The hotel is accessible to the metro train, for shopping and restaurants. People at the reception are very kind and accommodating. They're are the best, their kindness and hospitality are truly appreciated. It is worth recommending. If we plan to go back to Paris with our kids, we will surely be staying here.
Convenient and closer to everything. The room was a bit on the smaller side. Bed vary comfortable. room was always clean. Bathroom size was great. over all excellent locations and a good hotel to stay in. TV Channels had about 5 English-speaking channels. Having a little freeze was a plus. Eight days stayed we didn't have any problems with our room or the hotel. Staff were very welcoming.
C'est fantastique!!!! The perfect start to our vacation. Nice neighborhood with shops, cafes, and most importantly a fabulous boulangerie; all walking distance. Our room had a partial view of the Eiffel tower which was icing on the cake. (also walking distance) Best most comfortable bed on our European stay. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating, great breakfast and bar. Will definitely book other stays in Best Westerns on our next vacation.
We needed a place to stay last-minute after our AirBnB property fell through. This was the only affordable queen bed room we could find and book immediately for 8 days, in the middle of Paris Fashion Week. The room was small but comfortable. The breakfast was filling and a reasonable price compared to area restaurants. The location was ~5 minutes walk to two different Metro stations that took us everywhere we wanted to go. A 20 minute walk took us to the banks of the Seine, not far from the Eiffel Tower. This hotel helped rescue our Paris trip.
If you're dreaming of a charming, quintessentially Parisian hotel stay, you may want to look elsewhere. The hotel's location is excellent. Safe, quiet, and within walking distance of the Trocadéro and the Eiffel Tower. That's where the positives end. The rooms are extremely dated, with damaged furniture and old, dirty carpeting. There was only one working plug point - perfect if you enjoy playing 'which gadget gets power today.' As a bonus, the TV was out of order. The storage cupboard was full of pillows and blankets, leaving no room for our belongings. The bathroom? A masterpiece of stains, mold, and a slow draining tub that leaves you standing in stagnant water as you bathe. There is no shower cubicle, just a tub with a splash guard that doesn't cover the whole area, so water ends up all over the floor. Housekeeping? Let's just say the beds remained unmade in an oddly minimalist statement, and the same stained pillows greeted us each night. Bathroom cleaning was a casual affair, and if you were hoping for a fresh coffee spoon, don't—they've likely gone missing along with the attention to detail. After 5 pm, the hotel is strangely devoid of staff. One evening, I went to the front desk to ask a question, and the person there told me he didn't actually work at the hotel. He was just filling in temporarily until a staff member shows up for their shift at 8 pm. Breakfast was chaotic, with only one overworked soul single handedly welcoming guests, serving tables, cleaning up, and refilling the buffet. The elevator is another delightful quirk - so small, it's more of a suggestion for one person and a bag. We made multiple trips just to move ourselves and our luggage in and out, which really added to the “experience.” I have visited Paris several times and this was by far my most disappointing stay.
This is a very quaint, typically French hotel on a quiet street. Although the property is older, it has been updated and was immaculately clean. The breakfast which is available for an additional fee was more than worth the price, with many very substantial offerings. The staff was wonderfully helpful in getting taxis and other needs while we were there. There are many options for restaurants and other amenities which are walkable. All in all, a great experience for our first time in Paris!!
Really nice hotel in a perfect location. The rooms are not large but comfortable. The breakfast is wonderful and the service friendly and professional. We have stayed at the Trocadero 5 times and will return again. The location, just steps away from the shopping district and restaurants is perfect !
We stayed for 3 nights in Paris and Im glad we chose this hotel. Its less than 15 min. walk from Eiffel Tower, close to a shoping center and cafe is just around the corner. Le Favorite Cafe is just few steps away from the hotel. The breakfast is outstanding, staff are polite and very attentive to our needs. Room is clean but not too spacious. We'll definitely stay if we come to Paris again.
My daughter (16) and I stayed at this hotel 21-25AUG. Front desk staff were very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning with lots to choose from. The breakfast room attendant was extremely friendly and quick with my tea each morning. This was a great location for an easy walk to the Eiffel tower. Also a great location for shopping and dining. We walked a lot and felt very safe. Easy access to the metro/RER depending where we were off to each day. I would definitely return and would recommend to others. Our room was quaint as expected. Absolutely loved the ambiance of the entire hotel.
this is a great Hotel, the location could not be better for me, good neighbourhood and near to trocadero/eiffel tower you can walk and also there is a metro station at 400 m. breakfast is so good and I got a good price for 4 night. I fully recommend to book this hotel as couple of family. Thanks
Breakfast, hotel and champagne package was awesome...so reasonable. Room was comfortable with roomy balcony . Would definitely stay here again. Staff were friendly and helpful. Love the chocolate placed in the room..nice touch. Great location..restaurants and shops nearby.
It was a lovely hotel in a great location with excellent staff - especially the breakfast staff who handled the full service virtually alone. They were always friendly and responsive. I will definitely book this again when staying in the 16th.
This hotel was perfect. We had a lovely spacious family room (1 adult, 2 teens). The decor was in keeping with that Parisian style while being clean, comfortable and fully functional, which included the gorgeous ensuite bathroom. The staff were all lovely, we loved the breakfast room and buffet, and the location could not have been better. 5 mins walk to the Trocadero, lovely shops, cafes and restaurants at each end of the street, and right on the Metro M6 for easy access to the main city sights.
Chose this hotel for the very last portion of our Honeymoon! Wonderful location, staff, and experience! I would highly recommend visiting and staying here. It is close to everything! Even the Metro is located a short walk which was very helpful when we were trying to get around Paris. Would love to return one day but will definitely be recommending this hotel to others. Thank you again!
I have stayed here several times. The hotel is starting to feel a bit worn. The hotel is conveniently located. Most of the staff are friendly enough especially the manager who is the best. I would have liked to have a bathrobe placed in the room as advertised on the website. I let it go because when we did ask for something like an extra towel or creamer it was met with dismay. We ate breakfast the first day however we opted to go out the following days because there were ants on the bread. Unfortunately we had a noisy neighbor who enjoyed slamming their door and yelling into the phone at all hours. We also had a family above us and across from us with very noisy little ones. Considering we paid almost $500 per night and are still trying to get our Best Western points correctly entered I did not think we received the value for our money.
Amazing location in Paris, close to two Subways. The room was spacious and well appointed. Nice size bathroom, fluffy towels. Close to the best shopping in a very safe arrondissement. Charming bar and breakfast area. The staff was helpul and nice. Recommended that we left earlier to go back to Charles de Gaulle as roads were closed during the WWII Commemoration and the US President attendance. Will go back next time we are in Paris.
The room war very comfortable, spacious and clean. The bed was a true king size and very comfortable. Some of the fixtures were a bit dated. The hotel was in a great location, located close to many stores and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay!
Wow, what a find this is. Brilliant location in the wonderful 16th, surrounded by high class shopping for all tastes and excellent good value restaurants to suit every palate. The warmest of welcomes on arrival and each day starts with a fabulous buffet breakfast in the conservatory.. Air conditioned bedroom with high ceilings and french windows that open onto a small balcony. The 32 bus stops at the end of Rue Massenet and will transport you into the heart of Paris. A short walk south west takes you to the Ranelagh gardens , the Musee Marmottan or Auteuil racecourse ( the purpose of my visit).
Overall I am satisfied with this hotel. It was away from the hustle and bustle of the center of Paris, but easily accessible 10 minutes by taxi to the Eiffel Tower/Trocadero area. Room was perfect for just myself... I would feel very cramped with another person. 3 little complaints though... 1. The "King" sized bed was 2 double beds pushed together and at times I would be laying right on the center of the bed and could feel the mattresses sliding apart. 2. They provided drying towels and hand towels, but no actual wash cloths. 3. My airline had misplaced my luggage upon my arrival. They had apparently found and delivered my luggage to my hotel by 6pm the same day, but i was not made aware until the next afternoon. I already complained with the airline about this, but when I checked with the front desk, the lady said "Oh we called your room once and you didn't answer". I was unsatisfied with that answer, first, because I could have had my luggage about 18 hrs before I actually received it. Second, the hotel has my personal phone number AND the room I am staying in. Calling the room phone ONCE does not cut it. I can understand wanting to keep the anonymity of the luggage, but leave a vague note on my door saying to stop by the desk. Try calling my personal number. Try calling my room at a later time. Something! Other than these things, the staff was very pleasant and always greeted me with a smile.
This was our first time in Paris without any prior knowledge, I booked this accomodation with much anxiety. I did reach out to the hotel a few weeks prior to arrival to relate this information and was told that the staff will take care of us and ensure we enjoy our stay in Paris. They even relate to us that our early arrival was not an issue and they had storage for our luggage until check in time. Despite this, I was still a bit nervous. I am happy to say that The Best Western Premier Trocadero La Tour lived up to all promises made. My daughers and I enjoyed our stay, we experienced a warm welcome, with smiling faces and check in was an easy process. The facility and our room was clean and they provided us with all that we need and requested. I especially looked forward to water, coffee, tea and chocolate being delivered to our room. I will definitely recommend The Best Western Premier Trocadero La Tour to friends and should I visit Paris in the future, this will be my place to rest. Thank You to the staff for taking care of us.
Great breakfast - simple yet complete. Rooms are comfortable and the location excellent. Quite. Easy walk to Eiffel tower
Great place to stay in a central area - short walk to Eiffel Tower (and the Hop-on Hop-off bus that we used a lot). Quaint restaurants also nearby. I would definitely recommend!
Very cosy hotel, nicely furnished, had a spirit. The bed was very comfortable. It was perfect that the floor in the room was warm. There was everything I needed in the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only breakfast missed gluten free bread.
i booked twice with a reasonable price and got cancelled twice it seems to me that the hotel can not honor their own price on the own website. it is very dangerous that you book this hotel and take a flight, then the hotel canceled your reservation without telling you till your arrive in late night paris. never trurst this hotel again!
Room and service as expected. Elevator too small, couldn't take our family of 3 with backpacks- had to squeeze in; request a lower floor if you have big bags. Location is a little away from the active restaurants and Eiffel area, but looked safe whenever we walked. Is easily within reach of Eiffel area with a 10 mins walk.
Very nice, quiet hotel on a quiet street near the Eiffel Tower. The room was clean, with ample space for four (2 adults and 2 adult children). We enjoyed the bar area and the complementary glass of sparkling wine. We would definitely stay here again,
We booked a superior room, which was about the size that we expected. However the layout was not comfortable and space was wasted, and the desk at the foot was an obstacle to comfortable use of the roo,. We were only there for one night so we didn't ask for it to be rearranged. Hot water in shower didn't work but they allowed us to use the shower in another room. We really appreciated the spacious and comfortable lounge.
Great hotel walking distance from the Eiffel tour. I have stayed in the hotel 2 times and will continue to book my stay here when visiting Paris. They have friendly stuff and delicious breakfast. I highly recommend it.
The hotel locates at quiet street but is very near Pl. du Trocadéro by 15 mins walk. The room is cozy with required facilities including fast internet connection, hot tub, quiet air-conditioning and etc. Worth to recommend it.
My sister and I stayed at this hotel from early September and left last Saturday. This hotel is located in a nice neighborhood and had lots of shops, boutiques and restaurants within walking distance. It is within walking distance of the eiffel tower as well. I don't know the hotel rating system is in France, so if you are choosing this hotel because it is a 4 star, I suggest that you don't. This is no different than a regular best western here in the US. The room we were in was rather small however this is not unique to this hotel, hotel rooms in Paris are rather small. We felt that the hotel was rather old. In fact our room smelled rather old. The elevator is really tiny, there's barely space for 2 people with luggage. Oh it is really slow, extremely slow! We were surprised to see that the room we were in didn't have an iron. We requested one and were given one that was not working with a broken ironing table. It took us a full day to get a new one and we had to ask multiple times. Also another disappointment was that I called reception to book a taxis that would take me to the airport, the girl at the reception asked me to go downstairs to the reception because I needed to answer a few questions. I get there she asked me for the time and day I needed the taxi and that what she needed me to go downstairs for! Then when I asked her how much it would cost and if I could pay with a credit she wasn't able to answer me. So after discussing this with my sister I decided to cancel the taxi, only for the same girl to tell me that I needed to email hotel reservations to cancel the taxi! Weird right! Which we did! An hour later, my sister went back to reception and talked to someone else and the person was able to cancel the taxi reservation right then and their. We thought these two incidents were handled in an interesting way!
Great location! Walk to Eiffel Tower and metro. Nice neighbourhood with a small plaza including grocery nearby. Café's and shops close by. The hotel has a great ambiance and our room was wonderful. We had one adult and 3 kids so had 4 single bed setup. I would go there again!
We stayed for a long weekend while attending a wedding in Paris. The hotel is quaint and comfortable in the old world European Character. The elevator is small but appreciated as the historic spiral staircase is as winding as it is beautiful. The location is very close to shops, cafes, and metro station. The room and bathroom were larger than expected and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and understanding. My partner broker her foot during our visit and they went to great lengths to assist us. The housekeeping staff were very attentive, and the front desk staff were exceptional. They were able to arrange comfortable yet affordable transportation from the airport, made recommendations for services and activities in the area, and were in general very polite and professional (despite the fact that our french is abhorrent). I want to especially acknowledge Melissa and Delphine who helped return a jacket that we accidentally left in the hotel room. We worked together to arrange a parcel pickup to ship the jacket back to us in the US! They were so kind and helpful and went above and beyond to help when the carrier did not provide the best options. The team came together and made our stay incredibly memorable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, thank you to the incredible staff!
A nice hotel in a quiet location with local vibes, lots of nice restaurants and small shops, Metro close by to take you down-town Paris, The Eiffel Tower is only a short walk from the hotel. Great parking options, either in the street or the Indigo Park near by. Friendly staff. We already look forward to our next visit.
This was my first experience staying in the 16th and I loved every minute of it. This hotel is located in the perfect location because you can easily go by train or taxis to anywhere in the city or just stay near the hotel because all of the restaurants were excellent and the shopping was beyond great. All of the trendy boutiques found downtown are here. As for the hotel, it was very chic, clean, courteous and helpful staff, wonderful decor, excellent breakfast and a lobby that invites guest to just relax. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here every time I visit Paris in the future. It is also located close to a wonderful park which is part of the Bois de Boulogne for those who may want a morning jog in nature.
The hotel is beautiful- full of old charm! The staff is helpful and friendly even if you don't speak French. And the location is outstanding. They even sent me recommendations of where to eat a week before we went that were close to the hotel. Would definitely stay again!
The hotel's location was unbeatable. We were walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and were able to sit in a nearby park to watch the tower light up at night! The hotel was also on a quiet street. Highly recommend this hotel.
We enjoyed our stay at the Trocadero with a spacious room and bathroom, charming facilities, and tasty breakfast selection. The location was a convenient walk to the Metro, the Eiffel Tower, and many restaurants and stores. We loved opening our French doors in the evening for the breeze and sights. The road construction outside was not an inconvenience for us, as we walked from the Metro station and did not hear any noise in the mornings. It was actually interesting to watch the installation of the new cobbles. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Paris.
Bad experience. Street construction means cannot drive to door and sidewalks are full of dust. Tiny elevator: they say it takes 3 people, it really only takes one person. Would definitely not recommend.
I return to this Hotel regularly because of the good location, the friendly, helpful staff, the good breakfast. This time my wife accompanied me. The hotel management was very kind to take into consideration of her dietary restrictions at breakfast.
We went for the French Open. The hotel location was perfect for it. Three tube stops and a 5 minute walk. Lots of cafes and supermarkets close for food. Only 10 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. Only wish we had a refrigerator in the room. Would stay at this location again.
Our family totally enjoyed our stay in Paris. The Trocadero de Tour Hotel was centrally located which gave us easy access to the sites of Paris. The staff at the Trocadero was fabulous. We felt very at home with their kindness and helpfulness. We must mention Alexi. A true gentleman. Alexi was a treasure trove of information about Paris and it's surroundings. Carole at reception was extremely nice and helpful to us as well. We were always greeted with a warm smile by hotel breakfast staff. Thank you all for making our trip to Paris special. We hope to return to visit Paris again soon.
Very helpful staff, good location. Don't confuse this hotel with the other best western hotel trocadero nearby, like I did. Comfortable room, and surprisingly quiet at night. Plenty shops and restaurants nearby.
Helpful staff, nice and spacious rooms, great location. We traveled as a family of 4 and slept comfortably in the room. We enjoyed walking distance to many great sights and easy access to the metro. Lobby was very nice and historic. It really added something to our visit.
We are longtime Best Western Platinum members and stay in BW hotels as much as we can. This was our 5th trip to Paris in the last 10 years; this time to celebrate a birthday of a close family member. We chose this hotel first because it was close to our family's home and located in a "non-touristy" area and had an authentic feel of a "local" feel. We loved the Passy neighborhood which is a 10 minute walk to Eiffel Tower on the north side. To give you an idea, we have stayed in at 5 star and 4 star properties in our last 4 trips. This is CERTAINLY not a 4 star hotel. The French rating system was having an OFF day when they rated this hotel. We had requested long in advance for an early check in (understanding that it was upon availability). No such luck. The reception person informed us that we had to wait about 4 hours to check in, so we went to have lunch and explore the neighborhood. When we checked in, we found our room (a Classic room) to be the absolute SMALLEST room that we have ever stayed in over 50+ hotel rooms in Europe in the last 10 years! I replied to a "Check-in" survey email upon our first night about our experience. I mentioned the room size and the reply from the front desk was that" even though the BW reservation and the French rating system allows for such a small room ( CLASSIC Room) for double occupancy the hotel does NOT recommend it! BW SHOULD NOT offer this room for double occupancy. PERIOD! It left a bad taste in our stay. Couple of small notes: the elevator barely fits one person with a normal suitcase otherwise get ready to take the spiral stairs (up to 7 floors) .The tiles on the shower had mold and mildew stains on the The front desk personnel hesitated to engage in any conversation as much we tried to have one. I would not recommend this hotel.
Hotel in general is very clean and neat. My stay was grat, the team was very surportive and attentive. The room is a bit small, but quite cozy. I had to addtionally ask for conditioner, nody lotion at the reception. It would be nice to have them in the room. Specially thank you for the mager who is very helpful! I would recomment it to my friends.
I arrived at this hotel by recommendation of a good Parisian friend. Located off of a busy, centric street (Rue de Passy), but at walking distance from Place du Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower, it's a small hotel that does everything right. It's super safe and clean. The room was as small as you'd expect for a Parisian hotel of this kind, but super comfortable and everything worked perfectly. The staff was specially nice and helpful, going well beyond the call of duty to assist us in everything we needed. Will return for certain. Will return for sure.
Great little hotel. Excellent facilities, great location, very clean, good breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. Couldn't ask for anything more. Would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return. Many thanks.
I stayed at the hotel on the seventh floor, my room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. At the reception they always helped if I had questions, thanks to Ekaterina for her care during breakfast and for the omelette specially prepared for me. Very valuable. Excellent staff, I will definitely return to this hotel.
It was a great stay at the hotel. Very nice and clean room, we had super bed .I would like a bit bigger balcony but it's ok . The staff is lovely, some of the girls don't speak French, but their attitude and care was felt in every move and look. Thanks for this . Thanks to the manager for his concern, he was always interested in our well-being and helped if we had a were questions. Great attitude. Staff are very important, this hotel have a very nice staff , great job , we felt like we are home. I will recommend this hotel to my friends .
The Hotel is very convinient as it is close to OECD and Trocadero as well, with good public transport to the heart of Paris. The location is quiet, no noise at all. The staff is polite and helpful. The breakfast is tasty and abundant. The only inconvinience is the small elevator.
Nice hotel on a quiet street of Paris but well located in Passy. Rooms were comfortable and good sized for a Triple Rome in Paris. Very comfortable beds The location couldn't be any better and quiet, very close to shopping and restaurants We will stay in this hotel when we return to Paris. Only the breakfast needs improvement, but La Favorite is a great place for breakfast just a couple os blocks away Definitively recommend the hotel, extremely well located in a quiet and peaceful area of Paris, with a great location to visit tourist sites
I have stayed at Trocadero LaTour since the early 80's whenever I return to Paris, usually every 2 years. I love the Passy neighborhood, the hotel has the flavor of turn of the century Paris in a fine old building with comfortable classic rooms and BIG bathrooms. The price is very reasonable for a fine hotel with an excellent, helpful staff.
Loved the village quality of the neighbourhood within the city This hotel is very nicely located. Very nice staff, supportive and generous Good memory of the stay, rooms are exquisitely decorated Will recommend for sure only to best friends :)
This is a very nice hotel: rooms are lovely, superior rooms have 2 single beds and bathrobes, it is very close to Trocadero, Passy, La Muette in a vibrant area but on a silent street. Receptionists are service-minded and nice, but to mention what did not work this regarded communication and information between the different teams. Bathrobes are important - we bring them from home if not provided. I noticed that there were none in our room. They would bring them. After asking THREE more times we got the info that there were none left. Bad planning, bad communication. The second thing was that we arrived at 12, no rooms ready. Check-in was supposed to be at 2, so ok. Went for lunch, coming back at 2, room still not ready. Took another 30 mins. This is also bad planning: if a guest has arrived early, at least make sure the room is ready at the established time. This has happened twice in this hotell, so maybe there is an issue that could be improved? We are willing to give them a new try, already booked. Fingers crossed: bathrobes in the room, room available at 2! Still: very nice hotel, rooms, location and friendly staff!
We have enjoied our stay at this cosy and very well presented hotel. Impressed by the friendliness of staff and how clean and tidy the room was. Its a short walk away from the iconic tower with nice little caffe's and restaurants. Staff even helped us park in a secure location. Well pleased with everything. Great job guys!!!
We had a lovely room at the front of the hotel with a small balcony. Very clean and comfortable. We have been staying at this hotel for many years and it is always just as good. Great location near the Trocadero with very convenient Metro stations. We love it and will stay there next time we are in Paris.
A girlfriend, and I with our daughters in tow visited 5 countries in 17 days. We toured through Europe with our last stop being Paris. The hotel was nice, comfortable, clean and the front desk staff was friendly overall. Then comes the elevator, or 'lift'. The first day we get there, we are tired from travelling. the elevator is very small, so my 15 year old daughter goes up with a bag to our room on the 3rd floor. She comes back down, and the elevator door will not open. She is panicking, as it is very hot and small. The front staff tell us the maintenance guy is close, and he will get her out shortly. 20 min later, he comes, and its fixed. We called her to calm her down. The front desk staff tell us we have to wait for a click or the door gets stuck. We ask why they didn't tell us this sooner? We avoid the elevator for the rest of our stay. The day comes when we are to leave. We go for breakfast and bring two suitcases down to make bringing luggage down easier. Our transfer to the airport is waiting outside. We have heavy bags, and the spiral staircase would have been hard to manage with our luggage. We go up in the lift to get the last of our bags. The elevator gets stuck between floors 2 and 3 for over an hour. No one even noticed the alarm for at least 10 minutes. A front desk woman comes on the intercom and says the maintenance guy is 30 minutes away. by the time he gets there, we are in there for over an hour. Sweating, crying, phoning Air Canada... Maintenance guy arrives, and the door is pulled open, still between floors. We were pulled out between floors by our wrists and told that cabs had been called to get us not the airport as we had sent our transfer away. At this point, we were 90 min behind schedule. We begged the airport staff to let us through the line so we could make our plane. We were never offered an apology, a free night, anything. In fact, we felt like they blamed us for taking 'too many bags' when it was just two people in the elevator when it got stuck. Terrible end to my amazing trip, and a black mark on Best Western as a whole in my opinion.
We stayed here for 3 days from July 18th thru 21st. Hotel location was great - walking distance to Effiel Tower and also to many local eateries. The room size was small, but clean.- we were a company of 3 and space was a bit of a premium. The Room had AC which not all hotels in Paris have which was great as we visited during a heatwave where the temperatures reached above 100F. Overall a good experience. Watch out for the petite elevator that will require multiple trips to get your baggage to your room.
We enjoyed our stay at the BW Premier Trocadero La Tour as it was close to two major metro stops (Passy and La Muette) which allowed us to get to most sites easily. The hotel itself was situate don a quick street but close to nice restaurants and shopping. The room was very clean and the WiFi worked well. We did not eat the breakfast each morning as we wanted to experience all the cafes and patiserries had to offer. The staff was very nice and helped us find a gym nearby to work out in. We would definitely stay here again!
We stayed here for 8 nights in July. The hotel was quiet, and oh so quaint tucked in just off of Rue de Passy. We were just a short walk to the metro, Boulangerie & shopping. The staff was always helpful in assisting with travel questions and anything we needed. I would recommend this place to anyone! The bed was comfy, the room was clean & we felt very safe. I wish we were still there!!
There were 6 in my party and our family dog and we all loved the hotel. Close to the sights, comfortable, attractively decorated, dog friendly, managed to park directly outside the hotel. Top tip : roadside metered parking is free from Sat 8pm and all day Sunday!
The staff, location and amenities were just what we wanted and needed during our visit. Efficient check in. The elevator is small, faster to use the stairs. You can easily walk to wonderful restaurants, shopping, the Seine, Eiffel Tower, gardens and parks. Our room was quiet and provided the ambience of a Parisienne visit. Our bathroom was well equipped with towels and fine toiletries. Our bed was very comfortable. We will stay at this property again and we will encourage others to as well.
The location of this hotel is perfect for walking to other areas of Paris. It is close to two metro stops. The neighborhood is residential but offers excellent shopping and dining. The hotel was very clean, beds were so comfortable and the staff was very helpful.
We loved our stay at the Best Western Trocadero La Tour (do note there are two BW properties close to the Eiffel Tower - make sure to confirm your address!). We stayed in a Family Room with my wife and I and our two daughters and the room was plenty big for the 4 of us. Note that you're getting European size rooms which get even smaller in somewhere as pricey as Paris but we were able to fit comfortably for our 4 night stay. This room had the queen(?) bed along with two rollaways for our girls that they said were very comfortable. We were on the 6th floor and fortunately there was an elevator (it's tiny - 3 people or 1 with all the bags was a squeeze) but our girls loved using the spiral staircase. The bathroom was bigger than expected with two sinks and mirrors and a shower tub. The tub only had glass covering the first half so use caution when showering as it's easy to soak the floor if you aren't paying attention to where water is spraying! The location is awesome - off a side street from the very cool Rue de Passy (we loved the Passy district!) so nice and quiet at night. Passy has tons of shopping and restaurants all within an easy walk from the hotel as well as two metro options (one with the RER) also close by. The Eiffel Tower is also a short walk down Rue de Passy which was a really nice surprise. All of the staff we met were fantastic and had great recommendations for restaurants or any other questions we had. We did not get the breakfast so can't comment on that. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Paris!
Great Hotel. Great lobby. Great neighborhood. Staff very helpful. In walking distance to Eiffel Tower, Easy access to trains and subway. Airlines lost our luggage and desk provided assistance in getting it back.
This hotel has lots of character. It suited our needs as it is not far from the metro and it was an easy walk to Trocadero gardens and the Eiffel tower. We booked a superior room which although not huge was more than adequate and comfortable. Due to the age of the building there is only a small lift. A bit of a squeeze for 2 people with luggage. The public rooms are very small but are different to the usual corporate chains. Reception, lounge, TV room and bar are all in the same shared space. The hotel does not have a restaurant. There was some pre packed food in a fridge but it did not appear particularly appetizing. There are a couple of bar/restaurants that we found within easy walking distance and a McDonalds. The hotel does serve breakfast in an area off the lounge/bar. It was more than adequate for our needs. Cereal, fruit, cold meat, cheese, breads, pastries, juice and coffee. There was also some hot food - sausages, bacon and scrambled egg which we did not try. As breakfast is from 7 - 11 keeping good fresh may present problems.
Hotel location is great, it is walking distance from Trocadero and the Eiffel tower (10-15 minutes), and close to metro stations Passy and La Muette. The staff is very nice. They even provide you with a before-arrival survey where you can indicate any need you may have. The hotel is in an old building but has a small elevator. The rooms are very clean and in a quiet street. The size of a family room was good although the single room size was a bit small. The only thing to improve is the breakfast because the variety is not huge.
The hotel is in a lovely old building, in a great location, near the Eiffel Tower, which was important for our granddaughters. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, taking care of the problems caused by booking online. They wrote emails, they called us, we worked it out. The rooms are quite small and the elevator is tiny. The gorgeous staircase is listed and cannot be replaced to make room for a larger lift. The breakfast buffet was perfectly correct. And there is an espresso machine. All one could require to start the day.
A lovely classic style hotel in a very quiet place. I did enjoy it! You can spend time in a lobby downstairs. The breakfast room is very nice. Location is just perfect - you have Passy and La Muette metro station close to the hotel. 10 minutes by walk to see the Tour Eiffel.
Very average hotel in the heart of Paris! Staff are not welcome non French speaking people. Staff never very helpful. Breakfast was a joke! Never again. Very small room, charged for superior room. No shampoo and conditioner.
We had a great stop over in Paris with Thierry and his team. Lovely hotel in a great location ideal for exploring central Paris. The room we stayed in was clean with good size bathroom. I would recommend this hotel for families
Great location, comfort and very gracious staff! Each time I stop by in Paris, I stay there, it became my pied a terre! The breakfast room and breakfast itself are very nice. The concierge will always be able to answer question and help to make your stay the best! Very familiar and practical. It is the perfect hotel for business, tourists, family! The place to stay!
We were both happy with this hotel yet slightly let down at the same time. The hotel is in a prime position to bars, restaurants, the Metro and the Eiffel Tower and room was a decent size and clean the hotel however was very noisy - you could hear people walking around in the room above you and slamming doors. Before we arrived, we were sent a survey about our stay so they could tailor our visit and recommend appropriate attractions and restaurants however we didn't receive anything back at all so it was a waste of time. When we asked for recommendations when we were there, they recommended very little as the receptionist didn't know the local area!?!?!?!? We received creamer pots for coffee in the room (2 per day) however when you'd used these, the hotel wouldn't give you anymore. We asked multiple times at the reception desk to be told no every time. Very bizzare behaviour.
Hotel is very close to Trocadero and E Tower, nice area and we waked all the way to museums too ( L'orangerie, D'Orsay and Louvre). For us this was close enough a distance, nice stroll along the river and beautiful parks and sights in Paris. On a quiet road, close to shops and metro. The room was nice, charming, good comfortable beds, nice balcony. Breakfast more than plenty of choice. We could hear the shouty kid next door quite clearly, but that is because he was very loud. For instance we couldnt hear the parents. The bathroom though was a bit of a surprise. Whilst nicely decorated, it wasnt cleaned properly. Corners were missed by the cleaner, hair on floor as well as bathtub and the grout in between the bathroom tiles as well as the shower panel indicate that they aren't cleaned regularly. Massive let down. The hotel stairs were another unpleasant surprise. A lot of accumulated dust, something you'd see on metro stairs. I thought that maybe there is a lot of traffic on the stairs but next morning by 11.30 when we checked out, stairs were in same condition. So clearly not cleaned daily. Staff at reception, nice. Not exceedingly, somewhat absent, but that's not an issue for us. Other customers though may like more of a welcoming presence. Over all, we had an ok stay. Would I stay there again? No. For a 4 * hotel they need to do way better.
A very quiet hotel with spacious rooms close to the subway, shops and restaurants. We had rooms with balcony which is a big plus in the middle of Paris Linen and towels are changed daily The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in recommending where to dine or what places to visit are close by The only inconvenience is the very small elevator that does not fit more than 2 people
We came to Paris for a mini break and the hotel was wonderful! The hotel itself is beautiful and ideally located near two metro stops and a short walk from the Eiffel tower. The staff were friendly, the facilities were great and the breakfast very nice. Would happily stay here again!
We stayed 16 nights at the hotel, and we were very pleased. first with all the employees, second with the cleaning of our room and all the hotel. It is located in a quite street off Passy rue, which we found to be a great location on the 16and. We will definitely will recomend the hotel to all our friends.
This is a hotel with some potential, so it is with sadness that I write an essentially negative review. Pros: - A charming ambience, and (for a 4-star hotel in the 16th arrondissement with a great location) very well priced. Cons: - Very small room even by Paris standards (just big enough for the bed, had to move furniture to open the window; elevator not always working; breakfast mediocre; some apparent staff chaos. I would have rated this hotel 3-stars not 2-stars except for the taxi we requested to the Gare Montparnasse. Instead of a taxi, they provided a supposed "hotel car" at a fixed rate of 35 Euros (a taxi would have been about half that probably). A small thing, but I felt ripped off, and indicative of what you might expect should you decide to stay here.
I arrived in Paris originally for a one-week stay, but after a slew of sensational days, and an unexpected desire to stay, I re-booked for a whole extra week! Everyone, especially the front desk worker Delphine, was magnificent when it came to anything I might need or help with planning days. If I wanted to venture out or need ideas of where to venture out, the staff was more than helpful and even had the genuine desire to help book a car. It was from top-to-bottom a magnificent time. Plus, the location—the location could not have been better! Coming from New York City, and having it be my first time in Paris, I LOVED how close we were to the Eifel Tower (it was spectacular to walk outside and see it shimmering from the hotel!), but far enough from the "true" tourism where I felt "unsafe" (if I ever were too!). (With that said, you should note that to see the Eiffel Tower in front of you is a bit of a hike, roughly 15 minutes. Not a bad walk, just a tad farther than expected, but that didn't bother me!) I could write a novel about how positive this experience was—or how fantastic the little croissant store was around the corner— but I shall save us all the trouble and say: Book, book, book! I am already eyeing my next trip back!
We booked this hotel as it was close to our daughters who we were visiting in Paris. We were happy on arrival and at our prompt check in. The room while small was just perfect with a large bathroom. We also had a balcony which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was included in our rate and very nice. Location was perfect for what we wanted with plenty of nearby restaurant's and it is very close to the Eiffel Tower area. Passy is a nice area with cafes and a metro. Hotel was overall very nice, clean, comfortable and the staff were polite and helpful. I would happily book and stay again.
We stayed a here for a family holiday for 3 nights it was a great hotel in a great location very close to the Eiffel Tower and some great shops, Metro and restaurants near by. Definitely would stay again
Room crowded with three people. Good shower! Very kind night watchman. Thank goodness for the elevator with our luggage. Lovely bakery just around the corner! Good parking garage at walking distance on main road.
I really loved the location, walkable to Effiel tower and Trocadero, little shops around and near the metro, front desk was sweet and helped with anything questions we had in regards to our travels. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!
The location is good. 10 minutes walk to subway, different stations available. plenty of stores, restaurants, bakeries, and very important, pharmacies with fast Covid test for traveling. the hotel is located in a quiet street. The staff was friendly. The room was good size and clean, with a nice balcony. the only was the walls are thin, so you can hear people in other rooms and very loud when they close their door, very annoying in the morning if you are trying to sleep.
The hotel is in good location, very close to Eiffel tower. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they helped us even before the trip to arrange transportation. Room is clean and good. I am so impressed with the hotel and staff here and definitely will stay again this hotel when visiting Paris again.
We stayed for the weekend.. all females from one family, celebrating a 21st Birthday.. this little gem was a stones throw from the Eiffel Tower in a lovely area with local shops bars and restaurants ! We were made to feel so welcome special mention for the lovely lady who ran the kitchen.. we had fresh coffee and pastries on arrival waiting for our early check-in. Rooms were clean and spacious with a lovely addition of small Juliet balconies. A special mention for “Fedel” the night manager .. nothing was too much trouble ! And made our stay extra special .. the hotel also managed to arrange a meal reservation at a local restaurant as we decided at last minute we wanted to stay local on the Friday evening. We would definitely return and recommend to our family and friends.
We stayed three nights two adults + two young kids Well located and human sized. Big room (for an hotel in Paris). Well furnished. Room and bathroom were super clean. Nice breakfast. We warmly recommend. Kids friendly
Wonderful hotel in Paris. On a quiet street, but close to shops and metro station. Rooms had everything that was needed. Staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was also very good. Would stay there again.
Two nights stay for medical visit to a clinic nearby. Small clean hotel with small elevator, spacious room (for European standards), spacious bathroom with tub, and good linens. The room was equipped with USB chargers, desk, big screen TV, small fridge, kettle, instant coffee, tea, temperature control, and double pane windows. There are many shops and eateries in the neighborhood at walking distance. The check-in and check-out were fast with efficient, bilingual, and friendly staff. It is walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. The cons are, that the breakfast is expensive 19.00 euros per person. In addition, the “self-parking” is not in the premises. It is an 8-10 minutes' walk (with suitcases, is not practical), and the cost is 35.00 euros per day. The hotel description should state this. We suggest making a deal for their guests with the parking management for a reduced rate. The wood paneling ads charm to the Lobby but the area is too dark. We suggest better lighting. We could not connect to the hotel's Wi-Fi. We recommend this hotel and would stay here again when visiting the clinic.
It's in a nice neighborhood but it's not central It's near to many major attractions but not all are ‘walking' near But the hotel itself is cute Elevator is tiny The room was clean Overall a comfortable stay
We loved our stay at Best Western Trocadéro. The staff were all very friendly. The room was a bit small for 3 adults but we didn't spend much time in the room so it was fine for us. The bathroom was beautiful and well equipped. The best thing about this hotel is the location. A teeny bit off the beaten path made for a quiet place to sleep but close enough to attractions and transportation for convenient sight seeing. And the neighborhood was a great place to shop, eat and browse! The only suggestion I would make is to offer free coffee. The instant coffee in the room didn't cut through the morning fog for us and the breakfast, although good was pricey and we preferred to check out neighborhood dinning options.
The hotel is close to the Eiffel tower and the bus to and from the airport. Nice shops are around. So, room and location were ok, desk person also ok but cleaning not adequate with respect to price. Found hair in the tub. Yet the atmosphere was quite cozy and breakfast very satisfactory.
The rooms are very small and really need renovation. The phone in the room was broken so it was difficult to get service. Not a business hotel as there is limited room service and the breakfast is really bad, not much on the menu, no good coffee machine. Most of the staff was helpful but some were really not. Difficult to get a food delivery or any delivery to the room. Which is very frustrating when there is no good room service options. Good location, close to OECD office, but I will not go back.
The place was excellent minus one male employee(Fadhel) who is of no help. Doesn't know anything about the neighborhood- gave incorrect information- sent us the wrong way- LOSER! we asked for an extra blanket and he basically gave a sheet....dead space - . just an aggravating example of the type of employee you don't want! Especially after a long day enjoying this beautiful city!
We had an amazing time in Paris staying at this hotel. The receptionist Laura was very kind and helpful. Very near to the tour and the center of the city. We would definitely repeat on our next trip to Paris.
If you want to stay at a charming place with a delicious breakfast, look no further! My family and I felt welcome and at home. Everyone at this hotel is friendly and kind. There was a very cozy sitting room with comfy couches to relax on also. We had a lovely stay here! Thank you!!
Came for an overnight to join friends, on January 3rd, this place is very quiet, and we were very impressed by the quality of the lady in reception, professional, polite, helpful, everything I thought Paris had abandoned years ago! Room was lovely, especially the bed linen. Good location too. Will return when we can.
Excellent and friendly service. Thank you! Basic shops and restaurants near the hotel. Quiet place. OECD buildings near just 10 minutes walk. To Eiffel 15 minutes walk. Breakfast was good and healthy. Wifi nothing to complain. Clean and fresh rooms.
We found the hotel to be well located. Rooms were very good and included a refrigerator. The breakfast was adequate and the service was good. The staff was friendly. Only problem is the shower is slippery with no hand rail or safety mat in the tub. Very difficult to get in and out of the shower. An easy correction to make.
I visited this hotel on business in Oct 2019 and was very pleased with the size of the room, its comfort and cleanliness. It is well situated and close to the OECD complex. The bed was very comfy and the room spacious by Parisien standards. The hotel has the smallest lift I have ever been in, with two people (at most) fitting. It has a breakfast service (which I didn't use) which is €20 but no lunch or dinner service. There are plenty of good options for both locally at reasonable prices! Service was friendly. I would visit again and recommend.
I was expecting a double bed and rather small room as that seems the norm for Europe. But to my delight, we were given a very spacious room with a king size bed. The room was very clean and room service kept it that way for our entire eight day stay. The wardrobe was large enough for both me and my wife's clothes with room to stow our suitcases. The air/heat worked very good. It was fun having a balcony. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel so can not speak to that. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to a Metro station and other desirable destinations yet is on a quiet street close to good shopping. I would definitely stay here again
Great customer service, nice clean rooms, room service available, has a bar, it is also located near Eiffel tower, Trocadero, etc, I highly recommend this hotel and if I visit Paris again, I would stay there for sure.
The location is what really distinguishes this hotel from others. It's a reasonable walk away from the Eiffel Tower, with clean and comfortable lodging. Definitely coming back here for our next visit!
Beautiful, clean hotel within walking distance to many Paris sites including the Eiffel Tower. Also walking distance to a Hop On & Off Bus stop. Found a wonderful bakery just around the corner. Delicious cafe close by as well (Aéro). Room was cozy with a cute Juliet balcony. Staff were all friendly and helpful. As with most European hotels, the elevator and halls were tiny...just expect that everywhere.
We picked the hotel because of its location. It is walking distance (or one subway stop) from Place du Trocadero, the best place from which to view the Eiffel tower. The hotel itself is quite comfortable, clean and elegant. Buffet breakfast is very good (except perhaps for the undercooked bacon - by American standards anyway). The ability to cook your own soft boiled egg was great. I'll be going back!
I enjoyed my stay at this quaint hotel. Room is a great size! Comfortable beds and air conditioning was a plus. Desk staff is very kind and helpful. I recommend this hotel especially if your new to Paris France. If your not fluent in French, they speak English and this made it much easier for us. Lots of great shopping and a few kids shops just down the road. It's in walking distance of Eiffel tower and other monuments. I would recommend hotel 100%
Overall, excellent 4-star hotel (I would reserve the 5 star in this city for the highest level amenity/elaborate hotels). Meaning this property is excellent for it's level. Rooms - comfortably sized very clean rooms, nice amenities, spacious bathroom in the larger family room. Air conditioning worked well. No concerns. It's a historic building, so there's a very small, fully adequate, elevator, so bring a scant amount of patience if you are unwilling to climb the spiral staircase. It is not busy, so the wait is never too long. Staff - friendly desk service, helpful with plans, housekeeping did well and kept the room well appointed with the amenities during the stay. Location - for us it was very good - we loved being so close to the Eiffel tower by a nice comfortable walk. The nearby access to small stores, lots of small eateries and a grocery store was excellent. Felt safe all the time even out late at night. Easily accessible to metros. I would stay here again as we really enjoyed the neighborhood.
As the name implies, this hotel is located just across the Seine from the Eifel Tower within 15 minutes walking distance and 10 minutes to the Trocadero metro station. The hotel staff was very helpful and agreeable, the continental breakfast was very nice and our room was pleasant enough while not extravagant.
Great neighborhood, great air conditioner staff was helpful. Wish king size bed had king size mattress. Bring your own washcloth. Would recommend without hesitation. Price very competitive with other hotels and central location,
The staff were friendly and quickly responded to all my needs. They provide breakfast, consisting of meat, fruit, cereal and pastries. Restaurants and other shopping are in close range. The hotel is within walking distance of the Eiffiel Tower.
Friendly helpful staff Room big enough for 4 and very clean Double sink in bathroom which was great with 4 of us in room Short walk to metro and walking distance to Eiffel Tower Air conditioning worked great - we were there during a heat wave Breakfast not included and a bit pricey but plenty of places to walk to for breakfast Lots of shopping near by
My wife and I stayed here for 8 days on our honeymoon and I'm so happy we did! Here are just a few things we loved the most: First, the location was PERFECT for what we were looking for. The hotel is tucked away on a quiet little side street from the Rue de Passy, so you don't get any kind of loud traffic noise. But once you're outside and you walk the 100 feet to the Passy, you have everything your heart desires: patisseries, shops, restaurants, a relatively close metro stop. If you turn left and start walking, you'll be in front of the Eiffel Tower in 10 minutes. It was fantastic! Second, this was one of the cleanest hotels - not just European hotels - that I've ever stayed in. My wife is a total clean freak and she was very impressed. There was no cigarette smell and great air conditioning, which were both HUGE pluses for us. The bathroom was small by American standards but it was well arranged, clean, and did the job. I've read several people's reviews that complain about the small elevator. I'm just thankful the hotel has an elevator as we stayed on the 7th floor. Being able to send our luggage up with my wife was a lifesaver. Last but not least, the staff were great to work with and very friendly. Our safe ran out of battery and the manager came up and was super helpful and friendly. When we asked the front desk for any recommendations for dinner or directions to attractions, they were more than accommodating. I cannot recommend this hotel enough - seriously, unless you want to hear car horns and traffic all night, I don't think you could get a better hotel closer to any major Paris attraction.
Great helpful staff with very comfortable rooms, beds, and large bathrooms. Breakfast was great and reasonable. Easy walking distance to main attractions (Eiffel tower) and lots of local great cafes for meals.
Would give 6 stars if I could. The hotel exceeded our expectations with their friendliness and help in getting around Paris. Fadhel went over and above in making us feel at home. The room was small but standard in Paris. Location is excellent. Short walk to Eiffel Tower, supermarket and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Paris. ******
We had a family of five stay in two rooms for 3 nights. The rooms are small, to US standards, but they used the space efficiently. We did not feel confined and we enjoyed our stay there. The location is in a great spot and walkable to many tourist locations. I would also suggest to try the morning breakfast, at least the coffee and a croissant! The staff could not be more helpful and spoke English to help us through our broken French. Haha. It was a nice experience and would go back again. Vive France!
Lovely place near Paris best places. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Quiet, safe, but near to the action. Staff was incredibly friendly. We Love it. June is the best during summer time as weather is between 70 to 80.
Excellent location, service was impeccable as we're the rooms. Great restaurants nearby, walking distance to many iconic locations. The neighborhood is safe for a family to walk in the evening and not overcrowded. Hotel staff and management saw to our every need/question without pause.
This is a perfect hotel in a beautiful residential area. At the same time, it is close to the Metro, restaurants, stores, and the Eiffel Tower. We had a family room, which was very spacious. The room had a king size bed and two twins for the kids. The bathroom had two sinks! The staff are lovely and very helpful. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel because there were so many wonderful boulangeries and patisseries nearby. We could not have asked for a better place to stay during our visit to this amazing city!
We had an amazing stay from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. My sister, niece, and I do a trip each year and this year was the first out of the country for my sister and niece. The hotel did their best to meet every single wish we had to make sure our stay was special. There were many questions and lots of tweaks to our plans and the management of this hotel showed such incredible patience with us it was amazing! The also helped to make sure we got a room with a balcony. We had champagne on our first night in the area downstairs and each morning a beautiful breakfast. Vincent at the front desk was fantastic and made sure we knew how to get to the best places and he was there to greet us each night. We loved staying here and will be back again. The hotel had an excellent location, was incredibly clean, in a beautiful building, on a quiet street, and within walking distance of the Eiffel tower. You will not go wrong staying here! Thanks again everyone! You are amazing! The Willoughby's and Hutchinson's wholeheartedly endorse this hotel!
This was my very first trip to Paris with my daughter and sister. After doing much research, we decided to book this hotel which was located very close to the Eiffel Tower. Being unfamiliar with the territory we were absolutely elated with our room, cleanliness and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff was INCREDIBLE. Vincent who worked the evening shift was so friendly and informative but not negating everyone else who worked there whos names I cannot remember. If I ever go back I will definitely stay here again. They definitely made my first trip to Paris unforgettable.
We chose this hotel for its location, being within easy walking distance of the Eiffel Tower. The route to the tower was lined with lovely shops and a path by the river also. From this hotel you can walk to the Arc de Triomphe which we enjoyed, buying dinner on the way in one of the restaurants. Our room had a balcony, spacious bathroom and minibar. It was clean, there were lovely robes and I slept very well in the bed. We received a complementary half bottle of champagne for our celebration which was very generous and well received. The hotel was private and quiet and we enjoyed the French style of the hotel, lovely frontage and decoration. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was a nice buffet style arrangement. My husband was thrilled to have bacon as there was none on the Eurostar the previous morning! I was pleased to see so many pain au chocolat. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. It is situated in a quiet street, just off Rue de Passy. The rooms are of varying sizes, but I have never had an uncomfortable one. The beds are very comfortable, with crisp linen. The curtesy tray was very welcoming, especially as I arrived at 23:30. Rooms have a stocked fridge. Reception and management are always welcoming. It is close to two metros, Passy and La Muette, very close to Passy Plaza. There are lovely restaurants in the area, and within walking distance.
I have stayed at this hotel a few times over the years and recommended it to dozens of friends since my first stay in 2009. Its a quaint hotel in a great location. Only 10 minutes walk from the Trocadero for fantastic eiffel tower views but only seconds from lots of shops, restaurants and patisseries. On this occasion my husband and I were travelling with our 2 small children. We had a good sized room (particularly for Paris) with a camp bed and sofa made up for the kids. The bathroom was big with a nice bath for the kids and the rooms are lovely. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend a stay at Best Western Premier Trocadero La Tour!
I arrived at 6 am after flying all night. I was immediately greeted by a kind man who made sure I was comfortable while I waited for him to finish with the person checking out. It didn't stop there. Each person went out of their way to get me into my room early(which I didn't request in advance). They went above and beyond my expectations!! I walked a little over a mile to the Eiffel Tower and Seine river. Taxi service in this area is abundant. Local shopping, cafes, attractions and activities are all nearby. Excellent place that I would stay at again.
My family stayed at this hotel for 4 days, feeling at home and being easy to access to major interesting places including restaurants and transportation. Will be a good choice to stay in the future when we visit to Paris.
The Passy area is delightful. The Monoprix was across the street and there were two patisseries close by. The metro was about a 10 minute walk as well. Staff was delightful, they would talk to us daily about what we did that day. The beds were comfortable and clean. The only issue I have (and this is not a negative mark on this hotel) is that my experience in Europe (or any hotel) is the hairdryer provided are not kind to your hair. I recommend a converter and bring your own. This hotel added to my Paris experience. The trip to France was a last minute decision and I could not be more pleased with the holiday. I stayed here with my two 14 year old sons. Highly recommend this hotel.
Small hotel on a quiet street. Old building that still has its charm. Very nice views from open air windows. Hotel amenities were a little less than what I expect from a 4 star hotel, but nevertheless was a great stay. If you are getting off the metro or a train, with any amount of luggage a cab/uber will be needed as it is far from a metro stop or train station. I love that the windows open in most hotels in Europe as that is a rarity in the USA. Hotel is a short 10 minute walk to the Eiffell tower and just 5 minutes or less to shopping and food. All other hot spots like the Lourve, the arc, are not walkable but Ubers are very responsive and quick to pick up. Staff was friendly, helpful and bilingual.Breakfast was good, but a hair overpriced. All in all I would recommend this hotel and would likely stay here again.
I've always been a fan of the 16th arrondissement, and this very small hotel is perfectly situated on a quiet street where this is really no noise. My daughter and I shared a top floor room (six flights up!) with two single beds (pushed together) which were very comfortable. Although I normally rent apartments in Europe, I've stayed in enough hotels to know that this room was a really good size for Paris. The bathroom was large with a big tub. It was extremely clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We opted for the included breakfast, which was great value. There was a large assortment of breakfast foods and on many mornings we were the only clients in the pretty breakfast room (I expect business clients had already had breakfast and left). It seems like there is a steady flow of clients who are likely there on business. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Paris, especially if you want to get away from the masses of tourists at the end of the day. Staying here, you feel like a part of the neighbourhood. There are many good restaurants within walking distance, and they are also filled with locals. Most people speak some English, if you want them to. We were pleased to find that not once were we treated with rudeness or impatience by any server or shop owner. It was a splendid week, and we both agreed that sleeping in our quiet and peace room helped us to feel great every morning!
Hotel is walking distance from Eiffel Tower and short uber ride from Louvre Museum. Staff were friendly and accommodating to our requests. Hotel elevator is pretty small but fitting for the historic building. Overall great value!!
The rooms were very large compared to other European hotel rooms. The bath had a double sink and large tub/shower combo. Very clean! We had enough room for a cot for our daughter. Overall - great stay!
The location of this hotel is PERFECT! The neighborhood offers excellent restaurants and fun shopping, all in the Paris setting I'd hoped for. Within minutes walking to the Eiffel Tower, Seine river and Champs Elysees. Several Metro rail stations (Passy and Trocadero) close by in the neighborhood make it simple to go out on any Paris adventure. The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful and gave excellent suggestions for local restaurants and other attractions. The Trocadero LaTour was very affordable and comfortable and I highly recommend it for any traveler.
The staff (and that's all staff) make you feel welcome and go out of their way to ensure that your stay is a pleasant and enjoyable one Location is ideal as it is centrally located to most areas of interest in Paris.
The location is wonderful, near from the Eiffel Tower and Trocadero. Close to the Metro and Train Station. Very quite and cleaning. Small shopping center nearby and many restaurants, cafes and patisseries on Rue du Clichy.
Great location. Just a 10 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. Close to the Metro station. The staff was friendly and spoke English. Yes, the elevator is small. 3 people max and that's a tight fit. It's part of the character. Slight mixup on our room upon arrival but that was quickly corrected. We would definitely stay here again.
A great start to the France vacation. A location that is surely the best. Convenient to bakeries and restaurants cafes and shopping centres at the same time tucked away in a quite lane. 10 minute walking to the Eiffel. Apparently Passy street is a high end residential area and a very safe street to walk even late at night. The train station is close by. Regarding the hotel it seems a old property but they have maintained well and is cosy. Rooms do not have the features of a modern hotel but it makes up by the size. We had a family room and the bathroom was large size. Lift is small so be patient while guests are moving luggage. Staff is brilliant and each one of them deserve a special mention as they would ensure that we had a comfortable stay. The next time I return to paris this is where I want to stay again.
Your hotel was fantastic. The location, the people working there and the unbelievable service. It was just fantastic. My daughter and I can't wait to visit again. Breakfast everyday was lovely and some of the best coffee we have ever had.
We are just back from a wonderful trip to Paris. The hotel is simply beautiful. It is spotless. Our room was very big and there were 3 of us. We must mention the staff from Thierry down. They were all amazing from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. Our daughter is in a wheelchair and they cared for our every need at all times and more importantly in a very caring way. They are a credit to the hotel. We will certainly be back and would recommend the hotel in every way. Maria, Stephen and Gillian Colquhoun
The Best Western Premier Trocadero La Tour hotel is in a fabulous location and provides great service. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. The neighborhood is great--we walked to almost all of the Paris landmarks. The local restaurants are good. The morning breakfast service and evening bar are great amenities.
very nice hotel on a quiet parisian street, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful with everything we needed! recommendations for restaurants, travel etc... told us about an amazing local french restaurant 2min walk away at the end of the street where we had a lovely meal, eiffel tower only 10min walk away. we would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.
The room was well appointed, a classy bathroom. The staff is polite and friendly, the hotel is located close to the Eiffel Tower in a quiet neighborhood The main challenge is the small elevator that only fits 3-4 people and travels slowly. Breakfast seemed OK but we found it a bit expensive, we later realized it is in line with other hotels
Stayed 2 nights .Quiet room on 6th floor. Clean . A little small ,but I found this was no problem. Walking distance to Metro and Eiffel Tower. There are a number of museums in nearby Trocadero. Was given a map which helped the navigation.
Great Location near Eiffel Tower on a quite street. We got a room with a terrace providing a lovely view of the Eiffel. They provided us with an early check in and also all assistance required to move around in the city. Would thank all the friendly staff at the reception desk. Would like to mention the names of Vincent and Lola who were of great help.
This boutique hotel is located in a quiet but convenient location. Near two different metro line stations, shopping, groceries, bakeries, and restaurants. Short walking distance to Trocadero and Eiffel Tower. The room was decent size by European standards. The elevator is extremely small but a non-issue as there is not much traffic in the lobby and elevator. Thierry and his staff were very accommodating. Overall, a great value and experience.
Lovely, very clean hotel on a quiet street. Room had comfortable bed and quaint seating area (2 chairs and small table) near the balcony. Nice-sized bathroom for 2 people. Lobby was gorgeous with elegant decor and quiet bar area. Staff was friendly and accommodating. 10-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Cute shops right around the corner, along with a Monoprix for groceries. Very nice location if you want a quieter area. Would absolutely stay here again!
Great facility, great location..near the OECD conference centre. Near shopping malls and metro station. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Comfortable beds and WiFi access though there's need to improve on strength of WiFi.
Home away from home. The staff here are incredibly warm, friendly and really helpful. At this hotel you feel that it's not all about money. They go the extra mile without you even asking. The rooms are good too. The family rooms are huge.
The location was very good but the room was very small. After putting the 2 extra cots for our kids there wasn't space to even move. The charging stations in the room were also not enough. However the hotel was clean, the bathroom really nicely stocked & very clean. The elevator was super tiny & we as a family of four had to take turns going up or down. The staff however was very friendly & helpful.
We stayed two nights , due to attending to a special event. Nice quiet street and neighborhood . Walk to metro sation Passy and Trocadero . Area has cafe and shops with supermarket around the corner on Rue Passy. It seemed that The front desk women were more helpful and friendly than some of the men. Which seemed less helpful. The room was comfortable. The lift is very small .
We stayed at the Hôtel Trocadéro La Tour for four days in June, and were quite happy with our room. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Vincent, who had great suggestions and tips for restaurants and using the transit system. There's a charming little bakery around the corner which we visited every morning to grab a quick breakfast. We would definitely stay there again.
This hotel was the perfect spot for our family of 9 to enjoy Paris. I highly recommend it for a pleasant stay in Paris. It's close to everything and the staff is very helpful. We needed rooms to accommodate 3 families - and it was all arranged for us! One room was for a family of 4; another one for family of 3; and a double for family of 2. We asked that they be ready for an early check-in, as our plane arrived at 10 AM. They went out of their way to have them all available. Can't beat that!
The room was small, but a big bathroom partly made up for it. Excellent beds, quiet neighbourhood. Really good breakfast. Located in a nice area of Paris within walking distance from the OECD headquarters.
Very well situated hotel. Feels safe on a residential street but close to anything you'd like to do (shopping, eating, transportation, etc). May fun clothing stores nearby. Charming people work there. I was greeted and treated very nicely. Rooms are very nicely put together.
I had the pleasure to stay in the best Western Trocadero la Tour fantastic cosy Super location! The best of all the manager and its employees take such good care of the guest and the property! At the lobby you feel at home! Great linens air conditioning perfect! I loved it and will stay again without hesitation
Great location, staff is very helpful. Bathrooms need to be updated. All in all a wonderful stay. Would stay there again. Grocery store is nearby, shops are very close. Metro is about a 10minute walk from hotel. Charming, but would not call it a 4 star hotel.
We loved our stay at this hotel. It was a total of 4 adults in one room. Somehow they made it work for us. Each one had a comfortable place to sleep. It's in walking this to the Eiffel Tower and you have a couple of Metro Stations within 5-7 minutes. The personnel is very friendly. Our overall stay was awesome. I look forward to my next stay here.
The room was clean and although not large, very functional for 3 nights. The concierge was knowledgeable in directing us to a self-serve laundry about 2 blocks away. I used the towel warmer for drying a jacket that didn't quite dry so that was handy. Location is great with Schwartz's Deli around the corner, an American style restaurant with huge burgers and sandwiches. We strolled over to the Trocadero gardens during the day and at night to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle, starting around 10 p.m. We felt safe walking around in this neighborhood. Metro is very close also.
I have stayed at this hotel on my last three trips to Paris. The staff are fantastic - so friendly and helpful - and they give great recommendations for local places to eat! The location is also excellent. You have both the RER and the metro within walking distance and if you do like to walk, you can get to all the major site. It is a quieter neighourhood so everything closes relatively early but I love the neighbourhood feel. The only thing they can improve upon is that some of the rooms need an update but it seems they are working on it. I will stay there the next time I go to Paris as well!
I have been to Paris many times and this was a stay that stood out. The room I got was very clean. I got a room that was quite. The staff - wonderful. They were not just professional, friendly but really went out of their way to help me with directions/ other information. They suggested a taxi With flat rate to the airport which I should have taken. The taxi we took from OECD was not flat rate at all. Next time it is good to listen to their advice. The hotel is highly recommended. I would stay there anytime.
We were nicely surprised with our stay at this property in Paris. The location is great only a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower and yet in a nice area with shopping and restaurants that you could really enjoy. The staff at this hotel is great. The rooms was clean. The breakfast are is nice. Breakfast could use updating and you will have to deal with the small and slow elevator but there is nothing the hotel can do about the latter. Maybe the breakfast can be enhanced. Say hello to Vincent if you meet him. He is a great guy and was very helpful. Enjoy your stay.
Terrible experience. The hotel staff was very professional and friendly The location was perfect to close to the Eiffel Tower just few blocks But the security of room is very weak Some body enter into our room and stole from our wallet Our experience when we request explanations was so weird. Our gratitude for the front desk staff specially to Vincent This guy is great
We spent three nights at the hotel. We had a nice room, quiet and clean, with all the necessary things. The receptionists were courteous and tended to our needs. Thank you! We didn't have breakfast there, we chose a little café nearby instead. ??
Excellent location in one of the best Paris arrondissements - XVI - in a calm street, not far from different metro lines stations, close to Trocadero. Good breakfast with a choice to take full buffet or a simple "coffee-croissant" formula. Very reasonable price / quality ratio. No special drawbacks but one to be mentioned is a very low soundproofing in the rooms.
Wonderful place. Staff was amazing, especially the young lady who served breakfast every morning. Rooms were very clean. Hotel is in perfect location, we walked to Eiffel tower several times. Definitely recommend.
Good location in the 16th arrodisement and great value for the price. The staff is most attentive as well and cleanliness is right. Some of the most comfortable beds around and quite good size room. On short walks around the hotel, just a few hundred yards, you get magnificent views of the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. If you like to walk you can get to the tower easily. Ben Franklin's residence in Paris and Balzac's house are also just a short few hundred yards from the hotel.
Fantastic experience! We stayed few nights as we celebrated our daughter's 21st birthday in Paris. We had so much support and help from the staff that we can't thanks them enough! The rooms are big, the beds are comfortable. Very pleasant staying! We are definitely coming back soon.
If you're looking to be close to the Eiffel tower and not pay a fortune this is the hotel to choose. It was simple and very clean. We had a small room that faced the street. It had french windows you could open and if we looked to the right we could see the tower. Lots of great cafes very close. Would definitely recommend for a short visit in Paris.
Great location for work-related events. Lovely staff + accommodations (good sized room, comfortable bed, clean). It's located just off a main street so it's not too noisy at night (and my room was facing the street).
Outstanding staff, friendly and helpful in every way. Exceptional, very many thanks indeed for making it easy to look after my friend after her operation. Your kindness and helpfulness is very much appreciated. Thank you to you all. Rooms: some very small even if bathroom generous (44) TV unwatchable from bed and nowhere else to sit to watch it had I wanted to as bed fills room. Very cramped. However, comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom, good towels, and wonderfully quiet. Perfect for one but would be hopeless for a couple. Other rooms (43) very comfortable and generous for Paris. Good breakfast and charming breakfast room and bar. Again, friendly and helpful staff. A great location, Super staff. overall a good hotel.
Have been a customer for five years. Good sevice, quite satisfied. Prior to my last stay, dates should have been changed (arrival and departure one day ahead, our secretary changed only arrival date). Didn't check, my fault. No flexibility at the date of departure - paid extra night not spend in full (250 Euro). Well, was my last stay there, fidelity goes one way.
We have stayed in this hotel several times, and each time we had a pleasant stay. The staff is very friendly! When we left at 6AM on January 2nd the night-receptionist went out of his way to get our daughter some viennoiseries for breakfast. The rooms are nice, even though Parisian in size, but well appointed. The location is excellent with many nice places for dinner around the corner like the lovely Bistro des Vignes in de Rue de l'Annunciation. We will definitely choose this hotel again when we are in Paris.
We have stayed at this hotel many times, and we always go back. It is small and has an intimate, family feeling to it. They are responsive to your needs and always remember your face, very unlike large, impersonal hotels.
I have had countless stays in this hotel. Hotel is a small, cozy place in a beautiful classic Parisian building in the heart of the XVI arrondissement. The rooms are decorated nicely respecting the history, but everything works well. The larger rooms serve well for a family of four. Breakfast is good. The staff is very kind and helpful. For OECD meetings it is a perfect location given the walking distance to the meeting premises. Metro line 9 is close by to connect to other parts of the city. The quiet surroundings are the best of Paris. For dining, there are numerous places to go nearby, or you may choose to walk to Trocadero. I intend to use this hotel for all of my visits to Paris.
I stayed at this hotel for a week and it was perfect for visiting Paris while feeling like a chic resident of the 16eme arrondissement. This Best Western Premier is near Trocadero, several metro stations namely Passy and La Muette. It's literally a one minute walk from rue Passy where you'll find all the stores you could want for a good shopping spree and the hotel is also a short walk from the Passy market, several good restaurants and bakeries. I highly recommend Le Bistro des Vignes for dinner, the food is delicious, made with fresh, seasonal ingredients and there are always several new items on the chalkboard menu to try. I just loved this restaurant, the servers were so nice and the chef amazed us every time with fresh, quality ingredients prepared with love. I'll definitely go back. Oh and if you try Bistro des Vignes, don't skip dessert, you'll be glad! Back to the hotel review. The Trocadero La Tour is a small hotel and a quiet one, which is great for visiting Paris all day and coming back to your room for a hot shower and a good night's sleep. My room was clean, spacious, luminous and had a little balcony and a view on the pretty rue Massenet, so I was very pleased with it. Bedding was super comfortable, extra pillows available, high quality white sheets and the room was clean upon arrival and kept clean and stocked with enough towels, tissues, soap, shampoo, etc. throughout my stay. I asked for a bathrobe the first night because it wasn't supplied, and five minutes later, I got the fluffiest, coziest hotel bathrobe so do ask for one if you like to relax in your bathrobe like I do after you shower. What else... I didn't take the breakfast option because I like going out and trying little cafés for breakfast, but I ended up going a bakery that's a 2 minutes walk from the hotel, called Aux Pains de Manon on rue de l'Annonciation because it has great Illy coffee, Dammann Tea and the best croissants, pains aux chocolat and chaussons aux pommes I've had in a long time. It's convenient to get breakfast there since it's so close to the hotel, inexpensive (about 8 euros for an orange juice, coffee or tea and a pastry) but the hotel also has a beautiful breakfast area so if you like having breakfast before going out, I also recommend it. I was very pleased with this hotel because it felt like home and I loved the perfect location. The staff is very nice and friendly, yet non-intrusive and discreet. They share tips so make sure to tip whenever you get some kind of service. The hotel manager was such a gentleman and made my last day at the hotel the best day by allowing me to checkout a bit later than checkout time, which allowed me to spend all morning visiting Paris and have a fabulous lunch before heading to the airport, and for that I thank him sincerely and am forever grateful for what that extra hour and a half allowed me to experience in Paris. It ended my wonderful stay in a high note and I left very happy to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Paris in a clean, quiet, elegant, perfectly located hotel. To me it has the look and quality of a 4 star hotel with the service of a five star. Thank you to the wonderful staff of Hotel Best Western Trocadero Premier, I look forward to my next stay in beautiful Paris!
After a disaster Airb&b encounter we ended up leaving our rental and coming here to the Best Western very late at night. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was pretty small, but that's typical in this area. It was however clean and we were happy to stay here. It's very close to the Eiffel Tower (10-15 min walk) and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. It's priced reasonable for its location.
Hotel was perfect for a weekend break in Paris, close to Eiffel Tower, metro station, shops and restaurants. The hotel is in a lovely period building. Lovely room, great breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. Ideal for business or leisure travel.
This is a very good hotel location in a top place (16th District) where Eiffel tower is about 15 mins walk and Champs Elysees is about 20/25. Many places to eat and do groceries near by. Staff is VERY polite, helpful and professional. BUT.... The hotel needs MAJOR renovation especially for their bathrooms and general room up-gradation. Elevator is VERY small. With my 2 luggage I could not get in. REALLY! My son waited on our floor and sent luggage on its own up for him to collect and I took stairs. Bathroom is always cold and shower need upgrading. All else Bathroom was beautiful in French style. Room was spacious and good. BUT... Housekeeping is NOT what a four stars should be. Last day our room was hardly cleaned. HOWEVER, I hope they upgrade BECAUSE if I visit Paris again I WILL seriously consider staying here again.
This served as our base hotel while venturing in through and around Paris and surrounding towns. Staff members were always around and friendly. The location is within walking distance of shopping, grocery, and both the Metro and RER stations. Only complaint was one of our rooms were on the second floor and although the facility is non smoking, we could smell smoke in the hall upon entering our room. Would we stay here again? Yes.
I always have a nice stay. Walking distance to OECD, Eiffel Tower, Bois de Boulogne, and Passy shopping. Classy, good service, nice breakfast (goes beyond a croissant). Not recommended for people mobility impaired. Nice for business traveller or couple travelling to Paris and wishing to be just a little outside the main hubbub and wanting to see lots of green space due to the proximity of many parks. Expensive area but lovely to walk around and shop in.
We had 2 rooms. Both were lovely, clean, and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious, and the service was wonderful. The breakfast room was charming and a real treat to be in. We actually thought the whole hotel was charming. I really didn't want to stay in one of the ones with a modern interior, and I'm so glad we found this one. Everyone spoke English well and they were all very helpful. There are restaurants and stores close by including a Starbucks in the little mall around the corner. It didn't open till 9 and we were usually out by then. It's not located right in the heart of things, a little off to the side, but the area is so beautiful and a bit more of a neighborhood which we all really enjoyed. I'd love to stay here again.
The hotel is a nice boutique hotel on a quiet street in a nice part of town. Breakfast was good although the bacon and eggs were cold. The better level rooms are really nice with comfortable beds. As a slight drawback, the room was rather cold and there was no proper heating.
We are very please with service. Everyone friendly and helpul. We felt safe around that neighborhood. We used public transportation to get around. We walk to Eiffel Tower. We highly recommend this hotel. Thanks to everyone.
If only I could add another star! This was my home for 9 nights. Not only is the location amazing, so are the people that work there! Everyone is so friendly and they offered ideas as to where to eat and must see places in Paris! Thank you Alexa, Fadhal and Vincent! I felt safe and it was on a quiet street a block away from the busy streets of Paris! I will come back and stay here the next time I am in town! Thank you!
We cannot say enough fabulous things about our hotel! We would highly recommend it to ANYONE going to Paris! The location is amazing! Very close to shops, markets, cafes and a short walk to the Eiffel Tower. And, it is locate on a quite side street. The rooms are small but comfortable and the hotel is adorable. The staff is beyond expectation! Particularly the evening staff! They helped us with everything!! It was like having our own tour guides!!
The hotel was conveniently located at walking distance from the Eiffel Tower which is not only one of the main attractions but also is a great place for tourists to hang out, eat and also get into the sightseeing tours. The rooms are very cramped and I felt was not value for money. The bathrooms were huge though almost as big as the room. Housekeeping was not upto the mark and have limited hours of service and most of the time the reception staff had to stand in for them for any refills. We arrived a bit early and there was great reluctance to allot a room though they had empty rooms and had us wait for about three hours which we felt was uncalled for. Some of the staff could do with being a bit more hospitable.
The only issue we had was the fact that two single beds had been put together and kept coming apart! This meant a bit of a disturbed sleep. Otherwise we will be back and would fully recommend the hotel.
I found the price/quality balance of this hotel not so good. The rooms are small and noisy. One clearly hears people in the hallway and TV sounds from the other room. The water of the shower flowed in the wrong direction creating a wet mess in the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was too low to comfortably shower. The rooms are very classic (I prefer modern). Breakfast is expensive (19 euro) and very simple. All in all not a recommended hotel for me.
I noticed a lot of dust on the stairs as if they are not cleaned daily. The check out took 30 miniutes and they room prices were different (higher) than agreed in advance. It took a lot of time to get the bill right as agreed in advance.
I travel for work. I have stayed at other hotels in Paris but keep going back to this one because of how friendly the staff are. The service is excellent. The staff are always willing to go out of their way for you. To me, this place is like a home away from home.
My wife, son and I spent the weekend here. Hotel has lots of charm and character. It is on a quiet street in a residential part of Paris but still close to metro and main sights are easily reached by metro or bus or even on foot if you have time and the weather is nice. The room was small but clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and attentive. My only slightly negative comment would be that the breakfast is very expensive for what you get (although the breakfast room is lovely)! You'd be better off getting breakfast in one if the many nearby boulangeries or cafes.
This is a little gem. Placed in the heart of Paris. Walking distance from all the attractions. But above all staffed by people you will not find anywhere in Paris. Amazing service attitude with a smile and they are very knowledgeable. A++ for people.
Lovely weekend trip to Paris with two other couples. Within walking distance to the beautiful Eiffel Tower, famous shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes etc Clean rooms, not the biggest but with so much to do in Paris you only need a room to sleep in! :) Hairdryer in room very poor. Like breath lol Kettle tea coffee and mini bar provided Double bed was comfy Big wardrobe Lift is sooooo tiny. Literally two people is too many and it broke down once too so being on the 7th floor as we were it was a little annoying but was fixed by the time we got back. Staff were very welcoming and couldn't help enough. Especially night staff Nicholas. Has a very small bar in lobby. Not much choice but it's ok if you want a night cap. Overall great price hotel we was happy during our stay just wish we could of stayed longer! Many thanks
I visited Paris many times and stayed at many different hotels but this was the best stay in Paris by far. The location, roominess, comfort, cleanness, they were all very good. The staff was friendly and always smiling. Strongly recommended.
My wife and I along with our two children stayed in room 55 at this wonderful property last week in Paris were so impressed. The room was excellent and large enough to accommodate four people. The room was clean, comfortable and had a great bathroom. What really impressed me was how connected and helpful the General Manager Mr. Thierry Dechaux was to each guest at the hotel. He and his staff really made this a very enjoyable trip to Paris for our family. Above all, the hotel is so conveniently located to most major tourist attractions in Paris. Would love to return to this great hotel one day! Thank you Thierry and team!
What a great cozy friendly clean, affordable quiet, centrally located hotel. I like brands, and that it was a familiar brand helped also. As a citizen of US, I am familiar with Best Western and I trust their brand. They did not disappoint. The photos you see of their lobby and entry are perfect. The hotel is charming and colorful. I did not mind that it is not on a cafe lined street. That added to its mystery and retreat-ness for me. I could disappear in to the hotel and room and feel as though I was a parisienne. The staff were impeccable. They waited on any need I conjured. Including my need for a cab at 3 in the morning to satisfy my very early flight departure from CDG (bad planning on my part, we must have been the first plane to take off that day :-) ) We were a very lovely walk down to the Tour Eiffel, and during our stay we used Velib bike share. If you do this, also download this amazing App called Bike Citizens. It takes the guesswork out of staying on all the approved and marked bike lanes in Paris. It saved us SO much stress. We used to ride Velib without it and it was a chore. not anymore. We didn't use the morning breakfast but we smelled it each day and it smelled delicious. We were in town to spectate the final stage of the Tour de France. We were 1.2 miles from Arc and .8 from the Seine. the location is tops. Any closer and I would have felt like I could not have any peace and quiet. Our room has a roll away and my son never knew it. The bed as very comfy mattress as comfy as the permanent beds, so they are using high quality furnishings. The rooms are decorated in an era and are consistent interiors. The plumbing is in real good shape, lots of heat and pressure on the water. All the lights worked first time, the full size window opened and we had fresh outdoor air and our own balcony. We stayed in room 22. It was awesome. I can't wait to return. I would totally request this room again. I miss Paris right now as I am writing this and recalling our stay. If you of, have a great trip. Cheers
The place is well appointed without being gauche, the staff was very pleasant and helpful - including helping me with my elementary French, and the location was close to 2 metro stations and the Eiffel Tower but still set back in the quieter 16th arrondissement. Only small minuses are that rooms are 'cozy' which was good for a solo traveler like me but may be less convenient for some, and location is a chore to reach via road or train from de Gaulle Airport (I can't speak for Orly).
We weren't sure what to expect when we booked into the Best Western Trocadero de la Tour but be assured, we were not disappointed! It has charm, an old worldly character to it and an extremely efficient air conditioning system. The staff were unbelievably friendly, helpful and (for those of us who lack the language skills) extremely eloquent. The rooms were spacious, clean and well laid out. All the facilities were available and the bed was extremely comfortable. We loved the panelled bar (and we loved the bar too!). It was lovely at the end of a busy (and hot day) to walk into the air conditioned bar and enjoy 20 minutes of calm with an ice cold Perrier. Fabulous!
If you book in this hotel be aware of the very small Classic Room. It is not large enough for two people to share. it was the most uncomfortable room I have ever stayed in, Room 44, and definitely made for disappointing accommodations for our Paris vacation. The hotel is quaint but small, the elevator only holds room for one piece of luggage and one person at a time. We requested to change our room but were unable to. The pictures of the Hotel on the Official Website make it all appear much larger than it is. The staff was kind, but unable to accommodate us with an upgrade.
Near the Eiffel Tower the hotel provided a safe environment. Numerous stores and restaurants are found in this residential area. Transportation via taxi/Uber, bus or metro is readily obtained. The hotel staff gave good clear advice. The rooms were quiet, clean, relatively spacious, and had good Wi-Fi. Grab bars for getting in and out of the shower/tub would have been helpful.
This hotel is an oasis for travelers in a great location near the Eiffel Tower, various restaurants, and public transportation. We stayed there for one night before our riverboat cruise. Although the room wasn't very large, it was adequate for our needs. I found it to be quiet and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful to give directions and called a taxi for us when requested.
The staff and management at Trocadero La Tour made our stay in Paris wonderful. The room and bathroom were wonderful and clean, loved the spiral staircase. It is located minutes from Metro and RER stops. Many thanks to the staff.
Stayed in Room 62 for 6 nights while attending a conference at OECD. Therry, the front desk manager is friendly and helpful. Location is near to Eiffel Tower and enjoyed my daily morning walk there before breakfast. Two metro stations (Passy & La Muette) nearby, within 10 mins walk. Although room is small, it has a small balcony. The bathroom is spacious and clean with powerful hot shower, but the toilet seat is slightly tilted which can be quiet awkward if you're not used to it.
We've stayed here twice. It's such a sweet, charming hotel with a parisian feel. The staff are very helpful and they gave us lots of ideas for things to do. It's conveniently located. We love Paris and we'll always stay here in future. I'd recommend booking a room with a balcony. We enjoyed a lovely picnic with our balcony open.
I have stayed in this hotel several times. The last one proved to be extremely disappointing on something important to me as a business traveler : wifi. In the two rooms I had over a week, the connection was somewhere between very poor (below 1 Mbps) and not working. I raised the issue several time with the hotel management without any effect on the issue. On top of that, the connection method is neither resilient (you have to login all the time) nor secure (and thus permitting easy hacking). Such a poor performance is not acceptable in a 4 stars hotel, and even more so for a hotel addressed to business customers. It is also the sign of a business not keeping up with the needs of its customers.
Wonderful breakfast, amazing french Style room and awesome Service. The Night auditor Vincent was very helpful. Only 800 meters by foot to Eifeltower and Trocadero. Keep in mind that this hotel does not offer any parking. Parking space in Paris is not really available.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel - the staff were incredibly friendly and generous from start to finish and I was so relieved when I called several days after my departure to say I had lost my wedding ring and they said they had found it! I hate to say it, but that wouldn't happen everywhere.....I will definitely be back!
We spent three days in Paris before returning home. Hotel is within reasonable walking distance from Eiffel tower and several baton stops. Area is nice, some shopping and restaurants next door. Pretty small room, as they tend to be in Paris. Elevator is super small, had to make several trips with luggage.
The hotel is perfectly located 5-10 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and the Jardin du Trocadero (where you get the best view of the Tower). The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived early on the first day and left late on the last day and the hotel looked after our luggage for us. Highly recommend this hotel.
Stayed here with my sister for four nights and we Really enjoyed it was a really nice trip and the room was clean and had lovely decor and friendly staff Will definitely come back for another visit!!!!
A good hotel. It's situated close to the attractions of city. The staff was friendly and useful. Our room was small but well equipped. Comfortable bed. It's value for money in overall. We don't hesitate to stay here again.
This hotel is in a great location. The room we had was small but had a balcony with a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower. The bathroom only had a shower and again small. Within walking distance of all the sights you would like to visit. The staff are helpful and friendly.
While the hotel itself is perfectly nice, and well situated, I was absolutely shocked by the poor level of service. WHen an 80-year old family friend called to leave a message, the staff refused to take a message saying that it was hotel policy to not accept messages. Really? This is acceptable in a highway motel. Not for a 4 star hotel, charting 250 euros a night. Simple decency would have dictated taking this message.
The hotel was situated in a nice old building on a quiet street with little traffic. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was friendly. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a bathtub, which is always an added bonus. The breakfast buffet did not have the widest selection but everything necessary.
This is a nice midrange hotel with comfortable if sometimes loud rooms and near to metro, restaurants, & c. The Eiffel Tower is a short after dinner walk away. The breakfast is... inconsistent. During the week it was up and running at the promised time, with the usual continental stuff plus eggs, bacon and sausage. On the weekend, its timing was random and the staff were mysteriously absent, except when chatting or arguing with each other and ignoring guests. Surprisingly (it is Paris, after all), the coffee is terrible. Would not buy breakfast again here for sure.
Conveniently located on a picturesque side street off Rue Passy. Walking distance to eateries, bistros and cafes. About 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and the hop on hop off bus stop. A small mall with a grocery store is only minutes away. This hotel has the smallest elevator I've ever been in... Rated for 3 persons I would suggest they better be thin... Other than for the suitcases I suggest taking the narrow winding staircase to the upper floors... All part of the charm of this quaint hotel. The buffet breakfast is delightful.... In addition to the expected croissants, cheese and fruit there is also western style scrambled eggs, crispy bacon and sausage... And ample coffee and juice to wash it all down! If you are looking for a modern hotel with a fancy bar and full service restaurant then this is not the place for you. But if you want a decent clean hotel in a good area of the city with a bit of old world charm than I would recommend you check this place out!
Lovely hotel hidden from all of the hustle and bustle of the main road. 10 minute walk from the local attraction- Eiffel Tower where all the tourists are, so perfect distance for a quiet nights sleep. It's a 4 star hotel and that is what you get- very clean. No issues with staff, the reception lady was lovely. 10 minute walk to metro Passy. Don't forget that at the end of your stay you have to pay city tax!!
The overall appeal of this hotel is the location. The hotel is about a five-ten minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and is located in a very friendly neighborhood. There is a Monoprix(like Walgreens or Target) right down the street. The subway station is also a short walk away. The room was clean and we were not disappointed. We have been to Paris twice and we have stayed at this hotel twice. 10/10 would recommend.
Firstly, it was 37 degrees when we visited over the bank holiday weekend for our first wedding anniversary so the fact there was air con in the room meant we had died and gone to heaven! The hotel is really easy to find just off rue de passy. We arrived hot and weary, the lovely receptionist spoke English to us as she could see our French was pretty poor! She said they had upgraded us to a superior room, which was indeed super! Such a cute hotel we were on the 2nd floor which is either up the lovely spiral staircase or in the worlds tiniest lift that's a hidden door! It was just the 2 of us and the hand luggage size suitcase and we were squashed in! But happy to be on the way to our room. Inside the room was big especially by Paris standards with two cupboards 1 with hanging wardrobe 1 with the safe in and shelving unit either side of the inset bed. The room looked out onto the quiet street that the hotels located on with a large open sliding window and a railing come balcony type thing but it was too hot to open that! Large black out curtains helped with the lay in the next morning when really we should've got up but got in far to late the night before! Lovely bathroom with toiletries and bath and shower. Mini bar which I was very good and didn't touch plus a desk area and tv. We only stayed for one night so unfortunately didn't get to see much else of the hotel and didn't have breakfast as we went out and over to the Trocadero for our breakfast patisseries. Lovely cute hotel with a nice large room, I did take a video but can't upload those so it's just a sad photo of the bathroom I've got to show for it!
We had a really enjoyable stay here. The hotel was just far away from the hustle and bustle of the tower area, but close enough to make it an easy short walk to it. The staff were excellent. They were helpful and polite without being intrusive. I'm alright at French, but when I hit my limits, they all spoke perfect English, which was really appreciated. My fiancé can't speak a word of French, but they were more than happy to speak to her in English from the start when she spoke to them. I got the impression that the staff were genuinely nice people who wanted to help you enjoy your time in their city. I should also note that the air-con in the room is very effective and easy to adjust to your comfort. The Passy Metro stop is very nearby and offers easy access all over Paris. There's a marvelous (and peaceful) view of the tower from the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, around 10 mins walk away. It's a really interesting bridge in its own right, with a beautiful old raised metal viaduct carrying the metro above. We took croissants here from a bakery near the hotel for breakfast. There was barely anyone around and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We also took a cruise, with Champagne, with Vedettes de Paris from near the bridge. We didn't have to fight the crowds to get a good seat on top of the boat and it looked more comfortable than the others that we passed. This was a very special trip for us because it's when I proposed to my fiancé. The stress free experience with the hotel, and its easy access to all the sites made this trip extra special. I'd 100% recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.
Great time at this hotel. Staff very freindly and helpfull. Rooms nice and clean with working aircon. Didnt have the breakfast option but plenty of places nearby selling pastries, bread , crepes etc. Went with my son for 4 days. Love walking and easily walked to the main tourist attractions. Eiffel tower 20 min walk; louvre just over an hour .Ideal base if you dont mind a bit of light walking exercise. 31 kms walked on our longest day.
I travelled to Paris with my mom, and we booked a room at the Trocadero La Tour on points, so we were expecting something very average, and we were very happy with what we received. The room was extremely clean, bigger than what we had expected with an en-suite bathroom large enough to fit a toilet, a full bath/shower and sink (almost as big as the room itself). There was even a seating area in the room and a television and fully stocked minibar. The bed was also extremely comfortable. The best part of the trip though was hands down the service that we received. The cleaning staff were always happy and welcoming, and the staff at the reception were some of the best I have ever come across. When we first came in, we were greeted by Helene, who had a great conversation with us and made us feel extremely welcome. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived (we got there at around 10 am when rooms were typically ready around 2 PM), so she took our bags aside and took our phone number, and called us when it was ready (at around noon). They even brought our bags all the way up to the seventh floor for us. The service only got better from there - they reserved a taxi for us without any problems the night before we left, and always greeted us with great hospitality every time we came back in. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the staff. The only downsides are the breakfast and the location. We didn't have breakfast included in our stay, and were told that the full buffet 19€ per person, which we found to be extremely expensive. There is a little bakery on Passy street just around the corner that we went to instead - you can buy croissants, baguette, pain au chocolat for a fraction of the price and still have a good breakfast. As for the location, it's not terrible, but not as much fun as when we stayed on the other side of the Seine in the 7th arrondissement. Passy street (which is pretty bustling for shopping) is a stone's throw away, but the more popular Trocadero area is about a kilometre away. The good thing is that the area is quiet at night and not full of tourists, so you get a good break from the crazy hustle and bustle of the town, but I would have liked to be a bit closer to all the attractions (although Passy and Trocadero metro are only about 10 minutes away on foot). All in all, great experience, and I would definitely recommend it and stay here again!
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the last 3 years. The rooms are quiet, very clean, and each room has a kettle, cups, and tea and coffee. There is free wifi. The breakfasts are good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a block away from the Passy Plaza, and Passy street has many boutiques, shops, restaurants, and there are a number of pharmacies. It is also within walking distance of two metros.
Spent two nights here while visiting family in Paris. Location is perfect but the room is tiny and even for the location I felt it a bit uncomfortable because it was so small. I had a ground floor room with no views at all and very little natural light so it all felt a bit claustrophobic! Breakfast is €16 pp not included in the rate and looks overpriced for what you get.many restaurants just outside so best to venture out for breakfast. Staff were warm and friendly. Bathroom was a wet room so whole place was wet after a shower and unusable until it dried a couple of hours later. Housekeeping does a great job in keeping rooms clean and tidy. May be acceptable for one night only if you only need a place to sleep.
I have stayed here twice on business, and plan to stay again when I return. This hotel is just charming, and the staff are very helpful. The building is old, but well kept, with nicely updated bathrooms. There are some things that appear a little worn, such as the doors; however, I appreciate the attempt to maintain the old charm of past architecture. I see others complain about the small rooms, but I think that is not unusual for older hotels in this area (king sized beds were probably uncommon in hotels when this one was built, and they take up considerable space). Breakfast is done very well, and if you don't want to get dressed and go downstairs, you can order continental breakfast delivered to your room. The location is also great. I'm not sure that I would classify this hotel as a luxury hotel, but it is very nice and comfortable.
To sum everything up: There is basically no reason to stay anywhere else while visiting Paris. Location, comfort and especially the excellent service will want you to come back for more. Our stay was fantastic.
I love returning here every six months on my business trips. It is peaceful, with great internet and located close to two metro stations. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the beds and room amenities top notch
This hotel is located in the most convenient of locations. You can walk to Sephora and many clothing and resale shops. Very nice location to visit the tower and within a short distance. Lovely Italian restaurant down the street and many French cafes for breakfast or lunch. Most important is it is located very close to a Metro stop that is not over crowded and centrally located.
My girlfriend and I stayed at the BEST WESTERN PREMIER Trocadero La Tour for just one night for my loyalty points, and it was well situated. They have wonderful staff, Camille at reception was always smiling and willing to help with anything. The hotel also has very nice breakfast with a lots of options. The only reason I rated it average is because the owners have to think of a bit of renovation. The room itself was clean, but a lots of things let it down, the bathroom was old and dumped, during the night when going to the bathroom the floor was covered of ants.
This was my first trip to Paris and I was travelling with a friend who had stayed here. Very charming, wonderful service and in a great neighborhood. Everything is within walking distance and this hotel is close to the Eiffel Tower. Our room overlooked the street and had a Juliet balcony which was great in the morning while drinking coffee and eating croissants.
Lovely stay in a beautiful hotel. All clean and comfortable. Only downside was we were awoken by a neighbouring room's alarm at 1.30am on both nights of our stay. Otherwise would happily recommend. Staff were polite and helpful and the location was good too.
A good hotel full of character and genuine Paris charm. Friendly staff that tried to accommodate all our needs. Well worth the price, but a lack of attention to detail makes it a four instead of a five, all in all a very pleasant stay.
I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel during a recent business trip to Paris. Its a quiet neighborhood but one block away from the best shopping street in paris and within walking distance of a number of good restaurants. The staff were extremely accommodating, kind, and friendly. The breakfast is excellent, rooms very clean and quiet. I will return to this hotel that is great value for the money.
We booked this hotel through lastminute.com as a secret hotel and we were more than happy with it - it is situated just off a bustling shopping street in the 16th arondissement with a metro stop less than ten mins walk away. You can walk to the Eiffel Tower in around 10-12 mins if you don't fancy hopping on the metro for one stop. There are lots of lively cafes/brasseries very close by where you can breakfast if you don't want to get breakfast in the hotel. Our room was really nicely-decorated, with a small but fully equipped bathroom. The room itself was quite large for Paris standards and the bed was comfy (and there were extra pillows in the cupboard!) All-in-all, I would recommend this hotel and would definitely consider it for a future stay. Special thanks to Camille at the front desk who was utterly charming and pleasant.
This charming small boutique hotel was perfect for our week stay. It's on a quiet side street and in a perfect location to go wherever you want to. The Paris Metro is very easy to negotiate and the Passy station was only a few blocks away. Our room was roomy with a good sized bathroom and very good maid service daily! There is no restaurant but offers a continental breakfast at an additional charge, which one is really good. Comfortable lobby, but minimal concierge service, we have been to Paris several times and will definitely stay here in the next trip!
This is by far, the worst ever hotel I have stayed in. God knows how it was a top secret hotel on Last Minute. On entry, there was foreign objects on the stairwell which was a huge trip hazard. The room seemed okay at first but on closer inspection, was dirty, tiles broken, stains all over the place. The poo stains from the last occupants turned the toilet water a shade of brown whilst the shower ran a yellow color as they must have peed in the bathtub before they left. These are things the guest services staff should be checking before renting the room out to the next guest. The air con didn't work either so had to sleep with the windows open. What a mistake that was as the noise was ridiculous throughout the night, but even only being on the 4th floor, the room was very hot which wasn't good. To be honest, I'm surprised this has had so many good reviews and is even still running, maybe the other guests are coming from less clean countries. I'd take a picture of the toilet but don't want to risk being banned etc. Just absolute vile hotel. Only ten minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower though.
This was the place we stayed our first 3 nights in France. From the reviews here, I didn't expect anything large. We actually stayed in two different rooms. The one on the 2nd floor was significantly larger than the one on the 4th floor, however both were completely satisfactory. (Note to American travelers- pack a washcloth, most French hotels don't provide these!). Our bed was comfy, the room was well dressed and clean. There were plenty of shops and restaurants of various style within walking distance as well as easy walking distance to the Metro. The staff did speak English, some better than others and were great with suggestions. The buffet was not included with our stay. Our only complaint was directions to where we could park our car in a parking garage. (The street spots were all taken.) We went easily to where we directed to and was told by the front desk it was a 24 hour parking. When we went back to pick up our car on Sunday morning, it was clearly not open on Sundays as well as not 24 hour. We were forced to stay in Paris another day (we were supposed to head to Osny that night). Fortunately, this didn't screw up our trip since the Trocadero did have another room we could rent for that night (thus the need for two different rooms.) but apparently this isn't the only time it has happened to hotel guests. The hotel needs to make sure they clarify to people what parking garage it is that is 24/7 as well as let the guests know that some can get their car locked in on Sundays or late night. Had we been needing to catch a flight we would have been in a very miserable situation. Perhaps a simple paper map with directions to exactly which parking garage, easily copied would have saved us a lot of grief! (But can I complain about another night's stay in Paris? Not too much!)
I had a room on the 7th floor with a very noisy plant /machinery running constantly through the night. A nightmare. I asked to be changed but they said that there were no other rooms even though the place was extremely quiet.
The hotel is located on rue Massenet, 1 minute walk to rue de Passy, with bus and metro stations. The area is quiet and than upper class district well know. A baseline for an extensive city break, this hotel is perfect. The room are nicely refurbished, and are therfore very confortable and very clean. It was on the Empire-style concentrated, the overall impression was very positive. The staff was very nice, they do speak English. Perfect location, easy to catch the metro. Shopping posibilities in the corner, with mini shopping mall (Zara home, supermarket, starbucks,...)
I will definitely recommend this hotel, very good location close to Eiffel Tower and metro station. Front desk staff were very helpful providing maps and bottle openers especially Capucine. !Room clean and tidy.
A last minute booking for a business trip I found this charming hotel that ticked all the boxes - good value (for Paris), clean, accessible, and charming in a Gallic way. Good WiFi and extra pillows. Will be back again.
Overall great hotel, good location, 10 minute walk from the Eiffel tower and great shopping and close to the metro. It's in a more expensive part of Paris which is nice. Yes, the rooms are small but it's Paris! The staff was very nice and knowledge and helpful. I would recommend this hotel!
Have stayed here a number of times when I have come to Paris for meetings at the OECD. It is about a 15 minute walk to the OECD and in a nice neighborhood. The price is reasonable for Paris and the staff are quite friendly. Whenever I have had a problem they are most willing to fix it.
This Best Western is exactly what you expect from a Best Western anywhere in the world. It is a basic hotel with simple amenities. The lobby is very comfortable with good seating and friendly concierge. It is a great location the neighbourhood has lots of shopping both local boutiques and international chains. There is a great wine shop and a fantastic pâtisserie less than 5 minute walk away (perfect for baguettes, chocolate croissants and French Wine!). I was very happy with the selection for this hotel and I would recommend it to someone travelling to Paris.
Very disappointed with this hotel. Very expensive for very little! Staff helpful but surroundings leave a lot to be desired..... From false fire alarms to exploding bulbs, poor breakfast offerings, and ongoing building works
Very nice and great location in a wonderful neighborhood. Easy access to the touristy parts of Paris and a wonderful retreat from once you are done. One word of warning - there is a public parking under Passy plaza which is completely closed on Sunday. You cannot enter; and more importantly, you cannot exit this public parking until Monday after 8:30 am. When receiving parking instructions from hotel reception, verify that you have directions to the correct, and further away, public parking
Typical tourist hotel. Young and friendly staff but the hotel itself is just working its excellent location. Monument classé gives them carte blanche not to upgrade a minimum of imperfections such as a minimum of soundproofing of the windows or the walls so you don't have to hear the street, the people and their TVs, or even coughing .. On top of that, I would strongly advise anyone reading this to avoid Lastminute.com's bait-and-switch "secret hotel" that suckered me into thinking I had a luxury hotel. The price is only slightly less than through a Google search and the hotel is from being a luxury hotel as suggested in their advertising (and trick of hiding the hotel until you pay for it); in fact, their description "minutes on foot from the Eiffel Tower is nonsense"
This hotel have a great location and overall we had a lovely stay here. Very friendly, hospitable and accommodating receptionists, especially Helene and Capucine who provided us quite a lot of useful info for restaurants. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
My wife and I decided to go to Paris for our anniversary for 3 days and these hotel looked great for that. Very close to the Eiffel Tower and the center. We checked in and what our suprise when we found our room! It was a sardine can! So so small that we felt depressed and we asked if we could please be transfer to another one, the lady said yes but will be charged 30euros per night extra which at the end we paid more because the taxes are not included. Ok fine! Our next room was much much better, with a balcony and a little coffe table, more space and a lovely bathroom, all clean and spot on. The receptionist was lovely. Here is the bad thing, you will hear noises from all around the hotel: The lift going down and up. The guest from other rooms, you can hear all conversations they are having (the walls are like paper so better you don't get a party in the room next to yours). Doors opening and clossing. Noises in the early morning. It was very annoying because the quality of the room and the hotel is good but the noise is so upsetting. Don't know if I will come back again.
Myself and my partner stayed here for a few nights for a surprise birthday present. What a beautiful hotel!! When we arrived we got a free upgrade and the receptionist Helene was very friendly and helpful. The room was the perfect size for the two of us. The Eiffel Tower is 15 minutes away if you know where you are going but it was quite fun getting lost because you get to see all the little back streets. I would recommend this hotel for a few nights stay
The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is a mere 10 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and very close to Passy Metro station where you can access the rest of Paris quickly and easily. The room was an adequate size with a fairly comfortable bed and space to hang clothes in the wardrobe. It was clean and presentable but had a bit of a funny smell initially. I contacted the concierge 2 weeks before via the website before coming to the hotel to find out the best way to travel from CDG airport, but was disappointed not to get a reply. It wouldn't have taken much for a quick email, as it is very straightforward to get a train to Denfert-Rocherau then change to Passy. Word of warning...the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from the rooms next door. Not a huge problem unless you happen to be next door to the world's loudest snorers, like we were.
We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights during our Wedding Anniversary in August 2015, I contacted them prior to our trip to ask for a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower and was delighted when we arrived to be told that's what we had. From the start of our trip right through to leaving, the hotel staff were excellent, courteous to our limited grasp of the 'French' language and always friendly. The lift is small but funky and the room was a lot larger than we expected, always kept clean, had a balcony to relax on, free WiFi, and as we needed somewhere to relax as we had crammed lots in over the days we were in Paris it was perfect for our trip. As stated in other reviews, the hotel is within 10 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower and 5 minutes walk to the 'Passy' Metro station. I would highly recommend the Trocadero la Tour, and will definitely stop there again in the future.
My sister and I stayed here for five nights and loved every minute. Convenient to both la Muette & Passy undergrounds. Lovely little neighbourhood and a very quit street for central Paris. Easy walk to the Eiffel Tower and other attractions staff were polite and professional. The rooms were clean and the beds were fantastic. Loved every minute of it and can't wait to come back
This hotel was absolutely everything we had hoped for. Luxurious accommodations and located within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysees. Service was excellent, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Paris.
The location of this hotel is the best. You can walk to all of the sites in Paris from here. The decor of the hotel is very lovely. It is very much in keeping with what you would think a hotel in Paris should look like. Loved the period furnishings. Also loved the fact that this is a no smoking hotel! Only 41 rooms gives this a cozy feel. Staff was very responsive to my e-mail sent prior to my arrival. Looking at other hotels in Paris I thought this was much more of a bargain. Hotels in Paris tend to be pretty expensive. At least you get a bit more for your money at this property.
Great hotel since we got there, the arrival was efficient, got an upgrade so made it even better. Nice view of the top of the Eiffel Tower from our room, big bathroom, small elevator but we like using the stairs to balance the great dinners. Excelent service from the recepcionist and the young man in the breakfast area. So overall a Great Experience in Paris.
