Very friendly helpful staff and special mention to Sisi and Alan at the 5th floor rooftop bar who made sure our pre wedding drinks were coming fast! Very engaged with our event!

I've just spent the afternoon at the spa in the Couthouse Hotel. It was easy to get to from Old St tube. The hotel building is very impressive. As the name suggests, it was a courthouse and police station for about 90 years. The staff were very welcoming, from the concierge to their spa colleagues. I really enjoyed my afternoon of relaxation and afterwards, I was given a tour of the hotel (cells, court room, etc) it was amazing! What a great place to stay/eat/drink. The restaurants and bars have kept some of the original fittings. (One cell has been kept bare as the day it was used, possibly by Ronnie or Reggie Kray when they were there). It was fascinating. Great for people who love criminal history! Special shout out to Mihial (one of the lovely concierge staff) who gave me the history of the place and a guided tour! Thank you!

Had a fabulous time, drinks were great and I was OBSESSED with Sisi because she was kind; caring and made sure we were looked after the entire time.

Came for the spa, which was a wonderful experience itself, but got more than I expected with great hospitality from start to finish as I welcome to the hotel and then given a tour of its heritage - including background a jailhouse and courtroom - would recommend!!

Had a really nice time, the hotel staff were great. Room spacious, comfortable and cozy. And enjoyed the roof top bar also. I would strongly recommend for anyone visiting or doing business within Shoreditch.

The Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch is a decent 4-star property, but it definitely falls short of the 5-star luxury it claims. It was fine for a single night away for work, but I wouldn't stay here again as there are much better options in the area, like One Hundred Shoreditch just around the corner. Check-in & Service: Arrived at 11:00 a.m. to drop bags. The daytime staff weren't very welcoming and refused to let me do pre-arrival paperwork. However, the trainee who checked me in later that evening was lovely and friendly. The Room: Despite booking ahead in July for Sept, and requesting a high floor, I was given a first-floor accessible room. The room itself was a good size with a very comfortable bed and great blackout curtains. However, the bathroom had major drainage issues - instead of the shower water flowing away down the drain, it pooled and sat all around the main sink area, making it impossible to use without getting soaked. The Bar: Popped in at 7:00 p.m. It was completely dead with no music or atmosphere. The bartender was expected to run the bar and handle room service simultaneously, causing long waits for guests. Breakfast: A good but small selection (pastries, fruit, cereals, and hot options) in a small room with no atmosphere. A leaking food warmer ended up soaking my trousers when I leaned over to get food. Great location near Old Street and Shoreditch High Street.

We all loved the experience from the massage, spa and the hotel tour (the old courthouse and police station). The staffs were friendly and the atmosphere was cool. Would be back with more family and friends.

Great location - super easy from Old Street tube. We stayed for two nights to visit All Points East festival and it was super convenient. Beds comfy, curtains heavy so super dark and lovely cosy room. Friendly staff- Riya and Vlad were real professional and accommodating. Spa was also pretty good for a central London hotel - could possibly benefit from a bit of TLC / update.

The General Manager is an excellent hotel operator whose hospitality we have experienced previously. The Courthouse offers some great rooms in an eclectic area of London. The service is very good and the WiFi is excellent. The building is steeped in history and has a great range of facilities. Well worth a visit!

Great location. Our room was clean, spacious and comfy. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. The roof top bar was a really good place to have a drink.

I had afternoon tea and spa treatment at Courthouse hotel. My visit was very pleasant both at the spa and restaurant. Rafika, was a kind and helpful host.

Unreal experience, lovely spa facilities and staff were incredible. Overheard us mention it was for a birthday and delivered a cake to the room. Shout out to Vlad, Rafi and Lenu for the great service and warm welcome!

Rafika, our server, was lovely and provided great service at breakfast! Made us feel very welcome! Hotel rooms are large with nice city view. Staff here is great- we arrived early and they were able to provide us with early check in which was nice after long journey from Arizona to UK.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Courthouse Hotel in Shoreditch. The building itself is impressive and full of history, with the added option of taking a guided tour if you want to learn more about its fascinating past. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and everything was in good working order. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a great rainhead shower. Breakfast was buffet-style, offering a good selection of both hot and cold options, and having breakfast in the old courtroom was a lovely touch and really added to the character of the hotel. One of the highlights was the rooftop bar, which has an amazing view across London — definitely worth a visit, especially in the evening. Overall, a really enjoyable stay in a hotel with plenty of character and a great location. We would definitely recommend The Courthouse Hotel and would happily stay again.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The roof top bar is a lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon. All of the staff were smiling and helpful - everyone said hello with a smile (apart from the Indian girl who checked us in who looked like it was an effort to even breathe! - maybe don't be on the main reception) The room was spacious and clean and the bed was big and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. The hotel itself has a lovely chilled vibe and we would definitely stay here again.

Staff from reception, bar, housekeeping, and the moment you walk in were all excellent. Best facilities in East London, felt like home.

I had such a lovely stay here and honestly can't recommend it enough. The hotel itself is beautiful – spotlessly clean, really well decorated, and the bed was one of the comfiest I've slept in. It was a pleasure to arrive to. What really made the stay though was the staff. It's rare these days to stay somewhere that makes you feel like a genuine guest rather than just another customer, but that's exactly how I felt from the moment I arrived. A huge thank you to Bhanu, Leru and Vlad for looking after me so well. They were all so friendly and attentive, helped me navigate London, the staff the night previous wished me a lovely evening when I was heading out, with Bhanu, Leru and Vlad wishing me a safe journey home when I was leaving. It's the little things like that that really make a difference. On the morning I was due to check out, I unexpectedly had to take a work meeting on my laptop. Without hesitation, they very kindly let me stay in my room a little longer than the usual check-out time, which I was so grateful for. It took away a lot of stress and was such a thoughtful gesture. Thank you again for making my stay so enjoyable. The hotel is fantastic, but it's the people that make it so special. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in London.

Our experience was amazing from start to finish. The customer service was some of the best we've ever received. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our anniversary extra special. A special mention goes to Vlad. When we checked out, he took us up to the rooftop bar so we could have a look, as we hadn't had the chance during our stay. He also gave us a fascinating tour of the hotel, showing us the courtroom, jail cell, and sharing the history behind it all. It was such a thoughtful gesture and the perfect way to end an already incredible stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend staying here.

This is not a 5 star hotel & would be pushed to reach a 4. Some parts are in need of repair, outside plants were littered with rubbish & the breakfast wasnt great, it was help yourself from pots on tables, we left breakfast & went elsewhere, other than this the staff were pleasant & the central location was good. Poor choise chosen by lookinh at pics.

We are just leaving this beautiful hotel, so historic and quirky at the same time! Staff were really helpful, duty manager took us on a tour and we have just enjoyed a drink on the rooftop terrace . Spa was wonderful and rooms comfortable and clean.

We only stopped by the Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch for drinks at the rooftop bar, but it turned into a really memorable visit. Yashwin kindly showed us around the hotel and shared the fascinating history of the building, which was incredibly interesting and made us appreciate the property even more. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humour, making the whole experience enjoyable. The rooftop bar was a lovely spot too. Stayed here for 4 nights. I was here on business while family tagged along for fun. We had a great time. The location is great, with plenty of great food options for every taste. Other parts of London can be suffocating with tourists and traffic. This location was just outside of all that and allowed several pleasant evening walks.Of course, with London's world class public transport, the entire city is easily accessible. Back to the hotel. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The beds are comfortable. The place is clean. But most of all the staff and service is absolutely impeccable. Cannot thank them enough for exceeding our expectations in every respect.

I was just exploring the Shoreditch area and came across Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch. I had no idea the hotel was so big and had such a fascinating history behind it. Yashwin gave us a brilliant historic tour — he was very knowledgeable, genuinely funny, and explained everything with great humour, making the tour both interesting and entertaining. A wonderful experience with a perfect mix of history, stories, and laughs. Highly recommended!

Amazing tour by Vlad, he really took the time out to let us know about all the original feature's of the building, the history behind the courthouse and also the surrounding areas. We really enjoyed learning about the courthouse, would recommend! Also we attended for the spa and that was great.

Receptionist was on whatsapp with friends while checking us in, just in front of us. She recommended roof top bar and hotel bar, was turned away from both due to private hire. Ok, maybe let us know that this 5 star hotel is closed for paying guests (expensive). Towels and stuff in room was all for 1 person, called reception, and got extra toilet paper. Nice room though

Very disappointing experience at what claims to be a 4-star luxury hotel. Three rooms were booked, but only one was available at check-in, forcing six adults to get ready for an evening event in a single room. The remaining rooms were not provided until after 1:30am. One room had significant maintenance issues, including a blocked sink, faulty shower controls, and an unusable shower due to heavy limescale. To make matters worse, no manager was available to address concerns at checkout, resulting in further delays and disruption. Most disappointing of all was the hotel's handling of the complaint. Despite acknowledging the failures, no meaningful compensation was offered, leaving the impression that guest satisfaction is not a priority. Unfortunately, the service and standards fell well below expectations, and the response afterwards did little to restore confidence.

Had a great experience in the rooftop bar yesterday and also had a fantastic evening last week and came with my girlfriend. The cocktails, omg, delicious! The till guy Ferdeen (not sure how to spell his name) was sooo polite and friendly with us and help sort out our orders. The bartenders Soranah and CiCi were ever so polite and genuinely went over and beyond to make our experience great. Would recommend others to visit the rooftop!

My twin and I came for the spa which was amazinggg. After we were done, Vlad took us on a tour of the building. There is so much history here and he was so informative and educative! He went out of his way to make hour birthday so special!!

We had a fantastic stay at the Courthouse Hotel in London, and a huge part of that was thanks to Syed. From the moment we arrived, Syed provided outstanding customer service. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. He kindly upgraded our room, which was a lovely surprise and made our trip even more enjoyable. Every time we called reception, Syed answered promptly and was always polite, respectful, and happy to help with anything we needed. It's rare to come across someone who genuinely goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, but that's exactly what he did. His positive attitude and exceptional service really stood out and made us feel valued as guests. Staff like Syed are the reason we'll definitely be coming back. Thank you for making our stay such a memorable one!

There is no way this hotel is 5 star. I always book 4 or 5 star and this was for work. Great looking old building but the rooms are a bit shabby, WiFi didn't work, spa was tired and fitness centre some of the machines not working. As for the breakfast - which I heard was £28 per person.- well I've had better at travelodge or a market. Food was minimal, not topped up and was inferior in quality. No way 5 star!!

If you want your corporate event to be shoved aside for a more "important" business, to be ignored by the rooftop bar manager when asking to see him, for the staff to have no idea how much you have prepaid and so not to charge individuals for drinks, to have the food you pre-ordered left out in the full sun and not brought over to you, to be asked to leave the area you have booked before the end of the booking to yet again make way for a more important business, then this is the place for you!

This is only about my visit to the spa nor the hotel it's self. The pictures online make the spa look really nice but in fact it's dark and need a touch up. Very small facility. The jacuzzi was built into the swimming pool, but when you look on other websites, it's separate. The relaxation area is around the pool and the furniture could do with being replaced. Steam room had a funny smell to it. Locker room was an open room so couldn't shut the look to get changed on your own. The staff were amazing down there. Only thing that let it down is when you booked your don't get offered the choice of a male or female masseuse. A few ladies on the day I went refused to participate as they were given males without being asked first.

Exceptional hotel in central London. Service provided from all staff members from Reception/ Concierge to housekeeping was outstanding. With excellent double glazing windows I slept comfortably not hearing traffic and chaos of the city. Will definitely be going back. Many thanks

Beautiful Hotel ❤️ What a stunning hotel . We had a Hen Weekend of 11 girls . The service and hotel were perfect . Clean, comfortable and friendly. We felt spoilt , the concierge helped all the girls with our bags . We had a beautiful room, gorgeous bathroom with a deep bath , plenty of towels and robes for each of us . The rooftop bar was beautiful, such a stunning view , very high class We used the pool and sauna and steam room , only wish we stayed longer to use the bowling alley and cinema there. Breakfast was lovely , a nice English breakfast if you liked , or other choices available, fresh orange , tea, coffee etc. Thankyou very much for having us all . Us girls had an amazing stay and are all sorry it was only for one night . Would highly recommend this hotel . It ticks every box you would love ❤️

This is my second time coming along to this location for the spa services but first time having the afternoon tea. Mihail and team were all super friendly and this was welcome as it was my 30th birthday treat. Spa location, massage and afternoon tea were brilliant and it was so peaceful and chill. I would 100% come back and would look forward to it❤️

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a very good bed and everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The bathroom was also well maintained and felt high quality. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient throughout, making the whole stay smooth from check-in to check-out. Any requests were handled quickly and professionally. Facilities were a real highlight, especially the rooftop pool and bar area, which had a great atmosphere and made the stay feel more memorable. Overall, it's a comfortable, stylish hotel with great service and a lot of personality. I'd happily stay again.

Mihail was an incredible concierge, he helped showing us around the hotel, speaking about the history of the place and showed us an amazing time. We came for a birthday and they even offered us cake on the house. Highly recommend this hotel, the staff and the spa were phenomenal.

Last weekend, I hosted a party for 60 guests at the Upper 5th rooftop bar at Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout the planning and on the night itself. A special thank you to manager Kasim, who was fantastic to work with and really helped bring our concept to life. The response from our guests was excellent, and everyone loved the atmosphere, service, and venue. We'll definitely be hosting more parties and events with Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch in the future!

I came to the Courthouse Hotel today (24.05,26), for the Beauty and Melody Spa day as a birthday gift to myself and it was such a lovely experience from start to finish. I had an amazing massage as my chosen treatment and the spa access before was wonderful, the pool and jacuzzi were absolutely heavenly and so relaxing. After my massage, I headed to afternoon tea, which was beautifully presented and delicious. I was served by Rafika, who was kind, attentive and made me feel very welcome throughout my visit. Her friendly service really added to the experience. Overall, I had a fantastic time and left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I would definitely come back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special treat or spa day. V

My husband and I booked a couples massage with afternoon tea. We were treated with respect and attention to detail. It was amazing. All the staff from start to finish were fantastic from the massage, receptionists and Rafika & mahid. Sorry we didn't get all the names of staff but a well deserved 5* rating Thanks you very much. We will be back again.

As soon as we approached the main doors of the hotel, We were greeted by Mihail. We were welcomed and spoiled as soon as we arrived. Please ask for him if you get the opportunity to have an amazing concierge. We had a wonderful stay. He suggested several restaurants that were within walking distance of the hotel. The rooftop bar was open also. Julian served us and was very kind and personable. Would have gone back but they do close at 6 pm, but there are several areas in the hotel to enjoy a drink if needed. Bowling and swimming are some of the other options. The room was clean, shower temperature was nice and the bed was very comfortable and the stay was perfect for me. This was the best hotel during our excursion in the U.K.

I'm honestly still full of a warm heart wnd so much joy writing this I am so incredibly grateful to Courthouse hotel, Jail bar restaurant for making my mum's birthday the most special she has ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely amazing. The level of care, attentiveness, and genuine warmth they showed us was beyond anything I've ever experienced in a restaurant. I want to give a special thank you to Diana, Alana, and Mihail you were all incredible. You truly went above and beyond accommodating last-minute requests with ease, playing our songs, and making the whole evening feel so personal and unforgettable. The gentleman at reception Mihail was phenomenal. He welcomed us so warmly and even took us up to the rooftop bar, which was such a beautiful and unexpected highlight of the night. And the food? Absolutely incredible every dish was delicious and added to the overall experience.Alana he was the best waiter I've come across! So kind , funny and amazing servitude They even surprised my mum with a birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful touch and meant so much to us. It's the little things like this that made the night feel magical. This is genuinely the best restaurant I have ever been to in my life not just for the food, but for the service, the atmosphere, and the way they made us feel. 100 out of 10. This is the second time I've stayed at The Courthouse hotel and it hasn't disappointed with it's amazing service. This time I stayed with my husband and friends to celebrate my 40th birthday and the staff were so helpful and accommodating with my requests. A big shout out to Bhanv, Jasvir and Mihail for their warm and friendly welcome. They went out of their way to make my birthday weekend special. I will definitely be coming back to stay for a third time - thank you all so much!

This was a Birthday Easter Weekend break and we were not disappointed. The hotel is a converted court house with a beautiful decor inside and oozing character. The staff were incredibly helpful, and I mean incredibly helpful and knowledgeable too, a special thanks to Riya (Reception), and Mihail (Concierge) for just being so attentive. The Courthouse has a great roof garden area and pool, as well as a relaxing bar and lovely breakfast area. The rooms are spacious with great facilities. I can't recommend this hotel enough, and you'll definitely want to come back again, as we will. Enjoy.

Came here on a weekend trip the hotel is beautifully clean with a nice decor good breakfast The evening food is satisfactory there are plenty of places around the area to eat too a great little spa area that wasn't busy what makes this hotel are how friendly and attentive the staff are nothing is too much trouble
