Hotel KLE, BW Signature Collection

Good value stay right in the centre of Kayserberg. The rooms are comfortable with good beds and nice bed linen and towels. Because of the nature of the building the space is a bit limited, particularly the bathroom, but the shower and bathroom facilities are modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. A particular mention to Alexis on reception who was an excellent help to us when we arrived. We were able to take advantage of the hotel's free parking in a space within 100 metres of the hotel.

Very boutique hotel - it's an old vineyard, that has been rebuilt, very charming. Nice and varied selection at breakfast, in the evening you can get a board with a selection of charcuteri and cheese and wine from a local vineyard. But the best was the serviceminded, kind and friendly staff, english speaking, always ready to help and guide. I had a very nice single room, spacious and the right place to relax and get ready for another day in the beautiful Alsace region.

Five stars for location (30 second walk from the heart of beautiful village), four stars for room and breakfast, four stars for staff (very helpful and accommodating), three stars for shower (good water pressure but really space) and zero stars for internet access (absolute worse Wi-Fi access of all the hotels we stayed in during our three week trip). So, if consistent Wi-Fi is important to you when you travel, avoid this hotel at all costs. But, if not, enjoy your stay in this lovely centrally located little gem of a hotel.

The service is impeccable and sincere, and the historical property is just awesome. Room is more than comfortable, though the shower was smaller than usual. Very thoughtful coffee and tea supplies. Excellent value.

Kaysersberg is not a big village so not that many hotel options. Having said so, this is an excellent option. Small and cozy hotel with lots of personality. Rooms have everything you may need. Small bar/breakfast room. The staff have multiple hats, meaning that if someone is checking in you may need to wait for service in the bar. But they were all so nice so that is no big issue. Would come back for sure.

Stayed at the KLE whilst visiting Kaysersberg at the end of 2023. My room was very nice - with a bath rather then a shower, which was a bit different to what I'm used to but I adapted! Located a five minute walk from the large car parks but an otherwise good location in the town.

This is a lovely small hotel with well thought out rooms and friendly & helpful staff. We were here for just one night, passing through on a walking holiday, but the Kle team really made it memorable. I had mentioned our dietary needs in advance of traveling and they made a big effort to make sure we had plenty for breakfast. Thank you Team Kle.

I am a Platinum Member of Best Western and had booked a "flexible member rate" room at the Best Western Site of Hotel Kle, so there would be no costs if I needed to cancel my booking. I actually needed to cancel my booking shortly after and did it through the BW website. When I checked my credit card bill three weeks after the cancellation, I found out that Hotel Kle had charged my credit card to the full amount, although I had booked the flexible member rate! I was really shocked as I travel a lot and this has never ever happened before. Not with Best Western, not with other hotels. The hotel hadn't realized that they had made a mistake. There hadn't been a reimbursement within three weeks. So I first called them and told them that they made a mistake and asked to reimburse me my money back. The lady on the phone said she had to talk to the manager first, she couldn't tell me if they would reimburse. So I sent my cancellation confirmation to them via mail, asking again for reimbursement. They answered the next day that the reason for charging my credit card was "pre-authorization". I honestly couldn't believe what I read. Why would a hotel pre-authorize my credit card after a cancellation of a flexible member rate? And pre-authorizations never appear on my credit card bill anyway. They charged my card for no reason and didn't admit they made a mistake. But they reimbursed it then. Anyway, something like this shouldn't happen. And if it did, they should realize themselves that they made a mistake and reimburse - and not wait for the customer to ask his money back.

The historic hotel is situated in the center of Kayserberg Village. The lobby and rooms are modern, and the hotel is equipped with elevators and individually controlled air conditioning were a big plus. Room was a bit small but a large shower and sink area made up for any minor inconvenience. A safe in place as well. Breakfast offered is very good or you can step outside and find multiple cafes/bakeries for a great French breakfast. Parking area is offsite and 5 minutes walk. We easily drove up to the hotel to unload and pack again. Overall, excellent hotel and amenities for the price we paid. We stayed 3 nights and been to all the surrounding villages. We all liked Kayserberg village the most.

Very nice hotel in an old but nicely restaurated building. Rooms are small (couldn't do bigger due to the building), clean and pleasant. Large bed. Personell was really friendly and helpful. Top located for the small village of Kaysersberg.

I stayed three nights at KLE, and I would definitely go back if I were to stay in Kaysersberg again. Very central location. Very nice rooms. Good breakfast. And generally very friendly staff. Parking about 200 meters from the hotel

Stayed 2 nights as part of a longer trip. The first night I stayed in room 203. At first after check in I thought the smell of cleaning chemicals and perfume were very strong. I assumed they would fade and all would be well. Returned after dinner and found it was still strong but we were tired so we went to bed anyway. Woke up in the morning to the most nauseating smell of sewer gas you can imagine. We quickly packed and prepared to either move to another room or leave as the stench was unbearable. The innkeeper had another room so we moved for the second night. The innkeeper explained that they did not know why it was that way but they were aware of the problem, and could not fix it. Any red flags yet? The hotel knows there is a plumbing problem in the room which dumps sewer gases into the room and yet they continue to book guests into it. Enough said. What makes it sad is the people who work there are friendly, kind, helpful people.

We stayed in this very nice hotel for 1 night. The city of Kaysersberg is an absolute gem and we wanted to stay inside the city walls this time. Hotel Kle was a very good choice. Although the town can get really busy, this hotel is located in a quiet side street. Check in was smooth and the room was very nice. The only little problem was that there was no shower gel, but that was solved quickly. Other than that, no remarks whatsoever. Breakfast was nice, but unfortunately very busy. Although you had to give your desired time in advance, everyone seemed to be there at the same time. Tables very close to each other, we even had to work our way around some tables to find a free table. Definitely not Covid-proof. But apart from that, we can really recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay in this beautiful little town!

This is a gem of a hotel, in a renovated old building. Kaysersberg is a pittoreske village, everywhere you look there are beautiful buildings, streets and views to see. We have been to the hotel twice now, and love the hospitality.

My wife and I stayed in the small town of Kaylesberg in July 20, post C19. The hotel is situated in the centre of town. There is no parking at the hotel, but at this time all public parking was free and only 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel staff speak several languages and all of those we interacted with were very helpful. Our room was small, but very modern and clean. Breakfast during these times was served to you in the bar area. A selection of pastries, bread, cheeses, fruit and cereal was available. Breakfast can be taken to you in the room if you wish. Overall a lovely little hotel in the heart of Kaylesberg. Very much worth a visit/stay.

We have chosen this hotel by accident and we are glad we did it. The hotel is in the city centre with only walking distance from everything. The personnel was very polite and the room was clean! Definitely recommended!

While our friends stayed at the most luxurious hotel in town, we chose the KLE for its low price and quiet location. The bathrooms are well-fitted into an improbably small space, but everything works well.

Very friendly small hotel, modern rooms, and a recent refit of the breakfast area. Arrived very late at night, so was a problem with getting food in Kaysersberg, but was offered fruit and croissant which was a nice touch, the parking is a few minutes walk away at the police station and is a bit of a pain lugging suitcases and the parking pass backwards and forwards when you arrive/depart, but would not let that put you off. Have stayed a few times now and would happily recommend.

This newly renovated, intimate hotel ticks all of the boxes one would expect for an enjoyable visit to Kaysersberg and the Alsace region. The location is very central, right in the village center. We couldn‘t park next to the hotel, but reception handed us a parking token for the public parking in 5 minutes walking distance. Overall, the receptionists were very welcoming, leaving the sauna on for us until late on our day of arrival. The hammam steam bath and the Finnish sauna are really nice. The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. We really enjoyed the varied breakfast buffet with lots of local specialties.

The hotel is in an old building with renovated, modern décor. The front desk staff could not have been nice. They let us use a table in their breakfast area for our little happy hour. They also accommodated us with plates and cooled the wind. The rooms are on the small side. Our room was a little larger (room 308) and located at the end of the hall. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is nicely located, easy to walk to main area for dining and shopping. They provide free parking in a city lot a couple of blocks for the hotel.

This is a really nice hotel with in a lovely atmosphere. Felt so welcoming from the staff from the very first beginning when I made the booking. Rooms are perfect and Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast ok. Was a little bit worried about the parking places but hotel has a parking place for 4 cars and also a garage, max 2 places Can definitively recommend this lovely hotel and will definitively be back.

My wife and I and some friends stayed at the Hotel Kle in September 2019. The hotel is freshly renovated and fitted out, combining modern amenities and a historic building with flair. The rooms are compact but very comfortable and the staff are unfailingly polite and helpful. Being set back from the Main Street, the hotel is quieter than those right on the Main Street. Excellent buffet breakfast with some local specialities like Kugelhopf and Chinois pastries. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.
