing to the eye, and the staff was very friendly, helpful, and courteous.The hot breakfast along with the ladies who maintained and served the guest were outstanding. Being all you could eat, everything was maintained at the correct temperature and tasted great each morning. The fact that the breakfast was already included (free) was all the more better!

The property is lovely, the rooms are clean & very nicely decorated. I especially liked the open Bible on the table next to the chair. Beautiful courtyard setting for the pool. Staff was very friendly & helpful.

Scheduled our stay for a single night (Thursday evening). Check-in was quick and directions to our room was clear. Room was a tad below average. When we arrived in the room the A/C was set high so there was a dampness in the room and on the furniture. This was corrected by setting the A/C to a lower temperature. After dinner, upon arriving back at the room tired from a long day, TV did not have a signal. Called the front desk and was told that maintenance could be over in the morning. The desk offered to move us to a different room. We were too exhausted and we were leaving the next morning. The next morning, we had the hotel's free hot breakfast. It was above average particularly since the coffee was good.

The hotel was very nice. Clean, well kept and amazingly quiet. Our room was on the 2nd floor. Never heard any noise from the room above or beside. Unique style with the room door entries all facing the courtyard which was beautiful.. Very nice pool and hot tub and well stocked bar. Always clean and tidy. Very safe, located within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and gas stations. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I would like to see a few more gluten free options available for breakfast.

This hotel greets you with an open bible on the table in your room and has a grotto statute of the Mary (Christ's mother) in the pool area. Also has notices about praying on the sign outside the place. Just over the top with this religious stuff.

The hotel lobby and rooms were very nice. The front desk staff were rude and not helpful. We were using the stay and cruise option. They were not accommodating with arrangements to get to the port and the place we parked our car was not gated/secure.

I picked this hotel because I could not afford "French Quarter" hotel prices. I was delighted that although quite large it was most peaceful. Breakfast was a particular highpoint . Access to NOLA was easy even by bus

easy access to major highway and into New Orleans, good food nearby (if you know where they are). hotel internet is free but required frequent sign ons which proved to be troublesome as you can't remember the user name and password so easily. truly a nuisance! Cropland's restaurant used to be next door but has move to a new location nearby, if you care for Cajun food!

Nice rooms and comfortable bed. Great breakfast in the morning and friendly staff. Nice pool and Jacuzzi. Coffee maker didn't work. tons of restaurants and department stores located around hotel. Barnards pralines was really good and driver – up daiquiris. Walmart and target are really close to hotel.

While the hotel is very nice, the outdoors steals the show. The interior courtyard is lovely and features an outdoor bar and seating. The accommodations are very pleasant, and the staff exceptional. The food is ok - free makes it better! You are 12 minutes to Bourbon St. making this an ideal location to stay if you are planning a money conscious trip. Area is full of shopping, restaurants and ATM opportunities.

This location was chosen by the guest I was with. Very nice. Staff is professional and very, very nice. It's central to everything and very comfortable. Price is great. Includes a nice buffet breakfast. The interior courtyard is absolutely beautiful and quaint. Everything you need is in this sweet space. Would stay again. The only downside is it is a semi-smoking facility. Not smoke-free as advertised.

We chose this hotel for the price and no parking fees vs staying in New Orleans itself. 10-15 min drive to port to park at Fulton Garage. The hotel did offer service to port if we wanted. But had decided prior to stay to use the garage at port for convienence of leaving strait home as we drove down.

This hotel is under construction. The front lobby if very appealing however the room we stayed in was not. part of the room had been updated. The smell was horrible. Mildew the whole time. We tried everything air, fan, heat, and leaving the door open to air it out. It is just in the carpet and maybe in the ventilation unit itself. My personal travel size shampoo and conditioner either thrown out or just taken when the room we being cleaned. We didn't have much choice in hotels as everywhere was booked solid. The breakfast was fine. The location is good as well. Not to far from the city of N.O

The stay was great. Awesome courtyard. Renee was especially friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the "complimentary" breakfast. We were yelled at to get in line to be served as if we were school children in a cafeteria. I have NEVER had a complimentary breakfast served to me at any hotel I have ever stayed at. The eggs were cold. Juice machine out of order. Biscuits were hard and cold.

We have stayed here in Harvey, LA 3 times and each time we have always experienced the highest level of professional team members from the front desk check in, breakfast and the friendly staff who help you with any request for your room. We enjoy the location and especially the courtyard.

Well run hotel, have stayed here before during Jazz Fest. Would recommend it to others. Good restaurants nearby, if you want a real taste of local food. It takes about 25 minutes to drive from the hotel to the Race Track where Jazz Fest is held.

My stay at Best Western Plus was great. Staff was awesome. Services were the best. loved my room, enjoyed the Breakfast. The quick response of your front desk and security was outstanding when keys were not working. The pool was very convenient for little ones to swim and parents could watch from room or pool side. Location of the bar was super! everything was so conveniently located.

This hotel worked very well for us. Clean, close to Downtown and the French Quarter. Staff was friendly, hotel clean, bed comfortable, breakfast was good just wish they would have better yogurt and fruit options. Would recommend, definitely.

This hotel was gorgeous. There is a courtyard that has an unbelievable scenery. Be sure to have your swimwear ready for the pool and hot tub area. The breakfast was enjoyable. The staff was so happy and pleasant. All I can say is that I will always try to stay here on my next visit to New Orleans. This hotel is located in the mist of everything.

Beautiful hotel and affordable price! Amenities are great! Location is great also! Rooms were clean and comfortable. The Breakfast was very good. The only not so great was being on the ground floor, some to the cock roaches from out side crawled inside-so more pest control to the ground floor rooms I would highly recommend.

Best place hands down in the Harvey La Area. Easy access to anything you need . Best staff of anywhere I travel . Always clean , friendly staff, and the owner has several dishes local to area in the lounge area .

We stayed at this hotel since we drove to NOLA and we wanted to be close to the city, but did not want to pay $30 a day to park our car, in addition to the hotel rates. We found this hotel to be quiet, comfortable and on 15 minutes from the city by car.

This place was a nice surprise, close to New Orleans but not right in the city, hotel was clean and the courtyard area was very welcoming. The FREE breakfast was amazing, you really get a lot of choices and the staff was wonderful.

I actually grew up just down the road from this place. It is in the middle of strip malls and big box retailers, and about a 12 minute drive to downtown New Orleans (Convention Center). In the other direction, it is about a 12 minute drive to Jean Lafitte National Park Barataria! So, great location, as long as you have a car. Lots of local eateries serving the humble cuisine of one of America's most interesting cities (and at great, non tourist prices). The hotel itself is all that you would expect from Best Western. Clean rooms, bath/shower, sink with in room K cup coffee makers. The rooms encircle a quaint New Orleans style courtyard where there is a pool and jacuzzi, and nice landscaping. There is also a coin laundry on the 2nd floor. Buffet style breakfast is provided. It is a little better than coffee and toast. They also serve hot foods such as scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, potatoes and grits (yay! grits! I love them and miss them as I no longer live in this area) and bisquits and gravy. Ample parking, fairly safe neighborhood (well, safer than the city itself, but not as safe as a comparable suburb in the US). The staff are all friendly and helpful. They define all that is great about Southern Hospitality. Service with a smile! Free WiFi worked fine. Some workstations in the lobby and a small gift shop, vending machines. The only down sides are that the hotel has been around for a while and some of the facilities seems a bit worn, bedding was a bit scratchy, bathtub had a permanent ring, tub drain stopper didn't work (but ok, we just took showers). I suspect this hotel gets a lot of business during hurricane season, considering its proximity to lower lying areas that are often evacuated when storms come in. We stayed during Spring Break and lots of families seemed to be staying at the motel at the same time. This reminded me that the walls are thin. We didn't exactly enjoy hearing a couples spat at 2A, or kiddies splashing in the pool just outside of our room. The AC in the room is also noisy. We didn't go to the Courtyard restaurant, but just across the street are several popular eateries along the lines of TGIF's (New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood, Copelands's, Zea's) and great poboy/seafood joints. You won't find 4 star fine dining in this area, but that doesn't mean you can't get a great meal! Oh, and next to the hotel is a CVS and on the other side a Burger King, both within easy walking distance. The other places are also nearby, but Manhattan Blvd and Lapalco Blvd are both very busy streets, and navigating them on foot could be hazardous.

I was greatly impressed with this hotel on our stay in April. Very clean, very courteous staff. Great breakfast, nice garden/pool area! Bar is only open until 10pM but that is great since it is located in the garden/pool area and most of the rooms open out to this. Great hotel

we stayed at this best Western for their stay and cruise package.the travel to the port was part of the package service was good . even left earlier that requested for the port . hotel is nice and so is nice breakfast bar. . would use this place again

I was treated like family. It felt like home not a hotel. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly. I highly recommend it. Everything worked and the environment was beautiful, pleasant and relaxing.

This is my 3rd visit to this hotel. I have always stated this was a good hotel. The last time we stayed here was about 2 years ago. It really hasn't changed since last time we was there. The rooms are decent but still need pull out beds in the rooms for those of us with kids, especially since the center court is designed to be nice for all families. The coke machines this go around had expired sodas by about 2 months so they was flat, but the front office staff gave refund and even asked if I would like them to run next door to pick me up some drinks was very nice. Breakfast was ok, but still seems weird that I cant get the food myself and they keep wanting to limit some of the better things IE BACON. We will still consider this hotel when we go back to New Orleans.

We were a group of eight. We got three rooms, the request was for all non-smoking. Beautiful, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, the staff is wonderful. Our only damper was that one of the three rooms had been smoked in by the previous guest. We reported this to the Receptionist next morning but she did not react.

I stay in hotel rooms more often than I do my own home. Roughly 200 nights per year. This hotel had been selected by someone else in the company, in order to house all of our contingency for a trade show in New Orleans. We were scheduled to have nine total rooms, including one for the owner of the company. The rooms were booked through Expedia. Five of us had already come early to set up for the show, and had been staying in the rooms for two days. The hotel had everyone's information, addresses, and phone numbers. All five of us. After management was picked up at the airport, it was after 6 o'clock, and we got to the hotel well after that. Unfortunately, the rooms that were booked on Expedia two months prior, had been booked with a credit card which had been replaced a month later. Remember, we picked up Management at roughly 6 PM. Once we get to the counter to check in the remaining group, we are told that the reservations have been canceled, and the rooms were booked to other people. Needless to say, we were not pleased. Their excuse was that it was the "system". It automatically dropped the reservations, because of the card. Even if that were the case, they had all of our information to reach anyone of the five that were already staying at the hotel. They didn't bother to call anyone of us to let us know. There wasn't even a hint that the four rooms we had reserved were not going to be available if the situation wasn't rectified immediately. All it would've taken was a simple phone call. We believe it was because they then booked the rooms at a higher rate. They certainly didn't waste any time doing it. That is a horrible way to do business. We wound up putting the management group in another hotel nearby for over $200 a night. Double what we were to pay. This hotel was unapologetic, unabashedly cold in their efforts to help. We were never even contacted by the hotel manager after they screwed this up. Not one time. I personally have been here for over a week. This is part of my territory, and I have to work the area. Anyone who knows New Orleans, knows that if you don't have a reservation well in advance, it's very difficult to find a room in this town. Otherwise, I would've made other arrangements immediately. As for the hotel, the rooms are remodeled, and the courtyard with the swimming pool is actually quite nice. The Internet is worthless, because it's so sporadic in its working order. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I have been constantly switching from one Wi-Fi antenna to the other in order to get service. And you have to constantly keep reentering their username, and password. The breakfast area in the morning has a gatekeeper to the food. No, really. I'm not kidding. Apparently, they don't trust their guests to get their own food. You have to wait for someone to get it for you. It is the most ridiculous thing I have experienced in a hotel that serves breakfast. Anywhere. I was floored when I found that out. Needless to say, I paid for my own breakfast outside of the hotel every day. We admit fault on the credit card not going through. What we will not take blame for, is a complete lack of courtesy by the staff in not contacting any of us and letting us know that our reservations were about to go bad. This is the first review have ever written on here, because it was just one thing after another with this hotel. I would avoid staying here if I were you.

We had to stay a night in New Orleans with multiple events going on which raised the rates to $350+ a night. We decided to bite the bullet and cross the river and stay here. With our government rate we got an awesome deal, and what a surprise once we got inside and saw the place! The room was beautiful and huge. The courtyard was so pretty and you would never know it looked like this from the outside. The eating area for the breakfast is a little cramped. Worth the drive from the city.

This is the only place I stay when in New Orleans for business. Great Hotel bar and will soon have a wonderful new restaurant attached. The staff is more than accommodating and goes above and beyond whenever needed.

The room was clean, decent decor and large enough for 5 of us (with an air mattress on the floor). They have rooms around a central courtyard and the window opens to an outdoors hallway basically like a motel. The courtyard is pretty, the pool is nice and there are lots of chairs for relaxing. Except for a few hours a day when the sun is at its peak, the court yard is shaded which in New Orleans is probably a good thing. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom had the sink separate from the shower and toilet which is nice when 5 people are getting ready. Breakfast was very good and the staff were pleasant. Cons: Ice makers on the 3rd and 2nd floor were all out of service. There were groups of young adults (baseball team and dance troupe) staying while we were there. One guy got drunk and was yelling, swearing and screaming in the courtyard. It turned into a show with everyone on the balconies and another lady joining in the screaming. It only lasted about 15 min before the manager threatened to call the police which quieted everyone down. This was not really the hotels fault and they handled it very well except for waiting a bit long to step in. Neighborhood is mixed. It felt a bit run down but the car had a car top carrier on it and was not bothered. We also walked a half mile to an EXCELLENT place to eat and I felt safe (would not have let my girls walk alone). Location is decent as it is only 15 minutes from French Quarter and an easy drive. I would stay again and recommend it as long as you understand it is a Best Western and not the Carlton.

We enjoyed another great stay. Staff is always great and attentive. Been there as a couple several times and I enjoy taken groups many times. Great safe location with lots of local conveniences and restaurants. About 10 to 15 minutes into the French Quarter.

I must have come on the wrong day. There was a shouting match which turned into a shoving match in the hotel courtyard in the hot tub area that also extended up to the balconies. I was in a room overlooking the courtyard with only a large window separating me from the ruckus. We could also hear conversations in the courtyard each night. Had I been by myself I would have requested to change rooms to one that was away from the courtyard. The rest of the stay was ok. Good hot breakfast, good bed, good service, etc.

If your ever in the New Orleans area this is the place to stay, it has the old stile French Quarter look and feel with a nice laid back atmosphere with a great court yard bar with Roxanne as your bartender she is a real sweet heart go see her she will make you laugh until your sides hurt. The Beds are great and the rooms never smell. This is the only place we stay at when in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western, Harvey, La. very much. This is not our first experience with this chain and have always found the accomodations, cleanliness, courtesy of staff and the amenities to our satisfaction.

We have stayed here many times and refer this place to lots of people. Very nice pool area. The breakfast is awesome and staff is exceptional. Very clean. There is always someone seen sweeping or cleaning in some fashion. The area has lots of shopping close by. Clothing, drug stores, grocery stores or whatever.

Customer service ladies were great...Thanks Rena, Belinda and Nancy......Rooms and hotel were very clean.....Highly recommend this hotel.....Refrigerator(mini) and microwave included.....Free Wi-Fi and easy to find....Fast food restaurant nearby....

The visit was good. The only problem I had was with the room cleaness. There was tras under the edge of the bed. I don't know how it was missed because of the inability to reach under the bed. The light next to the bed would not remain on. There was an obstruction due to the mattress.

My home is originally New Orleans, La. I have been living in Houston, Tx for the past 16 years. I also have a large family living in NOLA. However the wife and I enjoy the privacy of staying at a quality hotel rather than with family members. We have a catering business and come home to NOLA frequently for our food items (seafood). I love this city (NOLA).
