Best Western Hotel Dreilaenderbruecke

Victoria upgraded our room we had a suite kitchen overlooking the Rhine! It was very hot and ZERO air conditioning! Bring your own face cloth as they do not use them apparently 🤷‍♀️. The housekeeping could have been better there were 2 HUGE SPIDERS 🕷️ on behind the bathroom door and one up near the top of the bathroom window 🫪 I called the front desk and they handled the problem but UGH . The location is right next to the mall we spent a lot of time in the air conditioned mall!!

This is a nice hotel . It's very modern and clean, the rooms are spacious. It's very close to Euro Airport (Basel) and attached to a shopping complex with access to many food options. There is a restaurant on the 6th floor (we are there and I don't recommend it). The downside is access. The hotel is located on floors 5-8 of a tower. You need to park on floor 6 of the shopping complex. Take the Cato down tj the ground, walk through the parking garage and take a different elevator to hotel reception on floor 6. It's a bit confusing to find and not super quick or convenient after a long day of travelling. That aside, I'd stay there again because the rooms were quite nice.

We stayed only for one night as a stop off from exploring Switzerland for a couple of days. Its location for Basel which we explored on day 3 was ideal. We did have good intention to make use of the free parking and get public transport into the city which is absolutely doable from here and relatively cheap. However as a party of 3 it still worked out significantly cheaper for us to just drive into the city and park which is what we did. There isn't a hard border control at this part of the crossing. There were also a variety of places to eat from Subway, McDonald's and a number of Kebab places. Our room was very spacious and very much like a small apartment with a separate entrance hall and kitchenette. The kitchen would have been perfect if it had a microwave but it just had a hob cooker and a fridge which also served as a minibar with fairly respectable prices. Given however we had two large supermarkets under our feet within the same complex - it didn't make sense for us to use it. Back to the room which was very clean and had both a decent sized main bed and a good sized sofa bed. There was also air conditioning which was very much needed! Nice little welcome Haribo sweets too on the bed. Only downside of the room was the bathroom which had a few broken tiles and the shower head was leaking but it was still fully serviceable. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and at times felt like a hard bit of cardboard but these beds seem to be standard around these parts. We had a lovely view across to France. None of the advertised TV channels worked but the WiFi was good and we just watched Netflix on our tablets. Check in was easy enough but don't bother trying to check in ahead of time unless you paid for early check in (we didn't know what was a thing here as we booked with a third party) but we could use the car park from when we arrived. At the time of writing the 5th floor of the car park is completely out of bounds due to construction and so you have to park on the 6th floor as a hotel guest. By the evening spaces were getting limited. General atmosphere of the hotel is hard to gauge due to the unique layout of essentially being based within a shopping centre. Would absolutely recommend the hotel for the location and it being fairly reasonably priced and well maintained in the main.

We Stayed fór 2 days at this hotel, everything was perfect Most of all the customer servíce and the suggestions at the check in and during our stay from JJ at reception. We will definetely come back

Great experience, JJ from front desk was so nice and helpfull, he even helped us plan the rest of our trip, He made our trip unforgettable. Would advise anyone this hotel.

We have stayed for two nights and we had a great experience Our flight from new york was stressful but the service received at check in from the Italian guy was excellent He tried his best to let us check in in advance and he remembered our name the day after Also the staff at restaurant is to recognize Great location and very excellent professional staff We will come back

The room was very large, albeit with sloping ceilings to the floor, at the end of the corridor. Loads of room for the three of us, including a large fold out bed. A little packet of sweets were left on each pillow. The gentleman on reception at check-in was great, spoke English and gave me daughter an ice lolly on what was an incredibly warm evening. The a/c worked well and was much appreciated. Bed was comfy and the shower excellent. Breakfast was €16 adults + €5 for children, and was good value. Decent choice and good quality. We are outside with view over the river. Car parking is a slight faff. You need to park on Level 5 then go down the elevator to the ground floor, walk back to the car park entrance, and take another lift to the hotel reception in the 6th floor. However it's free and the overall experience was definitely positive.

Lovely large rooms, friendly staff Delicious breakfast and dinner. Wide choice... The hotel is ideally located. Close to Basle but still quiet. Ideal base to visit downtown Basle...... Instant response from staff when questions arise.

Great hotel to relax prior to getting on Viking Cruise in Basel . spent 2 days with enough time to go to Lucerne via high speed train!

Hotel a little hard to spot as it is situated in a building right next to a big parking garage of a shopping center, on the 4th to the 7th floor. The hotel is quiet, no noise from the street! Very nice and very clean modern rooms. Besides the coffee, the breakfast buffet was good, a lot of food , a good variety (cold, warm, fruit....). The staff friendly and helpful. Free parking! I would not hesitate to stay there again!

We stayed in a family room for 4 persons. The room was nice and spacious and had one small room with a bed that was practical. The bathroom could use a renovation but was clean. The breakfast was great. A nice experience and free parking on the 6th floor.

we booked a night on the way to the 'snow' in suisse. Late arrival but easy to find a free parking - where do you find a free parking!? Resto just closed but the barman managed to get us a nice Ceasar Salad and gave excellent service. Rooms are spacious and clean, free coffee! in short excellent price quality. Do walk over the bridge!

We had a one night stay at this hotel. It was easy to find, we had free parking in the attached garage and the room was very well laid out. The hotel lobby area and rooms look new or newly renovated. Great water pressure, quiet room, comfortable temperature control and nice amenities.

We stayed here end of June 2020 for several days. We had a spacious room with a lateral but generous view of the Rhine. The hotel is situated a few hundred meters from the German-Swiss border and a few kilometers from the centre of Basel, with an excellent connection by tram, line 8. The building is part of a shopping centre with many shops, including a huge supermarket and a parking garage which is accessible for hotel guests free (!) of charge. Generous breakfast for 10 euro per person. The hote has a very nice terrace on the 6th floor overlooking the Rhine where we had dinner several times, generous portions at a very reasonable cost, but do not expect three star type of cuisine. When we were there the place was still in Coronavirus-containment mode but the staff both of the hotel and the restaurant managed to demonstrate outstanding hospitality and service nevertheless. The shoppingcenter is open from 8hr30 till 22hr00 and it tends to get very very busy so because of Coronaconcerns we have avoided going there. Whenever we wish to visit the Basel region in future by car this hotel will be top of our list.

We stayed 2 nights at Best Western (when visiting Basel), and overall had a very good stay. Check-in/Reception was a bit hard to find (on level 6), but Check-in staff were good, while the staff in the bar & restaurant were excellent. Meals were excellent. The room was large & very comfortable. Self parking is secure & free. Buffet breakfast was very good. Although this is advertised as a smoke-free hotel, the smell of cigarette smoke was still quite obvious around the lifts/stairs, which is probably due to the hotel being joined to a shopping precinct.

first we lost the gate and its far away from car park if you have many bags it is headace . The room was excellent clean. Staff was not happy when you ask them, if you not check out 11:00 AM on time they will bother calling you by telephone many time. location ok , the mall under the hotel because hotel in 6th floor. i recommend just 1 or 2 nights , i will not come again.

Arrived from Basel SBB by tram no. 8 ( tram stop “Dreiländerbrücke” is 100 meters away from the hotel ). It is located on the upper floors ( reception on the 6th floor ) of the shopping mall complex “Rhein-Center”. Friendly and fast check-in ( my room was ready at noon ). Spacious, modern and perfectly clean room with air-conditioning. Comfy and big bed. Reasonable rates. A good option, if you visit the Greater Basel area or flying from the Euroairport.

If you don't want to get stung by the prices in Basel, this is actually a great place to get a room for a night. Don't be fooled by the environment, or by the 1980's esque outside, inside when you get the lift up, you'll be greeted by welcoming staff, and a great room which will be large and spacious. (I had a free rituals pack in my room). The bar is fully stocked with knowledgeable staff and I recommend evening dinner there, the menu is simple and uncomplicated. My only challenge was the warm food options for breakfast, it was processed and the chef hasn't mastered the art of scrambled eggs yet !!! However the continental selection is more than adequate. The hotel is close to tram stops that will take you easily in Basel city centre. I stay here for business but would recommend it as a definite value location.

Our May 2019 visit was a complete surprise that went against all expectations. We originally wanted to stay in Basel but because of an international symposium everything was booked in the city. We reluctantly booked this hotel instead and boy, were we pleasantly surprised! A very nice business hotel located inside a thriving and fun to visit shopping mall, right across the river from Basel. The staff must have been trained by the Four Seasons — unfailingly polite, cheerful and helpful, they really made the visit special. The location turned out not to be a disadvantage because there is a tram stop right outside the hotel with frequently running trams that take you to the center of Basel in minutes — very easy, quick and convenient, made us feel so close and part of Basel that it was easy to forget we were in Germany, not Switzerland. We drove to the hotel, and while the GPS / satnav got us to the location correctly, we did not see outdoor signage for the Best Western. Another hotel is listed together with a lot of signs for mall businesses. If you are going to arrive by car it's probably best to call ahead and ask for visual cues to find the (free) parking entrance and instructions on how to get to the hotel reception, which is well marked after you figure out where to go.

We spend a night end of April 2019. This is mainly a business or short stay hotel very convenient if you need to be close to Basel and with a very good quality/price ratio. Our romm was huge, modern, probablu recently refurbished, well appointed and very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect in this hotel category. The property is situated with a shopping mall on floors 5, 6, 7 and so is is a little confusing at first, but signage is consistent in order to reach the reception and restaurant on floor 6. Parking is free of charge in the mall parking lot another plus. We had both dinner and lunch at the hotel and while dinner can be a bit overpriced, breakfast was huge and very weill priced at 10 € pp. We enjoyed both! Staff are nice and welcoming. In all a very good choice for a short stay.

Well located hotel for Baselword. We traveled as a family and had a triple room. Spotlessly clean and ideal for an overnight stay. The no 8 tram goes direct to Basel from outside the front of the hotel. Access to the hotel reception on the 6th floor via the shopping mall. Very friendly and helpful staff - special thank you to Lee who helped us with restaurant recommendations and transport questions.

This is a very nice 4 stars hotel just outside Basel. You can go to Basel town centre with a tram just outside the hotel. The shopping centre is right in the hotel. A bit tricky to find the hotel, a small door next to mall entrance, but other than that, there is a good size rooms, clean, parking available, free wifi, and the staff very nice and helpful.

This is a good budget hotel if you need somewhere comfortable to stay and you're not fussed about the atmosphere. I was surprised how well decked out the rooms are given that the outside looked like a dump. The breakfasts were also surprisingly good with a lovely outside patio if you wanted. The rooms were uncomfortably hot with no temperature controls in the room, which I really did not like. I'll not be in a rush to stay here again unless other options are booked up.

We used this hotel as a 2 night stopover prior to a river cruise. Being so close to Basel and the Klybeck docks it's ideal and you're protected from high Swiss prices. It's also not a bad taxi ride from the airport - exit French side. There has been plenty documented on its location above a shopping centre and the way in being far from glamorous (so i won't dwell on that) but if you persevere, you'lll find a spacious airy hotel that is really comfortable and friendly. Reception is on the 6th floor and the 2 lifts either side of the road into the shopping centre take you up there. Accommodation is on floors 4,5,6. it has a restaurant and bar although disappointingly the night we dined there was no a la carte and purely quite a limited buffet and Mediterranean specials menu which was slightly disappointing but we managed to find something. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious with good showers and the addition of a kettle / tea facilities. Breakfast was pretty good with a range of hot and cold items and was served til 10.00 during the week. Its an extra 10 Euro added to the bill which is very good value for the quality. Overall we really enjoyed the stay and would happily return. The only reason I have marked this down from excellent was because of the quite limited food offering.

This is a great hotel with very spacious rooms. We only stayed for one night. The hotel is located on top of the shopping centre. There is a nice park accross the road and you can also go for a nice stroll along the river. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly.
