Staff is great. Hotel not so much. Ants were in our room--luckily just a few but we have friends that had many. Toilet seat was very loose (housekeeping should have caught it when they cleaned). Internet was lousy--never could get it to connect well. Terrible odor in the room-probably was meant to be a cinnamon air freshener but it was terrible. I was so glad I brought a portable air purifier. Won't be staying here again.
Do NOT stay here. Hotel is complete filth and run down!! Run quick from here regardless of price! Rating should be NO Stars if given the option.
Front desk ladies were amazing! So was breakfast lady. Minor issues with plugs in room but overall a good experience. Beds were high but comfortable. Short girl issues. Would totally stay again. Great customer service
The Best Western Plus, Diamond Valley Inn: By far the worst customer service I have experienced at a Best Western Plus. If you simply ask for a cup of coffee at this establishment after breakfast hours, the cleaning lady on duty, Juliet, will certainly make you feel terrible for asking. After my wife asked Juliet if coffee was available, she looked at my wife incredulously, as if we were asking for something very outlandish. Juliet, after recovering from my wife's coffee availability question, then gathered herself and told my wife that ONLY coffee was available. My wife then asked me why this person had such an attitude with her. Juliet made it a point to walk up to my wife and to ask her what did she say, and rather than exercise customer service, she made it a point to make her personal points to my wife that she felt that she hadn't been rude. My wife told her she didn't want to speak to her and so the cleaning lady left to then bring back her cleaning lady friends so they could gossip in the corner about my wife in Spanish. The manager Vicki Heavin was of no customer assistance, simply saying that she could not picture Juliet or the other cleaning ladies acting in this manner. Vicky Heavin in all her back woods glory of illustrating incompetence at its finest, claims she CAN see my wife on the motels camera footage, but she CANNOT see her own employees in this same camera footage approaching my wife, and standing right next to her, to make personal comments, having absolutely nothing to do with customer courtesy and professionalism, or being gathered together by Juliet, to come and see my wife and gossip in Spanish about her. Apparently, Juliet in all of her old aged wisdom and maturity, still needs comfort and support to deal with her own emotional and personal discomfort via her fellow employees Laura and Maria who were summoned by Juliet, to leer at my wife and make personal comments, which were all condoned by Vicky-the friend ; I mean the "manager" of Juliet. So good to see nepotism/ unprofessionalism/ lack of accountability alive and well at The Best Western Plus, Diamond Valley Inn. Please someone at this organization have Vicky Heavin add optometry to her insurance plan as well as ethics training, she needs it.
My first impression as I walked up was apprehensive. But, the moment I entered the building that changed. Friendly, attentive and respectful from each and every staff member. The rooms were nice and comfortable. I will be back on my next visit.
Staying with Best Western is always a Crap-shoot. You never know what you'll get. The place may be a great experience or a threat to your health. This place is very average. The desk clerk was board and didn't acknowledge my Diamond level membership. The breakfast was very under par, dry cubed ham, overcooked eggs, watery orange juice and old bread. However the place was a palace compared to the Best Westerners in South Little Rock and Monte Vista Co.
We had to stay at a hotel because originally we're from LA and didn't want to travel back after a night of parting from our family's event. So we decided to stay at a hotel and we chose Best Western. We usually are out in these areas due to my partner's family being from Moreno Valley/Hemet. This was the first time we stood at best western and it was worth it. Overall satisfaction!
The accommodations featured pleasingly appointed rooms that added a touch of delight to the overall stay. The staff, characterized by their promptness and friendliness, contributed significantly to the positive experience, ensuring guests felt warmly attended to throughout their visit. Moreover, the breakfast provided surpassed expectations, offering a truly delightful start to each day with its outstanding quality and variety.
Re: Room 127: We realize that this is a "budget" hotel -- still there is no excuse for the lack of maintenance and the apparent lack of oversight. There was no wifi: It was down! The jacuzzi jets were also""down." "So sorry for the inconvenience" ! Our room... The beds were comfortable and the space had been cleaned. Looking around, we discovered that the freestanding lamps were inoperable because there are no outlets anywhere nearby. Stains on chairs. Horrible Pine Sol odor in the room and the hallway. We opened our windows. The bathroom: Yikes!!! The diverter in the tub (noted rust stains) is semi-frozen. The drain is slow --as in the water being ankle deep during a shower. And no shower curtain, which I didn't notice until I stepped into the tub shortly before check-out. Worse, there is a damaged section of wall between the toilet and tub: Dry rot or black mold ahead? We reported this to the front desk. Do not recommend!
well 1st check-in was good 1st night was good the next day we had to be moved to another room due to the fire alarm leaking water, this was done by your great lady staff that made it priority and made things happen immediately, they are great, NOW the rest of ur staff. the night the power went out ABSOLUTELY UNEXCEPTABLE!!!! 11pm when power goes out the entire hotel is dark NO LIGHTS ANYWHERE NO EMERGENCY LIGHTING BUT YET THEY HANG ON THE WALLS. this is dangerous and illegal. i have worked in hotel business for 25 years and have never experienced such unprofessional service in my life. the graveyard guy didnt even care to address the issue with anyone just says oh it was an accident somewhere, that was a lie because no emergency vehicles were heard ever. on top of that NO LIGHTS ANYWHERE NUT OH YES THE FRONT DESK HAS 2 ON. Then next morning i address the issue and his attitude was rude didnt want to hear anything hands me a paper to right down info and says mgmt will be in touch, well im sorry that you are in charge of what is happening and cant handle it find a new job because hospitality isnt for you at all. I am just mind blown by how all tghis happened and took place, no protocols at all for the situation. how do you not have a backup plan or system in place. what about handicap individuals maybe wheelchair bound what about guest with health issues, you are lucky that the weather was okay for my mom who has heart issues that we were able to get air into a point for a very uncomfortable night. Not to mention we were there for the CALFIRE funeral service in Ontario that day. Never again will i stay here and im from Hemet born and raised so i geuss i really shouldnt expect much coming from this place but come on. absolutely worse experience I have ever had from any hotel. but your ladies were absolutely the best. the only reason im rating how i am for the rest of this is because the ladies took care of business so well they were amazing the other front staff there are no words to even explain that they should not be in hospitality.
Smoke detector making noise. Low water pressure and cold showers, and that's after a room change.Ice machine broken (only have 1) elevator inop. Manager didn't believe me when I spoke to her about it.
This hotel exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was hot and ready to be served. The room was comfortable and the cooler/heater kept our room at a perfect temp. Even though I am not a fan of Direct T.V I was able to keep up with the sports I follow.
Judged a Dog Show and stayed at BW during that trip. Excellent, very helpful staff! Very good location and ammenities near by. Extremely neat, clean accomodatons. Will plan on staying at this location again.
Loved the stay the employees are friendly and very attentive to guest!!! The breakfast was amazing, a good variety of food choices s well as drinks! Me and my girlfriend live staying here whenever we need to get away from the occasional hectic life style we live!
My husband and I came to Hemet to see the wildflowers at Diamond Valley Lake. The hotel was a short drive to the lake. The facility was extremely clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast seemed ample, though I had only coffee (because I don't eat breakfast). The wifi signal was weak and not usable, but this wasn't a problem for me. The curtains don't shut completely so if you like to sleep in a dark room, bring a couple of clothespins to keep them closed. The bed was firm and extremely comfortable. We had a really excellent and surprisingly affordable dinner at Osaka House Ramen and Sushi, which is just a couple of minutes away. It was a great stay and I'd stay there again.
I'm not sure if they were going through a renovation but half of the "amenities" were not working and staff is no help for the rates they charge you can get two nights and treated way better with thing that actually work for one stay here at this supposed 3/4 star hotel, sheets were filthy, Ice machine never worked and neither did the two exit doors, it truly was a horrific stay
The Best Western Plus diamond valley Inn is the best place where you can stay in a clean environment where the food is good and the staff is very professional. The environment is very nice and the staff is very professional.
1st stay was told after arriving that the room I reserved for pets, wasn't available. 2nd and last stay, room 302 had bugs under the blankets. Was moved to 325 where it looked as if someone just left.
This property has a lot of issues. the rooms are not clean, the internet does not work, the electrical/device charging connections do not work. I will never stay here again and would warn anyone from booking into this property
The staff at this hotel is excellent! They are all smiles and great service. Awesome breakfast bar, and a well run operation. The property is well maintained and very clean, even though the area outside the property is not so wonderful.
Everything was good and great service. They make you feel welcomed and help with your reservation. Marcus is great overnight manager. Though I don't know all of them by name but by seeing them. Their team works together.
I left my wallet at the front desk during check in on 10/15/22 without knowing. I was in hurry because I was running late for a birthday party. When I arrived and realized I didn't have my wallet on me. I quickly began to back track on where I could have misplaced it one being the hotel . As I arrived Daisy and Brenda had helped me at the front desk they had kept my wallet safe and returned it with everything in it . I was so stressed about potentially losing my wallet with my driver license, cash and credit card while being out of town but those two saved my weekend. Thank you ladies the world needs more workers like the both of you . Huge Thank you to best western staff.
We stayed at Hemet while attending Coachella. The hotel is an hour drive from Coachella. We failed to book on time and all Coachella hotels were sold out by the time we got the show tickets. The hotel has old amenities but the staff was extremely friendly and engaging. Breakfast is served in morning though its pretty limited. I wouldn't advise anyone travelling from Coachella to stay here and commute because you may get tired after the show and driving late may be gruesome. But if you driving through Hemet a good place to sleep over.
Family court hearing and mini vacation reunionifacation very nice room for hemet California great breakfast all you cN eat waffles toast cereal juic÷ vegan options clean pool frie dly staff for the most part
We recently stay at this hotel and really like the friendly and kindness of the staff. Rooms where a little small but nice and clean. Overall me and my family would stay there again . Great service, good price for our whole family.
The place smells like marijuana and cigarettes. Sketchy people in the parking lot and in the hall way. The pool was filthy. It's almost as if this place used to be a dirty hotel before, but just got a slight make over and new name. Defined not worth the what they charge per night. Definitely better than most of the other hotels in Hemet. But if you can afford to stay at the Hampton, it's definitely a better option.
Came on business trip and experienced a pleasant and friendly staff, in particuler Marcus Singleton. Room is clean and comfortable. centrally located for my business. Good room for good price. I will come back.
I was nice and quite- Great breakfast- Stayed here for our annual senior softball tournament in Hemet as well as Perris- Will be coming back on June 24 & 25 for another softball tournament but this one is in Hemet
The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. I appreciated how clean and cared for my room was, even if it is a bit dated. The hotel was pretty quiet and I slept great. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was pretty good. I appreciated the hot breakfast in the morning! Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, and a selection of cereals and bread/bagels.
Don't recommend. There are Cockroaches, and staff did nothing to try to accommodate. I arrived at 11pm, and I got into the room and opened the door and there were cockroaches crawling on the floor. Yes they were alive. When I turned on the restroom light there was one on the toilet seat. HORIBBLE!!!
The pictures you see online are not exactly what the rooms look like if you take closer look at the bedrooms they're very outdated closets very outdated hair dryers and they can use a lot more cleaning and depth they could also use a better cook
Great customer service very clean and quiet didn't have to worry about my stuff or car being broken into. The food and service was great.there 24 hour gym was great.and the service was great very nice
Had a great time staying here at this property. Housekeeping staff was very nice. Marcus at the front desk was very professional and helpful. He really made us feel welcomed. We will definitely choose this place again. Thank you!
I'd like to hear the best Westerner that seems to be put at work here are like one big happy family which is cool I feel safe you're compared to Motel 6 or Travelodge those places are a you are a dump
My family and I were looking at a pet friendly hotel the selection wasn't great. So we went into this best western with ok explanations nothing great.Right from the beginning that view changed we were treated with such care. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful.
Ive stayed at a few hotels on this cross country trip. This hotel has been the Best ! From the minute we walked in, we were excited. The front desk agent, Marcus Singleton, greeted us with a smile and we were excited to see and pet his beautiful son, Scooby. Just talking to Marcus and being able to pet his big beautiful baby was definitely the best thing we've encountered since coming to California. We had the best night's sleep and were very happy to say Good morning to Marcus and Scooby. Great place! Nice, clean and friendly! Definitely worth the price!
This best western is legit, given that it's located in hemet!! I enjoy my stays here because of the great office staff and housekeeping. All of them are amazing! The manager Vicki is the best, she is always on top of things and never fails to meet my needs, a good manager makes a great team! The rooms are always clean, housekeeping is always available when needed. I would highly recommend this hotel, this will be my home hotel from now on, every time I come to this city! Thank you.
We had the worst experience but had no choice but to stay at this horrible hotel/motel. We were there for a memorial service and had booked two suites with one suite that would allow a pet, we called a couple of weeks in advance to make sure we would get at least one suite that allowed pets. When we get there the woman at the front desk tells us that we didn't book it right and the person that confirmed did not do their job correctly and we were out of luck they could only give us a very small room with two queen beds. ok fine. Then we take a look at the other "suite" and they were old, smelly and had broken appliances in them. We cancelled this suite and got another room at Hampton In down the street for the other guests. We unfortunately were stuck at this place because of our dog. I will never stay here again but there are plenty of homeless people that stay here and hang around outside. There was even a dumpster fire while we were there, ugh. Please be careful if you stay here, be aware of your surrondings.
I am a contractor. I have stayed at this hotel over 9 times. This month. When I walk in. Marcus greets me with a smile. Marcus is the man. makes me feel like I'm at home. goes above and beyond Thanks Marcus
Best place to stay in Hemet, it is new, clean and safe. Book early, we were forced to stay in some seedy places because this place sells out quickly. Beds are comfy, check out is at 11, but they have always given us a late check out when we wanted.
Highly recommend this hotel for anyone close to other places to visit. Stores are abundant ro I ms are clean and Marcus is the greatest at the desk. Warm driendlt smile and very helpful remembered me by name. Thats amazing
I love this hotel al the co workers are cool and respectful the maids are loveable I wouldn't never have nothing bad to say about this hotel the Manger she my girl she work hard everyday there and she love her coworkers it's like a big happy family and that's best hotel to stay at!!!!!
Recently made two trips to the Hemet area and stayed at this hotel 5 nights on my first trip in August and 7 nights on my second trip in October. The rooms are clean and comfortable. the hot breakfasts were good and got me going for the day, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming, There are three front desk folks I'd like to recognize: Vicki was very helpful during my first visit with getting my rewards points straightened out and if I needed any other assistance; Belinda was always friendly and smiling, checking if there was anything I needed during my trips in and out during the day; and Marcus in the evenings was awesome in the evenings when I'd head outside for a quick break (non-smoking hotel) and we had several good conversations with him. If I'm back in the area again, I'd definitely choose to stay at this hotel.
Everyone so helpful in my time of need. Awesome food, friendly people, clean room and I'm definitely coming back for sure! Would recommend to all my friends and neighbors to come here during vacation or whatever. Thank you so much!
Marcus Singleton did an amazing job! Really made me feel like family. Took care of me and always asked if everything was perfect! Overall great customer service. My room was very clean and taken care of.
My stay at the Best Western Plus was great. I was immediately welcomed by the front staff at the front desk and accommodated accordingly for all my needs. Marcus specifically was incredibly helpful and even went out of his way to personally print some documents I needed for work the following day. I highly recommend this spot.
Markus at the front desk is a true blessing!! We cant thank him enough for his help in getting my husband a room and personally assisting him during his stay! Husband booked elsewhere and found the place to be a disaster. Markus quickly agreed to help and find him something at this property that was beautiful and comfortable. My husband also said there was a great employee doing the breakfast named Arturo that was kind and helpful and a really outstanding employee. Thank you both so much for helping to make my husbands stay a great one. We will use you again in the future. Note: rooms are very clean and comfortable.
Great people, Awesome hospitality and delicious break feast really recommend it. 10/10 ! My stay hear has been great, and would come back any time, and the Waffles uff can't beat them!! Really comfortable beds as well, Thanks to everyone there !
Upon checking in, we were greeted by Marcus, an outgoing and outstanding representative of Best Western. We felt comfortable telling him we just moved out of our house, needed a relaxing night and looking forward to a whirlpool tub. If you have Marcus type of employees, we will definitely increase our visits to Best Western!
The room was clean. The elevator was down but they were accommodating. Marcus at the front desk was beyond helpful and accommodating to my family. He made the stay comfortable and was very helpful. Thanks Marcus!
We loved Marcus and how helpful he was to us. He explained exactly how everything about charged and didn't skip any questions. He was very kind and friendly and was on point with service! Didn't matter how many times I asked for ice or came up for snacks.
My family and I have been staying here almost 2 weeks the staff is very professional and organized. The facility is very clean and welcoming. This location is equipped with masks and other supplies for our use for covid prevention. We are having a pleasant stay so far. My kids and I are really enjoying the stay especially now that we no longer have paper bag breakfast the hotel has now gone above and beyond too please their clients breakfast was AMAZING their staff worked so hard to have everything we'll set up the night before. I watched as their staff was cleaning and organizing their eating area it is well sanitized that's a definite plus. During Our morning breakfast their was a variety of items to choose from coffee for early risers a warm to go carry out box which included two scrambled eggs 2 sausage patties sum tater tots and a warm biscuit u also had your choice of having extra items like fresh fruit , yogurt to take along with you so that was Great... Their was many people who came down for breakfast the wait time was minimal and non caotic. I had a warm enjoyable breakfast this morning and can't wait for day 2 . I recommend this Best Western plus location to anyone who is planning their next trip in the area. Thank you too ALL staff members that have made our stay here feel a lot like home. Thank you.... Maria and family
Nice day wasn't very good this last time well, when I booked my room I thought I had a certain room and I ended up booking the wrong room! Ship shoes how do you descriptive! The pool looks like it has not been cleaned or any chemical added. A little hot tub was totally green!
We spent one night here on July 31 to attend a friend's birthday party. It's well-located and the room was clean, beds freshly made and comfortable. The surrounding area seemed safe. check-in was pleasant. Wendys' is right in front. The pool and spa were closed due to covid. The breakfast was disppointing, just a bag with apple juice, a muffin, a small apple and an energy bar;. We went a few blocks down on Florida Ave for a real breakfast at Denny's. We were also charged more than we were quoted, and they added a $10.00 Facility fee. The room (122) was clean
California law says, NON-SMOKING , enforce it or clean it up. Check room for trash , inappropriate items, clean the room, just not throw out the trash cans. Front staff, Angle (girl with black and blonde hair) was at a loss on how to get the room recleaned. She claims they charge a $250 damage on smoking room, then I say, use it to clean a room, scrub the halls enforce non-smoking, , lower the noise at 1 AM. I have used this hotel before, but the quality , security, cleanliness has not been maintained.
The doors to the rooms (2) didn't work properly. The room had a urine odor by the door. The tile was sticky like it was mopped with a dirty mop. The staff said the carpet had maybe just been cleaned but it was also sticky next to the coffee pot and refrigerator. I didn't want to walk barefoot in the room. The entire town is dirty and every sidewalk looks like it's never been cleaned. For a longer stay I would have rather spent more money for something nicer. The service was very friendly and she was accommodating by changing my room, when the door to the room wouldn't close. Unfortunately the second room had door issues too. She was nice and offered airfreshner for the smell. At least when all is wrong it helps to have a friendly person at the desk.
Booked this BW for a weekend stay for my granddaughter's soccer tournament in Temecula. I hadn't read any reviews in advance since I have always found BW hotels to be great places to stay. The day before traveling my daughter texts me to suggest that I look at some of the recent posted reviews. Oh my. Perhaps it was because once I read some of the other reviews the bar was now set so low that anything short of purgatory would have been acceptable. Or, maybe we were just lucky. In all fairness, this hotel has some shortcomings, most of which are probably related to Covid. Yes, the pool was closed. Yes, breakfast was a grab and go. (It wasn't bad, mind you. Fresh apple, pre-wrapped muffin, granola bar, and a juice box.) And yes, check-in, although efficient, was not the "welcome home experience" that I am accustomed to when staying at a BW. Our rooms were clean, décor was fine, everything worked except a couple of outlets (other reviews also noted this), and sleep quality was good. Unlike others who said the place smelled of urine or tobacco or that they didn't feel safe, I experienced none of this. Even when after dark we walked over to the Wendy's across the lot for a Frosty. For the price paid and the value received, next year should we go to the Albion tournament again, I'm likely to stay here. I just hope that between now and then staff gets some training on guest service.
Do not stay here. The room smell of tobacco and it needs an upgrade, bathroom smell of urine, the bed sheets had hairs (not clean) the pool was dirty the hot tub had green mold and it was filthy. I was charged a hidden fee. This place is worse than a motel 6.
Walked in to the BW about 2pm and was immediately told by the manager (Savannah) that there will be no early check ins. And it was said in a tone that was rude and ended with a kind of FU smile. I brushed it off and then politely asked, could I check in when my room is ready? She repeated with an even loader and more disrespectful tone, THERE WILL BE NO EARLY CHECK-INS. I stepped back and thought, that was rude. So I left. Manager Savannah may be having a bad day and is in over her head. But don't be rude to guest. I'm only staying at this BW because I travel a lot for work and I am a loyalty member so I get points. The next closest BW is about 20 miles away. I'm in the city for work and commuting would be too inconvenient. The last 2 times I've stayed here the rooms were extremely dirty and there was actual FESES on one of the chairs. I called the front desk and they couldn't fix the issue until the next morning. So disgusting. The hotel was said to be sold out so I stayed in the room against my better judgment. All BW are independently owned. So I asked manager Savannah, if I could get a phone number or address to the owner. (Due to manager Savannah is obviously incompetent at her job) and she refused. Saying that no one speaks to the owner but her. She's obviously trying to save her job. I'll do the research and contact the owner. If you come to this city, I recommend staying clear of the BW.
Dirty and lighting and AC not working. Didn't even bother to take a shower for my 1 night stay. A few years ago I stayed there and the experience was great I don't know what happened. I shouldn't be a Plus hotel
It was a terrible stay, from check in to check out, not very friendly staff, everything promised never complied no hot breakfast on Sunday or Monday left just before 6 am Monday, because no hot breakfast back door exit only due to riff raft in area! running up and down stairs most of the night had to call front desk twice don't let staff give you room 128! NEVER STAY THERE ANYTIME, MOTEL 6 IS BETTER AND THAT'S A SHAME TO SAY BUT ITS THE TRUTH!
Very clean. Helpful staff. Super comfortale. Rms kind of pricey but so worth it. Will recommend and refer my friends and family to this location if ever in Hemet. Any time I'm am here me and my family will stay here. Hopefully not booked. They sell quickly.
A trip out of town to spend time with my babies.I love that we were centrally located around shopping centers and any kind of food you could possibly want. once we were done shopping we were able to hang out in our room and watch Disney plus it was a great bonding experience and we had a great time
Staff was kind but not very attentive. Only one outlet in our room worked and they never came to fix it. Floor was sticky. Asked for towels and had to go back later in the evening to get them as they were never delivered. Looks like people work on their cars in the parking lot. We will not go back to this location.
Best Westerns are nice, but this one was not very good. Tub was clogged. Floors were sticky. Reservation got messed up. Staff not very friendly. Breakfast was brown bagged with nothing but sugar and carbs.
I felt invisible 'twice' at the front desk. Two ladies talking to each other of a personal nature while I just stood there, and stood there, and stood there. They were quite unhappy that I had a question. I also do not like hotels that take a $100 deposit then days to deposit it back into your account. It says Diamond Valley but it's still Hemet which is why they take a deposit. Will not be back.
The front desk staff is courteous an professional. The lobby is always clean. The housekeeping staff is on top of it. Of course covid regulations apply. It is animal friendly which helps many people. I love it here. I just wish we weren't in the middle of a pandemic during our stay. So many more services during regular visits in the past.
This is our go to hotel when visiting family in Hemet. It is clean and inexpensive. There is usually vacancies and they accept our pets which we never travel without. Will definitely use again. The only con is that they dont have family suites.
We've stayed here before and it was always a pleasant stay. This time, it seemed that people (not staying at the hotel) were wandering the halls and hanging out in the stairwells. People from the street seemed to be finding refuge in this hotel. It didn't feel very safe. Hopefully, they step up security and turn this place around.
I stayed at this Hotel,Feb 2021 on the 20th to 21nd Saturday, Sunday Night.I am from Hemet Ca,I know this Area well and understand that this area is saturated WITH Drugs and Over ran with low life's and Homeless people.I come to Visit My Daughter,I found this hotel at a very reasonable price, and reviewed the safety of the hotel, and found it to be the best on the reviews. So as I am grateful to add to the review,That I had very positive visit, and found the reviews That I read to be helpful of the facts to be true.I did witness a drunk yelling in the parking lot and the hotel lady came out wright away and handled in very well.KUDOS to her was handled in a very professional, and I live in Las Vegas NV know and this is something that just happens anywhere,But OVER ALL WAS VERY QUIET!!!!!due to the Pandemic NO FULL BREAKFAST,ONLY A MUFFIN BRAKE BAR AND JUICE IN A BAG,THEY APOLOGIZED FOR THAT,BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS!!!!! BUT GREAT PLACE TO STAY.
Hands down the best place it felt comfortable and amazing overall! I love that it was extremely peaceful and felt safe the staff was amazing the room was amazing everything was amazing and I definitely can't wait to come back !
I work for a BW Hotel and I have stayed in quite a few BW Hotels in other states, but this one was by far the worst. I can't believe they ever passed inspection from Corporate. They gave me a suite and the couch in that room looked nasty, the front desk carpet nasty. The girl at the Front Desk was unfriendly, not helpful at all. She saw I had a service dog and trying to push a cart outside to get my bags; she didn't so much as open the door for me. The place that is designated for pet's waste to go I had to take my service dog to the bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned up, filthy with dog dodo and cigarette butts. To be considered a Best Western Hotel there is supposed to be a certain level of professionalism to the place and people that work there, this one failed miserably. The lady at the FD that checked me out was nice though, and friendly.
I want to preface my review by saying I rarely take the time to review hotels (aside from resorts or popular destinations) because of the standard, predictable accommodations I've come to to expect (and take for granted) . And I'm pretty sure I haven't written a negative review before. However, I am taking time to submit a review of Best Western Hemet to warn travelers to not make my mistake. Do not stay at this hotel. In summary, it is dirty, noisy, and smelly. For more details read on. We booked the Worst Western (a name we heard another family refer to it as, and we concur) for a weekend baseball tournament in town. We arrived and the first thing we noticed about the small lobby was that it smelled of cigarette smoke. I will say that the lady at the front desk was kind, and friendly, but clearly stressed. The hotel was booked to full occupancy with many other baseball families, and management needs to consider having more employees on hand so this poor lady will not have to run around like a chicken with its head cut off. We were given our room keys and told that our room had a faulty door lock, but told how to operate it. Stepping off the elevator we smelled a strong marijuana odor (which got worse throughout the night. So much for a nonsmoking hotel). The hall carpets needed vacuuming, and we noticed many of the doors were scratched and dented. Opening our room, the first thing we noticed was a clump of dark hair on the tile. When we closed the door there was a pile of gunk, dust, and hair in the corner behind the door. The walls were dirty, and the baseboards thick with grime. The furniture all nicked, missing lampshade, and there was scotch tape stuck on the walls in several areas. The room was in desperate need of a good cleaning, and felt dingy and gross. We asked to switch rooms, and the lady at the front desk was happy to help. However the next room was even worse. We took one look from the doorway and said no way (strong marijuana odor, broken light switch, sticky black on the floor, and the carpet was filthy. See pictures). The lady at the front apologized and said she was calling for backup to get our room re-cleaned while we left for dinner. She needed up needing to clean it herself, but we saw no difference when we returned and the corner gunk remained. At this point we started to look for other accommodations. However, everything in the area was sold out. We even went to the Hampton Inn to try to get a room, and looked for a VRBO rental. We were out of luck. Thankfully the sheets and mattresses were clean (believe me, I checked). The recent reviews are true. The parking lot was noisy. Our air conditioner was noisy. And the people above us were noisy (old hotel- you can hear every movement). The next day, there was an alarm going off throughout the afternoon. We were told it was a carbon monoxide detector, and it was a problem with the batteries. This is all my first hand experience, but we heard from several other families with similar complaints. One family had to get new keys 3 times. Another found their room smelling strongly of smoke, and their smoke detector covered up with a plastic bag. Do yourself a favor, pay a bit more to stay at the MUCH nicer Hampton Inn.
All I have to say is this hotel is a health hazard. People living and selling drugs in the parking lot. Bed bugs. Homeless people using the lobby and coffee/juice machines. Hotel stinks and is filthy dirty. We will never stay in a Best Western again.
Loud noisy people all over Hotel. Not a friendly-looking place at night. I'm a diamond Rewards member i stay at over a 100 nights a year with Best Western. I have never walked out of a hotel before and gone to the one next store. I called at approximately 10 a.m. to give my rewards number make a room reservation and told them I would be there after 6 pm. They did not want my credit card and would not take it said I didn't need it I'm a Rewards member I'm good. After dealing with traffic coming from LA getting something to eat in this town I arrived at about 8:30 p.m. . They had given my room away lied and said they had called me which I run my business from my telephone I do not miss calls. She called someone else and they said well we tried to charge his credit card but it was declined. They never took my credit card number again they lied. Then they wanted to charge me for a different room because they seemed to think it was my fault. I would just like to remind this hotel owner people like me that work for a living stay in hotels during the week come in at night sleep and go to work before breakfast and don't damage your hotels can stay anywhere we want. So for this trip I paid more money and stayed next door at the Hilton. Get a grip on your staff they're going pretty heavy on cash stays, if you know what I mean. Highly recommend going somewhere else the Antics that have been allowed to go on there at night are not what most people want in a hotel, if they did they'd stay at Motel 6 next to a prison
Really a poor experience for someone who was attempting to treat themselves on their birthday. I had even come in two days earlier to ensure myself the spa tub that was available in some rooms. So I felt for some weird reason my room would be clean and ready. Luckily for me I have been traveling with a complete kit for sanitizing and disinfecting long before Covid-19!
I didn't have high school expectations coming here especially for the advertised price of $93.00 for two queen size beds online. However, we were charged $182 because “it costs more with two beds” despite it being the $93.00 price online and then add a $100 deposit for $282. I should've left when told this but to prevent my children being disappointed, we kept our word by staying here for the pool and the pool only after being cooped up in the house for so long. I got charged $282.00, I noticed “approved” but was informed by the receptionist it didn't go through so to swipe again. “Approved” again but apparently didn't go through, yet again. The receptionist gave me the room key “anyways”. I called my bank and I was not only charged double than online price (astronomical for a best western) but was double charged so now I had nearly $600 in charges pending and blocked in my account. We were able to remedy the situation but still those funds are frozen. The lady at the desk who informed us masks are to be worn at all times was the only one we witnessed who actually worn a mask around the hotel, even the other staff didn't that was texting on the couch in the lobby and neither did the other patrons. Our floor smelled like stale, musty cigarettes with presents of long ashes scattered throughout hallway. The pool maximum of 10 people was not followed as when we showed up there were 21 people enjoying the pool area. The pool area looked dirty but not sure what happened prior to 3 PM when we checked in so we were unaware if it was a lack of cleaning overall or from the guests that day. Our room was decent, but the beds are incredibly high, the closet door was broken, so “due to Covid” they may not be changing the bed or bathroom linens, at least from us seeing the dirty hand towels hung and prepped for us to use near the sink, the electrical sockets are incredibly loose and phone chargers practically slip out, and the remote with Netflix capability didn't work and after examining it was because there were no batteries in the remote. When we were finally able to use the pool as the guest count dwindled down, we were constantly bitten by the ants from the food and trash thrown around the pool. At night, around 2 AM we were awoken by a heavy stench of cigarettes and marijuana and confirmed once leaving the room into the hallway that the “smoke-free” rooms are nonexistent. At the end of the hallway on the third floor, near a window overlooking the pool by the stairs, were cigarette butts and a cup filled with liquid and discarded cigarettes. Overall, this place is nasty but my kids did have fun. I'm just waiting for the next couple of weeks to go by to see if we contracted coronavirus from our stay here. Go down the street to the nice Hampton Inn where their advertised price is $100 and it's reputable, a lot cleaner, they probably are following the state mandate, and you won't get robbed by staying in a place dirtier than the scummiest motel.
Our first room was so bad that the maintenance man suggested we move to a different room. The hotel added $10 amenity fee for a pool that was closed. Upon checkout, they added 3% for using a credit card. This was our worst experience in 35 years.
Fantastic service immaculate rooms. Comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. We loved the friendly, caring staff. I've stayed at many different hotels this year and this place beats them all, hands down. Best of all, this all came at a really great price. Very competitive prices.
Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Plenty of parking and the parking lot was well lit. Good price. I will stay here again if I am in the area. Could use a few more choices on the breakfast menu.
I use to go to Moreno valley bw but they band me for giving 1 bad review out of dozens of good ones instead solving the problem they band me so I started to go to hemets bw and fell in love instantly. they made me feel at home.. ty
This hotel is so nice, it looks new or remodeled, everything is clean and fresh. The beds are luxurious and super comfortable. Bathroom is spotless and has everything needed. The free breakfast is wonderful. Traveled with my daughter and feel very safe in this location as well.
when i walked in i was met by a friendly associate , rooms were always clean , very happy with everything, this facility has become one of the best i have stayed there for 15 years for this same race at perris auto speedway in either October or November I have seen many changes always for the better
I stayed here last week. Meagan was incredible at checking me in. Thank you for your hospitality She made sure I got a room with the spa tub. Thank you so much It was much nicer than I was expecting. I didn't get breakfast
Everything was so on point I just can't even praise this joint enough! Everybody I interacted with, namely Meagan in guest services, went way above and beyond the typical requirements and completely exceeded my expectations by basically working her magic and being just a generally awesome person. A thousand "thank you"s, Meagan and the entire BW Team!
Clean and comfortable beds, room, nearby restaurants, markets and shopping. Palm Springs entertainment and sightseeing also within a short drive. The included breakfast met all expectations (great make-your-own waffles). The staff was friendly, professional and more than helpful.
Our air conditioner had gone out and took a good while to be fixed. The whole time I was there the staff was absolutely amazing. This has become my home away from Home. Starting at the front desk, Maggie, Andrea, Liz and Vicki were always so accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was pleasant. The housekeepers, were great. Sandra was so sweet. And while i never had any issues with my room, the maintenance guys, Kevin and Brandon, were always busy keeping up the property. Breakfast is way more than the typical "continental breakfast" The offer biscuits and gravy and a full waffle bar on top of the eggs bacon sausage and potatoes. And Juliette and Angie, the breakfast attendants, are always there to greet you with a smile and make sure that everything is fresh and stocked.
This was our first stay at the Best Western Plus Diamond Valley Inn located in Hemet California. It was an unplanned trip from Las Vegas Nevada as my sister became ill and we came to see her. I booked the room on line and notice the check in was 3:00 pm. We have two dogs that were traveling with us and we needed to get in the room sooner to have a place for the dogs as we were headed to the hospital as soon as we got there. We stopped by the Best Western to see if they could possibly get us in the room sooner. Andrea who checked us in was such a great help. After explaining our situation she said the room was occupied but as soon as they checked out they would clean it first and then call us so we could get in sooner. That was about 9:00 am and by 10:00 am she called us to tell us it was ready. The room was great. We had the suite and it was perfect for our family. Andrea also made it convenient by giving us a room close to the parking lot and on the first floor. This was great having the dogs with us. The room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. It had a sitting room, microwave, refrigerator and large flat screen tv. Almost like being at home. We were invited to have breakfast from 6:00 to 9:00 am. Most of the time this is a pastry with coffee. Could not believe the fantastic breakfast they provided. Beverage choices were Juices, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and milk. Breakfast items were cheese omelets, bacon, country potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles with fruit toppings, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries and toast. Juliette was the lady assisting us and she was fantastic. Cleaning and refilling anything that ran low. Always with a smile. This place was just fantastic. They made me and my husband stay very comfortable. And Amber and Gunny thank you also (my dogs) as they were very comfortable. Would recommend staying here and give it a ten star plus.
Had the best time with my family. privacy and respect was given at all time. My family and comfortable were very. Any request we asked was fulfilled by all staff, Liz, Maggie, and Vicki. Time well spent. Thanks so much BW staff
Nice touches like 24/7 coffee bar and flavoured waters available. Nice amenities like fridge and microwave. Toiletries are nice too. Only wish the pool was a bit bigger and had more places to escape from screaming children, but overall very nice. I like that the rooms are accessed via a corridor as well which makes me feel a lot safer as a solo female traveller. Happy with the room and hotel and even extended my stay at this hotel.
I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel. It isn't in the most affluent area, but it was clean, brightly lit, and there was plenty of parking. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were very clean and the sheets freshly laundered. The only possible issues, and they are small, are the fact that there is only 1 elevator, and 1 ice maker in the entire hotel. However, I never had any issues. The hotel is within a mile of dining and shopping establishments. I enjoyed my stay, and will likely be back.
Hotel located in a good part of town (and there are definitely some not so good parts). Pros: Bed very comfortable: Room very clean; Morning breakfast had many choices; Staff friendly. Cons: AC/Heat unit was a bit noisy for my taste; Expediency of maintenance requests needs improvement. Had a very bright flashing light from the smoke detector that kept walking me up & a loose entry door handle (inside handle kept coming off just about everytime when I tried opening it). Reported it to the front desk two days in a row (once by phone) and the other in person. Problems were never fixed (I stayed in Rm 209). But, I still recommend this hotel if you ever have a need to stay in Hemet, Ca.
Front desk telling you that they never had a truck diver discount. Giving you a room that the a/c and fridge doesn't work. Then asking if we can change rooms was like pulling teeth. We got a different room that actually worked. As for the pool, it was smelling pretty awful and looked really dirty. I did tell the front desk, a different person, and she got on it fast.
I stayed in the Best Western Ca for five nights and was very pleased. The rooms were clean and nice. I liked the speed of the internet. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in a Motel, If you need a coin laundry, it is located a 1/2 block away.
I was undecided where I was staying because I was in Hemet last minute. I went to this Best Western last minute. My check in was swift. Liz I believe her name is, checked me in. I got a decent rate. My room had no problem except my toilet seat was a bit loose. Other than that, no problem. They may wanna consider longer shower curtains because the water gets all over the floor. But my room was clean, beds were comfy, internet was working. The room comes with a microwave...I didn't check for a fridge. The location is good. There are plenty of stores and places to eat. Just be careful in the parking lot. There are some questionable folks lingering outside. There is plenty of parking. The hotel is quiet. I had not issues with my stay and I would definitely go back again.
Best place I've been to in a long time. Staff is always helpful and the rooms are more than comfortable. Highly recommended for an awesome nights stay!! Beds are really comfortable and the hot water stays on as long as you want!!!
This is suppose to be a Best Western Suite and appears more like a Motel Six facility. Staff is uncarring and act like the fault is with the guest. After all the guest failed by dealing with a staff member who failed to write the registration in the book seemed to be the operating logic at this hotel.
Could be better for a best western. All the others were great that is why I choose them. The carpet was dirty there was you soak in the bathtub there was an open bag of Kit Kats by the TV the TV took over half hour to get to work the blanket on the pull-out sofa look like it had bleach stains from cleaning it and a hair on top of it so maybe nobody cleaned it before or at least the sheets were clean the TV repair guy was nice the people were nice that place could have been cleaner maybe they didn't know at we are going to be there I don't know the carpet was hard to look at even if it would have been clean besides that when you're tired and you just want to clean room that you could watch some TV take a shower and go to sleep I really didn't want to use the bathroom didn't look like it was cleaned maybe they thought the people were spending the night there weren't leaving made it know they had new people I don't know most Best Westerns I stay at our all super duper that's where I stay at Best Westerns cuz I can count on that
Very unhappy worker, Worker complaining about broke furniture, management complain front of customers, shower door was broken informed front deck concerning this issue, they ignored i mention again in the morning to front deck, individual told me sorry and she gave me $20 discount"" !!!!!! last week we had to meet our friends for wedding in Hemet, CA this was the closes best western from wedding reception, check into my room and saw no show door in the bathroom. instead of changing me to another room they told me" you are using your points and this is only room we have at this time" and they put up temp Shower curtain .
Rooms are a bit outdated. Not the cleanest hotel room I've ever been in. Beds seemed quite high off the ground. We were on the ground floor and apparently there was a herd of elephants in the room above us. We had a ground floor room, facing out to the main road and it was very noisy. My biggest complaint, is there was never anyone at the Reception desk whenever we walked in. When we first checked in, we had to wait 15 minutes for someone to appear. Every time we came back to the hotel, there was never anyone there. Needless to say, we cancelled our last 2 nights.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Centrally located. Rooms were ample, freshly updated and clean. Breakfast was your basic hotel free breakfast. The rooms did suffer from a bit of street noise and the refrigerator was quite noisy. Very nice bed.
My room was so so. I picked up a dried up bug in a corner of the bathroom floor and the corner of the floor wasn't clean. Then the fire alarm sensor woke me up and kept going off. I assume the battery was going out. Then at breakfast there was a tip jar for the breakfast person I never saw? This is supposed to be a complimentary breakfast. Thought that was tacky. Compared to other chains, seems like Best Western needs to do a better job.
I reserved a handicap room which we did receive. Other than that, the rest of the stay was not enjoyable. This Best Western Hotel is dirty and lacks regular maintenance. Our room was on the first floor next to the pool and hot-tub which were closed due to contamination. The room smelled awful immediately, a very strong chemical smell on top of a foul smell. Other than the handicap shower, the rest of the room was quite small and cluttered, not really manageable for wheelchair. The window opened to an alley and had a tiny little lock on the window and the screen was all bent up. We used the ironing board in the closet and one side of the legs were broken off. The roller for toilet paper holder fell off. My white socks were black in the morning from one night of walking on the carpeted floor. My other family members in a different room also complained of dirty room and one person got stuck in the shower when the accordion shower door jammed and would not open. There are many other options for Hotels within 1/2 mile of this location, pick one of those.
First time at this location and everything was great! will defiantly be back when I'm in the area. Breakfast was fantastic! the room was clean and had everything I needed! would definitely recommend staying here!
It was close to where we wanted to be. Clean room, friendly staff and breakfast was great. Also got a discount as we were visiting friends at the RV PARK that was right next to this hotel. Would stay here again.
We look forward to traveling when we are headed to this location. Everyone seems to go out of their way to make us feel at home. Employees are so helpful & happy to help. Breakfast is slightly varied daily. Just so pleasant all around.
Check in was quick and easy. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast items were fine, although I would have preferred some more healthful muffin types. Check out was also very efficient. The staff seems caring!
We wouldn't stay anywhere else. Perfect location, comfy beds, great breakfast, and super friendly staff. We have been staying here on our Southern California visits to see family for the last 3 years.
5 star reviews my a$$. The room was dirty. Unfinished closet, carpet needs cleaning, lamps in disrepair, hot water was cool to luke warm, and the did not drain. The toilet was constantly running. Breakfast food was decent. But the place was filthy. Cabinets don't appear to have been wiped clean in a long time. The hostess never cleaned any tables while we were there. The maintenance man came and got a big jug of juice and to check the TV listings for football. The front staff came to get food. The seating area floor was filthy and the ceiling lights were out of place and in need of repair. Not worth the price. I thought best western was better than this.
We just checked out of this Best Western, and it was a great experience! The check in/out process were easy, the room was very comfortable, and the location was great! The complementary breakfast is super good! It has variety for all the dietary needs in our family, and i observed employees refilling and keeping the dining area clean. I walked over to the pool and the gym and I was so happily surprised to see such clean amenities, as I've had bad experiences in other hotels. This is a great location! Thank you for the hospitality, we will be back on our next trip through Hemet.
Great service!!! Reasonable prices. At check-in: She was very professional and she mentioned to me a rate discount revenue to me which I joined for a Bestwestern rewards and saved 10% on my stay. I also requested 1st floor room and it was granted. Thank you once again in advance.
We have been staying at this location for the last five years. The staff goes above and beyond. The beds are comfy, the hotel is clean, and the pool and spa are heavenly. 100 percent recommend for your stay.
My traveling companion (my wife) stayed here for 3 days while going to family wedding. When first approaching location it's different being set off the road behind a Wendy's. But inside it is very nice. Has a nice sitting area as well as a great breakfast area. Our room was 2 queen room. We actually slept in different beds just because we could. We were really exhausted from traveling from Texas and this was our time to relax. Maid service was great. Breakfast was delicious. No complaints worth the stop if you're in the area.
The hotel was great. It's not a 5 star hotel but was great for the price. The rooms seem a little small but we were only in there to sleep. It looks like they made a lot of upgrades. The breakfast was good and ready on time. Since I had to be out early it was great to be able to grab breakfast before we left. I would stay again.
Very clean, nice, comfortable. Beds great, staff very friendly. Breakfast was nice, with eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal. Definitely worth the few extra $$ to stay here in Hemet vs. some of the other options out there.
We were provided different information about payment over the phone and in-person, so having staff on the same page would be really helpful. One of the windows in the rooms did not close, so we had to request a room change.
Issue after issue; baited and switched the rooms, double-billed us for the pleasure of switching the room, toilet had to be double-flushed and one had to hold down the handle to do that, etc. NEVER booking this hotel again. Does NOT represent the BW brand well and as for it being a Plus? Yeah. Definitely a negative.
The Bedding of one of my rooms was like sleeping on the floor. No Padding at all. The other room I had, the carpet was wet in the whole room, my mother almost fell because of it. The front desk guy was rude and was no help. We were going to stay for 2 weeks for work but checked out after 1 night and went down the street to the Hampton Inn.
My family and I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights during a family vacation. We visited several Palm Springs attractions. The lobby is small but clean. There is a flat screen TV playing that turns to face the tiny breakfast area. The breakfast was good but a bit less than we have seen at other Best Western Plus sites. They have essentially biscuits and one other choice as well as waffles. The room itself was on the 3rd floor facing the front. The room was very clear and nicely kept but small. There is a long counter on the right on a wall with a TV, college fridge, and microwave. At the end is a chair. On the left were two queen beds and a tiny nightstand. There is not a separate table. On the left is a teeny tiny closet and itsy bitsy bathroom. The door to the bathroom covers hits the closet. The bathroom is so tiny that the shower only door folds nearly into the toilet. The bathroom counter is tiny. The beds themselves are raised high with space under the feet. This was the only way we could accompany our bags. The worst part of the room were the walls and door to an adjoining room. We could hear EVERYTHING in the next room like they were speaking in our room. That includes the TV. The TV itself was great as was the wifi which is important to my connected family. I wish I could give half stars as I would give 3.5 stars. :( We all thought this hotel was more Best Western and less Best Western Plus.
This property has everything you want in a hotel. Clean, comfortable and the tub/shower was a jetted spa tub! Internet was fast and the hotel was immaculately clean. Breakfast had a variety of options, including hot items that were well done. Staff is respectful and helpful.
I use several hotels for my clients that are displaced due to a fire in their homes. The Best Western was very accommodating and kind to my client. I appreciate the staff at the front desk going the extra mile to help keep the guest in the same room when we needed to extend the stay with short notice. I will be happy to use the Best Western for myself, and my clients in the future.
My husband and I loved this Hotel. We recommend this hotel to everyone who wants or needs a home away from home anytime as the service and rooms are clean and the bed's are comfortable. The staff goes out of their way to make sure that you stay is worth more than is expected. The price right too.
Great location for us and easy to find. The hotel was clean and newly renovated. I'm not a big fan of the contemporary/modern decor but that's just me; it was still nice. The room was a bit on the small side but was sufficient. I was surprised by how quiet the room was considering the location and there were groups of kids there for sports. The bed was very comfortable. Very friendly staff. Will probably stay there again since we have family in the area.
My wake up call for 5:30 am came ONE hour earlier at 4:30 am. The coffee machine at the Breakfast bar was broken down. I had phoned ahead and requested a pet friendly room, but I was upgraded to a "better" room were no pets were allowed. Confusion at check in BIG TIME. I will stay at the hotel only because it is close to where I need to be and that is the only reason.
The rooms are very small Beds are comfortable They served expired yogurt at breakfast The toilet didn't work without a plunger You can't use the stairs because they lock you in. Forced to only use elevator. We would not stay here again
Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms were clean!! Quite place to stay. Will definitely booked with them again. Continental breakfast was much more than expected. A lot of food. All the staff was very friendly!
Recent change from different hotel brand to the Best Western Plus group. Everything was fresh & spotless. Staff & accommodations were first rate at a still typical Best Western affordable nightly rate. I would recommend this unit to anyone for any travel purpose (family or business).
I have no complaints. Just as comfortable and welcoming like the more expensive competition net door. Conveniently located close to shops, gas stations and eateries. Very quiet at night even though it's on a main, busy street.
Very affordable, clean, excellent service, Breakfast all Great!!!!! This has maintained the level of service for all our visits we look forward to being there when in the area. Staff location just the place to stay
Great Hotel!! Great Staff... Vicky made our hotel stay one of the best we have had in a long time. Room was clean Ac worked great esp in this Hemet heat.. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was great.. Thank you for the great hospitality.. We will def be back??
excellent staff with a good value for room and breakfast. There are several restaurants nearby to get a good dinner. Any time I am working in the area I stay at this BW. Keep up the good work and thank the fine staff.
Nice Hotel. Courteous staff. Decent breakfast. The pool area was nice and clean. The fitness room was clean. Plenty of cable channels and movie channels. There is a microwave and refrigerator in the room.
Stayed for 6 days no Internet all week no lights working on the 1st day and the water was turned off for 6 hours on the 6 day I had paid for 7 but I could not take it anymore I checked out and move next door to the Hampton never ever again will I stay at the Best Western And the staff was the rudest people I've ever met
Bed was like sleeping on cement. Woke up to arm aching. Very uncomfortable. Also, pull out bed (sofa) was saggy, sister could not get comfortable. The room had the strong smell of deodorizer. Carpet was sticky near the air conditioner. But, I have to say, the staff was very nice.
Won't stay anywhere else in the Hemet / SanJacinto area. Great staff, friendly faces, amenities, etc. I come here often when visiting my kids and they love it as well. This is always an all around great stay.
The staff is OK . The breakfast is decent. Hotel pretty shady. First time ever staying at a best western, I probably won't be staying here again. Shady, and suspect people hanging around the parking lot. I stayed at the Hampton right next door, now that's a proper hotel! Felt way way safer!
We recently stayed over at this hotel. It is easy to find. It was clean and quiet. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was good, except there was not adequate seating. Hemet was once a sleepy desert escape for northerners seeking a warm place to winter. No more. Hemet has 80,000 people. If you need to spend the night there, this is a good place to stay.
If you are comparing hotels in Hemet only...this is a great hotel... The facility itself is newer and did a decent job at keeping it clean. Lots of free parking out front. Check in was friendly and quick. The bad, the bed was probably the worst (hardest) bed I have had to deal with in a very long time. Remember that this is Hemet, it gets hot and dry. So, we needed to run the a/c..The a/c unit would cycle on and off all through the night. Each time it cycled on, it rattled like it was going to come off the wall... then when it cycled off it literally "cried" like a cat was being strangled... loudly...WTF it was soooo annoying! The two made for an extremely uncomfortable night with no sleep. The bathroom in this room was configured with the shower and toilet in their own room, sink outside that room. You could not open the door without hitting the person standing at the sink. And, of course you had to make sure that door was shut if you intended to be at the sink. Really? who thought that one out? When I turned on the water for the shower, the tub faucet came out of the wall... yeah really. Water kept coming out, but the faucet was about 3 inches away from the wall, with a gaping hole in the tile. Great, just great... BUT HEY.... they have free breakfast!!! I made my waffle with fruit, and it was just a beautiful day.... in..oh I'm still in Hemet.
Once again the staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was really nice too - remodeled, clean, and fresh. Breakfast is always really good - even the coffee is outstanding. Pool nice too. Only complaint was is their internet was down. They had problems with it last time too. Otherwise perfect stay and highly recommend this hotel.
I've stayed here numerous times the environment is lovely & there is great customer service, the breakfast is delicous and always hot. Not to mention the workers do very well with any situation.10/10 recommend if in Hemet
We stayed here on a Saturday night during a trip to Idyllwild, then on to Soboba casino and Riverside. It is a little further than I anticipated from the mountain road but glad we found it. It is located near the main roads and plenty of shopping center and restaurants of all types close by. About 20 minutes to Soboba and 45 minutes to Riverside. The room on the 3rd floor was average/small with a King size bed but well appointed. The bed was quite high but plush. Nice. Excellent air conditioner under the south facing window, it functioned very well using the thermostat controls. Good desk area and plenty of spots for suitcases. Had a reading chair and good lighting. TV had Direct tv and plenty of channels. Bathroom was a good design but very small. Had to squeeze by the angled toilet to get to the shower, but it worked. Just a shower stall, not a tub. Shower worked great with good pressure and a good nozzle. Then had a small vanity - all was adequate and did not give us any problems. Best parts of our visit were the workers at the hotel from the first greeting, to the lady in the breakfast room. They also had some chocolate cookies at the check in desk for the guests. Nice! And the breakfast........ The breakfast was a full meal if you chose. Eggs and sausage cakes, grits and gravy, waffle maker, juices, muffins. Many more items. Very nice. The breakfast area is unfortunately quite tiny to accommodate the number of guests. Everyone was very polite and adaptable while we were there. I suggest that you get there early, specially on a weekend morning. We would return here without a second thought....Good value for the money.
I've had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Plus Diamond Valley Inn in Hemet several times over the last year, for business. The staff is warm and helpful, the rooms clean, and the beds comfortable. They have a gym, pool and business center, as well. Overall I've been very satisfied with my stays at the hotel. When I come in the staff know me by name, which shows the effort they make in knowing their guests. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Hemet.
We came here on soccer tournament and was received by the front desk with great attitude. She was willing to help out right away not just my check in but everyone that walked in and out of the door. Not sure if Megan was here name but thank you for your excellant service.
Best Western Plus in Hemet, CA is now a recommendation I can make with confidence. If all BWPs are like this one, it will be my choice of hotels. The quality of service, amenities and rooms are definitely a plus and the price is right, great value.
Truly enjoyed our stay most definitely will be returning. Megan the front desk clerk was superb. The whole staff made our stay comfortable. The room was ample in space breakfast was wonderful. Room was clean close to any and everything' you may need. Family oriented and welcomed our family with a smile. Check in was easy and fast. Thank you for making our stay memorable.
My room is on the 3rd floor facing the back, but it has the most amazing view of the sunset. Staff has been friendly and helpful, and made my stay very enjoyable. We will be here for a total of 3 months. My husband is working here, meanwhile I am able to visit family that live in the area. The breakfast is simple, and very nice. The maids were all very nice and cheerful also.
Very satisfied with the hotel, loved everything about it. Megan was very kind and was very helpful. The hotel had gray service and everything i needed. Great atmosphere, great people. Nice gym and pool.
I stayed here at the last minute while helping my Mother. It was very nice. My only 2 dislikes me they are not huge, are the bed could be more comfortable and the breakfast area is too small. Overall; loved it.
The only negative about this hotel are the size of the rooms and the dining/breakfast area. Both are small considering the amount of guests they have. Everything else is great! Not much of a pet area as well, but there are surrounding places that help with that.
Staff was great - very friendly, especially Andrea, Vicki, Gabby, Lindsay, Heather, Brandon, Juliette, Daisy, Lori, Graciella, Mari and Rosana! Room was nice and very clean. Breakfast was good. We will use Best Western in the future. This was our first experience with Best Western, but won't be our last.
The gym is amazing at this hotel! The location was very easy to see on the way there. They also have rollers to put your bags on it's easier for you to take it to your room. The pool isn't that bad, but I though it was going to bigger.
We visit Hemet every 2 two to 3 weeks. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. Everything is clean, beds are comfy, and the staff is awesome. Don't waste your time looking for a cheaper place. The cheap ones are terrible. Breakfast is fresh and tasty with lots of options. Sign up at bestwestern.com and you'll get their summer promotion for a $10 voucher on your next stay and best rate pricing. Please give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
this is a great location close to Everything you will ever need during your visit. the front desk staff was very helpful the Breakfast is good and tasty. the beds sleep great. TV is nice and clear even has the movie channel
We are just checking out of the hotel this morning. We stayed for two nights on vacation. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and my children loved the pool. The staff was always on top of making sure breakfast is stocked up throughout the morning and nothing seems to run out even though they are busy. The location is awesome, you are close to everything you could need. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again if we come back to town.
Overall our stay was fine. The rate was inexpensive, convenient, parking was readily available, the place was very clean and we were able to have our dog with us too. Rather than go into a long narrative, I'll just list pros/cons (with brief explanations). As a summary though, I would say this is probably the best option short of paying another $70+ (if not more) per night. Service: 3.5 out of 5 Location: 5 out of 5 Value: 4 out of 5 for weekend visits Pros: Relatively inexpensive Convenient (easy to find, centrally located) Pet friendly (tho' not as much so as some places) Great air conditioning in middle of hot desert summer Excellent swimming pool Fairly wide selection in self-serve breakfast (incl. in cost of room) Largely quiet Extremely helpful and friendly housekeeping staff Cons: Sticky doors (not sure if stuff was not cleaned off or if it was too many layers of paint) SMALL bathroom, tho' had tub & shower closet door & bathroom door often collided SMALL entryway into main part of room Not so many free TV channels compared with PPV Some front desk staff not all that friendly - weekend staff not as friendly as weekday staff
We enjoyed our stay in Hemet for two nights. We had comfortable beds and the room was very clean. The breakfast was good and had a variety of different things to eat, hot and cold. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We stayed here to get an early start on the trek up to San Jacinto Peak. The hotel is very clean and looks recently remodeled / upgraded. The staff is very attentive and friendly as well. The rooms are very clean as and the bathrooms have good accomodations and roomy shower. The walls are a bit thin but it may have been the noisy neighbors too.
I stayed for several days while visiting friends who recommended the Best Western because it is not far from their home. Other friends visiting at the same time were also in the hotel, in a different room, and were also happy with it. I had a comfortable first-floor room with windows for daylight, but with no security concerns because the area behind the building was fenced and locked. Insulation must have been good, because I was in the hallway to the pool and exercise room and barely heard any comings and goings. Everything worked, wi-fi was reliable, and I always like having a microwave and mini-fridge. The 24-hour desk staff was courteous and pleasant, and if you got back at a reasonable time of the evening there were cookies or pastries for guests (Irish soda bread on St. Paddy's Day!). One of the best things about Best Western's is the breakfast. The breakfast room here had ample seating, a big-screen TV, and even a fireplace (I don't know if it was real or just glued on for atmosphere). The food selections usually included fruit, cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, pastries, and 2 or 3 juices. The staff was attentive, replenishing items as needed. Even after breakfast service ended for the day, carafes of coffee, tea, and plain or flavored water were always available. There is scads of parking and I never had to park far from the hotel entrance. The hotel is next to a small strip mall that includes a few fast food places, and across Florida Avenue (busy boulevard, so look both ways before dashing across) is a big shopping center with Target and other major stores. Since I spent most of the time with my friends, I didn't make any excursions over there, but I could have conveniently done so. There is also a Home Depot a short walk away if anyone is inclined to look for a ladder or lawn mower while staying here. Hemet is an urban area and this is not a quaint, off-the-beaten-path country retreat. It doesn't have much landscaping or an outdoor sitting area with trees and shade (the pool is just a pool, with seating and tables and not much ambience). But for business or personal visits where you just need a clean, comfortable place, it's ideal. If I could make only one change, it would be to have a laundromat - however, in case of dire need, there is a commercial laundromat in the adjoining strip mall, maybe 200 yards away.
All in all a good location and clean hotel. The rooms are a little awkward as the bathroom is right by the front door, and overlaps with the one closet in the room. I have stayed here twice and will continue to come back.
Room was nice, loved the pool. Staff was nice and helpful! Bathroom was a little small but very well kept! The AC was nice and the location was perfect. Target right across the street and lots of places to eat
Rooms are very well decorated and comfortable beds. I Stay here often for work and always the staff is great. Breakfast is good. The Nice pool is refreshing. Close to many different restaurants and shopping.
My husband stayed there due to a visit for a death in the family June 19th-21st. What to his surprise when leaving early morning of the 20th to find a police officer standing next to his 3 month old truck thank goodness it was ok however he saw a poor gentelman sitting on the curb his u-haul trailer rental had been stolen off the back of his vehicle. Due to the way the city is having issues it is sad that you cant travel there without problems. Upgraded security would be a great ideal. Worrying about a small hotel parking lot does not make for sleep
my sister and I were traveling back from Arizona, and we had car problems. need to get room for couple days. the staff was very helpful and friendly. one employee went out of there way to go open room for us when we went the wrong way and unloaded our luggage
This is a refurbished Super 8 and it shows. There was no hot water for both days that we were there. There was no house keeping. I was told they "forgot". We were told at check in that we were being upgraded to the third floor. If this was an upgrade I would hate to see the other rooms.
A very good hotel for the value. Clean room and great breakfast. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great place to stay. Would stay there again if in Hemet and need a place to stay with my family.
Nice clean hotel. The staff were very friendly, especially Vicky at the front desk. The rooms were clean, nice in size and the beds were real comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was extremely good. They had so many different things to pick from. Like waffles, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy and so many more to choose from. Stay here and you will be very satisfied like I am.
The front staff was so kind and friendly upon arrival she explained all fees and charges before she ran my card through. She as well stated what they have pool jacuzzi workout room etc... They work out room was VERY clean well kept all machines worked and worked properly. They had two large I believe at least 40+ inch tvs in the workout room which is really nice. The pool was refreshing and SUPER clean as well as the jacuzzi. The pool furniture was abundant and clean. We needed a handicapped room stayed in room 110 it was very clean with good size refrigerator and microwave as well as queen size bed with nice fluffy pillows. the pool has handicapped equipment for disabled. We felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel , maybe we were and just didnt know it as the price was excellent
Very clean and nice. The breakfast has a lot of choices to choose from. My daughter and I both enjoyed the wide selection of items. There was a large group of young men hanging out in the parking lot so I thought there might be a problem with the noise level. But we didn't hear a thing, it was a very peaceful and quiet night. Thanks again!
Our Senior softball team stays here once a month. Always have great service and the beds are soooo comfortable. Will always use Best Western Plus in Hemet for our tournaments. Thank you for the amazing service.
I can't say enough good things about our stay here. I would give you 10 Stars+, not just 5 Stars. Let me start with Juliette. She is a KEEPER for this establishment! Juliette is the lady who keeps the amazing and beautiful breakfast area impeccably clean and appetizing. My Husband and I have stayed at hundreds of these types of Hotels that say there is a "breakfast" included. You know, a danish and juice, which is more than ok. I usually don't even partake in that because of very poor presentation. Now, enter into Juliette's dining area at Best Western Plus Diamond Valley Inn. There were eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, non-bruised fruits, bagels, assorted cold cereals, toast, fresh made waffles, oatmeal, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, 2% milk, water.....They even had fresh toppings and fruits for the waffles! My compliments to your chefs. But Juliette is the most amazing front person to keep your travelers fed, happy and feeling clean. She was running, cleaning, preparing and taking care of this eating area like it was her own. My advice to you is don't ever lose Juliette, pay her well, acknowledge her worth publicly and give her incentives that keep her motivated and feeling appreciated. Your establishment is beyond clean, friendly and accommodating. But for me, I will be back because you have Juliette, an exemplary employee. :-)
I came in an went to the counter to check in with Vicky she gave me my room key was not very friendly but it was ok. I got to my room where I reserved a nonsmoking room but as soon as I walked into my room 208 I was hit with the smell of cigarettes. I immediately called downstairs to let Vicky know and she said thats fine don't worry about it I will mark it down so you don't get charged and hung up the phone. I had to call back and ask for another room she asked if we had sat on the beds and I told her we just walked in. She said ok I will take care of it and hung up the phone again before I could even ask what I needed to do. So I left my kids ages 17 and 5 with our lugage in the hallway of the the 2nd floor so I could go downstairs and ask what I needed to do. Well Vicky was not pleased that I told her I was not done talking when she hung up the phone on me. She said well I can't seem to make anyone happy today. I explained to her that I can't be in a room where people have been smoking and I would like another or my money back. She was rolling her eyes and just being rude. She gave me a new room on the 3rd floor and handed me the keys I handed her the keys from room 208 and she just threw them on the counter. I said well thats nice of you to just throw those on the counter the said she did not throw them. I ask you to please look over the video of the cameras that I hope were recording her as she was giving me the worst attitude I have had in any hotel.Your Vicky is not committed to hospitality and is not at all friendy.
Great Best Western........it feels very new......super clean, friendly.....great beds, terrific and very friendly staff. Nice pool and workout room. Close to everthing.......walkable. A great stop on the way to Joshua Tree National Park.
My room was excellent and the staff was helpful and pleasant. Enjoyed my stay very much. I travel often and on a scale of 1-10 this hotel was a 10 and I would recommend the BW over the Hampton Inn that is just down the street from this location. They took very good care of me. I am a Platinum member and loved my room upgrade.
The best hotel i ever stayed at. The staff is the best. So clean and breakfast is soo good. Loved it. They have free wifi and free breakfast everyday. They have a business center or computers to go on internet and print things. They have a heated pool amd gym.
We did not know what to expect from this hotel but was a good value and it would suit our needs for this trip. What a NICE surprise this Best Western was. Clean, so convenient to shopping and restaurants, great staff, great value, one of the better Best Westerns we have stayed at. We will definitely stay at this hotel whenever we are in this area.
Never been to the Hemet area before so did not what to expect. But, this hotel surprised me. Great prices, great WIFI, super clean, near fast food & restaurants, free BKF, someone is always cleaning, very friendly = JUST LIKE A STAR. Perfect. And best yet, when there is a problem, they fix it immediately. Do not know when I will be back in Hemet, but will only consider booking here!!! Thanks to the great staff Baja Mike
For many years I have stayed for family visits in Hemet. The only 2 plus star hotel has been the Hampton Inn. They know they are good and the prices have been going up and up. This Best Western in a totally stripped and remodel hotel from a prior chain. They did GOOD. Priced right for the area. I would like to see a few more chains do what Best Western did for this hotel.
This is one of the better Best Western plus motels I've been to. I am a Best Western loyalty rewards customer so I've stated at a lot. Everything was pristine from the lobby, dinning area, rooms, pool and surrounding grounds. This motel is within walking distance to anything you need. About a dozen fast food places as well as convenience store, drug stores & grocery stores. The Rooms are well appointed with a large flat screen tv, coffee maker, micro wave and large mini fridge.
We were on a family trip and the hotel was just what we needed. traveling with our two dogs also, this hotel was pet friendly and that help eased our minds and made it stress free. by letting bring the dogs, we didn't have to worry about a pet sitter and could happy that they were allowed to be with us.
I highly recommend this hotel. The service was great from Megan and Vicki at the front desk, Nikki in management and Juliette in housekeeping. Not to mention they have the best breakfast. I want to thank all of you that had accommodated my 2 daughters and I. We definatley will be coming back. Thank you ladies for making our stay enjoyable.
For Hemet California this place was very nice. The staff was awesome. The king suite should have had two televisions. The walk in shower was nice. The in shower toiletries were a good addition. The breakfast was mediocre.
I would recommend. Just make sure that it's specified on check in times otherwise you'll be waiting for over 2 hours for a room. But, one checked in and situated its convenient and close to shopping and various eating spots
Wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and courteousness of the staff. Check in was a beeeze. Staff was very thorough and double-checked to make sure our room keys work before sending us on our way. The room and bathroom were clean and even had a full size mini fridge and microwave. Bfast was good too!
Nice place. Great breakfasts, good variety. Convenient location. Stayed for four nights. Staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the better reasonably priced hotels in Hemet. I asked to change my room to a quiter one and the staff quickly made the change. They even delivered the key for the new room to me while I was packing up.
If you read my previous review when this was a super 8 you will note I did not have a good stay. I saw that it was changed to a best western and remodeled so I figured we would try again when we came down to visit family. Positives are the hotel is much nicer. Definitely cleaner and updated. The breakfast in the morning was good and the staff very nice. Now my reservation issues. I originally booked online through the Best Western website for one night. I booked a king room with a jetted tub. The jetted tub was $10 more but I thought it was worth it. We arrived for a late check in (aprox 11:30). I asked if I could change my reservation to two nights instead of one. The clerk said that they were sold out of my room type for the second night but she could change me to a two queen room. I said that was fine. I assumed (incorrectly that I would still have the tub). When I arrived at the room not only was there no jetted tub there was only a very small shower. I called to the front desk and asked and she said that it was the only room they had for both nights. I pointed out that I paid extra for the jetted tub but she said all rooms on the 3rd floor are more expensive (not sure why). At this point I was tired and let it slide. I was staying in room 315. not sure if it is a random set up of if all the rooms are like this but the bathroom was ridiculously small. You had to practically step over the toilet to get into the shower. Also the shower had the worst water pressure ever and it took forever to get the shampoo out of my hair.
This place was the worst. From the staff to the room size to the lack of wifi to the filth everywhere. DO NOT GO HERE! I am a diamond elite member and was given a room downgrade. The carpet FILTHY dust bunnies everywhere. STAFF WAS RUDE UNTIL I ASKED FOR THE GM INFO>
This is our second stay. It is always enjoyable. We feel at home here and appreciate the efforts by staff and the owner. We encourage other out of Town visitors to stay here. Others in our group have noted the improvements in past few years and were also very happy.
No internet while I was there. Maid carts were scattered here and there so it made it impossible to get the trolley down the hallway. Location is on the good side of Hemet. It appears that many golfers use this hotel.
We stayed at Best Western Plus Diamond Valley Inn in Hemet for two nights while checking out vacation homes in the area's 55+ communities. Reception gals were wonderful; property was very nicely maintained; room was so quiet that we were able to sleep with window open at night. Super comfortable beds and a full hot breakfast made this a great spot to use as base camp while exploring future home sites.
Everything was great and service was awesome. Room was clean. Shower head had water pressure. Breakfast was great. Would come back. All we needed was the swimming pool because we checked in late and it would've been a perfect trip. Would stay here again.
The hotel was perfect as I had business in Hemet, CA and being a Best Western rewards member - this was perfect, room was clean & I'm not into breakfast but the eggs, biscuits and gravy was Great. This hotel comes highly recommended hotel.
The room itself was lovely, beautiful colors and the tiling in the bathroom was top notch. Problems with this hotel- the room smelt like smoke, the pool was freezing, I prefer to drink out of a glass not plastic and I like my coffee in a mug not styrofoam
Very good, love the room. Room is very clean. Love the idea of a free breakfast and having cookies in the evening. Not much else I can add since we are only here for one night. Non-smoking rooms is a plus.
I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel quality. It was not rated as well as the Hampton or Quality Inn so I was apprehensive about staying here. When we checked in I quickly realized all would be fine. I think the older negative reviews were from their previous location. It appears they recently moved. The staff was helpful, room was clean and updated, breakfast was of good quality and variety. Loved having the fridge and microwave...very useful. Plenty of towels, pillows, cups were provided. They offer a nice room off the lobby to socialize with friends or watch a game. I did not use the pool so I cannot comment on that. One thing to note, the bed is rather high (and very firm), the bathroom is small and the sound from the next room was crystal clear. The room next to us had the adjoining door to ours so maybe the seal around the door needs to be replaced? All in all the hotel was pleasant and suited our needs.
Room was nice and spacious with plenty of counter space. It seemed clean other than the damp carpet. Close to shopping (target and mall) and to many fast food places. They offer free hot breakfast. Wifi is also free although it wasn't working at night.
If you need to be in Hemet, this is the place to stay. Reasonable price, nicely furnished, clean, friendly. Very nice breakfast. Close to Target and many restaurants. Premium channels and great air conditioning. It really was perfect.
Thanks for the assistance with the many teams that visited over the weekend. Very clean and close to the fields. Breakfast was warm and fresh, plenty for hungry softball girls to get their fill. Thanks!
My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and I booked 2 rooms beside one another. We loved staying here at this hotel in Hemet. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we really appreciated that. The rooms were very clean, the beds were so comfortable, the shower was hot and good pressure. My husband loved the TV, said it was a high end TV with great channels and programming and easy to use with the guide. The breakfast in the morning was awesome and the coffee served was very good. My husband and son loved making a waffle for breakfast and the eggs, sausages and biscuits were also very good. Lots of parking out front and there are lots of restaurants and shopping on the street for convenience. Nice pool and pool area but the water was too cold so we couldn't get in for a dip. It was nice and quiet staying here and we would gladly stay here again.
The staff was very nice as was their hot breakfast the next morning. However, our sleep was marred by the firmest bed we've ever tried to sleep on........the operative word being "tried"! It was so hard that after four days later, we are both suffering from residual backaches. I can recommend the property - just not the good nights sleep!
Had an awesome stay loved the room and the service provided was above all outstanding (: We had no problems the room was clean and perfect customer service we are definitely coming back and staying here again !
Travel often to Hemet and have stayed in many hotels. This is by far the best for price. Remodeled, clean, friendly staff, nice pool & gym, and fantastic breakfast. Bathroom small, but brand new and functional. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Definitely worth a try.
Recently we have needed to stay in Hemet to meet with contractors in Menifee. We were pleasantly surprised with the Diamond Valley in. We are platinum Best Western members and have stayed at many Best Westerns across the US. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful. I would like to give a shout out to Vicki at the front desk. She is the best!!! We will be staying there for our sixth time this weekend. Chuck & Vicki October 2016
This hotel is very clean and supper friendly The breakfast was out of this world The workers are so polite and friendly The beds are so humfy i could sleep all day ?? Thank you for a great and restfull time Thank you for all you do... Efrem, Kathyann,And Arthur 2016
We had a whole softball team with us. Hotel staff were friendly, very helpful and courteous. Love that they had complimentary flowing drinks in the dining area! They don't have a self serve laundry area in the hotel but there is one that is very close by. If we ever go back to Hemet we will certainly stay here once again.
Bathroom so cramped you couldn't move around, no proper desk to use a computer, only chair in room beside computer chair had to be moved in order to watch TV and walls so thin we heard neighbor's conversations.
I really enjoyed my 3 day stay here (Wish it could've been longer lol). Rooms were really nice and clean and fully stocked with supplies and towels. comfortable bedding and pillows :) Best rooms in Hemet by far. Would love to come back for another stay in the future.
Our stay at the hotel was great. We traveled with our little one so it's important to us that the room feel clean and safe. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were contemporary with all the cable channels. Breakfast was waffles, eggs and sausage- so good. My one complaint is the walls at the hotel were very thin. We could hear everything in the room next to us and the hallway. We were woken up by the sounds of other rooms tv's and talking in the hallway. We will stay here again, hopefully there are less people here then.
Helpful , courteous and friendly staff, nice beautiful stay, wonderful full breakfast everyday. Waffles were great. I would stay again. Clean. I was there for 8 days , very comfortable beds. Convenient location. Eateries, fast food near by.
While we have stayed many times at this great hotel tonight we had Ann emergency a and gabby was so understanding we could not pick up one of our sick horses she made it so easy we will only stay there when we are in hemet .there hotel is great and the staff is incredible always a awesome place to say and always very accomadating..
* Stayed here a few years ago when it was under another name and I did not want to stay again I am very glad I gave it a chance again great upgrades * request third floor as that has been upgraded to pillow-top beds * I will definitely be back when we return next year!
I would strongly recommend that you stay here at this specific Best Western. The personnel are total professional and extremely personable as well. The Breakfast Buffet is a major hit and a huge plus! If you do not get full, it is your fault! One recommendation, Garmin finds this Best Western and it is in fact a Travel Lodge. Note that this Best Western is located behind Wendy's and may be difficult to locate. It is worth the find!!!
This was highly rated on Trip Advisor. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were really lumpy. The A/C was very noisy. The bathroom and the sink area was very cramped. The hair dryer was missing in the room. I should have checked it before needing it.
can never ask for more in a convenient hotel with convenient locations, breakfast source as well as being very affordable with a great rewards program. Best Western Hotels and Resorts have definitely earned my business by time and time again coming to my rescue when any other hotels have failed.
The General Manager and the staff took great care of us. When we arrived the room we were given had a broken cooler. They quickly moved us to another room with a working cooler. Also, after leaving we discovered we'd left a phone charging block and cord behind. No questions asked, they found the charger and cord and mailed them to our home.
We enjoyed our stay at Best Western. The room was decorated quite nicely and the Jacuzzi tub was great! The breakfast in the morning was very good, alot to choose from. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. I think that the pool should stay open until 10:00.
Very nice hotel. All new with large rooms, good furniture and fabulous bed. (a little high for some folks) Staff was terrific and breakfast good for what is expected. On the negative, sports team was uncontrolled and noisy. Adult leaders emptied the ice-machine with large coolers. Avoid room next to pool on weekends.
We really enjoyed our time in S. California, thanks in part to the beautiful scenery, our good friends and partly b/c of our Best Western hotel. If you come to Hemet, it is right on Florida, the main road right through town. From its convenient location, you can easily get to LA, San Diego and points in between. Have a good safe trip. :-)
Great stay we loved the modern decor and clean room. We loved the fact that they have soap dispensers in the shower. Also a great location next to restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly and room was spacey to out standards. I will definitely stay at a best western like this again someday soon.
Visited this hotel with family. Very easy to find, located directly across from a .99 Only store, also Wendy's and Carls Jr. in same lot. Breakfast was ok-egg omelet with cheese was good, there was also potato's, sausage, biscuits & gravy, & the usual-pastries, cereal, fresh waffles. If you are planning on using the pool, check ahead to see if the hotel is hosting any baseball teams. There is a field used for tournaments close by, and if the team is lodging there the pool will be crowded most likely. Overall a nice hotel.
Had a wonderful stay. Staff very helpful. Only issue is that the bed was too high for handicapped. Made it harder to get into but it was sooooo comfortable once we got in it. Coffee in the room! Yeah! Frig and Micro. Breakfast! This was a very comfortable, CLEAN, quiet hotel. Made my visit perfect especially after enduring LA traffic coming back from the beach. Loved it!
The facility was very nice. The youth sports team was noisy and inconsiderate of other guests. Their chaperones did not/or were powerless to get them to be more respectful; from the noise in the late evening to taking up the entire lobby with their luggage it reflected poorly on the hotel and the team.
I was here for a week, solo, visiting in the area. First, the staff is GREAT. In the evening if the grandchildren were with me in the pool area, as long as we were quiet, rules were bent. The breakfast room is too small for the population, but the breakfast is very adequate. The bedroom part of the room is fine. Microwave, fridge, almost enough storage space ( I prefer drawers though) the bathroom is teeny tiny and the toilet was wonky and finally would not flush ( something to do with low flow...) the sink is right inside the door as is he bath. Very crazy with bathroom doors and closet doors when trying to get ready in the morning. If there were four tenants it would be a real pain. for one it is ok. but for the money? It's fine. The down side i that because it is affordable, the customers are baseball teams and younger skateboard folk who have no manners, especially at 2 am in the hall. One set got asked to vacate but then hung about in the parking lot. It is not the hotels fault. But some people have no idea how to behave. The hotel is fine. Some customers? meh. But the staff does work hard and is very personable.
The good is the King Suite we picked was an awesome room. It wasn't any more money or very little so ask for it over the queens if you have kids. It was very clean and super spacious. It contains a sofa sleeper, desk and chair. It is also updated and has a good floor plan with sink outside of bathroom. The bad was they charge a deposit? I have never had a deposit charged and it made me nervous. I feared inadvertently getting in a bad area. The other bad is the minuscule coffee maker with pucks. Just yuck. Last bad is the dark curtains don't go all the way across the Windows. The tracks stop half way so I was up most of the night with a bright light shining in. Leaving on a good note management called and checked in to see if we needed anything. Nice touch.
Stayed at the Best Western Plus Diamond Valley Inn for 10 days and was very pleased with our visit. Everyone was nice and extremely helpful. Liz was really nice and even the cleaning staff. The people who prepared and served the breakfast were very good. Place was clean and beds comfortable. Especially enjoyed and took advantage of the free coffee and flavored waters 24 hours a day! Will be staying there again on our next visit to the area!
We liked the new style of this hotel and everything is in good shape. The location is very convenient, close to big box stores (Walmart, Target) and lots of restaurants few blocks away. Only problem encountered were small ants running inside the room on the desk and counter. Probably killed 30 of them.
Good location and good value. Had been remodeled. Bed and linens were good quality. Easy to park. Very friendly staff. Clean. Nice shower but with no shelf for our shampoo and soap. It has dispensers for those products. Creaky floors that can be annoying but not a big issue. Adequate breakfast for one included. This was a very good choice for us in that location and better than most hotels in that price range where we have stayed.
We came to this area to go to a local casino. We chose Best Western because of its location and amenities. We enjoyed a lovely hot breakfast this morning. They have very friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms. We would stay here again.
There registration employee was a very friendly and welcoming woman when I checked in on July 1, 2016. I was happy with the accommodations. The bed in the room was comfortable and the pillows were nice too. We also enjoyed a full breakfast for free. We will return soon.
Excellent service provided by friendly staff at the front desk, breakfast and housekeeping. The location was quite convenient to shopping, restaurants and laundrymat. I felt very safe travelling alone.
Great staff, lovely Full breakfast.Great. Amenities like free beverage bar, cookies. Comfy clean room and bed! Fridge, micro, coffee maker. Nice pool and hot tub too! Direct TV on flat screen.Nichole,Vickie,Karla,Andrea were all So accomplished at making our every need and interaction fabulous!! Completely new renovation also.
Very nice hotel, good sleep, and rooms were very clean. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. This hotel is located across the street from a shopping center. Really enjoyed the stay here.
Everything is new and clean. The location is perfect and very friendly staff. The workout facility is well equipped and pool is ok. Decent breakfast with fruit and cereal. Internet speed is only negative.
Safe, Google location, recently updated. Good continental breakfast daily. Average room size. Small bathroom. Front very nice even kept pool open longer because of hot weather. Not much to do in hemet but visit Temecula or the Ontario mall.
The hotel was just renovated. It used to be a Super 8. The beds were nice a little firm, the new decor is modern. The room still needed some work as our door would not secure properly. There was a bad patch job of a hole in the wall. Overall not a bad place. The pool was nice. Not heated.
Great hotel to stay at! Very clean in the nice quiet rooms! My wife and I stay here when we are in town every time and it is always great! Great staff and great continental breakfast for the room price! Definitely recommend! Best hotel in Hemet!
Always stay here when my husband and I are in town! It is very clean and the continental breakfast is the best we've been to for a hotel of this price! It is also very safe feeling and the rooms are always comfortable! Definitely recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was very pleased with my stay. The cleanliness and condition of the hotel was excellent and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location was great with a lot of restaurants in close proximity.
Wonderful customer service, clean rooms, upgraded. Good area for restaurants. They called minutes after we got to our room to make sure everything was up to or standards, a/c wasn't working they came within minutes to check it. (not plugged in) :) Our dog barked and they were nice enough to call us to let us know. We will be back.
Rooms are very awkward in terms of size, location, and amenities. I stayed in a suite and the bathroom is very small with the toilet actually touching the shower door. Rooms do not have the feel of a BW Plus hotel.
The rooms are very well kept, cleaned and remodeled there is a ice machine and vending machine. Flat screen television. friendly staff.enjoyable stay. There Is a pool and hot tub and a gym right near the rooms. Every thing is very convenient!! We will return most definitely
We loved staying at this hotel! Close to everything you need. Beautiful rooms, very clean. Feels very safe. Basically brand new. Small gym that is clean and a nice outdoor pool. We love it and will stay again!
I have stayed in motels around the world and have never in countered what I did here last week. I stayed 2 nights. The 1st was good, new place so pretty clean and had a good gym which I value for a small town. Then the 2nd night I got a call from the receptionist at 2.30am saying a man was downstairs asking for a key to my room.. Ummm excuse me. Somehow this random guy who apparently had meet me at shooters grill new my name and room number (NO idea how never been to shooters here and wouldn't tell randoms my name and number).. I said ugh no I don't no this man. Reluctantly went back to sleep then 4am I get another call from receptionist saying the Man was trying to call my room direct and would not stop calling her. Needless to say I didn't sleep well after this at all scared someone was going to knock on my door or the receptionist would give him a key. Not saying it was all her fault as he did request my name and room number but they have a serious problem... either somebody is hacking their room bookings to find names OR somebody at the hotel is telling people the name of young woman and what rooms they are staying in . Will never stay again did not feel safe
This is a Clean and new place. Very nice stay! We enjoyed our visit here. I love Best Western it's the best in the west. Always clean and they remodel their places nicely. Best value hotel. The pool was clean and jacuzzi was awesome.
Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to others. The rooms, staff and amenities were great. The only downside was the noisy neighbor we had. You can here everything through the double doors leading into the next room. Those doors need better insulation.
Hotel and room are clean and attractive. The beds are comfortable and the staff is nice. The hotel and room looks and are newly renovated. The breakfast is pretty small but fine for a budget hotel and pretty diverse. The staff tries to please.
It is comforting to arrive to a well-lit, clean hotel with easy and ample parking after a long drive. The check-in was simple, fast and pleasant. The room upon entering was clean and tidy. Fresh clean sheets and towels, and clean, dry carpet.
Nice clean facility. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Located in a good area of town. Safe and quiet. Located near fast food restaurants and Target. Has a good sized pool. Kid and pet friendly.
Awesome stay! Friendly staff, clean rooms and great breakfast! Free bottles of water in a very dry place to stay! Easy access to the location...Used to live in Hemet and they've done a wonderful remodel of the old property! Keep up the excellent hospitality!
Great Staff, Clean and Comfortable. Breakfast was good with full spread of eggs, meat, waffles. Near Shopping (Target)and an excellent grocery store (Stater Brothers), walk to Wendy's, Sizzler. Would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.
We stayed here for four nights. The hotel grounds and building were well kept, the room was clean, it is a good location. All the staff was friendly, and the service we received from Vicki at the front desk was amazing; friendly, courteous, professional. It was an enjoyable experience, we would definitely stay here again.
Me and my fiance stayed here for the weekend. We had an amazing stay, The front desk was very helpful, The breakfast area was kept very cleaning and the food was kept to the same standards, I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in the Hemet/San Jacinto Area.
We travel a great deal and stay in many different hotels in various locations. This Best Western is one of the cleanest I have stayed in for this price range. Very friendly staff. The free breakfast is actually real breakfast. Very large selection of hot and cold breakfast. The bedding In the rooms are very very very clean and to me that's very important.
Had a great stay here! Super clean and friendly staff! Would stay again in a heartbeat. It was a great area to stay In. Didn't feel like we were at risk of any danger. Wendy's right across the street was super convenient. Very decently priced and pretty people.
although we checked in a day early the front desk was wonderful We were fortunate to have an upgrade to the pet friendly King suite. This is a beautiful motel, one of the best Best Westerns we have stayed in. The location is perfect for restaurants and shopping.
The workers were very kind. The breakfast was great they have waffles, cereal, burritos, bagels, etc.. The room was very spacious. The gym had was nice and quiet, it also had T.V.. There is a pool that is not heated so its cold but the spa feels great.
I chose this hotel because My wife and I have been satisfied so far with most Best Western hotels booked before. This hotel is clean (no odor) with a nice TV, and clean bathrooms [I love the tiles]. Staff is very professional. On the negative side: walls are not sound proof. We could hear any little noise from next room and the alley. We were able to sleep after late hours when everyone else was likely asleep. Breakfast had limited pastry and fruits (frozen fruits offered were bad for my teeth).
We've stayed here several times with my daughter's softball team. The hotel is completely renovated and very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good value! I will definitely stay here again. There is a Target across the street and a lot of family restaurants to choose from. Only thing I would recommend is hot food at breakfast. Currently it's just cold cereal, which is disappointing.
The hotel in general is nice, and refurbished. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast isn't great, consisting mainly of cereal and waffles. They're hoping to update to a full bar soon. This hotel is right next to a few fast food restaurants so you could always grab breakfast on the go. I plan to return for future tournaments, and would recommend .
I stayed here for a softball tournament and they had great rooms, great breakfast, and great service. The breakfast had a great variety for me and my team. The night was quiet and comfortable and the television worked very well. I will definitely be back!
very comyf rooms nice pool and hot tub, great coffee, in the middle of la and san diego, about a hour and half to either one. newly remodled rooms. was surprised the room also had a mini fridge. great rated\\s,, staff is very friendly
This is a nice motel with all the basic needs. Bed is very comfortable. There is a nice pool outside but I didn't get to use it;-) The room was quiet and I slept very well. If I am ever needing to go back to Hemet, I would certainly use this hotel again.
My husband and I spent 4 days here while working in the area. The rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was strictly continental...nothing hot and no protein. Not even a hard boiled egg. The room was tiny. The bathroom had almost no counter space. Might be ok for 1 person travelling light, but we are on the road for awhile so we each have a large suitcase, garment bag (the closet was not wide enough to hold a standard garment bag, so we couldn't shut the closet door, causing problems getting in and out of the bathroom), and an overnight bag. Every morning at 7:30, maintenance was outside wit a very noisy leaf blower right next to guest windows. We were on the 3rd floor and couldn't have slept through it. Thank heavens we are early risers. I really felt for anyone wanting to sleep in. The 1st day we were there, we headed out early and got back around 2:00. We had hung a "Clean the Room" sign, but there had been no maid service. I called down to the front desk, but was told the maid would be working her way to the 3rd floor shortly, so we had to leave again so she could clean. ( I think she just forgot). The 2nd day, we hung the sign, left and returned at 6:00. No maid service. I had to call the front desk again. The finally got it right the 3rd day. We thought the price was way too high for what we got.
I Had a very good stay at this motel It was a easy to book , nice web site clean and very helpful staff Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable I am light sleeper It was very quiet
Clean facility, immaculate. All the staff ,dietary, housekeeping ,desk staff, and security ,nice ,friendly ,kind ,and caring. Vickie went above and beyond. Very accommodating. Smiles go a long way. We are from Georgia and very used to southern hospitality.
This place is like a second home to me. I know the ladies that work there and they are amazing to say the least!! Andrea, Nicki, Vicki, Sam, Liz, Heather, and Gabby are so accommodating. They make sure you are comfortable and any problem you have they will address it instantly and fix it to your liking!! They are always greeting you with a smile and warmth. I absolutely love them and words do not do them the justice they deserve! They are those chosen few that you feel like you have to keep in touch with when you leave. I love them all and will always come back!! :-) Muah! Exemplary customer service and tons are super clean and nice and my kids LOVE the breakfast and my hubby and I love the coffee!! :-) we love the seating in the breakfast area, really nice and neat, even housekeeping is nice!! I love this place!!
We were shunted to this hotel after we lost our reservation at another hotel in Hemet. This best Western did not even live up to a basic BW, much less a Plus. It is a retro-fitted Motel 8 and it definitely has that feel. The breakfast was not up to a BW standard. The room was OK,but the sink area was cramped and barely had room for one person's toiletries. The check-in person clearly lacked training and did not present a professional appearance. The room also had a residual smell of cigarette smoke. After being shunted there, we thought we would spend the rest of our trip there. After one night, we said "no way" and called our original hotel and explained to the manager what had transpired the night before. She was clearly upset by the way we were treated, said that problem would be addressed and offered us a free upgrade. We accepted and our experience there was excellent.
Newly renovated motel is very clean, well appointed with very friendly and helpful staff. Continental breakfast offers variety in modern setting. Facility is close to shops yet quiet with no street noise.
Vicki and Andrea were so professional, helpful and friendly made us feel so welcomed. The rooms were beautiful and clean. Would highly recommend staying here anytime for business or just a getaway. We loved this place will definitely come back again
I love staying here! It's in the middle of all the good shopping centers, the staff is super friendly, and the hotel is decorated very nice. The girls at the front desk are always willing to help. The woman working the breakfast area is so sweet and always has a big smile, which is great first thing in the morning. I'll definitely be back!
Travel for work and this is the hotel I stay at when I have a project in this area. 3-4weejs stay. Service is great and outstanding. Too. Was always clean and we'll maintained. Whenever there was a problem or any requests, front desk always were excellent at getting it done.... Very friendly and a letter to confersate with the front desk employees. As well as maid service...... I recommend the Best western if your in this area. It's outstanding and comfortable....
Freshly remodeled. Every fixture brand new. Good location. Walk to shopping and fast food. Staff is really cool! Decent price! Total 10 on visit. Highly recommended. Breakfast is a plus. Well attended to. Coffee is good too and from what I've seen it's available all the time in the front lobby!
Just returned from a 10 day stay at this motel. All of the staff were very friendly and very helpful. My room was very clean....freshly painted...comfortable new beds have been installed...no issues what so ever. Olivia (in the breakfast room) went out of her way to make my solo trip enjoyable. Would recommend this motel to anyone.
I have been staying at this Hotel since the 3rd of February....I am house hunting so my stay is an extended stay....the staff very kind and a few of the ladies go out of there way to provide excellent service....I wouldn't stay n.e.where else
A newly remodeled motel with a very friendly staff at the front desk. Rooms are nice, motel is clean and up to date. Breakfast does not have any protein but is hot. The oatmeal was very good. It is easy to find with parking very close to the motel. Security is excellent with parking lot well lite and patrolled by security people.
I am currently staying for 10 days here at the hotel and I can definitely say 4 days into my stay I have had anything I have asked for delivered or handed to me right away...Its dog friendly for my lil Yorkie... The staff is so friendly .... and I find the pool relaxing.... clean ... and my 4 kids love the place... the staff is spoiling them... I would recommend to anyone... !! We love Liz she is amazing with the kids... night shift !! Signing off Room 127.. The Lee family.. !!
This place is great from the front desk staff to the owner. when ever I'm playing Senior softball tournaments in Hemet or Menifee. This is my special place of lodging. the staff treats me like a king whenever I'm in town. I never have any problems. thanks Alan:-)
was great. Had an issue with this facility changing from a super 8 to a BW but it was eventually corrected. This is a very good facility for our standard. Wish breakfast would have had boiled eggs but still VG
We stayed here as a group for our travel softball team this past weekend. The floor was filthy with crumbs of something and sticky stuff on the floor. The bathroom had no shower curtain, we called the front desk and they did not come up so I had to go and get one myself and install in in the shower. The night we got there I was heading out to the lobby to speak to the front desk about getting a curtain and as I opened up our room door someone was about to walk in our room. The room was given to someone else with the same key and room number as ours. When we checked out I spoke to the front desk about our issues and I was told the manager would contact me. It has been a couple days now and I have not heard fromthe manager of the hotel. Will never stay there again..
The place is ok the rooms are nice there working on the hotel so yeah hmmm the thing that bugged me was I got an Awesome price on line but I needed an extra day and omg $130 a night is outrageous for Hemet though that was a bit insane wont go back for that price way to high for where it is .also the breakfast sucked they had nothing but crappy raisin bran and special k .. no bagels no english muffins no juice went acrossed the street to carls jr instead . Im telling you your not gonna have a lot stay there for 130 a night when there are 20 motels on the same street close and omg its hemet not some great place like Newport Beach.
