"Just okay, nothing special."
Pauline B, 14 Avril 2024

This is a nice enough hotel nothing special, not too far from the colosseum with a metro nearby. It is very noisy though, did not get much sleep for the 3 nights, I'd suggest taking earplugs with you. Staff not overly friendly. Not asked how our stay was on check out. Would not go back, I'm sure there are better hotels in Rome.

"San Giovanni -great location"
debmB6215KH, 06 Mars 2024

The Best Western Piccadilly was a great place to stay. It was a short walk to Basilica San Giovanni and the Coliseum; it was an even shorter walk to the Metro stop that can get you to anywhere in Rome in a short time.

"Amazing hotel that serves its purpose excellently."
MC5430, 03 Février 2024

This hotel was perfect, exactly what we wanted for our short trip to Rome. A small family of 3 in a nice cosy hotel the room was more than adequate for what we wanted. The beds were cosy and comfy the shower was perfect. Breakfast was extremely nice with a great selection meats, pastries, cheeses and cereals. There was even a pancake machine that made fresh pancakes at the press of a button to the great delight of my 5 year old son. This came with a choice of maple syrup or chocolate sauce. We would spend our day after breakfast exploring the city which is a short walk from the city itself. The colosseum is a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel and very easy to find. We walked into the city centre every day we were there. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful with every interaction we had with them. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone that is looking to explore Rome and use the hotel purely as a bed for the night and a good breakfast in the morning. I would definitely return if I were to visit Rome again.

"Great just as it said on the tin. "
Rick B, 12 Novembre 2023

Where to start. From the bottom I guess. Easy to find. Great location with shops , cafes and restaurants close by. Entering the hotel we were met by lovely friendly staff who made it a stress free check in. Up to the room we went. Immaculate in every sense. Perfect bed and bathroom , shower is one of those you don't want to get out of. Onto breakfast....wow, from bacon and eggs to fresh rolls with cheeses and meats. Endless amount you you need it. Tea and coffee all at hand as are the staff if you require anything else. Left our room next morning for a day out and returned to a fresh bed, fresh towels and Immaculate room. What a place. We'll done to the staff .

"Four friends visiting for a week in Rome"
elaine j, 30 Septembre 2023

Hotel was great, clean, very friendly helpful staff on reception, breakfast had a super selection for everyone and very special attention especially from one of the gentlemen who looked after us. Convenient location just outside city walls where restaurants and cafes were a lot less expensive. Metro and bus services very near by.

"Excellent "
Newjen, 19 Septembre 2023

After booking this hotel I then read the reviews on Trip-advisor and was extremely worried we had chosen the wrong hotel . . Anyway couldn't have been further from the truth , it was excellent. As soon as you walk in you are hit by a gorgeous smell . Room , yes they are quite small but extremely clean and very comfortable, with air conditioning and Wi-Fi .Breakfast also excellent. Staff also very helpful .Half an hour walk to the Colosseum , also metro station at the end of the street approx 10 minutes walk , which takes you to all the other sightseeing sights . Plenty of restaurants nearby too . Would definitely recommend and definitely visit again . Five stars .

"Perfect stay"
lanakwt, 29 Août 2023

Partner and I visited Rome for 3 nights at the end of August. The hotel was well priced, in a good location as it's out of the busy city but walking distance to the colosseum. There's a shop across the road and cafe/restaurants nearby. It doesn't look like much from the outside but so lovely on the inside. The room was a good size with air con and a very nice bathroom. Breakfast was lovely, a lot of pastries, breads and cold food then bacon and eggs (which were so nice btw we've never had bacon and eggs like it) All the staff were great too, reception, breakfast, housekeeping couldn't do more for us, we were very impressed. Thank you for a great stay!

"3 night stay"
Bhav C, 27 Août 2023

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in August 2023, our experience and feedback below: 1. It is located 30mins walk away from the Colesseum, other landmarks are an additional 20-30mins walk away from the Colesseum. I wished I had booked a hotel closer to the centre. 2. Our initial room was on the 7th floor, #702 next to the lift. A lot of noise from people using it and from the lift it self. Room was small and dusty, I informed reception and we were moved to #706 the following morning. This room was slightly larger again requiring updating. Like other visitors, we expect a thoroughly clean room (curtains require washing/changing). 3. Room kettle not working, reported to reception, a replacement was provided which also was not working. There was also no milk in the room for tea/coffee. 4. The lady on reception (apologies not sure what your name was) was very helpful and we were informed on our 2nd day us we could have a complementary drink. When we checked in, the chap on reception did not tell us about this. 5. Breakfast served from 7am on the 8th floor, it was ok pastries, scrambled egg (basic). 6. Hotel has only one small lift for 4 people, this is not big enough to cater for all people staying there. It was difficult to get a lift during breakfast time. 7. Metro station is near by and the area seems safe at night. I would not recommend this hotel based on the above, I'd pay a little more and book closer to the centre, which is what we will do next time. Regards, Bav

"Terrible - do not stay here! "
Culture26486309299, 11 Août 2023

Will never stay here again! Uncooperative staff, aging infrastructure, tiny bathrooms and dirty beds make for a perfect disaster recipe. The thermostats were so archaic that their own staff couldn't figure out how to work them and we had to wait for two hours before someone figured out how to turn the AC on! The headboards were dirty and full of oil stains from previous occupants!! The bathrooms are so tiny that you could hit your head against the sink while getting up from the toilet or bump your elbows again IST the wall while drying yourself after a shower!!! We had booked two triple rooms and asked for adjacent rooms as we were one family - they said they would try to. The staff never told us they only had one triple room on each floor and that it would be impossible to get two rooms on the same floor - we were forced to downgrade one of the rooms so we could get rooms on the same floor but they forced us to pay for the rooms we originally booked saying it was our “choice” to be downgraded!!!! Terrible - please do yourself a favor and go to Hotel President which is barely a mile away from this one and is a much much better hotel.

TuristaFeliceAM, 10 Août 2023

Not bad, but I expected more from Best Western. The room was too small, the breakfast not rich enough. I wouldn't say that personnel speaks good English. Location - not so close to center - you have to walk a long way in order to reach attractions, or you have to take a bus.

"Super helpful staff, great stay"
A P, 01 Août 2023

The room was a cozy with a comfortable bed and everything that I needed. The staff was super professional, courteous and helpful. And breakfast had a great variety of food. The only thing I would change is that there is that the elevator is small and a bit slow, but it worked great and it didn't really inconvenience me. The location is a bit out of the way, but it was an easy (and short) bus ride to the train station and there were plenty of ways to get everywhere I wanted to go (including walking). The advantage of the location that the restaurants are local and you're not surrounded by tourist traps.

"Our stay in Rome with family"
stecollett, 09 Juin 2023

Short break to Rome with my family. Lovely clean room, everything you need .Staff were brilliant. Fabio and the other young man on reception were great.Helped point things out when we got there, helped when our taxi did not turn up for the airport. He arranged another taxi and we didn't miss our flight, plus the calls he made for us..so thank-you. Close to the attractions so great place to stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel.Nothing was too much trouble. Selection of breakfast foods. All in all 10 out of 10 Thank-you x

"Poor option for Business travellers"
Sav1972, 31 Mai 2023

Many better options, as faced too many issues, including: no wifi in room (despite booked as business hotel) so needed to work in breakfast area but no power available (Tues receptionist great help, but Wed guy rude & unhelpful). Breakfast is simple, staff hit & miss so we started to grab breakfast outside Hotel. Rooms facing main road are noisy (night 1 ambulance heavy). As your somewhat close to city, getting taxis can be a challenge.

"A very pleasant stay :)"
alisha_h782002, 11 Mai 2023

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights and we had a really pleasant stay. We requested a room with a good view which we were given and we also requested a private transfer to the hotel. Edward drove us from the airport to the hotel and he was very professional- high recommend booking this by emailing the hotel! The staff members were all extremely friendly and helpful and our rooms were cleaned well each day. The hotel was in a good area. We bought the 48 hour metro ticket and caught the metro to the sights (the nearest one was around a seven minute walk). It can get busy though so be aware of that! At breakfast, there weren't many hot options. That said, the cold breakfast that was offered was good and there was a lovely view from the breakfast room. Another thing to note is that the walls weren't very sound proof so we could hear everything in the corridors. However, this didn't really bother us. The room wasn't the most modern and was slightly dusty when we arrived but we didn't feel that this affected the trip. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend staying here! Show less

"Ideal for short break in Rome"
stephenwF7445EI, 02 Mai 2023

This was a really nice small hotel with friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable and a large double, although it made space in the smallish room a bit limited. The shower and bathroom generally very good although toilet flush could be more effective. We had a sixth floor room with good view although the local area seems a bit run down. The room was always hot (24-26 degrees) and although the window did open wide and outside temperature was in the range 14-22 degrees, it didn't cool down. The window needed to be shut at night because of the traffic noise. The air con did not make any difference. The Metro is five minutes walk away or if you prefer you could walk to the Colosseum in 20 minutes and another twenty to the central sights such as the Trevi fountains or Piazza Navona. The Vatican was about an hour's walk or easily reached by Metro. Breakfast was good although cooked food was limited to scrambled eggs and bacon. All buffet style. Coffee machine. Interesting that on entering the hotel, steps take you up to the lift and that lift only goes as far as reception. Another lift serves the other seven floors and is reached by passing through reception. Breakfast was on the top floor with lovely views across the city. Tea and coffee available in the room included decaffeinated tea and coffee, plus earl grey tea bags. Wi-Fi was very slow at times. All in all not quite five stars but I would happily return and recommend this hotel to others as good value when part of a Jet2 City Breaks package.

"Good hotel just outside of city center"
Adrian C, 29 Mars 2023

I had a good experience at this hotel. Pros: Good position: 5 minutes walk to metro, 25-30 minutes walk to Colosseum, maybe 45 minutes walk to Trevi fountain. There is a shopping center close by, and some good restaurants. Good breakfast, you can ask for an expresso if you don't like the regular coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Cons: only the fact that the walls are pretty thin so you can hear noise from other rooms. I will come back next time I'm in Rome.

"Decent choice for the business travellers."
Eugene J, 27 Octobre 2022

Pros : The hotel is near Metro A line San Giovanni station. If you don't like the noise and crowd at the city of center. This is good choice that it is a residential area but still you can access everywhere in Rome quite easily. Renovated and clean. The bed is comfy. Nice breakfast. Not many hot meal options but very neaty breakfast. I enjoyed them a lot. Cons : very small room. But for the business traveller it is not a problem. Rude bartender. He is the only one who is rude in the hotel and probably a racist. The noise of airconditioning, I just turned it off and opened the window. If you are sensitive, you need a ear plug. Since it is a small room, all the noise seems very irritating. I will definitely come back this hotel, you cannot get this kind of clean hotel with this price at the city of center.

"Nice hotel - a distance from the main attractions though"
DMass90, 15 Octobre 2022

Stayed here for a Rome city break. The staff were very good in the hotel and were quick to check us in and provide us with any info we needed. We also got our city taxes halved, not quite sure why or how but it was treated like a promotion? The room is fine - everything you'd expect in Rome, small but the beds were comfy and the shower etc was nice. Breakfast wasn't the best - the scrambled egg looked like it had been in there for hours. Looked dry, not for me. A lot of other choices though, we never left without feeling well fed. I misjudged the distance you have to walk to the main attractions of Rome though - you're looking at a 40 minute walk to the collosium for example - nothing is really close by. There's a lot of restaurants etc on the main road as a plus. It's another 30 minute walk to Termini as well. I wouldn't stay here again mainly for location - but if that doesn't put you off then this hotel is very good.

"Jet2 Best Western Piccadilly Rome"
Gunniebrown, 09 Octobre 2022

We arrived on Sunday 25th September at around 14:00 in the rain. Fabian the concierge on reception was extremely helpful explaining how to get to our room . How to get to the nearest metro staiton, how to get around Rome. The best places to go and when to go. All the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was 07:00 till 10:00 with plenty of cold choice. Cheeses pastries cold meats croissants, etc. The hot choice was a bit limited, scrambled eggs. Bacon and toast , very nice all the same. The room was pleasant , although overlooking a busy road, it wasn't that noticeable overnight. All in all we had a very good 4 nights stay.

"70th birthday trip for my hubby"
Lyn H, 04 Octobre 2022

Pulled up outside the hotel and wondered what have I done . The hotel is over shops which are boarded up, there are steps upto the lift which concerned me … BUT I shouldn't have worried once we entered the reception area we knew we had made the right choice .. Fabio on reception was so helpful , our room although small was clean and had amazing views over Rome .. breakfast was continental although there was scrambled egg and bacon available too …. the hotel is on the edge of Rome and we had a walk to the coliseum of around 3km which was a pleasant stroll of around 40mins with many restaurants along the way . The holiday was amazing and we will definitely use this hotel again ! Thankyou

"Perfect for city break though a bit out."
Sach28, 29 Septembre 2022

This hotel is slightly out than we thought. Wit the bus 87 is right outside the hotel, it takes you to Trastevere, City centre, The Colosseum, hence it is perfect. We bought the bus ticket in a local shop. Room were clean daily. Staff on the reception were nice. Gianfranco in Breakfast is very welcoming and excellent service. Now we know the area, we would stay there again.

"A small friendly hotel for a city break!"
Georgia_Ax, 28 Août 2022

Stayed here for 3 nights with my boyfriend on our first visit to Rome. A very nice hotel which was exceptionally clean. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was well equipped with toiletries for our trip and was a good size for us. Breakfast was very nice, a continental styled buffet. The waiters serving also brought me and my partner cappuccino to the table and hot chocolate so we didn't have to help ourselves. The location is a short distance from the some of the main landmarks but also a nice distance from the all the hustle and bustle! Brilliant transport links to the centre via bus and metro. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to Rome, thank you !!

"Great value, excellent customer service"
Forester999, 24 Juillet 2022

Had excellent help and support booking hotel and car parking. Well laid out, quiet room with all facilities. Great value for money and no added extras. Breakfast facilities are small but tables turned around quickly. Nearby managed car park with friendly staff.

"Great hotel off the beaten path in Rome"
kennetho666, 08 Novembre 2021

This is not the hotel for you if you want to be in the heart of the Rome in photos. That said, the service was amazing! Veronica was truly one of the most helpful and sweetest front desk agents I've ever had the pleasure to meet. She made sure I was happy and comfortable. She upgraded my room without me even asking. She helped me navigate the city as I was unfamiliar with this particular part of Rome. And she went out of her way to help me with anything I asked her. Truly a person who belongs in hospitality. Why 4 not 5 stars? From the outside the building looks run down and abandoned. You might not find it if you weren't looking hard. The building looks boarded up and abandoned. Once inside though, it is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are small (by American standards) but are very clean and well appointed. I was ver impressed by how clean and well stocked the room I was in was. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The free breakfast was great and the view was amazing. If you have mobility issues I would not recommend this location as it's a bit of a walk to the closest metro station and there are stairs to get into the hotel, but that said, if you want an affordable, clean, well maintained hotel with great service this is the perfect place to stay! And again, Veronica was amazing! Her boss should give her more money!!!

"Great Customer Service"
211tmotie, 21 Août 2021

This hotel came to our rescue after leaving another hotel because of nonexistent air conditioning on a hot August night. We had been on a plane for 12 hours and had a long train ride and car transfer the next day. We called them and they had a reasonable price given we were going to be arriving after 10pm. The room was clean. It had a cute balcony. The bathroom was really nice with a rain shower. And the air conditioner blew cold. We were so happy to finally be able to get clean and sleep comfortably. In the morning we had breakfast in the restaurant. The view was really pretty and their breakfast included eggs at no extra charge. After breakfast we needed to get covid tests as the other pharmacy we were supposed to go to was far away. The hotel arranged tests for us close by. We were so thankful they were able to find this for us. When we needed a taxi they would call us one and they arrived promptly. This hotel had great service.

"Convenient & enjoyable"
Travelbabe1124, 11 Février 2020

I stayed here for New Year's and the location is very convenient. Walking distance from a transit station. They have an amazing continental breakfast that is complimentary, and the server up there (forgot his name, apologies) was always a joy to see and had me and my family giggling throughout breakfast. They also have a complimentary coffee machine at the reception. The room was a perfect size just for me. I would go back :)

"Very poor experience"
Raz391, 14 Novembre 2019

Their terms and conditions state you can use a gift card to pay for your stay. We gave this upon check in and they said that's fine. When checking out they demanded a credit card payment even though the gift cards had the money to pay for our stay. We only booked this hotel to use the gift cards. I have never had an issue before at other Best Westerns. I was not informed on the phone that I cannot use the gift card. When I complained to Best Western International customer services, they had no idea why they didn't accept the gift card when it is stated in your terms and conditions that you should.

"My favorite hotel in Rome"
Shelley Rae C, 11 Novembre 2019

Great location, great staff, great breakfast.......rooms a little noisy. I was sent an informational email on what to do near the hotel that was most helpful. At breakfast, the attendant will make you a cappuccino if you ask.

"Superb view"
drnamrata73, 05 Novembre 2019

Awesome view Full panoramic view of Rome from the dining area Breakfast— as usual very disappointing for vegetarians Must carry home made or ready to eat food Staff good Could feel discrimination by the staff towards black In center of the city Average experience

"Excellent Location"
CharlotteWright_AK, 28 Octobre 2019

We stayed for 5 days in September. Rooms are small compared to US rooms - but the bathroom (especially the shower was great.) However, you do have to climb a set of stairs to get into the lobby from the street with no handicap access. Also, there is only one elevator inside the hotel (which holds a maximum of 4 people) and we often had to wait for several minutes before we could get on the elevator due to how small it is. They do not have easy stair access to the other floors. The desk clerks were hit or miss, some were quite helpful, but one younger woman was not at all helpful. I think part of is was due to the language barrier - but when she didn't understand something, rather than finding another staff person to help, she would get flustered and very dismissive. The location is very close to the metro, bus system and the train station. There are many good restaurants within walking distance and although the street in front of the hotel was very busy, the rooms inside the hotel were very quiet. I would stay here again when back in Rome.

"Rome Stay"
DaveandGale, 15 Septembre 2019

First off do not take a cab to the hotel. The hotel is about 3 blocks off of the Metro line. The cab took us all over the place and jacked the bill to over 25 Euros from the Rome Termini. Call the hotel for the exact line to take. We used it to get back. The Metro is close so we were able to use the subway from the Best Western to get to all the sites we wanted to see. The room we had was very nice and one of the better beds that we had on our 12 day trip. They actually had soap which many places donot have. (just shampoo) The one think I personally liked was the free coffee machine at the reception area (loved the hot chocolate) The staff was very friendly and accommodating and happy to answer our questions.

"Don't recommend."
Ahmed7eg, 30 Juillet 2019

The rooms are partly good but if you travel with somebody and his card is working your card won't work and the same opposite. The WiFi is terrible plus that the breakfast did not have many choices. But the rooms are clean and the location is good.

"Fab stay"
paulinea273, 21 Juillet 2019

Had a great stay at this hotel , staff were very helpful and friendly. I emailed this hotel before gettting there and they arranged our taxi transfer from the airport .everything was easily accessible from this location.

"Strongly recommended!"
shlarsen360, 20 Juillet 2019

I found this hotel to be surprisingly good, in very good condition and not to forget: very clean and hygienic. Very professional and service minded staff. Good breakfast too. Well equipped and nice looking room also, including the bathroom. The elevator in the building was perhaps just a little bit slow, unlike the traffic outside, so please be patient with that. Will absolutely stay again. You cant go wrong with BW Piccadilly. Strongly recommended and a good choice.

"Good value stay"
Tamsy3, 15 Juillet 2019

We booked through TUI. We paid a little extra for breakfast and it was well worth it. The hotel is 500m from the San Giovanni metro station (beware - I had my pocket picked). Buses and trams also stop here. From the hotel we were able to walk to the Colosseum in about 35 minutes. There are a few restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel and we ate well for about €60 for two. Steps on entry probably make the hotel unsuitable for disabled guests. We had a large room with excellent bathroom on the 8th floor. It had a great view of the city including the Vatican. Unfortunately the breakfast room is also on this floor and opens at 7am so there was a little noise at this time. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful and I would not hesitate to stay here again. As in all hotels you will have to pay a tourist tax on checkout.

"Roma Italy"
Nasello12, 18 Juin 2019

Great hotel, a miss misleading on approaching hotel. There is Graphite on the wall but, the city believes this is good secondary to Roma's history. Massi was very helpful and courteous. The rooms are clean and is close to the bus stop and metro. There are several little eateries and bakeries close.

"NOT THE BEST OF BEST WESTERN"
alysone105, 14 Mai 2019

Visited here for 4 nights in May..... firstly the hotel is about 20 mins bus ride outside of the centre of Rome. A number 87 bus runs about every half hour down to the Colosseum. You need to purchase a a bus ticket for 1.5 euro at the reception desk and validate it on the bus at the ticket machine. The buses are full to bursting if you have a pushchair or children no way would they be suitable to travel on. The hotel itself is just a door on the street no ground level frontage just a boarded up shop covered in graffiti. On entering the hotel there are about 8 steps to climb before you reach the lift which takes you to reception. The lift only holds 2 people with luggage. Any one with mobility aids would struggle The staff where very nice and helpful. We had a twin room which was quite small 2 very small single beds, and a compact bathroom with shower over bath a sink toilet and a B Day. Our room over looked the main street, which is busy all day and night with heavy traffic the view from our room was the wheelie bins of the buildings opposite. The breakfast was a good selection of yogurts cereal, pastries fruit. Bacon eggs ham creame cheese. In the mornings there was a lot of waiting for lifts to get to the breakfast room as it was on the 8th floor and with the lifts being so small whenever the lift arrived at your floor it was usually full. The area around the hotel is quite run down and doesn't offer much in the way of places to visit in the evening for food. On the whole I felt the hotel was too far away from the centre of Rome, and in run down area.

"Position of hotel disappointing "
456321sw, 12 Mai 2019

My sister and I was booked into this hotel through TUI. Although we were informed that the hotel was not central, we didn't realise how far out it was....not walking distance.. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was very small with only a few inches between our single beds. Toiletries were replenished daily. There was a fridge and a hair dryer available. The breakfast was good as a good selection of continental food was provided plus bacon and scrambled eggs. This hotel is no good for the disabled as you had to climb a flight of stairs before you reach a lift (which was very small). The receptionist informed us we had to catch the 87 bus which takes you down to the colosseum. Ensure you buy the bus ticket at the reception as they are not bought on the bus. Once on the bus you validate it by putting into a yellow machine. From the outside, the hotel looks a bit rough, with graffiti written on the ground floor property. Although there were shops in the surrounding area, there was little else. The metro station is a good 5-10 minute walk, depending how fast you walked. If I was to return to Rome, I would book a hotel more central to places of interest.

"Inexpensive base for exploring Rome"
Jarmo L, 07 Mai 2019

The hotel is not at the very center of things, but still in a good location. The closest metro station is 500 metres away and there's a bus stop right across the street. Colosseum is two kilometres away. There are several grocery stores nearby. The room was quite small, but still I did not find it too small during my six night stay. The staff was nice and efficient. My in-room safe did not work but it was replaced quickly. There is a minibaar fridge that was full and not that cold, but there was room to keep one of my own water/soda bottles cooler than the room temperature. The breakfast was at the top floor with a nice view. The selection was large enough, eggs, bacon, bread, cold cuts, tomatos, mozzarella, olives, cereal etc. The best part was large selection of delicious pastries! The price was four euros, so if you like to eat breakfast, you can't get this amount of good food with that price anywhere else. I was definately happy with this hotel.

"Nice Weekend stay"
Todashopper, 01 Avril 2019

This hotel has small frontage but big heart, the staff are friendly and all eager to help. The room we had was a twin bit small but adequate the beds were comfortable and big enough even for my 6ft 4in frame the bathroom had a walkin shower was strong and hot with plenty of soaps and shower stuff the bath sheets were fluffy and new, we were given a welcoming drink of prosecco with snacks on our arrival and a bottle in our room for our anniversary. This hotel is approximately 20 min walk from the Coleseum and 2 min walk from a metro on a busy road with plenty of shops and restraunts around

"Great Value Hotel with easy transport links."
joeb990, 29 Mars 2019

A 4 night stay in Rome, this place was very good value for money. The view from the breakfast room was a sight to behold as you could see the whole of the city and the breakfasts themselves were surprisingly good for the money we paid which was only 7 euros for the whole night. The room itself was a little on the small side but not really a problem if all you want is somewhere to sleep and get breakfast. Some may not be impressed by the immediate area outside the hotel and has a little bit of a Berlin vibe (that doesn't bother me as I love Berlin) but it has great transport links, there is a bus stop almost immediately outside the entrance to the building and San Giovanni Metro Station is only a five minutes walk away. The Staff are very friendly and helpful if you need any assistance during your stay, you'll also find that you will get a complimentary drink on the first evening of your stay which again is an added bonus.

"Amazing stay!"
Lucie M, 15 Mars 2019

We enjoyed very much our stay in hotel Piccadilly! The breakfast was very good - especially the pastry and croissants. Rooms were very comfortable and very well equipped. We were travelling in family and we got also connecting rooms with nice balcony. We would like to thank to all the staff which was very helpful and appealing - especially to Greta from the reception, Gianfranco & Tony from breakfast room and special thanks for great hotel manager Mr Amedeo:-) Greetings from Prague!

Very clean and well maintained. 3.5km from main sites an easy walk or very close to metro.staff could have not been more helpful and everything ran like clockwork. The breakfast had a wide continental choice and eggs and bacon.all well presented and restocked . The coffee was good and self service but you can ask for espresso or cupachino.the restuarent is on the 8th floor and has wide views over rome. Would definatley recommend as a base to visit rome.

"Weekend in Rome"
ANGELO V, 04 Mars 2019

Hotel Piccadilly is placed in an area where you need transportation to visit the city center. The metro station is over 500 m away (0.3 miles), but the metro network in Rome does not cover several areas in the city center. There are four or five buses stopping very close to the hotel, but only one (# 87) goes to the city center. I used bus 87, and average wait time in either direction was over 20 minutes, with a maximum of 40 minutes. The hotel itself was OK, I had a good room with a good bed and bathroom. Insulation from outside noise is far from perfect, I had a room on the 7th floor and still I could hear the traffic noise. The room and bathroom were smallish, furniture were OK, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was OK, with some choices available.

"Very nice boutique hotel"
Kevin S, 30 Novembre 2018

All the team looked after us so well from check in to departure. From the free wellcome drink to the lovely gift for our wedding anniversary, they were very attentive throughout. This hotel is in a good location. We enjoy walking and got to many of the sights without using public transport. Would definitely go back if in Rome again.

"3 night city break"
Dave M, 27 Novembre 2018

Can't fault anything on arrival staff big smiles and helpful check in quick and easy. Good size room with very good shower. Breakfast is ample with plenty of choice hot and cold. And as much as you want. Great location within easy walking distance of the main attractions, And SAN Giavanie metro

"Great Break"
Laura3169, 26 Novembre 2018

Good little hotel, away from all the tourist locations - but right near the metro so all easily in reach. Staff were very helpful and friendly Breakfast was good, was plenty available to give you a good start to the day Only critisism was the room was very warm, although it is November it was very stuffy and we were unable to open windows during night as main road quite noisy. When we asked about air-conditioning we were informed that it switches off in the winter. Overall very good

"STAY AWAY IF YOU CARE ABOUT SAFETY"
Hannah H, 23 Octobre 2018

AWFUL. AVOID IF YOU CAN. If I could give even lower stars I would. They kicked out two young female travelers at midnight, in the rain, a couple hours before checkout because we had a friend who lived there come over so she could show us around the city without us getting lost. They offered no compensation and wouldn't give back our money even though we paid for that night already. Considering it was midnight they weren't going to get anyone else to book the room that WE PAID FOR so it's ridiculous they wouldn't let us even stay the night or give us our money for the night back. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Being from another country we also had no cell phone service to call other hotels, which most of them were booked or didn't have front office staff considering it was in the middle of the night. UNACCEPTABLE AND UNBELIEVABLE.

"Great value and wonderful service"
Aaron G, 02 Octobre 2018

We arrived at 10:00 am knowing that we were too early for check-in. The gentleman at the front desk was polite and told us that there were no rooms available yet. We were understanding and waited in the lobby. Our room was ready for us only a short while later, and we were able to check-in a few hours before the posted time. We were grateful for a chance to drop-off our luggage and rest before heading out for some sightseeing. Our room was just as we had expected for Best Western's, which is a comfort when traveling internationally. Although the bathroom was tight, the finishes were quite attractive. The hotel elevator was rather small, and my wife and I questioned whether we should ride separately because of our luggage! We managed to get both of us and the luggage in the elevator cab, but were hoping we didn't stop on any other floor to add other riders. The door to our room had a bit of difficulty latching and we returned to our room to find that the door was not locked. Luckily all of our belongings were still in the room and it did not appear as if anyone had entered in our absence. We simply had to double-check to ensure the door lock had latched when coming/going. The motorized shutters on the large windows is a nice feature, which allowed us to take a nap during daylight hours.

"Hotel is great value for money"
Lynncw617, 02 Octobre 2018

We were surprised when we arrived outside the hotel as it didnt look too great, but once inside we were pleasantly surprised. Very modern and clean. Rooms had everything we needed and breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Not too far to walk to areas of historical interest

"Very well located."
tulips400, 23 Septembre 2018

We were there first for 4 days, the room was small and looking to a very busy street in the 3rd floor, the windows are sound proof. Very clean and everybody in the hotel is very friendly and helpful specially Max and Greta. After few days in another city we came back for 6 more days. Rome is a place that you always find new wonders to visit. They put us in a bigger room at the 5th floor, it has a beautiful bathroom with a shower and a balcony, unfortunately the windows are not sound proof in that room but was not to bad. All the rooms have WiFi, a small box for your valuables and a small refrigerator. Unfortunately the elevator is very small and sometimes you have to wait long to take it. We had breakfast at the hotel, beautiful views and a nice display to choose from, The staff very attentive and welcoming. Will be a great place to have dinner with beautiful views but they do not serve dinner. The hotel is in a neighborhood area, very close to a subway station, buses and at the corner a taxi area and if you need to do laundry it is 1.5 blocks away. There are few stores and restaurants, gelatto and a small supermarket across the street. By away, you can drink water from the faucet and all over town there are places you can fill your bottles.

"Comfortable stay"
gooner932017, 18 Septembre 2018

Booked as part of a city break. The hotel is in a residential area, but the attractions are easily reached by metro. The hotel is not suitable for less mobile guests as there are several steps up to the first elevator. Check in was available from 12 noon and reception staff were friendly and efficient. The room was on the small side, but had everything necessary for a good stay. The bathroom was well equipped and modern. Towels were changed daily and toiletries replenished. The air conditioning was a bit noisy, but worked well and was welcome in 30 degree heat! There was a free welcome drink with nibbles on the first night. The breakfast room on the 8th floor had great views over Rome. The choice was good and a mixture of hot and cold food. There is a nespresso station. Staff were polite and helpful. There were a few choices of bars, cafes and restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

"Dated and unwelcoming "
Ca T, 17 Septembre 2018

The hotel feels dated and needs a refresh, a fresh coat of paint, the air conditioning is poor and noisy. The cleaning crew did an excellent job and the same can be said for the cafeteria staff and the breakfast service and breakfast quality, but that does not compensate for the general tired feel. This hotel cannot acomódate for disable travellers, there are multiple accessibility barriers. The front desk staff was arrogant, unhelpful and made me feel unwelcome. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

"It's just an OK Hotel"
shvaun4s, 08 Septembre 2018

The hotel is out the way in location so you will need to take the train or bus to get around. The neighborhood is a little questionable. The rooms are average, clean but bare nothing exciting. Note they do not have wash clothes! Breakfast was fantastic. That was the best thing the hotel had going for it only 3 euro per person and yummy. The staff not really friendly. Not the best customer service. That was disappointing. We expected more from our overall experience at this hotel. If you go don't go with high expectations I don't recommend it.

"Roman holiday"
kim e, 28 Août 2018

Stayed at this hotel for a long weekend staff are very friendly and helpful the breakfast is really good with plenty of choice and a lovely view as it's on the top floor overlooking Rome although it's not in the centre it's only a 15 minute walk to the colosseum or a short walk to the metro so in a really good spot to get about

"Best western"
tina s, 22 Août 2018

Stayed 6 nights at Best Western piccadilly last week. Hotel clean and tidy. Room small but again clean. We booked 2 rooms for the 4 of us so we had more room. Breakfast was on the 8th floor, views over looking Rome. Standard continental breakfast. Think the restaurant was in the same place but was closed for holidays which I've never seen before in a hotel. On good bus route, 87 bus takes you to the centre of Rome so you can get off most of the attractions plus the metro just down the road too. For the price we paid the holiday ticked all the boxes. Clean, tidy, easy assess to the centre plus a great ice-cream parlour down the road.

"Great Hotel"
Peddle36, 21 Août 2018

Enjoyed our stay here, good enough sized room for the amount of time we spent in it, clean, good shower and good breakfast. A little away from the main attractions but the bus outside can get you to them.

"good value base for exploring Rome"
horseandgroomdon2018, 11 Août 2018

Basic hotel but very clean bedroom with the essential air con! near tube station and bus stop outside - nice bars and restaraunts nearby. Breakfast basic but has what you need. helpful reception staff.

"City Break"
brianprice84, 07 Août 2018

Hotel room and inside was good. Big room for two adults and son. Modern and nice bathroom. Exterior building could be improved as bit rundown. Good breakfast and staff. Close metro and a few nice bars and restaurants close by.

"Great "
Ellis172, 16 Juillet 2018

Stayed here, for 3 nights. Found staff very pleasant, reception staff ready with a smile and willing to help. The rooms are quite small but beautiful and big enough for what you need. Very clean and comfortable. Good base for colluseum etc,, but not much going on close by on an evening. Overall, enjoyed our stay.

"Lovely staff"
franusher, 02 Juillet 2018

Lovely location, lovely people, great air con, lovely breakfast. The classic triple room we booked did not have the 3 beds we were expecting. It had a double (huge) and a single bed which resembled a camp bed for the 3rd adult in our party. We had not expected this.

"Excellent value for money"
bgb173, 18 Juin 2018

The Hotel Piccadilly is a great hotel, my wife and I stayed for twenty nine days to see the sights of Rome. Perfect base from which to explore Rome with great transport links to places of interest. Safe location with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to visit. The reception service is absolutely wonderful , nice and warm smiling staff. When we checked in, they offered welcome drinking coupon. The Room was clean & tidy and had double glazing and shutters so there was no noise to interfere with sleep. A big highlight of the stay was without a doubt was the buffet breakfast, and the view of Rome from the breakfast room on the 8th floor is amazing. Excellent value for money.

"Average hotel with good service"
drajay2020, 16 Juin 2018

Being on one of the busy and congested area, the rooms are small, pretty small but well maintained furnishings and cleanliness this property is worth a stay. You can reach city Center in 15 minutes thanks to its proximity to two metro stations. Breakfast spread was satisfactory and polite staff as well. Lobby has got a complementary coffee dispenser that comes in handy when you return tired.

"Small but good for short stays"
Simon V, 29 Mai 2018

Small rooms but its clean and good service, Very close to Metro and to the Colosseum, all you need is all around like restaurants for dinner and for lunch , staff is helpful and very polite, arrangements for transportation to airport can be done at the hotel too. Good breakfast

"Convenience to the number 87 Bus!"
jepage2018, 30 Avril 2018

Small rooms for me and my brother, but after all we only booked single rooms! Everything was clean and pleasant although the safe was locked and wouldn't open. Staff at reception were very efficient and approachable. The buffet breakfast was fine and included my staple requirements of eggs, bacon, toast and coffee! The hotel, although centrally located in business district, was a 12 to 15 Euro taxi ride from the attractions of the Coliseum, Spanish Steps etc. Not a problem.....directly across the road from the Piccadilly was the number 87 Bus Stop. For one and a half Euros per trip you could get within walking distance of all the iconic sights, Trevvi Fountain, Navona Square,Vatican City etc. And they ran all day and night at 20 minute intervals. The hotel was also within easy distance of several restaurants and bars. Highly recommended!

"Very simple hotel"
smaman, 19 Avril 2018

I just left the hotel after staying for 3 night. Small hotel in a nice neighbourhood, quiet, close to the metro station and walking distance from colosseum. However, very old and not updated small room, no ac, very simple breakfast.

"Not good"
gghatt599418, 17 Avril 2018

Location: Between 2 metro stations, so not close to any. Ventilation: No A/C available, although advertised, resulting in poor ventilation and hot temperature. Rooms: Really really small ones. Food: The breakfast is good.

"Good choice "
Ilectra K, 06 Avril 2018

In a good neighborhood. Very easy to go everywhere by the foot but also it is a bus station and a metro station. You can find very good pizza and pasta around the hotel super market and many stores to shop. Good rooms, very good breakfast. Good for families.

"Comfortable, convenient and Friendly"
Eeyore2000, 30 Mars 2018

We arrived quite late to the hotel where we were greeted by the receptionist who already knew our names (nice personal touch) and which rooms we were going into. This meant checking inn was easy and hassle free. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean, one had a balcony and one had a nice big window looking out onto the street. Great views. Breakfast was a continental style buffet, with a great choice of pastries, fruit, ham, cheese, egg and bacon- it definitely set us up for a day of sightseeing. The metro was a short walk away and the colosseum was approx a 30 minute walk. All staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

"Great hotel"
kay1980_05, 26 Mars 2018

Just home from our visit to Rome and had no issues with the hotel, 5 minute walk to the nearest Metro which takes you to the main areas. The room (602) was nice and sufficient for myself and husband. Toilets look like they were recently upgraded. Beds were comfortable, not much noise from traffic with the shutters closed and plenty of space for clothes. The buffet breakfast on the 8th floor was great too a good selection of pastries and rolls only gripe would be that the tea and coffee were almost cold but the Nespresso machine was great and came out warm plus you could ask for hot chocolate too. I would recommend this hotel. Reception staff really helpful too.

"Small, comforable, convenient"
RodneyfromLondon, 23 Mars 2018

This hotel has something rare in chain hotels: single rooms. Clearly it could be costly to rectify some of the following items in the whole hotel, but they could be noted for specifications for new hotels and renovations. Room 608 (photo) was small but adequate; the view from the one window (photo) was Roman urban. Storage space for clothes and luggage was good, with normal clothes hangers (not the non-steal variety with metal connections, which can be very time-consuming, as it is impossible to manipulate one with only one hand). The room was fairly quiet – limited, occasional noise from the corridor and adjacent rooms. The room key worked well but was harder to return to its container than in most hotels (photo). The hotel is in a quiet location in a fairly pleasant area, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The shower room was small, but adequate, except for the lack of a toilet roll holder: this was rectified on the second day of my stay. The hot water came fairly fast and in an adequate quantity, but the mechanism for changing between the fixed, overhead shower and the hand-held shower head did not work properly: this too was rectified on the second day of my stay. In the shower was a string pull: no indication of its purpose (emergency, as its red knob suggested? air extraction?). The tissue dispenser was appreciated. The waste bin had no inconvenient pedal-operated metal lid. The cleaning staff were thorough and did not move my possessions around. There were door hangers for privacy and “Clean my room now” – the latter something of a rarity. The hair dryer was visible immediately, in the bathroom. There was plenty of space for place for a computer, but not enough power points. The WiFi was very good. There was a clock in the television, but the figures were faint. The tea- and coffee-making facilities were welcome, especially the camomile tea, uncommon in most hotel rooms. It was however very difficult to fit the kettle's plug into the nearest socket, because the prongs were too big. TV – The very limited guide in the Guest Directory confirmed that there was a huge selection of channels in Italian and three in English (Russian and two French) and one German. I found some 100 channels before I gave up. The breakfast buffet was good and varied, with a small selection of hot food. The breakfast room (photo) was very bright and of adequate size. On the tables, there were table waste containers (spazzatura - photo), common mainly in Germany. Free newspapers were available in the lobby, all but one Italian. The welcome drink and snack were appreciated. In the reception was a functioning printer – with instructions in Italian. For future users, the Italian for PRINT is STAMPA.

"Hit and miss"
Craig M, 19 Mars 2018

Hotel in good location with 2 Metro stations within 5 mins walk. Staff helpful and friendly; breakfast reasonable According to signs there are currently improvement works going on - hope this is to the rooms My room had peeling wallpaper, electric sockets hanging off the wall, shower fittings loose and a kettle that didn't work (replaced when requested) and adapter provided so could use in room rather than corridor! Also offers public PC and printer but printer was not usable when I was there Would not rush back here - not the best advert for BW hotels

"Highly recommend"
mariacristinab219, 04 Janvier 2018

The hotel is located pretty close to San Giovanni subway station (within 6 minutes you get there). In 15-20 minutes you get to Colosseum by walk. At the reception the front-desk employees were very nice and helpful at check-in, check-out and during our stay there. The breakfast was excellent (swedish buffet with lots of different food dishes). `The room was well equipped and cleaned everyday.

"Value for money!"
nicknt83, 28 Décembre 2017

We stayed in hotel for 5 nights. The room was clean, with balcony and view to main street. Also the breakfast was deliccious! Friendly and helpful staff, specially Gianfranco!!! We are absolutely satisfied!!!

"Perfect For A City Break"
carly89smith, 12 Décembre 2017

I stayed here in March 2016 with a few friends and it was lovely. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and helpful and welcomed you with a glass of bubbly upon arrival which was nice. The breakfast bar and food was lovely and had some amazing views as your at the top of the hotel. The location was ok if you don't mind a walk, or jumping on the metro. Had a brilliant time in Rome and looking forward to coming back, I would defiantly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

"Great place"
rawcliffe21, 27 Octobre 2017

Stayed here for 2 nights and thought it was a great little hotel. Room was a twin and was small but big enough for two beds so that was fine. Bathroom was again small but lovely and modern with a hair dryer. The room had a mini bar which we didn't use. A nice balcony overlooked the main road so was nice to watch the world go by. A lovely continental style breakfast was included which was an added bonus. The hotel is a 30 minute walk to the colosseum and about a 1 1/2 hour walk to the Vatican City but there are good transport options around although we did decided to walk everywhere having breaks in between. After looking around the city we were glad we chose this hotel also ugh a bit out of the way a nicer area in our opinion. I would recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

"4 day break"
Bryan G, 18 Octobre 2017

It doesn't look much from the outside but a warm friendly welcome awaits inside. The room was small but clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast room on the 8th floor has stunning views over the city and plenty of choice for breakfast.Although not central it was half hour walk to the Colosseum .

"Good localization and nice stuff"
Anastazia K, 14 Septembre 2017

Old building but quite big rooms. Nice view from breakfast room. Kind stuff. Nice renowated bathrooms. And room was quite large. Hauskeeping worker was very kind and make a really good job. I could recomend this hotel to friends. Air-conditon and internet was working as should.

"30th birthday"
Laura A, 10 Septembre 2017

Stayed here with my husband and friends last year for my 30th birthday and loved it. The location was great for us as there was a bus stop on the opposite side of the street which we used every day! Our room was extremely small but perfectly fine for the 2 of us, it was located at the back of the building and was very dark and quiet which for me was a huge bonus. Our friends room was next to the restaurant and located at the front of the building, it was huge but they complained about the noise from outside so I think we got the best one. Our stay included breakfast which was pleasant, not loads of choice but certainly enough for us All in all a great place and I would definitely stay again.

"Good value, clean, but small"
mark f, 04 Septembre 2017

I booked a single room and that is what you get on the continent as opposed to most parts of the world where a single room still means a double bed. But that's what I paid for. Fine. The positives: clean, neat, well stocked with toiletries and towels, quiet, efficient staff, good air con, only a ten min walk from a metro station. There a couple of nice cafes around and a supermarket over the road but only one bar around the corner that I could find. The negatives: there's a weird two elevator system, where you get one elevator up to reception and then cross reception to get another to hotel floors (okay, no biggie), there's a set of steps to get to that first elevator, there is only one English language channel on the teev (which again is no biggie but it'd be great to have a had an English language news channel), the bathroom is long and narrow and you have to go sideways past the bidet to get to the toilet and also twist around the holder for spare toilet holder which is at shoulder height on the wall in front of the bidet, if that makes sense), the show drained slowly which meant you are standing in about an inch or so of water (which is not pleasant or all that safe). As you can see, the negatives are no biggies for the most part but enough to lose a star IMO. I would stay here again.

"Perfect choice "
EMG-travelling, 02 Septembre 2017

The hotel is very close to everything .. the bus station is access the street .. 5 minutes walking to Metro station San Giovanni, many restaurants, cafe, shops, pharmacy, supermarket .. everything is available and just 1 or 2 minutes away. Room is small but fine and practical, clean and cosy .. I was lucky to get a room with Balcony .. the view is nice. At the Reception we met Ivan who made our experience more enjoyable by being very helpful, friendly and informative. The breakfast is ok .. not much varieties but ok. Hotel gives good Value for money, the price is good.

"Great hotel"
lollyap, 31 Août 2017

Stayed here a few days ago, you can't beat this hotel for value. Spotless, super friendly and helpful staff. We was very comfortable during our stay here. Breakfast was very very good for the cost. Would definitely recommend staying here.

"Lovely hotel"
Graeme B, 25 Août 2017

Arrived lunchtime on Thursday a bit earlier than planned but the young lady on the desk couldn't do enough to help us. She got us onto our room early and helped us book some trips. Can't speak highly enough of the staff here. Always polite and helpful. It isn't a big hotel but it is clean and the food at breakfast is excellent. Is a little out of town but I picked it for its proximity to the metro. Unfortunately this section of the metro is being rebuilt but it is close enough to walk. All in all a good place to base yourself

"Very clean and comfortable"
tashiChoudhary567, 11 Août 2017

We stayed here for 5 nights which were extremely comfortable. The rooms were very clean and the service was great. The highlight was the breakfast with lots of variety at only 2 euros per person. I would definitely stay here again.

"Really clean and helpful "
kim e, 19 Juillet 2017

The hotel is in quite a good location and easy to get to the staff are really friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and air conditioned it's only a couple of minutes walk from the metro in San Giovanni district so really easy to get to the centre from here

"Great Hotel, Convenient Location, Fabulous Staff"
Steven G, 13 Juillet 2017

The front of the hotel from the street does not look very inviting, but don't let that fool you. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful. They are completely bilingual, which made our lives much easier. The rooms were clean and modern. The hotel is located conveniently 2 blocks from the Metro B line, the 87 Bus stops right across the street. there's a cab stand on the corner, so all your transportation through the city is easily available. Across the street is a market, where you can get all the fresh food if you want. Around the corner a Pharmacy. In addition, there are many fine restaurants, within walking distance, as well as Gelato and a bakery. It was nice having an included breakfast every day, which always included eggs, fresh pastries, fruit, cereal, coffee, espresso, bacon, salami, ham, fresh juices, tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and prob a few other things, that I am not remembering at the moment. It was an excellent value. I can't say enough about the helpful staff. They made it easy to get around, arranged car service to the port and to the airport, arranged tours of the Coliseum and Vatican, and in general just beautiful nice people. If I am able to go to Rome again, there is no question I would stay here. Thank you for a real good time.

"Don,t be put off by the front"
ladyjanet_56, 12 Juillet 2017

We stayed here for a few days to explore Rome this place is about a 400yards from the metro on the right hand side of the road, the staff were lovely breakfast well worth 2 euro yes the Bannister wobbles but not life threatening. Would I stay here again yes I would, Jean Claude really looks after you in the restaurant.

"A lovely hotel and good value"
Brian R, 19 Juin 2017

This hotel is on a fairly busy road such east of the city centre in essentially a residential area. That said, its public transport connections were perfect for all of the key destinations in the city. I had a single room which was small but well furnished and equipped. Breakfast on the 8th floor in a light airy room was an excellent buffet and tremendous value making a great start to the day from 7:00 am. I flew into Rome and took the train to Termini and the Metro A to San Giovanni with then a short 5 minute walk down Magna Grecia in less than an hour. There is a bus stop directly across the road served by a number of bus routes and trams stop at San Giovanni. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English, helpful as my Italian is pretty rusty. My flight out was late evening and the hotel provided an excellent facility to look after my luggage until i was ready to go to the airport. Being in a residential neighbourhood there were a few local restaurants and bars where I are well for sensible cost and enjoyed watching the locals enjoying their nights out. On a very hot weekend the Best Western Hotel Piccadilly provided a cool and comfortable place during my stay.

"Clean and good location"
Kevthescot, 06 Juin 2017

Spent two nights here in June. Had a nice time here. The double room was a good size but the single room.... well I guess it's a single room! It felt very small. Other than that the place was clean and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was good and the view from the 8th floor is great. Location wise it's on a very useful bus route (from the Forum) and if you buy a Romapass all public transport is free. The only down side for some is that the lobby is on the first floor. Watch out as the handrail on the stairs is not secure!!

"good service and nice breadfast!"
nicole090325, 22 Mai 2017

"Self-owned and self-run hotel" as it's shown at the reception desk. The reception service is very good, nice and warm smiling staff. When we checked in, they offered welcome drinking coupon. The room is not big, but clean and cosy. Best thing is the breadfast at 8th floor, nice view and the food is excellent. We can also enjoy the nice city-view, start a day with wonderful mood.

"Disappointed"
Sue J, 20 Mai 2017

Service at The Piccadilly was fine all,of the staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and breakfast good. However, the room we stayed in was dark and and everything was dated with dark brown paint in the narrow corridors. Stair rail was loose and could be hazardous. We felt that £120.00 was overpriced. Having said that, the location was convenient.

"Good hotel"
shirley w, 16 Mai 2017

My friend and I stayed for a long weekend to see the sights of Rome. It's about a 20minute walk to the colosseum and hop on hop off bus . We stayed on the 8th floor next to the restaurant for buffet breakfast. No problems with the hot water or air conditioning in our room. Although they advertise a restaurant it is only open for breakfast. We thought we would be able to get an evening meal if we needed to but there are lots of restaurants near by. Bed was very comfortable ,a bit of road noise but that is inevitable if you stay in a city. Overall a nice hotel free drink was a bonus. I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind a bit of a walk into the sights

"Do Not be fooled by the outside of the building step in side and you will not be disappointed"
Dennis146, 13 Mai 2017

This hotel has occupied the upper floors of a vacant building and the renovation is just beautiful with lots of Italian Marble and top quality fittings. The room had double glazing and shutters so there was no noise to interfere with sleep. The room was of a good size with a comfortable bed and necessary amenities. The bathroom was not spacious but you do not live in there ! There was a fabulous shower (big people might find it small but OK for us) with good quality amenities toilet and bidet. The staff were professional and very helpful with guiding us how to get around on foot. The location was Excellent walking distance to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, we did Trevi Fountains and Piazza Venezia on a mixture of Metro (only Euro 1.50 each) and walking. Beware the touts at the Colosseum, we went in the afternoon less busy and touts wanted Euro 54 we paid at ticket office Euro 12 includes Palatine hill and Roman Forum. OK we did not have a guide but we did things in our time and we all know about gladiators etc. The Hotel Breakfast was just great with quality food enough to please anyone (coffee not great!)

"Great hotel, needs some renovation"
lls09, 26 Avril 2017

For the most part the hotel is absolutely amazing. Very convenient location (close to 2 metro stops), lots of buses and tram link which can take you anywhere. Staff is very polite and helpful, breakfast is absolutely amazing with great view through the city. The downside of our stay was the room. We were two and the room we were in was not suitable for two people, I had to hold my suitcase under the desk since there wasn't enough space to fit it anywhere else. using hot water in the mornings (between 8am and 10am) was a bit of a nightmare I assume due to old plumbing the pressure was not enough to reach the 6th floor when everybody else is taking their morning shower. Internet around the hotel is pretty strong, however for some reason it was very weak in our room. AC was pretty much useless, the hotel told us they had just started it on the day we arrived however it was making no difference for the room temperature.

"Every things were Perfect"
ShahinAShahi, 09 Avril 2017

Very good hotel near the San Giovanni archbasilica. The rooms were really clean and comfort. View of our room balcony was perfect. At first you may be shocked by the entrance but inside the hotel is total different. They welcome us by drink. Staff were very trained and kind especially the typical italian man who served breakfast. The hotel is really close to san giovanni metro station. Breakfast was perfect and more than 3 stars hotels normal standard. Mini bar was good.

"Grest staff, fantastic location!"
Jan P, 31 Mars 2017

This hotel is away from the maddening crowds that haunt the Pantheon and similar areas of city center Rome. The #87 bus stops in front of the front door and bus quickly takes you to sites such as the Colosseum, Piazza Navona and even the Vatican. There are many, many good restaurants within easy walking distance. It's in a residential area reminiscent of upper West side Manhattan. Lots of pizza, gelato, sandwich places and bars. Seems like all eating establishments offer alcohol drinks, even the pizza joints. The hotel can arrange ride a taxi in minutes. They also can make reservations at some of the restaurants. After a day in city center, it was refreshing to come "home" to Piccadilly!

"Weekend break "
Feale09, 09 Mars 2017

The rooms were very cosy and beds were comfortable. The highlight of the stay was without a doubt the breakfast on the top floor. Fantastic views over Rome. The staff was very friendly and anything we needed was catered for. Easy access to the underground and fantastic restaurants nearby. Will return again when in Rome.

"Good location"
Alexina56, 03 Mars 2017

We have stayed in the hotel for two nights. Reception is in the first floor (you can use steps or elevator). I slept in one single bed. Room is quite small: there are bed, small wardrobe, table, TV and bathroom. When you open a wardrobe you can't move anymore, but that was ok. My shower didn't work properly, lights above the mirror also didn't work and also I couldn't lock the window, so it was closed but not locked, so anyone could enter. Walls are so this you can hear everything, what your neighbours are doing: taking a shower, are talking, watching TV… Hotel is quite clean. Elevator is small, but I have used steps which are used by the housekeepers and one part is outside and inside. Breakfast is served in the 8th floor where a good view on the city is also. For breakfast are offered eggs, two types of salami, bread, pineapple from the can, cream cheese, marmalade, croissant, milk, yogurt, muesli and some juices, water and coffee. From the hotel we needed approx. 20 min to the Colosseum. 200 m from the Hotel is also metro station.

"Great Hotel for a fantastic trip to Rome"
BeckyLoo2015, 23 Février 2017

The Hotel Piccadilly is a great hotel situated in a slightly quieter part of Rome but is still within very very easy access of the Metro 'A' line, it is also within walking distance of all the main attractions if you have a map or know where you are going. It is also close to main bus routes and a short walk away from the trams too. It has a taxi rank outside, however whilst we were there Rome seemed to be in the middle of a taxi strike so we didn't try these out... The staff were fantastic, pleasant and very helpful - we were able to check in early and then Greta showed us all the main places to visit on the map and helped us out with Roma 72 passes (definitely recommend buying these as they cover so much!). They were also perfectly able to speak to us in English as our Italian was poor at best! The room was perfectly adequate for what we needed - it was clean and tidy and had everything required. It was cleaned and refreshed daily and any queries we had were attended to straight away. The breakfast was fantastic - not at all what I expected with a 'continental buffet style' - there was so much choice and so much food - it really set us up for the day exploring. Very impressed with all that was available to us. The view from the 8th floor (if you can get a seat by the windows) is fantastic and you can see so much of Rome. The staff are also able to arrange transfers back to the airport - ours was early and very efficient and very helpful. We didn't have to worry about a thing. When we go back to Rome, we will because we threw a penny in the Trevi Fountain, I would have no qualms at all about booking here again and would recommend anyone wanting to stay a little further away from the main attractions and explore the streets on foot to stay in this Hotel.

"Convienent place to stay"
Nadina R, 04 Novembre 2016

Stayed at this hotel in September. The room was a decent size and had a huge bathroom (which was a nice surprise). It is central to many tourist attractions. Short walk to the Metro which took you everywhere in Rome.

"A nice little place to stay when you visit ancient Rome"
nameagename, 02 Novembre 2016

This is a cute little hotel near old Rome. The room was small but functional and well equipped. The bathroom was new, with a large shower. A delicious full breakfast was available at a low price. The only thing we didn't like was the tiny elevator (3 to 4 people, max.) and the stairwell that could be used only for emergency escapes. Personnel is courteous and well informed. However there are a few unavoidable steps at entrance. There is a subway station just a few blocks away and the Colosseum is only a 26 minute walk away.

"Worthwhile, just be attentive"
TravelAlways2016, 30 Octobre 2016

I stayed at this hotel during my first stay in Rome. It was central to a number of tourist attractions, while far from others. But, public transportation around it was plentiful. I would caution, however, that not all rooms are created equal, nor are all of its employees. While my experience was pleasant overall, some of the employees are not always very in tune with their customers. I had paid my room with rewards points and after one of my checkouts, there was a very uncomfortable moment where the person at the front desk didn't seem to know the payment method codes very well and she didn't believe me that I had paid with points. She wasn't rude about it, albeit very unbelieving, but after a while, especially since I was returning, she told me that it should be fine and if anything it'd be settled upon my return. It was a little stressful because I had to catch a train very early, but I appreciated that she let it go once she realized that I was coming back. During this first stay, even though months out I had requested a quiet room, I got one by the elevator on one of the lower floors. Not only was this room in heavy traffic area, but the WI-FI service was also very poor. The room in itself also had dirty walls and was just very depressing. When I mentioned this to the same person that checked me out, I was told me that all rooms were the same, but that I would be placed elsewhere upon return. Upon return, the only room that was available was also right by the elevator. But, I was told that it was the only room available. But, that it should be more quiet because it was on a less busy floor and if I didn't want to take it, I could wait for more to become available later. As I was exhausted, I took it and was happy that it was more quiet. It was also very clean and the WiFi was a lot better. So, just beware. Not all rooms are created equal. While I appreciate very much that my request to change rooms was honored and I really appreciate it, all staff should be trained to not say all rooms are the same because they are not and the impression of dishonesty doesn't want to be given, especially when some staff members are a bit dishonest. When I was checking in for the second time, one of the staff members was very unhelpful and quite frankly mean and dishonest. While with points, I still had paid for a double room. She tried to get the person checking me in to put me in a single room. While she spoke to me in English, she told her colleague in Italian because I guess she thought that I didn't understand. I would like to give her the benefit of a doubt that she didn't realize that I had already paid for a double and giving me a single would have been wrong. I hope that was it. But, for that behavior and disparity in rooms, while I advise staying here, I caution that you don't settle with the first offer if something seems less than what you paid for. I get the impression that sometimes people that pay with points are not treated with the same respect as people that pay with credit card or with traditional money. But, I would challenge the places or just certain staff really to remember that people who are loyal to the brand are often ones that pay with points, i.e., they have spent and will continue to spend their money with the brand if treated the same at all times. If they are not treated well when they've earned points and the cost is less, why ever would they continue to invest in that same company to get rewards that are not worth it? There are many rewards programs out there and people will go with the companies that treat them just as well with points that they've earned as in when paying and earning those points. With that in mind, this hotel did redeem itself and I am grateful. There are not many places to eat around it, but given the good breakfast, the overall good staff, it's generally well placed location, the rooms that are nice and it's awesome breakfast room and housekeeping staff, I'd stay here again. I also got a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival and that was nice. So, I'd just caution to be attentive, but once you have what you paid for, it's a nice place to stay. While I had a less pleasant experience in my first room, I'm putting very good for cleanliness because my second room was impeccable and the housekeeping staff really took care of the room with pride in her work. It really means a lot when you're away from home. Thank you.

"The Hotel was in the right place to get to the Colosseum and to get the Metro to the Vatican."
Kay M, 26 Octobre 2016

Great view from the 8th floor breakfast view of the City. Great breakfast. Lovely comfortable room. Thanks to Masimilliano on Reception for helping my friend cancel bank cards after finding he had been robbed on the Metro, before we were on transfer back to the Airport.

"AVOIDED DISHONEST AND RIPPED OFF HOTEL AT ALL COST"
nalinee872, 22 Octobre 2016

STAFF WAS TERRIBLE. we are stay at hotel because non smoking policy and best western standard. so well is it not the case. we couldn't sleep all night. they agree to give us a refund but they are lying when we got to US. they are not responsible for their own policy. our wallet was stolen at this hotel. hotel has a bed bug and far from subway. beware of complimentary drink. they are charged to your bill. same thing with complimentary breakfast. there are not free according to them. please avoid to stay at this hotel.

"Worst reception staff!!& cramped & moldy"
Hatari7, 21 Octobre 2016

The room was smaller then the photos & a bit damp. The AC was old and loud. There is black mold in the showers. BREAKFAST WAS FANTASTIC WITH GREAT SERVICE BUT The reception staff were the most unhelpful, lazy & gave incorrect advice five times. Including rubbish dinner directions on a Sunday [ was told no where open except a place down street and turn left (which would only open at 7pm) -- restaurant was a touristy trap with the most disgusting food I have ever had (& I have been to over 40 countries) I decided to go for a walk and turned right --3 great restaurants that I ate at for remainer plus some pizza, cafes & ice cream spots receptionist refused to book me a taxi to airport in advance saying it would only take 3 minutes the next day...which it did but it's cheaper if you prebook. Then I was told at 3 pm that no where would be open as Italians have set meal times & to use a dodgy pizza place across road but found loads of food places open....& Alices down street sells much better pizza). Tried to charge me additional for breakfast which was advertised as included. Just terrible service.

"good for a short stay"
Lena c, 21 Octobre 2016

The hotel has a good location, close walking distance to all major attrations but also 5 min walk from metro line A if you don't want to walk. The hotel was comfortable for our 8 night stay but after 8 night you get a bit over the breakfast, which didnt change for 8 mornings. Also get over the elevators which couldnt hold 4 people or 3 people with 2 suitcases. On our last day when we went to check out we had to carry our luggage down the stairs as the lift was always occupied (might have been ok if we werent on level 6). The staff were friendly effort and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast room does have a great view and there is a taxi rank right out the door. The best thing about the hotel was that the window opened so I could watch the craxy traffic outside. Would recommend it for a short stay.

"Excellent central hotel"
1JBLondon, 18 Octobre 2016

We stayed two nights, in this fabulous hotel. It's located in a less touristy area of Rome, which made it better. Excellent breakfast, lively big comfy rooms, and fabulous views to the Colosseum. Near the metro. Walkable to city centre, two mins to San Giovanni.

"4 Night stop over"
Moonstone2001, 18 Octobre 2016

After a nice few days in Venice we headed for Rome and this hotel which I had book due to the reviews on this site. We arrived and was soon at the reception desk checking in where we were given a map of the city plus he also highlighted the public transport for us, after that we were offered a welcome drink The room were a little on the small side but had everything you needed, the breakfast which is located on the 8th floor was good and the view whilst eating you breakfast was very good over the city.. Had a great stay at the hotel and will be returning next year to enjoy this again..

"a 4 night city break"
Denise H, 17 Octobre 2016

this hotel is well placed to visit the coliseum and was very clean. Mero very close 5 mins walk giving you access to the centre of the city The room was small /compact but had everything we needed The breakfast was excellent egg /bacon/ fresh fruit /pastries /cheese and ham with a lovely view of the city from the restaurant It did not have a bar open at the time we visited which would have been nice

"Excellent hotel for a reasonable price"
unlevin, 04 Octobre 2016

We found the Best Western Hotel Piccadilly in Rome on Tripadvisor and it was a very good decision. The hotel is located in a more residential area but within a couple of blocks of the subway. The hotel staff was excellent. They were helpful and courteous and recommended places when we asked. The rooms were very nice and the hotel has an elevator which many do not. I highly recommend this hotel when traveling to Rome.

"Informative staff"
KHadventure, 02 Octobre 2016

This was a great place to stay. 5 min walk to the metro where you can get close enough to walk to any of the attractions. The beds and pillows were comfy. Room was clean. Breakfast was awesome because it was "included". When you check out they charge a "city tax" - which from my understanding is not charged by the hotel - of €2/person/night. So if you just want to think about it as a breakfast charge, it's not really that bad. Every time we had a question for the staff, they were knowledgable and friendly. Massimo even printed us the schedule for the train to the airport. It was also a nice touch for the welcome drink and a small snack. Hot water wasn't so hot in the morning but very hot in the evening.

"Nice stay!"
Balázs D, 01 Octobre 2016

This hotel was a perfect base for our 3 day trip to Rome. Located close to the Lateran Basilica and within ten minutes you can reach the heart of the city with metro or bus. The room on the 7th floor was lovely, bathroom design is amazing too. At the reception we got all the answers what we needed to discover the city. Especially Massimiliano was very helpful, young talent for the hotel!! Thank you for your hospitality! I definitely recommend this hotel!

"Good price Good value"
siobhanr373, 29 Septembre 2016

We stayed here for a weekend in Rome it's away from the main attractions but this turned out to be a good thing and it had a couple of nice cafe/bars, the metro and a fantastic restaurant ccalled Pepe's all very close. The bar has a limited service but we got a free glass of wine which was nice- most staff were friendly and very helpful we would stay there again!

"NICE Hotel in good area"
Marie B, 27 Septembre 2016

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of days. It is in a great location with easy access to buses, underground in order to see the attractions. There are some lovely restaurants in the area with reasonable prices. The hotel itself is small alike most Italian hotels, but the staff are very friendly and courteous. Rooms were of a good size, with good facilities and lovely bathrooms. The breakfast was good with choice of pastries and cold and hot dishes. It has a lovely view of Rome from the breakfast room.

"Fantastic!"
Tangozulu2016, 25 Septembre 2016

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and everything was amazing. The breakfast was great, lots of choice. The room was always extremely clean and the bathroom was lovely. It was that nice I want it copied at my own house! During this stay my partner proposed to me so staying in this beautiful hotel made it even better. The staff were very helpful in particular the young gentleman behind the front desk. More of a 4* rather than a 3*, will definitely be returning to this hotel.

"Ok Hotel, Great Staff"
Kara S, 24 Septembre 2016

Pros: The staff at this hotel are the best, helpful and friendly. You can buy Roma passes and bus tickets at the front desk, although the hotel is an easy 20 minute walk from the historic center of the city. There's a parking garage about 50 meters away, so you can drop off the car and not worry about it. Cons: The air conditioning in our room didn't really work, and it was almost unbearably hot and stuffy after sightseeing all day. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Also, our room was right next to the breakfast area so we couldn't sleep past 5am because it was so loud when staff began preparations for breakfast. This hotel was a decent base for exploring Rome, but I'm not sure I'd stay here again.

"Great hotel for a city break"
Sarah-Ann F, 19 Septembre 2016

Stayed here with some friends back in July and was very impressed for the price. Between us we had two single rooms and a double, the single rooms were a tad small but very clean and fine for a shorter stay. Staff were all friendly and welcoming and breakfast was good too. The hotel itself is a short walk from the metro making it a perfect place to stay for a city weekend away. There is also a lovely gelato shop over the road from the hotel which serves amazing gelato and sorbet. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome and look forward to coming back!

"Great City Centre Hotel"
Dave2usa, 28 Août 2016

We loved this hotel - it was in a good central location only a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro stop which was only 2 stops from Termini main station. It was also just a short walk to the Basilica di San Giavanni and within 30 minutes walking distance of the colosseum and other attractions. We had a family room which was very comfortable and were very pleasantly surprised at the great breakfast provided for only 2 Euro's each on top of the room rate. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with lots of information about the City and the best ways to get about and back to the airport. If I visit Rome again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

"Great place to rest your head when in Rome"
tangentgirl2003, 28 Août 2016

We stayed in this hotel the first week of our holiday we shared a double room with an extra bed for our 10 year old so space was limited but nothing we couldn't manage especially as we were out from dawn till dusk. The room was clean and well decorated- we had a balcony so could dry clothes something not usually available in small budget city hotels. The only negative is the lift is tiny (for 4) so sometimes you had to wait a little while for it. As mentioned in other reviews really close to San Giovanni metro so great to get out and about. Breakfasts were good with choice between hot bacon and eggs, cold meats and pastries. One of the things we liked was the area it was in- we are usually on quite a tight budget when we travel and because this was not in the centre we had supermarkets(Carrefour)where we bought food and drink at local prices not tourist prices and Rome is very pricey!- our 6 pack of 1 and 1/2 litres bottles cost 2 euro's compared to 4 euro for 1 also we ate at two local places which cost us less than the meals we had in the centre. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. All in all a good stay and value for money.

"Wonderful staff"
Nick H, 21 Août 2016

My wife and I stayed here for 4 days during our honeymoon. Physically the hotel is quite average. Coming from Canada, the rooms do seem a little small. The location is good for seeing the sights and is about a 5 minute walk to the metro. The part that really stands out about this hotel is the staff. As others have stated, Greta is a simply amazing member of the staff. The staff here is always helpful and friendly and do their best to meet any request. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

"Good hotel, adorable staff"
L G, 17 Août 2016

We really loved our stay at Piccadilly and would come back to this hotel. The staff was great, the break fest was good (only €2) and our room was very comfortable, especially the mattress where we slept like babies! If I had to mention one downside, although they didn't bother us, it would be the few issues with the bathroom, it looked great but the air-drier wasn't well fixed and the toilet seat was moving.

"Overall happy with hotel, but a couple of issues when changing rooms"
BangkokFarang, 15 Août 2016

Happy with hotel and would stay there again, but some issues. Good points: Good bed, breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, location outside touristy area, so more local feel, but easy transport available. Issues: Door lock stopped working after 2 days so was moved to a different room. No problem with being moved to another room as sometimes is necessary, but new room was clearly inferior to original room: Layout of new room made room seem much smaller - original room had large shelf for bag. new room had folding rack that took lots of floor space making moving around difficult. New room had much smaller safe - not able to store laptop. New room had much smaller window - made room much darker. New room CNN was not working. Told staff but never fixed. Worked in original room. New room shower head bracket was broken, so height was too low and could not be adjusted. When there is a problem with a room, a guest should never be moved to an inferior room compared to original room

"Great base for touring in Rome"
Caoimhin1970, 28 Juillet 2016

This is a great base for visiting Rome. It is 5 minutes walk from the Metro and convenient to all main tourism destinations. Also, the bus stops right outside the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially Greta who advised us on all our travel and tourism needs, a real pro! Breakfast was very good also. Our room, 609, was small with no balcony. It looked out on the back away from the road, and was nice and quiet. This hotel is not very central, but good transport links, very reasonable rates and friendly, helpful staff make it a great choice.

"Great place to stay!"
Justine S, 28 Juillet 2016

Great location, only 5-minutes walk to nearest underground station, but also easy 15-minutes walk to Colosseum and Forum Romanum. Lots of nearby cafes and delicious ice cream btw. Booked comfort double room for our 3-nights stay. Well sized with air conditioning, comfy bed, balcony with charming city views, completely stunning bathroom, specially shower with enough place for two ;) Room, bathroom, hotel grounds, all clean and tidy. Wonderful staff. On welcome you get drink and snack from waiter. Breakfast located on top floor, with stunning views over Rome and Vatican City. Breakfast simple, but more than enough for a first meal, hot (tea, coffees) and cold drinks (water, juices), eggs, bean, croissants, fruits, all you need to start exciting day in Rome. Can't see any disadvantages! Price to all amenities is exceptional low. Waiting to book again.

"Lovely central hotel"
Jan B, 27 Juillet 2016

Fantastic hotel, small and friendly staff wonderful especially Greta who had time and patience and helped us navigate the city, she even booked us in at some lovely recommended restaurants. Hotel great location to see the city. Bus no 87 is directly outside hotel which leads you to most sites and the metro a 5 min stroll. Hotel very clean and modern. Breakfast room is on 8th floor and has a great view of the city. Continental breakfast had enough choice plus scrambled egg and bacon.

"Handy place to stay."
DTULeeds, 25 Juillet 2016

Good to recommend. Friendly staff..with plenty of background knowledge. Our room 705 was great with a balcony and air conditioning. Breakfast ...could not ask for better and fabulous coffee machine. Very near the subway to all parts of Rome.

"Best Hotel of the Summer"
Austin S, 24 Juillet 2016

I have stayed at this hotel off and on every summer for over ten years. They are consistently dependable, professional and the rooms are fantastic. Had a view of St. Peter's dome this year. Highly recommended!!!!!

"A very pleasant place to stay"
4CsfromC, 16 Juillet 2016

We can definitely recommend this hotel . The staff are friendly , knowledgeable and always willing to help . Our rooms were very comfortable and always kept clean by the maid . The breakfast was satisfactory ; not so many hot options if that is your fancy but an excellent selection of pastries . The location is good for exploring Rome . The Colosseum and The Forum are approximately 25 minutes walk away . The San Giovanni Metro stop is about 5 minutes walk straight down the road and a train from there will take you to The Vatican .

"A few blips that spoiled the stay"
Cat182, 07 Juillet 2016

We visited Rome the first week of July and the weather was very hot! We were greeted at reception and given a bottle of water as our room wasn't quite ready. On arrival the room was clean and cool with a/c we were on the 6th floor facing the road so some traffic but quiet enough that we slept ok. Window shutters meant complete darkness at night which was great! Bathroom nicely decorated with a good shower if a bit small. What was disappointing was on our 3rd night our key card wouldn't work to get into our room so we were stuck outside. My partner went to reception and they gave us another key card which again didn't work, so back down we went for someone to come up and fix the door. However it wasn't fixed and every time we left our room after this we had a problem getting in. Lights kept turning on and off as well which I guess we also due to the key card. Had we had more then two ago left we would have requested another room as it stopped being funny the 3rd time! No restaurant on site just a breakfast room (which is amazing) but plenty of food places within walking distance. Overall an average stay. Let down by faulty key card and no real solution or compensation.

"Hotel Piccadilly, Best Western Hotel"
ejus2007, 26 Juin 2016

Good basic value with breakfast. Location good to the metro stop and to getting around rome. Stayed with family of 4 and got room 201/202 which were adjoining rooms for the kids/parents. Worked out well. The only issue is if you have trouble carrying things, there is about 6 stairs to get to the elevator from the street level and then 2 stairs to get to the elevators from the lobby level. Not a bad thing since this is how is the property is designed but worth noting if you have some challenges.

"Helpful staff"
Cowfield1, 26 Juin 2016

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Rome for a special family birthday. The hotel staff were really helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Booked taxis, restaurants and during an unexpected long power failure were reassuring. The hotel itself was good for a 3star. The rooms were spacious, clean and the bed was large and very comfortable. The A/C was a little sparse but was adequate as we didn't spend a lot of time in it. Breakfast was a buffet with everything u would require. Cereals, fruits, yoghurts, breads, pastries & even some very good scrambled egg & bacon. All in all, well worth a stay.

"Nice hotel, nice staff."
janii_12, 23 Juin 2016

This was a good place, with all amenities. Only could not find good restaurants around - which wasn't a big problem, since we were in the busy areas most of the time, had all our meals before heading back. It is very conveniently located with easy access to 2 different metro stations which will get you to all the attractions within minutes. They even had a welcome drink on our first day. In addition to providing free wi-fi, they had a business area where we could use the computer for all our rail reservations and all. Staff very friendly and helpful.

"Dwight's Review"
dwight w, 23 Juin 2016

Hello everyone please be careful when traveling to italy .they won't tell you this but when you stay in any hotels there, they hit with a taxes at the end of your stay when it's time to check out.i got in into argument with one of the desk clerk, because he insisted that i pay ,what he called the "Rome Tax". I expained to him that everything was paid on my behalf by AAA because i'm a member.he did care he kept saying,"YouMust Pay".He also insisted that i go to the atm across the street and get some money.FYI that really upset me ,So before things got out of control i politely said to him,"I am not paying that".i left because i had a plane to catch. also to those that are traveling to italy over the summer be careful about the cab drivers.make sure before you get into that cab, have them give you the exact amount of how much it will cost to go to your destation.Once you agree upon a price stick to it no matter what. They will try and change up the total.Don't get into that cab if they say a phrase like"well its about something, somthing euros.Trust me it's not worthit ..Fyi i'ved traveled all over and have stayed at some amazing places, The Hotel Piccadilly in Rome left a bad taste in my mouth.I won't be coming back.Enjoy travels and be safe.God Bless.Enjoy.

"Not even a little bit of goodwill"
Blurer, 20 Juin 2016

Airline cancelled our flight to rome just minutes before scheduled departure time, because of a airport strike in Italy. There was no other flights to rome that day, so we called the hotel immediately. Guy on the phone was friendly, but decline a cancellation because cancellation deadline already passed. No indication for any kind of goodwill, they also refused to give us a voucher for another night. They charged us the full night rate. If it was our fault that we missed the plane I would totally agree with their behavior, but when there is a generall strike in Italy and many flights are cancelled they should at least show a little bit of goodwill to their customers.

"great location for visiting with very friendly staff"

This was a great hotel with easy access for visiting. Bus stop right in front. Metro a 5min walk. with fabulous restaurants five min walk. The staff was so friendly, in the morning the girls were always polite and smiling. in the evening the gentlemen were as well. I have to point out one individual Ivan. He was always so helpful. giving us good information on our visit and booked our restaurants. Great job Ivan. The breakfast was good, what you would expect in Italy to eat.

Archie522, 15 Juin 2016

Very friendly and hel[ful staff, lovely clean hotel. 20 min walk from Collesseum or 10 min walk to metro. Would definately stay here again. Does not do evening meal but does do a very nice continental breakfast. The views from the breakfast room across the Rome skyline are a superb backdrop for breakfast.

"Good"

My friend and I stayed here for a long weekend during April this year. Location is good, it's about a 25-30 minute walk or a few stops on the bus from the colosseum. There aren't many shops open late at night around that area so be sure to have everything you need. Rooms were okay, we had everything we needed. A lot of the wall paper was peeling off, the room was quite small and the shower door kept getting stuck which meant we had to leave the door open. Staff were excellent. The breakfast was really nice, although the breakfast area is quite small, we always found a table. I would defiantly recommend the open top bus tour, which you can get from just outside the colosseum, I think it cost us about €18 for the whole day, it was fab! Also if you're arriving during the day, it's not very hard to get to the hotel by train, so I would defiantly get the train instead of a €45 taxi.

"Brilliant!! "
Cara M, 12 Juin 2016

Great experience! Was greeted by Greta who was so helpful! And friendly and helped us to where we needed to go the next day! Thankyou so much. We had room on 8th floor with the best view we could have asked for. Rooms cleaned every day and was to a high standard. The outside could look better but don't let that put you off the hotel (also some English channels on the tele) haha. Would definitely stay here again. Thanx best western for a great stay!! Couldn't change it. Rome was very tiring but such an amazing place. Would recommend to anyone!

"Best Western Piccadilly"
Paul G, 12 Juin 2016

Very comfortable hotel with friendly English speaking staff, no restaurant for dinner but breakfast is available, free coffee in Reception area. Lift is very small, only holds 3/4 adults with no luggage.

"25th wedding anniversary "
User, 02 Juin 2016

Breakfast is fine, a bit of everything and absolutely stunning views. Rooms are nice as well as pretty bathrooms. Staff is outstanding. Room was on the street side and with the sound proof blinds, you would never have known. Cutest balcony from our room. Great location. Pompi bar has the best tirimisu in Rome, 8 minutes away. Great pizza place around the corner Ricominciodatre . The only complaint is the paper thin walls inside the room, you can hear people next door taking showers and in the hallways. But that's the only complaint.. Recommend this hotel to anyone!

"A moderately priced nice hotel"
vacationdeprived35, 31 Mai 2016

The Hotel Piccadilly is located near attractions like the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Roman Forum. The hotel is situated on a very busy street, but fortunately, the rooms are equipped with sound dampening shutters to keep out traffic noise and light. The beds are comfortable and the room was very clean and neat. The hotel elevator is very small compared to elevators in the US. You can fit about two medium-sized people and some small luggage. A nice continental breakfast is served on the 8th floor of the hotel where you get a nice view of the city. They do have free WiFi, but the speed of that WiFi leaves a lot to be desired. Our room had a small patio where we could watch the pedestrian and vehicular traffic below. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this hotel.

"Wonderful place to stay"
Subhadip B, 23 Mai 2016

It s very good hotel. Centrally located and near to the metro line . Its a walking distance The break fast was superb and it will give you a great view in the morning as it is in the top floor. The staff were very friendly and they guided us with the city pass for commutation.

"Comfortable nice rooms"
glocat44, 14 Mai 2016

The front desk staff were nice and attentive. When we needed a convertor for our phone they had one for us to use. The room was clean and roomy. Breakfast which was on the 8th floor had a nice view of Rome.

"Super hotel"
Jana M, 02 Mai 2016

This hotel has everything you need. Our double room was plenty big enough with a fab newly installed bathroom. The breakfast on the top floor was made special by the magnificent view over the city. Absolutely stunning. The closest attraction is the Coliseum which is about 15 minutes walk but if you like history, you will find some ancient remains on every step and you can submerge yourself in the wonderful atmosphere. Do check out the local places to eat. You won't find tastier pizza or better home made tiramisu anywhere. I would definitely stay here for its amenities and the location. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because one of the reception staff, who was rude, obnoxious and really difficult to communicate with (though he spoke excellent english). Saying that though, all the rest of the staff and all the Italian people are terribly friendly and put smile on your face the whole day. ??

"Vacation"
Joanne K, 28 Avril 2016

Our stay at the hotel was very nice. We arrived slightly earlier than check in time and when our room was not ready we could store our luggage. Ivan at the reception was very friendly and helpful in his information about our room and how to go to the city center. We finally got our room on the highest floor with a great view over the city. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style and it has got everything we needed for breakfast such as cakes, eggs, bread, jams, sausages and cheese. When we visit Rome again, we will surely stay here again!!

"Disappointing stay"
Wakeford38, 24 Avril 2016

Having read the many good reviews of this hotel we were looking forward to our visit during which we were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary which our agent had told the hotel about in advance. Our problems started as soon as we arrived because we couldn't get into our room as the key wouldn't work, back down to reception to get another key, that didn't work either. Finally the guy on reception, Angelo, accompanied us to our room and had to use his master key to let us in. He said his colleague would sort it out when he came on duty later. He didn't. When we got in the room the aircon was blowing out cold air. We tried turning the thermostat up but it didn't make any difference so we turned it off completely and got the extra blankets out of the cupboard. We told Angelo who told us to press the button, there was no button. As previously he said his colleague would sort it out. He didn't. We hardly got a wink of sleep as we were at the front of the hotel on the second floor with a busy road that did not stop all night. In the morning we were greeted with a tepid shower when all we wanted was a hot shower to warm us up. This went on for two days, despite us asking to change to another room. By the time Monday came, two days into our four night break we moved to a room on the seventh floor which was much better, although in the whole time we were there we never had what you could call a hot shower, lukewarm at best. Angelo told us when we checked in that we had been allocated a 'nice' room, this bore no resemblance to the rooms shown on the website and was dreary and basic to say the least. As we were at the top of the list of people checking in that day you would have thought that the people who booked the furthest in advance would be allocated the nicest rooms but clearly this was not the case. The breakfast was fine and the breakfast staff friendly, but sadly that was the only part of our stay that was ok. I know that all Best Western hotels are independently owned and operated which usually means that you are well looked after but unfortunately this was not the case here and we will not be recommending this hotel.

"Nice Place????????????"
Misslovelygirl, 23 Avril 2016

Came here thru an online search and I must say this is a Good and Safe Place to Stay! It's in a non touristy part of the city, which I enjoy! There are plenty of markets and cafeterias on the block. The Staff is extremely helpful! I got a single room which is standard European small but it was fine for me. It was very clean and cleaned everyday! I haven't tried the Breakfast but will today:) Termini Station and the Metro is close and you can walk to the Colosseum! It's very close! I also walked to the Vatican but I'm also pretty fit. I would not hesitate to stay here again! Very Nice Place??

"Good Value for Rome"
welly3278, 21 Avril 2016

Amenity wise, a 3 star hotel. Value wise, a 4-5 star hotel for us. The rooms are small, very small, but had everything we needed at the end of the day. We opted for the 2 twin beds (which were very comfortable) with balcony (room 505), which overlooks the main street. Clean bathroom and fresh towels. Mini-bar with reasonable prices and room to store our own water, hot water kettle and coffee/tea, large flat screen TV with a couple of English speaking channels, and FABULOUS air-conditioning that worked better than any 5 star hotel I have stayed in in Europe. The hotel is not near (walking distance) to any major tourist sites but is in a nice “local” residential area, with bus service out the front door and Metro up the street (with tickets available at the front desk for purchase) to get you anywhere you need to go. Large grocery store across the street, several decent restaurants within easy walking distance, and ATMs nearby. Breakfast up on the top floor, was more than satisfactory (fresh scrambled eggs, local pastries and bread, cereal, fresh fruit and an Nespresso machine tucked away in the corner with great selections to get you started for the day). Front desk staff was great and ready with directions, tips and restaurant advice. After long days touristing and fighting crowds of people it was nice to come back to some place quiet and secure, and reasonably priced (for a major European city). If I am ever in Rome again, I will most definitely use this hotel again.

"Rome break"
Jan B, 13 Avril 2016

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel - the staff and the breakfast couldn't have been better - slightly away from centre but easily accessed - room very clean and comfortable and for three star a more than adequate standard. Very good value for money

"Very nice and comfortable hotel near city centre of Rome"
Suganthan S, 04 Avril 2016

I booked this hotel as a Best Western Rewards member and was completely satisfied during my 4-day stay in Rome. The hotel is located near Re di Roma metro station. It can be reached from Rome Fiumicino airport within 1h and all the tourist attractions can be reached with the metro line. Some people claimed about the noise of the streets but I did not recognize it during my stay (our room was on the 4th floor). The breakfast was not big, but sufficient and the staff was very polite and exerted. There are a few italian restaurants close to the hotel with good price-performance ratio and mostly visited by natives. Here you can really taste italian cuisine, not like in the centre close to the tourist attractions. All in all, I can highly recommend this hotel for a short duration stay, e.g. for a city sightseeing trip.

"Clean, Comfortable and Value for Money"
Anu M, 02 Avril 2016

The hotel is superbly located with Bus Stop right in front of it. Bus no 87 takes you to main attractions. The Metro is just 5 minutes walk from hotel. Also, there are restaurants, superstores and small bakeries nearby so you will never be starved.'COIN' is also just 5 minutes walk , just in case you want to do some shopping. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is helpful. There was no problem of noise on our second floor, street facing room. This may be because they have done good sound proofing or maybe we were so dead tired after long walks of Rome. Either way it was satisfactory. WiFi is free and has good connectivity in rooms. Breakfast room was on 8th floor with a nice view of Rome. Breakfast menu was same everyday but we were not bored even after having it for 5 days :-). We were a bit anxious before we reached there but after staying for 5 days, I would highly recommend it.

"Caveat Emptor"
finnius, 19 Mars 2016

We were in a rush to find a hotel for the night in Rome at the last minute (a few hours before boarding a plane in Houston, TX). I should have been wary by the photo that just barely showed the doorway to the hotel. The doorway looked pleasant enough - but I should have wondered why the photo was so tight around the door. Perhaps it was because of the graffiti that was on the walls to either side of the entry? Perhaps it was because of the bazaar like atmosphere on the busy street outside the door. Perhaps it was because of the stairs inside the door. But the hotel was sub-par. The room was sort of small and very hot and the window looked down on a busy street. But it wasn't tourist Rome busy near beautiful historic sites, it was sort of out of the way and looking on a busy modern Roman street, but not the nicest looking street. The bathroom was small but very recently renovated, with a very nice very modern look. The staff was pleasant and friendly for the most part. The breakfast room was on the top floor and had a great view towards the Palantine hill in the distance. (Opposite direction of our room view). Will add photos later. Wandered down the street at fairly late at night looking for food to bring back to the hotel and was not bothered. Hotel was really not a good location if you want to be close to everything for exploring.

"Great location"
Kevanya, 03 Mars 2016

15 minutes walk from the collosseum, 5 minutes from nearest metro station. Rooms are small but clean. View from the breakfast room on the top floor is amazing. Some great restaurants and bars in the near vicinity. Just need the receptionist to cheat up a bit

"Upgrade to excecutive room is a must"
Lovro B, 18 Février 2016

I was last minute on this trip to Rome and all the great hotels were booked. Since I did not stay at Best Western I wanted to check it out for 3 nights. When checking the room I realized I had to go with executive room and I was not wrong. For little extra you get much better room and designs. I have to say that bathroom was like in a good 5 star hotel. Isolation of the room was on the other hand not so good so you could hear the noise from the street but we did not bother. Breakfast was basic but cool since it was on the top of the building with nice view. Location of the hotel is also good, near to metro and more or less clean which for Rome can be a thing. If you are for a solid hotel with a price of 100EUR per night, go here but remind to upgrade to best possible room you can get.

"Great location"
Tonntastic, 17 Février 2016

This was the second time we had stayed at the hotel. It's location is ideal to travel on the metro system, and there is a bus stop right outside the door. The majority of the staff are friendly and helpful, though one of the female receptionists could go on a customer service course. The breakfast provided is typically continental, but is nicely presented and it was plentiful. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

"Pleasantly surprised. "
Robert C, 09 Février 2016

Stayed here for 5 days from the 28th of January. When I was dropped of, I was a little worried. After checking in and getting to my room with a balcony most of my fears were unfounded. Headed out for dinner and drinks and I was totally at ease and felt safe. Everything is in walking distance, even if I got a little lost from time to time. Staff are fabulous as is the breakfast on the 8th floor, with stunning views.

"Meets Expectations!"
Tishya S, 30 Janvier 2016

We are a family of four and this is our first time in Rome. 1. The hotel is not too far from the train station which can take you anywhere to the main attractions. However, the hotel signage is not very visible so it was challenging to find. 2. There is an elevator which is a welcome treat, the aircon is good and the area is clean. The room is small thou but this is pretty much the standard in the area. 3. The hotel staff are nice and helpful, we could not ask for more 4. The hotel is also a walking distance to some of the less famous attractions but are really worth visiting. Just ask the front desk staff 5. There are so many small restaurants and shops within the hotel area. I would suggest you try the small pizzeria, they were so good and priced so cheap. 6. I would like to give credit to the chef, our all you can eat breakfast was very very good, it was well planned and very delicious! It was really the best way to start the day. 7. When are having your breakfast ensure to enjoy the view on the patio since you can get a good view of Rome from there.

"Good, clean hotel"
NVanFamily, 30 Octobre 2015

We spent 3 nights here. It is a bit away from the main tourist area, but we didn't mind as the bus stop is right outside. Breakfast is fantastic. Espresso machine, fruit, cereal, eggs, bacon, Italian cold cuts, bread & pastries galore. The staff is helpful, but not super friendly (we found that most in Italy are that way). The room is a bit small, but it has been renovated recently and was very clean with all the amenities you might need. What others said about the room being small is true, but it's Rome after all. The elevator is small, but the hotel was not super busy when we went, so it wasn't an issue. The road outside is busy, but the windows were properly sealed, so it was fine as long as it is closed. Right across the street is Elite supermarket, which is quite large. You can get any food supplies you may need. Right downstairs is OVS, a clothing store, but had quite a selection of cosmetics and toiletries. There are many restaurants and cafes as well. Not touristy, which we liked. San Giovanni in Laterano, which is about a 5 min walk, was one of the most impressive cathedrals we saw on this trip. Do not miss it.

"Excellent room & breakfast, very helpful staff"
anjado, 26 Octobre 2015

This was the first time I booked myself a hotel and stayed by myself. When I arrived I got greeted very warmly and given a map of Rome with a lot of useful information on how to get around. The chap was very knowledgeable and seemed happy to help. My single room was lovely, I could see the sunset in the eve, towels/shower gel etc were provided and everything felt very clean. Bed was very comfy although not sure the air con worked 100% but it didn't matter to me. Breakfast time was 7-10 so brilliant for me! The breakfast was very varied and delicious, you also get a view of Rome on the 8th floor where breakfast is served! Honestly an amazing place! Area around it easy to navigate too, although entry slightly hidden behind tree...

"Fantastic Hotel , perfect location ! "
Adi B, 23 Octobre 2015

Just got back from a brilliant few days in Rome staying at this hotel. The room was clean with all the things required for a comfortable stay. A kettle with coffee and teas , wifi , mini bar and a large TV are all available. Breakfast on the 8th floor gives amazing views over looking the city (pic inc) Breakfast is included in the price which was a relief as the company who we booked with said it wasn't. From the hotel door turn left and walk up to the Metro , for €7.50 gives you a 24hr pass or turn right and right again keep walking straight over busy junctions for about a mile takes you to the Coliseum. Local shops are all around the Hotel with a mini market immediately opposite. To get to the Hotel we got a taxi from the Airport. Follow the signs out of Arrivals and join a queue to be ushered to your cab. It's a fixed price of €48 which may seem steep but the train is for two tickets €28 not including the cost of the metro from Termini to the Hotel. It's door to door it will take away a lot of hassle and stress , it's worth paying that little bit more. The staff at the Best Western were 10/10!!! Very friendly and extremely helpful. Thanks for the loan of the cork screw :) I'd defiantly recommend this Hotel!!! Only criticism is and it's not the Hotels fault... When checking out you will have to pay a Rome visitors tax of €4 per person per day. We were unaware of this and maybe when checking in this could be explained. Like I said it's not the Hotels doing it was brought in by the local government in 2011. Thanks again the staff of the Best Western Picaddilly !!!

"Excellent reasonably priced hotel in its class"
RoscoePinscher, 22 Octobre 2015

Two of us stayed four nights in a double room and were completely satisfied with the room, staff and service. The hotel is located just outside the Aurelian walls. It's a 10 to 15 minute walk to St. John Lateran and about the same to the baths of Caracalla. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the San Giovanni Metro station and a taxi to the Terminal station will cost 10 to 15 EUR. The area is a "real" neighborhood with all the commercial services you'd expect including a supermarket. There's a department store right up the street, gelato shop, and pizzeria. The breakfast is "American-style" including bacon and eggs, yogurt, American coffee and so forth. The dining room is on the top floor with an incredible view. The rooms on the second floor were about the size you'd expect from a comparable hotel in New York City - if you want a bigger space, opt for a suite or book a 4-star hotel. The double room was more than ample for the both of us. The room, linens and bathroom were impeccably clean and all of the furniture and fixtures were in proper working order and spotless. Front desk assistance was crisp and efficient; and the cleaning staff really gets an A+. It was a pleasure to relax in the hotel room in-between doing 'touristical' stuff. On the top floor next to the dining room is Room 802 with a superb view - don't know how much it costs but I'll check the next time I'm in Rome. I would definitely stay again.

"Great City Hotel"
AndyDNB, 21 Octobre 2015

Booked this hotel for a 3-night long-weekend via Booking.com and was not disappointed!! For a 3-star hotel this place really punches above its weight. The room was great, bed comfy and the bathroom was newly refurbished. All of the staff we encountered during our stay were VERY polite and friendly and couldn't have done any better really. Breakfast was included in our booking and it really was very good. The breakfast room is on the top (8th) floor and has views across the city. A great selection of continental breakfast items and coffee on tap. Also a free espresso bar too! The hotel is only a short walk to Re Di Roma or San Giovanni metro stations or its only a 1 mile walk to the Colosseum. Very good location! WiFi is free, just ask when you check-in for the code. Can't recommend this hotel enough really!

"Nice hotel, location a bit outside the "city" but near the Metro"
Kristina W, 28 Septembre 2015

Really nice hotel, lovely room and great staff. Nice breakfast, egg, bacon, fruitsallad, nespresso coffee, fresh juice etc. Three stops with the metro from the Colusseum. 20 min walk.If the location has been more near to the centre this has been a 5 star hotel. A taxi cost around 7 EUR from Piazza Navona to Picadilly hotel so If you like to stay in a comfortable hotel with nice service this is the one you should choose.

"good service"
Lianne S, 16 Septembre 2015

actual we had booked another hotel but this hotel made a double booking. So they booked us at this hotel. It was not our choice. But we really loved it. Nice room (at the 8 th floor with a small balcony with a great view) very friendly people at the reception. They told us a lot about the bus, metro, places to visit, lovely restaurants and bars. Clean room and bathroom. Very nice breakfast with a lovely view over Rome! Busstop opposite the hotel, some small shops in the street, 2 nice bars for a late drink. So a very nice place to stay!

"Excellent hotel location and room"
SnehalPandya, 14 Septembre 2015

The hotel staff was very good at the time of check in and was kind enough to provide the directions and other city touring guidance. The room was clean and in order. The room size though is small even for a king size bed as there is less space to walk around in the room. They provided me a free upgrade to king size instead of queen (my booking) as I am a Diamond member on the reward program. The reception is on 1st floor to which you have to climb stairs and there is no elevator. Otherwise, all other aspects of the stay were very good.

"Good location"
Gorbi2013, 12 Septembre 2015

Helpful and welcoming staff. Rooms clean. Fairly basic, but all you need for a trip to the capital. Stayed for two nights as part of a tour of Italy. The lift is really slow and if you are on a high floor you may as well use the stairs as the lift is always full by the time it gets to your floor around breakfast time or checking out time.

"Fantastic"
donjul, 10 Septembre 2015

We stayed for a weekend and had a beautiful room with a breathtaking view. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was all we wanted and more and location was perfect for seeing all the sights. I would stay again with no hesitation.
