Great location close to Opey Mills and Opryland hotel. Courteous, helpful staff , breakfast was good with make your own waffles, eggs, sausage or bacon depending on the day. Get there early enough as breakfast closes at 9 am. Clean room, comfortable beds.
I booked this hotel because I was going to see the Eagles concert. Not wanting to drive downtown at night I took the shuttle. It made it easy to enjoy the concert. The shuttle was only 10 dollars and pickup and dropped off at front door.
Great price & nice size rooms. Friendly staff. About 10-15 min drive to Broadway & Nissan Stadium . You don't have to pay downtown Nashville prices. There is a shuttle (small fee) to downtown so you don't have to drive & find parking.
The hotel was overall clean and staff was very friendly. They do have a shuttle to take you downtown but the cost is $10 a person (not sure if that was round trip or one-way as we opted to drive ourselves and pay for parking as it ended up to be less for 4 people and we weren't drinking). For those not coming in the warmer months their pool is outdoors and not open during the cooler months. We were hoping to be able to use the pool but couldn't in April. Continental breakfast had a variety of choices (more than I've seen at other hotels).
Booked but had to cancel due to covid called on 3rd April and cancelled with a lady who said all cancelled, never hear anything else nothing until my bank balance showed they had taken the money , they charged me and now refusing to answer emails or phone calls and told best western customer service that they will not refund, absolutely shocking
Room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was great with good variety. Hotel is only a mile or so from Opryland. It will need an update/remodel within 3-5 years or it will start looking threadbare. But for now, it's good. Staff was friendly and helpful
This is a great location for a weekend getaway if you want to be near opryland without having to pay an arm and leg to stay there. The breakfast was great every morning with nice and friendly staff to help you with any questions you may have. Only negative was the smell of cigarette smoke in the halls even on the non smoking floors. You can't smell it in the rooms but it was terrible in the halls.
Upon arrival, I felt like I was in a Ghost Town, no other person in sight , dark and dreary, only one desk clerk like Norman BATES. He was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. The room had very poor lighting, I felt like I was in the dark . The TV had a very low level of sound, i was straining to hear it and could not increase the volume. I was travelling alone, and when you 're alone in a room with no one to talk to, the TV is very important. I asked Norman if he could please show me another room...there HAD to be others available, because as I said, I saw no other people ! He refused, insisting " they are all the same", and even though I noticed there was a light bulb missing in the ceiling, he also refused at first to put in a bulb....I had to cry and carry on before he would bring a bulb ! He treated me like I was a nuisance ! I checked out that very day and re-located to a place where I was treated like a valued guest.
the room was very nice and the hotel was pretty clean. But you can do better for breakfast any place else.If you like nasty waffles(if the waffle maker works and want to deal with the line of people waiting to use it then all is good.) if you like cold cereal and weird sweet rolls then the breakfast is for you. But not up to the competitors . Our room was great and we would stay there again.
Great location! If you're coming in to town for Nashville Nights, this is an ideal location, not far at all! Staff was helpful! They need an upgrade on their key system as our keys barely worked! Very frustrating. Loved that the guy who checked us in gave us a special little packet about local goodies! Thank you! Room was clean - definitely could use more lighting, but great overall. Loved that the water got hot!!! PS. Beware of parking at Gaylord and Broadway/Downtown - $38 was the minimum we paid!
While the hotel building is nice and probably renovated, the hotel just doesn't meet the usual BW criteria. I've traveled for years using mostly BW. This place was rather disappointing. Front desk checking was very slow and disorganized. After a long wait (there were no other customers) we got our key. Room safe was locked up and had to get two different people up to our room to fix it. Breakfast was late opening. Very skimpy. No selection. No food attendant. Extra chairs were piled on top of some tables for storage in the dining room. Come on people, at this price you can keep up with the rest and serve a breakfast. The website states “breakfast buffet”. And there were virtually no covid restrictions at this time. They should be back to normal with breakfasts. We've stayed for half the price at other hotels and had omelets, bacon, sausage, etc. BW should take a look at training staff and upgrading this place. We will likely choose another hotel next visit.
The Best Western hotel near the Opryland properties is a great little place to stay! The property is clean with friendly staff and nice rooms. The breakfast offerings are very nice, as well. The price is also great for the more "pricey" area of town where it's located.
The first room we were assigned had three bags of trash in a cabinet, trash in a drawer, smelled horrible, and had a filthy mattress on the pullout sofa. We were grateful to the hotel clerk for allowing us to promptly change rooms. The second room was certainly better and cleaner than the first but disappointing in the internet speed, television channel selection, dated decor, poor drainage in the shower, and a few Asian lady beetles in the room. I would not stay at this property again, and I am unlikely to choose another Best Western based on this experience.
This is one of the nicest Best Westerns I have ever visited. Considering this is a major tourist area, the hotel was centrally located & reasonably priced. It was less than a 10 minute drive to the Grand Ole Opry House. I highly recommend this hotel.
This property is not well kept up. Our room darkening shades were broken and our request to repair went unanswered. More importantly, the room had very poor lighting. Also, it doesn't have HD TV so the picture quality is very poor and there is no quality channel guide. The breakfast is extremely poor. There aren't no overnight desk staff. The bed and pillows were comfortable.
We went for a visit to Nashville with my brother and his wife. We had shopped hotels and this one looked good. We found a lot of things wrong that if corrected in advance would have made it a wonderful stay. Overall the hotel was nice and clean- except parts of our room. It needs some good old fashion maitenance and updates.
Overall the rooms, the hotel itself, and the lobby were very clean and presentable. Everything was Great except the service from the front desk associate. I feel since the moment I walked in he could have done better in every area. I had accidentally arrived at the wrong best Western he not only chuckled about it but I also debated on giving me the last room so he says available. I was stranded I am a rewards member and it was about 2 AM I paid for the room even though it was a sweet and had no discounts applied also the next day when asked for a late check out not only did he say 1 PM was the latest but also told me I had to come to the front desk by 1 PM or I would be charged a second night express checkout was not offered at any point in time when I asked him if there was any straws available he said they do not offer those kind of beverages straws needed for but I can try McDonald's on the road I felt that that was also rude he didn't give me any other information as far as beverage or food restaurants in the area everything else was great he was even pretty nice however I feel like his customer service skills should have been brushed on that's my Best Western is known for their excellent customer service
Overall hotel was clean, room and bathroom clean. Rooms were spacious, however the bathrooms were very small. The beds were comfortable but were very high, and this will be uncomfortable for a short person.
We were so impressed with this facility. It has been the best of all we have stayed in in the past. Everything was well done, decorated, comfortable, clean, clean, clean. Wished we could have stayed longer. The beds were incredible - so good. Staff was excellent.
I recently stayed at this hotel and my room was infested with ants. I complained to the front desk staff and supervisor. I asked to be accommodated for the price of my contained cookies that was covered with ants and the supervisor informed me that he'd have to ask his manager. The supervisor also informed me that the hotel was aware of the "ant problem" due to the spraying of the outside mulch. I was very disappointed because a guest should be able to bring whatever in their room without having it being eaten by bugs. I called the hotel's Corporate number to only leave a message with a recording that someone will get back to you in one day. No one ever called me. Best Western customer service sucks and it's obvious they care nothing about customer satisfaction!
We stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and it was fine. This time stay was terrible. Only thing good was the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a joke. They blame it on Covid, but it's really the owner being cheap. Will never stay here again!
Beautiful hotel, newly remodeled. Nice outdoor swimming pool. Didn't care to much for the grab and go breakfast. But it was to be expected because of Covid. Staff was very nice. Rooms were big, but again because of Covid they didnt make the rooms up. However we were offered new towels and they did take out the garbage we left outside the door in the hall. The only reason for the 4 stars was because of all the Covid restrictions that many other hotels have lifted.
We stayed here June 16-21st. The hotel was very clean with a comfortable bed and separate area with sofa and desk. They had a continental breakfast with coffee and juices, waffle machines, yogurt machines with various toppings, oatmeal, small danishes, breads, bagels, cream cheese, four kinds of cold cereal including one that was gluten free . Thanks, Best Western for including us Gluten Free folks. They have a few shuttle services that take you to downtown for $10 round trip per person. Great service if you do not have a car. Make sure you allow plenty of time to get downtown as they stop at other hotels too. Book tours etc. at least an hour out from your pick up time. Just wish they offered one to the Opryland mall and Grand Ole Opry. We had to walk which is not far but very hot in the summer. We took Lyft a few times too. Restaurants within walking distance, very nice and helpful employees from the front desk folks, to the room attendant. We will surely stay here again if ever in Nashville.
Have stayed here several times in past. Booked room with whirlpool. Didn't know the "whirlpool" was just a standard tub with jets. Not pleased. Told desk clerk "if had known would not have booked". Said would tell GM. Emailed BW and nothing yet.
This hotel is very clean. Rooms are big with a safe, sitting area, microwave and mini refrigerator. The TV is great too. Shower has great pressure! Love the place. Book directly because they are not too happy with the third party online bookings. The only sad part was their shuttle which they decided to stop up to end of this year. Breakfast was make your own waffle, cereals, breads and some fruits. Coffee and juices. No hot items but still great!
Never got to stay (here is our saga) - my wife is a paraplegic. We reserved our room through Best Western's website May 2 - with a roll in shower (must have for her) for five nights. When we arrived at noon on check-in day (today) we found our room had been given away! Manager told me I must have made a mistake when I made reservation (I pulled it up on my laptop and it was correct). I told him he needed to find us a room with a roll in shower (since he did not offer) - he said we obviously did not want to stay there so he cancelled our reservation! Rudest manager I have ever dealt with. Would not recommend this hotel if it was the only room available in Nashville.
The location is great. Close to the Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills Mall. There are lots of things to do and places to eat with in 1 mile. The area is nice and clean and quiet. The only thing was the breakfast did not have much to choose from. I understand Covid modifications but other places have more options even during the heavy part of Covid. It was enough to make a small breakfast if you like a light breakfast.
House keeping banging on the door. At 6 am. Check out is at 12. We stayed 2 nights. Checked in on Friday. Saturday morning .telling us to leave. Because she wants to clean. Umm no come back another time
Originally booked thru h*tels.com for $100. Entended our stay even though price increase to $139, but credit card charged $268. After extended discussion that got unpleasant, still no correction. Will have to take action through credit card bank. Ilikely would have never noticed the overcharge except this card reports via msm to my phone. Very unfortunate. Nice hotel. Just shady management.
I traveled with family. Both rooms were very clean, with comfortable king-sized beds sofas, microwave ovens, coffee makers, and refrigerators. There were plenty of towels in the bath rooms and the water pressure in the showers was ample. The included breakfast featured waffles, Danish pastries, fresh fruit, bagels, juice, coffee, and tea.
We stayed here while touring the area. The hotel is totally smoke free. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The rooms also have a fold out sleeper sofa. The breakfast was cereal, fruits, yogurts, breads and waffles. The pool is outdoors but not open yet.
We had lovely, quiet rooms. Jared G. was very helpful and friendly. Our rooms met our expectations for cleanliness. They were probably the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in! I am one who looks for things not cleaned and I couldn't find anything. We were off season and very few other guests were present so that may explain the quietness. Our only complaint was the TV. The channel selector didn't work well and the selection was poor. They need better channels pay per view movies. Also, we didn't get to try breakfast because it was not being served due to off season and Covid so I can't comment on breakfast.
It was extremely clean & very comfortable beds which is a must! They only had the breakfast drinks & pastries available but that was a small thing. Our 1st stay in this location but will definitely return.
It is about 20 minutes from the downtown action and that is just fine with me. I like to stay away from the congested part of town and I liked this property very much. Good restaurants nearby. I was surprised that the standard room that I paid for was actually minisuite that had a little sitting area with a couch. My stay was during COVID and a lot of things were closed. There were not many people at the Opryland Complex. I felt safe the whole time. The only negative was the grab and go breakfast. It was all sweet rolls and needed fruit. This too was probably due to COVID safety. I would stay again.
The employee's at this motel takes time to make you feel welcome. They go over and beyond to make it a good stay for you. No matter what. The manager Jared is amazing...Highly recommended...Very close to down town Nashville and the shuttle service is great.
After being begged over the phone to book in person and never use online or apps since the "hotel loses money that way" the front desk gentlemen changed his attitude when I checked in with my partner and asked for a king bed. Then I was rushed through checkin. Found out my card was over charged causing my stay to be a nightmare. The cable did not work,there was garbage left in the room from previous guests...and after calling numerous times, the management and corporate refused to do anything to resolve thier mistakes.
Even though this is not rated as a Best Western Plus, it should be. My guest room was wonderful in every way. Just as good as the higher name brands nearby and $ saved. Location is great with restaurants nearby. P
We have stayed at this location for 3 years when visiting Nashville (typically twice a year). The price is always a good deal in comparison to staying downtown. The rooms are spacious, clean and with typical in room amenities. A private shuttle service is available for downtown visits at minimal costs (cheaper than downtown parking) and safer if you plan to visit the honky tonks and have drinks.
Nice hotel, malls and restaurants nearby. Clean and roomy suites. Breakfast could have been better but because of covid it's understandable it was so limited. Staff was friendly. Mattress and pillows very comfortable.
Although my stay was good, I have to say don't expect breakfast. Purchase pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches or burritos before you come as there are microwaves in every room. The breakfast was mainly a snack. However across the way I'd recommend Logan's Roadhouse, for all other meals, great BBQ and you can order online for delivery or pick-up. Otherwise, good clean rooms, mostly quiet and very comfy beds.
Good location for all destinations in Nashville by car. Easy access from Briley Parkway to I65 and I40. Can walk to Opryland (1mile) and to the restaurants/attractions on Music Valley Drive. Average BW room with small divider with couch and coffee table. No real information on safe, sanitizing practices. Room appeared clean and fresh. Shower pressure was A1! Breakfast was non-existent due to Covid restrictions. Masks required in all public area. Pool was a nice treat. Check in staff less than welcoming.
Fix the ant problem and it's a decent hotel. My room and the lobby was infested with ants! I expected maintenance to address the issue but saw no evidence of such. In fairness I'm not sure if other rooms had an ant issue.
This hotel has always met our expectations for a good vacation. We missed not having the full breakfast, but the other amenities are still available. I was able to use the pool this time (usually travel in the fall/winter at this location). Rooms layouts provide plenty of space for two people, nice split off area with a sofa and a desk. This location is convenient to downtown Nashville and even with Covid restrictions there is a shuttle service still available.
It was an awesome stay staff was amazing and location handled the current situation great! The hotel was clean and staff was freindly. Location was quiet and great location. Every request was meet as needed. Made it easy us. Questions about area and where to locate things was answered as well.
Nice hotel. Rooms good. Hotel clean. Still recovering from the virus lock down so no breakfast, but usually don't use anyway. No full daily room service still, still got clean towels or cleaned upon request. But overall trip very good.
When you are staying for only one night, a comfortable bed and reasonable breakfast are generally the only concerns. Coming to BW, the day after the tornado struck our previous accommodation, it was the ability to check-in early and get some much needed sleep, before having to go out that evening that made all the difference. Staff was good humoured, caring and kind. That made all the difference.
Booked a couple of rooms at a non-refundable rate (didn't save that much), and asked for an exception to reschedule to the following month due to the tornado damage recovery efforts within a couple of miles of the hotel. The hotel management refused to allow us to avoid the congestion and clean-up efforts a mere few days after the tornado hit in downtown Nashville. Greedy b's. Best Western is a franchise, and the individual owners make policy. Best Western corporate stated they have no authority over these clowns. We'll never book a BW again, and will aggressively advise as many potential customers as possible to avoid them.
We stayed one night because of an emergency (funeral). Best Western was so helpful about our surroundings. The beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was great! It was a continental with bacon eggs gray and biscuits. A great stay!
Elegant and comfortable hotel. Helpful staff. Convinient location, not far from the Grand Ole Opry. The only disadvantage is: Some years ago, this hotel had its own shuttle to the Opry. Now, they have hired a shuttle company who takes much more money for the tour to the Opry. Beside of that, this hotel is recommendable.
Was not allowed to check in at 2pm. Was told that they didn't have any clean room. I should have stayed in lobby so I could have seen Flash clean 80 rooms between 2 and 3. That is really something. Room was fine. Front desk, not so much. One exception - Jerry (young black male) checked me out and was very friendly and efficient.
The building looked to have been built recently. Very nice looking on the outside, clean parking lot and well lit. Desk clerk was very friendly and checking in was effortless. Room was very spacious and clean. I will consider staying here again.
Quiet and an excellent location. Easy to get from the Opry back to the hotel after a performance and would also be a nice walk. The usual hotel breakfast with nothing special but I'm not the breakfast eater I used to be so it it's okay.
Friendly staff, Location to Gaylord Opryland is within a long walk. Staff very friendly. Cleanliness was very good. Plenty of parking with no problems. Looked like they had a great breakfast even though I didn't eat there.
One of the best hotel I've stayed at thank you Nashville and all staff was awesome I got a early check in spoke to staff about the city and fun things to do also the shuttle to downtown was great no Uber 10 round trip or 15 for a day pass wow truly next time I'm in Nashville I'll be staying here and not moveing hotels once again thank you to all from a traveling Canadian
Just a couple of blocks from Opryland. Clean, quiet, free parking, includes breakfast with scrambled eggs biscuits and gravy plus all the normal breakfast foods. Good value for the money and I will stay here again. It would have been nice if they had hot cookies in the evening like some other hotels do

We got a great price and stayed her early December. We walked to the Gaylord and a few restaurants. If you don't want to pay crazy hotel fees stay here and walk to the other places. Breakfast and free parking. You can't beat it.
This BW is very close to Opryland which is a plus as well as Opry Mills Mall. Super clean and very nice. Rooms smelled great and the bed was superb. Staff was friendly and helpful. The ONLY bad thing I can say about this hotel is the breakfast they serve is deplorable. It is, however, the typical type you find in hotels like this. Powdered eggs, cheap sausage and pastries. Waffle mix nasty. Eat elsewhere for sure but stay here!
Clean room, convenient location, near Opryland, General Jackson, Opryland Hotel, and Opry Mills Mall. Room had microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig coffee maker. The hot breakfast was very good, and included in the room rate..
I've been trying to get a copy of my receipt for my stay and I was told by 2 different times when I called that the hotel is not Best Western and it cannot print a copy of a prepaid room reservation receipt. Front desk has problems with knowing how to do things.
Our go to hotel when in Nashville. Staff very courteous and efficient. Use the shuttle service when going downtown (It is very convenient). Location convenient to shopping, restaurants, flea markets, and many attractions.
Very close to the Grand Ole Opry, Opry Mills mall and Opryland hotel but at very reasonable rate. Also has easy access to the locations mentioned as well as the freeway and several good restaurants.Clean rooms and friendly staff.
alot of information about getting around town an how to save money on trips ..if we needed anything else or help coffee was good we also had a shuttle down town with some very friendly drivers had a very enjoyable time
This trip is a 5 year tradition to see the Ice exhibit at the Gaylord Hotel across the street and also the dancing light display in Lebanon, Tennessee. We always stay at the Best Western Suites near Opryland. The hotel is very clean, front desk personnel are very helpful and the beds are really comfortable. You can't beat the price.
This is a very new hotel with a wonderful location! Everything is bright and shiny and the staff is fantastic. We stay at many Best Western locations and truly love the easy location of this property and it's newness as well.
the rooms were great and the variety for breakfast was great. Wasn't happy to have to pay for the shuttle, so I just used lyft. the location and rates were great for the location. the beds were comfy and nice.
I was quoted a rate over the phone, but when I received my bill at checkout it was twice as much. I was not given accurate information when I made the reservation. I was quoted the same rate for both days, and was not told that there was no discount on Friday. Very unsatisfied.

I reserved the presidential suite. When I arrived I was told they did not have a reservation listed. I showed them the reservation I had printed out. Apparently the attendant gave my room to the wrong party before I got there. They did put me in a lesser room. The smoke detectors had no batteries with the doors left open. There was a broken lamp. They assured me they would make the inconvenience up to me on price when I checked out. But they did not.
Overall, our visit was nice. Our jacuzzi tub was in working order and breakfast was your average hotel breakfast. The staff was very friendly, and everything was very clean. The only complaint I have is that our room smelled like a musty basement the entire visit. We were on the first floor, so we could open the window, but it did not make the smell go away. It was very persistent our entire 3 night stay. I never mentioned anything, but the smell was so strong, they had to of known if was present before our visit.
We stayed at this hotel one night before flying out of Nashville. The shuttle they have only goes to Broadway and nowhere else so that was useless. The rate for our stay changed and I called the 1-800 number as well as the hotel to ask to have the rate change honored and neither would do it. Upon arrival, one of our keys did not work so we had to have it rekeyed and when we returned after being out all night, the key STILL didn't work. I was never recognized as an elite member of BW Rewards and was never offered the choice between a gift or extra 500 points and we were not offered express checkout.
This hotel was recommended by friends and it did not disappoint. Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. We used the shuttle offered to downtown for $10 round trip and this was very convenient. We were very happy with our stay!
Stayed here for a couple of nights and had a very positive experience. The place was very busy but there was plenty of parking in this quite location - it is near the highway but seems very well insulated from the noise. Staff were friendly, rooms large and clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast is the usual hotel fare but tasty non the less and the dining area was well managed and spotless. The shuttle to downtown is $10 pp return and represents great value - as well as leaving parking issues and driving if you want a beer or two behind you. Less than a mile to the 'Opry to walk or a short shuttle ride away if it is hot or raining this is a well situated hotel than provides good value in the area. Recommended.
We have stayed here 3 times now and each time it is great. Staff are happy and helpful, breakfast is good. Rooms are clean and as advertised. The hotel is close to Opry Mills, Grand Old Opry and Gaylord Hotel. The bus service into downtown for $10pp return is a great service. It operates every hour from downtown and on the half hour at the hotel. You can be free to bar hop and sample the local beer without worrying about parking or driving.
For the money, this motel was a good value, close to several music and tourist attractions. The shuttle service to downtown is an excellent value and service. Only drawback was we experienced a faulty room refridgerator
What did we like about this accommodation? Friendly desk staff. Ease of parking. Good breakfast buffet--usual fare plus biscuits and gravy that were very good. Friendly staff in breakfast room and serving area. Loved the beautiful crepe myrtle trees out front. What were we less than impressed with? How late in the day we received room service. The fitness center could have cared more about cleanliness--most fitness centers I've used have disinfectant wipes for use on the equipment, and provide hand towels. This fitness center did not. The first day I checked the fitness center to see what was there, I noted that a guest had spilled their coffee in the cup holder on the treatdmill. It was still like that that evening. I used the facility once and then didn't use it again during my stay. We stayed one week. We would probably stay again. The price was right.
Much cheaper than staying downtown and perfect for visiting the Opry. We walked to the outlet mall and Grand Ole Opry which are 1 mile down the road. You can walk through the Gaylord Opryland Resort which is worth a visit too and has shops and restaurants inside. The shuttle service downtown was easy to use and good value at $10 per person round trip. The hotel itself is clean with large rooms. The room could have done with more light but apart from that was nice. Wifi worked well for the 2 days we stayed but I wasn't impressed with the breakfast. Coffee was terrible, the orange juice was cheap sugary flavoured liquid and the toaster didn't work at all. We didn't even bother the second morning and ate out. Apart from breakfast though, the hotel was good for the price and really convenient for the Opry and the airport. I was a bit worried about security around the hotel with our rental car after reading previous reviews but we had no problems and didn't feel unsafe at all around the area.
We checked in today for one night. We got to our room on the second floor and were greeted by insects crawling on the popcorn ceiling. The room had a strange odor and yellow dim lighting. After 30 minutes, we told David at the front desk that we had changed our mind about the hotel and no longer wanted to stay there. David offered us another room but would not refund our one night charge. The other hotel staff said the insects were normal to the hotel and “welcome to the South!” We have stayed at other hotels in Nashville and the surrounding areas without having to share our room with these or any other crawling insects. Don't stay at this hotel unless you want some new six legged southern “friends.”
Spent 4 nights here last week. We had a King size room on 5th floor and found it to be very nice, room lighting was a bit dingy but that's only grumble really. Very comfy bed, view not brilliant (over wasteland in front of hotel) but not in room alot so didn't bother us. Nice shower and bathroom, toiletries provided for you, face cloths, shampoo +conditioner even make up removal wipe also good hairdryer. Hotel offers shuttle to downtown and return every half hour from 9.30 am to 2.00am for $10 dollars per person, we found this a really good service as downtown 15-20 drive. Breakfast was typical, waffles, cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, turkey sausages, biscuits and gravy etc. Our only complaint regarding breakfast was that the breakfast room is tiny and not enough tables and chairs for the amount of people in hotel, twice we had breakfast in the foyer of hotel as did other guests, breakfast is 6.30 - 9.30 seating needs to be addressed in my opinion. Housekeeping very good a lovely lady on 5th floor did our room every day always smiling. Staff friendly and helpful. We had couple of afternoons by the pool, towels are provided, sunbeds could do with updating, pool was very clean and a lovely temperature didnt take your breath a way! it was high 90's last week so pool was much needed. Lots of eating places around hotel within walking distance and a few shops. Opry mills mall is close by $7 by UBER each way Overall we had a great stay in this hotel if visiting Nashville again would return here and would certainly recommend.
This hotel was extremely convenient to the Grand Old Opry and to the Gaylord Opryland resort. Access to downtown was easy accessible by thruway. The coffee and breakfast was excellent. There was no stopper for the bathtub as I like to take a bath but the shower was strong. The door on the freezer compartment of the frig was broken.
The hotel is a bit dated. Bed was WAY too soft for my tastes (if this kind of thing matters to you). BUT it was clean and less expensive than many of the nearby hotels. David at the front desk was so helpful - and really funny (should consider a standup career). Gave lots of great advice.
We found this hotel to be a great location for all our activities. We stayed here for one week. It only takes 20 minutes to get downtown from here. It is also only 20 minutes to The Hermitage and 10 minutes to the airport. The hotel is clean and modern. The “suite” area has a pull out sofa bed and a nice desk. The air conditioning was great. The bathroom is very basic. The housekeeping service was good, but the timing each day was very unpredictable. The free breakfast buffet had waffles, yogurt, juices, coffee, cold cereal, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and either bacon or sausage. Fruit was very scarce. Hours are 6:30-9:30 daily.
We had just completed a long destination wedding weekend in NC with family & friends, and needed a place to relax for a couple nights (and to break up our long drive home). We chose Nashville and had stayed at this location in 2012, so we returned & were very happy we did.
Just because a bathroom had some handrails does not make it a handicap room. When I made this reservation in the spring, I was assured there was a handicap room for us with a walk in shower.. I told the person I was talking to that I HAD to have a walk in shower to get my husband in it (He is an amputee.)d Guess what, I got the one with just hand rails.....I said, you told me you had one with a walking shower. To which the clerk replied I do but it is taken. I said when did this person make their reservation and the clerk would not answer the question. He told me they came YESTERDAY, so they got the room. I said I had been in situations like this before and even I (before my husband was an amputee (he had leg brace on and still could not get over a tub.) and we had to move because the room was spoken for and we could only have one night in it. No big deal, the persons arriving had the right to the room, their reservation was before ours. Now tell me....do you think this was right? I wrote the Best Western Suites and no reply....how does that grab ya? Best Western you have poor staff issues......
We stayed here one night on our way home from Florida. It was a pleasant stay. Rooms are suites, so it had a sofa bed and 2 full beds for sleeping and a microwave and fridge for food storage. It also had a coffee maker. The fire alarm went off when we were there, so everyone woke up....then decided to eat breakfast at the same time, so that was crowded, but the hotel was clean and the staff was polite. It was convenient to the Opry and other attractions. The pool outside looked fine. We didn't use it, but those that did seemed to enjoy it! It served its purpose and I would consider staying here again.
Just spent 4 nights here while in Nashville. I can recommend this hotel only if you have a car while your in town. A good 20 mins. drive from the downtown core, it offers a pool, super friendly service and a free full hot breakfast. Rooms are spacious and the king bed was comfortable. Thumbs down on the free wifi....it was slow and often dropped the signal altogether. Big plus,however, is that it is 5 mins from the Grand ole Opry, a huge Mall, and some great restaurants. Guess you get what you pay for on the outskirts of town.
The room was nice enough, very convenient to nearby shops, Opryland, Opryland Resort (with three big indoor plant atriums), etc. Room was comfortable but sofa was not sleeper sofa that was implied when we booked the room--for three adults. Breakfast was ok--the usual heavy cheap starchy things but there is a Cracker Barrel just down the road and plenty of restaurants at the Opry Mills shopping center just down the road. Room was quiet and had sound proofing on ceiling--very nice not to hear the blaring TV of next door neighbors. Overall a nice stay.
My wife and I were in Nashville for six nights, while I attended a training program. The front desk staff greeted us cheerful, and were unfailingly friendly and courteous throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and clean. I found the bed uncomfortable, but my back was hurting from nine hour days sitting in a chair. My wife had no complaint about the bed and I trust her assessment more than my own. The hot and cold breakfast buffet was delicious and frequently replenished, so items were always fresh. This hotel is ideally located, just minutes from your seat at the Grand Ole Opry, a short drive from the state offices and entertainment venues of downtown Nashville, and with easy access to I-24, I-40, and I-65.
The hotel was a great location but we stayed in room 107 and it smelled of mold and mildew and the tv remote was missing. The front desk seemed to not be concerned about problems due to how busy the hotel was.
First room we were provided, had a musty smell. I talked to the front desk and they took that room off the market and moved us to a new room. The new room was clean and had comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and helpful. I really appreciated William's customer service. He really was a credit to the hotel.
From the moldy smell in the bathroom, dirty housekeeping rag in the clothes drawer to lack of customer service at the front desk and at least 12 cars broken into (windows on high end cars totally smashed out) I will not stay at or recommend this hotel to anyone. The only good thing about our stay was the breakfast attendant Renee who went out of her way each morning to ensure the breakfast area was clean and well stocked with food and the beds were comfortable.
The hotel was very clean, our room was very nice. Breakfast was really good. All employees nice and helpful. Had a bus that took us downtown and brought us back. Saved driving and parking. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Nashville. Lots of things to see and do close by.
Over all the hotel is decent it is nothing fancy. We had the Room with the king bed and it is an extremely large Room which was great. There is an outdoor pool however there are no umbrellas making it very difficult to be outside with this extremely hot weather. The drive to downtown is between 15 to 20 minutes depending on which area you are going to. By the hotel there are a few fast food options and the hotel offers free breakfast.
I stayed here around Thanksgiving for a couple of weeks. I have stayed at other hotels in the Nashville area and this has to be my favorite hands down. I got upgraded to a king suite which was absolutely wonderful and so kind of the front desk staff. Comfy beds, clean bed and rooms, staff were super friendly- even made the time to get to know me!! Breakfast was delicious - yogurts and parfaits, waffles, biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs, sausage, cereals and oatmeal. The breakfast staff were always quick to replenish and always said good morning. Also there is a shuttle that goes downtown - $10 round trip. Can't beat it. I highly recommend this hotel!!
The hotel was very nice. Breakfast was good and the host was very friendly. Check in and check out was hassle free. The room was nice but there needs to be vents in the bathroom to exhaust some of the steam from showering. Room could use some updating. There was a little mold in the corner of the bathtub and one of the lights didn't work unless you touched it so there must be a short in it. Bed was very comfortable and it was nice having a fridge and microwave in the room. Very close to Opry. Would definitely stay again!
Not my worst hotel stay. But I will not go again. Had to go to desk to set bathtub stopper, could only get 1 the last day. There were dead bugs on the wall, they did come an clean the room again after I asked. I took pictures. Breakfast was just OK. Staff were nice.
The Best Western suites and music Valley is a totally smoke free hotel. Very easy to get to Right off the highway. Rooms are nice and well appointed. Nice breakfast the next morning. It is close proximity to the Gaylord hotel , Opry Mills, and only 4 miles from the Nashville airport.
Great location...Approximately 15 minutes from the airport with shuttle service to and from the airport. Reasonably priced along with complimentary breakfast. Immaculately kept and The Hospitality is second to none. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Nashville. Approximately 1 Mile down the road from the Grand Ole Opry and Convention Center. Need to get around Nashville is a breeze, simply Uber your way downtown....Enjoy!!
We loved staying here. They have both airport and downtown shuttles (paid but very reasonable). It makes it very easy to travel aroudn in the city. The room itself was lovely and updated. We loved that it included a fridge as well as a microwave. Lines were updated in the room and it was very clean. The full breakfast in the moring was amazing. The only issue we had was with the airport shuttle on the last day. We had an early flight and were told the night before that we were the only patrons, so we thought we would make the flight with the shuttle. At the last minute, there were others added to the list, which would have cut the time too short, so we had to get a last minute uber. Other than that, would return.
My husband and I hv stayed here 4 times in last year. The front desk staff isnât the best but the other times were okay. This last trip was horrible. We had someone walk in our room twice during our stay. Complained to front desk- was told that he had never heard of that. Again- why would I make that up!!!!!! Manager checked tapes next morning- and guess what someone just waltzed in our room the night before!!!!!!!!! They comped us one night but I think they should comped the whole stay. I asked them to check the other day it happened and I havenât heard anything. If you stay here- make sure you lock up your belonging and lock room when you are there!!!! Also, our car window was smashed- along with 5 or 6 other cars. I understand that this isnât hotelâs fault. But manager never spoke to us about it even after we complained to corporate about it. First words from corporate were- we arenât liable. How about- we are sorry that happened. On good note- breakfast is good and lady that works breakfast is very sweet.
Front desk staff was excellent. Room rates increased dramatically due to CMA awards week. Room service staff was not good and not friendly.I was very disappointed with the increase for the room rates as these were not the prices we had been quoted at time of booking.
2 cars parked behind me were broken into need to hire night time security, Probably will never stay at this hotel again. It is a shame because it is a nice hotel. If I hear that they have hired security I may reconsider my options.
We stayed in a king suite which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It contained TV in each room, safe, microwave, sink, Keurig, and refrigerator. Free breakfast was delicious with hot and cold options! Eating area was clean and food was promptly refilled. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel located just off of main road a piece and quiet.
After adding shuttle cost to take you to downtown you are better off to pay a bit extra and stay closer to the city. This is about my 8th visit to Nashville and the first time I stayed out side of the downtown area. I would have rather paid extra for the room but be able to get around cheaper. When staying in Nashville I suggest looking for a place that has free shuttle, free parking and free breakfast. Clarion by the stadium is the best option I have found yet. Best Western was very clean and the staff was excellent and the breakfast was pretty good. Only complaint would be shuttle expense.
As We are getting older, we always check out the bed first. This room had a good bed and it was very clean.The room had all the usual things but the shampoo was very good.The breakfast was excellent with a few little extra things on the bar. The price was more than good for the location. Other hotels at this location were much more expensive.
Great hotel with excellent and friendly staff. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Only took seven minutes from calling taxi to arriving at The Grand Old Opry. Plenty of bars and restaurants very close by if you are tired or don't fancy going out for 'night life'.
Stopped in Nashville for 2 nights when travelling across the country. This hotel was fantastic. Rooms are large and airy. Beds are super comfortable. Shower is great with good pressure. There is also a bathtub. Nice thick towels. A fridge and a microwave also standard in the room. Good air conditioning in the room. Check in was superb. The young lady who checked us in was so helpful, even helping us with booking a tour and printing out our tickets. Also, an early check in meant we did not have to leave all our luggage in the hot car while we did a tour, we were able to check in, refresh and unpack before we left again. Was very appreciated. Breakfast was also very good, hot bacon and eggs on the menu as well as the usual toast, cereal etc. plenty of free parking. Also close by to lots of eating places, fuel stops. Cracker Barrel just up the road. (Yum) would definitely recommend this hotel.
First Time in Music City. Stayed here and had a very enjoyable stay. Probably one of the best hotels in the Best Western chain. Beds were extremely comfortable. Clean room and quiet hotel. Excellant breakfast buffet. Located about 1 mile from Opryland and about 9 miles from downtown Nashville. Will definately stay there again. Very nice staff.
This is an awesome place to stay close to everything! Lot of choices at breakfast all hot and fresh every Moring. Big clean rooms and friendly staff. The pool was outside and not available during our stay.
We stayed here for a night during our recent visit to Nashville. Good location and has a pool. But hotel fitout is a bit old and drab. Also there was an old mattress lying out in the hallway the whole time we were there....
Our entire group was very pleased with the accomodations of Best Western Opryland! The staff was very nice and helpful! The breakfast was very delicious and the room were very clean and comfortable! We would recommend this and stay here again when in Nashville.

Pros: the rooms were comfy and clean. Ours had a fridge and microwave, which was great for reheating left overs. The area was far enough from downtown to not be too pricey, yet close enough to catch a quick uber and be in the heart of the city within 10-15 mins. A uber was around $20 each way and the hotel offers a shuttle for $10 round trip. Cons: Wish they offered firm pillows. Also, some of the staff were pretty rude. The night time front desk clerk was less than welcoming and seemed bothered when we requested to purchase snacks. We also had our hot water go out and although the situation was addressed, the staff wasn't at all apologetic. It took over an hour for the hot water to be fixed which meant we weren't able to shower or get ready. I understand things happen that are beyond their control but I did expect at least an apology for the inconvenience.
The hotel was centrally located the Gaylord Opryland, the mall, and downtown. They offered a shuttle to these locations for a small, one time fee, for your entire stay. The rooms were large, however, it appeared to be an older facility that is in need of some upgrades or repairs (see pictures). The vending machine only took money. The breakfast eggs, bacon, etc were not good at all. The waffle was bland. The pillows were way too soft and they don't have any firm ones.
Beds were soft yet firm and comfortable. Room was clean, staff was very accommodating, breakfast was very good..always fresh and prepared well, plus the staff was very helpful with setting up shuttles and helping with dinning ideas.
On our arrival oh, Tiffany did an excellent job of efficiently checking Us in answering all of our questions. However, on our floor there was evidently a party that took up more than one room who insisted on hanging out in the hallway and shouting to each other from ends of the hall. Further, at about 8:30 p.m. a vehicle arrived out front just under our window with its music turned up incredibly loud and a strong base thumping away. It was a great deal of talk and loud voices it lasted for well over a half an hour before the vehicle pulled away. To my knowledge nothing was ever said to the party in the vehicle about the noise even though they pulled up to the front office. Unfortunately, at about 1:40 in the morning they returned with the same loud voices and loud music and stayed outside for about an hour. No one approached them to calm them down no law enforcement was called to address the issue no action as far as I could tell was taken to quiet them down. In addition, the other guests on the floor who were shouting at each other continue playing their television loudly and talkin / shouting until after 11 p.m. .
Very nice hotel. The staff is friendly and customer service oriented. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was filled with a nice variety of hot and cold food items. The eating area was kept clean by the staff. There is a lot of eating place near this hotel and not far from Opryland. We will stay in this hotel again and recommend it to others.
Room was beautiful and very comfortable. Made it easy to relax after the concert. Had a nice breakfast and enough room for everyone to be able to eat. Would stay again when in town. The young lady at check out was very helpful.
Had a couples weekend in Nashville and this hotel had excellent location next to Opry Mills mall for shopping plus shuttle service to downtown for the hottest clubs in the Midwest!! Best of both worlds! Ok I'm
We stayed here for one night and am very satisfied with our stay. If I had to stay longer, I would have had a problem with the location of our room. Room 522 is right beside the ice machine so you can hear when someone gets ice and whether they are noisy doing so.
We are on a three state journey staying at a Best Western in each state. This location was about 12 miles from Broadway and suited our needs just fine. Customer service was excellent, breakfast was good, and it was very clean.
Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the adjoining rooms worked well for our group of tourists. Did have an issue with a rude staff member but reported it second staff member was much much nicer and helped us out
The hotel was lovely with a nice, clean room and comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly, and the location is perfect. Right across the road from all the Opry venues, and surrounded by excellent dining choices.
Being a business owner my plans change unexpectedly. This location refused to accommodate my changing schedule and billed me for services not rendered. This franchise owner has cost the corporation the life time value of a customer.
We stayed during the NWTF conference and the hotel was really nice. Clean and staff was friendly. They were very accomidating we came in at a late hour and made it very easy to check in. Very friendly
We enjoyed staying a couple of nights in Nashville Best Western. The front desk clerk was very informative and helpful with the area and letting us know about shuttle service - saving us a big headache from trying to park and get around Nashville. The rooms were nice, clean and beds very comfortable.
This was a nice hotel stay that was close to everything Nashville has to offer. We stayed with family and friends in the same hotel. Slept well, had good breakfast—always a plus with my husband— and sightseeing and conference were close by. Rooms were nice sized,clean and comfortable was reasonable for area.Good motel for mature, conservative customer.
We were not familiar with Nashville, and we happened to choose this particular property where we could spend a couple nights as we explored Nashville. What we really liked about this hotel was that the clerk informed us that there was a Music City Shuttle that would pick us up right at the hotel and take us right in to the heart of the honky tonk area, and would also come back when we called and take us back to the hotel when we got tired. Sarah, our driver, was so knowledgable about the entertainment and the eateries that it made our visit fun and stress-free, The clerks at the BW were helpful. I would stay at this Best Western again if I return. There are many places near this hotel that provide both food and entertainment without the hassle and expense of going into Nashville everyday.
We had a good size room.Bed was pretty comfortable, they are starting to have a slight dip. Might be time to start replacing soon. Breakfast is the same each morning but still good with enough variety to have something different each morning. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good parking. We walked to Grand Ole Opry and felt safe in the area. 30 minute walk. Opryland Resort and Opry Mills Mall are also next to Grand Ole Opry. $10 per person for shuttle to downtown Nashville and back to hotel. We were happy with our stay. Rating 3 1/2
The facilities were very nice and clean. We were very excited to be able to stay in that area in such a nice place. The breakfast was awesome and had a great selection to choose from. We will stay there when we go back to Nashville.
Comfy clean hotel with spacious rooms near Opryland. Excellent breakfast and free wi-fi but not too many other amenities. No restaurant or bar (4 restaurants in easy walking distance), no indoor pool or hot tub. Friendly staff .
Very clean room, nice internet service. the only thing I did not like was the mattress on both sides were concaved, it was worn out, not good to sleep on. The hotel was very clean and safe. good parking.
The rooms are spotless, the beds are so very comfortable. Breakfast is Great!I'm a Best Western Rewards member. This company is winning in my book! I'm am not traveling as much as I used to. But the comfort of knowing that I can relax at any Best Western and get the industry's Best is all the comfort I need!
My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend in Nashville. The hotel is new feeling, clean, the rooms are very large, and the complimentary breakfast buffet is as good as you will find. The staff was also very pleasant. The hotel is a 18-20 minute drive from downtown and basically across the street from Opryland, Opry Mills, and the Grand Ole Opry. We highly recommend this hotel to travelers!
Enjoyed my stayed at Best Western near Opryland. It was close to the places I needed to go to and the staff was helpful with directions and ideas. The internet connection is handy and the breakfast was good and tasty. Hope to be staying here again soon!
We had to wait well over 5 minutes to check out. We had people before us waiting a long time. There was a bell to ring and it was not answered. We had a line of 10 people or so behind us when we left. All else was excellent. They had dairy alternatives for breakfast; my vegan friend was able to find what she needed and the room was clean with comfortable beds.
We came to town for a short trip to go to a show. The hotel is clean and the rooms were good size. I was very ill when we arrived and it was so early but the desk person was able to find us a room and put us in so I could lay down. Breakfast was a nice plus. Pastries, eggs, toast and sausage with some other small things. It is very close to many restaurants for lunch and dinner. Right off the highway so getting places is easy. I'd stay here again for sure
Just another hotel, overpriced, noisy rooms. just get people in and out and make money. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Construction storage in front of hotel. Entrance to lobby dirty. Had to wait on room to be cleaned.
Ok I'll cut right to the chase. Beds were broken down. Our king size bed was badly worn. It was down hill. My husband and I had decided we were going to sleep with our heads at the foot because it was so sloping. The room was not clean. Very dusty and old looking for such a new motel. We too had prepaid and could not get our money back. However we did not stay the night. I accidently fell and broke my shoulder and after a trip to Skyland ER, we packed up and returned home. We had not even used the room. Just unloaded our luggage and quickly went shopping where I accidently fell. They did refund the next night, but I really thought when I returned from the ER, good PR would have been to credited me for another night to return or give me a refund. Even our other attractions returned our money because of the accident.

The hotel is well run, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. It's in a good location to get to Opry Mills while avoiding some of the traffic on the main road. Shuttle service to downtown Nashville is convenient and affordable.

What makes this hotel great is 1 good breakfast 2 very helpful and knowledgeable staff who are super friendly.rooms are spacious with fridge and good coffee maker. Local restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Airport to hotel transfers really good well done all at this excellent hotel.
Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Clean room. Ideal location to visit Opry Land at a more affordable room rate. Able to take a Lyft or Uber for less than $20 to Broadway. We first were given a room where someone had been smoking and no questions asked staff moved us to a new room and made sure they we were happy. Thanks Chasity.
for the 3rd year our family stayed at the best western Opryland, Great service , good price for room, close to town and mall. Had adjoining room for family, very friendly staff and service great. A wonderful breakfast. fresh, hot and tasty. will stay again for sure
Very nice and clean!! Easy access to Oprayland and area attractions. Staff was friendly. I have stayed at several hotels around Oprayland and this one is the best by far for price and convenience. We will be back in the future.
Clean, comfy bed, the basics. Bathroom vanity has a scratched and worn look on the front. No meal options at the snack shop, snacks only. Bend machine for common beverages including Yoohoo! Lighting could be improved around mirrors, especially at tall mirror in bedroom. Housekeeping is great! shuttle service to downtown Nashville (Bridgestone Arena area) is very reasonable and typically 1/2 hr total one way. Would stay again!
My wife and I really enjoyed our brief stay at the hotel near opryland in nashville. the food was very delicious and the room very large. The service was very accomodating by the staff. The hotel was very clean and layout very well for the guest staying there.
The hotel generally was nicely appointed and the breakfast was good for the standard breakfast fare. My rating is lower because we were put in a room next to the elevator shaft and the noise kept me awake for some time. My son and I shared a room, (in Nashville for a football game). He is an assistant manager in a large HVAC firm and notice immediately that the smoke detectors in the room were in defect mode. One was covered with plastic and the other did not have a battery. We alerted the front desk but aside from giving us a battery for the one without they just said that they would report it the next day. :-(
This was our first hotel in our road trip and also our first time in USA From UK Lovely hotel short walk from Opry Land. Caught the bus shuttle downtown both nights which is great fun. Staff during the day at hotel were lovely and friendly - the night staff during our stay were more standoffish however this didn't impact on our overall experience Room was huge and by far the most comfortable bed we have slept in since being here- we would use this hotel again
We were pleased with our stay. Room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast offered a variety. Breakfast area was roomy and clean. All of the staff was friendly and professional. The shuttle available to downtown was a plus. Very convenient way to get around for a nominal fee. Good location. Close to Grand Ole Opry and restaurants.
Great Place nice and Clean and you can park your car and take a bus down town ya. never had to wait on the Bus. Best Western A1 . My Husband says its the best one you service bacon . Great Breakfast could not ask for anything nicer. 5*****
We spent 2 nights here at the Best Western. As a rewards member I always try to stay at at BW. This hotel was perfect for us. Right off the freeway and close to Opryland Resort, Opyrland and shopping. We scheduled for the shuttle that is $10 to take us downtown to Broadway and pick us up afterwards. A good deal. The next day did a shuttle through Gray Line and they picked us up at the hotel too. The accommodations were great. The site was extremely clean inside and out. The hotel staff very considerate and helpful. The breakfast was the best I have had at BW's. Our room was nice and roomy. Beds comfy and everything clean. A great stay!
Although we had all done some research on what to do while visiting Nashville, getting around was our most challenging task. The hotel offered a shuttle service from/to the airport for $15 round trip, billed to our room. The front desk clerks helped us by recommending Ubers over taxi's, places to eat that wouldn't break the bank and other tips. The management is to be commended on hiring such a great team of people to be the "face" of Best Western! And our rooms (we were 3 cousins with our own rooms) were VERY comfy, and the staff accommodated us by putting us in adjoining rooms so we could wander between rooms, almost like having a suite!
This hotel was in a way out location from downtown central Nashville, but does have free parking. However there were facilities to eat, drink and shop in close proximity. Opryland does house an extensive shopping mall and the legendary Grand Old Opry which is well worth a night out. The hotel to downtown Nashville (Broadway) is approximately 10 miles away, 15 minutes to 20 minutes in a taxi. The hotel suite was spacious clean and had a massive bed which was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious with an excellent powerful shower. However the air-conditioning was noisy. Breakfast is limited but sufficient. Free coffee and tea are always available night and day in the reception area.
Enjoyed our 4 night stay at this hotel! Staff was welcoming and helpful, especially Jennifer. We arrived one day early for our reservation and were able to check in early plus we could stay in the same room and not have to move into a different room. The room was spacious and clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast had many things to choose from. They do offer a shuttle with a fee for downtown Nashville but we didn't use this. We used a service called Grayline that had an office close by to book a hop on, hop off trolley which gave us a ride downtown for two consecutive days. We also booked some tours through this company and this worked well for us. This hotel is great, staff is wonderful and we would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here for four nights September 2018. Room was very spacious with good seating and work area, very comfortable bed and adequate storage. Bathroom was good size and shower was effective once we worked out how to make it go! Excellent breakfasts in clean and comfortable dining area. It was helpful to be able to get hot water for tea any time of day or night. Excellent location for going to The Grand Ole Opry, but quite a distance from downtown Nashville so needs some planning if you don't hire a car. A ten-minute walk took us to Opry Mills Village where we could pick up a No 34 bus (limited frequency) which took 30-45 minutes but cost only $1.70 ($.85 for a senior) with day tickets available at $3.25/$2.00. For getting to Grand Ole Opry we booked the hotel-recommended service from Monarch Transporters at $10.00 per person for go and return, and this was a BIG MISTAKE. For a 7.00 pm start at the Opry we were advised to be in the lobby at 5.20 for a pick-up at 5.30. While waiting we asked hotel staff to check and expedite the pick-up, but to no avail. The bus arrived at 6.10 and meandered its way to various hotels, picking up more passengers with standing room only. We phoned the hotel to ask them to arrange an extra bus for the return. We did make it to the Opry, but only just, and we missed the whole build-up to the excellent show - Monarch's failure to perform left us stressed and disappointed at what should have been the highlight of our visit to Nashville. We recommend that Best Western make alternative arrangements for local transport, and we did make our views known to the hotel when we checked out. But do stay at this hotel - it was a good place to be for us.
Location excellent, shuttle service only available til 8 pm, taxi cabs would not take us to, or from, Grand Ole Opry or other short trips that were close to hotel. We were forced to either walk or use Uber or Lyft (if you had app and not be charged roaming fees if you are from outside US). Also, we were not pleased with the alien arrivals(insects) during our stay. We reported it, they said the would contact pest control but, we told them we didn't want to remain in room if it was to be fumigated while we were staying there. There have been reports of allergic reaction, and even death, of guests not informed of recent fumigation. They did not offer any other solution, or discount our billing.
We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and would definitely stay there again. The front desk staff were very helpful. We were celebrating our anniversary while staying here and they upgraded our room. We were happy to stay outside of the downtown Nashville area but were able to conveniently visit downtown via the shuttle service. The daily breakfast that was included was good. There are also many restaurants close by. It is about a 2.5 kilometre walk to the Grand Ole Opry, the shuttle will also take you there.
We had 4 suites for 10 days 5/9/18 - 15/9/18. The suites were comfortable, with two queen size beds. There was a fridge and microwave and a seating area. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom which were changed on a daily basis. The hotel shuttle collected us from the airport for a one off $15 pp but you had use of the shuttle to specific locations throughout your stay and of course back to the airport. The shuttle runs on the hour and can be booked at reception. It only runs to 20:00 though. There is an alternative shuttle which picks up at the hotel and takes you downtown for a $10 return fee. This will bring you back from your drop off point in the early hours. Breakfast is standard fayre but enough to set you up for the day. A special mention for the staff who were most accommodating at all times. The hotel is within 5 minutes walking distance of bars and restaurants. A further 20 minutes walk takes you to a large mall at Opry Mills home of the Grand Old Opry. Would certainly stay here again.
The property is very well kept. We were greeted as we walked in. Great staff from check in to checkout. They have a downtown shuttle $10.00 roundtrip. Everyone went above and beyond their call of duty. You will be highly recommended. Thanks BestWestern for everything
If you love a firm mattress, this is the hotel for you. I had no problems with the cleanliness, the staff was friendly, and they have the good, soft, super absorbent towels. Unfortunately, I do not enjoy a firm mattress, and I wound up tossing and turning all night trying to get comfortable until I just put the pillows under my back and was able to get a little sleep. So just be aware of your mattress preferences, choose accordingly.
This is an elegant and good hotel - as one can expect it from BEST WESTERN. It has a very good standard. The rooms are spacious and well equiped. The breakfast was really good. I've been in this hotel several times. The only point I have to criticize: In former years, there was a free hotel shuttle service to the events of the Grand Ole Opry. This year, an extern shuttle service took over and charged 10 dollars per nose. I think such a good hotel should consider it's own shuttle service for the guests who usually come because of the Grand Ole Opry. Otherwise, it is a wonderful hotel, and I definitely will stay there again.
This hotel is in a very convenient location considering we planned to go to the Grand Ole Opry. Though it was a little tricky to get to, (exit 11 off the Briley Parkway, then double back parallel to the parkway), it was convenient to many eateries, Opry Mills Mall, gas, liquor and only a 15 minute drive to downtown. We loved our suite: our requests were considered - a room close to the elevator, and something bigger than those usual decorator pillows. Not a single convenience was missed, from a comfortable bed to separate sitting and eating areas, even a whirlpool tub. Of course, we had a fridge and microwave that we have come to expect, and a large in-room safe. Towels were plentiful and toiletries were of good quality. A nice addition was the lighted magnifying mirror. Most importantly, the room was very clean. If there was a downside, it was that the Wi-Fi was slow and sketchy. The outdoor pool was lovely, warm and clean... and not crowded... with towels available just inside the door, across from the fitness room. A nice depth too ...3-5 feet. We thought the breakfast was great: scrambled eggs (cooked perfectly), sausage, sausage gravy, biscuits, waffles, yogurt and the other breads, sweets and fruit. Staff kept everything tidy and replenished without hovering. We were especially pleased with the customer service at this hotel. It began with the lady I spoke to on the phone for reservations - so respectful and accommodating. She obviously was not unique to the facility, as the staff was excellent when we arrived from check-in to check-out (Jenn). Not everyone wore a nametag, but from my receipt I can see J.G., Mark and William were on staff. This hotel is a winner, and we would definitely stay again.
we just needed a hotel for a few nights. this hotel had what we were looking for. clean, nice, friendly, good breakfast. the price was right too. booked online with a little apprehension but was pleasantly surprised. i would stay here again for sure.
The room was large and beds were very comfortable, i loved the pillows. The breakfast was excellent, eggs and meat, biscuits and gravy, waffles, plus your standard continental stuff. The front desk staff was super friendly! The pool was great (it's the only picture I took, sorry). The location is a little hidden, it may take you a few wrong turns to find it. I had a great time and would definitely stay again. It's closer to the Opry and mall than the "near Opryland" would have you believe.
This motel is located just off the interstate. We were in town for a week. Trips were made downtown and to Franklin. We found our sightseeing spots were easily accessible by car or their bus line. The breakfast is basic and what I would expect. The staff was very polite and helpful. A crew was there putting up new wallpaper and this did not cause any problems. We did not use the pool but it looked clean and in good order. We will consider staying here on our next trip.
Very friendly staff. Impressed with the level of customer service. Would be happy to stay at this hotel again for vacation. Wish the pool opened a little earlier, but that isn't a deal breaker. Super convenient to Opry.
We had to stay here one night as Opryland Resort couldn't fit us in for the one night extra to our tour. At the time of booking we didn't realise that the CMA were on but subsequently realised that the exorbitant room rate we paid was because of this. Breakfast was included and was OK but on paper plates with plastic cutlery - not really acceptable. Unlike other reviewers we found the front desk staff very helpful.
This is our go to place to stay when we're around Nashville. It's out of the way just enough to make it peaceful. With Logan's Steakhouse right across the road, and close access to Opry Mills, it's ideal! We stay 3-5 times year at least.
I stayed here with my husband on a recent trip to Nashville This hotel is located close to a lot of Nashville places and about a $30 Uber ride to Broadway. There are some restaurants nearby, overall it's a busy location. As some of the other reviews have indicated, the front desk staff is not overly warm and helpful, however, everyone else I interacted with was great. The breakfast room staff was specifically awesome. Our room was spacious and clean, very comfortable. A nice inclusion with the room was a microwave and refrigerator. We had everything we needed for our stay. If you're looking to be in the action of downtown Nashville, stay elsewhere, but we found this to be a great location.
We called to find out what time our room would be ready. We were told 1 so we bought a case of peaches at the farmers market since we would be checking in soon and we didn't want to leave them in the car. We got there at 1:30 and the girl at the desk said our room wasn't ready and to give them about a half hour so we went to Cooter's garage and then to the bar next door to have a drink. So we got back to hotel about 2:45. We were told that our room STILL wasn't ready and they needed about another 20 minutes.Really?! So this time we sat down in the lobby. About 15 minutes went by and then we met Terri! She asked us why we were sitting there we explained what happened and then 5 minutes later we had our room. She told us that she told the front desk that if you told someone something they should make it happen and not tell them to keep coming back. While we finished checking in the guy at the counter didn't even ask if I wanted my bonus points or my snack. Since we're platinum members trying to get to the next level our points are important to us. At check out the same guy said the points were automatically added when I had to ask about them. The room was nice. We ate breakfast and saw Terri who actually was working the breakfast area. She asked how our night was. She was so pleasant. If not for her who knows how long we would been sitting there. During check in there was a guy sitting there at 1:30 who was also sitting there at 3. He had been waiting since 11 that morning for a room. C'mon BW, what's going on here?
Stayed here for 10 days during our recent trip to Nashville. Staff friendly, breakfast adequate and room clean - no complaints from any member of our group. The hotel is close to the Opryland complex for shopping, General Jackson and the Grand Ole Opry. There are also some bars within walking distance for dinner and live music, we usually ended up at the Nashville Palace for a nightcap before returning to the hotel.
Arrived at the hotel having travelled from Chattanooga. Arrived around 2pm so a bit earlier than check in but decided to go in to see if the rooms were ready. I was greeted by a female member of staff who gave the impression that she didn't want to be there. She told me that one of the two rooms was ready so we could have that one. She checked me in and pointed to the lift. That was it, the only information we were given. We took all our bags to the one room as she had said to come back in an hour for the other room. We wanted to get some water so dropped our things and went out again to find a convenience store. The room was very warm when we entered. The A/C was on and we turned it right down to try and cool the room down. The view from our room was a building site but to be fair, we weren't there for the view. The room had a microwave, fridge, lounge area with sofa bed, coffee table, desk, chair, chest of drawers, large TV, safe, telephone (free for local calls), large bathroom and large bed. When we came back the receptionist confirmed the other room was ready. I asked about the breakfast and she pointed out where breakfast was served. I also asked about the laundry. She confirmed it was $3 each for the washer and dryer and that they always had quarters if we needed them. We went back to our room which was still just as hot as when we arrived. My husband called down to reception and asked if someone could come and have a look at the A/C unit as the room was really hot. He had the same unfriendly receptionist on the phone. She said she would send someone to look. After an hour of waiting I went to reception where the receptionist was on the phone and another male member of staff was sat. I said we had called an hour ago and he looked really surprised. He came straight away to the room and checked the A/C unit and said it wasn't working properly. He left and returned with another guy five minutes later with a trolley and new A/C unit which they fitted straight away. Perfect - this one blew out cold air and cooled the room quickly, These two guys were the best in the hotel. Very friendly and chatty, unlike our first encounter with reception. Bed was really comfortably and shower worked really well. Bathroom was large and spacious and well equipped. We caught the hotel shuttle to downtown, which you have to book, which the receptionist hadn't told us the day before but luckily the morning receptionist got us on the next shuttle. It was packed by the time it got downtown as it collects from several hotels. It is a $10 return trip and collects you from where they drop you off. Its about a 20 minute journey. Breakfast was complimentary but a bit limited. There was cold oatmeal, scrambled egg, either sausage or bacon (a choice of one each day), biscuits and gravy. There were some cold cereals, toast, tiny muffins and pastries. There were a couple of waffle makers as well. The breakfast was a bit the same everyday so we went out a couple of times to Bob Evans around the corner and had a good breakfast at a very reasonable price. There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel. Parking is free of charge. When we came to do our laundry we asked at reception for some quarters to be told that they didn't have any (despite having been assured at the start of the week that they always had them for the washers and dryers) and that I would have to wait until the following morning when the safe was opened. I explained we were checking out the following morning and was told my only option was to go to the hotel across the road ask them if they had any! Thankfully the members of staff at that hotel were very accommodating and gave me the quarters I needed. The room was serviced every day to an acceptable standard. Furniture in the room was very dark which made the room feel dark and dingy. It was a bit old fashioned but served its purpose. We were on the fifth floor and one of the lifts was out of service for our entire stay which made getting up and down a bit challenging especially with people checking in and out with lots of luggage. The hotel served a purpose but I wouldn't stay again or recommend it. The reception staff could certainly do with some customer service training as first impressions really do count and they were all miserable and not at all helpful. You got the impression you were an inconvenience for asking them questions.
Hotel is very clean and all the staff very friendly. Nice breakfast area and great continental breakfast. A shuttle is available to Grand Ole Opry for $10/person. Lot of good restaurants available close by, some within waling distance. Overall, a great hotel for the price.
Checking in was super easy, staff very friendly! Everyone in Nashville was friendly, even the guests! Hotel room was very clean and big (2 dbl beds). Very comfy— only thing was the mirror in the bathroom hanging off the wall, was a nice touch if you could have used it. They have a shuttle to pick you up and take you downtown for $20 round trip. 15-20 min ride... lots of food options in the area. Would def recommend.
I would recommend this hotel. It was clean and all staff were professional, helpful, and friendly. Our room was well stocked. they will arrange a shuttle services to take you downtown Nashville. The hotel is close to the Grand Ole Opry and other activities.
My recent trip to Nashville included a stay at the Best Western Suites near Opryland. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast each day included a variety of choices and plentiful. The location is within minutes of many area attractions and easy access on/off the freeway system.
The hotel is a great location. When I stayed on April 15 there was ants in my bed. At 11:00 at night I had to change rooms with no help from the people in the front desk. He went out to smoke. The next day when I spoke to the manger she said since I had booked with expedia she could do nothing for me but gave me their number. When I returned home and called expedia the hotel denied the ant problem but said I did change my room at 11:00pm. I wrote to the CEO of Best Western 3 weeks ago and he has still not replied. Too bad the breakfast is great, The location is great but the ants are a bumper
not as nice as our last stay and room was more expensive and some items not in proper working order, It would be nice if they had some area around the pool with shade, like umbrellas as would have like to sit outside and enjoy the warm weather but not bake in the sun.
Stayed here just for one night on a pass through in Nashville. Everything was clean, new and the staff was friendly. It isn't pet friendly but I would definitely recommend this location and would stay here again.
Very nice hotel - and appears to have been recently updated. We stayed in a lovely King Suite and it had a nice roomy sitting area. This hotel is a stop for several Nashville shuttles; Grand Ole Opry, Downtown, etc. The hotel staff are knowledgeable about the shuttles and they are a great value and time saver! Love the Opry shuttle - only $10 and they take you right there and are waiting for you when the show is over! Parking at the Opry is a big hassle so this is a great benefit for staying here!
The hotel was very conveniently located, close to the Opryland Convention Center. I really liked the convenience of the shuttle service ($10 round trip) to Music Row in the evenings. Breakfast was decent though I would have liked more fresh fruit options and other healthier choices.
Shuttle service was great from/to the airport as well as to the Opryland hotel. I stayed here because the conference hotel was sold out. It was a great alternative with the convenience of the shuttle. Free Breakfast was good. Walking distance to several restaurants.
Was surprise how quiet and comfortable this hotel is even thou it is located near opry mills with all the traffic. Staff was wonderful, and helpful. Rooms confortable and clean. Breakfast had a variety of hot and cold foods.
How can this hotel only rate 2 and a half stars?? Certainly the location isn't in downtown Nashville but the shuttle that runs throughout the day helps with that and it doesn't have the huge price tag of the downtown area. There are plenty of decent restaurants within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious with a sofa as well and it was very quiet for a good sleep. The shower was great, we had coffee and tea facilities in our room, good wifi and a reasonable breakfast....all this made for a great stay and good value too.
The location of this hotel is amazing! :) The staff was very welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Everything was well maintained and very clean. When traveling to Nashville, I will definitely keep this place in mind! Amazing find!
I made an online reservation and booked everything ok. Then I realized that I made the reservation for the wrong night. I called customer service and was told that the reservation could not be cancelled because it was booked under a 'special rate'. I was not even technically cancelling, I wanted to rebook. Nope, was told it can not be done. I can rebook, but will be charged for both bookings. Not good customer service!!
We just returned home from four nights at the Best Western Near Opryland. Here are the many positives . . . the room was excellent - large, comfortable, with a good bathroom and shower. If you're going to the Opry or nearby sights, the location is excellent. The breakfast is pretty good - the usual waffle makers, with scrambled eggs (are they real or powdered?), breakfast meats, and good coffee, There is a decent exercise room - though could they please extend their wifi coverage there? Is that too much to ask? My biggest beef, as a guy who likes to read the newspaper with breakfast, is that there are NO newspapers. None. When we stayed at the Best Western in Music Row, they had the usual USA Today PLUS the local paper (which is what I prefer). Here, there are none. Did I mention NONE? In my experience, this is unheard of for a hotel in this price range. Come on, people, fix this!!
We found our room to be adequate and clean. The desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was less than desired. The food was not of great quality and ran out very fast. The room amenities could have been better for the price we paid.
When we arrived the outside of the building looked really nice. When we approached the front desk there was no one to greet us. We pressed the button. Three people appeared from some where. The woman who checked us in wasn't very welcoming. We got to our room on the 1st floor, was very nice. Got a good night sleep. The breakfast area was very nice with a very good selection. As we were packing up to check out. I did notice a thick layer of dust on the head boards of the beds. Had the man who checked us out had asked about our stay, I would have told him about it. He didn't ask. I would still recommend this hotel anyway.
Check in was prompt, polite & friendly. Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast had a variety of hot and cold dishes. Great little roadhouse (Logans) just across the road that served great meals too. Would definitely stay again if i was to go back to Nashville (which i hope too)
For $150 per night we expected a lot more. The attached photo is indicative of the condition of the room. Damaged light sockets are a serious hazard and it appeared that a table was put in front of them to block them. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The room was mostly clean but overly cared for. There are many other choices and we will not return.
My husband and I traveled from London, Ontario CANADA to visit Nashville and we stayed here for the week. Our room was wonderful and having a fridge, microwave, and Keurig were helpful. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Twice we took the shuttle (offered through the hotel from an outside company) which is $10 per person for a round trip to downtown. Monica and her husband run the business and she's just lovely and helpful. They will pick you up at the hotel on the hour and the half hour. She will pick you up on Commerce St. between 3rd and 4th street on the hour until 2am. We rarely had the breakfast that was offered only because we wanted to try the fantastic breakfasts offered at places downtown such as Biscuit Love, Another Broken Egg, Pancake Pantry, Milk & Honey. We would stay here again.
Here to see the grand ole Opry and visit Memphis. Loved the free parking so we could site see and availability of shuttle to downtown so we didn't have to use Uber or taxi after exploring the honky tonks. Rooms are dated and dark as is the lobby. While the parking lot was full, we rarely saw other guests. Everyone including the front desk seemed half asleep most of the time.
The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. Free breakfast is always a big plus. And it was good! The location was perfect and fit into my travel plans very well. Thank you!
I stayed at this hotel during a convention located at the Grand Ole Opry Hotel. This hotel is pretty decent but a bit dated. The rooms are pretty good-sized with a love sofa, desk, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. I I would have given this hotel 4 stars, but my room wasn't cleaned very well before my arrival. The phone an alarm clock or unplugged and there was bottle caps left in the room. The bathroom could have been cleaned better as well. My TV signal kept dropping out during my entire stay of 3 days which became quite annoying. The bed was ok with a very thin comforter. The hotel, rooms and the surrounding area outside were very quiet. The temperature was quite cold during my stay and the rooms AC and heater work like a champ to keep me warm. The hotel offers a hot continental breakfast which includes scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, bread, biscuits and gravy, muffins and pastries, various fruits, cereal, and juices. The location is located near a mall and quite a few good restaurants. Parking is free and the entire staff was very friendly. If you're on a budget this is a pretty decent hotel for the price.
Definitely not the best place I've ever stayed, but was close to Opry (less than a mile) and other attractions. Room had some stains on ceiling and another guest's car was vandalized while we were there, which was concerning. I'm not too picky about my hotels, but I'd probably pick another place and pay a few bucks more. Close to restaurants and nice sized mall.

Located quite close to the Grand Ole Opry. Room quite lage and spacious with all basic amenities. Clean. Staff quite friendly. Breakfast was good and adequate, Buffet style. Large and safe parking area available. Free parking. Good Wifi. Quite a lot of place to have a meal close by.
This was a very nice stay. We stayed one night so for tge price it was a good deal. It was quiet and clean. Located close to the grand ole opry and the wax museum so perfect for us. Free parking and inside elevator made us feel safe too.
We stayed here for 2 nights and were quite impressed with the hotel. Our room had a king bed (which was comfortable). There was a separate sitting area with a couch , coffee table, desk and a safe. The heat/ac unit was a bit loud even on low fan. The breakfast here was excellent. Lots to choose from and lots of tables. If you stay here check out Caney Fork restaurant. It has a unique menu and reasonable prices. It is not part of a chain.
We were very impressed with our room. It was very spacious, clean, the beds were comfy and the water pressure in the shower was most impressive! It also had a frig, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, and iron. I also liked the sitting area with couch and the computer desk (perfect for a makeup applying area for the ladies). The location is less than 10 minutes from Opryland Mills Mall and the Grand Ol Opry and you don't need to get back on the interstate!
The important things in the room were up to date... Carpet, beds, shower fixtures were all good. Bathroom ceiling looked patched, wall corners could use paint... Just some small details like that made the room feel not 5 star worthy. A $10 Best Western coupon was a cause of most of the frustration with staff. No one seemed to know how to apply it nor did they follow through with an email or call as promised when they did figure it out. Night desk guy went in the back room to yell repeatedly before coming back out composed to talk to me about a to go breakfast bag?!? I can't say I would stay there again if I needed a hotel in the area, it was decent for the price but I would probably look for something else if I could find it.
We chose to stay here the night we went to a show at The Grand Ole Opry! It was perfect, breakfast was very good and our room was nice! Great price, clean, comfortable, great location I would absolutely stay here again.
. We have stayed there twice now visiting Nashville from Australia and we have found this place to be great value for money. The other advantage is its location, it's very close to the Grand Ol Oprey and offered a shuttle bus service to the heart of Nasvilles nightlife for a small fee. We had a car but opted for this so we didn't have to find a park in Nashville and also wanted to enjoy some bars .
We stayed at the Best Western Opryland on New Year's Eve and attended the Jimmy Buffett Concert. The hotel was clean, breakfast was the usual hotel food. We took a shuttle downtown and found the hotel close to restaurants and loved Opryland Mills. I would definitely recommend this hotel,
Thye location allowed us easy access to the Opryland Convention Center and BW supplied a shuttle to and from the convention center from 8-8. The staff went above and beyond to help us and even drove us to dinner one night. A big shout out to Chastiy at the front desk! She was very friendly and easy to talk to and always had recommendations. Hey Chastiy, I got the jacket at Dress Barn! We also used the bus service to downtown which is $10/pp for round trip. Great deal. The breakfast was good, especailly loved the yogurt and toppings. We never had any issues with the wifi and the housekeeping staff were always friendly. The beds were comfortable and never heard any outside noises. We would stay here again when in the Nashville area.
Internet is a priority for me- so after booking this location for four nights and checking in- I hopped on line and the internet was spotty. I had a meeting to get to so went on and came back that evening- and the internet was even slower. I was there for a weekend into the first of the week convention- the next morning was a Saturday- I called the front desk to ask for a room switch to get better internet- she said it was a hotel wide problem and that the wifi provider was not being helpful. She promised she would call them again and check with her manager- she called back and said she had made both calls. Saturday night- the internet was non existent- I had to use my hotspot on my phone to do work. Sunday morning- as I left for my meetings- I talked to the front desk and informed them I would have to leave if they could not get the internet working- told them I could give them to mid afternoon- they said ok Sunday Afternoon- I get back to the room and there is NO internet- the guy at the front desk was RUDE and said he could print me NO bill- would not allow him to print it til after midnight- I told him I was leaving and he said I would be charged for three of the four nights- promised him i would protest the credit card charge if that was the case- said internet was not part of the charge for any room- it did not matter. I check in to a Holiday Inn Express with exceptional INTERNET- spent two nights there and go home I get home- Best Western has charged me for all four nights. Moral of the- STAY AWAY from this substandard Best Western!

The Desk Clerk at check in was very friendly and helpful. Directed us to a wonderful restaurant, John A's and gave us some tips on parking for the Grand Ole Opry and downtown. Hotel was close to restaurants, attractions and downtown. Room was comfortable, beds nice and a good breakfast.
This hotel was a clean, convenient place to stay here Opryland. The beds were comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. However, the internet was very poor, the bathroom ceiling had some mold and the service staff are not the friendliest. The advertised shuttle is not the most convenient as it only operations on the hour and you have to pay $15 for it. It also stops operating at 8PM and does not run downtown.
We paid almost $400 For one night, 2 rooms. Our daughter woke up with bugs in her bed. I pulled the mattress back and a bug ran across the back of the mattress. When we lifted the mattress up there were what they called lady bugs and said they couldn't kill the lady bugs because they are the state bug. The bug that ran behind the mattress was definitely NOT a lady bug. Despite what the bugs were, the hotel did nothing to compensate. There was no manager on duty either. We come to music valley very frequently and will NEVER stay here again!
We stayed here for 3 nights. Super clean hotel. Friendly staff. Room was a good size, especially with 3 adults. Great breakfast with lots of selections. Very reasonably priced. In room safe and free WiFi. Hotel was in a great location. Super close to Opryland and Opry Mills. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend!
We were very pleased with this hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Nice location, a five minute drive from Opryland and the Opry Mills Mall. Just a short drive from downtown Nashville. The breakfast was exceptional. Great selection and presentation. Hot and fresh and delicious.
Place was clean, not crowded....but what really annoyed me was the lack of customer service at front desk. We checked in near 4 hoping to get a shuttle ride within an hours to Opryland about 3 minutes away! We were told the last shuttle left at 4. We asked if the driver could wait a few minutes....we were told he couldn't do that...but no one was waiting for a ride and all we needed to do was run upstairs and drop off Bags. Then we were told it was $15 per person for duration of stay! I said well that's crazy as you don't run after 4? Anyway we took Uber back n forth and to airport in AM for less than $20! The problem I have was they weren't flexible and I stay on a regular basis at Best Westerns. There are plenty of hotels a stones throw away. I would recommend finding one that caters to their customers!
The hotel was very clean and the room was big and fresh unlike some hotel rooms that when you open the door hits you with a stale odor. The sheets and towels were bright white and not a dingy color. The bed was very soft and overall the room was a great valve.
No water due to busted pipe and when I asked for a bottle of water at front desk for my wife to take medicine I was told to purchase one out of the vending machine. REALLY!!! Room also was not made up on first night there.

Excellent hotel. Staff was polite and helpful. Room was clean, well equipped with refig, coffee maker, and sink. Beds were firm and room had a couch and desk with outlets to charge phones. Room was very quiet at night for sleeping. The breakfast was included and offered everything from eggs to pancakes, pastries and more. This was a great value.
With friends, we stayed in Nashville while visiting the Opryland Christmas program. We had very nice stay, rooms were clean, breakfast very nice, it would have been nicer to have a more helpful pleasant person at front desk. The location of the hotel was close to Opryland and several restaurant choices. We would select this hotel again when in the area.
Staff were superb, room was freshly decorated, bed comfortable, great breakfast . I would definitely recommend this hotel.shuttle bus to downtown $10 per person round trip , bus runs on the hour. Till 2am.
We were sick when we got there but stayed in for one day and had lots of room to spread out use the whirl pool and that help too. Was close to outside door, ice machine, breakfast and lobby which worked out great. Got the rest we needed to go have fun on the last days we were there.
We called the hotel direct to reserve 2 nights. Upon arrival the desk attendant couldn't find our name. I gave her the confirmation number and she said our reservation was for next month....really. We were able to get a room. I have to say the room could use a good cleaning mildew in the tub corners??.... it also would be helpful to get rid of all the ladybugs. At last count we had found 4. We stay at Best Western hotels frequently and this place does not live up to their good name. Wouldn't stay here again.
We returned to this hotel to visit Nashville, after having stopped for a one-nighter during a recent vacation. Although we missed not having a pool or hot tub, the room was super, the breakfast was great, and the Music City Shuttle couldn't have been more convenient for trips downtown.
Nice, clean facility comfortable beds and pillows, decent breakfast menu. close to restaurants, shopping, music and Grand Ole Opry. Music venues close by to hear good old Country from some great talent, Drivable distance to Mammoth Caves.
Great location. The rooms were clean and spacious rooms. Add in a friendly helpful staff and what more can you ask for? Having a 12p checkout made the morning very relaxing and we didn't feel rushed which was an extra bonus.
The friendly staff, clean spacious room with an economical price makes this a great place to stay. The breakfast staff makes breakfast a pleasure. The location could not be better. Very quiet and nice.
Cold showers--Broken Vehicle Windows--No Care of Compassion or Time of Day from Hotel Manager or Employees!!!!! Horrific Experience!!! No Hot Water to take a shower! The running water tastes like hose water!!! The Manager or Front Desk Clerks basically didn't even respond about all of the issues when I spoke to them about them. There were 5 other vehicles with shattered windows. Horrific part of town, dont stay here!!!! Management does not care. If you stay, enjoy that freezing cold shower.
This was a very nice hotel. The rooms are a nice size. The bed was really comfortable, room was really clean, internet worked great, breakfast was good...what more do I need All in all...a great experience...
Spent the week here while at convention in Nashville. Hotel is only a 20 minute walk to the Convention center at the Gaylord. Had a daily shuttle which brought us over or I walked when warm enough. Rooms are renovated and service was excellent.. Little problem with remote but staff were prompt in finding either a battery or new remote to fix.
THis hotel has airport shuttle which is $15 return trip,also. Shuttle to downtown Nashville runs every hour up till 2 am in the morning , cost $10 return,either taxi ride to oprey Mills shopping mall, this mall is huge and takes about 2 hours to do the circle, all sorts of upmarket stores to the cheaper ones,restaurants and theatre IMAX and children's activities,, Madame Tussaud's, we walked from the hotel which took around45 minutes, The front staff especially Stephen was very helpful , tea and coffee 24 hours in the lobby , rooms are comfortable and have enough facilities , microwave, great hair dryer, tea and coffee machine, fridge, safe

Very nice hotel and conveniently located near the Opry and the General Jackson. Easy access to freeways for travel to downtown. We used Uber and shuttle transportation to downtown venues. We would stay there again.
The hotel staff were very efficient and friendly especially the young lady who worked the breakfast area. The breakfast was adequate and clean area. The price was a bit more than we expected at 225 dollars but we had no problems.

Absolutely faultless. Ambience of a brand new hotel. Air con was quietest on trip. Opening window, and resultant availability of fresh air was wonderful! Beds supportive and comfy, sheets and bedding as good as any. Rooms extremely quiet, best on trip. Neibouring rooms were rarely audible. Good sized fridge freezer! Spacious room, even had a lounge and writing table. Bathroom was spacious, hot water was instant. Great to see a sink with the kitchenette rather than having to use bathroom to rinse cups etc.. Breakfast exceeded expectations. Overall ambience and interior decoration was of a luxury hotel!
We stayed 2 nights to make plans for a future family reunion. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Location was convenient to Opryland, restaurants, and other attractions. Although we did not have breakfast at the hotel, the area was attractive and clean.
From our arrival on the 18th of October until our departure on the 21st, the staff at this Best Western made us feel welcome. The breakfast area was kept clean and stocked as soon as anything ran out. Any time we stopped or passed the front desk we were asked if we had everything we needed. Our rooms were straightened each day, beds remade and bathrooms cleaned. The shuttle which was available upon request, took you downtown and back for $10.00 and we also learned that if while in the shuttle you re-booked on the same day for another round trip, it was only an additional $5.00 with a pickup up til 2:00 a.m. These drivers were fantastic too.
Our stay was October 10 - 17th. The staff was very pleasant and professional and I would likely stay there again .Room very nice with fridge, microwave and coffee machine There is Tea coffee machine in the lobby. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety. The proximity to the Grande Ole Opry & the mall was great. We took the shuttle 3 times downtown at a cost of $10/person return trip. Great service & value, highly recommend.
I was only in the hotel in the evenings but since I was there for business. However, the internet access was good and not slow for my work access. The staff was very pleasant and professional and I would likely stay there again over a much higher priced hotel where the conference was held.
This was a great stay. the staff was very friendly and helpful the breakfast staff was very efficient. We will be contacting Best Western for our next stay that will be for 10 days for another event. I will be booking a group of 10 to15 rooms and I'm sure everyone will be happy with the accommodation.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. We were a group of 10 and had 5 room, that were fairly clean It would have been better if there were fridges in the rooms but there wasn't. We had asked to all be on the same floor but 2 rooms were on 1 and 3 were on another. Turned out okay. Had trouble with internet but that was solved the second day had to call someone and walk through the process. Breakfast area was clean and food was great restocked promptly. I left a photo by accident and had a message waiting when I got home, called Terry and she is sending it to me at her expense, needles to say that is above and beyond. I will be sending her the money. Thanks Terry.
Our experience with with hotel was nothing but EXCEPTIONAL. I escorted a large group to Nashville, all my guests raved about this property. Really how could we go wrong? We needed a hotel close to the Opryland Resort for one night. This Best Western was across the freeway, priced perfectly, comfortable and provided a free breakfast! After travelling across country from Canada, it was exactly what we needed!

We were staying one night to see Cavalia and wanted to stay close to the venue. Read the reviews and this was one of the more reasonably priced hotels with a good rating. It lived up to my expectations. We booked a suite and it was very spacious. Complete with microwave, refrigerator and couch/hide-a-bed. Room was clean, staff was courteous and the breakfast was very nice and the staff were remarkably efficient and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I would definitely stay here again.
We've been to Nashville a couple of times and decided to try to save some money and try a hotel that didn't break the bank. This is not such an easy task in Nashville especially if you want to stay down town or at the Opry. The Best Western is conveniently located and offered good sized rooms that were clean and well equipped The water pressure was very good, comfortable beds and the continental breakfast had a variety of options. Overall a good options for rooms under the normal gouging prices of the area.
Attended a conference at Opryland, and was pleasantly surprised by this property. New, clean rooms, nicely appointed. Multiple pillow types as per high end rooms. Friendly staff. Note: Most of the restaurants nearby were closed up like a drum at 10:30pm. There was an option for pizza in the room, and a Waffle House not far away open 24 hours...:)
could have picked a wide range of hotels in the area but have always stayed in BW. Don't want to complain about check in as it was pleasant. Thought hotel was over priced but that is set by how much can be charged as have been in the travel industry for many years.

The Best Western is very convenient to Opryland. Our room was fine, although it could use more light. It's not so convenient for hitting the honky tonks on Broadway, but the Music City Shuttle meets that need.
The hotel is close to the Grand old Opry and the large opryland mall.The hotel offers a shuttle service thru a private contractor to downtown Nashville for $10.00 return/person. The staff at the hotel are friendly and eager to be of assistance. Breakfasts are good with a good mix.
My wife and I stayed for three nights while visiting Nashville. The place is near to the Grand Old Oprey (park for free on the Mall car park) and downtown is only 20 minutes by shuttle bus. Take the bus! It costs ten dollars for a round trip and saves driving in city traffic and then having to find somewhere to park). The hotel rooms are comfortable and well equipped, there is a laundry and a swimming pool. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. My only niggle was the breakfast which had a VERY limited choice, awful orange juice and very limited seating. C'mon guys - lots of people judge a hotel by it's breakfast and this is the one area you need to rethink your policy!
My wife and I went here for our anniversary and we were very disappointed with this hotel. The beds were hard not very comfortable. The sink in the bathroom was clogged and leaking on the floor. They had adequate parking. The breakfast was okay but, just average. The staff were nice and polite. Probably would not stay here again cause for $250.00 a night, We expected a lot better.
We found all hotels are high priced in Nashville. We found this to be the best value close to the Grand Ole Opry. 5 story hotel, very clean and modern, every aspect was top notch. Secure area, very spacious room. Only 5 minutes from the Opry and plenty of restaurants nearby.

Stayed here for 7 nights last week , stayed in this area before so knew of the its convenience to attractions and great downtown shuttle service, hotel was very nice with large clean rooms also very comfy beds and pillows , breakfast was very good too and plenty of choice with great tasting coffee would definitely stay here again and recommend to others
The rooms were clean, maybe needed a little updating, but clean. While not modern, they did provide all the things you might need: microwave, fridge, mini coffee pot, ironing board, and hair dryer. The staff were all outstanding. Greeted, assisted, thanked, just all around pleasant people! Location was nice. Close to the Palace (Nashville must see bar/a historic beer drinking, music playing original) the Mall, The Grand Ol Opry, and shuttles for everywhere
The room was nice, I was there on business so the desk was a plus. Room was clean and employees were very nice and helpfull. Huricane Irma brought rain so I didnt experience the amenities. Lots of good eating places within walking distance. Overall it was a delightful experience and I would definately stay there again.
In Nashville for the eclipse and to soak up some country music. Chose this because it was close to the Grand Ole Opry and it got an extra few precious seconds of eclipse over downtown. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Really good size TV, refrigerator, microwave, free wifi and pod coffee machine made it very comfortable. Pool was a good size and seemed well maintained. AC was probably a bit loud and in the extreme heat conditions had some trouble maintaining the, to be fair, very low temperatures we were asking of it in the daytime. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Several food outlets within a short distance. Grand Ole Opry, Opry Mills mall, Gaylord resort atrium (make sure you park in the Opry Mills carpark and walk over instead of paying for parking at the resort which can run to $29) and a large movie complex including an imax make it entertaining. There is a shuttle to downtown for $10 return which allows you to avoid traffic, parking fees and drink driving when visiting the venues which runs until 1:30am. Definately would stay here again.
This hotel is very convenient to the Grand Ole Opry and Opryland Mills mall. Its also very easy to get to both the Hermitage and all the attractions in downtown Nashville. The price was right. The breakfast was good and free. The staff was friendly. I'd definitely stay there the next time we're in Nashville.

Having read reviews of near-by hotels I wasn't expecting much, but the Best Western was a nice sized room, clean, comfortable, quiet, not at all worn or tired - perfect for my purposes, and a reasonable price too. A reasonable range of channels on TV, decent wi-fi, and a good choice of hot and cold breakfast items. Don't overlook this hotel!
Nice rooms great breakfast including b&g eggs hot oatmeal pastries yogurts waffle make even a pancake maker breakfast attendant was always helpful and cheerful front desk attendants were pleasant and helpful to accommodate our needs. Great place to stay
The Best Western is just a short distance from Opry Mills and the Grand Ole Opry. They offer a shuttle service which will take you into downtown Nashville or across to the Grand Ole Opry for $10.00 per person round trip- which is a great service! The hotel is tastefully decorated. The beds are comfy, water is hot. Breakfast is the average- eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, toast, bagels, danish, yogurt, fruit, cereal. Closes promptly at 9:30- so get there before that. They offer in room coffee- but no de-caf in the rooms- only in the lobby. It is a total pain-in-the-butt ( and discriminatory)to have to get dressed and go down to the lobby to get your cup of coffee! Also, housekeeping tends to monopolize the elevators going up and down with their carts at the same time guests are going for breakfast and checking out. One would think that housekeeping could get set up the night before- so as to avoid tying up elevators at this time. A bit pricy for what we got!

What a disappointment! Stayed there recently...got the King Suite with whirlpool tub. Couldn't wait to get to the room from the airport and just relax before going out...had a very different vision of the room in my mind. Walked into the lobby...not terrible, but staff did not seem to know what they were doing or care much. Then we went to our room. Walked in expecting to see a bright beautiful room and wow, it was dark, small and crowded with all mismatched furniture that was really uncomfortable; the couch was some old fashioned thing that had a curved back without cushions, you couldn't sit on it and be comfortable...your back never touched the back of couch and it was impossible to sit there. So we sat on a couple of hard wooden chairs from the little entrance area. There was a counter set up like a little bar which had two chairs faced toward the wall, nothing to see there...really bland and well, laughable really. The whole kitchenette/living room was mismatched and dark and made you want to leave the hotel. None of the colors matched; it was as if they got a bunch of cheap stuff on sale, including the carpet and paint and just threw it all in there. We couldn't change hotels because it was the solar eclipse time and we couldn't find another place. The bedroom with the whirlpool tub and the bathroom were fine but nothing could make up for the living area...for the price we paid we were pretty disappointed. It was clean at least and close to Opryland and a place we could catch a shuttle downtown. Would not ever stay there again.
The hotel is across from Opryland and right near Opryland Mills mall. The room was large and clean. It had fridge, microwave and coffee makings. Friendly front desk staff. Full breakfast with waffles, pancakes, scrambled eggs and fruit plus more. It's about 15 minutes from downtown and easy to get around from.
This hotel is very conveniently located to the Opry and Opry Mills. It has been recently updated inside and out. A stay here is exactly what you want from a mid range hotel... clean, safe, comfy bed and pillows, free parking and easy access to venues. We weren't able to get a room here on the return leg of our trip, opting for an Inn a stones throw away right next to the gokart track, a mistake we won't make again. A couple of minor possible improvements, the area off the lobby where the elevators are, is too dimly lit, it's hard to see the elevator button and for some reason the shuttle van is constantly parked in front of the hotel blocking one of the luggage unloading lanes. We would and have recommended this hotel to family and would stay here again.
Nice hotel in the heart of Opryland. Fantastic welcome from the staff when we arrived and they continued to be very welcoming and helpful whenever we came in contact with them. We used the shuttle service to downtown which was great, very central drop off and pick up points and arrived and left on time. Good breakfast with lots of hot and cold options, plentiful coffee and juice. Although we only stayed 1 night, this hotel seemed to be in a good area and location for visiting in and around Nashville.
Spacious modern rooms. Good breakfast. Well placed for mall. Several restaurants nearby. Hotel runs a return shuttle downtown until 1.30am for 10$ each. We used this on both nights. Takes about 15mins in to town. Good pool area. Great hotel.
Broken air unit, thin walls, flat pillows, staff not willing to help. Breakfast ended too early. Staff not friendly or helpful. TV remote would not work half of the time. Shuttle service was hard to get to. Other people staying in the hotel were loud. No vent in bathroom.
We had a spacious, comfortable room with a desk, settee, kitchen bench (microwave and coffee machine). There was a large safe in the room. In the lobby there was a self-service coffee and cold drinks facility (free!). There was also a snack-vending machine. The view was over a construction site ... however we weren't there to spend time in our room admiring a view!! Unfortunately, the hotel pool was closed. It's a handy location, close to restaurants. We'd recommend trying Logan's roadhouse - an extraordinary place featuring buckets of peanuts on the tables and peanut shells al over the floor!!
Stayed at this hotel as part of a visit to Tennessee. The location was perfect for driving into the city of Nashville, also great for exploring other nearby cities. The pool is great (although we've used better - bigger & with hot tubs). Laundry facilities were good (stayed here during US road trip, and needed to wash a load of clothes). The room was clean and standard Best Western fare. Breakfast was "help yourself" Waffles, toast, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, juice etc.
My friend and I stayed one night, wanted to pay 1/2 each upon check-in, and leave a card on file as is typical anyway. Attendant wouldn't let us pay and said we had to pay when we left. (First of all, I have never had anyone refuse to take my money.) Next morning when we wanted to check out around 6:15, NO employee to be found at front desk nor anywhere around office area. What sounded like two phones, were ringing OFF the hook. Other people had been waiting in line and told us they were giving up. We looked nearby in the breakfast area - no employee. Phones still ringing. A few more people came up to check out. They gave up and left. We couldn't leave because we were each paying half and needed an attendant to take our money. Phones still ringing. Finally after about 20-25 minutes we left to go to eat breakfast, and then came back. Then there were two front desk employees on duty. They told us the desk/office employee that we would have been looking for was on kitchen duty. Now let me pose this question...what if the at least one of the phones that was ringing was someone in a guest room who was having an emergency? Or What if someone had walked in off the street and thought hey, this would be a great place to do something bad? What if there had been a fire, someone fell, someone had come to the desk who was sick and needed immediate attention? The management decision to have a front desk person also do kitchen duty is a bad one. There was at least one charter bus full of people who had stayed overnight. A person on kitchen duty feeding breakfast to a large number of people cannot leave the kitchen and if they do, it will be for serving the food, etc. It will NOT be for checking on the desk--not realistic. This is a very dangerous situation and I know it's done to save the hotel money, but in the long run it may COST the hotel a lot. Safety First! I will not stay there again. Bad, bad management decision.

Breakfast is Awesome. Variety is substantial. Includes Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage, Real Orange juice and great coffee. Owner/Manager is great to staff and guests. Location is fantastic. Near to everything important. Shuttle to downtown is more than reasonable(I wouldn't take a bus or my own car). Great drivers. Really enjoyed our stay!
This hotel went out of their way to ensure that all guests during the solar eclipse had the best possible experience. They arranged for the exterior lighting to remain off during the eclipse, instead of automatically turning on due to the darkness. They also purchased eclipse glasses for use by guests (and staff) who did not already have their own. I appreciated the fact that they also wanted their staff to have the opportunity to view this unique event. While this was a unique event, their attention to the enjoyment of their guests shows that they would be equally attentive to guest needs for other events.
I found this hotel to be very comfortable and updated. The front desk was EXTREMELY accommodating and answered every question we had. They even called us a cab and suggested other methods of transportation to the Opry. There is a shuttle to the airport for a small fee, and the hotel contracts another company for bus rides downtown. This service was great and extremely affordable (I think $10 for a two-way ride plus tip). The hotel rate was less than others nearby and much less than other parts of town, and we found it perfect for our needs. Will stay again!
This is the place to stay. We got there late looking for a room, & the desk clerk was very nice. It was on the 5th floor, but we managed with a cart. elevator close for my daughter who can't walk far without it hurting her feet. Very clean. Reasonable price for the the room. It was very nice. Quiet. Only problem it had was the bathroom door, it almost hits the toilet, hard to click it shut.
Recently spent 2 nights at this hotel in August 2017. Room was very nice & clean and, despite being busy, the place was quiet at night. We got good night's sleep both nights. The free breakfast was great - bacon, eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles, cereals, fruit....Well there was plenty to chose from and the eggs weren't those rubbery boiled eggs you sometimes get. They were light fluffy scrambled eggs and very good! Would recommend.
Steve at the front desk was very friendly,helpful and made me feel very welcome .He made my stay feel more personal. Great place to stay and I would stay there again for sure. The hotel was very clean and located in a great spot close to many things to do I love Tommy's shuttle and how the hotel staff would call if you needed a pick up.
On two occasions I have visited the Nashville area with friends. On both occasions we stayed on the Best Western and were pleasantly surprised at the convenient location, ability to use the shuttle services to get downtown, continental breakfast, and friendly staff.
Hotel was convenient and staff was gracious. Steve and Candice went out of their way to provide assistance Including setting up shittle service at a more reasonable cost. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Nashville area
My wife and I have stayed here multiple times. The BWS Near Opryland is a very reasonable priced hotel close to the Grand Ole Opry, General Jackson Showboat and Opry Mills Mall. It's about a 15 minute easy drive to downtown Nashville. We enjoyed celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary here. The room we had for our 4 night stay was more than adequate. Very clean ! There was a shuttle to downtown but I prefer driving. We had no problem getting to the Bridgestone Arena" Tim McGraw/Faith Hill Concert" and Broadway. Breakfast was pretty typical but good. All staff I encountered was friendly and eager to be helpful. We shall return!
We chose to stay at The Best Western near Opryland so we could be close to Nashville without breaking our budget. We managed to get a pretty decent price and for the size of the room, I was happy. We had a king size bed that had a couch and sitting area next to it. I love rooms like this, because it felt more like being in a suite instead of a closed in hotel room. Everything in our room worked fine, although no fan in the bathroom seems like either an oversight or a way to cut costs on the end of the hotel. I've run into this at other hotels as well, and have yet to figure out why they don't do it. I missed the breakfast, so can't comment on that. I found the check-in person at night and morning to be somewhat...there. Not overly friendly or down and out miserable, but not especially warm and friendly with the greetings either. I enjoy someone who can take a second and laugh at a joke or give a friendly smile. I found none of that with anyone who was working that day. I didn't need them for anything besides checking in or out, which I'm glad about. The pool was beautiful - sparkling and clear and they had some nice, comfy furniture to relax in poolside. They do offer a service to go to downtown Nashville. It cost $10 a person and was well worth it. Music City Shuttle picked us up and they were awesome! Very friendly and outgoing, knew exactly where to go and what was up on the main strip and was really professional and easy going. I can't recommend them enough. If you do head down to Nashville during the night there's lots of entertainment going on everywhere. It's like a mini Vegas/New York all in one little space. Lots of walking and loved to be able to sit on an open air patio and eat while watching everyone walk by. Overall, it was a nice stay. We had room 200 which was across from the ice machine and next to the stairs which made it nice to bring things up and down to the car without having to go through the front desk area. It was a quiet location and nice for the night.
I was really surprised that we had 2 double beds in our room. The room was small and clean but not really nice. I would say that the general theme of the place is "run down". One of the elevators was not working while we were there. There were workmen in the lobby both mornings we were there. It was just shabby. The positive is that the breakfast is pretty good and the place is clean. Despite being small, the beds are decent. Some of the staff is nice but some are not that helpful. All in all I would not recommend this hotel nor stay there again.
Great value. Quick walk to restaurant. Newly updated interior and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. Free breakfast was good except for the eggs. We had a car, but we also easily walked to McDonalds and Gaylord Opryland to meet other family and friends.
Nice, clean hotel with very friendly staff. It's about a 10-15 min drive to the downtown area however shuttle service every hour all day makes it very easy to experience Broadway in downtown Nashville and then stay away in a quieter area. Only issue that may arise is if in town for a large event (concert, sporting event, etc..) that shuttle service may be a bit slower and wait times occur, however this is expected during busy events like this.
I found this to be a good hotel, The room was clean, the staff helpful and friendly. It was close to Opryland and several restaurants. We had to shuttle into Nashville but that could not have been easier. We just told the person at the front desk that we needed a shuttle and it would pick us up at the hotel lobby and returned us there when we wanted to return. I would recommend this hotel.
Anniversary weekend with my Husband was very nice. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was a shuttle to go to downtown Nashville. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was as good as any other complementary breakfast I've had at other hotels.
We visited Nashville to attend the Grand Ole Opry and see a little of country music history. The hotel staff made it enjoyable by helping schedule transportation to the events that interested us. The hotel was very clean and the complimentary breakfast was very good except the coffee. It tasted like instant coffee and real coffee would have improved the breakfast experience greatly.
Best Western Suites near Opryland. We chose this hotel for the location near Opryland. Little did we realize that using Google Maps for navigation we would not be able to find the hotel. Once we did manage to stumble across the hotel which is set back from the road behind new construction things got better. The check in process was easy, and the clerk helpful. Then the next disappointment hit, one of the two elevators was not working, so things were a bit slow getting to a 4th floor room. The room was nice, the beds comfortable, the room clean and quiet. One can take a Monarch Transport shuttle bus to the Opry, pick up was at 5:30pm for the 7pm show. Shuttle cost is $10 (round trip). Very convenient, well worth the $10 per person cost. Morning disappointment was when I wanted breakfast. Both elevators were out of service, there was a sign on the elevator doors saying to use the stairs at the end of the hall. At least it was a walk down and not up with luggage. The breakfast itself was very good. Scrambled eggs, sausages, oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, cereal, juice, coffee, etc. Better than most hotel "free" breakfasts.
I attended a conference at the Opryland Hotel but couldn't justify paying the Opryland Hotel prices. Best Western was a much better value plus they offered a shuttle service to and from the Opryland Hotel so it worked out well. It saved me a a couple hundred dollars on hotel expenses.
Enjoyed our stay. The employee working the breakfast area was fantastic. She went out of her way to make sure it was enjoyable. On the other hand the front desk staff seemed cold and unfriendly. They seemed too busy on the computer or phone to interact with guests.
First time at this hotel, very friendly staff they were very helpful moving us from our first room which had some water damage and somewhat dirty ( ceiling ) and walls, second room clean. I'm worried about the drinking glasses in the bathroom. Seemed just wiped out and not replaced after each guest, stains. Now on the the the breakfast area, it was small and not even average compared to most other chains. The eggs were chopped into small bits, the biscuits and gravy cold and tasteless, the yogurt was an off brand with a very odd taste. The coffee was so weak. This may be free but nothing to make me want to sit down and eat this. We went off site for breakfast instead. And finally they have two elevators which only one worked the entire 4 days we were there, sometimes we could wait at least 5 minutes at times. I would like to mention that the hallways need vacuumed and not done while we stayed here. I can't say I wouldn't stay here again based on price, but I'd rather stay at a hotel based on past trips to Nashville.
We really enjoyed our first visit to Nashville. Very clean hotel with helpful and polite staff. Only thing I would change is the $10 shuttle fee to downtown, but all hotels in the area charge this fee.
Stayed for two nights as part of a road trip from Charlotte Airport to Milwaukee. Plenty of free parking. Staff friendly. Good size room clean and tidy. Fridge and microwave, dedicated USB charging ports, comfy bed. Good size flat screen TV with approx. 30 channels some not working, some just rubbish reception and a few in HD… another useless generic remote! Wi-Fi waste of space. Very slow with intermittent connection. Apparently this was due to the hotel being full! Then why not update the system to cope if this is a known problem? Bathroom clean and tidy. Good size counter top, excellent lighting, plenty of hot water with good pressure and a really useful magnifying mirror! Breakfast room reasonable size with a reasonable selection. Good location especially for the Grand Ole OPry (totally recommended). Two restaurants within walking distance. Overall a good hotel. One of the better Best Westerns (and there has been some dire ones!) we have stayed in to-date but with a few shortcomings that could easily be rectified. Did not use pool, etc.
This Best Western is an excellent place to stay. The staff was very polite and friendly, the hotel was very clean and the location was very close to the Gaylord Opryland Resort. I would definitely recommend staying here.
The a/c didn't work well. I spent one night sweating profusely. The rest of the hotel was fine. The staff was hit or miss with their kindness. Stephen was especially nice. Others were kind of snotty. The pool area was nice. My friends were able to swim for a time and had fun.
We stayed at the Best Western Opryland for 3 nights and it was a wonderful choice. Loved the downtown shuttle so we didn't have to fight traffic and parking. The proximity to Opryland and the Grand Ole Opry was such a convenience! The breakfast options were plentiful and the cleanliness of the hotel was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Nashville. We felt very safe and comfortable here.
This hotel is a great value and the front desk is helpful with arranging shuttles, tours, and making recommendations. The only downside is the breakfast. The scrambled eggs are not very good. A few more options, like hard boiled eggs would be good, or even peanut butter to go with the toast or waffles.
We recently stayed here and could not believe how big and modern the rooms were. It is located reasonably close to the Grand Old Opry which is why we chose it, we even walked back from there after the show we saw last night, even though it is a bit of a walk. The hotel offers free breakfast and parking which is nice, the Wifi is okay and our room had the best beds we have slept in a hotel for a long time. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
The man who checked me in was very helpful. However, during the audit (night) shift, I had to personally ask to be moved myself, as the problems I experienced were not being addressed by the audit worker. The breakfast was not the best the first day, with watered down juice. But the second morning the juice was great and the items were being restocked better than the first breakfast experience.
Typical American chain hotel. Good size rooms. Breakfast good quality. Staff very polite and helpful. Shuttle ($10 pp return) to Nashville runs every hour from 9.30 a.m. Hotel is 2nd pickup point, so always a seat free. Gets pretty crowded further you go on. Drops (and pick up from) near the Ryman Auditorium (well worth a visit) and less than a 10 minute walk to the main strip. Country Music Hall of Fame about another 10. If you are going to the Grand Ole Opry (a must really, we had a great nights entertainment, even though there was no real "name" on the bill), and you have car, dont bother with shuttle bus, (still $10 pp) as it is less than a 5 minute drive away. The GOP shares a very large car park with the Opry Shopping Mall and there is plenty of space. Easy to get out at end of show, less than 15 minute), even though there were a few thousand cars. Eating and drinking is about more difficult. You need to "shop" around. A good bar serving good food (sorry, cant remember name) is only a very short walk from hotel. Nearest places after that are a good 10-15 minute walk away.
Overall good hotel. Needing more frequent deep cleans. Staff were very knowledgeable of the area and resources. Staff were very kind excep night staff didn't smile and greet you as you entered but overall good place. Nice hot breakfast.
We took a 3 day trip to Nashville and this was a great stay for the trip. It was close to Opry, and had shuttle services for downtown. The room was clean, the staff was helpful on places to see in the city.
Took my niece out for a Nashville weekend trip. Hotel was very nice and clean. We arrived very early in the morning and wanted to downtown. They told me I could leave my car in the parking lot and we took the shuttle downtown. It cost $20 for two of us and worth every penny. We also went to Opry and used the shuttle again. Breakfast was good and will for sure visit again when back in the area.
Spent 3 nights at the Best Western Opryland while we explored the city. Very nice hotel. Housekeeping were great in bringing new towels daily and making the bed daily as well. Very quiet rooms...you didn't hear much outside noise from other rooms or the hallways!
On July 3, 2017 a staff member went into my room after I had checked in and had put the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. When I talked with the manager on duty, she insinuated that I was lying but when the TV isn't facing in the direction that you left it then someone else was in there while I was gone. Thank goodness I didn't leave valuables in there when I went out for a bit to eat.
Hotel is clean and reasonable priced for the area. Close drive to Opryland and Opry Mills. If you have opry tickets take the shuttle to the opry for $10 pp definitely worth it. Nice pool. Hotel has vending machine and washer/dryer. The staff at the front desk are friendly and knowledgeable. However, get to the buffet breakfast early or the food will be gone. One particular worker seemed overwhelmed by the breakfast crowd and would not fill the pancake machine even though there was still a 1/2 left to the end of breakfast (don't know how long it was empty before i got there and asked), but she had time to listen to her music in her ear and dance around.
Stayed in a King Suite. Nice size room, Very clean and beds and pillows were comfortable. Good location and convenient shuttle to downtown. Appreciated that they offer a special rate for Military Veterans. We enjoyed our stay very much.
We stayed here 2 years ago for a photography show at Opryland. At that time it was having renovations and had the briefest of breakfast hours. Construction is now done, and the breakfast area is fully finished. We wandered in to see it and the business center(Windows 7 on the computer monitors). We chose to have breakfast at the Bob Evans down the street both mornings. Our room was right across from the elevator and was remarkably quiet and insulated. Keurig style coffee pot mini bar sink, microwave, fridge. Only laundry room we saw was a single washer and single dryer on the first floor down near the pool end of the building. We'll consider staying again, depending on our trip route.
After realizing our room was over booked, the manager threaten to evict us by force if we did not accept and pay for an upgrade. The upgrade included a moldy and drain blocked shower at no additional charge
Hotel was very nice and extremely clean. All of the staff from desk operators, housekeepers, to breakfast women were extremely welcoming, courtious, and had the guenuine southern hospitality that's hard to find. My wife was really pleased with how clean the room, bed, hot tub, and bathroom were. No bar noise at night, no loud guest and very comfortable feel after dark walking out to vehicle in parking lot. Overall great experience. Will stay here every time we are in Nashville.
Less than 10 minutes away from Opry Mills and Grand Ole Opry. Very quiet for location and is conveniently located near many places to eat. Items for a hot breakfast are provided along with your typical continental breakfast. Would recommend to anyone traveling and doesn't want to stay downtown.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western hotel in Opreyland. All the staff were very friendly. Clean, quiet facility with lovely beds and spacious rooms. Conveniently located close to the insterstate. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
The hotel was very clean. The night person the morning I was checking out was very friendly. I did not find out until the last day there was a free shuttle to attend the CMA Festival. It would have been nice if staff had told me instead of an Uber driver.
My first trip to Nashville was a very good experience largely because of the excellent service of the staff and the amenities offered at this motel. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The shuttle services to downtown and to Opryland were great.
Stayed here a couple nights over Memorial Weekend. The staff was very friendly, check-in was quick and easy and the room was clean and quiet (our room faced away from the highway). The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast food but it was very good. They kept the breakfast area very clean throughout the morning rush. Very close to the Grand Ole Opry. We were impressed.....we'll stay here again.

Get the best western rewards and earn their points. all of the bet westerns I have stayed in have been great and there seems to always be a best western wherever I travel to. It is definitely worth the stay.
Hadn't stayed at a Best Western before because I had assumed they were a lower quality of hotel but I was pleasantly surprised by the Opryland Nashville, TN location. Great location to visit Opryland. Room was very spacious and comfortable for my daughter and I. Bed was very comfortable and shower head and water pressure great. Desk chair was even extremely comfortable! Housekeeping staff was very quiet in the morning unlike other hotels we have stayed at where they make noise to try to get guests up and out sooner to clean the rooms. Front desk staff helpful and friendly. Too tired to get up to try the breakfast- maybe next visit. Great room rate for these nice accommodations ! I became a Best Western member to get the great room rate. Very satisfied and will stay again.
Enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN It is very close to the highway system (only 15-20 minutes from downtown Nashville) and within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping areas. The breakfast provides a variety of hot and cold foods, and it is a wonderful way to start the day.
It was great time we had during our stay at Best Western. This place is very close to Opryland and other musical events. They also have provided Indian Breakfast (As special treat) during our stay while attending family Wedding. Overall Very GOOD Experience !!!
Booked this hotel using points and were so excited to stay as it was reviewed much better than a hotel we stayed at downtown and BW are usually very nice. Hotel signage was not great and when Uber dropped us off, we weren't even really sure we were in the right place...The lobby was surprisingly small and uninviting. I found each encounter (3 of them) with the front desk uncomfortable, like I was bothering them by checking in and out of the hotel. The room was very nice- bed was huge and comfortable, bathroom very grand. The wifi did not work AT ALL in this hotel and that was very disappointing for us as we were traveling internationally and using data was very expensive- thankfully we really only needed it to get a car to the Opry and the airport. If you were there for business or needed it to book tickets, tours, or Google map something, you would be totally out of luck. Breakfast was a good spread and a nice touch. Especially loved the biscuits! At checkout we were given a bill despite having booked using points well over 8 months ago. When I told the agent she really had no idea what to do with that information and attempted to call someone on her cell phone for assistance. When she didn't get an answer she told us we were free to go... Overall the room was nice but the service, internet and location were really lacking. We probably would not stay here again--would have been better off to uber back and forth between downtown and the Opry.
We stayed at the Best Western Opryland and had a very good experience. Rooms were quiet, clean and reasonably sized. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a substantial breakfast everyday, but did run a little low on some food items if you came at the end of breakfast. Location was great for the GOO, but about 15 minutes from downtown. We had a car there, which is a must if you intend to spend tome downtown. Uber and Lyft service was excellent for the couple times we used it instead of driving.
We were so impressed with this hotel in March, we booked 3 more nights in July. Not only are the rooms spacious, but they're modern and spotless. I could have spent an entire day in that shower! Their buffet breakfast is delicious. Fresh to order waffles and pancakes. Hot fresh scrambled eggs and bacon are just some of their items, and it was included in the price of the room. Not the cheapest place in town but no ridiculous resort or parking fees either. My only complaint would be their guest wifi. Not bad when the place is empty but it bogs down fast
The hotel was one of many in the area. We have stayed at Best Western on several occasions. When traveling, we will always look for a Best Western to stay. The price of stay in the area was satisfactory.
Stayed at this BWS in July of 2016 and knew then we would return again--just didn't think it would be as soon as May 2017 but we are now Grand Ole Opry fans for life and BW fans also! Highly recommend it . Great room size and quiet accommodations. Very good breakfast and nice pool. And daily shuttle availability to Opry and downtown are great also.
We stayed here last year for a week too. BW promised to correct the issues we had last year- and there were many. We decided to give it another try this year. Same bad experience- just different problems! No internet to speak of, poor breakfast- running out of foods every day, no help from staff on the issues. Mix up on rooms and requests we made 5 monthes before arrival. I could go on and on. Avoid this place if you are staying more than a night- you will be frustrated with it all by the end of your stay if you stay any longer than that!

The room was bigger than I expected - 2 queen beds plus a sitting area with a couch, coffee table and desk. Had a mini fridge, a keurig and an extra sink. Room was very clean, for the most part I enjoyed our stay here in 5/17. I thought it was a little strange that the housekeeping didn't empty our trash for a few days, even when I had tied up a bag that had some old banana peels in it, and we didn't receive fresh coffee cups or water glasses. No big deal because of the extra sink though, we just rinsed and reused. We also got a wake-up call at 6AM on Saturday morning that we definitely didn't ask for! It was loud and scared the heck out of me! But overall I liked the hotel and I would stay there again. Opryland is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Nashville but there's a good number of things to do just in the Opry area, as well.
The room we had was a king, with a sofa and desk. Very nice! Bed was very comfortable. TV was terrible and control was hard to work, but we didn't have much time to use it. Internet kept shutting down and reverting to xfinity. Very slow! Frustrating at times. However, we didn't use that other than early morning and late night. Location was good for Grand Old Opry and mall restaurants. Short drive to Broadway.
Good property and great location. You're near the Grand Ole Opry, airport and not too far from downtown Nashville. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast very good. However, the clerk my wife dealt with need customer service skills. He couldn't care less about her satisfaction or helping her with her concerns. I would have given this property and excellent rating if not for him!
Don't get me wrong...this hotel was not a dump. It just wasn't worth what I paid in $200/night. it was much better than what the Gaylord was charging, but I still think $200/night was well over what I should have paid. It should be closer to $100-@120/night.
The room was good and quiet, the bed was superb but ..... struggled to connect to the wifi for three days. Reported it but no it did not improve and no feedback given. Breakfast was standard BW but with many guests they do run out of things. The breakfast staff was not very friendly when approached. There is a shared shuttle service to nearby attractions and Nashville main.
Enjoyable. Rooms clean, beds comfortable. Enjoyed breakfast with courteous staff. Only downside was checkout. Desk person acted as though I was bothering her. Didn't get out of her chair, No thank you.
This hotel was great, clean and everyone was very helpful. I would stay at this hotel again. If you are visiting Nashville this is the hotel to stay in. Employees wonderful and really helped out with restaurants etc
Love this place. First time to Nashville. The two guys at the desk Sat. And Sunday morning were great. Very helpful. The local Music City shuttle was great. Ten dollars round trip per person. Beats driving down town and paying for parking. Clean well put together rooms. Would stay here again.
The front desk check in was quick and efficient. Front desk staff was informative and friendly. This hotel does link with a shuttle service to take you into downtown Nashville and will arrange pick up service for guests. I highly recommend using the shuttle service to go into Nashville city center. Our room was clean and equipped, the beds, although, I would prefer queen sized beds, (double sized) were comfortable. The free breakfast was a nice set up - eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, juice, fruit, cereal and breads and muffins. The kitchen/food area was clean and well organized with friendly staff. Overall, the hotel was clean, welcoming, and located near restaurants, stores, gas stations at an affordable price. I will definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for three nights. Good location with lots of restaurants really close. Price was ok for Nashville. Beds were comfortable, cold ac and good housekeeping services. Breakfast was the usual hotel buffet. Only a mile from the Grand Ole Opry.

We'd stay there again. We enjoy the location, within a shuttle, or inexpensive Uber ride to Opryland, and Downtown if one doesn't drive. The continental breakfast was good, for me, except for the powdered eggs. Room was nice sized, all amenities worked well. The shower, especially, was top notch with great water pressure.
Clean. Close to Grand Ol Opry. Easy on and off interstate. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Nice suite with jacuzzi tub after a long day. Quiet even though we were next to the elevator. Would highly recommend

always stay downtown but opted for other area for cheaper room, bed comfortable, breakfast good, location kinda across street from mall and Gaylord convention. many other hotels and restaurants in area, safe, quiet area. Drove down to Nashville but great idea is they have a shuttle that takes you to downtown for $10 round trip! picks up other hotel people also.
This hotel is located near \\Opryland. The price is about half of what you pay downtown Nashville. A shuttle service for $10 a person brings you downtown and back. Considering the parking prices downtown this is a bargain. The breakfast is great.
Room was very spacious! Can't beat it for the price. Staff was friendly . The continental breakfast was a lot better than expected, eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy all pretty good. Located close to Grand ole opry and other attractions.
I always stay in this part of town when I am here, but this was the first time I stayed at the Best Western. Not sorry I did. The rooms are very clean, the service is good and the breakfast wasn't even too bad. Good hotel for the price!
We stopped in Nashville for a quick visit of the Honky Tonk Highway and other musical attractions and booked at the Best Western at very short notice. We had our own car and were not concerned about the approximately 20 minute drive to downtown Nashville. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the coffee maker was very welcome. We did not have time to explore the other facilities but the room offered a very comfortable night's rest for two weary travelers. Breakfast was included in the rate and was a simple but satisfying affair. Scrambled eggs, pastries and waffles along with hot and cold drinks were on offer. It is very much an eat-and-run affair and perfectly good for business people or tourists who are on the move. A great find at short notice and a very comfortable stay.
Stayed two nights for business & was very pleased with everything. Clean & spacious suite, good quality & selection @ breakfast, friendly staff, and reasonable rates. What else can you ask for? Will definitely stay there again on next trip. Thanks guys!
My husband and I stopped here in November as we were traveling through Nashville. Normally I'm more of a Hampton frequenter, but I got a phenomenal rate here through a program and figured with a 4+ overall rating on Trip Advisor this hotel would be great. Not the case. The first room we walked into on the bottom level was not fully cleaned. We walked into the bathroom to find a toilet that had been used and not flushed (smelled awful), towels that weren't folded and a trash can with trash still in it. We immediately went to the front desk and asked for a different room. We were polite about it, and they were able to get us an upgrade to a "presidential suite" room, all the while apologizing. Nothing drops your hotel confidence level quicker than walking into an unclean room, so I was really expecting something to make up for that in the next room, especially considering it was an upgrade. Initial look through the room was nice. It had an entryway with table/seating and a small bar area as well as a living area. In the attached room was our king sized bed, a large jacuzzi cub and an attached bathroom. We were satisfied with it, until we started to get settled in. We then discovered multiple things that were very unsettling. In the bathroom, part of the ceiling was coming off, the cabinets were missing a handle, the towels were unorganized (in general little thought went into appearance) and I even discovered smudges of makeup and dark hair on one of the towels like it hadn't been washed (I'm blonde). In addition, when my husband went to shower, we discovered a draining issue with the shower that had him standing in a couple inches of water by then end. Also, during the middle of the night the ac unit sounded like an airplane taking off. All in all we were quick to get out of there after our stay and will not be using Best Western in the future. There are some things I truly consider intolerable, and the inability to keep a hotel room clean is one of those things.
I had a convention to attend at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center. I wanted to find something close, without paying the almost $300 per night room rate. I found this hotel on Music Row, and it was less than 5 minutes from the Gaylord. Reviews were good, so I booked it. I was not disappointed. The hotel had a king size suite, and was very clean. Even though my room was across the hall from the elevator, I never heard it nor anyone waiting to use it. The room was about 1/2 the cost, and very convenient. The Grand Old Opry is 5 minutes away, and a huge shopping complex as well. If you're going to Nashville, this is a good place to rest for the night.
We stayed here while attending a conference at the Opryland Resort. We were please with the room. It was clean and spacious. The lobby was lovely, and the breakfast served was more than adequate. The fitness center leaves a lot to be desired, but for the price in this area, it was fine. The pool was nicely kept. The staff were pleasant, and parking was plentiful. All in all, a good experience.
To far out side the center of Nashville. Shuttle buses were late. Front desk staff lacked personality and helpfulness. If you just want a room and do not need direction or suggestions from the front desk than I guess you wont be disappointed.
Hotel needs updating, needs a bit of a deep cleaning, certain areas of the room were obviously missed but you do get a great night of sleep, the mattresses are so comfortable; appropriately priced, minutes from Opryland, but a bit far from downtown, we should of done our research.
Check in was quick and easy, staff were friendly, and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We needed something to eat, and they suggested Logans Roadhouse, a 2 minute walk away. Parking was free, and the car park had ample spaces. We used the Shuttle to take us to the Grand Ole Opry and into Nasville. I thought it was well priced at $10 per person, especially to get into Nashville and back. Pick up from Nashville was every half past the hour, until 1.30am. Breakfast was ok. Unless you want to stay in Nashville and pay for car parking, this is a great hotel for dropping your bags, and sightseeing.
We stayed two nights on a tour of the US.A modern tower block. Rooms comfortable and well equipped, quiet and the hotel was well placed. On arrival we were put in a room on the first floor above the breakfast room. However work was being carried out to change the breakfast room, with hammering, drilling, which reverberated through our room. To be fair when I complained they moved us immediately, but it is a faff when we had started to unpack, the work had been on for some time, and staff should have avoided use of that room. The same work limited the breakfast rooms use to some extent, albeit the breakfast itself was good, the room simply crowded. There was a paid shuttle to downtown Nashville,which was excellent. Across the road is a Logans Roadhouse, serving decent food and drink, part of a chain but good.
Stayed for the weekend…very quiet and clean. This is a nice, but no fuss hotel. We've stayed at the Gaylord where check-in takes 30-60 min and your charged a ridiculous parking rate each day. We were able to check in here in about 2 minutes and parking was free. Good location with easy access to downtown, the Grand Ol Opry, etc. I'd definitely stay here again!
While this hotel has obviously undergone some renovations to add important accents such as ample USB ports and outlets, but the property its self is very dark and depressing. The shower had excellent water pressure, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and considering that its really in the middle of nowhere, its quite noisy, and I haven't been able to get a good nights sleep in the 3 nights i'm here.
Very clean, friendly environment and staff. It was close enough to get a shuttle which I can't say enough good things about. Breakfast was good but most of the guests were very rude, that's not the fault of the motel.
We consider this a very loverly hotel to stay and relax, the staff are excellent and nothing was a burden to them, always helpful.it was close to the Grand Old Oprey to which we enjoyed very much, it was very good to get a shuttle to go to Nashville, the price was very reasonable, been from door to door made it a plus.
The hotel was clean and the front desk was easy to check-in with. After check-in the front desk was only semi-helpful and did not pay much attention to us. The vending machines were all broken and the lock to our room was broken so it would not let us in our room 50% of the time. Definitely over priced for what it is but being only a 5 minute drive from the Grand Ole Opry was wonderful.
We stayed at this hotel for four nights back in September. We would have rated the hotel a strong 4, with one exception. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was great, above-average. There were three tour buses there during our stay. Easily 75 to 90 (or more!) people passed through and had breakfast. The lady working in the food area did a great job keeping the food well stocked. She was pleasant and friendly. Now to the negative: On the last night of our stay, a large part of the parking lot was roped off due to re-paving. We were not sure where to park since only a handicap parking spot was available. We had the misfortune of having to ask the front desk employee (who said his name was Robert) where we should park. This man was extremely rude, unprofessional and should not be working with people in any capacity. He had negative comments about the owner of the hotel and is a poor representative of the hotel/Best Western. Our daughter is a student at TSU and we visit Nashville several times a year. We won't stay here again!!
The rooms are clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We have stayed here all three times we have been to Nashville and will come back to it again. It is convenient to Opryland and Opry Mills and there are some wonderful bars/honky tonks near here if you have exhausted all the bars downtown! It's about a 15 minute ride to downtown Nashville.
All was good for our stay. Even though it was October, pool was open due to weather being hot still. Staff was very nice. Rooms met our needs. There were plenty of restaurants in the area. Very convenient to Opry Mills Mall and Opryland Hotel.
We were very lucky here in that due to a problem they had with another booking, we were upgraded to a VIP suite which was lovely. I haven't reflected that however in my rating of the property because that wouldn't have been a true reflection. The hotel is quite difficult to find mainly because it doesn't have it's name on it. There is a relatively small sign at the entrance to the car park which is about 100 yards off the main road up a small track but not easy to spot. The hotel is clean and the breakfast was good although the breakfast room was undergoing refurbishment whilst we were there. There was no bar or restaurant facilities however. There is a shuttle bus service to the Opry and downtown Nashville at $5 and $10 respectively which was well worth it.
Would stay there again when visiting. Stayed there 2 weekends in a row while passing through. Definitely on the return list. Great breakfast menu and shuttle to both Grand Ole' Opry and downtown Nashville without even moving your car. Logan's Steak House is within walking distance and has a large variety of meals and desserts.
Went on Labor Day and check in was 3:00. Got there at 2:40 and was told 30 minutes which was OK. Checked back at 3:10 and had to wait another 30 minutes because rooms were not ready. Was very upset. There was a couple and another woman also waiting on rooms. Check in was awful Enjoyed room and breakfast.
This hotel is located just off the Briley Parkway & the Gaylord Plaza. Several good place close by for dining & lots of entertainment venues. Also the shopping mall is located very close by. They do offer a shuttle service to downtown for more options. The hotel itself is very clean & well taken care of. The breakfast is organized & well stocked. The fitness center has enough work out machines, the room also has AC & TV. The pool is located outside, very clean & private enough to wear a thong or g-string style suit. Very nice!!!
This is a very nice hotel, large rooms, nice staff, good breakfast. Rates are higher, but then everything is around the Grand Ole Opry. The place looks like it was recently remolded. We had a king bed, with a sofa sleeper, Great water pressure, and very quiet.
We stayed 2 nights here. We picked this location as it was close to the grand ol opry and shopping. The hotel picked us up for $15 each but I think I would try Uber as I'm guessing it would be cheaper. To go downtown you can book a shuttle at the front desk for $10 round trip it was easy to use and they run quite late. We loved this place. It was laid back, staff was nice (although found we had to ask about breakfast in am, shuttle, etc.). We highly recommend heading to John As for a bite or a beer. It's a 5-10 min walk and had great music when we were there.
Had a great stay. Will stay there when I visit Nashville.. The shuttle picked us up at door and took us where we needed to go. Also walked to putt putt golf, cracker barrel and Logans. Would definitely refer others to this hotel.
We enjoyed the motel and continental breakfast. It was very easy to get places from this motel. The front view of the motel was much to be desired because there was something that had been torn down and it looks like it hasn't been touched for quite some time. I am sure the motel does not own that land but it is a eye sore. The employees were friendly!
I stayed in Best Western suites near Opryland. It is a good hotel with reasonable pricing. Complementary breakfast was good. It has facility for free airport pick up and drop. rooms are equipped with microwave.
I booked this hotel for the 306th Field Hospital group that has a yearly reunion in different locations. The group sales department, especially Khylam and Terra, were great to work with. There was also a young man that worked the evening shift and he was very patient in dealing with the group's questions.
We stayed here two nights and was pretty happy with it. The front desk people couple of been a little friendlier. Its clean and comes with a pretty good breakfast. The location is pretty close to downtown but also far enough away tucked in a corner. It's by some good restaurants. I would stay here again.
Basically average BW with typical breakfast. It was quiet when we were there. Breakfast room being refurbished. I wouldn't say it's walking distance to the Opry unless there is a different way to walking down a very busy highway. The hotel charges around $15 for using their shuttle bus which seems excessive. Fast food restaurants in walking distance. Probably would not stay again unless shuttle bus was free.
Hotel is undergoing some renovation but it's not affecting the cleanliness of the place. Rooms are really nice & well maintained giving you everything you need. Staff all very nice & helpful. If I ever get back to the States I will definitely stay here again
Yes the clerk behind the desk were great! The hotel was a little run down on the inside. Needing some updating but the help received from a gentlemen there made up for this. The hotel was half painted on the outside and looked like it was never completed.
The room was very nice and comfortable. The hotel was not very well advertised, a little hard to find (no signs!). The Wi-Fi was very slow and had issues connecting. Made it pretty difficult to make our travel arrangements downtown. The continental breakfast was mediocre. Overall, the staff was nice and friendly. Rooms were pretty clean and tidy.
We stayed here again this visit to the Opry, this time in room 300. Lobby updates, newer hall Carpet, room updates and exterior face lift make this seem like a nearly new hotel. Breakfast seating improvement in process will fix the lack of seating capacity of the past. Breakfast was varied, plentiful and tasty for included hotel fare. Most Desk staff was competent and helpful if not overly cheery and welcoming. A nice cheery hello each time a guest enters or an enjoy your day when a guest leaves makes an average hotel feel higher end. Although Terra was great! Housekeeping either didn't understand English or just weren't cordial or both? Room 300 was nice, we kept the A/C set to 60 degrees all weekend to get the room temp bearable. Thankfully, the outside temp wasn't as hot as the week before or we would've been miserable. Now a few small negatives: Woke to hear water running from other rooms showering. I guess that's a common problem in some rooms of any hotel? There was a hotel van parked in the way in front of the hotel our entire stay. This hotel has very limited parking in the front of the hotel. If you're going to allow parking in that spot, park the hotel van out back and let a paying customer park there. Housekeeping left us with two partial rolls of toilet paper, one very short roll that quickly was empty and another half used roll. No extras in the room. Most hotels we've stayed with always leaves a full roll on at least one spool or on the counter. Only one trash can in room 300. Unhandy to need to walk to bathroom for every piece of trash. Most hotels have two or three per room. The hotel still isn't providing a small pad and pen or pencil in rooms for guests. First hotel/motel I've ever been in that didn't take advantage of this cheap advertising. TV comes on to weather channel every time and you have to run each channel up or down, you can't jump to a channel. At least this year the picture didn't pixel and freeze like it was streaming. Looked like two or three spit marks on window, never cleaned all weekend. A/C not cooling properly. This is not a $34.00 per night road side dive.... cost was about $175.00 per night with tax. It's a beautiful place now, but overall experience could be better.
Our stay at this hotel was ok. We checked in and then left right away for dinner and a night out at the Grand Ole Opry. By the time we got back it was about 11pm. When taking a shower we noticed it did not drain so there was about 5 inches of water still in the shower when done. We went down to the front desk to request a new room as we were very tired and just wanted to get to bed. Colin was very acommodating and found us a new room which we appreciated. It wasn't fun to change rooms around midnight but we were glad we did. The rest of our stay was fine.
Found this hotel after refusing to stay in different hotel nearby. What a gem. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Hotel is going through some renovation but will not effect your stay. Staff is very nice and attentive to your needs. Good rate for a one night stay. Breakfast area was the area under construction to make it larger. We were still able to enjoy a bite to eat before heading out for the day.
We were pleasantly surprised at this hotel, which is ideally situated for all activities in Opryland and easy access to Nashville centre. Our room on the 5th floor was spacious and comfortable with good, quiet air conditioning. The only negative point about the room, is that the curtains did not meet together and a our room faced east, we were woken early each morning by the bright sunshine ( not that I'm complaining about the sun). The breakfast is definitely the best that we have had in any Best Western or any other hotel of this type. Loads of choice, cereals,waffles,bacon ,sausages and the best scrambled eggs ! We would definitely stay here again if we return to Nashville.
Hotel is older and is not quite as up to date as some of the other hotels. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful but we did have to change rooms because of a problem with the toilet in the firs room,.
This hotel. Is approximately a mile from the opry. You can book a shuttle downtown,to the opry,or to the airport from the front desk an hour ahead. It has a free breakfast, wifi swimming pool. If arriving at the airport phone the hotel to have the hotel pick you up. There is a Logan's road house right off the driveway
We enjoyed our stay. We were here for 3 nights & didn't have any complaints about the room. It was clean & larger than expected. The front desk was very nice & helpful. It's located near the Gaylord Hotel & Opry Mills Mall which is always a must visit for us when in town. My only complaint was that they're building another hotel in front of this one & construction started early Monday morning. Other than that, it was great.
Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly. Outdoor pool was very well kept and clean. Rooms were large. Breakfast was ok not fantastic but good enough. Very conveniently located to the Grand Ole Opry and they offered shuttles to downtown Nashville. Perfect for a family vacation to Nashville. Price was reasonable.
Stayed here for 5 nights. Really nothing to complain about but nothing to exclaim about either. Front desk staff seemed either asleep or missing. Only once did someone greet me on my way in. I was so startled I jumped. Breakfast is provided and it also was just okay. Eggs and sausage and biscuits. Everyday. Room was well cleaned and spacious. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking. Near to Opry and all highways.
Stayed 2 nights at Best Western Suites. Purpose of the trip was for sight seeing so this was a perfect place to regroup. The rooms were very clean and the service displayed southern hospitality all the way. The breakfasts were very adequate and the dining attendant never let an item go empty. Easy access off the highway and located near various eateries for the evening meals. Thanks so much for a pleasant stay!
The hotel has been very recently upgraded. Our room was spacious and clean. The entire hotel was very clean, in fact, and housekeeping was prompt and paid attention to details. Breakfast was typical and decent, and included (whole) fresh fruit and yogurt. The front staff was VERY helpful in navigating the area and arranging shuttle service to downtown Nashville for guests heading to Broadway. This hotel is less than a mile from the Grand Ole Opry and across the road from the Opryland Hotel. The surrounding area is safe and decent but not "fancy"; there is a little run down strip of stores, a gas station/minimart, local restaurants (except for the McDonalds, which featured live music), a miniature golf course and go karts. Other hotels are also clustered there - a Marriot, Hyatt, etc. There is new construction going on, so I'm sure the area is about to be upgraded, too. The hotel sits right off the freeway (Briley Parkway) so getting anywhere in the Nashville area by car is easy. We enjoyed our stress and problem free stay here.
I was surprised to find out they have an outside service company who will pick you up and drive you to the Grand Old Opry. They will also drive you to downtown for a small charge. The room was very clean, plenty of towels. Comfortable bed. But was disappointed to learn the pool would not open till 10am
Although we drove to go into downtown Nashville, this Best Western was located in a great part of town, It only took a short time to get to downtown. Plus, it's very close to the Grand Ole Opry, restaurants, shopping and more.
Arrived at BW Suites for my wife's birthday and a night in Nashville. The desk clerk was nice and helpful. The hotel was pleasant enough. Nice smaller pool, overall very clean. The location could have been better. It's a little off the beaten path, and you have to drive anywhere except for a nearby Logan's Restaurant. There is a shuttle available to downtown for $10 round-trip, and the driver was awesome. Be aware, though, last pick up on Sundays is at 10:00 p.m. Hotel room was a bit dated, but spacious and comfortable. OK, now the major problem: the room smelled as if there was a sewage problem. Really funky. Once you were in the room for a few minutes, it wasn't as bad, but coming in and out, really obnoxious odor. We were there for the night, and were out a lot, so we didn't complain, though we honestly should have. I probably wouldn't stay here again, just due to the location, since some of the other hotels on the strip are nearer to small pub(s), restaurants, etc. that you could walk to and have a couple of brews. If you're driving, it's convenient to Opry Mills and Opryland. You CANNOT walk there, like other review(s) mentioned, lest you would be road kill and depart this earth with blisters on your feet.
After researching several hotels in the general area of the Grand Ole Opry, we chose this one. The room was very clean, neat and practical. The price was excellent. The location might be a little tricky to find, but once there you know you made the right choice. We will stay here again on our next trip to the area!
This motel was everything I expected. Within walking distance of Opryland. Room was clean. Jacuzzi was wonderful. The room was close to the pool, which was also very nice. Staff was very helpful on check-in and check-out.
Nashville offers so many fun activities. We appreciated the shuttle service to downtown. Downtown was busy.It was nice to see many police patrolling the downtown area. This hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet and felt safe. We will be back!
The rooms and halls were mostly clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The fridge did not work in the first room, and it took 3 days to fix the safe. Not all of the cleaning staff understood English. Something was missing every day. No problem getting whatever was missing from the front desk. Breakfast was OK. The person was overwhelmed trying to keep up by herself, could have used help. Not many choices, but OK.
Very spacious rooms, cleasnd and complete with all you might need during your stay. Very silent, comfortable, excellent breakfast . Only dissappointment is wifi that works unproperly and it is quite slow. Would stay there again and again.
Great large rooms , yummy fresh cooked hot breakfast with lots of variety, close Opryland and Large mall,,,, not too far off the freeway but not too close either... self laundry facilities great for families

Needs more cleaning & the wifi was terrible. Trying to book tickets for events & had to use my data plan because the wifi was so slow. Complained about sinks not draining but never got any assistance. Stayed 3 nights. Would not stay here again.
Room was very clean, maid service was good. Was close to the Grand Ole Opry and the General Jackson Showboat. There was a shuttle to take you downtown, which we used 2 days. Never had a problem, they were always on time. There was a $10 fee (round trip) for the service. The internet was good. They only negative thing about this hotel (and other BW's that I've stayed at) is that they have very small pillows. They give you 4 pillows to a bed, but they are half the size of a regular pillow.
Great room, very clean and comfortable, quiet and a good shower. Staff were friendly in reception and effective. Best part was its closeness to the Opry. The only improvement would be to bring the standard of the breakfast up to BW standards. Otherwise, a good place to stay
Not the BEST Best Western I have stayed at, but for the price in the area, it is a good deal. Not an over friendly staff, they seem to see so many people that you're just anoter number for the day. As in most Hotels, the sink was very slow to drain. I wish they could learn to check this routinely. The bed wasn't absolutely terrible, but it was lumpy and the pillows were pretty flat. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was nothing special, but certainly adequate. The breakfast area is another story......very, very, small for the amount of people that are served there daily.
Very close to Grand Ole Opry, Opry Mills Mall, General Jackson Showboat, and Wax Museum. Very nice accommodations and outside swimming pool which was not freezing cold! May use their shuttle for your whole stay for just $15 anywhere you want to go as many times as you want.
I have to say I really enjoyed my stay even if it was short. Everything was nice and clean and I loved all the dark wood tables and decor at the entrance. The color scheme made it feel just like home and the rooms have somewhat of a living room area where a couch and table are located. Definitely would stay again.
Traveled to Nashville for a conference and stayed at the Best Western Suites because it was cheaper than the other hotels in the area. It was about 5 minutes from Gaylord Opryland, so it was a very convenient location since we had a car. The room was spacious and the free breakfast was a great addition. The bed was pretty comfortable, but the pillows were too fluffy for my liking. The shower had some of the best pressure I've ever felt in a hotel, but the water was hard so you didn't really feel clean after showering. The AC in the room didn't work too great and our room was often humid and a little too hot (not great when it's in the 90s outside). Our biggest problem while we were here was that our bathroom always smelled like sewage. I don't know what was going on, but it wasn't pleasant. And the bathrooms don't even have a fan that you can turn on to get rid of the smell. Thankfully I brought some Scentsy with me to cover it up. Overall it was okay, but would probably look at a different hotel if we stayed in Nashville again.
This was cheaper than the hotels in downtown and they did have a 10 dollar two-way shuttle (mind you, it's not really 10 dollars cause you are expected to tip the driver so you might want to take a cab depending on how big party you are) so you are able to go get dinner there. The return trip was a bit of a hassle with a lot of people waiting for the shuttle for a long time but finally the cars came. The hotel is pretty basic with clean big rooms.
Clean, modern, up to date, friendly staff. The rooms were quiet, a/c worked well. Pleasantly surprised all around. Stayed with young kids, didn't get to try the pool but looked nice. Very close to the Opry, shopping, and 15 minutes from downtown. No complaints, great stay!
Very disappointed in design of hotel as eating area was locked. We had a reunion with 30 people in hotel and wanted to visit. One eve we had h'or d'oerves and another we had pizza prior to Grand Ole Opry concert. there was very little area in lobby to sit and they wanted to charge $30 to let us sit in the eating area. I thought this was ridiculous and was disappointed! The lobby was very sterile in appearance.
We stayed 4 nights in the best western near opryland. Check in was quick and staff was nice. We were in a handicap room with a king bed. I asked if they had anyother king bed non handicapped rooms and they were out. The room was clean and it had plenty of room. The first problem was that the shower leaked something awful. It was a handicapped shower with no lip around the bottom so the shower heads (there was a stationary one and a hand use one) both pointed towards the shower curtain. The curtain didn't reach the floor and a lot of water had to be mopped up with a towel no matter what you did. The second thing was that the blackout curtains don't close all the way. It leaves about a foot gap between them. We were on the first level and anyone could look in through the sheer curtain that did close. I draped the footer off the bed over it and it closed the gap. The staff knows about these issues and didn't seem too concerned about fixing them. The curtain problem got a response of "everybody says that, it's the design of them". The tv remote is slow and unresponsive at times. Last thing was that the doors on the sides that say they close for your safety at 8pm and guests must have a key or go through the lobby didn't work. We never had to use a key to get in. Sometimes coming home after midnight. The shuttle runs from 8am-8pm at the top of every hour by request. The times didn't work for us. The room did have a microwave, mini fridge, and keurig coffee maker. Those were nice touches and worked great. Breakfast was nice with a good choice of hot and cold items. This isn't a negative review but I would say that the hotel was average.
So it was a good, clean hotel. Everything worked properly. It is very close to the Grand Ole Opry. The breakfast was okay, nothing special. The negatives are there is no sign on the building, which makes it difficult to find the first time, and the rocks that overhang the curbing into the street. I caught one of those and messed up my cars door. They are supposed to keep you off the grass, but they are low, hard to see behind the shrubbery, and stick out into the road.
This is a nice clean hotel. The room was comfortable although I wish they had queen beds instead of full. The pool was clean and warm. The breakfast was ok - missed my peanut butter and flavored coffee creamers the other hotels offer. Biggest concern was that their extra doors were not locked at night. Typically hotels lock their non- lobby doors but we found theirs unlocked late both nights we stayed.
The staff was friendly when we checked it....I had two rooms one was for my grandson who is stationed at Fort Campbell and his very pregnant wife and 22 month old and one for me. They are called suites because there were two beds and a couch which was very spacious. The rooms averaged about $100 less than the Opryland Hotel for weekends. The ac wasn't on when we arrived... I had made reservations and we were on the same 5 th floor. We grabbed a bite to eat and went to bed. The next morning before we went down to a very good included in price breakfast buffet the family said the Ac leaked all over the floor and the room smelled musty and moldy. In my experience as a real estate agent that meant it had leaked before. Anyway, I explained to the lady at the front desk that we needed to move ASAP as this was not good for the family. They did not have a clean room so I said we would eat and go to Centennial Park and be back for the baby's nap. When we arrived back at 11 Mark was on duty and only one on the 1st floor was available and the thought of trucking all the baby gear did not appeal to us. I said why was one not cleaned on the 5 th floor. He said he didn't know and acted like he didn't know anything about the problem. I said I will write this lack of communication and helpfulness on Trip Advisor. He said I should and gave me his managers card. I said are there people cleaning the 5 th floor now and he said yes and I said I want a room ready. I went upstairs and the cleaning people had heard from him and started cleaning the room next door. When the room was ready Mark called and brought up keys not offering to help move them. So while the location, food and rooms were nice it was spoiled by the way the front desk handled a problem and I wonder if the ac was fixed or the rug was just dried waiting for the next person because maintenance wasn't called while we were gone that morning to check on the problem. I received a survey when I came home and reiterated much of the above. I never heard from anyone so decided to post so if someone else has this problem they will know Best Western has already received the complaint . There will always be problems but not to send maintenance up to fix it and not to have a room ready is on the customer service of the hotel. We will visit Nashville again. Very disappointed in Best Western suites near Opryland. One last mention..I called to make these reservations . The price quoted me was for Friday nite. It went up $40 for Saturday night each reservation. Parking free , amenities free including nice breakfast choices including oatmeal ,bacon ,eggs ,yogurt, etc. did not use pool . Free internet which was slow.
This place is outside of Nashville but close to the Grand Ole Opry. As a matter of fact, we spent 2 days in this area before even going to Nashville proper. There is a very convenient shuttle that goes to the City. The hotel was just what we needed. The only problem we had was that housekeeping had not made up the room when we returned at 10 pm. The front desk quickly sent up towels. Our room keys did not work on a number of occasions, so we did spend a bit of time at the front desk.
Staff was very friendly, but twice during my 5 night stay housekeeping either skipped or did not complete the room cleaning. The bathroom had a foul odor throughout the stay- I regret not changing rooms. The King room was nicely appointed. There are many hotels in this area and I think they need to step it up a couple of notches to stand out among the crowd.
Excellent and convenient location to most attractions near Opryland and downtown. The shuttle service is very convenient, especially if going downtown but be aware of return schedules - can be somewhat misleading. Overall an great stay even though the internet was slow and somewhat spotty.
Room was clean, bed and other Furinature was comfortable and newer. Despite hotel being 97% capacity it was quite would have never known there were so many people there. All employees were helpful and friendly. Highly recommend using a shuttle service if going into downtown Nashville
The place is very nice. The front desk if very friendly. Had a few questions and they were able to help out about the area. Very comfortable room and bed. It was a quite location with no heavy traffic sounds. Only one thing I saw was there was not a back door for the back parking lot. had to walk to the north side of the building or the very front. Mostly handicap park was in the front. Other than that it was very nice.
This hotel was clean and comfortable, with a friendly staff. We've been road tripping for about a month now and I have to say by far and away the absolute best shower I've had. Great for the price. I would stay here again. Unfortunately we had to check out and go to another hotel because we decided to stay longer but they were sold out. Breakfast is great too!
We travel fairly often and stayed in a lot of hotels. This is the most strange experience we have ever had (in a bad way). We pre-paid three nights' stay. After the first night, we went out to tour the city. When we came back in the evening, we realized all the stuff we left in the closet, the dresser drawer and the fridge were missing. We called the front desk and were told that the house keeping staff assumed we left without checking out since he/she did not see any suitcase in the room. So he/she throw everything in the closet, the dresser drawer and the fridge away! Later the house keeping supervisor found the bag we left in the room. However t hat person did not make any effort to retrieve our staff nor did he/she left any note to let us know what happened. The hotel refused to apologize. Saying that it is their standard procedure to throw customers' things away with the assumption that if someone did not leave a suitcase in the room, that person must have left without checking out with the front desk. This is the strangest thing and I sincerely hope the hotel only said so to avoid admitting their wrong-doing and apologizing. Otherwise I worry for anyone who travels without suitcases. We had to manage the remaining of the trip with missing supplies. We could some sort understand the mistake. After all, everyone can make mistakes. But to deny the mistake and refuse to do anything to make up, even refuse to apologize is not acceptable.
We stayed for one night on our way home from vacation. Check-in was seem less and we were on our way to dinner. We were able to walk to several places very close by. We wanted to stretch our legs after sitting in a car all day. Best Western is also close to a mini-golf and go-cart area. Our room was a suite with a nice sitting area. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast began at 6:30 which is nice for early travelers like us. It is a full breakfast with bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, plus the usual breads, fruit, yogurt, etc. Rooms are not cheap anywhere in Nashville. Hotel has a pool and workout area as well as a room with computers. There was also a shuttle outside but not sure the details on its use. We would definitely stay here again. My only complaint was that we got hot sleeping.
Stayed only one night but pleasantly surprised at the quality. Clean, spacious, comfortable room. Unfortunately not located close to downtown, where all the action seems to be. One of the best features of the hotel was a shuttle provided to the downtown area. There was a small fee but it was well worth it.
We just needed a place to sleep on our road trip move. We had a lot of stuff in our cars so we were initially worried, but the hotel is in what's like a hotel oasis in opryland, so we felt pretty safe with our cars there. The rooms were clean and breakfast was pretty good. No complaints.
This hotel's exterior hides a much better interior. Do not let the exterior put you off. I haven't been in a hotel this quiet since Las Vegas. . .no noise whatsoever. Great beds and I slept better than I ever do in a hotel. Breakfast was as good as a hotel breakfast can be. They have hot oatmeal which is wonderful by me.
When we arrived we checked our room to see if it was clean and for signs of bed bugs. We didn't find bed bugs but we did find a broken up lady Beatle and French fries in the bedding. Because of this they gave us another room. This one was very, VERY dusty. The furniture was covered in it and the bathroom vent was caked in it like it hadn't been cleaned in a year or more. At least the linens, air conditioner and floors were clean. We took the second room because we were tired but only on the word from the housekeeping staff that the dust in the bathroom would be cleaned up. We asked for every one of the 3 days we stayed to have the vent cleaned and it never was. There were no towels at the pool. When we asked for some the person at the front desk was so busy on his cell phone that he was annoyed by us and made us wait until he was finished to get us 2 towels when there were 3 of us. If their front desk is too busy scheduling shuttles to take care of the guests that are already in the hotel maybe they need to staff better. Not a big fan of this hotel but the location and price were nice. The hot breakfast was a nice touch and the beds were comfortable. If you don't mind having to repeatedly ask for the basic things you need in a stay this is the hotel for you.

The room was very nice. They have a good breakfast and offer shuttle service to the Grand Ole Opry and downtown. The only problem we had was getting the room cleaned. Had to go find the housekeeping staff and ask them to clean it.
On our way back from the gulf we stayed at the Best Western near Opryland Hotel. Check in was a breeze, had 1st floor room with couch and plenty of room to relax in. Wife wanted to take the shower head home with us, NOT.
This hotel was located exactly where we wanted to be. Close to downtown, the highway, and within walking distance to the Grand Ole Opry and the Gaylord. We were doing a whirlwind tour of Nashville during our 20hr overnight stop. Personally, I think all the hotels in Nashville are way overpriced, but this was the cheapest one that met all my criteria: decent reviews, free parking, free breakfast, non-smoking(yes, some hotels still don't have them), and close to all the things I listed above. It was a clean and spacious room. The bed was comfortable , the air conditioning worked well and the hotel was quiet.There was toilet paper in the toilet that I had to flush upon entering my room, but the toilet didn't look as if it had been used. I thought that was weird and mentioned it to the front desk upon leaving. The staff was friendly and the breakfast average. They need a new cereal dispenser. Theirs had a knob that you crank, but it crushed most of your cereal on its way down to your bowl. Would I stay here again?Probably. For the short amount of time we spent in Nashville, this hotel did the job.
This hotel was easy to locate in Nashville. It has free parking and free wifi. The hotel desk clerks were very helpful with suggestions of places to visit in the city. The room was comfortable and had a mini-fridge and a microwave in the room.
Great location! Close to downtown Nashville and practically next door to the Grand Ole Opry. My room was large, modern and clean. The complimentary breakfast was good. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The staff was great - very polite and helpful. Overall, a great choice for this area.
There was so much value at this site! Free breakfast, $15 shuttle all week, clean and comfortable! The staff always went above and beyond! I also found it really enjoyable to walk to the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center and it only took 25 minutes. I really enjoyed my stay!
The room was comfortable and large. The complimentary breakfast was above average. Staff friendly. My complaint is I left something behind in my room when I checked out. I called back whenI realized my error but it was not found. The location was very convenient.
Newly remodeled property, very nice decor. Complimentary breakfast one of the better ones I have had. Food quality was good. Very Clean hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. Indoor access to rooms; 5 floors with elevator. Nice clean pool. Spacious room with couch and desk, micro and mini fridge; Comfy bed, Highly recommend to anyone wanting to be close to Opryland Resort and OpryMills Mall but wants a more reasonably priced hotel. Could walk to both - although it is a bit of a walk. If you want to visit Opryland Resort, park in Mall parking lot at far edge of lot (on movie theater end) and use the walkway to the Resort. Resort charges $24 to park on their lot whether you are a guest there or just visiting. It is beautiful inside - must see.
Room was much better than we even expected. We called to inquire about amenities, and the clerk said they were booked full for the evening; we hung up and booked a room through TripAdvisor no problem, showed up at the hotel 15 minutes later.
Clean basic room. Comfortable beds. Bathroom small and amenities sparse. Fair size room with couch and desk. Hotel needs a little update in carpet, etc. Better than average breakfast including waffles and eggs. Tip: Helpful one time charge of $15pp transportation option to and from downtown,/Opryland,/ Grand Ole Opry/Mall etc at the top of the hour for the duration of your stay. Close to Opry Hotel & Convention Ctr. No charge for parking. Note: There is construction on a lot in front of Hotel so be aware that it starts early and lasts throughout the day. Also, this hotel has wheelchair accessible harness and lift equipment at their pool so everyone can enjoy their pool.
The hotel is lovely, modern, with excellent rooms and large comfortable beds. If you are going to a concert at the Ole Opry - brilliant, as it has a shuttle service to and from. The service was also supposed to go downtown but we ended up going to the Opry house and getting a taxi from there. $35 dollars one way and 15 minutes later we were downtown! If you want the nightlife it is worth paying downtown prices. You have to walk 10/15 minutes before you can find a bar or a restaurant. The hotel really is very nice and lots of people like the location, just not for us. Decide which location is for you, out of noisy Nashville then it's great, but if you want to party stay downtown.
Great Hotel,nice and clean. Beds nice and comfortable. Had a nice pool. Only couple miles from Grand Ole Oprey. Also near a shopping mall. Great bars with great music near by. Easy on and off from major highway. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Very clean hotel and room had a nice sitting area that had a desk and couch. Service was excellent and breakfast was very good. We stayed 3 days and left for Memphis. We had a bad experience with another hotel and couldn't wait to go back to Best Western. We stayed another 3 days and didn't want to leave. It was very comfortable and the day clerk was fantastic. Would recommend to everyone going to Nashville. Thank you Best Western for a wonderful time.
We booked a room at this hotel requesting two queen beds and a pull out couch. Upon arrival we were told the pullout couch doesn't really pull out. It's been locked. My question is why is this advertised as a pull out. There was no additional bedding supplied until requested would definitely not drY here again
We stayed 6/2-6/4, thurs, fri & Saturday. It was pretty quiet. Not many kids, no partier issues. No outside noise. The breakfast was pretty good, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, hot coffee, oatmeal, little muffins and bread goods. The dining area was clean. The room and bathroom were clean with your normal dust in the corner type stuff. The pool and pool area was clean. The staff was very nice. Broadway is about 20-45 minutes away depending on traffic.
The hotel was clean and quiet (even our room across from the laundry room was quiet). They have a shuttle arrangement that takes you to downtown Nashville and brings you back to the hotel for a very modest price. It is about a mile from Opryland so it's an easy drive there. The day desk clerk is exceptional.
We needed a quick and easy place to stay and found this hotel with decent reviews. Cannot complain at all. Nice big room at a good price and it was clean. The one thing was that it certainly is close to the Grand Ole Opry. You're a little ways from downtown but hotels are going to be very expensive the closer you get to downtown. We're thinking of coming back for a long weekend with some friends and we'll probably stay here again. Breakfast was typical with eggs, cereal, waffles, and on and on. We didn't get a chance to try the pool but we checked it out and it looks nice.
Stayed here for a eight nights. The hotel, while lacking in curb appeal, was very nice. The rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. The pool was very clean. All contact with staff was pleasant. The breakfast had a nice variety of items including fresh fruit. Check in and check out went smoothly. No complaints at all. Will definitely stay here again. If you stay here, you will need a car. I knew the location and planned for that. It's not downtown.
The suite was very nice and well equipped. Unfortunately no one told us about the shuttle that would take you downtown for $10 a day Before we found out about it on our own, we paid $36!!! to park downtown. The shuttle is a great asset, they should tell people about it!!! Our morning breakfast was a little dicey due to apparent no show by the kitchen staff. The desk staff were trying to fill in but it was over a 1/2 hour wait for the coffee machine to be filled, the waffle machine and juice machines also emptied out quickly. The food that was put out ran out very quickly as well. there were a lot of grumpy visitors waiting for the breakfast buffet that was promised.
This was one of our better hotels we stayed in during a recent tour of KY and TN. The only drawback was we thought we were going to be near the Grand Ole Opry...NOT! This hotel is near the NEW Opry...the larger facility. The Grand Ole Opry and downtown Nashville are about 20 minutes away...with no traffic. However, that said, the staff was excellent and helpful. The breakfast was marginal.
This hotel is right across the street from Opryland and there Grand Old Opry. There are tons of restaurants almost within walking distance. The room was clean, the staff was pleasant and the experience was fine.
Went for a girls night out and show. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable and the shuttle to downtown was nice to have. The drop of place for the shuttle at 5th and Commerce was not the best but not a long walk to the main nightlight.
We stayed here 2 night and were very pleased. The rooms were spacious clean and very comfortable. The fitness room was very good as was the pool area. The complimentary breakfast was good and ample. The location was good and quiet but close to all the sites. I would highly recommend this hotel, one of the better Best Western hotels we have stayed at.
My wife and visited Nashville for 3 nights and stayed at the Best Western Suites near Opryland. The hotel was nice and clean. Offered free breakfast which consisted of eggs bacon, biscuits, waffles (make your own) and pastry items. The only problem we had was our room key didn't work on three different occasions and we had to get new keys. The hotel was close to The grand Ole opry and Gaylord Opryland resort. Overall great stay and I would stay there again.
We went thru 2 rooms, the air conditioning does not work properly. it does not even blow cool air, more like a fan. we had to leave our door open until 2 am, just to try to cool off room. both rooms were hot, just glad that it was a cool and cloudy weekend or it would of been unbearable !!! Never again at this hotel !
Very nice, updated hotel. Room was clean. Very quiet. Had stayed at two other hotels in close proximity on previous trips. This Best Western will be the place we stay when we visit Nashville again. Complimentary breakfast. Staff very helpful.
The location, near Opryland and Grand Ole Opry, is perfect. The room and beds are comfortable and clean. What really makes this hotel though, is the friendly staff. We spent 5 nights there and would definitely return again. It is also very convenient to downtown Nashville with a $10 per person round trip shuttle.
The hotel was so modern and clean I wasn't sure if it was a best western. The staff were very friendly, rooms were big and impeccably clean. Beds were comfortable and linen was fresh. Right across from Opryland and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Great job to the front desk very friendly.
We spent three nights and it was great the staff was very helpful and went out of there way to help us. Would recommend this place to everyone. Walking distance to the grand old opry and other attractions.
All your staff was extremely professional and helpful. The rooms were clean, the internet was fast and efficient. Their Assistant General Manager was very skilled on local restaurants and other areas of Nashville.
We spent 5 nights in this hotel and overall found it to be really good. On reception is a guy called Khylam, if you need anything head for him. On entering our room there was a smell, we told him and he was up smelling it and getting a re clean within minutes. Anything we asked him he knew , directions, ideas and to have someone like him on your desk should be mandatory as travellers want it , they need it and it makes all the difference. So big props to him and hope the management read this and knowledge it. The room was large with all you need in it to include fridge, coffee maker, safe , hairdryer on and on. Pool was clean and towels are provided. Overall the hotel was spotless and well kept. Now !! The breakfast ?? not so good and again staff, the singing assistant. Sounds nice but .... Not when she has head set on and can't hear herself by the way this means she can't hear the guests either ? She is also obviously angry her body language and overall presence around guests was intimidating. She marched around obviously not happy. The opening line to us 2nd day was " don't blame me for the oatmeal I didn't make it" I asked where the packets where she just said " there is none it is new company idea" the oatmeal was horrid. The overall breakfast needs a rethink including the size of the room. This is important as setting a high standard everywhere else shows this up. The location is excellent .
We stayed hear for four nights in a really big suite. The furnishings in the suite were tasteful, comfortable and looked in new condition. Breakfast was included and was of good quality and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. There is a Logan's Roadhouse restaurant, Bob Evans restaurant, Macdonalds and a garage supermarket all within walking distance. It is about fifteen minutes by shuttle or taxi to downtown Music City and about five minutes from The Grand Ole Opry. There is an independent shuttle which cost $5 per person each way to downtown and shuttle that costs $15 per person for the duration of your stay and will take you to the airport and Gaylord Opryland shopping area. This hotel did not have a bar but the quality of the rooms was excellent especially for the price. We would definitely stay here again.
Clean, quiet, friendly. Absolutely NO complaints. Take advantage of the shuttle. $10 round trip - avoid the Nashville driving experience at any cost! Takes you downtown and picks up every hour on the hour. The hotel itself -immaculate, no hairs, no bugs. Good pillows, bedding and mattress. Cable service was quite adequate. No need to be a hotel snob and spend more $$ than this hotel charges. You will not be disappointed. We are not country and western fans or southerners. NY Yankees down for the Vanderbilt graduation and quite impressed with the service and quality presented at this Best Western. Excellent hospitality provided.
Only a short drive from all the commotion of downtown Nashville, is this gem of a hotel provides large clean rooms, comfortable beds and a morning breakfast. The staff was smiling, friendly and professional. Quick and easy access to our room was nice. Nice large bathrooms, with full amenities. (Ladies you will like that the hairdryer has a diffuser!)
This has always been a good place to stay for us. There is a downtown shuttle or you can use Uber. Good places to eat are close by. They are a little pricey but all of Nashville is getting out of range for normal people.
We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the area. While it was very close to the Grand Old Opry, if you are doing anything downtown it is a bit of a drive. Clean room and very friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect for a day of touring the area. Conveniently located off the highway.
I was skeptical of this hotel, but upon arrival, I realized that this wasn't the typical Best Western. There isn't a sign on the building itself, but there is one in the parking lot. The lobby and rooms have very nice updated decor. There's a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and safe in the rooms. We didn't get a chance to try the breakfast. Other than the small rip in the bed linen and stain on a pillow case (housekeeping issues), everything else was great! The rooms were very roomy and the distance to Oprymills, the Gaylord, other dining venues and easy interstate access, really can't be beat.
I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and updated the rooms were in this hotel. I don't usually stay at best westerns but this one had nicer rooms than the last Hilton I was at! Great place for a cheaper option to stay in Nashville for the weekend. It was a $25 cab ride for 3 people to downtown. About a 15 min drive. Well worth it to save money from staying right downtown
Great location right off the Briley Parkway close to Opry Mills mall and Opryland Hotel, and the Grand Ole Opry. Recently remodeled, within the past two years. The beauty is there are shuttles running downtown from this area that costs you $10, that gets you downtown, and will bring you back. Not bad. Good Breakfast, friendly staff. Will stay there again.
We arrived to the hotel in the late afternoon. The lobby was very clean and quiet, the lobby was almost a little too quiet I felt like I needed to whisper, there was no music nothing but silence. We got checked in, I don't remember the clerk being overly friendly. The room was the best part of our stay, for the cost it was nice and large and very clean. We had a king sized bed, a small kitchenette area with fridge, microwave, sink etc.., a couch, a desk/chair, a flat screen TV, lots of seating and lots of space. The bathroom was also clean and a decent size. We booked this hotel due to the hotels in the downtown area being way too expensive and overpriced. We stayed here to go see Chris Hardwick at the comedy club Zanies in Nashville, it was only 10 - 15 minute drive to Zanies from the hotel. We had a really good nights sleep and it wasn't too noisy. The only issue we had was that we were in one of the rooms at the end of the floor and for some reason people from other rooms kept sitting outside our room by the window and talking on their cell phones, it was annoying, but not enough for us to call and complain about it. There was a free breakfast the usual kind you get at most hotels. We were overall happy with our stay, thanks to the room, the cost and the location.
Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Staff was very friendly and the bed was pretty comfortable. They had a good breakfast and the waffles were delicious! The only somewhat negative thing is the size of the bathroom. It was a tight squeeze for two people to get ready in the morning but how much time do you really spend in there? I loved how close it is from the Grand Old Opry. I will definitely stay here again.
We mostly stay at a BW and always enjoy and appreciate the helpful staff. It was our "base" to stay that was reasonable and included a hot breakfast to get us going for the day to explore the area. The only thing I want to complain about is I reserved this room through BW (not the actual hotel) and needed a roll in shower as I use a walker and the lady I talked with said I would be able to have one. Upon arrival we were told the accessible roll in shower room was not available! We almost considered leaving and going to another hotel but I was offered a tub chair to use, which really didn't fit the tub well but I did end up using it. We had driven down from Canada and were tired and didn't have the time to change hotels - nor was there probably one availabe. I will make doubly sure the next time we reserve - maybe call the actual hotel.
Almost gave four stars as this place was a decent value for a pretty good location. Over all clean, with decent sized rooms and all the basic amenities. Nothing to knock your socks off, but we didn't want to pay for all of that anyways... Breakfast wasn't the worse I have seen, the did have eggs a breakfast meat and waffles. aside from that is was very basic. Stale bread items, canned fruit cocktail. They did have fresh bananas, apples and such. Not horrible, but again there was nothing special about it. Small area without a tv made breakfast cramped and lends the feeling they don't really want you in there Service was decent... apparently the pillows suck in every room as when we requested more (because they were small) the desk clerk was almost indignant. Overheard the breakfast lady get mildly pissed at a guest looking for more eggs. Other than that questions were answered, requests fulfilled. Just don't expect bubbly enthusiastic people. Vending machines were very limited in selection from snacks to other products like advil or shave cream. Overall, would stay again. If your going to spend a lot of time downtown, you may want to stay there as shuttles and cab fees add up quick!
Overall stay above average and staff was very helpful. Staff was able answer all our questions about the area and attractions we were interested in seeing, Hotel was a short drive from Opryland and other venues we wanted to visit.
First time in Nashville, so we weren't sure where to stay. We got an excellent rate through Tripadvisor. The hotel was nice, clean, and comfortable but so far away from most things were wanted to see. Surrounding the hotel are chain restaurants and more hotels. No cocktails at this one. Nothing negative to say about the hotel itself, just hope you have a car or lots of cab fare:)
We had stayed in this hotel a few years ago and it needed a remodel. We stayed this April with a fantastic stay!!! The hotel rooms has been revamped with new carpet, new mattresses, and new furniture. The rooms even have a Keurig coffee machine and the coffee was wonderful!!! We will recommend this hotel to others and will definitely stay here on future visits!!!
A few things needed to be upgraded, the pool wasn't working, but it looked like they were trying to upgrade and fix it up, other than that, the people were friendly, and helpful, I'd stay here again.so close to The Grand Ole Opry, the mall, and many eateries.There breakfast was good, the rooms were clean,
This was an average experience for us. We didn't like that we couldn't turn the TV volume up past a "factory setting" - as they hold us when we asked. Also the room was a bit humid. On the plus side it is very close to the Grand Ole Opry, the outlet/mall and they do arrange for transportation into Nashville if you don't want to drive and park in the city.
Stayed here for two nights. Drove to many of the local restaurants and bars available nearby. Some other hotels would've been better for walking to bars/restaurants. Close to Willie Nelson Museum, Dukes of Hazzard, and local shopping. Quiet location and rooms were very clean. Room was pretty good size. Various pillow types to choose from. Typical breakfast, nothing fancy. Price was great compared to others in the same area.
This Best Western Suites is conveniently located near the airport and the downtown area of Nashville. You are a quick car or Uber ride to anywhere in the city. The hotel also has a complimentary shuttle that runs from time-to-time is you prefer this method of travel. The rooms have always been clean and neat. Perhaps this is silly to some, but I hate hotel rooms that have funny smells. At this Best Western, I have never dealt with this haha. Rooms are spacious with modern utilities. Fantastic Continental breakfast offered daily. At the end of the day, you are absolutely getting more for your dollar when you are staying at this Best Western Suites. Like I said before, I will never book a hotel room anywhere else when I visit Nashville, TN.
The room was a mini suite, nicely furnished. Pillow top beds is a plus as is the oversized room safe which easily holds 2 laptops plus. My only complaints are that the TV was positioned to be watched from the bed only and there wasn't coffee available in the lobby as in other Best Western's that I've stayed at, however they do supply it in the room if you care to make it.
Enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly & helpful. Breakfast had all the general options and was constantly replenished. Bed and pillows comfortable. Free access to internet (even though slow) and printer. Quiet and in a location near Opryland in a cluster of hotels.
Had 2 nights stay at this hotel. It was clean and very comfortable, It's in a quiet location so not a lot of road noise disturbance except of the renovation that was going on around the hotel as they were updating the outside of the hotel, I didn't appreciate being woke up early on the Sunday morning. There were no tea bags in the room, when I asked reception he said everyone has coffee so don't put tea bags in the rooms I informed them that I don't drink coffee so there was no other option for me so he got me some tea bags from the breakfast area. The complimentary breakfast was slow at coming out, we ended up just having the cold option as many people waiting for hot food to come out. All in all a good stay was had here by all.
The hotel is convenient for Opry, Opryland and the Mall. There are several restaurants close by. Room was clean and comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was disappointing compared to other places we stayed at. The breakfast room was small and crowded and kept running out of some food. But an ok place to stay.
Stopped here for 2 nights and its in a good location to explore the Opryland area and also has a shuttle for $10 return into downtaown Nashville. The rooms were clean and comfy with all you needed. The staff were friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was nice
The AC did not work in our room and when we called downstairs we were met with excuses and disbelief. The night front desk person told us he "couldn't believe we would need the AC" and to "open a window". When we did all we heard all night was the air compressor on the first floor which was frozen and clogged. When we reported all of this the next morning on check out the front desk person told us she "was new and did not know how to handle to problem". She said she would follow up with us and did not---except to send me a receipt for our bill.
I booked this place last November for our trip in April, and was not disappointed.It was very spacious and a shuttle bus stops by every 30 mins and takes you Down Town, you can stay Down Town and join in the fun (which is non stop and in nearly every bar) listening to live music - mostly Country but some Rock and catch the Shuttle back as late as 1.30am (if you are young enough, 11pm did us. Price of the shuttle only $10 pp, why would anyone want to drive. Anyway - The Best Western, was really good, the staff were very helpful, the rooms were very clean and the breakfast was good, it was billed as a continental breakfast, but it was better than that. If we return to Nashville, we would certainly stay there again
We visit family in Nashville often and always try to stay in the area around Opry Mills, because of the close proximity to the mall and family-friendly restaurants. We had a good but not great experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and updated. The beds had below-average quality of mattresses and bedding. The free breakfast was disappointing, and the WiFi signal kept going up and down.
Nice facility, especially considering the price. Very convenient location to the mall, several restaurants, and the Grand Ole Opry. Downtown area is just a very short drive. Rooms were very clean, however, the pillows were flat and not comfortable. Breakfast was great, with several options to choose from. Would stay here again!
I felt like this was a decent hotel for the money and location. Its far enough from the highway to be quiet and the rooms were pretty nice. I was not impressed with the fitness center, which has some serious ventilation issues. When I told the front desk clerk they shrugged. Breakfast was fine. I guess my biggest complaint is not the hotel itself, which was fine, its the Opryland area in general. I hated the traffic, the chain big box hotels and restaurants, the sterileness of it all. We stayed downtown the other nights of our trip and I enjoyed the atmosphere down there so much more. If I went back I would stay downtown or perhaps a little further out in the country, not at Opryland. That being said, if I WAS going to stay at Opryland (say to go to the Grand Ole Opry at Opryland one night), then I would probably recommend this place to stay in, not because it is a great hotel, but as I noted, it was fine.
The hotel was under some exterior renovations at the time but it did not interrupt our stay. The hotel is clean and attractive. Rooms were large and the bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent.
As other reviewers have stated it was extremely hard to find and when we did find it the construction equipment took up a great deal of the already limited parking. I am handicapped and in January I specifically requested a 1st floor room with one queen or king bed. When I complained to the desk clerk he was didn't appear to care as he said I would have to speak to the manager in the morning. I was pleased that our room was JUST off the elevator however. Our room was large enough and was clean. This was the first BW where you had to return your luggage cart to the lobby. I was very pleased that the eggs in the morning weren't cold and wet. However, they had run out of beskets (sp) an hour after opening and didn't have any more The gravy was great. I won't be staying at this property again when I return to Nashville. I almost for got entry into the build could be made at any entrance day or night with out a room key not very secure
We had some difficulty finding the hotel because our gps was not working right When we saw it was under construction we kind of wondered but it wasn't a real issue.The rooms were big and clean.Some staff members need to be more knowledgable about the transportation to downtown.
We were treated poorly by the front desk.Our room was not ready. There was construction, and our vehicle was covered in debris. After complaining to corporate, we were told the manager would be contacting us. We have yet to hear anything!
We were here for two nights while visiting Nashville. Had some trouble finding it, but it turned out to be the hotel where all the building material was, and the building cranes. Not the best signal if you arrive... Unfortunately the guy at the reception didn't make up for this, as he was just not the friendliest.. Room was nice and big, but replacing the ceiling plates when it has stains is not really difficult. Breakfast was ok. Location good if you want to visit the Grand Ole Opry. So ok visit, but not again.
Hotel overbooked, got upgraded to "presidential suite" and it was disappointing, I can only imagine what a regular room would be like. Room not clean and run down, internet didn't work, and got woken up by construction being done at 7:30am. Also was overcharged $70+ on a one night stay with no explanation as to why or an apology for the issue that we were still dealing with days late.
My husband and I planned a two day trip to Nashville for a concert and a little sight seeing. The inside of our room was nice- two double beds, microwave, small refrigerator and a separate little area to sit away from the sleeping area. The outside is under construction - which we did not know at the time we booked the hotel There was major construction going on but they were pretty much finished by 5 or so each day. One really nice thing was that there was a shuttle service that got you downtown and back. This was essential, especially since we went during the SEC basketball tournament and parking downtown was an issue! I would consider staying here again
very nice and clean, would stay @ this Best Western again. Employees very nice. Location perfect for going to the Grand Ole Opry. Just wish the shuttle would take you downtown, not just to the Opry Land Hotel.
The hotel was fine, basic room with sitting area, the beds and pillows were comfortable. Unfortunately, they have construction going on, and they told me when I asked at check-in that the workers started at 9:30-10 AM. In fact, they started at 7:30. Also, the curtains did not close all the way, so the room was not dark after sunrise.
With all of the activities surrounding this area of Nashville, we were very surprised and pleased with how quiet the rooms were. Staff was great, breakfast was fine - typical for a hotel. There was construction happening on the exterior, but they didn't start before 7:00AM, and were done early evening. Very good hotel for the money!
My friend booked 3 rooms under her name for our stay in Feb. When we arrived we were the only 3 couples checking in and we asked to put our own credit cards against our rooms. This was very confusing to them and ultimately messed up the bills a month later. Also when one of the couples got to their room, there was still someone in it. When trying to resolve the billing issue, the staff was very unfriendly and rude. D
We stayed here for one night it was excellent ,room very big and clean,and it included breakfast.It has a shuttle bus to take you downtown for 10 dollars each, and they pick you up on the hour until 12.30am .Good customer service and helpful ,Opryland is across the road and the outlet mall is next door to Opryland great shopping
More than likely the last time. I have not been please both stays so I would say that is my fault but will not let it happen again. The breakfast area was not pleasant at all. They could not keep up with demands. Not one that likes to grind to get my cereal out why not the small boxes. Fire alarm went off twice in less than 30 minutes. What more do you want me to say
Our stay was great..the hotel was great and the people were great... can say nothing bad about the experience. When the exterior work is completed in the building it will be even better. but the construction that was going on in no way diminished the stay.
Building having renovations was not informed prior to arrival. Then had to deal with rude check-in clerks who said you must get luggage to room when I ask for a luggage cattie, then he watched as a vendor made two loads and unload trips with only available luggage dolly.Was awaken at 3:45 AM by truck loading renovation debris dumpster, beeping and metal slamming under window but they were real nice and returned it at 4:50 AM. Mr. William took charge made me feel better but couldn't make up lose sleep and shock or rude awaking. Reminded me of Viet Nam. Rooms and meals were great. Couldn't ask for better location.
We stayed here at this hotel when we come in town for the Blake Shelton conceert. Honestly for the price you pay it is a good deal. It is nothing fancy, but it is a good hotel! Honestly everything was clean and the shower had good water pressure which is important to me. I can't stand a shower in a hotel that the water pressure sucks. The hotel is NOT close to downtown Nashville, but we LOVED THAT! It is very close to Opryland Resort you can walk if you want. The hotel is close to the Opry Mills Mall which is great. We really enjoyed the mall and especially the movie theater it was nice. My husband and I are the kind of people who are always out on vacation enjoying seeing everything so this hotel was perfect for us. The bed actually was comfortable. The pillows are little small which every hotel we go to it seems they are small. I would stay again.

I've stayed at the hotel several times over the last several years (twice in the past 4-6 months) and was pleased to return to find a fantastic remodel. Of course the price has increased, but such is worth it given the quality of the property. HOWEVER. The new remodel and the quality of several members of your new front desk staff are not parallel. In the past I have received excellent customer service and professionalism from your team - unfortunately, its evident that your new team has little passion for customer service and is merely there for the paycheck to pay their bills. WHY would you consider hiring people who aren't service and quality driven? WHY remodel to the scale that you have and have such poor representation of your brand on the frontlines? During my last stay another customer even remarked to me in the elevator after checking in "Well. This is NOT what I remember it being!" I will return to this hotel because the location is fantastic, the airport shuttle is always professional and pleasant, the rooms are always clean/tidy (thank you, Terri for always overseeing quality and being so kind with any concerns!) and it is a familiar home-away-from-home to me. But it GREATLY concerns me to see such a negative change (obviously in management, who makes the hiring decisions) when your hotel is one of the finest for the price and quality in Nashville. On a more positive note, thanks to Terri, Cullan and Melinda for always being welcoming and professional. You keep us coming back. I look forward to seeing positive changes in your future, whether in training or replacement. Your customers deserve better quality.
Great location for a short walk to a Logan's Steak house and a clean, quiet, comfortable room for a great nights sleep. This was a stop over on our way home from Florida. The Best Western had everything we needed and was close to decent restaurants which had a variety of choices.
Having stayed at this property for several years, I have seen it improve throughout the years,,, but also has the price has gone up quite a bit. The rooms are nice and the hot water great. Shower wonderful pressure. Beds fine and breakfast good. Kurig coffee maker in room, but a cheap coffee and not so great. Seems like someone is working around the motel cleaning and doing maintenance. The help in the breakfast area improved greatly from the past. Would stay there again, as the location is good.
My wife and I have stayed here before when in Nashville. We had a full slate planned for a Valentine's Day get away. The BW is a good location for the activities we enjoy: Grand Ole Opry, General Jackson Showboat, Opry Mill Mall, Convention Center, many good restaurants and more. It's only a short drive to downtown. We usually spend time honky tokin on Broadway and attend s show at the Ryman. We have always been pleased staying at the BW but this time when we entered our room we both said WOW! There was a large beautiful living area and a large bedroom with a jacuzzi. We had a wonderful 4 night stay for only 419.32 including tax. I made our reservation with Booking.com. Checking out I mentioned our nice stay. The nice fellow at the front desk smiled and said we were in the Presidential King Suite. I thanked him and said we'll be back!
hotel is good location to all of opra land and restaurants . all of items in hotel in good shape ,breakfast typical ,vending machine in lobby not taking bills,good location to stay in Nashville . rooms spacious and set up properly . only problem is pillows ,those small decor type ,not good for sleeping
Quick check in, although had to correct the price per night that I was told over the phone. Quoted $88 per night when I called, but the paper I was asked to initial/sign had a rate of 100 and 102 for each night.. When I questioned the rates, mark was more than happy to correct, something about booking it thru BW reservations, but I had called the hotel? Not sure what that was all about, but it was quickly fixed. Our room (King) was on the fifth floor, very quiet, bed was very comfortable, clean room, everything we needed plus. Breakfast was the standard free BW breakfast, nice seating area and good coffee. Also had a Keurig in the room if you wanted to make your own coffee. We also received some great recommendations for close restaurants and Nashville restaurant for lunch. as well as how to see downtown Nashville without taking the tour trolley since most of what you want to see is in a very close proximity. Would stay there again for sure
The building is well kept and extremely clean. King size bed room very spacious and clean. Whole place smelled fresh. Breakfast just ok. Located just across the road from Opryland. A about 5 miles from downtown Nashville. Good overall experience here but one thing I have to say is that both times I have stayed at a best western in the last year has been (both times) all out mixed up when it comes to the booking process. Each time I have booked through the main best western number, and much of that information is not conveyed to the individual property. For example, this time I was using points that were given to me for the mix up last time. I booked the room and stated I wanted to use the points for a free night. All good. Got a email confirming that. So staying a total of two nights one supposed to be free. On our second evening there upon returning back to the room after a day downtown, my husbands and my keycard didn't work. Down to the front desk we go, I asked if it had something to do with one night being free-were both nights put into the system? The desk clerk didn't check just told us we had probably demagnetized our cards by putting them by our cell phones (which we hadn't). He rekeyed our cards and we were on our way. So day three go to check out asked the young desk clerk to make sure the points were being redeemed. He said oh no we have no record of that I have to call my manager. Manager comes out says oh you would have had to tell us that at check in. Do you have a voucher? Of course I didn't have the voucher as I was told upon booking that my points would be redeemed. Luckily I had saved the email and it took an extra 15 minutes to clear all this up. I had to FORWARD him my email (??) I'm now sending a best western email to a best western email. Don't their systems communicate at all?? I still don't know if I have been charged for the second ("free") night on my bank end only time will tell. The manager said 3-5 business days. Ought to be interesting. The manager didn't seem to give clear answers. How does this happen? I don't expect a good answer at this point. I only know it's frustrating for the customer. I like best western but they need to get their booking process straight. Enough said.
Nice clean room, nice clean hotel, eggs, bacon and sausage at breakfast, pretty quiet, convenient to Opryland Convention center so did not have to pay Opryland prices, have stayed here in the past and will do so again.
Enjoyed our stay here. Staff was helpful and hotel is very clean and inviting! Desk staff was very helpful getting us transportation. Our refrigerator did not work in our room but we managed without it.
We were staying just one night on our way through Nasville. We were greeted by a very friendly staff person who said she was on the cleaning staff. The room was beautiful, clean, with two very comfortable beds...and the pillows were fantastic. The usual BW hot breakfast was included, along with bananas and oranges. The only complaint was the intermittent WiFi. My iPad would not stay connected, perhaps because of the "fair" signal strength. The front desk was unable to solve the problem except to offer me the use of the system in the lobby. Other than the WiFi, we were very pleased with the very comfortable accommodations.
We were very pleased with the friendliness of the staff, the décor was very up to date and clean. A very positive experience. The continental breakfast was served hot and was a definite plus to our stay. The staff was helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. I would stay there again without hesitation.
Overall a decent experience, though I've stayed at better Best Westerns. Breakfast was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Some of our rooms weren't clean like they should have been. Our check in process was delayed due to miscommunication between group sales and front desk. They were however able to accommodate our late arrival.
Everything about this hotel is great, except for the breakfast. We stayed here on a Tuesday night because we had a flight the next morning and live over an hour from the airport. We discovered the breakfast didn't start until after the time we needed to be at the airport. It seems to me that for a hotel this close to the airport, they should start breakfast much earlier. Other than that, great hotel!
The rooms were nice and clean and wonderful breakfast each morning. Front desk not very reliable and the shuttle bus left us at Opryland and never came back at allotted time. We kept calling hotel with no answer - kept getting a fax signal. We had to walk back in very hot heat to the hotel and barely had enough time to get around for a show we had tickets for that evening.
Just spent 5 nights... Great breakfast.... Perfect location to everything....clean.... Will be back !!! Easy to get to from airport... Quiet...hotel just did "upgrade"....easy parking...employees helpful with directions... Nashville Palace is about a 3 minute drive ... Great music !!!!
Modern, clean and comfortable place. Friendly and smiling staff around , ready to help anytime . Exelent breakfast and the coffee taste like coffee ! Yes, a few red lady bugs around the window but inoffensive and match with the decor and don't bother your sleep ;)
I have stayed at this facility on several occasions for business travel and for a relaxing w/e with friends and family. It is always a great stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and has been undergoing a remodel. This is always my stay of choice when in the Nashville area.
the housekeeping help were so very kind and polite. the desk clerks were snooty. We had 2 terrible noisy neighbors. When I told the desk clerk the next morning, he just looked at me. I told a different clerk the 2nd night and he was willing to put us in a different room, but there was no apology. New bldg and it was very clean.
Watch for hidden Safe FEE even if you don't use or want a safe!not a big deal but You should be made aware of it.Staff could use some training in customer service. Room had 50+ lady bugs, staff not helpful to deal with this.Internet patchy. On the upside; transportation to Opery was available right outside the door, close to restaurants walking distance ,not much traffic noise, mini golf close by.
Fast internet, hard water, very nice and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in Nashville. The hotel is also fairly easy to get in and out of from the interstate. The Grand Ole Opry and several restaurants are nearby.
In-room condiments OLD - could not block out light - ugly exterior. Poorly trained new staff - was not able to use my Best Western gift certificates because staff did not know how! No stopper for bath tub and carpet looked dirty. Pillows way too SOFT but mattress was comfortable.
We stayed here for two nights and had an overall great experience. The room we had was a king size and had a great size. I said to my husband it was almost too big as we would put things down and couldn't find them. loved having the fridge in there too. The front desk staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. There was enough of variety for 4 of us. We loved being within walking distance to several bars and restaurant and it was only $15 to UBER downtown from there on a Saturday night. The check-in and out were fast and efficient. The only thing we didn't like we're the pillows. They were small and square and I needed at least 4 just to get comfortable.
Do not use this Hotel if you are attending a Conference. They want to charge you extra for Shuttle Service. This service should come with the expense of the stay. I was very disappointed in the fact that they did not have better Customer Service.
The Best Western in Nashville went out of their way to provide a great experience for me and my coaches. The hotel staff allowed us to store a batting protective screen that was purchased at the ABCA convention over night in a storage area in the hotel. This was a inconvenience to the staff but they were very accommodating with our dilemma.
I've visited Nashville several times now and each time stayed at a different hotel, mostly because of prices and availability. Anyways, this hotel is in a great location, very close (and when I say very close I mean right down the road) to the Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills Mall and downtown is only a few minutes away. The hotel it's self was very nice. Staff was welcoming and very friendly, we made it into town quite early and they allowed us to go ahead and check in which was super great! Check in was a breeze as was check out. Breakfast was good but could use a more versatile menu as each day they had the same thing. Rooms were very nice, clean, well-kept, comfortable beds. All in all, it's a great choice and I definitely plan to stay here again if available!
The stay was very enjoyable, the staff was fast and always asked if there was anything they could do for you. Rooms are nice and comfortable. I would recommend staying here if you are a single or a large group. Nice place for the value.
Fast, friendly and helpful check in. We stayed in a good sized double suite, clean and modern with microwave, fridge and safe. Very nice restaurants close by. We booked onto the shuttle bus to take us downtown that evening $10 return. Hot buffet breakfast was provided, good choice and very tasty. A nice hotel, would stay again.
I so wanted to give this hotel good marks but I couldn't. The décor was nice but the air conditioning unit was broken and we sweated all night. It was unusually warm for this time of the year so we were really hot. The unit also made noises and kept us awake. There were also ladybugs crawling on me in bed. My husband ate breakfast but said it was not good. And finally, the two guys that checked us in were not friendly. We won't be back.
I liked this hotel it's right off the interstate and next to a nice indoor outlet. It's located in a convenient location. The only problem I had was the gentle man at the front desk when I called about my room to see if it was ready. The general manager helped the situation and made it all better. Besides that the hotel was great and the rooms are big and nice and up to date.
This was the best priced hotel in the area, with the highest ratings and it did not disappoint. The room was well appointed with fridge, microwave and sink, and a couch that made the room a little more comfortable. Wi-fi in the room was free, but weak and frustrating. NO resort fees!! Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast, nothing special, but nice to have included. We do enjoy Douwe Eggbert coffee and think it would be nice to have it in the lobby for guest to enjoy at any time. Easy access to several restaurants and a convenience store with gas. Opryland Mall nearby is definitely worth a trip. Lots of restaurants and a food court, fun things to do and shopping too. Shuttle to Opryland Convention Center on the hour, upon request is $15 per person per stay. During Christmas, for 2 people, Yes, for a family??? Hotel location is close to Opryland Hotel, but for cold December holiday nights, it might be a bit too cold for a walk. Traffic can be horrendous during this time, too many events, mall shopping and not enough parking. Parking for Opryland was $26 a day, even if you were just there for a couple of hours. However, this hotel was in a quiet area, with little traffic and you. Old easily get to a few restaurants without fighting traffic.
We stayed here with family for a long pre-Christmas weekend in Nashville. Located in fairly close proximity of Opryland, the Opryland Mills outlet mall, and the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center, as well as close to a slew of restaurants, it is a convenient location and is a fairly easy area to navigate. It also can be challenging due to traffic, as we discovered this past weekend... There were a variety of Christmas events occurring in the area, one of which blocked access to the hotel. It took us over two hours to turn on to Music City Circle and drive the .6 miles to the Best Western Suites. While this is certainly nothing the hotel can control, take this in to consideration during the holiday season. You will encounter traffic, more so than what one would normally see with just regular Opryland traffic, which may block access to ANY hotel in the area. The Best Western Suites building is older, but the interior was remodeled last year. The exterior is currently being renovated, and there is currently no signage on the exterior of the hotel. Keep this in mind if you are traveling in the near future. My husband and I were the first to arrive to the hotel, and were able to check in two of out three rooms, The staff was remarkably friendly and willing to engage in conversation and offer suggestions for food and entertainment. We entered our room, which appeared quite clean, but upon closer inspection had a few problems: 1. Ladybugs. While this is something common in the late fall/early winter in the South, it was a bit disconcerting to find several flying about the room and crawling the walls and windows. We are used to this phenomenon, but know other patrons may not... 2. Stained walls. Our room had two double beds separated by a nightstand. The half wall separating one bed from the couch was stained with something. I will leave it at that. 3. The bathroom. While all appeared clean, there was a big glob of something (gum?) stuck in the door frame. Additionally, after showering, messages from previous patrons began to appear in the steamed over mirror... "Aloha," twice, "This mirror is dirty," and some puerile drawings. This made me question how clean the rest of the room actually was... 4. The shower chair. My husband referred to it as the death trap. Two of the legs folded in while my husband was showering. It sank down about four inches until he was level with the edge of the bathtub. We laughed it off, but realized that it could be an issue for someone else. Now for the good: the linens (towels, washcloths, bedding) were bright white and smelled of bleach. The rest of the room appeared clean- the beds were made tightly, the floor was vacuumed, and all surfaces were wiped down daily. The layout of the rooms is nice, and includes an open closet containing an ironing board and iron, as well as extra blankets, the bathroom was replenished daily with toiletries, clean towels upon request, and has a hairdryer available for use, there was a mini-bar area which was comprised of a bar sink, mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker, plenty of clothing storage was available, there was a room safe, and lastly, there was ample room for a pull-out sofa, coffee table, and desk and chair at the far end of the room. The staff- everyone we encountered- was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to Opryland, and a few minutes drive to many area attractions, including downtown. It is a family hotel, but is fairly quiet. The showers had fantastic water pressure and plenty of hot water! Breakfast was included, but was fairly basic. Wifi was free, but fairly slow. Overall, it was a decent hotel for the price. Our family members felt that their rooms were well-maintained, and both seemed to be in better condition than ours (One of the housekeeping staff was kind enough to fold some of the clothing my niece, whom we dub the hurricane, left on the floor of her room). Our issues may have been a fluke.
Very pleased with our stay. The hotel was newly renovated and very clean. The staff was nice and let us check in 30 minutes early. The room was large with a comfy king size bed. However the pillows were very flat. The shower had awesome water pressure. Breakfast was also good. Nothing fancy but it's free so no complaints. We would most definitely stay here again.
My wife and I decided to get out of town and take in a Christmas Opryland show. We stayed at the Best Western nearby to avoid the expensive Opryland Hotel. The hotel was good (old but remodeled). The neighborhood was a hotel wasteland--totally not walkable.
The staff were very friendly, and I absolutely loved the layout of my room. Everything was fantastic, especially considering the price. I enjoyed the fact that there was a couch, a desk, and a bed - it made it feel more homey for me (especially considering that the drive itself was quite stressful).
everyone was very polite and worked really hard , rooms clean. great location, a nice couple of days. they were kind and let us in a little early. the free breakfast was good. the second day the place was full and the staff really ran their butts off to make sure there was plenty of food and supplies Like all hotels I have no idea who picks out the carpeting in the halls.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well maintained. I did find a couple of ladybugs near the window, but nothing to worry about. The TV even had a sleep timer. Love that feature.
We stay at this hotel any time we go to Nashville. Friendly Staff.. very nice rooms... good price. We love being close to so many nice restaurants and the Opry Mills Mall! We stay here with our children and their families every Thanksgiving weekend. Perfect for us!!!!
We have stayed at this BW before with a large group. We will definitely stay here the next time we plan a stay in Nashville. There is plenty to do in the immediate area and it is a cheap shuttle ride to the action downtown.
This was a nice clean, quiet facility with a larger room that I expected. We will come back and stay here again. The location was very handy for Opry Mills shopping without the expense of some other facilities.
What a real nice hotel. Firstly whilst checking in, we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff, and this continued to be the same throughout our stay. The hotel is very well presented and maintained. During our stay some maintenance seemed to be happening outside but this was no problem for us. If visiting this area again we would certainly stay here again. Easy walking distance to many resturants.
The front desk employees were friendly and very efficient. We stayed here for three nights. Our room with two comfortable double beds was clean and spacious and equipped with a flat screen TV, a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. There were plenty of towels and other amenities in the bathroom. Since our room was on the 4th floor, we were glad that the elevators worked the whole time we were there. We loved the free and fast wifi and the round trip shuttle service for $10.00 each.
I had a spacious , comforting room, well designed and equipped with microwave, fridge, coffe maker, reasonable range of tv channels and a sofa. Check in was swift and check out was expedite, I could not valuate the breakfast never the less, plenty of parking free of charge space.
We checked in no problem, front desk staff were good and processed us quickly. The room was clean , bed was comfortable...we loved the shuttle service. Considering the cost was much cheaper than staying downtown we were pleased.local restaurants were a lot of fun...overall a nice stay in the hotel
Stayed at this hotel as we were going to a concert at the Grand Ole Opry. Excellent location, near the concert hall and a very large shopping centre to, just 5 mins drive. Ate in the Santa Fe Cattle steakhouse just round the corner from the hotel which was good too. The hotel is excellant value for money, clean and tidy and does what it says on the tin.
We loved this hotel. The most important things have been updated like the beds and bathroom vanities. It was clean too. But the best thing was the size of the room we had. It was standard double size, but then also had a couch and desk area. We were there for 3 nights and were really able to spread out and enjoy. We also liked the in room coffee maker and microwave and the breakfast had a good variety. We will stay here again if we visit Nashville in the future.
I stayed here for 2 nights recently and because the Hotel was getting a face lift it made the stay a little less then okay. The entire outside of the building was being painted so it was no sign on the building when I drove up. The rooms were very nice but you were limited because of the painting (i.e. My room was the first room by a side door that never locked). A plus was the area the hotel was in. Less then 5 min from Ophre Mills Mall. Easy excess to the interstate. This place get a 2 out of 5. Could get 4's if it wasn't for all the mess.
We have stayed at this same Best Western for 3 years, very clean, nice sized rooms, continental breakfast is decent, great value. The internet is extremely slow though, no matter what time of day. I cannot comment on the pool due to the time of year we visit Nashville. It appears to be nice. They were painting the outside of the building during our stay so the Best Western sign was not on the front (at first we feared they were closed)
We were there for an anniversary weekend. Loved the hotel and staff. The hotel had a shuttle service for $10 per person round trip they would take you to downtown Nashville and drop you off and bring you back. The shuttle ran till 2:30 am on Saturday night, great advantage for a couple wanting to celebrate safely. We will be staying here again..
We stayed at this hotel at the end of October. We have never traveled to Nashville before so before we booked, I asked around to find out where friends have stayed in the past. No one had stayed at this particular hotel but based on the website photos and price of the hotel I thought it would be worth a gamble. We were very pleased with this hotel. Check in was easy, the inside was recently remodeled it looked like, the bed was comfortable, and shower pressure was awesome! There was some remodeling going on outside at the time we stayed but it never bothered us. We also used the shuttle service where you could pay $10 per person and ride the shuttle all day to downtown Nashville. It was just perfect! The shuttle typically ran until 1 o'clock in the morning. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends and family.
Front desk folks were marginally helpful, outside of property looked a little tired, but the rooms was great. We shared it with over 40 ladybugs. I say 40 because that's how many we killed and they still kept coming. It wasn't a big deal, to us, and that sentiment was shared by the front desk. A little pricey, but in Nashville, it was about right for what we got.
Frankly, it troubles me to have to "re-live" the horror and abomination of staying at this hideous dump as I write this review. With regret, it was booked and recommended on the American Airlines web sight. To begin with, the outside of the building is getting painted so all of the Best Western signage was removed. As a result, I drove past this joint six time before I finally figured out it was in fact the place I had mistakenly booked a room at. You would think that management would have informed guests that the signage was missing with a simple phone call or E-mail alert? And speaking of management, while at this "bug infested-filthy property" for 3-days straight, I asked to speak to a manager as I keep getting the "run around" that he isn't there. When I finally checked out on Friday morning, I asked again to see the manager and was told he won't be in until Monday morning by the desk clerk. That would make 5-days in a row with no management on sight. I also have countless photos to support my clams but let me start by saying that the room had; broken/busted up furniture, spiders (and other bugs) crawling our to the smelly wall A/C unit vents, the ironing board had broken legs, the hair dryer wouldn't work correctly, the bathroom was dimly lit, the shower plumbing didn't work correctly as the faucets leaked badly, the plastic cover bolt caps were missing that hold the toilet to the floor, there wasn't any air vent/ceiling fan in the bathroom, EVERYTHING was covered in disgusting un sanitary dust in the room and bathroom, housekeeping left useless tiny bars of soap to shower with, there wasn't a bath mat for the shower floor, some of the towels were dangling on the top of the toilet from the wall towel rack, the bed head-board was falling from the wall it was originally attached to, the TV had a very poor selection of analog stations to choose from, the volume was hard to hear, repulsive/greasy finger prints all over the inside of the two elevators, the glass in the area of the front doors of the building was full of hand prints and dirty, the maintenance guy left a broken/old A/C unit just laying in the hallway for two days as you had to walk around it to get to the elevator (a fire/trip hazard in my opinion), the under sink cabinet door had a missing/broken hinge of which keep the door from closing, there was so much dirt build-up in the cabinet itself-I feel compelled to report this to local health department, the bed was lumpy and the tiny pillows they used wasn't for a king size bed, the front desk person who checked us in was very rude and ignorant, the "courtesy breakfast" was a joke-slop that the homeless wouldn't eat plus it was a filthy disorganized mess each morning, there wasn't a "do not disturb" sign in the guest room, the clock in the room wasn't set to the correct time (two hours off-it's NOT my job to re-set the clock in a hotel), the front door in my room would BANG into the bathroom door - poor planning/design, the shower curtain didn't have the popular/modern bowed out rod as real hotels have-in order to keep the disgusting curtain from hitting your body and there was poor water pressure in the shower. The parking lot was also poorly lit in most spots. No one on sight would ask the "BARE FOOT" distasteful and objectionable guests eating in the breakfast area to go and put shoes on. On top of that, there were some nasty and sleazy drunks completely emptying out the ice maker as they actually used a folded cardboard beer container/box as an "ice cube ramp" for channeling the ice directly to their many coolers all lined up in a row, yet NO ONE on sight said anything to them. I would NEVER - EVER stay at this refuse heap or recommend it to anyone.
For starters, the hotel wouldnt or couldnt send an email confirmation. I called back with the confirmation number to make sure it was legit, and it was, but an email would have been peace of mind. Upon arrival at where the GPS said was the correct address there was a blank white sign with no sign of BEST WESTERN ANY WHERE ON IT, and quite a distance behind the sign was a hotel with plastic over the windows and only a couple vehicles in the lot. The staff was nice as we checked in to the unmarked hotel, it was the right place after all, thanks to my iphone gps... We walked into the room, it was nice and clean, but the AC was not doing a very good job. Exhausted from driving 10 hours we just assumed the AC would catch up and start cooling. I woke up sweating a few hours later and walked over to see what was up with The AC and pulled the curtain back and discovered the problem. The intelligent hotel owner or someone had completely covered the whole window and AC with clear plastic and masking tape. The AC was boiling hot because it couldnt exhaust the hot air outside. I immediately opened the window and removed the plastic and it started cooling, I wonder how much carbon monoxide we breathed prior to the removal of the plastic.... To make matters worse, the noise begins promptly in the early morning with heavy equipment beeping alarms as they started to paint the side of the hotel close to our room, and this went on all day until after 5. Then this horrible rumbling down the hallway disturbed us even more causing me to look to see what it was. Again, the intelligent owner or whoever had workers removing the AC units out of rooms, placing them on a cart and hauling them down the hall and onto the elevator, dripping water out of them the entire time. To make matters even worse, they were hauling them outside right under our window and after cranking up the very noisy power washer, proceeded to wash the units in the parking lot. Then they would haul them back inside dripping water even more onto the elevator then noisily down the hall to put them back into the room. WE WERE TOLD NOTHING ABOUT ANY OF THIS CONSTRUCTION PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL AND CHARGED FULL PRICE. When confronted about these issues, they pointed out the small 8.5x11 inch sign on lobby desk apologizing for the construction, which i did not see when we first arrived.
The Best Western was a lot nicer than i was expecting. I stayed in the Business King room. It had a place to hang coats as well as a rack above for storage. Near that was a folded up ironing board and iron. Across from that was a small fridge on top of that a counter with a keurig and keurig single serve cups. A small sink. The Room had a huge bed and beautiful clean sheets. had a dresser with a nice flat screen on top. The tabletops on each side of the bed had lamps with plugs for charging. The room aslo was spacious with a seperate area with a desk and lamp and nice chair. Alos had a couch and coffee table. Plenty of room. The bathroom was spacious enough and very clean. Had a blow dryer and updated sinks. Shower was clean. Towels were clean. Breakfast changes daily. Cereal, milk, orange juice, apple juice, assorted pastries and muffins as well as eggs. Shuttle service to downtown Nashville runs until 2:30 a.m on weekends I believe, and is $10 round trip. Drops and picks you up at same location. Only con was the coke machine was broke, but thats a small detail. I would stay here again, great for families. Has stairs, and elevators...staff was nice enough.
Breakfast was great. Hotel and rooms were very clean. Great coffee in the room. Watch out for women in the parking lot with a great story about a need for gas, it is a scam. The need for 200 words to complete this survey is unnecessary, and will prohibit people from properly recommending a good experience.
The room was very nice, a lot nicer than we expected. However, the staff answering the phone was not very helpful in booking a room. The person answering the phone said they did not have any rooms available. According to Trip Advisor there was a room available and we booked through the Trip Advisor app, which was really convenient.
Well maintained hotel, Comfortable sleeping. Very good.Location for the Grand Ole Opry. Good breakfast. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend. If you go to Grand Ole Opry be sure to ask the front desk staff for parking tips!
The hotel was "off the beaten path" and parking lot looked dark and deserted. The landscaping was under construction. There was an error in my reservation booked on Hotel.com. The hotel staff did not expect me, but the manager accommodated me for the discounted rate! Everything went downhill from there. I was given the key to another guest's room. My assigned room looked clean and nicely decorated, but the bath cloths were stained. The bed was confortable. But, the next morning, I saw "lady bugs" on the ceiling and wall near the head of my bed! When mentioning this to the manager on check-out, I learned that he was aware of the problem. He referred to the bugs as being in the hotel in "droves", but was dismissive in stating that all of the hotels had them. I have previously stayed in other Nashville hotels on the same date and have never experienced this problem!
This was a very nice room with two beds and a couch. The TV was large and major channels had HD. Also there was a great coffee maker as well as microwave and fridge. Breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about.
This was a very clean nice place to stay and it is very close to the grand ole opry as well as downtown Nashville. I would recomend staying here if you do not mind a short drive to downtown and an easy cab ride to Opryland. There are several nice places to eat in the area as well.
Two friends and I stayed here for one night on a girls getaway vacation. It was easy to find, clean, good customer service. Pillows were awful, too flat and too small and too few. Upon check in, another guest came to the desk and showed a picture of a cockroach (alive) they found under their bed, they were given another room and we checked before we unpacked, our room seemed to be vermin free. The only problem we had was the shuttle back to the hotel after the Opry. We took a cab over but was told we could catch the shuttle back for $5, but when we started looking for the shuttle no one seemed to know where to pick it up. We ended up catching a ride with another hotels shuttle and the driver didn't charge us anything to ride. Then we took the shuttle downtown, and was to be picked up at the bottom of the hour, we were walking to the pickup spot and saw our shuttle take off at 20 minutes past the hour. We didn't want to wait another hour so we ended up hailing a cab, which charged us $27.00 to take 3 of us back to the hotel. If the hotel is going to provide a shuttle, they should tell the guests a precise location where they can be picked up and the driver should wait until exactly the bottom of the hour to depart, if that is the time.
The hotel staff were very friendly. They offered helpful information about the area. They had direction already printed out for the most visited locations in the area. We had a king size room on the first floor that was great. The weather was warm enough for use of the pool. It was clean , with many chairs and tables in the area to lounge in. The location was good for us. It is within minutes to the opry, opry mills, and General Jackson. It is an easy on and off from the interstate. We would stay there again
We stayed here for 2 nights while on a road trip. This hotel was the ideal choice for us as it was very close to the Grand Ole Opry which we had tickets for. We also visited the mall and had a meals locally on both nights. Room was clean and tidy and more like a suite with a sitting area and a huge bed. There is a shuttle bus that runs between all the hotels in the Music City Circle and for just $10 pp return travel it is a really good service. It runs form 10am until 1.30am so you can do some partying if you want! Only slight negative is that the complimentary breakfast is not the best and the breakfast area is small and can get over crowded. But overall a great choice for staying in Nashville.
Had a long weekend here, used the shuttle $10 round trip every day to get into Nashville. Took advantage of the breakfast every morning also. Waffles, eggs, bacon etc. All good. Keurig machine in room with 2 kinds of coffee. Front desk staff were very helpful answering our questions and giving advice.
The desk service and information provided was very professional and willingness to help outstanding. Hotel had a very clean room, free breakfast and shuttle service to attractions. Located near Opryland made a quieter yet convenient place to stay.
We stopped here on our way home to Ohio from Texas and I chose it because of it's proximity to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. The room was really nice with a big Jacuzzi tub, however when we took showers the water would back up so much that you were standing ankle deep in water by the end of the shower. The toilet was also loose when you sat down on it. We mentioned it to the girl at the front desk when we checked out so hopefully it will be fixed soon. The breakfast was OK but I kind of got upset watching an older lady who came in and fingered bagels and Danish with her bare hands and then decided she didn't want them and put them back. And yes, there were tongs to use to pick things up. The bed was extremely comfortable which was the main thing we were looking for since we had been on the road driving all day. The hotel was kind of hard to find even with a Trip Tik as it sits back off the road a bit.
The hotel was satisfactory. We had trouble checking in, the toilet was loose from the floor and the breakfast space was crowded. We did like the shuttle bus from the hotel to go downtown Nashville. The staff was friendly and helpful while we were there. However, since we have gotten home and had to call them because of a problem on our Visa bill I have to revise that. The manager is very rude and uncooperative and actually hung up on me. He will not return my calls and the problem stems from the problem the clerk had when he was checking us in.
This was a lovely new hotel with a very clean room, free Wi Fi, and close to restaurants. We had trouble locating the hotel even with a GPS as it sits back from the highway((way back). We chose this hotel for the two days we were visiting Nashville and we were going to the Grand Ole Opry and this hotel is only five minutes away. However, by staying outside of downtown Nashville, we had to navigate the morning and evening traffic to get to downtown. Since parking downtown is expensive we feel it might have been best to stay in town.
Great time in Nashville. Room was perfect and breakfast was great. Staff very helpful and informative. Would definitely stay here again or try another Best Western on the next vacation. Would recommend this hotel to anyone
We were very well looked after on check-in, and then shortly after when the room door lock was faulty. And then each occasion after when we interacted with the staff, they were without exception friendly and helpful. The room itself was nice, with comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. Breakfast was in a rather crowded area, and a little bit of a challenge given the busload of guests on both days we stayed wanting to have breakfast at the same time as we did. But the range was reasonable, and the food was OK. The hotel looks out on a disused parking lot, at least that's what I think it was, and is close to the Grand Ole Opry, though does require a short drive. But it doesn't look out at or provide easy access to anything else, so will require transport for most everything. A shuttle service to downtown is available, though, and is not badly priced. The Wi Fi service was good, and all in all, the stay was pretty good...
We chose this hotel based on it being near the Opry. It turned out to be the best hotel on this trip. It is a 5 minute drive to the Opry, the mall and the General Jackson. It is a 5 minute walk to lots of places to eat with at least 5 of them having live music. We were able to check in at noon. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Parking is free and there is an outdoor pool. Would love to stay here again.
Very friendly reception staff. Room was dark bed very comfortable & nice shower. Sadly on closer inspection the room needed a deeper clean it seems the cleaners only do the bits you can see. The other odd thing is when you arrive all the bedsheets from the vacated rooms are sitting in the corridor not a great 1st impression. The breakfast area is chaotic & cramped & locked when not in use so no free coffee. There are various shuttle services to get you to town or the Gran ol opry. Or it's an easy walk to the Opry
We loved this hotel. It was the last two nights on the road from our fall vacaton and it was so relaxing and comfortable. The way to end our vacation. The staff was very helpful in letting us know about shuttles to the downtown area and about the bus that would take us to the Grand Old Opry concert that night. After being on the road for 7 days it was great to let someone else do the driving. The breakfast was the best we had all week. Would recomend this hotel as a place to stay.
Clean and friendly with a comfortable rooms! Great location and good restaurants near by. Wi-Fi was a little slow is the only complaint that I can think of. 200 character minimum is silly. I said what I needed to say above so just ignore this additional paragraph used to fill up space on this comment.
