Best Western Houston Bush IAH Intercontinental Airport Inn

Needed a night at IAH Best Western nearest option apart from Marriott . Great price for simplicity. Good shuttle service and above all so clean with a friendly staff of hard workers. The beds were very comfortable.

The staff was great- friendly! They even called to verify our arrival and had everything ready when we arrived. We were a large group with 5 rooms! Service was great- rooms clean Very accommodating. We did not have a chance to have breakfast as our flights left very early, but coffee was on a tasted great!

I am too angry with this hotel, they are shameless. We made our reservation with booking and we paid 80dl for the room. When we arrived, the person at the front desk asked us our names I gave them to her and she told me that the reservation was not paid. I told her yes and she told me that it had not gone through the system and she asked me for the card, she charged me 162 dl when I asked her why that price if it was for one night, she told me that she made a mistake that actually the room was already paid through booking and that she thought it was a reservation with another name and that we were paying for someone's reservation. When she realized it, she told me that she would make a refund. This happened on December 23, it's February 7 and no one answers us for the money. The manager is rude and never called us and says he is not going to return the money. The problem here is not the amount of money is they want to steal my money and do nothing about that

Room was large, clean and comfortable. Liked that the floor in the room was vinyl plank instead of carpet. Fridge, microwave and hair dryer in room Airport shuttle was fast and efficient but interior of shuttle van was in bad shape, Stained seats and broken seat belts. Driver was good. Front desk clerk was friendly but would not let us leave our luggage at the hotel for an hour to avoid the $25 early check in charge.

I hate rating any airport hotel "very good", but for the price....ok. There is a shuttle that operates for 4 different hotels right outside of the terminal. Make sure to look for this shuttle. Don't stand around, or call the hotel. Be active, ask people around you. When you get to the hotel, make sure you book your seats for the morning after with the receptionist. All the shuttle drivers drive like there is a warrant out for their arrest. Very nice people but Houston IAH is no joke and it's aggressive. When reviews talk about the smell of cleaning solution in this hotel, they are not kidding. Mostly in the reception area, but it's like your grandmothers place circa 1987. Potent cleaning solution smell. Our TV had a blue line through the centre and the cable tv reception glitched, but it did not matter to us. I watched Jurassic Park for the 8th time off and on. Fridge, sink and microwave. Kept our crap beers cold. Waffle House is 50 feet from the hotel. It's rough in there, but the staff is good. $40 for a family of four arriving really late from wherever, is fine by me. There is a gas station with pretty much everything about 75 feet from the hotel. Beers and plonk wines. There's a new chicken place there too. We got the two room family suite so our two kids could sleep on the pullout couch with a door dividing us, but there were no bedsheets on our late arrival. The very attentive and professional receptionist was quick to solve this problem. Someone give this person a raise for what she has to endure. Breakfast was actually not terrible having staying in hundreds of hotels. Warm and cold options, although you should check the expiry on the yogurts. Trust me. Again - Book your shuttle back to the airport on check in. Expect a jet airplane overhead every 10 mins, 20-7.

This hotel exceeded my expectation with prompt airport shuttle pick up and drop off, comfortable newly renovated guest rooms, satisfactory breakfast with hot and cold options and very friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again!!

The hotel is very clean. It is an ideal place to spend the night while waiting for my relatives to pick me up. I arrive late at night and had no problem with the airport shuttle, checkin was pretty quick front desk staff friendly

We stayed here for one night during a layover and it was fine but we probably wouldn't want to stay any longer. CONS: - They checked us into a used room which was kinda gross but quickly got us into a new one - Saw one bug on the ground in our room, looked like a small cockroach but wasn't sure - Smells a little moldy, and overly perfumed - Pillow was small not full size - Shower pressure was weak - AC was loud and rattling, although this didn't bother us too much, light sleepers will find this annoying. PROS - Close to airport and has a free shuttle (we didn't use this service so cannot comment) - Bed was comfortable enough minus the pillow situation - Wifi was good - Outlets next to bed was good for charging phones - Sonic and waffle house was a walkable distance - Free parking - Free breakfast although a little sad, we didn't eat any of it but they had toast, yogurt, pancakes, cereal, eggs and bacon.

I was traveling on a multi-leg journey and had an overnight layover in Houston. Since I was traveling alone and arriving late/leaving early, I was looking for a close place that was safe and clean, with a comfortable bed, and an airport shuttle. This was all of those, plus really helpful staff too. The bed was amazingly comfortable. I didn't get to try the breakfast since I had to leave at 4:30am, but when I said this to the staff person, she offered to get me a muffin! I would definitely stay there again next time I pass through Houston. The only downside was the internet. It didn't work very well.

Hotel is average at best, bed was comfy and the woman working the front desk was lovely, but breakfast isnt until 7am in the weekends - not so good if youre catching an early flight as you miss out. Hard to get the shuttle unless you have a number they can call when they get there so ended up getting an expensive taxi & as that was the main point in staying here wouldnt stay here again. Food around the hotel is basically fast food so if youre not into that or a vegetarian theres nothing else. The guy on the desk for the first night was in training and had no idea about anything - not great he should have had more back up.

Pick up from the airport - look for a white van with numerous hotel logos on the side. It is not exclusively for Best Western. Driver was good. We booked our return pick up and that worked well. Again, a very good driver. Slightly disappointed with our overnight stay. The room was bright and clean, but unfortunately the toilet was not flushing properly. We have reported this. Coffee maker, fridge, toiletries and hairdryer. Charging points available. Reception staff polite. Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Coffee wasn't the greatest. Hot food was sausage and potato cakes. Sausage ran out and took ages to be replaced. Potato cakes were awful. Waffle batter was extremely thin, so waffles not good either. Waffle syrup and muffins ran out, as did spoons. Surely the member of staff responsible should be on top of this?

The stay was ok. However I had to request for my room to be cleaned several times. Which I was told by the front desk I had a DND on my door. How can I have a DND when I was at work and when I went to my room that was nowhere on my door. The room also had a bad smell in it. Not sure if I want to stay here ever again if I have an emergency like i encountered earlier this month.

Nice, clean, "new" (not sure if actually new or newly renovated). It bothers me that receptionist on the weekend that I stayed is not readily available for the guests. People have to wait for 5-10 minutes until she shows up.

Might want to be careful how your reservation is processed, as well as e-certificates/promotions run by Best Western. The staff did not process mine correctly and ten days later I am having to get customer relations involved.

I find myself in Humble to work shows at the Civic Center 5 -7 times a year. This is my home away from home in Humble. This is very convenient place to stay while working there. There is a Sonic in the Parking lot, a Waffle House and a Jack in the Box within walking distance. Fitness Center has free weights.

There was aen empty butter container in the hallway for three days after we arrived. Air conditioner cycled about every two minutes and it was loud! Slept poorly as a result. When the room was made up, the staff did do a good job, though.

Staff rude and unapproachable. Our window was open so room wouldn't cool, staff had to be pressured to come help as the window was stuck and I wasn't going to be charged for breaking it. That bed...a monstrosity, felt like an old school bunkbed mattress, if you know you know.

It was renovated, but not with a splash of paint and new carpets. The interior appears to be a brand-new building. Very thoughtful front desk folks. It's about 12 mins. from the airport by shuttle. You must schedule it several hours in advance.

The motel was a pleasant stay. The room was nice and clean. The staff was nice. The location was nice and close to the airport (which is a whole different story). I know this is a review for Best Western, but IAH was horrendous. I just hope I never have to fly in there again. BUT, if I did, I'd stay at BW. Good Job.

Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. There was no Bible in our room. Hotel smelled like marijuana. Shuttle bus never came to pick us up from the airport. We waited over 2 hours with multiple calls to the hotel, spoke with Courtney at the front desk who assured us the shuttle service had been notified to pick us up. Then was told we could just get an Uber then hung up on me, although shuttle service is included with the hotel. Apparently the hotel is a "3rd party" and they have no control over the shuttle service. So after sitting at the airport for over 2 hours, after just having surgery, we finally just got a taxi.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and always been very happy. Now that COVID is under control, I will be travelling a lot again and to Houston four or five times a year. Unfortunately, I was treated with complete distain by the two ladies at the desk when I checked in today. I actually asked one lady if she took special lessons on how to be unhelpful and rude. The last time I was treated like that by a desk clerk, I stopped going to that Houston hotel (where I stayed four or five times a year) and looked for a hotel with better service. Maybe I should look for a new one again. NOBODY deserves to treated like I was, unless they are rude and I assure you, I was not. I employ many staff and if one of them treated my good customers like that, they would be terminated.

Very nice for a few hours between flights. Courtesy van to airport. The parking lot has a Waffle House & Sonic Drive In. The early morning breakfast was fine-coffee, muffin, yogurt Good Layover hotel.

It was a great experience, from the point of arrival to the end of my 4 night stay. The environment is very calm and peaceful. The overall staff were extremely helpful and friendly. All the amenities were perfect, I will choose them over and over again.

New, clean, nice staff. Breakfast okay, have had worse. Airport shuttle very unreliable. No decent restaurants within walking distance - only Sonic and Waffle house. Mini store nice but no sugar free drinks. Rooms comfortable but no full length mirrors for the ladies.

The room was updated and clean. A little loud because there is no carpet or rug to dampen noise. The water pressure in the shower was EXCELLENT! Sometimes in hotels the water pressure is really low but this was a great surprise. It is prime location very close to airport but not the best surrounding area. The convenience is worth not having to stay too far away. There is a Sonic and Waffle House in the same parking lot. Check in and check out was fast and workers pleasant. I was just a little disappointed that there are no grab and go breakfasts for early departures. Overall if you want a clean no frills room, this is a good choice.

No vending/ice machines on site any more! Was told we could walk to Sonic or the store on corner for drinks. Asked about trolley (instead of shuttle). Manager tried to give a condescending 5 min. speech about the difference between a trolley and a shuttle, finally had to shut her down. Sat in dark lobby with a group all going to the airport early the next morning with NO AC and no lights whatsoever! Clerk REFUSED to turn on lights, stated he was not allowed to turn on lights until 6:30 AM. Waited an hour for a shuttle, it had never been called for by hotel staff so it never came. Clerk stated no one had trained him on how to call for a shuttle. Had to find our own rides to the airport, almost missed our flight. New owner, condescending manager. Lots of changes. All bad… Enjoyed staying here in the past, never again!

The staff was friendly, they went the extra mile to accommodate our needs, the facility was clean. There was a storm during our and the electricity went out briefly. The entire staff made sure everyone as taken care. Will stay at this facility again.

Where to start, when we first got there the front desk agent was very very rude during check-in not sure why put us on the second floor all you hear is the front desk agent calling tell her we're making too much noise moving around because her office is right below are hotel room refuse to move us kept us in the same room the breakfast is the only highlight I can actually say about this trip and that was even subpar but to start the whole day to begin with the shuttle driver is reckless talks about everything and does not care but that's not here or there I get this hotel at three out of five stars my fiance gives it a one

We checked into room 316 at approximately 10 pm for 2-night stay. After showering and in bed, another guest attempted to enter our room with a key. Stayed it was their room (even though we were already in room). We left next day because of this and charged 2 nights. Manager was no help in remedying situation. They couldn't even find us in system next morning even though I had a confirmation. He said if we left we would only be charged one night but I got a bill for 2 stating I was in room 206- we never stepped foot in that room

Front desk does not want to be there and serve the paying guests, and it shows. Good luck in finding "the" manager -- it is run more like a hostel, and you are on your own. Shameful to be part of the Best Western brand.

Quiet place, so clean, so nice people. My only complain was the Van Shuttle. Too much time waiting from the airport to the Hotel. As usual, nice front desk people and really good location. Even I have requested a late check out with affirmative answer and fantastic service.

We've stayed here the night before our last 4 trips out of IAH. It's clean and comfortable and great value. Some of the other nearby airport hotels are expensive. We didn't need anything fancy. We didn't eat breakfast due to early flights, but it is available. We didn't use the hotel shuttle to the airport because we parked at the nearby Parking Spot 2 remote parking, but it is available. We highly recommend this hotel for your stay near the airport.

Always clean and comfortable. I always look forward to their tasty breakfast. Very friendly, helpful staff. I would recommend this hotel and I always stay there when I travel to Houston. It is very convenient to Bush Continental Airport.

I like Best Western usually. The service was excellent here but this particular hotel has three very large drawbacks which causes me to warn others. The parking lot is cramped. If you are driving anything larger than a Toyota Camry you are going to have to do some maneuvering. Second, they have plantation blinds on the windows which do NOT block out light. If you can't sleep with bright lights on, you won't sleep here. The breakfast was awful. It was grab and go but it consisted of over processed foods in cellophane wrappers. The orange was the only real part of the breakfast. I was there on business and I will not be back.

Price was great. First room had an overwhelming perfume or cologne smell that permitted the room. Toilet paper was not refilled. Two sizable stains on sheets. Receptionist was awesome and first gave us new sheets at our request and then got us a different room when the perfume smell came back. Second room was great. The smell was still there but at a tolerable level. Service was great.

Rooms are clean but old. Bed is ok, not super comfortable. A bit noisy. Front desk service was weird. One girl when I arrived and asked for the shuttle was super rude and unfriendly. When I left, another girl was extra helpful and nice. Close to the airport but in the middle of nowhere.

Some of the staff doesn't want to work there and it shows. Some just outright unfriendly. The free breakfast doesn't seem to exist. And BW corporate doesn't seem bothered by it. What more can you say?

My family and I needed a place that was pet friendly and handicap accessible. We had no reservation due to booking with "Comfort Suites" whose website stated "pet friendly" go to check in No Pets Allowed. Went to Best Western Bush Marvalette WAS pleasant and accomodating and stated she stayed in the room she gave us which was #101. She was introduced to my 15 yr old son my wheelchair bound mother my hubby and our 2:dogs. We went for the grab bags in the morning none made...when we took 4 we got the stink eye from morning clerk. Like we were stealing. Watched every move...REALLY? The kicker my son got locked out and he had both dogs in the lobby the front desk clerk said can't let you in. He explained his Grandmother could not get out of the bed to open the door...they kept asking him for Identification...he said I stay here...again had both dogs. They said we really can't let you in now..we don't know you live here. He had 2 dogs on a leash explained his Grandmother could not get to the door. If he didn't stay there why would he have 2 damn dogs on a leash? The maids vouched for him and they let him in. Then the younger dog our puppy had an accident in the bed...they said they can't give him any more sheets for his bed, because Pets are not allowed in the beds. He called me I was looking for a permanent place for our family...he was CRYING his eyes out. They refused to give him clean sheets. He slept with wet blankets , cold and upset. It was Marvalette who stated the supervisor said "No" a child was punished for no reason...didn't we pay a deposit, abd daily fee? They were cold hearted and no where did I get a policy on the pets, someone had the nerve to knock at the door and give a paper with pet policy underlining no pets in the bed. THE WEBSITE SHOWS A WHITE DOG SLEEPING BY OWNERS FEET ON THE BED!!!! They were the most Boujie uncaring lazy staff ever. The Maids worked the hardest. I requested my deposit back with do called supervisor ...upset non caring for handicap persons, or children. The worst experience ever.

We had a great stay at the Best Western Plus in Humble, Texas on McKay Drive. Marvelette and Genevieva was the best hotel front desk staff I have encountered in a long time. I travel a lot for business and this time I travel with my family for safety. I am happy I choose this hotel to evacuate too.

Our room was very clean with comfortable beds. The staff could not have been more pleasant. This hotel is at the most 5 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport. There is a 24 hour shuttle available.

I just love the atmosphere and the lovely workers. They do a wonderful job and do whatever they can do to help you out with your stay. Even though its not a hot breakfast you do get a nice grab and go bag for breakfast. Will stay again here!

We booked here when traveling for Junior Olympics. Our rooms were not ready at check in time. The desk ladies were rude and acted like we were trying to steal something when we asked for the “bagged breakfast” (that they didn't tell us was available), or towels or anything at all. Big attitudes. They were never at the desk. Had to ring the bell several times before anyone showed up. Sometimes they didn't and we had to go back later. The room was clean, and the price was decent. It was supposed to include a full breakfast, which it did not. That was disappointing. I would not recommend this property.

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE customer service experience with this Best Western Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport Inn. We were mislead about their amenities 4 times knowingly. A corporate complaint was opened July 12. With absolutely NO resolution they closed it and ignored my requests for 23 days. 23 DAYS. Even the GM ignored me. Saddest part is they didnt even try to fix the misleading information. Just ignored the problem. DO NOT RECOMMEND ... and NEVER WILL.

Will not stay any where else but a Best Western They make is comfortable and very easy to check in and out. And friendly and the rooms or always either cool or warm to the season that your staying Please anyone thinking of traveling please consider a Best Western, afforable and Friendly

I love staying here. Marvalette and Martha are excellent employees who know how to treat their guests. The rooms are cleaned well and very comfortable. The shuttle service is efficient and gets me to where I need to be quickly and safely. The outside grounds are clean and hotel is located next to a Sonic for easy access to food. There is also security outside, for those who drive in, that monitors the parking lot. This is a safe area and well lit.

Martha was a huge standout and saved the day, i wasnt informed about having to schedule my shuttle back to the airport at check in.. and she acted quickly and got me on one within 10 minutes. THANK YOU MARTHA! I was less than impressed with other front desk staff, i felt like i was an inconvenience to them. One evening, both front desk staff were both outside and saw me at the desk but didnt acknowledge me until i went outside to ask them a question to see if they had any cutlery.. i was met with a rude nope and i could clearly tell I inconvenienced them. I am also concerned at the lack of presence of front desk staff especially at night. Someone easily could walk in and take the elevator and no one would question it. Perhaps someone confirming room numbers in the late evening would provide more security. All in all, this place was super clean and was perfect for what i needed it for and was a close distance in uber to malls and resturants, I would stay here again!

This is my first Best Western stay. I would give this hotel a 10 out of 10 grade for their great service and friendly staff. I experienced quick check in and check out service. The long term parking was reasonably priced . Upon my return the shuttle pick up was within 10 minutes of my request.

Amazing hotel with modern rooms and friendly staff! Great amenities as well, and very convenient location to many restaurants and shopping. Right down the road from the IAH airport with a complimentary 24-hour shuttle. Highly recommend!

As I checked in Marvelett made me feel as if I was visiting family, she was courteous, friendly, and very helpful she gave your company a good vibes for me. Checking out I received the same quality of business with Marth these two ladies represented the company proudly. Thank you ladies for your graciousness.

Old, dingy and beat up, poorly lit entry of hotel. Rooms were the same. The room I was in smelled like cat urine or animals in the room. I was only there for a few hours due to a flight delay. This place should not be in business.

Be careful of this place. After I booked, I noticed on my credit card that Baymont had charged me $250 for my stay 4 times. Total of $1000. No notice and no credit. Had to dispute my case which is a pain in the arse. Place has gone down hill since 2017. Breakfast is mostly consumed by staff and friends. TV channels are limited and Washer / Dryer was "Out of Order" by entire stay. What a disappointment that it is being run to the ground.

Long term car parking advantage.. it's very cost effective..hotel facilities are average.. free breakfast is ok..phones not working..so room service is a problem.. no complimentary water at rooms.. overall it's good if you would like to park your car for long term and stay back after a long trip !!

Exceptional way to leave your car and fly. Check in sleep left for airport at 4 am. Great experience. When we arrived back from our Alaska cruise an had luggage at 1:00 am, called hotel for pick up and driver was at pick up area waiting.

Was stranded in Houston and found this gem. Polite staff, shuttle to and from, clean room, and surprised to see a hot breakfast. Even though it was just a few hours, it was a bright spot in a really long night.
