"Good, bad but not ugly!"

Top marks must go for the setting. Our room on the first floor overlooked the stunning river view. Which was very old France. The sad part of this place is that although the setting is great, the interior is not, and new. Reception very cold and stark, with a large side room for evening meal or breakfast. Evening meals from a very limited choice, have to be ordered by 6pm, but can be eaten from 7pm onwards for a hour. Staff were lovely though and could not have been more helpful. It's worth going to the place, if only to take in the view, from the car park.

Excellent location on the way to the port. Great service and atmosphere. Great staff. Good food. Great modern rooms. Good value for money. The atmosphere was great. Comfortable bed. Highly recommend it.

The hotel is easy to find and has ample free car parking in a private car park just across the street. It is a short drive from Le Mont-Saint-Michel. The staff are great and speak good English. The rooms are large, comfortable and quiet and we had a lovely view of the river. The restaurant serves good food at a good price.

I returned to this hotel en route to Cherbourg from Le Croisic. It is an excellent hotel. Very clean and welcoming and efficient staff. The room was comfortable and well appointed. They have a restaurant but I dined in an excellent place in the main square. I shall certainly be returning on my way home next week.

Nice setting in town with a good choice of eating establishments. However, disappointed with the quality of the hotel. Didn't eat there. Dining area very uninspiring. Found the cleanliness of the bathroom well below standard. See photos. Could be so much better.

This hotel was very disappointing. The place was not clean, especially the bathroom and the curtains. The room was cramped since there was an extra bed that we did not need nor asked for. One of the chairs was broken. The food (breakfast and diner) was less than average. Not fresh, no inspiration , poor. The bed was ok. Good mattress.

"Only book if you have to."

No internet in the room. We booked this hotel because the restaurant was open on Sunday's. On Sunday afternoon we were told sorry that was a mistake and that restaurant was closed. Breakfast was only ok egg were cold the first morning and it took 15 minutes for the eggs to be replenished on the second morning.

"Great quiet stay."

The position of this hotel is stunning, right beside the river. The sound of the weir will lul you to sleep. The hotel is a converted water mill. Reception and check-in were friendly, helpful and welcoming. My room was on the top floor in the roof. The room was quite small exacerbated by the slope of the roof but it has everything I wanted including an exceptionally comfortable bed. Bathroom included a shower over a bath tub with copious hot water. Tea and coffee facilities were also provided. Breakfast was pretty good with all the usual hams, cheese, fruit, cereals etc plus Eggs and sausage on the hot front. The hotel also offered evening meals. The menu was pretty small but it did offer good value for money at 25€ for three courses. We used it the first night because we were wacked from travelling and we were impressed by the quality of the food. As the menu changed each day were chose to eat here a couple of times during our stay. Ducey is quite convenient for visiting Mont St Michel which is 25 minutes away and St Malo less than an hour. Ample parking is available at the hotel. I happily recommend and would stay again if in the area.
