Best Western Plus Fresno Inn

Nice bones but has cleanliness and maintenance problems. See photos, it was gross. It was a good Location for where we were going, but the not-plus we stayed at on Chico was much better and cleaner. We loved the CDT cocina for lunch and PF Changs took really good care of my spouse. I will go back to CDT or Pf Changs, probably not to this hotel though unless they improve.

I have not had the opportunity or need to travel for a few years. I did not know what to expect. This was such a nice place and conveniently located. Every employee that I encountered was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is always clean, the stay is always quiet. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you forget your phone charger they have a loaner. At night very quiet for the guy visiting from a farm in a rural area. Lots of great places to eat close by. If you need to get somewhere fast the highway is just far enough away to not hear it, but close enough that you can get a coffee at Starbucks before you hit the speedway. When staying in Fresno on business this is my go to and I recommend to everyone.

This being my 5th BW this trip in 4 different states, I expected similar standard of accommodations. Front desk sets the guests' mindset at checkin. This gentleman did just that. His condescending attitude toward me was, though suttle, evident every turn. I returned to the desk to ask for "member" water (which i had found IN EVERY BW ROOM I had been in in the past 3 weeks!!! The answer I received was "you don't qualify, there's a water fountain over there or we have water for sale". I said excuse me, I've had water in the room at all my best western stays. His reply- not at this location. My room was a queen w/sofa bed. The sofa had a cover over it making to hard to get into. We couldnt open it so my travel companion decided to sleep on the couch. We looked in the closet (like our last location) for the bedding to no avail. We called the front desk to inquire where to find the bedding, to which he replied you can come get it here at the desk.

For the price we paid for this best western, we expected more … heck, we expected the average of what we've come to expect from best westerns. The street noise was bad. The light in the bathroom didn't work, the laundry facilities were out of order, the Nescafé coffee machine was broken. They only had vanilla yogurt. The poor women who manned the breakfast service was making individual cups of coffee in one of the tiny keurig type machines. The English muffin was so dry, it crumpled as it was cut. Not impressed and won't be back.

This is an old hotel and has been here for awhile. Best Western/Owner has made huge effort to update the hotel and has done a very good job. Breakfast was good, and they have the coffee machine which provides morning coffee, latte, mocha. I will repeat!

I stopped for the night to break up the trip from Yosemite to LA (with hindsight I would have driven a little further as Fresno is much closer to Yosemite). I wasn't after much - just a quiet place to rest my head for the night. The hotel was basic, but served its purpose. I was in a king room, which was a good size, divided between a bedroom and a sitting room. The bed was comfy, but the sofa was basic and had (what I hope was) a chocolate stain across it. The air con was noisy, but the room was relatively quiet otherwise. Breakfast was very basic, but enough to fuel me up and save a stop somewhere else - plus it was included in the $180 room rate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In the evening I went over to the Subway a couple of lots away to get a sandwich. The receptionist seemed surprised I didn't want to drive. At first I thought this was a British/US cultural thing (the British tend not to drive anywhere we can walk in 10 minutes or less!), but then I realised it may have been to do with safety. I may be being unfair, but the area surrounding the hotel looked shifty. I made it back alive and then realised where I remembered Fresno from: Louis Theroux's documentary 'A City Addicted to Crystal Meth'. Still, as I say, the hotel did its job. There's probably little better nearby and so I was happy to save my budget for other stopovers on my trip.

I called the day of my check in and informed the front desk I would be arriving late at night for my reservation to make sure they wouldn't give my room to any other guests since I was making a nearly 5 hour drive to the hotel. Upon arrival, I was told the hotel was now oversold and I wouldn't be getting the 2 queen room I requested, but instead was told I would have to be in a single queen bed room. We were moved the next day to a 2 queen room, however we were supposed to talk to a manager about some sort of compensation for the first night regarding the room since the hotel sold my reservation for the first night of a four night stay. We ask to speak to manager the next day and are informed management won't be in until Wednesday, our scheduled check out day. We ask to speak to a manager at check out and are informed that it would be a while to talk to them because they have an inspection with corporate. We are told there are two managers as well as a supervisor on site at this time. The supervisor then tells the front desk gentleman to get our information for management to call us by end of business day on the 7th of June. As of the 13th of June I had not received a call back. I called the front desk at about 0950am and was told a supervisor would be in around noon. I called back at 230pm and was told the supervisor never called nor showed up. I was then advised to call the Fresno Airport location and speak to a manager there. I called the airport location and was told the gm was not in, but that she would be in the following day at 10am. I the left a voicemail with my name and phone number as well as my dates of staying at the best western located off of East Shaw and a brief overview of the issues I have had. I have STILL not received any call, email, or any other communication from any manager from either location.

Breakfast was not great. Eggs were mushy and temperature wqs Not maintained. The pool was out of service- which was a huge disappointment for the 10 year old boys in town for a tournament. This is not what I paid for.

I had to stay overnight due to an unexpected bad storm, and did not feel safe driving on the country roads in such heavy rain, very high winds, hail and lightening and thundering. Found a very close BW and got to use my points on this spur-of-the-moment stay. The staff was so welcoming and friendly!! The room was wonderful, and warm! The breakfast was really good with so many choices to choose from. Very clean facility too! But I think the staff was the best!!!

Earnie and Jonathan were very personable and attentive. The place was clean and quiet and the close by to some shopping centers/restaurants. The family loved it. I recommend the king suite with sofa bed. Will return again soon.

Very friendly and helpful staff. At other hotels I usually have problems connecting my work computer to the internet and the connection her is perfect. Easy access to the freeway and very clean rooms.

My wife and I along with another couple went ti Fresno for the Fresno State Football game (one of the most exciting comeback that I've ever seen!). Our room was upgraded to a suite due to availability which is why I am a loyal BW Rewards member. Great location, amenities, and rooms.

Very good overall, great location. Clean rooms and well appointed. Breakfast needs improvement especially the eggs, would like to see sausages offered. The internet is not secured, should upgrade. Across from dining and Shopping Mall.

Whenever I am in town on business, this is where I stay. Upon arrival the staff are very nice and professional the coffee and tea are close by. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The King bed is separated by French doors with its own TV. The entry of the room has a sitting area with desk and swivel TV on the wall. Breakfast is Good with a variety of things to eat, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage. Fruit and cereals. You can pay more but can't get better somewhere else.

It is not on the main street, so you might have a little difficulty finding it. Room was very clean and with nice amenities. Did not care for pillows as they were very small, maybe 20" X 20", and very soft. I prefer longer, firmer pillows. Breakfast was very basic. All staff was very pleasant and professional. Very reasonably priced.

Stayed at the Fresno Inn while we dropped our son off for his freshman year at Fresno State. Location is good proximity to the University. Parking is minimal and difficult, especially with a trailer. Staff was excellent and attentive.

No complaints about the hotel itself, pleasant stay in comfortable room, friendly front desk staff. Breakfast itself was o.k., but the breakfast room attendant must have swallowed a bunch of sour pickles! She was very angry and unhelpful, banging doors shut with her feet, slamming stuff noisily. Breakfast is from 7 - 9:30, we had not finished eating at a few minutes before 9:30 and were told she‘d now have to shut the door and dim the lights , I protested and she reluctantly agreed to keep the lights on, forcefully began putting all chairs onto the tables (I was just waiting for her to pick us up and turn us upside down !!) She wore no name tag and refused to state her name - the apologetic front desk said it was Ellie. We left with a sour taste and will not come back to this Best Western Hotel.

I have stayed at this property several times in the last 9 months for business trips while in Fresno and it is well maintained, clean and the staff are on their game. This hotel is also located back off of the main street and is quiet at night. A big bonus is that it is located very close to a large mall that has many types of restaurants for anyone's taste in food. I highly recommend this hotel

Better than most best westerns I have stayed in. Very clean and updated. The breakfast is not very good. The bacon is precooked, limp and almost transparent. I would like to see more than powdered eggs, bacon and a waffle for a “complete hot breakfast”. I've definitely had better breakfasts at other best westerns. If you are going to offer coffee and water in the lobby, if should be replenished throughout the day. Water ran out mid day and wasn't replaced until well into the breakfast time. Towels ran out in the fitness room on Friday and as of Sunday still had not been replenished

The room is large with two beds, clean room and bathroom, I used my AAA card for discount price. Only there for one short night but I left my Ipad keyboard in my room when I checked out, later that day I called to see if they had my keyboard and they said the housekeeping had turn-in my keyboard to the front desk and the manger called me to make arrangement to send me my keyboard. great hotel

Always friendly and professional. Easy check-in and check-out. Very comfortable accommodation's. Staff is helpful and courteous. Centralize location to freeway, quality restaurants and other needed services.

The staff was friendly and I was able to check into my room quickly. I was happy with the size of the room, the storage (large closet, plenty of drawers) and the nice, clean bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and I was able to adjust the room temperature for restful sleeping. At breakfast, there were plenty of choices (both hot and cold items) and everything I had tasted good. This hotel is located just off busy Shaw Ave., with many options for dining, shopping and gas. However, my room was not noisy at all. I would be happy to stay at the Best Western Fresno Inn on future trips.

We stayed at this property on our way back to British Columbia and was unexpectedly surprised that we were given a junior suite. Comfortable bed and furnishing expected in a Plus facility. We chose this as it is tucked away off the street but did find that there was quite bit fit road noise. Good breakfast and staff very attentive.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. Upon check-in, my husband was told we could have a noon check-out. We requested the late check out as we checked in at 3 AM because we had to come to Fresno for a family emergency. Once it was morning around 10 AM, I called reception to see if I could request a check-out time later than noon. The manager, whose name is Jonathan, answered the phone. I asked him if I could check out at 12:30, and he changed my check-out time and told me that the latest he could do is 11:30. I explained to him that during a pawn check-in, I was told that I had a check-out time of noon. He explained that the night audit does not have the authority to honor any late checkouts. I completely understand the policy; however, the communication was very poor. Regardless of what power each member has, The time of check out that we were confirmed should be honored as it was already established. Moreover, I understand that perhaps 12:30 PM was unavailable, but noon was already confirmed to us; therefore, that should've been honored. The manager was very arrogant as he did not want to understand or even admit to the miscommunication between the employees. I definitely will not be coming here again as Jonathan's manager was highly unprofessional. I do not recommend this hotel to anybody who acknowledges or expects decent customer service as the employee does not have any communication correctly done.

after three requests prior to arrival and doing on line check in, they couldn't provide us with a downstairs room, so being a Diamond Select member was given an upgrade to a suite, which wasn't. first the room was tiny-like half a room, hard to navigate around, then one TV was not plugged in, had to move dresser and plug it in myself, only two towels for three people and no bedding for pull out. we had to go downstairs from our third floor room to get towels! not recognized as Rewards member checking in or out, very disappointing stay. we cancelled our second night and went elsewhere, maybe thee stars is two too many. by the way, lobby shot is with a wide angle lens!, this place was small!

We loved our stay. Nice location which had sooo many different food options nearby and a shopping mall around the corner. The breakfast had a great selection and multiple options. The rooms were not only clean but new and up to date. Staff was pleasant and kind. Check in and check out was a smooth process, front desk was super sweet and welcoming!

The location is just across from the mall. Easy access from highway 41. The front desk staff is nice. Variety of options for breakfast. The room is clean and the interior is very welcoming. The price is reasonable. The Kings Canyon and Sequoia parks are within 1 hour while Yosemite is within 2 hours

This hotel is nice with very nice people in staff. It is at a good location with lots of restaurants and shopping in close proximity It does lack personal to help with luggage and clean your room on a daily basis.

Only three stars for this property. Room had a full trash can when we arrived. That was the first thing. Then the breakfast was not up to par with other Best Westerns I have stayed in. The meat/protein offerings were lacking both in variety and details to cooking.

the staff at this hotel are very helpful and go out of their way to help our anyway they can. the cook, manager, and the front desk were very personable. The cook expalined the ingredients and the source of the food so we felt more comfortable with our breakfasts.

Ensure your payment is made with an official CC and not a CashApp card. They'll allow you to reserve it using a CashApp card, but not allow you to pay the final bill with it. This information was presented upon check-in when they denied using my CashApp card. I explained to them that it was the same card they approved for the reservations. But the clerk showed me a document stating that they couldn't accept that form of payment for the bill, only for reservations; which was not in the reservation confirmation documentation.

In the last two months, BW Fresno Inn finally restored eggs, protein, and waffles to the breakfast area, although the amount served is not commensurate with the number of guests. I have been staying here a number of times each year for over 8 years. Carpets/flooring in common areas have been replaced in the past two years, but not in the rooms. Rooms are in desperate need of updating -- microwave ovens don't always work properly, and the tiny refrigerators are showing their age as well. Chairs and sofa beds are in need of replacement . . . one sofa bed in a recent stay was actually outfitted with a one-piece cover -- I shudder to think of what it was hiding underneath. Housekeeping remains a problem here, as in many hotels. Daily room service is a thing of the past unless you ask for it specifically. A notice at check-in says rooms will be serviced every third day of a longer stay, but this is not true. On the day following my fourth of five nights this most recent stay, housekeeping entered my room, collected the bath towel, floor towel, and washcloth I had used the previous four days but did not replace them. They also did not empty the trash baskets. Just not sure how much management cares about the overall level of service guests are receiving. I used to regard this "Plus" property as a solid 2.5-3 Stars, but it barely rates a 2 these days (although it is still above average compared to a couple of other BW "Plus" properties I stayed in this year in Mishawaka, Indiana and Sugar Land, TX that did not rate very well in my opinion).

Do not stay here. The front desk clerk told me that my adult son and his service dog could not stay at this hotel due to the service dog not having a certificate. I booked my room on the Best Western website and do not see anywhere that it states my son needed to have a certificate for his service animal. I told the front desk clerk that it is against the ADA. He did not care, but he was just doing as he was told by his superior. The manager of this hotel did not speak with me. The Americans with Disabilities Act is a Federal Law.

Easy check in, friendly staff, good breakfast, close to restaurants, will be back to stay again with any crew members. Security seams to be enough to keep out trucks safe & secure along with plenty of lighting

This Hotel was located near restaurants & shopping. The rooms were very spacious & clean. The A.C. worked great. The staff were so kind. The breakfast was decent considering covid restrictions. There was also a small pool to swim in. This by far was the cleanest Best Western my family has ever stayed at.

The front desk attendant was rude. The room was dirty. There was black mold on bathroom walls. I didn't receive my upfront deposit yet nor gift cards. Very unpleased with service at this hotel location.

I'm staying at the hotel Best Western Hotel plus Fresno inn - Fresno- CA and my suitcase has disappeared from the car in the hotel parking lot. I asked the hotel to help me find my suitcase and they didn't do anything! the hotel said it's not their problem! i am staying at the hotel and parked at the hotel! this is totally unfair!! I am without my suitcase and without assistance only the hotel!!!

After more than a year of COVID-induced departure from normal operations, this property is slowly beginning to return to a more normal routine. But still lacking in a number of ways. It was almost 10 months before they figured out how to provide some breakfast items other than "Grab n Go" bags. Bath towels have been reduced from three to two upon check in, closets have only three or four hangers, and room service only happens, maybe, every three days, even when you hang the "Make Up Room" tag on the door. Yet with all these reductions in service, there has been no change in the price of rooms. I've been staying at this location a number of times per year since 2013. Things used to be much better in the past.

I stay at this hotel regularly as I have older relatives in Fresno. The staff members are really friendly and welcoming. Smallish property with one electric car charging station that is almost always available. Most rooms have a separate sitting area with a sofa bed. Great for kids! High quality personal amenities, mini-fridge and coffeemaker (not Keurig). Comfortable bedding. Good selection for grab & go COVID breakfast: oatmeal packets, individually wrapped muffins, mini water bottles, mini yogurt, microwaveable breakfast burrito, fresh fruit, individual cereal bowls, milk, coffee, tea. Some street noise but doesn't bother me. I always look forward to staying here!

I have been staying at this hotel frequently since 2013. Although much needed renovation has been taking place here over the past several months -- lobby floor replaced with tile, new carpeting in hallways, new exterior paint -- the level of service inside the hotel has declined markedly since the middle of March 2020. No more breakfast (which was already beginning to decline in quality again), fitness room closed, no housekeeping on a daily basis until you AFTER you check out. Pathetic. Worst of all, the rates have not declined with the decline in service and amenities. I am here for four or more nights almost every month when I am at work in my Fresno office down the street (my company pays the bill, otherwise I would consider staying elsewhere).

The hide a bed mattress was so dirty we could not use it. The hotel told us they had no additional ones to exchange with. We were extremely upset with this hotel as we use Best Western a lot and have usually had a fabulous experience with them

I'm a Platinum Best Western Rewards member as well as Gold member of Hotels.com since 2015. The staff working were very friendly and professional including the maintenance man. I won't give 5 stars based on the fact that the room was 85° when I walked in and it took 8 hours to drop it to 75°. The AC isn't near the beds like other hotels but instead more towards the corner with air flow hitting the TV area. I noticed the TV and mini refrigerator were not working so the maintenance man eventually brought me a new fridge and fixed a loose cord in the rear of the TV. The rooms are a bit dated and the sink sits outside the restroom. Beds were more on the firm side but comfortable even though they lightly squeaked. Not a fan of the tiny square pillows that pancake which all Best Western's use. The laundry room on the third floor is very convenient and there are vending machines (cash only). I love the layout of the halls! Small pool outside the entrance was open. Parking lot is a bit small and I don't recommend parking behind the hotel in the separate detached lot near the court. This was just a 2 night stay.

We were doing a cross country move and needed to stop for the night. The area was a bit sketchy and we were nervous about the location. I am so glad that we found this place! It was very clean and the staff was so nice! The building seemed to be in very good repair.

This is a great hotel to stay in while on the road. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet and clean and the staff is accommodating. The price was under a hundred dollars. We are Platinum members so that may have effected the price. The WIFI works well. We didn't use the pool or hot tub do to Covid but everything looked clean and in working order. The location was perfect. Easy access to the highway.

Went to Fresno State baseball games and stayed the weekend here. The staff was extremely friendly!! There were decent breakfast options. Walking distance to Starbucks. We're not familiar with the area but we felt safe. It was clean and was perfect for what we needed.

I only try to stay at Best Western Hotels, must say the Fresno Inn was probably one of the top BW hotels I have stayed. Hotel was spotless clean everywhere, the staff and manager where very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was excellent and the dinning area spotless clean. FIVE STARS for this hotel wish all BW could be this great.

Liked our room, second floor (quiet location.) A great breakfast with lots of variety to choose from! Near freeway 41 entrance. Across from a mall with a Macy's. Recommend the second or third floor. They also have security cameras.

Sometimes when I read "hotel has been recently renovated" I encounter a painted-over facade. But not in this case. The refurbishing was excellent and spotless! Hard to see any difference from a brand-new facility.

We were in Fresno for the CIF cross country state championships. The race is held at beautiful Woodward Park and this hotel is conveniently located not far from the park and Hwy 41. The hotel is still undergoing refurbishment (as it was during our stay in early October). So many of the common areas are without permanent flooring. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is super-friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is generous (our friends were surprised because so often other hotels offer just a continental style breakfast); and the staff in charge of the breakfast room was attentive and friendly. Once the remodeling and improvements are complete, I'm sure this hotel will earn 5 stars.

This location was a little more difficult to find than another Best Western I stayed at this particular weekend, but the location was close to the WBA Championships Competition, which was fantastic because by the time I arrived Sunday night I was exhausted. They didn't have a room available for all three nights we were going to be in town, but because I wanted to try them out: I booked my last night in town here. Ernie at the front desk was quick, efficient, and friendly. I would like to give him a special kudos for making the check-in process after a long day quick and painless. There was construction/remodeling going on at the hotel, as noted when I made my reservation, but there were also signs at the check-in desk, at the pool area, and at the elevator area. The breakfast was superb, and was actually superior to the breakfast available at the other Best Western I stayed at during this three day trip. The hot container housing the scrambled eggs was not half-full of water (I appreciated that). The oatmeal bar was wonderful and the build-your-own breakfast sandwich bar was also nice. The breakfast room attendant was friendly and attentive while letting guests wake up gradually. The tv's were at a level where they could be heard but did not interfere with normal conversation volume. Getting to chat with parents of band students from all over the state over breakfast was nice. When I checked out Monday morning Selena at the front desk and the manager on duty were very friendly (although I didn't catch the manager's name). I will definitely be returning to this property in the future. Pros: • Lower price than other hotels in the are • Great Staff/Service - every single person on their staff was nice (this has not been the case with any other hotel I've stayed at in the past 12 months, Best Western or otherwise) Cons: • Location was a little difficult to find (GPS got me there just fine) Possible con: • Construction is going on. I didn't care about the halls being stripped down to concrete flooring but some people might. If you do: wait until they finish, but *definitely* stay here if you get a chance.

I stayed in Room 210 and while the room was fine, there was a lot of street noise given its location facing E Shaw Ave and the busy nature of the road. Also, there were lots of doors slamming, including late at night. I think these were for the stairwell, which was very close to this room. Next time I'd get a room far away from the elevator and not facing the road. The hotel is in a very odd location, and several people had trouble finding it. It's tucked away off the main road behind an abandoned building that's all fenced in. Complimentary continental breakfast was filling. It's undergoing refurbishment right now so I got a welcome gift of bottled water and snacks. The small pool is part of the renovations.

We've stayed here numerous times in the past. Clean facility with a decent free breakfast. Good rate for the area. THey are currently in a state of replacing all of the flooring andminor remodel which limits the accessability to entrances but overall a good stay. The pool and spa were both empty but I'm not sure as to why.

Recently we joined a renaissance reenactment quild. We were in Fresno for a faire. It was so nice to know we were coming g back to a HOT shower and comfortable bed. This is not always the story. Even though the hotel is undergoing redecorating and the front lobby is minus carpet , the young man at the front desk was so helpful and charming the lobby didn't bother us.

The highlight of my stay was the nice young lady who staffed the morning breakfast area. She was helpful and kind. The food selections were great as well. While the lobby was being renovated, the staff made up for this.

We showed up in Fresno for a family emergency and walked into this hotel with no reservation at 7pm on a Saturday night. They had a double-queen room open and even gave us the corporate rate. The room was immaculate and smelled wonderful. We stayed 3 nights (no problem extending a night after originally reserving only 2 nights), but weren't in the room much. This hotel is within a mile or so of St. Agnes Medical Center, so it was perfect for us. Every evening we came back from the hospital to a super-clean and fresh-smelling room. Very thankful for that. There is breakfast included, which is average. The breakfast area is pretty small. At the time of our visit the rooms had been refurbished, but the lobby and hallways were in-process. Pretty stinky, but not terrible.Thankfully the smell didn't get into the room. WiFi was good. We didn't use the small outdoor pool or fitness center. I would stay here again. They had fresh cookies in the evenings, but get them close to 7pm-ish or they will be gone.

Very convenient location, close to shopping and dining. Excellent service and very friendly staff. Nice and large room, clean, quiet public areas. Breafkast very basic. Took a little to locate entrance from Shaw Ave., but once you know where to turn and park, there is plenty of parking in front of the entrance.

Fresno is an absolutely depressing town and this hotel isn't much less. But considering the price and the condition of the room it's a good place if you need to stop over in Fresno for a night. The room was pretty big and had a nice big bed. The bathroom is fine too. There was no save in the room which is a bit strange. It's also very noisy, you hear people in the room above and next to you walking and slamming doors (there were a lot of kids while we were there running around). Breakfast was included, it's okay since there was coffee, bagels and some other stuff.

Large room and quiet as away form Shaw avenue traffic. A little problem to locate unless heading west on Shaw as it is behind vacant bank building and Men's Warehouse so not visible from street.Sign is hard to spot going east toward Clovis.Staff was excellent in taking care of special needs to freeze container for us for medical equipment for early morning flight and also early morning 4AM check out.

We were in Fresno for the Clovis invitational cross country meet and needed a room located close to the venue, as our granddaughter's race started at 7:15 AM. All staff were friendly and helpful. They even served the complimentary breakfast an hour earlier than usual, as there was at least one team staying there. The hotel was in the process of having new carpet installed and some upholstery renovated, but everything was still clean and tidy. Our room faced busy Shaw Ave, so we did have quite a bit of road noise all night, but no hotel is noise-free. I would definitely stay there again if we have occasion to be overnight in Fresno.

I asked for two queens , got one king and a fold out couch. When my roommate asked for blankets desk clerk snapped at her. Hour later ( we were asleep ) they Rang the phone telling us they had the blankets . We said never mind. In the morning the employees families were having breakfast with the guests with kids screaming and yelling. Won't stay at that Best Western Again.

I stay in this hotel when I am in Fresno (unless they are booked which happens a lot) the staff is awesome the rooms are great! It's close to everything! They do need to unpair the carpet in the hallways but other than that it's a great place to stay!

I am not picky when it comes to hotels, but this hotel was clean, in a great location for the Save Mart Center and was the perfect place to sleep after the Luke Bryan show! I would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Fresno!

Was a perfect place for an overnight on the way to Yosamite National Park. Had a nice swimming pool and better than average breakfast. Location was also quite convenient although we had a car. Definitely recommended.

My family flew out of the Airport on a Friday, 07/19 and had to leave our car keys with the front desk staff because my auto transport was delayed. The staff was so nice and understanding, they held onto my keys for 10 business days until the auto transport finally picked it up! The pool was excellent and the beds were comfortable. The customer service factor alone would make me recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone in the central valley!

The Best Western Plus in Fresno near the University, was nicer than the high-end hotel I stayed at in San Diego! It is clean and up-to-date. It offers breakfast (the coffee could definitely be better!) We like that the sink is outside of the bathroom, so that guests may get ready in the morning while others are showering. We will return this location!

Excellent clean room and a good breakfast. Hotel in a quiet area with plenty of parking space. Very friendly helpful staff. Did not try the outdoor pool which was not very big. Hotel is in a good location just off highway 41.

Clean, easy to find, reasonable price and quiet rooms. Needed a room last minute and found this BW on Trip Advisor. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. Breakfast was included - basic fare but adequate. Only negative was the pool was more like a wading pool.

I had to book a room at the last minute and this hotel had decent reviews, availability and a great price. After I booked online, they called and confirmed, which is a nice gesture. Check in was quick and easy, and they offered some chocolate chip cookies to take to our room with us! The room was clean and spacious. My only negative comment would be the view. It overlooked an abandoned parking lot that served as a dump! I think some homeless people may live back there, although I didn't actually see anyone, just a lot of garbage. Luckily, it was night and we just closed the blinds. The busy street nearby was a bit noisy, but once the air conditioner kicked on, it covered the traffic noise. The free breakfast was the basic stuff (eggs, muffins, toast, waffles, juice, coffee).

Stayed for 1 night in a king room. Room was a generous size & everything was super clean. Check in & out was very smooth. Wifi worked great & even downloaded a tv show with no issues. I did a load of laundry which was $3 for both washer & dryer which I thought was reasonable. I was grateful they had laundry as we'd been travelling for 10 days & still had 5 to go. Pool was nice & clean. All the workers we interacted with seemed friendly too. Breakfast looked good; I just grabbed 2 pieces of fruit. I would stay here again if in the area!

When you stay Best Western, be sure it's in a "plus" or better. This is a good example of a clean and well-appointed hotel. Nice room with a couch and a Keurig. It was also very quiet, which I appreciated after a long day on the road. Hotel staff was pleasant. The only downside was the free breakfast. I shouldn't complain, but those egg roll-overs are tasteless and the breakfast area is quite small and cramped. I'd rather have an Egg McMuffin. Dining was within waking distance.

Our room was very carefully decorated and well appointed, with all the usual amenities. The included breakfast had something for everybody and was nicely presented. There are several restaurants close by. We would recommend this property.

I needed a room for one night while traveling to a funeral of a family member from SoCal to NorCal. Decided to give this place a try given the positive reviews. Mistake! The young lady at check in was very pleasant and nice. She was the best part of the entire experience. Went to my room and smelled musty and gross. Decided to stick it out hoping it'd go away. Then I went into the restroom and there was a pubic hair on the toilet seat. Then as I was wiping everything down with Clorox wipes, noticed there was pubic hair in the sink. To top it all off, babies were crying and just about all night, it sounded like someone was rearranging furniture above me. The room shook from whomever was staying above me. When I checked out, when asked, I described the things I experienced and all the lady said was “oh”. No apologies, no offer to make it right. I will not be staying here again.

I have stayed here a couple times now and the staff is always very helpful. The front desk greets you with a smile. The breakfast is fantastic. They do a great job making sure there is always enough food out, you never have to wait. The woman working the breakfast is very friendly.

I checked into my immaculate spacious room at the Best Western. The service was very good. I received my check in gift as a gold member, and I was very happy with the breakfast. Waffles, oatmeal, eggs, cereal, fruit, etc. were on the menu. I received help with directions, and even with a lost item that I called about. I will be staying at this hotel regularly.

Picked this hotel in Fresno after a six hour drive on our way from San Diego to Yosemite. What a great find. The check in staff were friendly and helpful. We walked to BJs down the road in the shopping mall and had a nice dinner meal. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

I always stay at the Fresno Inn, Close to everything I Need. I have to travel to Fresno every three week s and this is the hotel I prefer. Everyone is very friendly, the breakfast is good, and it is easy to get to, right off the 41 freeway..

Our group was in town for a convention in early March 2019 and needed to book 20 rooms, ranging from Double Queen to King rooms. We worked with Noy, General Manager, and she was simply fantastic! Our management team were impressed with Noy's expediency and professionalism in addressing our lodging requests and concerns. All of our requests and accommodations were met and our stay exceeded expectations. The rooms and facility were clean and everyone had a restful night's sleep during our 3 night stay at the hotel. Would return and recommend to others.

Pros - has a bar attached to it for late-night snacking or drinking, front desk has a concession. Large outdoor pool which was fairly clean, rooms were quite large, staff was very friendly, pizza joint in same parking lot Cons - bed wasn't overly comfortable, housekeeping was knocking on doors at 8:30 a.m. so we kind of felt rush to get out of there and not sleep, quite expensive. Probably wouldn't stay here again just from the cost alone I feel like we could have gotten nicer hotel for the cost.

Served our purpose and budget for a visit to Fresno State. Smaller and more modest than other BW Pluses we'e stayed at, but quiet and the desk and breakfast staff were very kind. The swimming pool is quite small and smack next to the front entrance - adequate for young or enthusiastic children, perhaps. Very convenient commercial district.

We received a complimentary upgrade because of our Best Western membership. Nice large room. Tv had delayed response when trying to use the remote. Took forever to find and get to something to watch. Breakfast was good, but the dining area was small. Great location. Mostly quiet. There was some drag racing type noise the first night, but it didn't keep us awake. I would definitely stay here again.

Found myself staying in Fresno for a few days, and this property was only available - what a great choice! Located east of the center of Fresno, near the state university and easily accessible just off 41 Highway. The property is off the main street of Shaw, but very quiet and clean. Many good restaurants and stores in every direction, including street locations and shopping centers. hotel is three floors, with interior corridors and accessed through main lobby or side doors that are always locked and use guest card for entry. The lobby is well appointed, with complimentary newspapers and a business center. There is a large breakfast area just off lobby as well, with a great variety of choices for the mornings. A clean and spacious guest laundry room and a workout room complete the traveler's needs. The guest rooms are large and clean (well, mostly! - more later) and the decor is really nice. The baths are large as well, as are the counter areas. The room had the standard work table, closet with iron, a flat screen TV and a fridge and micro, along with complimentary coffee station. Very clean, except some old soap stains on the interior shower curtain. But this was the only issue I had, so it's a momentary distraction at worst. I would recommend this property for anyone staying in Fresno area, and I look forward to my next visit as well.

This is a very budget friendly hotel near walking distance to some great restaurants and shopping. Breakfast bar was always stocked and warm. One of the better decorated Best Western's I have stayed at and I frequent Best Western often.

Rooms were spacious. Hotel was clean. Staff was really friendly. Breakfast had many items to choose from including hot items such as sausage, waffles, and scrambled eggs with toppings like shredded cheese, salsa and green onions. Hotel located in a good part of town near one of the nice malls. Price was excellent for what you get.

Couldnt of been more pleased with the overall appearance of the hotel. The staff made you feel right at home, any issues i had guest services took care of it immediately. The only thing this hotel was missing was a jacuzzi tub and free massage.

I have family in Fresno so we come visit Fresno from the San Francisco Bay Area every few months. This past month, we were caregiving so I've stayed here for a total of 5 days in the past 2 weeks. I am a big fan of the hotel! Not large, the hotel has an intimate feel and is definitely affordable. The hotel staff members are super friendly and helpful. I unexpectedly had to print out a document from my email so the complimentary business center in the lobby was a lifesaver. The full, hot breakfast was very satisfying and included waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, oatmeal. The rooms look new and are well-appointed. I loved the gym facilities which is twice as bad as those found in larger properties and all the machines were in good, working condition. The hotel is in a cul-de-sac off busy streets and very quiet. The parking lot includes a Tesla charging station and can be reserved by guests. I look forward to my next stay at this hotel!

Above average hotel at this price point. Clean and modern with easy access from CA41 in a nicer part of Fresno. Several nice restaurants and shopping areas within easy driving distance. Breakfast was average selection for BW but hot items were well prepared.

We had the privilege of staying at the BW in Fresno and the experience was over the top. What makes the difference here is the staff were some of the best we have encountered on our 4 week trip. They made our stay very relaxing and it was like being at home.

Appreciate the clean rooms, helpful staff, and the rewards program. It pays to stay at BW often, so you can eventually redeem the points for a free stay. The hot breakfast is convenient and is good. Will return again.

Very nice hotel with caring staff. Would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in its price range. For once, the Wi-Fi internet connection at a hotel was really good - I had five bars the entire time during our stay. Breakfast was really good -- they had BACON!

After a couple of years of spotty performance at breakfast, this last week's stay was an improvement. Cable TV channels have been reduced, and "high speed internet" is inconsistent and end of hall rooms at the west end barely have connectivity most days/nights. Hotel interior is about due for a makeover.

This hotel does not provide shuttle service from/to the airport, so I took Lyft, which is very convenient as well. It's no more than a 20 minute drive. The staff was great, friendly and willing to help. Hot breakfast is available in the morning. The room is clean and spacy, but you can hear the snoring of you neighbors at night, the slamming of doors and footsteps etc. Anyways, I had a pleasant stay.

We stayed here on our way to Arizona; the room was clean, the bed comfy, the staff pleasant, and we appreciated the hot eggs and bacon breakfast. Off the highway location so road noise was not a problem.

October 23-24 2018 Fresno State Football Homecoming game. The wife and I stayed at the Best Western Plus. Hotel is just down the street from the stadium. Fashion Fair Mall is across the street. Hotel was very clean and a very friendly and accommodating staff. Room was very nice, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, comfortable couch with desk and chair in the room. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker with a very nice television for the World Series game. Good value for the room. We did not have the breakfast there. It smelled great. And there is coffee in the lobby. Oh yes and the evening cookies smelled great and tasted even better. Do not be late for one or they will be gone. Fresno State won their game agains Hawaii 50-20. Convenient for the game and shopping with lots of restaurants in the area. Great stay.

We were happy with everything. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was good and the room was very comfortable. We had a king bed and a couch, the perfect combination for us. It was very quiet at night. Another bonus is that the mall and restaurants are just across the street.

We tried to check in on Saturday, October 6th around 4:50 pm. There were 2 couples ahead of us, and the gal at the front desk had to make phone calls and spend a lot of time speaking with the couple (don't know what the issue was). Then, before couple #2 was helped, she took a phone call. The person on the other end was told they were contacting the wrong property, and this property had nothing to do with them. She continued to interact with them, and I heard her say something about group reservations. She should learn how to get off the phone when she has people waiting. We finally had to leave (after 20 minutes without getting to the check in desk), and check in later. Everything else at the hotel was fine, though I only saw someone at the front desk when we were checking out..

Going to our destination, and returning, we stayed at the BW Plus Fresno and we were not only surprised but delighted as well. The room was larger than expected and the king size bed was a dream come true. And conveniently located just across the street from a recently renovated mall..

We have stayed at this hotel before and liked well enough to return for another visit. Very well maintained with great access to local activities. Nice breakfast items and all items keep fresh and tasty. Special thanks to Deanna for the help fixing my administrative error. Always nice to have someone who goes beyond to ensure their customers are satisfied and happy. Thanks and will stay again when we return to the area.

Easy access to CA41, food, and shopping. Good parking facility for large vehicles and trailers, If you need full handicap access room, reserve early. I will definately stay here on my next trip to Fresno.

I,enjoyed staying here on my recent business trip. Room was excellent. From the bed to the bathroom. Could not hear the person or the tv next to me in the other room which is always nice. There are other hotel chains I've stayed at in the past, I prefer the Best Western, for a couple reason one I feel more at home when I stay there, and two the price is more to my liking.

Some friends and I stayed here as we were in town to do a half marathon. Johnathan checked us in and was so friendly and professional. He went out of his way to make us feel at home. The hotel is very clean and quiet. We asked for a one hour late checkout due to the run and had no issues getting it for no additional cost. Although we had to leave for the run prior to the breakfast time, we were able to get coffee and a snack. The hotel is close to the mall and multiple restaurants. Very reasonable prices as well.

I was in town for a wedding and even though I stayed for just one night, they made me feel welcome, the hotel personnel was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast the following morning was very good and there was plenty of food for everybody. I highly recommend this Best Western in Fresno.

Once again another fantastic stay. This Best Western Plus is our family favorite hotel in Fresno. The staff goes out of there way to make your stay comfortable. The day we checked in it was 105 degrees outside, the lemon water the staff offered was greatly appreciated. Whenever you are in Fresno CA this is the place to stay.

This is the second time I have stayed at this Best Western. Rooms are nice, pool is nice, and the customer service is great! Jonathan was as helpful as they come! We travel a lot for sports so well be back!

Very nice clean hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Vanessa was one of the best front desk people. She recommended a very good Mexican food restaurant "Toledos". Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Will stay here again when in the area.

The hotel could use some upgrades for being a newer hotel and is a little expensive. I would rate it higher if it wasnt as expensive. The door was open to the room when we arrived and there was a dirty bar of soap in the shower. The bed seemed a little smaller and wasnt super comfortable but not to bad. The pillow could defiently use some help too. If this was about $40 cheaper I would give it about a 3.5 rating

We're on our second trip across the United States and have had the opportunity to stay at many hotels. Only a handful of those hotels would be good referrals for our friends. BWPlus Fresno is one we would definitely return to, and suggest to family and friends. The staff was excellent, the location was easy to access from the Interstate, breakfast was well-balanced and served by a friendly staff, and our room was clean with a super-comfy bed. Enough said.

Beds were good... comparable to tbis hotel's competition. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Toilet/shower were separate from sink area, and this fit our family needs well. Outdoor pool was a bit small, and located just off the front door and parking lot. Staff was very helpful with all our questions and always friendly. Breakfast had good variety (standard for this chain), and was kept very clean and well-stocked.

We lived in Fresno for many years and knew the area well. We were returning for a special celebration andneeded a place to stay. We knew the area and was quite doubtful how it might turn out. To our surprise, the facility was totally remodeled and like new. It was also away from the very busy Shaw Avenue traffic and sleep was not disturbed by any of the heavy Saturday night traffic. The hotel is very clean and rooms were very comfortable including the bed. We have stayed at many Best Westerns and this one has to be on the top of the list. Of course, we always stay at Best Western because their free breakfast is always more than adequate.

Arrived at 9 pm on a Monday night. Parking lot was over flowing and had to park in the lot of the grocery store next door. Ask the front desk about this and they said that was the only place to park. Then the elevator quit.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. We even had our dog with us and had been traveling since 4 am so getting to our room and finding the a/c worked great, and the beds were perfect was such a relief. Place is clean, staff is polite and helpful. Place is booked up for a Wednesday night but the room is quiet You get HBO, and cable and check out is 12 noon so guess whose sleeping in tomorrow. ????

I recently stayed here on a business trip. While the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself clean and comfortable, the area is slightly sketchy. It's on a very busy street (Shaw) but behind an abandoned building (that I think used to be a bank), close to Hustler strip club and a liquor store. There were transients hanging out in the parking lot next door, drinking and doing ? (Pictures I posted are looking outside my hotel room window). It's not a nice location in Fresno. I saw that there were cameras and I thought well at least they are keeping an eye on the parking lot for safety but then I saw a sign posted that said the cameras were for the hotels “assets”. Gee thanks for looking out for your guests. But it was as close to a meeting that I had to be at the next day and it's the only hotel in Fresno that I could find with availability that wasn't outrageously expensive (on a Tuesday night what's going on in Fresno to justify such high rates?!). Also the mall with restaurants is right across the street (but DO NOT walk, drive). All in all, it's ok for one night but if I could have stayed somewhere else I would have.

Very helpful with a last minute reservation.They upgraded us to a king suite from a queen regular room. Nice clean room with lots of plug ins. We didn't get to take advantage of the breakfast because we decided to sleep in.

An excellent choice of hotel stay and received excellent service including a wonderful breakfast. The location provided easy access to restaurants and shopping, as well as major travel routes. The airport is located within ten miles.

Decent experience at this Best Western location in Fresno. I was here for work and this hotel was very conveniently located. The room was spacious and clean. My only issue is that the bathroom had a chemical smell, which did go away after I left the door open for a while. The fitness room has the basics such as an elliptical machine, recumbent bike, two treadmills and a simple cable machine. The free hot breakfast is more buffet style and provides most of the breakfast items people would eat and drink. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.

Uran location, non-descript motel which somehow garnered a "plus" rating. Staff was cordial and helpful. but room was unremarkable with a view of the adjacent building wing and parking lot. I arrived late at night and was met by a cheerful staff member. This was a preview of my entire stay. My room was clean and well appointed. There were products for use. There were plenty of pillows. I appreciated the little fridge to keep my beverages cold. The included breakfast had eggs, all types of bread items, cereal, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, waffles, and all the fixings. So much easier than having to time out eating at a café someplace before a meeting. Check out was easy and I received printed directions to my next destination. I will be using this as my regular stopping place when in the Fresno area.

Love the layout of this Best Western property in general, in particular the king-bed suite. Superior to the typical hotel/motel room. We needed only a one-night stay, but I can easily visualize being very comfortable for a longer term for business or leisure. The 2-room design with separate bedroom is practical and feels roomy. Would definitely recommend this property and will be back!

Trip to Fresno to attend 80th birthday dinner. Called to make reservations and spoke with Jocelyn. She was so patient and helpful answering my questions that I felt confident to recommend 3 other couples to stay here too. It was easy to check in and out. The king suite was clean. quite, roomy- 2 TVs, 1 in bedroom,1 in sitting area. Appreciate the bathroom is separated from the wash area. Bed was comfortable, wifi was good. Lobby had coffee/tea, lemon ice water and cookie. Although we did not have breakfast, it had a good variety to please adults and children. Great location, close by to mall. We felt safe and made our morning walk. The staff is accommodating and friendly. We were all happy.

We slept there for one night. The room was nice. But the wi-fi was really bad. Some times there was no wifi at al. The pool was lovely and open to midnight but very cold. Our Norwegian Viking children did not care and swam anyway.

I stayed here for one night on business and since it was on Valentine's Day, I paid an extortionate rate of $243 for my very short stay. Disappointingly, I checked out the following morning feeling like I had just completely wasted every single penny of what I paid. I was assigned a room on the ground floor which was okay, to begin with. Unfortunately, at 6 AM, some of the staff who had just turned up for work decided to chitter chatter LOUDLY right outside my room without any regard for the guest(s) within earshot. So I guess it was a free wake-up call that I never asked for. The room itself was VERY dark and poorly lit. The layout was pretty unusual too. The room was enormous but there were lots of wasted space that served no purpose. The bathroom was the same way too. The distance between the shower and the sink was just unusually large: it just felt weird. What really annoyed me was the A/C unit that sounded like the now-defunct Concorde releasing a sonic boom every time I turned it on. And once it's turned on, the sound did NOT fade away at all. The A/C remained noisy and obstructive. I found it difficult to get my daily dose of forty winks. Breakfast was okay and only offered a limited amount of choices but at least there was a Starbucks next door.

I had a great experience room was clean upon arrival. Polite staff at front desk. My only complaint is that cleaning staff did not do a good job cleaning my room. Just came in an made the bed. Please do not let that discourage your decision. I will be coming back when I come visit my family. Also location is great right by mall and restaurants.

I had a problem in my room: the bathroom was very dark, and the wand in the shower did not work. Reported to the front desk on my way out in the morning ... nothing. Did it again the next day ... nothing. On the 3rd day, as I was checking out, the clerk, same as on the 2nd day, apologized. She said she thought the manager would handle, but nothing had happened. I have no clue who was supposed to do what ... but 3 days, no follow up from anyone? No fix, no solution, nothing? Not good service.

Receptionist were friendly, helpful ,joking and laughing with us during checkin , also a plus upgraded us to suite bc were Gold members stayed in 310 everything worked as it should had no issues with the WiFi. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of places to eat up and down Shaw. We been staying at this location for some years when visiting Fresno always happy with my stay.

Bed was comfortable, but the Pillows were small. The faucet in the sink would not get any cold water. No matter where you turned the handle, all you got was hot water. There were two lights in the shower room. Both white. One was supposed to be a heat lamp. The heater/AC unit would not stop blowing al night. The hotel was not expensive though.

I needed an extra day and the hotel was full. The manager rearranged rooms so I could keep my room and accommodate all guests! She is the best!! The rooms are clean. Plenty of electrical outlets! Very well lit,

I arrived around 2:00pm, and there was no-one at the desk for 10 minutes. After a while a young lady who was General Manager came and checked me in. She was great explaining about the local activities in the area. I got a nice room on 3rd floor 319. The only drawside was a squeak at the door which I reported at check out. One of the business Center Chairs will need to be changed as it has a tear and does not match with the other. Aside from that it is a great hotel located near the Mall and feels safe.

We had a great stay at the Best Western Plus in Fresno! The hotel was super clean, the front desk was friendly and helpful and the full breakfast in the mornings was great! We drove our Tesla up and they even reserved the charger for our two night stay! A++

Great place to stay plenty of parking, facility super clean as well the rooms! Front desk service is A+ makes you feel like home, Noy general manager is awesome!!! Breakfast is excellent and rate is reasonable!!!

We found this hotel to be very pleasant, not too noisy, very clean and comfortable. Though it is in a very busy part of the city, it manages to stay well-kept and clean on the outside. Breakfast choices were ample.

This was a very good motel and i will stay there again. The motel is very clean and the staff is very helpful.The only bad thing is the homeless that are on the next block so it is not safe to walk after dark.

In town for one night to see a concert. Clean, comfortable room. Staff was great. Breakfast was hot and tons of options, not a typical "continental" breakfast. Definitely would stay here again. Very comfy!

We had a large room with good lighting, except that one lamp was broken. Beds and furniture were comfortable. There was a mini-fridge with freezer, a small microwave and good air conditioning. There was also an odd odor that I couldn't identify. The night was very quiet. We used the small but adequate gym. Breakfast was decent, including processed scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt and toppings.

The staff is truly willing to serve and meet your every need. The rooms were probably the cleanest I've stayed in, in any hotel. Conveniently located near the mall, other shopping & eateries, freeways and Fresno City College.

Stayed at this hotel for a concert at the Save Mart Center. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. Bed was comfortable and I really liked their soap (some hotels have terrible soap). I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again for future concerts!

The motel was very nice and upscale.It was near my destination.The room was excellent and bigger than expected.The staff was very professional and seemed as if we had known them.The best part I was able to receive two nights FREE with my points.

This place worked OK but it's nothing special. My major complaint was my window wouldn't open at all. It sure would have been nice to get some fresh air in room #309. The house keeping was good, breakfast was OK.

Compared to just a few years ago, things at BW Fresno Inn are starting to slip. Breakfast is passable -- often same eggs & bacon two days in a row, or biscuits & gravy with no other hot item because they have only one hot plate (hint: leave the biscuits in the bread box and put egss in their place). Carpets need cleaning. Rooms no longer smell "fresh" upon check in.

The location of the hotel was in close proximity to the Bulldog stadium where our tournament was held. There are many restaurants to choose from. Shaw street is a bit noisy. Overall, it was a good stay for the reasonable price.

We do not travel to Fresno very often and this was a very nice place to stay. The breakfast had a great variety and was extremely good. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and courteous. I would recommend this location for a goods nights stay.

We used this hotel for a base location. We visited Yosemite NP and Sequoia-Kings Canyon. We were able to have a decent breakfast before starting the day. The breakfast was good for a hotel and the menu varied the 4 days we were there. We were able to get fresh fruit and bottled water to take with us. The room was nice because we had a couch and a chair to relax after the long day of hiking in the parks. It was a clean hotel and the staff were very friendly and always willing to help in any way.

Very clean rooms, good daily room cleaning, towels, and very cordial staff, and excellent breakfast in this price point hotel. There was nice variety in the breakfast options, very friendly kitchen attendant. Breakfast area too compact, but excellent otherwise.

We had such a nice time in Fresno, there's plenty to do and many places to eat as the hotel is directly opposite a large mall and a Cheesecake Factory which was great! The room was very clean with a wet room inc rain shower which was very nice when it worked, air con not to noisy and worked well. Didn't use the pool but the gym has more than enough equipment and inc. with room. Free breakfast was the best we've had with lots of options inc. a hot one which was different daily. We travelled to the Sequoia and Kings Canyon NPs from here and the journey was bearable for a day trip. Would highly recommend

This was a business trip that I had taken the closest to the bank where I needed to be on Shaw the room was beautiful had everything I needed in it the bed was soft the breakfast was outstanding the customer service was overwhelming they were so friendly eager-to-please definitely I will stay at that one again

Most comfortable bed in California! The bed was King size. Very clean room. Breakfast next morning was excellent. Great service for tired travellers on a budget. Welcoming staff at the desk who were very happy to share information all about California which helped considerably. I'd stay here again.

The hotel and room were clean, staff were friendly, and breakfast OK for hotel of this level. The lighting in the bathroom was a little dim. Also, I was surprised it didn't have ABC, NBC, or CBS channels on the cable TV. I wasn't too impressed with the pillows, but the bed was OK.

Room was very satisfactory. Only reason for not giving five stars is I thought the breakfast could have been a little better. Close to a few choices for meals and close to major freeway. We would definitely return.

Exceptional staff at this location in Fresno. Everyone from the front desk, breakfast staff, housekeeping and Manager went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Very good location to shop across from the mall and a pharmacy also. Felt safe walking to everything.

The location is excellent for highway convenience but lousy for ambiance. The staff can't be faulted, they are friendly and accommodating. My room was nicer than I might have expected given the hotel's exterior, and quiet, considering the very busy road outside. Still there are issues: the bathrooms are almost unbelievably dark for a "newly remodeled" claim, as if it hasn't occurred to anyone that a woman might want to use that room to apply makeup. The rooms are oddly lit as well, with very bright entries but dim and badly placed lights in the room itself. Don't plan on reading.

Location and staff were GREAT. Even got a quieter room than expected. Usually do not sleep well first night...Slept wonderfully. Location was excellent for a variety of restaurants and the Savemart Center. Felt like it was in a safe location as well.

Nice location (Shaw Avenue) and easy to get around, several restaurants and groceries stores nearby. Comfortable Hotel, good breakfast. Close to Hwy 41, convenient for those heading towards Yosemite National Park.

I enjoyed my stay here, but the layout of the room I stayed in was very odd. The bathroom was very small and the sink and mirror was outside the restroom. It was fine, just odd to me. Also staff was very professional and the room was very clean. Internet works great as well!

Great beds, great breakfast, easy to get to off the freeway and very close to the malls and shopping centers in Fresno. I love staying here because it is not a huge hotel, easy to get checked in and out so you can go about your business. The rooms are comfortable and large and I love it.

Quiet location, but convenient to many areas of Fresno. It's not a fancy place, but our room was clean and large, beds comfortable with a choice of pillows. The staff was efficient and friendly, with Susan at the front desk. We didn't use the pool; but the pool and pool area looked clean. The pool is kind of small. Breakfast included scrambled eggs and a breakfast meat. Make-your-own waffles were also available (you can add strawberries and whipped cream), along with cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, breads, fresh fruit. Marti kept the breakfast room clean and well-stocked. My sister said the coffee was excellent. We come to Fresno several times a year to visit family and we would definitely stay here again.

Arrived early afternoon and was accommodated with an upgrade on request. The room was roomy and clean with a separate sitting room and couch. The bathroom was simple with the sink outside the door. Bed was comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast seemed standard for this chain with the basics. Location was great near a mall with many restaurants. The pool was outside but could not try due to a rain storm. A pleasant stay.

this is a very good Best Western Plus hotel and a very nice place to stay, clean, safe, well-run, nice rooms, well-furnished. BUT never ever accept room 102, it is a nightmare. directly thru the wall from the headboard of the nice comfy bed is a fire door at the bottom of the stairs coming down from the 2nd floor into the lobby. the fire door must always be closed. and it is closed by a VERY strong auto-closer which SLAMS the door closed behind guests going up or down the stairs, and it SLAMS every few minutes until 12 midnight or later, and then starts slamming again at 06:00 AM in the morning. good luck trying to sleep!!!!!!

This property is an older Best Western property. Had 2 room King Suite. Clean. (bed 'ok) not best on this trip. Staff courteous. Breakfast typical. No complaints except facility could use update. Mall across street with lots of eateries.

This hotel choice was a very nice, clean and convenient place to stay on a short trip or lengthy one. Clean, comfortable and close by to airport or freeways. We would stay at this hotel again when in the area.

When we arrived, staff was very helpful. After we settled in, we tried to call for food from recommended restaurant, but got no dial tone. when I went to front desk to report, they asked if I was in room ?? When I said yes they said phone on front desk kept ringing from our room, but we kept hanging up. When they came to our room to check phone, they found that it worked if we pressed speaker, but not otherwise. Breakfast was not very good. They had eggs and some kind of mush, cereal and coffee.

Staff is always friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make my stay comfortable! Hotel is close to Hwy 41 for easy access to the clients I visit. The check in and check out is always easy and speedy!

It is a nice clean hotel and reasonably priced. The room was a decent size and the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly too. It was perfect for my husband and I because what we wanted after a long trip was a quiet room with a great bed in which to sleep. Thankfully, that is exactly what we got! We will stay there if we go to Fresno again.

Fabulous room and attentive service. We loved the breakfast. The only drawback was the long line for the popular waffle iron. They could actually use a second waffle iron. This hotel is our favorite place to stay in Fresno.

I stayed for just one night on a business trip and although it isn't the nicest Best Western I've stayed at it was perfectly respectable and everything was fine, everything worked and they have a bench outside for smokers, which is nice. Absolutely no complaints, would stay there again.

We were very pleased with every aspect of our stay at the Best Western Fresno. The staff was excellent, the room was clean and quiet. The staff who prepared the breakfast was extraordinary and went out of their way to assure everything was perfect.

We were on a road trip down the 99 heading to southern CA and planned to stop in the area for the night. Due to the fires, many of the motels were reserved for firefighters, so we had to keep going until we found one. Our GPS told us there was a Comfort Inn right off the fwy in Fresno, so we were going to try there - and then did not like the look of the area so we looked up any Best Westerns nearby. There was one, 6 miles down that same road, so what the heck, we gave it a shot. Thank goodness we did! So much nicer area, and very upscale looking hotel - for a very reasonable price! And they had vacancies! Whew. Beautiful furnishings, comfy beds, clean and modern bathroom. Never tried the pool, but I got a pic of it. It was cute but super small, and a tiny hot tub nearby. Tasty full breakfast offerings, I loved the scrambled eggs and my husband, very picky about his coffee, said it was the best hotel coffee he's ever had. Would love to stay there again.

The staff at BW went above and beyond to accommodate me and my family. We were evacuated from the Detwiler fire with a total of 16 people. The front desk, cooks, Maintenance and cleaning staff were very caring and helpful.

We were using Fresno as a central stopping point on a California road trip. The location was perfect, with lots of nearby shops and restaurants. The hotel was welcoming and well maintained. Everyone at the front desk was great. Highly recommended.

We stayed here as part of our road trip round California and chose Fresno as it is sort of between Yosemite and Sequoia Park. We really liked this hotel, the room was clean and modern, not the usual beige and dark green decor found in a number of USA hotel chains. The bed was very comfortable and there was a big television plus a microwave in the room. Check-in was a bit slow as myself and a couple of other guests had to hang around for a few minutes as there was no sign of anyone at reception and when the receptionist arrived she wasn't particularly friendly and did her job without conversing or smiling. Breakfast was pretty average, the usual stuff out of packets and not very tasty bread. However there was lots of hot drinks and fresh juice and it filled a gap. The hotel is in a very good location opposite a shopping mall with a comic book/game store, Forever 21 and J C Penney. There's a CVS and a Cheesecake Factory nearby as well. After we checked out, we drove straight along the road to West Shaw Avenue and the Forestiere underground gardens, which are well worth a visit. Would recommend this hotel as the room was so clean. modern and comfortable.

In town for business and stayed at this BW close to my meeting. Very comfortable bed, clean, quiet room, great HD flatscreen TV, and nice breakfast room/area (didn't have the waffles but they looked delicious)! Would stay again if back in town. Nice job, BW!

Nice staff, clean, budget hotel- close to starbucks for a quick morning to go cuppa and near freeways! Weird lumpy pillows but comfy bed. The central location is helpful on a road trip. Breakfast and wifi were included.

Internet was slowwwwwwwww. Breakfast food need to be refilled faster including the milk. Waffle with strawberry was the best. Everything else is okay. No big impression. The beds were smaller than usual.

A nice spot in between Sequoia National Park and Yosemite NP. Great breakfast at a reasonable price. The pool was a bit small but everything else was nice. Very nice staff and clean roomy rooms. Average price for last minute.

Front desk staff at check-in very friendly. At checkout average. Hotel is up to date and offers nice modern rooms. Exterior Grounds were kept up fine. Breakfast was free and offered hot items as well as the make your own waffles. Very pleased with the breakfast and items offered and they were hot and fresh. Rooms were clean just noticed the arms of the couch were dirty and needed to be cleaned. Also hallway carpets were very dirty and needed to be cleaned. Room carpets were clean. Notified front desk agent at checkout. She did not really have an answer for me and did not apologize. I hope the hotels takes care of this issue. This is why I mentioned average as the staff agent at checkout. The area is near the Fashion Fair Mall and several eateries basically across the street walking distance. The area is fine on the side of the freeway the hotel is located. A female should not walk alone in this area even across to the mall and eateries after dark.

We were on our way to Yosemite and this was a very nice stopover. Would definitely stay here again. We had four rooms in our family group and everyone was completely satisfied. This BW was definitely a plus.

My wife & I could not have been more pleased about everything we experienced at this hotel: free great breakfast, pool & Jacuzzi to ourself day & night, 50" TV, large room, friendly & very helpful desk staff, safe parking, good restaurants nearby, ice machine & elevator close, clean, very reasonable price. This hotel is great. Everything was great except a light noise that came probably from the in-room refrigerator. For most people, this wouldn't pose a problem, but I'm a sensitive insomniac. It's located on Shaw Ave. within easy reach of services (restaurants, banks, malls and freeways)

My sister and I stayed here. It was such a nice, clean hotel. The room was large, a king suite. The staff at checkin was friendly. Housekeeping was very friendly. Jenny at the bar was very friendly and personable and made us feel very welcome. Everyone always had a smike. I would definitely stay here again and woukd recommend it to all!

I have to say, this is what Best Western Inns are all about. I stayed there this past Saturday May 20, 2017. I was greeted by April who is a doll and was told I was too early to check in. No problem, while I was at the counter Chris, asked which room I was waiting for, April answered and the Chris went above and beyond to inspect the room and make sure all was well. I did a couple of errands and returned to the hotel where I met Susan. Another doll. I have to say my experience with this hotel was wonderful, I really wish there were other words in the English language to say just how wonderful these 3 individuals made my stay. I loved the room, the hot tub was awesome and for a Saturday night the hotel was quiet. I just loved my stay. I have a theory, if I stay in enough of Best Western hotels it will help me forget the awful stay I experienced in New Mexico when I stayed at the Best Western Rio Grande. This Best Western was so much better than that one. From the staff to the rooms to the breakfast buffet. So So much better. I think the staff from New Mexico could take lessons on how to run a hotel and deal with the guests from the 3 wonderful people I encountered in Fresno. Keep up the great work Chris, April and Susan, you made this Veteran very very happy. I can not say thank you enuogh.

My husband and I were greeted at the reception desk by Nicole who is warm and friendly. She is a real gem!! Our room which was a good size had a queen bed and a large sofa. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were too large for me and I ended up not using one at all. My husband had no problem with the pillows. We really liked the fact that the sink area with a large counter on which to spread our toiletries was separate from the toilet and shower/bathtub. There were many choices at the breakfast buffet and the person serving made sure it was adequately supplied throughout breakfast. Susan who checked us out was also friendly and hardworking. We definitely would stay at this Best Western if we ever find ourselves traveling to Fresno.

Property is fairly new, very clean and well-maintained with helpful staff; the breakfast was better than expected! The location is convenient, if a bit too close to highway 41 noise... however what I hadn't realized is it's in the flight path of the Fresno airport, which isn't super-busy but still has flights in & out late at night and early in the morning, so we didn't sleep all that well. The A/C unit is strong and quiet, however it lets outside noise in and was right beside the bed in our room. If you can sleep with earplugs you'll do fine.

There was loud parting in the pool with music and alcohol past 10 pm. The hallway smelled like pot and the room was musty. I was checked into an occupied room which was very awkward and uncomfortable and had to wait 25 minutes while she tried to find me a room that wasn't occupied and she didn't seem confident this kept my child up way past her bedtime. Really awkward stay. Never again.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 12 nights and the stay at the hotel was just fabulous. The room was large well equipped and fitted with all amenities. The bathroom was spacious, clean and had lots of towels. There was a microwave, refrigerator, adeuate hangers for clothes in the cupboard, free and excellent wifi with high speeds, a large desk for study, pleanty of lights, air conditioning, tea/coffee maker in room, and so much more. The delights of a 5-star hotel at an affordable price. The highlight was the free breakfast which had eggs, bacon, sausages, yoghurt, waffles, breads/muffins, various juices, fresh fruits, etc. The lady in charge of breakfast was very helpful, spreading joy and laughter and going out of her way to make the day a happy one. The reception was also very helpful. They supported us when we expected a parcel by post, helped get hot water for tea in the lobby, and made us feel at home. There is very little that went wrong over such a long stay and will definitely stay here if we visit Fresno again.

The CHECKIN was mediocre at best, no acknowledgement of being a diamond member, had to inquire about my free upgrade; April didn't have a clue about it. The hotel rooms are nice, smaller them most BW's. It's across from the mall so location is strategic. Just off the 42 so location is key. The elder lady that took care of the breakfast was to busy talking to coworkers and guests to stock the bacon, eggs and sausage. When she did restock the bacon; it was burnt to a crisp. At least I had cold eggs to eat (me rolling my eyes)! The manager was walking around chatting with the breakfast lady; here's a thought, stop by your paying customers table and ask how their stay is. I woulda told you first hand about it. Will I be back; I doubt it.

I love this hotel. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Great location across the mall. Everything in the room is spotless, even the remote control. There's a sitting area to read a book or kick back and watch TV. A desk to get some work done. The usual microwave, refrigerator, iron/ironing board, hair dryer. I pack light so I usually use the washer and dryer on the premises ($1.50 to wash, $1.50 to dry). I love the bed with all the pillows and comfy bedcovers. The whole room is warm, inviting and relaxing, and quiet when I want to sleep. I always stay here when I'm in Fresno. Parking is free. I just love this hotel.

I cannot say it enough that I just love this hotel. If I could live there I would! The rooms are always perfect for me. Right size, clean room (and tv remote!), comfy bed, comfortable temperature, a sitting area, a desk, microwave/fridge. And the staff is just wonderful - always helpful, very accommodating. Please don't ever shut down! I'm a huge fan, what can I say.

Room was huge, staff very welcoming and the breakfast was very good! Good location near restaurants and shopping mall. Did not try pool as it was rainy and cold. Very handy to have customer laundry on site.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times before & been quiet happy , but I think last night may be my last stay here . The receptionist while she did her job , had as much charm as a robot , not a good first impression . When we went to our room we found it had a connecting door to next guest room . Usually I ask on booking not to be given such a room. I phoned down & requested a different room , but was told this was not at all possible as hotel was fully booked . When I explained that due to medical condition my husband was prone to noisy nightmares & I was concerned for other guests hearing this , she suddenly had a room available !! I,m not sure how good housekeeping was in second room , as on the floor was a metal dry cleaners type clothes hanger ! So obviously not vacuumed ! When I went down later & commented that the room can not have been vacuumed due to this hanger on the floor , which I gave to her , she replied " Oh thank you " Was she even listening to what I said ? The fan in the bathroom was unusable as it made so much noise -- I,m not sure it was even working . We did forget to tell them this on leaving. Breakfast room was so full many people could not find seats , we in fact sat in reception area with our coffee & cereals . Which also brings me to the question , if non - dairy milk is available , why is it not put out with the dairy milk ? Many people would assume it is not available or do not like to ask . So sorry , its been a good friendship till now , but I will be moving on

We stayed one night at Best Western Plus Fresno Inn, on our trip to see the bald eagles at Millerton Lake. East Shaw Avenue is a major street, close to Cal State Fresno, and when we got there, we worried that traffic noise would bother us. But it did not. The hotel is set back from the street, and all rooms are interior access. Our room was perfectly adequate and clean, and our bed was comfortable. The woman at the front desk was friendly and helped us by answering some questions with good advice. The included breakfast was good, with hot eggs, bacon and sausage. The woman who maintained the breakfast cooked waffles, and offered them around in a friendly manner. There were also the usual cold items, such as yogurt and cereal. The breakfast was better than average.

King Suite was the best room at any Best Western we have stayed at. Room was the cleanest no issues with amenities. Staff front desk was very accommodating. Many places to dine close by. Will recommend this Best Western to my friends and family.

This was our first time staying here. Pros: The room was very quiet, even though the property is in close proximity to a lot of traffic; the refrigerator and AC fan (w/out heat or AC running) were extraordinarily quiet--the best we've ever had at any property with window units; the breakfast food was not over-salted, was well-stocked, and very fresh; all staff were very attentive, helpful, and friendly and, in particular, the woman responsible for the breakfast buffet was awesome. Cons: there was no coffee carafe for the in-room coffee maker (note: we did not bother to tell management, since our stay was short); bathtub was worn; small housekeeping issues (bath fan and lampshades dusty; furniture had not been moved to vacuum, so remnant of crackers on floor next to bed); doors in room were VERY squeaky (again, we did not tell management and forgot to mention it at checkout). Overall, the experience was excellent and we plan to stay there, again. The pros absolutely outweighed the very small housekeeping oversights.

We're here for Thanksgiving to visit Family and we always look for BW-Plus. This place did not disappoint. Everything about it was perfect. The only (barely) concern was maybe it's time for new mattresses, but it could have been much worse. Staff was excellent, location was premium, and everything else, we loved. I really, REALLY, appreciate the hot breakfast and good coffee. This is a deal-breaker for me and it did not disappoint. Even the Hot-Tub was HOT! Overall, a very smart choice if you need accommodations in Fresno near the university and to numerous restaurants and shopping. Staff was professional, helpful and friendly; room was very comfortable; price was very reasonable. Would recommend this hotel. Only drawback, breakfast was limited but standard "breakfast included fare".

I checked in early evening Friday and I enjoyed my stay. It was a quiet neighborhood a little off the beaten path which was fine with me. My granddaughters and daughter loved the swimming pool and the breakfast was better than average. Nice room and décor. I would recommend that my friends and colleagues stay here if they have the chance. Overall an excellent stay.

The toilet wouldn't work without removing the tank lid and manually operating the flushing device. The breakfast was ordinary with few options. It was poorly prepared and the hot items were not hot. A printout of the bill was not available.

It is a great clean place to stay. Close to everything. People extremely nice and very clean. The beds are really comfortable. The size of the tv screen is great as well. My Dad really enjoyed the afternoon snack of the cookies as well.

Best Western Plus in Fresno, California as the best experience of the three we had during a recent trip from Florence, Oregon to Winchester, California. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Excellent staff. Warm cookies on arrival and efficient and friendly answers to all questions.

This hotel was so clean I asked if it was new! The answer was that it had been there for a surprisingly ling time! The rooms were spotless, the breakfast room as well and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for more.

This was our first visit to Fresno and to this hotel. It is located right in the middle of malls and shopping. At first we thought this would be a problem, pleasantly surprised that it was very convenient and did not have problems with noise etc. Very nice hotel, efficient staff, very pleased with the room, exceptional breakfast for a quick meal. The hotel was very clean, staff were always available and either cleaning, tending to visitor needs, manager onsite was exceptional. They had decorated for Halloween and worked hard to keep everything clean and pleasant. Definitely would stay at this hotel again if passing through the area.

When you stay at a Best Western, you know that you are going to get a clean, comfortable room with a framily staff. They are not luxury hotels but serve my needs when I need a hotel for business or short stays. The BW Plus Fresno Inn was close to where my business meeting was, close to the freeway, close to restaurants and I received a quiet, clean, comfortable spacious room with breakfast. It was perfect for my needs. It had a couch and work table and the limite buffet breakfast was very good.

An excellent facility. Great rooms and service. the location is very convenient to the highway and some very good restaurants ( Max's ). The staff is helpfull and the free breakfast is as good as any BW plus we've stayed in.

Nice clean hotel- breakfast included eggs, sausage, waffles and cereals. Coffee and water bar in the lobby. They went out of their way to have breakfast to go bags ready for the early morning runners who left before breakfast time. Very considerate and friendly staff.

We live about 300 miles from Fresno. Our family went to a concert at Staples Center. I didn't want to risk driving after so this met our needs perfectly. Plenty of nearby restaurants and services. Easy freeway access.

What a pleasant surprise. On this three week road trip we have only stayed in few hotels that deserve 5 stars and this is one. This location has very well furnished rooms with upscale everything. This place has plaques on the wall that indicate they have been on the top of their game for several years and I believe it. This is also the least expensive hotel we have stayed in on our west coast trip making this the best value by far.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. The beds could have been a better quality but overall the room was quite nice for the price. There were 4 pillows for each bed. The room was clean and had nice amenities. Breakfast was quite good with a large variety of options from cold cereals and breads to hot items including eggs, bacon and sausage. You could also make waffles with all sorts of tasty toppings. You definitely get a good value for your money.

The Best Western offers a solid experience given the rate. The room was spacious and relatively clean. The included breakfast is good. The location is good for a roadtrip; next to the highway and opposite of a big shopping mall. Make sure you ask for the AAA rate.

Best Western Plus in Fresno was a perfectly nice place to stay. The room was large. Plenty of pillows on the bed, although they were lumpy. I liked the arrangement of the big vanity and sink outside a separate shower and toilet. The receptionist was not particularly friendly, and failed to mention that there was a complimentary breakfast in the morning which we had forgotten about. It was quite good, with eggs, bacon, bread of various sorts, waffles, etc. We asked about whether there were movies on TV, and she didn't know. There weren't, at least we weren't able to find them. It was close to the good restaurant we had chosen, the Lime Lite, which was nice!

Nice rooms for a quick stay, a bit noisy so don't expect to have best night of sleep but good for price/quality. The swimming pool was also a nice resting spot. One strong comment: DO NOT ASK RECEPTIONIST FOR ADVICE ON TOURS!! I asked how long it was to Yosemite and Sequoia and almost lost my trips because of the horrible information I was given

Wish we had more time to actually enjoy this property. We were in Fresno on the weekend for the Garth Brooks concert. The check-in was efficient, the room clean and very well-appointed (including a small fridge), AND...AND the property has a Tesla HPWC with 80 am charging right near the front door. YEA! Rather than wait in the heat and sun at the Fresno Tesla Supercharger location, my car was simply FULLY CHARGED and ready to make the return drive to Sacramento while we slept. I did sample quickly the breakfast room, and the coffee was good, the OJ was actually quite good, and my half-waffle a wonderful starter for the morning. Would return for sure.

We stayed one night, however great hotel, with check-in to clean updated roo. To breakfast in the morning. Very modern furnishings, friendly staff at check-in and checkout. The motel is close to University of Fresno, and close to shopping.

I was well pleased, I stay at Best Western's at least 2 to 3 times a week in central and northern California. I'm a truck driver and I need peace and quiet, comfortable bed, and cleanliness. they well exceed my expectation of all my previous experiences with other Best Western motels.

I booked with trip advisor as they had the best price and the reviews looked good, I arrived late booking in was very quick, ground floor room. The room is big, has a large TV, fridge, microwave, great AC and the wifi is works great. My other half appreciated the make up remover wipes in the room. The hotel is just across the road from the Mall and is in a great location. I got to the hotel late at night and out early in the morning, in that time everything was as expected I am very happy with the best Weston plus ( I have also signed up for the rewards program)

This is the perfect place to stay on the way to the Sierra Mountains. We stay there on our way home from Yosemite national Park andi it was everything we needed. The room was large, the hotel was very quiet, and the breakfast was excellent. I can't believe we had such a great room for such a low price. We will definitely stay there again.

Excellent location off the freeway & across From Shoppimg mall. Once I parked, I didn't have to drive for the weekend. All within walking distance. Friendly staff except the night employee. Well maintain d, however bit hidden off the street it's the building behind Western Union, you can enter from the E. Shaw Ave or from Fresno St. Breakfast was included.

Pleasant hotel, with spacious rooms and reasonable price makes a great overnight stopover for replenishing supplies and regrouping if traveling between Yosemite and Sequoia Parks. Wal-mart, restaurants and other shopping nearby. Has laundry facilities, small pool, and nice lobby. We left refreshed and ready to hit the wilderness again.

We needed an overnighter for a long drive from Oregon to SoCal. Found the place while driving, and it turned out to be a good choice. Best Western Plus could not have been lovelier - clean, modern, well-appointed. Full hot breakfast included. Within walking distance to Cheesecake Factory and other restaurants.

We often stay near the Kaiser hospital. This is our fav. Last Stay, Fathers Day, and Staying tonight over this weekend. Everything is updated and fresh. A perfect room, everything works, very clean, great bed and great coffee with breakfast. Pleasant and fast check-in with Free Newspapers, cookies and coffee. Free WiFi.

Heading home from Lake Tahoe on a Thursday night... After we had dinner we knew we wanted to stay at a Best Western. The one we found was right around the corner from where we had dinner. The funny thing is is you don't pay attention, you'll drive right past it on Shaw. It doesn't sit right out in the Open... Use your GPS and she will take you right to the Gem of the Best Western Plus. Great Friendly place to stay.

I love to stay here when I am in town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large, lots of room and plug recepticals for charging all of your phones and computers, very comfortable bed, good lighting and clean. I usually get a quiet room since I usually have work to do when I am done with my appointments but on this trip on my last night, it was different. After midnight, a white extended cab truck with a black star on the hood pulled up on the back side of the hotel with the windows down and music turned up really loud. Three very drunk men were in the truck and they were talking louder than the music. They got out and were talking loudly and staggering around, leaning on other cars. I called the desk to let them know. I was told the men had just checked in (as smashed as they were, I am surprised they were given a room) and that security would be notified. I didn't see security come and as time passed one of the men staggered to the wall and proceeded to urinate. I called down again and was told the night desk clerk had not had time to call security but would. I still didn't see security. The men were staggering all over the back parking lot talking. A car pulled in and parked but nobody got out. Finally the men walked off and the person, a woman, finally got out of the car and came into the back door. First time this place didn't seem safe. I will stay here again but I was disappointed hat security didn't deal with this issue quickly.

We came on a Tuesday and stayed until Friday morning - 3 nights. When we got there the elevator was broken and we had to carry all of our heavy suitcases up the stairs. When we left on Friday the elevator was still out of service and they told us it was being fixed on Monday. I don't know how long it was out before we came but it was broken for at least 6 days. For a hotel with 3 floors this is unacceptable to make 2/3 of your guests carry luggage up the stairs We had some cases of drinks in the car that we would have brought inside so they would not get really hot (it was 106 degrees). Since we didn't want to carry them up the stairs we left them in the car and had to drink them hot. Also, the room smelled like smoke and still smelled that way for all 3 nights we were there. We propped the door open when we left at the end of our stay to hopefully air it out a bit for the next guest. I think it was room 216 in case anyone is wondering. One of the days that we were there the swimming pool was out of service as well. We chose this hotel based on the great reviews it had on tripadvisor but it wasn't what we expected. On the plus side, other than the smoke smell, the room and bathroom were clean and the parking lot was good. The AC was good which was important in the Fresno summers

Overall a great stay with the exception of the elevator not working and our room was on the third floor. There was some difficulty in getting luggage to the room. Breakfast had a great selection of items. Road tripping through California National Parks and this hotel was in a perfect location coming from Yosemite National Park and on our way to Kings Canyon National Park.

Pool was out of order and it was over 100 degrees. Elevator was out of order and it was over 100 degrees so who wants to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Staff helped to carry up, but not down to check out. Room was okay. Bathroom could use updating and was a little dirty. View of wall. Breakfast was okay, pretty standard buffet. Coffee needs to-go lids for cups.

Felt welcomed by the front desk. Room was clean and breakfast was great. Met the General Manager during the breakfast, Loni, she was wonderful! Whenever we travel to Fresno again we will definitely be staying at the Best Western.

I'm never let down when I stay here. Check is always fast and easy. The breakfast staff are so wonderful and really care about their guest. My room was spotless and beautiful. Definitely a highly recommended hotel due to its wonderful staff and quality! I'll be back soon!

I like the microwave and refrigerator in the room, the good TV and a workable A/C. Also appreciate the hot breakfast. Most have elevators and they accommodate handicapped. Staff is always friendly. The chain strives for consistency, so I know what to expect.

The room smelled like urine from the bathroom. The breakfast gave me diarrhea. The pool was green and out of service. The elevator was broken. Too many things wrong for a two night business stay in the middle of the week. In general the place was in poor repair. The location, which can't be helped, was poor and seedy.

Although Best Westerns can be run down, this place is an exception. It is modernised with nice colours and decoration. The service is okay and parking is plenty. The King suite room is great for families. Fresno is a good place to use as a base to explore Yosemite.

Stopped for a brief overnight stay on the way to Kings Canyon. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable, wifi connectivity was better than average. The hotel is closer to hwy 41 than 99 but easy to get to from either hwy. Continental breakfast is basic and much appreciated for travelers like us wanting a little something before getting back on the road--cereal, toasts, waffles, eggs, bacon and sausage. I found this hotel to be a good value and would definitely consider staying again.

I was on my way between the coast and Sequoia National Park. This hotel is clean, and my room was huge. I had a King bed, a sofa bed, and plenty of space for a very reasonable price. It was spotless. Breakfast was typical chain hotel fare, and fit the bill.

This was my first stay at a Best Western. My wife and I were pleasantly surprise by the quality and comfort. This is a good place to stop on a trip through Fresno. The free breakfast was an added plus that surprised us. Hotel was off the highway and was quite quiet for a good night's sleep.

We stayed here while visiting family it was very convenient location. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, the rooms were large and very clean. Also the beds were very comfortable for a great nights sleep. I would stay here again

We very much enjoyed our stay at this BW. It was definitely one of the upper BW's. Very clean, very upscale decorations. Nice breakfast room but like so many (or most hotels) that offer breakfast the eggs are not fresh. Should just do hard boiled for those who wish eggs. EVERYTHING else on the breakfast menu was very good. Nice selection. Would stay here again in a minute if in the area.

Always my choice when visiting Fresno a it is close to family. Nice, clean quiet hotel. Close to shopping and restaurants too. Breakfast Ok for fast and go mornings. Hotel has everything you need in a small scale which works fine.

Pro: This hotel is good, it is very comfort to stay, the air conditioner is quiet and strong enough to cool the room although outside is 104 degree F. It is worth for the money I spent. Con. No hair blower inside the room.

Excellent customer service. Overall above average service but ammenities are limited. Pool and pool area is small and there's not much sunlight over the pool area. Not the spot to work on your tan. Breakfast was ok, I wouldn't call a hardy meal but adequate. Close to lots of restaurants, mall & other ammenities.

This is the last night of our 11 day vacation to California. We spent every single day on the run going to Kings Canyon, Sequoia, Yosemite and the coast all the way from Monterey to Moro Bay. It was nice to come home each night to a nice clean room and a comfy made bed, especially after miles of hiking in the 80 to nearly 100 degree temperatures. The noise was low, the area well lit, very close to Highway 41, and just a short drive from the airport. The staff were very friendly, and on one occasion we got to breakfast a little late and the nice lady in charge of breakfast offered to cook something for us anyways! There is even a business center where we were able to check in online and print our boarding passes for tomorrow morning. There is only one reason I rated this 4 stars instead of 5 and that is bathtub safety. The floors of the bathtub were very slippery in our room. My wife and I nearly fell a few times. This is something I definitely think needs to be fixed! Other than that, great hotel!

Love staying at this hotel! The staff is very outgoing and super friendly. Their manager Loni is awesome - they are lucky to have her. The breakfast is a full breakfast and is excellent. Great hotel to stay at business or pleasure.

As Hotels go in Fresno, this was a decent stay. As anyone with knowledge of the area knows, there are no luxury places to stay in Fresno, but the Best Western was clean, comfortable, and the room actually quite spacious for the suite. The staff was friendly and accommodating. 3 stars is the maximum I can give to a hotel with no luxury amenities like room service, or top-tier restaurant, additionally, the pool is no frills. However, again, this is one of our better stays in Fresno, as we come here frequently to visit my Son, and we've had some horrible stays at other Hotels.

Claiming that all BWs are required to serve the same breakfast items, the quality of breakfast has gone way downhill here. A year ago, the hot breakfast was different daily, included items such as biscuits and gravy, hash, potatoes, non-frozen scrambled eggs, sausage links and patties, bacon, oatmeal, and a variety of fresh fruit. Now, just the same three "hot" items every day, seven days a week: frozen "scrambled" eggs that come out like looking like cottage cheese or worse (and were served cold at 6:30am one day this past week), the same undercooked, barely warm sausage patties every day, precooked bacon that is either heated to cinders or underheated and greasy. I suppose I could have a waffle some days, but the batter isn't even good any more. Normally, I go to breakfast first thing at 6:30am. One day this stay, I went at 8am. No eggs, no bacon, two sausages, a few slices of bread, no bagels, a few english muffins, and no attendant. Went back at 8:30am, and nothing had changed. So breakfast was a couple of cold sausages on stale bread and a couple of cups of OJ -- no milk for dry cereal available. They don't even put out any bananas any more. I don't know if there really is a chain-wide mandate to serve the same food every day, but if that's true, they might as well just drop breakfast altogether and lower the room rate $10, and I'll drive to Denny's or somewhere for a real breakfast. Personally, I think the management at this location is cutting corners. There has been a complete turnover of FOH staff, and that says a lot. Very sad to see these changes for the worse take place. My company books 30+ rooms here for one-two days three times a year, and I stay here 3-4 nights one week per month plus an occasional additional day or two per month.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western in Fresno on Shaw Ave in June 2016. I would rate my overall stay experience as an 8 out of 10 (10 being the best). The staff at the front desk where extremely friendly. We actually reserved a double occupancy room and got a room with a standard size bed (hence, one of the reason I only rate it an 8). It was addressed and we left satisfied. Our bed was small bed, but comfortable enough for one night. If we stayed more than one, I might have requested another room the 2nd night. My husband is a big guy, but for me, it was just fine. The room was not overly fancy, but clean and had simple modern décor. The pillows were above average. The room temperature was good. The breakfast bar was above average as far as a continental breakfast goes. They had sausage and eggs (not always a given for a continental breakfast), waffles, bagels, apples, bananas, cold cereal, and the usual. The employee working at the breakfast bar was very friendly (happy with life kind of guy :) The breakfast bar was very clean too. Unfortunately, we did not get an opportunity to get in the pool or hot tub, but it looked clean and well maintained The price was competitive ($99 night). The part of town the hotels was placed seemed safe. My husband and I would stay here again if we were able to book at room with a larger bed.

The Cable was out and we were told that "Supposedly" someone was working on it but they didn't know if or when it would be fixed. I asked to speak to the Manager and was told that the Manager wouldn't be in until Monday. ( After we would be gone...)

Clean, comfortable, and caring staff. Convenient location central for working in Fresno. Very honest staff! I left my smart phone in the looby over night, it was found and kepted at front desk. Cable TV was down overnight, no problem wifi was very good strength!

This place is in a great location just off the main street but very close to major shopping centres and the freeways that cut through Fresno going both north and southbound as well as to the east and west. The place itself is nice with good front desk service and plenty of parking. The room is quite large although it was a bit strange having the vanity area in the hallway by the room door with the shower and toilet in a room opposite. A couple other small queries - there is only one washing machine so we had to go to a laundromat as it was already in use and we had a lot of washing to do that day. The pool is also located in a strange position right by the front entrance doors to the hotel. It felt a bit strange having to walk through the main foyer outside and also it wasn't very private. A side door entry would be better and some screening or fencing could make it a more pleasant experience. Finally the breakfast room each day didn't have butter for the toast, the first time I've ever seen that in a hotel. Overall though a nice stay.

Exceptionally capable and friendly staff ensured a quiet room with an outstanding bed for an extended stay. Outlets built into bed frame nice plus for phone charging and computer use. Everything very clean. Couple of problems for those using this for work. Internet connection intermittent; kept having to reconnect. Lighting was not at its best for productive business trip; lots lamps, but none with 3-way bulbs or higher wattage made it difficult to work. BIggest problem was the carb-heavy breakfast. "Eggs" are some kind of "egg product" and sometimes weren't even hot. Lots of greasy sausage and bacon-type product. American bread, pasty bagels, and too-sweet muffins. Had yoghurt, juices, apples, and oranges, but other fruits (like blackberries) available to the early eaters were not replenished. Noting this for those who count on the breakfast to offset some of the expense of the motel. OK location behind stores fronting major street in Fresno, but those traveling alone early might want to get there for most secure parking spot.

The Best Western Fresno Inn was in a very good location for my needs. Close to the 41 Hwy, near shopping and not far from Blackstone for dining. The room was well appointed and had extra pillows and blankets (which were not needed). Breakfast was a nice touch. The pool and spa area was very small and did not leave much room for doing laps in the pool. The spa was comfortable for up to 4 people.

This place is hidden away and very quiet, but close to everything. My only complaint is that the ice machine is on the second floor and the vending machine on the second floor would not take paper money and I had to go to the third floor. We had a room on the first floor. The rooms are nice and clean.

Everything was excellent the only down side was this was CSU FRESNO graduation, the hotel was booked but the poor lady in the breakfast room had no help!! We went down stair and everything was empty, no breakfast left this was approximately 8:15 am and the lady was running her tail off trying to get caught up and people were very rude to her:(:( Maybe next time you have a large event in the area with a hotel sell out you could schedule one extra person to help in the breakfast room.

Stayed here on our way to Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Park. Hotel is nice incl. the best breakfast during our 12-day trip - scrambled eggs (buttery & not overcooked), toppings of salsa & cheese, bacon, sausage, corned beef hash, coffee, juice (orange, apple, cranberry and Sobe vitamin water), make your own waffles with fresh strawberry sauce & whipped cream, cold cereal & granola with toppings of chocolate chips, fresh blackberries, yogurt cups, read, bagels & cream cheese and muffins. Staff very friendly, had business center (desk with public computer), elevator, complimentary newspaper. Would stay here again if I am ever in the area.

I chose this hotel because of the high ratings here on Trip Advisor - as well as the fact that the hotel offers a hot breakfast. I was not disappointed. Check-in when we arrived was smooth. The rooms are clean and a great value. The bathroom was a bit small - but the sink area is outside the room with the shower/toilet, so that was helpful. WiFi is strong throughout the hotel. The breakfast - and woman who replenishes the breakfast items and maintains the breakfast area is very friendly and dedicated to her work. She really brightens the start of the day. The scrambled eggs and breakfast sausage patties are very good. When booking your reservation, you'll get a discount if you are a AAA member.

Called front desk (SUSAN) to reserve two rooms. Susan did two separate reservations each with it's own reservation #. On day checked in only one room showed in system- said they couldn't find 2nd conf. # & no other room available because hotel "overbooked" because of a concert in the area. Members of my group left without a place to stay. No efforts made by Best Western to compensate for the problem they caused. What good was it to even have received a confirmation number???!!!

We love this nice little hotel. This is our second year and it is clean, in a decent area, near many higher end restaurants and a nice mall, and is really clean. The staff is caring and nice and do a great job keeping up the hotel. The breakfast in also very good in the morning with more than just carb choices. I recommend this hotel.

Completely remodeled a few years ago, the hotel is probably the best in Fresno, CA. It is not too large so sometimes difficult to get in. Offers excellent internet and breakfast, both included in price. Security cameras monitor inside and parking areas. Lobby is very large; offers business center. All rooms are inside along lighted hallways. Nice staff. Rooms are set up as suites with work areas, refrigerator, ironing boards, hair dryer, and great lighting. New lights have 110v outlets so there are ample outlets, including on wall, available for charging electronic devices.

Stayed here before a few times and always have had a pleasant stay. This time for the Paul McCartney concert was no exception. The check-in was awesome, great service from a young lady named Nikki. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfy. The breakfast is good and the employee in there was also very friendly and helpful. I'll stay here again for sure!

I have enjoyed staying here before and was surprised to find there is a new Manager. Lonnie was on the phone with a customer when I came in to see if I could check in early. As soon as she was able to finish up with the other customer, she set me up right away. I usually get a regular room but decided to treat myself to a suite since the rate was so reasonable. When you walk into the lobby everything is right. It is stylish and comfortable. My suite was very comfortable. The living area had a couch, chair, end table and coffee table a desk with a work chair, microwave, small flat screen TV and fridge. There was a set of French doors to the bedroom and inside was a bed, chair, dresser, two end tables and a larger flat screen TV. The vanity with one sink and a lot of counter space is right inside the door. The room was very clean and very comfortable. There is a lot of choices of meals close by as well as a mall for shopping. I look forward to staying here again.

We were working an all-day meeting at the neighboring Ramada, and since we do not like Ramadas for sleeping rooms, we stayed here. Our room was spacious and the king bed fairly comfortable. The window looked into a "channel" between two wings of the hotel, so it was dark even with bright daylight outside. Lighting in the bath was fairly dim--likely designed by a guy who doesn't consider what it's like to put on makeup in dim light. Breakfast was the usual: powdered eggs, [greasy] bacon, a selection of Kellogg cereals, some fruit. Service, though, was great. Very friendly staff.

We have been on a multi stop vacation through the US. We decided on this hotel after visiting Yosemite and before the long drive to Vegas. The hotel is really easy to find right off the freeway. The hotel has a good sized car park, check in was quick, reception explained they had all night security checking the cars so we were reassured from the off. The room is a good size, it was clean, modern and air conditioned. We took dinner that evening almost opposite the hotel at the Cheesecake Factory, there are other choices as well, then walked back to the hotel. In the morning they have a free hot breakfast which is self service, perfectly adequate for us. Overall we thought the hotel was exceptional value for money for the standard you get. We have no complaints at all

This Best Western Plus, was a true "Plus" - from check-in to check-out. The King bed was very comfortable, the room and bathroom/shower were very clean, and the room temperature was easily adjustable, The lobby was uncluttered, the check-in Clerk was efficient and friendly. Just an FYI: I was in Fresno to attend a concert at the SaveMart Center on the Fresno State campus, and it was very easy to get to (via Uber for $6.37), but arranging a ride back was more difficult - there is no "entry" once the concert is over, and the traffic congestion made a meeting point more complicated. However, once in the car, the ride back to the Hotel was short, though a little more expensive. The breakfast provided many choices: a variety of breakfast cereals, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, sausage gravy, white and wheat bread, English muffins, bagels, and batter for waffles, plus all the usual condiments and juices, as well as coffee and tea (bags). The Hostess was very attentive and kept items replenished. A plus: the toaster actually toasted the muffin rather than merely warming it. A minus: the fresh fruit stand had two very tired looking apples, and nothing else.

We had stayed at the BW Fresno Inn before, a few years back. Based on that stay, we decided to try it this past week as we were traveling to Fresno. We were again, not disappointed. check in was easy, we were upgraded to a larger, king suite which gives you a separate sitting area which is always nice. The room was very clean and in good shape. The pool area, while small, is kept up well. They could offer larger towels though. The breakfast was well stocked. Also, the hotel is close to Fresno State and also across the street from a shopping mall with some very good restaurants, so the location is ideal. This Best Western doesn't have a lot of "bells and whistles", but it is solid and dependable and will be our hotel of choice whenever we go to Fresno.

Stayed a night on our way to Vancouver from Palm Springs , excellent stopover . Loni was a pleasure to deal with at check in . Great location , opposite Fashion Mall & restaurants , particularly recommend Cheesecake Factory . Good freeway access.Nice touch having coffee, cookies, & iced water available all the time . Complimentary breakfast was ok , but would suggest that they consider offering non dairy milk also , as many have dairy allergies -- almond milk or soya would be appropriate . The ceiling in bathroom could do with having the water stain seen to !

I know that I can count on Best Western to provide comfortable beds and lots of pillows! I am not a big breakfast person but they have items that I like and can eat. I always try to stay at one if it is close to my destination. I make it a point to stay at the Fresno Best Western when I visit my son at Fresno State University. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

We needed a place to stay one night on our trip and I chose this hotel based on good reviews in trip advisor. I was not disappointed. The hotel was exactly what I was looking for. Clean and quiet with a good breakfast in the morning to send us on our way. I would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable stay and convenient to shopping mall, gas stations, convenience store. Parking was plentiful and secure, Also, I felt very safe for my person. Extremely pleasant staff and clean facilities.

I really enjoyed my stay. Loni was great, friendly, and very helpful. Check-in and check out was very easy. My room was very clean, comfortable, and quite. When in Fresno this is where I will stay. Very convenient location, shopping mall across the street, great restaurants in the area.

The room was very comfortable as the decor was warm and inviting. It also helps that the bed was super-comfortable and the staff was pleasant. I will definitely stay here upon future journeys to the area.

Good clean room for the price. It had what I needed. Staff was great, nice business center and lobby. The breakfast choices were OK nothing special, left a lot to be desired. Don't go in with high exceptions for breakfast. Other than the breakfast everything was great.

Huge lobby, friendly helpful staff, nice room, clean, quiet, comfortable. We stayed there after a few days at a nearby ranch, and I was able to relax and catch up on sleep. The hotel offered shuttle service free to take us to a restaurant, although theres a sub sandwich shop and a pizza place next door. They also picked me up from turning in my rental car, then back out to the airport the next day. Being so close to the airport was an advantage, but I worried if it would be quiet enough. It was excellent! My room was also near an elevator and I never heard it. Very well soundproofed room!

This hotel was a great choice. The room was nice and very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. This mornings breakfast went above our expectation. We will return to this hotel our next time in town.

Was told by night manager that with 24 hour security and nightwatch all is safe. I woke the next morning to have my car broken into and several items stolen. I learned that this was a reoccurring incident at this location. Watch out!

Love this hotel! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast offers a great selection and is yummy. The General Manager, Loni, really knows how to make the hotel feel like home. She is the reason we keep going back! It's centrally located. I travel to Fresno regularly and this is my go to place to stay.

This was such a wonderful place to stay! The staff is wonderful and since I was traveling alone Loni made me feel very safe and comfortable. The breakfast was great I loved the set up. Great stay I will be coming back next time I'm in Fresno!

We were in town for three nights for a college softball tournament. We try to stay at reasonably priced hotels and appreciate cleanliness as well as friendly staff. This place had that. All of the front desk people were great and the breakfast attendant was very pleasant and took pride in her job. The food was basic, I always get eggs and bacon, my husband made waffles. The coffee was not the greatest. For some reason we got the handicap room with a double bed so we used the sofa pull out bed as well. I would not recommend that. The mattress on that thing was terrible. The pool is not as big as it shows in the photo, but that is not why we stayed here. It was a good stay. I would go back.

The Best Western Plus was comfortable and met all our expectations. This is a standard hotel, yet the weight room and business center were a "plus". What made our stay above average was the staff that ran the front desk. We asked about good places to eat and were referred to Max's. What a treat! The gentleman behind the desk also gave us personalized directions and advice for Yosemite and Sequoia. People are what make a house a home, and the front desk staff had the personal touch. Well done!

We had a pleasant stay and Julie in the breakfast room made us feel very welcome and made our stay more enjoyable. I was disappointed that upon check out, room rates were changed but they eventually fixed it and we are happy overall with our stay.

This is a first class basic motel with lovely rooms and wonderful service. The morning breakfast was the best part of the stay. The location is directly across the street from the ONLY shopping mall in Fresno, which permits easy access to lots of restaurants, from fast food to very high end steak houses. The location is 10 minutes from downtown and a wonderful base for any Fresno stay.

We chose this hotel at the last minute for a stop in Fresno. We were so happy with it. The room was very large and comfortable. The whole place was very clean, and shops and restaurants were just across the road. The breakfast also had a good variety. Would definitely stay again, especially at such a good price.

Every month we have to come down to visit my daughters cleft pallet doctor. Its 3 hours away from our home so we have made this hotel our regular place to stay at this particular stay we had the help of a man named Patrick and he went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel comfortable. We really appreciate the kind environment provided by the staff during our journey in our daughters recovery.

Chose this hotel for its location and excellent rate. It had received excellent reviews so I gave it a try. It met and exceeded all my expectations. My room was clean, spacious and beautifully appointed. Their customer service was excellent. They had scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast plus other fresh breakfast items for the complementary breakfast. The staff was always pleasant and accommodating. They even had fresh baked cookies, as well as fresh coffee in the lobby daily. My first night I asked about getting a cab to a local restaurant (The Elbow Room) and was happily informed that they had a complementary shuttle that would come and pick us up! The hotel is located across the street from a large mall with many restaurants and stores which was very convenient. This is hands-down the best hotel in Fresno!

This was a wonderful hotel, friendly and welcoming. walking distance to the mall as well as the Cheese Cake Factory. Near hwy 41, but not so near that the noise is a bother. Some homeless in the area, but I didn't feel in danger walking home from Cheese Cake Factory about 11:30 pm. There is space in the King room to spread out if you need it.

I am in Fresno several times each year, and this is my preferred place to stay when available. Because of its reputation and location, this property frequently is booked to capacity and is not always available. There are other BW properties in the Fresno/Clovis area, but this is, by far, the superior unit. From guest services to room to breakfast to location, you will not be disappointed at this location just east of Fresno Avenue at Shaw Avenue off Hwy 41 -- and just 6 miles east of Hwy 99. Best access to the hotel for east-bound travelers is to turn north on Fresno Avenue and right at the first street, entering the hotel parking lot from the driveway at the end of the cul-de-sac. Rooms here are always fresh smelling and spotlessly clean on check-in. Some reviewers comment on the street noise if occupying one of the even numbered rooms parallel to Shaw Avenue. My only "complaint" concerns the increasingly common use of half-size bed pillow at hotels of all types. I personally find them annoying and not conducive to a good night's sleep. Having one or two full-size pillows in the room would be helpful.

No one turned off the alarm and they booked us right next to people who were up and talking loudly right by our heads :( The staff is great. The rooms are clean. The food was awesome kids had waffles freshly made and he had chirizo and eggs. Lots of breakfast choices.

Excellent, personnel are really nice and attentive. I regularly travel to Fresno for business and I would not stay at a different hotel. Always great service. I will definitely recommend this hotel. The front desk personnel make feel at home. Hotel is close to restaurant and shopping.

We were in the mobility accessible room with 1 king and a sofa bed. Bathroom was very good and wheelchair accessible, however, the tiled shower floor was slippery and we could have used a rubber mat. We had two problems with the beds. 1) Sofa bed was bad. My husband could feel every spring in the very thin mattress. He had to put a blanket down to try to cushion it more, but it was still very uncomfortable. One of those memory foam mattress pads would have been helpful. I wish you had offered it upon check in, especially if you already know the problem with the sofa beds. Better yet, it would be nice to have a different configuration for your mobility accessible room---offer two queen beds instead of just a king + sofa bed. 2) The king sized bed was too tall. It's nice for an able bodied person, but for a person in a wheelchair, it is next to impossible to get into the bed without help. You need the height of the bed to be the same as the height of the wheelchair seat in order for a person to be able to transfer to the bed independently. As it was, the height of the king sized bed was way too high and it took two of us to lift and "flop" our adult daughter onto the bed. Then we had to move her body into the correct sleeping position. Two people assisting can do it, but a wheelchair- bound person, traveling independently, would find it very difficult, if not impossible, to use your bed. Best Western needs to go a step further and not just simply comply with what the law says about square feet, door width etc. As management personnel you need to actually put yourself in the place of a wheelchair bound person and try to use your facility. We've stayed in many hotels and you aren't the only ones with the bed problem, but you would be the first to actually do something about it.

The staff makes you feel welcome when you walk thru the door.Loni was the person who welcomed us and checked us in. The hotel is located by a mall and plenty of places to eat which is very convient for "out-of-towners" since Fresno is such a large city. The breakfast was delicious and there was a nice variety. the rooms were very clean! All in all our stay was very nice and we will be staying here in the future

I have stayed here many times over the years and they are excellent. The best place to stay in Fresno. The breakfast is also excellent as are the people that run it. The rooms are clean and housekeeping does a great job. The property is safe and has night security. I have stayed there for over 20 years and have always had a good experience.

Rooms are very nice & clean for amount paid plus I got a good night's sleep because beds are really comfortable. The internet connection was hi speed & staff very helpful & courteous. The hotel is located within walking distance to mall & good restaurants & well-worth the price paid.

I stay at this hotel regularly after trying various other options in Fresno. It is probably the best value for the money in the entire region. It is newer property and the suites are especially nice. There is a hot breakfast available and the staff work hard to make you feel welcome.

To begin with , the young man on the reception desk (John) was professional yet warm. I could have been staying at an upscale motel. Then the room was particularly inviting -- just enough carpet and color to make it also warm. I had thought that it would be noisy, as the motel is located close to a very busy street, but it was very quiet.

We stayed 6 travellers in 2 rooms for a night in Fresno after visting National Sequoia Park. The hotel was comfortable, plenty of space in the rooms. Many restaurants around. Hotel Staff was very helpful. Good breakfast

My wife and I were travelling through this area and needed to stop for the night. We checked TripAdvisor and this hotel was rated very well. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the accommodations exceeded our expectations in all areas except breakfast which was mediocre. The room was such a good value in every other aspect, that we still felt the hotel deserved an "excellent" rating.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and driving directions. The hotel was very clean. We were ready to leave before the Breakfast Room was officially open but the staff member welcomed us in. It was an excellent breakfast.

This hotel goes above and beyond most. People very pleasant and could not have been more helpful. quality of food in the breakfast area was exceptional, newspapers available, business center great. Location was fantastic and hotel very quiet. The staff had even put out a basket of small Halloween treats fo rchildren and encouraged us to take them for our grandchildren.

This is the place to stay in Fresno. It is spanky new, warm hearts and hot breakfasts. They go out of their way to make this place beautiful. While Fresno & Central Valley are going through a drought, this is a place that will make you experience genuine abundance :))

Best Western Fresno inn is a great hotel to stay. We extended our stay to five nights and we are happy that we did. The gentlemen behind the desk as well as the lady that takes care of the breakfast were very helpful, interested and kind! The breakfast is good and there is always hot water and coffee in the lobby. The kingbed room was quite large and there is fast wifi. We absolutely recommend this hotel!

We stayed for 2 nights and felt this reasonably hotel was fine. We had a king suite well worth the small extra cost as it provided more space and allowed one to sleep even if the other stayed up to read. The suite has an extra small room and a second TV. Breakfast was rather poor and we even skipped it the second morning.

Staff was super nice, friendly and helpful. Location was good for me. Rooms are a decent size, clean. Breakfast was eggs and potato and coffee for me, it is included in the hotel. Wifi worked really well. Arrived in the afternoon and all seemed quiet, when I got back later that night whoever was upstairs was so noisy for hours till after midnight. Same thing in the am, sounded like a pile of monkeys. Hallway you can hear every thing. I slept with ear plugs so that helped. Beds are very hard and not comfortable for me and mine seemed to sag on one side.

Clean rooms and hallways. The room are spacious and have up to date amenities. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of parking and an airport shuttle. I wasn't here for the breakfast, but have heard it's good.

The customer service was great. The breakfast had many choices and everything was fresh. Our room (king suite) was tastefully decorated, comfortable, and up-to-date. This hotel is conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, and highway for travel. The value was good!

It was the nicest Best Western that I have stayed in hence the plus. But the area is not the newest or nicest location, however it is easy access to the highway and a few exits away from the newer area of Fresno and close to downtown. I will be back again if my usual downtown location is not available. The breakfast had more than most continental breakfasts do.

My husband and I stopped at the Best Western Plus Fresno Inn to relax for an evening. We liked it so much we stayed an extra day. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Actual rating = 3.25 The Best Western Plus in Fresno is notch above the usual Best Western accommodations. Our room with two queen beds was a bit larger than average. The bathroom though, was very small, and the single sink vanity was in the entrance-way. All areas of the room, lobby, and pool were extra clean. The pool area feels like a last minute addition the hotel, situated at the front of the building and very tiny. There might be enough space for 15 people, but no more. Check in was quick, efficient, and professional. We asked for, and received, a room on the top floor. The beds were comfortable and the A/C was surprisingly quiet. We heard no traffic noise. The complimentary breakfast was as good as any, but the breakfast room is too small to be comfortable. We returned to our room with breakfast in hand. There are 3 or 4 good restaurants within easy walking distance, located street side at the decent mall directly across the street.

I ended up staying for 11 days - much longer than planned - while in town on an energy efficient buildings research project. The entire staff was great - friendly, welcoming, and willing to go out of their way to help. Thank you to Randy, John, Mike, Christi, Julie, and others I may not have meet, but who all work together to create such a welcoming atmosphere.

Very friendly and helpful. The amenites was above board. Very excellent. The room was so awesome and the breakfast excellent. Many choice: waffles, eggs, cold cerals and several juice, hot tea or coffee.

Stayed here for one night on a trip from Tahoe to Los Angeles. Hotel was very near the highway and across the street from a mall. So... that made it a little noisy from road traffic, but very convenient to restaurants and shopping. As with most Best Westerns, the room was very comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was very good but the breakfast room was too small to accommodate all the guests staying there. We heard from one of the servers that they were going to expand that area to include some outside patio seating. A great place for one night stop.

We stayed in Fresno on our way out of California and had the best night's sleep at this hotel. It was clean, quiet, easy to get in and out of and had a friendly staff, thanks Randy! The only thing is the pool is very small as well as the hot tub and is located at the very front of the building.

We were driving from LA to Yosemite and decided to break our journey here. Pleasant hotel with old fashioned looking furnishings. Our king bed room was large with a smallish bathroom with the shower over the bath. Friendly and helpful staff at front desk. They suggested a restaurant for dinner with a courtesy bus so you could have a drink if you wanted. Numerous shopping possibilities near by. Free parking
