Front desk staff member during check-in was TERRIBLE! He also worked the evenings during the rest of our stay and had zero customer service. I honestly think he hates his job and should find a new one! Rooms are updated but cleaning requires attention. Bathroom shower corners were not cleaned well and few strands of hair were left behind. Carpet corners and edges need to be vacuumed more. No sign of bugs. Breakfast staff very friendly, they kept the area clean and well stocked. I appreciated the free daily breakfast and 24hr coffee. Thank you! Close to Philly and reasonably priced. Parking free! Nearby shopping and restaurants by car. Not sure I would 😕 stay again...
The hotel was clearly recently updated so all room facilities were working well. The scent of the toiletries (citrus) was very nice liked by both men and women. The hotel staff was all very pleasant and welcoming. The breakfast included both hot and cold items, which is much appreciated. The 24 hr coffee machine produced fresh ground coffee and was very good.
Very clean hotel-awesome housekeeping staff. great location, comfy bed, great shower...all the comforts of home only better. This is the second Best Western we have stayed at(the first being The Glo) and we found them to be more consistent than the Hilton or other brands that we typically stay at.
The front seat staff was rude and unwelcoming upon arrival. The room itself had a bad smell and wasn't very clean (dirt in corners of bathroom), I was so grossed out that I checked for bedbugs, luckily no sign of them Breakfast was just ok, location is very isolated and felt unsafe.
Great stay, super clean and nice. Nicer inside than the outside. We thought it was nicer than most hotels at its star level. Free parking, near highway, lots of great food can be delivered. If you are used to nicer hotels the bed and sheets were good
THE Hotel is clean and coffee available all day in lobby, in addition to keirig cups in room. The staff is very friendly and professional. Breakfast amenities are nice. The hotel is conveniently located to Philadelphia and South Jersey locales.
They serve hot breakfast, the beds are done every day, the towels are replaced every day, they provide nice smelling shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, freshly brewed coffee 24 hours, I felt safe at all times & located about 20 minutes from PHL.
It was a very nice inexpensive hotel within easy reach of Philadelphia. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds and pillows comfortable. The only negative I can think of is that it is a bit difficult to find/pull into it, but GPS directed us well back to it after we passed it.
We stayed here for a few days while we moved our child into their apt in Philadelphia. This hotel is in a great location in proximity to Philadelphia. (But you will have to pay tolls to go into PA every time. ) The staff was friendly and helpful anytime we needed something. Rooms were very clean. Beds were decent. Breakfast was good every morning. Waffles, breads, sausage gravy, eggs, and sausage links. No biscuits for the gravy but bagels and toast. Cereals, fruit, and yogurts too. They also had a coffee machine that had cappuccino and cafe latte and had decaf options. Loved the coffee machine. Their workout room has weights and one treadmill, elliptical, and bike but also a peloton bike which was great. I would definitely stay here again!
During our stay at the Best Western Plus Philadelphia-Pennsauken Hotel in New Jersey, we were initially impressed by the clean entrance and the polite, friendly clerks. Our rooms were spacious and clean upon arrival. However, the service quickly declined. The following day, our room was not made up, and when we reported this to the front desk, the staff member informed us that she was the only one on duty and that the cleaning crew had left at 4 pm. She provided us with towels and washcloths, but no further assistance. The day after, while the beds were made, clean towels and garbage bags were left on the bed for us to handle the rest of the cleaning ourselves. We were attending an annual convention with several others who experienced similar issues, except for those who left daily tips—those rooms were cleaned properly. We had two rooms and faced the same problem in both. This is not our first time staying at a hotel, and it is customary to leave a tip upon departure, not daily. I would not recommend this hotel and hope it is not chosen for our convention next year. The service was unacceptable.
This property is centrally located, safe and very clean. I was satisfied with the breakfast and the variety of options. Thank you Ms. Mary for the grits! The food was well stocked and adequate for the number of guests in the dining area. It was helpful having more than one waffle maker. I really enjoyed my stay.
Here is our checklist for our hotel stay: Room-clean and spacious. Carpet clean Bed-clean nice bed and neatly tucked in Refrigerator-yes Microwave-no Breakfast-yes, nice coffee maker Bathroom-clean and spacious Toilet-clean/doesn't clog Shower-great water pressure and upgraded shower head Air-condition - works good/not noisy Smell - smells ok, no bad smell Area is safe. View-no Pool - no pool at this property Built-2019 still new Price-$165/night/summer/weekday Overall, would stay again as long as they maintain cleanliness. But they have to lower price since they are lacking amenities like the pool.
This hotel was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful which is a comfort after a long trip. They had 24 hour coffee and tea. the breakfast was very good. My only problem was the hotel front is right on the highway and some of the race cars and motorcycles roared down the street. Maybe the back of the building would be more quiet.
Picked this hotel cause of the all the reviews of it's cleanliness. It was very clean, both the lobby and the room. Breakfast was nice, nothing special, but hot and good. Breakfast area was also kept clean. This hotel is literally right on a highway. Great if you want to get up and keep going in the morning. However, if you have little ones, might have to keep an extra eye on them. We only stayed one night, and would stay again.
Hotel was average and had pros and cons. Pros - - location to philadelpha was convenient - no charge for parking - clean - breakfast had a wide selection and the breakfast attendant allowed us to eat late Cons - - accessible/handicap parking isn't even near door (electric car charging spots are) but accessible parking are at back corners of hotel, have never seen that before - no recognition of Diamond member status, no complimentary bottle of water as Best Western promises, nothing - requests don't mean anything, requested 1st floor and had nothing available whatsoever Overall, decent hotel but if you expect customer service.or anything else, look elsewhere. Plenty of choices in area.
We were looking for an economical hotel for a two night visit over the 4th of July. This hotel was perfect. Clean, comfortable room. About 15 minutes from downtown, reasonably priced, good breakfast, highly recommend if you are looking for something outside of the expensive downtown hotels.
The location while right off the Hwy & across the Delaware River isn't really close to anything. Needs more attention spent on cleaning the bathroom.
This hotel was awesome. Very clean. Professional front desk. Room was good. Bed was good. Pillows were great. Bathroom was solid. Had a mini fridge to keep my drinks cold. TV was good enough to binge shark tank. The pillows were so good I woke up with no neck pain for the first time in years. I ordered them online once I left the building, seriously! The free breakfast was fine. Average, what you'll expect. Not fine dining but great because it's free. Eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, bagels etc. free parking, which was great. Only complaints are that it's literally right next to the highway AND the walls are very thin, in that I woke up at like 4am to loud banging. Not sure if it was in the hallway or outside the window to be honest, but my point is it's not the most quiet place. Overall I WOULD stay here again, especially because I was heading to Philly in the morning and it was half the price of a Philly hotel to stay right over the bridge. Well worth it, great value.
Great value. Delicious hot breakfast and very friendly staff. Very close to Philly as we stayed here on a Saturday night to watch a couple of Phillies games. Hotel was safe and inviting and clean. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
I was weary being so close to Camden. Glad i gave it a shot and this wasn't my first stay. The stay is so friendly. You have the holiday inn and residence inn Marriott beat which are on the same road. You beat the Hyatt house too in m out laurel.
Appreciate this hotel, right where I need to be, very affordable, clean and comfy and safe, cheaper and better than other hotels I was considering! Easy to check in and out, good free breakfast selection
I was very surprised how nice this place is. The staff is great. Hyatt and Marriott have nothing on this spot. It's very clean, kept secure and the breakfast was good. You are within minutes from everything
I stayed in this hotel due to an out of town meeting. The hotel is clean but small. I didn't take advantage of any of the amenities because of my short stay. The only downside is it is not quite as easy to to from the highway in a commercial business area. There were just lots of turns to get to it, but certainly wouldn't make that a reason not to stay here as this was a great little hotel.
Date of visit: Sat Aug 19th , sun Aug 20th, 2023 When we decided to take a road trip to Philly, we didn't realize how costly hotel stays would be. Everything in Philly was so pricey we decided to broaden our scope to see what came available. Thats how we found the Best Western Plus. It is located just over the river from Philly in New Jersey. The hotel is right on the highway, which made getting to the hotel the first time a surprise and challenge. Subsequent entries were much more accessible, but as first-time visitors, it was a quick turn. The hotel has ample on-site free parking with several spots for charging stations. The front desk staff were very friendly, helpful, and informative. This is a lovely, modern hotel with beautiful rooms. Our room was charming. It was very comfortable, with a lot of room, a big comfy bed with large fluffy pillows. Our room looked out over the highway, and we expected there to be a lot of noise from the traffic. This was– not an issue even though it was right on the highway. This is a 100% smoke-free hotel, so there was no concern breathing in that aroma (old or new). The bathroom was spacious & clean, with a tall shower, which is perfect for tall people. Exceptional staff. Every staff member we encountered was outstanding. They were all very friendly, engaging, and helpful. In fact i witnessed several staff going out of their way to help their guests. One guy, who appeared to be maintenance/cleaning team, helped a single mother and her three young children get breakfast (which was still out) even though it was technically closed. They were so grateful as she clearly had difficulty getting three youngsters ready for the day, and she was disappointed to miss breakfast. There is a Complimentary full breakfast. Hot coffee/ tea, eggs, breakfast meat, juices, an assortment of fresh breakfast bread, muffins, and pastries. A selection of popular cereals and oatmeal. Waffles and yogurt. The hotel does have a gym with assorted equipment like free weights and treadmill, elliptical, and bike. . There is no pool here. The hotel is not pet-friendly; service dogs are accepted. This is a fantastic place to stay: exceptional service, comfort, and quality. The challend of navigating your drive to philly goes away after your first attempt. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.
Located in Pennsauken immediately adjacent to route 38 its setting is not appealing, but the hotel experience belies that introduction. It is clean, recently renovated, and a decent value. Breakfast is complimentary and is satisfactory in quality. The reception was friendly and helpful. The room, on the small side with a king, was clean and had a small frig, flat screen TV, and a renovated bathroom.
My two kids and I had a great stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast hit the spot and they even had a make your own espresso machine in the lobby.
Recently stayed 3 nights here and used this as our base to visit the downtown area. Hotel was clean, quiet, parking a bit tight but doable and free. Breakfast was adequate, and would not hesitate to stay here again.
Staff was nice. Breakfast staff was very nice. Stayed here for two nights. Bed was okay. Shower was okay. Price was a little high with no pool. We used the self service laundry. That was working good.
Great hotel. Super close to Philadelphia center city - only a 10-15 minute drive. Had a king room which was a little small but cozy and comfortable. The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the shower was great! Great shower products too. They have complimentary breakfast from 7-10 but can't comment on it since we slept so well that we woke up late and missed it. Would definitely stay here again.
Crystal made our stay perfect! Hotel was spotless and smelled so clean and fresh. Rooms we perfect. Its a must stay if you are in the area! Newer hotel. Price was affordable. My kids didnt want to leave. We will definately be staying again!
It was such a great experience staying here! The staff was so friendly and welcoming (Rashaad and Fatimah are the two names I remember but all staff was great).. The hotel was very clean and comfortable! When I forgot my toothbrush, I called down to the front desk and they gave me one- free of charge. The breakfast was delicious as well! This hotel was very affordable and very close to the Lincoln Financial Field for a Eagles game (Go Birds) I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in this area!
We have been staying here for sometime waiting on our Apt. They have treated us well and always help with our needs. The Staff is very nice and the Breakfast preparer Mary goes out of her way to make every breakfast a good one. They have some new Front Desk people who are trying their best.
We were very pleased with the facility, beds, cleanliness. Fitness room was good. Breakfast was great. But it was difficult to find after dark and involved riding through a commercial area. Getting out of hotel was not as hard as getting back into hotel from I-95 direction. It's not under the control of the hotel because it is near the junction of two major limited access highways.
We did an overnight stay for a visit with family in the area. The hotel has a modern fresh look, both in the lobby area as well as the room we stayed in. We were on the street side so there was some vehicle noise, but the room was comfortable with a nice shower area and a very comfortable bed. The fair price and proximity to Philly makes this a good choice to stay at.. The employees are pleasant and professional.
An awesome stay! Great hotel! We spent six nights here and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. We had reserved a KING room, but at check-in, Ashley told us that all kings are in the front of the building (along very busy Kaighns Ave.) and she could "upgrade us to a queen." That sounded strange to us, so she went to fourth floor with us and showed us the two rooms for comparison. The queen was bigger and arranged differently. It worked great for us, having six nights. We took her suggestion and never had a regret. A great room, with the best A/C system, comfy beds with lots of pillows, sparkling clean, quiet as can be with lots of bath towels for showers AND hair, and a wonderful shower! Breakfast was FULL: scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, juice, waffles, sausage gravy, dry cereals, strawberry yogurt, and blueberry muffins. The menu didn't change, but most people don't stay for six nights. You can definitely get your fill here. This hotel has the best customer service! Ashley provided maps of the areas, including Philly where we would spend most of our days sightseeing. The Patco station is less than a mile away with a large lot to park your car all day for free. Three stops and 20 minutes later we were at Market and 8th, ready to start our day in historic Philly. So simple, thanks to our helpful hotel! She also recommended La Scala's Birra for dinner. (Only a mile away, using the easy back way!) Well, we ate there three nights because it was such a pleasant place with the best foods! The "trickle down" effect was very evident at this Best Western: the best management is in place to provide the best training, upkeep, and expectations. I wish every hotel I stayed in would provide what this one did.
The team at this hotel goes the extra mile to make sure every client is comfortable and satisfied. The complimentary breakfast is good. Rooms are impeccably clean. Ms. Rivera is always polite and very knowledgeable.
The room was very quiet I slept very well also, the room was very clean and the linen was super soft. The towels and wash cloths were nice and white. Thank you very much I appreciate the comfortable stay Best Western Plus.
We stay at this hotel whenever we are in the Philadelphia area for football games. Location is great for restaurants, shopping etc and very easy to get to the sports complex in Philadelphia. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the staff is excellent. We've never had a bad experience here.
I have been an extended Guest here while waiting for our Senior Apartment to open. We have seen staff come and go and the Breakfast go from a brown paper bag to A full hot breakfast every Day. The overall Staff and MGT is Very Helpful, Crystal and Cris. and Mary the Breakfast Lady. Some of the younger Staff needs a little Customer Service training but Overall A Very Nice Hotel, Close to Philadelphia and Major attractions in South New Jersey.
I just want everyone to know how amazing this hotel is. All of the staff are so welcoming. Ashley was a big help with helping us find center city. She gave us great recommendations for food. Miss Mary was the sweetest breakfast lady we've came across. My husband and I will be coming back.
We needed a one night stay near Philly and the reviews on this hotel were spot on. Clean, modern, breakfast included. Took the prior reviews advice and requested a room in the rear, and there was no road noise. Lots of restaurants down the road within a mile or two, also close to Cherry Hill Mall.
Staff was nice and went the extra mile to be sure we were happy , not just OK with every situation. The Hotel was "full" of people and everything ran smoothly. Drive into Philadelphia was easy except for construction.
Clean friendly staff and decent breakfast. Downside, if you're spending a lot of time in the hotel there is not much to do on site. Location of the hotel - lots of roads confusing. Went around in circles to get there but after first time we knew where to go. There is a beautiful lake close by. We were there for a baseball tournament so lots of kids and no place to go in the hotel to hang out but the hotel itself was very clean. Staff was constantly mopping spraying common spaces etc.
Oh my, so quiet. That's usually all I look for in a hotel since I travel for work. Even though it's by a major highway, not alot of traffic noise. Wasn't a big fan of the breakfast but all machines were working in the fitness center so thats something. All in all if I find myself in cherry hill again this is my go-to hotel.
Room was very clean, staff was friendly & helpful, fridge was larger & the A/C was positioned to NOT freeze the beds! Conveniently located approx 14 mins from downtown Philadelphia, this was great value. Breakfast was sufficient with some added touches like whipped cream, Nutella & sprinkles for the waffles- missed having a 24 drink station & there was no tea or hot choc at breakfast but otherwise a very good experience.
Location is a little hard to find but if you call they will give you a new address to find them. Breakfast was great. Staff was amazing. The supervisor Ashley did great with recommendations on food and places to see downtown Philadelphia. We will be coming back for sure
The hotel is generally good and the staff was very nice. But the iron in the room did not work and the conditioner and the body wash containers in the shower were empty and the shampoo container was almost empty.
Best Western Plus Pennsauken is a beautifully maintained hotel only 5 Miles from Philadelphia. It is clean and offers a Lovely breakfast and a very helpful staff. We have been here waiting for our Apartment to be ready.
I am a travel nurse and I stayed here while on assignment. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. It was quiet to get sleep during the day. Overall, it was an excellent choice for my business stay.
We were taking our son to a concert and needed a nearby hotel to stay at. The Google reviews (4.5) did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and attentive. The rooms were nice and clean. Great place to stay.
Very nice hotel. Looks like it was recently completely done over. Very nice. Room was super clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was included. It was served by staff because of covid restrictions. It was your average hotel fair. Waffles, eggs, biscuit, gravy, cereal, yogurt, etc. The hotel is along a main road which could be a bit noisy. Rooms on the back would probably be quieter. Easy to get to from the south. A little more challenging from the north because it is on one side of a divided roadway. If we were ever in the area again, I would certainly stay here.
We were visiting family over the Christmas holiday. We have enjoyed staying at the Best Western hotels when ever we travel. This was the first time we stayed at this location. We were very pleased and will stay here again. We would recommend this Best Western.
VERY odd location for this hotel. Its right off a main route, but mostly in an industrial park. My room faced the road, so I did hear road noise, plus there was a 18 wheeler parked directly in front of the hotel. Room was "Manhattan Small" but nice. Super clean and fresh smelling. VERY modern and upscale feel. Shower was very nice, though they were out of body wash. Computer chair was VERY low and not very adjustable. TV was nice with a good amount of channels. Bed & pillows were nice. I had to call the front desk around 5am to report people 2 doors down being loud. It was promptly taken care of. I did eat the hot breakfast at 7am. Good variety of meats, waffles, fruits and juices. I went to pull down the shade chain, and the entire shade fell from 10 feet above and blasted me in my left hand. Overall, there was a lot of pluses here, but several negatives. The location is very convenient to Philly plus Cherry Hill. VERY modern facility, but I'd say it was a solid 3.5 stars for me.
This was an amazing stay. I had to leave a day early and Ashley helped change my leaving date. She made sure we were all good to go. The hotel seemed every quiet which was a plus. No complaints about room. Breakfast was a little boring and our sausage was burnt other then that I would definitely recommend
We have the most pleasant stay here. This was the best most cleanest best Western we've stayed at. We were able to get a early check in thanks to Ashley she helped us find our way around as well. Tim also was kind enough to get us some extra towels. We will definitely be back
Arrived very early in the day (before 11:30 AM ). The front desk clerk was so accommodating she found us a cleaned room so we were able to leave our luggage and continue into Philadelphia to spend the full day with the piece of mind our luggage was safe. The room was spotless and comfortable. My only problem was with finding my way to the hotel but that's a GPS problem, the hotel gave us details once we called them. I will be staying here every time we come to visit our grandson in Philadelphia.
Booked this hotel at the last minute when our original plans feel through. I haven't stayed at a Best Western in years. This experience was outstanding and I will be using them again. Clean spacious room. Excellent staff. Very comfortable beds.
The stay at this hotel was booked through a family member for out of town family attending my nephews wedding. We did have an issue finding the hotel with the address we were given but I was able to contact the hotel and the front desk gave us the address to input into the GPS. check in was very fast and very friendly. the rooms are typical, clean, very nice cleaning person, no complaints nor concerns. The breakfast was very nice and due to COVID restrictions at the breakfast bar, very friendly staff served the food choices. But the stand out for my family was once we were back at the hotel in the evenings, everyone wanted to watch football and no one wanted to stay in the individual rooms so we all gathered in the lobby and watched the game with our own food and drinks! The second night, the staff turned on more lights and gave us cups and napkins. every staff person went above and beyond. Everyone seemed genuinely nice. I highly recommend and think Best western should be aware of the stand out hospitality that is provided at the Philadelphia-Pennsauken hotel!
We drove up without a room because we refused to stay at the red roof studios nearby. Everyone was attentive and friendly. The only issue was all the noise between 7 and 8 am. Conveniently located near the water in Camden.
A great Hotel Friendly staff Clean Rooms The rooms are comfortable Large TV Refrigerator a little small Internet strong Close tp Philadelphia only 10 minutes Major roads Very close to shopping malls close to attractions
The staff was friendly and helpful, complimentary breakfast was good, great location, clean and comfy. I only wish there would have been a pool, but not a big deal. I would definitely stay there again.
Great Room, Big Shower, staff was always very nice when we were on the move in and out of the hotel. A nice gentlemen held the door open for us when we needed help. Even had a nice view of the highway.
The hotel is clean and very well maintained. The price is a little higher but it is worth the value. The continental breakfast is decent for the family/kids. There is no restaurant nor deli stop that is within walking distance, if you need food or something, you will need to drive a couple of miles away.Overall the hotel is nice to stay in.
I checked in here for a few nights for business. At first glimpse, the exterior of the hotel looks great, modern and updated. The rooms are that way as well. Unfortunately, that is where the good ends. The location is abysmal. There is nowhere to eat and nowhere to walk. The hotel is located in a heavy industrial area with no sidewalks. As soon as you exit the main door, you will be on a 8 lane freeway. Tons of homeless people around and one of the guest had their bike stolen, people are doing drugs in the parking lot and I did not feel safe being outside. In addition to this, the hotel staff seem oblivious to what is going on. At 10:30pm, they decided to vacuum the hallway for approximately 30 minutes, banging into the walls and being very inconsiderate. I spoke with the manager and he told me that next time they will use the sweeper, not exactly the response I expected. I will tell my company to book other accommodations next time I am here.
The rooms are quite large and kept neat and clean. The bathroom is stocked with personal care products including a shampoo and body wash dispenser in the shower. Overall, the property is maintained well.
It was an excellent stay very clean the staff was very nice and I will definitely be back soon. My wife had a good time and my kids had a good time breakfast was on the go and backed up and ready. Good
The lobby of this hotel was chic and modern and very nice. It was very different from the Best Western hotels of the past. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and check in was quick and easy. I would recommend this hotel.
Stayed a night with the family. We were in south jersey for the day and stayed the night to head up north the next morning. Overall it's a fine hotel, very clean, very new, very nice bathroom/shower, comfy bed. The only downside was the 2nd floor reeked of pot by the elevators. It stunk from the time we checked in to the time we checked out the next morning. So either there was a guest who was constantly smoking, or you have an employee smoking in the electrical room next to the elevators. They have a non smoking policy so that was annoying, I hate the smell. Overheard maid staff talking loudly in lobby about how they can't wait to “get outta here today”. Unprofessional to say in front of guests. The professionalism of the staff was kinda meh, not overly friendly I'd say but not rude either.
It's always clean the staff is so gracious the rooms always nice and clean the Corredor and staff are just amazing love this place have visited and will come visit in the future and hopefully more things open up.
Very nice hotel, excellent staff! Will stay here again. Recommend for business trips, close to Philadelphia without having to stay in the city. Staff is very accommodating and effecient. Highly recommend.
This was a wonderful place to stay, very clean great staff. MS Crystal and Ashley were very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had a great stay. One main thing I was a little upset about was the full service breakfast is still unavailable.
I have been a member for a few months now and i must say i love it. I love the employees they are so friendly and helpful. I have grown a bond with everyone that works there lol. They love my kid nice clean building and rooms spacious etc.
I had an amazing visit. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms we very well cleaned. The front desk lady Ashley was super helpful and sweet. She made sure I was all set. The breakfast in the morning was quick and easy to get.
Don't believe these reviews. I am a Diamond Select, BW top level, and this place is not good. It's relatively new. That's about it for the positives. The location is TERRIBLE. The rooms are VERY small. It is located immediately next to a noisy, loud, busy highway. One male staffer NEVER wore a mask. One female wore her mask incorrectly. Guests are not wearing mask. The in room mini fridges do NOT have a freezer. I called the front desk to see if the hotel had a freezer for a single ice pack and was told they don't. In my reservation comments I ask to be away from noise, elevators and the ice machine. Where was my first room? Immediately next to the elevators and ice machine. Room 309. I guess the front desk clerk can't read. Good to see they value my customer loyalty. On entering the first room, the hotel is apparently non smoking, it was obvious the room was smoked in. You could smell it in the hallway. I called down and got moved to a new room on the same floor. How can this hotel claim it is doing extra Covid cleaning and not get the smoke out of the room and let a guest check in? Explain that one. The second room is equally small with a strange layout. The bathroom door is literally half way up the side length of the bed. The bathroom door is a foot away from the bed. So much for privacy when in the bathroom. You can hear everything. Just weird. Who designed this place? Add in the kids playing in the halls multiple times. The constant slamming of doors. Loud talking in the halls at all hours of the night. This place has quite the low level clientele. Do yourself a favor. Don't stay here.
The staff is very friendly, rooms are clean. Grab and go breakfast consists of 1banana, muffin, granola bar and a bottle of juice or water. The only issue we had was the fire alarm went off at 4am the first night of our stay due to steam from someone's shower.
This hotel is new and clean. The location is everything. The rooms were super comfortable. Quiet and grab to go breakfast. Social distancing practiced here. We stay here again. The day staff was awesome.
This was our first time coming to NJ and our first time staying here at this location. We arrived a little before check-in we were greeted by Cherry Harris and Chris Zhou. They were both extremely nice and wonderful to work with. Chris fixed the error that was on our reservation and got us checked in and settled. Everything is extremely clean. Cherry allowed us to heat up our food and allowed our huge family to eat in the dining area. She was so kind and thoughtful and made sure that we were taking care of. Thank you both for making our stay the best.
I was very impressed with this property, it's staff, breakfast, and spacious rooms. The price was a bargain for what you got. Only issues is that since it is a newer property it proved difficult at times for Uber/Lyft/Ride share drivers since it's not always correctly on the map but that's easy to communicate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable! Perfect if you're visiting Philly and highly recommend if you don't mind staying a little outside of the city (15 minute commute tops).
We've had bad experiences with our travels to visit Philly and have had to switch hotels due to cleanliness. This hotel is so clean, so up to date (the bathroom is amazing), the staff has been so friendly. The complimentary breakfast is amazing. We came with two young kids, We will 100% stay here next time we travel from Massachusetts. I would recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to the area. Go flyers !
Rooms are well designed modern and clean. Bedding was spotless and rooms are small but well designed. Great shower with waterfall shower head. Nice bathroom natural toiletries. Internet is fast and TV is well thought out with HBO and full channel lineup. HVAC in room easy to adjust and very little sound from outside sources. Highly recommend staying on back side facing away from Route 30... Initially assigned a King size room facing Route 30 on 3rd floor adjacent to Ice Maker. Requested a change and was immediately accommodated for a 2 Queen Bed room facing rear of property. Very quiet and clean room Neighborhood is industrial with it being very difficult to find hotel entrance if arriving from Route 38 or Route 70 much easier to get into hotel from Western points. Facility is closest newer cleaner property to employer in the Camden area. Other choices in area would be Holiday Inn or Crowne Plaza but this facility worth the price for a short stay...
took a jaunt to philly to see Franklin Institute, PA academy orf fine arts, Rosenbach and the observation deck of 1 Liberty place and planted myself at this lodging. Maze of highways leading to hotel has unclear signage, you MUST follow the road split to rtes. 38/70 and then the hotel is 500 ft. on the right.Property is a 5 minute drive to the PATCO Ferry ave. station, where you can hop on for transportation to Center City the hotel the beist place to lodge on the nj side of the Delaware when visiting Philadelphia. Very nice appearance, flawless lobby presentation, great value for the cost and excellent customer service is reason enough to make this property your sole lodging choice when in the Camden area.
We stayed here and it's good. Good location. But the problem is that so many noise by the other guest room. And the breakfast that they served repeated again on the next day. We wish that they make different serve breakfast. But overall stayed,it's good and fast check-In and check-out!
I usually stay in hotels located in Mt. Laurel or Burlington. I can honestly say that I was impressed with this one. It was clean and located in a convenient location. I will stay here again in the future.
We stayed here and Glenise checked us in. She went above and beyond to help my son get a string for his hat. She could have just said she didn't have it, but instead seeked one out and had it taped to our door to find in the morning. He was elated. The breakfast attendant and check out staff were friendly as well.
Nice hotel, great customer service, excellent accommodations especially the down home breakfast. I highly recommend Best Western hotels especially the Pennsauken location for business, vacation, or just to get away from home for an overnight stay.
The overall experience from check-in to check-out was great. The room was very clean and so comfortable. The bathroom was bigger than most, and the large walk-in shower was amazing (maybe add frosting to the door for privacy). We would absolutely stay here again.
The hotel was modern and incredibly clean, rooms look just like the photo. The site I used to book my room messed up my booking and it was handled fast and courteously. The staff was amazing! Extremely welcoming and accommodating. The continental breakfast was good—better than I've seen before. One of those hotels where you just don't want to leave
This is a very affordable and nicely appointed hotel near Philadelphia. The hotel is located along a busy road and can be hard to reach if you don't pay attention to your GPS. If you don't want a room facing the main road, you have to select a double room. All king rooms face the main road, all double rooms face the back of the hotel. Overall this was a great stay. Was able to reach Center City Philadelphia via car in 15-20 minutes and PHL airport in 20-25 minutes.
First of all Its a bit misleading for people outside USA This Hotel is Actually in New Jersey, Which means you have to use uber or public transport to get into Philadelphia. That being said It was a nice clean hotel with extremely Friendly Helpful staff who were always really accommodating. The breakfast was nice and well presented with a good overall selection.
Our stay here was one of our best hotel stays. We're from Idaho and came for our son to see some specialist doctors. Glynis at the front desk, the manager, and all the staff were so helpful with our needs - giving us food recommendations (delicious), helping us with special requests, and just going above and beyond. Would strongly recommend!
Hotel was very nice. The lobby and staff we're very nice. The room was very comfortable and bathroom was very nice. Super clean. Breakfast was really good. Lots of hot options as well as muffins, bagels etc.
This hotel was very nice and very close to the downtown Philadelphia experience. If and when I visit I will place this hotel at the top of my list as far as spending the night Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, couldn't have asked for a better experience
Brand new stylish hotel just minutes from Old City Philadelphia across the Ben Franklin Bridge. Check in and Check out were fast. Room was spacious and new. Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was quiet and comfy. Just what you want in a hotel.
The Best Western was clean, plenty of parking space, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, 24/7 coffee (so important), great breakfast, good wi-fi, and very close to the Patco train station, Ferry Ave stop with free parking.
Very nice staff and hotel and location, I had an overall good experience with this hotel and it's close to nearby restaurants. Fd th GB cfg fgh dffgg ddfh xdtg ddf TV cfg jkjj xd FCC ddtyhh fffj in ddtg
We stayed at this Best Western Plus for four days in September 2019 when I attended a conference in Philadelphia. If you have problems booking a reasonable-priced hotel near the Philadelphia city center, this Best Western Plus is by far the best choice. I took Lyft every day and cost about $19 per ride (one way). It is still far better than staying at a Philadelphia downtown hotel paying outrageous parking fees. The hotel offers up to date amenities and services, including a well-equipped gym, hearty breakfast, guest laundry (only $1.50 per wash or dry), and a small convenience store. The hotel room is spacious and clean with up to date appliances. The hotel staff is accommodating and friendly. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
This is a newer hotel, everything was great with the room and the facilities. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Free breakfast was very good. Our room did face the highway but we weren't bothered (coudn't hear) any noise interrupting our sleep at night. In the morning you will hear motorcycles! It is very close to the historic district of Philadelphia but it is a $5 bridge toll (westbound only - free eastbound). The entrance/exit directly to/from the hotel and the freeway is a very tough go. We would recommend the back entrance but even our GPS was very confused by this (based on the street address it directs you to the highway side). My only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is the complete lack of dining nearby. Despite the proximity to d/t Philly, the location I would rate as "poor".
I needed a handicap room but none were available. The receptionist knew of my need and asked other guests ff they would be willing to swap for the room that i did reserve. Happily one guest did not need the handicap room and was happy to get the room that I reserved because she had small children and it was better for her. Every one was happy. I was called the night before my departure. Great.
I could not recommend this hotel enough. We stayed two nights for a concert in Philly and had a wonderful experience. The staff was so kind, welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is so clean and professional looking. I wish we could have stayed longer, and I would/will absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arises. I was pleasantly surprised at the service and can honestly say that it drastically exceeded my expectations. Not to mention, the breakfast was wonderful! Highly, highly recommend staying here.
This is a very nice clean hotel and everyone in the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean as was the room itself and the bed was comfortable. I stayed at this hotel for three nights. Prior to going I called to inquire about the breakfast being I have Celiac Disease which is a gluten intolerance. The man at the front desk stated that there were gluten free options and had I called sooner than the day before I was arriving he would have tried to have more gluten free options sent to the hotel for me. The lady who worked the breakfast area knew about my gluten intolerance and the one morning potatoes were not a breakfast option she made a plate of potatoes just for me so I could have it with my bacon and eggs. There were many options for breakfast and the food was good. My husband and I went with another couple who were equally satisfied with the hotel. It was a pleasure staying there and will stay there the next time I am in the area. My niece lives nearby and I told her that if anyone ever came to visit her and wanted to stay in a hotel that I highly recommend this hotel.
Stayed for 3 nights, wonderful, no complaints. Clean room breakfast was good, coffee available all day. Smooth check in, air conditioner worked well. Our room was facing the highway but I didn't hear any traffic noise.
Pros: - Hotel is new, so room was clean and in very good shape as expected. - Comfortable beds with firm mattress for good night's sleep, although I found the pillows to be a bit too firm. - Good Location as far as access to Philadelphia, but it is located at the intersection of several main roads, so it may be confusing for out-of-towners. - Refrigerator in the room - Onsite coin operated washer and dryer - Good quality HDTV with a good selection of cable TV channels - Bathroom had a decent amount of shelf space for toiletries. Shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. - Hot Breakfast is included which had a typical selection. Also, coffee is available in the lobby all day long. - Friendly and helpful staff Cons: - Window did not open, so had to rely on the A/C for fresh air. - No microwave in the room, but there is a common one to use in the breakfast area.
Great hotel, would 100% stay again if in the area! Seems newly renovated hotel with ample parking. Room, sheets and towels were clean. Staff was friendly, especially Crystal at check-in and the lady that took care of the morning breakfast. Good free breakfast. Slept well and quiet hotel.
This is not a luxury hotel, but it is so clean and well maintained. We've stayed here a few times. The quality is always tops. The breakfast is genuinely good and can satisfy healthy eaters as well as more traditional types. Coffee is good. All fine.
This hotel was bit noisy due to it's proximity to NJ suburban highway traffic but the facilities and staff make up for those shortcomings. This place is a few months old and the staff is still learning but they care and showed a great deal of enthusiasm to make our stay pleasant.
Actually had to walk out there in the middle of the night to ask people to quiet down. Then had to follow up with a phone call because it was so noisy!! My brother changed rooms because of the noise from the highway also.
The hotel over all was pretty good. My only complaint was the water pressure in the shower and the excess of noise. I travel for work frequently (almost every week) and would say this was probably one of the noisiest hotels. This was mainly due to poor sound proofing. Apart from that, I have no complaints. It's only 10-15 from a lot of shopping areas and restaurants. Bring a pair of ear plugs and you'll be good to go. I can not comment on breakfast, didn't partake in it for the time I was there.
Went on a Sunday evening for one night, and had a pleasant stay. Hotel is relatively new. Room was clean and up to date. Beds were comfortable and clean. Front desk was cordial and helpful (they helped me locate my rewards number). Our room faced the back of the hotel which was not noisy; it appeared better than the front which faced the highway. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of options. They also offer a laundry room, which appeared to be very convenient. Hotel is approximately 10 min from downtown philly. Consider booking the hotel on the BW website where they offer a discount for AAA. The only negative was the elevators. They were slow and appeared to be service elevators, not a big deal. Also, water pressure was on the low side.
Stayed at the BWP here and there is an issue with directions in finding it. They give the address of a certain place but when trying to route there it keeps coming up with a different town. Listed as Pennsauken but comes up with Merchantville when looking up on GPS, Iphone and mapquest. Very trying as its located extremely close to multiple Route Junctions cloverleaf, If you ever go here you'd do well to look up the street as listed and the junction with Airport Highway which will hopefully get you there. Directions need serious updating. 42 years of marriage almost ended that day.
The hotel staff is friendly, the breakfast is generous, parking is free, and the location is convenient to major roads, somewhat outside of the city center. It isn't very far to the main attractions in the city.
My family and I recently stayed here for one night so we can visit Philadelphia. Geez was that a mistake. This hotel was supposedly just opened 3 months ago and it was filthy. The only pleasant thing about this hotel the clerk at the front desk. She was very kind. We finally checked in and after getting into our room there was garbage and hairs everywhere in the bed and in the showers. Also the mirrors in the bathroom were splattered with spit and toothpaste from the previous guest. We called the front desk and they came up to see the room and were even disgusted. They moved us to a different room down the hall which was a little cleaner but not by much. I really hope the cleaning staff gets their stuff together on how to clean better. I cant say I would ever come back here.
I recently stayed two nights at this hotel, room 209 to be exact. First the pros, the staff is customer service oriented and goes above and beyond. I was attending a graduation at UPenn and the hotel was a 15-20 minute drive to Philly. Even with a GPS I tend to get lost (I don't have a sense of direction). The staff were quite helpful in providing directions, stating just call the front if I get lost and they will help. Everyone had a ready smile and guests were promptly. The hotel is new and therefore does not have any wear or tear. Breakfast was ok...I've had better and fresher at other Best Western Plus hotels and their competitors (sausage on both days was oily and the eggs were from a carton, coffee was fresh but the cups they provided were quite small, the muffins were pretty good, they also had the waffle maker which I did not utilize...again, overall it was okay. My room was new and clean but small...it felt cramped. Based on my experiences at other Best Western Plus hotels I expected a bit more room. Bathroom was nice and spacious; maybe the bathroom should have been slightly smaller so the room could have been bigger. But since I spent the majority of the day at the graduation the size of the room did not phase me...Bed was comfy and so were the pillows. The major gripe I have is the noise from the road. My room was facing the highway and whenever a truck drove by I not only heard it but felt the vibration. I arrived Sunday evening and left this morning (Tuesday); I did not get one restful night's sleep. My room was by the elevator and I never heard it, nor did I hear the opening and closing of neighboring doors in my section, or anyone's tv volume turned up (Game of Thrones finale)...as I'm writing this review I'm thinking all of the above might have been grounded because of the noise level from the highway. Starting around 930/10 PM the flow of trucks waned and would start-up at 5:30/6 AM...I was jolted awake both mornings by the trucks driving by and the vibrations. I have stayed at lower levels at various hotels in other cities facing the street but they've always had soundproof windows...this Best Western Plus does not. If they say they do then I recommend hotel management schedule an overnight stay in room 209...I'm sure after one night they'll contact a contractor to install the soundproof/noise reduction windows (I don't know if that will help with the vibrations of trucks passing by). FYI, the rooms at the back of the hotel might be better with noise but I cannot confirm that is the case. I am from NYC so if I'm complaining about noise and vibrations from the ongoing onslaught of trucks driving by that is saying quite a lot. In addition, I'm a deep sleeper so combine that with being from NYC; I thought I was immune to traffic noise but this stay proved my wrong. Would I stay at this hotel again or refer family/friends...probably not. If this hotel was in another location would I stay there again or refer family/friends... based on the friendliness of the staff and newness/cleanliness of the hotel I would. Unfortunately, I did not get a decent night's sleep because of the noise and vibrations from the trucks driving by so I am giving this hotel 3 stars.
This is a brand new hotel across the river from Philadelphia. I spent a week at this hotel while attending a convention in Philly it provided convenient access to the convention center in south Philadelphia roughly 15 minutes during rush hour. Lots of restaurants nearby and a free breakfast every morning.
Brand new (less than few months old) motel 15-mins outside Philly's Historical district. All FREE: parking, hi-speed internet & hot breakfast. Motel is all new, modern rooms & quiet. Small community living room downstairs. Staff is just GREAT. I can choose anywhere stay on business, & recommend this bkz of the $$ VALUE!
Marina was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. She told us about train service to Philadelphia (PATCO), Wegmans, how to get to the hotel easily (this is not an easy property to get to using standard mapping services). She adjusted our reservation so that we could check in early and proceed with our visit early. She and the other staff we encountered including the manager, housekeeping and a corporate person were always friendly and helpful. The staff and the cleanliness and appearance of the facility made this a very nice stay. Access to Philadelphia via PATCO with free parking at the station was easy and fast after getting directions from Marina. Those directions made getting everywhere easier.
Hotel was very clean. All staff were friendly, helpful, but also professional. Traffic noise might be an issue for some travelers, as hotel is right on a busy main road. Overall, a great experience. Will definitely consider staying there again.
Property is new and really nice. Just what I've come to expect from best western. A few things : staff are still in training so they're a bit slow. Nice but slow. Also the location is a bit weird and hard to get to (located on a one way highway). And some riff raff hanging around the parking lot late at night. Breakfast was great and rooms extremely clean. Recommend.
don't miss the porperty when in the philadelphia area, conveniently located to PATCO and shopping. this property is brand new, excellent functioning amenities especially the HIGH speed internet, exercise equipment in the fitness center and great room decor. all make for a very pleasant stay and great value for the price.
Just returned from a trip to Philadelphia and to save on expensive hotels and parking we stayed on the Jersey side. Very nice smaller hotel. Just opened last week which I loved since everything was clean and new. Check in and out was the only issue because they are training the staff so it's a slow process. I'm sure that will improve. Nice hot breakfast included- scrambled eggs, sausage, hot oatmeal, make your own waffles along with 9 toppings. Juice, coffee, cereal, breads, bagels. Nothing fancy but tasty and very convenient. The staff is very nice and helpful. Free coffee in lobby 24/7. Rooms were nice, beds comfortable and plenty of nice pillows. At $89/night we definitely enjoyed our stay and would visit their again if in the area.
My family left for a family trip in New Jersey and we stayed here for a night. The hotel is brand new, and the rooms are very clean with excellent service. The rooms and service were well worth the price. Our family had a very enjoyable stay.
