The staff was super friendly. But we had to switch rooms as our first room was dirty and stains in the bedding. Our second room also had stains on the top blanket. My kids were exhausted by this point so I just took the top blanket off. The hotel was quiet and the breakfast was amazing.
We always enjoy our stay, this time we noticed the facility is showing a lot of wear and tear for instance appliances in the room were wore down and nearly broken, parking lot lights were not on at night and made the security look very sketchy. Furniture in the room was starting to show ware. Would be nice if someone did an audit on the facility to maintenance and bring the quality back up to five star.
The service was great. We felt welcome after a long day, checking in at 10:00 pm. The lobby was clean & organized. There was a nice fountain in the front of the hotel. The staff was friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with a good variety and the staff was continually restocking.
Very noisy room. We booked 2 months in advance and ended up in a sub par room. Staff was nice. Rooms were just ok. Parking was nice. Easy in and out from freeway. Thier in-house bar was a joke. Breakfast was just the basic hotel breakfast. The food was not very good.
The hotel seems a bit outdated and older but they've obviously tried to update the rooms at some point. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, however, there was peeling paint on the bathroom door, the toilet had no seat cover, the desk chair fabric was splitting, there were stains on the ottoman, and there were paint drops on the vinyl floor near the entry.
The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bedding was also very nice. The location provided ample choices for dinner and shopping. The breakfast food was average in comparison to other places I have stayed. The check-in process was easy as was the check-out process. The staff was very friendly and professional.
Greeted by friendly professional front desk clerk. Sorry can't remember his name. Atmosphere of hotel quiet and serene. Sleepy looks a baby in the comfortable room. Will return Shaun next business trip. Cons- slow elevator and ice only on 2nd and 4th floor
Great quiet location. The proximity to I5 was convenient for us but far enough away from the highway that it felt peaceful and quiet. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean. Would stay again and recommend to family and friends traveling through the area.
Very clean. Staff is very helpful and courteous. I stay there every time I am in Keizer. Great breakfast selection. Coffee tea and ice water available 24/7 in the lobby. I have tasted at a similar hotel in Keizer, but the Best Western Premier is my go-to place.
Absolutely wonderful hotel. It's CLEAN! Everyone at the front desk is amazing. It was a wonderful place to come back to everyday after work. I've already booked another stay, because it's a great clean, safe, and friendly environment. There are many amenities including pool and exercise room.
Nice comfy beds, it's quiet, good parking and friendly staff. I was in Salem for a car audio contest and was looking at reviews. This hotel was at the top of the list and it shows. It's definitely worth staying here. The breakfast is a normal hotel buffet style and the coffee is decent.
Very pleasant stay on all areas of comfort. Congratulations on providing an excellent hotel experience. Scheduled the same day, got a great rate, bed was awesome, quiet with no highway noise, saw children around but never heard them. Free parking, free coffee, free breakfast, very helpful staff. THANKS!
Great staff who treat you like Family!!! Communications are quick by use of text messages which is great!!! Clean and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast with both many hot and cold options. Need a slightly late check-out and our request was quickly granted. Would definitely recommend this location.
I wish they didn't have a 3rd party washer and dryer. But as expected great service and great facility with amenities. My family enjoyed the pool and later check out. We will be returning and staying in the future. I love the beds and the king room had a wet bar and pull out couch option as well. 4/5 stars
I was very happy with my experience with Best Western. The room was clean and well maintained and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I specifically stayed here because it was off the beaten path, and quiet. I did this because of my last experience, (great place but so much loud traffic noise and I can't sleep without a fan.) This hotel was so quiet, clean and wonderful and I highly recommend it if you're ever in the Kaiser area!
Wonderful hotel! Brandy went above and beyond to make out stay a phenomenal experience. This hotel was very clean and the breakfast was great as well. The water in the shower is hot and doesnt run out which is so so nice after a long day. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Brandy really made the whole experience for us. She was wonderful and will keep us going back to Best Western's
Clean, well appointed, nice beds, pool and hot tub were nice. Nice shower. Working fridge. Typical good but not phenomenal hot breakfast Friendly, responsive staff. Quiet functioning air conditioning. Only downside was the very slow elevator.
Great breakfast, efficient check-in, comfortable bed and quiet room. Would highly recommend this hotel! Price was reasonable and value seemed good. A few miles from freeway but close enough. Would recommend and will likely stay again if in the area.
Beds are very comfortable and staff were extremely helpful! I would stay there again. Great choices for breakfast had a lot of amenities to choose from. Pool, hot tub , breakfast, bar. I just wish they would have had more rooms available and I would have stayed there longer.
Brandi was one of the best front desk clerks I had in all my travels. My only suggestion is that all motels should follow suite, with the texting program, another thing is a first for me. Please don't let anything happen to Brandi she is a keeper wanted the best for me... I rate her a 10 in all aspects
Comfortable place. Better than most older hotels in Salem. They did put us in a handicap room, which was awkward at many times. (No storage for our hanging items, no toilet seat cover, shower hand held spray head was difficult.) wish I would've brought my own pillow, and definitely body dents in the mattress in room 420.
Beautiful hotel and rooms, in a quiet but centrally-located area of town. 5 minutes from the interstate. Wonderful staff, happy to answer any questions or concerns. They allowed me to check in a little bit early, which was really helpful for my schedule.
Comfortable and clean. Staff helpful and almost always available. Dog friendly spot as well. Conveniently located to food places and near I-5. Quiet at night and ample parking available at all hours. Love that it is staffed 24 hours so that any issues can be addressed right away
The ladies who checked in were so friendly and made me feel more comfortable staying there! The room was perfect and smelt amazing! The lobby was absolutely amazing! My son loved the hot tub also it was a very peaceful and pleasant trip for us and check out was so easy!
Rotten egg smell from the sink and wet bar sink was overwhelming when washing face, brushing teeth. Room “shook” due to laundry facilities' vibrations. TV didn't work. Found two pairs of dirty pants in clothes chest. They offered me a different room but it smelled of wet carpet and urine? Avoid this one if you have a choice. Couldn't wait to leave.
Hotel needs some updates. Lots of stains on all the surfaces, but the pool is nice. Floors/walls are SUPER thin. We heard everyone walking around at all hours. Breakfast is decent, and the area in general is OK. It's a typical random hotel that could use some modernization.
It was merely a one night stay as we drove north to Seattle on hwy 5. Good sized room, very helpful staff and clean rooms. Breakfast was somewhat less that other BW's, but doable. Towels were nice and shower was great. Good choice when doing a road trip!
Clean, quiet and good breakfast. Staff was also very responsive with very clean and newly refurbished rooms while also being very comfortable. Distance from my work location was also very close with good and safe surroundings with multiple food options around
Love the comfort. They had the AC going when we arrived to ensure we had a place to cool off. The room smelled clean. Comfortable bedding and pillows. The only downside were our fridge leaked a little but still kept the drinks cold. The bathroom is tiny, but served it's purpose as well. Beautiful lighting above the sink and huge mirror Also, enjoyed the full length mirror next to the bed to sit and curl my hair.
Almost everything about this hotel was amazing. The people, the room, cleanliness, all top notch. If there is a complaint it's a minor one at that. The towels were old, yellow, and scratchy. That's definitely NOT enough from keeping me from staying again
VERY friendly and helpful staff! Great breakfast. Thanks for having a bar! Pillows could be bigger on the king size bed. We always stay here on our visits in the area.....................................................great time! Thanks.
The room was excellent. It must be newly remodeled in the past year. The bed was really comfortable and the staff was thorough and friendly. If you're looking for a clean and comfortable hotel, Best Western Keiser is the place! This hotel is also in a safe area. I had no worries about car burglary. It's only 5 minutes from I-5.
Overall, we had a pleasant experience. The room was mostly clean, just a few stains on the carpet. We brought our dog with us, so this may be due to the fact we were in a pet-friendly room. Breakfast was good, and we loved that there was coffee and tea provided in the lobby any time of the day.
The staff were amazing, absolutely loved the ladies in front. Only issue would have to be the shower no matter how you shut the glass doors they leaked water. Besides that we were happy with our stay, wish it was more for fun instead of a family matter.
Rooms were very clean and hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. This place is also pet friendly. I did not take a pet, but I also did not hear a bunch of noise though out the night. Gym was clean, pool and hot tub were very refreshing. I will definitely stay again
I had a great stay. I had a problem at check in and the front desk agents, especially Mandy were so understanding and accommodating. The hotel is quiet, welcoming, and relaxed. The room was clean and the parking was easy. Breakfast was good and I had no issues whatsoever during my stay.
Great stay. Location was awesome. Room smelled like smoke a bit and we couldn't figure out the air conditioning. The staff was amazing. The two gals working in the evening were so helpful. They got us pool towels.Extra blankets were no problem. A very good experience overall.
I travel to Salem fairly often, and have stayed at several hotels and had terrible experiences. This Best Western is the best. You don't hear any noise from your neighbors, the rooms are clean, and their customer service is off the charts. They're dog friendly and have a good grassy area for potty time. This is the only place my family stays when we go to Salem now.
Very awesome hotel, clean and comfortable. Are was great, really nice hotel . The desk girls were really nice and welcoming ! Would definitely recommended this hotel, only thing I was bummed about was I picked this hotel for the indoor pool but it was shut down for the whole time I was there and I wasn't notified before which was a bummer :/ the breakfast was great. full service not just snacks !
Clean good size rooms in a quiet location for being in a city. The complimentary breakfast was awesome and the staff was courteous and helpful. Will definitely stay there again if we come to the area. As usual, can't go wrong with a Best Western.
When we checked in, the hotel clerk gave us a room that was already occupied. When we unlocked the door we were embarrassed to find two people already on the bed! After we reported the mistake we were given another room. The second room had a toilet that leaked. The manager sent a repair person and fixed it. Then the phone didn't work and the manager told us that the phone wouldn't be fixed until the following week. He offered us another room but we were already settled in, so we chose to stay. We stayed seven days and only got room service once. The garbage got so full that I put it outside the room so that it would be emptied. Then I noticed that several other rooms had their garbage outside in the hall too. Last but not least, I wanted to stay an extra night and forgot to tell the clerk by check out time, so I was charged the price of the room plus $100.00 extra for the error. I would not recommend this hotel.
Ample parking, quiet location, nice staff, the vehicle charging area was helpful, breakfast was pretty good, I enjoyed the design on the pattern of the walls. It's very hard to stretch this review to so many characters can't I just say the place was clean and I enjoyed my stay?
Extremely awful.. a family that was there for the Entire week I was there, Was staying in room three eleven , which was right above us, Their kids were jumping and running all the way past Midnight.. I would get up late at night to complain. There was never any follow-up from the manager to make sure everything was better. Instead I would have to go and complain. One night I wasn't the only one complaining. Horrible experience. No other way to put it..
Quiet and convenient. The hotel was full with numerous softball teams staying there. They kept the staff very busy and mostly took over. Other than that it was pleasant as usual. It is unfortunate there is only one elevator as it can be a bit of a wait.
I was upgraded at arrival for no charge. The room was very clean and spacious. the bed was very comfortable. A grocery store really close by . The staff was able to put a sack breakfast together for me as I was needing to check out super early, 1:45am.
Overall it is a good hotel and location for the price you pay. The property is fairly affordable and looks new. The breakfast could be better than what other hotels offer. They need to take extra care of the rooms cleanness especially the hotel looks new.
Everything was Great and Mandy and Alexis when I stayed there they were so awesome. They helped us out. they were so nice the morning people were kind of rude and snobby and I didn't get their names and I stayed there Thursday the 25th and I left Friday the 26th and whoever worked Friday the 26th that morning were kind of rude to me
Excellent location and facilities. Very friendly staff and clean premises. Only complain was the design of the shower doors. We were in Room 308 and there was always a wet puddle on the foot towel. Needs to be fixed. An easy fix for a great hotel.
The staff was amazing, they went out of their way to help you. Front desk staff, manager, breakfast and cleaning staff were all wonderful. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and breakfast was excellent! We stayed 4 nights for the Oregon 70.3 triathlon.
Amazing friendly staff who went above and beyond with any request. We were there for the Ironman 70.3 and the staff made Grab and Go packs for any athlete who needed it on race day and they accommodated the large volume of guests with positivity and enthusiasm! Would definitely recommend this hotel!
Cons: 1-had ants in the room for all 5 days and we were on the third floor and asked them to spray 3x. 2-Shower leaked onto the bathroom floor so we had to line towels along the bottom. 3-a bunch of stains on the carpet 4-no towels at the pool for the first 2 days. I told the front desk both days as we had to get them from the gym. 5- had to set the thermostat to 60° to keep the room around 72°. 6-sheets had holes in them Pros: 1-Fairly comfy beds and pillows. 2-decent breakfast 3-morning reception person was super friendly 4-safe area and good location to Salem
Great location for exploring the Willamette Valley. We stayed there for a triathlon in Salem and it worked out great as our home base. Hotel is very clean and has a nice, comfortable atmosphere. Decent morning breakfast and close to some nice restaurants in and around the Keizer/Salem area.
Clean, safe, good location, good breakfast. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. I will be staying at this location in the future. Booked through super.com. First time using them so I was worried but everything went without issue.
Everything was great except that the AC unit rattled. The room was clean and even though I arrived really late, the staff was friendly and helpful. I also liked that the hotel isn't right off the freeway...it was very quiet (except for the AC unit).
Comfortable beds, pool room had toilet paper stuck to ceiling, feces or food on the ceiling and walls. Used to give free drink coupons out no longer do that. Breakfast was not good at all and everything was out that was a choice. Used to like it here, not sure we will return.
Clean, comfortable hotel - it feels new and fresh. Friendly staff. Very enjoyable stay. The pool was great for the kids, and it's located in a conveinent area with stores and restaurants. Will definitely stay again next time we need to be in the area.
Staff was great and the facility friendly and well maintained. There was plenty of parking and they let us in early to the pool before checkins. My son said the hall way on the third floor was a little creepy with the lighting and wall paper, but he says that he would still give it 5 stars. Kids loved the pool!
The hotel was full of baseball players and kids were allowed to run up and down the halls and slam doors until well after 10 PM. The breakfast was overtaken by all these kids, there was no place to sit, and the food area was a huge unappetizing mess. We couldn't eat there even though we had planned to. The pool was also overtaken by kids rough housing at a high volume and playing some game with a ball-unusable space for us as well. All in all, maybe it was just a bad weekend to stay there but it wasn't a great experience. Since it's really close to the Little League Park, it's likely that there will be teams staying there. Not a good value for the experience.
Great place, only downside is even with the new girl they need more help. ALSO, I come to Keizer to spend time with my grandkids and take them swimming, but the pool is a little cold and their lips turn blue after a short amount of time. Please keep it a little warmer.
Excellent room on the fourth floor. Couch is a bit stiff, but the other two chairs were comfortable. The desk chair was a bit too easy to lean back. Shower was great. Staff was excellent. Very friendly. Breakfast had GF oatmeal, and that was a welcome addition. Dog friendly. Very clean throughout.
When I went to book a room online for my elderly mother and me, I was unable to find a room at a hotel that had two queen beds with accessibility for my mother who is recovering from a broken leg and has several complicating medical issues. I decided to call the hotel directly, and staff was so helpful in booking the appropriate room to accommodate my mother. When we arrived at the hotel, I had to leave my mother in the car while I checked in so that I could easily assist her from the car with her walker to the room. Again, staff was amazingly compassionate and made things very easy for my mom and me to park the car when there was no handicap spot available. I personally stopped at the front desk in the morning to let them know what a restful night my mother and I had had in the hotel and that we would definitely be coming back. It was a very pleasant stay and the staff was so friendly and helpful.
Shower had mold in it and found left over remnants from previous guests in the room. Management and staff were friendly. Housekeeping goes around every other day. They hold $50 for deposit (Normal) but still hasn't been placed back into my account several days after checkout.
Front desk employees were great. Breakfast was okay. Sausage and eggs were very watery and had a bad taste. My room was good until I opened the door to get to the fridge. Had to kill an ant and ot was very dirty all around the fridge. Spider webs behind the chair in the corner. The chair hadn't been moved in a very long time.
Very clean, wonderful breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits, cereal, yougart, juices, pastries juices, and much more. Friendly staff, took time to explain hotel layout, and also explain bonus system and advantage of booking with Best Western directly instaed of third party. Gave me number and email to insure contacting Best Western directly. Very quiet, didn't hear shower, fans thumping from upstairs. Slept very good. Reccommend the hotel to individuals, couples and families. Great indoor pool. Fitness room well equipped
We had a great time at your hotel. The bed and pillows were Amazing and nice spacious rooms! The breakfast included was very nice. Friendly staff. Parking was very easy and restaurants close by and walkable! Thank-you! Ron and Diane Wozniak
Nice thick pillows. Fairly spacious room with a divider between the two televisions. Decent haul for breakfast. Ample parking. Extra blankets and pillow on request.Staff was friendly. Only negs; scrambled eggs probably from a mix, too soft.
I was super impressed with the staff. They were friendly, professional, and helpful. The bed was also super comfortable, and the room was clean. My toddlers loved the indoor pool. Breakfast was good. I would stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.
I booked a room in Keizer to attend two graduation ceremonies. The room was clean and the breakfast was good! The staff were friendly and helpful. The hot tub was down but the pool was open and was nice. Enjoyed using the small gym as well. Would recommend!
I've been coming by here for years. The hotel has been totally revamped since my early trips.its the best breakfast in any hotel I've stayed out. And now there's a complete bar in the evening—something new. Very comfortable large rooms, with sofa, and great bedding. Bathroom and shower brand new. Only issue: pillows too big and stiff.
Loved the room! We have stayed a few times now, but this room was the best. The coffee bar and living room were divided from the bedroom and even had a 2nd tv. Wish it had been top flr though. Lots of footfall from above. Breakfast should include a barista for coffee drinks you pay extra to get.
The room was spacious and comfortable. TV was huge, but no apps available. Bed was very comfortable. Water from bathroom sink smelled terrible but water from kitchenette sink was fine. Very weird. Manager said there are trying to find the source of the problem. Breakfast was ok. Bad bacon but good biscuits and gravy. I would stay there again.
Nice hotel. Clean comfortable rooms. Pet friendly, working laundry. Had a problem with television and reported problem and they had it working before I returned to my room. We made a good choice staying at this hotel.
The room was spacious and comfortable. I wish the bed had been by the window as the bathroom was very noisy. We had to listen to every toilet flush from what sounded like every room above us. The insulation between floors is nonexistent as we had to endure running children in the room above us. I really enjoyed the small garden area outside and below our window. It was quiet and beautiful to look at. All in all I would stay again. Maybe you could move the smoking area away from the front door..passing through the smoke sucked.
Front desk were nice and helpful. One EV charging station which was very convenient if someone is doesn't get to it first, but we did get a chance to use it. Please take a look at sink in room 322, when you first turn on the water it emits a stinky odor. Fridge needs repairs as it isn't cold enough. Rooms were clean and it was quiet, area was safe.
Staff was friendly , helpful , and personable . We stayed in a room that was equipped with a kitchenette which made it really nice to be able to use late at night . The hotel is also in a great location . We were close to resteraunts grocery stores .and our favorite coffee stands . Our stay was enjoyable and we will definitely be staying here again .
Picked this BW Premier location as it was close to my event and felt it was in a very safe location. The problems started when I went to bed, all pillows were really full and firm. I need a soft pillow to sleep well. I had received a text message upon check in that said basically text us if you need anything during your stay. So at 10:40 at night I texted for a soft pillow. A day later still no response on the text . I called the front desk and asked for a softer pillow. Was told that, yes, we get that complaint a lot. Said they had a couple softer ones but had already given them out. I slept on a bath towel with my sweat pants on top. Difficult night. Next morning at check out, was asked about my stay. Again told front desk about pillow issue. Once again, get the response we hear that a lot. If they keep getting complaints about the pillows, why haven't they done something about it when clearly they know they have a problem. Poor management. At $216 a night, one should expect a decent nights rest. Disappointed in BW.
Good service nice gym clean rooms everyone was very nice and accommodating o problem getting what I needed I would definitely recommend best western to my family and friends and anyone who asked definitely go and enjoy yourself and be blessed
Very convenient with all the stores and food in walking distance very nice clean place customer service was pleasant as well the stay
Really great place . Awesome staff they upgraded my wife and me for her birthday first day away from the baby since she was born. snacks are expensive but theres a dollar store down the street. The pool was perfect so was the hot tub bed was super soft. overall me and my wife had a great time and relaxed.
Upon entering the lobby, there was a strong persistent odor from an electronic scent device. I was told it was "a fan." After a few minutes, my lungs were irritated and I started coughing. That is never a good sign. A place that is clean has no odor and does not need a scent device to cover up anything on a property. Hotel personnel finally shut off the scent device and I completed checking in. On the phone prior to arriving, the hotel mentioned they would put us on the top floor (4th floor). Now I understood why, because of the scent device in the lobby. Hoping our room was better, we had the window open to air out the room and even brought along our personnel air purifier. After a couple hours, the air quality in the room did not improve. We ended up sleeping in our car because of a room we could not use.
For being just off a busy street the road noise was not even noticeable. The rooms are spacious, clean, and for once, plenty of towels. Those of us with long hair need more than one. Check in was super quick and the staff cheerful & friendly. Overall a great stay.
Comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff, clean room, not much noise. Basically a great hotel for a great rate. Family friendly and business friendly. I will definitely stay there again. Only complaint is there appears to be only one washer and dryer if you were staying longer.
Lots of small issues added up. Random people loitering in the extended lot when I arrived. My TV didn't work. The toilet is tiny and looks like it's from 1960. The bed pillows were all way too thick, at least have some variety of thickness. The room AC was set to 60 when I arrived at 8pm, and when I awoke at 4am, it was at 60 again even tho I set it to 68. The furnishings are the lowest possible quality and all had small signs of damage. The neighborhood is mediocre. And I hope you aren't the last room near the side door exit because then you enjoy hearing that door slam shut every 2 minutes when you're staying to sleep. Overall, this place looked good on the surface, but it was too easy to see past the facade. Stay somewhere else.
This is a very nice hotel, however my only complaint is the bed pillows. They are probably 6” thick and very hard. We called the front desk to ask for softer pillows but they were not available. Woke up with a sore neck. Otherwise the hotel was clean and comfortable.
The facility was very clean and comfortable. Every staff member I encountered was extremely helpful and courteous, and I felt safe in the neighborhood. The bar served a mean margarita! Breakfast buffet was good, from scrambled eggs and sausage/bacon to cereal and waffles, plus much more. Coffee was even great!
I love this BW, great location, clean and the front desk staff is awesome. Sorry I forgot her name (red head), but she is so welcoming. Only con are the pillows great for sitting up watching tv but there a little big to lay on. The greetings are always bright.
The room is very clean and pillows are excellent. Only concern is the maid service didn't clean our room as requested. I would recommend the stay but remind the main desk to have your room cleaned
Great room! Super spacious room, especially for business travel. I was able to set up my work area and still had plenty of room for my personal belongings as well. Customer service was on point, breakfast options plentiful, and the location is great for a Salem work location with easy access to the freeway to get back to the airport.
Fan in bathroom was real noicy. Bathroom door squeaked. The place was lacking TLC, tea water was not hot. Walking out to Eagle fountain was slick algae growing on walkway. I have stayed at best westerns for years and this one was not the standaers I am used to.
Our room was clean, beds comfy and room was quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. Downside- the bathroom was tiny and the sink was in the bedroom. I personally don't like that arrangement.
Wonderful staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Easy to find and clean area. Lots of nice food places. I would go again.
Very accommodating for travel with a baby. They had a Pack and Play for use. Breakfast is standard and well made. Very comfortable stay
Best Western Premier Salem/Keizer was delightfully quiet at night. The staff were exceptionally professional and endearingly friendly. The included breakfast buffet was far above average. I highly recommend a stay here and would definitely repeat as a customer.
I had issues with 3rd party booking, the hotel itself took care of everything and rebooked for same price. Thank You So Much!! I would definitely stay again... if your in the keizer or Salem area...stay here! They have great service and will fit every need you could want.
Starting with the check-in desk (Heather), everything was pleasant and helpful. The room was very nicely appointed with an upholstered bench for our luggage, a desk with comfortable chair, and another comfortable chair. The lighting was excellent, and there were abundant plug-ins for all our devices. Breakfast was ho-hum, but nothing worth complaining about. We would definitely return to this hotel when in the area.
The third party that I booked through booked the wrong room. The hotel did a great job getting us a different room which was very nice. We enjoyed our 4 day stay. I learned to call the hotel directly next time. They said that they would price match. I also joined the rewards program crisis
I've stayed at dozens of Best Westerns and this one is the best. The Premier really makes a difference- it feels like a nice business hotel. I really appreciate the 24/7 coffee bar in the lobby. The breakfast was good too.
The room was great and the kitchenette even had all the things we needed to cook dinner. Construction was going on, but it didn't bother us at all. No exterior doors were available except the main entrance, but not a huge deal.
This is probably the best Best Western we have stayed at. Having a bar and food options in the hotel was great. The food options within walking distance is also a plus. It was also very clean. They have a workout room, a business center and sell food and snacks for after hours.
To full pillows they were a little hard to get comfortable but the pool was great fun for the grandchildren. They got lots of time to spend there. Breakfast was good but not one of the better ones we have had for continental breakfasts. It's really annoying that they only accept reviews over 200 characters. They would have had a better review if it was shorter.
The check in and check out staff were amazing. Very friendly. The room was neat, clean and the bed was so comfortable! The fridge and microwave came in handy. There were a lot of menities that we could have used if we wanted. There was a great variety of food for breakfast. I enjoyed my visit.
Tv didn't turn on. We tried to turn it on several times and never worked. Told someone that night we arrived and was told someone should fix it by tomorrow morning. We go shopping and out for lunch. Thinking it would be ready by that time, it never was.
Ants within 15 mins of my arrival, they tried to spray but they still came back Comfy bed but it was hard to rest after I saw more ants Staff was friendly and the quick breakfast was nice in the morning. But I will for sure bring my own ant traps next time.
Room was clean and comfortable. There was a hiccup with my room reservation, but they made things right without issue. They provided whatever I needed and answered any weird questions I had. They got me into my room early and made my stay relaxing.
Everything other than the weak WiFi was excellent. Service desk ladies were top notch and very friendly. Room was clean and really enjoyed the vehicle electric charging station for free. Would definitely would stay here again. Improvement of the WiFi signal should be a priority. As a platinum BW member I expect something more than a free bottle of water. Work on that too.
The Keizer Best Western Premier is an amazing place! The staff is top notch, friendly, and very professional. Checking in was a breeze and the room was very comfortable, and most importantly, clean. I stay here everytime I visit Salem. Thank you Keizer Best Western Premier!
Horrible sound in wall from other rooms shower and fan. Nothing done about it could not sleep and ants in bathroom and on sink again nothing done not even sorry not eve acknowledged with text from night before. Manager just shrugged me off not happy
Wonderful staff and accommodations are amazing. Went for a business trip and I felt right at home! The staff were very welcoming and the amenities provided at this establishment far exceed my expectations. My only complaint is I wish I could have stayed longer.
Comfortable room with great sitting area! Enjoyed the short get away! Room layout & bed was appreciated & able to spread out into working area during my stay. Beyond expectation of a standard hotel stay room. Enjoyed access to hot tub 24/7 & hearty breakfast service!
The hotel was amazing to be honest, the bed was so good to sleep on, it's so comfy that you can sink right in, same with the pillows. The pillows are the comfiest I have ever slept on, the entire bed was just the comfiest I have ever felt. The bathroom was the cleanest and the most tidy I have ever seen. The towels are so soft and white that you can tell just by looking at them they're the most clean towels you will ever use in your life. The bathroom shower has the best water pressure and heat, everything about the stay was amazing. Especially the breakfast. The breakfast was more than amazing, it's definitely worth the stay.
Check in was a little slow due to another customer issue, was thanked and given water for being Diamond Select members. Hotel was busy but quiet. Room was basic nice king room with small kitchenette. Clean and very comfortable bed. Breakfast selections were minimal and was not stocked well at 9am when we came down. Few pastry selections, not great for a Premier class. Bartender the night we stayed was slowwwww and not customer service oriented. Pool is colder than we like and hottub was good. Pool area is nice but Pool too cold. Good location.
Friendly service, clean rooms and property... the last couple of days of our stay, there was an ant issue in the room, but overall satisfied. Would stay again if ever in the area. The surrounding area seems pretty safe and decent. Good quality. Kinda bummed that construction took away the convenience of doing laundry there at the hotel... found a laundry service nearby though.
I was taken in by the ratings but my experience was surprisingly poor. First off, the staff were all nice and it was clean. However, my positives end there. We checked in at 3:30 pm and were informed that the hot tub and pool were closed for the day. Then went up to our room to learn we and our dog were in a pet room that would normally be great for people who need to take their dog out to go potty- at the very end of the hall with stairs next door going directly out to pet area- but those stairs were barred, sign said ‘due to construction' so had to go all the way down to the other end of the hall, go down those stairs and past the front desk to get him out for each potty break. Then got take out to eat in our room, planning to watch the Oscars on TV. First the tv wouldn't turn on at all, then we finally got it to turn on with sound and no images. I went downstairs to tell the front desk and was told, “Some of the tvs have been doing that lately; try turning it off for ten minutes and then back on, sometimes both the sound & image will come on then..” That did not work! All in all, definitely NOT as advertised! I'm not a frequent review writer, but posting this to warn others.
Fairly serious Ant problem in the room. I left my breakfast plate in the top of the dresser for a few minutes and it was black with ants in minutes. I know ants can be a problem at times in Western Oregon. But I have never encountered them in a hotel room before.
Comfortable, clean, spacious room. Wish the temperature could have been adjusted more effectively. Thermostat didn't seem to control AC unit but let management know and they promised to look into the matter. Body wash in shower was empty.
My partner and I got a room right next to the elevator. It was not very noticeable unless there are people waiting. We were able to enjoy the free breakfast. Luckily they had a warm breakfast. Check out was very fast and easy. Sadly parts of the hotel was flooded.
We've stayed here a few times now. They have nice rooms and very comfortable beds. The nice pool and hot tub is always enjoyable. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's in close proximity to plenty of dining establishments and shopping centers.
Just going to give the bullet points. - friendly staff and very kind - room was clean and tidy, but the bathroom was falling apart all around the edges. Door frame looked like a dog had been left in there and tore apart the door. And mold around the bottom of the shower. - pillows were great, loved the mini fridge and microwave but the mattresses were very lumpy and hard to get comfortable in. - great atmosphere with water features, pool, workout room, and bar and breakfast area. - the breakfast had a large variety of items but the eggs and sausage links were terrible, obviously just microwave food. Fresh fruit, waffles, and oatmeal also available. - homeless person wondered into the lobby causing a scene but the staff handled it well and kindly. - overall not great but not terrible and glad to have a place to sleep.
Service was top notch! Amenities are excellent. I was pretty impressed. Clean rooms. Great pool and spa. Even a full bar and restaurant. Limited menu but fair prices. I didn't try the food from bar. The breakfast was really good though. They really take great care of guest.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room was spacious. I typically stay in this location. I will keep coming back. Lastly, the hot breakfast was worth the value. The had bacon, eggs, sausage and other items. There is lots of of restaurants near by as wel.
The hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfast was really good and fulfilling. Kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I will definitely be staying at this hotel when I come back.
Great place ! Beautiful and clean . Great breakfast choices, amazing fast, especially the older gentlemen. Doing the breakfast. Nice pool and hot tub! Would definitely return! Location was great lots of places to eat ! Room was spacious and served our purpose!!
The room was very clean, bed and pillows were comfortable and staff was super friendly! We have stayed here before and are always satisfied with our stay. We asked if we could have a late check out due to our schedule and they were very accommodating.
The staff was very helpful and kind. The pool was clean and having a bar on site was an unexpected treat. The room was clean. The only negative was that the hide a bed was very uncomfortable. But to be fair I have yet to find a hotel that has a comfortable hide a bed.
Good room just not sure if sheets were clean to be honest. Maybe it was the pillows other than that it was good. The bathroom was clean with towels and immensitys. The mattresses were a little caved in so maybe they need to be replaced not sure how old they were but it seemed like they had been worn in pretty good.
Traveling for business and this hotel was renovated from a Choice Hotel to a Best Western branded hotel. Looks a bit more luxurious than my last stay so that's a plus. Just be prepared for a firm bed. Had an aching back leaving for my job site. Breakfast was good but a bit on the salty side. Overall good stay, not too much to complain about.
I enjoyed this hotel because it allowed our dogs to travel with us. All the workers were extremely nice & welcomed our dogs with open hands. We checked in pretty late and they were so excited to help us. I enjoyed this trip
The staff was amazing. Our first room and bed was not as sanitary as it should have been. The sheets looked like they had not been change, stains and ruppled! Staff immediately offered to change rooms a few doors down and that room was lovely, clean bed really nice overall.
The staff were lovely, the price was fair for the amenities you provide, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, it was close to downtown + indoor pool + hot tub = fun sisters weekend indeed! The food was good, although I would have chosen fruit and a bagel and neither were provided- might be cool to add.
We picked BW for a couple reasons; used to live in Keizer and BW emailed a promotional offer. I am also a BW member. The promo offer was a non refundable or changeable. However the email failed to say that. BW Keizer, after several calls was very helpful and changed what was necessary and refunded us one night. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Down side was being handicapped we could not get breakfast. Standing in a lone line was not an option. No fault of anyone, the Hotel was booked full.
We recently stayed 4 nights at this hotel that we mostly chose because of great reviews on TripAdvisor. We are happy to report those reviews are accurate and had an excellent stay. The hotel is in excellent condition, and we got really good service from both reception and the breakfast attendant. The included breakfast had lots of thoughtful extras that we don't commonly see at other hotels such as salsa, cheese and hot sauce for the scrambled eggs; chocolate chips, walnuts and peanut butter for the waffles and at least 6 toppings for the oatmeal. Our room was spacious and had plenty of both electrical and USB outlets for charging devices. The only negative to our room (318) was a sulfur odor each time we turned on the water in the sink. The water served at the hotel breakfast didn't have that smell, and the desk clerk seemed surprised when we mentioned it.
We spent a week at the hotel because we were attending activities in Oregon. The hotel staff was always pleasant and the amenities were good. There is a bar/lounge we spent time at some evenings evenings that gave us a chance to talk with other guests.
From the moment we checked in to when we left, we received first rate service. The room was clean and inviting, comfortable and tastefully decorated, Our stay was only for the one night but it was so relaxing after a long day of driving. We planned to stay there again on our way back. We will definitely stay here in the future. I can't say enough good things about everyone of the staff we came into contact with.
My trip was very enjoyable. I have stayed here a few times and the staff remembered my name very impressing. She put me on the 4th floor so I would have a quite room because she remembered I stay their on Business. I would and do recommend this Hotel .
Nice Staff, Clean hotel, Great breakfast. Had a few housekeeping issues. We have a pet, went into room and stepped on a wet pee spot on the floor. Front desk gave us a new room right away but 2nd room had hair in the shower and faulty faucet but rest of the room was clean.
BW at Keizer is a very clean hotel with helpful, friendly Staff and checking in is quick same as checking out. Area have lots of parking spaces and we feel safe and secured with our cars park outside. Very relaxing environment with fresh air in the area. We enjoyed our stay and definitely will come back again into this Hotel.
Great place for to stay will stay here again. Staff was great and the rooms clean. Showers could have more pressure. But very good location close to everything. The breakfast was ok not great but definitely not bad. The bar was a nice place to get a drink and relax in the evening. Thank you for a great vacation.
This was a very good hotel, greeted by a bubbly lady on reception. All reception staff greeted you when you left or entered. Hotel appears to have had a complete refurbishment and has been done well. Room very comfortable, bed comfortable. Big room. Double walk in shower. Separate sink area. Quiet in the hotel. Lots of parking. Good breakfast area with good choice and restocked regularly. Hotel was clean, would stay here again. Short drive to restaurants and shops at Keizer Station. 2 miles to the I5 so a good location.
In town for a family event. Our room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. Customer service was exceptional! Mandy made sure that all of our needs were met. Our kids enjoyed the pool. We will definitely be back!
Stayed here while visiting my father. It's a clean nice place with friendly staff. I would stay here again and recommend it. They have completmentry laundry soap but you will need quarters to use the washer/dryer.
I highly recommend this hotel. It felt safe and it was clean and well-equipped. Walk-in shower was wonderful. The bed and linens were very comfortable, and I slept really well. The location was perfect, and Keizer / Salem were easily navigated from the hotel.
We enjoyed our roomy double queen room. It had lots of surface area to put our suitcases to unpack and to lay out items. The staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was good- scrambled eggs, toast, oatmeal, waffles, etc. A good location for us as well.
Property was very clean, staff was super friendly. Was in a great location for food and shopping everything was close. Bed was comfortable, neighborhood felt safe. Would stay there on my next visit to Salem.
This property is very convenient for our needs and we use it whenever we travel to this area. It is comfortable and clean. Maintenance could be improved and the parking is tight. It's the best value in the area. We will continue to make this our choice for lodging.
I had a conference to attend in the Salem area. This hotel was perfectly situated and was an easy 10-12 minute drive from downtown for other restaurant choices and vibes in the evenings. There is a bar within the hotel which was staffed at least Friday night and was a nice convenient addition to our stay.
Staff accommodated our request for a little early check in & that was very appreciated! Room was a great size for two queen beds. Plenty roomy to move around, appreciated the outlets on nightstands. Lighting was very sufficient. Staff that checked us in & out was pleasant. Clean room & bathroom, entry & breakfast area.
First time at a Best Western Premiere. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel and room were lovely. The glass shower doors and great shower head, comfortable beds and bedding made you feel like you were home. Breakfast was excellent with lots of hot and cold choices and pleasant staff with real dishes and cutlery. Very relaxing stay!
This was the first new BW we have stayed in. The place was beautiful. The staff and service were excellent. We are Marriott Titanium members. This property exceeded many Marriott properties we have stayed it. It even offered a bar service and light dinner option. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to the Salem area.
I wanted to like this hotel better. First off, the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, though the oatmeal wasn't warm enough to melt the cube of butter I put on it. The hotel has a very modern decor with little warmth. the room was clean..The bed and pillows seemed hard, as well as the room furniture. Neighborhood had lots of good restaurant options, and was quiet and seemed safe.
This is my first bad review of a hotel in my 51 years. I normally leave positive reviews, or try to find positive things but in this review all I can truly say is skip Keizer and go to Salem. Nice bed, nice room and televisions (advertised as smart tv but nowhere to connect to netflix etc, so bring your Roku or Firestick) and other than the shaking of our room (more on this later) it wasn't bad. Then, after a meeting the next morning we took our 2 year old grandson, who was staying with his parents in the room adjacent to us, swimming at the indoor pool. After swimming awhile we went out to a patio area to dry in the sun, bringing the room key in case the door would lock behind us. Unfortunately after a few minutes we realized that the door did lock behind us but needed an actual mechanical key to open. No one noticed us out there even though we'd wave and try to get someone's attention if they came to restock the towels. The cement was so hot on our feet that it burned. My husband (also 51) at one point scaled the fencing to try to find a piece to climb over and get help. Our children happened to drive by, first car we saw, and they noticed us in that enclosed area. We waived at them to stop and then my husband made his way around a man made pond to try to get our key card to them to come rescue us. Thankfully they got in and let us out of there. By the time I get to my room we find a missed call saying there's been an emergency and we have to return home. I let the front desk know of this and the fiasco at the pool. He simply nods, he's been smug the whole visit, and when I ask can we get a refund or partial refund as the housekeeper is up there cleaning our room now and he can rent it out if he'd like, he says no because it's after 3 pm. It was almost 4. We packed everything as fast as possible just tossing everything in our bag in a hurry and left for our drive home. We were due to leave the next day as we'd just attended a meeting that was already stressful, then took baby to the pool to enjoy, and were going to spend rest of the evening relaxing till we went home next day. I mentioned the shaking room: It does feel as if you're in California during an earthquake, your whole room shakes and this was also in our son and daughter in laws room. It was very strange as you walk and your room is shaking or you wake up to your bed vibrating. I'm sure we were quite entertaining as we sat on our blue couch vibrating up and down during a zoom meeting as well.
For sure not the Best "Best Western" I have stayed at. Uncomfortable beds with small stuffy rooms, and a brick wall 7 feet from the window for the view! Found discarded old dirty pillowcase next to dresser I would never stay here again! All this on a weekday for over $200!
The rooms are clean and comfortable. Make you ask for a room with an ADA height toilet or you will get a kids toilet. Breakfast is nothing fancy but very good and they have bacon every morning. The king size bed was very comfortable. The location was great for us as there is a decent Tex/Amex restaurant about a half block away that is next door to a sports bar.
It is a fairly new hotel. I have stayed at this hotel in 4 occasions and the staff have always been very helpful, attentive, and kind. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The beds are comfortable and there is literally no noise. The breakfast has a variety and it's tasty. The pool is now open, and the gym is very clean. The hotel has a very clean laundromat that can be used for less than $5. The gym has enough equipment to have a quick workout. The hotel is located across from fast food restaurants, dollar tree, and other small stores. Worth the money. Definitely staying again in the near future.
I will definitely stay at this hotel if I'm in town again. Quiet, good amenities, and friendly staff. Easy access to Salem and shopping. I enjoyed the breakfast choices and appreciated their attempt to limit the use of plastic, one use dishes.
This hotel had great customer service and was very clean! The only issue I ran across were ants when I made it and throughout the stay; however, I went bought some spray and removed them but they came back before we checked out!
The hotel website offers "Military Discount" but as a veteran, when you book it and get there and show your credentials, they do not give the discount. The Sales Manager is a bully and very rude. I suggest military veterans stay somewhere else. I've stayed a several Best Western's in Oregon and Washinton State and they are veteran friendly.
I am a white passing Latinx trans man and my wife is a cis Latinx woman. The man checking my wife and I in made us so uncomfortable with his intrusive and transphobic comments and questions. My wife and I were stared at and heavily WATCHED by the staff anytime we entered or exited the lobby but were never approached or spoken to. Only glowered at. Not even a simple silent smile. We started taking the stairs instead of the elevator because of how unwelcome we were made to feel to avoid staff interactions. We felt so uncomfortable we never went down to breakfast and checked out early. The woman who checked us out never asked us about our stay just took our keys and seemed to be happy we were leaving.
BEWARE! I am retired military and booked this hotel at the government/military rate. At the timed I booked, the rate was available to retired military and I can document that. The Sales Manager e-mailed me and said I wasn't on official business so didn't qualify for the military rate so it would be $99 more per night. He would not honor the original rate I qualified for. I have no idea how good or bad this hotel is but beware ... they might raise your rate if they can get more money for your room when it gets closer to your travel date.
The internet was really slow and unstable. I stayed here during a work trip and needed to work from the hotel for a few hours. I was not able to. The internet was way too slow and not stable enough to allow me to work. I had to go somewhere else to work.
Like new hotel and very comfortable!! Close to everything! Nice Breakfast too. Bed was nice and comfy! Couch was just ok and refrigerator was in room. Highly recommend this place to everyone. Has indoor pool too
BW Keizer Hotel was everything I could ask. Modern updated guest rooms, wonderful Shower with lots of hot water. Wonderful staff, morning breakfast, insulation in guest areas was very quiet, very pleasant stay. Problem was only ONE Electric Vehicle charging unit which was constantly busy. Will stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay at this location for five days. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean - loved the shower and the temperature of the room was easy to regulate. Good location to get around the city.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly. I would rate slightly higher if the hotel would place non smoking signs and enforce them at the hotel exits. Our room was nicely equipped and spacious. Overall a nice stay and I would recommend this hotel.
I've stayed @ many BW's across this country and this by far beats them all. The motel is clean, well decorated, and the staff are top notch. I was thoroughly impressed and found the value above anything i been in for the past 15 years.
Very nice room and good value for the money. Breakfast was the best I've ever experienced in this price range. The only minor complaint was that some guests tracked in mud in stair wells and housekeeping never noticed. Given the world situation and staffing challenges, this was quite acceptable. Thank you for making my stay for a wedding so enjoyable. We will return.
We spent 4 nights here with a newborn and a dog. Pet friendly and the other dogs that did stay there were not heard which was nice. The kitchenette was stocked and ready for use. It is really helpful if you can only eat certain foods. The staff were friendly, helpful, courteous and kind. I really appreciated their help. The hotel itself was well kept. The breakfast provided was good, though the scrambled eggs were lacking and what me and co-workers call rubber eggs, though with hot sauce and salt/pepper, it is edible, everything else was delicious. They had fresh fruit and if you wanted waffles, they had a waffle maker and batter. They do have what appears to be a stocked bar for alcohol (I don't drink). They have a small (emphasis on small) business center and an open work-out area, I would not call it a gym by any standard. They do have a laundry and dryer (singular), it at the time of writing this review (23Apr'22) was a 1USD to wash and 1 USD to dry, both USD in quarters. It was nice, they were not particularly busy so I could get clothes in and out. Its location is great, near shopping centers for food and restaurants for some take-out or eat-ins. It is also just across the street from a gas station. The parking lots is big, and well-lit.
Major ant infestation in our room. Saw one or 2 the first night then woke to a bed and counter full final day. When we told the front desk they just said "ew gross!" Rooms are great size for the price. Breakfast is decent at best. By 7am out off a lot and slow to replenish.
We enjoyed our 3-night stay at this newer hotel. The room was clean and well maintained, the lounge has a fully-stocked bar, the hot breakfast was well-stocked and included eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, assorted fresh fruit and waffles. My husband raved about the coffee. It was conveniently located for us with plenty of parking and friendly staff -- we would stay again.
I booked here on a free night. Was charged extra points. Called customer care. Still have not received the points. And this is my experience two months ago. I thought I would give it a shot again. Once again I was let down when I booked on points my credit card was charged. Also didn't feel very welcome there. Every time I stay here something goes wrong. And it breaks my heart.
It's a great place the city is even better, I was only there for one night but it was a great stay. It's right around the corner from Keizer station all in all great place great value. The front desk crew is amazing most thanks to them
Room not presented as promised and confirmed via phone and at front desk. Difficulty getting service to accomodate enough beds for # of guest in party. Elevator not working. Desk Clerk-very helpful in trying to remedy situation. Manager NOT so much
Great Customer Service, Friendly and very accommodating with any of the questions i had. I booked for a family trip for 7 people including a toddler through Priceline and all was set. Rooms were comfy and clean. Breakfast had a great selection. Definitely would stay here again.
I had a great time there place is nice and quiet. Friendly employees great service. I would strongly go back if I have another trip there. They have a bar that made us not go around and they have good breakfast too.
The beds were pretty uncomfortable and the sink water smells like sewage. Luckily we only needed the room to sleep in and had stuff to do during the day. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was perfect for our children.
I stopped for an overnight before flying out the next day after a week on the coast. The hotel is renovated, and the rooms are comforable. This may seem silly to add, but the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The staff were amazing. I loved that they had a lounge/bar for evening cocktails. The location is close to PDX which makes the hotel a nice little stop before flying.
It was very welcoming. They gave you a free drink every night you stayed. They had fresh coffee and fresh water with oranges and raspberries soaking in the water in the lobby. They served dinner every night.
Best Western Premium experience is going to be my go-to plan from here on! This was my first such stay and I wish I could find more on I-5 route from Canada to Palm Springs, California. Maybe I'll go off route for this kind of hotel!
I agree with other reviews. Lovely decor and friendly staff. Riplee was very welcoming!! My only disappointment was that for a "level up" hotel,on BW's menu, the fridge was so small and had no freezer so our travel food and ice bags could not stay cold enough or be refrozen. Breakfast was the usual buffet. Better than the questionable grab and go bags still at other locations. Glad we had a safe, warm place to stay in the uncertain weather!
We were treated so well and the rooms were spotless! We had our pitbull with us and they were all so affectionate and just made us feel very welcome. We had just checked out of a hotel on Mission Street because of how dirty and un hospitable the staff was and then booked with Best Western Premier. I am so thankful we did! Beautiful, cozy and CLEAN rooms and really sweet staff that has now made this hotel our new favorite!
We have tried just about every chain hotel between Woodburn & Salem and this one is probably going to become our go to one ! We visit family in the area a few times a year and usually stay in Salem or Woodburn as we have family in each location (along with the SE of Portland). We don't like staying in Portland due to the horrible traffic they seem to always be experiencing ! So, this B W has very nice size rooms/suites with a divider between the sitting area and bed, each with an approx 50" TV. There is a coffee station & wet bar with fridge, a sofa and a desk. Another biggie is they are pet friendly although they do charge you an extra $15/nite for your furry friend. Breakfast is not bad although on Thanksgiving AM it was very sparse due to the obnoxious 12yr olds (with their parents not controlling them) taking more than their fair share and not even eating 1/2 of it ! - Not the hotel's fault but if they would have shamed the little brats and their parents I would have cheered ! Would recommend and stay again.
Anyone who looks at my other reviews will notice that I call it how I see and I don't sugar coat anything. That said, I had to stay at this hotel for over a week while in town assisting a family member who came down with leukemia. This location was beyond outstanding. The cleanliness, the bed was comfortable and considering I have back issues, that is a huge issue I have to look at it. Above all of that, the staff were absolutely outstanding. They were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to interact with. I think there is only one thing that I can honestly ding them on is that due to my own medical issues, I always reserve a ADA room. What I don't understand is that they have the bed sit so low to the ground, even lower than the height of someone who would be sitting in a wheelchair. Basically when you sit on the edge of the bed, your butt will sit lower that your knees are and for someone who has a knee disability, it makes getting up a little on the difficult side. That said, I still think this hotel and their staff were great and I will be making several more trips there to assist my family in the coming months and it will be the first place I call after I book my flight.
Everything about my stay in this hotel was Premier! All the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel inside and out was very clean and beautiful. I will defiantly stay here again when in the Salem/Keizer area.
