Description

At the foot of the Chartreuse natural park, the Best Western Voiron Centre is a three-star hotel with a modern, warm feel, well placed as the starting point for the region. About ten minutes from a business park and an easy reach of Grenoble, with a partner restaurant serving French cooking with seasonal produce, a 24-hour reception, and free parking. Two modular meeting rooms and a lively co-working space round out the stay, well suited for a business trip or a base for the outdoors. The mountain setting keeps the trails close at hand. Voiron sits below the chartreuse massif, the limestone range that gives its name to the famous green and yellow liqueur once distilled by its monks, with the cellars where it matures, the Grande Chartreuse monastery in its high forest, and the hiking, cycling, and ski trails of the range close by. From the town the wooded ramparts of the chartreuse rise steeply to the east.

Location is really good, central Voiron.Lots of options within walking distance. Secure parking.Friendly ccommodating staff.Room with kitchenette was nice and spacios.Bed big and comfortable.No problems with wifi or cleaning or anything else..I really liked our stay(4 nights)

The hotel staff was very welcoming and professional. We dined in the restaurant attached to the hotel and found the service to be good and the dishes original and tasteful. The rooms were clean and very quiet. The hotel car park is also a positive point.

The room is small and functional: everything was clean and tidy. The mattress was firm and very good: the room was facing the main street and inside the room the street was very high, although the window was closed.

Room very small and rather claustrophobic. Excellent staff, good breakfast and very good dinner. Nice situation in the middle of the town. Beautiful park opposite with interesting trees and RED squirrels.

The rooms are very basic with the a/c hardly working. Do not attempt breakfast here. There is literally enough for one grown man to eat first thing in the morning. The front desk staff are rude and unhelpful. We were there on business and found it not even close to accommodating.
