Best Western Bordentown Inn

I arrived at the hotel at 9:30pm with the intention of enjoying a relaxing hot bath and getting a good night's sleep before an early morning conference. However, my stay turned into a nightmare. I must commend the clerk at the front desk for her kindness and professionalism. She took the time to accompany me to each of the the first room after I raised the hygienic concerns, and then the 2nd, and then the 3rd, and she was apologetic for the state of the rooms. Her exceptional customer service deserves recognition and perhaps even a raise. Unfortunately, I must express my disappointment with the housekeeping staff responsible for the cleanliness of the rooms. It is evident that there is a serious issue within the hotel, as all three rooms I was given were in a deplorable condition. The first room had bright yellow hardened, stale urine on the toilet base and what appeared to be vomit stains on the floor near the bathroom entrance. Additionally, there were human hairs in the sink basin, which was not clean at all. The second room, although the clerk believed it to be clean and unoccupied, was clearly not cleaned. The sheets and blanket were disheveled as if someone had slept in the bed, and housekeeping had clearly skipped this room entirely. In the third room, there were crusty yellow stains of urine around the toilet seat, including underneath the seat and on the lid. There was also an unidentifiable brown substance on the side of the dresser. The clerk was understanding and walked through each room with me to verify my concerns. She handled the situation with grace, despite having to answer for the shortcomings of the housekeeping staff. I also observed that rooms had been reserved for military personnel, and it is disheartening to think that they were subjected to such substandard conditions. The government deserves a refund, and our military personnel deserve better treatment. Unless there are significant changes in management and improvements in the housekeeping department, I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel. My overall experience was a big THUMBS DOWN.

We love the location and rooms but the staff is incredibly rude and the washer ruined our clothes poor communication and just so many issues September we had issues went back and had issues this time too

Very clean rooms. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Exterior was well lit, we felt safe. Across the street was a Wawa so this was convenient as well. We stayed there twice in one week and found same excellent service on both occasions.

Good bang for your buck type of hotel. Needed place to stay in between Philly and Newark. Very solid hotel choice. Bed is a bit stiff but staff was really great. Would honestly suggest for a short trip.

Amazing place to stay. Very clean rooms. My partner and I first visited in November 2023 and has been visiting still. It's very quiet and you can request certain room number if you want. Front desk staff is amazing.

Rainy day no pool stay away from this hotel!!! especially if you have kids! Booked this hotel because six flags is close by but we knew 12/27 was going to be a rain out and six flags closed but we have indoor pool and sauna for kids which we love and have been to . Guess Again Pool Closed!! Sauna disrepair for months

Hotel was very dusty and had Strong Odor in the room No Hot Water in both our rooms for family of five. We made it through one night of hell and booked another hotel in near are for 2nd night stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Not very nice. Room was very compact and was a weird shape with very poor layout. Bed was tiny and uncomfortable. 1 towel in room on arrival what was soaking wet. TV was at a weird angle and was using analog signal what was very fuzzy and cut off most of the picture. Was on upper level round the back was told to park around the back but realised that was 2 flights of stairs and was an area not covered but any lighting or cameras where if parked on other side was one flight of stairs and there was cameras and lights. Also some questionable characters hanging around the stairway with a strong odour. Very much only stay if no where else especially for price

I visited this hotel August 5th with family we rented a 4 room. My room there was a loud noise in the bathroom all night. When I woke up the bathroom floor had water all over it coming through the walls. My sister-n-law and brother had blood on their sheets. I contacted customer service and corporate and to no avail they did not compensate us in any way! I will not be staying at Best Western again!

This was my first time staying here,I certainly was looking forward to my get away. However this turned out to be a nightmare from long check in having to switch rooms 3 times before getting things right. My wifi did not work,I had to sit on the phone with there internet partners on my vacation and still no resolution. The jacuzzi in my room did not work properly. When you press the button the water shoots out very strong wetting up the majority of the floor and the sprout seemed to be dirty when in use. The microwave wasn't cleaned as well. Once again I'm highly upset and disappointed in my stay. I was looking to just being able to relaxed for the weekend 2 hours away from home.

I've stayed here a few times for outings in the area. The rooms are always clean, staff is friendly. Close to different places of interest. It's also easy to get in and out of the parking lot. There's a WAWA right across from the Bet Western for anything you forgot to bring with you.

We stopped at this hotel for its convenient placement rather than by design. We were pleasantly surprised. Even late on a Friday night off Mother's Day weekend, they had a handicap accessible room available for $125. We would have preferred a king-size bed but were certainly able to make do with 2 double beds. The lobby smelled a little musty, probably due to the proximity of the indoor pool and hottub nearby, which were sadly not available for use, apparently awaiting inspection after refurbishment The room, however, was spotlessly clean with almost austere decor. The mattresses were firm, which was fine, but the pillows were more firm than I would have liked. The a/c made a strange sound every time it cycled on, a sound something like an asthmatic baby goat. Yes, I had quite a few sleepless moments to analyze it. That said, it did keep the room a comfortable temperature. The shower was great. Convenient adjustable height for the shower head and could be used as a handheld sprayer. Parking was not very close to the room. It was very difficult to see the tiny room numbers to find our room. But again, we were able to make it work. Hot breakfast was included and was included and we enjoyed the food. Especially the made to order pancake machine. The scrambled eggs were not good but the sausage patties were very good. The check out process was quick and easy. Was it a GREAT place? No but it was very adequate for our needs.

You get what you pay for pool was advertised as open got there closed so was hot tub. Left one day asked for more towels change sheets got neither. Girl at front desk. Rude. Lites out side rooms keeped flickering. Person staying there keeped walking pass window all hrs. Creepy

The overall hotel was great, and the staff was super friendly. Very easy to get to and a Wawa right across the street that you can walk to. Breakfast was hot and a good choice of options. The pool and Jacuzzi was clean.

This is an older hotel that has been nicely updated. The rooms are small but clean. There is quite a bit of traffic noise in the front rooms. Overall, a no frills hotel that is clean and a great value.

terrible bed for a king and flat pillows, king beds should have better quality mattress and pillows. i did not get what i paid for, paid king size and received zero quality bed and pillows . i would never stay there again

Room was very dirty, with broken items. Bathroom was most disguising of all. We were travelling thru and need to rest our heads but spent all the time there creeped out. We did not opt for the breakfast as I couldn't image with the dirtyness of the place

From the moment of check-in, the staff was friendly and courteous. I mentioned I was handicapped and had problems with stairs, they gave me a ground-floor room where the parking was right across from the room to minimize my walking. The breakfast they put out was basic but good, everything was hot as should be, and the staff kept everything topped off and cleaned, Sunday morning it was quiet. The room was clean and looked like it had been updated recently. Looked great, bed was comfortable.

My wife and I came for two nights to celebrate our anniversary. The room was badly indeed of repair, had poor lighting, wifi didn't work one of the nights, and the in-room jacuzzi wasn't very clean when we got there. The bed was very comfortable and the tv worked, but the bathroom flooded twice, the heater made annoying sounds, and the floor was all cracked, meaning it was a bad idea to walk around without shoes on. I would not recommend this hotel until they renovate it. The price is too expensive for what we were given.

I chose the Best Western because of its location to family members I was visiting. I stayed for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday). The room was dirty. There were particles and debris on the floor, and a bug was smashed into the wall near the microwave. The room refrigerator was noisy when the compressor turned on, so I unplugged it. The air conditioning unit had a broken front panel, but was operational. I tried both nights to connect to the WiFi, and both nights it didn't work (iPhone 13 Pro). On the first night, there were guests (I assume, or possibly hotel staff that resides in the hotel) blasting music until 11 pm, which was audible over the air conditioner and TV in my room. The bed was sunken in from use and the pillows were too small. The bathroom was tiny and the toiled was directly in front of the shower (very cramped). Would not recommend. The clerks at the desk were helpful, but that was the highlight of it all.

We traveled in a group to this hotel. 2 out of the 4 rooms were filled with bugs and cobwebs. They supposedly only had 1 other room available so one group was able to switch. The other had to stay in their room which has stink bugs in the bed. No one around to change the sheets they had to wait for someone to be able to come at least bring clean sheets. Our room had no phone, no coffee pot in the coffee maker and the shower doors didn't close properly. The room looked nice but seems like they just made cosmetic changes and nothing else.

The room was small and dark. There was no room in the bathroom, making changing difficult. They "renovated" but really a lot of things had a cheap paint over job on doors and frames and the paint seemed to be chipping. The shower leaked water on the floor, not a good seal and no space to put soaps. The vinyl flooring was not sealed down, where the vinyl wood was bubbled up.

This hotel worked fine for our overnight stay. The room was a little run down with the floor tiles peeling but it seems they are making upgrades. The bed was comfy and smelled clean. Staff checking is in was polite and helpful.

We had to leave a different hotel and this was the closest, by far the BEST hotel experiance we ever had! The room was amazing, and the ladies at the front desk were amazing! We will use this hotel in the future!!

The room was spacious with the two beds, desk area, great kitchenette, and a sitting area. Bathroom was small (no tub for younger kids). The floor was filthy - it turned out feet/socks black. No response to our request for it to be cleaned. The room smelled of stale smoky like it had been a smoking room awhile ago.

I'm a diamond member, 63 with bad knees so requested first floor since there isn't an elevator. Was given a second floor room and told I couldn't get switched because they were sold out. It was 3:15 so most of the rooms weren't occupied yet so they could have, should have accomadeted me.

My first time staying in a BestWestern & won't be my last. The room was a great size, it was clean, with no bad scent, bathroom smelled fresh & was clean, the furnitures modern, clean, overall I was pleasantly surprised & cost equated the overall quality!!

Originally from the area & due to health issues I was in the process of relocating thus the need for a hotel. Due to my limited resources it was about the availability thus having to hotel hop. This was my third hotel and it should've been my original. I will be back this week.

The management appears to be putting some dollars into renovations, however, at this point it's still lipstick on a pig. The rooms appear to be clean and modern at first glance. The mattresses are very hard and the blankets are thin (no comforter/duvet/bedspread at all) and that coupled with my HVAC unit giving up the ghost in the middle of the night made for a very uncomfortable, frigid night. I gave up fiddling with the heater and put all my clothes back on to try and catch a little more sleep at 3:30 am after 18+ hours in the car. Speaking of things that are thin, the walls and windows let any and all sounds travel right through. I will say that the in-room fridge and microwave were appreciated. The pool was closed for renovations, and there simply are no conference facilities, business center, or BBQ facilities. Not even a place to sit outdoors. I mean, there's a grassy area in the back with some rickety picnic tables but it's unclear who the "NO TRESSPASSING" sign is meant for. I didn't realize this was a pet-friendly hotel. Lots of small yappy dogs running about. The clientele this place attracts is... well, I'm just going to say that I'm 900% sure I saw more than one John move in and out of the place. Which -- hey cool, whatever, but there's a certain kind of joint that facilitates those kinds of activities and this is definitely one of them. This was not what I had in mind after traveling halfway across the country for a family funeral. The front desk staff was apathetic, just over the line into incompetence. We tried to check in at 3:00 but many of the rooms weren't cleaned yet (did I mention that mine had, erm, hairs all over the shower and toilet?) and they struggled to find two rooms anywhere near our other family members' rooms. They left us to stand in silence for a good 10 minutes while two people stared at a screen and a map. We thought we had come to a consensus on which two rooms would be booked but after more standing around/staring at the screen we finally suggested they figure it out and we'd come back in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later we went back and they handed us keys for two entirely different rooms nowhere near each other or anyone else. Breakfast was meager. Coffee was awful. We checked out early.

When I booked room two months ago I did so with indoor pool fitness center included. When arrived. Was told both where closed room looked nothing like photo security lites outsides rooms flashing off and on all nite Person who lives there up walking pass window all nite. stopped at front desk asked sheets be changed. New towels came back 10 hrs later. Nothing done

I chose this inn because I was part of a male chorus performing in Bordentown, and most members were saying there for the weekend. At first glance I was disappointed. The office building is separate from the guest rooms, concrete structure that looks like a wheel of cheese. The rear entrance was locked, an annoyance. The desk attendant was not very. My room was on the third floor and there was no elevator. "If this is a Best Western, what must the Worst Western be line," I wondered as I trudged around the cheese wheel to the block of rooms. A closer look was not encouraging. The entrance to the guest rooms was through the door to the guest laundromat. The floor was worn and dingy, and there was a puddle in front of the washing machines. With some of my luggage in one hand, leaving the other free to grasp the single handrail so i could haul myself up the stairs, I climbed upstairs, It was a warm day, and guests sat in chairs in front of their open doors, enjoying each others' company. When I found the door and opened it, I was struck dumb! My room looked as if it had been "zapped" by a good fairy. Everything looked fresh and clean. The walls and ceiling had been recently painted and the furniture looked new. It was ffurnished with two queen beds, a dresser unit with three drawers and a desktop, a floor lamp,two chairs, and a 32-inch, wall-mounted television set. There was a closet with double doors, containing an ironing board and iron. It the right of the closet was an alcove with an undercounter cupboard and refrigerator. A microwave oven and coffee making equipment and supplies sat on the counter. The adjacent wall had a full length mirror. The bathroom was small, but well furnished and the fixtures were new. However, there were no hand rails. Normally, one would find a telephone and a large folder with an ersatz leather folder describing the various services and amenities. That was not the case here, because there were not many amenities to describe. There was a reading chair and lamp in the corner next to the HVAC unit. The picture window could be obscured by translucent and opaque shades. As a single traveler, the room suited me just fine. At night, it was necessary to draw down the blackout shade because the outside was surrounded by lights that were normally off, but flashed on all at once whenever anyone walked across the parking lot. Outside noise did not penetrate, but the bathroom fan and HVAC were quite noisy. In the morning, I looked forward to the free breakfast. I walked around the big cheese and through the front door to the dining room inside. There were hot and cold beverages, cold cereal, some baked goods, and apples - no bananas. The dining room was furnished with square tables and chairs. The wall and ceiling had been recently painted and the laminated wooden structure was well finished. Unfortunately, the rear door to the parking lot was fitted with a red alarm that would go off if someone trie to open the door. There was a room with a pool, but that was closed, still under renovation. I stayed at the Best Western for two nights, but the room was not made up between them. I suppose rooms are only refreshed between guests. I left a tip, nevertheless. I did not converse with anyone on the staff. The place seems to be under new management who are trying to make improvements. There is still a lot to be done on the common areas. I wish them success, but the lack of an elevator could sink the enterprise.

For the price I paid, I would have expected the indoor pool to have water in it and the exercise room to be open. I shared my room with brown ants. They didn't bite, but could be controlled with ant bait.

Hotel needs maintenance, bathroom door had to be slammed open and shut, light was out in room when we arrived, water stains on the walls of the room, pool was being remodeled and not advertised as such.

I've stayed at this hotel several times for work and was above most other hotels. Recently, this hotel was renovated and made it even better then it was before. The customer service is very good and the location is perfect.

It may not look like much from the outside, but the rooms were modern and clean. I would have absolutely no problem returning to this location in the future, which I very likely will do in the future.

My stay at this hotel was HORRIBLE! There was a roach in the closet of my first room . The clerk really did not show any concerns just said she'll change my room . Didn't apologize for the inconvenience or anything. The second room was just as worst with dead stink bugs and love ones flying around in the room. I mentioned it to the next shift and again my issues were not addressed like they should have been. Not to mention the pool and breakfast that was advertised online was not what I got. Instead I was told that there is no breakfast. The pool is not open and the only ice machine was not working.

They recently updated their room, but the mattress was horrible, and neither my partner or I was able to get a good nights sleep. The shower door was put on the wrong way, so you had to step over the toilet to get into the shower.

Do not stay here unless you want to sleep in a musty, non-compliant COVID, bed like a rock room which in the end will not matter because you WILL NOT be getting any sleep in this inconsiderate, disruptive clientele where the hotel representatives could care less.

I made my reservation on the Best Western web page. The room picture shows carpeting, my room had fake hardwood made from plastic. The first morning I went down for the continental breakfast, only to be told "we have not done a breakfast in o er 3 years". As a business traveler, I had need for the business center, only to be told that they do not have one. In. Y room I found candy wrappers laying on the floor and a left over Longhorn rib dinner in the refrigerator. When I brought this to the attention of the gentleman who said he was the manager his original comment was " I wi.l gi e you some point sharing". When I said I do t want the point I just want to make you aware, he said I will talk to the cleaning lady. When I checked out the wrapper and food were still in the room. I have had to stay at Motel 6's that were cleaner. My very first walking impression of the room was Motel 6.

The room was very unclean and the bed incredibly uncomfortable. The outlay of the rooms was very confusing and I couldn't find my room number, I made like three trips strong the property looking. Also, seems to have a garbage problem, as my room looked out on massive dumpster that was overflowing and never emptied.

When we got there we found that the room was in okay shape it was older the bed was a solid piece of cement it started getting dark and we've been in the room a couple hours and realize that the light from the outside transformed our room to daylight when it was night time we assumed that it was going to shut off at 10:00 cuz it was directly in our room we finally called and after being there so many hours they said oh we can give you a new room we just modernize your curtains and that doesn't block the light we just said will suck it up and get out of there early and we did we left the property at 3:00 a.m. will never go back to that place

It was clear that the room was barely touched bybthe cleaning people. There was still trash, dirty floors/counters, dried urine on the toilet seat. Absolutely disgusting, never again. The heating/cooling unit made a loud whistling and knocking sound the entire night. I should have just slept in my car. Unfortunately at the time ofnmy check in, it was too late to find another hotel. NEVER again

On the outside, this is a pretty nice looking facility. They are undergoing a renovation and don't have a breakfast or an elevator. The staff was definitely not friendly but we're getting used to that. They assigned a room that when we went to unload the bags, the door was open and there were no sheets on the bed. We returned to the front desk and were informed that "I guess it will be another 1/2 hour or so". We left to eat and when we returned the room was ready. When we entered the room it was like an icebox. I couldn't get the heater to turn on so I called the front desk for help. She informed me that she didn't know why it wasn't working and stated that she would give us an extra blanket. I told her that wasn't going to work and asked if there was a maintenance man on site. When she told me there was I asked if he could come and look at it. Really!!!!!!!!! Why didn't she offer that?????? After almost an hour, still no maintenance man so my wife went to the front desk to inquire about it. Five minutes later she returned crying hysterically telling me that they had kicked us out!! She said she told them she wasn't happy and wanted something done about the cold room. The manager charged out of the room, said he didn't like her accent (she's Russian) and told her we had 5 minutes to get out or he would call the police. I went to talk to him to find out what was going on but he refused to come out of his office and told me, quote, "get your ass out of my hotel". I asked him to discuss the issue with me but he refused and stated he was calling the police. He refused to give me his name and I returned to the room, started packing, and there was a knock on the door. When I answered there were three police officers. We had a conversation about what had happened, they were very pleasant. The bottom line is, I have been a Vice President of two companies and traveled extensively for over 25 years. I have NEVER heard nor seen of anything that approached that level of unprofessionalism and incompetence. The manager obviously had zero customer service skills and it's unbelievable to me that he could possibly be employed. Clearly, we will never stay at another big western again and I would discourage anyone from staying at this facility.

Maybe I didn't read enough reviews, but I didn't get the memo about the motel-style exterior hallways. Just as well. If I'd known, I probably would've reserved elsewhere and missed out on a brand new, completely redone hotel room. If you are a fan of midcentury modern decor -- not tired, actual furnishings from the 1960s -- this Best Western is for you. Note that almost every interior photo on this site is out of date. The rooms are like walking into the final minutes of an HGTV renovation show. The revamp was so recent that there were stacks of mattresses and boxsprings in the hotel dumpster, which frankly, are visible from only a few of the rooms. But everyone keeps their shades down with other guests able to walk by on the other side of the window. Actually, few did during my stay. The room was clean and quiet. I slept well there and felt safe. The bathroom, now modern black & white style with a big shower and no tub, was clean and easy to use. There is a kitchen-ish area at the back of the room adjacent to the bathroom entrance. My tip, if you can't get a light to turn on when you enter, is to walk straight back to the fridge area and find the switch. The floor lamp had been turned off on the pole, and the switches on the two sconces are impossible to find (with the shade pointing down). If you arrive after dark, start from the back. Last but not least, the front desk staff members I spoke with at check-in and check-out were friendly and knowledgeable. Given the flack they must receive in these Covid times about the lack of breakfast service (not a concern for me) and indoor pool (might have been nice), I was especially impressed by their professionalism. My one mystery is why, with all the interior renovations, the hotel didn't upgrade access to the second floor in the back of the property. It's silly to have to go down before going up, especially with luggage. There are no elevators, so make sure the hotel knows if mobility is an issue.

The pool, fitness area and breakfast were all unavailable. I found this out after the room was reserved and paid for. No discount was offered in spite of these missing things that were clearly advertised as part of the deal. There are other places to stay close by that are cheaper and have all these options.

My wife called front desk Manger answered and she asked if somebody could clean the room we paid for three nights and he said I told your husband we don't clean the room unless you ask then my wife said doesn't make sense and he said well leave and she said we paid in full already for three days and the manager called the police and we had to leave this was all over the phone think so ridiculous never coming back but still can't believe this plus they over charged me when I first checked in and also wanted to change the price even though it was reserved awhile back.

I had stayed at this hotel in previous years. When I was looking for a hotel to stay at while I visited family I hesitated to book here. When I checked in I was informed that the rooms had been redone. It was a perfect stay! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are very clean and well kept.

Manager was entire problem. Jason Frank is his name. I asked in initial check in when cleaners comer through to provide service, was told 2-3 days. 14 day stay, not one housekeeper showed. I came to inquire, he rudely intervened his front desk staff to tell me as a military person to stop complaining and clean my own room due to low staffing and that i "am grown and take care of it myself". He also mentioned due to low staff housekeeping only shows every 7 days. But for my 14 day stay, not once did i receive visit. There was hair in my bed of a female (not mine as i am short hair male), a roach in my bed, uneven door, broken fridge and door. Internet was terrible, never connected and if did, disconnected constantly. But i could forgave all that without the attack from the manager, JASON FRANK. Expect to clean your own room, wash your own towels, and take out your garbage, because its your job at a hotel to do so.

Rooms were clean and modern. Staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the lack of a breakfast complicated things a bit since there were few gluten-free options at local restaurants. Nevertheless we would gladly return.

Front desk guy Craig was so rude and unhelpful about them not serving breakfast . the website states they have breakfast but they Do Not and have not first 16 months according to Craig and that's that.. Also the pool is empty so there's no swimming. Our room was very nice and updated but there was no toilet paper in the room at all and the phone had no cord so we could not use it.

We stayed during their renovation process and was bummed out that the pool and other amenities wasn't available but it was a good stay. The jacuzzi is amazing. The staff was ok had a bit of an attitude during check in but I believe it was jus frustration because of the renovation. But the manager was great during check out

I stay this Best Western in my travels up n down the coast, it's conveniently located just of the New Jersey Turnpike. My room was very modern, comfortable and the front desk associate was very helpful.

First, there will not be a next time. Second, if there are services offered on your website for each location (in this case pool and breakfast) you should make sure that the website is updated if these services become not available. Second, the rooms at this particular location were in extreme disrepair and utterly filthy. When we arrived, one of the rooms we booked had been slept in, the bathroom had hair all over in and the trash can was full. When a call was made to the office to have the room cleaned, we were told that she was unable to help us without manager approval. When my kids went to the lobby in the morning for breakfast they were told that this location hadn't served breakfast in over a year despite the fact that it's advertised on the site. The pool was drained..honestly, I could go on forever. Such a terrible experience.

Room was absolutely disgusting. Place is being renovated and the new rooms are nice. I had an old room. Smelled horrible and the carpet was so gross that we couldn't take our shoes off. The mattress was old and so uncomfortable that I got no sleep on it. Front desk woman couldn't program my key card. Asked to change to a newer room, switched to a room where AC wasn't working so had to go back to old room. Just a terrible experience all around. Good thing it was only 1 night.

I'm not one who gives a lot of 5's; our one night stay earn a 5 from the wonderful work of Danielle. First, the basics. Nice room, quite, clean. More space than I expected (two sinks, one outside the toilet/shower area, one in). Roomy mini-fridge. Could park close to the room. The front desk person who checked us in handled each person in front of us in a friendly and effective manner. She focused on the needs of the guests in front of us. Then it was our turn. I screwed up the reservation and I was a few days early (long story). Danielle was able to solve this problem (that was my own making). There was room at this Best Western. In just a few minutes time the old (wrong reservation was cancelled), we had a room for the night. Great customer service.

I'm confident the staff knows the AC doesn't work in the room. Was set to 60 degrees full blast upon arrival, however the room never cooled. I checked in late and I'm sure it was the last available room.

The pool is drained and there is no breakfast as listed online. Trash was piled in rocks along the storm drain outside of our room. Do not book for the pool,hot tub, and breakfast amenities. It is falsely advertised and no discount was offered. After traveling all day with small children I was offered a “no charge” refund to cancel” We were unsure where else to even go being out of town where we are not familiar with the area.

There were roaches in the room. Worst experience ever. Disgusting. I tried to speak to a manager but he was not there when I checked out and never called me back. I would never stay at any Best Western ever again.

Do yourself a favor and skip this place. I stayed here 5 years ago and it was nice and clean, now I went back and the place is a DUMP. I can say this after experiencing 3 rooms in one visit ROOM 1- Carpet smelled strongly of URINE in-between the beds, microwave was old timer style ancient. TV was grimey and wouldn't accept HDMI input that I plugged in, remote was grimey and hardly worked. Got moved to another room because of the urine. ROOM 2- Lights didn't come on when I came in, had to use my flashlight to find the lamp to turn it on, no alarm clock, phone didn't work. Bed felt broken? I just sank into it immediately and it had no bounce back at all it was like the boxspring was missing. People next to me were smoking pot outside my room and arguing loudly, asked to move because my whole room smelled like pot whenever the AC kicked in. Room 3- Much better than the others but still bad. Again lights didn't come on with master switch so I had to find the lamp in the dark. Floor felt grimey/sticky and when I got in the shower my feet were BLACK WITH DIRT, so I wiped the floors down FOUR TIMES with a soapy wash cloth. That washcloth came up brown even the 4th time, the first few times the cloth came up completely blackened. Enhanced cleaning procedures for COVID is a JOKE and a LIE here. One of the lamps doesn't work, TV is DISGUSTING it had some crusted white stuff dripped down the front, sheets had weird particles on them, showerhead has obvious mildew/mold on it and there's piles of gross dirt including finger or toenails in the corners. Floor is also falling apart (but at least it's not URINE CARPET like the first room) Sister was in the room next door and said there was yellowed TOILET PAPER sitting in the corner of her bathroom and the floors were gross in her room too with dried pee. Staff was very apologetic every time they moved me but I will NEVER EVER be staying here again. Edit: After posting this this as a google review owner did call and send a maintenance man to replace the shower head with a new one, but still worst hotel experience ever.

Room was very clean. Room staff very friendly as well as night staff. Manager helpful and accommodating to needs. Easy location right off turnpike and 295 on Rt 206. Grocery stores and restaurants near by. Rooms have microwave and refrigerator for use. Wi Fi was easy to access and worked well.

Decided to stay down south instead of driving home found a good deal.... not. No breakfast or pool due to covid not stated on website. Not much staff. Had phone ringing off the hook. Positive there is a Wawa close by for quick eats

The “non smoking” room smelled terribly of cigarettes. My room keys and remote didn't work. The air conditioner was extremely loud and the bathroom was dirty. But the worst part was the blasting music and yelling in the middle of the night.

I stayed here 2 nights the first night no deposit was mentioned or charged. Next morning I are breakfast then took my shower. Came out to find that housekeeping entered the room and stripped the bed put the pillows and bedspread on top of my suitcase. This was while I was in the shower and unaware they entered the room. I did not complain when I checked out. I had to stay another night. Made a reservation. They charged the room and then said how are you paying for the deposit? What deposit ? Incase anything is missing or damaged. I hate this and told them I do not agree with this and will not stay here again. They by charging this assume I am stealing. So i am labeled a thief. But how do i know they will return the deposit the housekeeper or other worker could take something and i get charged. Or they just dont return the deposit. They give you no reciept for the deposit or a reciept that you will get a refund. I stayed until checkout time. As i was walking out the door the phone rang. It was 11am checkout time. Front desk said checkout time is 11am. Out of all the hotels this is the only one who called to tell you it is checkout time. This is how you treat a Platinum member??

Went for a self day. Queen suite was very big. Sofa in living room very old. 2 refrigerators no bottle water very disappointed for a suite. Coffee maker, lots of towels great.Jacuzzi nice and big and work excellent. Linens could've been steam. Two 32" TV and microwave. I was sick and went straight to the sauna and throughly enjoyed it,worked perfect then back to my in room jacuzzi. Guy manager was very nice. Had to check out abruptly at 2am because of the constant noise and slamming of the doors. My room was in the back of the building don't know if they have long term guest..but for three hours I was awaken constantly. Maybe a different section of the hotel would be more peaceful.

Needing some get away time from the daily obligations of life, l opted to destress by spending some time with myself. No phone. No business. Quality time with my thoughts, reading my Bible and pampering my body with long soaks in oils and bubbles. Priceless.

My family and I stayed here for one night in January and were satisfied with our stay. The front desk associate was extremely friendly and helpful. When I arrived with my infant and entered the hotel room, it smelled faintly of smoke. I returned to the front desk and informed her of the smell. She immediately gave me a nearby new room and thanked me for bringing it to her attention. She made it clear that she wanted to rectify any issues we had during our stay. The rooms were clean and contained a mini-fridge, microwave, hair dryer, and coffee machine. The hotel is also conveniently located right across the street from a Wawa to grab snacks, or there are vending machines. Complimentary breakfast included eggs, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, and more.

I recommend EVERYONE to NOT stay here EVER. Shower was disgusting. It had hairs that were not even mine in it, and the towel rack completely broken. In our room the door didn't close right and you could see day light through it.There was dust everywhere. Unprofessional staff didn't do their work. The general manager was rude and he is a racialist. I feel sorry for anyone that stepped foot anywhere near this garbage. They ruined Best Western's brand reputation.

If your booking this hotel for the amenities, call before booking. Alot of the amenities they advertised was inaccurate, had I known that I would have booked somewhere else. Otherwise overall it was a decent hotel.

I checked into a room that smelled of strong cleaning products. It was so strong that my clothes smelled of the cleaning product. The room was dirty. A dirty towel on the bathroom floor, and a used soap as well. There was also facial hair in the sink. And there were buzzing bugs all over the room. I was able to kill 3 of them. I was so miserable therefore, didn't sleep all night and was happy when I finally saw sunlight. That meant I could get out of that terrible low class hotel. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. My only recommendation would be for the whole place to be closed down or to be remodeled and to hire better housekeepers. The only presentable room was the front lobby.

We stayed here while driving on the turnpike for Thanksgiving travel. We arrived late but checked in with no problem, other than a curt associate at the front desk. However, the room and fixtures were clearly in need of repairs. Sinks and mirrors were rusty and/or cracked. And we discovered the toilet was clogged at 5:00 AM. We called the front desk and all they could resignedly suggest was that they would "put it on the list" when the maintenance person got there in the morning. We check out and left at 7:30 with the toilet still clogged. Breakfast was OK, but given the overall impression I'd gotten to that point, I played it safe and stayed away from anything hot or cold and stuck to toast.

Extremely friendly staff and the rooms are very well kept! Rooms are easily accessible and you do not hear your neighbors at all, things are very quiet. Would definitely stay here again because you get more than what you paid for in my opinion!

This newly remodeled motel has comfortable and clean rooms and the building exterior is modern. It's located near the turnpike so expect traffic noise when outdoors, the room, however, was quiet. The internet and cable tv worked well. Breakfast was below average quality, particularly the hot items.

I needed a quick stop on my way to final destination. They held my room after midnight. The room was comfortable. A very good value for a reasonable price. I would stay here again if I were in the area and needed a place.

Easy access to historic Bordentown. A motor inn with outside access to rooms. Main lobby, welcome, and breakfast area was in an intriguing rotunda building which also housed the pool. Unique architectural layout and style.

The Hotel was better than I had expected and looks just like the pictures online. Although I only stayed for business one night, I will definitely use this hotel again, if in the area. I couldn't stay for breakfast, but understand that it is a very nice selection.

Best Western provided a home away from home. The atmosphere, the price, the caring staff and the delicious breakfast made the trip worthwhile. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Multiple times my room wasn't cleaned when I asked for it. Requested new sheets everyday, sheets were not new or fresh by any means. Microwave was broken and didn't spin. Broken AC unit, would not cool and would thump when trying to work. Bugs in the rooms.

Roaches. Need I say more? Unfortunately, there's lots to say. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. READ THIS REVIEW! I arrived at this hotel during a road trip with my family at around midnight. When we arrived, the girl at the desk was shouting at someone on the phone, with 2 guests standing at the front desk waiting to be helped. When she gets off the phone, she helps the pair in front of us, and we overhear "the room SHOULD be clean and SHOULD have towels, but it's raining out so if you need anything, you're going to have to come to me because I refuse to walk in the rain." Lovely. Now it's our turn to check in. We mentioned we we're there to check in and pulled up our confirmation. She rolled her eyes and said "yeah, I know" and then proceeded to walk away to a closet for a few minutes. She came back and said "So, your room SHOULD be clean, SHOULD have towels and SHOULD have POWER." We should've run then. We finally make it to our room and when we get there what's greeting us? Cockroaches. We left immediately. I should've known after our experience with the extremely unpleasant and rude girl at the front desk that this was a nightmare hotel. Avoid this hotel at all costs. The only plus? They gave us a refund when we called and complained the next day. But this is not about money, this is about the fact that this hotel is not somewhere I think anyone should ever have to sleep. Rudeness gets you 2 or 3 stars, so long as the hotel is clean. Roaches are the absolute last straw! STAY AWAY! That's all I can say. Learn from my experience. RUN!

Room was not very clean, sheets had stains on it. Breakfast had limited choices. Customer service is lacking, receptionist was very rude. Housekeeper opened our room twice without knocking and did not even apologize!

We went on a family vacation to six flags. The pool was slightly cold but nice place to bring kids. The breakfast was horrible. The orange juice was actually good, but the breakfast food was stale or not hot. I only got one dish that was good and that was corned beef hash. The best bet here is the white bread for toast. It is a good thing to have if nothing else's. No waffle machine. The bagels and other bread products were stale. Oatmeal is ok too. Not much choice for cereal. The rooms have no elevators and stairs to either top or bottom floors. This is a very noisy hotel, but the rooms were clean and nicely kept up.

We drove from Worcester Ma to this hotel. After the stress of the long drive and George Washington Bridge, we definitely needed a good relaxing comfortable night. We got that with Best Western. The room was nice, staff was friendly and helpful. Location was excellent as it was just minutes from Six Flags nj.

Employees were polite. There is NO way that pool is heated! People's teeth were chattering. The chlorine burned our eyes bad....cloudy water....that and the temp....we left. The hot breakfast food is gross. All of it. Overcooked hard and no flavor. Had to stick to yogurt, watermelon, and make toast. Very small room to eat compared to the number of guess rooms and big families vacationing. The bathroom door stuck shut. Had to open it to get my daughter out each time. Hard enough for an adult. The back of the door metal clothing holder fell off luckily not on our head or feet. Did report this. Decently clean room. Rooms definitely not upgraded like the inner office building. The electronic door cards took no less that 8 swipes each to get the door open each time we had to go back in. Did report this. The parking spots do NOT have numbers on them! and perhaps not even enough parking for the number of rooms? All the times we left and came back....we never got to park anywhere near our room. Decent location near highways, shopping, etc. Wawa is directly in walking distance and also a bar across the street.

I had a fabulous stay at the Best Western Inn Bordentown. The staff was beyond friendly and kind. They all greeted us with smiles and kind gestures. The property is maintained really well and clean. The rooms are spacious and have everything we need. I will definitely be returning when in the area!

I have stopped here for the last three years on my way to Connecticut. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. Only complaint is that the environmental control units turn off and on during the night. Earplugs help

My wife and I had a very pleasant time here over 2 nights. The room was beautiful and clean. Newer flat screen tv with a great picture. The bed was very comfortable and had extra pillows. Nice indoor pool and a good breakfast in the morning. The check in and out was fast and the manager at the front desk was very pleasant. We give 5 stars to one of the employees named Bobby who was so helpful with many things during our time there. Great guy.

First off they lost my reservation. And I called up on Monday to make sure. I checked in on Friday. They said I am lucky that I was a reward card member otherwise there was no rooms left. The pool was cold as were the spa. It says cold water spa. But you could not stay in to long, you freeze. The breakfast was soso. There was now scrambled eggs and the hot stuff was cold.

Door was broken you can get in without a key tub would not drain the toilet ran all night long it was sucks from the previous people still in the room there was no remote controller to TV no ice bucket when we complained they told us they'd be up in a couple minutes we still didn't get it by the time we checked out.

My girlfriend and I decided to stay here and we had a very pleasant stay. We were a little hesitant based on the negative reviews we saw, but we decided to give it a chance. We were definitely glad we did. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We got excellent customer service from Sean and Frank. We paid a fair price for our room. And we slept quietly and safely. Not a single issue we could find. We would definitely here again if were in the area

We were leery about staying here because of the negative online reviews. We decided to take a chance and were pleased with the Senior Citizen discount and how friendly and eager to please the management was. The desk even called and asked what they could do to make our stay more pleasant and to ask how we liked the room. The pool and exercise room was an extra plus for the money and the continental breakfast fairly elaborate. Workers were painting the outside of the motel and grass was cut on the first day that the sun shined. Housekeeping did a meticulous job and grooming products were of good quality. Towels were nice and thick and the hotel was pet friendly.

Room was listed as "non-smoking". However, the room and bathroom reeked of old stale cigarette smoke. Made for a very unpleasant night's sleep. The hotel was booked so we were not able to change rooms. Very disappointed in this Best Western. Front desk said that the upcoming week the rooms were being deep cleaned, but that did not make our stay any more pleasant, nor did we receive any discount. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

Horrible!! Filthy, stunk, wouldn't dare to walk around without shoes on. Was told we didn't get around to remodeling yet. There were many vacant rooms available, why didn't they put us in one of them? The beds sunk in the middle & couldn't sleep. I just hope we didn't bring any bed bugs home with us. The breakfast was fair at best.

Register online and save $20 off the Best Western rate. BTW you cannot take any food out of the breakfast - not coffee or a bagel for you wife. You're better off going to Bada-book-bada-boom or the other chain that matches any price you get online.

The hotel was clean, recently updated and has comfortable bedding. The staff is very helpful and polite. The breakfast has a great variety of hot and cold selections in a nice, lounge like atmosphere. The hotel is right near NJ turnpike and RT 295. One negative. The pool was very cold and in my opinion, not swimmable. The whirlpool was not heated either.

Would not stay here again. This was my 3rd time here and the last time. The front desk woman was very rude. The room smelled and things were not as clean as they should be. The location however is great! Very central to everything.

If I can give ZERO stars I would!!! We book the room, check in, pay THEN told the pool is closed for repairs.. I have my husband go back inside to cancel the room entirely.. I see the manager Lee Marie (found her name out later) walking back inside with another employee and hear her from my car window “they want to cancel, the don't want to f'n stay here, oh well” my husband is inside trying to get the refund, I walk Inside to see what is taking so long, this is after 20 minutes of him being inside. My husband tells Lee that i heard her outside talking sh *t while she was walking inside, She then proceeds to tell my husband “does your wife want me to address her? I'm not scared of anyone? Does she want to come back Inside and have words with me?” IF YOU WANT POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, a terrible hotel and to be threatened be my guest and STAY HERE!! By the way there is a much nice hotel the Hampton inn about 500 feet away with a big indoor pool! I WILL NEVER GIVE BEST WESTERN OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES MY BUSINESS AGAIN.

Pulled in here on our way from DC to NY, it was cheap and cheerful, clean with everything we needed for an overnight stop, indoor pool, great little store opposite, easy access and breakfast to get us on our way, I'd say it would depend on what you're looking for but it was fine by me

If you stay here make sure you book on the Internet ahead of time if you see a cheap price. Online prices seem to vary by the minute and the front desk will not honor any of them and try charge more. If motel did not have paper thin walls and ridiculously soft beds, I might have rated higher. The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was fine.

Best Western Bordentown. All good things come to an end. After spending almost 5 years for 2 nights a week. I am done. I check in and am assigned my regular room. I notice a stain on the pillow. This was not a stain but makeup that wiped off. I pull back the bed sheets to check them and there is Pubic hairs on the sheets. Several other rooms (6) were checked and hair in the sinks. Hair in the bathtubs. Rooms were made up but not cleaned. After this I contact the general manager of 8'years and was told she was terminated earlier today and has not been on the property in several days. This is the worst fear if every traveler. I am a Diamond Elite member with Best Western. I used them for business travel. To Hilton I go like for my personal travel.

The Best Western facility in Bordentown is a very clean hotel for the age of the building. The General Manager and employees are very Professional. I rate this facility higher then some of the 5 star hotels

Not for business people and will never stay at this hotel again. Noisy, inconsiderate people in the room next to mine carrying on all night, forced me to move to another room at 12:30 AM. Even after hotel staff told noisy neighbors to quiet down, the noise continued. Furnishings are old and worn, walls are paper thin, garbage on floor in room, internet did not work, room phone did not even work.

The Staff was genuinely Nice Helpful and Efficient. Provided me with Extra towels one stay, a late checkout on another stay.. They "Make the difference" .. The rooms are Modern, Clean, Well Equipped SUPER CLEAN.. Refigerator, Large TV, Microwave, Coffee Maker with Reg/DeCaff/Tea.. what a Terrific Value .. - R L

This is my second stay at this hotel this year on a business trip. Overall I have found it pleasant, with a clean room and good front desk service. However, I was very annoyed that on my most recent stay I checked in at 1:30 am Sunday and had cleaning staff waking me up knocking and eventually entering my room at 9 am Sunday even after I yelled I was still in bed. I informed the front desk and was told that the staff had been specifically told I was to be a late checkout. To compound the issue, my room was next to a family with children who were all still loudly talking after 2 am. Now I should have asked for a different room, but by the time I was in the room I was just too tired to care. Overall I got a pretty disappointing night's sleep and was frustrated with my experience on this visit.

Disgusting felt unsafe...checked into room 210 bugs in the tub...spider webs in the ceiling corners even a mosquito waiting for me to sleep so he can attack...called the front desk room was moved to back of hotel room 335 ask if there will be any problems she said no...walked into the room tub was very dated and found a hopping knat in the tub..worse of all found dried up "blood" on the door frames...tried to call down stairs phone was disgusting and dirty...unbelievable...will definitely never come back and request a refund.. picture is worth a 1000 words...I went to the WAMA via the street and brought sanitizing wipes and had to reclean and wipe down everything!

The cleanliness of the bathroom, especially, was horrific. Debris in the tub, brown stains on the extra roll of toilet paper, tissues that we're literally stuffed back into the box in the bathroom in a clump, CURLY SHORT HAIR on the side of the tub, missing towels in the bathroom/not properly folded – almost looks like they forgot to replenish, shoe print on inside of bathroom door, broken towel bar INSIDE the shower. Refrigerator never cleaned out from prior guest. Hallway to second floor smelled like mildew. The next morning - the tub wouldn't drain. I found out only as taking a shower. The other two people couldn't shower - we didn't have time to wait for service. The positive? The girl at the front desk was wonderful.

Place was fairly standard double room, though traveling with a family and having sinks inside and outside the bathroom was fantastic. The beds were on the wrong frame or something, so these metal parts stuck out that made it painful to bump into unless you had shoes on. The reason for the review, that made the 5 Star difference, was the kitchen steward. The guy was amazing. Constantly moving, but with such good humor and willingness to assist the volumes of people moving in and out of there, the guy was absolutely the hardest working person there. Never before at a continental breakfast had I seen a guy with such a stand out disposition, I hope he's there next time we come, because he's the reason we'd want to come back. Also they have a pool.

Really good for this price range and location. Bathtub has no hand rails or bath mat and I always feel a little uncomfortable. Otherwise staff is accommodating and helpful. Haven't use the pool or jacuzzi, but it looks clean and inviting.

This property is disgusting, The odor of the rooms and furniture could be smelt as approaching the building. The outside was filthy with putrid furniture strewn about the entrance to the stairwell. The room was terrifying with wet sticky floors, the AC smelled like urine, everything was dirty, Band aid between mattress and headboard, Toenail clippings between bed and wall. House flies in room. Terrifying experience. We would have walked out and demanded a refund if we had not been driving for 16 hours and exhausted. Got in bed pulled the covers over our head and prayed for morning.

Beautiful decor, clean rooms and I loved the shampoo (coconut), nice! The customer service was very good..accommodating and pleasant attitude. The breakfast was sufficient no hot eggs or sausage but the freshly made waffles are excellent and the variety of juice yogurts and danishes is nice. The location about 30min from six flags and via the street from wawa (very good).

This BW receives a two star rating from me, with an "average" trip advisor rating of 3 bullet points. It's for budget minded travelers that don't have terribly high standards, but want their basic needs met. It was really exactly what I was expecting...no more, no less. It appears as if many needed renovations have recently taken place at about 90% of the property. The renovations made it a very good mid-week value under $100/night. It met 3 of my 4 basic needs; of which are cleanliness, comfort, quiet. It lacked the last need, that being safety and border-lined quiet(I did wake up from a car alarm around 2am, and another loud muffler twice). As for the safety...Traveling alone with my children, I just had an unsafe feeling. Maybe it was the confetti on the sidewalk(indicating parties go on here). Or perhaps the condom wrapper in the landscaping that made me think what kinda place is this? Maybe it was because the rooms are detached from the lobby/pool building that made me feel unsafe? I have never seen this, and it definitely made for inconvenience besides for safety reasons. What was also an inconvenience was the ability to access my room easily. There aren't any elevators, and I was on the second floor. The staircases are around the back side corners. It's hard to explain & a strange design. If you are on the second level and you want to access the lobby building, you have to go down a staircase then another level(partially underground) through the parking lot and around to the front of the building. Kinda annoying if I were staying a while! The lobby building is where the pool, exercise, and breakfast rooms are. All are very nice & clean. The continental breakfast included (self-serve) waffle or pancake maker, hard boiled eggs(cold), toast, Danish, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, cold cereal, tea, coffee, juice. Pretty decent, but I was hoping for bacon or breakfast meat(like other budget motels offer). The indoor pool was warm but it was June, so not sure how well its heated in the winter. The hot tub wasn't hot. As for the room...like I said most of it is renovated(we had a room with 2 queens). The popcorn ceiling had weird patches on it, the carpet was a little old, and the bathroom(although clean) was old (except for the counter). The bathroom is extremely tiny. The door hits the toilet & the tub, tiny. But a nice feature is that there is another sink outside the bathroom. The tv, mini fridge, and all the linens are nice. For a 2 star hotel, the linens were better than expected. Beds & pillows were very comfy. All in all, not sure I would stay again... depending on the rate & time of year.

We were very pleased with this hotel. We had a king bed room that was spacious enough for an easy chair. The lighting was great. Everything was clean. Bed was comfortable. They had two sinks, one in an alcove, the other in the bathroom. The AC was electronic with a clever panel right on the machine. Easy to control. Lots of counter space. The Breakfast was more than adequate. This is the basic level of BW properties and we got a great rate. We would definitely stay here again. Do check out downtown (historic) Bordentown. There are lots of neat restaurants, bars, and small shops on Farnsworth. But be aware that finding a parking spot can be challenging.

We found the hotel to be convenient to the NJ Turnpike exit and it looked relatively new. Staff was very helpful when we had to change rooms because the first one we were given smelled of cigarette smoke but the new room was fine.

First time traveling solo with family pet. Was sent here by another hotel that was not pet friendly. Ground floor room was below grade level, either had to walk down stairs and pass another room with 2 dogs or walk down hill to ramp and then come back by other rooms with children that assumed all dogs were puppies. Warm April afternoon and all doors were open, dogs and children were loose. Twice had to get desk clerk to open door with card key. Door needed to be pushed and pulled at same time as inserting card, while holding leash. Room was acceptable but was a connecting room and children could be heard until they finally went to sleep. desk clerk friendly and accommodating, there was no other pet friendly room available. Slept well and left early in am.

Excellent stay for price . There was plenty of space for all of us.My family and I enjoyed the room. The kids loved the jet tub. They didn't want to get out.we enjoyed the free breakfast.We weren't expecting so many different breakfast options. We definetly the indoor pool. The kids didn't want to get out of that either. This hotel was the only hotel in the area that has an indoor pool versus an outdoor pool. The weather wouldnt permit us to go to an outdoor pool. The kids are still talking about the room today.

Stayed twice here and both times I was told that the problems were going to be taken care of was given a # to call if I wanted to try again so I was called and was told the person Ann Dorango General Manager Comfort Inn 609-298-9111 was on the phone and if I wanted to leave a message she would call me back NEVER GOT A CALL BACK Iam a Best Western rewards member and stay exclusively at BW but this one I will never go near

Ridiculously overpriced for what you get. On a road trip and had to stop. Ended up with a queen bed and an old pullout sofa, which should have been fine, however sheets and ONE thin blanket for sofa were horribly worn. If it wasn't 1:00 in the morning we would not have stayed. Outlets and lamps in one room didn't work. Not the cleanest place ever, but not horrible. Old and patched up. Just no where near being worth $200 a night, $120 maybe. I've stayed in lots of places and this was probably the most overpriced ever.

Stayed for a night during our road trip vacation and were pleasantly surprised! Check In staff was efficient and welcoming, room was clean n comfortable. We appreciated the ice water with lemon and grapefruit slices at the reception area as well as the included breakfast which was much more than your usual "coffee and a muffin" of most highway motels/inns. Juices, pastries, bagels, make your own pancakes/waffles etc. Keep it up!

clean mostly (carpet could use some attention. beds were comfy. bathrooms were adequately clean. friendly staff. included breakfast. very easy to get to off of both the turnpike and 206 and 295. quiet town. can park right in front of room.

I enjoyed the stay and when I went to get another night, the clerk gave me the internet price which was the best price. Great place to be, if you need to stay in Borderntown this is where people should stay.

Basic hotel with few amenities. did not get to use the pool so cannot comment. But room was spacious, nice and clean. The rooms were very well maintained and beds were very comfortable, with lots of extra pillows. However the area where we ate breakfast had a broken door to get in. It was very cold out and the door would not close. Hotel staff put a rag to help t close but it did not help and it was hard to keep it closed. Maintenance should notice these things and fix them as quickly as possible. it was uncomfortable to eat breakfast if you were close to the door.

The only disappointment was that the room smelled like it has been smoked in although it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Otherwise, it was clean and the staff were very courteous. I would stay here again.

I booked 2 Guest rooms with BW Bordentown Inn to stay with my friends family on 2/18 - 2/19. both families had kids with us. Instead surprises, we faced lot of disappointments from the time we reached the hotel. 1. The drinking water kept in the reception was too old and not cleaned properly. We are advised to not to drink. So I went outside and bought water bottles fro my use. 2. I booked both rooms as Non smoking but as soon as opened the room, my son and wife had a continuous cough due to heavy cigarette smoke came from the room. then the receptionist changed to next room, it was little better but still had the smell. so not sure how they are maintaining the non-smoke rooms. 3. Furniture are very old and bed is not comfortable. 4. We felt there is no safety and anyone can enter inside the guest rooms as the reception is in separate building and guest rooms are separated and access to anyone. 5. The keys didn't work, even the hotel attender not able to open it. so they gave me another set of key. But again those didn't work. finally the 3rd set off keys only worked. I hope this is the problem with door/lock as they are too old and need a separate skill to open the door and will not help during emergency. 6. Only good thing is the women in Breakfast room was friendly and helped her to prepare something for our lunch. The orange juice option was out of order. So please don't think about the money, with $10 additional you will get good hotels in the same area.

the hotel has a great indoor pool heated and very clean. The breakfast is very good they have nutella spread. Hotel is close to i 95 great adventure and there are many places to eat at .. Great hotel great price and pet friendly

I come to his location yearly for New Years Eve and stay till New Years Day. The first year I came here was good. Second year they required a $50.00 incidental deposit as well as he facility where the swimming pool is located looks like it needs to be repaired. Also In the room itself it does not have any padding around the front door for cold drafts. We were cold in the room with the heat on high. Overall best western went down they need to update their rooms as well as where the swimming pool is housed at!!

Was a depressing experience. No windows, old furniture, uncomfortable broken bed. Drafty, not worth the high price tag at all considering the location. I don't recommend this to anyone. Super disappointed.

If you have allergies or asthma and you cannot be around smokers, do not stay here. We stayed in a pet friendly, non-smoking room and it reeked of cigarette smoke odor and there were burns in the tub and stains on the vent. There were coffee stains on the wall behind the desk and the baseboards were not clean at all. The TV remote was under the bed and there was nothing but filth under the bed. Old cups, toys and mess. The heat was running full blast in the bathroom and when my husband went to turn it off, there was a toy stuck in it! Major fire hazard! The room was not very clean at all and because of the smoke scent and asthma, I could barely breathe, chest was tight and sleep was impossible. Oh yes, and the beds. Worst bed I think I've ever slept on in a brand name hotel. Wow. We don't expect top of the line anything but this stay was incredibly disappointing. We were booked for two nights but had to leave after the first night and cut our holiday stay with family short because of this.

In a word (well, in a short paragraph) this motel offers real value for the dollar and a service staff that is attentive and caring when it comes to the needs of their guests. Top notch facility and service!!

We were welcomed upon arrival and our stay was excellent. The hotel was very clean and welcoming. The staff went above our expectations to make our stay interesting! We would certainly stay at this hotel again!

For a cheap little motel, I like this place more every time I stay here (I think this is the third time). The bathroom is actually cute, the pillows are adequate, there are electrical outlets near the beds (some older places don't have this), the pool is really very warm, the "warm tub" is cool enough for kids (actually, it's cooler than the pool), and the dolphins are cheerfully encouraging me to relax. Oh the bathrooms at the pool have saunas inside so you can get dressed where it's warm.

We like this hotel and will continue to stay here when visiting Bordentown, but would like to have a better response to repair request. The breakfast offered less protein choice than other BW we visit. We still like the motel and did appreciate the handicap access.

Our room was clean but outdated. The beds were very soft and "bouncy"...almost felt like a waterbed. The kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was pretty standard for free breakfasts. The picture shows it, but note that the rooms have doors to the outside. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We were here almost 2 weeks. The staff was great. The room was kept very clean. The beds were wonderful. Wi-fi wasn't the best but it was good enough. Bathroom was good, shower had great water pressure and those towels, we wanted to bring them home. Breakfast...waffles, juice, stale pastry, etc. nothing special. We travel most of the year, we spend more time in hotels than at home and Best Western just hit the top of our preferred list

Our room was over $200 with tax. It smelled like mold, the linens were stained, the shower curtain was covered with mascara and there was lipstick on the ceiling. The staff tried to help us but did not have the power to discount the room.

the pool was nice. our room had cobwebs in the corner but the bed was comfortable and the air worked well. breakfast left much to be desired it was okay if you liked boiled eggs and waffles not much more than that

The staff was very friendly. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. When my girls showed up at the pool an hour early with swim suits on and goggles in hand the staff opened the pool. They made sure they were not disappointed. I will definitely stay here next year.

My boyfriend and I had some unexpected issues with our return trip from Canada (long story short, we had to rent a car at the last minute and drive home) and were very weary travelers. We called ahead to make sure that there was a room available, as well as confirm the check out time of 11 am (it was almost 5 am at this point). The lady who greeted us couldn't have been more accommodating. I forget her name; we were so exhausted and weary by this point, but it was October 12 at 5 am. She extended our check out time to 1 pm so that we could get more sleep and gave us a discounted rate. The room wasn't the best. Our toilet was clogged instantly and the shower was kind of outdated and a little gross, but we were really only there to sleep. You could also tell that it was a smoking room, although we didn't specify that we wanted nonsmoking. The bed was incredibly comfortable with nice fluffy pillows. It was also surprisingly spacious for an hotel room also. I was very satisfied with our stay and would stay here again.

Always my first choice for hotel stays, the Bordentown Best Western was our first choice enroute south from NJ to Baltimore. We could have stayed in the Flemington area but the cost for Hampton Inn was nearly twice that of BW. A very good value indeed.

Stayed here for a soccer tournament with a group of families. The hotel is not a 5 star Hotel, but the customer service was way beyond a 5 star hotel. Dawn And John at this hotel made our stay fun and stress free. They are incredible! Thank you for everything.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Stayed here a number of times and always well satisfied. Have been involved in a several conferences using this hotel and they have been very guest friendly and helpful. Would recommend the facility.

I checked into my room to find out there were black hairs in both queen beds. I then called the front desk asking if they could switch my rooms they did so but the card to get in stopped working the next day. I had to get it fixed 3 times throughout the day to get back into my room. I was so put off by the hairs in my new room slept on the bath towels.

Price was high, staff was weak and room could have been cleaner. The only hotel I stayed at in the last 5 years that did not offer cooked eggs for breakfast. When there was no remote for the TV the TV the staff delivered it "when they had time" which was about 15 minutes at about midnight. The directions to the the room which was in a remote building were in complete and took awhile to figure it out. The next time I am in the area I will try a different hotel.

My second night of staying employees open door announced around 9 to 10 pm with cops. Employee and police reason for entering without a warrant was a noise complaint but when they entered I was in bed about to go to sleep so there was no noises being made. Stink bugs and spiders everywhere. I bleiece a cat was in the bathroom ceiling. Charged me extra fees I did not agree too. Overall did not feel safe there. The left my own memory foam pillow with a design sheet over it (easily to realize it was not theirs and was left by accident) at the hotel. I called the next day to try to retrieve it and receptionist said housekeeping did not report anything.,,,

Overall not bad. A bit on the small side space wise and a little old. However very clean and nice décor. Fantastic bed. Good value and fits in Gov't Per Diem. Internet was very good. Nice people too. Good location. Easy in and out. Parking good WAWA right across the street

If you want to use a hair dryer at this motel, bring your own. The wall mounted one provided is not near a mirror nor does it extend to one. They do provide a good number of outlets for yours, though, and they do have 2 nice big mirrors. Also, if anyone in your party is sensitive to odors, make another choice. The guest room had a very sweet perfume-y smell that I know my sister could not have handled. Fortunately she wasn't with us and my husband and I managed it.

Older facility, well kept up. If things are missing, or not up to snuff, call the staff. They made things right quickly. Wifi goes out, call the 1-800 number to fix it. Very unique curved pool. Breakfast very good, and has a large breakfast room. Larger than average for Best Western. Front desk doesn't offer Elite Awards members the usual amenity. You have to ask for it.

Very clean, all the amenities. Large rooms, two sinks, small coffee pot, microwave and small fridge. Biggest issue was not even basic cable channels available, so if that's important to you, think twice before booking, because you WILL be bored silly.

Fell below expectation. Rooms were tiny and smelled of cigarets. Poor breakfast options. Tiny beds that were suppose to be queen size but were actually. Not family friendly. Checkin took forever. Definitely not what i'm use to at other Best Western.

This hotel is in a very nice location and the staff are great. I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Bordentown, Trenton or any of the cities nearby. Very quiet and peaceful and easy access to surrounding areas.

I stay at this Best Western every time I go New Jersey. After staying at nearly all the local motels over the last 18 years I can say that this is the Best Choice. The staff starting with Dawn the manager on down are always smiles and will help in any way they can. If you are looking for a good easy in and out location...a clean, secure, and comfortable room then look no further.

The staff at this Best Western really go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant and enjoyable one. Rooms are clean and comfortable. They not only have a waffle maker but a pancake one as well! Yummy!

We enjoyed the pool and fitness room . Great attraction near by.The hotle was very helpful with direction to place we wanted to go. The front desk was very informative to let us know what was avaibale and how to use the internet.

Having stayed only one night, Im no expert on the hotel, Never the less, I found this hotel lacked character, personality, and did NOTHING to go out of their way to be sure I'd choose them again for my future needs. Sadly, I recommended the place to my niece who stayed with you on August 10th. This was before I realized how drab the place was. The front desk girl seemed high every time I spoke to her, the rooms were so very dated in decor with absolutely nothing about them saying "welcome", the mattress left my poor niece who has back problems, in SO much pain waking up...the cleaning that was done before arrival left ALOT to be desired- and if it's nice out, too bad, only option is indoor pool that killed your sinuses causing a stinging headache from all of the chlorine- maybe that was what front desk girl was high on since the pool was behind her. If you wanted to enjoy that one indoor pool, you had to walk out to your car, drive to the front of the building, and walk to and from your car in a suit in front of the entire highway watching you But the hotel is more of a motel with its outdoor entrances and no hallways make it uncomfortable to visit anything but your room. I couldn't go back here- I refuse And my niece won't be along with anyone from our family. What a let down

Overall very impressed. Great service and family friendly. the swimming pool is very pretty but the water is not so clean. Breakfast very good just wish there could be fresh fruit. With the price we paid, this is a great deal! It's 20 minutes from Sesame Place.

The staff at the Best Western in Bordentown, New Jersey are truly professional. The rooms and all amenities are second to none. The newly renovated facility looks outstanding and the new logo " BW " stands out.

Hotel décor has been updated and some of the areas repainted. The staff was helpful and attentive, and very responsive to our issue- We found a pair of underwear (not ours) in our room. They changed our room immediately and apologized The bathroom area for the pool was creepy and gross.

I would avoid this hotel at all costs. And Cost is not worth the risk of health and wellbeing! I had a situation where I had to leave my home and needed a place to stay on the weekend of the 4th of JULY! It was the only one available. I also had a small dog with me. There were no other options! Staff was wonderful but conditions and cleanliness were not visible upon arrival. IT is not until you are there that you realize WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON! AVOID!!!

The rooms were not very clean. The overwhelming Clorox smell in the entryway was terrible. One of the worst in that department I have ever stayed in. The desk clerk was very helpful and accommodating.

We stayed two nights - a Thursday and Friday - and we're extremely pleased with our stay! Pros: The beds. Seriously. At this price we were expecting basic (usually extremely hard) beds and that we'd be too tired from Six Flags to really notice. Not so! These beds were plush and rivaled the comfort of my bed at home! We all slept much later than we ever have at a hotel. The breakfast. Yes they had the usual pastries and coffee, but they also had a couple waffle/pancake makers, hot oatmeal with lots of toppings, yogurt, juices, and on Saturday morning they also had hot scrambled eggs and ham. They even had Nutella. Be still my heart. The staff. Everyone from the check in/out clerks to the maintenance were very kind. The pool. The inside pool was the perfect temperature and my kids had a great time. Usually not crowded at all. Cons: Room key: after one use our room keys didn't work so we had to go to the front desk and get them re-swiped. Upon check out the front desk said if they're kept near your cell phone the magnetic strips can get erased. Crickets. Not their fault but I hate bugs that jump and since we were on the first floor we found three of these evil things. Admittedly they were dead, so perhaps they had recently treated the place? Next time we visit Six Flags in NJ we are absolutely staying here. It's 20 miles from the park but those beds are worth the drive.

Excellent 9 day stay!!!! The front desk staff and service staff really care about the guests and go the extra mile... They are personable and polite. The hotel is clean and well maintained (not perfect, but very good) This hotel is in a safe area with a Wawa across the street. Daily breakfast is included... Smelled great, but not much of a breakfast guy. Fitness center was great. Families seemed to enjoy the pool.

I stayed here for five days and had a great experience. The desk personnel and management were courteous and accommodating. This is a garden-type facility with very nice rooms. There are all of the major shopping chains within minutes of the location. Don't pass up some of the excellent New Jersey diners just down the street.

Great value. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Really decent breakfast. Rooms are nice and spacious. Decent size fridge size and microwave. Centrally located so you can access the shops and restaurants nearby in Hamilton and the nightlife of Philadelphia!

This is an excellent motel! Always clean and comfortable. Staff goes above and beyond to accommodate us while we are there. Very nice variety of breakfast items. It is conveniently located close to the NJ Turnpike, gas stations, restaurants and convenience stores.

Hotel was adequate for a quick stop traveling back to NY. Places to eat were not easily available or had poor ratings. Grab something to eat before you check in. Breakfast in the morning was a good quick way to get on your way.

Room was so smoky that it felt like someone was just there smoking. When asked about a new room, the clerk did not even look, just gave me a can of Febreeze. The water was brown. 5 minutes later when my wife went up there, they found a nonsmoking room with a different clerk. We were told to just let the water run. They did not mention the water issue at check in.

To start: Upon arrival I greeted an employee behind the desk and stated my last name. She miserably pointed to a sign on the wall that read, "Check-in at 3:00," it was 12:30. Not even, a smile. Nothing. Grumpy and miserable. Most hotels would offer a courtesy and check to see if the room was available-NOT her. My pillow had someone's foundation all over it, and it wasn't from my family! Disgusting! The toilet was broken and would fill up to the rim; inoperable. When I went to the lobby to use their bathroom, I approached the desk to inform her of our toilet issue, the same woman was there-this time she did NOT even greet me! Again, she acted put-off, angry, and miserable. I never said a word! To Finish: Hotels are in the hospitality business. Your front desk employee is anything but!

New upgrades since our last stay. The rooms were very comfortable and not lacking amenities, the breakfast was excellent with numerous choices and fresh. We were visiting the area for a granddaughter's graduation and the convenience to both the school and home was within 10 miles.

Police knocking on doors looking for someone. Tv reception very poor. A/C very noisy. Overall experience was average. Checked in was ok. Lobby was clean. The entire place is an average hotel. Nothing to fancy.

While travelling on th NJ Turnpike you never know what type of hotel you will get when you decide to stop. In the future, I will plan my trip so I could stay at this hotel. Room, food, and pool were great.

Would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family the staff and service was very good the room was clean and parking was nice and close to our room didn't have time for the breakfast we had to leave earlier than it was open but it looked nice

This property is strategically located on a busy intersection corner. Gas station and small shops are within the surrounding area. Property is not well marked from highways however so stay on 206 South towards Bordentown. Property is super clean, safe, and has a lovely breakfast. You will not be disappointed.

This hotel is old and run down. The room itself had a musty smell the interior is dark and small. The bathroom is old and the fixtures are rusty. The grounds are littered with trash old mattresses and broken pallets. I def would not stay here again.

ALL, 100% of the staff I interacted with were awesome people. In meeting and interacting with the management, I can see why. It seemed to me (an outside observer) that they are treated well by the management there.

It was a ok hotel the lights did not work the front desk girl was great did not have time to see how the breakfast was a little overpriced parking could b better the parking lot was packed a long walk to the room

The hotel is close to 295 and The Jersey Turnpike, WaWa store acrossbthe street and plenty of restaurants meeting any budget near by. Good breakfest, pool. and family freindly. I would recommend this hotel for the family and business traveler

i've stayed at this best western twice in the past year, it's a small convienent location if you're just looking for a clean short trip. Theres a bar right across the street, and six flags is about a 15 minute drive. i go to six flags all the time, so i'll definitely be back at this location.

This is one of the nicest Best Western Motels we've experienced. It was clean, employees were pleasant. The breakfast buffet was the best we've had - the room was pleasant, the food was arranged so that many people could get whatever they wanted without having to wait at a single area. Hard-boiled eggs were offered instead of the often served scrambled powdered eggs.

very unprofessional staff. wrong directions to hotel. rude greeting. semen stained coverlet, dog barking outside room all night, woman wearing high heel walking upstairs on balcony all night smoking resulted in no sleep. upon check out was told manager would only give 1000 points to BW Rewards card, and no further comment on any other issues. when asked to speak to manager, was told he wasn't available.

This hotel is actually a motel, with the lobby, pool and breakfast room in a separate building and the guest rooms in the back. The room itself was OK, relatively clean (but needed a dusting), it had been renovated, but clearly was from the 1980s, if not earlier. The bed was awful: lump and very, very soft. But it was nice and quiet, even though it was close to a major highway. The front desk staff is very nice and the breakfast, while basic, was decent, too: waffles, oatmeal (already made, not the kind you make with hot water in a cup), yogurt, toast and muffins. It was fine for a one-night stay, but nothing exceptional to report.

Don't bother there are plenty of other hotels in the area at comprable prices. We checked in March 21st and March 22nd 2017,after driving from midnight all through the night and into the next day we checked in around 3 p.m. the first problem we encountered was the key card something was wrong with it it took about a dozen attempts before it finally unlock the door. We settled in the room was clean enough it was comfortable nice comfortable bed period we were very tired I took a shower and washed my hair only to find out that the hair blower didn't work. I contacted the desk the girl college eyes and said she didn't have any spare ones so we hung up I called back a few minutes later and I says this is unacceptable I've been driving from the night I am tired I just got a shower I cannot sleep with soaking wet hair she finally sent someone from maintenance over to switch out the hair blower from another room. Whoever service the room the day before left a half a roll of toilet paper maybe 10 tissues in the tissue box and two bars of soap period in the morning I approached the maid ask for more toilet paper and in her far and home she kept trying to say your room okay your room okay? I said no we were getting ready to leave for the day and had Josh call the office and explain to them that we were leaving for the day and the room was ready to be serviced now that call was placed for a reason I did not want to deal with the maid with an English barrier have her under some impression that I didn't want the room service so I call the office to make sure that they knew we wanted the room clean but the brainless one behind the desk just thought I was getting her an FYI and apparently didn't take it any further we came home late that night after 10 o'clock and again problem with a key card had to go to the office and have new keys made that wasn't the problem they still didn't work and I told her I was quite upset that the room was not serviced and we had nothing in there so she arranged to have Towson over that's fine but after watching TV and getting ready to go for the shower I realize there was no so therefore they tore the paper was very low we just needed supplies so I called her she sent some man over with a bag full of towels which I did not want I told her it was soap that I needed and toilet paper while I ask for exactly what you asked for ice is no I did not ask for towels already had to deliver it so he came back with the essentials that I needed now both girls the girl at night and then the girl who actually brought the towels and I showed her the room had not been serviced said that they would tell the manager in the morning and I was going to go complain and I was going to ask for a discount which I feel I'm entitled to after all I had continual problems with a key card I didn't have a hair dryer and I had to wait and sit around tired as I was with wet hair and then my room wasn't service that we had no soap and toilet paper and Kleenex or supplies and I think I am entitled to a discount but they took this problem to the manager and I feel that the onus was on her to get back to me and she showed absolutely no concern all she can do is stand out in the parking lot smoking cigarettes so I feel you know what I will just go ahead and complain to the main company

The staff and facilities at this Motel are top notch. Staff is polite, knowledgeable and deal with you on a individua/personal level. The facility leaves nothing to chance, meeting all of your needs. The sstaff provided information pertinent to my stay, both re: the motel and the surrounding area (good restaurants, etc.) All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Unimpressive. It's been a week since I stayed at this hotel and the experience was less than memorable. As I recall, everything was just "okay;" nothing special. Breakfast was a little disappointing in that, except for the ubiquitous waffle irons, there were NO hot items available. I also felt that the price charged was too hight for what was offered. The property was undergoing renovations so the dust and debris didn't help and I wasn't particularly comfortable with the lighting in the rear parking lot; I worried that my vehicle might not be safe there overnight. Would I recommend the hotel to a friend? Maybe. But, there are alternatives readily available so I would probably suggest they investigate those first.

Went down with me my boyfriend and his daughter for a family trip and to use the inside pool since it's cold out and woke up ate breakfast went back to our room to get all our stuff and pack it in the car put our bathing suits on and the lady at the front desk told us we were not aloud to use the pool because it was ALMOST checkout time now his daughter was in her bathing suit all ready to go even had goggles on and she took them off and started to cry the lady did not care in my opinion they treated us poorly and made a 6 years hysterical cry not so kid friendly! Definitely won't be going back there

We were recently in a wedding nearby, and needed a pet-friendly hotel. The hotel itself is easily accessible and the staff is great. They let us check in early to accommodate our schedule for the wedding, and were always very nice and helpful on the phone. Our room was clean, and it served our purpose perfectly. It was perfect for our one night stay.

told the person giving reservation too, that I was going to be checking in late and asked about the pool etc.. never told me we couldn't use after the time etc.. just really unfriendly and upset me since I was bringing my uncle that was 66 years old that has never been away from NY, never has been on vacation, never saw the ocean, and was so excited to use the pool and Jacuzzi and was never able to use it.... he was pretty well upset and discouraged.... I wanted to ring someones neck to be honest!!!!!

Picked this hotel as a stop between Great Wolf Lodge and Six Flags New Jersey. The hotel was obviously updating as construction equipment was all around. There was a hole in the wall that we noticed upon our arrival at 11pm but at that point were too exhausted to complain. We checked out before 8am. We were charged a $50 fee for the hole that was there when we arrived. I had the following afternoon sent them an email complaining about the hole in the wall and the exposed wires under the AC unit. I spoke to Stephanie, assistant manager and Dawn who were no help and argued about the damage and lied saying I had left my children alone in the room, because every parent leaves their 12, 8 and 1 year old alone while there are drunk people arguing and banging on doors outside while it's the middle of the night. Charge were never reversed. I highly suggest that if you are looking for somewhere to stay you look elsewhere or else you may have a similar experience.

Rooms are in desperate need of paint job, curtains were filthy. Gave me the creeps, but breakfast and pool made up for it. Pool was warm and relaxing and breakfast had a lot of variety and fresh items. Also staff was friendly and welcoming

My family and I decided to stay here to be in close range of six flags which we decided to visit twice during our 4 day stay. The hotel was clean, pool was great, breakfast was awesome, and we recommend this to all families!

Excellent quiet location. Parking available in front of your room on ground floor. Breakfast better than average Best Western. Very close to Interstate exit. Big Wawa across the street. Very comfortable motel. Interesting round pool, check in, breakfast architecture.

The front desk was friendly and helpful. The stay was comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and the indoor pool is always fun. There is also a Wawa right next door. We stay here every time we go to Sesame Place, which is 15 minutes away. We have stayed here on 4 separate visits, and each time was great.

I stayed one night at this hotel, with my two teenage sons and teenage daughter. The room was comfortable, clean, and well kept. The next morning we had continental breakfast, and swam in the indoor pool and tried the whirlpool. Both were luke warm. We would of enjoyed the pool/whirlpool more if they were heated, We stayed at this hotel, since it was only 12 miles away from Great Adventure Amusement park.

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and always have had a good experience. The staff is always kind and pleasant in their service and the location can not be any better, being located right off the Jersey Turnpike. Would defiantly stay here again.

ALL staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful during y9our stay: Check in, Check out and in between. Complimentary Breakfast in informally (very comfortable for me) presented and is of excellent quality.

We happened to stay in this area two years in a row on our way to NC. The motel is standard fare in the rooms- beds are pretty comfy, with a separate sink area both inside the bathroom and outside in the room which was helpful with kids! The security lock on the door was broken which was not ideal. The pool is indoor and good for kids. The breakfast is good, not usualy busy which is a plus. MYO waffles and pancakes (never seen that before! cool!) and delicious oatmeal along with hardboiled eggs, pastries, and cereal. VERY nice desk staff and clean overall. We would stay here again!

This hotel is one of the cheapest in the area and I wasn't thrilled that it had a door directly outside however the room was clean and comfortable and I didn't feel unsafe which was my concern. Breakfast was good also ............,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Hotel is very nice, clean, and decent sized rooms with comfortable beds and pleasant decor. Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful staff. Easy off/on access to NJ Turnpike Exit 7. Exceptionally good free breakfast.

Comfy rooms, decent location , room sort of hot , bed was nice , good enough for me on short pass thru trip. It could have more restaurants near this location, but the staff was pleasant, and the stay was without incident

The Lady who checked us in was very helpful. She even told us, that we have enough points for a free night. Not any of the other Best Western receptionists did this, even they have seen, that we have enough points. Thank you to this receptionist. Location is convenient. Everything else was fine also.

This is a very old hotel. The layout and facilities are awful. If it were not for the helpful staff, this would have been completely awful. I can't believe I paid that same amount to stay here as a newer/nicer hotel. The place should be torn down and built new. It is well past it's time.

Took my nephews for a Six Flags Great Adventure. Hotel is about 15-20 mins from park. On arrival, assigned room wasn't cleaned. Desk apologized & immediately provided another which was perfect. (Hotel is U shaped, and highest numbered rooms are near busy street.) Room quite satisfactory for our needs. A/C worked well.

There are such mixed reviews of this hotel, so we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Yes, it's a budget hotel (and the price didn't reflect that, but the area is expensive), and yes, it's an older style hotel but the beds were sensational, the pillows were great and the staff were super friendly and helpful. You will welcomed well here. The hair dryer in our room only blew cold air and there was no room safe, which is why I couldn't give it full marks but everything else was fine for overnight comfort. The wifi is free and so is breakfast. There is also a pool and laundry facilities. With a few eating places nearby and the Highway right there, it's a convenient location too. We would stay again.

The whirlpool/Jacuzzi had nine jet but only one slightly worked Lots of rusted railing stairs ect Large chip in tub someone tried to repair but it was still rusted. Room was overpriced since the Ramada across the street was thirty dollars cheaper. We choose this one for the hot tub and indoor pool which was poor at best.

After canceling a reservation across the street with Ramada, I walked in Best Western the young lady had me in a room in less than 30 minutes. When I travel to NJ I will stay there again. Very polite and she work with me to get me the best deal.

Had a very pleasant stay in this Best Western. We have stayed here before and had great service so we use Best Western all the time now. We traveled cross country to Arizona this past year and stayed at Best Westerns all across the country. They were all very nice hotels.l

The room was exactly as advertised. The price was reasonable.The animal smell in the room was awful. The staff at the front desk was warm and welcoming. If they can get rid of the pet smells this hotel would be great.

The palace is old but well maintain, the front desk staff was very friendly and pleasant will all our request. The room are small but comfortable with two sink, Micro/Ref and they have a small pool but good for family to have fun! The stairs need to be upgraded to go on second floor. Small and clean for family!

Manager and staff very accommodating. Have had several extended stays there. Breakfast is great and doesn't run out... Pool is clean and open year round. Rooms very clean. Manager will give you a special deal if you want an upgrade or for extended stay. Great Wifi and Cable. Restaurants all around.... Great hotel for a great little city. Free Laundry machine use.

Polite staff, the rooms are nice and clean and I stay here every time I visit home(NJ). The price is great for what is offered....the king bed was surprisingly comfy and the shower was nice and hot. I was given a room on the more empty side of the hotel, which means I had an incredible amount of peace and quiet, sans the highway noises. But the big fan/ac/heat unit drowned out the majority of street noise for me. Check out was quick and easy, as was leaving the housekeeper a tip. The person definitely cared about having the room clean before I checked in. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on hotel digs, I would suggest here.

stayed here on business one night. Great staff with clean rooms and easy access to the Jersey turn pike. Not a lot to eat close buy but the hotel amenities were great. Nice indoor pool!! The mattresses could use some updating.

i came for Friday-Monday as a 'relaxing-get-away' and to 'see-other-sights'... i mainly stay at BEST WESTERN hotels throughout my travels...BEST WESTERN is my primary choice of hotel stays....the room was more than i expected...the jacuzzi was awesome...the swimming pool was nice and 'heated'... unfortunately i only had a chance to visit it once during my stay as i was kept busy with other travels during my stay... i would definitely book this location again

This hotel was clean, albeit a bit of a smokey smell in the hallway and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. We really enjoyed the pool. The staff was more than hospitable, Very accommodating and served with a smile!!

Overall the stay over night was ok for the price. The room was clean but smelled like smoke for a nonsmoking room! It was a little noisy outside in the morning making it difficult to sleep in. If you don't mind those things then this hotel will do fine r the price!

Either need to reduce the price a lot or do an extensive renovation. We stay exclusively in BW and most of the time the hotels are less expensive and better quality than this. This hotel is old and tired. The room furnishings have been updated, the bed is comfortable but our bathroom needed renovating. Turned on the heat and an odd smell came out, it was too noisy anyway so turned it off. The smell of chlorine from the pool while eating breakfast is overwhelming and kind of gross actually. It permeates the whole area including reception.

We stayed here one night on our way home from VA to MA...what a mistake. The lobby was nice and the girl that checked us in was very nice. We were in Rm 305...a smoking room which is what we wanted. When I asked where the elevator was, I was told "No elevators...just stairs". Having MS, I was a little hesitant but no choice. The stairs were, to say the least, scary! They are totally rusted and looked like they could fall apart at any time. The room was small...2 queen beds. There were stains on the bathroom ceilings and walls. There were no ashtrays so I called the front desk and asked for 1. I was told "We are out of ashtrays...they are on order...just use a cup". The beds were very soft and uncomfortable...neither of us slept well at all. We did not go to the breakfast...we just wanted to get on the road. We almost always stay at Best Westerns when traveling but this is one that we will not stay at again.

The Management and staff are a very professional and courteous group. The facility is above and beyond the normal hotel experience. I want to commend all staff for there un-waiving desire to please the customer and the food facility/breakfast is excellent.

This is not a destination hotel by any stretch of the imagination, but it is a good location in terms of proximity to the highway for travel. Room was small but clean, and the bathroom was tiny with inadequate lighting. Best part of the hotel was the continental breakfast.

Motel was located within just a few minutes of the NJ Turnpike, and historical Bordentown. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They had great recommendations for nearby restaurants. Breakfast was quite good. Very pleasant experience.

We called ahead to ensure the indoor pool was up and operational and had an amiable discussion with the receptionist. Were able to get a discounted rate, which did not show up on multiple search engines. The night and daytime staff were warm and friendly. The rooms (stayed in 228) were a bit worn and there were cracks in the bathtub, along with a somewhat loose bathroom wall outlet. The door needed to be slammed to ensure it was locked. The complimentary breakfast did not serve hot items (aside from waffles/pancakes from self-serve maker); however, it was well stocked and the foods offered were fresh. The juice machine was out of order. A Wi-Fi password was issued at check-in, but we did not attempt access. There were two computer stations in the lobby. The indoor pool & whirlpool were clean and the water warm; however, there were several areas where water was dripping from the roof & door areas (the outside temp was in the teens). The one inconvenient drawback was the lobby, pool, and breakfast areas were in a building separate from the lodging rooms. This meant that you had to either change clothes in the bathroom after using the pool or wrap up and walk back to your room, which was inconvenient in freezing/inclement weather. The location made it a little tricky to get to due to the lack of nearby U-turn areas. It was OK for an overnight stay.

We loved the room with no carpet! The room was very clean and comfortable. Everything was working perfectly, nothing missing, very quiet. The breakfast included had a good variety of food, hot and cold.

I always try to book with the Best Western in Bordentown when I have to be in NJ for many reasons. I have to be in NJ on an average of one weekend a month and try to always stay there. The Room is always clean, the manager Dawn is always accomdating, all of the staff is friendly and many options for breakfast. Great place to stay. Steam room is great and I look forward to it every month.

I've stayed at The Best Western at least 3 times. When I've lost power or had work done on the apt I have stayed here. Yes, it's dated and probably could use a total overhaul to make it modern. This is only one of about 5-6 motels located directly off the Turnpike in Bordentown. The majority of people who stay at these places are truckers. The room was clean, smelled ok and the bed was ok. There is free WiFi access which was pretty fast. When I was there there was also a washer and dryer. The rooms are adequate for a 1 night stay. It's not luxurious. I had my parents stay across the street in another motel. That place had a dead cockroach in the bathroom, reeked of smoke and was filthy. There are a couple of higher end places off of 206. Or if you want a more modern facility with more ammedities, there are relatively new places off of 95s in Ewing or travel to Princeton. This is by far one of the better places in Bordentown.

The check in process was bad, we arrived at check in and was told rooms were not available. We came back 6 hours later and had to wait in lobby for over 20 minutes because no one was at the front desk. When someone came he had no shirt on and said he was the only one working. The breakfast food was not good and very poor quality. The one thing is bed was comfortable. From the outside the hotel is old and dingy looking. The rooms appeared to have some updating done but needed more. The room appeared clean but I was not sure based on the hotels lack of attention to the guest. I will not stay here again. I was with a group and we wanted to all stay together, but going forward I will not compromise the quality I expect. For the price in that area it was only $15 less than Hampton, it was not worth to save $15.

Close to 175 weekly, one night stays, over the last 3 plus years. Have never had a problem. Dawn and the entire staff do an outstanding job. Look forward to staying weekly as long as I travel in the Jersey area. I stay Best Western 100-105 nights a year in New Jersey and continue to do so.

We rented two rooms for a sleepover and one room for adults and my daughter and her friends got the other two! We had a blast! Swam in the indoor pool, had pizza's delivered! Great time had by all. Staff was extremely helpful and rooms were clean and well supplied with towels.

The service, upon checking in, from Ben was the highlight of the stay. Everything else went downhill. That said...the bathroom looked clean. The shower tiles were cracked, the fabric on shower curtain was torn...in multiple places. There was dirt, stuff on the carpeting all around the baseboard area. Everywhere, it had not been handled. The bed was horrendous. It felt like I was sleeping on a cement box. I slept in it one night. I was so exhausted after driving 500 miles, I just needed to rest. My hip was dislocated from how hard it was. Seriously dislocated. For the next night, I bought a high air mattress just so I could sleep and hopefully not damage my hip any further. The bed was good. The wall shaking from the banging next door...not so good. On my check out day, I began packing my car very early in the morning, before sunrise. The parking lot was kind of dark in the back. Definitely not well-lit. As I was taking items out to my car, I twisted my ankle between the sidewalk and parking lot. Trip to the emergency room with a fractured ankle now in an air cast with crutches. Had the lighting been better, I would have seen the dip in the pavement. I left items in the room. I went to the emergency room to get my ankle handled. The hotel decided to charge me for another night. They charged my credit card for a full night that I wasn't even registered for. This is credit card fraud. My card company has been notified. Needless to say, the stay at this hotel was a complete disaster. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you look elsewhere because this hotel has nothing good to offer to exhausted travelers looking for a great hotel. Don't bother staying here.

The rooms are dirty and the beds are worn out. Time to update the rooms and make them fresh again. Never tried the food after seeing the rooms. I was let down as a Diamond member. This property reminded me of a hotel with a number in the name. It sucked.

Great staff, Hanna at the front desk was friendly and helpful with where to eat or in our case where to get take out from. Breakfast was good and fresh. Coffee was decent. Pool was relaxing and clean . Only drawback was having to go out in the cold to get back to our room. Rooms were up to date and clean. Food within walking distance. Off major highways . Very happy will return next time I'm in the area .

Everything about this stay was amazing. Alyssa I hope I spelled it correctly was super helpful and very sweet. She made sure had a smile and answered our questions about local stores quickly and even have us directions. The room was clean as always And the beds were amazingly comfortable. And let me tell you those blueberry muffins were to die for. Lol Thank you so much for making yet another stay fantastic. Keep up the great work everyone.

Conveniently off of NJTP. Easy to get back on NJTP. Close to, and easy drive to Six Flags Great Adventure. Nice hotel. A little more attention could have been paid to cleaning room. Complementary breakfast could have been a little better. Overall, good hotel experience and a fair price.

This Best Western is one fine hotel. Booking is easy, check-in is fast and the service rendered by the staff is friendly and excellent. The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable and the shower is refreshing.

It was clean and the staff friendly though it seemed they were a little disorganized on occasion. The bed was very good which is highly important to me. The breakfasts were good but would have liked bananas available for cereal. It was a very good experience for the money spent.

I stayed here October 9-10-11 of this year. The motel is well kept and the room we had was very clean. Had a small coffee pot in the room and comfortable beds. Plenty of parking and friendly employees. The breakfast included scrambled eggs, pork roll, and a make your own Belgium waffle maker! It was great.

Decent hotel with nice breakfast. They have a pretty decent looking indoor swimming pool, in which I did not not use on this trip. I would stay there again. The only issue I had was with the bathroom lighting, it didn't come on fully until about 30 min after I first flipped the switch on. The bed, which was King was super comfy, nice variety of pillows. Overall a decent for a standard, no frills hotel

SATISFACTORY hotel - nice pool, good location, ample parking. older bldg., rooms kinda drab but functional. not many rests. near by. Have stayed here numerous times, never any problems. reasonable prices.

The staff tried hard, but the physical layout of the hotel was creepy and did not give us a feeling of security. Hotel was ok for a one night stop over. The facility was old could use some substantial updating. Whirpool was a "cold whirlpool" something i had not heard of and this certainly added to my dissappointment.

its not a place adults anymore,its mostly for familys with lound dogs that bark all night,and no sex they put you in the room were children can hear you,and the beds are head to head so making love os out because you have someone banging the walls saying hey we have children in here,i ask for a room with no children next door,and what they do put me right in the middle,so I hate the place food is old,eggs are fake,no meat.nothing is fresh.

Traveling from Maine to Fl..we always looked for Best Western signs from the highway as they were always easy on and off...always assured that if there was not availability they would check the next closest accomadations and make the necessary reservations

Everything except the TV reception was outstanding. Personnel were the best that they could possibly be. Facilities were top notch. Even the other guests that we met were happy and friendly. We loved the breakfast and my wife loved the pool.
