Stayed here for one night & wished it could have been longer. Would have given a 5 star rating but they took my credit card & charged a holding deposit & it didn't get removed from my credit card for nearly a week.
We decided to stay in Vancouver for three days after taking a cruise to Alaska. This hotel was the perfect ending to a great trip!! There was no huge lobby or shops but the staff was excellent! The rooms were very, very nice with very comfortable beds, pillows and linens. The marble bathrooms were also very nice....the shower was large with a rain head and hand held. The hotel was beautiful and modern.Franke's restaurant, that is connected to the Hotel was excellent!! We wound up eating there for breakfast every morning( you can choose buffet or menu)and most dinners because it was sooo good! Try the mussels and the excellent specialty pasta, also great pizza!!
This hotel is very modern, we found the staff all very friendly ans helpful. The rooms were beautiful clean and modern. Rooms has tea coffee and hot chocolate and bottlea of water, would have loved. Pool for the kids but we survived. Hotel we found was central for shopping and also for walking to Canada Place. They had an italian restaurant next door which was possibly connected to hotel this was first class really enjoyed our stay here
I husband has a convention here in Vancouver Georgian Court, Hotel was one on the list to book Excellent location walking distance to his convention We had a great room on the eighth floor great TV coffee maker little fridge bathroom with the tub which is very important Walking distance within 6 to 8 blocks of the main mall downtown Close to shopping all along Robson Clean rooms great service A little pricey but lovely
Great location for cruise ship stay prior to departure, restaurant next door is great and they have gluten free options. Room was quiet, located as we request near elevator. Bell boys were wonderful with luggage into and out of hotel. Quick and on time. This will be a very popular hotel for location and service.
The hotel was ideally located for a 3 night stop. There are numerous eating establishments on Robson Street within 2 to 10 min walks.A 15 min walk took you into the main shopping area.Stanley Park,Canada Place and Granville Island were within 5-10 mins by taxi and Granvillle Island a 10 min walk and water taxi away. The hotel room was spotless and, furnished to a high standard. All staff were friendly and helpful and the Hotel's Frankie's Restaurant provided a very good breakfast(the buffet breakfast was excellent value) and evening dinner.
This hotel is located in a great location. Ideal for Rogers Arena (5 min walk) but also only 20 mins walk to the convention centre and city centre. The hotel rooms were clean and very spacious. The restaurant attached did a great breakfast.
We recently spent 3 nights here at the start of our tour. The hotel is very clean throughout and the rooms have everything you might need, right down to an umbrella and yoga mat! It was well situated for local downtown attractions and is in a nice area. The sky train was minutes walk away and we walked to the Vancouver Lookout, Canada Place, Gastown and even to Stanley Park and back! Just off Robson St, it's surrounded by coffee shops, 7-11 and good mini market 3-4 blocks west. We ate one night at Frankies restaurant attached to the hotel, which was not expensive and pretty good. All in all I'd recommend this as a good base for exploring Vancouver.
An excellent choice for visiting Vancouver and having access to the city and its attractions. Room was clean, sufficient for our needs. Staff were most helpful. It was a good starting point for our visit to a great city.
An excellent choice with in room nespresso ane bathrobes. Superb customer service. They tries their best to accomodate my request for an extended checkout, great restaurant in house, excellent parkade and easy access to highways.
The front desk staff was very inviting when we arrived and upgraded our room for free. The hotel and room were very clean and comfortable. The one disappoint was there was no continental breakfast. Overall it was a very good stay.
Lovely hotel near to all Vancouver's attractions. We stayed for two nights here and were rewarded with an upgrade to a super two bedroom suite on the 12th floor. A very comfortable stay. Thank you. If I made any negative comments it is that the restaurant is Italian themed. I don't particularly like Italian food and feel the restaurant in a hotel would be better as 'international cuisine' to cater for all nationalities. We didn't therefore use it, but did have breakfast which was lovely, but a bit confused as there we had to wait to be seated each morning, although there were plenty of tables! Maybe then due to a lack of staff. Food was fine.
This hotel is excellent its in a good location right in the town centre , There is tea & Coffee in the room plus complementary water ,The room are of a good size ,there is a restaurant next door ,Which you can have Breakfast or evening meals, the cost of the Breakfast is 12.50 dollars for continental or 17.50 for the full breakfast including fry up.The evening meals are reasonable to .Well worth going to ,Its only a short walk to different places in the town .Right next door to the Vancouver Whitecaps stadium .
Great Location! Walking distance to restaurants, bus stop hop on hop off pick up is right around the corner, train station is about two blocks away, stadium is right across the street, shopping mall is within walking distance. Staff were very helpful. Rooms very spacious.
Stayed here twice in a week (with a trip to Vancouver Island in between) and the location, accommodation and food were excellent. The hotel is centrally located near the stadium, and allows easy access to the city on foot and by local transport. The restaurant served a good variety of food and our 4th floor rooms were good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Dear Nick, Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed both of your stays with us. Our location is very convenient for sightseeing around downtown, and we are glad to hear that you were able to experience what our wonderful city has to offer! We hope to have the chance to be your home away from home again the next time you visit Vancouver. All the best! Warm regards, L. Jackson General Manager
The hote is located in very convenient location. The rooms and overal areas are clean. Staff are very cooperative and friendly. I didn't see any negative point during my stay at hotel. The bathroom and facilities in the room are renewed.
This is a hotel listed under the Rocky Mountaineer itinerary for SilverLeaf. After checking out the location, I extended my stay in this hotel for 3 more nights in Vancouver. My first experience with the hotel staff was online, when I wrote in to find out about the shuttle service. The first response was pretty fast. However, I did not hear from them again when I further enquiried further the areas that defined 'downtown' when I was planning for my day trips before departing for Vancouver. In terms of cost, I think it's comparable to other equivalent hotels in Vancouver, though it's considered relatively costly when compared to comparable hotels in many parts of Asia. However, if one looks for quality service, I think it's worth the value, considering its location (which is pretty central), and I would consider returning to this hotel if I were to come back to Vancouver again. My face-to-face interaction: The front desk staff at the Reception/ Check-in/ Concierge demonstrated high professionalism. They are patient and helpful, and were able to give inputs on weather conditions while helping to checked out the day trips available. They acted swiftly, and also to see through the booking of the free shuttle service to places within downtown. I enjoyed this convenience thoroughly. In terms of the room, it's spacious and clean. Love the comfort of the bed, and the coffee machine is a plus for a dose of caffeine anytime.
rooms well appointed, good facilites beautiful shower room, all acttractions within easy walking distance , staff very helpful and knowledgeable would stay again at this hotel. all shops within easy walking distance.
We were booked in here for three nights before our Alaskan cruise so didn't actually choose the hotel. Good things: Fantastically comfortable bed. Plenty of shelf space in the loo. Robes and slippers are provided and free bottled water daily. The night light in the loo was also really useful so one doesn't need to turn on the over head light and possibly wake ones partner. whirlpool jacuzzi was enjoyable. Not so good: We opened our curtains to stare directly into what looked like a break room of an office or school so we kept the curtains closed. Gym was tiny with a cross trainer and bike and two treadmills. We went twice and each day people went away as equipment was in use. We requested a quiet room and it was from inside but there was a constant hum from outside. the steam room was never steamy and both times there was no hot water in the showers in the jacuzzi areas. Poor Mildew on the tiles in the bathroom . No vanity kit or sanitary bags.We waited to be seated at breakfast but they were over whelmed and couldn't cope so we went else where. This is described as a boutique hotel and maybe it is on other floors but our floor three was bland and corporate. We wouldn't choose to stay here again.
The hotel is very nice and is worth the money we are paying. They were upgrading their elevator system we were there, and kept us well informed. We did the Denali and the Alaska inside passage cruise, and landed in Vancouver and we decided to stay an extra four Satan were glad we chose this hotel.
This hotel was assigned to us a part of a Rocky Mountaineer vacation package. It was the final night of a most wonderful trip. We were very pleasantly surprised and happy with our evening and night at the Georgian Court Hotel. It was clean, quiet and had all of the amenities that we needed.
I travel for work often and when my travel agent was looking to find me a hotel in Vancouver she suggested The Georgian Court Hotel. I said great not really knowing how lovely it was going to be. I usually stay in hotels with reward points. The check in process was fine with one agent and it was busy but it moved. When it was my turn to check in they provided me with a complimentary room upgrade to the Penthouse Suite. I was thrilled and then when I came up to the suite on the 12th floor it was more than I could of imagined for my two night stay. My business colleague was in a regular room and said it was more than perfect, comfortable beds, water in the rooms, the hallways are very quiet and it is clean. We have eaten all of our meals at Frankie's Italian Kitchen. The food and service is amazing and it is attached to the hotel and you can order room service. The staff have great customer service skills and this will be my Vancouver hotel every time I am here for work whether I get the penthouse suite or not! You will want to stay here for sure and the location in downtown Vancouver is excellent.
We stayed for 3 days at the Georgian. It was great how we were checked in. They werde gentle and very polite. Housekeeping was perfect, as our whole stay. If we would return to vancouver, we would choose the Georgian again. Last but not least: The Georgion allows it to discover the most popular POI's of Vancouver by a footwalk!!!
Great room,on 5th floor. Staff friendly ,efficient & very helpful to us when my wife took sick & we needed assistance. Hotel in good position near Robson Street . If we revisit Vancouver we would stay here.Would recommend to friends.
Arrived from a cruise ship for 2 nights prior to our flight home. Frankies provides great food on our first night but breakfast was a completely different matter- the plates were stone cold, the food luke warm and the choice deplorable. We arrived at 9.20 but couldn't believe that the staff were not replenishing the buffet (closes at 10) and were really slow to respond to requests for tea/coffee. All in all, it was a real damper on our stay but the rooms were spacious and very well appointed so on second day we went out to Vancouver Lookout for brunch - what a treat!!
Used the gym and business centre- they fulfilled my needs. -Staff very attentive. -My partner enjoyed the clean and modern furnishings very much. -Nespresso machine was easy to use in the morning. Restaurant on-site had lovely breakfast options including a reasonably-priced buffet, and delicious dinner options- the salmon was very tasty!
Very nice and clean with a comfortable ?? however the pillows might be a bit firm for some people. It's a green room so there is no control for heat or air so if you need the white noise too sleep bring a little machine or fan. There is a refrigerator and a nespresso coffee ?? maker. It's pet friendy which is cool ?? and only 20.00 ca.There is a Restaurant right next door and they have a patio. Also there is a sauna ????? and whirlpool! It's right Downtown in City Center so you can walk to Gastown,Robson but you will have to drive to Kitsilano where there is a beach ?? and salt water ?? outside pool.
Got there early having never been to Vancouver before and no issue they got me setup in a room right away. Location was great as most things were walking distance including BC Place, Gastown and Yaletown. Would not hesitate to go again!
Did we need bath robes, slippers, & a yoga mat? No. We stayed there as part of our Rocky Mountaineer tour. Hint: if you are on limited means, find the Rocky Mountaineer deal that does not include accommodation at beginning & end, & choose your own place to stay. Back to the hotel: position good for water transport from the Plaza of Nationd to Granville island, buses to Stanley Park. We loved the night light in the bathroom. Great for Seniors:) Rather Marble impression. Hard floor, not carpet. Complimentary bottles of water, coffee discs, tea including herbal choices, cream & milk pods. Proper cups for tea & coffee, real teaspoons!!!! We didn't use other facilities, or the restaurant downstairs. There is no laundry room.Apparently if you can afford this place you can also afford to send your laundry out. One thing: I asked them to call a taxi when we were moving to a new location. It was pointed out that the taxi was outside. OK. But no one offered to help us out with our bags.
Slept very well in a very comfortable hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. There was actually a mix up on the booking (100% my fault) and the manager and booking staff worked it out for me...service is obviously a priority, I was very impressed (and relieved!).
I stayed here for 6 nights at the start of a month in Canada. I am a solo female traveller in my early 40s and found this hotel very clean, safe and friendly. I was fortunate to have an early check in following a long hall flight and also appreciated the free apples at reception on arrival. The location is good and the area is safe - my room was huge! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful in all aspects. I highly recommend this hotel!
a very well situated and friendly hotel,A little dated but rooms were clean and the service was good.I would use this hotel again.the breakfast in frankies which is attached to the hotel was good as was the evening meal selection.
We stayed at the Georgian Court Hotel Vancouver for four nights in May 2018. We were very pleased with our choice. The room was spacious, very comfortable, clean and had lots of carefully chosen detail pointys to make a stay very enjoyable. We particularly found the extra power points and USB charging points very helpful. The coffee machine worked well and could also be used to make tea with the hot water function. Small but well equipped gym available. Very helpful professional staff. A short bwalk to several restaurants and take aways on Robson Street. Also a short walk to the Sky Train and bus no. 19 to Stanley Park. Well done, thank you!

Great Hotel with very attentive staff. Albeit everyone at the hotel were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly Amy was specifically kind to us as we celebrated our 50 th anniversary. Hotel is spotless and tastefully furnished. Highly recommend!

Our first time in British Columbia and our stay there was wonderful. All the questions we had or arrangements to make were handled with no problems. We ate in their Italian restaurant both nights and it is just the right touch of many other cuisines, also. The rooms were lovely, Asian and so serene.

This was a great hotel in a fabulous location. We were on an organised tour and this was by far the best of the 4 hotels we stayed in. The staff were very friendly, especially one young trainee, whose name I think was Neil; he was a charming young man. The restaurant was good and again, the staff there were lovely. It was a good end to our tour and beginning to our cruise. I would definitely recommend it.
New. modern hotel in Vancouver near BC Stadium and just off Robson Street. We were assigned there as part of a Rocky Mountaineer tour. Very helpful staff. Very clean. If you are going to a BC Stadium event, this is a great place to stay. No laundry facilities, but you can use the facilities next door at the Hampton Inn. Just don't put the Hampton Inn access card next to your Georgian court card. Breakfast lunch and dinner available at Frankie's, in the building.
We had stayed here as we were planning to attend a concert. Left the room briefly, to return, to find out we were locked out of our room because the battery on the lock was dead. Our clothes and concert tickets in the room, we became stressed. The hotel had no proper system in place to unlock the door in a timely matter. If this had been an emergency, the staff had no way of finding a way to get into the room. A technician was called but there was no answer. Finally, close to two hours later, the technician arrived to unlock the door but the hotel failed to share the door was open with us, until I had asked the front desk clerk. Super stressful incident, plus we had missed our dinner plans before the concert. The hotel, removed the parking cost from our bill, gave us a bottle of wine and chocolates, but needless to say, no discount on the room.

Rest assured, we take every single incident as an opportunity to retrain and coach our staff to provide the experience our guests deserve. I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience. Thank you. Ravi J Front Office Manager Renovations are complete! We invite you to experience our newly renovated guest rooms!
We had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was so nice. Rainfall shower :-) it was my 9 year olds first hotel experience ...the bar is set high now loli will go back the nexr time we go to a concert at Rogers arena...had isnner at the restaurant...good food and the waitress was great.
We went to Vancouver for a concert. We decided to stay at the Georgian Court because of its location. What a excellent choice we made. From the moment we arrive we knew we had made the right choice of hotel. The service was excellent, the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location is outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate staying there again.
The room was well appointed and hardwood floors which I prefer over carpeting. The bathroom was spacious and had a nice shower. But there was a lot of noise coming from the bathroom and I think that it was all related to the HVAC system. The reason that I rated it lower is that it is just a little too far from the convention center and I needed to use a cab more than I would have liked - unfortunately there is no Uber or Lyft in Vancouver. There was only the one restaurant in the hotel and although it was good food, the service was a little slow and it was not busy. This hotel was booked for me by our company travel person as I never would have booked it on my own as they are pet-friendly and I do not like to stay in pet-friendly hotels. But I did not see any animals on the property while I was there and the room seemed clean (the hardwood floors probably helped here).
We had this Hotel, for one night, room ready am, after a very long journey, and 2 nights, room ready again, early am, after our Inside Passage cruise. Staff at reception particularly friendly and helpful, saw us struggling out of the taxi, and come out to the street, to assist with cases. Not sure of this room availability so early has anything to do with the Rocky Mounteer train trip we are yet to take . . . Floor staff very obliging with extra milk and coffee.
It is a nice remodeled hotel. We stayed here for one night only. I love that their shampoo, conditioner and soap are Beekman 1802 ( my favorite brand). It was a nice surprise for us. The reason of receiving 3 1/2 Stars: when we called the hotel informing that we would be checking in late and we would love to have the rooms closer to each other, the person I talked to promise us to have the rooms to be close and have very nice view. However they were not. Normally I would not care since it was only one night stay and we got there very late. However the hotel offered and talked about having the view but they didn't deliver their promise. My sister room didn't have any shampoo or conditioner. The housekeeper was not very helpful with refilling the shampoo and conditioner. In addition, one of the elevators was not working. The hotel has no stairs.
We spent 1 night at the Georgian Court Hotel in downtown Vancouver. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff at checkin and checkout were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again
The rooms are VERY nicely renovated. Full amenities in the rooms (bathrobe, slippers, feminine products, toiletries, even a curler and a straightener!) LOVE the Nescafe machines. Front desk itself is a little dated but the lobby is gorgeous. The gym is tiny, but sufficient. Ordered the yogurt parfait for breakfast - $13.47 including grad and taxes... NOT WORTH IT.
Great easy, friendly and professional check in within minutes, full explanation all hotel complementary items and services. Rooms are exceptional, the cleanest and most professional decorated I have seen In many years of travel. So many extras which pleased my wife with curling wands and make up removers. Great restaurant next door Frankie's which deserves its own review. We are here for 2 nights with a return night on 15 may Looking forward to our next stay here. I do not normally write reviews before I leave but I and my wife are so pleased with the hotel that I thought it only right to let you all know what you are missing. I have stayed in hundreds of high profile hotels but this one shines
The rooms were very nice, and the hotel is in a great location. We walked across the street to the AquaBus and the 2 stadiums/arenas are across the street also. The front desk staff was a little disorganized though. Their computers were down when we checked out, and we left our luggage for awhile during the day. When we went to retrieve it, they couldn't seem to find it or it was stored far away from the front desk. I would stay here again, though.
Was an excellent hotel right in the middle of all the places we wanted to visit. The only downside was that they charged for parking at the end of the stay, which I assumed was free since it was only for guests and under the building.
Fresh, simple elegance. Clean. Courteous, helpful staff. We genuinely felt valued as guests. I love how this property goes a step beyond with the little extras: in-room curling iron, straightener, hair dryer, umbrella, yoga mat, nail polish remover, make-up remover wipe, q-tips, nespresso machine and cups, daily bottled water, and bathrobes. We enjoyed use of spa. We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. Note: The mattresses, although fairly new, seemed of poor quality, sagging in spots from use. When we reported this to management at the end of our stay, they were seriously concerned. We probably should have reported this earlier, and changed rooms. But it was only minor inconveniece.
This boutique hotel will see me again. Loved the location, comfortable bed, great location. Easy access to local transportation, train, hockey arena across the road and near casino. Nespresso coffee maker in the room was special
It has been several years since I stayed at the Georgian Court. They have definitely maintained their excellence over the years. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, the checkin quick, the property beautiful and well-maintained. One afternoon I had a spare couple of hours do to dome work in my room. The cleaning staff member noticed this and provided some extra coffee and water. A very welcome and attentive touch. The washroom has a beautiful shower, new fixtures and was spotless. I much prefer showers to bathtubs. I popped into the restaurant for a quick dinner tonight, they were quite busy and with several large tables. It took, maybe, 10 or 15 minutes for someone to get around to me. I wasn't fussed, I had an ipad and plenty of time and patience. None-the-less, a staff member or two noticed that I hadn't got rolling on water or a drink yet. They addressed this immediately and clearly let their manager know, as he arrived with my glass of wine on short order and indicated that it was on the house. I'm a firm believer that the test is not whether anything goes wrong, but how it is dealt with once it is realized. And following that I was absolutely pampered over my meal. Two thumbs up Georgian Court and that is only because I've run out of thumbs. If I had more I put them up to. Looking forward to my next stay!
very clean and enjoyable to stay at. The room was very nice and comfortable, enjoyed the fact I looked towards the street and the warm sun came in. Staff were all very pleasant and dining room was great with lovely service and food, Very convenient to stadium and many different experiences in downtown Vancouver. Conveniently located for walking or public transit and I one day left the car parked at the hotel and walked due to the location being so near things.
We were in Vancouver for the Sun Run and needed a good quality, reasonably priced downtown hotel for our stay. The Georgian Court did not disappoint! From the friendly professional front desk staff to the very comfortable, newly renovated room it was literally perfect from start to finish. I'd also like to give a special shout-out to the cleaning staff - everything was sparkling fresh! I was also pleasantly surprised how quiet the room was. I'm a light sleeper, but nothing kept me awake.
We loved our stay at the Georgian Court. Aside from its great location, the staff was amazing and super helpful. Daniel as well as his colleagues went above and beyond with any of our our needs. I would definitely stay here again.
Great staff, room, and location....who could ask for more! Cleanliness and cordiality from all employees enhanced the stay. We walked everywhere downtown, to shop, just to wander, to try some of the many cafes and restaurants in the area, and to attend a sporting event.
Our stay was epitomised by professional hospitality from the front desk staff, and the suite appointments, with every possible item provided in the suite (including an umbrella!). Thank you for a first class stay. My only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer.
Very pleasant stay at this hotel recently. We arrived early after getting of a cruise ship but the hotel staff we very accommodating and found us an available room. The hotel and facilities are of a very good standard. The room its self was very spacious and clean and had all the amenities we required. The hotel staff couldn't be more helpful and gave advice about the local area and provided additional umbrellas to keep us dry in the rain. It was a very enjoyable stay and a great way to finish off our vacation.
I stayed at the Georgian Court Hotel, Vancouver, BC Canada, for 2 nights in March 2018. I was with a group of 12 people who had come to Vancouver to attend a Canucks hockey game on March 17th. We all stayed at this wonderful hotel and were treated like valued guests. The rooms were spacious, clean and affordable. The hotel has an attached restaurant called Frankie's Italian Kitchen and Bar that serves scrumptious food which everyone enjoyed. And the hotel is within a 5 minute trek to Roger's Arena. Awesome! And, if you desired to go downtown they have a shuttle that is manned by wonderful, courteous, informative drivers. What more could you ask for. However, the best part of the whole stay was the hotel staff. A special shout out to Susan Leung, Director of Sales. Susan could not have been more accommodating to my group. She's the best. And Mohamed Walaf, Reservations Manager took care of some last minute changes that we had incurred with class and friendliness. Just the type of person you want greeting guests. And the housekeeping staff were magnificant. Our rooms always looked like they were brand new everyday. Bravo! Do not hesitate to stay at this terrific hotel, you cannot do any better in downtown Vancouver.
We arrived Friday pm. Were very pleased with our rooms. Cleanest bathroom I've seen ina hotel. Don't know when rooms were upgraded, but they are very nice. Ate at Frankie's for dinners and breakfast Nice menu selections. Will stay again for sure
I stayed at the Georgian Court for five nights when on business in Vancouver. The rooms are super clean and well appointed. The staff are very friendly and attended to every need (even leaving me chocolates in thanks for some feedback!). The hot tub is pleasant; the fitness and business centres are basic but all you need. There are yoga mats in the room, which I really appreciated after sitting all day in meetings. There is nice, though pricey, bar and restaurant attached to the hotel. While not located in the most picturesque part of Vancouver, it is a short walk to many nice areas.
A Great Hotel in an excellent location for both Rogers Centre and BC Place. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean , well appointed, personnel professional, friendly and accommodating. Attached restaurant is well appointed, personnel friendly, and food is delicious.
The staff is amazing, the rooms are beautifully renovated, spacious rooms, windows that open, Nespresso coffee, the restaurant on site called Frankie's has awesome food with good portions. Great value and location.
We had a lovely time in Georgian Court Hotel! The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and we were walking distance from downtown. The rest of our party stayed a bit longer for a concert at BC Place - right across the street. I absolutely recommend this place!
Hotel stay was amazing, clean and quiet rooms. Friendly staff both at the reception and the restaurant. Location is perfect! Restaurants and stores close by. Wifi connection was great. Would return any time.
Very quiet hotel, close to Skytrain and across the street from BC Place and Rogers Centre. Staff friendly and helpful. Like having the umbrella in the room for use as it rained the next day we were there.
As other have said, best is the bed. You will sleep really well on this hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean (I like he fact that there is no rug but a flooring-board). Location is great as you are next to Yaletown and minutes from downtown. If sports is your thing, BC Place and Rogers arena are just a minute walk. Lots of places to eat around. Great shops in downtown are just 5 minutes away. Bus stops are right around the corner. Will definitely come back. Great place.
I've stayed at this hotel a few times now and it's yet again another pleasant stay. It's a super location, staff is lovely, room was renovated and comfortable. Beds are excellent and pillow aren't too big. Parking is reasonable for the city and garage feels really safe and it's clean! I can't say enough about this gem.
I waffle between loving this place and hating this place but I continue to book because of the location and the familiarity. I've had every experience here from incredibly amazing and over the top to feeling like I'm in a live action exorcist. At the end of the the day the staff is pretty willing to attend to my basic needs and do what they can to make it an enjoyable visit. I do find any special request typically falls on deaf ears and is ignored but if you want a place to stay that is close to a concert or theatre, this is your place.
Our family of 4 recently stayed for 3 nights at the Georgian Court and we were all thrilled with our experience. Staff was super helpful in getting us around town and connected with transportation. Housekeeping staff kept us in coffee, tea, bottled water and ample towels. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Our room was a good size with comfortable beds and nicely decorated. Large wide screen tv, hair dryer and free coffee machine and bottled water. There is an umbrella, iron/ironing board and safe in the room. The bathroom was a good size with an excellent shower and well lit mirror, plenty of towels provided along with dressing gowns and slippers. The front desk staff were helpful, polite and able to recommend restaurants and provide directions . Frankies restaurant serves good food at a reasonable price. The hotel is in a good location and in easy walking distance to Yaletown, Gastown and Canada place, would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.
I love bathtubs over showers, and they accommodated me... great location and safe and secure. Nice clean rooms with great amenities. Love the yoga mat and sturdy umbrella provided in the room. Lighting could be stronger in the rooms, but very soft and eco...
Very nice hotel. Clean, great location and excellent service. Associated restaurant also has very good food.. We really enjoyed our stay and found the hotel to be very comfortable. Had a great sleep! And very convenient location.
Hotel was lovely! Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. Knowledgeable. Location was very good. Easily accessible. Hotel restaurant was very good and convenient. The hotel shower was awesome. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Georgian Court Hotel.
Clean and cozy. Hard wood floor. room equipped with yoga mats and nespresso machine. very comfortable stay. Good location, very close to the stadium. Good service. friendly staffs. highly recommended.
I was on work travel and stayed at the Georgian Court Hotel. Rooms were very clean, and hotel was located close to many amenities. Staff were very professional. Only challenge was getting breakfast early in the morning, as the restaurant service was not open until 7am.
I hadn't thought of the Georgian Court but am now glad I stayed there. It is very reasonably priced for a terrific renovated room with all the latest amenities (quartz counters!) and an excellent location. Will definitely stay there again.
We picked Georgian Court because it seemed convenient and well-priced. It wound up being one of the better hotels we have stayed in. We were upgraded to a suite for no extra charge (no idea why, but it was pretty exciting). The staff were universally kind and attentive. The hotel was well-appointed, and is convenient to much of Vancouver's sights. And the restaurant is pretty good, too. We would definitely recommend the Georgian Court Hotel to others visiting Vancouver!
We stayed 3 nights at the Georgian, the pictures give a more elegant impression but it was a great and good option. Clean, comfortable and well located, right in front of the BC stadium and close to Rogers Arena. Nice breakfast options in the area, Vancouver Art Gallery or stores at walking distance. Good beds and quality bath and bedlinnen, complimentary water, tea and nespressso. Good bathroom, well lid and functional design. Flatscreen of good size, hairdryer, safety deposit box.
I was so happy with my stay at the Georgian Court, it was beautiful everyone was so kind. Unfortunately I got sick while on my stay and the people at the hotel were so helpful, without being asked and knowing that I was sick the two ladies that helped me gave me extra water, toast from the restaurant downstairs and also came back later with a camomile tea. When asked if I needed anything further I said no and they informed me that if I was not up to going out and needed something at the pharmacy then they would be able to send someone for me and that there was a doctor right around the corner. It's terrible to be sick when away from home but they made sure to make me as comfortable as I possibly could be and I could not have appreciated it more. Thank you to all at the Georgian Court Hotel
Stayed on the Orchid Floor-10th floor-Room 1003 As other people in previous reviews have mentioned, this is the floor with no ice or vending machines, so have your change ready and your ice bucket, if you want to pick up pop. No ginger ale...which is sad for me, I love my ginger ale. The cost is $1.50 for a can. No vending machines which will accept bills and give you change. As for the room itself, I shared it with my daughter and her boyfriend. The washroom is located in their bedroom. That can be a drag, if you want to make a visit. The first day, I chose to go to the lobby to make my bathroom visit. That works too. Staff were very helpful and I loved the restaurant in the building. Other people have mentioned the cost to park in the building as a hotel guest. I used park and fly to park my car for 4 days and it cost me $100. To use their underground parking it was $30.00 plus tax per day which makes it equivalent. However, when you rent a car, pay for parking and then need to pay for parking everywhere else you might go, if it is out of the downtown core. As for the Hotel, I would definitely stay here again. It was chosen for the proximity to the Rogers Arena as we had tickets for a Vancouver Canucks game and being in the downtown core, you are close to alot of stores, restaurants and any amenity you could want. I can't speak highly enough of the restaurant attached to the Hotel. The food was amazing and I had to send a thank you to the chef as I experienced a delightful taste to my palette with the wings, the meatballs and then my lovely roast beef dip. Back into the hotel-I slept on the pull out sofa. It was fine for me, I had access to the Smart TV and it was a comfortable space for the three of us. The issue is the air conditioning which is right above the pullout. You have to love cold air flowing on you, ask for an extra blanket. if There is a small closet in the separate bedroom, so I used the drawers for my clothing. There really is no place to hang a coat but you get a nice round table and four chairs, so that's where the coats ended up. I'm sure for two people this is a wonderful space but if you're sharing this space be prepared for some negotiating of bathroom time. Nice big shower. Toilet is in the same space. Sink is outside the shower area. No time for use of whirlpool or steam room but definitely if I had an extended stay, I could relax in this hotel for sure.
Only staying one night but service from check-in to departure was excellent. Helpful desk staff with friendly attitude. Late checkout not possible because busy weekend but took care of baggage foe few hours without problem. Room spotless and very comfortable bed!
We checked in on a VERY busy weekend, and were greeted with professionalism and personal attention. Our bags were checked and stored, and we were allowed to enter the parking garage. When we returned, the room was ready and we had been upgraded! All in all this was a very lovely experience in this hotel. The central location is ideal for many downtown Vancouver events.
I was there for a business Trip, few demands from our company to accommodate us and our guest. The Georgian Court staff are courteous and professional, very sensitive to our needs and dedicated to our satisfaction. I would truly recommend this Hotel without any hesitation.
“Front desk Manager” is highly unprofessional to say the least. Where's the real managers at this place? I really would like to know. Room was decent though, can't complain about that. J UNITED KINGDOM

The hotel was excellent. The whirlpool was fun and the rooms had an amazing view that over looked all of Vancouver city. The first night of us staying in the hotel we ordered room service from the restaurant from downstairs and we got cheesecake...IT WAS AMAZING!!
I travelled with a group of 4 girls and we all had an amazing time, from the spa jacuzzi to the sauna, the staff, the room service, the hotel was very clean, bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is amazing! Really pretty place. We all loved everything about. The location was to die for you can literally walk to everything and anything. We will sure be going back in the near future!
Such a lovely hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything is in walking distance, restaurants, shopping, etc; and if you are attending anything at BC Place, then this is the place for you. We will stay here again.
We stayed 2 nights at the Georgian Court before heading to Whistler for a weeks skiing. I stay in hotels at least 2 or 3 times a week, and i would say in terms of room comfort, service and cleanliness the Georgian Court would rank as one of the top hotels I've stayed in. The hotel location is also excellent, being an easy walk to all the major Vancouver sights. We also used the underground car park at the hotel, which was secure and easy to access using your room key. I would definately recommend the Georgian Court Hotel as a great place to stay and will definately use this hotel when we next visit Vancouver. (Ps Breakfast in Frankies Restaurant at the hotel was also excellent. Good food & excellent service). Well done to the team at the Georgian Court Hotel.
Loved this little gem- close to bc place & Rogers arena, lots of restaurants nearby, great shower (though ours was a little leaky) and fantastic service. Front desk was very courteous in responding to our inquiries. Whirlpool and steam room was fantastic, though the hot tub was quite hot. We stayed on the third floor facing bc place which had a great little patio. View of bc place all lit up at night was dazzling. While it was a little cool to linger outside, I would request one of these rooms again.
The Georgian Court is my place to go when on business in Vancouver! Excellent location, love the bathroom and its clean and professional look. The vinyl floors with provided slippers and robe are much appreciated. The people are also just simply lovely to deal with and super friendly. Will keep staying there!
I returned to the Georgian Court because of its excellent location to the Vancouver Home and Garden Show and was more impressed this time. I experienced excellent service in the hotel and restaurant and the room was perfect. This is one hotel that I will continue to stay at when I am in Vancouver.
We checked into the Georgian Court Hotel for one evening, and were very pleased with both the service and our room. We chose a King room with a balcony on the third floor. This would be an excellent location if you are attending any event at BC Place. Though BC Place is directly across the road, we experienced no noise, and had a peaceful sleep. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had both a nice table and lamp (I'd love to have this lamp!), and a lounge chaise by the window. Though it was too cold to sit outdoors, our patio would have been a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea (available in room) in the sunshine. The ensuite bathroom is very up to date, and the shower is perfect! We enjoyed an excellent breakfast at Frankie's Restaurant, off the lobby. Our meal was delicious, and our server, Fransisco, was attentive and delightful. The meal was very well priced, which was a nice surprise, and the coffee was wonderful. We will absolutely return!
Splendid place to stay. People are very helpful. It is located handy to sky train and a huge amount of restaurants. I would recommend to anyone going to Vancouver in this part of the City that it is a fabulous choice.
Hotel was nice and very clean. When our room was serviced they did not provide clean towels and the sheets were not changed, the room was only made up. The parking charge is outrageous you are more incline to save money by publicly parking just a block down. Good area about 4/5 block from Gastown and shopping.
Great location and friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone traveling in the area. Very close to restaurants and sightseeing attractions with clean and comfortable rooms.
Outstanding guest service from the moment you walk into the lobby. Easy access to the sites and sounds of Vancouver. Beautiful room. Great restaurants and coffee shops all around the area. I really appreciated the quick access to taxis when necessary.
My favourite place to stay when in Vancouver for a concert or sporting event. Easy walk to all the best shopping an dining. Ladies only floor offers additional amenities not seen in any other hotels. Frankie' s was a great experience as well.
Flew down from Prince Rupert for custom fitting for new golf clubs and to watch the Canucks game. This hotel was centrally located for everything! No need to go looking for a good place for breakfast, Frankie's was excellent! Service and food! Very nice showers also! Complimentary bottled water in your room! (Nice!) 4 bucks a bottle for cheap water at river rock! Unreal! Definitely will be staying at the Georgia court this summer when I come back down to Van to golf!
The room was nice, service was nice and an overall great stay. Only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because it would have been nice to be warned the elevator wasn't in service from 11am-5pm that weekend while we were staying on the 12th floor.
Everything was really nice. Staff was very friendly. I got to stay in Alice coopers old room! Only was problem was rigid and uncomfortable pillows that really affected sleep. However every other aspect was great.
Came here for a weekend with my kids.....very clean and staff were super friendly. I will for sure stay there again next time in the city. The location was very close to shopping and dining. And right across from the stadium and arena
The Georgian Court is wonderful - I stayed here with a tour group to go to a musical at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, which is literally around the corner, so it was perfect for that! Excellent location with easy access to transit and to many of Vancouver's top sites. Service was excellent from all staff, they were very helpful in getting my group checked in and giving advice about the area. The rooms are beautiful and feature lots of great amenities. Breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, Frankie's, is delicious! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!
We stayed in this hotel pre and post cruise. Both stays were poles apart. Pre cruise, we thought the hotel was nice and we were looking forward to returning. Very quickly this changed. On arrival we were told our room wasn't ready, and that we couldn't Check into our room anyway as checking in was 3pm, whilst we watched others in front getting their keys and going to their rooms. We left our bags and had to go for a wander for four hours before coming back to find our room still wasn't ready. At exactly 3pm I asked about the room and the rude guy on reception wouldn't give us any information. Just after three they gave us a key to a room on the ladies floor, my husband and I! What I can't understand is we booked one year in advance, surely they allocate rooms to guests in an ordered way, especially if they are busy. The baggage boy was incredibly rude to us. As we had to leave our stuff for four hours, I had to put in my rucksack. When I put the label on across the opening he told me I was doing it wrong and it could fall off. Yes, if somebody opened it, it would. When we eventually got to the room on the ladies floor I put in a review when trying to get the internet working in our room. I got a call from the manager and I told her how annoyed we were at the poor treatment and rudeness from the reception staff. We stayed two nights the second time around. The first night we went to bed early as we were going to Seattle the next day. We got home quite late and sat relaxing for a while before putting the light out just about 23:45. Just after midnight our alarm clock went off. We do suspect foul play from the reception staff or the baggage boy as clearly the alarm didn't go off the night before, so had been set on purpose whilst we were away for the day. Their schoolboy revenge didn't work as we were awake anyway, but appalled that anyone would stoop so low to get back at us for complaining when we had been the victims of their poor treatment in the first place. We would never return or recommend this hotel.

Dear FrequentTraveller812, Thank you for your review regarding your recent stay at the Georgian Court Hotel. On behalf of the General Manager, Ms. Lisa Jackson and the entire team of the Georgian Court Hotel, we are sincerely sorry we did not exceed your expectations. Although, I am pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay during the first portion of your trip, but am so disappointed to hear that your experience changed so drastically for the second portion. Our hotel policies reflect that our check-in time is at 3pm; while we try our best to accommodate any early arrivals, unfortunately, we do not always have the availability to do so. Our “Orchid Floor” is our ladies preferred floor, this indicates that additional amenities are placed in the room for our female travelers and men are definitely welcome to stay on this floor. I hope you accept my sincere apology for the alarm clock wrongfully going off in your room. We will be sure to investigate and implement procedures for improvement to guarantee our travelers experience the best the Georgian Court Hotel has to offer. I hope we have a chance to personally speak so I may learn more of your experience and have the opportunity to make it up to you. Sincerely, Florin Gutsu Front Office Manager
We stayed at the Georgian Court for my husbands birthday. Hotel is in a great location. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food and service was excellent! We would definitely stay at the Georgian Court if we are in Vancouver again.
The overall placement of this establishment is great, many great places to eat, entertaining bars, shopping of course. Unfortunately our room view was looking into an office environment. Next time it will be street front. Rooms were good, comfortable beds, expresso machine instead of coffee, not good for us. Being from the interior of B.C. we were driving a pickup, didn't fit in the underground parking. Would of drove something else if we know. Still a okay stay.
This is a lovely, older hotel right across the street from BC Place. We found the location great because we were going to Rogers Arena. It is a bit pricey! The view of BC Place at night is spectacular.
This hotel was excellent. The décor was lovely and newly renovated. Close to shopping and easy access to Granville Island and Yaletown. Great location!! Room service was quick and reasonable. Across the street from B.C. Place stadium and Rogers arena.
We stayed in a suite which was clean, spacious, well appointed with coffee maker, complimentary water daily. Great shower and comfy bed. Location was perfect for us. So close to BC Place and Rogers Arena and many restaurants. We stayed 3 nights. Front desk friendly and helpful. My husband says breakfast at Frankies was good. Down side maid did not empty our garbage, nor refresh empty moisturizer bottle, coffee pods..
Good value. Nicely renovated. Spa wasn't working so that was unfortunate. Great location. Attached restaurant had good service but terrible food. Not the hotels fault though. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Location to Rogers Arena is excellent. Rooms beautiful and clean. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Staff very nice. Surprised me with a box a chocolates as they knew it was my birthday. So nice. Would definitely stay again.
Stayed here for 1 night and the staff were friendly, the parking plentiful, the location central and the room was peaceful, clean and nicely appointed. We were near an elevator so thought we might get some Saturday night noise, but did not. The proximity to BC Place was such a bonus. Thanks!
Great location and clean. I love that there wasn't carpet in the room. Appears that they renovated recently and all looked nice and new. Only small criticism is that the bed was hard. But that's my taste for a softer mattress.
Staff are very good. Frankie's restaurant is also very good. Proximity to B.C. Place is unbeatable. I stay here when exhibiting at the Vancouver boat show and always find it to be a pleasant experience.
Amazing location and spacious rooms. I stayed on the 9th floor with a great view of BC Place. The room had a king size bed, nice chaise for lounging, and a desk/chair. The bathroom was nice and had a great rain shower. The bathroom was the best feature of this room. The bed was very firm, to the point of being hard and uncomfortable. There was also an issue with the heating duct in my room which created a loud rattling noise when the heat kicked in. I reported this to the front desk and while they appeared to have sent someone to deal with it, the situation was not resolved. The rattling was sufficiently loud to wake me up during the night. I didn't pursue it further as I was checking out the following day. Housekeeping was excellent and the staff, in general, were pleasant and accommodating. I had room service one evening and the food was great and arrived quickly. An additional observation was that the room had hardwood (effect) flooring which I found to take away a bit of the cozy element of a plush carpet. Just a personal opinion. The room had a very modern look to it so maybe hardwood is the way of the future. ;) Although the location was perfect for me, I would probably not stay here again unless I could test out the bed first. Pillow tops would be a suggestion!
We stayed at the Georgian Court Hotel in Beatty Street Vancouver for 4 nights. It was a good location for attending the ice hockey ..the stadium was right across the road. The staff were really friendly and helpful even down to advising us which streets not to walk down during the day in China Town and Gas Town. The rooms were clean and seemed to have been renovated recently. They were quite modern. We also right near Robson Street which was handy for shopping. The restaurant called Frankies attached to the Hotel was lovely and reasonable and the Jazz club next door was great but you need to book ahead. We also found 2 great places to have breakfast at Jam and Chambras but make sure you book on weekends. It also has a pool and a gym and checkout is not until 12pm but they wont do late checkout but you can leave your bags. We thought it was great value and a great location with friendly helpful staff.
We stayed at the Georgian Court Hotel for 3 nights during our Honeymoon. The staff was so courteous and when we arrived and mentioned it was our honeymoon they even gave us complimentary parking! The location was ideal, we walked to the Rogers Center for a Canucks game, took a tour down to the water and walked up to shopping!
Parking was easy in an underground lot. Frankie's restaurant has great food. The beds were very comfortable and morning coffee in the room. We had room service once during our stay and the food was brought within 30 minutes. This was a very comfortable place to stay and I would recommend to my friends and family.
Wonderful accommodations which were walking or short-taxi-ride distance to many points of interest. The rooms and the staff were excellent. The hotel restaurant closed a little bit early (10pm), but there are many restaurants and low-key eateries that stayed open late and were within walking distance. I highly recommend.
The check in process is complicated by bike lanes and taxi stands blocking the entrance. It turns out to be easier than first appears but some signs or a doorman would have prevented my getting soaked running a block to find out i could drive into the garage first. The rooms are dark. Gray walls and minimalist lighting had me calling out the coffee machine instructions to my partner while he tried to feel his way around the machine. There are no lights near the machine, so it is difficult. The hotel is dog friendly for a price, but no where nearby is pleasant to take her for a pee. Dirty, muddy places filled with homeless people is all there is. The beds are ok but it puzzles me that the fashion is to not use fitted sheets. Unfitted sheets come loose and these did. I am a restless sleeper and woke up in a tangle and needed to remake my bed several times a night. The bathrooms are shiny and new and better lit than the rooms. Street noise can be bad if there is a big event at either sports/music venue. There are a lot of homeless in the area creating noise and litter as well. The restaurant is pretty good. Stay here if you have to be right by the stadium but there are better places in this price range
This hotel was recommended to me; I booked it for three nights this past weekend. Knowledgeable, friendly, and overall excellent service. Beautifully updated and immaculate rooms, good price for right downtown/across the street from Rogers Arena and BC Place! Restaurant attached was fantastic as well. Would definitely recommend the Georgian Court to all!
The moment we entered the property we had a positive experience at this hotel. We had the most friendly greeting via the parking garage intercom and then had a second warm greeting from the Reservation Manager Mohamed Walaf. He was so friendly and provided excellent customer service. The rest of his team at the front desk were equally friendly. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Also I did not hear any street noise or hallway noise during the night. The housekeepers were super friendly in the hallway and always asked if we needed anything when they would see us. A great stay and a great location. I would highly recommend staying here.
Terrific hotel and excellent service! The location is perfect. Nice restaurant / bar adjacent to the hotel. Rooms and lobby are recently updated and very nice. Highly recommend this spot. Exceeded our expectations.
The hotel itself and rooms are really nice but for me the standout feature was the service we received from staff. Not only were the staff friendly but also extremely helpful if you needed anything. The hotel offered free wifi and had a spa and sauna. The restaurant attached to the hotel.also had amazing Italian food. The location is great; opposite the stadium and around the corner from the hop on hop off bus stop at the Sandman. I can't recommend this hotel enough and it will now be my go to hotel whenever I am in Vancouver.
We stayed here twice, during our trip in Canada, both in December and January. Though located in downtown Vancouver, the hotel was located quite a long walking distance to main objectives. The staff was great and helpful, the rooms clean and well maintained. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, but gave us good suggestions for places nearby.
Can't find anything wrong with this place! The staff is great, rooms are beautiful and spacious, beds are very comfortable and bathrooms too! Location is top too, very close to everything. Frankie's right next door is a decent place for a bite.
The wife and I were looking for a quick trip to get away from the US and have a new surrounding for a few days. It was a very last-minute decision and we did not want to spend at ton of money. It'd been several years since we've got to Vancouver. The Georgian Court seemed to check all the boxes. The hotel was easy to find and there was plenty of parking under the hotel. The hotel was rated as a four star on many websites. The bed was rather lumpy and hard. And we did find remnants of cigarettes in our closet even though it was a non-smoking floor. The coffee maker was less than desirable, a Nespresso brand and only gave you about 4 ounces per cup. Plan on getting your coffee elsewhere in the morning. Everything else in the room seem to be clean and the heating system seem to work OK. For some reason there was a fair amount of noise from the hallways that transmitted into the room. The people at the front desk were more than helpful. We did not necessarily bring up our grievances with them.
Super nice hotel at a great location. Would recommend to anybody who wants to go to a sports event. Also close to all your shopping needs. one of the nicest hotels I stayed in Vancouver. Great views from the rooms as well.
Our train was welcomed by a waving Rocky Mountaineer staff as we entered the station. Busses were lined up ready to take us to our respective hotels at our final and rainy destination of Vancouver. Our bus picked us up and deposited us at the Hotel. We were booked for two nights at the Georgian Court conveniently located near good restaurants, the BC Place Stadium (where a football game was scheduled for the night), Chinatown and Gastown. We made sure our bags were in our room then set off for dinner in Chinatown. The rooms were well appointed and clean. The view was of other high rise buildings so nothing to write home about. Sadly there is not a good concierge service here nor is there a comfortable place to sit and read other than your room. In the lobby we had a rushed feeling of staff not wanting anyone to linger.
Loved loved loved our one night at the Georgian Court. Our room was across from the Stadium and you wouldn't have known it.(but there was nothing on at the time) the bed was comfortable, room was just like the photos. It was an easy walk to shopping on Robson. I would recommend this hotel.
Everything about the Georgian Court Hotel was fantastic, and exceeded expectations. The location, staff, room, and facilities were all perfect for my needs and Frankie's Italian Kitchen and Bar offered a great meal in a friendly atmosphere. I cannot think of a single negative of my stay - except perhaps that it wasn't long enough!
Wonderful hotel. All the amenities we needed. Check in and out were quick and easy. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. We enjoyed that coffee, bottles water and wi-fi were all included in the room price. We had a really nice stay.
Loved our trip. The staff was courteous and the room was great. We stayed NYE to see a cirque show and the fireworks and loved the noon checkout. Room service was good. Our view was of BC place and we enjoyed the changing light show.
We stayed here for New Years Eve and NY Day. The hotel was full but the staff was clam, efficient and service oriented. Didn't rush people as they checked in made everyone feel welcome. The rooms were a bonus! Large with luxurious towels, bedsheets and even Bathrobes. Being downtown, parking generally is an issue. Here it was breeze and the guests had priority parking in the underground. We were able to park and walk to all the grea coffee shops, Restaurants and clubs. Hotel is across from GM place where the Hockey Game was on. We did not eat at the restaurant but Franki's club adjoining the hotel had some nice music and a great party. We even saw NY eve fireworks from our room This is a hidden gem! We will be back.....
We chose the Georgian Court because of its close proximity to Rogers Arena. We were in town for a Canucks game. The walk was easy and it was great to be able to park our car and not worry about it! One of the best parts of our stay was the ease and quickness of in room dining. We actually ordered 3 times! All 3 meals were delicious and came quickly, regardless of it being a busy holiday. Every employee we encountered was on top of their game, serving us with a smile ??. Thanks Georgian Court for making our holiday amazing!
Easy check in, even at 2 AM at Christmas. Great room. Big and exeptional clean. Very big TV with aux input to hook up my laptop. Bed was super comfy. Large amount of power outlets and USB charging ports. Nice rain shower. Free water bottles, coffee and thee was a bonus.
The Georgian court is a very nice hotel! Nice people at front desk, nice updated room with a really good shower and big comfy bed. View of office towers next door but that's okay! As well a very close walk to the good restaurants in yaletown.
The hotel is older but the rooms and lobby area have been renovated recently, featuring a simple, modern elegance. The hallways, however, could use an update, especially the red wallpaper. The location is ideal - walkable to the shopping area of Robson St and Downtown, and walkable to Yaletown, Gastown and Chinatown. It's right across from BC Stadium, so i presume could get noisy and busy during event nights The bed was comfortable - not too soft or too firm Service was polite and friendly
My family stayed at this hotel on Christmas Day. The hotel offered all of the amentities plus some compare to other brand hotels at a fraction of the price. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the shopping district and quality restaurants. The staff was very helpful. Its jacuzzi and steam room made the perfect environment to conclude my day just before going to sleep. I highly recommend this hotel is truly a quality hotel that offers everything that you would need while away from home.
I was looking for good value and used Kayak to compare properties. Georgian Court was not the cheapest, but was well priced given all the positive reviews thought we would give it a try. We weren't disappointed. Located in the Entertainment District" across the street from Rogers arena it's easy to drive to and has secure underground parking for $29 a night. Check in was efficient, although not particularly friendly. You need your key to use the elevator to get to your room. Free Wifi comes with a request to write a TripAdvisor review, which may skew the ratings a bit, I think it's Very Good Value, but not excellent. Recently renovated the rooms are well appointed, but don't have many electrical outlets. The beds are pretty comfy, we had two doubles, but not many places to sit. The shower is large (it probably used to be a small tub) has two shower heads and was very nice. The lobby is tiny, but the wall of fame of the stars that have stayed there over the years is fun to view while waiting for the elevator. I'd stay here again, based on value, but with so many other accommodations nearby, we won't be rushing back here.
The hotel is newly renovated and well appointed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location with many restaurants close by in walking distance as well as shopping and entertainment. Cosy restaurant located in hotel with a great menu.
well located very nice rooms, very good bed, room clean and bathroom brand new. all an all it was a good and pleasant stay, i will recommend for couples, families and business use. easy access to downtown and rogers hockey stadium
Went to Vancouver for a hockey game. Decided to stay here as it's close to the arena and local fare. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and a good size for the price. I will be staying here again the next time I'm up in February. Excellent!
Beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly and informative. Even providing us with an umbrella on a super rainy night. Located in the heart of downtown with so many night time options all within walking distance.
Excellent hotel, well located. Room was clean, comfortable and well appointed and service was fine. I recommend this hotel strongly. Our stay was very comfortable and the location was within walking distance to public transportation.
2 night stay at the Georgian Court to attend a social engagement. Location is great if you are attending a event at either Roger Arena or BC Place. My wife and I were attending an event at Science World and it was a short taxi ride. We found the service excellent and the food was very good. I found the bed quite soft however the room was very nice. Room price was very competitive.
Updated hotel with great staff, restaurant is decent with good service especially the breakfast it was fast. Had an issue with noisy neighbors but that's not the hotels fault, too bad parents don't mind what their kids are up to at 3am.
We really enjoyed are stay ,the staff was great . The Italian restaurant was excellent staff going above and beyond . The rooms were clean and nicely redone I think . Would definetly stay there again on a overnight to Vancouver !
I stay here whenever I'm in the area, and it is consistently excellent. Friendly, helpful staff and clean, modern rooms. Convenient location for BC Place, Rogers Arena and Queen Elizabeth Theatre all within easy walking distance.
We stayed just one night (unfortunately) while we were in Vancouver for the Cirque du Soleil show nearby. The gentleman at the front desk gave us easy directions on how to walk to the venue, and he was correct - it was less than 10 minutes to get there. Our room was on the 12th floor, BC Place stadium side. It was quite likely the cleanest room we've ever had at any hotel. Our room had sufficient table/dresser space, a nice TV, good refrigerator, great coffee/tea maker, complimentary bottles of water, sufficient power and charge outlets, a safe, robes, slippers, a large umbrella, and even a yoga mat. The bed was actually comfortable, and though the pillows were the typical hotel pillows, these ones were not as bad for my neck as I was expecting. The only issue I had was the amount of noise from the hallway...clear voices, banging, etc. However, there was no noise from the rooms on each side of ours, so either they were not occupied or they were better sound-proofed than the door/entranceway. The bathroom was large enough, with considerable counter space and a large, lighted mirror. There was no bathtub, but the gorgeous shower made up for that. It looked pretty new, had a rain shower head, a hand wand, and a dispenser for shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. It was stocked with lots of towels and washcloths, with the typical bar soap and lotion, but also mouthwash, makeup and nail polish remover packets, and a shower cap. And aside from the usual hair dryer, there was also a curling iron and a hair straightener. I can guarantee that we will stay at this hotel again when we come to Vancouver for another overnight trip. We'd be crazy not to!
We did enjoy our stay at the Georgian Court! The staff was very friendly and accommodating! My only complaint was that there wasn't a 'rear view' mirror in the bathroom. Mind you, i didn't ask for one. If I had they probably would have brought one to me with a smile.
Stayed there for one night as part of a longer weekend trip. The hotel has a great location, reasonably close to the Skytrain, right at BC place and there are some pretty good food options and water view close by. They checked us in extra early which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel has 12 floors and we were lucky enough to get a room on the top floor which gave great views of the stadium. The rooms are nice but the lobby and rooms are all a little sterile and anonymous and really doesn't give a good sense of the city or the West coast and doesn't add any character to the hotel. The service overall was friendly and a little more relaxed than on the East Coast. I'd give the hotel a full 5 rating if only it would do a little more to distinguish itself in the lobby or rooms, rather than looking like a sterile (if nice) airport hotel.
We picked the hotel mostly for the location but it certainly met all of our expectations and then some. It was clean, quiet and made for a perfect weekend getaway. I/we would have no problem booking another stay at this hotel.
A very nice property right across from BC Place. Easy walk to Yaletown or to shopping on Robson. Good resturant and reasonably priced. Laminate in the room with no area rug made the room a little less cosy. Toiletries are the shower wall "bulk" style but seem of good quality. If you like bar soap, pack your own or use the hand basin bar. Goss quality coffee maker and complimentary bottled water. A bit noisy due to construction near by ... but thats Vancouver for you.
To say we were gobsmacked when we checked in to this hotel would be an understatement. The hotel was just finishing a re vamp and boy what a first class job they have done. From the foyer to the rooms we were so impressed. Our room had everything and more that you could wish for. From a state of the art coffee machine to umbrella (which unfortunately we did use) dressing gowns and slippers. The bathroom was a delight with Aveda smellies a wonderful huge shower. I told my husband that I would be spending my whole visit to Vancouver in my hotel room. However of course we didn't. The location is very good as well. I would definitely stay here again without a doubt.
The lobby was smaller than I imagined when I booked. However my room was lovely and comfortable and having the restaurant next door helped add to the "missing" lobby. I was lucky to have my room look over the stadium. I'm sure during the spring/summer this must be a to die for view.
Great location!! Easy walk to downtown, Chinatown, Granville Island, Yale Town. Staff very helpful on arrival & thankfully confirmed F150 (standard height) would fit into underground parkade - which was very much appreciated due to wet weather. We had stayed here in the past & used close-by surface lot for truck as staff then were tentative about truck meeting parkade clearance but all was good this time & did not get wet when did need truck to get around!
My wife, newborn, & I booked a room with the request of a crib well in advance of our arrival. I requested a note be made on the booking in hopes the crib would be in the room. While checking in I was asked to notify the front desk if the crib was not in the room, obviously the note was on the booking. When I arrived in the room I was happy to see a clean 1 bedroom room w plenty of space for our family. Unfortunately the crib was not in the room. I phoned the front desk, was placed on hold for a number of minutes, then transferred to House Keeping. The lady who answered the phone was very polite & stated she was unaware of any request for a crib. The crib arrived shortly. It appeared new, clean, & exactly what we needed. It functioned very well for the duration of our visit.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the downtown area of Vancouver. Directly across the street from BC Place. Quietly tucked away. Clean, updated rooms. Friendly, efficient staff. Beds were very comfortable.
I? stayed at this hotel when I? had to unexpectedly stay downtown overnight. The room was beautiful, quiet and the bed comfortable. It had all the things you worry about when unexpectedly sleeping over and have a business meeting the next day. All the little comforts like slippers, both a hair dryer and straightener, face cream, makeup remover, etc., just really made it super convenient. I? would stay there again in a heartbeat.
We had a wonderful stay at the Georgian Court Hotel. This hotel is in a very desirable location on the edge of downtown Vancouver. It is right across the street from the BC Place, a block or so from the new casino and about 3 blocks from Rodgers Stadium. It is also a short walk to the sea wall, which is beautiful place to go for a scenic walk. Although the hotel is in a great location, it is a very quiet place to stay. We found that our room was beautifully decorated and very nice décor. The service at the hotel was also a big PLUS, in our opinion, and we especially have to say that Daniel( the front desk specialist) gave us exceptionally great service!!!!!
I liked the location of the hotel close to Rogers arena, BC place, QE Theatre and the downtown core. Frankies restaurant and bar is great they have live music most days. We ate in the pub area food and service was very good.
We stayed overnight at the Georgian Court before going to Vancouver Island for the weekend. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and has very modern rooms. We were on the 9th floor and could hear almost nothing from the street outside. My only complaint was that the bed was too hard for my liking. This hotel is at the far end of Roberson street away from most of the restaurants and shopping so be prepared to walk a bit if that's what your after. It is however, right beside Rogers Arena so it would be super convenient for events there. The parking is underground and easy to access, and with a height of 6'6 full size trucks fit, but to pay $36.84 for one nights parking is expensive even for Vancouver.
The location and staff make this hotel a perfect place to stay in Vancouver. Located across from BC Place and Rogers Arena as well as a easy walk to the many pubs, bars, restaurants in the area. The room was a great size, clean, modern and provided a great sleep. Highly recommend this hotel.
I booked this hotel in a rush. For two nights, I had paid almost half my normal rent. So you could say I was expecting like princess levels of comfort. What I did get was just okay levels of comfort. The room I was in was facing away from the arena. I was on the “women only” Orchid floor. It was just a regular two bed room. Very clean. Super clean. Wow levels of clean. No bathtub. This seems to be a trend happening in posh hotels though. I'm not a fan of it. I like a good soak. The shower though was nice. Rainfall showhead with optional hand shower. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were in shiny dispensers so you didn't have to fumble around with tiny bottles. All very nice. The hair dyer, straightener and curling wand were also a great addition to the bathroom. The beds were finely made with very soft sheets, blankets and pillows. Firm mattress but your back will be just fine. No issues here. Very lovely. For the coffee lovers, the rooms have Nespresso machines. Fun. But not for me. I wish there was decaf options and some hot chocolate so I could join in the fun. This was a bit of a bummer. Another bummer is the vending machine and ice machine situation. Well, sort of a bummer. Right. Every floor has a machine. One floor will have snacks, one will have pop and one will have ice. Every floor except floor 10, the Orchid floor. So to get a drink and snacks, you have to remember the floors you saw on the little info card in your room that tell you where everything is, and spend some time going up and down the room key operated evevator. It's a little thing but it's annoying when you just want ice or spent all day outside in the rain and just want a cola. The good side of this is that if a machine is out of order, there are other machines. So all in all, things are pretty great. Comfy, clean and stocked with snacks. I was feeling happy and drifting off to sleep my first night when I heard this high pitched squealing noise. I assumed it was the air, so I turned it off and went back to bed. The noise went on. I got up and stood, trying to figure out where the noise was coming from. It went quiet if I took one step to the left but came back if I took a step forward. It was like a cruel children's game! I figured out that the noise was from outside. And despite the windows behind shut and all the heavy shades pulled, the noise was very, very loud. I put my earplugs in (always travel with earplugs when you're in a Vancouver hotel) and went back to bed. This is where I stayed. Awake. Awake and on the verge of tears. The noise was just awful. I made a vow to get my day started early and stay up late the next night so I didn't have to toss and turn in bed for a long time. I basically didn't sleep for two nights. Awful. So I guess I should sum things up. If you need a place to stay that is close to the arena, this is your hotel. The staff is nice, there's in room dining, fast food around the corner, lovely amenities in the rooms and it's safe and so so so clean. If your email just trying to find a hotel in Vancouver for an event that isn't at the arena or if you need a place to stay in general, look around for something cheaper. This hotel is nice but there are cheaper or on par hotels that are closer to the downtown core (granville, burrard...). There's even one that has a soaker bathtub in the rooms. Would I stay here again? If the price was a bit cheaper or I came into some money, absolutely. This hotel has some problems but it's still a lovely gem.
I needed bell hop due to disability--none provided. Restaurant manager disengaged from guests (at least on my part. Key cards were persistent problem with demagnetizing even though I was careful to keep them separate from cell phone.
Walking through the busy bars and restaurants of downtown Vancouver, I finally arrived at the Georgian Court Hotel. Upon entering you get a more relaxed vibe and the friendly faces at the front desk checked me in and welcomed me to the hotel. When I entered my room it was neat, clean and felt luxurious. The cherry on top was definitely the view of Rogers Arena all lit up. And before I could even take my shoes off, I get a knock on the door and the hotel gave us chocolates as a welcome gift. Amazing! Will definitely recommend to friends!
This hotel is across the street from Vancouver's Rogers Arena and BC Place Stadium. On evenings when there is NO game, concert, etc., you can grab a truly beautiful room at an OUTSTANDING price. Rates vary WILDLY depending on what site you book through. The night we stayed, the Best Western website quoted a price of C$238, while reputable 3rd-party sites where offering the same room for about C$150. I'm guessing the prices would be closer together on an event night. Near the elevators in the hotel lobby, you'll see autographed photos of all the celebrities who've stayed here, a testament to their "reviews" of this property. The rooms are finished in faux hardwood instead of carpet. The bathrooms are truly beautiful and feature a rainforest-style overhead shower head, as well as a handheld shower wand. Monogrammed robes also await you in the closet. The beds were INCREDIBLY comfortable. I almost didn't notice when my wife laid down beside me, as the mattress barely moved on my side when she joined me. Parking is C$29 plus tax in a CLEAN & SAFE secured lot below the hotel. You access the hotel lobby from the lot via a bright and clean set of elevators. Don't forget to check out the autographed celebrity photos!
Nicely upgraded hotel with modern room fixtures, flooring, and bathroom amenities. The location ideal for events at BC Place / Rogers and excellent dining in Yaletown. BC Place's crown of jewels, ie lighting is extraordinarily beautiful in the eve.
I haven't checked in yet but there's a crowd of 27 people waiting to get into their rooms in the small lobby. Apparently none of the rooms are ready at 2:49pm and they'll all be suddenly ready at exactly 3pm. Now there will be a huge line up and a lot of folks won't be in their rooms until 4pm. Waste of time! I'm annoyed.
Clean, excellent rooms in an absolutely perfect location for everything Central Vancouver. The hockey arena is a 3 minute walk, Chinatown, Yaletown and Gastown are 10 minute walks. This is a perfect place from which to launch your walks of the city.
Excellent experience from booking, to check-in, to all services, to check-out. Location great for Queen Elizabeth Theatre and Vancouver Playhouse. Reasonable rates. Bonus of having an Italian Restaurant and a Jazz club on the property. Love the 12 noon check-out. Highly recommended.
Stayed here one night on points (promo) and only charge was the parking for $29+tax. Rooms are nice and clean as long as you don't request for a room with a balcony. Those rooms have ashtrays provided on the balcony table, which effectively means that smokers stay in those rooms and their associated doors. This wasn't made clear ahead of time during booking so front desk staff had to make adjustments to provide us with a different room. All in all, a good experience.
The Georgian Court is a beautiful hotel in the Stadium district. The hotel is very modern and the room we stayed in was clean and spacious. Everyone working at the front desk was extremely helpful in recommending attractions, restaurants, nightlife and transportation recommendations.
Very comfortable and pleasant stay. Was there for 6 nights and had absolutely nothing to complain about.Clean rooms very well decorated with a modern flair. Comfortable and lots of lights through the floor to ceiling windows. Especially loved the high end laminated flooring and the large shower stall. All amenities were in perfect order (TV, coffee maker, WIFI, USB charge pods and safe). The 24-hour gym had all the equipment required to maintain your exercise routine. Close to Robson and many restaurants' shopping as well as entertainment options... Definitely somewhere I would consider going back to.
Great stay! Lovely, modern rooms. Excellent location. Service very good. Frankie's Jazz club was a treat! This will be my first choice each time I travel to Vancouver for Work or play. I will be back.
Our two night stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The room was well appointed and furnishings were in near new condition. The bed was quite comfortable, and sheets and pillows were also of high qualtiiy. The bathroom was quite large with modern fixtures, and included a very roomy shower. The TV was of good size, but we did not use it. Wi-Fi worked well, and 2 USB charging ports were located by the desk. Coffee maker was a contemporary single-serve model, with propriatary pods. The coffee provided was okay. Amenities used included the gym -- small but well appointed, with enough equipment to mee most people's needs. One of us used the spa -- nice, but the water could have been a bit hotter. The only negative about our room was that the windows looked directly across to an office building, and the worked could see directly into our room. We had to keep the curtains drawn during the day (and they work on Saturdays). I would NOT stay in that room again. I tried to change rooms, but no similar rooms (two queen beds) were available. Staff was very pleasant. The lobby is very small, and the attached restaurant -- "Frankies" -- is not particularly good, although it's okay for a quick bite or cocktail late at night. So manyh other excellent restaurants nearbay. I strongly recommend the Georgian Court as one of the best possible choices within in price point.
Excellent service, clean rooms, updated decor, and close to every amenity imaginable. We stay here every time there is a concert or event at Rogers Arena or BC Place and the location could not be better. Lots of restaurants close by, can walk everywhere. Parking as usual is expensive at $29 CA per night though.
pleasant one night stay. comfterable beds .Hotel is quiet with Clean bathrooms.Staff helpful and friendly. this Hotel is very close Both Vancouver stadiums and a brand new Casino (parq). Shoping is also nearby
We stayed at the Georgian Court Hotel in late October, having stayed here at least twice before. It has been remodeled some, and our room was great. The shower was FABULOUS! The amenities are nice, nothing over the top, but bathrobes, slippers, umbrella and safe were appreciated. There was a nice refrigerator for our wine and glass wine glasses which were great. Bottled water was complimentary and there was a nice Nespresso for coffee or tea. It Is a good location, near Gastown and Yaletown and across the street from the sports stadium. The lights on the stadium are pretty cool at night. We had underground self parking for $29 (Canadian) per night. There is a restaurant adjoining the lobby. We had breakfast there the last time we visited and it was fine. The reception staff was gracious and helpful, as was everyone there. We had a problem with the safe and someone was there within 5 minutes to correct it. Would absolutely stay there again.
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean & comfortable. I had no issues during my stay. While I didn't spend much time there it was perfectly suited for a relaxing restful night of sleep.
We stay at the Georgian Court whenever we take in a sporting event in Vancouver. Although we missed last year this stay did not disappoint. The renovations are wonderful. Our room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were very pleasant and professional. Jeffrey was excellent. Will stay again
We had hassle at the hotel to make the breakfast part of the deal happen. Everything else was great! It was very quiet at night.... no street noise at all!! We will recommend this hotel to others as soon as they get the B&B sorted out!
Staff were inattentive to guests and sometimes simply rude. Probably just not paid very well - so of poor quality. Restaurant overpriced - probably the worst dry martini I've ever had and expensive with it. Noisy rooms with thin walls - again not ideal.

Great location, very clean. Would have liked it more if room service was available, otherwise, convenient location, room was comfortable and great service. The restaurant downstairs was also very good
Excellent experience! The restaurant is delightful. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. The location is excellent - walking distance to everything. This was like a home away from home. I loved that there was a yoga mat for me to use and the excerise room was great.
The room was very clean, modern and very comfortable and quiet. The room (especially bathroom) was much better than other more expensive hotel rooms i've stayed. Not much interaction with staff other than at check-in but they were friendly and helpful.
This hotel is really stunning. The rooms are modern and spotless. Parking was very easy. They also provided a nespresso machine and hair straightener. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Nice rooms & friendly staff. Front staff were very helpful. When checking out, they called a cab and after a few minutes overheard me mentioning to a friend that I was still waiting for my cab so they took it upon themselves to recall the cab instead of me having to prompt them to call again.
The room we stayed in was very nice and comfortable and had modern amenities like a rain shower in the bathroom. The package we got included parking and a hot breakfast, which was a great deal. One suggestion I would have for the room would be to include a mirror on the wall somewhere in the room (with a table to set things on and outlets to plug in a hairdryer, curling iron, etc.) since multiple ladies sharing one bathroom can be tricky for getting ready. The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel location was very convenient, with walking access to water ferries over to Granville Island and shopping along Robson St. We ate at the hotel restaurant which was good (but I personally think there might have been better choices elsewhere along Robson). Overall, we had a great time at this very nice hotel and I would highly recommend it.
I had time off in Vancouver for the first time yesterday. I stayed at the Georgian Court. It was a great location with spacious rooms and comfy beds. I was able to walk to delicious thai restaurant on the first day, and enjoyed the room service Spaghetti and Meatballs on the second day. Would go back.
Your Excellence that is in choosing dedicated Front Desk Agents which we had the very best and his name was PAULO... The accommodations were superb as he upgraded my Daughter & I to a two bedroom PENTHOUSE suite that was superb comfort as we traveled a full day from Oregon just for a concert in Rogers Arena to enjoy our favorite musicians. Paulo took care of us from the moment we entered hotel entrance. He made a grand first impression which is what matters; also when we left the next day to travel home... He bid us farewell and safe travels. WE WILL return again and spread the good word;) ThankYoueversomuch, Paulo... It was my birthday the day before which you had no idea; and you gave us the best gift anyone could wish for! You Are Fabulous!
Clean and renovated room/bathroom. Heplful staff. Hot tub is nice. I just missed having room service but the restaurante at the lobby is very good. I would stay again, I was there for only one night. Great location
The Georgian Court Hotel is a wonderful, centrally located, extremely safe place to stay. The beds are so comfortable. The rooms quiet. The staff is very polite and helpful. You can walk everywhere and can quickly catch the aqua bus. I highly recommend staying here.
looked unimpressive from the outside but once you step in, you enter into a modern and classy boutique hotel with large room that is tastefully furnished. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was an excellent find too! I will definitely be back.
Location is good, room is good, and the service is good as well. The hotel meets all my expectations to stay in a modern city with all required convenience. I will definately recommend this hotel to my friends.
I stay at the Georgian Court regularly. The location is convenient. The value is excellent The amenities, the room, and most especially the service are always first-rate. I can count on a good sleep and a pleasant stay here.
Good location can walk everywhere, rooms a good size and comfortable bed. Good restaurant and bar attached. Breakfast buffet was good. Service a bit hit and miss at front desk took two attempts to get bags up to room and more information could be offered for first time visitors to the Hotel and the city.
Stayed here last weekend and was blown away with how nice of a hotel it is. We were in town for a concert and this hotel is right around the corner from the venue, nice and close. Would totally stay here again.
Really liked this hotel as I came from Seattle on the train and it was walkable from the train station. Good location as you could always look for the spires of the sports arena and know how to get back to it. They put me in a suite which was so nicely appointed and clean. It was quiet and plush and The shower was fabulous. The staff were accommodating and friendly every time I saw them.... Front desk and maid staff. Great restaurants all within a short walk which is very important as cabs in Vancouver are hard to come by. Close to art museum, shopping and a pretty straight shot to Stanley Park if you don't mind a 30 min walk to get there. Enjoyed my stay and the only con would be the coffee machine in the room. It's perfect for espresso size but if you want a bracing robust large coffee to start your day, then the machine just can't cut it. go to the corner of Robsen and there is a great Mediterranean coffee shop. I'd recommend this hotel if you don't want the typical big brand hotels and you don't want to spring for a true boutique hotel. This is a nice middle ground. I'd come back.
We stayed 3 nights and were impressed with the location, cleanliness and décor of our room. the hotel was handy to the city shops, train and waterfront. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller and they would not be disaapointed.
I had an excellent experience for 4 nights in Vancouver. This hotel was close to the Canada Line coming down from the Airpot. My room was excellent updated and modern. Modern furniture excellent for my business trip with appropriate electronic charging ports beside the bed. Bathrooms were amazing and modern with cieling mounted shower which I could actually stand up. Room was very clean and quite. I was very close to many restaurants and food options. Rooms came with a small refrigerator which was nice to have for my extended stay. They actually provided good complimentary wifi unlike so many other downtown Vancouver hotels. If I had any complaint it was due to the slow elevator service because I got caught with a departing tour group. I liked this hotel very much and will stay again and highly recommend. This was a perfect hotel for my business trip and affordable.
Pros: - Nice quiet rooms, and they have the friendliest and fastest check in and out ever. MCons: - finding the hidden parking lot and the parking lots are too small. Even small cars can't fit if an SUV or larger vehicles are parked in the middle.
Hotel is right across from BC place, easy to get to and has underground parking. It is also a pet friendly hotel for an extra $20 a night. The lobby is nice and is connected to Frankie's Kitchen. The room was really nice, we had two beds, laminate floors, an incredibly shower, nice bathroom fixtures (including rain shower head) also had a safe, closest, coffee maker, fridge and desk. We didn't have a view, but we weren't expecting one especially given where this hotel is located. The bed was super comfy, however the pillows sucked! It was quiet and check out was noon so got to have a sleep in. The only downside was price, not outrageous for Vancouver standards but more than I would like to pay. Would stay again for sure and recommend!
Visited recently a very good clean hotel nothing too much trouble for the staff. Not too far away from the shops and restaurants.Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.Only stayed one night but very pleased with our stay.
Staff lied and mistreated us because we booked with a third party, Hotels.comm. We paid over $350 for a room that was supposed to have a Jacuzzi that did not. After a 200 mile bicycle ride from Seattle (RSVP) we could have really used that. We left after one night and were charge two nights, over $656,. No refund, not receipt.
Liked the hotel, very clean and spacious modern rooms BUT needs a regular coffee maker in the room. Nespresso is nice for folks who drink cappuccino every day I do not. Had to get dressed to go down to the restaurant for my first cup of coffee of the day.Seems like a first world problem, but most folks function better in the morning with a cup of coffee not a shot of espresso.
As a business traveler, I stay in many hotels. I can honestly say this is one of the most beautiful and comfortable rooms I've stayed in. Friendly staff, great room service. Ideal location across from BCE place. Room service was delicious and fast. Room amenities were first rate.
The hotel was amazing: very clean, beautifully decorated, friendly staff and well situated in the city! The Italian restaurant was very goed either! This is definitely the best choice when you stay in Vancouver!
Perfectly settled. The hotel is clean and safe. The staff was super helpful (where to eat, what to visit). The parking lot is also very handy. We had a great time in Vancouver and surely recommend the Georgian Court.
Modern rooms and a great restaurant attached. Ideally located for hop on hop off with stop outside. Very large TV in room but guess it could get noisy on match days as opposite football stadium. Plenty of restaurants near by.
No valet however the hotel parking underground was easy. Check in was great. Prefer more pillow options as these were too soft for my neck and therefore did not sleep well. Stayed in room 803, a/c was a bit noisy. The room was very nice and clean (except for hair clip left in fold out sofa bed) Surprised the remodel didn't spend a little more on the bathroom design. Disappointed in the tiny bathtub. Why not a larger soaking tub or shower only with nicer finishes? Room service did not bring cream for our coffee. The hotel is beautiful and the location is convenient just don't expect amazing views. The restaurant, Frankie's was a huge disappointment. Service was very slow and inattentive, steak was not cooked to specification, unimpressed by bar beverages. Surprised the self check out option could only be done by downloading their app. All in all it is an above average hotel.
Not worth the $369.00 US, there are other hotels closer to the Pier with better prices and better reviews. Look elsewhere. Front desk, harried at best, needs more bellman at certain times of day. Clean. Restaurant next door, good not great.
This hotel was in a central position for us when we stayed in Vancouver for 2 nights before joining our cruise ship. It was curry clean and comfortable. Rooms were large with all the usual, amenities and staff were friendly and helpful.
Great updated room, friendly staff. Parking available in a garage just under the hotel, which was nice. Within walking distance to restaurants in Yaletown, which was a plus. Would definitely stay here again.
The Georgian is a wonderful hotel both in its facilities and its location. The location in Beatty Street is within easy walking distances to most of the central city of Vancouver. Walk to Stanly Park for instance is a leisurely 50 minute walk along Robson Street. Then from the Hotel walk to Gastown, Chinatown etc. There are also many restaurants from small, VietSub, to Highly rated dinning. Then off course the two stadiums are across the road for ice hockey and football. The Hotel has been recently refurbished and has been done very well. There is also a free shuttle service to downtown and the raise Terminal etc which was an added bonus. Very much recommended
Daughter was being moved into UBC residence and needed a one night stay before leaving to recuperate from the days activities. Expedia recommended this hotel with a good discount package. What we found was a great location especially if you would like to attend a concert at BC Place or Rogers Arena as both are literally a block away. In fact the night before on Sept. 1, 2017 a "Guns and Roses" concert was being held at BC Place. As we were tired we decided to eat in the evening of Sept. 2, 2017 and the onsite restaurant "Frankie's" was available. We arrived after cleaning up at about 5:30 PM and the restaurant was not busy yet. We had great service from the staff and the food was delicious. The next morning however for breakfast the restaurant seemed to be short staffed and table seating took a long time. Not sure if this was due to the labour day weekend or not but some people were a bit impatient waiting. Check-in and Check-out was fast and efficient. There is parking under the hotel for a nominal fee. Just don't bring a large vehicle. We had a Dodge Ram Crew Cab 3/4 ton pickup (due to the UBC move) and the extended length with the eight foot box made parking a challenge but on the second level there was enough space to back into a spot easily. Note that even though the height of the ceiling was reported to be 6'10" in the lowest level of P2 the pipe works were a bit lower and we scratched the top of the back cover of the box cab. Any normal vehicle would not be a problem though. There are lots of eateries only a short walk from the hotel also but for convenience we ate in the hotel and went for a 45 minute walk around the area afterwards. The staff was professional and helpful. I recommend the lasagna for dinner.
Upgraded to a suite. Good amenities at a reasonable price for the area. Close to many restaurants. Everything is nearby and within walking distance of the hotel. There is no airport transport by the hotel and it is about a 30minute taxi ride from the airport.
I recently stayed and the Georgian Court and it was perfect. The hotel decor is beautiful and the staff was incredibly helpful during our stay. It put us in the perfect location to walk to all of the activities that we had planned for the weekend. I would definitely stay here again.
We begin our trip hère, the location was excellent as well as the services!. Enjoyed an excellent meal at Frankie's (on site). A great pre cursor of things to come. We definitely recommend this hotel!!!!
Nothing to fault here and would book again. Staff were courteous and helpful, The room and bathroom were in faultless condition. The bed was the most comfortable we had slept in for three weeks of travelling. Thanks Georgian Court.
Can't say enough about this place. Arrived morning for a 3pm checkin. Feeling unwell. They immediately changed our room number so we could go straight up. Room immaculate, clean, big with in room temp. control. 2 large beds which were very comfortable. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay again.
We stayed here on our arrival from Australia to Canada. All the staff we came into contact with were very helpful and friendly. The facilities and rooms are lovely, with very comfortable beds - perfect after days of sight-seeing. Thanks to all for a lovely stay.
I booked a standard room with a king bed for 9 nights through Orbitz. I received a complimentary bottle of wine and some chocolates. The 11th floor room was really spacious and had a nice view looking out at BC Place. The room's interior design was white, black, and grey. The window had nice curtains to make the room completely dark at night. The bed was nice with 4 soft pillows. The bathroom was great. I enjoyed the light up mirror. Also the shower came with a combination rainfall shower head / wand. It had a nice mini-fridge. I appreciate that they are eco-friendly and let me reuse my towels. The people at the front desk were very friendly. The location is great because it's between Robson and Georgia. There were many places to shop and eat near the hotel. The City Centre train station was only a few blocks away.
This hotel was simply awesome! I picked it because of the location. Close to everything, BC place, shopping and great restaurants. Cleanliness was high and service was amazing. Big thanks to Paulo at the front desk who helped us navigate the city! The free shuttle service was unexpected and fantastic. Great experience at this hotel.
The Georgian Court as a Best Western is fantastic. The staff is helpful and accommodating, the restaurant (Frankie's Italian Kitchen) is very good for dinner (didn't have breakfast so can't offer a review). Rates are very high but that's Vancouver in a busy cruise season...
Would rate this hotel as all 5 stars for amenities, room size, cleanliness, helpful friendly staff, close to the sites. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Very impressed and one of the best hotels we've stayed with.
This hotel is located in a great walking location to many attractions. In addition, the hop-on/hop-off tour bus has a stop around the corner......easy access! It is right across from the stadium. There are lots of great restaurants nearby including one right at the hotel. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. No real views, but the rooms are nice.
My room was looking at the stadium, so if you are going to a football or soccer game, you won't get closer. The hockey arena is about a block away. Rooms, amenities, service, and restaurant are all top notch. There is also a 7 11 about 2 blocks away for sundries, and several restaurants within easy walking distance.
Have stayed here numerous times for business. Rooms are always clean and look new. Staff is friendly and helpful. Frankie's restaurant is attached. Good breakfast. Close to stadium and most downtown areas.
I really enjoyed my stay here. It was a mix of work and play but the location was convenient as it is located directly across from BC place and very accessible to shopping and restaurants. My husband stays here a lot for work. The rooms were updated nicely with a lot of room. Very clean with comfy beds. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Georgian Court Hotel is an excellent choice. So clean and comfortable. The beds were so comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Service was excellent and food was great. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone. I'd come back and stay there.
Good location to Yaletown and Gastown only short walks away. Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds and nice ammenities. The furnishings are tasteful and the room was clean and well appointed. I can recommend this hotel.
We stayed at the Georgian Court having spent 5 nights at Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler (highly recommended. Go look it up). Whilst this hotel was nice and functional and communal areas very clean, we felt it had a more business-like feel than we would have liked. Things we liked: 1) Location - close enough to access the main streets and tourist attractions within a 5-10 minute walk without being right in the middle of things. 2) Room was spacious with a really big bed. 3) Free wifi with good connection. 4) Frankie's restaurant. Good food and service. Try the cheesecake. It's delectable. Things we didn't like: 1) Floor was dusty like it hadn't been hoovered in weeks. I had to dust off my feet just from walking to the bathroom and back. 2) The room had a monochrome design but most of the walls were grey which was cold and not very inviting for our honeymoon stay. 3) Nespresso machine was a nice touch but there was not what we'd consider to be 'normal' tea or coffee. The pods provided were disgusting. We went to the local supermarket (IGA on Robson Street - a little gem if you need anything!) to buy our own coffee and just used the machine for hot water. 3) Noise - not at all noise proof from passersby in the corridor. We were woken twice, once late at night and once early in the morning, from people walking past. We could hear everything. This hotel needs a more strict noise policy i.e. 'please respect the sleep of other guests between the hours of 11 & 6' (as is operated at other hotels in BC). Our room faced the front of the hotel and we also heard a lot of road noise, so much so that we thought the window was open. 4) We were left chocolates in our room TWICE for the wrong people. We found this somewhat insulting since we booked this for our honeymoon and yet we never received a box of chocolates in our own name. As travelers, we are quite easily pleased and not the kind to complain so we just got on with things. I probably wouldn't stay here again knowing what I know now about the noise and that there are other good hotel options very close by (i.e. the Hampton Inn by Hilton less than 1 minute away).
Good location for sporting events, literally across the street from BC Place Stadium, and to access nearby stores and restaurants. Only about 5+ minutes to walk to TNT and HMart supermarkets (which we like to check out), Public Library, Granville Street, Robinson Street and so forth. If you plan to walk to the seawall you would need more like 15 or 20 minutes. For that, it's great. The hotel check-in staff seemed only somewhat friendly when I first checked-in, but later I met Paulo who was quite friendly and provided good service. And when I called house keeping and front desk for certain things, they were quick and helpful as well. Our room was clean and modern, a bit small and lacking in character for a boutique hotel, but comfortable beds and nice bathroom, just nothing to write home about. The lobby is nice, but small and nothing overly special either. I was really expecting more grandeur from the hotel's advertising which was "Luxury Hotel Downtown Vancouver" Another inconvenient issue was that the elevators are not very user friendly. Twice we had to get our keys re-keyed, and it's the kind of elevator that you have to slide your card key in for it to work, but often it starts moving before you can get it to work. At least two times I was in the elevator with a stranger who was stuck going up and down trying to get to their floor. That being said, we still had a pleasant stay, the staff were friendly but not luxury level service, the room was nice, location was good, just not as luxurious as you might think and the value fell below expectations.
I won't let one front desk guy wreck the fact that the rooms were clean and very nice. The location convenient to Aquabus (only a 5-10 minute walk), decent restaurants nearby including a decent one in the hotel that had a pretty good buffet breakfast. It was a little weird that vending was only available on alternating floors and the lobby had the potential to be a bit crowded. We were here as part of a Rocky Mountaineer tour and I would stay at this hotel again. About 10-15 minutes to walk to Gastown (although I wouldn't necessarily do that in the late night), and right across the street from BC Place!
We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel. It was claen and comfortable and well situated for getting to the waterfront, Gastown and Yaletown for eating. We were able to walk the waterfront path to Stanley Park.
We stayed here at the end of August and had a good stay. The only thing I would recommend is that they ensure during check-in around 4pm that they have more staff working. When we arrive there was only 1 person checking people in and they had 2 other computers available. There were about 10 people waiting to check in. Eventually another staff member began checking people in but it was quite a long wait in a very crowded lobby. That said our room was great and good location.
it was nice but I have no idea why it cost 450 dollars this time when the last time I paid around 200 . They should keep the prices at least close250 more is to much other than that it was good but I don't like the surprise in prices
I stayed here for my friend's stag which happened to be on the same weekend as a major sporting event. The price of this hotel was outrageous but keep in mind that the city was pretty booked. The lobby is not much better than a Holiday Inn. The building is at that awkward age where it isn't yet charming and yet it is far from new. The rooms are very simple. Bed, flat screen, generic art purchased in bulk and a standard washroom. The location is fantastic if you are watching a concert or sporting event. It is this hotel's primary redeeming feature hands down. Overall I would say that you could get the same level of quality at a fraction of the cost and if you are looking to splurge and pay what this hotel demands you can get a lot better than what this hotel offers. Decent stay, but not great value.
A nice surprise booked in Hotwire, I enjoyed visiting a hotel that was new to me. Staff were outstanding. Little glitches like room key suddenly not working were met by a delightful front desk man accompanying me up to check and let me in. The attached restaurant was superb, for any time of the day of night. Yum! The gym was excellent, the equipment was exactly what I needed and the workout space was ample and comfortable. My fave things were the yoga mat in the room and the hairspray!
Great place to stay. I stay there on business, very nice rooms, great front desk, very nice staff. Georgian Court is close to the business area, close to the stadium Skytrain station or easy walk from the Yaletown station when flying into Van and Skytrain to the hotel
The rooms were excellent. Service was great. Contemporary accommodations with comfortable touch. Ice and vending a little out of the way on every other floor. We had balcony which was an unexpected pleasure.
We stayed here for 3 nights and pleased we did. Doesn't look anything special as you enter the reception area, but received a warm welcome and all staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The room was lovely, well appointed, clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast wasn't included and wasn't the best anyway, so on 2 of our mornings, we went out for breakfast, plenty of choice within a short distance walk. We would be happy to stay here again when visiting Vancouver.
We stayed for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it! We mentioned we were on our honeymoon and the staff made sure we had a lovely corner suite facing the front of the hotel. Ok you'll not get a view of the harbour but the arena looked nice when lite up at night. Great location to explore downtown Vancouver and the waters edge around False Creek. Breakfast in the restaurant was always spot on, worth going for the buffet if you've a good appetite! Never got to eat an evening meal in the restaurant but it was always busy as was the bar attached. They tend to play live jazz at night, which wasn't our thing and also be warned, there was as a $15 cover charge when a bands on. Take a good look at the website pics as unlike other hotels, it does reflect what you'll get. It's not the cheapest hotel available but it's good quality and overall, we were glad to have chosen this hotel and would stay again.
Nice hotel in the center of town. Close to the historic Gas Town, China Town and the sea wall for scenic walks. Great food nearby. The rooms were quiet, clean, and well appointed. Helpful staff. The timber floors in the room rather than carpet meant that sometimes you could hear other guests roll in their luggage in the wee small hours - only negative we experienced.
Centrally situated with modern bedrooms which are functional and comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms are bright and well furnished. There is no lounge area other than a few seats in the foyer. The concierge is very helpful and knowledgable. Staff are generally pleasant and helpful. The hotel's adjoining restaurant, Frankie's serves an adequate but not luxurious breakfast buffet but at a reasonable price. Dinner though (Italian food) was really very good.
Stayed here before joining an Alaska cruise. Great hotel. Big bedroom. Superbly equipped bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff and well located for seeing the city. Room on 12th floor rear overlooking lower buildings so some external noise from a/c equipment was only fault
Very nice hotel. Easy walking distance to many restaurants and the BC stadium is just across the street. There is Jazz in the bar/restaurant but we did not eat there. The food from the restaurant we got from room service was excellent.
The room was comfortable and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is on the lower third of Robson Street with many restaurants of all kinds within easy walking distance. The only negative comment is that the elevators were wonky, but not so bad it was annoying.
We couldn't have been looked after any better. The Front of House staff were exceptional and very accommodating in our request to change bedding configuration. Very spacious room and excellent amenities. We would have loved to stay there on our return to Vancouver but the Hotel is fully booked! That in itself is a great indication of an exceptional Hotel.
My husband and I spent our last night in beautiful Vancouver in this gorgeous hotel. The room was absolutely lovely with state of the art bathroom. The staff are so friendly. This hotel is in a great location - walking distance to Gastown & Yaletown. We would definitely stay here again.
There was a lovely restaurant next door with friendly, helpful service and great variety for breakfast. The room was Clean and spacious. The hotel was well located, easy walking distance to many city attractions.
Very nice hotel, comfortable bed, lovely ambience. Very close to concert venues and water taxi, walkable distance from Pacific Central Railway. In the heart of the restaurant area; an easy walk to Gastown.
The Hotel was very clean and spacious, the breakfast was excellent and had a good choice. The rooms were, very, nice and we would highly recommend staying there. The hotel was very well located to site see around the city, we could walk to everything we visited in the area before catching our cruise ship.
This hotel is strategically tucked in a great location in Vancourver - close to the arena, shops, restaurants and sights. The staff is professional and helpful. The rooms are very inviting; some have private decks looking towards the arena. It was so nice, it will be our "go to" the next time we visit Vancouver.
Really loved how friendly the staff were and how helpful they were with directions. This is a clean and modern hotel which suits the budget conscious traveller. It is situated close to the ferries which go to Grenville Island and is a short walk from the end of Robson street.
Nice, clean and friendly hotel with comfortable distance to downtown Vancouver and walking distance to Gastown, Chinatown and Canada Place. Nice balkony with a view to BC stadium. High quality bed and bathroom and free coffee in the room. We enjoyed our visit at the Georgian.
I stayed just for 1 night in this hotel and I was lucky to have a free upgrade of my room to a suit. It was very nice, clean and well furnished. The first hotel that I've seen having the hair-straightener and hair-curler in addition to blow dryer! The bed was very comfortable. Location is good and just in walking distance to Vancouver look out, Pacific shopping centre and .... There is a very nice Italian restaurant next to the hotel.
Beautiful hotel rooms, with nice additional touches (like free coffee/tea/water, yoga mat in room). The location is pretty good, with a short walk to the city center. We were worried about noise and traffic due to a sporting event at the stadium across the street, but there was no problem at all.
This was a Reader's Offers Trip to Alaska. The Georgian Court Hotel was the selected start off point in Vancouver. The hotel is very well organised and run by an extremely friendly and helpful team of staff. My wife (who is disabled) found little problems couping with the amenities. We had a very enjoyable overnight stay at this pleasant location
This hotel is located close to the Skyline train and next to Frankie's Italian restaurant- delicious food! Also opposite to Stadium. No downstairs accessible toilets was a drawback as check in was at 11am and rooms normally not available until 3pm!!
we stayed here 3 nights from June 16 trough Monday, June 19, 2017 as part of our Rocky Mountaineer trip. We had a "suite" with a separate living area, 2 tv's, table with 4 chairs. Others in our group had "regular rooms" (2 queen beds, no separate sitting area). We suspect it was due to our staying for 3 nights instead of 1 or 2 nights. We were able to get a load of wash/dry completed. The Georgian Court has a deal with the Hampton Inn next door to use their waters and dryers. No problem - worked well. Hotel is walking distance of downtown Vancouver and many restaurants. We'd stay there again without having it booked through a tour. Frankie's restaurant next door is good (see separate review) Great stay!
Great service meals excellent value close to downtown and or bus stops. Advice have coin change for catching buses as this is all that is accepted no notes learnt the hard way but friendly driver. Easy walk to china town as well
This hotel was designed with the traveler in mind. Everything was well thought out. Bed was very comfortable. Lighting was excellent whether in bathroom or at desk. Had several outlets and power strips for charging. Lots of storage and shelving for personal items. Rain and handheld shower in bathroom, also had hair dryer, curling iron and flat iron. Restaurant was wonderful. Highly recommend.
This is a comfortable hotel on the edge of Downtown with some great places for breakfast and to eat within easy walking distance. The in-house restaurant is a franchise and frankly a bit disappointing so we had breakfast out every day in more authentic Canadian diners. Staff are friendly and while there is nothing especially memorable about the place one is clearly in safe hands as far as ensuring a stress-free stay is concerned.
I stayed at the Georgian Court Hotel and I was quite pleased with the hotel accommodations. It was nicely decorated. The bed was quite comfortable. It's a smaller hotel but it is a comfortable hotel. I wish my view wasn't of BC Place-stadium. All around nice hotel with a great location.
My husband and I stayed here as part of a Rocky Mountaineer package. The hotel was clean, quiet and well-appointed. We had breakfast included. Choices were reasonable and tasty. We enjoyed the ability to walk easily and with a sense of safety to the waterfront and Gastown.
The hotel is friendly, clean, good location especially considering Vancouver's transportation which allowed us to see all of the highlights of the city and the room was spacious and comfortable. Vancouver is a beautiful city to visit with many attractions for all. The people are nice and engaging.
My wife is the one who stays at the Georgian Court; I am lucky enough to be a spouse and stay in that role. The best thing about this smallish boutique hotel is the staff. So welcoming and always accommodating. The front desk is amazing and I know Paul is my wife's personal favourite. If you want style, comfort and a connection, this is the place for you.
Got a free upgrade to a penthouse suit on the 12th floor! This is without doubt the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Everything looked brand new and sparkling, and everything worked including the free wi-fi. We are back to the hotel again to stay two nights in a few days time. Can't wait! Excellent service from the staff, ad a lovely place to stay!
Small but comfy and clean hotel, and employees here provide really good service. During check-in, they suggested places nearby for me to go and explain dangerous roads that I shouldn't walk on. This was important because I was new to the place and I would not have knew these if it weren't for the staff at the hotel. Furthermore, during check-out, the staff took the effort to go out to help us hail a taxi while asking us to stay inside. Location was also very convenient. Walking distance to Gastown/ Chinatown/ Downtown/ Yaletown (Yup, basically everywhere)
The Georgian Court is a great value and an ideal place to stay. It is directly across the street from the stadium and conveniently located to just about everything. Although the lobby is small and unassuming, the rooms are quite large and comfortable. They provide robes, slippers and lovely toiletries.we enjoyed our time spent there.
On average very good. Within walking distance of main shops etc.Did a fair bit of walking around Vancouver over the 3 days we were there and found the hotel to be very central. It was close to restuarants and shops and local sights. Hop-on-hop-off tours pass very near if you are interested.
I was very impressed with how clean and new the room was (not sure if all rooms are like that in this hotel). I love hotel with wood floor makes it look so much cleaner than carpet. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom is nice size and great shower. I couldn't believe they have an yoga mat in the room! That's so thoughtful! I would definitely come back to stay at this hotel. Also, there is no charge for parking in this hotel which is rare for downtown Vancouver location. This hotel is walking distance to everything. I love it!
Stayed at this hotel for three nights while in Vancouver on business. Service was first rate in every way. they even supplied an umbrella. Only had one meal - breakfast - at the adjoining hotel, which was only mediocre, but that did not take away from the whole hotel experience. Would definitely stay there again.
The place made us very welcome and the staff did everything to allow us to be totally impressed. Clean rooms and business centre as well as free Wi-Fi in all the rooms. You have win our vote Georgian Court.
Wonderful place to stay! The room was huge, beautiful and very clean. The modern decor and wooden floors were wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Service was quick which was great. Would certainly recommend!
We had a great deal for this hotel as Downtown Vancouver can be quite expensive! The rooms are nice size, great furniture. Nice bathroom (beautifully renovated) except mine has a smoke smell that lingers which bothers me. Hotel staff is very friendly. Parking and wifi is included. We walk to all our meetings in downtown. My room faces BC Place stadium so not much of a view. However, it's very quiet even on lower levels (5th floor) so good for sleeping. With the price we are paying (through expedia), it's perfect.
We recently visited Vancouver for 4 days of leisure and chose the Georgian Court for our return stay for the great location which was so handy for us to use our bikes. They do also have a small fleet of loaner bikes but we enjoy having our own. The hotel is about a two block ride to the seashore trails that will take you to Science World, Granville Street Market, Stanley Park and the beaches. I think the outstanding takeaway from a stay here is the impression that the staff truly do want to do everything they can to make your stay a fantastic experience. The rooms appear to be recently renovated providing the details we look for. Excellent free use of the gym and huge whirlpool. Fit this place into your next Vancouver stay and you will not at all be disappointed.
We stayed here after an alaskan cruise before heading back home. It is a beautiful and well located hotel. About a 20 minute walk to canada place, 15 minute walk to gastown, about 5 minutes walk to the city center skytrain stop which you can take back to the airport. The hop on off buses and the free capilano shuttle both have stops two blocks from the hotel. very convenient. The hotel and our room itself were very pretty, clean and well kept. The room had a coffee pot with coffee and tea, 2 bottles of water a day, in room safe, slippers, robes, yoga mat and umbrella. They apparently also had bicycles to lend out but we didnt use of them. They had a small fitness room and hot tub, but didnt get a chance to use either. We were arriving off a cruise so we called early in the morning to see if we could do early check in. We were told if there was a room available, it wouldnt be a problem. We arrived a little before 11, tired and ready for a shower after the walk from canada place, and yay! a nice room was ready for us. So pleased and thankful for that. Of course, being downtown Vancouver, the place is pricey, but it was worth it to be in a good location in easy access to different sites and a decent neighborhood.
Stayed here for one night prior to Alaskan cruise. Rooms very comfortable with large bed, excellent double shower and plenty of room. Good central location. Very nice breakfast with lots of choices. Smashing place!
Excellent small Hotel with a great attitude. Rooms really comfortable. Restaurant and bar are great. Check in staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. It is very well position in the City and right next door to Rogers Arena and BC Place. 10 out of 10.
The hotel is high quality, clean and the rooms have just been reno'd. The staff are always friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The location can't be beat in Downtown Vancouver. Across the street from BC Place, a block from Rogers Arena and at the bottom end of Robson St.
My husband and I stayed here for one night after the Tim McGraw and Faith Hill concert. What a wonderful hotel. The room was beautiful! We loved the shower and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And you couldn't get much closer to Rogers Arena or BC Place. Our only complaint was that Frankie's closed at 11 and we were hungry after the concert (ended about 10:40) so we had to walk down the street to find food but that's not the hotel's fault. All in all it is a great hotel and we would definitely consider staying here again.
We found the accomodation excellent. Comfortable beds, superior en suite, and very clean. Having had no time to make dinner reservations the staff still fitted us in and were efficient and courteous. I would be happy to recommend this hotel.
Hotel was perfectly located to my business so I thought it would be a good choice. On previous trips up here I'd stayed next door at the Hampton Court, but a room there was unavailable. Two major issues with this hotel: 1. the bed was painfully uncomfortable. like serious backache uncomfortable. 2. clearly the property has recently been renovated. rooms look well appointed but they recently swapped the carpet out for laminate flooring. the flooring looks swell but they didn't consider how the desk chair would work. they did not change the casters on the chair and every time I sat down I was taking my life into my hands. I realized this was the problem after the first time I sat down, but even when sitting you cannot move even slightly or you'll go careening across the room. I mentioned this to the desk clerk to gave me a blank stare. Shower was good and the room-supplied blow dryer was better than average. Still, not interested in staying in this property again, mostly because my back may never forgive me for sleeping in their beds. Oh, and their TV remotes do not have sleep timers. This may seem silly, but it's an issue for me.
The Georgian Court Hotel was a great place to stay. They were very helpful, friendly and made for an enjoyable 2 days in Vancouver. The staff made sure we were well taken care of. We also enjoyed dinner in the Italian restaurant on site.
We checked in after a cruise and stayed from lunchtime one day until our flight at 20.55 the next evening. We were upgraded to a suite on the eleventh floor. Fantastic room, with tasteful grey tone decoration to sitting/dining roo, with separate bedroom and shower room with shower tge size of a bath. Really lovely stay, with so many little extras including hair dryer, tongs and hair curler - plys the usual shampoo, conditioner but also body lotion, nail varnish remover tissue, mouth wash, bath hat and with irining board and iron. Good wardrobe space, great mirror over shower room basin (outside shower room within area between bedroom and shower room. Friendly, professionally run feeling to the hotel - and brilliant weather too. Highly recommended.
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during my Rocky Mountaineer vacation in Canada. The hotel staff is very nice and attentive....The guest room had a very pleasant and comfortable decor, beds very comfortable, the bathroom's shower is really nice, room is very roomy with a large size television. The hotel is located around the corner from Robson Street which houses lots of eating places and other shops/stores. The hotel has an Italian Restaurant - Frankie's...menu contains lots of delicious choices. I highly recommend this hotel, I prefer this hotel versus staying at a chain/branded hotel.
I travel to Vancouver often for work and pleasure. I have never stayed at the Georgian Court before. I must say i was very impressed by this hotel. It was clean, modern and updated. The location is excellent, right across the street from BC Place. The area is very safe and full of fantastic restaurants. The service was top notch and the room rate was reasonable relative to being in downtown Vancouver. Overall an excellent hotel.
We had a two night stay at this hotel in mid-May 2017 as the start to our train trip into the Canadian Rockies. This was a very nice hotel with a convenient location and easy walking distances (5- 10 minutes) to most of the downtown Vancouver sites and restaurants that we wanted to visit. The service was excellent and the staff was helpful and courteous. The room was clean and spacious. It is located extremely close to the city's main sport venues. The coordination with the Rocky Mountaineer program for both pickup and baggage delivery was smooth and seamless for us and made our travel easy and painless. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel if you plan to visit this wonderful city. If we return to Vancouver we would certainly consider another stay at the Georgian Court Hotel.
Coach tour, one night in hotel before boarding the Vollandam. Excellent hotel, loved the coffee machine. The bathroom was luxurious too. Excellent position, easy access to breakfast alternatives. Pity we didn't have time to see a game in one of the stadiums.
The room was clean and in a good location downtown, if you like to walk everywhere like we do. There were a lot of restaurants and coffee shops all around us. Only thing that would have made it nicer was if they added a complimentary breakfast so we didn't have to go out looking for something to eat in the morning.
Stayed at the Georgian Court Hotel while visiting Vancouver to attend the John Mayer concert in April. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were treated with respect and attentiveness from all the staff. The rooms have been renovated and updated to provide a bright and airy space. Very pleasant hotel to stay at. Location is fabulous being close to the stadium, Rogers arena, Yaletown, etc. The hotel restaurant/bar is a great choice and so convenient being located right inside the hotel. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
Excellent hotel close to Robson Street-bit of a trek to Stanley Park but worth it ! The Vancouver FC stadium is right opposite and includes the hall of fame. Shame Bono and U2 were practising for their upcoming concert !
The room is very nice and very clean. The staff are very helpful, and the restaurant has great food at a fair price. The location is convenient for a lot a things. There is no view. I would stay there again.
Stayed a few nights at the Georgian Court. Staff cordial and cooperative. Room completely renovated. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. For us the location could not have been better. Close to the Opera, walking routes, hundreds of restaurants and BC place stadium.
I spent 3 night at the above hotel earlier this month. My room was huge and had everything that I needed. The service from the people at the front desk was great and very accommodating. I could not fault them
My stay was very enjoyable. Close to many restaurants. 10 minute walk to pacific Centre. Clean modern room. Bathrobe slippers coffee bottled water and yoga mat. Friendly staff. I got to hear u2 practicing for world tour out my window.
I stayed at the Georgian court after being on a cruise before boarding Rocky Mountaineer. The rooms were beautifully furnished and extremely spacious. The bathroom had an amazing rain shower. All public areas were tastefully decorated.
Great hotel to match a great city. Visited from England. Found staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel was nice and clean. A good location to downtown and Fools Creek leading to Granville Island. Would use hotel again if we get chance to visit Vancouver in the future.
Well what can I say. There wasa funny aroma eminating from somewhere in the room, that was, very pungent but strange. After some investgation, by pulling the beds from the wall ,an offending item was found. A partly smoked joint. In a Non Smoking room. The wait staff that were on duty in Frankies on the Saturday breakfast service 06 May were very alusive, to the point of avoiding customers with the breakfast vouchers and providing more attention to the walk in customers. ( Maybe the staff get more tips from walk in's).

A great hotel nicely situated for the sports stadiums and easy walk to the cruise terminal and shops/restaurants etc .Adjoining restaurant offers plenty of breakfast selections and main meals throughout the day.Staff very helpful with advice on trips and helping to arrange more difficult trips!
This was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in at a reasonable price. The rooms were amazing. They have hardwood throughout the rooms which makes them so clean. The amenities are of good quality and environmentally friendly. The front desk staff and the room staff were second to none. We only enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant and it was delicious.Enjoy your stay in this excellent establishment.
My husband and I are very happy to have stayed at the Georgian Court Hotel in Vancouver. Beautiful, clean and modern. Excellent location. The personnel was attentive and helpful in giving us information that we required. Next door to the hotel is Frankie's Italian Restaurant. The food is delicious. We had breakfast and dinner there.
Beautiful and clean rooms! Very friendly personnel who made you feel really at home. Amenities made you feel like you were in a six star hotel in Europe or some place abroad. Nothing was missed. The bedding was so soft and clean!
My fiancé and I find the location of the Georgian Court very convenient to downtown Vancouver but also fairly private and quiet. It's not on a busy busy street unless there is a game in the city. In room dining is awesome and rooms are consistently always clean.
We have recently stayed at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were spacious and modern. The bathroom was spacious an stocked with everything you could need. Would definitely stay there again.
Starting with the reservation manager Mr Walaf, a very pleasant gentleman and delightful to talk to him. Every one at the front desk has a smile and quick to respond to questions and willing to carry a small talk. Also, the Bellmans very nice young men. The room, more like a suite, super clean! All furnishers looked new with a great espresso machine, fluffy pillows, soft towels, great windows, lots of natural light. The room service from the restaurant was great too. They went all the way to accommodate my allergies regarding to the food or possible cross contamination and the food was delicious and well presented. The only negative, it was the lack of temporary parking on front of the hotel due to city restrictions.
I travel frequently for business mainly at larger brand properties yet Georgian Court Hotel is where client service is a priority- a service I thought was lost!! When a hotel goes beyond the norm it's worth noting! First, the management is exceptional. Mohamed Walaf went beyond to ensure my family's stay was amazing! My parents could not stop raving regarding this hotel. The restaurant staff and chef made special accommodations regarding my moms food allergies. This property prides itself with a pristine appearance and beautiful newly remodeled accommodations. The location is perfect to walk to all the city attractions. This will be our go to hotel when we stay in Vancouver.
My stay was for business and this review is primarily for the room itself and not for any adjoining facilities such as bars and restaurants. Front desk service was friendly and staff seemed professional and courteous. There are only two guest elevators and they are not quick. My room had two double beds, both of which had only high-profile pillows that gave me a neck ache the first night (I used a folded bath towel as a pillow for the second night). Unbeknownst to me, the in-room refrigerator was set on max causing my three soft drinks to freeze and explode during the first night. I defrosted the fridge and cleaned up the mess the following morning before heading off to work. The desk is good-sized but does not have any electrical outlets handy for laptop, phone, etc. I had to crawl under the desk and move it a few inches away from the wall to access an outlet. Same for the night stand between the beds. Not having convenient access to electrical power for the desk or night stand is a serious deficiency, imo, especially for business travelers. Uncomfortable pillows, lack of power and unexpectedly frozen soft drinks. Otherwise, the room itself was fine. This hotel would not be my first choice for another business stay but the location near Rogers Arena was very convenient for me on this particular trip.
Stayed here for 4 nights in April, while in Vancouver for business. The Georgian Court Hotel is perfectly situated downtown, within short walking distance of popular destinations like Yaletown, Robson Street and Gastown. B.C. Place and the Rogers Arena are across the street. I was very happy with my stay at the Georgian Court Hotel. My room was spacious and had a bright and airy feeling. Even though this hotel is located in a busy area, my room was very quiet. The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable. The rain shower was awesome, with just the right amount of water pressure. I also appreciated the fluffy bath towels. I stayed on the Orchid Floor. The hotel's website promises "upgraded Aveda products" for guests staying on the Orchid Floor. The promised "upgraded Aveda products" were nowhere in sight for the duration of my stay. Instead, Beekman 1802 shampoo, conditioner and bath gel were provided from a wall dispenser in the shower. There was also Beekman 1802 hand soap and small vials of body lotion - but no Aveda products. The Beekman 1802 amenities were just fine, just not the Aveda products as advertised. This was slightly disappointing, but overall, I really enjoyed my visit here.
Beautiful rooms, can tell they're recently renovated. Very clean, fantastic shower, great linens. Pillows a bit large and bulky, with no options, and beds a bit firm for our taste. Had a corner king suite with couch and table, so was great for visiting and having a room drink. Would definitely stay here again, especially for concerts or sports, as it is quite literally across the street from Rogers arena. Free WiFi and bottled water, and our room had an opening window for fresh air.
This was a high-quality comfortable stay. Great room, complimentary WiFi that actually works, complimentary bottled water every night. Great beds, lots of space in the bathroom for toiletries. Just great!
The perfect hotel for all Vancouver's sites. The service personnel were exemplary especially helpful at the front desk. The decor was very modern and pleasant to stay in. Frankie's could do with less piped muzak though.
I requested a fragrance free room and that is exactly what I got - for the first time ever - even the complimentary soaps were fragrance free. I was close to the elevator and didn't even hear it. The place was spotless, the staff were friendly and helpful. The only improvement could be weather stripping around the doors to block the sounds of other people talking loudly in the hallways, as my room was on the edge of a foyer. The security was very tight, so I felt very safe, as I was travelling alone and am female.
My friends and I were in town for one night to watch the Sounders vs Whitecaps game at BC Place. The hotel was literally a jump, hop, and skip away from the stadium. It was right across the street from the hotel and it was at an entrance to the stadium. It couldn't have been more convenient. The rooms were a great size, and the employees were very nice and welcoming. My only complaint with the hotel is the key card. We got 6 key cards (3 for each room) and out of those six only two worked. The key cards also only worked on one side of the elevator, and they were very, very finicky when trying to open the room doors. It was a little frustrating standing outside the room for five minutes trying to pull the key cards out just right to get them to work. Besides that, the stay was fantastic. We all agreed that we would definitely stay there again. Extra charges: Parking garage was $29/night CAD
All of the staff who we encountered during our three night stay were very friendly and helpful. The sauna and hot tub are very inviting and seem to be little used, We did have two slight problems; the bathroom door did not latch and the shower door did not slide closed completely. When I reported these problems to the front desk, a maintenance man showed up within minutes and took care of both issues.
My first time staying at the hotel and I will certainly be back. My room was recently renovated and truly impressed. The bathroom was new and nicely equipped. Free wifi, beautiful flatscreen, hardwood floors are nice and clean.
The staff we kind and helpful at the hotel. Our room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable and it was easy to walk to places. We booked 2 night and we decided to stay an extra which was no problem.
Hotel was good, restaurant not so great for breakfast. It was the first, and last meal we tried in this restaurant. Hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating. Rooms were very clean and bed was extremely comfortable.
Everyone, from Reception staff to the housekeeping staff, was more than helpful...they were eager to help and seemed genuinely concerned that we were happy. The room was perfect, we were in a king room with a separate bedroom and a pullout in the living space and even the pullout was super comfortable. Location was perfect for our reason in the city
This hotel is in a great location. Offers free Parking. I know that sounds like a weird thing to add but I have a big gripe when places your bringing business still charge you parking for unattended in secured garages which I learned is much of Vancouver Back to the hotel. I stayed at the Hilton one night and the rest of my trip here. Hilton didn't even have black out curtains. I was gone. If your not afraid to walk you can walk to most of hot stops in the area. Staff treats you well and courteous. Rooms are great and modern. Very satisfied.
I was granted early check-in and my vehicle granted late check-out from the underground - it doesn't get much better than that! Check-in staff very friendly and helpful. wait staff very personable and maintenance always friendly
5 stars for this hotel category. All staff were super friendly (housekeeping, front desk, etc). Rooms were tasteful and comfortable. Good location and within walking distance or cheap taxi ride to most sites. Combine this with booking hotel through "discount site" as a mystery hotel at just a bit over a hundred--- very pleased. Would stay again.
