The room was spacious and clean and the bed comfortable. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Emily stood out in particular on account of her helpful and warm manner. Thanks to her suggestions we had an excellent time exploring Vannes. She has excellent people skills and is a first rate ambassador for Best Western.

"Brilliant luxurious waterside hotel"

Brilliant hotel in most attractive location near Vannes on the shore of the Golfe de Morbihan. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The public areas were beautifully designed and the bedroom we had was most comfortable. The food in both restauarants is excellent. The staff are all very friendly and efficent providing superb service. We congratulate this hotel on all that they do. We would certainly return.

Very good hotel. The location is fine, some 10-minute walk from the old town. The room was good size, clean and quiet. They provide an underground parking. The staff are nice and helpful.

Well located hotel with good parking available under the hotel, which was secure & easy to access from the hotel. Staff were friendly , efficient and very helpful Hotel clean and well kept. You could refill the water in your room as you wanted from reception.

"Good location but…."

While the hôtel is only a few minutes walk to the sprawling historic area, the hôtel seems to lack a little something. Positives: location, parking, rooms with terrace, comfy bed, great shower. Downside: reception not overly friendly, ‘Confort' room is v tight, and while there is a lobby bar the seating is uncomfortable sling chairs that are too low and too angled to sit for more than a few minutes to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine. The terrace also had the uncomfortable sling chairs. The ground floor rooms are carpeted but I suspect the upper floors aren't and there were lots of furniture moving/dragging from 6pm until 10pm (housekeeping?) and started at 8am on Saturday morning.

Good location for walking everywhere - the historic centre, ramparts and the port, as well as many bars, cafes and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable. Good choices at breakfast. We had a friendly welcome from an English speaking receptionist, who kindly recommended and booked us an excellent restaurant. Unfortunately our car broke down in the hotel garage, but the staff - in particular Jerome the hotel maintenance man, went above and beyond to assist us and get us on our way. So huge thanks to Jerome!

Great hotel in a brilliant location on the Conleau peninsular. Nearby are two bar/ restaurants and a small sandy beach popular with locals and good for swimming. There is a €1.5 bus into town that takes about 10-15 minutes. Sad to report that the mist showers are useless and water not hot. Take a proper shower head if going (but why should we?)

Had booked into Hotel Kyriad in Centre Ville, Vannes, France in the Brittany area of France. Stayed one night at Kyriad Centre Ville and immediately moved to the Best Western Plus Centre Ville. It was like night and day. The Best Western Plus Vannes Centra Ville was excellent in all respects. Rooms spacious with proper a/c. Bathrooms excellent with automatic towel warmers, tubs, showers and plenty of towels. Hotel has a great breakfast, restaurant, and lovely interior courtyard where meals or drinks can be served. Staff was uniformly faultless and attentive. English is spoken by all staff for those with less than stellar French. Vannes is a somewhat undiscovered historic gem in Brittany - fun to explore and a great jumping off point for further exploration of Brittany. The Best Western Plus Centre Ville Vannes is THE place to stay middle of Vannes Almost all rooms had balconies or terraces. Close to old town and harbor.
