Had a good stay, minor issues sorted by management. Access to reception from the car park is good. Rooms accessible with few steps.
I had done much research of hotels in the Brentwood area and found that this hotel was a good one! My wife and I were traveling back home to Pennsylvania from Louisiana and wanted to make an overnight stay in Tennessee. I find myself to be a hotel "snob" and this hotel exceeded our expectations! We were treated with kindness from the moment we walked in the door until we walked out. We would definitely stay here again, if we have the chance to do so.
Do not stay here. There are many better options in the area. Upon arrival to my room, I checked the bed as I always do first. Pulling back the comforter, exposed dried up food (or bugs), hair, and stains throughout the bedding. Total disgust, but the room had a 2nd bedroom, so I checked that bed. Same exact situation. I approached the front desk manager and was told there were no other rooms available as the hotel was full. The manager then came into my room and acknowledge exactly what I saw. The manager's solution was to hand me a top sheet and a blanket. He said to lay the top sheet on top of the dirty bedding and sleep on it. Totally unacceptable to treat a customer in this way. Of course, he blamed the cleaning service, but this room should not have been made available in that condition. Now the hotel is refusing my refund request telling me there were other rooms available, which I was told there was not when I was on site. DO NOT STAY HERE.
We've stayed at this Best Western a couple of times in the last year. Very clean, quiet, good A/C, and in a good area. The motel doesn't have carts, so we had to carry our luggage in. However, this motel was more reasonably priced than some others in the area, so it didn't bother us. The breakfast was outstanding. Scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, pancakes, and coffee was very good.
Came to visit friends and was looking for a good room in a good part of town with a good price and this hotel exceeded my expectations! Would Highly recommend
This hotel is nice and small for the location, but you're within walking distance of a Long Horn Steakhouse, Waffle House, Asian restaurant, Target and other places. The staff is friendly, breakfast selection is wonderful and I enjoy the taste!!
Very squeaky ceiling when someone walks on floor in room above. Right next to weight room - not good! Breakfasts are boring - the same everyday and we were there for 5 nights. Some of the items are sub-par.
We had a free reward night so we decided to check out this Best Western, adding a second night since we were in town for a long weekend. We've stayed nearby several times and always thought it looked nice from the outside… At checkin, we were put in a room on the 2nd floor. Imagine our surprise when we had to drag/carry our luggage & cooler up the stairs as there isn't an elevator. Clearly this room is supposed to have a kitchenette as the hookups are all sticking out of the walls/floors but is just awkward empty space. There is also a sink hookup in the bathroom that is just empty space. (There is a vanity area outside the bathroom, which makes it difficult for people to get ready if someone else is still sleeping in the room.) At 11:00 pm, we were all settled into bed when the room phone rang. It was the front desk telling us that we were being too loud… We were in bed with the TV off, no one was even talking. We told him as much and he reiterated that we were making too much noise. Uhm, okay… we make alot of trips to the area and will never stay at this hotel again.
Nice place. Clean rooms and towels. Upgraded bathroom. Very convenient location. Near highway but no noise heard inside the room. I would definitely recommend a stay in this establishment. Host was also very friendly and hospitable to us.
Called a week ahead of time and made reservations while traveling from Canada. We landed and called to inform the front desk know we landed late and still had to stop for dinner. We were told by the lady at the front desk not to worry some one will be at the desk to check in. Now understand we booked a room and had our credit card to secure the room we did not think there would be a problem. We arrived at 10 pm later that night to only find that they had let our room go and no longer had room for us. We now had a mad scramble to find a new place to stay late at night and on spring break week. After calling many hotels in close proximity, staying loyal to our Best Western Rewards trying to stay at a Best Western or affiliate. We phone the Dickson location and able to secure the last suite 1 hr away from Brentwood. Management lied to us and said they tried to call us but no calls showed up on my call log. Basically being a Rewards card holder in this case hurt us. They let the room go so they could make a better profit from reselling the room. Making a report to Rewards didn't really help us to much in this case. All that happen was the management from Brentwood called to try and justify their inability to rectify this problem and it will happen to other guests. So tread lightly staying at this hotel! Ps Dickson was very helpful polite and the room was clean and bed was comfortable. Repairs on the hotel were a bit dodgie but a and all comfortable.
Great location, close to shopping and restaurants. Hotel is clean, beds are comfortable and the breakfast has a decent selection. Most of the staff is nice and friendly. Management could use a little more training.
Start to finish, a miserable experience. Rude front desk staff - two on separate days. Dirty sheets - blood stains. Leaking shower head and sink barely running more than a trickle - neither fixed during our stay. Breakfast - fit for a hunger striker. Watery scrambled eggs, way undercooked breakfast meats, rock hard biscuits, mealy apples as their only fruit, and no oatmeal - which they supposedly usually have. Noisy upstairs neighbors. NO luggage carts.
We always stay at the Best Western Plus in Brentwood when we have business in Nashville. The rooms are always clean, the staff is always friendly, the breakfast is delicious and internet is fast. Parking can be cramped if the hotel is full, but the area is safe and there are restaurants and a Target within walking distant.
Great Value for Quality Rooms. All newly updated. Very spacious. Would definitely stay again. Loved saving money compared to other nearby hotels. Had 3 other couple stay after my recommendation, due to the great cost.
I stay in Nashville weekly for work and best Western Brentwood is the only place that my crew and I have been and will be staying at I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to rest in cleanliness and very helpful and friendly staff
This hotel was okay. When we got in we noticed there was no elevator and a small set of steps to the first floor. The toilet was clogged when we got in the room and under the toilet seat there was poop. There was no body wash. There is a waffle house in the parking lot and a plaza with a target across the street. The hotel room was clean. The lady at the front desk was very nice. There were not many parking spots and it was almost full when we went to park. Bed was nice and comfortable. Breakfast area was nice and clean and a huge selection.
Good place to stay for any trips to Nashville. It's close to the interstate and maybe 10 minutes to downtown Nashville. Our suite was clean and spacious. The location appeared to be safe. The breakfast was nice, and I would recommend this place without hesitation.
Location great, older but well kept- bathrooms and area clean--body soap container could have been refilled; breakfast looked good--even though I did not eat, due to other arrangements. Room equipped with necessary closet storage space, towels in ample supply. Staff helpful.
We stayed one night as part of a family trip. Conveniently located right off the highway (although that does cause some noise that can be heard from the room). Check-in was easy and quick. Rooms are spread out through different buildings. Was able to park right near the entrance of our building. We had a suite that gave us room to spread out. We appreciated the fridge and microwave to take a break from eating out while on vacation. We also appreciated having 2 TVs. Couch was extremely hard and uncomfortable. It was obvious there had been some renovations done to the room. In the bathroom, they had taken out a sink, but there were still pipes coming out of the wall. Not the safest when staying with a toddler. There are some shopping and food options nearby, including a Target. Breakfast was nice in the morning. Options included scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, fruit, pancakes, yogurt, cereal and more. Our only complaint is that all tables are spread out and only 2 chairs per table. For a family of 3, we had to sit apart. Not a big deal though. Check-out was quick with dropping the keycards in a basket and they email a receipt. Price paid was reasonable considering the room and area.
Way nicer than I expected for the price! Huge rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff, very clean. This hotel had it all for a fraction of the price. Stay here, you will not be disappointed! Love the location and so easy to get into the city without having to deal with city issues.
If you just need rails in the shower and not the toilet.. nor a service animal.. this is probably ok .. but otherwise its not handicapped accessible from the parking to the $250 deposit for service dogs ( and yes we had the paperwork) ..
Great location that is safe and easy to walk to restaurants and Target. The breakfast was good and had a pancake machine. The price is very good for the Nashville area when comparing prices downtown. We were in town for a medical procedure and we're able to get checked in and have a good night before getting up for the procedure and then come back for breakfast and check out.
Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Terrible stay that I WASTED my rewards points on. The bathroom ceiling in our room was dripping to the point of flooding the floor and my child almost slipped and fell when she found it. The hotel desk staff gentleman gave us an attitude when we called about it and asked what he should do about it! We asked for a different room and he said he didn't have one and handed us towels. Terrible customer service and attitude and the hotel itself was full of construction that no one warned us about prior to check in. I want my points back and would like extra as well for this terrible inconvenience. Rude and horrible front desk “customer service” I've ever experienced! Bringing this all the way up to corporate level.
Best Western Brentwood - No bathtub, shower only - No exhaust fan in bathrooms. - The door to step in to the shower is next to the shower head, so stepping in without getting your head sprayed is very awkward, you must reach up and adjust the sprayer away from you - Because this situated on a hillside, there are few guest rooms without stairs, sometimes two sets of stairs. Even the “first” floor has a few steps to go up to get to the rooms. - No elevators to go up levels - No freezer compartment in fridge - Our fridge was plugged into the outlet wired to the entry light. Not knowing that, we turned off the light when we left for the day. The next day our drinks weren't cold and all our food was spoiled because the fridge was off. Had to throw it all away. We called for service (before we figured out the plus situation) but no one came. - Be aware…The hotel is right next to the Interstate. - AC took over two hours to cool down the room at full blast - Exercise facility is in a separate building with a non-frosted glass door that opens to the outside. Anyone exercising is completely visible from the parking lot. Working out at night isn't really safe from anyone with a key. They can see you in there, but you can't see anyone approaching from outside.
In short, room had the strongest smoke odor I've ever smelled and floor was dirty and fireplace and tv didn't work at all. Air conditioning didn't come out well in bedroom and didn't get the floor they confirmed me on and instead was put in a room with no windows in the main room (s) in the corner of the building (117). Awful experience and they said they'd give me a refund which I never received.
Great price(compared to others in the are and especially Nashville rates) with comfortable bed and great staff. Breakfast was good. Near shopping and restaurants. We will be staying here when we return to Nashville area.
Our stay at the BW Brentwood was wonderful! My wife and I stayed here for a concert weekend. Our room was a lot larger than we expected and was spotless! The hotel is conveniently located off the main highway but close to many amenities. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend staying here on your next trip to Nashville!
Best hotel I have ever stayed in. Super clean and nice. Staff was professional and courteous. They have made us a customer for life. Anywhere we stay from now on we will be sure to stay ONLY at Best Western.
First of all, know that this hotel has no elevator and there are stairs everywhere. The vreakfast buffet had a nice variety of offerings, both hot and cold. Staff kept it stocked. The room itself was clean and comfortable, except for the couch. It was like sitting on a brick wall. The shower was like no other I have ever seen. It was a walk-in shower. The partition only covered half the shower, so water ended up splashing onto the floor, leaving a big puddle right in front of the toilet. It has a rainshower head, which I hate, and had low water pressure. The rooms are in several buildings, with 4 in each building, 2 downstairs and 2 up. Security for them was great, requiring a room key to enter the building. That being said, ice was only available in the main building, which means a bit of a hike to get it.
It was just a little over priced for a Best Western. I was just moving a child out of college and was not expecting to have to pay so much. It was priced this way because Taylor Swift was in town. Increased rates take the ability to stay at a fair priced hotel away for normal traveling individuals like myself. However not near as high as other hotels in the area. The staff was amazing and so so friendly! Breakfast was great! Room very clean! I do recommend!
Not completely ADA accessible. Stairs to get to breakfast from your hallway door. Otherwise, you have to exit the back side door, go outside and come in the front door and repeat to return to your room. Imagine if there's snow on the ground. No handheld shower head. Only one handrail in the bathroom in the shower; none by the toilet. No seat in the shower. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone handicapped.
Great price, great value! Stayed in a suite with 2 queen beds. Went to Brentwood with my family. Very spacious suite and room. Very neat and clean rooms and environment. Breakfast was very good. Not the bare minimum that I've seen at some hotels - even the ones where I have paid more. My teenagers ate well and no complaints. The hotel staff was also very helpful. I will definitely stay here again in the future.
I came to visit my Family to help celebrate my Sister birthday! And my Finace Birthday. However the motel overall Experience! Was terrible. And I did address the matter in which I had with the manager.
They upgraded our room without request or up charge. Room was lovely & clean. Easy entrance on ground floor. Breakfast area was very clean, and food was good! Had early check in with no problem. Would stay here again!
The room spelled heavily of cigarette smoke, yet the hotel is all non-smoking. They offered to change the room. Breakfast was disgusting. The only thing I'd recommend is the yogurt or oatmeal packet, since they are sealed. Cold coffee, as well.
The room was more like a little apartment. It was very clean. Full kitchen. Large living room area. Bedroom was very spacious. The bathroom was large. Two tvs made it nice. The view was great. Loved the doors going outside to the patio. Each building had 8 rooms which made it even cozier.
We stayed at this facility on Dec 2 and again on Dec 11. On Dec 2, our room was on second floor, no elevator and we had to carry our luggage up a large flight of stairs. The bed in our room was one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever tried to sleep in - they need to be replace. Because I had already booked again for Dec 11 using a free night certificate, I requested a first floor room. This room was amazing, the bed was very comfortable and we only had to carry our luggage up 4 steps. Breakfast was mediocre, attendant was unfriendly,
Nice to have 2 king beds with 4 adults. However, covers were scarce- constant fight for covers. The door was very squeaky and was a disturbance. A little disappointed when rate didn't match online. Didn't discover until after back home.
Extremely inconvenient, no elevator had to climb a huge flight of stairs. These are the most uncomfortable beds I've ever experienced. Toilet was broken, place smelled like cheap frebreeze. Very dirty.
Good place to stay, good area, shopping and dining close by. Attending races at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, very easy 6-mile drive from track. I like the rooms being in separate buildings, no noise from people running down halls.
Bad shower design, glass partition doesn't stop water from getting on floor. Room cleaning seems to be done quickly so floor doesn't get cleaned and coffee was restocked until pointed out. Been remodeled and more detail could have been done to avoid some quirks.
I loved the hotel all the best western matter of fact are great and I suggest that everyone please give them a try and enjoy and relax management and employees are amazing and are hands on with the customer
If I could've crawled into my suitcase and slept I would have. The kind of place where you sanitize your feet after you get out of the shower. Upon walking into the hotel it smells like India. But at 2 AM or else you're going to go without a car. Our plan was to sleep there take a cab to the enterprise car rental and then carry on our trip. The hotel does not have an elevator and our floor was on the second level. Typically wouldn't be a big deal. But to even get to the stairs, you have to go up a flight of stairs, down the hall, down a flight of stairs, then down the hall before you get to the two flights of stairs to go up. My bag is 50 pounds and it's two in the morning. Surely we woke up everyone. Opening the door to the room it's dark and dingy and dirty. Search the bed for bugs didn't find any. We found filth. Opening the door to the bathroom the smell of urine/you in the face. That's because the floor around the toilet was covered in it. Such a shame because you can tell someone has recently renovated it - they just don't take care of it.
Great hotel for the money. Easy in and easy out. If there was any comment, it would be lack of elevator to the rooms on the next floor, but the stairs are easy and not too bad to carry luggage up. I hope to be back soon.
The rooms are nicely furnished and updated. Everything worked and is clean. The rooms are made up daily. The staff is friendly. Just miles from downtown Nashville. The free breakfast buffet has a nice selection and is well attended. This is a very nice place to stay.
The room was huge and had everything we needed. The staff were very nice and attentive. The free breakfast was hot and fresh daily. I would definitely stay again if the situation arose. The hotel is also close to lots of dining and shopping.
Location was great from Nashville - about 15-20 minute drive from Broadway in downtown Nashville. Breakfast was GREAT!! Coffee, flavored creamer, bagels, bread, muffins, oatmeal packets, cereal, yogurt, bacon, sausage, scrambles eggs, gravy & biscuits, juice, apples and a pancake machine!! There are no elevators but we were on the first floor so that was ok. There are 4 buildings so you have to walk outside to get to the main building unless your room is there. Carpet in the hallway was a little worn. Our room had an odd layout. The bathroom was "in a closet." You opened the door and it was like a long hallway with the toilet, shower and sink all in a row. The flooring was cracked by the bathroom door. A little hard to get on the internet at first but was ok once you got on. Had to keep logging in every day because it kicked you off. The staff was very friendly. Housekeeping did come around to the rooms. You did not have to request it. The bed was a little soft with the topper that was on it and it was a little lumpy.
I booked through Hopper in Brentwood TN. When we got the reservation was made but hopper hadn't paid BW. I was suspicious of who was on my side, and the front desk turned out to be telling the truth. Thankful for the staff at BW for not kicking me out after my frustration from a long day. Everything BW said was true and hopper had dropped the ball and not paid BW. The people at best western were great, room was clean, location is ideal, and breakfast was good. I will choose a different way to book with BW again in the future.
There is no elevator which makes getting luggage to the room very difficult. There are no luggage carts or anything to help. The mini fridge doesn't have a freezer area. Uselessly large area of what you to be used for something else.
I booked here because it was convenient to my destination. There is no elevator so you have to lug your things up 2 flights of stairs. The stairways were in serious need of cleaning. The shower had mildew/mold in the caulking, Breakfast was okay if you had eggs, pancakes or bagels. The public bathroom needed serious attention.
Rooms were clean as was the lobby. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good and hot. The king suites are like a one bedroom apartment, which is really nice, but they are in a separate building so if you have others with you in a regular room that was a little difficult. And, there are no elevators.
This was a great hotel. It was clean and comfortable and looked inviting from the outside. We appreciated the 2 King beds (rare to find!) and the nice morning breakfast. This was in a safe area and will certainly make us look at Best Western properties in the future. We used the fitness center and wifi with no problems. Thank you for a great stay!
I would recommend this hotel to stay in. I had a great experience with everyone at the front desk to the nice clean rooms and comfy bed. They offered a complimentary breakfast as well with lots of options. Great price for the location! Will be staying here again when I travel the next couple of months.
Clean, affordable, near shops, friendly staff, great breakfast . The room was large, had microwave, keurig, fridge. Cozy living room, spacious bed, ample closet, awesome shower. Breakfast was delicious. Staff friendly .
Quiet, clean, cool, great staff all very friendly, i dont have anything bad to say. :) We didnt realize there was no elevator for access, but since we didnt request an accessible room, that is on us. great property safe area quick trip to downtown nashville
4th time at this location. This one was horrible. There were two lights out in the room and we could not get them replaced. The cable die not work. They told us they were busy and to check the cables to see if they were loose. No one ever came. The air was broken and would run until it was freezing and then shut off for half hour or so and the room became very hot and would then kick on again. The bath tub was stopped up and we stood in 7-8 inches of dirty water to take a shower. Breakfast was just the icing on the cake. The eggs were water and tasteless and the sausage was dried out. When I went and spoke to the desk in the morning to complain about the problems and no one ever coming to fix anything and refusing to move us, I was told, "Sorry you are not happy with your stay." This used to be a very nice place. We had stayed there several times when it was operated by another company as well. Never again. Just avoid this place!
Although I haven't stayed in a hotel in years and felt somewhat awkward about it, I was surprised to feel at home from my first step in until we drove away. The young man at the desk was pleasant and even laughed at my joking. Other staff were also friendly and seemed glad to see me. The room was comfortable, and I felt relaxed and safe.
I had booked through Hopper and needed to change hotels due to unforeseen work issue. The hotel was without understanding! They would not discuss with hopper customer service or myself. I stay in the area multiple times a month and will not use this hotel again due to the unwillingness to negotiate!
The staff was incredibly friendly from check in to check out. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast had plenty of options. The hotel had easy access to the highway, which made getting around town super easy. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
We enjoyed our stay. Our king-bed room turned out to be a two-room suite. Room was well appointed and clean. Internet was fast. Breakfast service offered quality variety in a spotless dining area. Friendly staff. However, other common areas were dirty. Overlook that, and we had a great stay.
Just south of Nashville, we enjoyed this quiet place and felt safe. The breakfast had delicious variety including biscuits and gravy with sausage and scrambled eggs. There was also bagels, English muffins, yogurt, cereal, juices, coffee, fruit, etc. very comfortable bed, central air was perfect and we could adjust to our liking. The king size suite was newly remodeled.
The hotel was recently updated/remodeled and it was very clean and attractive. Staff was nice and accommodating when I expressed concern over the lack of an elevator to reach my 2nd floor room. They immediately found a room on the first floor for me. NOTE: this hotel has 2 floors, no elevator nor luggage carts. First floor rooms require access via a short flight of 3 or 4 steps while 2nd floor is a full flight of steps. I did not realize this when I made the reservation and I have a bad knee that requires use of a handrail when going up or down steps. I had 3 items to carry requiring me to make 3 trips. But it wasn't that bad and they moved me to a first floor room as soon as I expressed concerns. Aside from that minor glich, everything was perfect!! And the value for the price was excellent!!
Overall this is a nice place to stay but the prices are high for what you get. The suite is overpriced and outdated. The carpet on the staircase is gross and should probably be replaced. The regular room was fine and the breakfast was great.
We enjoyed a quiet, comfy, 2-night stay. Delivered exactly what we wanted: quick, easy access to downtown Nashville but a budget-friendly rate, including free parking, and none of the hassle of staying there. Staff was friendly and helpful when we requested extra towels and blanket and when we made our reservation by phone directly with the hotel. We saw and a train outside upon arrival and worried we had made a "My Cousin Vinny" mistake, but thankfully we never heard one inside. NO POOL. NO ELEVATOR.
This hotel was the best I have stayed in, in a long time. Had a suite with livingroom/kitchen and separate bedroom and bathroom. Very cute and boutique like. The interior designer did an exceptional job. Quiet inside. Felt safe and secure. Great location.
The hotel is in a nice area with restaurants close by, traffic is abysmal. The rooms are a bit dated and rushed to be completed on their face lifts as things are not done right. The day staff is nice and helpful, night staff needs help. Parking is tight and can be an issue as the hotel gets up to capacity on rooms.
Whoever now runs or owns this Best Western has either run out of money or just forgot to finish what they started. Furniture in rooms are terrible like crates covered with vinyl. Windows were left open in temperatures of mid teens outside and fireplace had cardboard covering the entire glass area.
This was a great place to stay and I will return. There was a minor issue during my stay and the manager went above and beyond fix things for me. Good location. Easy freeway access. Restaurants and other services are close by. Convenient to Maryland Farms.
I was nervous as some reviews where not good. I was amazed at how nice the hotel was. We enjoyed the room it was clean. The bed was comfortable and plenty of tv options. The breakfast looked good and plenty of options.
From the time we checked in til we checked out the staff was great. hotel was clean. Breakfast was delicious. will stay here everytime in Nashville. The only draw back was no elevator. If there had been an elevator this would have been kinda like heaven.
Great customer service! We ended up needing to stay longer than expected. The front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The rooms were clean, and the beds very comfortable.
Very sloppy room renovation. Sink in bathroom moved but old pipes not taken out. Peeling paint. Molding does not reach floor. Super loud HVAC. On the plus side room was spacious (kids above us running back and forth). Hot breakfast with make your own pancakes was pretty good. Pleasant dining room. .
After staying at a horrible hotel nearby by we chose this one for our next trip. It was a very nice hotel. Clean, great breakfast selection with good coffee. We actually had soap in our bathroom! Staff were very friendly and the beds were comfy and sheets soft. Rooms are very nice and bathrooms clean.
Pros :Check in and out went extremely quick. Cons: the top hinge was coming off the door. Every footstep the room above me made could be heard with this awful creak. Shower was leaking water. Refrigerator was set at the highest setting which busted all my drinks
stayed). It was very clean, affordable, the beds were comfortable, there was lots of hot water, internet connection was good and the daily breakfast selection was great. The staff was very friendly, helpful and supportive. The hotel was close to Cool Springs, Belle Meade, Franklin and access to the interstate was easy. This hotel is an excellent value for the price; I will stay there again.
I needed a resonably priced hotel for a 1 day stay for a concert in Franklin, TN. I really didn't want to stay in Franklin, but wanted to stay in an area where I wouldn't have to drive far to enjoy other places in Nashville. When I arrived at the Best Western in Brentwood, TN, I was pleasantly surprised and the amount of space I had. There was a living roon and small kitchenette with a dining table . The living room area had a let out couch and TV and the bedroom had two queen size beds with the tv as well. The perfect amount of space for a family. The beds were very comforatable as well. I will definitely book this hotel again for anytime I need to travel back to Nashville. The room was quiet aa well. There were several small buildings that housed about six rooms in each building (maybe more). The only thing I would change is to have the ice machine an vending avialable in each building rather than having to go to the main building where check-in takes place to access snacks and ice. Other than that, everything else was perfect for what I needed.
Very impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Felt very safe from COVID! Beds are high...but very comfortable! We had special needs and called in advance to arrange those, and was accommodated on every one. Loved the breakfast offered. Staff was extremely friendly. Very quite in our room...could not hear nearby railroad or interstate...only the pattering of some children's feet on the floor above us for a short time. The toilet was a bit wobbly, but we reported that to the front desk as we were leaving and they assured us that it would be fixed that day. No one in a wheel chair would want to use this room because the walk-in/roll-in shower doesn't have a hand held device, but was high enough for a very tall person. We really loved the seclusion of this motel and felt very at home. Will definitely stay here again!
Just a great place to stay easy access to dining and shopping, 5 star breakfast. True 1 bedroom suite 2 TVs large living space, the sofa/bed was to high and hard and room had an odor. Staff was outstanding cared about our health and safety. Even with minor negatives I recommend great value.
I recently spent a night at the Best Western Brentwood, TN. First, be aware that charges for the hotel will show up on your credit card as Brentwood Suites (which is the name of another hotel a few miles away). I got an alert when I checked that a charge had hit my credit card. I looked at the alert and it had the name of a different hotel. No one at the front desk, I asked two different people at two different times, could explain this. The hotel is older and really needs updating. While my room was clean the peeling baseboard and older dark walls made it feel dirty. There once only one basic hard chair in the room in area which clearly once had a game table with several chairs. The breakfast was pretty good. Hot foods and lots of choices. The staff was nice but could use some additional training. For the cost of the room, I have stayed at other hotels in the area at a similar price that were nicer. If you look at some of my other reviews, I probably lean towards giving the benefit of the doubt. But this place really disappinted me.
I arrived at the front desk at 11:00pm checked in. Was given two key cards to building 2. The card did not open the door to building 2. I went back to the desk and told the front desk manager the door doesn't work The night manager came and tried to open the door it didn't work for him either he said what did you do? I asked for a different room and he assigned me 402 he came and opened the door an pointed up the stairs and said the room is up there. Arriba. I tried the keys neither worked, back to the front desk. He came back with me and tried my keys and his master key none of them worked. I went back to the front desk with him and as we walked back he again accuse me of doing something to the door. He further accused me of sneaking someone into the room 402 and 202 having them lock the door from the inside and trying to get another room for free for myself. I asked him to refund my money and I would walk across the street to Holiday Inn. He refused to refund my payment. I asked for any room that had a door that opened. He told me the rooms where not good like the one I paid for. I asked him to adjust the price he said he could not. The door to 105 opened and I am in the room. I asked him if BEST WESTERN trained him to accuse their paying guest of sneaking people into room. He said I could have done that, he has had it happen to him before. Summary worst check in experience I have ever had. Will not make the mistake of staying at a best western again.
Attempt to cancel our reservation due to daughter having a ear infection after speaking to corporate office .they said we had to speak to owner and he was absolutely no help at all to cancel the reservation . He was very rude and non cooperative and heart less..if you have family forget him. He also said we should of canceled sooner but apparently he does not have kids and these things can't be foresee...200 down the drain.
Amazing experience, everyone was pleasant! The service was great, the suite was nice and the breakfast was even better! The hotel wasnt too far from where I was traveling. I'd definitely stay again!!!
We stopped here on our way down to Florida. Clean. Rooms and hall appeared to be recently updated. Sorry conditioner worked well. Only concern was that the parking way very limited - the employee basically made a spot for us. But we were also traveling when it was fully booked. Also... They charge you an extra $20 for a rollaway, which I thought was unusual. Otherwise good for the $. Would stay here again.
This hotel is not worth the money. It is quite literally falling apart. The lobby has missing border pieces on the stairs, the hallway had debris all over it that hadn't been vacuumed in forever. The rooms were worse. One room had old, wet towels from a previous guest, the other had light fixtures hanging from the ceiling instead of affixed properly. There is no elevator for a multi-story hotel, so hope you don't need it like we did. Overall very poor experience.
The look was very old-school Tennessee, but the interior of the rooms were pretty modern an interesting. The best part was reception at the front desk. Gabriel was professional and personable and very quick with getting us checked in. Best value of our week-long trip.
Easily accessible to the interstate. Walking distance to Target and Waffle House. 10-30 minutes driving time to fun activities. Very quiet area. No elevator. Bathroom shower does not have a soap dish.
Rooms stated “refurbished”….. thought that would be good….. pictures were deceiving! They have been redone but other everything cheap and half way. The kitchenette is still from 2000…. Thank goodness we didn't need it, it was gross! Hair in the refrigerator, stove needed to be trash, gross! The shower is a joke!! It makes no sense whatsoever! Not a towel rack to be found! Decor is dark and cheap and depressing! Bedding feels 10 years old! If it had not been 10pm when we checked in, we would have left and gone somewhere else! I wanted to drive home 3 hours and just get out, but my husband was tired! Booked the suite thinking it would be nicer so I would hate to see a regular room! I'm not a picky person, but I do expect to get at least what I pay for….. this was more like truck stop Motel 6. Not even a paper cup in the room to fill the iron with water. I've stayed at Days Inn before and it blew this place away! Not happy! Feel ripped off! Never again!
This is a beautiful hotel. We had a suite, wish we could have stayed longer. It was super clean, quiet, close to the freeway and to Downtown Nashville. I have no complaints. We had a suite and it was so spacious and completely up to date!
Nice hotel. Rooms were clean. Staff was pleasant. Grab and go breakfast was from 6 to 9 but nothing left but coffee and juice by 8:45 when I went down. Like most Best Westerns, this seems like an old place that's been renovated. The chain isn't what it used to be.
Room was nice and the bed comfortable but we could hear everything from the room above us and nearby interstate. NO BREAKFAST and no warning of that. Staff would not give us additional coffee for room
Older facility but our room was a recent remodeled fireplace suite that was very spacious. New laminate flooring in the kitchenette/living room area. Nice high-top table with bar stools for eating. Kitchenette lacked a small sink which would have been nice for making coffee or washing up after eating. New modern sofa/sleeper and other furniture in separate entertaining area. Should have instructions on how to operate the heat or air for the room. Bath room had impressive looking shower with a rain shower head and 1/2 permanent stationary door glass door, however shower area was lacking proper shelving for shampoo, body wash etc (too small of a corner shelf). Also needs hooks for towels on wall close to shower. I did notice water leaking from 1/2 glass closure unto the floor while showering, beware this could cause water damage to flooring in future. Separate new modern bathroom sink area between toilet/shower room with door and wardrobe close but was lacking a hair dryer for guest use. Over all very impressed.
I travel frequently, and this is one of the less than good hotels. I'm not a fan of having to cook in the bathroom, especially when there is room OUTSIDE of the bathroom. During my stay, I encountered SEVERAL "stink bugs" above the bathroom sink plastic covered sectioned light fixture. I "disposed" of 1-2 per day. Beware of the ice machine, as I found SEVERAL pieces of mold/bacteria. I used ziploc bags, then chilled my items that way. They changed water heaters starting around 8am, did not complete until 5:30, 6pm that evening. NO water between those times. The renovation look as if a "friend/relative/do it yourselfer did them. I hope a real professional did not do them. If you have heavy or several pieces of luggage, be aware. There is NO ELEVATOR !!. ASK FOR A SUITE, or chose the Holiday Inn across the street !!
We love this hotel and have stayed here 10+ times for local swim meets over the past 6 years. The suites are perfect for an extended stay as they are spacious, clean, and safe. The hotel is located next door to Panera and Target so that's convenient as well. The employees are great and fast to help with any questions or needs. We highly recommend.
Was surprised upon checking in to find that it was a two room spacious suite with a separate bedroom. The living area was huge and appeared to be a converted one room apartment. Newly remodeled and very nicely appointed. Had a seperate tv in the bedroom and since bedroom had a door was nice for privacy.
This motel was clean and friendly. Housekeeping was so nice along with front desk. We had concerns traveling during covid but everyone was wearing masks and so nice. Brown bag breakfast was offered. Motel in walking distance of Target Panera Bread Waffle House Cold Stone Creamery. Short drive to zoo and downtown. I was pleased with my choice for quality and price. The beds were so comfortable!!!
Great Transit place to stay with car parking for an RV. Location excellent. Spacious rooms with Rustic corridors that give an old skool glam. Wilton gave us a great rate thank you Wilton and Ross was on point in making us feel at home. Definitely recommend and would stay again.
Well stayed in the 3rd bldg and it was like staying in a 1 bedroom apartment . Had some good quality too it and some things that need to be changed. The #1 thing that needs to be fixed asap is the bent pipe for the shower head making you have to get up against the wall just to shower (see photo) # 2 is the unusable fire place with a 3way ext cord sticking through the inside wall and an actual chimney that you cannot close letting the bugs in and making the hvac work harder to cool the room with that being said change the air filters in ALL the rooms cause they need it and unlock the inputs on the TV so people can hook up gaming, streaming, or Blu-ray players to them other than that everything here is great the good out weighs the bad and this is one of the nicer buildings here and I give this place a 4 out of 5 and recommend this Hotel cause it's one of the better ones in the Nashville area for the price
Our stay was restful, hotel was peaceful and quiet. Service was good, room was quite large and clean. Great location, near shops and restaurants. Parking was a little tight, but tolerable. Hotel served breakfast in a bag due to Covid-19, which was understandable. Check-in and check-out was a breeze, the front desk service was very friendly.
Great location, South of downtown Nashville, 7 hours next day gets you to Destin, with a 10 minute backup at the Mid Bay bridge. Arrive at check in by 3. Highly recommended! Good restaurants at the exit, nice hotel.
Website pictures are fake. No fireplace, bookcase. Curtains in bedroom a thin white and the darkening curtains don't even close...under sofa bed really gross...people don't stay here....no parking either
Room 101 thermostat broken. Room 113 window broken, not closing or locking. Smoke or fire broke out in laundry room. Alarm went off but fire department not alerted. No apologies offered. Breakfast good.
First problem we noticed was the water. Cold water didn't work at all until hot water was running out. Couldn't wash hands in the sink without scalding our hands and the shower was super hot for beginning and then freezing cold if you took longer than 15 minutes. Then we found a random pill on the floor by the dresser and a cockroach in the bathroom the morning we left. Decided not to attempt the breakfast
We came into town for a sad occasion my brother passed and we were there for his memorial service. Our flight arrived earlier than our check-in time we were tired and emotionally distraught. Joshua at the front desk was extremely compassionate and got us checked in early. That meant so much to our family in light of what we were going through in the moment. The staff was great and attentive to our needs the hotel is conveniently located near just about everything. We will definitely stay if we are in the area again.
Super clean. Beds and pillows are super comfortable. All amenities are there. View isn't the best considering it's under the interstate. Breakfast was fantastic! Definitely recommend staying here. 15-20 minutes from downtown Nashville with plenty of options in Brentwood as well for shopping and relaxing.
The hotel was being renovated but it wasn't a big deal. Very professional and responsive staff. Clean, comfy and fantastic location. There is a Target and Panera Bread across the street. I look forward to staying again.
Had 2 rooms reserved, no problem. Left to be with family attending a funeral to return about 11:00. No place to park. Finally found one squeezed in beside a construction trailer. Room very outdated. A new experience to find the refrigerator and microwave in the bathroom. If you like hockey puck biscuits, this breakfast is for you! If you are desperate, book this motel. Otherwise, move on!
Room was run down and old. Booked a room with two king beds when we got to the room they were queens. Was late and already I lost so we dealt with it. No hot water after first shower. Construction everywhere. No parking. Helpful staff.
This location is under inside renovations, so probably had limited rooms & parking spots available (our room was spacious with two king beds!) Furthermore, we were NOT disturbed by any construction, if there was any. Unfortunately, no elevator in the main building and shocked to see that in the week we stayed the stairwell carpet was NEVER vacuumed. The building's side entrance implied safety with hotel card reader and sign, but the doors were open and available for any intruder at anytime of the night! Toilets both in room and in the general area were clogged a few times, low flow toilets and one-ply paper, ugh! Room service for cleaning was a bit inconsistent, appeared to have not been visited for a day or two. We stayed out late so we did not benefit from the free breakfasts daily. Although biscuits & gravy, and ability to make breakfast sandwiches were a nice touch, the other offerings were average. We elected to have later breakfasts at nearby Waffle House and Panera Bread. Location was very convenient and happily located next to a Target! We bought from Target the Charmin and softer Kleenex! The hotel is located near an underpass and close to a railroad, but we were not bothered by the low hum of the passing trains. Sorry for the poor rating, hope that these are areas that will improve before someone's next visit to Brentwood, TN!
Look twice. Take pictures. Report immediately and upon check out. This Best Western is under remodel. Take pictures. Easy travel access. Opry/Ryman 7.2 MI away. Close eating establishments. You can walk but look twice before crossing the street. Waffle House, Panera Bread, Longhorn Steak house, and Coldstone Ice cream Creamery very close.
This hotel is currently under rehab. Never should have been allowed to deteriorate to it's condition. Rehab appears to be less that professional and will not improve to a standard that I would stay in again. Room and building were dirty. Room service finally came by at 4:45 in the afternoon. Observed staff throwing towels and bedding into the halls on the floor before gathering them up. Unacceptable.
While it looked like it was recently renovated and construction material and dumpster were in the parking lot; the room smelled of dust and the bathroom had mold on the wall and tiles. The employees were very, very nice and worked hard to make the facility successful. Hopefully it will be habitable in the future.
Spent 5 days in this property recently and despite some minor issues, it was terrific for our purposes. The hotel is in a nice area south of Nashville and is easily reached from I-65. Trips into Nashville were quick and easy, though we did this mostly off rush hour. The location of the hotel does lend itself to alternative surface road trips to downtown and the surrounding areas. The property is within safe/easy walking distance of several restaurants and a Target store. On site parking is adequate, but tight due to space taken up by construction supply trailers, etc, related to an ongoing renovation of the hotel. There was no intrusive construction noise. The mainline of the CSX railroad is nearby and you can hear the rumble of the frequent trains, but we never found it intrusive and actually somewhat pleasant. There's a nearby highway ramp, too, but never heard anything annoying from that either. The place consists of 4 2-story buildings- 3 in a row and the one we were in across the lot. The main building has apparently already been renovated as the front desk area, lobby, and breakfast area were clean and new in appearance. The “business center” is a small desk in the lobby with a PC and printer. The breakfast area is attractive, well lit, windows, and even a gas fireplace. The morning fare was just fine, the usual stuff, plus supplies to build your own breakfast sandwich- a nice touch. As most of our activities on this trip were late evening, we only made the tight 6-9 AM schedule a couple of times. Our building consisted of 8 two-room indoor access suites, plus the fitness center. Room key is required at the main entry door. Four of the suites are up a benign flight of stairs, but there is no elevator. Our building had not yet been renovated and was clearly showing its age with peeling paint, water leak spots, bathroom mold, a tricky sometimes run-on toilet, quirky (but ultimately OK) heat and tired carpet. HOWEVER, despite these cosmetics, our room was spacious and overall very attractive with a large sitting room with sofa, upholstered chair, tables, built in bookcase, lamps, TV, and an electric heater/fireplace with simulated flames (I suspect it was once a real gas FP). Open to this area was a generous “kitchen” area with two (!) fridges, two counters, cabinets, a microwave, a small sink, a table and work chair and a Keurig coffee maker. We used the FP to help heat the room and having the “fire”, lamp light, easy chair, and TV were great after a long day tramping around Music City. Thru a door off the “living room” was our two queen bedroom with another TV, small balcony window, walk in closet, vanity and sink, separate bath with another sink and a linen closet! We only had one remote, but it did work both TVs. This ended up being perfect accommodations for us with one night owl staying up working after the other went to bed, plus offering us plenty of relaxing space for our tiring 5 day business/pleasure stay. Thus, we easily forgave the cosmetics. As to staff, the front desk personnel were nice, and quite helpful when needed, though at times were MIA. A couple of times when we asked for more coffee pods or more TP, they were quick to help and gracious in doing so. We never saw our housekeeper and a couple of days had no service as apparently the staff does this very early in the morning and were frustrated by our out late/sleep late/ back out by 11 am hours. Curiously, one day we did receive service, but the cash tip left on the night stand was not taken, and oddly, a used coffee pod was placed in the rack by the Keurig. Not my usual housekeeping experience... All told, we really enjoyed our stay here despite the cosmetic issues and housekeeping quirks. It turned out to be a perfect location for our travels in the area, grabbing a quick meal with out going back out by car, and with a great room layout so that we felt as if we were in an apartment rather than a hotel, and compared to downtown, at a very benign price. We'll be back if our travels take us there again.
Dirty and unkempt room. There was mold on almost every surface in the bathroom along with no toilet papers and used bars of soap on the counter and in the bath. When i contacted the front desk about the issues i was told that most of their guests have no issues and know what to expect from this location. They refused to change my room and or refund my money.
Didn't have the best time at this hotel at all. The bathroom has MOLD in it, and the lights fixture wasn't working in some area. My beds wan't made up right!! The sheets were NOT changed at all!! I don't thing I could do this again
The hotel is not as graceful as the pics portrayed. It has multilevel buildings with no elevators and little access for handicapped. The ramps to the walks to the extended buildings were covered by a transport trailer used for trash while remodeling. My husband asked the manager to swap the room and he said the only room available was a smaller room than the suite we reserved and it was more money than the suite. He ended up making it even and we were tired, so we stayed. The only way inside that building for h/c was a tiny path thru the smoking area surrounded by tall shrubs. Better take a buddy because that side door is heavy and you might stay outside a long time before someone opens the door. There are no hospitality carts I am pretty sure because the small parking lot is unlevel on a hillside, so you get to haul all your bags inside up the hill, then back down to leave. Oh, if you are not on the first floor, you can get a workout by climbing stairs with your bags. The bathroom made us laugh, but it is pitiful because I just don't prefer my coffeemaker, fridge and microwave right next to the toilet. I guess some folks like to pop their popcorn, make their coffee and use the toilet in the same room. Is that not unsanitary? We canceled the next 3 nights and found acceptable reservations elsewhere. Not trying to down Best Western in general as we have stayed at them and Best Western Plus for years off and on. This was our first negative experience.
Our room was dirty and had much black mold in the bathroom, on the windows and the french doors separating the room. Do Not stay here. We took several pictures and are deciding if we should report the issue to the Tennessee Health Department.
As soon as we got into our room, we went to bed, and once we woke up, we started to notice stains all over the place. At first, we brushed it off until we started to realize it was blood. We complained, and we were reassured that something would be done for us. We weren't able to switch room due to the hotel being full, but NO ONE even came to CLEAN the blood. Also, by the time we were told we couldn't change rooms, it was too late to find a new hotel, and even if we did, we weren't able to receive a refund because the manager was not there. So we had to sleep AGAIN in a room that had bloodstains all over it. We couldn't even sleep due to being scared that something might happen to us. The entire experience ruined our stay and would like a refund. We are utterly disgusted and feel that we were entirely miss-led via the website, booking process, and very positive feedback.
First it didn't say on their website it didn't have an elevator so I had to lug mine & my wife's luggages over 20 steps ! And then when we got into the room and looked for the fridge & microwave it was located in the BATHROOM ! Never seen this in my whole time of traveling ! Just be warned !
This hotel was a great hotel for the price that we got it. Really pretty room, awesome space, great breakfast, very clean, and great staff. Parking was easy and was easy access. The whole experience was wonderful. Only issue was security door was not working correctly.
Absolutely the worst hotel we've ever stayed in, ever! Management did not advise us in advance that the place was under construction. No elevator. No ramps, only many stairs. Not ADA compliant. Construction trash and dumpsters everywhere. Not enough parking. Furnishings were old and sparse. Filthy. Mold and mildew in shower grout. Deep tub without hand grabber bars. French doors to the outside were not secure. Even a strong child could have pushed them open. Breakfast was adequate. Bed and bedding were nice. We are reporting this facility to Best Western Hotels and to the ADA department.
It was bad enough finding out there is no elevator with 4 pcs of luggage....but then I found out lousy internet and the management blocks the input on the tv so I cant use my firestick to stream tv I know its Tennessee but how backwoods can you get
Very nice place with great and courteous people. The only problem I had with this site was that the AC in the room did not work to my satisfaction, which made it a rough night sleep. They told me that they are working on the problem and would be fixed in the next day or two. It worked just not to the level that I'm use to.
I will not stay at this property again. We were put in a building away from the mail hotel. The building was under renovation, there was no insulation between floors. We could hear every movement made above us, could not sleep. This building should not be in use until renovation is complete. I called the front desk, their response was that they would not on the door and asked them to be quiet - that wasn't the problem!! These rooms and that building should not be in use. The parking area had dumpsters, building materials etc. everywhere, I parked my car at the mail building and walked to the building where they put us! Terrible experience.
We stayed here during the state fair and it may be older but it was clean and the beds were so comfortable. We left before breakfast but I'm sure it was good, the area was very nice and clean and the lobby was very pretty.
Room was clean, but parking is an issue. Not enough spaces! When arriving in the afternoon, I didn't have any trouble parking. However, after going out to dinner, I had to park at some distance away. The rain didn't help!
The hotel was very conveniently located right off the freeway, but traffic was extremely busy getting in and out of the area. The hotel is in the process of being renovated--the lobby and breakfast areas look great and are a sampling of what the hotel will look like when completed. However, the rooms currently are in need of updating and renovating. Because of the renovation, the staff upgraded us to a suite at no charge, which was a very nice gesture. The room was clean--just needs updating.
Difficult to navigate all steps at my age and disability. Not ADA compliant. It appears to be that this place used to be apartments. We got a free upgrade (or so he said) but it used to be an apaartment.
The desk clerks are top shelf. The lobby and breakfast nook area is clean and updated. The properties exterior is very nice looking and is unique in the hotel business. Have stayed on 2 different occasions in 2 different buildings. We find it a nice location This is a decent establishment. Not a high ranking, clean room place. The rooms are large and nicely appointed. All could use a deep cleaning with some tlc. Maybe someone's Mother-in-law could be hired to white glove the buildings...
My husband and I traveled to Nashville to attend a wedding. We stayed at the Best Western the night of May 10. There was a fire in the middle of the night. Our belongings sustained damage from the smoke and the efforts of the fire fighters. We have been attempting for 2 months to make a claim with the insurance company to reimburse us for our losses. We have contacted Gabriel Reubens (the General Manager) on numerous occasions. Although at first he said we would be compensated, we have not received any reimbursement and now he will not return our phone calls or emails. I would stay away from this hotel as I believe the owner and management are dishonest.
Way overpriced for a property that needs a complete renovation. It's a Best Western and NOT a Best Western PLUS. $137 a night was a complete rip-off. Rooms, halls and stairs cases were shouting for an upgrade. Horrible carpet and walls. The breakfast was typical BW breakfast buffet, nothing special. We opted for the Waffle House next door, and that was disappointing as well. We couldn't win in Brentwood. We won't stay here again. You guys ought to be ashamed for running a hotel like this and charging such high rates.
Great place to stay in Nashvlle. Safe and close to everything! Staff is extremely friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. When staying in Nashville you won't find a better place at a better price. Located across the street from restaurants and shopping.
May be ok after renovated, needed upgrades in almost every area (rrom had peeling paint, outside looked run donw, carpet needed to be cleaned, a/c made a noise all night). Positives: employees were super nice and tried to make the stay more enjoyable.
My 2nd night, the fire alarm went off quite a few times from midnight until 6am due to a water main break. No one in the hotel staff knew how to manage it. Another guest, an off-duty fireman, attempted to help but the employees had no access to any tools other than a wrench. I requested a refund for that night of my 5-night stay. I was refused. The manager has still not called me to resolve the situation. I was upgraded to a suite on check-in. However, the room, though large, was shabby and dirty. The carpeting was so grimy I used socks that turned black. I threw them away. The window sheers had long rips and the patio door was painted shut. The lock on the room door handle did work, but the security lock was missing. The microwave was dirty, the cupboards and drawers of vanity and sink areas were sealed shut, but not washed clean. The bedroom door was broken, though it did close. There's a long flight of stairs, no lift, to room 404. Those stairs are shabby & filthy. The security door to enter the building does not remain closed. Extremely disappointed in the lack of cleanliness and the fact that no one has resolved the problem of no sleep the night of the alarms. I appreciated the breakfast having eggs & cheerios for gluten-free.
We only stayed one night. We arrived and had to wait ten minutes to check in because the front desk girl was on a break. The room had mold spots in the bathroom and the whole thing felt dirty. The rooms are in old buildings and there wasn't an elevator in the building we stayed in. The room was large. It was a suite with a full living room area, kitchenette, and a separate bedroom. The closet was very large with plenty of room to hang clothes or store luggage. The light in the refrigerator was burned out. There were TV's in the living room and bedroom. It smelled like the stuff they put down when someone pukes on a school bus. I don't have very many good things to say. It all felt very dirty and in disrepair. The carpet and tile was all dingy. The carpet on the stairs leading up to our room was just laid on the stairs and was unfinished. The ice and vending machines weren't in the building we stayed in. I would have had to go across the parking lot to get those things and it was raining. It wasn't a pleasant stay. We won't be returning.
This was the worst room I've ever stayed in. The outside looks great, but our room was like a dungeon with the glass doors covered on the outside with dark boards or a tarp perhaps. There was no sound on the tv and electrical cords running from the fake fireplace across the floor. The bedroom had no pictures, just holes where they once where. The window coverings were a combo of broken metal blinds and black out shades. A water line ran through the closet. The closet was made up of shelves that were just raw plywood. The hallway smelled of sewage, but I was told that was because we were right next to the restrooms. Ummm, shouldn't smell. While all other outside doors required key access, ours had the handle and lock removed allowing anyone to call me or go as they pleased. Perhaps to use the restroom. Gabriel saw nothing wrong with any of the his and stated we should have said something earlier. Actually we did, but no one seemed to care and still didn't.
This hotel is a great place to stay when staying in the Nashville, Tennessee area. It is just south of Nashville and is a 15 minute drive to downtown Nashville (Broadway Ave., Ryman Auditorium, Bridgestone Arena). The staff is courteous and friendly. Gabriel, the hotel manger, is a pleasure to work with. He is very professional and courteous. The room - a suite with (2) queen beds - was clean and the beds were so-o-o-o-o comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here when in Nashville.
It looks like a quaint place to stay. However, they really need to work on the cleanliness of the rooms. The room I got felt musty and needed a real good deep clean. Upon pulling back the covers I discovered a large, segmented bug leg. I should have taken a picture but I was too grossed out and exhausted after driving for 7 hours straight to get there. Very disappointed. These rooms need a really good cleaning and maybe some updates. The curtains were heavy and you could feel the dust and grime caked into the fabric when I went to close them. Gross. I also felt very unsafe when there were two randomly locked door in my room that I couldn't enter. It makes it creepy like someone could be hiding in there. Would not recommend. Pay a bit more and stay at a nicer hotel! I am giving two stars only because the check in girl was super nice and helpful.
GM refused to honor the 15% AARP discount rate displayed on the TV at the front desk. His first question was to check the expiration date of the AARP card, as if he were looking for a reason not to honor it. He then went on to say that the reservation had to have been made through Best Western and that it only applied to participating hotels and his hotel does not participate. If you aren't going to honor the 15% discount, you shouldn't have it playing on a TV at the front desk. NOT THE PLACE FOR MY FELLOW SENIOR TRAVELERS!!! The common areas of the hotel (hallways and stairwells) were very hot and there was no elevator, so we had to haul everything up the hot stairwell.
The building caught fire in the middle of the night. We help get people out of there rooms. We were promised to be compensated and we were not. It took a long time before the fire trucks showed up. They never thanked us for getting people down from the second story.
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and everything was perfect, the room was clean and so was the toilet. The property is well kept. They have large space of free parking around the propriety and a good quality wifi. We've asked for an upper floor and they told us that there is no elevator but we prefer a quiet upper floor room, so they gave us a beautiful upper floor room. The hotel is 10/15 minutes from downtown Nashville and 10 minute from Franklin in a very clever location. Really a great experience, for sure I'll come back.
booked the hotel bc it had 2 king beds in the room, but the rest of the hotel was bad, shower was terrible (pressure and temp), dirty in the halls, same garbage on the floor for 3 days and breakfast was the same each day when i told the front desk of the shower problem they didn't even seem to care I would pass on this hotel
We loved our stay at this hotel , close to shopping centers , Target , Waffle House is right next door . Cozy hotel , very clean , delicious breakfast is included . Loved the pancake machine , I wish I had one at home . Very professional great service by Gabriel ! Thank you for making our small get away a wonderful experience. I will stay at this hotel again. 10-15 min uber ride to downtown Nashville and Franklin . Definitely recommend this hotel !
Toilet flush arm broke and was not repaired until 2nd reqest, the next afternoon. Towel replacement uneven. Carpeted stairs needed daily vacuuming but were not. Otherwise very nice stay, quiet, great location.
We have stayed here before traveling to and from the Gulf Coast. In the past, I don't think we have had any problems....it is one of those "good for one night" type of properties. On our most recent stay, I was disappointed with the entry and hallway by our room...it had not been vacuumed or cleaned for some time...also, the exterior door could be left open without much effort. Our room had plenty of room ... not much in the way of furniture..the biggest problem was either a musty smell or animal dander in the room...my eyes are very sensitive to this and they itched for a day after we left. On the positive side, Monica checked us in and made friends with my granddaughter...which, of course, counts big time. Also, the bed and mattress were super comfortable...one of the most comfortable hotel mattresses I have ever slept on! So, all in all...not a bad night's stay and saved some $$ compared to the big name brands closeby ... just wish they would clean the place up and air out the rooms.
The hotel was wonderful! VERY roomy and had space for privacy. Monica and Sandy were WONDERFUL -- very accommodating - never once did they remove their smiles! We will definitely stay here again when in that area again! I have been in customer service all of my life and I find that this hotel went OVER AND BEYOND in every aspect of customer service! Can't say enough good about them!
Heat did not work. Smelled like smoke and mildew. Outdated. Nobody fixed the heat. Nobody moved me to another room or offered to give me a credit for the bad stay. Breakfast was decent. Served from six til nine.
Room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower pressure was great! Kind of surprised that fridge and microwave were located in bathroom v gross. They could have just as easily been in the closet. Limited parking. Breakfast was good.
DO NOT STAY HERE. The room was disgusting, had to leave before we planned to. Mold in the bathroom. Breakfast was disgusting. We stayed here, outside of downtown to save a few dollars, it was not worth it. We spent the money the next night at a nice and clean hotel.
The hotel staff was friendly, the beds were very comfortable, our shower water did get very hot at times, our toilet had a very weak flush. The shower had some mold but, the curtain was clean. The outside door downstairs was broke & didn't lock or stay closed, (These same complaints are also made by other guests) The staff was nice. Our second room smelled from air freshener so they gave us a fan. The temperature of our room was nice. The building is very pretty. Breakfast was your standard hotel free breakfast with a nice variety.
The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and the hotel is conveniently located. However, halls and stairs were dirty/never vacuumed; exterior doors didn't function properly. Right next to a highway and train tracks, so there is a lot of noise. Also, no elevator -- only stairs so had to lug heavy belongings up a steep flight.
Our second room smelled very strong from airfreshner, hotel gave us a fan to air it out, beds and pillows were very comfortable in both rooms, , 2nd room air/heat was hard to get it to hold temperature, our toliet had a very slow/weak flush, rooms were clean just some mildew on our shower walls, We wouid consider staying here again . Roooms couild use a little updating with new cabinets.and carpet. Otherwise they were nice.
Booked this hotel for our return trip from Gulf Shores. Kind of cool the way its layed out. 4 buildings instead of 4 floors. The room was clean, bed was nice if you like firm mattresses. The couch was comfy to sit on. Hotel desk staff were both very nice on check in and check out. We didn't interact with anyone else there. We didn't get up in time for breakfast which ends at 9, I really think hotels should have breakfast till 11. Nice hot shower with good water pressure. The fridge and microwave were in the bathroom which seems odd to me but oh well. The fridge was big for a hotel fridge. Enough room for us to freeze our Chinese take out leftovers. If you stay here order Chinese from No 1 Chinese and have door dash deliver it. As sketchy as No 1 Chinese sounds, it was as good as the reviews say it is.
I have stayed at a Best Western a couple of times within the past 6 months and both stays were extremely nice and comfortable. When I travel I like nice and Best Western did not let me down! I usually stay at a competitor but because of BW rates I thought I would give it a try! Think I've found a new favorite place to stay while i'm away from home!!
I stayed at this hotel one night after taking some students to the airport. There is a non interstate route from the airport. The location is great. There is a Panera Bread and Target across the street and a Waffle House next door. The neighborhood of Brentwood seems safe. I received an upgraded suite which was very spacious. It has a living room with a fireplace. The balcony was locked which was disappointing but did allow for more natural light. The breakfast was typical. There were large televisions in room and separate living room and beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay again.
Very clean rooms and an exttremely friendly staff. You definitely get that southern hospitality at this location. Would recommend for a safe, friendly, affordable place to stay while visiting Nashville.
a wonder and very helpful hotel to stay at. the staff was excellent. they held our room for us and let us remain an extra night due to car problems we during our trip to the hotel. all people were very nice to us as strangers in the area. we really enjoyed our stay.
My wife and I stayed one night at the Best Western Brentwood. The hotel is older but has what it looks like recent updates. Hotel was located close to eating places and a strip mall. We did not use any of the other hotel facilities other than we ate the breakfast that was included. Breakfast was good and there were many choices both hot and cold. Now for my concern. We needed to plug in a C-Pap machine near one of the beds. The only outlet close was already being used. I pulled the mattress back on both beds to find an outlet behind each mattress. The problem was neither outlet had a cover plate. I see that as an electrical hazard and something that needs correcting. The cover plates cost about .70 cents each and I assume was an oversight when the room was renovated? I notified the front desk upon checking out and I was assured the problem would be addressed. I have attached a picture.
This was a last minute trip, got an excellent rate, especially being a holiday, I was expecting a regular room.... it was a 2 room suite. Very clean and super nice! Breakfast was very good too! Will DEFINITELY be staying there again on our next trip up.
We couldn't even get into our room without a huge group of men shuffling behind and beside us like we are in the steerage level of the titanic. Gross clientele. This place is just filled to the brim with dudes. Old building with tight parking lot on a hill. Not wheelchair accessible. Terrible check in. Neither of the two employees at the desk acknowledged me upon arrival. The hallways are tight and there are tons of people talking loudly in the hallway. I would not stay here again. And after a few other bad experiences with best western recently I will reconsider staying with this brand all together in the future. You guys just lost a loyal customer that has used you for years.
Great rate for the area. Hotel was clean and staff were very warm and welcoming. Just outside of downtown Nashville. Within 15 minutes of the majority of the sights and attractions in the area. Only “complaint” would be have the breakfast stay open till 10 vs 9 for us night owls that like to sleep in. Would defiantly stay again.
We stayed here before a Titans game. The location was very convenient to downtown. The buildings are nice inside and out. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The breakfast area was very modern and offered a great selection of hot foods. I would highly recommend this location for your stay in Nashville. The only difficult thing about this location is accessing it after you have exited from interstate 65 south. When the traffic is heavy, you have to cut across several lanes in a short span in order to turn into the road where the property is located.
Beautiful place. Clean comfortable beds, rooms are nice size. Great price. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast selection. Rooms have fridge and microwave. Free parking. Close to shopping and restaurants.
We loved our stay - perfect location outside of Nashville. Uber pricing wasn't bad to and from Nashville. Everything we needed was near our hotel - area was nice. Hotel staff was friendly. Comfy and clean room.
Booked this place very last second as we drive down to the area for a funeral. We didn't check in until 230 am and were exhausted after driving all day. The woman at the desk (Becky) was SO friendly, and even upgraded us to a suite. She was incredibly nice. The room itself was spacious, clean and just what we needed. Beds were comfy, two sinks, it was great. The breakfast was also very good. And for the price, it was a bargain. Would definitely recommend.
Our stay was very nice. The room was very clean, comfortable, roomy. The staff was very friendly, kind, helpful. The only thing that we found a little challenging was the hot water lasted about 4-5 minutes with showers. Nothing we couldn't deal with but a little challenging to wash hair, body and shave
Reception staff exceptional, knowledgable and very helpful. Room large, clean, but in dire need of update. Breakfast ok, hot and cold, but not enough seating, its not too good when you have to eat breakfast in the seating near the lobby on low lounge chairs. Just over the road from shopping area, lots of places to eat in that area. Good parking.
I pre-paid for a room at BW for my adult son and his partner who flew in to Nashville to attend a family wedding in Brentwood. My husband and I were staying at another Brentwood hotel a few miles away. I was present at check-in, and I made a point to go into the room to see if it was adequate. All seemed okay. Not so! The room shared a wall with the GYM! The next morning, my son and his partner were awakened at 6 a.m. from the sound of someone exercising in the gym. They asked to be switched to another room and were told it was not possible because the hotel was fully booked. I had paid for and booked this room many many weeks prior to the stay. My son and his girlfriend bought earplugs from the Target nearby, but the next morning bright and early they were awakened by what they described as “Mr. Elephant” walking around the room above theirs. I assume there is NOT adequate noise insulation if you are on the bottom floor and guests are above you. Very, very disappointing. I deeply regret paying for their room at this hotel. Too bad I relied on earlier TripAdvisor reviews that did not warn of the above. WHO designs a gym next to a hotel room? I have never in all my travels heard or seen such a thing!
Speedy check-in, the lady at the front desk was superb, thats where the good ends. Room 101 The tub surround was loaded with mold, to which we were told it was not mold. I took quite a few pictures and a video of it. I wound up buying scrubbing bubbles mold spray at target to keep it in control. You be the judge. The floor was obvously not vacuumed during our stay as the same crushed whatever it was remained beside the bed and dresser from check in to check out. If you use the ice machine on the first floor, when the ice has melted over night look in the bottom of the water and try to identify the stuff at the bottom. For what you pay here, you can stay in the Tuscan tower at the Peppermill hotel in Reno, plus its almost 2 1/2 times larger.
No stairs! If you have large bags get a lower level room. Building is tattered, carpets are dirty and rooms are just okay. Front lobby has been updated for show, breakfast room and breakfast were satisfactory once we got a staff member to help with all the appliances (auto pancake maker!) Building next door smelled very strong of pot, almost like they were growing it there! I've stayed exclusively at BW's for 20 years, this is NOT one of the better ones. Not a happy Gold Crown Member
The staff and facility were exceptional. The room was simply appointed and VERY clean. Housekeeping staff were efficient and courteous. Breakfast area was always clean with well prepared food items daily. Overall rating Fabulous. ONLY downside was inadequate parking area. The desk staff does its best to ensure that non-guests are removed as soon as possible but they can only do so much. OH, by the way; Titans beat Eagles!! TITAN UP!!!
This property is close to restaurants and shopping and yet still close to downtown Nashville. The hotel is well maintained for and is comfortable. I would stay here again if traveling in the area. Enjoy!
There is no elevator, nor are there luggage carts. I had to carry luggage upstairs with no assistance, only to discover the air didn't work. It took hours to convince the desk clerk that the air didn't work and then we had to change rooms at 2am. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS.
We go to the Tennessee State Fair every year for the hog show, and we will definitely be going back if the state fair returns next year. We have a family of 6, and the suite was almost perfect for us. We had to bring a portable bassinet for the youngest, and the other three shared a queen size bed. We were hoping that the sofa would be big enough for the oldest to sleep on it, but it's more like a loveseat than a couch. Overall, we loved this suite. The beds were comfortable, and having a door that closes between the bedroom and living room was great! A rare luxury for a great price!! And breakfast was great too!
There is not a lot of places to park. You are in a different building than where you check in. You have to climb steps due to no elevator, You are almost under the I-65 on ramp going to Nashville and the railroad tracks are are less than 1/8 mile away. Both of which you can hear all night long.
Hotel was nicely kept, the staff was very friendly and helpful with questions I had about my bill. The room was nice, even though the fridge and microwave were placed in the bathroom under the vanity - both worked well. Breakfast had a wide variety, and coffee and tea were offered at all times of the day. The staircases were a bit narrow, but this was only an issue when two sets of people wanted to use the stairs at the same time. Overall very pleased with the accommodations, especially for the price.
Excellent experience. Staff and location were great. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was presented in a way that was easy to navigate, had a number of food choices, was hot and delicious. I would stay here again.
I loved the convenience of speedy check-in / check-out process. Front desk staff was very friendly. Clean and comfortable room. Location was great because it was close to shopping and not far from Downtown Nashville. Breakfast was exceptional!
No elevator.. how could an elderly person go up the stairs if all rooms on the ground floor are occupied?? As soon as I got to the room, I wanted to take a shower and it was not working. I personally went to the lobby and was waiting for the guy at the reception to come to my room. However, I ended up waiting because he was too busy and there wasn't another person to solve the problem. Extremely bad impression!!
Old old hotel with red dirty carpets going up the stairs. No elevator so we had to lug 4 heavy suitcases up the stairs. Bathroom is old and carpet in room is old. This wouldn't be a bad place if it got major upgrades. Wouldn't stay here again. Hotel across the street looked way more upgraded.
Stayed here for one night only, and it is pretty good for a night or 2. The room was larger than expected, and it seemed clean. The bed was comfortable (except for the small pillows - glad I had my own). The bathroom was nice, but the lighting above the shower (which was actually outside the shower) was inadequate. The hallways were dirty and seemed to have been sprayed with air freshener in an effort to cover some odors. It was nice enough, but for the price I would expect more. I know the price is partly based on the location, but this one is definitely overpriced.
Bugs, smelly, old nasty hotel. Do whatever you can to avoid staying here. This place is crawling with bugs, the staff is over friendly & it needs to be leveled to the ground. We reported this unit to corporate. Not shocking, but there was no response.
The room was wonderful. It was spacious and so was the bathroom. The amenities were great. It had one of the best hot breakfasts on our trip. It was in a beautiful area and very quiet. It was a little more than we wanted to spend, but it was worth it.
Our room was in the last row of the main rooms. Our room had peeling paint in the bathroom. The toilet had to be flushed three times before everything would go down. It was quiet. Our car had a note on it. Looked like it was from someone looking for a good time ??beds were comfortable. Two anthropomorphic sinks were a plus. Easy to find. Right off freeway
I am not a fan of BW but this one is quite nice Great staff that is well trained. Excellent breakfast and nice room. Room was spacious though it's odd with microwave and fridge located in the bathroom. That seems odd and a bit gross to me Located on 65 in a nice location No elevator but otherwise good to go
I enjoyed my stay. My friend and I came down for a long weekend and all the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean with fresh towels every day. I would definitely stay there again when I am in the area. It is a ways out of Nashville but that was fine as the Uber system in Nashville is amazing. The price was right.
Remodeling while we were there. Convenient location. Proximity to I 65 not a noise concern. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by. A solid 3 1/2 stars. Largest concern was that the exterior door to the main building would not close and lock. Clean rooms and a responsive staff.
Pleasant stay. Enjoyed the quiet room. Clean. Friendly staff. A little hard to find late at night if not familiar with the area. Behind the Waffle House. Breakfast has several choices so anyone should be able to find something to eat.
They stuck me in a separate building with no elevator, no bell hop service, no vending machines, and no ice machine. There was no bottled water or drinking glasses provided in the room, so I suppose I was supposed to stick my head under the faucet to get water. I felt as though I was staying forgotten or unwanted guest area. I booked my stay nearly a year in advance, so I thought I would receive one of their prime locations -- not! I had to drag all of my 5 bags up the stairs myself since there is no elevator in the building - 3 trips up the stairs. I haven't stayed in a hotel with no elevator since I was a child during the "Howard Johnsons" motel days. Since I was in a separate building, I would have to cross the steep parking lot to access any of the hotel's "amenities" such as free breakfast. It's not worth crossing the parking lot in downpour (which it was on two of my three mornings there) to get a free bagel. This poor room location colored by entire experience at the hotel. I don't even know if there was a pool or other amenities since I felt isolated in this remote location. The parking lot is on a steep hill that doesn't seem to have enought parking spots. I wrote a lengthy review a few minutes ago, but when I hit "Submit" it gave an error. Perhaps they didn't like my answers.
Nice clean hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast available with good variety and well presented. The hotel was 17 minutes from the Opry and other attractions. There are no elevators at this location but only two floors and easy access to rooms.
do not stay here if you want a place to park your vehicle. i reported this each night; and was told they do have a parking problem, just have to deal with it. there are many steps and stairs to climb, and i was on ground level.. the breakfast was terrible; all microwaved and over cooked and cold. toilet in our bathroom remained broken even after reporting it at check in and 3x after that; had to flush it 3 and 4 times to empty. left no extra coffee for coffee maker and no extra toilet tissue. had to go to office to get it myself , because the clerk was alone and had no help to send it to my room. this was at night. Kleenex tissue was thin and very small pieces. wall plug in socket in bedroom was falling into the wall and there was exposed wires.
Very Nice place to spend a night passing thru Nashville. We were happy with overall experience. Nice friendly people, clean and well kept hotel. Small hotel which made it easy to get around. The rate is very reasonable for the quality of motel. We enjoyed the pillows, comfortable and soft. I would stay there again given the chance to be back in the Nashville area.
Security felt great. You have to use your key to enter your building before using it to enter your suite. We had a very large living area with a mini kitchen. Beds were comfortable and there was a double sink. Breakfast starts at 6:00 and is both hot and cold. This location is 15 minutes from downtown Nashville. A great way to save some money while visiting the city. Prices are reasonable.
We stopped here passing thru because it was a best western....wow does it need an overhaul. Would not stop here again. In the morning, there was absolutely NO water pressure in the shower..my husband is a plumber & the room next to ours they had left the door open, so he went in & took the shower head from their room & replaced it in ours....was much better. Told them at check out & they claimed, no one had ever complained before!!!!! BS!! They are remodeling a little...but this place is a dive!!
I have never stayed at a Best Western before, I was pleasantly surprised! The location of this hotel is amazing, literally across the street was a Target, and options for food! The hotel was in my opinion magnificent, the room was big roomy and has that "homey" feel. Our toddler had enough room to explore! We loved the asthetics.. friendly staff!
this is a great place to stay for a larger group. approx. 7 miles from downtown nashville and easy access to the interstate. No Elevator so if you have lots of luggage or difficulty with stairs, request the first floor.
I must say my stay Feb 20, 2018 was a great stay. The room was like a mini apartment, the room was clean and smelling fresh. I would definitely be returning. I travel to Nashville and Brentwood monthly. This was best stay ever. I will also book here for my employees.
Was the worst Best Western I have ever stayed in. There is new management and they don't know what clean means. Heating and Air didn't work. Refrigerators didn't work right. Floors covered in dirt but they couldn't bother to sweep them even though no one was working on the construction on the weekend. Need an extra pillow couldn't have one was told. No breakfast had to walk to Waffle House in Pouring Rain with a 45 min wait on Saturday. Gave $5.00 coupon for each but you can't eat at Waffle House for that. Had to go each day to get the coupons. Didn't leave soap or shampoo one morning. Next morning they didn't bother making the bed up. there was a piece of paper laying in the middle of the floor they couldn't bother to pick it up.Will never stay here again. Maybe Best Western should inspect their hotels with the their names on them.
RUDE, obnoxious older man at check in who thought it was unnecessary to explain charges! Hotel under MAJOR renovation. DISGUSTING sewer smell in the hallway. Total first floor in shambles due to renovation. Could not even go through the lobby .. had to exit building to go through another door to get to room. Room door did not fit right. It had a gap almost a half inch between door and door jam. There was no breakfast. Gave a $5 voucher for a restaurant down the street. The microwave and refrigerator were IN the bathroom. Who wants to prepare food in a bathroom???? Overall a very disgusting place. Would have expected more from a Best Western!
We just made reservations to stay here again in 2018. My husband and I stayed there in November of 2017 but this time we are going to stay in a suite since friends are joining us. It will be nice to have a living room to sit in instead of sitting on the beds. Best Western Brentwood is reasonably priced, the place was clean, staff was friendly and they had a nice breakfast in the morning. It is located in a convenient location so you can get to many places via the highway or walking across the street to the strip mall.
The property, although under some construction, was very beautiful. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Especially after we moved from an unsatisfactory hotel. Our room was quite large and we were very pleased with our stay. Shopping and restaurants were within walking distance and made it a much nicer stay.
We have used this hotel many times over the past year while under going treatments at Vanderbilt Hospital. The location is convenient to downtown and activities in area. The staff is always very helpful and ee especially like the suites.
Beds were comfortable, hotel is under renovation, so so of the areas are still a work i process. Very close to I-65 entrance, and restaurants as well as a good location to all of Nashville. I eat at a waffle house which I walked to next door. Spacious rooms.
They need a new desk worker because the check in man was very very rude and got smart with me because I didn't have triple A!!!! The rooms also need to be redone because the wall paper was hanging half way off. I also disliked that the refrigerator and microwave was in the bathroom!
Clean hotel, friendly staff. Very large spacious room, 2 King. Good breakfast supplied well by attendant. layout of hotel requires some up and down stairs even for "first" floor room. no elevator, so I'd opt for another location if you have difficulty handling luggage on stairs. Good price for area.
Staff pleasant, helpful. We loved the room with separate sitting area from bedroom. Not to far from Nashville. We visited Plantation in Franklin. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here when returning to Tennessee
Clean room with very comfortable beds. Only minor complaint is when the person in the adjacent room room took a morning shower it sounded like it was in our room. Need a little more wall insulation. Other than that, good experience. Friendly staff. Would stay here again.
One member of the staff was incredibly rude when we called to add an additional night to our stay. The hotel was under construction which we were not made aware of when we made our reservation. Poor internet and no HD TV's. We stayed on the first floor and the noise from the floor above was so loud that it woke us up, so request a floor on the top level. In addition, there is only one parking spot per room, so if you have a trailer or a haul, this is not the hotel for you.
Stay was great! Comfortable room and beds! Appearance of door initially creeped me out but when I walked into the room, all that uneasiness went away. Room smelled great and was spotless. Price could come down but I Would recommend and would stay again.
We stayed at this hotel October 16-18. Apparently the hotel was formerly a group of apartments, and there was construction going on ALL DAY right outside our door. We were not notified about this when we booked the room (a suite actually). When the work crew finished at the end of the day, there were nails all over the place outside our suite. There were five people in our party, so we had requested a cot and were told that would not be a problem. When we checked in, we asked for the cot to be delivered and were informed that we had booked through a third party and the hotel wasn't responsible for anything they had promised. The suite itself was ok, although it was obviously in the process of being renovated. It was clean enough, and the beds were comfortable. (The sofa would have slept better if it was about a foot longer.) We most likely will NOT stay there the next time we visit Nashville.
For the value this is one of the best places in the Nashville area~ It is only a few miles to downtown and worth the drive to saving several hundred dollars! I have already booked again for a stay in November.
The location of this B/W is excellent. Although there is a main freeway nearby, the room was very quiet. Three restaurants are within walking distance as well as a strip mall with a Target store. All the staff at this B/W was friendly and helpful, I would love to stay here again the next time we visit Tennessee!
Easy downtown access, for a long weekend visit to Nashville. The very clean room had a super comfortable bed, and a shower with excellent water pressure! Staff was friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again!
The pleasing exterior does not coincide with the interior. The hotel needs an update. The carpeting is not only very dirty, but dated along with the draperies. The bathroom is dated and noted a cigarette burn in the top of the bathroom vanity. Needs update. Please note the hotel is next to a railroad. The horn/whistle at 4-5 am woke me. The bed pillows need replacing.
Booked this hotel on our way to Florida. It is an older property I believe but was charming in it's décor. The rooms were clean and quiet even though we were in a room facing a busy street. For some reason the cabinets in the bathroom/kitchen area had been painted over so they couldn't be opened but other than that our stay was enjoyable. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of choices.
When checking in we specifically requested a non-smoking room and were assured the premises was non smoking and all rooms were no smoking. Upon entering the room the stench of the smokers den almost knocked us over. Called the desk manger and upon arrival he immediately noticed the smokers stench, opened the windows and sprayed aerosol, which covered the stench for about 10 minutes. He apologized but told us for that night he was unable to move us to another room. Did offer to move us the second night. The stench was bad enough that housekeeping had to know, and management certainly knew when they came to the room. Whoever stayed in the room after us walked into the same situation. When you say you are non smoking, non-smoking posted on the door and non-smoking posted in the room and charge as non-smoking you should be non-smoking. Non smoking means non smoking. No discount or refund offered. No No No No.
No elevator. Staff tried to charge me an extra 30.00 for a first floor room because I was reluctant to carry 2 50 pound suitcases up two flights of stairs. I asked the gentleman at the front desk if I can have a first-floor room and he said there were a conpatable rooms to mine but it would cost 30.00 more for the room on the first floor. Really unprofessional. I carried the luggage up the stairs myself. Not happy.
Quite outdated no elevator facility overpriced for what you get - painting needed, floors creak, room door lets much ight from hall - bathroom sink didn't function correctly. Difficult to find seating in the eating area
Don't spend your money. Rude staff and lousy accommodations. Plenty of other hotels in the same area. Got be to better than this chain. Don't let the lower price entice you. Spend a few more dollars and enjoy your stay.
Beautiful hotel. Could use some updates inside (remodeling, interior looked worn and kind of outdated). I would stay there again. Staff was friendly, hotel room was clean. Decent prices for rooms. Overall a good experience.
We had a nice stay at the Brentwood TN Best Western. Our room had a kitchenette, living room with TV and roll out bed as well as 2 queens in the adjoining room. It was perfect for our family! Breakfast was nice as usual.
Highly recommend this hotel. Nice area and really nice, clean hotel room. Have never found a room that has 2 King beds but this hotel did and it was a large room. Very acceptable in my regards for cleanliness, room space, and overall area. Will definitely stay here again.
Very nice place. They have larger rooms with a front room, if you want to pay more. the standard rooms are fine.. We just got spoiled last time and thought that is what we requested. Alot of food and other places close by...
The floor above was a little squeaky, but the room was otherwise comfortable and bed was perfect for a good night's sleep. Very good value for a popular location. I also felt safe. The area around the hotel is very busy and near an interstate, but the location of this hotel was such that I couldn't hear the traffic nor feel like I was in the middle of chaos.
We've stayed here several times over the past few years and each time, I think it gets a little bit better. This year, I had booked a regular king room. We were given a 2 room queen suite, but the room was so nice, we stayed with it! The queen suite we had would be a perfect room in the fall/winter as it had a fireplace. My husband was able to watch tv late in the living room while I went to bed in the bedroom. Everything was clean and breakfast was good. Worked out perfect! Just like last time, we walked across a parking lot to the Longhorn Steakhouse and had a great meal. Keep up the good work!
on a scale of 1 to 10 15 is my rating of this hotel. traveling with children age 6 to 21 months. children went to sleep fast as the beds were comfortable and lots of room. (2-king size). breakfast was filling and children loved the pancakes.
The room was clean and comfortable. The A/C worked great! (very important for the South in August). The hotel was quiet, and the staff were helpful. The breakfast was ok; I would have liked to have more variety. Overall, a good experience.
Terrible experience from the moment I got out of my car. From the unhelpful staff and smelly hotel lobby to the uncleanliness of the hallways, sleeping room, and bathroom. Then to top it all off it smelled horrible everywhere, like cigarette smoke and mold covered up with terrible smelling air freshener. I also felt unsafe in the parking lot and walking to my room. Additionally, I couldn't get a bottle of water.
About 16 miles to downtown Nashville On ramp right by hotel The staff very friendly Rooms very clean We had king room with sofa Bed comfy Great breakfast 15 min to Hattie B's chicken A must stop while in Nashville
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast had an array of hot and cold foods. The front desk personnel were helpful and ready to do anything to make your stay comfortable. Ray, the gentleman that worked the evenings at the front desk, was helpful in finding us a restaurant with delivery service. Be forewarned though, there is no elevator in the hotel. I will definitely stay again when I'm in the area.
We stayed two nights here when we came to Nashville. The room was comfortable for the two of us. Breakfast was decent. I would recommend that whatever air freshener that is used in the lobby should either be changed or they should use a lot less of it. It's overpowering. Other than that, it was a good stay.
It was a great place. My friend booked this hotel for me. The stay was great. Basically, a clean neat place and the breakfast was good and lots of choice for the price. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was quite
We stayed with some friends that were there. They hotel seems very old and the lady at the breakfast was not good. Food was cold and it was dirty all around. The General Manager during the day was rude and didn't understand anything we tried to tell him about our issues. The night manager was great he talked to us like we were a true guest and not a number. He said he would look into the issues with our room and he did just that.. If this place is cleaned up and changes made to staff the hotel would be a great place to stay. Will not stay there again and if you do beware.
no room to park your car anywhere. had to park in front of hotel lobby. desk clerk said don't have enough parking spots. will not return because of this. another guest had to park on sidewalk to entrance of hotel. 134.99 for a room with no where to park...
My mother had knee replacement surgery and I needed to stay in Nashville a couple of nights. Downtown hotels have priced themselves out of my price range. This hotel, however, was reasonable and very nice and in Brentwoor!
Exceeded our expectations! Exceptional value for money. Stayed in the Suite rooms - perfect for extended stay for family of four. Reception desk staff extremely helpful and kind. Only takes 10 to 15 minutes to get into Nashville - so location is also great! Many useful close by places for eating and shopping.
Came to Nashville to move our son and decided to stay for July 4th festivities. BW Brentwood had reasonable prices. The facility was older but everything was clean, comfortable and in working order. They offered a free breakfast but we did not use this service.
Thank you for your hospitality, cleanliness and comfortable rooms at the Best Western, Brentwood, TN. It was a most enjoyable stay with a wonderful staff and convenient lodgings. We found the hotel within a short distance from stores that we needed to visit and that dining establishments were wonderful very close to the hotel.
Friends recommended this hotel to us and we were very happy with it. The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable! The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served each morning in a peaceful environment.
Arrived and said we were upgraded to suite. Air Conditioning did not work and was muggy. Then moved us to a room with a good air conditioner but not hot water in the building. Water heater being replaced and may be morning before repairs completed and had previously told me he has sent 12 other quests to other motels because water heater out. Confused as to why he would put us on the room. We managed with heated water from the microwave but were not Happy Campers. We are loyal Best Western people having just spent 9 days straight in them on our trip and pass through this area often but will never stay here again. The furniture was very worn and dirty. Just gave you a 'Yuk' feeling. Suggest stay somewhere else..I will next trip to the area.
On several recent trips to Nashville I have stayed at the Brentwood Best Western. The staff is always helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and very affordable. I would recommend this hotel for stays in this area.
I was extremely surprised of the location. The Hotel seemed tucked away but was close to major roads and a strip mall. My room felt like studio apartment.great living space. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Nashville.
We stay here every year when we attend CMA Fest. It's a quick drive into downtown Nashville. The property is always clean and the staff helpful and friendly. We were thrilled with the upgrade we received at check-in. The room was huge which gave us girls lots of room to get ready for our adventures. The breakfast was great each morning.
This hotel is a very basis BW and is in need of updating. There is a definite 1960's feel. Be sure to note that there is NO ELEVATOR and all the rooms - even those on the ground level have a number of stairs required to enter due to the location on a hill. The surrounding area is good and conveniently located about 10 -20 mins from Nashville. The staff was helpful and courteous.
Not the newest hotel but definitely one of the best for the value. Great shower. Very very clean. Very nice staff. Great breakfast. Convenient to Nashville. We come to Nashville often and will likely stay here again.
Good clean room with great a/c. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The bed was very comfortable. We moved to a first floor room due to stairs, (no elevator) and front desk staff even helped move my bags.
Recently stayed for 3 nights and would definitely stay again if in the area. It is located very, very close to the on ramp for the interstate and our initial thought, on our arrival, was 'how on earth would we sleep because of the traffic noise.' Surprisingly, once in the hotel, we hardly heard the traffic at all, certainly weren't disturbed by it and slept really well despite its close proximity. A few restaurants and shops are also situated within a short walking distance. The decor is a little dated but had a homely feel. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was acceptable with a fairly good choice on offer. Free parking also available. We found it a very convenient place to stay when visiting the area. It was approximately a 20 minute, straightforward drive into down town Nashville where we also found a few, very reasonably priced, centrally located car parks. All in all we were pleased with our stay as it ticked all the right boxes for what we wanted.
We traveled to Nashville for a "girls trip" to see Joan Baez, Mary Chapin Carpenter and the Indigo Girls concert at the famous Ryman Auditorium. There was lots going on in Nashville and the BW hotel in Brentwood was conveniently located on I-65, close access to I-440 loop to 40 and I-24. A quick 7 miles from downtown. Rooms in Nashville for this particular weekend everywhere else were EXPENSIVE. BW rates best by far. We were pleased that there was Paneras, Waffle House, Starbucks and a Target store and more within walking distance from the hotel. (Bw does provide the standard hotel breakfast including hot eggs, sausage, cold cereal and fruit). Ray greeted us with a warm smile when we checked in. He was personable and extremely helpful. He answered all our questions about the hotel, breakfast, parking just everything we needed to know. Ray made sure our three rooms were close to each other and personally helped one of our (8) ladies with her luggage up the stairs. He gave us directions to downtown, gave us a map and told us about road closures and other events going on, Stanley Cup, CMA Appreciation, Four Voices Tour. I felt like we were 'family' before we even got to our room! Although he was busy, he made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you BW for employing great people like Ray who make sure your guests have a great experience.
We stayed here last month while visiting Nashville and had two room. A king room for my in laws and a queen suite for myself my husband and my two teen boys..the queen suite was absolutely beautiful and had so much room! Beds very comfortable and the shower was amazing. My in laws loved their room and said it was the nicest Best Western they have ever stayed at would have given 5 stars but the down side was the parking was very limited. We had to walk quite a a bit away to reach our building..in the rain. And the breakfast was not the best we have had...but overall we will definitely stay here again when visiting the area
This hotel was convenient to the highway, close to places to eat and even shop. The staff was welcoming and efficient and helpful. Room was perfect and slept like a baby. Rates were reasonable and free breakfast.. Loved my stay..
International travellers on a months holiday, we arrived at the hotel with my husband extremely ill. Ray front office/general manager was helpful beyond belief. He organised a booking for a second night offering assistance during the evening should we require, then next day assisted in planning our route and accommodation to our next destination. Our room was very large, spotless with very comfortable bed and pillows. The room had full length windows offering a garden view. Breakfast was great, large dining area with supplies replenished for length of breakfast time. Hotel close to restaurants only 20 mins from major attractions. Lovely family owned hotel managed by the very helpful Ray. We intend to stay in touch with Ray as we arrived strangers in need , left as we had spent time with friends. Highly recommend .
Illness in family stay one night will recommend this hotel to friends and family the hotel was very clean and the hotel people were really nice and helpful the floor we were on was just the perfect place for I am handy cap and it was the first floor
We stayed in a suite with 2 queen beds, living room and kitchen area. The space seemed a little tired and the kitchen did not offer much in the way of glassware or plates. The hotel sits adjacent to the Waffle House just up a grassy knoll. However to walk over to Panera or other stores in a little plaza is a somewhat dangerous affair with no sidewalks and speeding traffic. Breakfast was so-so and we passed on it the second morning in favor of the Waffle House. We used Uber to get around the area which worked out well.
Four separate buildings. Updated recently. Well done. No elevators . We had ground floor. Very large room. Tile and wood flooring, no carpet. Staff were well informed and helpful. Easy to find. Don't worry about age, again, everything new and good.
We came in out of a heavy rainstorm, glad to get off the road. The hotel was reasonably comfortable with most of the amerities one would want. There were restaurants nearby one could walk to -- if it wasn't raining.
The outstanding staff at this hotel goes out of its way to make the guests feel welcome. They helped to make a vacation for 10 people exceptional. The hotel is clean and very appealing, though a bit older.
This hotel was perfect for our family gathering and meeting over a couple of days. The hotel staff and manager in particular were extremely nice and helpful. The conference room was perfect for us (other than no Wifi but minor problem!). All at an affordable price. Good breakfast too. Parking areas were real good with staff around all the time.
I could not be more pleased with everything about our stay ( a group of ten) from the facilities, to the convenience to the outstanding customer service provided by the entire staff but especially manager Ray.
Upon arrival we encountered a nice man who greeted us and told us the best way to get to Lipscomb from the hotel. The hotel appears to be s refurbished apartment complex. The room is very roomy and consist of a separate living area from the bedroom. It also has a kitchenette with a microwave and mini refrigerator. The closet in the living room is extremely roomy. There are two sinks in the bedroom area. Breakfast was your typical breakfast with a couple hot items and other breakfast foods. The worst part was there were dirty towels in the bathroom closet that had been left from the previous guests. I told the manager and he said they would check it out.
We walked to the reception office and found Mr. Ray Turner, the front desk manager. He was so helpful, has a great personality and he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and welcome! He also gave us information about the places we wanted to visit, he gave us a map and marked the rout and also the times when there was less traffic. This by far has been the best experience we've ever had! And also the suits are awesome... very roomy, clean and you have everything you need! Fantastic!
We were pleasantly surprised how spacious our suite was. We found it clean and in good order. We were only a minute from the ramp that goes to nashville and was within a 10 to 15 minute drive to all the sites we visited. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
We reserved two rooms on the Best Western website, both rooms were exactly what we had reserved and at the price quoted. This hotel is very nice and considerably less $$ than many other hotels close to Nashville. We had no complaints at all. Also located in a very safe & quiet area.
Front Desk Clerk - outstanding! Room was huge and clean. More importantly most comfortable bed ever! Awesome breakfast that included biscuits and gravy! No pool but we didn't care as it was in a great location.
We had a great experience at this hotel. Friendly staff and great location. The breakfast was really good too. I would recommend taking a back stage tour of the opry if your heading to Nashville for vacation. Really interesting history and cool to see how the stars work there.
For the money, this is hard to beat. Big rooms, clean, microwave and frig. In the Nashville market it is difficult to find a nice accommodation for under $ 150.00. Convenient to I-65 and downtown. Suites are available and perfect if traveling with family.
I'm disabled and requested 'no stairs'. Was assured at check in that that was the case but ALL units can only be accessed up a few stairs from the outside so NOT accessible for wheelchair. I left my rollator in the car. Having said that, the suites are large (was formerly an apartment complex), reasonably comfortably furnished (beds are excellent), clean, etc. It's not easy to find (GPS gets confused) but if heading south on I-65, stay to the left when exiting onto Old Hickory Blvd and then take the first left onto Franklin Pike Drive.
We recently stayed here for two nights since we were attending a wedding nearby. Ray at the front desk was super!!! You would think he was renting rooms at the Taj Mahal. He went above and beyond and is definitely an asset to Best Western and your property. The room was nice and clean. Would have given a five but the bed was very uncomfortable. Overall, a great convenient place to stay.
During my stay Ray went out of his way to ensure that my stay was great! He was able to ensure that I had a ground floor room since I had several pieces of luggage to carry. He asked upon a return visit if I had everything I needed during my last stay and how my room was. I told him it was perfect and the bed was so comfortable. After a long day at work a cool room with a comfortable bed is all you need.
My first experience in Nashville area was comfortable due to the Best Western Brentwood. Ray at the front desk was very welcoming, and understood my situation about my son's autism. Arrived early and staff prepared room for us. Good breakfast daily. Quiet room even though next to I-65. My room was on the first floor and you can hear footsteps of floor above, but not a deal breaker for me. Internet was spotty, but was repaired during our stay and had no problems after the upgrade. Would have liked a sitting chair in the 2Q bedroom, but that just means I need to reserve a suite next time.
Was in a room on the bottom floor and had very loud neighbor above walking all during the night with squeaking floorboards. Recommend top floor room for this reason. Also, wi-fi didn't work and bathtub didn't drain properly. Was in the main building and it was clean.
We were in the main building, second floor. Room was quiet and comfortable. Arrived Friday, checked out on Sunday. The breakfast was solid, but the space is small- it filled up quickly. The coffee was great- always important! We'd definitely recommend it and stay there again.
I really was amazed. More than met my expectation. My room was pretty and clean. Staff was accommodating. I felt safe. Breakfast was a choice of hot (biscuits with sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, toast, warm or cold pastries, muffins, orange juice, uuuummmm good. Coffee was fresh. Atmosphere was very nice.
I have stayed at this hotel three times in the past year and every visit was great. The rooms are nice, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast selection is awesome. It is conveniently located and close to several restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.
our room , location and service was excellent. Trouble with door lock and no internet service were the only black marks that's about it I really don't have more to say I hope this is 200 characters. Well I guess I need to type more and ramble on .Been to Key West but Nashville is way wilder
My mother and I went up to Nashville for a pre Labor Day quick getaway. The hotel front desk employee Ray was so nice and accommodating. He even gave us some great information and suggestions about Music Row. I was concerned about the location of the hotel since it sits literally under the expressway and next to a railroad track. However I never heard any road traffic or trains. There were no funny smells, only clean and tidy facility. There were some dead bushes and landscaping needed some attention. This just went under new ownership so I believe they are going to be doing some improvements. The couches in the lobby were ok but need new ones as these were outdated and a little worn. I loved the colonial styling of the woodwork and the cozy feel of the lobby and computer area. I would stay here again as its within walking distance of Panera bread and Target and a few other stores. Its is RIGHT off the highway making it ideal for a night out in downtown Nashville and easy return back to your hotel. No pool because this is on a hillside. Fitness center is way outdated and never used. Did not know they had apartment like suites that one can stay in. I think they need to work on advertising these rooms more and also offering long term discounts for folks working for weeks or months in the Nashville area.
No complaints at all!!!! Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds. Well lighted areas. Near restaurants. You can walk to Panera bread, a Mexican grill, Waffle House, cold stone ice cream. Easy to get on highway to head into Town of Nashville. Seven miles away. Their breakfast is excellent!! Will stay here again if back in area. ????????????????????
I wish I could remember his name, but the gentleman that checked me in that evening was very helpful and was able to reccamend an alterenate route to get to where I was going the next day becauses it would have been during rush hour traffic and would have been miserable. I also really appreciated the staff memeber at breakfast. She was very busy making sure everythhing stayed fresh and that there was plenty of it. Definitely one of the better breakfasts at a hotel within this price point that I have had - and I have had a lot. The whole experience was such an unexpected gem. My whole team really appreciated our experiance at this hotel.
This is a great motel and a quiet location. My room was spotless and the Continental Breakfast was very good. I have stayed here several times before and plan on it again in the future. Do not have any complaints and would recommend it to anyone.
This is the second time we have stayed here, The rooms were spacious with a sitting area. Also had a small fridge and microwave. The staff was very friendly and everything was clean and well maintained. They have a complimentary breakfast that looked good but we had other plans so didn't eat. will stay there again when we need a room in the Nashville area.
If you're in need of ADA access, are a senior citizen, or are traveling with small children, consider crossing this location off your list and choosing the Holiday Inn Express across the street instead. There are no elevators here! and no rooms are accessible without climbing 3-15 or more steps -- and having to drag or carry your luggage all that way. This is not disclosed anywhere on their website that I could find after having stayed there July 30-Aug 3. I also found the Wi-Fi access problematic on my Android phone. The login page would repeatedly be rejected by the Chrome browser, and I had to find a workaround to defeat this. Access seemed to terminate unexpectedly after a couple of hours, which makes viewing movies or listening to streaming audio a challenge. Rooms here are on the small side. We were downgraded to a double queen room from a king when I refused to climb to a second story to get to Room 102 (yes, the lower numbers are on the upper floor, go figure). The tiny closet could not be accessed easily because the door would only open 60 out of 90 degrees due to being blocked by one of the beds. No microwave in the room, refrigerator in the bathroom had a freezer, which was convenient since I bought some great BBQ to take home (see my review of Judge Bean's BBQ). Breakfast was OK, but the orange juice tasted funny, and I avoided it after the first day's breakfast, which was a disappointment. Most other BW properties get a significantly higher rating from me.
This was a great room. The hotel was very clean. Excellant beds. Breakfast was good. The only problem is steps no elevator. It was tricky to find off of North I-65 but very easy going back on North I-65.
I have been to 4 points and Hyatt in the same location on various business trips but finally settled for BW because of WIFI. The internet was good, rooms are clean and neat. The price is affordable .Also, the staff is friendly.
We stay at this hotel every year that we go to Nashville for our girls week. We love the location and the staff is great. Rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. There are several "out buildings" which are two stories. FYI...there are no elevators in these buildings. If your room is on the 2nd floor, you must carry your suitcases upstairs. We've had a problem for the past two years of not having enough parking spots available when we've been out late. Other than that, we love staying at this hotel.
We spent one night traveling through the area. Great place to stay and get a good nights rest. It was a very clean hotel and a quiet hotel. It did include a small breakfast and it was good. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional.
The suite was very roomy and quite. the view was good and it could be better if you could go to balcony. The door to balcony was blocked. The remote for TV to one of the rooms was not working properly and I had to press it several times to get to the next TV channel. The hair dryer was missing and there were no light on top of the mirror in the bedroom. Closet was huge. Breakfast was fair and typical warm breakfast. Friendly staff and fast internet speed. Considering the high price for the hotels in Nashville, it was better than expected.
A very nice area of Tennessee and a very nice hotel. Only small draw back was no pool but we knew that before we got there. Plenty of shopping (Target in walking distance) and restaurants near. Beds and Pillows are on the soft side. The Staff was A+. Located right off the main highway like 5 mins from Nashville. Breakfast was very good and plenty of seating.
Driving overnight became too much of a task, so at 3:30 a.m., we made a reservation using hotels.com. Upon arrival 30 minutes later, the night auditor told us the 2 bed suite wasn't available. She graciously let offered us a king suite and when she discovered there was only one roll away, she let us use another room also. Clean and friendly!
Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff went out of way for great customer service. Would love to stay again. The location was convenient for our stay. Breakfast was hot and fresh with someone to handle making sure was fresh.
Considering the low cost of this hotel it really is nice! Does not have a pool which was the one downside. However, staff was friendly, hotel was really clean and nice, and the beds were very comfortable (and I am picky)! I would definitely stay again!
We booked this hotel for a 2 day stay for a baseball tournament in Franklin, TN. We wanted something in between Franklin and Nashville so we booked this one through Hotwire. The rating is mainly for the excellent staff, overall cleanliness, and comfortable bed and room. The hotel looks better on the inside than it does on the outside. My main concern was that the microwave and refrigerator is located in the bathroom area! I think the closet would be a better storage area for these. However we were able to get over that quickly. Breakfast was below average though.
I would say it was an overall nice experience. The hotel is easily accessed. There are plenty of eating and shopping options within walking distance. Staff are attentive and polite. I would stay again.
this is a very nice BW that has been converted from apartments to hotels. We stayed in a spacious sweet w 6 people. The exterior is almost colonial in design and looks like a more expensive stay. The rooms were spotless and the customer service was perfect, even at 1am. Breakfast included many options from Waffles, to Fruit, to Sausage, eggs, Biscuits w Gravy etc etc. The price was excellent for the size and Quality. The entire family recommends this Best Western!
We have stayed at this hotel numerous times when we visit our son at Lipscomb University. It's conveniently located near everything we need, and it's a breeze to get on 1-65N from the hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. It's not overly fancy, but it's a great place to stay for a good price. The breakfasts are good and help save money, but there's also a Waffle House next door if you'd prefer to eat there. The waffles in the best western are really good though, as were the biscuits and gravy. We already have a room booked again for the fall!
I did not know that the breakfast was included. It then makes the price very good. The place was very quiet. There was no disturbance by other guests. The staff was courteous. They put our luggage in the office because the room was not ready when we arrived.
As usual, we were satisfied w/our stay at a Best Western. The staff was great, this is a very comfortable hotel with large rooms and the price was much lower than many Nashville locations. A few miles out of downtown, but it only takes about 10 minutes to get into downtown. We're in Nashville a LOT, probably half the year actually, so we know when something is convenient or not. The reason this hotel is also an excellent spot, is because it's close enough to go back and forth to downtown/musicrow/westend, but it's out far enough that it's EASY to get to places to eat and stores and literally everything you might need is a minutes drive from the parking lot of the hotel. If you're looking for a perfect 5 star place, go pay for it, this isn't for you, but it's great for anyone else.
Regardless of other reviews.. this hotel needs some major help A.) Bathrooms are literally falling apart and need to be fully remodeled B.)Breakfast ends at 9am even on weekends and during special evens in Nashville forcing guests to get up early because the management is so inflexible.. they would not extend breakfast for their guests even after being asked multiple times over a five night stay C.)At night, there is not enough parking spots for guests forcing people to park on curbs and in the entry area D.)They use some type of thick plastic bed sheet that is noisy, hot and uncomfortable.. not a good experience We were with a group of two other couples for CMA Fest and every couple had the same complaints
This is a clean and unpretentious hotel with a homey atmosphere. It's very comfortable offering everything you need. It is an overall good experience but just a bit pricey but not unmanageable. The location is convenient to many restaurants, the highway and downtown Nashville, as well as other local communities.
Facility layout with separate buildings lends to coming home to your apartment rather than a hotel. Clean and quiet. Hot breakfast has good selection. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms have great mattress; clean and love that refrigerator and microwave (yes, those are there) are in bathroom where water and coffee located. Worked well even if sounds strange. Free wifi. Challenges are there are no elevators and lots of steps. Fitness room is minimal and older (noisier) equipment. Note for facility: put signs on waste containers that towels go in one and trash in other. We visitors don't always get it. ?? We came from north, so getting to the hotel by GPS was a circuitous route. Restaurants close by.
The staff was great. There were many of us as we were attending a funeral and came from all over the USA.Tammy the day manage gave us access to a meeting room sop we could gather and talk. The breakfast with biscuits and gravy was wonderful. Easy access to the various interstates and the Nashville tourist attractions.
The bed was to hard. Very uncomfortable. I could not get the internet to work. The space in the room was nice and it was clean. The sitting area and kitchen area well designed. My concern was how hard the bed was and I am not a picky person but the bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever encountered. The pillows were nice.
Clean rooms friendly staff and convenient location for my stay. I have no complaints about this hotel. Close enough to downtown Nashville and a good motorcycle ride to Lynchburg. The hotel was very clean and well maintained.
This was a very clean room and property. Staff was very concerned that your stay was to be nice stay and it was. I don't have any complaints about this hotel, only good things to say about it. It was in a nice area, and easy to get to anything in the Nashville area from this location.
I visit Nashville often because my daughter attends Belmont University. I am usually there for only a short time so I try to stay outside of the city to lower the cost. I like the location of this hotel because it was very convenient coming from Belmont. It is also located very close to restaurants and a Target. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast so I can't comment but the room was perfect for my needs and I would definitely stay there again.
The rooms were nice but located in separate buildings. This makes it hard to go for breakfast and also the time frame for breakfast was 6-9am. This did not allow enough time for breakfast especially when driving from distances. The breakfast time should be at least until 9:30 preferably 10am.
This hotel is within walking distance of a shopping center containing various restaurants and a Target store. This can be handy if you don't want to drive on the busy roads around the hotel in order to get a bite to eat. This facility has no elevator, at least not in the building where our room was. Our room was clean and had no smell. But we did find two large bugs in our room. Our room was freezing cold during our whole visit because, no matter what settings we tried, we could not adjust the highly complicated, programmable thermostat. When we went down to the lobby for breakfast on our first morning, we did not know where the food was. There were tables and chairs, and juice and coffee, but there was no food in sight and no one at the front desk for us to ask. When we saw another hotel guest come from behind a wall at one end of the room bearing a plateful of food, then we realized that was where the food was located. I saw no more than two or three hotel employees during our entire two-night stay. I got the impression that there was a minimum of staff on hand at any given time. This hotel does not seem to place a high priority on guest service or comfort. The next time I am in this area, I may or may not stay here again.
If you want a place that is clean and friendly, this is the place. The staff have always been extremely nice and helpful. It is not the Ritz, but it has always been clean. I have stayed numerous times and have never found it any other way. It is within walking distance to Panera Bread, Long Horn Steakhouse and other smaller restaurants, Target and other shops. Convenient to the interstate.
Nice Hotel. Pillows are not the best. Room was fairly quiet and the AC worked great! The staff were very nice and switched my room so I didn't have to go up any steps. I appreciated their understanding in this matter
Only turn off was I saw a bloodstain under the sheet, on the mattress. I also am not too fond of adjascent rooms with doors joining my room. Customer service was good though. The place is in a great location.
Best value in the area, between Nashville and Franklin, very convenient to both. Although right off the interstate, it was not very noisy. Room was clean and well equipped with refrigerator and microvave with internet access available
Easy to find location, nice looking exterior, nice looking interior, clean room, comfortable bed and pillows, great WiFi, very very nice staff, very decent free breakfast. My only complaint is that the rooms are less soundproof than average. If you are staying for business and getting up early then you'll probably be OK. But, if you are staying for pleasure and trying to sleep-in, then you'll probably be woken-up by Traffic noise from the interstate.
This suburb of Nashville is very congested, but the hotel was easy to find and had several restaurants close by. We checked in, then went for dinner. Very friendly staff. There are several low rise buildings that make up the hotel. Ours did not have an elevator which was fine for us, but you might want to ask. The included breakfast was above average.
This is a beautiful two story hotel that looks like it has been renovated from apartments. During a previous stay, we had an upstairs room with no complaints; one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in! This visit, we had a downstairs room, and like another poster stated, you can hear every sound the people upstairs make! We heard when they were walking and turning on the water, so definitely request an upstairs room if available! Our mini fridge did not work during this stay, but it wasn't that big of a deal for us. Otherwise, great place to stay! Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and comfortable beds!
This is a weird hotel. It was relatively recently renovated, but the renovations weren't good. Our room was sparse and not very comfortable and the bathroom looked like it needed to be completely gutted. Finding out room meant going down a staircase then up another. Staff were not friendly. But it is conveniently located and only about 20 minutes from downtown Nashville. You could do much worse.
This Best Western was very nice and clean. It's located next to a Panera Bread and a Target, which is very convenient., Excellent staff, went out of there way to make us feel at home. Definitely recommend to anyone!! I would stay here again. Out standing service!
I stay at the Brentwood Best Western weekly. What it lacks in stylish decor is easily compensated for in its kind and caring staff. The complementary breakfast has a wide variety of items for those that can eat in or are on the go and need something quick. It is located next to a shopping area with restaurants and a Target. Easy access to the interstate. A great place to stay, especially on business.
This Best Western was very nice and clean. It's located next to a Panera Bread and a Target, which is very convenient. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!! If I have to attend a business conference in this area in the future, I will stay here again.
This was the largest room ever, 2 queen beds with a large closet and very large bathroom with the best shower ever. If you are looking for a hotel with great rates located close to downtown Nashville, this is a great hotel.
Fast and easy access to I-65. Driving into downtown Nashville was convenient and hassle-free. Cost was substantially less than downtown hotels so worth the extra 10minute drive. Target and Panera within walking distance. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room away from highway was quiet. Bed comfortable. No elevators. I plan on staying again when visiting Vanderbilt/Belmont. Odd layout of hotel but did not present any issues.
Good value, clean rooms and good staff. The negative is, it's located next to a busy railroad, sleep interrupted. Located next to a good shopping area and multiple restaurants to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in this area and needing a place to stay.
My husband and I booked our stay at the Best Western in Brentwood through our aeroplan miles. What a pleasant surprise to go here. The hotel was amazing, when you pull into you realize that it is not your ordinary Best Western but even better than that when you actually stay there it is even better. Rooms are very nice but what we truly enjoyed was the personal touch. We were treated like family, if we wanted to go somewhere and it was close they actually offered to drive us, not just once but everytime. I can not think of a better place to stay in Nashville. We have stayed at Four Seasons I Brentwood and Gaylord Ophreyland hotel during our stay but this place was our favorite. Also, breakfast is included which was excellent.. This is a gem in Nashville!
Clean room, comfortable bed, blah breakfast ok coffee. Stairs everywhere, not for the handicapped. We don't know if there was something big going on while we were there, but the price was ridiculous. I'd stay again if it were cheaper. I need at least 200 characters for, this to post. Hope this helps you.
My wife and I were traveling thru to Florida and stopped in Brentwood over night. We have stopped here before and found it to be a clean and well kept facility. The area is in walking distance of restaurants and a Target Store if in need of any items forgot. We were greeted last year with comp bottles of water and micro-popcorn.........not this year. Economy may be the reason, but all in all the stay was pleasant.
This was an OK for a night's rest on a business trip. One of the best things it has going for it is the location. It is in a safe area, near some restaurants and a large Target shopping center. Only 15 minutes to the heart of downtown. The hotel was clean and spacious. Not the most fancy furnishings. Overall very average accommodation.
hotel is inconvenient both in location and set up the price matched the posh Nashville neighborhood but hotel was not worth the price. Bed felt and sounded like Styrofoam we stayed in some excellent Best Westerns in Arizona and Oklahoma but this one was below standard
We had another excellent stay at the Brentwood, TN, Best Western. As always, it was very pleasant and friendly with a very fair price. We stayed almost 2 weeks over the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Bob, Tammy, and their staff made our stay very relaxing and homey. We stay there every year when we come to see family and friends for the holidays. We recommend it to anyone coming to Nashville and needing a pleasant and relaxing place to stay. You will not be disappointed.
I am going to do my best to be fair on my assessment of this hotel as I have both negative and positive comments. The positive: The location of the hotel is great with easy access to the interstate. We had a suite room with a separate living area and the suite was very large and the walk in closet was great. The continental breakfast was nice with a good variety of both hot and cold items. The negative: Our room was not very clean. We had several pieces of hair on the ledge of the tub, there was a stain the size of a basketball on the back of the couch, the six panel doors (which I understand most hotels don't have) were covered in dust, and there was a significant amount of dust and debris on the floor behind the headboard. Also, the grout was pretty much black in the "kitchen/desk" area. All of the woodwork was beat up and/or chipped and looked terrible. While the suite was very large, we found the layout extremely odd. It was almost as if there was a dance floor in the middle of the sitting area. I did not find the hotel to be secure as the outside entrances did not lock or require a key card to enter. Our door did not lock shut unless you pulled on it very hard. Overall, we did not feel comfortable in this hotel and would not stay here again unless they made some improvements. I do feel that with some changes this could be a fantastic property given the location and the size of the rooms. I wish I would've taken more pictures.
I love this Best Western located in Brentwood, TN...I have stayed there for all my business appointments in the past year and will continue to do so in the future. Their staff is wonderful - so helpful and caring - just like family. I love their continental breakfast and they aren't stingy with their food. All in all you just can't beat them.
The suites at the BW Brentwood are an excellent choice for a family with kids. The rooms are very large and clean - location is excellent. Employees are extremely nice and go the extra mile. Breakfast is excellent. This is our hotel of choice for swim meets.
I was very happy with this hotel. My husband, 2 yr old son and I stayed here one night when traveling back home after vacation. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hot complimentary breakfast was great. We will probably stay there again!
Courteous staff and very professional and I would recommend it for a variety of reasons and particularly easy access to local highways, shopping and including restaurants. It seemed like a safe area as well....and, it was nice to have such an easy on-and-off highway stop!
Very nice. Fresh bedding and big towels. Would definitely stay again. Great location: close to IH65 and restaurants and retail stores. Breakfast was fresh. Fitness room needed a cord for the recumbent bike. Heating and AC worked well.
The patio door was unlocked when we arrived in the room. We could feel a draft when we were in the living area. The next morning we noticed that the two windows in the living area were not even latched and would not shut down all the way in order to latch. No screens on the windows either. Anyone could have gotten into the room since it was ground floor. The building sits next to the road with shrubs separating them. Some one could have gotten behind the building without being detected and gotten into the room. The unlatched windows could explain why there was a musty moldy smell in the room which was quite strong. The hot breakfast was not very good either. The eggs tasted like they were powdered eggs and the sausage was terrible tasting.
Very nice clean big rooms. Had a problem with the cable that the staff fixed within minutes of us letting them know it wasn't working. Close to interstate and plenty of places to eat. Just an overall nice clean hotel with decent prices.
The outside of the hotel looks nice and homey, and the inside is no different. Very clean and updated place, with free wifi and a free breakfast that CANNOT be beat. The rooms are clean and nice, although our refrigerator did not work (minor problem). I am extremely picky when it comes to hotels, especially about cleanliness and this Best Western fulfilled my expectations! Overall, very happy with my stay.
This is a great motel. Staff is the best that we have seen for many years. Desk, housecleaning, breakfast were all a class act. The motel is in an excellent location that is near Target, and many restaurants. We will never look for another motel when we are visiting family.
This hotel was easily accessed off of I-65 and was near restaurants and shopping. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with free Wi-Fi. The breakfast bar was quite sumptuous and well-stocked. Best of all, the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.
The staff are particularly friendly and helpful. Our trip required us to pass Nashville twice on the trip. The staff made us so welcome on the first trip that we decided to use the same hotel on our return trip too.
We really enjoyed staying here. Close enough to Nashville yet far enough that it isn't big city. Walking distance to Waffle House, Target and Longhorn. Staff was great, let us check in early. Very clean and had lots of ideas for things to do! Not far from Franklin, TN. Check out the Battle of Franklin Tour! Well worth the visit!
My family has stayed here for a couple of years visting family. The hotel staff have become like family the way the take care of us! Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Nashville area. Great location and even though it is a little old it is in great shape and is CLEAN!
Overall pleasant. If in wheelchair, CHECK for access. There is a lack of railings at steps outside and in main sleeping quarters. Good parking. Easy access to highway, once you learn the right exit. Tripadvisor displayed wrong exit.
We travel a lot across country and look for Best Western Hotels for a nightly stay. Typically they are clean and comfortable. Definitely a good value for the dollar and conveniently located off the highway with plenty of good restaurants in the vicinity.
Upon arrival the staff went out of their way to answer the many questions we had about the area. We arrived earlier then the scheduled check in time so we had to wait about a half hour but it wasn't a problem. The breakfast was great and there was always a staff member there with a greeting and a kind word. A room problem we had was promptly taken care of. If we were to visit the area again we would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Great place to stay in the Brentwood area of Nashville. Rooms are updated and comfortable. Great hot breakfast. The property has a "homey" feeling rather than an institutional feeling. Staff is helpful and pleasant. Great alternative to the larger chain motels.
Our suite rooms were immaculate, and roomy. Loved the accessibility to restaurants & stores which were within walking distance. We were unfamiliar with the area and were attending a wedding in a Hotel in downtown Nashville. The location is right off the main roadways. We were able to hop onto the interstate and easily get to and from downtown Nashville in a short time.
happy. This was a requirement for my hotel search. When traveling with four people/family it makes lodging so much more enjoyable. Good location--lots nearby. Our beds, however, did not meet the standards of Best Western. Not as comfortable and very noisey, so every time you or someone else moved you heard the bed. And then there is breakfast--like the selection, but please, please BW up the quality level on the eggs and sausage gravy.
