Best Western Bridge Hotel Lyon East

A very nice welcome after a hard day's cycling on narrow highways with a lot of traffic. We ended up taking the last stretch with the bicycles in a taxi. The room was somewhat smal, but clean and comfortable. It was a hot day and nice to be able to take a dip in the hotel pool. The restaurant next was a treat.

Very nice hotel in the countryside. Everyone at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were nice, clean and tidy. Plenty of parking. The only thing my room could have had was a mini fridge. About a 15 minute ride on back roads to the airport.

I stayed here with my family for several days during the Women's World Cup. The hotel was great: comfortable, clean and a short drive to many local points of interest including Lyon, Vienne and Perouges. In addition, the husband and wife team that own and run the hotel are charming. They really make an effort to ensure that your stay is pleasant and that you have what you need. For example, one morning after a late night, we stumbled downstairs 30 min after breakfast had been closed and our hosts were nice enough to pull out what we needed to have a complete breakfast. The rooms are all modern and feel recently renovated plus there is a pool for the hot summer afternoons when the kids don't want to go anywhere.

We booked 4 rooms on 09.05 and they sent their confirmation. 1,5 months later when 1 week left to our travel they increased the rate %80 by asserting that there is a big event at that dates in Lyon and pushed us to confirm increased price otherwise they said that they will cancel our booking. For sure we objected this unethical manner since almost all hotels are full when they informed us about the increased rate and it is not possible to find 4 rooms at same quality hotel or even a bit low or high quality hotel. Do not trust this hotel's confirmations they can change everything at the last second!

We stayed here for one night before playing golf the next morning. The owners arranged our round of golf at the Golf Club de Lyon. They were super friendly and our room was terrific. It was recently refurbished and had things we like such as lots of power points, USB outlets, good lighting and a nice shower. The restaurant next door on the river was good, too.

This was an overnight stay on our way down to our camp site, arrived in the afternoon, had a lovely drink by the pool, views where beautiful, room was very clean the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was very good, staff where very attentive. Would definitely stay again.

Turned up by taxi and had a very warm welcome from the couple who run the place. They can't do enough for you. I chose this place for the location en route from the airport to my meeting the following day (by taxi) not realising that it was so remote. It would be better for those with a car. The room was adequate, needing a bit of renovation (with not enough plug sockets) but comfortable enough. The pool area seemed lovely with sun beds and pool towels available. Several people were enjoying the late afternoon sunshine. The bar was busy later on, with a friendly bunch of people, although I found the drinks a bit pricey. There was no restaurant on site, although an independent restaurant next door was very good.

Easy and quick check in. Clean and roomy rooms. The staff were very nice and spoke english. Breakfast was ample and good. It's about 20 minutes to the town center. Even though I liked this I may stay in town next time as there is quite a lively nightlife there. We stayed one night as we were on a road trip so it was great for the one night.

The Bridge Hotel was a great place to stay to explore Lyon and Perouges. It's clean and has nice sized rooms that have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Owners are very helpful and accomodating.

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was wonderful. The owners were helpful and friendly. We will stay again. Wonderful surroundings and views. Short drive to Lyon. Sits overlooking the Rhône. Free parking.

I stayed at this hotel with a German colleague, I found the hotel staff to be very helpful and professional, the rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. the food that was served was excellent and home made which was a nice treat. I would also like to thank the owners for the help they gave me when my colleague had to rush back home, there was nothing that they wouldn't do to help you. breakfast was a continental breakfast with fresh and home made cakes, which were divine. the pool was very clean and the garden very tidy and kept well. the managers and the staff made my stay very pleasant, I would recommend this hotel for business, families and couples. I look forward to staying again on my next project later this year or early next year, many thanks

If hotels were measured on service alone then this would be getting 100%! The couple who run it clearly work very hard to make this hotel the best it can be. Nothing is too much trouble and I wish them every success. Convenient access from A42, A432, A46 and Lyon St Exupery Airport it is in a great location on the bank of the River Rhône and has secure parking for valuable cars, a lovely sheltered pool, superb breakfast and clean, well equipped rooms. There is a restaurant next door which offers good, varied meals for a reasonable price. All in all a comfortable and convenient stopover. My only tiny negative is a personal one. The AC wasn't on as the weather wasn't warm enough but I do prefer to have the choice myself.

I'm stay in Bridge hotel short time. I will never forget helpful owners. Beautiful view from window, rooms very clean, the same as in the pictures :), very good breakfasts , tasty beer in bar:) I hope to come back to this place

We visited Lyon on November and stayed at this hotel for short time but we liked service and view of our windows!!! Want to return ??????love this city a lot and we liked this kind of this hotel because it was comfortable to live there. Center of the city and near the station

Very nice owners of this relatively small hotel. Doing utmost to let the customers feel good. Rooms will be renovated. Cool pool and outdoors. Recommend Next to restaurant that is not too good but there are more places to eat in the areA

We were here in august 2016. It's a really nice family hotel. There's a swimming pool and even a Jacuzzi. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean with air-conditioned. Excellent base for trips to the beautiful surroundings.

Looks good from the outside, the room was a little old but functional. Got a room on the first floor with view onto the parking lot/main street, I figure rooms on the river-side offer a nicer view. However, we only stayed here one night passing through on our way to the west, so it was perfectly fine. Hotel is directly under the flight path, but we didn't hear any airplanes until we opened the balcony door in the morning. Spacious, comfy bed, separate bathroom and toilet. Breakfast cost 12€ per person and offers a lot of choices, both sweet and savory. Particularly liked the little crepes/pancakes and fresh eggs, and the whole staff was very friendly and refilled continuously. The owners are very nice and speak English.

On our way to the south of France we have stayed in this cosy hotel en with a great view over the Rhone. The hotel owners are a very nice and friendly couple. The hotel has a nice swimmingpool which was great for cooling down when we arrived. The rooms were tidy and the beds very good. The only comment to improve would be that the bath room could use some 'upgrade'. Thanks for staying at your hotel!

Had an overnight stay here after a last minute change of plans to our European road trip. The owners have only recently taken this hotel over and are working very hard to be excellent hosts (and succeeding). Beautiful spot on the banks of the River Rhone. Room was nice and quiet despite being on the flight path for the nearby airport. In summary, a lovely hotel in a beautiful location with excellent hosts. We wish them well in their venture.

The staff are incredibly helpful and very welcoming. They work incredibly hard. The hotel itself is really nice and very good for the price they are offering. It's in a really nice area where you can easily relax and get away from everything. The restaurant at the hotel is really nice and always busy serving good food

Even with Euro 2016 going on, the owners took care of my colleague and I! We stayed at this hotel over the weekend between our two week business travels. The hospitality was tremendous and the rooms were cozy. The owners even made our reservations at the restaurant (which was booked for a wedding). There were some breath taking views of the nearby river with a walking path on the banks. The owners were very willing to go out of their way to make us comfortable! The best is that it was around 25 minutes from the airport, but you would never know it, pretty quiet. Probably the "best" Best Western I ever stayed in.

Its not often you are treated as individuals in an hotel but the Best Western in Jons (East of Lyon) is a place that does just that. The staff were particularly friendly and even kept the bar open for as long as we wished (rare in France).

Hotel in Jons, East of Lyon. We stayed to visit the Euro16 match Italia vs. Belgium. From the hotel it is a short drive to the P+R to go into the stadium. The hotel owners are very friendly and provide perfect service. Swimming pool available and view on the river is really nice.

Thanks so much for the excellent time in your hotel. We loved the peaceful and quiet atmosphere and at the same time, its great proximity to Lyon. perfect compromise... hospitality is just incredible, thanks to the owners. We will be back! Cheers
