San Severino Park Hotel & SPA, BW Signature Collection

Hotel and pool seemed lovely on arrival . €15 for a bed at the pool. Receptionist Peter was very welcoming and I would highly rate him for explaining everything . They don't allow any snacks or own drinks which I totally agree with but then don't have anything but crisps till 12.30 . So be aware of this if coming with children. Unfortunately the staff at the pool bar where too wrapped up in themselves , on several occasions i got ignored whilst waiting to be served at bar even though there was staff behind it and no other guests. Which resulted in us leaving the hotel for lunch and drinks. Such ashame I would have come back if this hadn't been the case so rude , specially unknown to them I speak perfect Italian . This is just a reflection on pool day not the hotel as a whole . Good music all day was a plus.

Very nice hotel, not very modern in its structure but solid and comfortable. My room was clean, large and the bathroom had an impressive tub. Breakfast was very good and with a wide choice.

Lovely hotel, adequate breakfast provision and choice for evening meals for our group of 41. Very professional, obliging, pleasant and hard working staff. Our safe didn't function but was swiftly rectified. It was a pity we didn't get the chance to use the facilities, lovely pool and grounds.

It was our first time staying at this hotel, and the experience was wonderful. The breakfast and service were fantastic, and the customer service was exceptional. Special thanks to the management, especially Luigi and his team, for making our stay truly memorable.

Stayed 2 nights as part of a group tour group dinner first eve was just ok but not as interesting as the a la carte menu promised but in retrospect it was obviously the hotel making maximum margin from the charges for our meal! Had two power cuts while were there, local issue as only our wing was affected but electronic doors didn't work so couldn't get into room until power fixed. Asked at reception for local restaurants, and others in group shared the same response from reception, which was there are no restaurants you can get to without a car as it was dangerous!! We found a nice local small restaurant simple but great taste and value which many of us walked to in 5 minutes along side streets! Another one I saw on Google maps about 7 mins walk was across a dual carriageway...... but on streetview you could see that road from hotel passed under the "busy" road!! Apparently this is a common strategy adopted by the hotel to increase their restaurant trade, which I find amazing and highly unethical. For that reason alone I wouldn't ever be able to recommend it!!

The room was spacious, a bit dated but fortunately fairly clean. Hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast was fine. What we found very annoying, however, was that you had to pay for the sunbeds by the pool. We find this very customer unfriendly. In addition, the location between only main roads might have been good to serve as a base, but the town is completely uninspiring and it is difficult to find a nice place to eat something if you do not want to do so in the hotel restaurant.

Absolutely Terrible experience. Loud noises middle of night, Terrible Breakfast, No room for us at pool as it was a Weekend and all the Locals use the Pool area. Horrible experience at the Bar, Rude and Impolite Front desk . Do Not recommend this Hotel

Easily accessible from the autostrada, this hotel provided a great base from which to visit places of interest, friends and family. The rooms are spacious, very clean, well set out. The hotel has a great swimming pool area which is way above the norm. The crowning glory is it's Sansé restaurant - the quality, presentation, taste and range of the dishes is superb and the Staff are helpful, professional and personable. Vincenzo as Maitre d' and Dario are to be commended for the service and advice. We will return.

The room was great, and the hotel was a good place to explore the Amalfi Coast without spending too much. However, the bed was uncomfortable, and the hotel was extremely noisy! We had a room on the second floor by the swimming pool in front of a parking lot. On the first day, there was a party with loud music until late at night. The next day, at 7am, many loud noises came from the window, like someone was throwing big, heavy things at the back of a truck. We also heard car alarms and other things. It was simply impossible to sleep.

The staff here are very helpful and the room was clean and spacious. Location is in the countryside on a highway and we didn't have a car so it was not convenient at all for us at 70euros return to Salerno centre by taxi. Breakfast has bacon and eggs along with continental. Pastries are constantly being refreshed. Very disappointed that you had to pay 10 euros to use the pool for the day. And then wear a swimming cap... what decade are we in? Considering the location was so far out of the centre, we did decide to use the pool but it was fully booked! Ive travelled a lot and have never been anywhere where you have to book the pool and pay when you're a guest at the hotel. The worst part was the noise every night from the pool bar and fireworks. They provide ear plugs but they are genuinely pointless. The pool bar serves nice food and we also had room service one night which was quick and tasty.

Outdated Rooms, Terrible Breakfast, Scrambled eggs were horrible, bacon was raw, cappuccino were warm, Staff rude and impolite. Noise at Midnight moving Furniture. They charge Guests for Pool Towels and Umbrellas. Not Recommended

We stayed at this Hotel on Holiday, Location is very good and staff where friendly and helpful at all times. Parking is also excellent. On another note we phoned to book a massage and specifically enquired if we can use the facilities of the spa when we book the massage, They confirmed more than once that we can but when we went on the day they wanted to charge us extra 36 euros each person to use the facilities only !! They told us it is written in the small booklet which was never given to us and when we phoned and also spoke hours before this was never mentioned. Also we done several massages in different countries and when the custom is that when the massage is finished client is taken to a relaxation room and offered a drink after the massage. This was not done here, when we finished they just told us we are done and you can leave. This is truly not ethical and not the way.

Hotel has a name with SPA and they aren't offering this with room price, you have to pay for SPA per 3 hours, and SPA is small place without normal pool for swiming, only saunas and jakuzi, not for this price value. from the Hotel lobby you will see that it's not comfortabe place, room not clean, bathrooms with problems, staff not offering you solution or caring, Restourant staff was behavaring like I was thier waitress not they, very strict not smiling, I spent there 6 days and got awful service. breakfast with more sweet products and many cheapest cakes, dirty vegitables, everything without good taste.

The entire hotel smelt like smoke!! Outdated but the staff is great!! The restaurant was great as well! The rooms are dirty and outdated! The air conditioner takes hours to cool the room to a comfortable temperature and the beds are uncomfortable!

Great service in the SPA specially from Arianna Pia y Enza, very good massages and specially all the attentions. Strongly recommend for a relaxing day and close to many interesting and beautiful places and ceramic.

We stayed a week and loved every minute of it. The hotel is immaculate, the air-conditioned rooms are spacious and comfortable and cleaned everyday to a very high standard. The pool and gardens are gorgeous and well maintained with the addition of a pool bar which came in really handy. Good choice at the buffet breakfast and fresh coffee served by the staff. All the staff were lovely, helpful and catered for all our needs. The icing on the cake was the beauty and spa facilities at the hotel with a fabulous heated pool, well worth a visit, we would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again.

We stayed just for the night on our way back to Rome (and the back to Sweden). This is a perfect hotel to stay at and their staff were amazing with our 10 month year old child. During dinner two of the staff played around with here and we had a really nice meal. Comfy rooms, relaxing pool and a friendly place. Recommended!

I liked the hotel - the gardens were beautiful. Our room was immaculately clean, functional and had great air conditioning. Breakfast was good and we had an evening meal which was really good (though limited choice). This was all the good! The but was that on both days that we stayed the pool closed early for private functions and all the guests from the hotel were told to leave!!! I really didn't think this was appropriate. It was hot and some guests had been out sightseeing most of the day or travelling and just wanted to chill out by the pool and cool down but were chased away by the pool attendant. This would put me off going back which was a shame because otherwise the hotel was good. The location isn't the greatest but this suited us as we had a hire car so used it as a base to potter about the Amalfi coast and then onwards to Naples for our flight home.

While having lunch, the dj was playing music and my group and other guests were dancing . Suddenly, one of the receptionists came into the restaurant room and ,in a very angry way, ordered to stop music immediately, because she was working and did not want to be disturbed. She was very rude and discourteous. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION: ZERO!!!!
