Very clean hotel. Centrally located next to Old Town Temecula. Everything was within walking distance. The hotel had the usual literature on what is going on in town with emphasis on the Wineries and Pechanga Casino. The staff as very friendly and helpful. You can't beat the price. We visit Temecula at least twice a year and this Best Western Plus was great.
very clean finishing for everything smiling receptionist very clean delicious breakfast free electric car charging what can we ask for more??? i am extremely satisfied thanks best Western Plus for the incredible service we will continue to comeback Tony K
We enjoyed our stay, including the fitness center and pool. Good choices for breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, with a larger screen TV than most budget priced hotels. Walkable distance to Old Town Temecula with lots of shops and restaurants.
Love staying here when visiting Temecula. Great breakfast options and comfy pillows and bed. Have stayed here many times. Close to the wineries and short drive to downtown Temecula is a must! Lots of shops , bars and must visit speakeasy's !
Stayed 1 night for a soccer tournament. We had to wake up super early and needed a good nights sleep. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and our neighbors came stumbling in at midnight and I could hear every step, conversation, bathroom visit until 3am. Would not recommend staying here for $300 a night
Check in is 3pm. We arrived at 3:30pm and the lady at the desk said, “Let me see if I have any clean rooms ready”. Physically got up, went up the elevator to check. Came back and said,” I have one ready.” Room floor needed to be swept. Shower floor had ground in dirt. Hallway floor was dirty the two days we stayed. We used the stairs since the elevator took forever and the stairwell floor was dirty. The indoor pool felt like a sauna and the water was cloudy. My 4 year old said, “Ew.” We used the pool where our friends were staying the, Residence Inn by Marriott, which was outside and clean! No sheets provided for the pullout bed. Went downstairs to ask for a blanket and was handed a sheet. I can't make this stuff up! Next day upon returning from our friends hotel pool our keys didn't work. There was a gap around the door. I attached pictures. Unfortunately, I may be done with Best Westerns. They've always been so great in the past like you can't go wrong at a Best Western but this is the third one I've stayed at within the past 6 months and they haven't been great. This is the only one I reviewed because it was by far the worst.
Hotel is walking distance to Front Street, close to bars, restaurants and many shops. Front desk made recommendations for dinner and drinks.
We were kept up all night by man in the room next to us. He was having a party with a prostitute and her pimp. We reported to front desk twice and nothing was done about it. We rented room so we could sleep and drive back to Az in the morning. And we didn't get any sleep because of the room next door.
This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Old Town Temecula; however, it is apparent that this is a very old hotel that has had a minimal update. That being said, I discovered that if I'd driven a few miles away (although, not in walking distance, but still close to Old Town Temecula) we could have stayed in a newer hotel for a lower nightly rate. Basically, we had a comfortable overnight stay without issues, but we could have stayed in a newer property for less.
great place to stay for a simple, clean and friendly stay in the heart of old town temecula. Felt safe and secured parking in the evening because of only one way in and out, and secured door to lobby entrance. Walking distance to Old Town and nice simple breakfast option. Clean and tidy. Nice room plenty of space, modern looking and clean with plenty of storage. Large nice bathroom too.
This hotel is very close to Old Town Temecula. That makes for several dinner choices and a fun atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is better than many other hotels. The hotel is ready for upgrading. I hope that is in the near future.
Big and comfy rooms, great free breakfast with assortment of hot and cold items, quiet hotel, great location and courteous staff. Pamela made our stay enjoyable and was super helpful when we needed a few extra items for the room. Location is central to freeway, wine country and just around the corner from Old Town Temecula. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in town.
This was my 3rd stay at this facility (the first one was good, the second one awful, this one was terrific). The tone is set at check in, where we were greeted by Ellie at the front desk who made us feel welcomed. We stayed in a King room (mini-suite type room) on the 3rd floor. Spacious room with a mini fridge, microwave and safe. Pullout couch. Plenty of USB ports, at the desk as well as on both sides of the bed. Nice touch with the bedside reading lights, so you can read in bed if your partner is sleeping. Really comfortable bed and pillows. Extra blanket in closet. Iron and ironing board. Alarm clock. In room coffee maker (pods). Spacious bathroom (the counter is a bit small) with a quite large shower with a rain shower head. Large fluffy towels, hairdryer. Very quiet air conditioning. The breakfast area is clean and inviting, with a wide variety of food and beverage offerings, with both indoor and outdoor dining areas. ) Plenty of parking. Easy walk to Old Town and if you're a little more adventurous, you can even walk to Longhorn Steakhouse or the brewery by the duck pond. The staff was quite friendly and helpful.
This hotel is in a great location, but the rooms were not clean. Cigarettes and random things were in the couches and the bathroom was not clean. Reported it to the front desk but nothing was done. Would not stay here again.
Excellent experience, excellent conditions, breakfast included which was delicious, pool and fitness available excellent condition, the room was very clean, the bathroom was very clean, excellent quality on towels.
Excellent value, clean rooms, and very nice! Very Courteous staff at check in. Quiet and not too close to freeway witch is nice but not too far as well so ease of access to freeway is not an issue. Overall I would recommend this location!
Great staff, clean & well-appointed room, well-stocked breakfast at perfect temperature for hot foods (not cold or dried out), in great location. Will stay here again in the future & highly recommend to others.
I got a room with a king size bed which also had a seperate sitting area. My room was very comfortable and quiet. Wish the vending machine worked as well as wish there had been an ice machine on the 3rd floor instead of having to go down to the 2nd floor. Maggie who took care of the eating area was exceptional!
Nice modern rooms, very clean. Nice comfortable bed. Being a suite was nice. Very good breakfast. We stayed three nights and food different each morning. Staff friendly and helpful. Indoor heated pool nice.
Stayed here after Christmas for 2 nights in a 1 king bed suite that I booked through Expedia. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Spacious, clean and quite comfortable room, especially with a separate sofa bed area for relaxing. Overall clean room, but was very surprised to see this level of damage in a newly renovated looking room, i.e. badly cracked sink, big chunk of toilet tank missing, etc. None of these things took away from the room, everything was functioning as expected, but it makes you wonder what was happening in this otherwise nice room. Really decent gym at the hotel, too. The staff were very pleasant and friendly, but the receptionists were constantly on their phones, barely noticing the guests going in and out ;) Good location within walking distance to the main restaurant strip - will probably take you 10 minutes to get to shops and restaurants. The one thing that I really disliked at this property was breakfast that is being served in the lobby. There are literally 4 small tables (2 people tables) and one longer table that can accommodate a family. With that guests had nowhere to eat, with many eating while standing and whole multi-generational families huddling over a single 2-people table, taking turns to sit and eat! Absolute madness! The buffet area, i.e. 1 countertop, was so packed that you couldn't grab coffee while someone else was waiting on their toast or grabbing cereal. Also not much consideration given to dietary restrictions, i.e. eggs were served with bacon, so very little to eat for vegetarians, never mind for vegans. The lady who was refreshing and prepping all the food, however, was doing a great job at keeping everything topped up and fresh. All in all we had a good relaxing stay here, but I'm not convinced I would return as that breakfast experience was so annoying and stressful. We haven't tried it during our short stay, but there is a breakfast cafe/ restaurant just next door that seems to open early.
Looking for a nice clean place to stay within walking distance from Old Town Temecula?? Well this is the place. The walk is less than 5 minutes. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.
This was the perfect place to stay for a wine tasting, antique hunting weekend. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was hot and hit the spot. Parking was plentiful and easy to negotiate. Old town is within walking distance, so there's plenty to do close by.
I like best westerns. This one was clean and ready on arrival. Just wish front desk was more friendly and attentive. Walls are thin so we definitely could hear everything our neighbors did. House keeping was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.
Excellent mattress, bed, comfort, quiet, seclusion, service, employees. Everything was perfect - could not have been better. We were welcomed as rewards members, were treated kindly and with consideration. Could not have wished for more.
Expected higher than average amenities. We have stayed at other BW Plus Hotels. This was really lacking in ambiance and amenities. The pool was pathetic, dark and dreary. Would never consider using it.
The rooms were nice for the price point, and the location is within walking distance of old town. We enjoyed the indoor pool and complimentary breakfast. There are snack available for purchase in the lobby and “room service” is provided by Pizza Factory ( a local restaurant ).
This hotel was a pleasure. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and all of the facilities and amenities were attractive and up-to-date. It was an especially good deal for the price. The only thing that I wouldn't call outstanding was the view out of our window. It looked out on the wall of a warehouse next-door.
First off my number one thing - the bed was very comfortable. I have a bad back and I MUST have a comfortable bed. This one worked without me having to pile pillows around me to keep my back out of wack. The room was clean and quiet. We did have to wait longer than usual to check in but we had things to do so it did not deter us. We did not make it down for breakfast so I can't say anything about that. Parking is easy here but spots do fill up fast. Close to all the places in downtown Temecula, very walkable.
Exceptional! Everything I needed was available, was the right size for myself and my sister comfortable bedding clean room, thanks for a great stay! I would recommend Best Western to all my friends and family Thank You!
Ellie at the front desk went out of her way to ensure I felt at home during my stay. While I had my hands full of plates and coffee she not only pressed the elevator button but for me but she held the door and asked what floor I was on so I would not drop my breakfast that I was bringing upstairs for my family.
This place is located in the best spot. It's walking distance to downtown Temecula and a short drive to all the wineries. We stay here every year we go to Temecula. It is very clean, the staff are friendly, and the price is right. A bonus liquor store around the corner has most of the wines you'll taste at the wineries, and they'll ship it to you!
The front desk receptionist was very friendly during late check-in. The room was spacious with 2 beds and a sofa. The bathroom was nice. Breakfast was decent with hot continental breakfast. Parking was a plus if you can get the overhead covering or shade area. Convenient location. We enjoyed our stay.
Very poor breakfast. Instant coffee and disgusting light yogurt. When we asked for regular yogurt, sorry we ran out. We spent extra money thinking Best western plus meant better experience. We even had to ask for a bottled water even though we are a member.
Friendly staff, Very clean room, comfortable bed. Had refrigerator & microwave. Within walking distance of Old Town Temecula, and restaurants. Close to wineries and casinos. easy access to and from the freeway.
This hotel was outstanding in every way. Large rooms, great shower, very clean, huge t.v.: great location, outstanding complimentary breakfast. Loved the latte, espresso, cappuccino, Machine as I am fussy about coffee. The egg omelette and sausage also fresh and hot.
I checked in seamlessly on Christmas Day as my family lives close by! Check in was a breeze, the staff was kind and courteous ant the accommodations were clean and comfortable. As I descended the elevator the next morning the smell of the lovely breakfast wafted through the lobby! I would definitely stay here again!
The staff at this hotel were all very friendly and accommodating! Nichole was working the front desk when we checked in and was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The location is very convenient for food and shopping. We will definitely be returning!
Perfect location to venture into Old Town, plus a great launching point for wine country. Rooms very clean and the beds very comfortable. The large screen TV was even bigger than expected. Overall great experience.
The hotel is located approximately 4 blocks from the entrance to Old Town Temecula. The rooms were very clean, The staff were very helpful, polite, and Professional. Breakfast was good. Good variety and choices to choose from. Choose a room that does not face the street.
This hotel was stunning. Front desk staff helpful and friendly. The price was excellent. The hotel looked brand new. Room was large. The breakfast choices were good. This was the nicest Best Western I have stayed at and I have stayed at many. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
The hotel was Clean, quiet, comfortable . Price was great and will definitely stay again in the future. The staff is friendly and greets you as soon as iou walk in. Breakfast area is clean and food is great.
We stayed at Best Western Plus so that we didn't have to drive back to Whittier, the rooms were clean and amazing, Staff was great, and we even had an indoor pool that was awesome. Highly recommend anyone to stay here.
Very nice location. Walking distance to Old Town Temecula. Clean rooms, friendly staff, good amenities, indoor pool, exercise room, free internet and complimentary breakfast. Very close to the wineries and the Promenade shopping mall.
Stayed at the best western Temecula for three nights 26th May - 29th May the rooms in this hotel were spotless and very modern, had everything you needed for your stay. Breakfast as it says “grab and go”, Gina at breakfast was so welcoming and very attentive! rest of staff pleasant too. Not far to Temecula old town, five minutes walk plenty eating places and stunning wineries nearby. Town authentic and gave a sense of the history from this area. The only negative I did have no external seating area
Convenient location with lots of lunch/dinner options close by. Room was clean, bedding comfortable. Go somewhere else for breakfast. Only ice machine is by elevator to 2nd floor which didn't make me feel comfortable as an elderly woman
Hotel is clean and friendly. While the rooms are not fancy, they are a good size, have a nice couch to watch tv, a desk, closet and plenty of drawers. Breakfast is typical free hotel fare, but it is certainly a nice add-on as it is included with the room rate. Super close to old town. Very much walk-in distance which is best aspect for the hotel. About 5 minutes and you are in the heart of old town. Very nice little hotel for the rate and a couple of nights. One drawback is you are about 10 minutes from the wineries, without traffic. If you want to stay in wine country, you will need to stay at one of the attached resorts at one of the larger wineries. Rooms are a little nicer, but also more expensive. And, if you are going in to old town you will have to drive and park, or take an Uber. Both options have pluses and minuses.
Came in for a wedding and this hotel was recommended. Was not the Best Western I remembered staying at years ago. The rooms were amazingly roomy and clean. Breakfast was amazing! Great choices every day!
This hotel is in an excellent location to both Old Town Temecula (we were able to walk to Old Town for shopping and dinner) and only a 15 minute drive to Rancho California Rd and the Wineries. Also located across the street from a Gas Station and less than 10 minutes from a Target and Grocery Store. The Service was very friendly and they were extremely helpful (helped me carry our breakfast to our room because I forgot my tray)! Front desk was professional and always had a smile on their face. A very pleasant experience.
I stayed one night here for family trip. Location is great. It is walking distance from Temecula Old Town and it was a big benefit that you can go there from early morning. I wanted to visit farmer's market opening from 8:30 and it took only 7minutes from hotel. Room was quite clean and looked like recently renovated. Water pressure of shower was quite strong. Breakfast was better than I've expected to a budget hotel. Fruit, waffle and many other foods were quite fresh. All in all, I was quite satisfied and will definitely stay again when I come back to Temecula!
We were able to walk to dinner and around old town. It's only a half mile away from this location. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the lighting and decor of the room and that there was no carpet. The coffee was good and there was an option of almond milk. There were quite a few breakfast options so I like that it wasn't just a pastry, juice and coffee. The young gentleman that checked us in was cheerful, friendly and efficient. There are two electric vehicle charging stations.
Don't ever stay here! We had freezing cold and brown water the entire stay. The had issues with the water heater and knew about it when we checked in and failed to mention it. And all they offered was 30% off and hotel points.
I book a meeting at this hotel every 2 months and I've never had any problems. They have an amazing staff and the property is well maintained. I would highly recommend this location to anyone that is looking to this area. Its super close to great restaurants and hidden enough to have your own privacy.
I enjoyed everything about my stay. I was very comfortable in my king suite & the king bed was AMAZING & sheets smelled very fresh. The floors & restroom were extremely clean & sanitized. Overall, I loved my stay.
Room was comfortable and had a sitting area away from the bed. Within walking distance to Temecula old town. The TV doesn't allow for the guide to be on screen and then select a show from the guide, have to input the number.
Stayed here on a weeknight. The hotel decor was modern and featured wine country-theme accents. The exterior of the building even looks a bit like a mission, which is lovely. Parking lot is mostly enclosed by a wall, which feels safer. Room was comfortable and well-decorated; pillows were super soft and luxurious, and the entire hotel was VERY clean. i would be happy to stay here again, and to recommend this hotel to others.
Hubby and I decided on a last minute weekend getaway. We wanted to visit the wineries in Temecula and also check out the nightlife in Oldtown. Because of the last minute book we were having a hard time finding a room central to everything and that did not cost an arm and a leg. This hotel was within our budget, but I wasn't thrilled about staying at a Best Western. The rooms were very clean and modern. Location is .3 miles from oldtown. We were able to walk to the bars. Pleasant stay.
As soon as we walked in to the reservation front desk (to obtain our room key), the lady at the front desk was anything but professional. She never greeted our group, and had an attitude like she did not want to be there. What started as my fun anniversary trip, turned into a sour experience. Without saying any other word, she handed me my room key and said there were no rooms on the 3rd floor. I came with a group of 8 and we all tried to get on the same floor. Okay, so I took my key card and then realized she started offering everyone else rooms on the 3rd floor (even though she told me there were no rooms on the 3rd floor available). I then approached her and told her I wanted my room changed to the 3rd floor. She said THERE ARE NO ROOMS ON THE 3RD FLOOR!” I then told her, that's funny, how come you Ed been offering everyone else a room on the 3rd floor? She refused to explain and had the worst attitude. I then became furious and asked her for the Manager's number. She threw the card with the manager info and said “he's not available though” with a sarcastic attitude. So rude and obnoxious. So surprised that Best Western would hire such an unqualified person AT THE FRONT DESK of all places!!!!! I will never return here!! I recommend you guys look elsewhere as they do mot practice good customer service here. So disappointing.
It doesn't have to be perfect. I suggest that staff have a uniform. Get more quality items and provide ATLEAST free water or a canteen refill station. The mini fridge had an odd smell. It felt like I was entering a cafeteria. It's just a very odd set up. No lounging furniture in the lobby. Just picnic tables and chair. It has ALOT OF POTENTIAL. Just needs to be updated ASAP.
Large, clean, and comfortable rooms in a good location at the end of Old Town Temecula making it easily walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Small indoor pool and fitness area available. Grab and go breakfast available in the morning. Excellent value for the cost, quality, and location.
Fantastic property in Temecula. CA. . Great prices at this hotel. My absolute favorite hotel in Temecula. You couldn't asked for a better hotel. Everything is amazing from the staff to the beds. very comfortable beds and pillows. Yeah. Beautiful rooms. Also centrally located to downtown shops - you can walk to the cute downtown. Close to the freeway as well.
The hotel looks great. For me, even two days after, I can smell the perfume from the room permeating my clothes and personal effects. The sheets and pillows are heavily scented. But really, it comes from everywhere. I think it's a vicious combination of what they use the clean the rooms, piped into the room as air fragrance, and as previously mentioned, the linens. Couldn't breathe most of the time I was in there. Hellish.
We love Temecula's wine country. We visit at least once a year. We use this location every visit because of its very convenient location. It is modern and clean. My husband absolutely loves the beds and pillows. We feel very comfortable and welcome with every visit.
Great property, easy parking, nice hotel, the room was spacious and comfortable, the TV was large for easy viewing, the bed was extremely comfortable, my bathroom had a bathtub which I love very much, everything in the room worked and was clean.
Came to spend some time at the local casino and found that this hotel right off the 15 was in proximity to everything. Right next to old town front street if you like to party at night and dine in the afternoon. Many other shops and restaurants at every turn. Great location. Less than 10 minutes from pechenga casino. Its also very clean. Seems like a fairly new hotel or maybe they remodeled but it's very quiet and comfy. Well decorated rooms, huge tv and even the bathroom amenities were nice. We had plenty of towels also. The front desk staff could be more friendly and courteous we had to call them 2 times for them to send housekeeping. There is breakfast but is was grab and go. The choices were nice though. I did find it inconvenient that they turn of the coffee machine at 9 am. Hotels usually have coffee available all day, But there is a Denny's and a gas station directly across from the hotel need you want anything. On-site parking is ample if you arrive early enough. The location itself is worth the 4 stars. I took off one for the rude staff
Lacrosse tournament took us to Temecula. The Night manager was rude. Later we tried to obtain his name and they said - we don't have a Night manager. The other lacrosse families were given to go breakfast with frozen sandwiches. They asked for towels & bedding but were told they had to pick up at front desk. Rooms were over $321 & bad front desk service. We reported the situation.
Room and service was average. We stayed in a double queen bedroom. Beds were very comfortable. We also had a sofa bed in our room but it wasn't used. Bathroom amenities, fixtures and space was very good. Coffee and morning amenities are provided but we didn't partake. Great location to old town Temecula. Considering the price of other hotels in the area, after CA lifting COVID protocols, this price was good.
The room was spacious, modern, and clean. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Free parking. Overall, it exceed my expectation. The hotel is also in a walking distance to Old Town street, which is a plus.
Suites are smaller then pictures show walls are extremely thin can hear everything single noise outside my room and from the next room over and across the hall!!! Paid WAY TO MUCH AND FEEL RIPPED OFF for the amount I paid for 3 nights nothing was open
We came into town around 130 145 And the first thing she screams out is Check in is not until 3pm. I said I understand I have worked for many hotels for the last 20 years and now am I a travel agent. So I was thinking we can do a pre check in and come back later. With her stone cold face she said no that would be a extra charge of 20 dollars. I said to pre check in? Wow. Never heard of this. Since a pre check in. Is just getting the paper work done. She really ruined our attitude I don't even want to stay here now. Nor refer people to you Should have stuck with the embassy suites. Please train your staff in customer service.
Stayed here in early February. I dropped one of my diamond stud earrings down the drain in the bathroom. The woman at the front desk said she would have maintenance check and see if it could be retrieved. I had to return home, but a couple of hours later I received a call letting me know they were able to find my earrings, and that they would mail them to me. They took a little while to arrive, but I was so pleased when they did. The location is great- right next to all of the stores and restaurants in Old Temecula. Very reasonable prices too compared to the rates at the wineries.
Staff was not welcoming or pleasant. One girl was more interested in visiting with her friend in the lobby than taking care of customers. Took a long time to answer phone calls when we called down for service.
Clean rooms. Friendly staff! Conveniently located with easy access to the highway. The only issue is the thin walls. This didn't bother me much because I'm a heavy sleeper but some may be unable to overlook this.
Clean and nice hotel, but extremely loud doors and thin walls will keep you up all night. Pack ear plugs. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Close to Old Temecula and walking distance to bars and restaurants. Just keep in mind you may be up all night if you have noisy neighbors.
I liked the location of this hotel, I would say it's pretty central to everything (fast food, restaurants, wineries, and a petting zoo). The room décor is modern and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. I loved that they had a delicious Italian food restaurant within waking distance as well as a great little Mexican whole in the wall restaurant with really good tacos.
This hotel is great. The room was very clean which is very important with these COVID times. The front desk staff is very nice and welcoming and helped answer all my questions about the area. Great location as well near old town.
Randy did not let us check in the hotel after 12AM even though the next morning the hotel confirmed they have a 24 hour check in policy. I had to drive 2 hours back home to sleep because it was after midnight other hotels would not sell me room. Hotel won't refund my money back. This is robbery and theft and the file has been handed to my attorney to recoup damages.
The hotel is angled between a busy road and the freeway so both sides are noisy. From the room, you hear people in the hallway and you hear every did t open and slam shut. Desk staff helped on demand only. Furniture felt cheap, colors and lighting were gross. On the bright side, bed was comfortable, large TV with a few premium channels, good location for walking into town.
Stayed 1 night on the 3rd floor without any incident. The room feels big with a nice big couch area, microwave and fridge tastefully hidden and a super comfy bed. We feel totally safe as we observed COVID protocol being followed the moment we checked in..We received a simple ToGo Grab bag for breakfast due to Covid protocol which is perfect...Food is also within walking distance with Dennys across the street and breakfast bakery next door if one chooses to dine out . Will stay here again.
Do not stay here!! You're better off staying at a motel! My friend and I stayed for one night on the first floor of the building and I knew this hotel was close to the Temecula wineries. For starters the power went off completely at least twice in the evening. Maybe off 20 minutes each time. 2. Our room must've been below a staircase since all we heard were footsteps above our room. Probably because they closed the elevator down with the off and on power glitches. 3. The hotel is very close to the highway and you could here every motorcycle, police siren and ambulance that passed by. Sounded like we were in ghetto. 4. Late in the evening as we were sleeping we were awoken by a drunken screaming match right outside our window and 5. Every time the power went off the TV and free wifi stopped working. SAVE your money. Go somewhere else!!
For the price we paid for this hotel is good enough. The room was clean and beddings were white linen which was a kudos for me. I can see if any insects or dirt visible. It was a walking distance to old town Temecula. Due to Covid no breakfast . Hope they could have reimbursed us for breakfast around the area since they advertised breakfast included. Over all is was good.
Our room was very nice and clean. The reason for the 3 star rating is the way they are handling breakfast. I always count on a breakfast at my hotel to save me money so I don't have to buy a breakfast. But one danish, an apple, and a bottle of water doesn't cut it. There are many ways they could handle breakfast during Coronavirus times. They could make arrangements for a free or discounted breakfast at the Denny's that literally in the same parking lot. Offer frozen, individually wrapped breakfast sandwiches that we microwave in the room. Tons of options. But a piddly danish and water doesn't cut it. We had to spend $30 more to get 2 breakfasts at Dennys, over and above the inflated price I had to pay for this room.
There were two females fighting, the fighting was vicious as one female was pulling the other females hair through a closed door for over an hour. Profanity, screaming and kicking at each other. The front desk clerk came and threatened to call the police but the police came and let with a female left in the room who then began threatening everyone with statements such as “ I'm going to call my son who is going to smoke you, I know what room your staying in tonight, he's gonna get you”. This ordeal went on for over four hours and it started at 2:00 a.m. in the morning we opened the door to find cups of wine with a post it note describing that we should enjoy the wine because we were going to die. This should not be happening! What did management or Best Western say “there's no manager on site, can you give us a chance to improve our service?
2 day vacation .. stayed at the Temecula Wine Country location.. was very happy with the stay I would definitly stay here again in the future.. Dennys right next door.. staff was very friendly and attentive
This was a very nice place. Good prices and very friendly people and helpful as well. We had two queen beds and a pullout sofa. I loved that the rooms were not carpeted. They were very clean rooms and the shower was perfect. They offered a very nice breakfast in the morning. Something for everyone I believe. Safe walking around the hotel and plenty of parking. Great for walking through old town area.
We chose the hotel based on its rating and past experiences. Sadly, we won't stay there again. Arriving after a days drive we checked in. Everything was clean, the staff pleasant, and a nice room. However. Not even 6 PM there was a loud party next door. Loud talk, yells an music. We settled in, then went to dinner. Returning, the party and noise were still going on. I called down to the front desk clerk and asked if she could get them to lower the noise. The noise dropped but then increased to louder then ever. After speaking to the desk clerk she came up with me, listened in the hallway, then in out room. Her reply that that they people denied making any noise and were irate. She then moved us to another room. We then had a few hours of peace. About 1:15 AM, a loud conversation started. This continued to almost 3 AM. There was a hour of quiet and then we hear screaming from the other side of the room. A child had a nightmare. While the screaming stopped the parents had some sort of discussion that dragged on. Either we encountered three loud groups next to us, or the walls were tissue thing. Next morning, the breakfast was good. As I said “ One Star Walls in a Five Star Hotel.”
Just entered the room and it smells heavily of smoke. I have a respiratory issue and the smoke is exacerbating the condition. I have asked to be moved to a different room and they can't accommodate the request tonight. They were apologetic and I hope to be moved tomorrow before the smells deep into my clothing and luggage. My kids are bothered by this smell too. This is disappointing.
We booked this location because it is close to Old Town Temecula. Generally we have had great experience with the Best Western chain. The room was nice but a little dusty. There seemed to be dust in the bathroom around the vanity / especially on the shelf and on the nightstands in the room. I also have a problem when I find hair left behind from the previous guest. This was in the bathroom on the floor and in the shower. I informed the receptionist but she didn't seem too concerned. On a good note the breakfast was good. We enjoy being able to have a bite to eat in the hotel. This is always a welcome treat.
We selected the Best Western Wine Country hotel due its proximity to the Temecula Valley Hospital where a family member was being treated.. It proved to be an excellent choice both for its convenience and for the quality we received for the price. We were very satisfied. The bed was very comfortable too.
Clean hotel walking distance to downtown Temecula. The room was nice and clean. Really nice showers with oversized towels toiletries, and a shower cap. I could hear the traffic and people walking upstairs but I'll stay there again because of the value, cleanliness and location.
We were there with 5 family members for a local sporting event. The hotel had excellent service for family members. We enjoyed great breakfasts, nice pool and exercise areas, plus great & friendly staff.
We were on a long trip in January and this was the best hotel on the trip. We only wish every hotel had been this nice. It has a very luxurious feeling. It's very modern and clean. The bed was soft and comfortable and we slept well.
Very nice property and friendly staff. The location is great, right next to olde towne. The breakfast is on a par with this price hotel. The only problem I had and deducting one dot, was a USB charger and cable "disappeared" after my checkout, which concerns me about items left in the room during my stay.
I Wish we could have stayed longer, look like a fun town to walk around in. Most shops did not open until 10:30am. Not to far away from major towns, leaving there you drive through some amazing sites!
Great location which is why we chose this BW. New and modern hotel, clean room, very comfortable bed, plenty storage space. Fridge did not get very cold but was OK. Nice bathroom, big vanity area, but floor not too clean. Did not see any night staff at all during our 4 night stay. Great concern was on NY's eve there was a HOMELESS WOMAN sitting in lobby watching TV & having free coffee-no security. Obviously not the first time, probably using restrooms for ablutions. Main doors should be locked after certain hour & accessibility only by electronic key to guests. Management staff not visible nor accessible. Breakfast usual BW fare-hot breakfast was cold, translucent potatoes-worst I have had at BW. Bananas bruised not fresh. B/fast staff not attentive or friendly, had to ask for replenishment a few times-staff on cellphones in kitchen. The coffee was GOOD and plentiful-which homeless woman obviously knows!!! We felt the front desk staff also indifferent, not professional-perhaps not enough hospitality training. Housekeeping staff pleasant. Hope these concerns are taken seriously - but I guess will only generate the generic reply I have read on other reviews.
A very clean hotel, very new. The staff was very nice and helpful. Location was very convenient to all the downtown amenities. I have been coming to Temecula for quite awhile and will definitely stay here again.
Parking- Plenty and Safe Entrance- Automatic doors and very clean Front Desk- Very Friendly and helpful Lobby Bathroom- very clean and strong heater very hot Elevator- works good and has plenty of room Hallways- clean with air condition Top floor very quiet as no carpet on floor panels. Room- Very clean only down fall no good view from window and plumbing was not working right with sink and toilet Quiet hotel no noise and stayed 1 Night Staff of hotel very friendly Diamond member would like a goodie bag when checked it but didn't offer it. The next morning I asked if I got points for being a member and I did. The employee gave me extra points for the inconvenience of the plumbing in my room. I was offered the night before to be moved but refused as there were no available rooms on my floor which means I would need to move to second floor. Located right next to Denny's, Gas station and freeway and one exit down from Mall. I have to say the breakfast was amazing eggs, bacon and potatoes. Danish was good and yogurt. Plenty of fresh fruit with out door seating and indoor seating. I would definitely stay again!
Very nice and clean hotel. Rooms are big and nicely laid out. I love the mirror framed in light in the bathroom. Walking shower. Definitely one of the better Best Western hotels. And my new favorite part is that the rooms have no carpet. Big plus for those who are traveling in the electric cars, is an electrical charging station in the hotels parking lot.
We stay at BW frekquently. Sometimes we get hassled about our service animal or using our travel gift cards. This Best Western was hassle free. Very nice and clean property. Very nice and senic area in Temecula wine country. Thank You
The room was for handicapped since my fiancé is in a wheelchair. It was easy to move around in and the shower had a chair and was easy to step into. It had a heated indoor pool and free breakfast that was great. We had a great time at the wineries and all was not far from the hotel.
Old Town Temecula doesn't have many accommodations within walking distance - but this one is just off the main block and was an excellent choice. Clean, neat, wifi, breakfast, free parking - all of it. We stayed on a Friday night and found it to be everything we were looking for. It isn't a high-end establishment but it doesn't charge like that either. The sheets and towels were excellent, the bed was comfortable and the service was helpful. Having stayed at the Rodeway on the other part of Front street (every bad review on Tripadvisor is spot on!) the Best Western was a welcome relief! Definitely will be using this option again and I highly recommend it for basic traveling needs.
The exterior looks plain but the interior is very clean, the continental breakfast smelled good and the room was immaculate and as pictured. There was an issue with the receptionist at check in where she failed to acknowledge me since she was busy arguing with her mother on her cell phone as she starred at me standing at the counter.
If you like a cheap hotel stay here. Walls extremely thin. Heard the man in the next room way too loudly. Was super gross . Heard tons of outside noisy. Also people in hall ways speaking very loudly with vulgar language.
This hotel is walking distance to Old Town Temecula. It is also freeway and winery close! The free breakfast is good. Rooms are spacious and clean and modern. Comfortable beds too! The Saturday morning Farmers Market was great and that is also walking distance from this hotel.
Nice quiet hotel close to the freeway and downtown Temecula. Hotel has easy access to the wine country vineyards. The breakfast was standard, more than continental, with many topping options for the waffles. There is a small indoor pool, but no hot tub.
It was a cousin's 80 birthday and they recommended staying in Temecula and close to old town. We were able to walk to old town, less then quarter of mile, and drove out Rancho California into the wine country, 15 minute drive. Great value for the location and quality of property.
We stayed here for one night on a temecula stop off. Plenty of free parking on arrival and next to shops and a garage. Only 5 minute walk to the start of the old town. Had to wait 5 minutes for check in staff to arrive. We were given room facing car park which was fine as it was very quiet. Room very clean and modern and you can tell its only just brand new. Free breakfast a bonus even though basic. Only thing puzzling me was the sign in the bathroom about not washing towels to save the planet yet at breakfast they use plastic cuterlry and throw away cups and plates. Overall good value for money hotel near old town.
This hotel is clean and modern in decor. The rooms are very small but have all you need except for a make-up mirror (essential). Plenty of hot water for a shower. Walk in shower is a nice change from the tub/shower combo usually seen. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had everything needed.
This Best Western is like the holy grail of motels - it just has got everything right. Location is perfect, minutes away from downtown, shopping and wineries. The motel is fairly new, and the rooms are beautifully furnished with loads of outlets and usb points. Bathroom is gorgeous, with a fab rain shower. The whole place is spotlessly clean, and breakfast is not bad for a free offering. And the best thing about here - the price - it's a bargain, I paid just under €75 for the night. Definitely recommended.
Very well located property, very well priced and very clean with plenty of convenient dining options within easy walking distance. Easy on/off freeway access. I will be staying here on my next trip to San Diego.
Nice rooms, very up to date! Easy check in and check out. Only stayed for one night but if time had allowed I would have stayed for 2. Not too far from Temecula wineries and super close to the downtown area!
Very clean and nice Hotel!!! Great Breakfast!! Nice Staff!! Now my disappointment, I arrived about Midnight on the Friday October 4th after calling about 1/2 hour earlier checking availability and NO ONE answered the Phone or came to the door..Tried for a 1/2 hour calling while standing at the Door knocking..Gave up and went to Hampton down the street where there was a friendly staff open and helpful...
Hotel is within walking distance of old town Temecula. It's only a 15 min drive to the wineries. Hotel room was nice, clean and you get a giant TV. Bed was extremely comfortable and AC/HEAT worked well. Staff was welcoming.
We loved the location...a very short drive to old town shops and restaurants. This BW has every luxury item at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was outstanding...fluffy scrambled eggs, sausage, bisquiks and gravy. Real orange juice!! Waffles too. Very quiet room. A 50 inch tv was quite the plus! Bed linens were exquisite and bed very comfortable. The a/c was nice and quiet. Towels were soft and fluffy. The room had a sofa as well as a bed...very large room.
Great hotel all round. Got here early but no problem. Young check in clerk very plesant. Room was lovely, very modern. Really nice all white bathroom with glassed in rainfall shower and nice white patterned towels. Huge wall hung TV. Bed was comfortable but not the bed box the mattress was in. Very sharp edges and we both knocked our shins on the corners, enough to make my husband's leg bleed. Really needs a buffer of some kind. Had swim in indoor pool which was very pleasant but could smell the chlorine from the pool on my skin for days after as water recirculated. Breakfast ok but butter needed taking better care off as melted then refrozen. Looked awful unwrapped and threw several away. Found Old Town Temecula to be not very big so well within walking distance from hotel. Did not take long to walk both sides but lots of construction going on in the area. Vineyards only minutes away by car as well. Overall a very nice stay in a nice but expensive area.
Very clean, great value and comfy beds. Everyone was very nice, easy check in. We were even early and got our room right away. So close to Old Town you can walk to restaurants and shops. I would stay here again.
Great value for 2 weeknights. Super clean, towels white and not stained unlike a recent hotel stay elsewhere. Convenient location and room spacious. Breakfast staff on top of keeping area clean and food well-stocked. Don't forget to tip, they work hard! First time staying at a BW but won't be our last.
You've got to be a real stick in the mud to leave a bad review about this newly-renovated property. For about $100/night you're a block away from old town Temecula and a 10 minute drive from the wineries. Plus, you've got easy access to the freeway, so if casinos like Pechanga are your thing, it's 15 minutes away but you're paying 1/3 the price for a room. They've got laundry facilities, soda machines for $1, and a great complimentary breakfast which includes eggs, waffles, cereal, muffins, toast, yogurt, fruit, coffee and juice. The pool is small, but clean and refreshing, the gym has what you'd need, and they even have a computer in case you didn't bring your own. WiFi is free and fast. No resort fees. Most importantly, the staff is friendly and responsive. If I could change one thing, it'd be that the bed was a little bit soft for my liking, but that's a personal thing. The bottom line is that this isn't the Ritz, the Four Seasons, the W. or the Andaz, it's a Best Western and you should take it for what it is and not complain because you're getting a great value for the area.
The location is cental to all the amenities that Temecula offers. The staff, clean and reasonably priced rooms were only complemented by a great morning starter beakfast with lots of selections. Whle we have visited Temecula several times in the past, this was a two nite stop looking at property in the area, and was a real plus for comfort. Traffic in the area can be voluminous and frustrating, but very worth the stop.
Basically a new hotel with the potential to offer a reasonable stay but robotic staff and inaccessible management made our stay below par. On entering our room at 5pm on day of arrival we were instantly overpowered with an intense aroma of chlorine. Reported it immediately and were informed that the room had only just been cleaned, told no further room was available and advised to open the window (which incidentally opens into a main road). Management would not be available for comment until next morning. Unable to tolerate the smell we took ourselves off into the town & returned some 6+ hours later - smell still prevalent & undoubtedly a healthy & safety issue - despite open window!). Slept with handkerchief over mouth and nose - smell eventually lessened. All attempts to engage with management were thwarted by unsympathetic robotic staff /gatekeepers. Use of chlorine to clean is not mandatory and in excess is dangerous - it is a toxic chemical and totally ruined our stay in this otherwise new, well located facility. Management should have been available to field comments and ensure that remedial action would be taken. Yuk!
I booked online for a birthday trip with friends through a 3rd party site. When we drove up we were a little hesitant due to some of the businesses around the hotel, but when we checked in and got to our room we were very surprised at how nice and new the hotel is. All 5 of us swear the sheets and bed were the most comfortable we've ever experienced. There was a ton of room for 3 to a room with lots of luggage! The staff was pleasant and they have a great breakfast selection. The hotel was very close to Old Town and everything we did. We enjoyed our stay and since then because of the fabulous experience, I've stayed at 2 different Best Westerns since and have had a great experience at each. I will definitely book with them more in the future.
Almost perfection in every way from price, service to very nice room. Breakfast had a good selection to choose from. Only recommendation: insist that your window facing outside has a full curtain to cover entire window. Otherwise, outside light will come in from the Denny's sign and lamp post
Pros: Brand new. Excellent on and off access to I-15. Full size bathroom and shower with sliding glass doors. Room was large. Breakfast was very good. The air conditioning worked extremely well. I could not find a temperature setting on the small refrigerator, which does not have a freezer compartment, but it kept my insulin cold enough. Cons: Room was not very soundproof. Heard the children in the next room till 2 am in the morning. Heard traffic all night. Heard everything that occurred in the hallway. Found the high a bed couch to be to uncomfortable for me but the desk chair was fine. The room does not have carpeting, which is not a bad thing, but it could have been cleaner. The clock radio had the wrong time setting and we were unable to reset it. Did not care for where the microwave was placed. Recommendations: Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Use the elevator. We use Best Western on all our travels. They all have good and not so good qualities. But We recommend them especially if your stay is just for a few nights.
We were in town for a wedding. Pros: The room was nice - clean and new. Walking distance to Old Town Temecula and Starbucks. We had lunch at the Goat and Vine, also walking distance and very good. Cons: I get that the “free” breakfast thing is not going to be stellar, but c'mon! I'd like to see the hotel management eat that breakfast for five days. Packages of oatmeal, cold eggs - thank God for Raisin Bran! The Fitness Center was very important to us and it appears functional but the temperature in there remained at 78 degrees - I asked three times for someone to look at it. It was never fixed. Towels were nonexistent and wipes for the equipment- ditto. These are management problems. We would not stay there again.
Room was very comfortable, plenty of power for phones and tablets. square Footage was great. love the couch and coffee table in the room was nice for when we had visitors hang out before we went out. Beds very comfortable and the Shower was great. The breakfast was awesome everything you could want or need and the staff was excellent.
Our stay was great, even though it was only one night. Very professional staff, clean lobby and rooms, and easily accessible location for travelers. Very close to the 15 freeway. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who would be traveling to that area.
Great location. Clean and well maintained. On the smallish side. The pool was also very small. Only note I would make: They need to have towels down at the pool. Breakfast was fine. needed more places to sit for a busy Saturday.
The hotel is newer and the decor is nice. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. I suggest parking near the front and using the lobby to enter since that is where the elevator is. While there is an entrance at the back, there is no elevator there. This is a fairly small hotel. We had a few issues that would prevent us from returning. 1.) The sofa bed was dirty with food crumbs and nerf darts folded into it. It had clearly not been cleaned. There was no bedding or pillows for the sofa bed, it was just a mattress with a plastic covering on it. No sheets or pillows in any closets or cupboards in the room. The hotel staff should have known we needed the sofa bed since we listed 2 adults and 4 children as occupants. The other two hotels we stayed at on this trip (one was another Best Western Plus) both had the sofa beds ready with bedding on them. I was told this hotel does not do that by the front desk receptionist. 2.) Our phone in our room did not work so I could not call the front desk. We had a dial tone but it would not connect. The fridge was not turned on. Luckily we knew to pull the fridge out and turn it on ourselves. 3.) When I went to talk with the receptionist about the sofa bed and phone, nobody was at the front desk. It took several minutes for her to return and 2 others were also waiting by that time. We found out she was the only staff member there. When I talked to the receptionist about the issues with the phone and the sofa bed, she seemed a bit annoyed and was not very helpful. I did not receive a new phone and nobody looked at it. She said she was the only staff member in the hotel (at 8:30-9 pm) and she could come up to the room to clean the sofa bed and take care of the issues but then nobody would be at the front desk to help other guests so I told her not to worry about it. She did hand me sheets for the sofa bed and later brought up pillows. 4.) I requested a quiet room upon booking and we were placed in a room right near the elevator. We were unlucky enough to be near a loud group of people seeming to have a party next to us. 5.) There is some sort of emergency system (smoke alarm or something else) in the rooms and there was a flashing light placed right above the head of the bed. My husband said it flashed every 30 seconds and kept him awake for awhile.
This hotel is brand new so it's nice and clean. Didn't experience freeway noise. My one complaint is the bathroom lighting. There is a dim light around the mirror and that's it, making it completely useless. Couldn't even see yourself. I checked with the front desk to make sure all the bulbs were working, and she said yes, it's just very dim the way it's designed.
We had a wonderful experience staying here and highly recommend this facility. It was very clean, the hotel staff was great and the room was very comfortable. The bed was great, we had a great night's sleep. It was also convenient to the wine area easy to do Uber or Lyft to the wineries.
This hotel is very nice. It is new and beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. It is in Old Town which has terrific shops and restaurants all within walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel.
For me to write a negative review, things have to be pretty bad. I arrived at this Best Western at about 12:30pm on 6/17/19 and I was told that my room was not ready, that was fair after all it wasn't 3:00pm yet (normal check in) I was asked to come back in an hour, still fine. I came back in 2 hours at this point it was 2:30pm and the room was still not ready. I parked and waited and checked periodically to see if the room was ready and finally at 3:45 my room was ready... I set in that hotel parking lot for nearly 2 hours watching guests arrive and check in, at least 10 or more but because my room was on the ground floor, it would be the last to be cleaned is ridiculous, this is what I was told by the less than capable/helpful front desk lady.. What she should have done was contact the head housekeeper and requested that a certain room needs to be cleaned sooner rather than later. I won't be staying at this property in the future, if I can help it and there are plenty of other options in this area.
My husband and I Had a great time in Wine Country. If your looking for a relaxed environment this is it. The hotel was clean, modern and retro, and in a good location within walking distance of old town. The pillows and bed were so comfy we didn't want to get out of bed. Definitely will be returning.
Best Western is a very convenient, clean, comfortable hotel with a great HOT breakfast. No out door pool. Right around the corner from Old Town Temecula just a few minutes from the mall or wine country.
Excellent hotel! Classy decor with extremely comfortable beds. Large TV which swivels. To see from or couch. Great walk-in roomy shower. Walking distance to downtown and gas stations just 1/2 block away.
Very nice place and affordable. No carpet In the rooms. Clean. Could hear other guests out in the hallway, but not a disturbance. 3 floors, no outside entrances. Free parking. Microwave was hidden in a cabinet of the dresser. Nice walk in shower. Walking distance to old town. Excellent breakfast included. Indoor pool, no jacuzzi. Pool area smelled of chlorine, & would not want to be exposed to that in enclosed space. Will stay here again! Staying in Temecula is a lot cheaper and less crowded during the week days. Compare the price differences.
Loved our stay at Temecula Best Western Plus. Clean, friendly and convenient. Great with our kids and great central location. We loved how we could get around SoCal from here and how welcoming the staff is. I would definitely go back for a big room, good breakfast, friendly staff and wonderful location.
I really wish I could give this hotel 5 starts but unfortunately I can't. The hotel is brand new, the rooms are immaculate with modern furniture, we were able to check in early, breakfast was good, and all the people who worked at the hotel were polite and pleasant. So why the 3 stars?? I was woken up at 2 am frightened that someone was breaking in to the room. Thankfully no one was, but the walls are PAPER THIN that I could hear every single little noise in the hall and in the rooms on both side of me. There were a group of people at 2 am coming in to their room, trying to get in and having a hard time with their key I presume, then slamming the door where I seriously thought someone was coming into my room. Then I start hearing a baby crying hysterically on one side of me with the father venomously screaming at the child, 2 drunk guys on the other side of me where I could hear every single thing, WORD FOR WORD as if these people were standing two feet in front of me. All of this went on from 2:00-4:00am! I felt as if I was in the twilight zone!! It was as if I was at some seedy motel in the worst part of town! I was woken up again in the morning hearing just regular chatter in the halls. That should not wake someone up! We only stayed one night so we didn't bother to complain to management. If you do decide to stay here make sure you bring ear plugs!
Stay here! Brand new hotel, like that there is no carpet in rooms. Keeps everything clean. Free Breakfast was good. Girls work hard keeping everything replenished. Up keep on tables though is challenging because people can be slobs. Had a great time in wine country and comfy stay here.
We very much enjoyed our quick overnight in this sleek and modern BW. Kudos to smiling Jasmine at the front desk who placed us in the "just right" room. Next morning, Jenn was just as friendly & accommodating. All the things we look for were here, starting with automatic front doors and covered entrance. Fridge/micro, flat screen TV, free wifi with great signal and easily accessible outlets w/USB ports. Spotless bathroom with generous supply of towels. We melted off to sleep on super comfortable with nice linens and four fat, fluffy pillows per bed. Standard continental was well tended, but there's a Denny's across the street for a property sit down breakfast. Limited parking, especially for handicapped, and the sink drained slowly but had the previous guest reported it, no doubt it would have been corrected. Other than that, nothing but praises. Everyone on staff smiling and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a lovely stay - we had landed from the UK the night before and driven over from LAX early in the morning. The beds were so cosy for collapsing in when we had finally arrived! Everything felt really new and clean, and the walk-in shower was huge! Breakfast was actually really varied - the cutlery and plates were disposable but the food was actually quite tasty. It was easy to find something for our toddlers from the selection. It is walking distance to town and the wineries were a short drive away. Our only thought is breakfast could be a bit earlier at the weekend - us jetlagged Brits had been up for hours by 7am! However, the lady at the desk said it was fine to have cereal early which really helped with our ravenous kids.
I book this hotel because of the wonderful reviews-was not disappointed! Right off the highway, great beds and service. Right next to Old Town, to walk around too, very convenient. Excellent hotel in very way!
I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helped me book the room over the phone. The room was very newly decorated--modern and clean with a very comfortable bed and sofa. I missed breakfast, but I think it's standard waffle/yogurt fare, but can't say no to free! They had free parking, free wifi, and a fitness center, too. Would certainly stay here again.
Check in was wonderful. Jennifer was very pleasant to work with and quite helpful. Nice location and close to Old Town and shopping areas. Room was clean and comfortable but a tad narrow between the foot of the beds and the dresser area. I generally am in rooms with a bit more room to go around the end of the bed. A few light bruises from catching the corner of the foot-boards; but sometimes it happens. Will stay here again in the future. They have friendly staff and will assist when notified of any issues.
This is a lovely new Best Western close to Old Town and not far from the wineries. Eveything was nice, neat and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. There is some covered parking. The only drawback was the noise from the floor above us because of the absence of carpeting.
The hotel staff were very nice, and helpful! The room was nicely decorated in a clean, modern style, and the bed was very comfortable. If I had any suggestions, it would be to improve the lighting in the bathroom; it is a little dull. We enjoyed our brief stay, and will definitely return!
Im a frequent Best Western guest. The renovations at this site are superior and the location is convenient to Old Town and easy drive to Wine Country. However, this is the worst breakfast, in all regards, at any Best Western I've stayed, and the soundproofing from the hallway is like paper, very noisy in room at normal traffic and conversation. If a side sleeper, bring your own pillow; theirs are very thin. Temecula room prices are very high.
Stayed at this hotel this weekend for the Temecula Rod Run. We checked in on Friday 03/01 around 4:00pm and the young lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. And the hotel is relatively new (it opened 5 months ago) so everything is nice, new and up to date. This hotel was perfect for our stay because it is right next door to our favorite breakfast spot (Penfold's Cafe) and it is within walking distance to Old Town Temecula which is where the Rod Run is so we will definitely be staying here again.
We stayed here with 8 friends for a wedding at a nearby winery. It is walking distance from Old Town and only about 5 miles from the wineries. This is a NEW hotel, just built in October of 2018. Great hot breakfast and across the street from Denny's. Great staff, clean rooms, comfy beds, and wonderful large walk-in showers!!! Triple A discounts as well!!! Highly recommend!!!!
Great place to stay. Close to Old Town. Grapeline tour does pick up here.breakfast voices very good. If they don't meet a guests expectations there's a Denny in nearby parking lot. Staff all very friendly and helpful. We would return.
New hotel - clean and up-to-date . . . the area directory still not off the press . . .Being from out-of-state, we found the desk staff more than helpful finding us particular restaurants and wineries we wanted to visit. We requested an ADA room and it more than met our requirements. The breakfast was easy access and hot!
For less than $100 for a huge room and an almost brand new hotel isn't a bad deal, especially as it's right on the door step of old town with easy access to wine country and the freeway. Paid way more for far less in some big cities.
A BestWestern plus hotel, offers new comfy beds, decent breakfast, all new & clean. Really good prices too in the heart of Temecula within walking of old town. What is not to like ? Staff was friendly too. Would definitely return!
Stayed here for 5 nights on business. Room was great queen bed overall very clean and spacious with separate bed and lounge area. Bathroom and shower spotlessly clean and shower huge. Although not a restaurant on site there is fridge and microwave in room for heating up the inevitable left over. Plenty of good restaurants in surrounding areas. Free breakfast was included both hot and cold options and staff very warm and friendly. Good parking on site also
Hotel is new and has many modern features. Room was very clean. Lighting over bathroom sink was insufficient in my opinion. Good lighting in spots of room. No carpet which made floor very cold.Bed was comfy. Closet was a stand alone and not tall enough for a full length dress. Breakfast was usual offer. Elevator.
My family stayed in the hotel for one night, very bad experience. The hotel opened in November last year, I expect it is quite new and clean. The room is new and well decorated, but the one we stayed is very dirty. Greasy floor, stains on the floor and the chair, human hair on the toilet. The walls are paper thin, not sound proof AT ALL!! You can clearly hear people walk past your room, hear every word they say just like your door is wide open. That is how loud it can be. People party hard in the hotel. It was very noisy even at 1am on the night we stayed. The hardwood floor won't absorb any sound which makes the case even worse. In addition, do not stay in the room next to the elevator. Noisy is one thing, you can feel the wall vibrates. Ask for another room! All in all, very disappointed. The location might be the only pro as it is very close to old town Temecula. The television might be the other pro, but it is way too big for a small room. Another tip, if you don't see the microwave at first, please check on the drawers of the TV cabinet. They hide the microwave in it.
A new BW+ hotel. Rooms smaller than we normally experience in BW-hotels/motels. Modern amenities, good fridge, nice with a safe, bathroom good as well. The safe and the microwave are placed unconveniently in the room. Bed was great. Big flatscreen TV, really big. The indoor pool is not so charming, too small and the water also too varm. Fitnessroom fine, but I missed drinkingwater. Breakfast was adequate, but could be better, and the buffet was terribly designed/arranged. And why only a few tables, there are room enough for more. And I like coffee, and for me Nescafe is not real coffee. Staff was generally great, but housekeeping forgot to restock amenities. The hotel is perfectly situated just outside old Temecula. I would stay here again and the price for a room is in the lower end, considering what you get.
We live in the area and needed a place to stay while we were having work done on our house and this hotel was perfect. The staff was very accommodating with all of our requests. It's a beautiful, clean hotel in an excellent location. Walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops in Old Town Temecula and the room rates are extremely low considering the location. Definitely an excellent value!
Traveled to Temecula for a family function and was thrilled with the accomodations! Beautiful, clean rooms with really comfortable mattressess and plenty of space for our family of four. Slept great every night! Maria at the front desk was especially helpful and really went the extra mile to make sure everything worked out great for us! Will definitely stay here again!
this is a beautiful hotel! It is close to Old Town Temecula. We were able to Uber to The Vineyards. Wonderful staff. They very helpful and friendly. I love the rooms! The price was good value. I highly recommend this hotel.
New hotel, centrally located. Well maintained with friendly staff! Was in the area to attend a retirement party, greeted at the front desk by a professional employee. Room was nicely furnished and very clean.
This is a new Best Western in Temecula. It is wonderful and the rooms are very modern and updated. Great place to stay and wonderful (Free) breakfast in the mornings. It is very close to Old Town Temecula (Walking distance) and accessible to all the local casinos, such as Pechanga, Pala and Pauna great to have fun and entertainment and the ride home is not too long after a night at the casinos. They even have laundry service and the exercise room and the pool are indoor and very good for that early morning run or swim.
I'm so glad I chose to stay here. Clean, new and comfortable! Oh and cheap for how nice it is. I was hesitant but went for it. Happy Happy happy. Usually a place like this cost $140+ and I paid in the $80's with discount of 5 nights !
This hotel is brand new, so we expected it to be nice. I reserved well in advance and received excellent rates! Thanks for the military discount. It was beyond our expectation! Staff was amazing, room was amazing, breakfast was amazing!!! We will be back!!!
Beautiful hotel, rooms, grounds and public areas are extremely clean and nice, parking is well light and feels very safe - breakfast was good and the staff very nice and welcoming. We will definately be back as we make at least 6 trips a year for our wine club events.
Beautiful hotel, clean, friendly, professional. Had one simple issue with the tv remote butbtgey had me a new one in a minute. I slept so good. The bed was comfortable. Lots of draws and space for clothes.
This is a new hotel - it is modern in style and accommodations. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Lots of parking. I would recommend this hotel for adult couples.Easy on off hwy access
This hotel is only a few weeks old. The room was very spacious. Great location right near the freeway. They advertised a free breakfast, and it did not disappoint. Eggs, bacon, make your own waffles are just a few of the items offered.
Brand new hotel in Temecula right near the freeway which opened in October 2018 with easy access to the local wine country! Check-in was easy and made very pleasant by Alyssa, who was very friendly and helpful. Because my 90 year old mom has some difficulty walking Alyssa let us look at a regular room to see if it would work for my mom, but we went ahead with the accessible room. The room was large and well appointed with two very comfy queen beds and lots of pillows!! The bathroom was large with an roll-in shower and lots of fluffy towels. This brings up one of two complaints - not every disabled person needs a roll-in shower; sometimes they just need a small shower chair/stool in a regular shower and not a fixed bench in the stall. The roll-in shower had a hand held attachment shower head, but it was mounted in the middle of the shower stall and not the end; which I'm sure works really well for someone in a wheel chair but tor a care giver (me) it would spray the curtain and a good part of the bathroom if you turned it to spray forward since there was no fixed shower head. Other than this the room was great, but would have been happier with a regular room with a removable shower chair/bench. Our second complain was that even though the room had black out curtains, they didn't close so we had the lights from the gas station next door shining in on us all night, not to mention the early morning light. Last minor complaint, the wi-fi was sketchy at best. Breakfast was good and plentiful with scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal, waffles, yogurts, fruits and breads! Very tasty!! All the staff - front desk and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful!! Highly recommend and will definitely return!!
My husband and I just returned from a mini weekend getaway in Temecula. This Best Western Plus is only a few short walk away from the old town and 10-20 min drive to all the wonderful wineries. The hotel is only one month old... we enjoyed the super clean, very well designed modern room with a separate seating area. Bed was extremely comfortable, and bathroom is nice sized and well designed. Complimentary breakfast was great, too. Overall, we're very satisfied with our stay and will most likely book this hotel on our next visit as well. Highly recommended if you are more into modern hotel rather than "old charm" type that seems to be more common in the area.
This Best Western Plus is beautiful with a friendly staff. The beds are very good and the rooms are nice sized. The only disappointment is the breakfast. Could have available a larger selection and better nutritional items. This hotel is right around the corner from Rancho California Rd. which leads you right to the Temecula wine country.
Needed a romantic getaway that would be close to Temecula Wine Country and left us with enough money to actually enjoy the wineries! Best Western Plus is only 2 weeks old at the time of this review. Conveniently located just off the 15 Freeway at Rancho California, this beauty is in close proximity to everything Temecula has to offer. From wineries, historical sites, museums and local entertainment venues, this location is the way to go. While the hotel offers a nice complimentary breakfast option in the lobby daily, it sits just a few steps from Penfold's Bakery and Cafe, a favorite spot of locals. Suites are spacious, stylish, with clean lines and a more modern look than other older hotels in the area. One site parking is safe and monitored by numerous security cameras and a posted guard. Look no further and book early for the best rates. Enjoy!
