difficult to find even with satnav, basic small and dark rooms with bad smell, without minibar, lots of moskitos inside the rooms, no possibilty to regulate the aur-con, no restarant, basic breakfast with dry baguettes, the only good thing was the proximity of the highway

Best Western Hotelio Sud review, I have to say this is probably the best customer service hotel I've ever been to. And coming from the US, the breakfast you get really puts other Best Westerns in America to shame. In the US, the most exciting part of the breakfast in to make your own Belgian waffle, but in France, it's a selection of cheeses, meats, fruits, pancakes, juices, coffees, chocolate croissants, jams, and breads, breads, breads! Can you tell I liked the breakfasts? Now, to the hotel stay… When I first arrived, I met Theo who was friendly and who spoke perfect English, which I was not expecting. I was worried about speaking French and I was amazed how many people speak multiple languages at your hotel. Nina and Romain, the managers, were both accommodating and helpful when I needed to extend my stay and even invited me to their lunch one day along with Laurence, who was the head of housekeeping. I felt like part of their family. Laurence was very organized and always gave me a smile. The hotel was extremely clean and the whole crew of housekeeping was hard-working, including the daily pool attendant. Emma and Theo were always there to help me with anything I needed especially when I hurt my back and needed a taxi to get to a doctor. I really was grateful for their empathy and impeccable customer service. Kenza and Emma helped call me multiple taxis. Emma and Lea A. suggested several unforgettable spots to sight-see. Steven gave me a lesson on wines at the bar while Theo served up a fantastic Panini as they both ran the front desk and served other customers at the bar and in the dining room. On other nights, I was served by Lilou, Youri, and Brian who also were friendly and ran the front desk. In the dining room, Lea C. was always there to serve me dinner and explain the dishes and desserts. She was so sweet and I enjoyed talking to her. I have to say that Elyes, the chef, personally served me some of the best meals I've ever tasted. The first night I was there I ordered the chicken, parsnips and potatoes, and I told Theo it was fantastic. Theo brought the chef out of the kitchen and I met Elyes, and after that night, he would personally serve me his meals. The lasagna was my favorite and the fish was delectable and I'm not a fan of fish! But he would bring me little bits of food I didn't even order just to taste his cooking and everything he made was amazing. I cannot say enough about the staff at Hotelio Montpellier Sud, they are all wonderful! I had a happy, memorable stay and I will return again. The customer service from all of them was worth writing a review for. They are running a beautiful, clean hotel tucked away in an unforgettable corner of the world and they made my stay absolutely wonderful. Thank you, Jennifer

The guy who checked us in was wonderful, very helpful, and friendly. He was so nice especially when ordering dinner. He made ours stas so enjoyable. The hotel and our room is pretty nice and clean. Overall, we are very happy and satisfied. Thank you

Nice basic hotel in an excellent location. We chose the hotel primarily because of it's location, being right opposite the Sant Roch main train station. It's also right on a few tram lines. We didn't have breakfast there but rooms were OK and clean, and with a mini balcony overlooking the main street. With the windows closed the room was fairly quiet. Would recommend, mainly due to location.

Nice hotel with young and kind personnel. Good restaurant for an easy dinner and well assorted breakfast buffet. Well set up room with enough space for luggage and useful shelf in the restroom. Only disanvantage: far from the town, but very handy for the motorway.

Close the the main autoroute but quiet place at night. Rooms comfortable. Not much going on around this location, ate in the hotel, food was not that great for dinner. Breakfast was good. Would not choose for more that a quick stopover, price was average.

Terrible and one more time terrible! Friendly on the phone when booked two rooms for my family. Booking confirmed on the phone. My emailed request to confirm my booking in writing has remained ignored. On the day before arrival, we have phoned the hotel and asked to confirm our booking. They did not find the booking, asked us to send the request by email and disappeared at all. Without a hotel booking confirmation 20 hours prior arrival is somewhat risky to end up before hotel with no rooms to overnight in a busy city and after 5 hours driving. I would never ever neither stay with them nor recommend to someone else since they are simply not client oriented.

Everything almost OK but: location very far away from downtown, very thin separation door between the rooms (I could listen every sound coming from next room). OK free parking, breakfast basic but good, same for dinner.

We stayed one night after a late arriving flight into MPL before heading further southwest for the remainder of our vacation. The triple room was tiny, with no room beyond the bed for luggage or anything other than a tiny pathway. Dinner at the restaurant was rubbish, nothing more than a repackaging of the cheese and meats that you get for free at breakfast. Staff were at least pleasant, especially in the evening. Could be much, much better.

Use my payment card as your own - remove double payment. Letters are not answered, money is not returned. At the reception they make up a deposit about which there is not a word about booking. It is dishonorable and just a scam.

This is a very nice reasonably priced hotel but.. you ideally need a car as it's in a Montpellier suburd, Lattes, and nothing nearby. The rooms are a bit small but adequate. Comfortable double beds and pillows. Breakfast was a good selction and again reasonably priced. In the evenings they had a set three-course dinner for EUR 18. Again good value. I had delicious spicy squid rings followed by, to my surprise, fish and sweet potato chips. Good white wine and and a choice of two German draft beers.

Price quality a perfect hotel in my opinion, to stay with friends. Not so much for a couple. Location is nice if you have a car, it's between the beach and the center. Rooms small but clean and very comfortable beds. Friendly staff, breakfast good for its price,... I would stay here again!
