Hotel is great and staff were very friendly and helpful. Only disadvantage: it takes 40-65 min bus ride to get to the tourist locations on the other north side of the river, but there are a couple of bus stops within a 10-15 min walk from the hotel and bus is very frequent. There is an uphill walk when you go back to the hotel
Very good of service. Staffs are very kind. Comfortable room, spacious and nice view. Good location.
I stayed in a room with a single bed for two nights and walked 15-18 miles around Seoul on the full day, using the subway. Nearest subway station, Sinnonhyeon, is a couple blocks from the hotel (significant uphill hike going to the hotel). The room was a perfect size - not too big or too small. Very comfortable bed and shower. Fridge and hot water water kettle but no microwave. One tiny packet of coffee, two green tea bags. Lots of free disposables like shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hard soap, comb, toothpaste, toothbrush, razor. Good internet. Electrical connections included 2 USB outlets. Very comfortable and clean room. A bit expense at $102/night but it is in pricy Gangnam area. Central lighting controller worked well (a problem I had at the Incheon hotel the previous night.)
It was Clean, convenient and good breakfast! I always stay in this hotel whenever I come for business trip. They are also convenient, 5-10 minutes walk to subway and airport limousine. Close to shopping area too..
This is an aged hotel, quite well-located, after all it's in Gangnam. I wouldn't say it's conveniently located, as nowhere is Seoul is convenient, due to such appalling traffic. OK, but back to the hotel being aged, I don't think it's a problem at all. It's super clean with good service. And the cleverest trick was adding that super handy set of universal electric outlets on the desk, including USB ports. It actually makes up for any age-related deficiencies in hotels. Bravo!
Nice, clean and reasonably sized rooms, pretty easy check in and out, nice and quiet too, with easy walk to two subway stations. The staff were helpful, and it was overall a good experience. Would recommend this hotel.
The room cleanness remains very nice even this hotel had opened 10 years more ago. Especially I would be rating high level for their cleanness of bathroom. Whole bathroom of white tone keeps tidy, compare with the other similar/higher grade hotel. I really like a classical mood of this room. Gangnam! Nice location at Seoul's hot place, convenient transportation. No more need for improvement for service. As always, This hotel is perfect as keep brand standards of Best Western. All staffs at the hotel was nice and professional. Speedy check-in/out process, reflect preference for room, offer elite benefits. Also, As an Elite member benefits, I received a complimentary room upgrade to Netflix room included free mini bar, and late check out.
I would always stay in this hotel whenever I visit Korea. I like the location of Gangnam itself in which it has good access to almost everything that I need during my trips. With very friendly and accomodating people at the front desk. Having a parking is also a plus point for this hotel.
Nice hotel in a busy part of Gangnam, just off the main strip many restaurants and shops to visit, room is comfortable although a little dated, personally I prefer showers walk in but that's a minor issue for the bath lovers among us, Wifi wasn't the best so my streaming tv service didn't perform as well as it had with other hotels, overall pleasant hotel.
Perfect stay ! The room was excellent, staff very friendly and the breakfast was also fine. Will definitely come back. Bed comfort was very good and the very quiet room as well. Can only recommend this hotel to others.
perfect make-up room, high speed wifi, valet service. The ground level parking lot always had spots so I did not need to use valet all times. The room was clean and neat. Amenities were always prepared so no need to bring or buy tooth brush, shampoo, body wash, and etc. Overall, excellent experience.
If you do not get up early you don't get full breakfast, and they start cleaning and collecting things too soon. Coffee is bad as elsewhere in Seoul, so get used to it. Sleeping is good if you have the window closed.
The pictures definitely looked better than the actual room given. The place had an older property feel than the pictures that make it look fresh. The staff was friendly and kind. This place isn't bad, but I didn't feel like I got my money's worth is all. The place just felt older and the interior design is also dated.
Great hotel. Great staff. Rooms were large, clean and the bed and pillows were excellent. Room temperature control was excellent. Price was reasonable. Excellent location with good restaurants and bars very close and within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel.
It was 18 degrees outside, but the room was 26. The air conditioning wouldn't work. Reception told us that it didn't work in any room as it was a comfortable temperature, we should open our window. We did that, but we looked out over a 6 lane road and it was too noisy to sleep with the window open. The location is poor, quite a long walk from Gangnam( other stations are nearer) and over half hour from the city by subway, involving changing lines. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The food tasted lovely but was very expensive.
I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights recently. The hotel was very acceptable, within a short walk in between two metro stops. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and lots to do overall considering you're in Gangnam. The hotel has a small workout room with a few cardio machines and free weights. The floors have water cooler stations which were always refreshing after a day out. The housekeeping service was great and very thorough. They even helped take out a couple stain on the mattress which my one year old caused while eating and they didn't raise a fuss about it! I didn't interact with the staff too much, but when I did they understood me and were very helpful. For the money, this hotel is great and in a great location. The rooms are just the perfect size, even with a crib in the room. Also, they provide cribs and already had it in my room waiting! They provide extensive TV channels which of course isn't the main attraction, but when fighting jet lag at 3am it's nice to have. I was very pleased with my stay and you won't regret yours either.
This hotel is centrally located in Gangnam. It's an easy walk to the substation, cafes and restaurants. The hotel staff are friendly. The rooms have adequate space and are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is really good with a range of food and economical.
This property is good for it's price as the location is convenient to get to/fro Incheon airport. Room condition is comfy for short stays. Check-in/out was smooth without hassle. Breakfast could be better though.
The hotel is situated in Gangnam, one of the most vibrant places in Seoul. Is is next to underground stations as well as to lot of small and typical restaurants . It is very comfortable, easy to reach via limousine bus from Airport . Staff of first class and food excellent for breakfast . A very reccomanded hotel to stay in Seoul
If you are on a budget on less than 110 euros a night including breakfast this is your hotel. Nothing extraordinary but staff is neat and breakfast is more than what I expected Room tidy and clean WiFi works well There is also a small gym
This is our third time to stay here. The staff are welcoming and helpful. We had a nice view of the Seoul Tower. When we booked the stay the KAL stop was at the hotel but it has been changed prior to across the street. It was a challenged getting across with our luggage, but we had overcome the challenge. The hotel being on between two Subway station made it easily accessible. In the morning we use the Sinnonhyeon station and at night use the Eunjo station. Overall, we will stay here again.
I have stayed there for 6 nights. Location is really good, it was nice to see Gangnam, good connection to other parts of Seoul, subway station nearby, taxi always available (reasonable price). Best Western Premier Gangnam is located on a hill, and below that hill you can find a lot of small street with many Korean pubs, caffe's, restaurants, hear salons, and all of that work almost all night. I was 3 times in Korea and this was probably the bast stay. Oh yes, the breakfast was amazing, I don't know about you, but that is really important for me.
We stayed here over the Lunar New Year's holidays and liked it. We had a room with a nice city view. The staff were helpful and such, and the hotel is located close to an area with plenty of bars and restaurants.
I traveled for business and needed to stay in the Gangnam area. So my choice of hotel was price + recommendations of other guests + airport shuttle. Reviews of this hotel were good and price was reasonable. In fact, it stand the recommendation. Nice hotel, very quite and clean, helpful staff. Bed was comfortable - as I suffer from the back pain for me this is one of the most important criteria to rank the hotel. Breakfast was also good - nice variety of food for all tastes. Airport shuttle stop is just in front of the hotel (bus number 6703 from 19 platform) Tip - when you buy a ticket for the shuttle at the airport you need to indicate the stop of Novotel or the next one. Best Western is located just in front of them, but need to go to a traffic light to cross the street ( around 100- 150 meters from the bus stop to the traffic light, then cross the street and go back in 100 meters on the opposite side of the street) I would stay at this hotel again.
This hotel is very clean and offers a very comfortable bed. Location is quite convenient in Gangnam. Traffic in front of hotel can be very bad, but there is a subway station near by. Staffs are very helpful. Limousine stop to Incheon Airport is right in front of it. When departing to Inchen, a staff from the front desk contacted the Limousine service to let them know someone is waiting for the bus. For non-smoking, ask when you book.
My and my wife stayed there for one night. Location is nice to just walk to Gangnam subway station in 10 mins and there is the subway station nearby - Shin-nonhyeon in 5 mins. Room looks like a little bit old but it was clean. We don't have any issues. I would stay here again if I need to find a hotel near Gangnam.
I stayed here for seven days while attending a conference in Seoul and has no regrets staying. The hotel has a good location just about 3 kms from COEx international conference center. The rooms are spacious and always kept clean by hard working and friendly house keepers. There is a good restaurant with wide range of food, beverages, etc. The breakfast was always good. The check in and check out procedures were prompt and excellent. The front desk staff and indeed all the staff I met were courteous and friendly. I appreciate the people of Seoul, and best western premier Gangnam show case Korean hospitality.
We booked this hotel for one week. The reception staff was courteous and helped us with quick check in and check out. When we asked for a non smoking , silent room they provided us that happily. We got a room at 9 th floor and the view from the room was refreshing. We could see Seoul tower from our huge window while we enjoyed a cup of hot coffee. The room was small yet cozy & comfortable for two of us. The bed was very soft and we had a very comfortable sleep. The bathroom had a clean bathtub and a modern bidet. The house keeping lady was punctual and efficient at her work. She cleaned and changed the linens daily. The breakfast buffet offered by this hotel was awesome. Continental, Oriental , Italian, Japanese , there were so many food items to choose from. I really relished the breakfast. They do not arrange for any city tours from their sides but they had different tour brochures from various tour agencies displayed in their lobbies , from where one can book a cab for sight seeing. They also provide one way limousine bus service to airport at a cost around 20 USD for one person. I will highly recommend this hotel. Thank you B W premiere Gangnam for making our stay a memorable one
The hotel is in a good location, 3 different subway lines near by. Between two subway stations. The price for the hotel is good and reasonable. Over all the hotel is neat and clean. The only thing I was not impressive is the air condition. It was a bit warm in the room and the Gym. Easy to get from ICN airport to here. it is like door to door.
My ratings are normally based on location, cleanliness, hospitality and money's worth. The rooms aren't too spic and span, but the location is very nice, limousine bus from Incheon stops right at the hotel and the subway to Gimpo is also very close. The reception staff were very nice, with genuine hospitality in their smiles. Bathtubs are nice and spacious enough to get a good soak. Would recommend for a nice comfy stay in a great location close to restaurants and shopping while in a safe and quiet area with good access to public transport.
Hotel was really close to metro stations. Nice exterior and interior, hotel looks rater luxury. Room vas very clean and cozy. View was very nice, we could see Namsan tower and Seoul panorama. Fitness center was small but there was everything we need.
This hotel has unbeatable location if you are looking at staying in Gangnam side of Seoul. The airport limo bus is 16000 won and takes 70min from gate 4A exit straight to the front of the hotel. The bus is about every 30 min. Additionally there's a street about 500m away with 24 hour restaurants and convenience stores and a 24 hour cafe chain in Seoul called "A twosome place" is also down the road at about a 5 min walk. The staff are friendly helpful and have good English...the housekeeping was done by a kindly Auntie who was really sweet and even does a tidy. Hotel rooms are on the smaller side and in the older style, but very clean. Beds are comfy and street is quiet with great black out curtains for much needed zzzs. There is also a metro stop (green line) within walking distance...the best line for anyone going to concerts or events at Olymoc stadium. Trendy sinsa and cheongdom shopping streets also a short 10min cab ride.
Excelent hotel with excelent staff and a killing location just next to Gangnam avenue and in between of two subway stations. There is no way anybody can go wrong with this hotel. Rooms are very confortable and as said, location is just great, many restaurants, cafes an bars to go after work. Nightlife is perfect to have a great dinner, local or international after work or just after a long siteseeing day, since Seoul is such a beatiful city, for work or as a tourist, it is a great place to go. Can't wait to go back and of course stay at the same place.
The hotel is within the Gangnam Neighbourhood & it is hilly so being fit certainly helps. The rates are great value, the rooms small (by USA/European standards) but clean as was the bathroom also. The beds were comfortable. The local area has plenty of restaurants/bars & shopping of course. Close to 2 major subway stations so easier to get away around the city. The staff were always helpful & professional. The airport bus stop outside certainly helps too. I recommend this hotel.
I visited Seoul for only 2 days for my Korean friend's wedding. Hotel is clean and tidy with big rooms and located near metro station. The staff are friendly and helpful especially on my last day of departure I almost missed my airport coach and finally I made it with help of hotel staff. Thanks a lot and very enjoyable experience at Best Western Gangnam Hotel in Seoul. Definitely will come back again for another stay!
The hotel is very clean and the staff is very competent and friendly. I arrived during the morning and I didn't have to wait until check-in time. The room is of reasonable size, the beds are comfortable. Since everything was uncomplicated and well functioning, I can recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a reasonable hotel in Gangnam, without spending too much. One thing can be improved though and that is the shower door. Water leaks out on the bathroom floor and in a 4**** hotel these things can be expected to be fixed. There is a bus stop to/from Incheon Airport right in front of the hotel. The airport bus can be recommended as well (KAL bus 6703). The COEX can be reached very fast by taxi (5500 WON = 5€).
I stayed at this hotel for three nights, after leaving another hotel just down the road. The room was comfortably appointed and clean, although the bed was a little firm for my liking. The bar was a nice space to grab a drink although it was very quiet when I was there. The onsite restaurant looked nice but was not open for dinner during my stay. However, there are hundreds of not thousands of dining options in the laneways behind the hotel and in those across the road (the actual road on which the hotel is located has limited options). The location is good, in walking distance to two subways stations and the Gangnam shopping and nightlife district. The only real issue for me was the lack of in-room cooling and the fixed central heating (this is common in Seoul hotels) which meant the overnight room temperature sat at 25 degrees Celsius. Reception did provide a fan and we were able to open the window, although this did introduce some noise problems. It is a good value option in an interesting area, but you may want to ask for a room facing away from the road as you will probably need to have your window open even if it is winter. Staff were all very helpful and attentive.
I stayed here with my 2 children in 3/2017. The hotel is modern and well located in the central-western area of Gangnam. Although it isn't next to a subway stop, you can walk 2-4 blocks to several different stations. If you want to stay in the Gangnam district (which is the more modern section of Seoul), then this is a good location. If you want to spend more time in the historic core, then stay north of the river. PROS: 1) Location 2) relatively inexpensive: tremendous value for the price (although this is not high season) 3) rooms are clean, modern, and decent size for Korea (rooms are small by American standards but the room is efficiently laid out) 4) staff are very professional CONS: 1) a smaller hotel so if you want more amenities, then this might not be the place. There is 1 restaurant on site. There is also a Paris Baguette cafe 1 block away where you can buy bread and pastries (this Korean chain is very good).
In a quite good location, Best Western Premier Gangnam Hotel satisfied all my needs. Very clean, extremely friendly and ready to help staff, perfect rooms. Only the desire to experience new places would make me book another hotel next time. Otherwise, I strongly recommend BW Gangnam.
We stayed 4 nights and had a great time. For us who were not too confident travelers this hotel was in a very good location as the airport bus stopped in front. Restaurants were also an easy walk away. The hotel staff were easy to communicate with. Room price was OK but hotel meals were a little too expensive compared to what was available in the imediate neighhood.
I went up to Seoul for a friend's wedding and booked the Best Western Premier in Gangnam, last minute. I was extremely satisfied with my stay there. The room was incredibly clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. I felt very welcome at this hotel. The view from my room was amazing as well. It's nearby subway stations as well as a number of bus stops. I actually walked to this hotel from Seoul's NamBu Bus Terminal. It was a bit of a hike, but the weather was great and it was nice to explore the area.
Stayed for 4 days in November (11/15 to 11/19). Generally speaking, a nice hotel, good location, easy access to subway, front desk staff very helpful, clean room. However, there are a few issues: 1. When I left, I was in a hurry, I ask the front desk staff to e-mail me the bill, so far, I did not receive it. They have my email address, but no action. 2. As I left really early in the morning and in a hurry, I forgot to bring one piece of clothing, it should be in the room. Again, nobody contact me. No action. 3. I check the hotel website, I cannot find a email address for them. There is a form to fill, but I cannot enter my email.
Spent only one night in Seul at the Best Western Gangnam for business. So I wouldn't be fair by rating than less than ok since my experience there was ok with a quiet room, , good internet and an assorted breakfast.
Hotel was clean, inexpensive and in a decent location. Staff was friendly. I wasn't able to get the room cool, even opening the window on a 35F night. I had to remove the rainfall shower head to stand up in the shower and I'm only 6' tall. There was subway station a short walk away, but the 2 line is really about 15 minutes. Wifi was good and fast as necessary for a business traveler, and the concierge was quick to get a taxi and translate destination.
Can't really complain or positively comment on anything in particular. This is really a standard, no-frills business hotel in the Gang Nam district. Not bad, not great. Room was OK, bathroom reasonable, bed was OK. Breakfast was pretty good. Language is an issue with the room service staff who have a hard team understanding English, but after a few calls up-and-down, they got my order right. Mini bar was relatively empty, unfortunately.
Good, clean and convenient hotel. Good value for money, as international chains are always more expensive. Location is excellent very close to Gangnam avenue, with thousands places for dining within a short distance. It os served by KAL limousine to/from ICN with bust stop at the front of the hotel. Convenient for metro line 9 as well. Room, bigger than Asian standard, complimentary bottled water and good wifi connection are the pros. Bed is really hard, we could hardly sleep well, some personal items such as razors and tooth brush for sale and the cons. Staff is willing to help but they don't speak as fluent English as Occidentals would like but they try...
I booked this hotel through tripadvisor. I reservation this with breakfast included. This is more cheap rather than you buy breakfast separately. When I check in the hotel, staff was very kind but not enough English conversation. Very good food and you can walk to GangNam main St. by 10 minute. Very clean and modern business hotel near Unjoo station in Gangnam. The rooms were pretty spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a bit of privacy issues but nothing serious for business travelers. The bedding was super comfortable and the big floor to ceiling windows that opened partially was nice. Hoped for more outlets but nothing bothersome. Wifi worked great. Cons: The walls were so thin that I heard sneezing and voices from other rooms. Woke up to curtain rolling sounds from other rooms thinking that someone was in my room. The hotel does not provide any room service! They have a cafe in the premise but closed in between breakfast/lunch/dinner. The hotel driveway is in the back of the building which is VERY uncomfortable for pick up and drop offs. Had to get off on the street with cars honking from behind. There are a lot of restaurants and bars across the street from the hotel.
This hotel is best provided in room facilities with adequate power outlets, USB ports for any kinds of modern gadgets to plug-in. The room space so wide with comforts. The restaurant for breakfast is very nice with both korean and international breakfasts. The fitness center is well maintained with equipments and things to comforts during workout. One disadvantage is just only the complimentary ready to dronk inroom coffee is not OK without creamy or artificial sweeteners.
Hotel staff are very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable about local places& shops. I didn't have to walk around to find a place for dine out. The bus stop for a bust to Incheon Airport is just in front of the hotel.
Very nice room, clean, cozy. Very accomodating front desk. Highly recommended ?? 3min. Walk to a variety of korean restaurants. Not too much shops around the hotel. Access to the limousine bus is just outside ??
Staff are brilliant and more than happy to help in whatever way possible. The rooms were nice, clean and not too small. The location is superb, just around the corner from a hive of activity- loads of shops (particularly cosmetics) and a wide range of restaurants and cafes! Two subway stations and a few convenience stores are a few minutes away walking from the front of the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic- lots of choice. I highly recommend this hotel to all, whether you're coming for business or for a holiday!
Convenient hotel to stay in if visiting events at Coex as the metro station Sinnonhueon (line 9) is about 10 minutes down the road (turn right when you come out of the hotel). The hotel is also served by the KAL airport bus with the stop right outside the hotel. Staff were helpful although if you use the Business Centre, you will need to pay for printing. You can also take the Airport Express train to either of the two international airports in Seoul.
Stayed for 3 nights on a biz trip. Conveniently located with service by the KAL limousine bus from the airport. Room was clean but compact. Breakfast was ok for this class of hotel. Only minor point .. even 30 minutes before closing their breakfast service several items in the (limited ) buffet were empty and were not being replaced .. even after asking ..so i felt cheated .. i felt like asking also part of my money back .. so get to breakfast at or before 9 am. Frontdesk staff was helpfull in arranging transportation for me. Some staff level of english was indeed quite poor..but ok for me. Overall would recommend because of price and location ..
hi folks on the 23 june 2016 I arrived in korea staying at the b/west hotel located in the district of Gangnam. Gangnam is the business centre of soul full of life especially at night I stayed 13 nights at b/w I had bed+breakfast which was great room was a good size twin comfortable beds daily room service oh I was here on hols not business with my wife +daughter aged 17 I mention my daughters age because Seoul is very much a young persons city anyway back to the hotel from the airport (Inchon) a bus service takes u direct to hotel in the basement there is a gym which I used but no pool the hotel is up a hill as is most things in seoul as it is a very hilly city a bit like my city Edinburgh the staff are very polite but their English is so so I would recommend the hotel to anyone thank u I will write about my hols in Korea if u + anyone else would like to know especially the Europeans as i found virtually no one from Europe bye for now.
A nice hotel. Nothing over the top but it did its job and the price was fair. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The WiFi worked and the beds were comfortable. It was easy to get there from an airport (the bus brought you right there) and it was close to public transportation and things to do.
calm, clean and very modern room (equipped with AC, very important during summer). Friendly staff working at the hotel. The bar offers pricy but delicious cocktails. Breakfast is suitable for all kind of tastes: korean-dish and european food. Nothing to complain about
I have been in this hotel during July 2016. The hotel il located not far away from two metro stations of line num. 9, and it is 10 minutes walking distance from Gangnam square. The check was fast even if the english was not fluent. The room was large clean and with good air conditioning. The same for the bathroom. The gym is good with modern machines. The restaurant offers excellent variety of food with good quality. WIFI is free of charge and very fast. It is the perfect hotel for business travelers. Fast clean and easy. I will come back here for sure.
Lovely venue for my son's wedding up on a rooftop dining area - delicious! foods and tasteful decor. Our rooms for the night where comfortable, tastefully decorated and very reasonably priced for a large city like Seoul. Staff were friendly and helpful as well.
Stayed here for three nights with my brother. Good central location for nightlife. Hotel is boutique sized and the rooms are pretty small, we had twin room and it was too small for two men to share, especially the bathroom. Well priced amongst other hotels in the area.
Just a perfect hotel a very central area, for restaurants, bars and shopping. Clean, rooms very modern and furnished, and staff extremely gentle. You can find also. Rey nice pieces of modern art. Subway is just 100 meters away! Must come and stay! Really Suggested
My worst hotel experience over the last 2 years, staff at the front desk lacking common sense approach. After a 4 nights stay in the hotel, at check out i requested a 30 min complimentary room / shower, for later in the day (b4 flying back to europe). The morning staff confirmed to me it would be okay. The night shift staff argued and argued that they could not grant me a room for 30min, in other words, they said they could not keep their colleague's agreement. Uaw, not much to add further on. I could have not experienced worst customer service in recent times.
Front desk is helpful and speaks English. They provide umbrella when it rains. We stayed for 7 nights and was very pleased with this hotel. Very near all kinds of food places and short walk to the metro.
Can't complain for the price I paid. I guess this is one of the more affordable hotels if one would still want to stay in an international chain. The location is very central, in the Gangnam area. The first room I was given was a non-smoking room but there was smell of smoke, so I changed rooms. The second room was good when I checked in, but when I returned to the hotel at night, I could smell smoke, not sure if this is via the air ventilation. The room is comfortable and provided with complimentary bottled water, which is appreciated. The only thing I am not used to is that they did not offer a shower facility once you checked out and returned in the evening for a moderately long international flight.
Its not a hotel that is fancy but it has everything you need of high quality standard. Rooms are compact however they are perfectly adequate, good breakfast, and transfer to the airport. To be honest i didn't spend much time in the hotel, but its a perfect location for Gangnam.
Stayed here on a 2 day business trip to Seoul. Not a prancy hotel, but the service was very proffesional. Easy and curtious check in. I had bokked a suite trough Expedia at a fair price, and got a room at the 14th floor. Nice view of the city towards Seoul tower. Needed a ironboard, got it immidiatly. The aircon was sentralized, so it was not possible to adjust the in room temprature, but they rectified it offering me a big fan. Breakfast was plentiful, barservice and menu in restaurant was more than adequate. Prices was what You would expext in a hotel. No worries, a lot of stores and eateries near by were one could dine for a few bucks. All in all a nice experience.
We stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Subway is closeby and lots of restaurants and shops at walking distance. Friendly staff and good service. We stayed at top floor and the room got quite hot, but a fan was placed immediately upon our remark. We recommend this hotel for tourist purpose.
During my stay in Seoul, I stayed in three 4-star hotels of similar price. I expected this hotel would be at least average from the review. The room and the location is really great but there are few things that I was disappointed during my stay: 1. Complimentary Shuttle Bus Service ? It is stated on the hotel's website and other booking sites that the hotel will provide free area shuttle. I asked the front desk at three different times. At the first time, a woman with a pretty smile said that I should book the shuttle bus one day before. So after I confirmed where and when I want to go, the second time when I go to the front desk, the other woman pointed to the screen showing the KAL timetable. Obviously, she couldn't understand English well so I gave up talking to her. The third time I see another women, and she said there is no area shuttle. Can someone please tell me if they have experience in taking the shuttle? 2. There is ICE Dispenser in the corridor but it was not working. 3. I asked for a fork, a guy asked me to get it from the restaurant. So I went down to the restaurant but no one was there. Then, I went back to the room and called for assist, the guy who picked up the phone was very impatient and said "I told you to get it from the restaurant!" His attitude makes me feel like I do something really wrong and my request is over the line. I was quite disappointed and speechless at that time as this is not the service I expected from Best Western. - Pros: 1. I sleep quite well, the room is quite. The room's insulation is really great as even if my room is close to the elevator, I could not hear any noise. 2. The hotel is right in the middle of the two subway stations. 3. Airport shuttle to and from ICN is right in front of the hotel, that means, you don't have to get your luggage to cross the street. This was the main reason why I booked this hotel. -- I am totally disappointed to this stay, and this is the worst hotel during my stay. I see no reason of booking the hotel again. I stayed in few other Best Western hotels before and they are average. I won't consider Best Western hotels out of U.S. again after this stay. One more tip: If you would like to take the subway, you may go left or right to either station. However, I highly recommend you to exit from Eonju station when you go back to hotel. It is less steep and the distance to hotel is shorter.
Walking distance from the bars, restaurants and shops of Gangnam, and well connected by public transportation, this hotel is in a good location for exploring Seoul. The hotel itself is very average, rooms are basic but fine for a few nights, and staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is pretty extensive and reasonably priced. Definitely not a luxury choice, however, it's convenient and comfortable.
Breakfast is awful, the rooms are tiny, very few plugs. Location is good. but i would not bring my wife or children to this one. There are better options so please find them. Next time i will spend more money and go to a proper grown up hotel
Very good quality overall like all Best Western Hotels. Well located a quarter of a mile from the metro station. Going down the boulevard to the junction, a small street on the right and left, full of restaurants, cheap and nice. Hotel staff is very nice, typical korean, helpful and smiling. One hitch: breakfast. Strangely enough, very expensive. Just by yourself some bread at the Paris Baguette baker shop (that small street, right at the bottom of the boulevard) and coffee at the 7/11 supermarket next door and take your break fast in your room, using the kettle supplied.
Stayed here before for business. The hotel is ideally located close to the metro, shops and plenty of places to eat and drink. This area is very vibrant, safe with many young people around. The only downside if you are being driven is the evening traffic on the main road outside. The rooms are a little on the small size for Asia. However the price is very reasonable compared with other hotels like the Novatel and Ritz Carlton opposite. My room was quite despite facing the front road, clean and the free WiFi works very well. The aircon turned heater worked well which was convenient since it was very cold outside. There is a restaurant which I did not use, but I did have room service once plus a snack in their bar area which was extremely quite, good for meetings. My only criticism was that there was a kettle plus 2 bags of coffee, but no tea (not that I drink tea), and also no milk or any sorts or sugar.
Super service, very friendly and helpful receptionists. Breakfast was excellent and five minute walk to the main shopping street and vibrant restraunt district. Easy to get to and from the airport via the very comfortable and cheap ($16 AUD) limousine bus service (1 hour travel time from airport). My bed was on the firm side but that is normal for Korea. The views of the cityscape are stunning, request a room with a view!
Location more than convenient. Gangnam is within walking distance. Plenty of food choice. Subway station is also easy to reach. The subway from and to Gimpo airport is No 9 line. You can take the express one that will not stop endlessly. The subway station is about 500 meter away, easy to recognize, a tall building with many holes. Sleep quality is very good in the hotel. Comfortable bed, tidy restroom, international outlet. Not stable WIFI. I like the view from the room. Exchange 350 dollar, they made mistake 2 times, giving me 60% of the money. I don't expect that. So be careful to count the cash they give. The breakfast is of good value. Sufficient choices.
The hotel is located conveniently in Gangnam District so there are plenty of restaurants and shops available. It is fairly convenient to the subway stations. The KAL limousine bus service to Incheon Airport stops at the hotel which is VERY useful.
I reached the hotel at 11pm. Check-in took my group only 3 minutes. Nice staff who guided us nearby restaurant at late night. Rooms were very comfortable. But it is quite small. Good to stay for business trip I will stay here next time too.
I stayed for 3 night in the 3rd week of August. Its very convenient for business visits to Gangnam area, has almost all types of eating & Drinking joints nearby. Only let down was 1. no Tea bags or sugar in the room. They keep only the premix coffee powder. If you ask for Tea bag or Sugar, they politely regret. ( we North Indians are more fond of Tea than Coffee) 2. During the breakfast, if a simple item like Milk or Corn Flakes have finished ( there was a big group when I visited); the waiting staff will not replenish. Even upon asking to get something, they wil say,"we don;t have"
Hotel staff is courteous. Hotel room is good in size. AC is good. View from room is not great. Hotel is on slope so getting to subway stations nearby is quite a task Also main bus stop nearest to Hotel is about 10 mins walk.
This hotel was super clean, the staff very helpful and pleasant with good English skills. It is a short walk to the line 9 subway, with tons a places to eat and enjoy a cold beer close to the hotel. It was really nice have a place this in a foreign country, the rates were very reasonable.
The rooms are quite large and well furnished. Clean large bathroom, though the bath itself was a bit on the small side. Hotel staff is friendly and gives excellent advice about the immediate area of the hotel. And while their English might not always be perfect, they put a lot of effort into trying to help you. In terms of transport it's well located; Sinnonhyeon subway station is a few minutes walk away, making it a good base to explore the city. And the airport shuttle bus stops at the front door, which avoids you having to navigate the subway with your pile of luggage! Also nearby there are multiple convenience stores, some of which seem to be open 24/7. And just before you reach the subway station/Take Urban there is a little street that seems to go-on forever with nothing but pubs and restaurants. Enjoyable neighbourhood to hang around at night, and seemed quite safe as well.
