Aiden by Best Western Cheongdam

Very good location in Gangnam neighborhood. Good walking and transit access to coffee shops, restaurants and transit stops. Rooms were a good value and about average size for Asia. They were clean and had firm beds. Robe and slippers are provided. Staff were helpful. Interestingly the room had an emergency escape kit for rappelling down the building that seems as risky as trying to escape a fire.

The hotel is conveniently located in Gangnam, about 10 mins walk to subway station. The room was spacious with comfortable bed and pillows. Nice bathroom, separated shower zone and wash basin. You can also control lights and A/C from the screen just next to the bed. The only downside of this hotel is that, it seemed like the staff did not care much about loyalty program. Even name of the hotel is "Aiden by Best Western" but when I asked for basic benefit of member like late check out (only 1 hour late), one of the reception staff said that there will be extra charge per hour. I did mentioned that I am a loyal member of BWR (Diamond select) which bestwestern website show that I can get late check out (subject to room availability) but one staff said "it doesn't matter". I think there's always a nicer way to say no to your customer. Other than that, very nice hotel though.

This is the fanciest Best Western I've ever stayed at. One will think this is a Ritz Carlton with it's very classy and modern interiors. Even the exterior of the building is a piece of art. The hotel staffs were very pleasant and ready to help and answer questions. The rooms have everything you will need for a pleasurable stay. The location is also very accessible with the Airport Bus just across the street. The neighborhood is safe and nice to walk around with ample amount of restaurants, cafes & convenience stores. Aiden offers you luxurious accommodation without breaking the bank. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Seoul. Thank You Aiden for making my trip to Seoul a memorable one.

Flew in from Texas for a week long trip to see all the sights. Check in was super quick and they speak English/very kind. No deposit required. Moment I get into the room was impressed. Room was equipped with harness to rappel down out of the window in the event of a fire. Felt like Batman. Pretty cool. Bed is comfy and the hotel wifi is free, fast and reliable. There is a button if you want your room cleaned or not. You get two complementary water bottles each day. Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 10am and cost $14. Buffet style and everything was tasty and filling. Breakfast spot is lounge area with art pieces. Pretty neat display. There are two bus stations right in front of the hotel. Access to the limousine bus 6703 to the airport for $13. There is a couple of convenient stores a few blocks down along with KFC, Subway and McDonald if you're craving that. Ate that the first day then ventured out to try the local Korean food. Only two English channels. BBC News and Australian News. Universal/usb outlets. Great for laptop/airpods/gopro charging. All in all great experience/hotel! Good price and comfy stay. Would definitely recommend!

Very practical and clean hotel with an excellent breakfast and a beautiful rooftop terrace bar. Rooms are not huge but they have everything you need. Perhaps the only downside is the staff at the reception who do not tell you everything unless you ask specifically. A cultural issue perhaps?

Awful experience. Arrived earlier at around 10-11 am. The Director of Rooms treated us terribly, he was unprofessional and rude. Could not have a decent normal conversation with him, since he would just answer in one or two words. Were not recognized our diamond select status. Everything just went wrong so we just canceled our reservation and moved to Four Points by Sheraton across the street. Director of rooms didn't say a word. Just book somewhere else. There are plenty of options nearby.

I detail more minuses than plusses below, but overall the hotel is an OK choice if you wish to be in this part of Seoul. The Traveler room pics on this site accurately reflected the room. Plusses: + Clean, + Modern + Felt safe + Restaurants within walking distance Minuses: - If you are in Seoul for several days and plan to use the metro a fair amount, I'd recommend a hotel closer to the metro. The front desk encourages you to take a cab to the two nearest metro stations. You can walk to either in 10 to 15 minutes. And if you are comfortable navigating buses, several buses run near the hotel to the metro. That's not really that bad, but you can probably find an equally good or better hotel much closer to a station. - During my stay (March 2023), Wifi was available but the signal was weak - The hotel is on a major street and one can hear some traffic noise in the room - Every time you enter the room, the large TV turns on and display hotel propaganda; a minor issue but turning it off each time gets tiresome. - The hotel front desk staff was relatively unhelpful (compared to other hotels of the same class in Korea) when it came to things like finding a place for dinner and transport. - The dark gray color scheme is a bit grim.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. The staff are very helpful and very attentive to your needs and they also speak good english. The room I had was standard but comes with a nice city view. The cleaners are spot on as well. The skybar also had a nice view of the city. The breakfast was good with a korean twist. Would absolutely stay here again.

I stayed here 3weeks occupying 2rooms. As everyone can relate to my nervous feeling because I intended to stay many nights for staying at this hotel for first time. Turned out I worried for nothing. Hotel staff is so friendly and location is so great. Especially cleaning standard is immaculate. I am so returning to this great hotel. Thank you and see you soon

I do recommend Aiden by BW at Cheongdam because they will worth the money. The staff was well trained they can also speak English very well. Breakfast has a wide range of choices. Mostly as long as possible they will provide your request.

Stayed for the Christmas night. The place is very new and clean. Amenities and technology is well equipped. Friendly staff. Had to leave at 6 AM so didn't get to enjoy the bar scene but there is a rooftop lounge apparently. Local busses run very closely and connections to rest of the city is pretty good. The room came w a refrigerator. We even ordered food to the room since you can pretty much order anything and this is Korea.

This hotel is located at South Seoul - that is Gangnam District. Around 51 km from thye Incheaon Airport - taxi took around 55,000 Won and 45 minutes. The hotel room is small but adequate for a single traveler. The breakfast spread is good and tasty. The Hotel however, does not serve food for dinner. It also does not have room service facilities. So guests should complete their dinner outside the hotel. The hotel have many restaurants nearby - so dinner was not a problem at all. Staff behavior was good and were responsive to my needs. The hotel cleanliness was excellent with all modern fixtures and furniture. The wash room amenities were also up to the mark and were replenished every day. I stayed for 5 nights in this hotel. I had visited Seoul on an office Conference. I recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.

This is a great hotel, just celebrating 1 year open! It's quite, efficient and very clean. They even provide slippers, toiletries and just a great staff. We found it to be affordable as well. Visit the Paris Baguette a short walk for daily breakfast! Loved the fancy bathroom in this hotel, we stayed on the 9th floor.

This is the closest hotel from where we will have our business meeting. It's certainly a business hotel, but it has everything you need. Very reasonable price with all amenities. Love their shower set with color LED rain shower faucet. Haven't tried their breakfast though

Stayed three nights for a business trip. The rooms are stylish although a little small compared to some. You can hear some traffic noise at times. The hotel is modern and breakfast is great with great views over Seoul. The staff are friendly and there's a great craft beer bar downstairs.

Had a great time staying here! Room was a bit small though. But we managed. Great breakfast. The staff is very accomodating. Love the modern style of the interiors. Location is excellent! Near shopping malls. 15 mins away to Coex mall. 20 mins away to Myeongdong. Walking distance from Starbucks, drugstore, KFC, Shake Shack..etc
