Best Western Le Beffroi

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst visiting Lille. On the direct bus route to Lille, but there is also plenty of parking in Lille which I would recommend opting for when visiting Lille in the evening. The hotel parking is underground, so not suitable for a car with a topbox, but there is plenty of free on and off street parking only a few minutes away. The staff team were super friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and good variety of food for breakfast - a perfect start to our holiday.

Great hotel, great location, friendly staff and extremely secure free parking. It was tricky to understand how to get into the parking area below the hotel, but in the end, it was worth it. The guys at the front desk were extremely helpful.

I paid extra for a superior room on the park side because I really needed to sleep well that night. Turned out, there was a big fan right outside the window that was regularly making extremely loud noise both during the day and night (like a plane flying by) AND in addition to that, a really powerful light spot at the entrance of the park is oriented right at the room window. The spot only turns off at midnight so until then it's daylight in the room and the curtains are useless. But the worst part is, when I raised these issues at checkout in a very polite way, instead of appreciating the feedback, apologising and maybe doing a commercial gesture, the staff got defensive and all I got were lengthy explanations about how “C'est pas nous” since the fan is the restaurant's and the light spots belong to the town hall… If you run a hotel where people pay to sleep, you are responsible for making sure they can actually sleep and if they were unable to because of the poor facilities, the least you can do is apologise. On top of that: -I was not informed that there were extra costs for the pet at check in which is poor information (I was only told about the “taxe de séjour”) -they disable your room card at 11:45 even if checkout is at 12…. that makes you feel VERY unwelcome and like they are basically rushing you out. I was loading the car and was locked outside of my room because of that. All in all, very unpleasant, no customer service at all, not even able to listen to real issues that mean that I paid a hotel night for nothing. Not recommended, I am sure there are nicer and better trained people in the area. Also, there were hairs in the shower and the sink.

I stayed in BW hotel for a night with my dog. The room was beautiful and very clean. The receptionust was both on the phone and face-to-face in such a degree kind, friendly and helpful that I was amazed. I felt happy for my choice and I would stay again in this hotel when I will be in Northfrance again.

The hotel offers free on site parking in their underground car park which was a huge bonus as we'd travelled with car via the euro tunnel. Lille is easily accesssible from the bus stop opposite for €2 each way, just catch the L5. The rooms are a good size, clean and quiet. Furnishings look quite new and rooms provide tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast is all very tasty; a small hot selection of scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon. The continental choices of breads and pastries were very fresh. The staff are all very pleasant and friendly, offering some assistance to us when needing advice on how to travel to Stade Pierre Maroy at night.

We really enjoyed our visit here. We were given rooms on the third floor and amazed at how quiet the rooms were - absolutely no noise from outside or adjoining rooms. There were 2 lifts which were both operational and speedy. The car park was double gated which we found very reassuring. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and always fully stocked. All staff that we spoke with and engaged with were amazing. They were attentive, polite and helpful - and they all spoke good English which was great. The bathroom was a good size and very clean. The bed linen was very comfortable. We will definitely be booking a return visit to this hotel. Only a couple of minor negatives. We couldn't get the air conditioning unit to cool the room sufficiently, so it was quite warm in the room. We didn't report it as we were only staying 2 nights. The mattress was harder than we're used to, but that might suit some people.

Location: along a city road, but quiet and centrally located. 75/100 Staff: quick and efficient. 75/100 Rooms: very clean, with modern and relatively stylish furniture. Very comfortable large beds. Very quiet. 85/100 Parking: indoor, covered, secure. Not very easy to find and access because of the one-way road, but this is not the hotel's responsibility. 85/100 Price: 140€ (without breakfast) for two rooms in a very clean and good hotel. For the same amount of money, you cannot even sleep in a rat hole in the UK or in Germany (both terrible countries for accommodations). Ok, the location is not in front of the Colosseum or the Isle of Capri, but still very recommended for a nice stop in northern France. 98/100 Overall evaluation: 84/100

Hotel was reasonably priced and had on site parking which was free. Bus stop directly outside takes you very close to the centre of lille (L5 bus) so getting around is easy. Also used the metro which was a ten minute walk. There are shops near by as well.

Generally very good, recommended. Very clean , modern rooms. Good shower , tea and coffee makings , good bathroom and storage. Tv has little in English tho. Some staining on carpets looks bad. Staff helpful. Breakfast e14 , basic continental..ok. Good enough. Good underground parking. I left my motorcycle there happily. Loos is a dump. A few reasonable restaurants. You wouldn't pick loos as a holiday destination! It's like dartford. Not too expensive. £360 6 nights. Bar is ok. Few nice local pubs that I found. !!

Never had any problem at Best Western hotels... Until this time. I came with my voucher : room + breakfast included... The so rude lady at the check in said "Breakfast included" was not written in her booking system and there was nothing to do about that ; furthermore, she never wanted to call the manager! Finally I had to pay my breakfast whereas it was included yet... I had never seen this situation in any hotel. Of course I do NOT recommend this hotel

Great reception when we arrived. The hotel has had a complete makeover. Very comfortable bed. Room spotlessly clean. Free parking. We chose this hotel as it was about a 50 mile drive from the ferry, and competively priced. WE travelled onwrds to Munich from here. A perfect stopover, except no air con, and it was exceptionally hot. Thoroughly recommended.

I recommend this hotel if you are going to stay in Lille. The hotel is clean and not far from Lille. However, this hotel did not provide dinner or lunch, you can walk a few step, the restaurant is just next to the hotel.

Good hotel in Loos. Rooms nice and large toilettes. Parking possible underground. I was quite a quick stay but everything went well. Close to the hotel many possible restaurants. I will surely reuse this hotel.

nearly everything was nice. big spacious room, spacious bathroom, good equipement, comfortably located multiple electric outlets. best deal around, and there is a underground parking for cars, which despite being a bit tight for big cars still do the job. staff friendly and helpful, nice surroundings.

Stayed one night (driving through Lille) with the family. We reserved a ‘Family Room' and got two adjacent rooms (connected through an inside door), hence had two bathrooms, TVs, the whole lot. The hotel looks recently renovated (or built), it is very well located in the city center of Loos, plenty of places to eat nearby, a beautiful park, and a Carrefour (in case you need some groceries). The hotel has all measures for dealing with COVID-19 and the breakfast was served to ensure guests are not on top of each other and the food. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and will pass by again.

Very new. Staff very nice and incredibly helpful. Room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast very nice. Very happy to go back there. In October the restaurant will be ready and this will improve Loos as not many restaurants nearby
