What a great hotel ! It was spotless , it smelt gorgeous, the staff were all really kind and helpful . They were extremely accommodating of our two dogs. Sometimes when we stay in city centre hotels with dogs, you are given the rooms which need updating or are a little tired. Not so here I booked a deluxe room., it was massive , it felt like it had been refurbished really recently, it was attractive , modern ,clean , light & airy. this was really appreciated as not all people with dogs want to pay extra for taking the dogs and then end up with one of the less salubrious rooms. The Hotel bar was fabulous. It had a great design , superb wines, attentive staff, indoor and outdoor areas. In fact, it was far better than a lot of the bars in the city centre. This hotel is superb and its location couldn't be any better? We have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody. We had read a couple of not great reviews about this Hotel just before we went. I'm so glad we still went as for my experience. Those reviews were on justified. It wasn't particularly noisy for a city centre. It wasn't dark.. yes the parking is €20 per night but this is pretty standard in the city . Overall, I would say it's value for money.

The staff and the service was excellent. The room was exceptional and breakfast was a pleasure. Perhaps the most significant were the staff clearly well trained, pleasent knowlegable. I real joy to visit and experience really good customer service. I would definately visit again

Wonderful hotel! Coming from the United States, I wasn't expecting a Best Western to be this good. The hotel is in a perfect location right on the promenade near a fountain and lots of restaurants. Breakfast is not included, but it's fantastic. An amazing spread complete with a squeeze your own fresh orange juice station! There's even a small pool. Our room was excellent. The staff very helpful. We'd intentially left one of the small amenities wallets the airlines give you in premium economy class in the room - and they sent us a series of texts alerting us! (We told them to keep it!) Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed for one night while exploring the Champagne region, and the Best Western Premier Hotel De La Paix turned out to be one of the most positive hotel experiences of our trip. The main reason was the service. Having stayed in and reviewed many hotels over the years, I rarely experience such consistently professional service from the first contact before arrival until departure. I exchanged several emails with Aliya before our stay regarding practical questions, and the communication was exceptionally efficient, helpful and professional. That same standard continued throughout our stay, giving the impression of a very well-run team across the hotel. We stayed in Privilege Queen Room 541 on the fifth floor. The room was not particularly large, but it was modern, spotlessly clean and very well designed. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the bathroom had a spacious and practical shower. The highlight was the small private terrace overlooking the rooftops towards the cathedral – a very pleasant place to sit with a glass of Champagne. The hotel is extremely convenient for exploring Reims, with the cathedral, restaurants and the city centre only a few minutes away on foot. The modern underground parking was another advantage and cost €20 for the night. I normally associate larger Best Western hotels with a rather standardised experience, but this was quite different. The contemporary bar, comfortable lounge areas and attractive courtyard give the hotel considerably more personality. What could be improved Breakfast was perfectly adequate, but the selection was relatively limited compared with the otherwise very high standard of the hotel. Final verdict At €256 for our room, I considered the stay good value given the location, room standard and, above all, the excellent service. I would readily stay here again. If you go Reserve the underground parking in advance. If your budget allows, I would also recommend requesting one of the fifth-floor rooms with a terrace.

This felt like a luxury boutique hotel stay. When I visit Reims next time I will look no further. This location is THE BEST proximity to everything. Walk outside the door and you're in the middle of city center! 6 minute walk to Notre-dame de Reims and Michelin restaurants, and also to the train station. 12 minute Uber to all the Champagne Houses for tastings. The Rooms are spacious for European standards and very elegant.

I think some reviewers are confusing this hotel with the other best Western. This particular hotel is excellent with beautiful rooms and a cosy couch area large enough for us to have a dinner at. There is an onsite restaurant and the hotel is perfectly located near the statue of the four rivers. If you book this hotel you will be sure to love it.

We enjoyed our stay here. I was a little bit nervous after reading reviews about Construction work going on but when we arrived in late August 2026 this had all finished and all the corridors were looking freshly refurbished. inside the room… It was as expected and in a very good central location but my only beef would be that this is one of those hotels that does that weird thing where the shower doesn't have a door so when you have a shower, the water goes all over the bathroom floor I've honestly never understood why some hotels do this. Please put doors on your showers. The other thing is upon walking into our room, It took us about 15 minutes to figure out how to turn the power on. There's basically a thing that we thought was a light switch on the wall that you put a card in and then the power will come on but there's no signs of stickers or anything to tell you to do this and it looks totally different to a normal card slot that most hotels have. I would advise the hotel to put some signage up explaining to do this although… pro tip that we learned here, you don't actually have to use the hotel‘s key card you can literally just use any card in your wallet and it will turn the power on. I would stay here again .

I had emailed the hotel in advance requesting a parking space. On arrival we pressed the intercom to be let into the carpark and a very rude man said "the car park is full". We explained we had reserved a space and he again sad "the carpark is full". By then there were two other cars behind us waiting to enter so I said we were not able to reserve. He then let us in to the car park which was largely empty with only around 6 cars there. This was a terrible start to our stay. At check-in there was no mention of the parking incident and my Best Western Platinum status was not recognised. We had reserved a three bedded room in a quiet area away from lifts. We were given a small room located in the actual lift lobby which did not have three separate beds but one double and one tiny single bed. The room was also very small and we could hear the left. We asked to change but we were told the hotel was full. The only reason I am not giving a one star review is because the bar and breakfast staff were good and the breakfast was of nice quality. I have been to the hotel many times over the years but will not return again.
