I apologize for sounding like a shill. 😄 I seriously love this place. Clean, friendly, well staffed, free parking, Solid breakfast. Adequate room, and all wonderful for the price. I asked for a quiet room and got one on the second floor away from the street.
The hotel is, 15 minutes from Coney Island, a must visit area of New York, located in an industrial place. In the summer, Coney Island is a fantastic place to spend time for families. Also, Brooklyn FC, the newly formed soccer team is playing in Coney Island. The rooms are spacious, and the beds allow a good nights sleep. Breakfast average.
The rooms are very clean but TINY. Lots of street noise. Bed was very comfortable. Parking is VERY limited and hotel is in a questionable part of town. Do not, I repeat, do not even attempt to eat anything from the breakfast. Everything is old, dried out and probably expired. A quart size of Coffeemate was do thick and discolored I threw my coffee away. The juice was the worst I have ever tasted. There is a VERY dirty sink next to the waffle maker that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks; and there are no paper towels. The syrup is so clogged that it doesn't even pour. Shall I go on or do you get my point? Yes, the room was nice, but for over $300 for one room???wow. Just wow.
Great stay. About a 15-20 minute walk to Coney Island or you can hop on the bus. The hotel was clean and quiet with free breakfast in the morning. I heard previous reviews complaining about the "basement" room. We had this type of room on the 1st floor and it was perfectly fine with zero issues!
The pillows were too tough , could be better quality and fluffier. Otherwise very clean and nice hotel with a good staff and convenient location. Front desk was really helpful and provided helpful information and service. Car service phone number was provided upon request. We are very satisfied.
Nice staff Silent area no noises Okay for general clean room Not generous for the breakfast You have to take an Uber if you wish to eat at the nearest restaurant I will choose another hotel next time Price so expensive for the area when you can get cheaper in central Brooklyn
This is our check list for our stay at this hotel: Room-clean but carpet have some stains. Very small room Bed-decent comfort level but its only double beds so the space is really tight. Refrigerator-yes Microwave-no Breakfast-yes decent breakfast Bathroom-clean Toilet-clean/doesn't clog Shower-good pressure on the shower/just need to upgrade the shower head to a nice one Air-condition - works good/not noisy Smell - doesn't smell when you enter room or lobby Area seems safe. Very close to the famous Coney Island boardwalk. View-no Pool - no pool at this property Built-2018 renovated 2019 Price $200/night/summer/Sunday Overall this is an average hotel to stay at for just an overnight stay. If you are planning to venture out the city, this is just a good option for just sleeping in. No extra amenities like pools. Also a little high for the price but everything in New York is pricey. Also just watch out for tiny bugs outside which probably normal around here or this time of the month. Luckily we didn't see anything in the lobby or our room.
If your visiting family in Coney Island or just visiting C.I. to enjoy a day out. This is the spot you wanna be. You can stayed parked and walk to rides or catch the bus to see your people. The room is clean and the breakfast in the morning is a bonus....
The place was very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. There is free parking (so important in Brooklyn), breakfast, and internet. Lots of families so felt very safe. Hotel itself is out of the way but it is close to public transportation so can easily get to other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan.
The service was great. The hot breakfast was very good. The short walk to Coney Island boardwalk was perfect. The room was also great.
This hotel is just a short 1 mile walk from Coney Island in Brooklyn. It offers free parking and free breakfast. It's a great value for the area.
I am an avid traveler and have stayed in many hotels. This is a great hotel, a great price and location. Even though it looks a little sketchy, It is fine. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is really good, it's close to Coney Island, the wifi works well, overall a great stay!
I was very happy with the cleanliness of this hotel, it's a bit more expensive than some of the other best westerns around but definitely worth the quality. Really good options at the free breakfast, wish it went until 11 am
I was there for the night, great place privacy, Internet and there's parking available too. I will definitely come back here. And the Boardwalk is like a 12 minute walk close to Nathen‘s and all varieties of restaurants nearby.
This location is at the end of the block next to the police lot and an small industrial complex. It was also .5 miles from the train station so totally walkable. Dining options less so. It was very clean and the staff were amazing. I think the price point for this hotel should be a little lower than what we paid but we understand that a lot of people use this hotel to go to Coney Island, but that was not our purpose.
The staff is friendly, the price is good. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The location is close to the parkway. It is a nice walk to the beach. My family has stayed here whenever we visit NY. It's close to public transportation.
This location is about a mile from the beach/boardwalk/Cyclones stadium. The room was small but perfect for our little family for an overnight stay. The room was clean and comfortable ana breakfast 2as delicious.
Convenient location and the rooms are great. The shower and the bathroom at this location are wonderful.. will be staying here again. I do recommend this hotel, if your in the Coney Island area, within distance of the rides.
The rooms were very nice but small. Free parking was a plus! The location wasnt the best but using Lyft/Uber to get to Coney Island and the subway was very smooth. People were very nice! Would stay again
Great place to stay for coney island. Very close. The beds were clean and comfy. Breakfast was good, Hot breakfast with egg omlette with cheese, breakfast sausage, make yore own waffles, country potatoes, juice dispenser, cereal, bagels, and more. Staff was super friendly. Even though website and Expedia showed no luggage storage, I emailed and called to see if they offered it and they said yes. We arrived at 9am and they have us a room instead. Area isn't that great but after walking to coney island, the whole area wasn't great, it's an industrial, commercial area. We walked back from coney island at 9pm with no issues. There were a lot of other tourist walking around too. The subway is close by. We took it to Brooklyn Bridge and chinatown. I'd stay here again if going to coney island.
The hotel itself isn't bad, the room was more than comfortable for NY. Check in was easy after the quest before me asked for everything and the moon. I was granted a noon check out, it is in weird location and yes not much parking. We were able to walk to Coney Island but it was super sketchy. It served the purpose of being close to the running event I was attending. Bed is comfortable but pillows are small, they were happy to give me one more.
My girlfriend and I planned a last minute trip to Coney Island for her birthday and ended up booking here because it was the first hotel that came up in the area. We were very pleased with our stay. The front desk staff were super friendly and provided us with everything we needed. The room itself was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The bed was clean and comfortable and we had zero issues during our stay. We would definitely recommend to anyone and will stay again if we are ever back in the area!!
Between the poor customer service received from "Son", loud environment even for new York city and the horrendous "continental" breakfast I would never again stay anywhere at or near this best western.
It was good . Employers are very good. Breakfast was good. But some guests' attitude was very unprofessional. They were trying to grab as much as they can . So when we were there, we saw very little food.
This hotel, like all Best Westerns I have stayed at, was efficient at check-in, clean, and with a good selection of free basic breakfast foods and the always appreciated waffle station. It has the distinction of being located in New York City, within walking distance of the Coney Island subway station (and Coney Island itself), a location that is not appreciated by most tourists. The location itself seems to worry some, but it is located in an area of many auto repair shops and a police impound lot, and therefore security nearby is visible. We walked several times from the subway to the hotel and back, and always felt safe. We would use this hotel again as a base for a low-cost NYC vacation. With an MTA pass and a sense of adventure, you can discover the city for half the price of a Manhattan hotel.
I am always in good hands and everyone is friendly. They always trying to get me to the room as so as possible. and the location is great. The staff is fantastic. And the prices are always great. love BEST WESTERN
The room was clean, but very small. There was barely room to walk around the bed. And the neighborhood wasn't the best. It was on an industrial block, and the view from the room looked like a junkyard in the back of the house behind. I saw 4 rats running around some boxes that were placed next to a garbage bin in the parking lot (would have been better for all trash to be in a sealed dumpster). Overall it was fine and fairly inexpensive, but I would go elsewhere next time.
I have to pay US$ 75 for a 2.5 hour late check out, although I regularly stay in this hotel. So, instead of 12:00 I checked out at 2:30 and has to pay the extra price. Breakfast was very very basic with very limited choice.
I really enjoyed staying here for 2 weeks on the 5th floor and would definitely stay again. Location - You are closest to the D train at 205 Street, but You can easily walk to Coney Island / The BoardWalk/ Stillwell avenue from here so you can take a Q or R train too. There is a laundromat, liquor store, deli, and grocery within a 12 min walk from here on Neptune ave. I recommend the Khaled Deli for your lunches, it's very cheap and really tasty. This hotel is only a 25min drive from JFK airport. Room - Clean, and spacious with wardrobe space and desk space to work from. Coffee machine/ TV/Wifi. Staff - Desk and Housekeeping, maintenance, and the manager were all really friendly, really attentive, and helpful to anything I asked for. Fitness Centre - This are no weights here, its a very small room that only has a running machine and bike. Breakfast - I wasnt a bigt fan of the egg and sausaage, its very sloppy, but this review is based on a 2 star hotel. I personally stuck to oats, yogurt and fruit which set me up fine. Extras - You can buy Sodas, unlimited free tea and coffees....emergency allergy and pain killers. Plus snacks. 2 x Ice machines. I felt comfortable here and I would come back :)
The management and staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is like a hidden gem! It was very clean and exactly what we needed for our overnight stay. Very easy walk to Coney Island and easily accessible for ubers or a quick walk to the subway.
I had business matters to attend. The stay was pleasant, allowed me to get my rest with no interruptions so I can continue about my day. I have had terrible experiences with airbnb and never had a terrible experience with hotels. I would definitely stay here again.
This BW offered us more value than what we actually paid for our stay in all aspects. Friendly and professional front desk. Quick and quiet housekeeping. Acceptable distance from the subway station and nearby bus stop. Wide open free parking spaces. Both the hosts and guests were great!
Well located and good service, Moderately comfortable bed. Bathroom good. Shower had the minimum necessary (Having option of a hand held shower head would be a plus.) Temperature regulation worked out. Temperature regulation worked out.
Drove down to NYC for my nephew's birthdays. Got to do a lot of things I missed out on not being able to come home home as often due to Covid. Hotel was in a great spot to get to all the things I wanted to do. Very safe.
This is a small hotel, a10 minute walk from Coney Island boardwalk. The block is commercial/industrial/residential, a bit tucked away, off the beaten path. There's a parking lot but it can be limited. The breakfast room is small, the food good. While amenities are limited the staff and front desk were helpful and genuinely courteous both times we've stayed. Rooms are clean. There's a cozy feel to this place, we'd definitely stay again.
I wasn't expecting to find such a charming family-run hotel in this neighborhood - this hotel was a pleasant surprise in so many ways, from the terrific free breakfast to the super-easy bus ride (or 15-min walk) over to the beach. Not sure I'll ever go back to Coney Island, but if I did this would be my #1 choice to stay at!
I like this Best Western Brooklyn-Coney Island Inn for my Brooklyn visits because it is relatively close (1.8 miles) to my favorite Brooklyn Russian banya (Mermaid Spa), and is only 0.5 miles from a subway station (Neptune Ave). It is very clean and not noisy, the staff are helpful and pleasant, the room is comfortable with a wide bed, and there is a good continental breakfast.
Bed was very comfortable. The shower had very low water pressure. Room was very clean and spacious. Very convenient to coney island/luna park. The front desk staff was very professional and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I happen to be in the area
Very clean and pretty modern. A standard corporate hotel in a pretty quiet industrial section of Brooklyn. The only negative is the very tiny parking lot which can be concerning if you come late in the evening.
The staff in the Gregory Best Western, Brooklyn are exceptional helpful. They genuinely want their customers to have a good experience. The hotel is very clean, and the prices reasonable. It is situated in an established tree-lined neighbourhood. We felt safe. We also found it easy to get to Manhattan, there is a local bus to Downtown Brooklyn then a walk over Brooklyn Bridge, also the subway and taxi cabs. We enjoyed our stay there
We came to New York for a family event. We returned to the hotel late Saturday to find the parking lot full. The night clerk at the front desk saw us looking and looking for a park. He came out and moved his car so that we may park come in and rest. I would like to thank him again and all of the Best Western Staff. That kind of service is what is needed and it exceeded my expectations.
Recently I was an overnight guest at the Best Western Coney Island Inn hotel in Brooklyn. In the early morning I discovered a cockroach running around the sink in the bathroom. My instinct was to kill it and flush it. I did just that. I reported the incident to the manager at the Hotel Desk. He chastised me for not taking a picture of the roach! After all, how could he be sure there was a roach, if I didn't photograph and prove it! Upon seeing a roach, my first inclination should have been to politely ask the roach to hold it's position while I get my phone and then smile while I take its picture. Really! There is so much wrong with this. First and foremost it demonstrates a total lack of concern about a health hazard. It is the worst example of customer service possible. The response indicates total indifference and even indirectly accuses me of lying. This hotel doesn't have much going for it to begin with but this will keep me away on my next business trip to Coney Island.
front desk lady was super helpful and kind she let us check in early without additional cost. Everyone helpful. Breakfast is great . Parking is free which is really good in a place like Brooklyn. We have revisited them many times
Stayes at this location and the staff was very unprofessional and rude to me. When i asked for a refund they told me no. I said im calling corporate and they said so what. Stay away from here. When i asked for the manager i was told call corporate after i was lied to about the room i requested. I orderwd dinner and they made me come downstairs to get it which is not normal becase they always allow room deliveries provided they are wearing a mask. I forgot to add, im a wheelchair accessible customer and i was mistreated by the staff here. I called ahead of time to secure my room and was lied to. I asked could i transfer to another hotel and was told no. I asked for a name and they refused to give it to me and i asked for tbe manager name and they failed to share that as well. I finally was given then name of a gentleman named who was the gentlemam that i spoke with on the phone before i arrived and Randy Huang. He was very nasty to me.
Located in a warehouse area, it seemed an unlikely location for a hotel; however, we were pleasantly surprised. A professional staff. A clean room in which everything worked. A police department parking facility adjacent. A decent breakfast offering. Reasonable room rates. We felt comfortable and safe.
Working on a project in Brooklyn and needed to stay the night. Searched online for a safe, well lit, and known hotel in the city. First choice: Best Western! Well lit parking lot (next to police and fire dept-so I felt very safe). The rooms were more than perfect! Great classy and clean location! Breakfast was really a great bonus! It was as sit down or grab a sandwich on you way out the door!
Hotel is clean, no musty smell. The personnel are there to help any way they can. The rooms are typical chain type room, but the bed was comfortable and the towels were not scratchy. AND they have a free parking lot, which in any part of NYC and the boroughs is not easy. One night we came back late from a business meeting and there were no spots, the gentleman at the front desk moved his car so we could have his spot, most accommodating. Breakfast was typical and the coffee was excellent. I would definitely stay again. The hotel was also very convenient to where our gala event was being held - 8 minutes exactly!!! perfect. If you are looking for ambiance, not the right choice, but if you are looking for a great place to stay 2 blocks or so from Coney Island, this is your hotel for pleasure or business
We stayed for 2 nights to give the kids a day at Coney Island and as a jumping-off point to explore the Jersey Shore. The staff was very nice. When we arrived, our room wasn't ready but they allowed us to store our bags behind the front desk while we went out to park. The room was small but clean and my kids loved the free breakfast. I do have two negatives... 1) The lack of any sort of mask policy for guests. My wife and I are vaxxed but we were traveling with our two kids under 12 years old. The breakfast area was packed on the morning we left and we were the only ones masked up (aside from the hotel employee replenishing the food). I realize this is a little out of the hotel's control, but it would have been nice for them to have a visible policy posted in the breakfast area and outside/inside the elevator - where we were often stuck riding with unmasked guests. We had just come from 3 days in NYC where virtually everybody was masked in our previous hotel and every indoor venue we visited. 2) The parking lot is very small - not enough spots for each guest - and street parking is very limited. I had to run out to the grocery store and when I returned all the spots were taken. After circling the neighborhood for a few minutes I came back and lucked out as someone was leaving a street spot in front of the hotel. If you're booking this hotel because it's close to Coney Island, be aware that you probably don't want to walk there with your kids. The area is pretty rough - which is evident by the sign in the parking lot that basically says: "We're not responsible if your car is broken into." You're better off taking Uber so you'd don't lose your parking spot and so you don't have to pay the exorbitant parking rates at Coney.
I'd come here again and again. Its a great and welcoming staff. The rooms are small but they have everything you need. No, you don't stay here for the view. You stay to hang out in Brooklyn, go to coney island, and enjoy friends and family. The breakfast was amazing and the facilities were updated.
Walking distance to Park. 15 Minute walk. Neighborhood is sketchy. Right off the Beltway. Nice clean hotel with small parking lot once you find it.OK breakfast. Helpful staff. Close to Coney Island attractions.
very nice motel, conveniently located to where I needed to be, fairly priced, clean, good front desk, and convenient parking. previous stays in Brooklyn were disappointing - dirty, noisy, bad parking, noisy - this place was surprisingly very good
Quiet area with parking lot, some traffic noise but bearable, clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Was here many times and very pleased. Would recommend this location. Plan to go back when need hotel.
The location was convenient. Near the D train subway station. And if you felt up to it, Coney Island is walking distance. They have a decent size parking lot too. I plan on using this location in the near future!
As reported, the bed is a bit hard but not a problem. Parking is a potential issue but we had a spot each night. There are a few spots on the street. Breakfast was strictly if you need it. Staff was really super nice and very accommodating. For those of you who have not experienced Brooklyn before, it can appear as if the area was not nice, it is perfectly safe. The subway is within walking distance. Easy on and off the Belt Parkway. Nathan's is very near. L&B Spumoni Gardens is also near. Some rooms near a little updating or fixes.
Great overnight trip, room was clean, bed was comfortable, I would definitely there stay again. Breakfast was delicious but the friendliness of the staff was the biggest asset. Excellent customer service
The hotel looks nice inside and out. Driving there yourself you're able to see if from the freeway, however if you're using public transportation you might wonder if you're in the right area because it's not in an area that looks as if a hotel is there. Staff could be friendlier. Breakfast has lots of healthy options, which was very nice. The rooms are nice as well; only had one problem with the linen. Called the front desk about it and by the time we returned it was rectified.
I had an overnight stay and the room was clean, quiet, well appointed and reasonably priced. Staff were very helpful and while my friends at another local hotel were unable to get hot water in the morning, I had a great shower.
This hotel was very nice looking from the outside, clean and well-lit. It looks new so the carpet, walls, and all furnishings were in great shape. My room was small but I didn't need a lot of room, and the bathroom was a good size. It was very clean, the heater worked well (very cold during my stay) and quiet because most businesses on the street are closed at night. I especially like that the blanket was encased in sheets on either side. The people at the desk were friendly and the breakfast was great, especially liked the fresh waffles, potatoes and fruit. The area around the hotel was a little "sketchy" but only at night; I chose not to walk there from the subway but Lyft and Uber were available. During the day I saw no issues with walking. I recommended it to people and would stay here again.
Hotel is at clam place and its in very secured area. Behavior of the staffs are very friendly and they will always in smiling face. Breakfast is same for everyday, That can be bit boring if you are staying for a long time.
This is a small chain hotel located in a side street of a semi industrial part of Brooklyn. The Metro is five minutes walk from the location and a short journey from Brooklyn or Coney Island with a journey time of approx one hour to NYC. The hotel was clean throughout and we returned to a clean room and bathroom on each of the seven days of our visit. he breakfast is enough to start the day. The hotel is given a friendly and comfortable feeling by the staff who make guests feel welcome with smiles and help. They are unfailingly cheerful and helpful making a stay in a small chain hotel an excellent experience.
I just stayed at the Best Western in Coney Island for two evenings. The staff was very accommodating, the room was clean and quiet, and there was a sufficient selection of breakfast items. I would certainly stay here again.
I know the area well so I knew where I was going to. For some tourist it may be strange, lets face it - it is remote and weird, but hotel is an oasis. Clean, great people, close to highway. Expensive.
We really liked this hotel. It is very clean and new, and the staff goes out of their way to help. I'd like to address a review made here. The curtains are over the air conditioner. Put anything you have in front of them and voila! Solved. (We used their iron and a bottle of water. The area is by a concrete company, and there isn't anything right next store in terms of restaurants. But within a 5 minute walk is the subway, and a wonderful Italian deli/bakery, Bread Plus Bakery. Nearby are many other eating places. The neighborhood is perfectly safe during the day, I wouldn't really wander many places in NYC after it gets late. We had no problems with parking, but it is a small lot (It's not a big hotel). We enjoyed the breakfast. If we needed to stay in this area again I would definitely stay here.
Went for a wedding reception at the Riviera at Coney Island. This hotel was right down the street. 1 min driving distance. Brand new, clean, very friendly staff who went out of their way to accomodate. Even calculated for me how long in advance to call a cab to get to the wedding on time, they even called me the cab. Room was clean, nice modern décor. This hotel has it's own parking. Staff at the Riviera Catering Hall were surprised there was such a nice hotel just down the street and they will be recommending this hotel to guests. Waffle breakfast is included and very good. If I ever have to stay the night at Coney Island again, I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
Stayed here for a few days with friends at the beginning of August-about 15 minute walk to Coney Island and a 5 minute Uber so fantastic location. Hotel staff were awesome! Very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great too!
When researching a hotel to stay for our 5 day trip to New York City our criteria was: - Reasonable Price /Cleanliness - Proximity to Public Transit - Reviews from other travelers The hotel clicked yes to all of our needs. The front desk went beyond the call of duty as they acted as “ Concierge “ to answer all our questions and needs !! Thank you to Fred H. And Aung M. ( They should be commended!! The rooms were very clean !! Side note... My son left his new iPad in the room and we did not notice until 3/4 of the trip home. We phoned the hotel and they said they found it and we are arranging it have it sent back to us !! Thank you again to Housekeeping for this and to the entire staff ( The Burma Bunch) my son wants to stay there again next year
This Best Western is hands down a place I would stay again. Staff was awesome. The evening manager even gave his parking space up for two nights so I could park my vehicle. Parking is limited, but we would get back to the hotel late evening and the parking would be full. Breakfast was just as great and had a good variety of stuff to choose from. Did I mention I slept like a rock, very comfortable beds. Very clean rooms.
Location: IT IS IN THE HOOD!!! Thank goodness for the seemingly inactive police station across the street. Very dirty area with a lot of industrial businesses. Upon pulling up it wasn't clear where you enter as the entrance is below sidewalk level. Parking: GOOD LUCK. There's only around 15-20 spots for the entire place. AND YOU CANNOT PARK ON THE STREET IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING. We were here in the middle of the week and barely made it for the last spot. We asked the front desk attendant what do you do if there is no parking left. Her response was "You are checking out before the weekend so we usually don't run out of parking during the week." Pretty much parking is first come first serve. The "We are not responsible for stolen items" signs on each parking spot was a lovely touch to remind you where you were. (As if you couldn't look around and see for yourself) Checkin: Checkin was smooth. Front desk staff was nice. We were able to check in early. Lobby is small. Upon reaching our room, there was a stench coming from the unemptied trash can in the hallway. Also vending machines were empty forcing you to purchase from the lobby. Room: Room poorly designed. Empty big closet space with a small ironing board and iron...but a huge armoire elsewhere in the room. Either put it in the closet space or save money and just put up bars in the unused closet space. It made the room feel much more closed in. Curtains were off the rail and directly over the ac unit so at night when the curtains are shut the air blows behind the curtain trapping the air and blowing the curtains around. Chair had a questionable red stain on it. Crumbs on the floor in the corner. Plenty of outlets for electronic devices. Bed was comfortable. No view. Shower was a 3 out of 10. It was clean however water pressure was almost non existent. It was like they were rationing it out. There are 3 pumps in the shower/tub combo. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The pumps barely gave any product so it was pointless. Decided not to wash my hair because of the trickling water pressure. Oh and no duvets. Just the fleece inside two flat sheets...yuck. Housekeeping: They were nice. We opted not to have the room cleaned and just gave them our trash. Once the guy heard that we didn't want our room cleaned he said ok and took the do not disturb sign off the door, reached AROUND my husband to put the sign on the inside of the door. I wasn't dressed but he didn't see me because my husband was standing there and he only stuck his arm in but he could have just left it on the door. He was nice but maybe just a cultural difference. Breakfast: The two guys feverishly running back and forth in such a teeny space made me anxious. They were working hard but food items were coming out individually making it impossible to make a plate without having to heat it up. Potatoes were a few degrees from raw. Sausage overcooked. Very small area for the size of the hotel. I can't imagine weekends!! Checkout...To be continued.
I enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Coney Island. The staff was so accomodating and facilitated so much during our stay which was in July during a heatwave. They offered us cold water bottles before leaving, they let us check in early, they were always courteous towards my family and I. The breakfast was generous and the location is perfect for people wanting an area close to the amusement park, beach and aquarium. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
Very nice, spacious, clean and modern room with a good bed. Close to Coney Island beach (15 mins walk). Super friendly staff who are very customer centric and give excellent service. Their neighbour Best Western Plus Brooklyn Bay certainly could learn from these guys. Change of hotel to Best Western Brooklyn Coney Island Inn was truly the right decision.
Fred, the concierge and front desk host was the highlight of our hotel experience. His responsiveness was immediate, his effort to accommodate our comforts was extraordinary, his personality and humor was fun and professional, and he appeared that our pleasure and satisfaction was important. The complimentary continental breakfast had everything but hot chocolate. The location was perfectly situated for access to Coney Island and the N.Y. Subway to anywhere with tasty food within comfortable walking distance and located adjacent to the local NYPD station. Fred treated us like royalty, as though we were his only guests...we are not, and Fred had a full hotel that he hustled to accommodate and treat them the same way!
Hotel is clean and new. Great selection for free breakfast. Onsite parking. Not the best neighborhood. Farther from Coney Island then I expected. In an industrial area that is noisy during the day and too dark at night.
