Description

In Nola near Naples, the Best Western Hotel Ferrari, Nola, Italy, is an elegant, comfortable hotel with modern rooms, free Wi-Fi, a garage and a shuttle service, well placed just off the A30 and A16 motorways. An easy base for business or for exploring Campania, it sits close to the major trade and logistics parks and about 16 kilometers from Naples airport. The bay and its sights are a short drive away. Nola is an ancient town on the fertile plain between Naples and Vesuvius, deep in the Campania countryside. The smoking cone of Mount Vesuvius rises close by above the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, the lively city of Naples and its great bay lie a short drive west, and the temples of Pozzuoli and the green slopes of the volcano dot the land around. Naples and the Amalfi Coast are within reach for a day by the sea.

"Wonderfull Hotel! A four star hotel with five star quality."
Stuart A, 01 Août 2026

I had never been to Nola before and I didn't really know what to expect. So I chose my hotel carefully. And I chose well. This is clearly a very well managed hotel. It is beautiful. It is difficult to know where to start to describe the great experience I had staying here. Loads of parking, then on walking into the vast lobby you are immediately struck by its modern feel and excellent layout. Check-in was very efficient and I was swiftly on my way to my room, which was lovely! It was at that point that I began to notice a few things. Firstly, not only how spotlessly clean the whole place was but also how peaceful the hotel felt. And jumping forward, I have to say that it was probably the best in terms of sleep quality I have ever had. Then on to a walk around the facilities. Simple to describe, great very reasonably priced restaurant, a great surprise! A moderately sized but nice pool, perfectly adequate and a really nice area, and loads of class everywhere you looked. Beautiful! with very comfortable leather sofas strategically placed around the hotel for comfort. But quality sofas that you were bound to sit on and fall asleep on if you were not careful. This is a great hotel. Then onto the hotel's finest asset.. the staff! Wonderful, warm, welcoming staff who are a credit to the hotel and the Best Western brand. In just eight days I felt that I had friends at this hotel. From the two ultra professional mature Italian waiters I met to the lovely, again traditional waitresses who kept a well-stocked breakfast alive from start to finish. Finally, the cleaners and housekeeping. Unbelievably good! As I have said, the whole place is spotlessly clean. This hotel is perfect! The proximity to the highways for easy navigation to all of your required destinations, two bars to sample within metres of the hotel and even a Lidl 100m away. All in a "safe as houses" area, as we British say. But also really Italian as well. I am going to be coming to Nola at least five or six times a year. I needed to find a perfect place to stay each time I come. I chose very carefully. But I did not expect to find the perfect place on the very first attempt. That's a first for me.

"Canceled flight..airline put us here"
debcoh, 15 Août 2025

Our flight out of Naples airport was cancelled back to the US so delta put a bunch of us here for the night..it appeared to have been renovated and still a bit in the process. With that being said it was clean and they provided us lunch and dinner. The room was clean and staff were friendly. It served its purpose for the night as we left quite early for our flight out

"Sleepless night due to lack of air conditioning"
Luca B, 27 Août 2024

Broken air conditioning. Inability to rest. Inability to rest. A hotel - as they say - under renovation but below the best expectations. I hope that the management of the Best Western chain will redevelop the hotel and resolve the existing problems promptly

"A smooth and relaxing stay at Hotel Ferrari"
Dominic F, 08 Février 2024

We have been using the services of this hotel around ten years, twice a year, and always having a smooth check in and check out, very good room cleanliness and services. The buffet breakfast and the morning hotel taxi service to CIS area included in the package, are the two top services of this hotel.

"Good hotel but happy to overcharge"
Ayesha H, 01 Juin 2023

I stayed at this hotel during a short holiday and we were delighted when we found it online as it was between Naples city and places like Salerno and amalfi. They advertise that they have shuttles going from the hotel to the airport, unfortunately by this they meant they would organise a taxi for you and this is where we experienced problems. We ended up having to get a 15 minute taxi from a nearby train station to the hotel which cost us €60. The taxi driver would not speak directly to us and told us we would have to book through the hotel. Trying to get anywhere was a nightmare as they told us the closest train station was far too long away to walk to and that we would have no choice but to get taxis. We were quoted €130 for a one way taxi to a neighbouring town. We decided to have a look online and found that that there was a train station 30 minutes walk away (s.vitaliano train station) where we could get a train to Nola and from there be able to get a train to almost anywhere. I was disappointed that the hotel had chosen not to mention this and couldn't help but feel they were taking advantage of the fact we were unfamiliar with our surroundings to allow local taxis to charge us ridiculously high rates. I am not writing this review just to complain about the hotel but to advice any future guests that it is possible to get a train from close by to save them hassle and money. Besides this issue the hotel was nice. It was very clean and the cleaning staff that we ran into on our second day were absolutely lovely. The restaurant staff were also lovely. The staff at front of desk were helpful at times but also came across as cold and uninterested at other times. Overall, if we had been given the correct info in regards to travel I would have given the hotel a 4/5 but unfortunately that was not the case.

"Hidden Gem"
Trixie8585, 24 Août 2019

The Ferrari Hotel is what I would call, a hidden gem. It is a very clean, beautiful, updated hotel with a wonderful, new plunge pool that came in handy during the heat wave we had, while we were on vacation last month. It also has a gym that has various weights and equipment to meet your daily workout needs. Also, it is centrally located to many of Italy's beautiful sites to visit. It's 20 mintutes from Naples and within an hours' drive to Sorrento, Pompei, Mt Vesuvius, the Royal Palace of Caserta, etc. I have stayed in many hotels but I have never met such wonderful people like the hotel staff that works at the Ferrari Hotel. They make you feel not only welcomed, but treat you like family. We stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks and the food and wine in their restaurant was spectacular. They are very accommodating to all of your needs. All in all, we give this hotel 5 stars and look forward to going back next year. ~The Iossa's

"Clean and comfy"
Tinez_Tinez, 06 Novembre 2017

We stayed here for a night on our Italy road trip after the day in Pompeii. We wanted to avoid the crazy mess of driving in Naples so picked this hotel. The reception clerk upon check in was very nice and friendly and check in was a breeze. On our way to the room the corridors were a bit dark but the hotel is trying it's part to save energy and contributes to a greener planet so that's okay. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom door was a bit squeaky but that was okay. We had breakfast with our stay and there was a nice selection of foods at the buffet to chose from. The breakfast attendant was not as friendly as the check in clerk but I think this may have been a language barrier thing as our Italian goes as far as politeness and pleasantries. Hotel had onsite parking which was great for us. We didn't explore the area around us as we had been awake for a long time so just wanted to go to sleep when we got there but it didn't look like there was much going on in the general vicinity of the hotel. Would recommend for a short stop over if traveling the country by car. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

"Dark and Dingy"
samanthaturnbull, 19 Octobre 2017

not a very pleasant part of italy and the staff seem to mirror that not very helpful and not around much. most of the time we were there the place was dark and there were considerably few guests i think maybe one other party came down to breakfast. the area surrounding the hotel is industrial not much of a safe place to go to as there is not very clear footpaths the hotel does do a shuttle servie to the airport for 55 euro which is very expensive for a 30 minute trip

"basic at best"
douggie254, 19 Octobre 2017

This hotel is very basic and the rooms are long overdue a much needed update. The Location is not good and there is nothing around the hotel so very limited with options for eating out and even a shop to buy things

"good"
mernasedrak, 29 Juin 2017

i liked my two-day stay because it was quiet and my room was very clean and neat. but staff isn't always available, they're few in number too. no pool or any access to anything fun. location is poor as well.

"a good place to stay"
Yigal V, 20 Mai 2017

Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staf. especially Refaela. nice, clean and good maintained rooms. lots of parking space. many restaurants near by. good breakfast. a good place to stay if you plan a car tour in south italy.

"Pleasant staff, excellent breakfast"
Gaston_and_Pamela, 07 Octobre 2016

We booked the room for two nights with Air Miles. This is the first hotel that we booked through Air Miles that had a separate section for people who booked through Air Miles and other such plans. We went to the main section of the hotel and it appeared to be nicer that the section we were it. Our room was spacious, had a fridge, very clean and nicely decorated. This section was at the front of the hotel so we had a balcony that we could sit out on and view the mountains. The bathroom was a decent size but looked a little dated, it could have done with a face lift. We received some towels that should have been discarded. They were the white towels with the purple stripe. Those towels appeared to have been well used and not very clean (looked grey), while the pure white towels appeared to be newer. We received a mixture of towels on both days. The the hotel lobby was beautifully decorated and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The two gentlemen in the dining room were extremely pleasant and went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, there were a variety of fresh pastries, meats, cheeses, juices, egg, yogurt and lots of fresh fruit. We (Air Miles) had to pay a very small fee for breakfast but it was well worth it. Breakfast is free for the other guests, We had a car so the free parking was nice.

"A welcomed Canadian. "
Jeffrey D, 18 Mai 2016

As we are travelling throughout Italy, we have come to expect a different kind of hotel experience than what I am used to travelling within the US and Canada. The hotel Ferrari decides to break the mold. We selected a hotel off the path, and was extremely concerned about getting around. The hotel ended up being extremely accommodating, with staff members like Lorenzo, Christian and Noemi at the front desk who was not only our host but ensured that our Italian adventure was met with ease. Getting around they introduced us to Sabotino who was able to tour us to the different destination we needed to go to for a small price. The hotel felt luxurious as compared to what we had been exposed to during our stay, and it was only enhanced because of the spectacular staff at this very clean and inviting hotel. I knew that I had to immediately write a review because of how happy this place made my lovely wife. For business or pleasure I would highly recommend you stay here.

"Very helpful staff"
funda_london, 26 Septembre 2015

Christopher at the front desk is excellent, super helpful, very professional. Tumbs up for him. The hotel looks luxury for the area and very clean but Nola has nothing to offer for travellers like us. All the hot spots like pompei, sorrento etc is far away. The train is from naples every an hour. And shuttle servise €10

"Hot,"
Tasuther, 03 Septembre 2013

Clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Stayed 2 nights while touring the area. Had problems with the front desk regarding A/C. Breakfast buffet looked like it had been out for days. There is nothing in the area, city i=of Naples was a cab ride $50 cab ride away.

"Clean, comfortable, economical choice"
PhilColorado, 28 Juin 2013

We stayed here the night before a flight out of Naples, and it was a good choice. The hotel is just off the A16 highway from Bari to Naples, about 30 minutes away from Napoli airport. The area near the hotel is nothing to be excited about, but the hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff efficient. There's underground parking (for a few Euros, not busy while we were there though the hotel itself seemed nowhere near full), good internet, and decent breakfast. One piece of advice: the hotel is indeed very near the autostrada exit, but if you go wrong you can (and we did!) circle around for a good while trying to find it. A proper map or GPS are very useful unless you're a local in this part of Italy.

"Nice relaxing hotel"
Burt79, 03 Mai 2013

I found this hotel relaxing on the outskirts Naples. I stayed for 3 nights with great food and serving up the best mozzarella di bufala of course as we are in the region for it. I would recommend a room non street side for less noise as the hotel is on a quite busy street.

Owner Response, 03 Mai 2013
