Hotels in Languedoc-Roussillon: what our guests say

Best Western Plus Hotel Canet-Plage
"Excellent stay"
LondonSenorita, 04 Octobre 2026

Excellent hotel and service. Christopher on reception was very helpful and all the staff so friendly. Bedrooms have everything including a great sea view if you book level 5 at the front. Breakfast is delicious and has a buffet with many choices. I highly recommend staying here on the sea front. Buses nearby and the beach is sandy and lovely swimming. Very comfortable stay and I will return.

Best Western L'Orangerie
"Really bad experience"
GVMLuxII, 26 Septembre 2026

We arrived at the hotel around 19:30 on a saturday, after a long road trip. We wanted obviously to relax, have a small meal or a glass of beer to close the day. Should not be difficult as this is a 4 stars hotel. However… we arrived and we were informed that the restaurant is closed during the weekends…. no other restaurants around (there was one which closed). So we said, OK give me just a beer. Two options. We selected one. Once it came, it was a stale beer of a barrel which was either old or leaking gas. Great experience… The lady at the reception was doing everything she could, but she could not do miracles. No food, no restaurant, not even chips… I repeat: 4 stars hotel… Honestly, this hotel needs to be downgraded to a maximum of 2 stars. There is a major management (or lack thereof) issue. This is a joke.

Best Western Hotel Le Guilhem
"Next to the Montpellier Cathedral"
ANGELO V, 18 Septembre 2026

Best Western Hotel Le Guilhem is in the Ecusson area of Montpellier, the old city centre. It is very close to Montpellier Cathedral, and to the main sightseeing points in the city. It is 20 minutes walking from the railway station Montpellier Saint-Roch (or 10 minutes by tram). I was here for one night, and my room was very good and spacious, with a view on the Cathedral. The bed was comfortable and cleanliness was very good. Insulation from outside noise was poor: this was not a problem since the area is quiet. It was a problem every time the Cathedral bells were tolling, or when people sang outside the Cathedral at night... The bathroom was good, wi-fi was also very good, and staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Best Western Plus Hotel Comedie Saint-Roch
"Three nights in Montpellier"
ANGELO V, 18 Septembre 2026

Best Western Plus Hotel Comedie Saint-Roch is well located: just in front of the railway station, in close range for the trams, and just five minutes away from the city center. My room was OK, with a comfortable bed. Insonorisation from outside noise was poor. Cleanliness was good. The bathroom was barely OK: there was no space to leave the soap, and no racks for the bath towels. Breakfast was just OK. No decaf coffee was available, either at breakfast, or in the room. Wi-fi worked fine, and staff were OK.

Best Western Le Vauban
"Very warm welcome"
mikesei1956, 09 Septembre 2026

This was our first stop on our trip west through the Pyrenees. It was such an enjoyable experience because of the outstanding desk staff. An Irish woman explained everything about the hotel and the wonderful view we had from our room. You can see it in the picture from the pool. The next morning Paula was very helpful with breakfast. Both went way beyond the usual desk help to express genuine interest in our trip and giving helpful insight. It was better than any Best Western greeting we have ever had and we have been staying at Best Western for more than 20 years. These two women made us feel very welcome and we want to give them both a big thank you🤗

Rob J, 26 Août 2026

"A unique castle experience with great vibe and restaurant"
CORKROSS, 09 Août 2026

Excellent stay in a unique hotel- We had a duplex family room which was so great when traveling with young teenagers. The staff could not be friendlier and we had fantastic meals in the restaurant both nights. The pool is lovely and there were bikes to go exploring. We would definitely come back!

"Montpellier with kids"
fawzia y, 25 Juillet 2026

Kevin was amazing, goes above and beyond for guests. My daughter had an eye injury in the park during our stay, Kevin was very helpful with helping us find the nearest open pharmacy. My son's teddy bear head was falling off, he run into the hotel telling Kevin " Oh no! his head is coming off" he assessed the bear and found a solution for my son! It was a sweet moment to see as a family on the road with young children. Older tall night receptionist not so kind and also very grumpy. Kids had an amazing time there. Breakfast was fair.

Best Western Terra Alta Perpignan Aeroport
"Our very first trip to the South-West of France"
aldoU8445LF, 23 Juillet 2026

Our very first trip to the South-West of France and what an amazing discovery! We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The welcome was warm, the staff attentive and always smiling we instantly felt at home. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well equipped. A special mention for the breakfast buffet: generous, varied, and of excellent quality the perfect way to start the day! The value for money is outstanding, truly exceeding our expectations. The large parking area is also a real plus and very convenient. We would also like to give a special thank you to the lady at the reception desk, whose name we unfortunately didn't catch, but who spoke perfect English. Her recommendations helped us discover this beautiful region and made our stay even more memorable. This stay completely won us over and made us fall in love with the region. We're already planning to come back very soon! A place we highly recommend without hesitation

"A step back in time"
RPaulin, 14 Juillet 2026

We had really a wonderful time in the hotel. The staff, especially Madeleine at reception, the director who told us about the history of the hotel, and the young men serving dinner. The bedroom was fresh and cool, even during this heatwave so we had the best night's sleep we've had in a long time. The food was excellent. We hope to return very soon!
