Hotels in Midi-Pyrénées: what our guests say

Le Moulin de Moissac, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western
"Old world charm and all mod cons"
Nick H, 23 Septembre 2026

Good hotel with charm and ambience in a building that was once a water mill. Hotel is furnished and equipped to a high standard. The staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is excellent. The setting on the bank of the Garonne is out of this world. Strongly recommend this hotel which combines old world charm with all modern cons and moderate prices. A wonderful exoerience

Best Western Beausejour
"Pleasant"
198carmelf, 20 Septembre 2026

Two night stay. Hotel chosen for proximity to train station and price. 1. Just a very short walk from the train station; 2. Although not located in town or near the Sanctuary, the L5 bus ( stop located across the street from hotel) drops you off right by the sanctuary entrance and in town for only 1 euro; 3. Room: Clean, comfortable and roomy (for Europe) with great air conditioning. Awkward room layout, as toilet was on one side of the room, while the bathroom and washbasin were located on the opposite side of the room; 4. Staff: friendly and helpful; 5. Best to have breakfast in town and skip the breakfast buffet; and 6. All in all, would probably stay here again.

Best Western Plus Hotel Divona Cahors
"Excellent Hotel"
Mark D, 09 Septembre 2026

We arrived hoping for an early check in. The receptionist was most helpful and friendly and we were checked in in minutes. The staff are really great and made us feel welcome. I wished we had booked for a longer stay and we will definitely be back. We booked a room that looked out to the river and the bridge and the extra fee was worth it for the view.

"AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE"

i would avoid this place as much as possible. The service is so bad. front desk and waiting staff are the worse you will ever meet. grumpy and rude. food was very bad as well. they couldn't care less for clients. outrageous place. avoid avoid avoid. the terrace was always basically empty when we looked - no wonder .people run a mile. the place where no one cares.....

"Great location by the river, lovely view"
Daisyh14, 05 Août 2026

The hotel is in a quiet area of town, about 10 minutes' walk from the centre. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. You can order food to eat in the dining room, on the terrace or in your room at most times of day, unusual in our experience of France. The menu could be a bit more restricted depending on the time, possibly less choice for room service.

"A good stop for cyclists"
RandwickBakery, 07 Juillet 2026

I stayed here twice whilst cycling from Bordeaux to Sete and back. On both occasions the welcome was efficient and professional, the hotel has secure and easily accessible cycle storage. My room(s) were good value, clean and well equipped - and most importantly this June had good a/c. Staff make a hotel and the front desk staff were truly excellent coping with an early arrival and ensuring I could have my room early. Breakfast was good, I did not eat at the hotel preferring to enjoy the atmosphere and in the town centre.

Best Western Premier Le Domaine de Montjoie
"extremely awful. Dont go there"
Clare L, 25 Juin 2026

Couldnt give any care or inteterest at all. It is at the most a “reps” hotel where they are fawned about for no reason at all. . The staff could not even pass a civil passtime with foreign guests who had chosen their hotel. They must not like what they do.They wouldnt serve a meal or drink because they were too busy. It was not late and we had sent a message ahead via booking. com to say our eta of 7.30-8pm The only thing said other than giving us a key was: “ you have to eat in your room he said” No I dont think so I said! …that was our welcome from reception guy! We then had to go out for something to eat around 8.30 in a not particulary nice student area but at least the people in the french “pub” wanted to practice their English snd were pleasant.. We cannot recommend this place which is trying to be something it is unable to be because of its staff or structure or ability in the service of hospitality. Shame really, as we always had such a nice time at BEST Western Gergovie, near Clermont Ferrand on our trips through France. From seasoned Francophiles who are very unimpressed by this so called hotel

"Great hotel in a great location"
Graeme A, 14 Juin 2026

An excellent hotel in a great location with views of the Pont Valentre. Our room was spacious and clean and a lovely balcony with great view of the Lot river and 'Pont'. Breakfast was wonderful and they had a super gadget for making your own boiled egg - never seen this before! The outside areas were great and there is an indoor pool - good for exercise or just splashing about. The staff were absolutely brilliant and made our stay very easy. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Grand Hotel de l'Opera, BW Premier Collection
"GOTTA stay here!"
Eva M, 20 Mai 2026

The staff at this hotel is wonderful. We had upgraded suite and it was spotless and very nice.

"An amazing staff team -- very helpful"
Neil S, 19 Mai 2026

The staff here were so friendly and helpful. They made the stay. Thanks to Valentin, Clara, Carla, and Maureen. Rooms were fine -- very pleasant cleaning staff. Breakfast was excellent. -- and we enjoyed chatting with Fabien. And the location right in the centre of it all but with the hotel being set back down an alley it was very quiet. All-round -- highly recommended.
