This hotel is an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway. The property is clean, modern, and well maintained, with ample parking available for guests. The reception team was exceptionally welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. In particular, Zach at reception stood out with his charming, professional, and attentive service, which truly enhanced our experience. Our room was spacious and comfortable for two people, and we especially enjoyed the beautiful terrace overlooking the surrounding vineyards. The hotel is ideally located, just a two-minute walk from the town centre. It is also a great base for exploring the charming neighbouring villages and towns of the Alsace region, which feel much less crowded and touristy than Colmar or Strasbourg. I would happily stay at this hotel again. However, I would not book half-board or dine at the hotel's restaurant in the future. While the breakfast buffet was generous and offered a good selection, the dinner experience was disappointing. The food appeared to consist largely of reheated convenience products rather than freshly prepared dishes, which did not meet our expectations for a hotel of this standard. In addition, communication in the restaurant was challenging, as the service staff spoke only French. While this may not be unusual in some areas, a hotel that welcomes international guests would benefit from having team members who can communicate in at least basic English. The biggest issue was staffing during dinner service. On one evening, the hotel was fully booked and was also hosting a large group with a pre-arranged reservation. Despite this, only three members of staff were working in the restaurant. As a result, the restaurant was unable to accommodate additional dinner reservations from hotel guests. Given that guest numbers and the group booking were known in advance, increasing staffing levels by even one or two additional employees would likely have improved the dining experience considerably. Overall, the hotel itself, the location, and the reception team were excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant experience fell significantly short of the otherwise high standard of the property.

"Lovely Hotel in beautiful Alsatian Wine Village"

Perfect in every way. Great rooms, à spa and an outside pool. On site parking, à great breakfast and good restaurant. We have visited every year for the last 5 years on our road trips from London to Italy. It's a perfect place to stay. The village of Riquewihr is one of the most beautiful villages in France and is a centre for Alsatian wine production with several famous producers here. The hotel sticks à really nice selection of them by the glass or bottle. A very well run and good value hotel which we will return to.

Upscale hotel in a great location just outside the walls of Riquewihr convenient to visiting the town or walking the vineyards. Friendly staff, comfortable cool room on a hot evening. Breakfast included a nice variety of hot and cold items with local cheese, enjoyed on the terrace. We did not try the evening meal. A little pricey, but worth it for the air conditioning.

This hotel has great staff, nice rooms, and loads of comfort available. A bar, restaurant, and pool are available as well. There is a Spa and a fitness room too! All meals can be had on the terrace if you're able to secure a table. And a 1 minute walks brings you to the main street of town.

Lovely modern hotel, very well designed with a feeling of space and light. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast out on the terrace was a delight on a warm sunny morning. Service was super friendly and there is a proper and easy access safe garage location to store and charge bikes. Clean and spacious saunas and steam room. A quiet location on the edge of town with an easy walk into the centre. All in all a great base to explore the surrounding area

I first came to the village in 1982 and could not get over how pretty it is so have made several return visits over the years. We have previously stayed within the ramparts, but decided to give the BW a try due to it's location just outside the ramparts, free parking and good reviews-we were not disappointed! A nice English-speaking lady checked us in and we were very pleased with our room with a bathroom and separate WC-all super-clean. Our room was lovely and quiet and over-looked the vineyards-just open the window in the morning to hear and watch the birds. : kites, buzzards, kestrels, storks and songbirds-lovely! Breakfast is a decent buffet with hot and cold items, pastries, cheeses, cold meats, jams, honey, juices etc etc. Speaking to the Manager we found that all the products are locally-sourced. This breakfast was reasonably priced and better than at our so-called 5 star hotel in Strasbourg! We enjoyed drinks on the terrace in the afternoons. All of the staff greet you when they see you and are all very efficient. We will stay here again when we return to Riquewihr.

Our 2nd visit, the first being September 2024 for 4 nights.....very easy access just outside of the village of Riquewihr with easy parking underground or outside, with some electric chargers available. The twin room was comfortable - on our previous visit we stayed in the room overlooking the vineyards with a balcony, which is recommended if available! Snacks on the terrace were appreciated after a long drive....the hotel offers a good restaurant. Pet friendly.....the hotel also has a swimming pool. The village is an easy walk away and of course well worth a visit! Good breakfast.
