Right off the interstate but quiet and comfortable. Gated parking in the rear allows secure access with your room card. Guests were enjoying the pool until late without hassle which I enjoyed as I love seeing people have fun on travels. The coffee near the front desk was exceptional and the early breakfast is appreciated. Our room was very clean and in working order, thank you.

It was okay. For the price I wish it was better. But I understand the rate since the rodeo was happening. Rooms were outdated and not the cleanest. Terrible location, it's not near public transportation. Staff could've been nicer. Pool is outside be aware .

For sure I would recommend this hotel to my friends or to anyone who is looking for a pleasant stay with very good breakfast and room amenities. Staff was very helpful especially EVA and the varieties of food at breakfast was delicious.

This hotel is very update and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only downfall is that it did not have a Hot Tub. It has gated parking as it is not in the best part of Houston. I felt safe , and the lobby is fully stocked with things you need so you dont have to go outside at night.

Got our graded to a suite which was great and accommodating. Breakfast could have been better with the eggs being runny and coffee didn't have much options for milk, half and half, or creamer. Internet is spotty at this place but great place to stay if you are going to Houston for a couple of Astros games or something.

Great location if you do not have a car. Able to catch bus to downtown right in front of hotel. .Bus is only $1.25. There are a few good restaurants to have dinner close by to Inn that you could walk to. Great breakfast with eggs, sausage, potatoes, fresh yogurt, waffles, juices, pastries.

We were a little concerned about the area when we first pulled in, but this hotel is very nice and the staff were very courteous and professional. Your key gives you access to a gated parking lot which we utilized, although in retrospect I think the car would have been fine in the main lot. We stayed two nights. Housekeeping knocked after the first night and offered to replenish our towels and coffee which we appreciated! On our second night, we walked over to Ostioneria Arandas Mexican Seafood which is right next door. We were very happy with this choice and would recommend this restaurant!

We had to take my daughter to Texas Children and this hotel was very easy to get to and from, the elevator is a little sketchy but very friendly service. I would bring extra cash is you want to purchase any bottled drinks. It was $8 for 2 bottles, water and root beer. other than that it was a good stay.

Very nice. Comfortable bed, wonderful bath bombs! Those are amazing! Breakfast was typical, they have an elevator. 3 floors. Quiet stay. I would come again. Pool is unheated. Not the greatest area. But they do have a semi-secure parking area. By Semi-secure I mean, it is gated and you need a key to enter, but there is a large fence panel that has fallen down in the corner near the business adjacent, so anyone could walk in. Front desk staff is very nice and helpful. I left a pillow behind and they put it in housekeeping area and kept for me for a week when I returned to pick up. They do provide a basic breakfast. There are the newer keurig type coffee makers in the room and in the lobby they have these really nice capuccino machines that are available all day. There are lots of eating places close by. I tried the Tostada Regia restaurant close by and it was very good!

Best hotel with check in age of 18. It's really hard to find hotels with check in age 18 that are also actually nice. Me and my boyfriends are 19 but have great jobs while being in college and can afford hotels. We hate motels and was very happy with the size and cleanliness of our room. Breakfast is also great here.

Horrible Customer Service by the Front Desk Clerk (Luis) and his Manager (Sheila). When checking in, 3 of us different guests checked in around the same time and the 3 of us were given the same horrible cusotmer service. Our room was right below the Launder room (as per front desk clerk) so the constant noise of the washers was unbearable to fall asleep. If you have an issue and bring it up to the front desk don't expect to be looked at or acknowledge, response will be given short and never acknowledging your presence. And if you don't like any of their responses or services they're willing to cancel your Reservation, just let them know...

Elevator is a death trap waiting to happen. My daughter waa terrified and we had to use the staircase each time to thw 3rd floor. 3rd floor smells like urine, enough to make you gage. Staff is friendly enough.

This place delivered exactly what they advertised. First hotel I've ever stayed at that DID NOT smell of cigarettes. There's plenty of food options within walking distance. The surrounding area felt safe and clean. I really cannot find a single complaint to list.

The front desk person was unfriendly and unhelpful. Couldnt find our rewards member info and had a bad attitude. Seemed clear she did not like her job. I should have wondered about the place when i noticed the tall fence around the parking lot that wrapped around the back of the hotel. Observation suggests not the safest neighborhood in the city. Breakfast in the lobby area was a total bust. Coffee machine kept turning off. The milk machine was out, as was the yogurt dispenser. Different front desk person, same general attitude. "i don't know how to change it and not sure when the staff is coming in that does". PS there's a MacDonald's nearby. Avoid this one if you have a choice.

Staff is unprofessional and the TV does NOT work up to standard. Always glitching and and turning itself off. The overall quality of the hotel rates CHEAP!!! THE SERVICE RATE IS BECAUSE OF THE LADIES THAT CLEANED THE ROOM.

Really good location!! Conveniently located on the side of I10 and several restaurants. The rooms are well kept and very clean, property is in very good conditions and the staff is very friendly and willing to help with anything you need. I will be using this location in the future

Was asked to leave a $100 deposit which to my knowledge i have never done that. Been a member for 4 years first time i have been asked to do that. I made a reservation for a King size suite and got a Queen size, wasn't very pleased!

Although this establishment has clean rooms, this only made the stay bearable. There are limited eating options nearby. The $100 hold fee for incidentals was more than the room rate. It speaks to the area.

If your are looking for a non smoking hotel, this is it. No smoking in the whole hotel. GREAT. The price was good. I didn't get to use their gym. Close to the freeway to get anywhere in Houston. Oh, the bed was great. The pillows was too soft for me.

When I checked-in they asked me to leave a 100 USD deposit to cover damages to the room or smoking inside, I was told my credit card was going to be reimbursed in 3-4 business days. Therefore, I though of leaving the 100 USD cash but then I was told that they would not give me my money back if I checked out before 11:00 A.M. as I had to do things early morning and then continue my trip I had no other choice but to use my credit card. I told the lady in the from desk that no other BW hotel requires this type of deposit, she rudely responded that all BW hotel require the same deposit, she is wrong, I am a frequent BW hotel user and no other hotel has requested this type of deposit. I will never stay in this hotel again, I hope they reimburse my deposit, else I will have to dispute the transaction. BW you should take care what type of hotels you certify, this one certainly does not deserve to be part of the chain.

I was pleased to find a Best Western Plus within the area I needed to stay and easy to find. The hotel is clean and well located. The staff was efficient and friendly. The room was spacious, very clean and quite comfortable. I liked the fact they have secure gated parking. The lobby has snacks and drinks for sale if you arrive late and hungry. The price was also reasonable and competitive.

The employees were very wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and it was super easy coming and leaving. Check in was super easy as well. Our room was big and very clean. 10/10 would stay again. Hit up the little Mexican truck by chevron gas station!

The room was perfect and so was the property. Not to mention its gated so you need your key card to enter and exit which made me and my family feel safe! The pool was clean and so was the breakfast area!

The price was good and the hotel was average. It wasn't awful but it wasn't spectacular but it was only $85 so what can I say. The breakfast was decent all except the potatoes, and the room smelled a little but it wasn't completely terrible.

My room was really nice and so was the hotel. They have a front parking and a gated parking which is nice. I was a little put off that when I checked in they wanted my credit card or cash for the room and then an additional $100.00 deposit in credit card or cash. They did say that would be refunded upon checkout, which i just checked my credit card statement and only the room charge is on the card but still it was confusing that they had to run it as two different items.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Breakfast was great with quite a variety to please. The place is a short drive to downtown and off of a major highway. Loved the idea of no carpets in the room which gives it a nice clean smell, no musty smells!

We came to Houston to see the Astros/Rangers game. Check in was quick, our room was very clean and smelled really good (unusual for a hotel room). Beds were very comfortable, breakfast was good, a little cold but probably due to so many opening the kids, checkout was mere seconds.

Very clean hotel. My room and facilities were very clean. Upon arrival to the hotel, the checkout was fast. Only thing is they will hold $100 for incidentals, something you might find out upon arrival and not if you booked on an external website.

I absolutely had an incredible nights sleep. Yes, I was tired after driving 9 hours, but the bed was incredible! The room was large and comfortable and the shower was perfect, very roomy. My next night was spent at the Quality Inn. There was no comparison. It wasn't worth the cheaper price!

This Best Western is located along a low-rent stretch of I-10. There are a number of hotels and motels in the vicinity including a mid-rise under construction. The residential area north of I-10 consists of well-kept older ranch houses, more appealing than the commercial district along I-10. My room was on the back side, and overlooked the parking lot and the construction site. The room was comfortable and quiet in all respects. I liked the gated parking lot. The breakfast area could use some attention. On two of three mornings the orange juice dispenser ran out of concentrate and sent forth a watery mess. On my last morning the area ran out of fried potatoes. The front desk clerk was aware and did nothing. Both yogurt dispensers were also empty. The coffee was very good and I got enough to eat. It is frustrating to be offered choices that turn out not to be there. On the whole this location served my needs.

The room was great!! The breakfast area is kind of small and got crowded quickly. However, the food was great and stocked well. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star instead of a 5 is because of the location. It could just be me, but I didn't feel completely safe outside. They had a gated parking area that made me feel better, but also made me question why it was needed. However, it was in a great spot in the city in relation to distance. Everything we went to was within 15 minutes. Would I stay here again? Maybe. If the area improves, because the hotel was fabulous!!

The hotel appeared to be very nice from the outside, up on entering you could clearly tell they were remodeling. Check in took several minutes longer than I'd like, there were 2 women working but only one doing check ins. The room seemed clean until we saw several roaches crawling on the walls, in the bathroom. Was not happy about that.

I read the reviews of this hotel and a family member also recommended staying at this property. This was my first stay with BW as a Gold member. My experience was far from nice. Check in - There was another guest arguing with the front desk attendant about their bill. She (the attendant) asked me to have a seat in the lounge until she was done. There was a gentleman standing behind me trying to check in also. She checked him in while I sat in the lounge. The hotel is under renovation, so rooms are being used for lounges, the breakfast area and the front desk. Room - 110's a/c wasn't cooling very well but it was a hot and humid day and thought if I lowered the temp, it would cool down eventually. No such luck. The space between the night stand and either bed was grimy and covered with a thick layer of dust. The rest of the room was clean. The smell of the paint from the under renovation lobby area was very strong in the room. House keeping - I slept in Sunday morning and left the room about 12 noon. I remover my 'do not disturb' sign before I left. I returned to the hotel about 5 to change for an event. My room wasn't serviced. I went to the front desk to inquire about why my room hadn't been cleaned. The attendant seemed rather bothered or annoyed by my inquiry. I asked if I could have some more towels. She asked me to return those I had in the room and she'd give me more towels. She asked me for my room number and took the used towels. I waited in the room for about 30-45 mins and by then I was running late and used a towel which I'd used before. On returning to the hotel, there were no clean towels in my room. I went to the front desk and there was no one there. It was about midnight and I was exhausted from a long day so I just went to bed. On check out, I informed Eva of what had happened and she apologized for the inconvenience. I will definitely skip this property on my next trip to Houston.

They are under construction but were still very very accommodating! Great breakfast and clean rooms! They have a pool which we didn't get to visit because we weren't there long enough! We will stay here again for sure!!

Except for not letting us check in early, (we had two 1 year olds) everything was excellent. Very clean, quiet, cool, dark when drapes closed, comfortable. Parking right by the door, made it easy to load and unload.

The hotel was clean and convenient to many of the things we wanted to do. There were a few kinks, but the hotel staff worked hard to work out matters. I didn't Iike that my floor wasn't clean the entire stay, even after informing the staff. But it was an overall good experience.

Pros, great prices, clean and presentable. Helpful, friendly, courteous staff. Con, only one, no restaurants or bars worth going to within walking distance. You definitely need a car here. Other than that, it's a good place for a business trip or short stay.

While the stay was overall very good, clean rooms, comfortable beds, excellent wifi, pool looked clean (to bad it was cold outside), and nice staff. Bring drinks and snacks, out of 3 soda machines only 2 worked and were out of almost everything and didnt have the correct price posted you had to select a soda to find out they were 2 dollars and they only snack machine I saw was completely empty.

I've stayed here a couple of times and each time I'm greeted with a smile and with great customer service. The rooms are clean, restrooms are a good size, great water pressure. I sleep very well here. The breakfast is good. There's not a big selection but what they do offer is worth it. Every time I see a staff member I'm greeted. It's right off the highway but there is no noise.

Our air conditioner could not keep our room clean, the maid did not clean our room after the first night I complained and went to the front desk to get towels and we were told to leave our room earlier in the day because they had a shortage of housekeepers we were always out of the room by 11:00 am and you need to uses you room key to open the gate to get in and out of the property need to have it wioth you at all time

Alice at front desk is great! The rooms were very clean. We felt safe during our stay. Break was hot and delicious. Pool was clean and wifi was fast. I would recommend this hotel to others and really enjoy our stay!

I was visiting Houston for a short period, but this location made the trip even better. Daisy at check in was very welcoming and friendly. She was very helpful and really made the process of checking in run smooth. The room was very nice for the price I was paying. They have gated parking if you want your car in a secure location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Houston area. It was only about a 15 min drive to downtown, and that was with traffic.

I would only recommend this hotel if you are tired and need a place to sleep for one night. Check-in was 1.5 hours late, the front desk worker was rude, they lied about everything when I tried to check out early.

Okay where do I start. I chose this hotel because of the great deal I got on the 3 night special that they had. The check in process was not what I expected from a Best Western. The girl behind the desk took about 5 minutes to acknowledge me. To me that was strike 1. The 2nd thing that I was not happy with is the fact that she yelled out my room number, now I worked at a Best Western in Florida for 4 1/2 years and one of the things they tell you is not to SAY A GUESTS ROOM NUMBER. The 1st room that she gave us was not the room type we booked, so she said that I would have to wait 20 mins before we could check into the room type I reserved. 3rd thing about this hotel is that the breakfast was over at 9:00 AM. In my experience staying at Best Western hotels in the breakfast ended at 11:00 even if it is free to guest. The only good things I can say about this hotel is the gated security and the spacious room. I will not stay here again.

This is a nice hotel for the price not too far from down town Houston and very close to good restaurants. Check in was quick and easy and so was the check out. It looks clean and modern and I like the fact that it's close (less than a mile) to two very good mexican restaurants.

Alice was really nice and did a great job checking us in. We were in room 214 and the air conditioner worked great. Loved the gated parking, refrigerator, microwave, and room location. The parking lot is small but we always found a spot. I wasn't a fan of the firm mattress and more than two towels and washcloths would have been great.

Excellent hotel! Very clean. Employees were very courteous and accommodating. The parking lot is gated. No interstate noise. Breakfast was excellent. Close to several places to eat. The pool is small, but it looked very clean. All areas of the hotel was clean. Very impressed!

Service was great. Very nice rooms. The area is a little ruff. It is tons of restaurants around the hotel. A very nice and clean pool. The hotel is really worth the staying and money compare to the other hotels around it.

Great hotel stay! My kids loved everything! Breakfast was delicious, I would only change the breakfast sausage to turkey meat. Also I asked the lady at the desk a question she couldn't answer, she said she was still in training!

Really great stay. No problems with the staff they were really great people. I went out in Houston. It was very easy to find off of I-10. They made sure I knew when breakfast was and the staff was very helpful. I would chose this hotel again once I go back to Houston.

Our stay was wonderful. Staff was very kind and courteous. Hotel room's were very clean, and the bed was comfortable. For the price you cannot beat it. Downside is they don't do breakfast until 9 am like it says, they start picking up and turning everything off 10 minutes early. So if you want breakfast go at 8:30. Parking and location aren't the greatest but I was happy that it had gated parking. They let us check out early because I ended up being sick and they refunded us for that night even though we paid in advance. We will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future when we go visit family.

I was in Texas with my son to visit colleges, and this hotel did a good job of providing a convenient, comfortable overnight stay. I might try to get closer to the colleges if I were to go again, but the staff was helpful and breakfast was very well done.

Poor location, gated parking for "security", blow-dryers have to be requested through executive housekeeping, unskilled customer service clerks. Hair in our bathtub from previous check out, odd tv remote that was not user friendly, no welcome binder for restaurants or fun things to do in the area...just a very poor, poor experience.

This hotel is useful for businessmen. This is not the city but it is close. The hotel is on the way from Galveston to Houston. Pool was small, but was clean, too. The small Mexican restaurant next to this place was surprisingly good.

This is one of the worst hotel experience I had. Our room was beyond dirty. The bathroom was not cleaned at all. I called front desk. No one picked up the phone. I went there and explained the situation. I told her that towels are all around the place in bathroom and the bathroom was not cleaned. Someone didn't even flush! She didn't believe me and went to check the room. Then, she gave another room to us. It was also dirty. She told me that this is the only one available even though there were tons of rooms available at night. If I am the manager of this hotel, I would fire her immediately due to lack of hospitality.

I would not recommend this hotel to any one, under any circumstances. The pool was closed, the gym is way under par, the breakfast was terrible and they were out of coffee 2 out of the 4 days I was there, the staff at the front desk were always looking down at their phone and you could hardly get there attention not to mention one day the cleaning crew quick cleaning my room right in the middle - I had to call the front desk just to get more towels. This place was easier the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

After having just seeing 3 games in Arlington a few days earlier it was now time to watch some ball in Houston. The hotel definately met all of our needs and was close enough to any shopping that we wanted to do. Lots of freeways and traffic to the Minute Maid Ball Park but we managed to get back and forth safely.

In Houston for the first time for some training, my company booked me into the Best Western Heritage Inn. After a horrendous flight that was delayed a couple hours I was exhausted and looking forward to a good nights sleep. Arriving at the hotel around 12:30am the woman at the reservation desk had me checked in and on my way to my room in a few short minutes. I went up to my room and when I opened the door I saw that someone was already sleeping in the room. I quietly shut the door and went back to the reservation desk. The woman was very very apologetic and explained that I was the first guest they were able to check in thru the computer, that it was down for most of the day and that she still had manual reservations to log into the computer. She quickly upgraded me to a suite and I was on my way to my room. The room was clean and comfortable. Everyday house keeping did an excellent job of keeping the room clean and I never needed to ask for anything. They offer a decent breakfast every morning and even though I didn't use the pool, I did notice that it was well maintained and clean. In fact the entire hotel and grounds were kept clean. If I'm ever in the Houston area again I would definitely stay at this hotel again

I like Best Western and I try to stay at Best Westerns wherever I go. This hotel is really not up to some Best Western standards. They only give you two towels (most hotels I've stayed in at least give you three or more towels). I usually use two and my husband uses one. The towels are quite thin and threadbare and small. Wish they would improve on that. The breakfast could use a little more variety. The bed was comfortable though. Also I don't understand why they insist on making a copy of your driver's license. All other hotels I've stayed in will look at my driver's license for identity verification or write down the number but never make a copy of it. I don't like copies of my driver's license floating around out there (identity theft is a great concern.) Not staying here again.

Having stayed in every possible configuration of motels and hotels, for the money I would put this one on top. The room was recently redone, very nice. We didn't get stuck at the far end of the corridor. Breakfast was full on, I would like to have a choice with the eggs though, not a fan of scrambled. Great pool, and free gated parking. Poor Staff Service, very bad food, Food not fit for a dog. Water bugs in room. Pool out of order for most of my 8 night stay. Breakfast was out but since it wasn't 6:am yet, I wasn't allowed to take an orange. Coffee is out nightly but the creamer is locked up.

This is probably the worst BW I have stayed at and perhaps the "Help wanted HSK" on the billboard outside should have been a sign of things to come. Upon arrival I found the previous guest's used towel hanging on the bathroom door with most of their hair on the floor below it. At least dinner was included but I wasn't sure I wanted to explore the box of leftovers in the refrigerator... The only thing that could make things better at this point was a stiff drink but there wasn't a cup to found. I visited the lobby and was initially treated rudely by the front desk worker that was camped out in front of the TV with their smart phone. I explained the situation and was directed to some cups. The next day after returning from work I found the the leftovers were still in the refrigerator, the hair was still on the floor but at least the towel and my pint of vodka were gone... Seriously!

Better customer service. We had next door guests that were loud for the whole evening. I asked the hotel quiet them down and they did little to try to solve the problem. Our bed sheets were not completely dry and we asked for more and had to get them ourselves from the front desk. It should not have been called a 3 star hotel by any standard.

Very quiet floors, secured gated parking and hot breakfast was good. the Gym is small but plenty of machines to use. A very easy walk to 3 restaurants nearby. Location was good right off the interstate. Minimally staffed in the evenings, when you ask for an item to be brought to your room, they ask that you go down to get it. Breakfast area a bit small, so avoid peak times for breakfast.

We got to our room and immediately noticed the bed and floors were damp. We went into the restroom and there was mold on the ceiling. I called down to the front desk and was told that there where no other rooms because a company was coming in and the rest of the rooms were reserved. I asked if someone want to come take a look. I was told housekeeping had already left for the day. I asked for bleach so I could clean it myself. I was told there wasn't any bleach that she could give me because the bleach are in industrial sized packaging. I asked for anything that could kill the mold. I was told there was a bottle of Lysol if I wanted to come down to the front desk and get it. I did go down and get the Lysol and sprayed the heck out of the mold with it. I have been sick before because of black mold and have been sensitive to all mold ever since. This is the only reason it was a big deal for me. Housekeep came by in the morning and sprayed bleach on it and got a brush and cleaned it up. I am thankful for the gentleman that cleaned it up with bleach. This is a hard situation for me because I don't want anyone including employees to become sick because of mold. I have been sick because of mold and it's not easy. So just be cautious and look at your surroundings.

Hotel staff were pleasant and professional in appearance and attitude. The room was clean upon entry and was maintained so by hotel house keeping staff, although you could tell when staff changed , not the same level of attention to detail was maintained. The hotel is under some construction ,but, staff did their best not to allow the work to interfere wit my stay. The breakfast was good , fresh, and clean.. I encountered a slight continual problem with getting into the gated secure parking area with hotel key. But as a whole the hotel and staff met my needs on this trip and I would stay again.

Pros: Room is pretty nice overall, with fresh-looking paint and comfortable surroundings, ice machine on each floor, better than average breakfast, security gate at night Cons: Locked side door was not secure because it did not close on its own (have to force it closed), so building is not actually secure, not even one exercise machine functioned properly, no clean towels for exercise room, only dirty ones strewn about, clearly neglected amenity which was a big part of choosing them, sinkhole trip hazard in hallway hidden by carpet, carpet seems very old, frightening noise from elevator, check-in took about half an hour with only one ahead of us, keys repeatedly didn't work, cleaning staff spent majority of time on phone and watching television, until breakfast was busy, then vacuumed loudly near everyone who was eating and trying to talk, slippery tub with no remedy. Definitely would not recommend this place for their asking price...

Mold and Mildew seem to reside here permanently. Room smelled awful, mold growing in the bathroom. Stains on the furniture, staff apologize and say that's all they can do. Breakfast bar is a mess, I saw it stocked first thing in the morning and they appear to use the day before biscuits. Left at 7am in search of a hotel room in Houston that didn't make my skin crawl. Never again.

When we opened the door the smell took your breath away. When I asked the front desk for another room, she said they were all reserved despite online showing rooms available and despite the fact that all the rooms had not been checked into. She offered me a can of Lysol and apparently had offered this as a solution numerous times before with how quickly she offered. I then asked for my money back and she said it was too late. I told her I would be leaving and contacting my credit card company to dispute the charges. Suddenly another room became available. Although the smell was better, it has gotten worse not to mention the nasty chair that was in the room (see pic). It was so nasty I simply took it to the front desk to get it out of the room.

Traveling with the family we were passing though Houston. It was getting late and we required a place to stop for the night. I have stayed at other Best Western hotels in the past and know what the general quality of a good Best Western hotel is. We arrived at the hotel and checked in the front desk gal seemed a bit distracted. Its not a uncommon issue with night staff members (I checked in around 10:30 pm). She quickly gave me my room key and off I went. When I arrived to the room (it was 109 if anyone cares) there was a very strong odor of mildew in the air. If a window could have been opened I would have gone that course and let the place air out, but since the windows are sealed shut no luck. This prompted a trip back to the front desk to inquire about switching rooms. To her credit the front desk staff member was very courteous and had me a different room key quickly so off I went. The next room (again on the first floor) greeted me with a strange sulfur smell, along with a buzzing microwave. Again with no way of airing the room out I took yet another trip back to the front desk. The front desk staff member didn't blink an eye or make me feel bad at all for turning down her 2nd room in fact she was a bit more attentive than when I first came in. We have a brief discussion about my feelings on having a 2nd floor room, (It didn't matter to me) So with 3rd key in hand I was off to the 2nd floor. I wish I could tell you how nice the 2nd floor rooms looked but, upon opening the door I could clearly see luggage and other peoples clothes scattered on the bed. Needless to say I did not go in. Well 3 strikes and I was a bit worried that I would end up having to deal with a stinky room. I took the long walk back to the front desk again and shared my finings with the staff. She was as surprised as I was about finding a person in that room since according to her computer it should have been empty. Needless to say this time she found a different room (115 if anyone is curious) on the first floor and personally walked me to it. I opened the door and was greeted by a clean non smelling room

This property was close to an early morning appointment and was picked primarily for this reason. It had a crisp clean lobby with a helpful staff. The bed was a bit of a disappointment but I am hard to please that way. Breakfast was available and was complete with eggs (a bit watery) sausage and biscuits and gravy. There was the usual fruit, pancakes and pastries as well. The Hotel was near many good restaurants which I thoroughly enjoyed shopping for.

My jacket was stolen. It was a nice jacket, cost around $75 (I think it was Dockers but not positive). It was the perfect weight. Other than the theft of my jacket everything was ok but that experience overshadowed the entire 3 day trip.

Horrible hotel and staff! So many problems with this hotel and staff that I had to write a list during our stay. The staff were consistently on the hotel computer in the lobby checking their email every time we came down from our room. Eva was one of the workers who consistently was checking her email. Eva was the person who was available when we went to complain. She consistently told us our problems would be solved, but she failed at this. Initially when we checked in we were given a handicap room. We are not handicap. The bathroom consistently flooded the first night all over the bathroom floor. Also, in our room upon entry a cockroach was actively climbing on the wall above the bed. The room smelled like mold. The bed frame middle piece broke off exposing nails above our heads. Beside our bed was what looked like poop from an animal or rodent. The towels had hair balls on two of them. The square pillows were very tiny…like sleeping on couch pillows. The next morning, we complained to Eva about our room. She said she would put us in another room. She then placed us on the third floor. The room was disorganized and half of the hallway smelled like paint and there was construction workers and construction actively going on in this floor. We went down to Eva, yet again and described our room. She said oh that room wasn't ready since they are cleaning the chairs…but yet she was the one who placed us in that “not ready room”. What! So she again placed us in another room on the construction floor. The third room had a toilet problem. Everytime you flushed the toilet water would spray on the seat behind you and spatter you. Awesome! I love being sprayed with toilet water! Horrible! The following day we complained to yet again Eva (front staff worker) and she said she would have maintance fix the toilet. Upon returning that evening the toilet was still not fixed. Two of the three nights we stayed at this hotel we received a phone call in the morning asking if we were checking out! Two times! The breakfast buffet was unsanitary every morning. The tables and counters were not clean. The food was disorganized and unappealing. I honestly cannot even call this hotel a hotel, it was more like a motel. During check-out process the front staff member asked how our stay was and I reported horrible. I asked if she had the manager name and phone number so I could complain. She said the manager was on site and I asked if I could speak with her. The front staff member knocked on manager door and apparently shared with her I would like to speak with her. After waiting 5 minutes, I told the front staff member I could not wait any longer and said I needed to go. I asked for the manager name: Jen Ghandi is what she reported the manager name to be. I know the manager could hear me as her door was near the front desk. If the manager cannot even come out to talk with the customer, there is a problem.

Terrible Stay and Way over priced. STAY AT THE HAMPTON DIRECTLY BEHIND THIS LOCATION. Smelly (third floor was under construction and I think they were using buckets for bathrooms), old and stained carpet and dated. Booked for 3 days, left after one (and went to the Hampton Inn). Prices much higher than the Hampton located directly behind it.

This hotel was beautiful not only to the eye but I felt safe with the gated parking. Check-in and out was a breeze and the breakfast bar was great. I didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel itself. Was there for a family funeral but, the location was perfect and it had easy off-easy on off IH-10. There were several eating places within 2 miles of the hotel.

Not the best part of town, but close to my step-daughter and son-in-law. The gated parking added a sense of safety. There was a little noise from the people next door, and a strange odor to the room. The shower was huge and the soaps offered above average. forgot a toothbrush, but front desk person gladly fixed that. The creamer curdled in my coffee and some breakfast items were not replaced as they ran out.

Went for a weekend away with hubby. I would recommend this hotel as a great option for families (rooms are large) and there is a great breakfast. Beds are comfortable. Not the best neighborhood so caution, but great if driving on the way to somewhere on I-10.

I have to say the experience was mostly very good. The location was convenient, rooms were clean and staff was friendly. However an early check out was a bit problematic since the lobby was locked up and no one was available to talk to. Not a big deal unless you really need to speak to someone.

Stayed at this location two nights, hotel is for the most part clean and comfortable. The staff is kind and friendly, assisting with whatever you might need. The bed was nice and comfortable as well. Parking is in a gated area and needs a room key to open! Only downside is that the last morning there was a very large tree roach in the shower!

Spent by the weekend with the kids for a local event. My hotel stay was excellent. The room was clean and had plenty of room for the kids and I. The breakfast was very satisfying with a good selection of choices. Overall I highly recommended this hotel.

I have stayed here for a week and was not very comfy. I arrived in the evening and the receptionist was bit floppy. When I told her that I want to check in she asked me: "really?". I guess that was already the first sign about the standard in this hotel. The room was old, dark and smelly. The whole hotel had a smell of bleach of something like it. I had the luck to have a room to the back side of the hotel while a colleague of mine had one to the highway side and struggled with the noise. Breakfast was very basic but I guess that is somewhat normal for this hotel category. My request for late check out was turned down rudely and I had to check out 11 am (by the way exactly 11 am I was called up in the room and was asked if I am going to check out. I would not recommend this hotel for business travel and there are more options in the close vicinity which offer a better standard/value for same money

the travel agent who booked this for us forgot to mention the hotel was right by a freeway (although the address is a bit of a give away!). it is also nowhere near the city centre. we initially were given a room on the motorway side but luckily we managed to get it changed after insisting a little! breakfast was ok although their fresh milk had bits in them. the best part of it was the self made waffle. the pool is lovely although not heated so a little cold for October but offers privacy. there is also secure Parking and a lot of restaurant around although if you don't have a car, this probably isn't the place for you.

I am a member of their rewards program, we showed up on Oct 15,2015 and without even looking up, the lady at the front desk claim to have only rooms with double queens and "thats it!" so we walked out and tried to make a reservation via 800 number and rewards program phone, and they told us there was plenty of king size bedrooms, they were ready to book one for us, but my spouse was afraid to go back in, and probably get our vehicle damaged, so we went next door to the HAMPTON INN and received EXCELLENT customer service, not to mention Cheaper in a brand new building! SO LONG Best Western rewards!

Usually stay at a Best Western. Asked for two suitcase stands; traveling as a couple with two suitcases; They said they didn't have any extras. The place wasn't full, judging by the nearly empty parking lot, so borrowing one from another room seems like a reasonable idea, but they said they couldn't do that. The evening desk clerk, upon our arrival seemed annoyed that we took her away from watching the movie on the TV in the lobby, to serve us. Asked for a second washcloth; two bath towels, two hand towels, but only one washcloth. The desk clerk even wrote a note, but upon returning to the room at the end of the day still only one washcloth. The breakfast is only OK; machine made coffee, one hot selection plus make-it-yourself waffles.

I have normally had good experiences with Best Westerns, however, I can't really recommend this one. I arrived there a few minutes after 11 P.M., having flown into Houston on a late flight. The lobby door was locked, but there's a small sign stating that the lobby closes at 11 P.M. and to please ring the doorbell for service. I rang the doorbell for service several times & waited about 10 minutes & no one came. I finally start calling the front desk. After several minutes of phone ringing, a hotel staff person comes out to help me. She helps me through the little window in a breezeway. Their computers were broken, so she could only give me a room on the first floor that she knew was open & clean. She couldn't print me a receipt or anything because everything was broken. She handed me my keycard and started to walk off, forgetting that she needed to unlock the door and actually let me into the hotel. She was never rude or anything, just seemed tired and forgetful. As I was walking to my room, she locked the lobby door behind me. I got into my room and it was almost midnight; I walked into the bathroom only to see huge, 3-inch dead cockroach on the bathroom floor! I just picked it up with some tissue and flushed it, because at least it's dead, right? I looked over and realized I am in a handicap accessible room, with a shower that has no way to keep the water from getting all over the rest of the bathroom floor. I then went out into the room and began to unpack; it was then that I found several more dead roaches throughout the room, but at this point, it was almost midnight, and I was just too exhausted to go back, find the lady & change rooms! There was also a terribly dank, musty smell in the room, but in my experiences in Houston, many hotels also smell this way. I was there for a business conference, so I figured I would go ahead and get the ironing board out and set it up for my clothes the next morning, but there was only a board and no iron. The next morning during breakfast, I was able to sign in, and ask for an iron, but I was in a hurry to head to my conference, so I did not want to spend the time trying to switch rooms.

wasn't working nor was it advertised it was none working. was told it was on website pool was not working. room was clean airconditioning good. bed was comfortable no channel guide. shower was good plenty of hot water and pressure.

I needed to find two hotel rooms for one night at around 7 PM on a weekday. I didn't have time to research my hotel options, but I've never had a bad experience at a Best Western, so I booked it. I made the right choice! The hotel was quiet, well-maintained, and the staff was helpful, including accommodating my special requests (e.g., rooms near each other, additional time on check-out day). I would stay here again.

we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights the front staff very unfriendly... I asked about the aquarium and she told me I could look on the Internet... I knew that... I was asking her!!! nasty hotel, tiles cracked, carpet dirty, mold in room bathroom... TERRIBLE breakfast they reuse everything every day... the bisquits were probably 4 days or older... to hard for the plastic fork... I saw them repack in plastic tubs for the next day... pool is falling apart had numerous holes in it that scrapes your feet... also wasp nest all over then a family that was in the pool told us they live 2 blocks away and come stay to party and swim... they had ice chest of booze and food and they called other family to come and go swimming there and they gave them there security card to get in the parking lot and go through gates THEN they let their son about 5 years old urinate 3 times on the side of the pool and my young granddaughter saw him each time this is not even a 1 star AND U KNOW IT'S BAD WHEN U CHECK OUT AND THEY DON'T ASK HOW WAS YOUR STAY!!!
