Front desk staff was amazing!! Very accommodating. Rooms are clean. Nice size. Complimentary water. Pool area is clean. My only complaint is having to walk to Denny's for breakfast. The staff there is rude their prices are ridiculous. The voucher you get doesn't even begin to cover anything.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on our way home from San Francisco on December 29, 2024. We were road weary and tired so we were ready for a place to land for a good nights rest. Checking in, we were greeted with a very friendly smile and reception. We were informed that 2 bottles of water were in the fridge for us, he handed us a couple cookies plus he also let us know that breakfast was served at Denny's restaurant right next door all inclusive! I just have to say that after the discourse with this young man, my hubby and I were very happy that we chose BW Plus Mill Creek Inn in Salem Oregon yesterday. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

Early December stay for family emergency. Staff was very accommodating for extending additional days. Rooms are very clean and mechanically well maintained. Steven and Dorian provided pleasant and efficient check in service and greeted us each night on our return to the hotel.

From the moment we walked in and were greeted by Misty our stay was great. She was so sweet and accommodating. Traveling with kiddos can be stressful. She greeted my kids and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and fun experience. She recommended other BW accommodations in other cities we mentioned we travel too. The room was comfortable and the pool was great.

The hotel is decorated beautifully for Christmas! The staff is very friendly and the hotel is super nice, spacious, and well cleaned. They treat all guest kindly and I have no complaints, you even get a Dennys food voucher to use and free cookies!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Misty, who had the best customer series I have ever experienced. Not only did she welcome us into this beautiful hotel but she made my daughter feel more like a princess than anyone did at Disney land that we are just coming from! This was just supposed to be somewhere we stopped on the way home but the amenities of this hotel make my whole family want to make this a regular place to visit! Misty has gone above and beyond making us feel at home during our stay ensuring we have anything we need. This spectacular woman has restored my faith that the hospitality business is still alive and well.

First off the customer service from Misty far exceeds any past experience's with other hotels. She is amazing! The room is so clean, love the amenities, indoor pool, microwave and fridge, free parking and right off the highway!! Misty deserves my gratitude for being so accommodating and the cookies were delicious!! Couldn't have asked for more after driving 16 hours and wanting a safe place to rest :)

The front desk is the friendliest ever, especially Misty, who remembers us every time we stay. Clean, inviting, comfortable rooms, great holiday decorations. Who could ask for more? Not us, that's for sure! Did I mention their location? It's so handy to get back to Interstate 5, yet close to state offices and restaurants.

Shout out to Misty at the front desk. I found myself in a pickle having made reservations for later in the week for a work trip. Unfortunate events came about, and I needed to cancel. Online, my reservation stated it was non-refundable, and I had missed my cancellation window. To be courteous, I wanted to let the hotel know that I would not be there at all. Misty was able to cancel it for me! I have stayed at Mill Creek Inn several times for work. The location is great for those that need to get to downtown state offices, and it is SOOO easy to find. My rooms have always been clean and comfortable. I can speak for myself and my work peers, this is our go-to hotel. Thank you, Mill Creek Inn employees!

This was neither a business nor pleasure trip having arrived in town to pick up our car that had been in an accident 9 weeks earlier on the Oregon Coast but turned out to be a fantastic experience (the one night, not the accident)!!! The facilities were new, clean, and quiet with great amenities. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional.

Excellent customer service by Steven, he went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Bedding was very soft and comforting. We were very happy that the hot tub was open until 11pm since we arrived so late. Rooms very clean. I would definitely stay here again!

I stay at this motel approximately 1 week a month for work. I stay here because it's a great motel with very friendly staff. The location is centrally located and it's in a very safe area. I have a work vehicle with work equipment in my vehicle and I have never had any problems with theft or damage at this location. The rooms are clean, roomy and it's pet friendly in specially reserved rooms. It's hard to find a hotel that services your room every day but this one does without asking. There is a clean pool area for families, hot tub, exercise room and a 24 hour coffee bar.

Beautiful hotel and rooms were very nice. With supplied vouchers, paid less than $10 for breakfast for 3. Can't beat that. Manager was extremely polite and gave us advice on surroundings. Situated in a very easily accessible area and close to things to do

Friendly, helpful staff. All the staff were great! Clean rooms and great pillows. Had a wonderful stay. They also have a restaurant (Denny's) in the same parking lot which was convenient. Enjoyed the princess stairwell. Staff even took a picture for us.

Our last trip to this hotel was in 2019 so it had been 5 years. We were not disappointed. Still excellent service with friendly professional and accommodating staff. This Best Western offers so many extra little things that makes you want to not only come back but also refer it to friends. i.e. cookies when you arrive, complimentary bottles of water in your room, make up mirror. They also have a handout of recommended restaurants close by.

Nice property. Great ADA room—large and comfortable. Super staff. The not-working bathroom power plugs were discovered at an inopportune time for getting them fixed in a timely manner, but we managed using other plugs for hair drying, charging devices, etc. great coffee making machine in the office area makes mochas, lattes, etc. breakfast chit for Dennys across the way is only good until 10, and since we are late sleepers, that perk was worthless to us.

Sandy was the most amazing front desk host! She was very welcoming, positive, funny, and all around amazing! She deserves to be employee of the month! And a big raise on top of that. If we ever come back we will ask for Sandy. Also they have a moss wall that is real. Really cool.

It was a great room, real clean and modern. Amenities were good - great coffee drinks in the lobby, including but not limited to latte s and espresso- a surprise after getting off the road. I would refer this place to anyone. The distance from a pleasant restaurant was an added bonus

Female evening check in staff were friendly and helpful. They recommended places close to where I was seeing the concert to eat. Upon arriving back they asked about my dinner and the concert. Would love to have this kind of experience at every hotel I visit.

The hospitality here is top notch! Not to mention super comfortable beds, water in fridge waiting for u, great pillows, free Dennys breakfast, great pool, sauna, hot tub, gym…. The list goes on! This management team has thought of everything. I can see why when we arrived the parking lot was packed! Loved our stay.

Top notch service! The gal at the front desk that I unfortunately did not get her name was so kind! To the gal with dark hair and glasses, thank you for the hospitality and the explanation of all the wonderful amenities. The room was clean and well stocked, the espresso coffee machine was incredible, big pool and great fitness area! Loved the fall decorations as well.

Warmly greeted by staff when we arrived, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable, the pool was clean and tons of fun for the group. Was a great stay for a soccer weekend with family and teammates. Breakfast at Denny's was a nice change up from continental breakfast.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. There was a mix up with my reservation and the front desk manager, made the changes I needed with a smile. Property was clean and cozy. Nice pool for our soccer players. The Dennys breakfast was a nice treat.

Very clean and the staff was very nice and quick to help when I had questions. I also liked the Denny's breakfast that is included! Instead of a standard hotel breakfast, you get a voucher for Denny's plus 10% off any thing else. Great job Best Western!

The front desk staff is extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. The rooms are spacious, well thought out and clean. Beds are comfortable and they give you two different types of pillows. I prefer a softer pillow vs a firmer one, and they had one of each.

Misty is phenomenal and so is all of the staff. We stay here quite a bit for work. This Best Western is a great spot to stay! Plus instead of regular continental breakfast they hook you up with a Denny's Voucher for the Dennys in the parking lot!! 10/10

The staff was very friendly, professional, and generally helpful. The room was clean and quiet. I really appreciated the voucher at the restaurant next door for breakfast. I look forward to my next stay at this hotel, highly recommended. Jamarius was especially helpful during my stay.

My top three areas of criteria for a great hotel are: 1. Must have a comfortable bed. 2. Must have a shower head that gets you clean and you have a strong water flow. 3. Must be quiet! and dark. 4. I bring my own pillow but the pillows at this hotel were super comfy!

The Staff of Misty, Sandy, Dylan, Dorian, Holland and James were fantastic, and the amenities were perfect for our stay. The complimentary breakfasts at Denny's was a great solution and the location was very convenient. We will certainly recommend this location to Family and Friends.

What a lovely surprise! We usually stay at hyatts but based on previous reviews stayed here with our dogs. We had an enormous spacious room and were very comfortable during our stay. The free cookies are delicious and the breakfast at Dennys was perfect. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Highly recommend it!

This place hit all of my checkpoints: great customer service from Missy, clean spacious king room, great lighting, comfortable chair and ottoman, great shower, easy parking, very comfortable bed, even the tv and a/c were better than most (an actual easy tv guide). Having the voucher for Denny's was as added plus. We would definitely stay again when in the area!

We enjoy this hotel when staying in Salem. They offer fresh baked cookies, bottles water and they have a cappuccino machine that makes several kinds of coffee drinks. Always excellent customer service. Bed are super comfortable. They also offer a free breakfast at the Dennys right there in the same parking lot.

After a harrowing and traffic-filled 9 hours of driving, I was so cheered up by Misty at the front desk and her funny and kind manner. While I did not have a reservation, and they are close to full up, Misty found me a lovely and spacious room, along with a great chocolate chip cookie! I would stay here again, very happily. The service was superb and the room was just great.

The room was very comfortable, especially the mattress; not too hard and not too soft. Temperature was easy to control and all was clean. Best of all was the staff, especially Misty who made sure we had a sack breakfast the morning we had to leave early to catch a flight. She was willing to help with anything we needed. We'll be back!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clearly recently renovated and well taken care of. The staff was also very open to room requests and requests for a room service nightly during my tenure there. I'm glad to recommend this hotel and will plan on staying here again during my next visit.

Misty the front desk lady have an amazing personality. Great Customer service she always has a smile on her face and knows how to make people laugh. She answers all our questions. She also gave us complimentary breakfast coupon at Dennys. Housekeepers did an amazing job in keeping the rooms clean even the lobby and coffee area. Staff here are very friendly. Definitely will be coming back!

Well kept motel & guest room. Free breakfast at nearby Denny's Restaurant, $10.00 value. I like to power walk every morning. Local walking area was safe & convenient for my 2 1/2 mile exercise experience. I will go back there again if in Salem, Oregon.

The hotel is very nice and very clean! We had just had a very bad experience with a Best Western in Seaside and were a little worried about this one. But it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. The only thing I would change, if I could, would be for them to have a on site breakfast bar instead of sending us to Denny's with a voucher. The breakfast there was not very good.

Friendly, smiling staff are not easy to come by, but every single person we interacted with was stellar! It's a rarity these days and I was impressed. Every call I made prior, every in person conversation with the front desk and housekeeping you were made to feel welcomed and appreciated. Were here for the Ironman competition and this was only 3 miles from the venue. Very much appreciated that breakfasts were included at the Denny's in the same parking lot. Also, this BW has 2 private saunas with showers - an unexpected treat for relaxing. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Also, the room size was large which was helpful given all the extra travel gear we needed. They even offered rags to wipe down the bikes!! Amazing!!!

Everything about this Best Western was tops. The location was great, the rooms were fantastic, the staff was wonderful, and the amenities were first rate. The breakfast deal that the hotel has with the Denny's that shares the parking lot is awesome and should be the model for how hotels do breakfast. The front desk staff was incredible, with Holland going above and beyond to take care of guests. I will absolutely stay at this property again the next time I'm in town.

Booked a room last minute while on a road trip. Stayed a Thursday night in July. From check in to check out staff was excellent. Decor is new. Place is clean. Our room #326 was very spacious. Toiletries and towels were generous. Cookies were given at check in. I really appreciated cold complimentary waters in the room. Usually we are handed warm ones at reception. It's these little easy conveniences that make a difference. This BW should be an example for all others. Recommend.

I love the Best Western Plus Mill Creek Inn. I've stayed many times. The rooms, the entry, and the stairs and its upstairs entry are beautiful and the service is always excellent. Misty goes out of her way to help with anything we need. Highly recommended!

The property is really quiet and in an easy-to-access location, which in Salem, Oregon is not easy to achieve. The hotel is quiet and the pool/sauna facility is outstanding.

This hotel was super clean and I love that infividual toiletries were still available. The arrangement for breakfast at denny's was super and the cookies to die for. Every single staff member was extra kind and personable. I will definitely return on my next trip to Oregon.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Salem Mills location. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We were concerned at checkin because we were so close to elevators. However we could not even hear them next store to us. Over all a great , clean, enjoyable stay.

We definitely recommend this Best Western. It's right at the top of the Best Western chain!! And they offered a treat for our dog.

Was the nicest and most comfortable hotel during my trip to Oregon. Super comfy and clean room and shower. Ample parking with breakfast ticket for dennys next door. Staff was super friendly. I slept so well here after a rough stay elsewhere beforehand. Very close to Silver Falls. Would stay again if near the area. Close to downtown as well (less than 10 min drive).

This Best Western is different from the ones I had stayed at before. They do not have an on-site breakfast; instead, they provide vouchers to eat at the nearby Denny's, which didn't bother me. The location is conveniently situated off Interstate 5 and near a quiet area with car dealerships. I chose this Best Western not only for its convenience but also because my son had an appointment at the Salem Hospital, which is literally down the street. The double queen bedroom was clean and really nice. I don't know if this Best Western recently opened or remodeled, but it was a pleasant experience overall. Great hostess, quiet area, conveniently located near Interstate 5 - what more could you ask for?

It was an absolute pleasure staying here. The room, and the hotel as a whole, were clean and the employees were genuinely nice and friendly. We really appreciated the 24/7 coffee bar in the lobby. Misty at the front desk was delightful and made us feel very welcome.

Misty was amazing at check in, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's clean. The only negative was our experience at Denny's where a free breakfast was provided. The food was poorly prepared and the restaurant was dirty. Other than that, we recommend staying here.

We try to stay at Best Westerns when we can but this was our favorite one so far! I would highly recommend the BW Plus Mill Creek Inn!

This is our favorite hotel in Salem. Over the last 8 months, we have stayed at this Best Western every month. Most of the time, we are greeted by Misty. All of the staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. We have always been placed on the top floor at our request. Unlike many other hotels, this Best Western offers you breakfast vouchers at the Denny's located across the hotel parking lot which provides you with more food choices. The hotel is run efficiently and, yes, they do have cookies!

We travel from Northern WA to CA at least once a year. We usually stay here because it's easy to reach and we can't everything done and get back on the road easily in the morning. We have always been greeted by friendly staff and have been satisfied with our rooms.

Very friendly staff - especially Misty. Clean room. Great complimentary cookies at the front desk. AND a super coffee bar in the lobby that makes good latte's quickly and for no extra charge. The breakfast provided was at the Denny's restaurant across the parking lot. Vouchers worked very easily.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The young lady checking us in (Holland) was very professional, friendly and helpful covering everything we needed to know about amenities, pool, coffee bar, breakfast at the next door Denny's (included). The room was very spacious with a separate counter for coffee that included a sink and two high chairs to sit at the counter. The room also had a comfortable chair to sit in near the window.

The Mill Creek Inn has been our go to property in the Salem area for the last 14 years. It is conveniently located just off I-5 and offers easy access to the Salem area and the rural areas surrounding Salem. It has consistently provided and excellent place to stay, having professional, proficient and very personable staff. Located just next door to Denny's the breakfast voucher gives full access to the menu with your choice of menu items, with a $10.00 discount. If by chance you are an aficionado of true British style food and beer the Santiam Brewery is just a 10 minuet drive away, featuring a wonderful full bodied Extra Special Bitter on cask, and great steak and kidney pie with mushy peas and chips, Oh yeah the fish and chips are as well super. So again when in the Salen area, give the Mill Creek Inn a try, you won't regret it.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this Best Western and it is hands down the best one I have very stayed at. Clean facilities and BEST staff. The staff is friendly and super helpful. Misty and Kassi were especially helpful when we needed assistance.

I stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. The furniture is outdated but It was clean and spacious. The bathroom is large and the shower water was hot. It has a small kitchen with two mini fridges. The staff is super friendly. We enjoyed the indoor pool, jacuzzi, and gym.

Very clean and comfortable and quiet.Little extras like bottled water and good coffee and complimentary cookies made the stay even more pleasant. We didnt have time to use the pool, but others seemed to enjoy it. Wish I could have stayed more than one night.

Very responsive and helpful front desk people when I had to get off a train and find a place to stay due to a problem after day surgery on my eye. I looked frightful, had no luggage, but they were very accommodating…even had a comb and toothbrush. I was exhausted and really appreciated the clean comfortable room and fluffy pillow as I sank into the bed.I hadn't eaten for 24 hrs and was grateful the next morning for the breakfast coupon for Dennys next door. If you're in love with your pillow they will even let you buy it. I did.

This is the BEST Best Western I've ever stayed at and that's a lot of BW stays. The hotel itself is impressively clean and cared for. The front desk staff polite, welcoming, friendlyh, attentive to my requests (all fulfilled), and the rooms spotless, large, quiet. Plus the pool and hot tub (I don't usually use these at hotels). The whole feeling here is way above and beyond other very good Best Westerns. The management and staff should be told and rewarded.

We enjoyed the spacious room, very clean, very comfortable, and very nice to have access to fresh lemon-spruced water and Denny's breakfast. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. For a future stay in Salem, this is a sure bet.

For the price of this hotel it's a great deal and worth it. My mom stayed here while waiting for me and my son to land in Portland but ended up getting delayed another day so she got the room to herself lol. She enjoyed the pool and hot tub said they were nice and clean and perfect temp. The rooms were nice as well and the front counter gal named Misty was very sweet and helpful and gave her a room close to her handicap parking and the pool. In the morning she got breakfast from dennys for free and they even let her bring us some breakfast too even though they didn't have to. Overall great place to stay and highly recommend it.

I would give 2.5 stars, actually. The hotel itself isn't horrible. It was very inviting when you walk in. The lady who checked us in was pleasant. I was surprised by the breakfast offering as it isn't your typical hotel breakfast-included deal. It is Denny's located across the parking lot. They give you a voucher to use. When she was explaining it to us, she sounded very discouraging explaining how many people were staying with them and gave a "good luck" vibe as she spoke. It would have been nicer, had we had more time in the morning but we enjoyed our breakfast. It was a tad stressful having to have table service after waiting for a table, that is. We were needing to be at the event we came for but it worked out okay. The room was nice and beds comfortable. It was pretty noisy but may have been because we stayed on the first floor. What knocked off some stars was our experience with the hot tub (and surrounding area). We spent all day at an event and our bodies were tired. We were looking forward to soaking in the hot tub. When we arrived to the pool area, a young boy was having a coughing fit. It sounded as if he probably inhaled some water or something. Anyway, the boy and his family were on there way out leaving just our family there. My son and husband went in the hot tub first. My son was not in there long before he started having a coughing fit. My husband came out saying there was something wrong as his eyes were burning. They swam in the pool and I, myself, did not attempt the hot tub. I am an asthmatic and my chest was feeling tight just sitting across the way.. After a while some soccer teens came in. One went in the hot tub but the same thing happened. He started coughing and came out and left. My husband told the worker that was in there and he put up a sign closing the hot tub. To leave the pool you have to pass the hot tub. Our nose and eyes stung and burned and I began to wheeze. It was that strong! Very abnormal strong chemical smell. Almost like amonia. Anyhow, my husband mentioned it to the front desk. They shrugged and seemed disinterest. My husband told them the maintenance person closed the hot tub and asked if they received any complaints. He just said "no". He lacked concern and didn't offer a "Thank you for letting us know. I will let the management know to ensure safety to our guests" or something along those lines showing care and concern. That would have gone far with me. Anyway, my son coughed for the next 45 minutes or so. I continued to wheeze and cough for a bit, though I did not need to use my inhaler. We were hoping to end our long day feeling relaxed and restful. So needless to say, we were very disappointed. We could have stayed down the street where our teenager was staying with her team and enjoyed ourselves much more but choose BW because of their rewards program. We almost always have great service and experiences when we stay at a Best Western but this was not one of them, unfortunately.

Great breakfasts at nearby Denny's with a meal voucher they provided and discounts of our other meals there. The hotel was beautiful and the room was large. The saunas were an added bonus I wasn't expecting.

I booked the wrong room. It was quickly apparent that I needed an ADA room. The staff moved us to an ADA room which was perfect and easily accommodated my wheelchai. The staff was friendly and very helpful

Location close to both freeway and town center. Breakfast at Dennys next door, very nice staff. Cookies on registering were a nice touch. Ask for the lemon.Roomwith small fridge and microwave. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Didn't hear any noise during the night. A very pleasant stay

Great place to stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly and room was great. One of the Best BW we have stayed at this year.Would highly recommend this BW for a overnight stay or longer. Breakfast was at next door Dennys and it was fine also.

I've stayed there many times it's always a nice place to stay always great service and the clean rooms the Denny's next door is pretty cool has a sports bar and Oregon lottery games makes it nice to pass the time

This hotel is literally right off the main freeway .. I5 .. through Oregon. We had to check in a few hours early because of airport arrivals. No issue, and no extra charge. Breakfast was supplied by a restaurant voucher for Dennys Restaurant right next door. Clean, everything in the room available and worked. Free coffee alcove available outside the room if you share with a later sleeper.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Mill Creek in Salem Oregon. The front desk clerk named Jen was very helpful and Courteous. Our room was super clean and comfortable we only stay Best Western. We came to visit our daughter that is going to college near by and really enjoyed our stay. This place is worth the stay.

Beautiful hotel!! Friendly staff friendly desk help! Room was the best place we've ever been. Needed some directions desk help look on computer explained the words and printed map. Big, comfortable room. Great bed . If we ever come back this way will stay again.

Our room was exceptionally clean and had great amenities the pool hot tub kiddie pool and sauna are very nicely maintained the staff was very kind of on checking in and I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed one night at this hotel while on a road trip with family. There were 3 of us so we had a suite with 2 Queen beds and a pull out. I pulled the short straw for the pull out but it was surprisingly comfortable considering the place we had stayed the night before had a horrible pull out. Liked being able to go to Denny's for the breakfast and the room was extremely spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel with pretty landscaping. Cute seasonal decor. Exceptional front desk staff--professional, efficient, and friendly. Very clean, comfortable room. Love the coffee station in the lobby. Very dog friendly. We didn't love the breakfast vouchers for Dennys, the food is not great and the restaurant is dirty. Other than that everything was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay.

For being a hotel that excepts pets, my room was very clean. Normally I wouldn't walk around with out shoes, here the carpet was so clean I felt comfortable to be bare footed. I was able to leave my dog in the room while my boyfriend and I were in the sauna, hot tub or having breakfast at Denny's on the other side of the parking lot. I will definitely stay at Best Western Plus locations.

The hotel was nice but the breakfast that was included was Danny's and had very limited option as part of the hotel service. We Waited for over an hour to be seated and another hour for cold food to be deliveredto the table. This is unacceptable service. Extremely dissatisfied.

This hotel is so nice ! This was our second visit here and we loved the room we were assigned on third floor, with a little bar and bar stools, fridge and keurig. The little fitness center is perfect for a short stay and the pool, spa and sauna looked good too. Dennys is adjacent and it was reasonable price and hotel offered free breakfast (or 10 bucks off breakfast of your choice). We sat in lounge and played keno-fun! We will definitely stay here again.

Would be nice for them to make is easier to use the gift car they promoted at the end they didn't put it on my bill so ya not going back unless they put both of the 50$ gift card on there other then that it was fine

We stopped here on our way back from Sunriver so we could spend a day at the Enchanted Forest in Salem. This hotel was great. Perfect pool for our kids - awesome that they have a baby wading pool in addition to regular pool and hot tub. We stayed in a one room suite which allowed our kids to have a separate space. The hotel staff was beyond kind and helpful. And breakfast at Dennys (vouchers of $10 per person included) was great. Way better than the usually breakfasts included at a hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel itself was really nice. But our vehicle was broken into and robbed in the parking lot on our first night. They stole cash and multiple items. It was well lit, right on the road, right out front, and our vehicle was of course locked with the windows up. We reported it to the hotel staff right away. The front desk gal was super nice and said the manager could look at the camera footage, since a camera was looking down on our vehicle. He wasn't there when it happened but he was there when we were checking out, and he didn't say anything to us about it. We thought maybe we'd get a free night or something, but they didn't do anything to try to make our hard weekend and easier. Seems like they'd do something since it happened on their property.

We love staying here while visiting the enchanted forest, the kids love to swim and it's nice getting breakfast vouchers for Dennys too! Nice clean spacious rooms ,we'll definitely be back! Even our out of town family was impressed with the hotel

I travelled for work, the room was clean, service was friendly (thank you, Misty!), and evenings were quiet. I would definitely stay here again if I were required to travel for work again. Only complaint is that location doesn't have much within walking distance, just a Denny's. It is freeway close, though.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus Mill Creek Inn for 5 days in August 2023. The room was clean and very well taken care of with everything in good working order. The hotel was also well cleaned and maintained inside and out, including the common areas. The staff were all nice, polite and helpful. The breakfast coupon for Denny's worked out well because the food and service were both great. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Misty and Martell couldn't have been better hosts. Very friendly, helpful, professional and just good folks. From the time we booked the room to our departure our experience was more than expected. We were very surprised to see our room based on the rate we paid. The room was much larger than a normal hotel room, is very well maintained and was very clean. It is clear all of the employees take great pride in their jobs from the hosts at the front desk to the maintenance and house keeping staff. Thank you!

Wonderful staff, they made sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Big thank you to Misty for engaging with our 11 year old granddaughter and maybe spoiling her just a little.

Not our favorite BW, not family friendly… went w kids. Breakfast at Denny's by voucher; inadequate on-site gathering space. Staff not allowing conference room use for large parties. Older business oriented property w dark interior; could use upgrading. Good lobby coffee service area. Newer, family friendly properties are around the corner which include on site hot breakfast service.

There's a reason why they call it the best Western because they are the best. The service was outstanding. Everybody was polite. I couldn't ask for a better experience. We were served cookies when we arrived

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds, great price, great amenities, what more can I say! Excellent place to stay! Vouchers were given for breakfast at the nearby Denny's, and the food was excellent.

The front desk shift supervisor Misty is the best! I have been traveling to Salem once every week for 8 weeks and she is always very welcoming/professional when I arrive after a long trip. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Perfect stop for those who are traveling for business, solo or with a small family.

Stayed here for a baseball tournament for the last game of my sons team. Had a pool party going away planned for the kids. When coaches ordered pizza we were told we could not eat at the pool. Ok, fine- said we could eat them on the patio... They said no food there either. Asked if we could use a banquet room and was told no, they were being used even though they were all dark. So we decided to direct the driver to deliver food to a grassy area across the street. Pizza never even came in the building. We then found ourselves being filmed by crew and they shut the pool down for the WHOLE HOTEL. It was at this point we tried to resolve our issue and ask what the problem was. Nobody could give us a good answer and manager would not answer his phone. All we were told is we will have to call on Monday to resolve the problem. This is a big reason we all chose this hotel was because of the pool. Now we have 12 crying kids (not to mention the siblings). Was told we all need to go to our room. Well trying to sequester 20 ish kids to a couple room in my opinion caused much more distress to the rest of the hotel. It was mad chaos. It was a night in my life I can not get back and a memory they missed out on. Not to mention for a group rate this hotel was WAY overpriced, Rooms are very dated and my feet were dirty from just walking on the carpet. The one down the street is much nicer for a better rate, although next time I'll stick with other brands.

The staff is incompetent with zero problem solving skills. Was at this hotel for a group function. We told them we would need a conference room so we could have a small celebration. We were informed that all conference rooms were booked even though at our time of need they remained empty. No other option was given and we were told we couldn't eat outside food on the property in any public space. Since outside food was not permitted anywhere else, we walked across the street to eat and made due with using electric transformer box as a table. Staff came out side and took our picture from the pool porch. Upon our return to the hotel pool to finish our celebration, we were told that the pool was closed for the evening. When we asked why, staff was unable to give any answer except "the manager said so." We asked to speak to the manager but we're told the manager wasn't present or available. What was supposed to be a memorable weekend for friends and families was ruined by staff's inability to communicate or problem solve.

Terrible experience! Stay away from this hotel!! We stayed here with a group of other families from our son's baseball team. It was for their last tournament of the baseball season and we wanted to celebrate after they won two of their games. We ordered pizzas and were then told we couldn't have the food at the pool which we complied with. No food entered the pool area and our entire group went across the street to eat. Before we came back, the hotel staff were taking photos of our group as if we did something wrong Then when we came back to let the kids swim, the hotel staff kicked everyone out of the pool area which included other hotel guests that were not part of our group and closed and locked the pool for the rest of the night. They claimed we broke their rules which we did not do. They also had two security guards roaming the halls after this and their hotel employees followed people from our group back to their rooms. Completely unacceptable on their part and we had lots of upset kiddos who didn't get to swim and have fun with their teammates and who couldn't understand why they were being punished by the hotel staff for not doing anything wrong. Hotel staff were even laughing at upset kids. Very disappointed and would not recommend staying here at all. The hotel staff was rude, uncaring and made no attempt to resolve the issue. Management was unreachable and corporate was also no help. Unacceptable to treat paying hotel guests this way especially when we did exactly as they asked us to do. DO NOT STAY AT THIS BEST WESTERN HOTEL!!

Absolutely the worst hotel stay I've had in my life hands down. My kids fell asleep in tears on their team party night instead of having the pool party they imagined because the employee thought we brought in food and drinks. We didn't, we ordered pizza and got out of the pool and ate it across the street in a lot (not owned by best western)- and when we returned to swim, they were “closing down the pool because we don't respect their rules”. There is video, photo, & NUMEROUS witnesses to testify that not a bite of pizza was eaten, or even TAKEN onto the property. Had to cancel the 10 year old team party. Hope it was worth it, Kimberly at Front Desk! Sorry for … following the rules? P.S. for whatever reason, they employees thought it was funny that kids were crying and parents were upset. They also let us know we are no longer “allowed to talk to them” at the front desk. Awful awful awful!

The pool/spa/saunas are great and have amazing hours. Misty handled our reservation, check in, and check out-she was by far the friendliest, most helpful hostess. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! Thank you Best Western Mill Creek Inn!

Located in a quiet area, but not far from I-5, is very convenient to get into town, the State Capitol, or great dining areas. Rooms are big, beds comfortable and everything is well maintained. Ample parking lo, terrific indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Great coffee 24/7.

It was a very pleasant stay. I will stay there again when the opportunity arises. Nice room, great breakfast. Overall, a nice stay. We were very pleased with the experience. Definitely will stay there again.

The room was perfect. Everything was clean and well organized. The bathroom was spotless and the beds were amazing quality, very soft and cloud-like. We were exhausted so having the AC provided the best sleep as well. The mini kitchen came with two refrigerators which was extremely convenient. The living room was cute and very cozy. When we arrived, cookies were waiting for us on the table and they were delicious! Overall, the entire experience was perfect!

We had a quiet and peaceful stay. Our clerk that checked us in was kind, and helpful. I believe she helped us with our reservation as well. We knew we would be arriving late and were worried that our room might be given away. We called and she assured us that she would keep the room in our name. Check in was less than 5 minutes, The entire staff was sweet and wonderful.

This Best Western was very clean, quiet and well maintained. Staff were friendly and efficient. No mtce issues were encountered as can happen in hotels. Beds were comfortable and clean. The windows did open if you want some fresh air. There is the usual AC and frig noise but that seems to be the norm in most hotels. A downside was that this Best Western did not offer the usual breakfast buffet. They offer a Denny's voucher that you can only use during a limited timeframe and you must dine in the restaurant. This restriction did not work for me as I did not have time to linger over a breakfast in the morning.

This is one of the nicest Best Western Plus hotels I've stayed at. The room was large and comfortable. The swimming pool looked inviting (unfortunately I didn't find time to use it). But my favorite thing about this hotel was the "make your own latte" machine in the lobby. I normally don't get to enjoy treats like this but I ended up drinking 5 lattes during my single night stay! (And they have a decaf option for most drinks.) This hotel doesn't have a dining room to serve breakfast, instead guests are given vouchers for meals at Denny's, located at the far end of the parking lot. Breakfast was adequate but I personally prefer the variety offered at their hotels with an in-house dining room.

Great hotel, and very comfortable rooms. Loved all the usb ports around the room. Beds are comfortable. Shower head could use better water pressure. Would have loved to have used the pool, but had no time in my trip. Beautiful front lobby.

Great hotel. The rooms are fully stocked with everything you need. The front desk staff is very friendly. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning my room each day. The pool and spa is great at the end of the day. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

We stay here several times a year. We are warmly greeted and given cookies and meal vouchers Denny's breakfast at check in. They ask questions and offer information to ensure all our needs are met. They have a great pool, kids pools, hot tub, steam room, and small workout gym with up-to-date equipment and we have enjoyed using all of them. Our rooms are always clean. The beds are very comfortable. Misty and the entire team provide exceptional customer service. I truly appreciate every effort they make to ensure we have a great stay every time!

This is a great place. The staff was friendly and seemed to like their job. The breakfast at Dennys is a plus and the room was clean and smelled good. I recommend for the price that this is a must stay. Also easy with pets.

This hotel was the best I have ever stayed at. The room was a big apartment like suite that was the last one they had. We had a four year old and a three hour drive ahead of us and it was eight o clock if we could not get a room. They cut us a deal and we stayed. The pool and spa were amazing. We got free cookies at check in and bottled water in the fridge in the room. We also got 15% off that night at the Denny's across the parking lot and three vouchers for free breakfast the next morning. The coffee machine in the lobby even made cappuccinos and mochas. The people were amazing from start to finish. It was just wonderful all the way around. Nothing could have made it better.

Lovely hotel, clean, great value, super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast voucher for full breakfast at Denny's next door. We stopped in Salem to ride out an ice storm. Staff was super helpful in helping monitor road conditions. Will definitely stay here again when passing through town.

Highly impressed with this property - huge value for money and lots of amenities I didn't expect (like free breakfast, fancy hot drink machine and a sauna). Service was excellent and it was ongoing the cleanest properties I have ever stayed in.

This is a top notch Best Western. This hotel deserves it's Plus designation. When you first enter a hotel, your front desk staff have the ability to set you off on a pleasant (or not so pleasant) start. Misty is an absolute rockstar, friendly, professional, AND she made sure we had a room where we could see our pickup truck and cargo trailer. I didn't have to ask, she just made it happen for us. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Quiet is top on my list of requirements (after ample truck/trailer parking and dog friendly). We had a room on the back side of the hotel and it was very quiet for sleeping. Denny's is the breakfast option and we had dinner there as well. We had a chicken skillet dinner that was wonderful! I haven't been in a Denny's in a long time and my husband and I were both suprised how good it was. We were eying the omelette options for breakfast which we would have to pay for, but went for the free breakfast. It was basic but good. My only ask would be that they have fruit such as apples, bananas and oranges in the lobby. We'll be back to stay when we're driving by on I5 in the future. Well done BW!

I stayed at the Best Western Mill Creek in Salem two times in the past months and found it to be clean, comfortable, and the staff inviting and responsive. BW has become my hotel of choice for business travel.

Greg at the front desk was hilarious and very helpful. We had a great stay. I only wish you were cat friendly not just dog. The Halloween decor looked great I bet it looks amazing in the lobby with the fireplace for the Holidays. We will be back to swim in the pool.

The check in process was quick and easy. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was great, not just cold cereal and muffins. We will definitely stay here again!!

The beds are very comfortable. The Christmas decor was lovely. The coffee tasty... Clearly it has been renovated nicely. It was clean and served our needs nicely. It's not a 5 star hotel but for the price it was just fine.

We have stayed in many BW properties and this one tops the list. Convenient location, beautiful rooms, friendly staff and many amenities from a pool to free fruit and upscale beverages in the lobby. Breakfast is better than in many such properties as guests are provided vouchers to dine in the Denny's next door. (Okay, it's a Denny's but far superior to the typical in-house hotel/motel breakfast). Highly recommended.

Our time and experience at the Mill Creek Inn by best Western was so enjoyable in every way. We like the free breakfast coupons at Denny's with a good selection of food. This is our fourth time to stay here. All rooms and entries are kept beautifully clean. We were there during the Thanksgiving holiday and left the day after and they were beginning to put up Christmas decorations. Wonderful staff to meet every need. Coffee bar, swimming pools, saunas, and Jacuzzis. Beautiful setting. We will come again for sure!

This is a very nice hotel with clean, comfortable and well appointed rooms. The location provides easy access to the freeway and local services. However, there are issues that one might want to consider. First, the hotel's offer of a "free" breakfast uses a Denny's at the same location. The choices covered by the voucher are limited and the service and food quality at Denny's is awful! Second, if you're traveling with a pet, which they allow, be prepared to pay a pet fee for each night of your stay. I don't mind paying a pet fee, but it seems like price gouging when you pay the fee for each night, but they only clean the room after check-out, not every day. Lastly, watch your charges carefully. I was charged the pet fee multiple times during the stay. I was charged for two nights at check-in, for two more nights the next day, and for one night the day of check-out. That's a five night pet fee for a two night stay. Given all of these issues, I will choose the LaQuinta across the street next time.

This is a great property, with easy access to the surrounding area and Portland, the staff are proficient, professional and personable, making a good stay a GREAT one. This was not our first stay at the Mill Creek Inn, as best as I recall our first stay was in 2010, and since then the MCI has been our GoTo property in northern Oregon.

We had a fantastic stay at this Best Western. We had our dog with us and the gentleman who checked us in was not only super friendly with a warm smile, he gave us a couple of dog cookies for our pup and let us know where there was a park near by to take him for a walk. The woman at the front desk in the morning was full of joy, remembered our dog's name, and made us feel very welcome. The room was generously sized, very clean, and the coffee station in the lobby was also clean and had additional options to the coffee in our room. We would definitely stay in this hotel again, in fact, we already plan to stay there again on our way back home to Canada.

The staff makes you feel very welcome and comfortable. They treat all guest with a great deal of respect. The staff is very helpful - 5 Stars as far as I am concerned. We had booked 6 rooms for my moms funeral - I couldn't have stayed at a better place.

We were in Salem for a OSU football game so it was quick trip. We arrived earlier than expected and were able to check in early. Misty, once you meet her will need to introduction, greeted us as if she was welcoming us into her own home. Give that girl a raise, she is awesome! The hotel is clean, spacious and very well kept. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Thie Best Western is convenient located very close to I-5 and you do not need a map to go there since a clear sign from i-5 exit. Friendly staff and good amenities. Breakfast is delicious as it is offered at a nearby Denny's.

It is mine and my husbands 5th wedding anniversary. We wanted to get out of the house with out the kiddos but still be close to home so we chose to stay here. Misty was working the front desk at check in and she was beyond amazing. I had called a few hours in advance to ask about early check in and she was so bubbly and a pleasure to speak to. She not only allowed us to check in early but attempted to upgrade our room to the honey moon suit for free but the people in the room had extended their stay last minute so when we arrived she had a bunch of little snacks and goodies for us to enjoy our stay a little more. She wished us a happy anniversary and was super easy to talk to. Our stay was amazing the rooms were spotless and beds & pillows were super soft. I deft will be coming back to stay here. Over all the experience was a 10/10 !!!

I came to stay originally for 9 days and extended it to 18 days due to a death in the family there. The rank and file staff were great and the room was comfortable. When I arrived, I asked and received two extra pillows being I sleep on an incline. On the 10th day of the stay, I had my g/f fly in to assist with the tasks of dealing with the estate. I asked for two more pillows for her and the manager refused stating I already had two extra ones. I informed them that a second person was now staying in the room and that was the reason for the request. It was again refused. I asked if they really wanted me to change hotels over two pillows and they were indifferent about it. So I ended my reservation the next day and went over to Phoenix Inn and Suites which was absolutely wonderful and even they were shaking their heads at the stupidity of the situation and had extra pillows waiting for me in my room when I checked in and stayed there for the remain time I was there. Two pillows and it cost them a customer that travels quite a bit and now will move Best Western to the bottom of the list as to places to book at in my future travels.

Our stay was pleasant, quiet, and easy. Very friendly staff, very clean rooms and comfy bed. Breakfast was in Dennys across the street with a choice of 5 different breakfasts. Worked out quite well to my surprise. Will stay there again.

My dad and I were very impressed by how clean and well kept the hotel was. It was beautiful, quiet and very spacious. The staff was very professional and polite. The location was spot on, right next to a Denny's. We wished we could stay longer but had to move on.

If you need a break but don't want to leave Salem this is the perfect place. Large spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff. And a great pool, spa, sauna and workout room. The free breakfast from Dennys is great and you get %15 off with your hotel key with other menu items.

Our King size room was spacious and clean. I mean no dust, really, I always check. We have stayed at many for business and leisure here in Oregon and this has been the best thus far. Misty at the front desk was very accommodating. Read other reviews about the Dennys options, yes there's only 4 but its still a lot plus you get sausage or bacon with each choice. Will definitely be back when in the area.

This hotel was super clean. The room was large and spacious with updated decor that was crisp looking. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and I had a 92%sleep efficiency. The citrus shampoo and soap were just what I needed to feel refreshed.

Welcomed our dog. Lobby was homey and decorated for Fall. Loved the idea of breakfast at the Dennys which was located next door. Could have offered a couple more selections; pancakes, french toast. If staying several days the variety would be good. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely plan to stay here next time we are in the area. Probably the very best of any hotel I have ever stayed in.

Convenient to Silver Falls State Park, our stay was perfect for a bit of nature time. We also enjoyed the pools and the guest laundry was very welcome and efficient. Room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast at the Denny's across the parking lot was easy and offered enough selection from the predetermined menu. Staff was very pleasant!

I have returned to Best Western Plus Mill Creek repeatedly as a result of their consistent care of the rooms (super clean) and customer service! The staff are friendly and helpful; coffee and tea, etc available (with real half & half!) 24/7; beds are comfy and the rooms are CLEAN!

The room was extremely clean!! In fact cleaner than any Best Western we have ever visited. All employees we had an interaction with were excellent. The only negative I have to mention is that I accidently left a $25.00 Delorme Atlas of Oregon in the bed when we left and didn't miss it until we were over a 100 miles away. I called, told them our room number and they said they would call if they found it. I haven't heard from them which in my opinion means the cleaning maid or crew kept it and didn't turn it in, which if true is disappointing as any guests property should go to lost and found, not to someone's home. Other than that unfortunate incident which ultimately is my own fault, I highly recommend this hotel if you're in the Salem, Oregon area.

Hotel looked to be kept up. My room was located on the third floor. Room was clean and quiet. I didn't hear my neighbors or any road noise. I booked a room with two beds and the room was very spacious. I liked that there were two sinks. One in the shower room and one just outside. Room included a microwave and fridge. A unique feature of this hotel was that breakfast was available (with a voucher with 5 breakfast options to choose from) at Denny's across the parking lot each morning. Hotel rate was a bit higher than I would expected but seems to be comparable for the area. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. I would recommend it to others and would stay there again.

Convenient and safe location away from downtown but close to everything. Denny's restaurant on site available for early morning and late night meals. Rooms were clean and spacious. Although the hotel had no vacancy and was full, we had a quiet and restful sleep.

My daughters and me love this hotel. Its clean and safe, front desk is very kind. I will book here for future trips to Eugene to visit my daughter at U of O. The floors are clean in our room and the bathroom is spotless.

Thank you for such a comfortable and welcoming stay. I have traveled too much this month and the Best Western Plus Mill Creek Inn made me feel like I was at home. Thankful for the choice of hotels by my department.

I had the opportunity to stay in Salem for the night and chose it to avoid staying in Portland. Best decision ever. Portland would have surely cost me my luggage being stolen or worse, my car being broken into. Thank you Salem for offering me a safe alternative location to stay.

Arrived after a 6hr drive to be greeted by one of the nicest and friendliest front desk clerks ever. Misty. Misty was knowledgeable, friendly, happy to be there. She really knows her job and loves it, you can tell... I also overheard her co- worker John with his guests and he is equally as happy and aware of all aspects of his job!.. thank you, Misty and John....

We stayed for a week at the Best Western Inn in Salem Oregon. My mother-in-iaw had a heart attack. We drove from California all night, not knowing where we were going to stay. The first night we were fortunate to find this hotel. We could only stay one night because it was booked and I can see why. This was absolutely the best hotel I have stayed in. Misty, the shift manager, was FANTASTIC!! She went out of her way to find us a room at another hotel. She even made a little care package for us because we missed breakfast. The other hotel, The Phoenix Inn was horrific. We only lasted two nights before we were back at Best Western and luckily we were able to stay there for the rest of our stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. We got vouchers for breakfast at Dennys every day of our stay. They have laundry and a business center, which came in handy since were in Oregon much longer than expected. The beds, pillows and comforter were extremely clean and comfortable. I'm talking white down comforters, not the usual gross hotel comfoter. I cannot say enough about Misty. To be in this exttemely stressful situation, far from home, not knowing if mom would make it was very difficult. Misty took a great deal of stress off of our shoulders. She really went out of her way to take care of us. We can never say thank you enough to Misty. She is a beautiful ,thoughtful and caring person. It felt like staying with family, not at a hotel. Thank you so much Misty!!

Excellent clean rooms; pool was amazing as well as extended pool hours; coffee was great; breakfast at Dennys came with room and was great! Great staff and definitely kid friendly. Also easy to find off of I-5 so we didn't have to drive through town.

Best western plus mill is centrally located, in the burbs where I like. Very clean and well kept, staff friendly and for breakfast they give you vouchers to Dennys which is right on the prompt. Enjoyed our stay.

By far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! I love how the front desk was attentive and super nice! Love how there is a pool, kids pool, jacuzzi and saunas. Love how check out is at noon. Most of other hotels check out is at 10. Hands down best hotel!!!!

What a great place to stay in Salem, OR! Very comfortable, roomy, and super clean compared to some of the other places we've had to stay when traveling from Phoenix, AZ with our two small dogs. Misty was super friendly, and explained everything about the meal process with the Denny's restaurant that shares the parking lot. The on-site laundry facilities are especially appreciated, since we stayed 9 nights. A special note: the cookies Misty gave us at check-in were wonderful!! And the coffee bar is something I enjoyed several times a day - I remembered it from our last visit, and was very pleased it was still here. The kitchenette is spacious, and with two refrigerators, we were able to shop for food and cut some of our dining costs. One pseudo-negative...I wish they had a Keurig machine in the room, but we bring a mini-Keurig with us when we travel so we can enjoy coffee and tea we are accustomed to in the room, without having to make a trip to the afore-mentioned and much appreciated coffee bar.

The rooms are large, and very clean. I loved that there was a makeup mirror in the bathroom. Fresh coffee in the lobby every morning. The beds are super comfortable. The front desk people are very nice, especially Misty. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Old fasion customer service is what she showed us, overall pleasant stay.

A very nice and quiet location. The beds are very comfortable and the staff friendly and professional. Clean outside and inside with ample easy, free parking and easy access to the I-5 as well as to get into town.

The staff provided excellent service during my stay and the room was very clean. The room was large, Wi-Fi worked fairly well, this review requires a two hundred character minimum so I'm just adding words.

Our two night stay here was excellent! The room was clean and along with the pool area and the sauna. There's a regular full size pool, hot tub and a good size kiddie pool for anyone with children! The staff was great - especially Misty!

Beds were comfy staff was nice elevators a little small but other than that it was fine. Would recommend for the price was the best deal around. Breakfast was not bad either at Denny's. And our dog enjoyed the property.

This hotel offers so much. Friendly staff, large, comfortable, & clean rooms, and convenient location. The free breakfast is provided by Denny's Restaurant & is a regular meal size. A swimming pool, sauna, & workout room is also available. I highly recommend Mill Creek Inn.

Great place to stay with the family. Indoor pool, breakfast, big rooms. Lots of parking. Stores and resturaunts close by. Professional front desk staff. They should make the fitness room and business center card readers on the door.

The property and our room was clean and well kept. The staff friendly and helpful. The facility is located near but not next to a freeway so the noise level was not noticeable from the room. Breakfast provided at Denny's next door was hot and fresh.

My daughter niece and I had a wonderful stay here! The room was fantastic and we enjoyed the amenities! As well, Misty was so welcoming and worked very hard to make our stay a great one! Her customer service is top notch!

So impressed with this hotel. While Best Westerns always tend to be good and a safe bet, this particular one was a step or more above that. The employees were amazing…always welcoming us every time we entered the lobby. The lobby, the rooms, the parking lot all were clean and hospitable. The amenities were amazing. Location was perfect!

Came into town to participate in the Ironman event. Hotel is pretty central to everything, and about a 5 min drive to get into downtown. The hotel itself was clean, easy to get to as it's right off the free way. Complementary breakfasts at Denny's which was nice. The main reason I'm doing this review is because of the staff. Super friendly, and Mysty (not sure if that's how it's spelled) has so much positive energy she made us feel so welcome. I hope Best Western knows how much of a gem you are Mysty.

This hotel, on top of being exactly what I needed for my latest business trip, gets an excellent rating just for Misty at reception. I've been staying in hotels for work nearly every weekend for a decade and Misty is the best I have ever come across. She is genuine, kind, helpful, knows every feature and quirk of the hotel and her passion shines through. I knew I could come to her for anything I needed and felt genuinely taken care of. If we could all take as much joy and pride in our jobs as she does, the world would be a much better place.

We were in Salem for an Ironman event. We had booked well in advance because we knew it would be very busy. Hotel staff was friendly and professional. The rooms are very clean, large and very adequately appointed. The location is great for easy access to the freeway and to downtown Salem.

If you are going to try to use partial points, work with the BW central booking system. The staff person, Misty, was excellent in helping me in getting this done. It was nice to have a number of breakfast choices at the Denny's. The availability of free coffee and hot chocolate was great. The cookies were good too.

Great value for the price. The hotel and rooms were clean, beds and pillows comfortable, free select breakfast at Denny's in the same parking lot. This hotel is close to stores (5 mins) and the hospital (10 mins). Shower water was hot and pet friendly! The only con I can think of is that the walls are pretty thin so you can hear pretty much everything.

We are a family of four with a special needs child. We loved this spot, everything felt clean and new. There was a great pool/spa and even a kiddie pool. A nice coffee bar with hot chocolate always available. An incredible value full breakfast and vending on site. The staff was amazing, the location was safe and convenient.

Friendly staff, very clean. I use Salem hotels as a 1 night rest stop and this place was very nice for that purpose. Will stay again. Denny's with lounge in a shared parking lot is a nice, easy unwind

They understand what you need to get going on your day, and rest well at night. The complimentary breakfast and 15% meal disount at Denny's is an easy, affordable way to eat so you are not stuck in a food desert as at so many hotels. The staff was very helpful, and sensitive to our needs for privacy and quiet rest after out patient surgery.

We stayed for my daughter's soccer tournament and had a postiive experience. The hotel is very close to the 1-5 freeway and clean and well staffed. The rooms are good sized and they accept dogs. Helpful staff. The pool area is large and they have saunas.

We stayed and ended up with a suite. It was lovely and we felt worth every penny. It also is set up with a Denny's, in the parking lot, where you get 15% off your dinner and a free breakfast in the morning. The staff was professional, friendly, helpful, and the facility was spotless. We will definitely stay there again.

We were very pleased with our stay at Mill Creek. We had a King size room it was very spacious, clean and the entire hotel was well appointed. The laundry room was easy to use with the credit card machine vs coin and it was nice to get a warm breakfast with the Dennys voucher. The staff was helpful and friendly as well. Definite would return if in the area

Always love this hotel. Close to I-5 and their Continental breakfast is using Denny's next door. Friendly staff too and rooms were really clean. Cost was high but graduation weekend. Normally it is pretty affordable.

We travel to and from Washington and Arizona. Misty is by far the best! She went above and beyond welcoming us into The Best Western. She was always smiling and very helpful. She deserves an A+ from us! We would definitely stay there again because of her! I wish more people were like her. Thanks Misty!

We enjoyed our stay at this location. We were having to stay away from our house for the weekend, so we chose this location. We enjoyed the Denny's breakfast and the hotel was very clean. Most of the staff was very friendly. The only negative thing about our stay was the $200 deposit. I have stayed in many hotels and have had deposits, but never $200. This needs to be posted on their website so customers know what is expected of them. I can afford that amount of deposit, but some customers cannot. They may show up not knowing this and have to leave because they can't afford it. $200 deposit was more than the nightly rate I paid for the room.

We picked the hotel because of the quality and location. Usually enjoy our stay at this BW, but this time was different. Room was great, but noise late at night from above was just too much. We called the front desk after 10:30PM, but they were unable to quiet the family down -- jumping and running continued until well after midnight. Would be nice if there was an adults only hour for the hot tub and pool in the late evening; we were unable to use the hot tub because so many little kids were playing in it.

The staff was very pleasant and friendly The room was fresh and clean. There were two separate sinks - one in the shower/toilet area and one outside of that, which made it very convenient. I appreciated the amenities - several soaps, 2 ea shampoo and conditioner, etc. There was a big desk in the room and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

Good location with easy access to I-5 & Hwy 22. Room was clean and my request for extra pillows was fulfilled before we checked in. Pool was a bit cold, but the kids were fine with it. Has a small "kiddie" pool area that was nice for our toddler. Parking could be better. Breakfast was provided by Denny's next door. Great little coffee bar area available 24hrs for free. Kids loved the cookies and hot chocolate.

When I travel to Salem this hotel is always where I stay. Jen and her staff are always so welcoming and accommodating which makes a huge difference. The rooms are always very clean and the bed is very comfortable.

We didn't have a reservation but stopped at this BW late in the afternoon. The desk clerk was extremely polite & friendly & offered us two types of rooms on different floors. Check in was quick & easy. The room was large, clean & quiet with a super comfortable king size bed. We were given tickets for 15% off our dinners plus free breakfasts at the Denny's across the parking lot.

I have stayed here previously and had no hesitation in returning this trip. The staff make you feel welcome and the accommodations (expecially comfortable beds and bedding) are really great. Having a Denny's restaurant across the parking lot, with free breakfast, is a plus!

The personnel were friendly and welcoming. All the amenities were given and we were encouraged to make use of any and all. the hotel is easy to find and ideally located from and to freeway. While the hotel seemed to be full, it was quiet all night. Our room was on the first floor for easy entry and exit with the dog and my daughter who was on crutches.

Just last weekend my wife & spent an overnight at the BW Plus Mill Creek Inn. It is a very nice clean, well kept property. I must tell you of the desk clerk Misty, she was like a long lost friend that I had never met before, cheerful, obliging. just a delight to meet after a long road trip. My wife & I were in Salem for a surprise gathering of which Misty was forewarned, & helped us in many ways to keep the secret until the reveal time. Would love to go back there again just to talk with Misty.

Didn't receive rooms I booked . I had to sleep on pull out bed. Not good!!! My back didn't fair well. The hotel tried to fix the issues but where unable to get the rooms that I booked so had to take what they had.

This was our rest stop after attending a conference near by. Clean comfortable and good size room. Quiet and comfortable bed. We appreciated the restaurant next door. Used a voucher for breakfast at restaurant next door.

Hello, We visited Oregon with family and enjoyed our stay at Best Western in Mill Creek. It was in close proximity to the Woodburn mall. We stayed in a suite which worked great with our two teenagers. The room was clean and big. The beds were comfortable.

Convenient location, friendly staffs. Rooms are aged & smell (moldy smell. So I need to purchase Febreeze air freshener to clear up the smell in the room.) amenity isn't consistently provided. Lacking house keeping staff to clean all the room.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. We booked the Suite two-queen beds room. The room actually includes a two-queen bedroom with additional separate room with kitchen, sofa (bed), dining table, TV, few chairs and couches. Both rooms are very spacious and well equiped. The furniture looked like relatively new. The shower was very clean, equiped, with excellent water stream and really hot water. The check-in was smooth, with very kind receptionist (gave us cookies :-) and extra towels). Breakfast is served at the nearby Denny's using vouchers, which is really an upgrade as compared to standard hotel breakfast.

The entire staff is so kind and welcoming, but Misty really went above and beyond to make us (and everyone she interacted with) feel at home. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were lovely. The internet/wifi worked well. The collaboration with the Denny's next door for complimentary breakfast was far better than most complimentary hotel breakfasts that I have experienced in the past. The location is a safe and is an easy off/on from the main roads. My daughter and I felt completely comfortable traveling together in the area. We will be back!

The staff is very welcoming. The rooms are always clean & comfortable. Guests are given a breakfast voucher for the Dennys across the parking lot. It is a very convenient place to stay. Close to Interstate 5, but away from road noise. Quiet.

The room was clean and pleasant. There is a restaurant (Denny's) next to the hotel. We arrived early (noonish) and asked if there were any rooms available. The front desk person said check in was not until 3 pm. We asked if she might have a room ready sooner and she shortly answered, "After 3 pm." We asked if we could leave our luggage and she took us to an open room with no security. We politely declined. After that our stay was pleasant.

This hotel is awesome! With every hotel, there are normally a few minor things like the bathroom door not closing the whole way. But the customer service outshined the entire trip! We stayed twice, once on the way there and once on the way back, and our person, Misty, was there both times. Bless her soul omg!!! She was the sweetest hotel employee I have ever met. This was my first road trip without immediate family and she made me and my friend feel right at home. We even hoped to see her when we checked in the second time and both us and Misty were so happy to see each other again! She told us all the ins and outs and even gave us extra cookies (shh i didnt say anything!) With how loved and at home she made us feel, she deserves a raise !! Other than Misty, the check-out employees were amazing too and sweet. This was an amazing stay and I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is clean, updated and has an amazing staff. Misty at the front desk is the best! It was quiet at night and we had a good sleep. The breakfast at Danny's and wifi were great. We absolutely enjoyed our short stay.

Checkout is noon. Housekeeping slightly tapped on door and simultaneously opened it letting herself in while we were in the room. I had JUST finished dressing and sat down on the couch & my husband was still in his night clothes!!!

This location is easy off and on to I-5 & Hwy 22 /99. I called the direct line to make my reservation and the lady was very helpful and knowledgeable of all the promos and pricing. It was easy to book my room. All staff was very friendly and professional. The Hostess of operation was just like a family member, cheerful, helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable with a lot of pillows and blankets, best sleep every.

Please keep in mind I choose this hotel for my work trip. My employer wanted me to use a different hotel however i had good experiences with the chain overall and thought I was getting a good hotel. My review is split between Pros and Cons: Pros: Clean, Quick check in, toiletries, WI Fi, morning breakfast coupon, Decent TV, Pool w/towels, Drop ice no scooping to contaminate, Cons: Room maintenance: Note these items were fixed at my request but should have been done during room turnover: Loose Toilet seat, TV had no signal, only had one role of TP, inside chamber of coffee heater was dirty and lighting fixtures were at odd angles. The hotel also has you put your trash in hallway for pickup in the morning. This is a Covid Policy to protect housekeeping. But it made my floor feel trashy and smelly when you come out in the morning. I suggest a place on each floor to place trash so its not just lining the hallways. Lack of Vending. A location with limited food options means vending is needed. Location: The location has no walking destinations: food, entertainment extra. There is a Winco, Fastfood and other about 5-10 min by car. Staff. Only one of the ladies at the front desk was nice. The younger one did not seem to care and forgot part of the check in process so had to come back to desk to sign incidental form. ( I never use names protect employees) Overall still a good hotel but they need to bring back onsite breakfast and daily room cleaning.

Everyone was so friendly and warm. The room was beautiful and cozy. Everything was very clean and made me feel right at home on my extended work trip. I would have loved to stay longer. The fitness and sauna areas were a definite bonus, as well as the kitchenette space in the room.

Staff super friendly attentive and helpful. Pictures true to what you see on line, clean and lovely. All of the staff here works hard and an impressive cleanliness level. Very accommodating and super welcoming like you are family almost. I'm up here on family hospital travel which has been extremely sad and painful but the experience staying here has been lovely and uplifting even with the difficulties of the reason for my travel. The front desk gals and a hoot. Loads of personality.

This hotel is very clean, comfortable and inviting. The front desk staff (especially Misty and Cynthia) are very friendly and exceptionally helpful. They were always willing to help with whatever questions I had. The amenities are above par....a variety of complimentary coffee and creamers in the lobby 24x7, yummy cookies upon check-in, USA Today newspaper daily, fitness room, pool, sauna, laundry services, etc. The restaurant/lounge is a hop, skip and a jump across the parking lot at Denny's Restaurant and was very convenient. Parking is plentiful. Access to the freeway is simple. Rooms are very clean and modern/updated. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

I have been staying at this particular hotel for about a year now and they have always had a room for me, and in the few times that they haven't they have always found other accommodations for me. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and great amenities. I always enjoy my stays thank you Misty for your hard work.

The best hotel in Oregon! Clean and spacious rooms, friendly front desk staff. Breakfast Vouchers for Denny's a few steps away, and a small but maintained dog area, with room around the property for dogs to walk. Maintained coin laundry, coffee available all day, good amenities. Convenient to many food choices and across from Costco. We will definitely be back!

I travel a lot and have stayed at many Best Western hotels. Most are good and some really good. But overall, this is the best of all the Best Western hotels that I've seen. The lobby is impressive starting with the large and roofed outside loading and unloading area. Although I didn't use any of these, I did look and walk past the really nice pool, hot tub, workout room and sauna.

I wanted to share this because we stayed in a motel across the street (a little more expensive) a couple of weeks ago which was adequate, but our stay here far exceeded that stay in every way. If you are looking for a room in this area, look no further! Our double room was very clean, great decor, super comfortable beds with great night reading lights. There was a nice table by the window with 2 comfortable chairs, a fridge and microwave and coffee pot. The TV was large for hotel, as was the double sink bathroom. The room itself was much roomier that the other place. The lobby is really nice, and the staff was great! The pool and hot tub were much nicer. Free breakfast at Denny's was great - similar friendly staff and really really good cooks. You won't be disappointed here.

Have been to many Best Western Plus motels but this one is special. Very well-maintained facility. Friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to accommodate you. We enjoyed a very restful, quiet evening and highly recommend this motel.

The little touches, complimentary bottles of water, bathroom toiletries extras, clean, attractive room. Dog friendly and just one charge of $20 for both dogs. Definitely would stay here when in Salem again.

I was blown away at the entire experience with this property. This hotel is one of the best mid-range hotels I've ever stayed in. The lobby is beautifully decorated with a nice seating area and faux fireplace. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Due to COVID, they were not serving breakfasts, so they gave me a voucher for a full breakfast at the Denny's next door. They provided some chocolate chip cookies with the room keycards and offered self serve coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fruit juices in the lobby. The room was large, spotless and full of unexpected amenities. Multiple bottles of quality shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, makeup remover towelettes, etc. The room was very quiet and the digitally controlled heater was nearly silent. The decorations in the room were very nice and it was obvious that they intended to provide a high end experience by using quality materials and fixtures. There were a great many convenient 110 VAC and USB outlets around the room. The refrigerator had two bottle of complementary water and the the TV remote had been sanitized and was in a sealed bag. Upon checkout, there were sealed individual paper bags with apples, oranges, etc. for you to take on the road. Exceptional is the only word that comes to mind when thinking about this hotel.

When you book make sure to confirm they booked the type of room you want. I confirmed with them I needed a delux room bringing 6 guests. Upon arrival they had me in a regular room, not enough beds. We were only allowed one roll away meaning we had to sleep 3 to a bed. Needless to say that didn't work out well.

this was one of the best best western I've been in wonderful stay. staff more than helpful, break fest was wonderful at the Denny's right in the parking lot . the rooms where very clean didn't smell of chemicals will stay there again no problem

I travel often and this hotel is by far my favorite hotel to stay the people who work there go over and beyond for there guests. Misty, John and Jen are three of my favorite people! Very welcoming and outgoing. They serve breakfast free at dennys you pick of a little menu that has great options and filling ones. They have a huge pool area with a great size jacuzzi as well as a sauna, and gym. They have complimentary coffee and hot coco as well as free cookies they give you during check in. The rooms are always up to parr and if you forgot something you needed they got it! The parking lots ig huge from front to back so lots of parking for trucks and cars of all sizes. I highly recommend this hotel if your in the area.

Every time we visit Salem, we stay at Mill Creek Beat Western. Misty was over the top helpful calling to make reservations and then also changing them. Lobby was festive and decorated for Christmas. We felt welcomed.

I have stayed at the hotel since the 1990's and it is always excellent. Misty provided a warm welcome and mentioned my room preference. The decor is always great and well maintained. This is one of the best Best Western's that I have ever stayed at. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and kudos to the staff.

Misty at the front desk was great! She answered any questions I had and was very friendly and understanding. Me and a friend just wanted to rest for a bit on our way to our families from college, the hours we were there everything was prefect, nice and quiet. The bed was super comfortable!

The hotel was very clean, the front desk people were extremely kind and helpful. It was decorated very well for Christmas which I thought was a great thing. The pool and hot tub were very clean. The WiFi worked great. Rooms were very clean and well stocked.

Best overall experience ever! I have stayed in many hotels for travel or pleasure or business but I must say the overall combination of room size and cleanliness and comfort and the amazing encounters with staff members during needs on this visit exceeded any prior hotel experience I have had. Although there have been a couple hotels I have stayed in that were fancier with more amenities the price for those motels was much more exuberant as planned and they did not compare with the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff had this location. There is nothing I could recommend to be improved and I will use this hotel any opportunity I have when traveling through this location in the future.

Upon walking into the lobby, I knew this was going to be a nice Best Western. The lobby was clean, updated and welcoming. The Gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with our dog and he gave our dog treats and asked what her name was, showed interest. The room was clean and updated. We will definitely remember this Best Western!

Great experience. clean, friendly and nice room. The top Best Western I've stay in so far. Check in went smoothly, they gave us complimentary cookies. Room was very clean and spacious. Everything worked in the room. Complimentary breakfast at Dennys was very nice. Overall I give a 10 out of 10!!

I was shocked at how nice this hotel was. If this is how all the Best Western PLUS's are they should convert the whole chain to them. It was Best Western prices but the hotel lobby, upstairs sitting room decor and the room itself was outstanding. I was not expecting this from the traditional "Best Western". The free Denny's breakfast at this location was an added plus. Well worth the value.

We've been here before - and will continue to use this place. (Father-in-law will be staying there for Thanksgiving week.) A conveniently located hotel, with clean large rooms, a very friendly team, and free breakfast at Denny's is what makes this place hard to beat. And because we needed to stay for a couple of weeks while the contractor tried to finish up the renovation at the house, I can vouch that this place is also less expensive than all the extended stay competition. Yes, we didn't have the kitchenette, but since we wanted to explore Salem, getting out to restaurants and around town was a benefit, not a problem. Breakfast of your choice (limits) every day at Denny's bets the heck out of the little bags most place offer. And the free Otis Spunkmayer cookie in the evening is a nice treat. Getting out to restaurants was also made easier by the super knowledgeable team at the front desk. John, Jen , and Misty all deserve praise for their great attitude and willingness to be helpful. Highly recommend this place. ( I've spent 50+ nights in hotels this year).

Lovely entrance with huge spiral staircase, friendly staff, grand light fixture and organic grass art. We loved the 24 hour cappuccino bar, spacious room and double vanities in our bath and dressing room. Coupon to Denny's next door for breakfast with 5 choices where gluten-free toast is available! More than adequate for traveling on I-5. About a 12 minute drive from adorable downtown and waterfront features,

Overall, it's an older building, but the rooms were clean. The front desk was friendly. The complementary breakfast is at Dennys across the parking lot and they are very attentive. The staff there made sure we enjoyed our meals and if we wanted any of our drinks for the road. The beds were comfortable. I really liked the pillows. Does anyone know what pillows they use?

The front desk person, Misty, was excellent, friendly and helpful. Cookies and Coffee if you wanted it. Discount at the Denny's across the parking lot where you also get your free morning breakfast. Room was very clean, two sinks were helpful in the morning. Beds were very comfortable. If you want somewhere to stay in Salem this is it.

We spent one night at this hotel after driving from Seattle to Salem to attend an event. The staff cheerfully checked us in, and out the following day. The room was large, the Queen size beds comfortable, and the bathroom furnished with better amenities than many other motels at which we have stayed. The room was also well lighted, making reading at night easy. The third floor room was very quiet. We also took advantage of the Costco located across the street to buy gasoline. Breakfast consisted of vouchers for a limited, but adequate selection, at Dennys. Dennys is just across the parking lot. On leaving we were offered "go bags" that offered a nice snack or light lunch, and fresh cookies. Cookies were also given to us on check in. The staff is friendly, cheerful, and helpful. I recommend this hotel.

I am in Salem approximately once per week. I've stayed in other hotels, AirBNB, and with friends. This hotel is so clean and the staff are so friendly that it is now my go-to place to stay. Missy and John know me by name and greet me as though I were an old friend each time I'm there. I love the fact I get a free breakfast at Denny's across the parking lot as well as the fact it is one of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed in. Which, is surprising considering it's so close to the freeway. Definitely recommend.

We enjoyed staying in a hotel. They are helpful and kind. My kids loved the pool alot and we wanna go back again in the future. I believe the lady's name at the reception is Misty. She's very kind and helful.

Front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of cozy pillows. The bathroom had plenty of towels wash clothes and supplies.

Though not always the cheapest in the same class, the rates are fair, the rooms are always clean, the staff is helpful and friendly. Having a hot tub along with a pool (the nearby Holiday inn has a pool but no hot tub) is always an added bonus. The COVID era breakfast is a limited specified menu voucher for the Denny's in the shared parking lot. Underwhelming but adequate and predictably consistent. Across the street from Costco and easy commute to campus, downtown, waterfront or anything else within 10 minutes. About 20' to nearby Silver Falls.

Loved making the reservation with misty! We where given clear directions. And she made sure I understood the pool/sauna rules and times. I felt safe. Dennys was mostly frustration free and cost effective. Thanks again misty see all of you soon!

Nice clean room. We stayed with our dogs and the property and room were well set up to accommodate them. We were on the ground floor and were able to enter and exit without taking the dogs through the main lobby. The staff ( the 2 M's - Misty and Myra (I think that's right, sorry if not) were lovely and helpful.

We were very pleased with the large room, and amenities such as refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. We were also extremely impressed by how soundproof the room was! We never heard a sound from other rooms or the hallway. There was no external noise factor either. We also loved the free breakfast at Denny's every day! Definitely a great experience!

My wife and I cant thank the BW Plus staff enough for a warm, friendly, red carpet stay. Misty and Mya were the fun crew when we stepped in to the lobby. So happy we stayed here. Lots of laughs. Super nice, and funny hosts. It doesn't get better than a stay here. You really get treated well. Rooms were really clean. Hotel was spotless. Beautiful lobby, very comfy. Breakfast was great. The staff was incomparable and so friendly. Not a fan of Covid restrictions to certain areas but it is what it is. The only drawback is the rooms are mostly bed so no relaxing in a comgfortable chair to watch television.

It has been a while since we have stayed anywhere because of COVID. This was a really good welcome back to travelling. The staff was most welcoming, everything was very clean, the room was inviting and super clean. Free water in the fridge, cookies presented at check-in what more could one ask for?

My room was lovely and clean with a choice of pillows. AC worked great, disturbances were kept to a minimum. The staff is VERY friendly and personable. I am in hotels alone sometimes for months at a time so a friendly, outgoing staff willing to chat for a few minutes on occasion is nice. The hotel is across the street from a Costco and there is a Denny's and small lounge in the same parking lot. Minutes to grocery stores and other restaurants.

The entire staff was friendly and professional from the front desk ladies to the maids. My bed was comfortable and clean and the sheets were soft. It was an excellent value for the money. I will definitely stay there again. Such a convenient location.

Excellent experience. Although this is not a fancy hotel, we had everything we needed. The room was very clean, quiet, and well-stocked. The beds were very comfortable. I appreciated the enthusiasm of the staff and their willingness to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. We were within close proximity to our daughter's school and downtown Salem.

I was utterly impressed with this Best western plus. First of all the service was outstanding and Misty greeted us very quickly at the front desk and got us situated. The lobby is very nice and clean which is a great first impression. The rooms looked like they had been updated which I really appreciated because it makes it seem like the hotel actually cares about their business and its guests. They were very clean and probably one of the most comfortable beds I had ever slept on. The rooms have a small fridge, microwave, and coffee station so that was nice. The room smelled clean and fresh and it had a great working A/C and heater. This location is in a very quiet area so if that's important I would choose this location. Costco is nearby and several restaurants within a 1 to 2 mile range and of course Dennys in the parking lot. During my visit the pool and sauna as well as the fitness room were all open. Complimentary coffee and cookies are a nice touch in the lobby too. Enjoy your stay, it will be worth it!

The internet where I was staying wasn't viable for working so I called a few other properties and they all seemed to have recommended yours in their list of 3 to check out. That's usually a good sign. I called and talked to a very nice lady named Cynthia who made my 2 night reservation for me. The lasted all of 3 minutes and it was done. Very efficient. When I got there she even offered a comp upgrade to a really nice suite with a full kitchen. She was very nice and personable. Audit, in my experience, is usually a thankless job so thank you Cynthia! I hope you and your husband can go to the beach. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

This hotel suprised me! From the outside, it seemed like a "normal" hotel by the interstate, but once inside my opinion changed. The inside was nicely decorated and had a cool fireplace at the entrance. The room we were given was near the stairs and the elevator, but I didn't hear either! They still have bathroom fans, which are hard to find and the room was spacious!

Nice and clean hotel, great friendly staff!! It's close to local restaurants like Denny's across the way and others a short drive away. There is a Costco across the street for needed items and food. The Costco gas station attendants gets you fueled up in no time and on your way!!

Soccer trip. 5 teams from Washington East Soccer Club in Spokane. Accommodations were amazing. Costco right across the street. Plenty of food choices. The hotel is a nice blend of very clean facilities and updated rooms. A nice business office. Pool, hot tub and workout room are all clean and very usable. Front office staff customer service was exceptional!! 5 plus stars for Misty and Jen who really made us feel welcomed and like a top priority. Mya and Dylan also made our teams feel very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for any type of travel to Salem, OR. We will be back for sure.

The room was clean and very quiet. Theres no noise in the room from I-5, or from other rooms. We got the last room. So the building was full. I didnt check in by way of the internet. I simply showed up and inquired about a room and the desk clerk made it a simple process and explained everything. You will also receive a complimentary breakfast from Dennys for each guest, which is located across the parking lot. I recommend this Best Western to anyone. Our room was 314 which had a bedroom, livingroom, and microwave, fridge and sink. We were very satisfied. Also the complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner was awesome.

We were in town for an Ironman event. Despite the fact that the hotel was fully-booked, we had very professional and friendly service. Misty helped us at checkin and couldn't have been more friendly. Our rooms were clean and well-appointed. We would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at the Best Western-Mill Creek for both business and leisure for at least ten years. It is my go-to place in Salem. Friendly staff, free breakfast at Denny's next door, close to places I have needed or wanted to go, clean and pleasant rooms, and dog friendly! Always worth my money.

The young gentleman, John checked me in..He was knowledgeable, funny and charming. He made the check in process very easy for me. Our room was absolutely spotless as well. Across the parking lot is a lovely Denny's where we recieved our complementary breakfast as well as 50% off our dinner. I highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay.

I was just in town for one day and what an awesome experience! Friendly and welcoming. The receptionist at night and in the morning were so kind. I didn't get to enjoy the complimentary breakfast at Denny's because of an early morning hike, but I was thankful for the the “Grab & Go” bag that the hotel offers, with fruit and water, which fit my needs perfectly. I also loved the fresh coffee that I could take with me. The hotel was very clean as well as my room. The price was reasonable. I wish all my hotel experiences were this top notch! Thank you for making me feel welcomed in a place I've never been before.

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus Mill Creek Inn! The staff was amazing and welcoming ~ thank you Misty and Jen for making our stay memorable. We were traveling with our autistic daughter and they could not have been more accommodating and professional. I don't think during our three night stay the smile ever left Misty's face! My family has been displaced since February due to an ice storm that damaged our house. We came to Best Western Mill Creek the night after the storm & were blown away (to say the least)! Since then, this hotel has become a 2nd home to us. Everyday the employees have gone the ‘extra mile' to help my family with whatever it is that we need. Just an example... last night I told Misty from the front desk that I was bummed out bc the soda machine wasn't working. Well she went to the store on her break & got me my diet soda!! I am not even kidding about this!! Misty has given us the most top-notch customer service, making us feel at-home even at the most stressful times. Seriously everyone has been fabulous to us... the management clearly does a phenomenal job training their staff, we can't say enough good things! This is all on top of having the cleanest rooms, comfiest beds, and nicest pool that you can find. We've stayed everywhere & I can honestly say that you cannot do better than this hotel!!!

We stayed at this BW in the south end of Salem, OR. Have never stayed there before. Upgraded to a Suite but had only one sink in bathroom, & "Living Room" furniture was very low. Hard for an old guy like me to even get up when I sat down. This motel uses a nearby Dennys Restaurant for breakfast, either "eat in" with waitress, or carry out to our room. My breakfast was the best motel breakfast I have had in the last almost two years & no charge of course. Tells me I want to stay there again, & so will you.

Misty at check-in (and check-out) had the bubbliest personality and took care of us quickly while making sure we understood all of the hotel details/amenities. The breakfast served at Dennys was solid and we received great service there as well. There is a limited hotel-only menu you can choose from and a $2 pancake add-on option. I am picky about pillows and during my recent trip which included stays at several hotels, the Mill Creek Inn pillows were my favorite.

Clean, comfortable, quality hotel with excellent service staff and great amenities and very Pet Friendly! Staff noticed us and greeted us promptly at check-in, gave us complimentary fresh baked cookies and treats for our dog. They gave us a main floor room by the exit for convenient access to the designated dog walk grassy area. Misty at the front desk was amazingly friendly and helpful! Our room was very clean and comfortable. Fridge stocked with water. Quality comfortable bed (no noisy springs). Hotel has a nice pool for adults and kids, and a sauna and good workout room. Complementary vouchers for breakfast at Denny's in the hotel lot. Hotel is right across the road from Costco, and located close to Downtown Capital park and Riverfront park. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed during a major heat wave and needed to escape our broken AC. The staff were great! Free breakfast at Denny's and discounted dinner was such a nice perk. And the kids loved the pool! The workout room had 2 treadmills, elliptical, and a recumbent bike. The motel was very clean, rooms and beds comfortable. We didn't hear our neighbors even though the hotel was sold out. We would definitely recommend!

We stayed in a very nice, clean room with 2 queen beds. Modern furniture with refrigerator and microwave. Due to Covid, the hotel offers a free breakfast at the Denny's that is across the parking lot. My family of 4 each had a 2 eggs, sausage or bacon, hash browns, 2 pieces of toast, and drink with the free vouchers given to us by the hotel. A nice change from other places we have stayed that offer little to no breakfast options due to Covid. They also had a very clean indoor pool and jacuzzi that you can use with reservations (easy to make at the front desk). Customer service was great! Everyone was helpful.

We stayed at this Best Western Plus Mill Creek Inn while we attended a wedding. The suite was huge and elegant. The staff was professional and friendly. In my experience in staying in motels, this motel was the absolute best. Plus we loved getting a full breakfast at Denny's included in the cost of the motel.

The room was bigger than most hotel rooms, beds were comfortable- two pillows, nice sheets. Two sinks, one in the bathroom with a full countertop, one outside in dressing area. The pool was a very nice area, clean, with a nice whirlpool and a smaller wading pool. You had to reserve time to swim due to COVID restrictions limiting use. Nice that they gave a voucher to Denny's next door, for breakfast. The location was nice- a little away from some of the riffraff, but not too far off the main roads.

I've written a review for this property before, and have stayed with them now probably six more times. They continue to shine with service, value, location, and more. You probably know how hard it is to get back stuff you might have left in a room, or on an airplane? On a recent trip I put my water bottle down to complete the checkout. A couple of hours down the road I realized what I had done, and called. They found the bottle, and I asked them to hold it until I returned again (we are buying a home in Salem, and so are making trips there from No. Cal). I didn't get back for a couple of weeks. Imagine how much "stuff" they had found in that time frame. Day 1 of the return they couldn't find the bright red, aluminum American Conifer Society water bottle. But the woman at the front desk didn't stop looking. The next morning the bottle was waiting for me. It had been saved, wrapped in paper with all my information, and held for my return. It is this constant effort that sets the team apart here. The front desk crew is always working - helping with information, giving tips on where to go and how to get there; sanitizing the public area; checking on the pool and sauna area. It's a dedicated team. And while due to Covid protocols housekeeping doesn't service your room every day, they are always willing to help with new towels, soap, etc. And a hello every time you pass them. There are lots of options in Salem, but I'm not straying from this gem of a property. And the great breakfast deal you get at the Denny's next door.

This was a great place to stay. Easy access from the highway. Rooms were big and clean, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was nice too! We would stay here again when in the area.

Check in was great and quick. All the front desk ladies are so sweet and friendly. I had to travel for my grandmother's funeral by self myself with my two boys. I felt safe and it felt like a home away from home because of the lovely ladies at the front desk. We loved the Denny's vouchers for breakfast! Costco is across the street and Walmart down the street for any forgotten items. We will be booking this place again July when we come back for our family reunion.

Went to Salem for one night. Sourced a hotel with an indoor swimming pool and lucked out when selecting this property. We had such a wonderful stay. The front desk personnel was friendly and helpful. The room was large and the beds comfortable. The liked that pool time was by reservation only - i.e. one family at a time. Our children were in heaven. We will definitely be back.

One of the nicer hotels in the Salem area. CLEAN, offers affordable rates, and tremendous customer service that is always on par. I own a small business and travel quite frequently. If you sign up for their rewards program, it makes it even more of a bargain.. I always check their availability first when I book for business, or pleasure. .

I was visiting family so the location was very convenient because I would be traveling to the north, south and east of Salem. Will be using this hotel again.

I was a member at La Quinta Inn have been fir years until I booked in Salem Oregon. They treated me so bad I want them demonized. But Best Western was there to save the day Or night if you will. They got us a room on short notice. It was super clean smelled nice and had a wonderfully soft bed. I asked for extra pillows and they were on it in seconds. I was so grateful for their honesty and sincere respect.

Our room was great, perfect for us and the kids. Staff was busy but were friendly and took care of us and our requests. The foyer is fantastic and our room was spacious and well laid out. Room temperature was perfect. The blinds allowed too much light in from the parking lot lights outside (shades should be darker to block out more light). We don't travel a lot, but this was definitely one of our more enjoyable places we've stayed.

Hotel was very clean with good COVID protocols in place. Breakfast was decent as well. Staff was very helpful and parking was great as well. Safety was a priority to us and hotel was secure. All in all, the hotel was worth the stay and the rooms were very clean.

We had a long drive from California and we were able to check in early. Staff was very nice and the room was large and very clean. It was nice that we were able to get a comped breakfast from the Denny's next door. They also had grab and go available. I did miss the coffee in the lobby though!!!

I stayed here while on call for the hospital and I brought my family the staff here is better then any hotel I've even been too and the man at the front desk had the best customer service I've ever seen! My stay was so amazing and such a breath of fresh air it was actually relaxing to be on call! I am incredibly impressed

Warm welcome at door and not in a Sarcastic way. Rooms clean and when needed extra pillows and blankets they where brought up fast. Breakfast was provided at Dennys. Only issue was I was given 1 coupon and to get Breakfast you needed 1 each so I had to go back and grab 4 more for family. Should be a box with how many in the room or a scanner for the room key.

Staff gave me directions since I did not know the area, and do not have a smart phone. They have a great partnership with Denny's for breakfast also. Staff at all levels said hello, and ask me if there was anything I needed. Suite was spotlessly clean, and well set-up for my rest. Thank you!!

I had been out of power due to an ice storm and I really wanted to get clean, watch TV and relax. Great place to stay. Desk Clerk was very attentive and helpful. I would stay there again and will suggest to others as a good place to stay.

The caring and courtesy they showed not only to us but all of the guests who were trying to find a warm place for their families was overwhelming! It is tough to run a hotel in these Covid times, but this place is really doing it right. The check-in with John S was easy , fun and welcoming. And then he was a fountain of information about local sights, parks and restaurants. Minto Brown Park, Busch Park - both fabulous for an out of state birder. And later when we asked about a pizza place, John knew which places had the best specialties - thin crust, local beers, toppings. He was a delight and helpful all weekend. Breakfast while traveling has been reduced to "Grab and Go' little baggies. Not here, They've partnered with the Denny's next door to provide YOUR CHOICE of hot (or cold) breakfasts, prepared to order. This place is convenient to I-5, the Salem airport, and the Salem area. As we continue to look for a home in Oregon, this will be our home base for the search. Well done Best Western Plus and the team at Mill Creek Inn.

Recently stayed at this motel. The front desk person was a delight. Helpful, pleasant and thoughtful. Hands down nicest front desk staff I have encountered in quite a while. The room was large and very clean. Beds comfy with thick pillows. I would stay here again.

I felt pampered all weekend. The conference room was well lit, maintained a comfortable temperature and included refrigerator, microwave and sink. It was a large space so we could maintain social distancing. Safety protocols were in place. The room was well designed, comfortable and clean. The Denny's voucher for breakfast was convenient, speedy. Friendly and accomodating staff.

We walked in and we were greeted generously by the front desk attendant. The check-in was quick as we already had the reservations made. We stayed in a King Suite room and it was nicely decorated and very clean. My girlfriend and I had a great stay and would definitely return to Best Western Mills Creek Inn Salem, Oregon!

I frequently stay in Best Western hotels because I travel with my dogs and they are my go-to for pet friendly stays. Some of them are so-so, some are okay and some are so grim that the best I can say is okay, we have a place to stay for the night. The Mill Creek Best Western Plus was a total surprise to me - the pleasant decor and cheerful service were spot on! The way the lobby was decorated for Christmas made it look like a much more expensive hotel and was so pleasant to come back to at the end of the day! Hot breakfasts were a really nice way to kick off each morning and even the to-go grab bag I snagged on the day we left, while nothing exciting, was decent, with a breakfast bar, a fresh piece of fruit and a full-sized bottle of water. This will be my go-to from now on when visiting in the Salem area.

Super awesome ! Lobby had a Christmas Tree and lights and was very festive. Great friendly service. Comfy beds and clean rooms. Located a couple minutes off 5 easy to find. Free breakfast at Denny's . Highly recommend . Also great for my little puppy travelling with me.

This property does a great job taking Covid-19 precautions. They had Plexi-glass and sanitizing at check-in and all staff were wearing masks. For extra safety, we requested a room that hadn't been occupied for a few days - they even told us how long it had been since someone last stayed in the room. Lots of safety measures - remote controls were in disposable plastic sleeves. . We used DoorDash to deliver dinner to our room. Easy and Safe stay!

Great, can't say enough about our stay. Manager super friendly as well as the additional staff. TV remote was sanitized and in a baggie. Very clean room. Breakfast at Denny's where you can choose 5 different entrees. Checked in before check in time and was offered a later check out if needed. We spent 13 days total due to Wildfire damage to our home at 4 different hotels in the area. By far, this was the best one.

Check-in and check-out were super quick and easy, lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas, room was quiet and cozy. I felt safe and secure and the room was sanitized well for COVID precautions. I truly enjoyed my stay here. I would highly recommend to anyone.

The beds were so comfy! We asked for and received extra pillows and there are extra blankets in case you get chilly. The shower works great. You know how sometimes the tub won't drain at a hotel? Not here! It actually drained, haha. The shower head had three settings, which all worked correctly. No lime buildup preventing it from working right. The TV was easy to use, in other words, not so complicated to figure out the remote. Appreciated the emphasis on cleanliness and mask-wearing.

This Best Western Plus was the best we've ever stayed in. Crew were friendly and the room was nicely appointed and comfortable. It was very clean. The manager was able to access our Rewards account easily.

My stay was wonderful. The staff is amazing. The front desk experience was refreshing. All the staff was wearing masks and i got takeout food and the staff made sure everything went smooth. The cleaning crew was very nice aswell, i could tell they were smiling even though thet had masks on.

After heavily researching the other hotels in this area, this hotel had the best and most ratings. It was obvious as to why upon arrival. This place was BUSY! Room options were limited. The room was a bit outdated and was in need of a refresh. Toilet did not work properly. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. No issues during stay.

Front desk manager, John Schleufer, and his staff created the most welcoming and friendly atmosphere I have ever encountered at a hotel. This was not a brand new property but it was kept clean and beautifully decorated with Halloween theme. The room had a good size and everything functioned well. We had a great time even though it was only one night. They include breakfast at Denny's (next to hotel) which was very good. It could be better if the menu offerings include more choices. Regarding price and value, this was average compared to other hotels we stayed during our road trip.

It was important to us to stay in a hotel that took COVID precautions seriously. We were very happy and relieved to see how serious they took it. The front desk had a shield, the front attendant wore a mask and hand sanitized between each person that was being attended to. Breakfast was not held at the hotel, but rather a voucher for breakfast at the Denny's in the same parking lot was offered. That was a nice feature. You could call and preorder your meal or have a sit down meal. We didn't stay there long enough to require room service, but I would have felt very comfortable doing so since I saw every hotel employee wearing masks. Our rooms were clean and fully stocked.

We had to evacuate the Santiam Canyon early morning September 8th. That afternoon we arrived at the Best Western Plus Mill Creek Inn3125 Ryan Dr SE, Salem, OR 97301-9682 to welcoming individuals. One elderly, one wheelchair bound, two others greeted with hospitality and welcoming arms. Eventually we found many of our Canyon friends also housed. We were dislocated from September 8th to 18th and given privacy, warm assistance, and friendly goodbyes. In a time where so many were driven from their homes, the staff and management were pleasant and took great care of us.

Mill Creek Inn is a beautiful hotel! Reminds us of the Hilton. Reasonably priced and in a great location! Your 1 minute away from the hwy yet cant hear traffic. During these covid times this is the ONLY hotel that hasn't stopped providing everything your paying for. You get a complementary breakfast at denny's or a sack breakfast it's your choice. The pool is avalible by appointment with cleaning between each user, as well as there work out room. We can't rave about the staff enough. Housekeeping does a wonderful job keeping the entire hotel clean and disinfected. Our favorite front desk clerk is JOHN, this man can make you smile in seconds even when your not having a great day! He brightens any room!!! We have yet to not enjoy a laugh with John every time we talk with him! A raise is reccomend for sure: However we have really got to know and enjoy all the staff as we have been in the hotel for an extended time. The only downfall of this hotel in our opinion is no weekly rate for those of us having to use a hotel for longer than usual stays. We want to let anyone know who reads this.. it's a great place and we know you will enjoy it just as much as we have! They are a 3 story hotel, pet friendly, and have an elevator. During covid housekeeping isn't avalible to people staying over longer, however you can ask for and/or exchange any supplies needed such as towels, etc. any time your in need. Also provided in every room is coffee pot, microwave, fridge, landline, big tv's,ac, iron with board, luggage rack. We were in awww of the room sizes!! You really got it right with this hotel we love you mill creek inn. Thank you!!!

Conveniently located, nicely landscaped, pleasant front desk personnel, clean spacious room with nice amenities including full breakfast at Denny's (on property). Would have given 5 stars ... However, lesson learned ... request top floor so you don't have to listen to kids upstairs jumping on furniture and running up & down the halls. Since “quiet hours” don't start until 9:00pm, the front desk can't really do anything before that time. Perhaps families with children should be given rooms on the ground floor. We will continue to stay at Best Western properties but request top floor rooms.

My family (and dog) were displaced in the middle of the night on 9/8 due to the wildfires east of Salem, OR. We made it out with just the clothes on our backs. I was able to get the last reservation available online for this hotel. Upon arrival, we found a lot of other people waiting to be checked in, with similar attire and exasperated/tired looks on their faces. We were all greeted by the most lovely, warm, bubbly, soothing person, Misty. She was such a bright light in what was such a grim night. Her attitude was ON POINT! Every person she spoke with, she showed oodles of empathy and courtesy. She was multitasking, answering phones, questions, and checking-in as many people as she could possibly get, all with the biggest smile. I will forever remember her spirit and how well she represented Best Western! She has made an eternal impression on my family! We did end up losing our house and once the insurance agency got involved to find us temporary housing for the next few months, we told them we must remain at the BW due to the excellent service and peace of mind we had experienced. The Manager has gone out of his way to assist us with our future stay and we will be moving to a suite tomorrow so that we have more room and can get to some sort of "normal". :-) One note is that they only accept dogs in the rooms with an additional deposit, but not cats.

We were recently evacuated from our hometown in Oregon due to wildfires in the region. As we needed a place to stay for awhile, we chose this place since it's near home and I am a rewards customer. The staff were great. Misty especially had to deal with a rush of unexpected scared and nervous customers, and did so with calm, cheerfulness, and patience. She got everyone in she could accomodate. The rest of the staff has been great, including Jen the supervisor, and everyone else has been most helpful. We are anxious to get home, as of now we have been here nine days. But till then this has brought comfort and peace.

Excellent location for business stay. Close to I-5 and down town. Quiet room. Covid-19 has closed down the breakfast area and no coffee except in room coffee maker. Very friendly staff. Overall pleasant stay.

Truly memorable stay. Convenient location minutes from downtown, Riverfront Park, restaurants and more. We will definitely return! It would be helpful to have staff wear name tags that are large enough to be read from 6 feet away.

Stayed for the beginning of August. Hotel was clean and well stocked, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful, and the room was very comfortable (nice bed and sheets!) The pool and hot tub were a nice plus. We really appreciated all of the helpful hints from those at the front desk about local places to eat and see, and every place we went to that they recommended was awesome! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Hotel is newly decorated and right off I-5 and has partnered with Denny's for breakfast, so it's freshly cooked and delicious. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Ours even had a small kitchen area with a bar.

We needed to come to Salem for a family emergency. It was nice to find a lovely hotel to stay at since we had other things we had to deal with. Rooms were very large and clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was offered with a voucher for Denny's next door. Meal was very substantial. Grab and go bags were also available. They accommodated our service animal without issue. We need to be back in Salem later in August and plan on staying here again.

Beautiful inside and out. Rooms are large, clean, comfortable, and modern in decor. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I can't imagine a better value for the price. They are pet-friendly and next time we're in Salem we will definitely stay here!

Stayed with my grandson as we traveled 4000+ miles in a week. Friendly staff, clean room, easily accessible from Interstate. Quiet and comfortable stay. Free breakfast at Denny's is great and it was a convenient stop for dinner after 11 hours of driving, as well. Pool is open by reservation only and only one room/party at a time. We had the area to ourselves for a full hour. Would stay again.

The hotel was clean and appears to have taken proper Covid 19 safety precautions. They have installed the plexiglass at the check in desk. I saw cleaning products around. The breakfast voucher at Denny's was nice. Had a choice of 5 options for breakfast. We had a carrier on the car and most parking spaces were taken. Front desk was very accommodating and let us park near the front for the night. Definitely would stay here again.

I stayed at BW mill creek and it was super clean. The folks were nice. I brought take out back for dinner and the front first gave me a fork bc she knew this particular restaurant always forgets to give plastic ware. She was right. I got up to my room and they had not given me a fork. She also brought up extra pillows so my husband and I could make a pillow fort for my son.

I was a walk in customer just hoping that there would be a room available. The front desk clerk was extremely busy but made sure to greet everyone and continue to communicate with them throughout the process. My room was beautiful and very clean. I would stay again in the future.

I have been staying at the best Western Mill Creek Inn for over 18 years. I have stayed at other hotels in Salem, but this property is well cared for with modern updates. The staff are friendly and professional.

The only keep this from being a five-star review couldn't bring my cat with me, I loved the room but I have anxiety and my cat is my comfort animal I know weird but he is the only thing that keeps me grounded when I get attacks so the fact that they only allow dogs kind of irks me the wrong way.

Room was large, comfortable and clean! Beds were comfy and linens nice as well. Loved that you could actually open the window! Staff was friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. Felt safe there and the free Dennys breakfast was a plus as well.

I was very impressed with the cleaning going on during my stay. Even the bench outside the front door was being wiped down frequently. All team members were in masks and very friendly. My check in was quick and easy.

First off, thanks to John, the manager who greeted us the afternoon of May 30, 2020. He is enthusiastic about his job and bends over backwards. The hotel is lovely for the price — you can tell it's up a level from the regular Best Westerns. Our room (207) was clean, neat, and functioning. I liked the credit card vending machines — so much easier than coin and bill-operated. We don't have pets but we noticed enough amenities to allow for traveling pets. Thank you for the complimentary Denny's breakfast vouchers. If my mother and I are to die on this trip while traveling north to our destination in northern Washington State if we get caught in the middle of some riot in Portland or Seattle, at least, we had a great night's stay and a decent free breakfast.

When ever we go down to the valley we always try and stay at the Best Western Plus Mill Creek Inn because of how easy it is to get to the Inn. There is always enough parking and the restaurant right beside the motel is so helpful.

I am so incredibly happy and impressed with our stay at this Best Western! Due to the covid-19 pandemic the pool room was closed and they are doing breakfast differently but they are handling it great! We were checked in by John, who was helpful and made us feel right at home! He was replaced by a woman named Misty and let me just say, she is the epitome of PERFECT customer service! I went to the desk to ask for more towels and it must have been at shift change time because both John and Misty were there. She quickly introduced herself to me and asked which room I was staying in for the night. I had to call the front desk a bit later and she was so incredibly helpful and remembered my name, which I felt added such a personal touch! She was so fast to help me with what I had called about and when I later went to the desk to ask if they had bottles of water she ended up giving me toothbrushes and toothpaste as well because i had forgotten ours. While I was talking to her I told her how much I appreciated her, and how absolutely incredible she is at her job. She definitely made our stay even better just by being herself. Our room was great, very clean and they have things in bags so you know they have been sanitized. Overall amazing stay!

John at the front desk went WAY out of his way to look after us. We surely appreciated it! Thank you!! These are stressful times for everyone. We are travelling with a large dog and were made to feel welcomed. A treat bag for Amelia was provided, with a spare poop bag, just in case you ran out. Always a nice touch.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus Mill Creek Inn for several days in November-December 2019 for a family emergency. I did not know day-to-day for how long my stay would continue, and the front desk staff were fabulous in working with me, patiently extending my stay at different times without a single complaint or bit of impatience. Ashley was especially helpful and supportive. Also, when I'd made the reservation, I had requested a room on the quieter side of the hotel - and the room I was given was absolutely what I wanted. Because of that, I returned to the BW Plus Mill Creek for a work visit for the night of February 17, and I found the service exactly as I remembered. I was given another very quiet room, and then after I checked out, I called to ask if someone had found an item I thought I'd left in the room. Jen answered the phone and offered to run up to the room to see if she could find it. Well, she didn't find it - and I did figure out that I actually had not left it there. (Sorry, Jen!) Both rooms were very very clean before check-in and after cleaning by staff. Everyone was friendly and polite. When I was there during the transition from November to December, it was fun to watch the staff change the decorations from fall to Christmas! The hotel entrance and lobby are beautiful and elegant, which is very nice.

The staff is apparently hand picked to be cheerful and helpful. The adjacent Denny's is owned by the same family, and surprisingly clean , and the food high quality due to close oversight by the owners.

When I can, I like to stay at this hotel. Very friendly! I go between this hotel and another one but this is the one I like to stay at if the price is right. So many options of restaurants close by as well as Costco near by. Easy to get a great breakfast in the morning as well!!!

I stay here 2-3 nights a month and the cheerfulness of everyone working is always present. Detail to attention is obvious from bed(new and comfortable) to breakfast(good spread and cooked right). Also it's quiet! Just far enough from the freeway for NO traffic noise. Soup at 5 PM is wonderful.

Clean comfortable and updated, this is a great place to stay. Great front desk staff at check-in and check out. And I wish that they had the convenience of an onsite breakfast like other Best Western Plus hotels. Instead, you get a voucher for a nearby Denny's restaurant for a breakfast that is for very limited items on that menu and does not include breakfast breads (bagels, muffins, etc).

From the moment I arrived to the point I left I was treated well. The room was beautiful clean and quiet. The staff was outstanding and far better than top hotels. Highly recommend this as breakfast is included and WiFi. The pool and exercise room were well maintained and provided enough variety to get a great workout. Loved my stay and will definitely stay here again. Very convenient to highway access too

Check-in was great, clerk was really helpful and offered restaurant recommendations, etc. That level of service was above and beyond what I expected for the price. Our room had a strong chemical odor of bleach or chlorine or something like that. We were on the 3rd floor above the pool so it's possible it came from the vents. We opened the window and ran the fan and it aired out in about an hour and the smell didn't come back after we closed the window. When I was opening the window, I saw the back side of the curtains were filthy, my hands were dirty after I touched them. My daughter also found two blood stains on one of her pillow cases as we were going to bed. Our room was near the stairwell so every time anyone went up or down, the fire door slammed and woke us up. In fairness, we didn't report these issues. I am confident the hotel would have changed our room if we had asked, but I didn't want to bother for a short stay after we had already settled in.

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Room was very nice and pool was good for kids. The location was convenient for my stay. Only complaint was that the breakfast could have been better, there was only a few choices.

We nearly always stay at a Best Western Glad we did. Room was nice , clean and quiet. the location easy to find. The Staff was very friendly and helpful, check in was smooth check out just as smooth. Overall very happy with the total experience. BTW, Denny's is within walking distance. If we visit Salem again we will stay here again.

The Mill Creek Inn, a Best Western Plus property in Salem Oregon is top-notch. Whether for business or just a leisure stop on a road trip it is one of the finest properties we have stayed at during our travels. Location, Location, location. located approximately five minutes off the I-5 is the first attraction. Secondly, the property itself really exemplifies the quality and comfort that is to be found in Best Western Plus properties. If your stay necessitates a leisurely, or work side journey into Salem that is only about 10 minutes away at most. Breakfast is provided by Denny's which is located just adjacent to the property proper. The general ambiance, created by the staff, in harmony with the physical property, contributes to a great night's stay or a week's work away from home setting. Without reservation, I would recommend this property if you find yourself in the Salem area, for work or play.

I love this hotel in that it has a recliner in the King bed rooms and that Denny's is just across the parking lot for food and drinks. It is my go to place when I am in Salem. This hotel is also on the same street as the hospital which makes It convenient. I also feel that it is placed well between downtown Salem and south Salem plus being close to I-5.

Staff at the hotel was exceptional very clean comfortable made the kids feel right at home. The restaurant on the other hand was surprisingly unprofessional when it takes you over an hour just to get water to drink 2 hours to get your food which was not right or cooked properly that is a problem especially when it's not even busy. And the unprofessionalism of the manager and wait staff was just shocking. $80 bill or food that was not correct and took 2 hours to receive would you leave a tip? Well I did not and the manager copped a major attitude about it. Hotel was great staff there was great restaurant is a joke.

The Best Western at Mill Creek, Salem is located in a perfect spot for the traveler or business person. I like the proximity to I5, Hwy 20, and the downtown core is reached easily. Costco across the street, the airport about 1/4 mile away, and the health care facilities a straight shot into town. Go East, and you find all the retail and dining you could imagine.

When visiting Salem, we prefer to stay at the Best Western Mill Creek Inn. The hotel is always clean, rooms are very comfortable, the staff is welcoming and pleasant. Reasonably priced and a good location.

I really liked my stay here while traveling from CA to WA. the hotel was in great shape, and my room was very luxurious. Meals were free next door at Denny's which was great! Front office was very friendly and efficient! I'ld stay again!

I was happy to see the beautiful Fall decorations, friendly staff, and we has a very nice welcome. My husband was acknowledged for his service in the military. The room was nice and clean, did not hear the outside noise, and the bed was supper comfortable. We had a very nice stay and I highly recommend it.

We always use this hotel when we have conferences in Salem. As soon as I know that we have a conference in Salem I call to reserve rooms. Having Denny's at walking distance and the Woodburn Outlet Mall not to far is a plus. Always greeted with friendly staff!

I have stayed here twice, and both times I have been impressed by the customer service, cleanliness of the rooms, and amenities. It is conveniently located off I-5 and is very safe. Also, instead of a continental breakfast, you receive a complimentary meal at Denny's (four options to choose from), located just across the parking lot. I know I will be staying here again for business, and I could not be happier!

I highly recommend staying at the Best Western Plus Mill Creek Inn. Ease of access to the motel from I-5 and downtown, plenty of parking, professional, accommodating staff and housekeeping. There is no on site breakfast at the motel, however, just across the parking lot is a Denny's with a great staff and good food. For those of us who allergic to dogs and cats, there seems to be an increasing amount of people dragging their pets into motels. We were actually confronted by a growling, barking dog at the elevator who was not under complete control by his owner. All hotels, motels and resorts, open to the public, should have a policy of muzzling animals on their property, before someone gets bits and sues the company.

We stay here whenever we come to Salem. We visit family in Portland & find this a good option. We have put up with the "breakfast situation" over the years. Denny's is directly across the parking lot & for us it seems the best idea rather than how it was. However, most often, you wait in line & can get bogged down in the morning rush. We've eaten dinner @ Denney's whenever we come to stay & it is affordable & pleasant. They do have a lounge/bar. The staff is courteous & food is good. You do end up spending more for breakfast because the voucher is minimal. One good thing, you don't have to get into your car to find a warm meal. Costco a few blocks away for food & gas. We brought our own coffee maker because the room coffee has it's limits. We did find the clean COLD & ample sized queen-bed room more than comfortable when you turn ON the wall heater to high & wait for the benefits. Noisy of coarse. Not sure why the hallways & our room were so cold that evening. We entered the room & found the wall heater/AC OFF & when turned on, the smell of warm dust mites was present.Took forever to get the room warmed. Very unpleasant but what can you do when its dark, cold & raining outside. We in turn were very grateful for the dated atmosphere which seemed comfortable in a funny way. Real glass mugs for warm drinks. Clear drinking glasses & ice bucket with a round wooden table with 2 wooden chairs to sit on while watching TV. Can't get any better because you don't have to sit on the beds Rugs were clean. Computer table & chair was nice touch. Good window coverings, dark room was good for sleep.The queens beds looked great but once you got into the bed itself you realize that they spend way too much money on the fancy looking bed accessories & not for the traveler who likes warm blankets, real pillows & decent linens with substance. I usually bring an extra blanket & pillows from home for this issue. We had to stack all the "extra bedding" onto the floor in order to access the bed.You'd wonder how clean those bed accessories are? We had trouble with noise. Pizza delivery next door at 10 PM along with music coming from room down hallway. Next door's bathroom fan ran forever along with early morning showers made our sleep disrupted. Loved the room vanity with 2 sinks, refrigerator was small & felt warm when opened initially. Microwave worked. Lots of storage for clothes (table tops-drawers). H20 pressure was less that good for rinsing shampoo out of hair. Liquid soap with little suds action & no bath mat. Adequate to good bath towels & wash clothes. Lighting in the bathroom was great. It was clean! I like to read at night. They had lots of lighting around the room, but the LOW wattage was annoying & would make staying more than one night a big disadvantage & dismal. USB shortage, need I say more. The large parking area in then front of the hotel beats the usual for accessibility. You will walk in the rain to the front door, it's Oregon. From the outside, the hotel is attractive & landscaping is kept up over the years.

Nice property, room etc, if you are hoping for a decent breakfast (hotel breakfast) you won't get that here. It's a joke. The WiFi doesn't work in the rooms. Other than that it's a nice place. Husband and son didn't like the beds.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful, the décor of the hotel is first rate! The rooms are clean, very accommodating and the beds very comfortable. The Fitness center is small but clean and has everything you need to have a good work out. The hotel is close to everything, very easy to get to (right off I5). I would high recommend this hotel.

Rooms are actually roomie enough to conduct exercises if you so desire. The bathroom is clean, beds are comfortable and clean. The Staff there generally cares about your stay, comfort level and if you are satisfied with the cleanliness of your room. John, the General Manager, is very eager to please, to make sure you are at ease there and John, knows where the best places to eat in Salem, no matter what your taste is. John and his staff are always professional, courteous and generously nice.

We needed a last minute reservation in a suite for 6 nights due to an issue at another hotel. The hotel manager on duty went out of his way to reserve the suite and get us checked in. He and all the hotel staff were amazing. We enjoyed a clean and spacious room, great internet speeds and wonderful service. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

This hotel is safe, quiet, beautiful, and an amazing indoor spa, pool and workout room. I will stay here every time I come to Salem. It is beautifully decorated, and the staff goes above and beyond. Thank you !

Rooms, staff and having Dennys on property was great. Stayed here with other family members for my sisters wedding. Beds were very comfy and the rooms were quiet. There is a Denny's on the property. All of the servers were very nice and helpful. Would stay here again!

Arrived to hotel at 1.30am. easy to find, just off highway. Large spacious room, sink and counter outside of bathroom as well as long counter, sink, makeup mirror with bright light above inside bathroom. A great hotel, will stay again.

We have stayed at this property numerous times over the years when visiting my sister. The front desk is always friendly and helpful. Our room is spacious and very clean (we get the oversized room with couch). Breakfast is a voucher for Denny's next door which is perfect (you can get anything you want, but the voucher acts as a credit). Costco is also next door. The pool is huge and it has a nice fitness center there also. What I really like is there is a remote control for the heat/AC unit! I've never seen one anywhere else.

My wife and I stayed two nights here, in late September. It felt more like a Best Western MINUS than a Best Western Plus. The furniture in our room was outdated and dark. It dawned on me that it was like when I went over to my grandma's old apartment, and she hasn't changed her furniture in decades. It had old light bulbs too, no LED's. There were few electrical outlets, and I had to unplug the clock by the bed to plug my cell phone in. The available ones were across the room by the desk. Even then, the electrical outlets were powerful enough, but the USB connections were very underpowered. What also made it feel like grandma's place was the “guarding of the keys”. In order to use the fitness center, the sauna, or the business center you had to get the key from the reception desk. Why can't they simply be opened with your room's key card, like in all other hotels? The business center also had a one-hour limit on it's use. I have never seen that in any hotel. The guest washers and dryers are credit-card operated, and cost $1.75 per wash and $2 for drying. For the free breakfast, we had to go across the parking lot to a Denny's restaurant, where one has a limited selection of items to choose from. I am used to being in an out of a breakfast room in a hotel in 30 minutes. At the Denny's, though, it took 45 minutes before we could sit down and start in on our breakfast. The other morning, the line was so long we ended up leaving because the line was so long. There are conference rooms in the hotel. Why have these not been converted into a breakfast room and kitchen? Furthermore, expect to walk most of the year in the rain and cold to get your breakfast. This hotel needs a major renovation and in-house breakfast area. I would NOT recommend staying here again until they have done so.

Here we go on another road trip. This was our first night out, and the first time we stopped in Salem. As is normal, I check on BW hotels before I look at any others. This one is nearly perfect as far as I am concerned. The room was plenty big, and very clean. Bed was comfortable, and the a/c-heater worked fine. The place was nearly full, but we heard nothing and no one all night. My only issue was with the outlets in our room, 306. Most of them are physically weak. That is, they do not hold onto the plug tangs very well. While this is not only unsafe (I am a retired Master electrician), it pretty much doesn't allow your electronics to charge. When we got up this morning, my tablet and laptop were both all but dead, and they were plugged in. Not the end of the world of course, but bloody inconvenient. We told the desk clerk when we left this morning. Next time we stop in Salem, we'll be staying here again.

It was a great room. The staff was friendly. The beds were comfy, tons of pillows, soft fluffy comforter that was super clean and smelled nice. The room was large. I will definitely be staying there again!!

I look forward to my Best Western Mill Creek Inn stays. I recently purchased a Smartwatch which lets me know my sleep efficiency. Every time I stay at BW my sleep efficiency rate is over 90%, as compared to at home which is 85%. The comfortable pillows and bed allow me to drift off to sleep without counting sheep and stay asleep without the usual tossing and turning. Thank you.

The BW plus in Salem is on my top 10 motels of all time. The amenities are perfect. They are very well kept. The entire decor from the lobby to the rooms is exceptional. The entire mood is classy and comfortable. It make you feel like you are getting a lot more for less $$$.

Our stay at the Mill Creek Inn was excellent and would stay there again and again and would recommend this Hotel to all my friends and family, and a big thank you to John S for all your help to make our stay in the Salem area great.
