Loved it here. Very funky decor. Fabulous staff. Very popular. Parking underneath was a bonus. Lovely restaurant indoors and out. Delicious food. Quiet and very comfortable sleep.

Nice hotel, quite basic for a Best Western, but was clean and staff were friendly. Good location for stopover for our trip into Italy. We were in a superior room which was in the annex part of the hotel. It was quiet, the bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. There was a safe, kettle and great air con. Shower was great and bathroom nice and roomy with hairdryer. Great free parking in a gated & coded car park. The gates were closed at 11pm. Safe parking was essential for us. Breakfast was very good, with good selection of food, staff were friendly. You can stroll to restaurants nearby. There was McDonalds and KFC within an easy stroll if that's your thing. We'd stay here again as the hotel proved great value and in a good location.

We stayed here for one night because we had an early train to catch in Grenoble. The room was fine. The view and balcony were wonderful, and the front desk staff were very helpful. This hotel could use some sprucing up. It was clean, but worn.

We needed a base in centre of Grenoble for a family event. Front of house team accommodated our changing needs superbly, with clear communication and check-back to ensure all was correct. Hotel was spotless, beds & pillows very comfortable, shower facilities terrific, air-con was great (mid-30s during our stay) and a good breakfast available if needed.

THE best hotel and staff in Grenoble. A massive thank you to Wendy, Erwan, Justin, Camille and France for the incredible support and kindness they showed in April. My son had a ski accident, and was airlifted to Grenoble where he was in ICU for a week. We needed a hotel nearby, urgently. Wendy, Erwan and the team were just wonderful. They organised flexible accommodation, guided us on local services, showed empathy, and support. They took care of everything. I cry when I think back to that week, and how kind and caring everyone was. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are understated luxury, relaxing, and spacious. A tram run from just 1 minute away direct to the hospital. The hotel is in the heart of the shopping areas, and just 5 minutes walk from the cable car to the viewpoint. I'm pleased to say my son is making a full recovery. Emergency or not, this is the best hotel in Grenoble for location, quality and service. Thank you

Beautiful and peaceful. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The 205 restaurant is a great place for dinner while staying there, and the breakfast buffet is amazing. We didn't stay in the chateau but in one of the annexes, and the rooms were very nice. The spa is quite good, unfortunate that the larger swimming pool is outside and closed during the colder months. But we went in late Summer as well and being able to swim outside was a great plus as well. I love the surrounding grounds, the beautiful forest, the nature; it's very peaceful to simply walk around.

A great location. Lovely hotel and helpful staff. The room was big and clean with comfortable bedding. This is the only place we'd stay in Grenoble.

This is a beautiful hotel in a peaceful and quiet location, surrounded by nature and even goats, sheep and donkeys onsite! The location is quite remote, so you'll need to travel about 10 minutes by car if you want to eat somewhere other than the hotel. Food was good but not that many vegetarian choices (but that's expected for the region!). Hugo on reception had a fantastic attitude; kind, patient, welcoming and helpful. They somehow managed to host a business group while accommodating them in a different part of the hotel, which helped maintain the peace and quiet we were seeking - thank you and well done! The spa is great with a beautiful, warm pool, jacuzzi and multi-setting poolside shower with atmospheric music, it's like instead of you singing in the shower, the shower sings to you! It would benefit from a slightly better layout as there were not many sun loungers around the pool, but otherwise a wonderful set up. I had an amazing Indonesian massage with Jocelyn, which I highly recommend as it combines breathing exercises as a top and tail to the massage, deepening the experience and helping you relax. She is a fantastic therapist, very kind, caring and an amazing masseuse, and did her best despite the language barrier! The one thing I would pull them up on is possibly just a design flaw. While the room was clean, spacious and comfortable (including a great bed), the handles to bathroom door and cupboards were only holes small enough to fit your finger through, making it awkward and strenuous to open and close them - very odd and possibly difficult for people with physical difficulties. Otherwise a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it! Thank you :)

I stayed 2 nights at the grand hotel and I had a good experience. The rooms were refurbished not too long ago and were clean, quite spacious. The bedding was good, the mattress super comfortable. The only down for me was the room temperature was 25 degrees. The heat controls were not working properly. I tried to bring it down to 19 and it was not doing it. I alerted the front desk before i went out and they said they'd monitor it . By the time I came back hours later it was still 25 degrees, so i struggled to sleep. My room faced rue de la Republique, but as it's closed to traffic, there was not much noise...I could just hear a few people speaking "in the distance", the double glazing did its job. The noise realy was not a problem and I am a light sleeper. The hotel is bang in the town centre and a minute walk to the Tramway which will take you to the Station. Nearby (ie 1mn walk) you'll find a Starbucks, a Croissanterie if you want a coffee and pastries, and a MONOPRIX for your toiletries and other bits, a pharmacy, a sushi take away. A bit further you'll find a carrefour City (4mn walk) and lots and lots of clothes shops, restaurants, bars etc Breakfast comes with 2 options: €12 for pastries and coffee, of €21 for the breakfast buffet. Whilst the room has a coffee machine and a couple of coffee pods, I would have liked to have some tea...... The room had a large screen TV, USB ports for charging phones etc, a small desk and shelves for your handbag etc, a mini bar, a safe, and storage space for your clothing. Towels were fresh and soft Shower pressure is more than enough and you have an overhead shower head and a handheld shower head. Shampoo and shower gel are complimentary, as well as soap and body cream by the sink. Blackout curtains are good, I was able to have a nap late aternoon without the light disturbing me (nor the street hubbub). Overall, I am pleased with my stay and will come back.

The hotel is a little hard to find amidst the one-way streets in downtown Grenoble. However, the location is great and right in the middle of things. Very easy to walk to the Telepherique and lots of restaurants. The staff at the hotel was great bringing me extra towels and cutlery so we could eat breakfast in our room after purchasing food at the local Monoprix, right across the street. We really liked the free sparkling water in the lobby area. You could take a carafe to your room.
