Best Western Plus Carolus Park Hotel

Sutri sits on a tufa plateau north of Rome, and its most remarkable monument was never actually built. The Roman Amphitheatre below the town was carved by hand straight down into the volcanic rock, hollowed out rather than stacked up, with the seating tiers cut from the same stone. Best Western Plus Carolus Park Hotel stands a short walk from the historic centre of Sutri, in Italy's Tuscia. Come back from a morning in the archaeological park and the wellness area is where the day resets, with a Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, emotional showers, massage room, and a gym. Sit down at II Calice del Re, where the kitchen cooks the region as it eats, and a meal becomes a proper introduction to Tuscia. Take a room with the view over the Bassa Tuscia park and save the panoramic veranda for the end of the day, when the light drops over the greenery. Book Best Western Plus Carolus Park Hotel and let this quiet corner of Lazio reveal itself slowly.
