Sure Hotel by Best Western St-Amand-les-Eaux

We used this hotel for a transit purpose, and I think it worked out alright, but I would consider it a better value, if it was about 10 EUR per night cheaper. Free parking, polite chap on the reception. The room was clean, albeit with clear signs of wear and tear. Complimentary bottle of water and tea&coffee (which we made use of). Shower was well-equipped, and I liked the fact that the dispenser had reasonably good cosmetics. The two major setbacks regarding the room: 1. the WiFi was rather weak. 2. It was rather damp and we couldn't figure out how to make AC fix this. We slept reasonably alright, as we had to get going early next morning, however, it was possible to have breakfast as early as 6:30 AM. Breakfast was....not too bad, the ingredients were alright and it helped us last till lunch. Coffee was horrendous though, and the self-service tray return area was a little tricky to navigate.

Hotel is more or less OK (except for the very poor quality of the internet connection which constantly gets interrupted). But the shooting range right next to the hotel is the main reason not to stay there. In the weekend from 10 in the morning all day long until 8 in the evening there is shooting going on making it impossible to stay in the hotel durung the day. Even with the windows closed.

Very nice hotel and friendly and serviceminded staff. The hotel is near a shopping area but quite location. Great breakfast for the price of the room. Parking at hotel area. Not easy to find the hotel becsuse the link at my booking was wrong but I telephoned to the hotel and was told that the hotel is near the cinema then si find it easy.

Comfortable room though a bit basic, nice hot water in bathroom. Disappointing breakfast for the extra charge, coffee machine out of order so hot flask instead. Good parking facilities, free. A restaurant just in front of the hotel.

Four of us stayed here one night last week , family room, which is basically two rooms connected by a sliding door..two single beds and one double . Very useful for us as we hadn't seen each other in a while and could chat for hours altogether easily. No coffee or tea facilities in the room, but we thought of that and took a kettle , tea and coffee. Very clean, warm and good clean sheets and duvet. The breakfast was very good and good value. Location was very good for our needs at the time. Staff lovely. I would certainly stay here again for our next family get together..
