"Brilliant location"

This is a good hotel. Fantastic location right beside the lake, free on site parking and half decent facilities. The welcome from the reception staff was pretty poor and the indoor pool wasn't the cleanest, but the room was a good size and clean. The balcony was a fantastic addition and as we were at the front the view was spectacular. We never ate at the hotel as there are loads of places locally to eat but there's a small bar with a good selection of drinks. The hotel is a 20/30 odd mintue walk away from the town centre but I guess a taxi wouldn't be too expensive. An enjoyable stay and would return.

I really enjoyed my stay. The front desk staff were always very helpful and polite. The room was simple but clean and very comfortable. The spa area was a nice bonus and kept really clean. Excellent location.

Very large very nice 2 room family suite. I liked this small hotel. Right next door to an absolutely beautiful park and just a couple blocks away from all the action of the shopping district. Nice pool, sauna and steamroom.

"Great location with good facilities"

Great location with good facilities, we stayed as part of a motorcycle trip. There was parking for the bikes outside the hotel. Rooms large, clean with good AC and a balcony for drying clothes. Indoor pool was good was warm in summer. Located near the beach and local swimming pool. We walked from the railway station which is 1.5 miles away

"Good hotel with a few flaws"

Stayed one night. Well located and quiet. Clean, reasonably spacious room. A/C worked well. Comfortable beds, although the pillows were quite flat. There were no extra pillows. There were power sockets near both beds, but other sockets were poorly located (under the desk). Room amenities included electric kettle and minifridge. Bathroom with toilet separate from sink and tub. There was only half a roll of toilet paper, and no spare roll. The shower head holder was broken, and the shower head was hanging facing the wall. Average wifi. Breakfast buffet with good selection, with great views from the terrace.

"Fabulous stopover hotel"

Awesome family room and spa facilities. Family suite was two well sized rooms, both with yes and separate toilets. Main room also had large bathroom with bath shower and separate walk in shower plus 2 large sinks. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Only thing that spoilt it was the back wall of the maim bedroom, I'm sure it was a design feature but to us it just look like a white wall with black mould all over it, so a bit off putting to begin with. Room was immaculate with 4 robes and slippers. Did I say we had 2 toilets? :) Next best thing was spa, pool was at a perfect temp, as was the jacuzzi which seats around 6 people. A nice sauna and hamman/ steam room. The only negative was the lift was out of action so we all had to use the tiny service lift. Which only accommodated 3 people and was very slow. Plenty of underground parking too. If it had a restaurant or did snacks all day and into evening it would have been perfect. Highly recommend this hotel. Aix les bains not so much, bit of a ****hole tbh. Stopover on the way to annecy and strasbourg.

"Awful hotel with no aur condition and no wi-fi"

If by 29-32 C heat in shade and you're looking for a hotel without the promised air conditioning, you'll make the right choice by booking a room at the Best Western Aquakub Hotel, in Aix le Bains. If you're looking for a hotel with non-functional wi-fi, you‘ll make the right choice. At reception you will only hear lame excuses - we are working on it, there are not enough spare parts to fix the air conditioning, we can't do anything at the moment, there are no otherf vacant rooms. If on your words that your elderly parents of 85 and 81 years old are suffiring in the room from the heat and want to hear pathetic excuses and in the back of you laughing reception staff, then you need definitely to this hotel. I am not talking about the fact that many sockets in the rooms do not work, in the bathroom there is not a single towel for hands, it is impossible to call from the room - there is a call, but voices are not heard, that the hotel does not change the second day burned out bulb in the corridor at the wardrobe, that in the room for two persons there are only 5 hangers for clothes and they at your request do not add them, then it means that you - masochists and you luke torture.. We have made Booking.com aware of these glaring shortcomings and want travellers on other platforms to stay away from this hotel.

"Don't recommend"

There was no sauna & the masseuse is also the person whom checked us in. The room was alright. The internet and signal was horrible. The sauna was closed. We stayed with our newborn it was alright but we would have loved for amenities & facilities to be better like the sauna to be working, the breakfast outside to be free from bird droppings & a massage that we would be asked about our pressure and not feel like we're getting scolding when we ask about the pressure.

"A Beautiful Stay"

I arrived on 13th September and stayed until 19th September and had a truly marvellous stay. Reception was very welcoming and staff very friendly and more than happy to speak English because regretfully I do not speak French, always smiling and greeting no matter what time of day you were in or out. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, lovely decor, and great facilities including air con shower superb and although it seemed to be open to the room it could actually be screened off, room was serviced every day complimentary water on first day of arrival plus tea making facility. My room had a nice view out towards the Alps and the hotel itself is very central to the main centre and to travel to other places so a great location. There is a swimming pool, spa, sauna and fitness room. Lovely small lounge downstairs behind reception with complimentary coffee. Would I stay at this hotel again, yes most definitely. Would I recommend this hotel - yes indeed without any hesitation. Thank you Urban Hotel and to all your Staff

"Comfortable and functional"

We found a clean and functional room, with two bottles of local water ad a gift. The toilet with shower and washbasin is open to the room but the toilet is separate. The furnishings are minimal but very colourful. The electrical sockets are in the right place. Much attention paid to environmental sustainability and compliance with anti covid hygiene standards. Reception staff professional but a little slow.
