we booked a night on the way to the 'snow' in suisse. Late arrival but easy to find a free parking - where do you find a free parking!? Resto just closed but the barman managed to get us a nice Ceasar Salad and gave excellent service. Rooms are spacious and clean, free coffee! in short excellent price quality. Do walk over the bridge!

We had a one night stay at this hotel. It was easy to find, we had free parking in the attached garage and the room was very well laid out. The hotel lobby area and rooms look new or newly renovated. Great water pressure, quiet room, comfortable temperature control and nice amenities.

We stayed here end of June 2020 for several days. We had a spacious room with a lateral but generous view of the Rhine. The hotel is situated a few hundred meters from the German-Swiss border and a few kilometers from the centre of Basel, with an excellent connection by tram, line 8. The building is part of a shopping centre with many shops, including a huge supermarket and a parking garage which is accessible for hotel guests free (!) of charge. Generous breakfast for 10 euro per person. The hote has a very nice terrace on the 6th floor overlooking the Rhine where we had dinner several times, generous portions at a very reasonable cost, but do not expect three star type of cuisine. When we were there the place was still in Coronavirus-containment mode but the staff both of the hotel and the restaurant managed to demonstrate outstanding hospitality and service nevertheless. The shoppingcenter is open from 8hr30 till 22hr00 and it tends to get very very busy so because of Coronaconcerns we have avoided going there. Whenever we wish to visit the Basel region in future by car this hotel will be top of our list.

We stayed 2 nights at Best Western (when visiting Basel), and overall had a very good stay. Check-in/Reception was a bit hard to find (on level 6), but Check-in staff were good, while the staff in the bar & restaurant were excellent. Meals were excellent. The room was large & very comfortable. Self parking is secure & free. Buffet breakfast was very good. Although this is advertised as a smoke-free hotel, the smell of cigarette smoke was still quite obvious around the lifts/stairs, which is probably due to the hotel being joined to a shopping precinct.

first we lost the gate and its far away from car park if you have many bags it is headace . The room was excellent clean. Staff was not happy when you ask them, if you not check out 11:00 AM on time they will bother calling you by telephone many time. location ok , the mall under the hotel because hotel in 6th floor. i recommend just 1 or 2 nights , i will not come again.

Arrived from Basel SBB by tram no. 8 ( tram stop “Dreiländerbrücke” is 100 meters away from the hotel ). It is located on the upper floors ( reception on the 6th floor ) of the shopping mall complex “Rhein-Center”. Friendly and fast check-in ( my room was ready at noon ). Spacious, modern and perfectly clean room with air-conditioning. Comfy and big bed. Reasonable rates. A good option, if you visit the Greater Basel area or flying from the Euroairport.

If you don't want to get stung by the prices in Basel, this is actually a great place to get a room for a night. Don't be fooled by the environment, or by the 1980's esque outside, inside when you get the lift up, you'll be greeted by welcoming staff, and a great room which will be large and spacious. (I had a free rituals pack in my room). The bar is fully stocked with knowledgeable staff and I recommend evening dinner there, the menu is simple and uncomplicated. My only challenge was the warm food options for breakfast, it was processed and the chef hasn't mastered the art of scrambled eggs yet !!! However the continental selection is more than adequate. The hotel is close to tram stops that will take you easily in Basel city centre. I stay here for business but would recommend it as a definite value location.

Our May 2019 visit was a complete surprise that went against all expectations. We originally wanted to stay in Basel but because of an international symposium everything was booked in the city. We reluctantly booked this hotel instead and boy, were we pleasantly surprised! A very nice business hotel located inside a thriving and fun to visit shopping mall, right across the river from Basel. The staff must have been trained by the Four Seasons — unfailingly polite, cheerful and helpful, they really made the visit special. The location turned out not to be a disadvantage because there is a tram stop right outside the hotel with frequently running trams that take you to the center of Basel in minutes — very easy, quick and convenient, made us feel so close and part of Basel that it was easy to forget we were in Germany, not Switzerland. We drove to the hotel, and while the GPS / satnav got us to the location correctly, we did not see outdoor signage for the Best Western. Another hotel is listed together with a lot of signs for mall businesses. If you are going to arrive by car it's probably best to call ahead and ask for visual cues to find the (free) parking entrance and instructions on how to get to the hotel reception, which is well marked after you figure out where to go.

We spend a night end of April 2019. This is mainly a business or short stay hotel very convenient if you need to be close to Basel and with a very good quality/price ratio. Our romm was huge, modern, probablu recently refurbished, well appointed and very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect in this hotel category. The property is situated with a shopping mall on floors 5, 6, 7 and so is is a little confusing at first, but signage is consistent in order to reach the reception and restaurant on floor 6. Parking is free of charge in the mall parking lot another plus. We had both dinner and lunch at the hotel and while dinner can be a bit overpriced, breakfast was huge and very weill priced at 10 € pp. We enjoyed both! Staff are nice and welcoming. In all a very good choice for a short stay.

Well located hotel for Baselword. We traveled as a family and had a triple room. Spotlessly clean and ideal for an overnight stay. The no 8 tram goes direct to Basel from outside the front of the hotel. Access to the hotel reception on the 6th floor via the shopping mall. Very friendly and helpful staff - special thank you to Lee who helped us with restaurant recommendations and transport questions.
