SureStay by Best Western North Vancouver Capilano

I telephoned to make a room booking and was given a warm welcome. Excellent service by the front desk staff. Room was as always neat, clean and comfortable. Ample space to park the car. I did an express check out as I had an early start. A highly recommended property to stay at.

Got a great room for a reasonable price. Have stayed here a few times now and every stay has been a good experience. Comfortable clean beds. Great shower and towels. Even have a pool in the summer. Resturants nearby.

We stayed here as it was close to the cruise terminal post cruise and it suited us for positioning to begin our road trip the following day. We were able to use the laundry to clean our clothes at a very reasonable price.

Dated property, needs an update. We actually watched the Grouse Inn get torn down yesterday, June 24 2019. and suspect the same will be happening to these older properties. Our room need maintenance, broken toilet. Bed and bedding - 5/10 didnt sleep that great Staff - 7/10 Location - 9/10, it was where we needed to be. Wifi - 7/10 TV - 7/10 small tv, but they had a printed channel guide which was nice Cleanliness- 6/10 seemed clean, just did not seem really clean Parking - 5/10 seemed extremely tight, though we did find a spot, if you have a larger vehicle that could be an issue, parking was free though Breakfast - 0/10 not included No fridge in the room, pretty dated, fair bit of noise, didnt sleep well. very LOUD AC unit, man that thing was crazy. We might stay here again, it depends, there are better choices out there.

My husband had to go to the hospital, so I stayed alone. Because the cost of downtown motels, close to the hospital in Vancouver,BC, are so expensive - I traveled 15 minutes away by car and found this gem in North Vancouver.

The location of this hotel is very unique. It is very close to Vancouver main attractions in addition to coffee stores, like Tim Horton or Starbucks,bakeries and grocery stores. I recommend this hotel to everybody.

We stayed here on our way back to Seattle after a trip to Whistler. Very easy to get to. Nothing fancy, but a good room and a good bed. Front desk was very helpful. Would stay here again if ever in North Vancouver.

Place was very convenient for our family for the weekend. There is a lot of amenities in close proximity to the hotel. The pool was warm and a hit with the kids! Definitely would stay here in the future.

My truck was broken into, took some wine and my wife's shoes and some clothing items everything was in totes the person went through all of them just taking what they wanted. They forced my canopy open with a tool it was locked we lost hundreds worth of items and time.

The location is excellent. It is a short drive to Capilano suspension bridge, Ambleside beach and Park Royal Mall. A short drive over the bridge to Stanley park as well. Much more affordable than staying downtown and it has a very nice outdoor pool. There is a De Dutch restaurant onsite and a 24 hour Dennys just steps away. Beds are very comfortable. Front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly. Make sure to ask at the front desk for coupons for many Vancouver attractions.

Well located: near Capilano Bridge, supermarkets and Stanley Park. Nice region! They care about recycling It is a quiet area and the room was spacious and well arranged. There's a laundry for guests. It is a plus!

This is a good hotel/motel it was clean and the staff was nice enough. The beds are soft loads of pillows. I was a bit put off as this great looking bed with 4 pillows basically had a sheet to sleep with the bed could really use a blanket or comforter. The tub is a bit small but was very clean and had good water pressure for the shower. The towels were very small and thin but plenty available in room. The room had a small coffee tea set up and the coffee was good. I have to say a lot of the reviewers past are right as the sound from the road can be pretty noticeable but I dont think it's so bad. We had a room with out a fridge and I don't understand how any room in a hotel has no fridge. We planned a cooler but the ice machine broke down our second day which was a bummer cause anything we did wanna keep cold we no longer could. They did have a common fridge in the office and I used it for my perishable food. People really seemed to enjoy the pool as we seen people in it everyday. The place it very dated but its clean and really that's so much more important to me.

It was a good stay at this motel. Room was clean and so was the bathroom. I liked the location as it was just across the bridge and next to 24 hours open food place. Free parking as well. Price was best among others when i stayed. I recommend it.

Prices we're astronomical for the quality of this hotel. This has been my go to hotel on the north shore for many years but likely the last time I'll stay here. A friend left with bug bites but not sure if this is from the stay but I will always wonder. It certainly makes me lose confidence in this accommodation.

We were looking for a place near the Capilano Suspension Bridge and the ferry to Nanaimo that was clean and affordable. We found it in the place. I would definitely recommend this place. Close to everything we were looking for.

comfort hotel with good location, clean room and excellent service. though they don't offer free breakfast, the hotel provide various coupouns for restaurant close by. Also if you go to suspension bridege or gouse mountain, you can also ask for discount tickets from front desk. overall, I like to stay again at this hotel if go to North Vancouver with my family.

This hotel is in a very busy area but our room was nice and quiet as it was at the back of the property. As diamond select I requested an upgrade and received a suite on the top floor. I had to get my bags up the stairs (no elevators here) but it was worth it. This facility is older but appears well maintained and everything was nice and clean. Our suite had two separate rooms with a bathroom and small kitchenette in between. There is everything you need to cook here - microwave, cooktop, kettle, toaster and plenty of pots/pans dishes and utensils - even a knife block!! I really liked the sofa bed as it seemed new and comfy - not beat down. The fixtures in the bathroom are all nice and new with a big rain shower head. Perhaps the hotel has had a recent refresh, as the carpet appeared clean and new as well. There was a small coffee maker in the room with one cup at a time coffee pods. Breakfast can be purchased at a coffee shop that is adjacent to the hotel - you can enter from the lobby

We still stay at this hotel. Total will be 5 nights. Enjoy very much? In this place everything is perfect. Close to attractions. Nice beds. Very clean. Service is outstanding. Lucky to made reservation in this place.

This is a simple place in and near the west and north parts of Vancouver, Canada. It is close to the Capilano Bridge which is worth seeing and the entrances to the TransCanada highway. A small restaurant serves breakfast food and burgers until 3:00 PM. The staff is pleasant.

Very clean with awesome helpful staff, highly recommend, also WI-FI speed was awesome, also the WI-FI connection was fairly fast and free, very polite and helpful front desk staff, very comfortable beds.

The room was super clean and quiet with a comfortable bed and lots of pillows! A tv in each room, heat was able to warm the room quickly and came with a kitchenette. Great location on the north shore! I.d stay again!

This property is not a hotel it is a motel The location is on a very busy street and cross street and this creates a very noisy all the time situation The lower rates to stay here reflect the poor location Staff add check in were marginally OK ,nothing bad or nothing great The room itself very basic but clean as well as was the bathroom My car got broken into two here despite being right outside the door I got in late and left early so it worked to lay my head somewhere but I would not use this property again

I had to extend my stay multiple times due to my mother being in hospital. The staff were understanding and very kind. They were willing to work with me and always were able to make sure i had a room but my sesame room. When I called to confirm and they would ask me how my mother was doing. Amazing

I have stayed at this location various times over many years . The rooms have been updated and are very clean . The washrooms are modern . My only pet peave is they offer no continental breakfast of any sort . Overall , I recommend the Best Western value wise .

Recently stayed at this property for close proximity to Horseshoe Bay for an early morning transit by BC Ferry. Searched TripAdvisor for a hotel close to Horseshoe Bay and this one seemed to have the most positive reviews (the name of the property changed two weeks ago). This property is old, dated and needs a fresh coat of paint. However, the staff were pleasant, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bath towels were thin and not very absorbent. Not a destination location but adequate for an over night stay.

We were on the first floor, the people up stairs made noise from 3:30 AM until around 5, could hear their voices as well. I had stayed here before and the rooms were always spic n span. Not the case this last trip, the room was dusty the beds looked like they had been slept in. There was hair and black soap scum in the tub and shower, hair in the sink and what appeared to be a pubic hair on the toilet paper holder. When I went to make coffee I noticed the caddy holding the sugars and creamers was dirty as well. Sadly I do not think I will stay here again. We had to wipe down the room and wash tub, sink and vanity. Not sure what happened since I last stayed there. The desk staff were lovely.

warm confortable and clean room, in the north Vancouver, 10 min from downtown, good atention from all people, quite place, very near from Capilano Suspension bridge, we received the service for what we paid as a family!

The BW Capilano is just an ok hotel/motel, for a night passing by. Nothing special about it. Service was great. Rooms clean and comfortable. Shower not great but fine. I would gladly stay here again. The restaurant is very nice because they offer pancake specialties.

Great location for North Shore. Nice basic clean rooms. Good parking and walking distance to Park Royal mall. Front desk staff extremely helpful and accommodating. It was our second time staying there and would recommend.

Handy location off the horseshoe Bay terminal. Serve a nice breakfast. Beds are comfy and soft. Hotel is clean. Great staff. My wife likes it, and she is a neat and tidy person. Happy wife is the key. Please dont make me type more characters.
