Best Western Plus Richmond Hill Inn

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Best Western Richmond Hill. The hotel is conveniently located off of I-95 and was a good stop for us on our way to Florida. The hotel was clean but a little dated. The room was comfortable and roomy. Breakfast was your typical steam table choices. No complaints overall.

NO complaints. To help make it even better especially for seniors we suggest: 1) new TALLER toilets (senior leg muscles aren't as strong as younger ones), 2) move the toilet paper roller closer to the toilet (it's currently about 18 inches away) 3) please don't dilute the orange juice (OFs need the potassium!).That's it. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in we noticed the area very clean and welcoming. The person at the desk was super friendly and accomodating. After entering our room (which we were able to choose) we noticed how clean the room was and basically the entire building. The beds are very comfortable as well. The room had all the amenities necessary for a good stay. The breakfast is also very good. Their coffee machine will grind the coffee beans at the moment you select which one you want. That was kinda cool :) The location was a bit distant from Savannah but it really wasn't a problem. My original stay was for 3 nights. I ended up canceling one night to stay at another WBP in Yulee, FL. We didn't realize that by doing that our daily rate was going to change. I contacted the hotel manager and she (Ms. Thurman) adjusted our rate and issued us a credit. Thank you so much! The Yulee, Fl location was also super good. We will definitely be back and recommend this hotel to all my family and friends.

My wife and I have stayed here many times because they have a heated indoor pool. The price is a bit of a premium. BUT on our last visit, the pool was not warm (they didn't warn us at check-in). Some type of maintenance issue, which is understandable. Another small family was also disappointed. Too chilly to swim so I gently suggested at the front desk that small refund for that aspect would be a goodwill gesture, ie $15? They said they would look into it the next day. Next day at checkout they said they would look into it with manager that afternoon. I said a token gesture would be fine. No more communication from them. Followed up with manager by email but no response. Bottom line is that it is an okay hotel but no guarantee for heated pool, or maybe anything for that matter? Despite charging slightly more than other hotels, they won't accept responsibility when they promise but don't deliver.

This hotel comes as advertised and reviewed. It is clean and well appointed as one might expect. We had a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room - extra decaf pods were available at the desk. The staff was friendly and helpful. I must caution that rooms that face the back are susceptible to noise from passing trains beyond the trees and brush there. Occasional barks from dogs walked back there also.

Maria at front desk was so friendly and helpful. Room was clean, updated and comfortable. Traveling with small dog, area was well lit for night time walk. Lots of restaurants to choose from nearby. Hotel is right off I-95 making it perfect for overnight stay on way to Fl

We spent the night at this hotel on our way to Florida. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, and staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms, halls and bathrooms were a little dated, but clean. The drive into the hotel is a bit hard to find, but the sign for the hotel can be seen from the highway. One of our family members has severe allergies, including pet hair, so we were very happy to find that this hotel has one floor that is pet free.

Our stay at this Best Western Plus was a Plus. We were able to get a room on the ground floor, which was important to me because of my arthritis and my difficulty climbing stairs. The bed was comfortable and smelled clean. The water pressure in the shower was ideal and was nice and hot in no time. Also, they welcomed my dog without the $150 refundable deposit that I had read about online. My dog doesn't eliminate indoors, doesn't bark a lot and isn't destructive. The only problem I had with this property is that it is hard to find the entrance. The property is set well back from the highway, providing a good night's sleep. But the sign at the entrance is very small and short. If you miss the driveway, and there are several others in a row, it's very difficult to make a U turn on the highway to get back to it. There was a small coffee pot in the room as well as free, fresh breakfast, including more coffee near the lobby. The staff was super friendly and helpful when I discovered after checkout that I had left my earrings on the counter in the room. I got them back! This was a good value for the money.

Honestly went back and forth when reading the reviews. Reviews dated November and December were not very good yet the most recent reviews were complimentary. And when I read the responses from the general manager I was impressed that someone as paying attention. The hotel is extremely easy to find- right off the highway and easy back on. The lobby is welcoming. Phyllis the desk woman was personable, helpful and patient as well as very busy being the only person checking travelers in. The room was very clean as well as the bathroom. Beds were comfortable and there was a chair with ottoman to relax on. The room was quiet. The hotel was next to an Arby's- walking distance for those not wanting to get back in the car. Breakfast was the usual fare. Breakfast attendant was great! If I were to offer suggestions- add a few more hot and cold items to the breakfast area, a larger carafe for hot water and shower bars in the shower. Would highly recommend!

Richmond Hill is right on the interstate but you cannot hear highway noise. It is a great stop just south of Savannah if you are travelling the East Coast. We have stayed several times and never dissapointed. It is a natural stop for us and we will stay again when traveling that route

Chose this hotel because it was close and a good value. I have stayed at mostly Marriott properties over the years. This hotel was as good or better than the other limited service hotels I have stayed in.

We had a very positive experience at Best Western Richmond Hill GA. Everyone was very helpful! We had trouble with our tv. remote. A manager and a tech, Matthew, helped resolve the problem but when they couldn't get it fixed, they moved us to another room. I'm sorry I didn't get the lady's name. She also was there for breakfast. She seemed very loyal to Best Western. Thank you Best Western for employing such good people. It made our travels much easier.

We were traveling and were ready to stop for the night. I was able to make this reservation while eating dinner. Have not stayed at a Best Western Plus before and we were pleased with our stay. Very clean and neat.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety and was hot and fresh. The breakfast ladies worked hard to keep everything stocked. Did not use the pool but there were a lot of people in the pool

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly employee and made to feel welcome and valued. The room was very nice, spacious and clean and the towels were soft. That's a win, win, and a win, not to mention the room rate through Expedia was the most reasonable in the area... another win!

Very average at best. No interest from front desk when I called from cell to tell them the room phone was broken. Bed was not comfortable. Bathroom fan had a loud sound when I turned light on. Breakfast just ok.

The plus is that all of the staff but one were friendly and nice, the bed was very comfortable, and the hot breakfast was superb. Two mornings they served real scrambled eggs with sausages and one morning scrambled eggs and bacon, all with self serve pancakes from an automatic machine, raisin bread or wheat bread or bagels for toast, yogurt, fruit, porridge with cereals, etc. The hotel is older. The laundry has one machine each of dryer and washer for $2/load. When we arrived the older A/C unit in our room sounded close to death so they moved us to a different room. The negatives were that our room was totally missed the next day for room service. The shower curtain around our tub enclosure didn't work well and when we showered there was a puddle on the floor. The bathroom had no A/C and the pool area was shut down for most of our stay. The hot tub is extremely small. With the huge selection of hotels available, I would not recommend this one.

While traveling to visit friends in NC, we needed a place to spend the night. Richmond Hills was the ideal spot and the Best Western was the best hotel. There were plenty of restaurants in the are to choose from

You get what you pay for- midquality room for midrange price. Breakfast only available 6-9am- pancakes & scrambled eggs. No water pressure in shower, toilet very low to ground. The phone charger in our room was broken. Hotel was clean, beds comfortable & staff pleasant. Noisy- lots of families with kids, which is what you would expect with the price & location.

The hotel was nice with free wifi no password. It had a decent breakfast nice selection of choices. The beds were comfortable. Quiet location that sits back off the road. They do have a pool area with a hot tub. We saw a few cockroaches and bugs. But it didn't stop my boys from using the pool.

Stopped here in our way to visit family. Easy on/off location from I95. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, decent internet and a nice breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Very quiet and we felt very safe.

The property is outstanding. the service was excellent, everything was clean and modern. Still, I'm not so much a fan of this part of town. It's not dangerous or anything, but it is kind of industrial, and if you're coming in off I-95 in the evening, you might have trouble finding a restaurant that's open. We spent nearly an hour driving around to different places--all of which turned out to be closed, or sketchy. Or *really* sketchy. We ended up right back where we started, at the lovely Arby's drive-thru next door. Not exactly our plan. So ... the property was terrific. But for dinner ... either get there early, or just get your carry-out and skip all the driving around. The next morning, pile into the car, maybe drive into Savannah for a breakfast that can't be beat, or just get on the road and move on. This won't really sound like a compliment ... but really it is ... There were a hundred things that could have gone wrong at this property. And NOTHING went wrong. Clean, modern, good service, good price, and most importantly ... no surprises! Thank you Best Western Plus. Thank you.

We cannot say enough for the ease of this stay. Location is easy on and off of I95. Friendliness greeted us upon entry, Breakfast included had many selections and was for a quick bite or a leisurely full breakfast. Definitely will return.

Reception desk was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and quiet and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was well stocked and good quality with an attendant available to help. Noon checkout made departure relaxing.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Hotel spaces are very clean. There is plenty of parking so there's no fighting for a spot. I would highly recommend it. There are also Many eating establishments nearby.

Stayed here for 1 night on our drive down South. The pool and customer service were the best parts of our trip. Check in was wonderful. Pool was the same temp as the hot tub - we loved it! If you're looking for a crisp, cool pool you won't get it here. Unfortunately, the room itself wasn't so great. The beds were too soft for us. If you moved, so did the person next to you. I found a hair on one of the towels. Shower water pressure could have been a little stronger.

Stayed here a few times before and was always very satisfied - However, this time the room was not cleaned to standard - the draw handles and the insides of the draws were sticky - the desk top was dirty and we found a used pillow case under the bed - we do thank Kara for comping our pet fee to make up for our disappointment - the breakfast was great as always

After 3 nights on the road in less than great pet friendly hotel rooms this hotel was literally a breath of fresh air. None of the over deodorized rooms. Great breakfast and pleasant helpful staff. Big back area for our dog to stretch her legs in private. Rooms were clean and modern

Rooms was clean and the most helpful and nice employees , everything in the room was in working order. Cookies was served at night. A large choice of coffees was amazing. Hotel was quiet never heard traffic or people in the hotel.

This was the cleanest motel I have ever stayed at. The breakfast was equally excellent. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone traveling through this area. The staff was efficient an provided excellent service.

I was traveling south headed to Florida from New Jersey(first time). I am a woman traveling alone with my pets so a safe location to walk my dog around the hotel was very important(and a clean room). The hotel exceeded my expectations. I was greeted by a very helpful and kind front desk lady...especially welcoming after my 12 hour drive. She gave me suggestions where to get dinner. There were plenty of carts to get my items inside..can't tell you how helpful this was. My room was spotless and even smelled clean. The area to walk the dogs was safe, well lit, and CLEAN. The luggage in my car was also safe and the parking lot well lit. The hotel was located directly off of 95..so super convenient. Most travelers were headed to florida and all of them were just looking for a place to rest and everyone was great. I also want to mention the morning desk lady who was setting up, amazingingly sweet greeting very early in the am. The only negative is the pet fee was not mentioned when booking. There is a fee for each pet, I had 2 with me,so it ended up being aprox an extra $50. I don't take issue with the fee, but it was not mentioned. Sadly, there were a few feral cats in the woods next to the hotel(left side)....so if you decide to stay here...bring a bit of food for them, poor creatures. I will definitely return and I am so happy I decided to stay here.

This hotel was very clean and a great value! All of the workers were responsive, friendly and helpful. The manager even helped adjust our stay because we had to drive rather than fly because of a storm in Florida. I highly recommend this hotel.

After reading a few bad reviews, I was a bit worried, but they were so untrue. This hotel is very nice, our room was very clean, recently updated and couldn't find anything wrong with it. The location is great. Its among other hotels and restaurants and right off 95. Breakfast was good also. I would not hesitate to stay at this place at all.

Very clean, comfortable and quiet room. Fridge has a freezer! Nice decor, comfy beds with warm comforters, plenty of towels and toiletries. Easy to find off 95. Front desk staff was warm, courteous, and thanked us for being rewards members. Decent breakfast choices, we'll stocked and very clean breakfast room. We will definitely be back on our next trip south. Thank you for great service.

This Best Western is excellent in every respect. The room was super clean and the Breakfast was first class. We did not have reservations but we were treated well. We stayed here on our way to Naples Florida for one night and paid only $116.99 plus taxes.

Very nice hotel. Front reception staff super friendly, a lovely start to the stay. Beds comfortable and rooms clean however our smoke detector in our room was missing with the wires hanging out. . Easy drive into Savannah. Many easy to get to restaurants. Breakfast however is finished at 9am. In our 5 week holiday around the USA, including multiple Best Western Plus Hotels, this is the first hotel to have breakfast shut and roped off at 9am on a Sunday. We were told we could take our breakfast back into the room to eat however did not feel welcome to wait around cooking toast or pancakes. Not such a nice ending to the stay.

Greeted promptly upon arriving. Very clean. Well organized breakfast area and pleasant staff who kept everything well supplied. Pet friendly, comfy beds, etc. Definitely the perfect spot for half way stop from Ohio to Florida. Pet fee was only $20 which is less expensive than most. Plenty of restaurants within a couple of miles.

Three of us and our pooch checked in on Sunday late afternoon. I asked for a quiet room and was placed on the second floor. It was a very quiet hotel! No banging doors and voices to be heard. As for a dog, there is plenty of grassy areas for them. The beds were nice and comfortable, the entire place looked really clean. Front desk people were extremely nice, same with the breakfast attendant. She was really on top of it! Eggs, sausage, pancakes and bread products were plentiful and good. On the next drive down 95 from Pennsylvania to Florida, we will definitely stay here again.

It's clean, that's what most important (aside from curtains and dump carpet) It's also pretty old. Furniture and bathroom is like from 20 years ago, although chairs and carpet are newish. The mattress is extremely hard. I think investing in toppers should be a priority. The ac by the window is sooo good. Makes it hot or cold in matters of a couple of minutes. The breakfast is disappointing: juice, sugar cereals, coffee, bageld and bread, yogurt, apples. Hot stuff are powdered eggs and barely warm sausage. Also pancake machine which makes kind of raw pancakes. The breakfast lady is relentless, cleaning and restocking non stop. Breakfast from 6am to 9am which means at 8am its packed. It's just too early. Usually breakfast ends 1 hour before check out. But check out is at 12pm.

We were on the 1st floor and the room above was occupied by a "kids' football team" It was impossible to get to sleep with the noise created by "kids" running around in the room above. This noise went from 8:30 PM to slightly after midnight. I called the front desk to report the noise at 10:40 PM but noise did not abate until after midnight. I don't blame the hotel, but better insultation between floors might have helped.

There are quite a few hotels to choose from in the area. So happy we chose Best Western Richmond Hill Georgia! We were traveling from Cape Cod, Massachusetts to South Florida, we were exhausted when we walked in to inquire about a room. We were greeted at the desk by a smiling ( wish I got her name) desk clerk. The hotel is very clean, beds super comfy, good size room with large bathroom, microwave and fridge. Beautiful sitting area out back, so relaxing. We didn't get a chance to use the gym or pool, they looked so clean and inviting though. Breakfast was very good, hot, many choices and very clean. Christina in the breakfast area was amazing, she kept everything full while cleaning and socializing with the guests. ( She had her hands full the morning we were there, as there was at least 15 elementary aged children to feed) We highly recommend staying here, way to go Best Western Richmond Hill Georgia!! The staff was so pleasant. They welcomed us and asked if we would like to book another room on our way back from Florida. The breakfast was good and the room was very comfortable. Each time I went by the front desk there was always a smile or hello. I appreciated the friendliness.

We hadn't made a reservation but there was no problem in getting a room. The hotel is right off I-95 and easy to get in and out of off the road. Plenty of parking and reasonable rates. Staff was very nice. Room was clean and hotel was quiet. Hot breakfast was served. Savannah and all it has to offer was not far.

We loved our stay here. The rooms were standard but clean and spacious. It's a 25 min ride to Savanah. The staff was very friendly. We loved our breakfast! Fresh Pancakes (from a Pancakes maker), cheese omelets, bagels, sausages, cereal; anything you can think of for breakfast, was available.

We definitely enjoyed this hotel. The staff was nice and attentive. The fitness center was decent and so was the pool. The pool is a tad small but perfect for my two children who aren't great swimmers. I can't speak on the evening treat because we were not at the hotel at 6 pm either night during our stay. I wish there was hand sanitizer throughout but this isn't a deal breaker. The beds were soft as were the towels and pillows. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast although I wish there were more fruit options. My husband said can we make Best Western our hotel from now own.

This hotel was right off the highway. Very clean, amenities were more then sufficient with an indoor pool with hot tub and a fitness room. Staff from check in to check out were very pleasant, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. Beds and pillows comfortable and room size with 2 queens was decent size for us.

The Best Western Richmond Hill, GA was a great place to stay the night. The rooms were clean and the hotel staff very accommodating. The breakfast the next morning was the best one I have had at a motel in a long time. They even had a pancake machine that worked very well and provided excellent pancakes.

Hotel is immaculately clean. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Many options for breakfast. Late checkout due to an online meeting was no problem. We would absolutely stay at this hotel again. Far superior to other hotels in this price range.

I would be very leery about handing over your credit card to this hotel. We booked and prepaid for our 4/24/22 - 4/27/22 on Priceline. We arrive and use a credit card for incidentals. This is standard and we've never had any issues doing so. After we get back home, we notice that Best Western Plus Richmond Hill has charged us $236.67 for our prepaid stay. Mistakes happen, no big deal, so I give the hotel a call on 5/2/22. I speak with a manager, Renata, who assures me it was their mistake and says a refund will be issued to our credit card. The same afternoon, I receive an updated copy of our Guest Folio showing the refunded amount. I wait two weeks with no refund, then call on 5/16/22 and leave a message with Sade at the front desk requesting Renata give me a call back. No return call, so I reply to their previous e-mail requesting they look into the refund again. No response to that e-mail. I e-mail again on 05/18/22 to follow up once again. Still no response. I called again this morning, 5/20/22 and was informed Renata won't be in until Monday. My patience is wearing thin, so I'll be requesting a chargeback through the credit card company next week if this is not resolved. Also, upon our return, we had 5 fraudulent charges on the same credit card we used for incidentals. I don't want to make any accusations here (that's for the credit card company to determine), but it seems a little suspicious to me that the credit card we only use to buy groceries, pay our internet bill and used for incidentals at this hotel was targeted.

Very friendly front desk. Rooms are clean and average size. Pillows way to small but that seems to be the standard these days. Beds are OK, not firm at all. Breakfast was pretty good, eggs, pancakes, sausage, breads. The young lady who works the breakfast is absolutely the best I have seen. What a great attitude and always has a smile. Stayed twice in the past two weeks and always received the same service from everyone.

This is an incredibly clean hotel. Even though it is pet friendly, you wouldn't know it until you saw an animal in the hallway! The staff was so kind, and they met every one of our needs with a smile. Make time to swim in the indoor pool too; it's fantastic!!

This was a find. The hotel is set back from the road and is quieter than most hotels near the interstate. It is pet friendly with nice grassy areas around the hotel for walking, taking care of business, and play. The rooms were clean and well kept. The only criticism I have is that the shower head was not adjustable and produced a fine and widely spaced spray, making rinsing long hair more difficult. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed at this location while traveling from Florida. Was quoted a we now know was a ridiculous price of $211.00 plus tax. The room was dirty and the sheets were not changed from the previous guest. Room changed and not much better. Dirty bathroom. Mold in shower and a towel from previous guest left hanging on door, greasy film on bathroom counter. Upon check out our bill had increased to $255.00 plus tax and reception was unable to change due to no manager being present on site. Having stayed at many Best Westerns, head office really should be reviewing this franchise! This hotel does not meet the quality and service we have come to expect at a Best Western hotel

Stayed here twice now and will stay again when in area. Pet friendly, room was clean, nice property and a quiet location but still convenient to the highway! Staff was friendly and attentive. Keep up the good work

Overall, the hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The rooms were step above a regular Best Western and on par with Marriott Courtyard (which is not in Richmond Hill). I have stayed at the Fairfield, Springhill and now this hotel in Richmond Hill. This is by far the best. Funny thing is, if I was not traveling with a dog, I might not have chosen it.

This hotel was very very clean. Very updated. And the staff was super friendly. The breakfast was very organized and very good. The breakfast attendant was very hard-working and extremely friendly and helpful. I will stay here again no doubt

The hotel is great clean- staff - room - breakfast all excellent - could not tell that the hotel was pet friendly However I paid twice as much for this visit as I did last time I stayed here in December 2021 - for the price I may try one of several other hotels that are at this location

Have stayed near Savannah several times. We have stayed at several different chain motels along the Interstate. This one was better than most of them. Interstate motels take a lot of abuse and this one seems to be keeping up. The staff was friendly and the rooms comfortable. Pretty good breakfast too. The only oddity was in the pool area. There is an opening in the hot tub that drains like a waterfall into the pool. This makes the pool the same temperature as the hot tub. This makes the air in entire room feel like a sauna.

Great place to stay Convenient location by 95. Friendly staff. Indoor pool and jacuzzi. Pool was extremely warm. Hot tub runs off in pool. So warm made pool miserable to swim in. Exercise room, entertainment room with dart board and Foosball. Breakfast was fair. Eggs , sausage, pancakes, bread options, yogurt, juice and coffee. Room was nice. Comfy bed.

A very friendly lady greeted me at check-in. She thanked me for being a Best Western member and gave me a little bag with water and snacks. She also had an extra blanket for us as I had requested when making the reservation. The Richmond Hill Inn was the only one in the chain that we did not have to return to the desk to ask for an extra blanket. WiFi speed when measured with speedtest.net was a lightning download of 99 Mbps and upload of 50 Mbps. Sadly, however, there was noise from the traffic all evening and the room could not be made very dark. While the sink water pressure was good and the drain worked just fine, the shower left a lot to be desired with very low water pressure. And the toilet was very low to the floor.

$30 charge for a dog is excessive. I can see $10. Lack of communication from front desk. Told dog wasn't allowed to bark or left in the room by itself. never told were breakfast was and had to ask the people in the room next to us. If dog can't bark I guess babies can't cry.

Our visit made me a fan of Best Western! Clean, comfortable, above average breakfast options with friendly lady keeping the food coming and the surfaces wiped clean, well priced. AC was quiet and efficient. Front desk at check in barely acknowledged us. :(

Easily located near I-95 S south of Savannah, we chose this stop on the way to Florida based on a friend's recommendation...it was perfect. We met the lovely checkin clerk Sade', who provided warmed baked Otis Spunkmeyer cookies and gave us a fabulous recommendation for dinner at a delicious veteran-owned steakhouse, The Local on17. Our rooms, as the lobby bathroom, were very clean and smelled lovely. Our room and beds were comfortable, with good hot water and towels and plenty of heat. The breakfast buffet was attended by a smiling lady named Christina, who kept the food choices refilled, and we enjoyed the eggs, sausage and tropical mango juice, with the push button quickly made pancakes with hot syrup. Everything was so clean and nice, and quiet for a restful travel stop! Great job, Best Western at Richmond Hill!

When my husband found out we were staying at a Best Western, he was worried that it just would not fit our standards. However, he and all of us were impressed. The facility and rooms were very clean, the staff was professional even during a power outage beyond their control, the pool was nice, the fitness center was good. Great place for families to stay! We will definitely be back.

Everything was perfect! I have stayed here twice in one week as it is the halfway point between NC and Florida (for me). The check in process and quick and efficient. The room was clean, had a soft mattress and plenty of pillows. The mini fridge had a "freezer" section which was greatly appreciated. Also the shower was hot and really good pressure. I also appreciate the free hot breakfast! I would definitely stay here again.

I never write reviews for anything. But I have to say traveling with my wife and my dog this is the place to stay in Richmond hills. Clean safe and very convivial staff awaits you. I definitely will be back next year on my travels to Florida.

This is our 2nd stay & it was just as good as the 1st which was just after they opened. I'm impressed that with the many dogs staying there wasn't even one pet hair in the room nor even a hint of pet odor!!! The staff were fantastic and exceptionably friendly and helpful.

After staying at a Sure Stay Hotel the night before on our way to Florida that was awful, we were concerned about staying at Best Western in Richmond Hill. We were pleasantly surprised. This place couldn't have been better. Just walking in you could see the difference. Everything looked clean and taken care of. Our room on the 3rd floor was bright, clean and comfy. Internet was fast. Our breakfast was excellent. Items were constantly refilled. Fresh scrambled eggs always replaced. The selection was varied and several juice selections as well. We definitely will stop there again when in the area. The only thing I might add is, taxes are extremely high. It worked out to be over 20% of our room rate.

Only reason they got 4 stars rather than 5 was the difficulty entering and parking towing a boat. Have to enter a different drive, which required going back out on 4 lane and making a u turn. A little outcry given the traffic on the road Girl at front desk was very helpful bc we actually were in the parking lot next door and called thinking there was no parking and we were going to have to cancel. She went outside and made sure there was room for us in their lot and told us had to enter through the Arby's drive. Required going out a making a u-turn to get back in - sits behind the Arby's and couldn't tell that's where we had to enter at night.

Stayed one night while traveling. Very quiet, clean, comfortable beds. The pool and hot tub were available for use. They also had a breakfast available starting at 6am. It was actually set up a little earlier than that which was great. We will definitely stay here again while traveling. Traveled with a dog so having a quiet room was great.

This hotel is spotless! Beds are super comfortable and the rooms are spacious. Everything was in great condition. Would highly recommend! The hotel is located far enough away from the road so the noise level is minimal.

Pre-birthday celebration for my wife! We had the pool and hot tub to ourselves so that was great! There was no noise whatsoever there's no smoking. Very quiet stay! The breakfast was amazing the coffee was fresh it even have these little pancakes that you push a button and it makes them!

Overall it wasn't a bad experience and I would probably stay here again when I come back to the Savannah area to visit. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. It was nice to have a hotel that was offering a hot breakfast again! The room was clean and there was little noise even though the hotel was almost full every night. I had a few issues however, my key card deactivated every day. I would leave in the morning and it was fine and get back that night, get up to the 3rd floor only to find out that my key card doesn't work again. I was staying 4 nights, after the 3rd night of this happening I did ask to be comped at least my pet fee, but they didn't do anything for the constant inconvenience of having to come back every night to get it re-activated. The 3rd night, the door actually got stuck and I had to make 3 trips down to the front desk before I finally got into my room. The only other thing, is that the hot tub is small (fits 4 people very closely) and the jets are way to powerful. I ended up with bruises from the jets after only sitting in the hot tub for 10 minutes. The other thing is that the hot tub wasn't hot, it just felt like gross bath water you are sharing with some random people you don't know... the heat could definitely go up at least 20 degrees.

The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast area & lobby was nicely decorated for Valentines Day. My room was what I expected, no problems and no surprises. I have no doubt that if I had encountered an issue it would have been resolved within 24 hours based on the staff I saw working. There were plenty of restaurants around, with a list in the room with addresses.

The check-in process took longer than usual because of several issues occurring simultaneously and only one staff member to handle everything. This was further exacerbated by a malfunctioning key coder. The one staff person was forced to run from floor-to-floor, answer phones, and attempt to greet travelers at the front desk. The bed and pillows were not the most comfortable that we have experienced in the past, but that would have been forgotten if we could have slept the night. The noise was intolerably obnoxious! Both my partner and I were completely unable to sleep. If it were not for the late hour and our exhaustion, I would have left and found another hotel (plus the fact that I would have forfeited my deposit.) I understand that hotels accommodate travelers with pets and the hotel staff can not control pet owners nor their respective pets, but perhaps travelers with pets should be housed separately from those travelers without pets - especially if their dogs are going to bark continuously all night! (I am a dog person/owner.) I frequently travel for business and pleasure. In recent years, this has to be the worst night that my partner and I have ever experienced in a hotel. All I asked for was a quiet room. I would have gladly dismissed the chaos for a night of sleep! My apologies for the "poor" review.

This location is the perfect stop over when we leave the grand children on the way home. Everything is clean and tidy, perfect for an overnight stay. The front desk clerk was very cheerful and was bringing out complementary cookies when we got there.

The little rubber ducky in our room just caused a smile to come over our face. Due to the holiday, some services were not available, but we were treated very well. (it was Christmas eve) We were given curtesy, politeness and our room was clean and comfortable. Even our dog Wynter enjoyed his stay and his biscuits.

Reserved this hotel thru Priceline for 3 nights. My wife got covid and the hotel would not cancel our reservation and kept all of our money. Their Priceline website said cancellations anytime up to 12/26. Priceline tried to cancel on 12/25; 12/26; and 12/27 and they said no one was at the hotel who had authority to cancel. Priceline spoke to the hotel on 12/31 and they refused to reimburse any money.

We were traveling from the Florida Keys to Maryland for the holidays and Georgia is usually our halfway stopping point. We chose this hotel because it was right off of 95 and pet friendly. The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated for Christmas. The person who checked us in was pleasant and gave us recommendations for dinner. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff were friendly. The parking lot is well lit and safe. Hotel lobby is clean. The pool was nice. The bathroom floor was not clean - urine spots on the floor. The worst feature - no blackout curtains and that well lit parking lot also lights up your whole room. Very hard to sleep with so much light coming in.

On a long drive to Florida, we stopped at Richmond Hill almost on a (Weariness-induced) whim. We looked for the Best Western logo and were not disappointed. Friendly, clean; great beds. A nice respite on our trip.

Super friendly staff. Room was clean and even had a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was great!! The best part was that they really are pet friendly not just pet tolerant like many other hotels. All the pet amenities including biscuits at check-in!

We needed an overnight stay on our drive down to Florida and this one was perfect. The hotel clearly is following strict cleaning protocols and all of the friendly staff were very helpful. Every area of the hotel we used was clean & tidy. Beds were comfy and the breakfast was great. I've never seen an automated, conveyor belt style pancake maker. The coffee area had multiple flavored syrups and there were several hot tea selections. Eggs, sausage, breads & pastries, bagels, cereals, etc. Bottom line, we wanted CLEAN, COMFY, FRIENDLY & breakfast-this place filled the bill on all counts! Highly recommend!!!!

Just passing through the Savannah area, this was a great choice for a place to stay. Plenty of food options nearby, easy on and off from the highway, and good staff. Breakfast was fine, especially the sliced peaches

First off the Hotel is clean and comfortable and quiet and the breakfast was good. But what impressed me in particular was an employee named AALIYAH - you see i lost my AirPods. They were new and valued at approximately $180. I called from 6 hours away in another state. Aaliyah tried to not only try to help me use my iPhone app to track them down (find my wasn't working on this set ) but then went into the room to look for the pods for me and found them under the bed! Then she made arrangement to have them mailed them back to me. I got them just 2 days later! In a world that just doesn't seem to give a damn about anyone anymore and many would probably pocket the AirPods - it was super refreshing to meet a great person who sympathized with my loss and then went well out of her way to make it right! Someone give this sweet girl a promotion or I might just fly back to your hotel and poach her from you! Thank you AALIYAH for being such a good person and exemplary employee. I had a wonderful time at this Best Western. When there was an issue with my reservation through a 3rd party, Michelle at the front desk worked with me to get me into my room quickly. And after I checked out and accidentally left some items in the room, she went above and beyond to ship them back to me. If I'm ever down in Richmond Hill again, I will definitely be staying here. Thank you!

I enjoy this hotel, set back from the road so nice and quiet. Front desk personnel are friendly. There are restaurants nearby and options for Food delivery as well. On-ramp/Off ramp to I-95 right down the street.

Welcome check-in, good room as requested. Professional accomodating staff. Location ideal for overnight stay, right off 95. Perfect place midway between our Wahington, DC stay and our condo in Florida.

Basic and budget friendly. Good location if you are not wanting to stay right in Savannah. Staff were very attentive during breakfast keeping things clean, however the selection of food is not very good. The room was what I needed as I didn't plan on spending much time there. My complaint would be the shower, lack of water pressure and enough hot water.It is pet friendly so keep that in mind, I didn't mind dogs being on the elevators and in the lobby but some might.

The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and the hotel was decorated very nicely for a travel hotel. The complementary breakfast included the standard eggs, sausage, and pancakes. It was good. I recommend this hotel if you are traveling and want to keep your expenses down. This hotel is well worth the money.

We stayed at this hotel three years ago, and I have to say they have kept up their quality of cleanliness, and professionalism! The grounds are kept clean, the lobby and breakfast area was also very clean. The rooms even though they have carpet, has been kept extremely clean and or replaced to make sure the smell and appearance of the hotel is top notch, I was traveling with my travel trailer and there was plenty of room for me to park. The dog area was clean and provided doggie bags. The hotel was quiet and every one on staff was helpful and friendly.

The guest room facing a natural area was clean and relatively quiet. The bed was comfortable. However, the Internet came and went, the air conditioner would not shut off on its own, the refrigerator compressor was constantly cycling a groaning loudly, and the ceramic throne was so low to the floor that anyone older than 50 would have a difficult time arising from it. Anyone of any age without a night light might miss it completely and end up on the floor. Issues like these should be addressed before guests arrive. This seems to be a newer hotel and it actually had a breakfast buffet-a plus at this time of paper bag grab and go.

Traveled long distance with friends and pet. Everything about our overnight stay was perfect. Friendly, helpful staff, clean room and great breakfast! Also pet friendly, made easy. The staff even recommended a local restaurant for dinner.

Rude Staff, DIRTY ROOMS, Tried in vain to resolve issues with management but they were never available, I made several attempts and nothing. Guests and their hard earned money are not appreciated, dirty lines, bugs crawling up walls, incompetent staff, cut your losses and stay home..

Beware! I am not sure how this place got all the reviews but it is filthy. The halls smelled and our room had not been cleaned. As in, my child walked in and immediately said someone has been sleeping in these beds. As a woman traveling alone with children, I left immediately. I was unable to get a refund from the front desk - will be calling national customer relations.

This was our 3rd visit here. Happened to leave behind a library book. As we were traveling north, we realized it was gone but didn't know where we had left it. Imagine our relief when it arrived at our home on our return. Many thanks to the kind person who took the time to mail it back to us! Greatly appreciate it!

We love staying at the Best Western, the one in Richmond Hill is especially clean, staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is excellent, there is a large variety to choose from and it is always replenished. If you need a tray to carry your food to your room it was given to you. The girl that took care of the breakfast area was also very friendly and helpful. When we travel we look forward to staying in Richmond Hill.

If you have a pet and really have no qualms at all of ruining the environment for those who are 1. Allergic 2. Concerned about fleas 3. Unable to get out of the way quickly enough when 2 dogs face off to fight- then this is definitely your go-to place as two floors out of three are pet friendly. As an animal lover who may one day want to travel with my pet I understand the desire to have a travel companion. However, any hotel that prioritizes animal habitat over human habitat is doing a disservice to its average client who is not traveling with an animal. I exited the elevator in the middle of a dog fight and wondered how soon it will be before hotels get the message that dogs need to be muzzled in order to prevent incidents that end badly . This hotel appears to be new and shiny. However, it has its issues-animal prioritization being only one of them. Jasmine, at the desk when I entered the lobby to register was as disinterested in my arrival as it was possible to be. She didn't look up, smile or explain anything. Inside the guest room the Internet was not working. A representative had to reset it. Apparently the entire hotel had been without service. The room was clean and bright and the bathroom was large. Unfortunately, the porcelain throne was so ridiculously low to the floor it was begging for a night time visitor to miss it completely. Over 50's might need a hand dismounting. The air conditioner did not shut off on its own. The refrigerator's compressor constantly cycled and groaned loudly all night. The bedding was comfortable. This hotel served a pre-Covid style breakfast which was a plus in this time of paper bag offerings. Rooms at the rear of the hotel face a lawn and trees.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice this hotel was seeing that it is pet friendly. Everything was clean and smelled clean and fresh. I will be staying here with my dog on our future trips to the beach as it is the halfway mark. So glad I found this hotel for us.

This Best Western Plus was just what we needed for our travels. Really nice hotel, great service, clean and comfortable. We plan to keep this hotel on our list of stopovers on our travels. Absolutely worth your consideration! Pet friendly too!

Hotel was clean and comfortable, and staff was friendly and helpful. I felt very welcomed. And after a 10 hour drive, the 30 minutes I spent in their jacuzzi made me VERY happy! I highly recommend this hotel.

Driving from Florida to Virginia...needed a place to take a break...this served the purpose. Seemed to be enough places to eat nearby if needed...we didn't...just wanted to walk the dog (they are pet friendly), shower and lay down...clean...convenient...quiet. Everything we needed...nothing more...not a resort and not meant to be...lol Bri checked us in...cordial enough but not overly so...I imagine if I needed anything she may have arranged it but I didn't. The breakfast was a decent surprise...make your own pancakes if you want...we didn't...scrambled eggs and link sausage were good...juices and coffees...Rhonda kept it maintained and clean with a smile and acknowledged people as they went by...that was refreshing to see and kudos to her!!

This was the perfect hotel for a one night stay about halfway to our trip to Universal. The hotel was clean, safe, and very nice front desk worker. I wish I knew his name, but he always had a smile on his face and was very helpful and attentive to everyone. This was perfectly located right off I95. I felt safe as a female traveling with my two kids since the hubby couldn't come. Very pleased with this hotel!

Hotel appears newly remodeled. Very clean. Front desk and breakfast staff were exceptional - great smiles, everything ready and still asked if I had everything I needed. Several restaurants are near by if needed.

Everything was as it should be. Room looked and smelled clean, and was in good working order. Check in was fast and breakfast was hot and ready in the morning. Went with the wife on a quick overnight stay on way up to Charleston and was not disappointed.

We stay frequently in pet-friendly hotels (often Best Western). We understand the challenges of finding a good one and don't have unrealistic expectations. We reserved a pet-friendly room for two nights at the Richmond Hill BW based on the positive reviews by others. Unfortunately, our experience was not a positive one. When we arrived with our small dog at 5PM on the first evening, the room appeared clean but the stuffiness and odor were overwhelming. We reported it to the front desk and they responded by spraying the room with the most sickening and pungent spray floral deodorizer ever. We were told that housekeeping would work on it the following day. No offer to transfer to another room was made, but we decided to stick it out. We left the room for the full day with our dog at 10 AM the following morning and left the "please make up the room" sign of the door. When we returned at 9 PM, the room was completely ignored - no cleaning, beds unmade, no new linens and, of course, no efforts to alleviate the odors. It did appear that housekeeping had been in the room at some point during the day since the air conditioner temperature had been raised and our belongings shifted around. The room was warm, stuffy and smelly. We reported to the front desk and were told housekeeping had left for the day and nothing could be done. After we requested it, we were finally handed a set of new linens and told that they would "leave a note" for the morning front desk staff. That, of course, made us feel much better. In fairness, through all of this, the hotel staff was friendly and polite, but completely oblivious to our concerns. They just seemed helpless or unwilling to resolve a problem. We also witnessed it with another guest with a different issue. BW really needs to do some customer service training to the employees at this hotel. As others have reported, this hotel does have some good points (hence the reason for two stars instead of one): Convenient to highway and several restaurants Pleasant exterior appearance Pleasant lobby Public spaces appear clean Nice dog relief area Good breakfast We make the I-95 trip a few times per year to visit friends, but will definitely not stay here again. It also makes me hesitant to stay at any BW in the future. There are better choices.

The hotel was clean with a friendly staff. It's in a great location near places to eat, gas stations and freeway. I really liked that it had complimentary hot breakfast which consisted of pancakes, eggs, sausage, and biscuits w/gravy. I would definitely stay here again.

Waited 20 minutes to check in only to get to the room and find out it had not been cleaned when the last guest checked out. Towels on floor, dirty toilet, full trash, dirty sheets, the whole thing. We went to the front desk and the representative was surprised but nice. He called the manager who told him to give us the last room available. We arrived at the new room only to find it smelled of sweat, was dirty, and we found an old grape on the bathroom floor when we stepped on it. Then, at 3:00 am the smoke alarm started chirping and we had to call the desk again. A nice lady came right away to fix it but come on!! Finally, the next afternoon, I received a call from the hotel and I thought, "Oh, they are going to make it right" Nope! They wanted my credit card because they said Expedia "under charged" us. I told her there was no way I was giving my card and I explained the entire experience. She said the manager would call me but never did. We booked at the last minute and paid $196 to Expedia for a $45 truck stop at best. Then, I looked at my credit card and saw an additional $23 charge directly from the hotel. Whatever you do, stay far away from this hotel!

Everything was very clean in the room and very comfortable. Excellent service from the staff as well. We enjoyed the breakfast that was included. We will definitely be returning the next time we pass through this area.

After our last stay this past winter we searched for a different hotel, no luck so we gave them one more chance. Check-in staff 100% better than lazy person last stay. Very clean room and pet was welcome for only $20. Dog walk area outside and very clean. We will return.

We travel Florida/NY twice per year and always stay at this hotel. It is clean, comfortable & conveniently located off the highway. There is a generous area to walk dogs and there are plentiful nearby dining options. Staff is courteous and welcoming.

First room toilet did to work. Desk clerk to welcoming, only robotically functional. First room toilet did to work. Second room had sunflower seed shells on the floor and in the phone cradle. (People usually spit these out after chewing on them). Phone to desk or manager did not work. Manager on duty was nice and helpful but, not sorry. Will never never stay in a "Best" Western again.

The rooms are nice. They already offer a breakfast experience with Covid still around. Masks are worn. There is a bit of shaking due to trains running close by. That was unique. But a great place right off the I-95 ramp.

Arrived after a Long day of driving and went up to room to finally relax and key did not work, went back downstairs to get it Re keyed, came back up and it didn't work again, clerk came up and tried and it did not work again, went back downstairs to get another key for a different room and FINALLY was able to get in to relax after 20+ minutes. Was very aggravated at this point in time and ended up not sleeping well that night.

I don't live far from this place but I got 2 nights so I could get some D without my husband finding out. Husband lasted one night before he joined me and D I definitely recommend ;) I definitely recommend ;)

Hotel was clean. Room was clean and very comfortable. I have trouble sleeping in hotels, but had no trouble here. Hot tub was excellent. I've never experienced a salt water pool or hot tub before, but I loved them! Definitely will stay again!

This has always been the most consistent and reliable hotel for traveling from Florida up the east coast. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel is consistently clean, and comfortable.

Rooms as pictured in literature, clean room and public areas. Pool was very heavy chlorine smell and I think that means it's degraded(?) , not a good thing with Covid. But all in all fine with two major flaws. Our queen bed mattress was either well past the “ use by” date or actually broken. One person would roll into the center when the second person got into bed so I had to hover on the outer most edge all night with hard wires sticking into me. Any “pillow top” was long gone plus scratchy sheets so probably the most uncomfortable hotel bed I've had in a decade. Would have asked for another room but didn't want to get dressed and move everything by that time. Second thing is more of a warning. The bathroom had a toddler sized toilet. It seemed shorter than even a standard height toilet. If you have any difficulties at all with arthritic knees or hips ask for a handicapped accessible room or you may be stuck on it for the duration.

I stayed in double queen room with my husband and our small dog. Standard room, nothing special about it. Breakfast had hot and cold choices and was well attended byvstaff- very clean and neat. Hotel is very clean. Room was very clean and fresh smelling. I'd stay again and reccomend.

Hotel is clean, Friendly staff, good location, indoor pool and fitness center. Don't plan to have breakfast. Luckily their were restaurants close. Their are other nice hotels in the area and closer to 95. The hotel is set back off the highway, so no traffic noise.

This is a good stop in a convenient location. Room was clean, tv and internet worked perfectly. A little noisy on the back side with coyotes and trains, but not during the night so much. Breakfast was Covid friendly.

Baited with a low online price then overcharged upon checkout. Reported this fraud to the credit card company. Do not believe anything they say at the front desk about everything on the bill being fixed upon checkout. If you stay here check your charge when you checkout! Pathetic breakfast. Pancake machine broken.

Very impressed with the hotel and the room. Super clean and when we checked in desk clerk was professional, friendly & wore a mask. Room was large, well appointed and very comfortable. Good place for our dog. Every guest we saw that night adhered to their guidelines. Breakfast choices very good as was coffee available all ay. Covid safety not so much in the morning. Sign limiting breakfast area to 5 was not done. Two men came in without masks and wouldn't put one one. Desk clerk wasn't even wearing a mask. This is not the time to let down your guard. Disappointing.

Was a very nice place right off I - 95 very clean and after 9pm was very quite to get to sleep. I did leave early to get on the road so I missed the breakfast and just had the lobby Coffee. That was very good.

I reserved the room ahead of time and was told a rate, minus taxes. This rate included the upcharge for a pet. When I checked in, I was told that the pet fee was not included in the reservation rate. When I showed my reservation rate to the front desk clerk, they told me that they would look into it. They even tried to find the recorded reservation call. Basically, they implied that I was being dishonest and charged me twice for the pet fee.

A nice clean pet friendly hotel , nice comfortable rooms, friendly staff easy access on and off I 95. Good breakfast buffet, good restaurants close by. Rooms are clean and comfortable, very comfortable beds.

My company was doing a job in Richmond Hills Ga and we needed to stay over one night. A month before we came I reserved 15 rooms and was quoted $65.00 per room. I confirmed that each time I called hoping to reach the manager in hopes of a better rate for so many rooms. Each time I called the manger was either out to lunch or it was her day off and they would have her call me. Never received a return call from any of my 4 to 6 calls. My foreman checks in to receive keys for the 15 rooms plus 3 more, 18 total and is told the charge is $110 plus tax per room. He complains a bit and they lower the price to $89 plus tax per night. When I check on how the job is going he tells me the charge thinking he got a good deal getting the price lowered! I said that's BS! I was quoted $65 and was told it was in the computer with are reservation! These guys are not on the up and up! I'd be very careful about what they tell you over the phone and what they do once your there and at there mercy! Classic Marcite Orlando Florida

It would be crucial for the housekeeping staff to keep rooms exceptionally clean during these times, yet this wasn't the case. I understand that pet-friendly rooms can be a little more time-consuming, but you actually need to vacuum the room, at least as it looked like mine hadn't been. I found dog food from the previous guest, a dead worm, and what looked like a beatle/roach in my room. The front desk women didn't seem to care, and I quote, "I don't work housekeeping." Wow, no, I'm sorry. I will say she offered to move me, but I was traveling with family, and it was late already; we were tired, and I wasn't going to pack up everything. I'm a hotel manager, and this isn't acceptable.

I was greeted by Alan at the front desk, who made me feel welcome and safe. Breakfast hostess was great too!! I observed the staff all following strict COVID guidelines. I would definitely stay here again!!

The hotel room was clean, and if it weren't for their poor handling of COVID precautions I would give them a good review. I did not feel comfortable in their lobby. The front desk employee was working without a mask. They did not enforce masking at all, and every time I walked through the lobby people were hanging around without masks. Their continental breakfast is a buffet and although they do have a sign stating everyone must take their food to go, there were about 20 people eating their breakfast at the counter in that room. I would not stay here again during COVID.

My family and I were traveling from Tennessee to Miami and stop in GA to sleep a few hours. We got at the hotel at 4:00 AM and asked the FD agent if she can give us a late check out at 12:00 PM, she said they were very slow so it would not be an inconvenience. She was very nice and friendly. Housekeeping know a our door at 9:00 AM asking if we will check out... my parter woke up and told them we will check out at 12:00 PM, at 10 AM they knock at the door again, we explained we will check out at 12:00 PM at 11:00 AM another employee , this time a guy knock at our door, we explained ( one more time) we will check out at 12:00 PM, at 11:15 a Front desk employee without face mask and extremely rude knock at our door again asking who gave us the late check out. At this point we just went downstairs and leave the room. We stopped only to sleep a few hours, get a shower and keep driving, we asked for a late check out and they said it would not be a problem and a few hours later they knocked at our door more than 6 times. We traveled with our service dog, who was present and notified at our check in. When we were waiting for the elevator another employee, I think she was the housekeeper (without face mask again) stared asking why we have a dog and if the front desk know about it... no good morning, not hello ...the way all employees approach the guests in this hotel is so rude. Our room was dirty, the bathtub full of hairs and clogged, not social distance or face masks use, lack of customer service from employees... really BAD Best Western.

The rooms have roaches, and the staff (including the manager) are rude. I caught one roach crawling on my baby bottle, I bought the bottle to the manager and she pretended like she didn't know what the bug was than offered another room, that wasn't clean. She never apologized for the roach found, never apologized for the “new” dirty room she offered. The staff is never at the desk so if you need assistance you have to ring their bell and wait for them. This was a horrible expensive and services are not up to par with Best Western Standards. If you're looking for a bug free clean hotel this one is not it please keep looking, just trying to save you the disappointment.

Great visit! Very clean, wonderful pet area and team members were very helpul.. We were able to quickly add a 3rd room for my brother and nephew whe n they surprised us anh arrived the day of our arrival. Will look for Best Western Plus for all future travel.

We stopped here for a night on the drive from NY to FL and it was perfect for that purpose. Quick check-in, clean room, good rest and we were out. No frills and nothing noteworthy to report. We didn't use any amenities or dine there but we were perfectly happy with our room as a functional place to stop and rest mid-trip. Would stop here again!

We are members of HIlton Honors and IHG, so we usually stay at Hampton or Holiday Inn hotels. This trip, we were looking at the reviews, and this Best Western Plus had higher ratings than the Hampton and Holiday Inn, in this area. We booked through Best Western and the price was 20 dollars less than through Booking, Expedia etc. This Best Western Plus sold us on the brand. We will definitely be looking for the Best Western Plus property in the future. The property was comparable to the more expensive Hampton and Holiday Inn. Very nice staff and super clean rooms and lobby.

Very nice Hotel. Clean, nice amenities, pet friendly, and great service. Not serving breakfast at this time (covid) but have the grab and go option. We have stayed here 3 times in the last 4 weeks, we recommend and will stay here again.

We were nervous about staying in a hotel in the middle of a pandemic, but we had an event to attend in the area that we could not miss. After booking I called to ask a few questions and the staff was very accommodating. Each staff member that we encountered after we arrived was very friendly and helpful. In particular, we came in later one evening and the coffee dispensers in the lobby were empty. I asked a staff member named Bobbie Jo if more coffee would be available and she immediately made a fresh pot. The rooms were very clean. I'm a bit of a neat freak and always bring antibacterial wipes when I stay at hotels, regardless of the current situation. We didn't feel worried about the room and were satisfied with the care taken to keep things looking great. Even though there was no buffet type breakfast served, we were grateful for the Grab and Go bags each morning as a safe alternative. Our room was next to a cute, small game room that held a foosball table and dart board. It was a great addition for our son to use. The other thing I noticed, with it being a pet friendly hotel, there were several dogs staying with their owners while we stayed. We love pets, but didn't bring ours. There were never any odors or barking, and we'd feel comfortable bringing our pets in the future.

Stopped here for 1 night. We needed a Pet Friendly Hotel and after reading reviews this fit our needs. Hotel and room were clean including the carpet (which is unusual in a hotel). Nice dog area out back, fitness room got the job done. Had a small pool and hot tub but didnt use. All in all a great hotel and stay. Only complaint is when I checked in didnt get the advertised BW member rate and had to go make reservation on the Hotel website to get this rate ?

We stayed in a king bed room for one night. The hotel was easy to find & in a quiet location off of the main road. The room was large & very comfortable. The added touches were great, like the table/end table & the bed tray were both awesome for eating in the room. The towels were probably the best hotel towels I have ever had (very large & soft). The bed was okay, you could feel a ripple effect of each persons move & the pillows were somewhat small, but plentiful (there were four or five). I gave 4 put of 5 because of the check in & breakfast. Check in was polite, but pretty sterile. The breakfast was nothing but sugar. I anticipated the bagged breakfast from previous reviews & was good with a bagel & power bar. I got a honey bun, granola bar, apple & water. Besides the water it was just sugar & to be honest the coffee was not very good. I would however not hesitate to stay again just because of the cleanliness & price.

I will be switching hotel to Best Western great hotel. Was staying in residence inn and Fairfield inn and they are going down hill, if Best Western allows dogs I will be using them all the time. During this pandemic, they had carafes of coffee and real cream in the lobby, and when we were checking out, they had to go bags, with a bagel, cream cheese, an orange, and a protein bar. Clean, friendly staff, good location. Felt comfortable with their handling of the pandemic guidelines. The bagged lunch contained a nice variety of food. Glad they didn't eliminate it entirely. We were initially leary of staying at a hotel but it was a good experience.

We were concerned about staying in a motel during the virus surge. My wife chose this Bestwestern based on the previous favorable reviews. We were not disappointed. The hotel was spotless and staff friendly. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. They removed the comforters, and only had a white bed covering which was washed and sanitized with the rest of the bedding after each use. There was coffee and a to go breakfast. Excellent choice and would recommend for other travelers.

The location is perfect, plenty of gas and restaurants The driveway is hard to see as trees and bushes hide the entrance signs. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Due to the covid 19 virus there was no breakfast except for a to go bag. I can understand this but I cannot understand why everyone that I had contact with during check in did not wear gloves or face masks to protect their guests. For this reason alone I can not rate this property better

Stopped here on our way north from Florida - very convenient off I95 . Check-in was fast and the desk clerk was very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a king and thee was a nice chair & ottoman, desk, refrigerator and microwave. They had the old style in room coffee pot but provided adequate coffee and tea. There were plenty of decent towels. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were okay - sort of like the "my pillow" with chunks of filling. There was some road noise but that's the price you pay for being close to the interstate highway.

By far, one of the best rooms I have experienced. It was very clean, nice appointments and very quiet. The location was convenient to restaurants, service stations and access to the interstate. The staff were pleasant and accommodating.

We travel each year from Panama City Beach to Garden City SC. Richmond Hill is a good midway point so we planned on staying the night there. We don't reserve ahead and rely on iExit coupons when looking for a spot for the night. This year we arrived inRichmond Hill around 4:00 pm and attempted to register using a coupon which had a rate of 69.95 single plus $10 for the extra person and $20 for weekend. We were told that they didn't honour those coupons!!! Why publish them??? There were rooms available and we asked for a rate using AAA. The quote was $179 plus taxes. A long way from the iExit rate they advertise. Found another local hotel used a coupon and enjoyed the night. We are Best Western members but won't be back to this one!!!

The staff is friendly and helpful. Pet guidelines are easy to understand and the walking area is nice and open with lights. The hotel is located near restaurants and gas stations. Just off I-95. The rooms and bathroom are spacious. Our room was spotless.

Excellent venue and staff. Great sleeping and breakfast. Would stay again. Was welcomed appropriately, and the cookies and nachos were a very tasty evening treat. Great location with easy access to I95. Stopped on my way to Florida. Will be back again.

Clean and friendly staff with a small social event in the evening and full breakfast that is actually good. Only drawback if your a smoker is that they only have one smoking room. You have to go outside.

Love this hotel! Easy to get to, staff very pleasant, and the room was great. Having access to the room close to the exit for our dog was wonderful. Have stayed here before and try to make sure we stay at this hotel each and every time we travel this area.

We drive from Georgia to Florida several times a year. We've tried lots of hotels in Brunswick and Savannah to break up our trip. This was the first time we stayed in Richmond Hill at the Best Western. It won't be our last!! The hotel is either new or recently remodeled because everything looks fresh and clean. The room was equipped with everything you need for a stay. There are lots of restaurants close by. I've already booked our next stay!!

This beautiful Best Western hotel is right off Route 95 near Savanna Georgia. We actually found it while traveling back to Maryland from Miami. The staff is super friendly and the lobby and room were very well maintained and very clean. Great find!!

Our family of 6 (4 children 6 and under), had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was clean and well-stocked, the front desk staff was prompt and very friendly, and the food at breakfast was delicious, with many nutritious options. The cup of coffee I had tasted coffee-shop delicious ;). The highlight of our stay was the cheerful demeanor of the breakfast room staff, which rubbed off on the demeanors of the hotel patrons as well :). All of them were kind and friendly, but we'd like to give a special acknowledgement to Ms.Rhonda, who went above and beyond to greet everyone with a huge smile and constantly see how she could serve us. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.

Everything was very nice! Breakfast was very good and as a personal touch the lady working there came and asked what she could get us and if everything was ok! Very nice!! Room was very clean and maintained well! Quick check in and out!

Great place for the money. Not sure what more you would want. Definitely quality place along I-95 and we have visited many that were not. Absolutely recommend for a very nice break along the interstate to R&R. We will be back.

Good value, clean and fairly quiet. Set back from the road, so very little traffic noise. Easy on and off Rt 95 in an area withsny hotels and gas stations. There are few sit down dinner places. Try Molly McPherson's Irish Pub for dinner and drinks, bartenders are fun and efficient!

This other was so clean, the room very cosy. Staff members were so nice to me and my dog. Their is a big area where puppy could play and run with other dogs while I could relax on the patio. I do recommend this place!

The back side of the hotel backs up to a very busy train track. I met a couple in the elevator that told me about their last stay and how they were up all night. I called the desk and asked how often they came by. The desk staff assured me they weren't frequent. Well, that was a lie. If the desk staff had just been honest, we could have changed rooms and I wouldn't have been up all night. There was at least 1 train per hour and sometimes several. If you are a light sleeper be sure to ask for a room on the front of the hotel.

Always enjoy finding a Best Western to stay at when we travel. The decor in the hotels and rooms is very tasteful and relaxing. I would stay at this Best Western again if I was traveling through the area.

The hotel is clean, lobby, grounds and rooms. All dog friendly rooms are on the 2nd floor, and the pet fee is reasonable. The towels are getting thin. They've obviously been washed many times. The bed is comfortable. We had to change rooms. The first room had a loud hum coming through from outside. Plus the toilet ran, and the phone did not work. The second room was better, but the walls are a little thin. We could hear the dogs barking in the next room.

Easy on off I 95 We got litterally the last room, as there was a huge line up on 95 the whole day and people were booking a different place than planned. We were in the handicap access room. I must say it was well appointed for those with wheelchair or mobility restraints. Beds were comfortable. It was quiet as we were not on the highway side, but, we were on the railroad side.... pet friendly for those looking for this aspect Reception was a bit serious as they at first did not find my reservation, but finally they did... phew! Breakfast was very good, as was their coffee.. Recommend that hotel in that town.

Clean hotel! Great breakfast and great customer service. We were traveling with our family and had to switch our room around due to a booking error on our part, and Kenny was super helpful and took great care of us! The lady in the breakfast area kept checking on us and bringing us anything we needed for our kids. Thanks for a great experience!

Great room, really good breakfast, courteous and friendly staff.We slept well. Was so good to get a call from Kenny at the desk in the morning telling me he had my wallet that was left there when i checked in the night before. Rooms were clean. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend if you need a place that is pet friendly. Breakfast was alright, it is comparable to other hotels but had pancakes instead of waffles.

Great stay - wonderful room, very comfortable bed, good shower pressure, complete hot breakfast with good coffee, and terrific staff. And it's dog-friendly, if you're traveling with your pet. We weren't but it was fun to see other guests with their dogs. Every staff member that we encountered, from housekeeping to breakfast room to front desk, was friendly, helpful, cheerful, and happy - nothing better than to spend time around employees who seem to be genuinly happy. We will be making several trips to Richmond Hill during the next few months while our new home is being built and will definitely return to this hotel.

We booked this hotel for only one reason; it advertised an indoor pool/hot tub and sauna. The pool was ice cold and the sauna broken! When I complained they refused to make amends. Classic bait and switch! Avoid!

Stopover the night before Thanksgiving on the way to Florida. Having had a horrendous experience at a $149/night Rodeway Inn recently, we were not holding out much hope at $87/night. But we were wowed by the cleanliness, spacious room and bathroom, modern facilities, kindness of staff and comfort of bedding. This is a better hotel than anywhere else I've ever stayed for less than $150/night. Highly recommend.

Spent 2 distinct night coming and going back. Both rooms were exactly the same in condition and comfort. I will certainly look for other Best Western places as I travel if they are convenient for my stay.

Friendli staff, clean rooms, good breakfast choice We stay at this hotel every time we travel through Georgia and is one of the best hotels for the price. My husband and I highly recommend it. Their are restaurants close by so you don't have to travel far to eat.

Once again, on our commute back and forth between Vermont and South Florida, we need a place where we can stay with our 2 cats. After a terrible experience at the hotel next door (their pet fee was more than the room fee - outrageous!), we came here, and I was so pleasantly surprised. It was clean, quiet, spacious room, fridge and microwave, I was a little anxious because I don't have a lot of experience with Best Western but I will totally stay here again and I'm writing this review to help others and to remember where I stayed so I can come back!

Friendly staff, decent breakfast, clean room. Roomy bathroom. Prina at breakfast was super nice. We were able to book the room easily through Hotwire. Through we arrived late at night, someone was at the desk ready to help us out.

Very nice and clean. Staff very cordial and pleasant. I've been staying here for many years each November for a family outdoor vacation. Ive never had any issues with parking truck and small trailer. Well lit and monitored parking area. Jacuzzi is very relaxing after long day of walking and hunting.

They matched the best online price I found. We stayed on 3rd floor where there are no dogs, on the very quiet back of the hotel that overlooks only trees. Pets are on 2nd floor. Staff is fantastic & friendly, esp Deja. Room was extremely clean & comfortable, beds were very good. Appreciated the hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, fruit, & friendly faces at breakfast. Definitely would stay again. There was a live roach in the bathroom, about which I told the front desk, but as the room & hotel were so immaculate I have no doubt they promptly took care of any issue.

I had a voucher for a free night, the hotel screwed up honoring it. Still have not received proper refund. Staff does not have proper training, eating area not sanitary. Does not represent the Best Western Brand.

A nice pet friendly hotel, service was good, rooms and free breakfast were average. A good place to stay if you ate traveling through. A lot of good restaurants close by, the entrance is kind of hidden and hard to see.

The hotel itself was great...clean, everything was fine. The front desk clerk when we checked out was not helpful and refused to help solve an issue with a gift card. Our stay ended on a negative note because of her. I would stay there again...just hope not on her shift.

My husband and I stay when we are in town to visit family. We only stay here at Best Western. It is less than 5 miles to our daughters home. We like to have the accommodations at BW so we can steal away with our grandchildren for a swim in the pool to give their parents a quick break...

Lots of choices in the area but chose this for the pool and wasn't disappointed. Clean, comfortable room. Breakfast was hot and lots of choices including, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, sausage gravy, pancaked and typical cold items such as cereal, yogurt and sweets. Microwave and frif in the room, plus coffee maker. I didnt have any tea on the room but it was available downstairs. Overall a good nights sleep.

Our room was very clean and up to date with all the necessities like a hair dryer and iron. The front desk staff and breakfast server were all pleasant and helpful. The Fuji restaurant was recommended when we asked about the best restaurants nearby. It, too, proved to be a pleasant place with tasty and authentic Japanese food.

We enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Hotel clean, rooms spacious. Hotel was a little hard to find because it is set back from the road a bit ... behind Arbys if that helps future guests.

We always stay here as it is about half way back to Richmond VA. Easy to get to and located near I-95. Restaurants nearby and of course Savannah is about 15 minutes so it is a win win for us. We will be back again...

Everything functioned well, room clean, exterior well maintained. Minor problem with room at rear of building is the sound of trains at night. It did not keep us awake as sometimes noisy trucks or hallways.

Pleasantly surprised by cleanliness and quality of furnishings. Staff were very friendly, greeting us at every opportuity, Desk staff very polite and efficient. Overall a very good experience. Will stay here again at our next time in area. Much better than experience we had off I-95 in Savannah last year.

Nice place to spend the night when you're on a road trip. Easy check in, clean rooms and close to several restaurants. We travel back and forth from Florida to North Carolina about three times a year and plan on staying at Richmond Hill BW either going or coming.

Excellent! Room clean, roomie, plenty of amenities. Hotel sits back off the main road - nice and quiet. Service provided excellent. Hotel included a clean indoor pool, indoor jacuzzi and fitness center.

This hotel is conveniently located near I-95. We had a pleasant stay here. Quick and efficient check in and found all the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was large with a large bathroom, plenty of hot water for showers and large fluffy towels. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we slept very well. Everything was very clean. Even though we were close to the elevator and across from the ice and vending machines we were not bothered by any noise. The breakfast was very good with hot and cold choices and good coffee. The rooms are a little outdated but all the furniture was in good condition and the hotel is undergoing renovations so the rooms should be updated soon.

We needed to stay in the area while house hunting. We are so glad we stayed at this hotel. The building looks like it is new and probably is. The staff were the best I have experienced, from the front desk, housekeeping and breakfast staff, all were very friendly making sure we had all we needed or wanted.. Our room was clean and fresh. Both my daughter and I suffer from allergies that make hotel stays a real gamble... it was a joy to breath freely here. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast staff were outstanding as well. We needed to extend our stay day by day several times and they were very accomodating. They never made me feel like I was bothering them. Truly an excellent stay. They earned an excellent review.

The room was nice, roomy, and the breakfast was very good. The location was easily accessible to I-95 and easy on and off the interchange.Be sure to check pricing and call the hotel for pricing before booking, as I booked my first night on the way to Florida online and the fees and taxes ran far more than the normal full rate room. This error was not repeated on the trip back nor the stay in Orlando as I booked online for my discounts. A discounted room price should not ever be quoted before being tabulated with added fees or added amounts to the final totals which would make the renting experience costlier than you can call the hotel for discounts. I mistakenly missed the added fees and taxes before clicking the accept the nonrefundable price, sadly.

Service was great room clean, all workers we're helpful to make you feel at home Breakfast was outstanding, and coffee all day and night. Cookies were outstanding and looked forward to them every evening

Chose this hotel due to the fantastic reviews. Not sure how they have so many. The hotel looked like they bought a motel 6 and spruced it up. The room reeked of old stale smoke. The ceiling was stained and discolored. The bed was so springy, it felt like they hadn't replaced it in 30 years. The facility overall was outdated and bland. Toilets are child sized at best. Just a really disappointing stay. Nothing horrible, nothing great. The staff was polite but more concerned with their personal chat than giving great service. They weren't rude just dismissive.

The breakfast was more than your average breakfast. It was wonderful. The beds were really comfortable. There were extra things in the rooms like a lap desk. The only complaint I could possibly have is it took the water about 15 min to heat up for my shower.

Had a great stay in 2018 and wrote a good review. Hence we were back in the district so headed straight for it again. Sorry but this hotel has "gone to the dogs" to coin a phrase. It was over run with dogs everywhere and including peeing up the furniture in the lobby. We were given a room on the ground floor. Then we had a break and coffee in the lounge and whilst doing so watched two people come in with two dogs and large dog baskets and enter the room next to ours. Then the owners went out to their vehicle and the dogs started barking and scratching the door. I complained and the owners came back in. Then we watched the owners go out in their car after asking for directions of places to eat. The dogs instantly started barking again without let up. I complained bitterly to the front desk. The room was quite near the front desk and they admitted it was loud and they could hear it quite plainly. They offered to move me. Not happy as it was not me that was causing the problem. They said the no dog rooms were all gone but I could go on the second floor. We had no choice as we were with other guests staying there and we had the vehicle so could not move out. Our room was quite clearly a dog room as it had that dog smell. Very unpleasant and was a good job we were not allergic to dogs. I have no idea what the policy is with letting out rooms to non dog owners or the policy to inform them that they are being put in dog friendly rooms but it is not acceptable to what we endured on this current stay. Location is good and breakfast is good but I am afraid my estimation of Best Westerns has just been lowered. We were so looking forward to staying at this hotel again. Rules need to checked and staff given instruction when unruly dogs are left unattended in rooms. keith C

This is my 1st day in the best worst thing hotel great clean, neat, the personal extremely friendly breakfast 5 star I love this place. Now I know what hotel to pick when I Travel. It is the best , There's always something wrong in a hotel but to me this one was Perfect. The battle was Show clearly I was surprise

Have stayed here three times over the last few months. There hasn't been one stay where there wasn't an issue. Will not waste my travel dollars when we are in there area by staying here again. This stay we had to change rooms because there seemed to be a duck in the air conditioning our near it outside the window. When we got to the second room the AC was almost non functioning. Crazy thing is is the room we stayed in our last time here and AC was messed up then. Better options in the area. Don't waste your time or money.

Just a quick overnight with the wife. Used my points. Everything was very good. Social hour could be a little better. No beer or wine. But the nachos were there and that's more than some places. Clean property. Front desk was extremely efficient and friendly. Breakfast was good. The eggs had a creamy buttery texture and the sausage links actually had a taste to them. Attendant was amazing. We - like many - gave her a tip. Only downfall here wasn't even the hotels fault. The pancake machine is really cool but the product for us was too rubbery to eat. Very convenient to several restaurants. Only issue we had was Internet was not very solid for us. Had to use our data which was fine for us but maybe not others. Property might need to test to see if it was a one off or an upgrade is in order. Right off I95. We would definitely stay again and probably will in the fall to use the grills outside on the deck.

About an hour after checking out of our room and heading north on highway 95, I realized I had left my earrings on the bathroom counter in our room. I called and the staff could not have been more helpful. The earrings were found and mailed to me in a prompt manner. I cannot thank them more for their help. It was the third time we have stayed at this pet friendly location and I will stay again soon.

When traveling Best Western Hotels are usually my first choice. They are mid priced and usually have favorable guest reviews. However, when compared to both their sister locations in which I've stayed, as well as their similarly priced competitors - The Richmond Hill Best Western Plus stand out!! It is conveniently located off I-95 just South of Savannah GA. I have found the service, cleanliness and comfort to be consistent on multiple stays in 2018 and 2019. Checking in and out is a breeze. The desk staff is friendly and courteous. The complimentary Breakfast Service is outstanding. There is a wide variety of items to choose from. On the past two visits the Breakfast Room was being attended to by a very nice young woman named Prina. She greeted each guest warmly when they entered the dining area. I observed her to frequently monitor the self service breakfast bar, giving special attention to replenishing the hot food items when the chafing dishes were getting low. And, although the breakfast bar is “self serve” Prina would stop by tables on her way to and from the kitchen and ask guests if she could be of assistance. Offering to get them refills of coffee, juice etc. While we have not taken advantage of them on our stays. There are numerous amenities available to guest- an indoor saltwater pool, 24hr exercise room and laundry facilities to mention a few.

This Best Western is quite nicely appointed located south of Savannah but is located at an exit off I-95 that is in a very quiet area without a lot of great restaurants, etc. Although it was July 4th, we did have a good dinner at a nearby Denny's. However, hotel was fairly well updated, clean & comfortable. Being Best Western Rewards members, we were upgraded to a nice king size suite, which we appreciate. Breakfast was great with a lovely hostess who couldn't do enough to please everyone; a lot of great, high quality breakfast choices. A very nice overnight stay for a reasonable price which equals a pleasant experience!

We had a great stay with our pet .. dog walking area was very clean ... great room was clean and near convenient exit for dog walking ... staff was very friendly especially Prina who did a great job keeping food available during breakfast and helped everyone .. SA JULY 5 2019

The place was nice and clean. The people were helpful and pleasant. They had cookies available in the lobby at 6 and nachos at 6:30. These 2 small things were not something I've gotten at other places before and just a nice touch. The breakfast had hot food choices that were good and a helpful attendant on duty.

This is an older and simple hotel with a great and caring staff. The outside area was clean and presentable. Check-in with Alicia was great and very accommodating. The service provided by Prina during breakfast was great as well. Small and enjoyable exercise room, pool and hot tub. We are enjoying our stay!

Overall, not a bad place to stop over for a night. Free breakfast, fitness center (tiny, but nice equipment), indoor pool and spa (spa doesn't have any jets to speak of, but the hot water felt good on sore muscles). The location is ok, felt safe enough, but not overly close to dining options if you wanted to walk. Very clean. The hotel can't help that the Georgia resort taxes are terrible!

As we were heading to Florida we stopped to rest our heads and check out downtown savanna, which was a short drive away. The hotel is fabulous. Slept great & the FREE breakfast in the morning was 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The staff was extremely friendly! Overall a huge success!

The check in was fast. Lobby floor was dirty. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. The elevator was dirty and not cleaned with in a day. The room keys worked sometimes. Room could have been cleaned more.

Very clean, comfortable beds and extremely helpful and courteous staff. Hot breakfast with plenty of choices. Great location to Savannah and Tybee Island without the high prices on the island. First time staying at a Best Western but would stay here again.

It's a very clean hotel. The location is very convenient off of I95. Breakfast was good and had a nice variety. Room was comfortable and it was very quiet. Most reasonable priced for hotels of this quality in the area.

On our way to Florida, we stopped here for the night. My family of 4 shared a room with 2 queen size beds. Check in was easy. Hotel employees were very friendly. Everything was nice and clean. We loved that check out was before noon. There was breakfast in the morning, included with the cost of room. Breakfast items were what you normally would get at other hotels, bacon, eggs, pancakes, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal, bagels, yogurt, fruit, coffee and assorted juices. We would stay here again.

Located close to the interstate, this hotel was easy to access but quiet. High-speed internet was reliable and the hotel offered an indoor pool, spa, and fitness center. The included breakfast featured a wide variety of delicious options in a clean, well-appointed dining area.

Hotel was a very good value. Staff was welcoming and helpful. The rooms and building were very clean. Well attended hotel but not noisy. Nice linens and towels. Breakfast was plentiful and area well-maintained. I would stay again and intend to do so when convenient.

My husband, our toddler, 9 month old and I recently stayed for 2 nights. The indoor pool was enjoyable; perfect for small children. The hotel was very quiet and just a short drive from local restaurants and attractions. We would stay again.

Very friendly staff, clean and easy to get to off of I-95. They do need more than one person on the desk in the evening. Natalie was slammed with people and calls but handled them all very politely. The hotel is per friendly and has a nice hot buffet for breakfast.

We have never had such a reservation encounter in our entire lives—and we are in our senior years. About three months ago, I called and made reservations at this hotel for two reasons. The first reason is that we stayed here three years ago and absolutely loved the location, the cleanliness, and the friendly, helpful clerks. We “loved” the hotel. The second reason is that this hotel is “pet friendly.” We were assigned a room directly across from the pool which caused our pup to bark excessively at each and every exit and entrance to the pool. The hotel personnel were very kind and understanding with zero complaints, and we stayed an entire week, enduring the barking and disturbed rest, as we were attending a family high school graduation. Well, it was graduation time again, and we desired to repeat our prior experience excepting being across from the pool as we wanted a more peaceful, quiet stay. I called and made the reservation including our requests and also inquiring as to when I needed to confirm our reservations and specific requests before the trip—first floor room on opposite end of the pool. I was told to call again one week before the trip. Our scheduled arrival date was Monday, May 22. I called the week before making our specific requests. I was told we would be on the opposite end of the pool near the outside exit for our dog walks on the first floor. I was assured the notations were made on our reservation. Okay: After an eight-hour drive, exhausted and longing for a comfortable king bed in “our” cool room, I went up to the reservation desk. The kind clerk informed me we were ACROSS FROM THE POOL. I immediately, quietly and kindly informed her that I called the week before and was assured we had a first-floor room on the opposite end from the pool. The kind clerk looked closely and said, “It says only a first-floor room, and the manager made this reservation.” She told me these words at least three times. I was stunned and repeated myself at least two more times that I had called, confirmed the week before, and was assured of our reservation requests. The clerk told me we could have a second-floor room opposite the pool, and we could move to the “requested” room on Tuesday morning. After a long hesitation in my tired mind, I told the clerk we “possibly” would take it, but I would have to confirm with my husband who was in our vehicle. She gave me the info, key cards to the room, and I go out with the sad face in amazement and explain the situation to my husband. He said we are too tired and too limited in health to unload our bags and load them again the next morning to move downstairs and unload once again. In addition, there was the problem of walking our large dog requiring the elevator and a definite barking problem. After a discussion, as badly as we wanted to stay at this Best Western Plus, we agreed overall the whole principle was that we were not respected and granted what had been assured to be awaiting us at the end of our long day—in addition to the great inconveniences. I returned to the desk and found the clerk with “the manager” on the phone. I told her my husband would not accept the second-floor room and we would cancel our stay there. She told me she would reverse the charges immediately and send e-mail confirmation—which she did. Being tired and exhausted, my eyes filled with tears—as I felt stranded being in the large area of Savannah, GA on the week of Memorial Day without a reservation knowing we had to find another pet friendly motel. The clerk apologized kindly and profusely. It goes without saying we are highly disappointed—and rating the hotel for its facilities, etc., is impossible—being I will never again use this hotel. I also will be reporting and sending a copy of this review to Best Western headquarters. For integrity purposes, I give this manager who spoke with me and assured me of our reservations a big ZERO in any and all categories for having assured me of my two basic, simple requests—a room away from the pool on the first floor. Manager, whoever you are, I am a person who holds my anger and frustration quietly in public, but I am addressing you in this media forum for the ruined vacation week you caused my dear husband and myself. Your clerk is fantastic—but you are a ZERO. Our trip to which we had been planning and looking forward to was ruined because of this manager's actions. In a state of exhaustion finding a nearby motel left us in a location with traffic all night at an outside entrance triggering our dog's protective mode—barking. Exhaustion followed us the four days we stayed instead of our planned seven in the Savannah area. Total ZERO ☹

Service was excellent, staff is very accommodating, very clean, very quiet. The beds were comfortable ,but as always, not as comfortable as mine. The location was great for us. We were visiting our granddaughter and her twin girls. Cooler would have been nice (105) Monday, as I understand it this is not normal weather for the area at this time of year. About an hour drive from Jekyll Island. Could not have had a better breakfast, the oatmeal and honey was excellent.

A fantastic place to stay, and agree with other previous reviews. Easy to get to, the room was spacious and very clean, and the bed was one of he most comfortable I have ever slept on. Breakfast was above and beyond other's at motels I have stayed at. Great choice, all hot, and also very clean. The high speed internet was also first rate, and able to stream movies without any problem. Will definitely stay here again!

My wife and I have stayed at a number of “budget friendly” hotels over the years and this one is by far the best one for the price. Service was great, staff was excellent, food was delicious. Would definitely recommend!

Though we only stayed in Richmond Hill (south of Savannah) one night, we enjoyed it thoroughly and it made for a great last night after our trip north. We arrived in mid-afternoon, so had time to enjoy the pool and hot tub indoors. A great magazine Concierge in our room led us to a wonderful restaurant, Fish Tales, at a marina during sunset. We could have been in New England or Key West....it was a lovely place with great service and good food.

Always a great place, clean, quite and an excellent breakfast. Nice pool and outside area for walking your dog. Check-in was fast and easy. Fast check-out. Breakfast offered a great selection of items.

First,we paid over $150 with a discount on 4/20/2019 about $50 more than the room was worth. The grout was dirty,there were missing lightbulbs, the refrigerator was not very cold ,there were bugs on the ceiling and the mattresses were lumpy. My husband left a damp towel on the bathroom floor,I picked it up and a black bug came scurrying out.Yuk. Our room was in the back overlooking a bucolic setting but beyond the trees _about 200 ft- train tracks . A freight train thundered by at least 10 X in our 12 hr.stay at least half of those times were between 10 pm and 5 am. The only bright spot: The woman who attended the breakfast bar.She was personable and upbeat and kept everything clean and stocked. Never again.

We stayed here unplanned and thought loved it. The kids enjoyed the pool, there was restaurants close by, and they provided a social hour with snacks and drinks. Staff was great, hotel was clean and we enjoyed our unplanned stay.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Location is Interstate easy on/off. All of the usual amenities -- wi-fi, breakfast, etc -- were efficiently delivered. Check-in and check-out was fast and efficient. Cost was reasonable. Can't think of anything more to expect from a road-trip motel.

This was a clean and comfortable hotel in a safe location for our stop on the way south. Good breakfast, clean rooms, updated decor, comfortable beds, and quiet rooms. Will stay again in the future. It allows pets with a fee and offers police or military discount prices. It's not the least expensive place but if you're looking for a nicer place at a decent price this is a good place to stay.

After checking out and given a receipt with a $0 balance, noticed credit card charge of $152 from hotel the day before even though it was paid in full with travel site. Called hotel and was informed that it was for “damaged towels”, understand that yes we have dyed hair that bleeds slightly and has always washed out without any issue (slight bleeding is normal with do it yourself dye, since that is our budget. Shampoo interacts with the dye and pulls it off of hair, so slightly bleeding. Since shampoo is able to strip off color, detergent can wash it out of towel.) Called hotel and questioned charge, however none of the staff could find where it was even charged. As they too saw it was no additional charges, so asked for a manager. Initially refused to further speak on issue and just stated damaged towels, $152 worth of towels for 2 people?? Asked to speak with manager and was constantly directed to reservation line, every attempt calling hotel resulted in transfer to reservations. When directly requesting a manager, was always told none available. Finally had contact with the GM (Alicia) and she very rudely said that due to towel damage, card is charged. Asked how did you know of towel damage prior to checkout since the room was not cleaned throughout stay? Asked for proof of damage and nothing, especially since credit card is showing charge prior to check out yet check out receipt has no balance. Asked why charged on credit card before checking out yet receipt given stated no balance upon leaving? Asked what exactly is damaged? As was there an attempt to wash and it wouldn't come out? Ok maybe could understand the charge, however most important issue was charge occurred BEFORE we left hotel and room had never been cleaned so they had no knowledge of “damaged towels” until after checking out. Not one employee can find the charge in the computer system, on the GM (Alicia) has knowledge of the charge and refuses to state anything more than damaged towels. Thanks to constant dodging when called, I vow to never stay at any Best Western (also will make sure my friends and family are aware of this behavior from BW) as this is absolutely insane and very unprofessional to avoid customers and make charges without proof. Informed Alicia that reviews will be posted on every site possible and it didn't seem to bother her in the slightest ... so thank you GM Alicia for letting me know exactly how you run your hotel, how you are willing to avoid and disrespect your customers and I will be sure to never step foot on any BW ever again.

I was recently traveling with my boyfriend for a spring break trip. The first night was fine, and when he and I returned back from a day in Savannah we realized the room hadn't been cleaned. We figured it could have been a fluke occurrence, but we stayed there six nights and the only days our room was cleaned was the day we checked in and the day we checked out. I, on multiple occasions, had to go to the front desk and ask for more towels and additionally I asked the front desk manager to leave a note to make sure our room was cleaned the next day, but to no avail. The towels that we had sat in the bathroom for days. I was highly disappointed. I have stayed with Best Western before and had great service but the service in this particular hotel was more than unsatisfactory. In addition, once my boyfriend and I had checked out, he received a charge on his credit card for over $100 that was never put in the receipt. On our drive home, he repeatedly called the hotel to ask about the charge but the manager continued to avoid his calls until we finally found out after about 6 or 7 back and forth phone calls that he was being charged for damages to the room and then it took another 2-3 call to figure out what the damages were. It turns out that we were being charged for damages to towels. I color my hair and know it occasionally will bleed, however, just washing the towels and using bleach will get any color out as it is only semi-permanent. However, the hotel had stated that they could not get the stains out at all and also they had disposed of the towels and charged the card without putting it anywhere in writing. I can't imagine I'm the only one who colors their hair and visits that hotel. I would recommend anyone who colors their hair and is prone to bleeding either bringing enough towels to be okay with not having your room tidied for a few days or to do your best not to shower.

What a great place that has been renovated. There are still more updates down the road but this is a real surprise. The staff are awesome, the morning breakfast is really great and the place is clean and nice. Cookies are served nightly at 6 pm and nachos are served nightly at 6:30 pm. Hot coffee and tea is available 24/7. There is a small indoor pool and hot tub that is nice and a fitness center. Both need updating and that will occur later on. The lobby area is small but really nice and cozy. Everyone we encountered were very polite and helpful. Many guests had their dogs with them and there was lots of room to walk their pets. The only complaint we had was the people who smoke close to the entrance. There are other places to smoke but people will smoke where they can get away with it.

The staff was the most helpful and pleasant. I asked for a good restaurant that was close and he gave us directions to a delicious meal. The breakfast staff was friendly and helpful.. Easily accessible from the Interstate. Very comfortable bed and room was clean and quiet.

Main reason we decided to stay here was because it is a Pet Friendly hotel and right off the interstate. This hotel is a nicely updated hotel with a well prepared breakfast bar! All the staff was professional and very helpful about making our stay pleasant. We highly recommend this hotel!

Passing through the area. Found this hotel very affordable. Bed was comfortable. Could have used a larger breakfast area. People were eating in the lobby or standing around eating their breakfast. Desk clerk was very helpful giving directions to local restaurant. Would stay here again

Great location, close to highway. Staff was very friendly. Large area to walk dogs. Good breakfast selection. Fridge and freezer to keep perishables cold and to refreeze ice packs. A different Best Westrrn we stayed in had a fridge only.

This Best Western was conveniently located right off I95. THE room was clean and very comfortable. Everyone was very helpful. We did go down and use the hot tub. Everything was nice and the breakfast was good.

I'm not crazy about this outdated hotel. The front desk was not super helpful. The room was old and needed to be updated. I am not a big fan of the Best Western brand so the hotel was consistent with this level of hotel. Guests were nice midwestern retirees mixed in with a few truckers.

Pros: Decent location , easy access to hi way and away from downtown Breakfast was suitable for this level of hotel Cons: Was undergoing renovations which was not noted at time of booking. The refreshment area was closed several nights while we are there without notification to guests. One day room not serviced at all, another day no clean towels or shampoos replaced. Smoking is allowed in this hotel. This was a major turn off as the smoking room was two doors away. Worst aspect of stay was noise from the BBQ area. Parties most nights we were there. Suggest to not get a room above the BBQ area.

We stopped for the night in Richmond Hill on our way to Savannah.What a pleasure it was to stay at the Best Western Plus there. The hotel is conveniently close to the highway, but without the noise and congestion ou might expect. The hotel is well cared for, clean and quiet. Be sure to visit the La Nopalera restaurant if you enjoy Mexican food.

Nice hotel. The lemon water, cookies and nachos were a very nice touch. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was nice. Hotel is up to date and well kept. When we booked, it was to come with a 10 dollar per day voucher for shuttle service. No one could help us with this.Turns out this has been discontinued, but is still on hotels. com website. We could have booked the hotel for a cheaper rate on another site, but chose hotels.com because of the voucher. This was disappointing.

Just let me say first that the hotel was clean. Maryland was the best thing about the hotel. She prepared our breakfast with a smile and made my morning delightful. The website said there was a cocktail bar, no there was not. The website said that the in door pool was open until midnight, no it was not. Those 2 things were the first two things I had on my list for the reason we stayed. Very disappointing. The staff at check in not informative at all. The hotel was clean and Maryland was awesome!

Loved it! Great price and services. Great staff. The general printer was down so the front desk clerk took the time to look up my air reservations and personally print out my boarding passes. A secret for fussy travelers: the third floor is ALWAYS pet and smoke free! A very nice breakfast buffet and ROOM SERVICE! Not fancy, but very comfortable.

the room was suppose to be non smoking but it definitely had been smoked in but the manager quickly moved us to a better room and he apologized profusely breakfast was especially good and the nachos bar could have been better

As far as a roadside hotel to stop during our annual drive from PA to the sunshine state of Florida each January, this hotel proved to be an excellent choice for a friendly, clean, convenient off I-95, affordable location. Currently undergoing some remodeling, but I must say this is one of the cleanest and best organized renovations I've ever seen. The entire area inside and out was orderly where you could hardly notice the work going on behind the scenes. The staff from the from the front desk to every employee we met along the way, especially Prina, the morning breakfast hostess, exuded that lovely Southern charm and friendliness. The included breakfast buffet was adequate, filling, and well proudly supplied and attended to by Prina. Our King-sized bed room was clean, spacious snd very comfortable for our one-night stay. With many choices of hotels off I-95 near Savannah this Best Western Plus proved for us to be a fine and satisfactory choice. We will stop here again!

Nice hotel, lovely room, but sloppy housekeeping. The towels had not been replaced (there were plenty of clean ones) and the bathroom trash not emptied. The A/C unit in the room eventually worked, but only after the front desk guy checked it, told me it was working (it was not), then came back, and he and I fiddled with it. BUT the room itself was clean and pleasant. The bed was very comfy. There was bacon for breakfast, always a plus. The hotel staff seemed to genuinely care about my experience.

While the property is undergoing a renovation, it did not affect our stay. Everything was quite satisfactory, the room was very clean and neat. Comfy bed. Very standard breakfast, quite satisfactory. Train tracks behind the hotel, but we could hardly hear the train. Enjoyed it much!

The price was right as I needed somewhere to keep some family for thanksgiving. The accommodations were nicer than expected and newly renovated. I would recommend this hotel to other people and I imagine I'll use this place again.

I appreciate the appliances, great when you are traveling with food. The breakfast exceeded expectations. Our room was clean and comfortable. We will always stay here on our trips South.The location is close to I95 and there are many options for a quick meal.

I told the front desk I have tax exemption when checking in. The next day the lady at the front desk said they did not receive tax exempt information and would charge us tax on the room and the pet fee. The lady was very rude and unhelpful and did not try to fix the problem they created. I will never stay in BW ever again

They'll take up to six animals (we had three) at $20 per. Staff is very cordial, and the premises are excellent. Fitness Center, indoor pool. large clean rooms, comfortable beds. Very convenient just off I-95 with many facilities in the area. We were enroute from FL to VA and this was a half-way stop. Will stay there again on next trip.

This place is very close to lots of food options and is a great place of of 95 to stay for the night. The breakfast was top notch and they had a pancake machine to make fresh pancakes for you. I had two issues during my stay, the people above me were stomping around a lot and it was easily heard in my room. Also, the room could have been a little cleaner. We found some candy wrappers on the floor and the toilet needed to be cleaned.

This was an easy on off I 95 but one of the pricier hotels in the area. I booked two queens but requested a pet free room. We were given a king. After a long day of travel we didn't request a change. There was a gob of hair in the bathtub. Otherwise the room was clean. Breakfast was average. The coffee was not hot.

This is a must stay if your in the area. Room was large, clean and very comfortable. No road noise and very little air conditioning noise. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and very courteous. Free breakfast was a plus. This place is on our come back list.

Stayed here for one night before departing the next morning for a 5 day boating trip. We found the Best Western to be clean and quiet. The check in was easy but I believe the clerk was new to his job as he needed help with completing the check-in. No big deal. The location is great as it is not too far off of I-95 and convenient to restaurants and shops. The clerk made recommendations regarding some shopping I needed to do. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot, and the breakfast was more than adequate to get our day started. The lady that was serving the breakfast area was friendly and helpful and made you feel like family. She is a gem! Can recommend without hesitation and would certainly stay there again.

Not a bad motel...clean, quiet. But no character...cheap furniture, square? Underfilled pillows (like giant marshmallows). Coffee maker...but located on top of tall cabinet,difficult to reach. Very good free WiFi. Typical unremarkable breakfast bar. Friendly desk clerk. But OK for a night on the road. Some fast food joints within 4-5 block walk. Just an average, low budget place to stay.

We used to love this place. Used to. The woman at the desk was rude and at 4pm she said there were no double rooms left at the coupon advertised price of $67.99. Instead we were charged $90.99, $109.64 total!!!! Too late I found we could have stayed at the Hampton Inn for the same price. Most other hotels that have cookies don't guard them like this woman did. You couldn't get them on arriving, the cookies came at 6pm so us tired folk did not get a treat. When they finally arrived the curt and nasty woman guarded them like Fort Knox. Not Southern Hospitality. As far as the "Nachos and cheese party" in the breakfast room, the lights were off until 6:30, then, still dark, the "party food" was tucked away in the back corner which was not inviting at all. Okay didn't look great anyway. Problems: the room entry light was broken. The clock did not light up at night. The room had an awful smell. Breakfast: many offerings but scrambled eggs and bacon were not great quality. Coffee is basically brown water. I will say there was a very lovely woman, Rhonda working the dining area, the only good thing about our stay. BTW Rooms 307 & 308 are next to a noisy soda machine.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We would stay here again. The staff was very helpful in suggesting a place to eat and things to do. The Local 17 is right down the street and is a very good place to eat. The owner is very friendly and the food is great. Go earlier because it gets crowded.

i almost always stay at this particular hotel while I'm in Richmond Hill Georgia. The location is great-right near 17 & 95 but also very quiet as it's set back off the main road. Rhonda,the breakfast attendant has to be the most pleasant person I've ever met.

We choose this hotel as it accepts pets and is nearby to Rt 95. I'd bypass this hotel again if you want to sleep. The room walls are paper thin and you can hear everything outdoors and indoors. Many other options to choose from so won't stay hear again. Also staff was not very friendly or helpful.

Hotel is in a near excellent location, nicely maintained. Rooms are almost always in great shape with few issues if any. I'd recommend the King Suites when you can afford to spend a little more, but generally all the rooms are good choices.

Checking in was very easy and I was early. The room was clean and the beds were comfy! We were invited to come to the lobby between 6:30 and 7:30 pm for free snacks. Ours was nachos and fresh baked cookies, which were amazing by the way. They have an indoor pool.The people were very nice and helpful. I was very happy with my experience here and I would stay here again.

Hotel was clean. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Had no problems checking in with our dog. Pet fee of $20 was reasonable. However no place to eat around hotel that allowed pets. We walked to fast food place and brought food back to room.

It all started because we arrived a short time before check in time, I had called the day before and was told it wouldn't be a problem if we arrived around 2. However I willas rudely told, I'm sure you know check in is at 3 your early, you can have a seat and wait your room is not ready yet. My thoughts are, Ok you know this how? You never asked my name or even looked at your computer. I'm only 45 minutes early and you have no clean rooms yet. When she finally decided to check us in I explained to her that we had two separate reservations one for that night and one for the next. Her answer was, we'll you'll have to check out and check back in tomorrow morning but I can't promise the same room or that your room will be available for you to check right back in. Seriously, I had called ahead and checked on that also because our plans had changed and we could leave early for our trip. Needless to say when the next shift came on I went and spoke to her and she fixed it so we would keep our room. The next evening we went downstairs for social hour which includes nachos and beverages. A few other couples also where waiting. Should have known when I saw it was the same lady from our check in working that there would be a problem. She decided to totally ignore the fact that we where all there and never bothered to put out the nachos or beverages and hid in the office. This one lady put the worst taste in my mouth for this entire hotel. I would highly suggest they consider getting rid of her. She is definitely not customer friendly. Thanks to her I will not be staying at this hotel again and will be contacting BW Nationwide about the Plus status. Something seriously needs to be done.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay especially after the fact the reviews are overall quite good. The biggest problem I had was with customer service. The room A/C was having troubles and squirting out water and producing a musty mildew smell and things like that happen so I came down to the front desk asking for a new room and they told me there was no rooms available she showed zero concern or anything about what was going on in the room so I end up having to sleep with out any air conditioning and having a cough. The next morning I went to speak to a manager about it and when I was telling the front desk clerk before she got the manager she seems surprised about there was no rooms their excuse why I didn't get a new room was there was no more king rooms but they had plenty of double queen rooms. My question is why was I not even offered one of those rooms? Again no real apology from the manager however they did expedite the cleaning another king room so I could move into it and that room was decent.

Had stayed here before, a few years ago. Was pleased then so decided to stay again. Had arrived early so waited in the lobby for our room. Right next to me was a cup of coffee filled with mold. That was the start. At first glance things looked clean but after looking further it was just the surface. Thick dust in several areas. No towels in pool area had to go ask. This hotel not has not been kept up.

There are only a few places to stay and I decided to stay here. It was older looking but super clean and it was nice. The bed was amazingly comfortable... the housekeepers were perfect... never bothered me and gave me what I needed. Everything worked... but a little issue with the internet... but then perfect... front desk was nice...

Convenient to the I-95 with plenty of restaurants to choose from. We visited here twice and ate both times at Molly McQuires Irish Pub just down the road. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast in the morning to start your day. I would not hesitate to stay again or to recommend.

Carol from the front desk came to our rescue late at night when a outdoor insect wandered into our room even though she herself is not a great fan of outdoor pests.Thank you so much to her and the maintenance gentleman who took great care to make sure we ladies did not have to deal with anymore! Thank you also to the super nice cleaning teams that keeps our room absolutely spotless and well supplied with all kinds of extra goodies.

We stayed one night on our trip Florida from North Carolina. The hotel is conveniently located off I-95 and easy to find. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was well stocked. Staff was also friendly. It's a great place to stay for the price and quality of the hotel. My only complaint is the beds could have been a little softer, but that's my personal preference.

I made a room reservation via cell phone a couple hours prior to arrival. My 1st try was met with an error message that my reservation did not go through (bookiing.com) I tried again only directly through the hotel. My reservation went through. An hour later my email showed TWO room reservation confirmations. I contacted booking.com to cancel one reservation but they could not do it. Upon our arrival to the hotel at 5:30 pm, a young girl at the front desk said the manager left for the weekend...that he was the only one that could cancel a room reservation. Obviously, I did not need 2 rooms and all this hotel wanted was for me to pay twice. We were willing to stay if one of the room reservations was cancelled. My husband and I walked out. I immediately disputed both room reservation charges to my credit card company. A lesson learned how inflexible this hotel truly is...grab the credit card first before ditching the customer. We will never stay at a Best Western again.

Rooms are very nice and refreshing, no odors. Staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was very very nice, good selection and staff very attentive when items started running low. Close to 95 and some nice places to eat within a mile.

Very good for stopover. Super friendly staff, even at Breakfast area. Very Clean. One of the best Best Western I have been. Clean pool and spa Area. Good Food around. I complain Dennys. Will come back again.

Worst hotel ever for customer service. I booked a standard room for my family of 4, hotel put me in a 1 bedroom room. They had 2 bed rooms available but wanted to charge me an extra $25 per night to switch. I have never had this problem with holiday inn express or baymont by Wyndham. I spent an hour with customer service only to be told they couldn't do anything. Carol at the front counter was rude. The couch bed is in front of the air conditioning and when we called the front desk to get it opened, carol told us it can't be opened in a king size room. They also told us they don't have adjoining rooms, they do. Do not waste your time or money with this hotel chain. No one was willing to help. Customer service said they would have someone call me, nothing as of 5 hours later.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS BEST WESTERN... or any Best Western, for that matter. This is the worst Best Western hotel we've been to. It shouldn't even be called a BW Plus. Please view attached pictures. The King room is small. The owner makes housekeeping cut off the AC after they clean the room so all the rooms are hot when you check in and with 98 degree weather, it took almost 2 hours to cool down the room so we could unload our car. The walls, especially the bathroom, are in horrible shape. The pool says MINERAL SALT pool and whirlpool but it is very heavily chlorinated. It's so bad, your eyes burn after being in the room for about five minutes. The evening snacks that were advertised weren't served and we dread going to breakfast. The in-room hairdryer wasn't in the room and housekeeping said they had told the owner that several of them are missing but he won't replace them. She also told me that the owner made them start turning off the ACs because he had a high power bill. That's the cost of doing business. I've never had a hot hotel room to check in to. The front desk and housekeeping don't care about guests and appear not to like their jobs or the owner. I called Best Western to complain and they said Booking.com is responsible. Since when is a booking agent responsible for the hotel's conditions??? This will be our last stay at a Best Western hotel and the last time we use Booking.com if they don't resolve the issues. They charged us $145 per night with two dogs and all the other pet-friendly hotels in the Savannah area are fully booked. We have no choice but to stay here for three nights and try to get a partial refund.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff is friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, the room was nicely appointed and everything was very clean. The breakfast was good. We will definitely stay here the next time we are driving through this area, and I would recommend this hotel.

Place was comfortable, clean and generally very nice. We liked it a lot. The area is nice, great food that is located really close. You can walk to get something to eat and make it back to your room within a couple minutes.

Stayed because this hotel was rated #1 on Tripadvisor. Just passing through and needed a quick and clean overnight stop. Booked last minute from hotels.com and got the promo rate. Although rate was good, room 211 was a disappointment. Upon entering the room, I noticed the familiar musty smell and the room temp control down to 66. 'No Biggie', I thought - we can just deal with it for one night. If it were earlier in the evening, I would have otherwise requested a different room but I suspected they would all be at the same level of service. Now, I'm picky about in-wall air conditioners since my husband and I are allergy sufferers. Mold and mildew are the culprits for us and this room had them both. Aside from the dirty a/c system, there were hairs on the bathroom floor and just a general feeling of 'bleh' about this place. Pillows were too small and lumpy. Toilet seat wouldn't stay up. We left before breakfast, so I can't comment on that. In general, do yourself a favor and stay someplace else. We won''t be returning.

Stopped here on the way from VA to FL. Very easy on/off access from 95 and the room was very clean. The staff was exceptional and I plan on staying here again whenever we travel this direction. I have paid more for less. This one was great!

We booked through price line where they pick the hotel for a certain price - we asked for a min of a 4 star hotel that can accommodate 4 adults in a room and we got the Best Western Plus - however when we called them to confirm there were 2 beds and a pull out we were advise no and price line would not refund us all they kept saying was we only guarantee the room for 2 adults (there was nothing that said that) and I said we put 4 adults and the website did not decline it and they just kept saying we only guarantee 2 adults in a room. I said it was false advertising and again back to we only guarantee...We were disgusted I asked for a supervisor and they refused to transfer and I ended the call and emailed them regarding the situation and never heard back. We stayed at the Best Western Plus anyway the room was small and yes I had to get a roll away that Yes I had to pay an additional $15 for - so the price totaled what the Hampton Inn would of cost. I know this is not the hotels fault in anyway but they also need to know price line did not advertise properly. Which the hotel was aware about we explained to them and we were told to speak to price line which we agreed on. Overall the hotel was clean and fine for a nights stay it was just an inconvenience.

Overall we were very happy with our recent stay in Richmond hill. The staff were very helpful. Our room was very comfortable. The internet was a high speed. Breakfast was very nice. Bacon, eggs potatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt waffles and more.

This hotel, as it always has been is excellent. Very clean room,friendly staff,nice breakfast,quiet. I used the fitness room and the pool this time and I was extremely satisfied . Wi-Fi was touch and go at times,but I don't think it was any fault of this hotel.

A comfortable, clean hotel off the interstate. The area around felt safe and clean and there were several fast food restaurants within easy walking distance. The staff was efficient and friendly. The room was large and in good physical condition (no stain or tears, chips, etc.) Bathroom was large and very clean. WiFi was fast. There was no sound intrusion from neighboring rooms or the hallway. Breakfast was superb with numerous hot choices - pancakes, eggs, sausage plus the normal cold options - yogurt, bagels, danish, etc. A fantastic night's sleep and I would recommend to anyone. A nice stay at a fair price.

Great Hotel, very nice and clean. Quite place. The snacks placed in the room were expensive $4. We didn't have any. The breakfast was nothing to be desired. Definitely needs work plus no orange juice, the coffee ok.

Good location for where I needed to be for this week of business and easy to access from the interstate and very quiet. Fairly new and in good shape. Clean rooms and a great choice of breakfast items on their breakfast buffet

We stayed overnight because to break up our trip to Florida, and figured we could tour Savannah a little before we hit the road. The Hotel was priced a little lower than the average for the area. The room was clean, the beds, comfortable and the continental breakfast the next morning was adequate and inoffensive. It's easy to find off of I95 and about 20 minutes from Savannah downtown. They offer a shuttle to the bus tour if you need- we didn't. There is a pool and exercise facility- we didn't use it, the pool was VERY Chlorinated. Overall, If I needed to, I'd stay again.

If you are driving on Interstate 95 in Georgia this is a good place to stop for convenience. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was included and better than average. There is excellent food nearby at Molly's Tavern. You must take the trolley ride into Historic Savannah.You will love it

The hotel was conveniently located and the room was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The server in the breakfast buffet was extremely friendly and helpful. The small snack at night in the buffet area was a bonus.

Photos include view from room, mold/mildew on air conditioner unit and trash left by bed. Otherwise room was clean. Bathroom had 2 large hairs (pubic) on floor. Staff was nice and helpful. Stayed on second floor right outside elevator.

Terrible service from management. There were hairs in the bed and on the towels in the bathroom. There was garbage underneath the bed, two different roaches were sighted in the lobby area. Lastly, both of the high chairs in the breakfast area had broken straps. How can a hotel not follow up on this ? I mentioned this to the front desk and was told I would get a call from the Assistant General Manager and when I didn't receive a call, I was told that when I called back that the Assistant General Manager went and checked the room and didn't see a lot of trash under the bed??? Well excuse me? Sorry my standards are better than yours... as for the high chair, that's a safety hazard to children, and you and your brand can be held libel for that. The mgmt obviously needs work. The same trash that was overloading the outside trash cans at 2am were still nasty and overloaded at 930am. That's not a visually appealing look. Who's in charge? Go with Hilton or Marriott, where managers call the guests if they have issues...

Great location. Staff was very friendly, didn't take long to check in. Room was nice, bed were very comfortable. Breakfast was great, lots of selection. Would stay here again. Kitchen lady was great to talk to, very helpful

This was a great place to stop on the road after a long day of driving. Friendly staff and clean and comfortable room. The free cookies at check-in are a nice touch. The breakfast was good, but the dining area was crowded.

We booked this hotel through a third party site. The hotel listed as amenities, choice of room type, that the hotel was a non-smoking property. After booking and paying for the room, I called the front desk to ensure we could get two beds. Carol, the front desk clerk assured us that the hotel was a non-smoking hotel and that the only rooms left were with two beds. She then asked the name on my reservation. At that point, she informed me that the room selected for us was a smoking room with one bed. I chuckled, restating to Carol that she herself, as well as Priceline's advertisement both listed the property as non-smoking. She said it would not be a problem, although she isn't supposed to, she would upgrade my room for $20. I told her no thank you. Upon check in, I visited the room, located on the second floor, a floor that had the dank musty smell of the smoking hotel this place truly is. The best part is that they charge a higher rate for a smoking room, unless you don't want one. It's as old a game as three card monte. I paid the $20 extortion fee. I will not stay again in a Best Western Plus after that experience. Priceline was of no help whatsoever, saying the hotel refused to change or refund the charge. The hotel claimed that Priceline booked a smoking room. The hotel's stats, just to prove their commitment to extortion, the hotel had 60 rooms, 4 of which are designated smoking. They had 17 rooms available at midnight when I checked in. This was a clear revenue grab. So much for southern hospitality. My credit card promptly refunded the $20 charge upon proof of the false advertisement. Just a sad example of the scummy privately owned hotels lack of service. Next stop, booking a hotel through Trivago, hopefully with a customer Service team that can make a difference. For reference, this is my first ever compliant in hundreds of hotel stays.

Perfect. Nothing fancy. But friendly, quiet, clean, good breakfast and cheap while waiting on our flight. Great place. 1.5 mile from terminal. Plenty of eats nearby, some you can walk too. Very limited shuttle.

My wife, two kids, and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of June and loved it. The staff was very friendly and was even able to accommodate us with a room on the 1st floor because of my daughters issues with elevators. Their rooms were clean and the breakfast was excellent. Kat was the employee in the kitchen who made the biggest impression on me and my family with her friendly personality. The only slight issue we had was that the refrigerator in the room froze our drinks. I mentioned this to the front desk on our 3rd day (my wife and I both looked for the controls to lower it and didn't see one) but no one adjusted it by the time we checked-out. Also, housekeeping did a great job straightening the room after the first night but kept doing less and less the longer we were there. They would replace towels but didn't always make the beds. Overall, those are small issues compared to the overall great stay we had while visiting family who lives locally.

I stayed here from 6/14/18 until today 6/17/18. Never stayed a Best Western before, will not be staying at one again! I booked this hotel /because/ of the great reviews compared to everywhere else in the area. Still a little confused about that rating, honestly. The area this hotel is in itself looks a little run down-- not a great view, if that matters to you. Also, there is a median strip in the middle of the road, which leads to you having to do a lot of u-turns JUST to get to the location. Construction of another hotel nearby as well. When we first checked in, the person that greeted us barely even looked at us and recited lines at us like she couldn't care less about it. Told us the wifi password was on our card, but didn't tell us how to sign in (hint: ask her for the username and password instead of pressing the get free account button-- you won't be locked out for an ENTIRE NIGHT). Went upstairs and entered our room. Beds aren't really that soft and are a little on the small side for Queens, which is what we ordered. Pillows are small, too. Rooms are very humid unless you're constantly using the fan/air conditioner, which is really noisy. Right away, I noticed that our bathroom door didn't lock, despite having a lock. The bathroom fan hardly works, so you're steaming up the area quickly and there was mold near the top of the shower. Do not use their soap/shampoo/conditioner-- it will dry you out! Their shower water is also really awful-- it made my hair feel so tough, almost like I was bleaching it! Not many channel options and the HBO comes in fuzzy. Have to ask about everything, tbh, which is inconvenient. Everything was overpriced! There's a resort fee to begin with, despite their amenities being lackluster. Their free breakfast was absolutely awful. Their omelets tasted like literal plastic. The only good thing about it was the person serving the buffet and the coffee, which was always fresh, morning to night. We ate breakfast that first morning and didn't go back yesterday or this morning. They have "convenience" items in the room-- which were a whopping $4-6 per item! Advertises 24 hour icecream in the lobby, but neglects to the tell the prices for that-- also $4-6 dollars for a BAR or a pint. (You're better off just going to the store.) The drink machines were also conveniently broken on my floor AND in the lobby area, but at least the ice machine worked on my floor. Laundry is $2 per machine, coins only. Their bedside candy is some tootsie rolls. Definitely missing amenities from what the website lists. (No starbucks bar, no cocktail lounge, no foosball, etc.) The pool is very tiny. Only goes to about 5ft. 2in in depth, and is circular. There's a 20 person max, but I doubt anyone would even be able to move if 20 people were actually in the pool. They have a hot tub, but I skipped it as it started to storm outside and the lights flickered when lightning struck. (Windows also leaked onto the air conditioning when it stormed-- thought that was really unsafe.) The pool room is chilly, but the pool water is very warm. I could also smell the pool from my room on the third floor. Also used the gym, but some of the machines are outdated (and made a LOT of noise when using them) and the room is so hot, it's hard to breathe. Make sure the light isn't on automatic or it'll cut off mid-exercise. The ONLY upside to this hotel was the cleanliness of the rooms. The maids did an excellent job at cleaning and not even disturbing anything we'd had in there. Besides the mold in the bathroom (and some leftover hair in our towels) everything was spotless. It's a pet friendly hotel, but I think they keep the rooms separate. Did not smell like smoke, thankfully. It's about 30 minutes from most places. Also was not told about how our room keys would deactivate if put near a credit/debit card or cell phone, which was apparently what happened when we were locked out the second day around. Inconveniently, when our arms were full of our dinner. Funny, as we put one of the cards by our phone later and didn't seem to have an issue. For this price, I feel like you could do a lot better. I've personally stayed at a lot better for this price and left satisfied. Definitely not the case here.

Stayed at this BWPlus and found it to be of the highest quality for cleanliness and friendliness. It is a little far out from Savannah but they lay a bus collection pick up and trolley tour. The bus pick up is free if you go on the trolley tour. The young lady looking after the reception (Caitlin) was remarkable to look after all the guests and phones as she was on her own. She deserves a medal for her calmness and handling off two lots of people booking in and two different phones being answered. My tip to BW management is to hold on to this valuable asset you have. Rooms great clean and fully loaded. TV remotes in new bags and a good hot breakfast. Hot drinks in reception 24/7 Keith C

We stayed at this motel on May 31, 2018. We arrived about 5:30 and were told there were only 4 rooms left. Our room had two queen beds and was listed on the Best Western website for $87 a night. We were charged $110 plus twenty dollars tax totaling $130. The motel was nice but nothing special and certainly not worth the money. While checking out I complained about the price and the clerk said the general manager would get back to me when she came in later that day. I never heard from them. Disappointing.

Great Space to unwind! As we came in for our daughter's college graduation; the biggest worry was the drive (around 40+ minutes to Savannah Historic district). This was an asset as it allowed relaxing and plan out our next day. Housekeeping ( Pravin, thank you), kitchen staff, cleaning ambiance, landscape were all great. We don't like to stay in touristy places as it feels rushed, rude and unfriendly. If you don't mind the drive, you'll enjoy this place. Just a recommendation: graveyard shift please continue the daytime courtesy rule of greeting your guests as they come in. This makes all the difference in the world.

Stayed at best western plus a few times in the past year, however found this last visit this month to be disappointing. We arrived around 4pm after a long drive and on check in, found the front desk clerk (I believe her name was Mallory) to be most unfriendly. She barely looked at me, recited the rules and regs like a robot, and made me feel like I was bothering her by checking in. Our room was 211 on the second floor, a non smoking room, but with a cigarette burn on the window sheer. The bathroom shower curtain was moldy, and there was pieces of long hair on the floor in front of the sink and tub. The motel is showing signs of age (chipped paint, splitting grout etc) which I have no problem with, however reasonably pleasant staff and a clean room are a must. On a better note, the day time desk clerk Caitlin was wonderful, the bed was comfy, there was a great variety of tasty breakfast items available, and our puppy loved the dog bones she got !

We love to stay at this Best Western since it is always clean and they allow dogs. This time was special because I drove from Florida to South Carolina to pick up a new Ski Boat. I knew the resort had one spot along side the hotel to park a boat. The hotel has a very safe parking lot. Hint: Ask them for the local pizza place that delivers and you won't be disappointed.

Let me start by saying my husband and I just adopted a puppy from a shelter so we are new to looking for pet friendly hotels and we are a little choosy already so we thought we would have to sacrifice our comfort for our new addition to our family. However, when we checked in at this particular best western which is pet friendly we found the hotel was very clean, smelled good (very important to me),the room was clean and very nice, the staff was very accommodating and they had a designated pet area in the back if the hotel. We did have a small problem but it was addressed instantly and professionally. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I will definitely make this one of our stops on our trips back and forth from Ohio to Florida. Thank you Nat for your kind hospitality and professionalism you showed towards our family. ??

Fairly clean but felt old and in need of updating. Day staff great. Evening person not very friendly- maybe a bad day. Breakfast was a good selection. Very convenient location when traveling. Hopefully updating is on their schedule soon.

Loved the salt and mineral pool and hot tub! We cannot wait to return. Also a close proximity to Historic Savannah, Georgia. Very clean, comfortable rooms, close to I-95 freeway. We felt renewed and great.

The staff was friendly, and our room was clean. Housekeeping were super wonderful. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, although our eyes burned. We arrived at 6:30 to find the nacho bar had about 1/2 a bag of chips, mostly crumbs. They never refilled it. The breakfast was the worst ever. Coffee was chalky and food items tasteless and luke warm. The texture was also off, possibly previously frozen. Although the hotel itself was dated, it was clean. We would not return because the food was so terrible.

Late arrival at 2:00 am. Had earlier booked the last available room. Had to take a smoking room but it was surprisingly fresh and clean. Staff was great!!! Would definitely recommend and stay again. Good location. Thanks BW staff!

We visited Savannah and stay here in the evening. We were headed to Florida the next day and the hotel was located close to the highway. So convenient! The hotel is located about 20 minutes from Savannah. There were several stores and restaurants close by. The hotel was newer and beautiful. Everything was very nice. Our room and bathroom were very nice size. When we checked in we were told that there would be cookies for the guests at 6 p.m. They were delicious! Breakfast was very good! It was better than most breakfasts. I would stay here again!

Staff were excellent, room was nice - comfortable bed, roomy, quiet - although one could hear floor noise from folks above us typical for most hotels, fast Wifi, nice shower, laundry was available and worked well, decent choices for breakfast (not great, but not bad either) and in general well maintained facility. Would easily stay here again.

My expectations were high because this was a Best Western. Plus. It does not deserve the plus. Breakfast food was not good. Amenities were lacking and staff were not friendly. I would probably not say here again.

Stayed here on a visit to Savannah. Price was more reasonable then hotels in the city. Very clean room comfy bed and decent sized shower was nice for a two night stay. Did not eat breakfast at the hotel but it smelled wonderful. Our room was next to the elevator never heard anything from that. There is obviously a large railroad behind the hotel as I heard several during the night (no horns though). It wasn't long lasting so really no complaints.

For some unknown reason we tried to get a room at this place. We were off the road at around three thirty so expected there wouldn't be any problem having an coupon from the travel book honoured. But NO LUCK again. The girl at reception said they had booked their quota and immediately tried to sell us an available room at $100 plus if we used our AARP or AAA card. So they had rooms available!! This is the third time this has happened with this hotel. The last two years we were a bit later but still before 4:30 when we like to get off the highway and relax a bit. So we decided to head north one more exit and presented our coupon at a Country Inns and Suites. They gladly accepted our busines and the hotel is great. We won't be trying this Best Western again!!!

Needed a hotel to sleep in for about 5 hours. Found this one on the web and made the reservation. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed by this hotel. Pleasant interaction with hotel staff, comfortable and clean rooms. Very nice.

I am truly unsure how anyone could say anything positive about this establishment. I booked two rooms through the Best Western.com for 2-21-18. We were driving from PA to GA. Because I knew that we would be arriving late, I placed or attempted to call the hotel at 5 p.m.(took several calls to the hotel before connecting with an employee) to notify the hotel we were coming and to please hold our (2) king NON-SMOKING rooms. The employee (I will not say her name in this review) promised the rooms would be waiting. Well, you guessed it. We arrived slightly after 10 p.m. Went to the front desk and no one was there. I rang the bell and the girl who was standing outside smoking came in to assist. This was the same person I had spoken to at 5 p.m. (she was wearing her name tag) and it was a very unusual name. Anyway, she proceeded to tell me that they only had 1 king room and another room with 2 queen beds. This same employee lied to me and said that I must have spoken with someone else. When asked what she could do for me, she said that because I booked the room through a (third party) nothing could be done. Since when is Bestwestern.com at third party?. We were very tired, so we took the rooms. Well, let me tell you that the hotel is run down and the NON SMOKING rooms were definitely not non smoking. I had to crank the a/c and spray some Lysol to try to make air quality bearable. I was given the business card for the manager and was told she would be there at 7 a.m.; however, she was not there. Although, the person checking us out did not have a name tag and when asked when the manager would be there, she said she did not know. She was probably the manager. I think because I booked the rooms more than a month prior, they sold the other king room to someone who just happen to come in at a higher price. Shame on you Best Western Richland Hill, GA. This is my first and most likely last stay at a Best Western. Will stick with Hilton, Marriott, Holiday Inn Express.

We stayed at the Best Western because of price. What a delight! The pool and hot tub were small, but delightful. We stayed Feb.9th and were sorry to have missed the 6 p.m. cookies and the Evening food! However, the rest of our stay was great-the bed was nice and the shower hot! The location was accessible to the Hwy. The staff was friendly and caring. GS and I would come back! BS

The description I read for this hotel sounded fabulous, so we were a little disappointed. The room was nice and clean, the hotel was the newest in the area, but didn't look brand new, and the description of cookies and citrus drinks in lobby were a little overrated. If you weren't there By 6:30, there were no cookies left and the citrus drink was warm lemonade. Never saw the nachos that they offered. Breakfast was pretty good. Omelets were premade cheese omelets but tasted pretty good. We were there for only one night on our way to Florida so it was fine,

Very clean and we'll kept, a bit upscale of your basic Best Western. Enjoyed the hot tub and exercise facility. Close to highway and good restaurants. Staff were very helpful too, only blemish was at checkout where the clerk was a bit surly. Would certainly stay there again.

In town for one night room was clean and comfortable with a good working area. As I was leaving I could not find my sunglasses. The cleaning crew noticed I was looking for something and immediately came to help. I checked out deciding that I had them at the office the day before. Looked in the car, no sunglasses. As I was heading to the office to look there, the front desk called to say they had found them. I do appreciate the extra effort everyone made in finding my sunglasses. Not an expensive pair, but much needed.

Looked for a hotel that would welcome us with our 3 dogs on our way to Florida. Called and Marcella got us a great room on the first floor, easy access to plenty of room to walk the dogs. Room was clean, very comfortable. Marcella noticed that we had enough points with Best Western to get the room free, so we only had the additional pet fee. She even helped us get the best pizza delivered to our room! We will definitely stay here on future trips! djm 1/18/18

Hotel was very good with a couple of exceptions. Our (RP) stay was on 01/17-18/2018. One pet peeve of mine is that the TV in the common area was tuned to the obnoxious Fox News channel (apparently reflecting the political views of ownership). A more neutral selection would be appropriate such as the Weather Channel which is of more interest to the traveler. The breakfast was outstanding. The railroad train noise was a little distracting as was the fact that the "guide" function on the TV did not work so we had to scroll thru a large selection of channels to find the stations of interest. The hotel staff were very efficient. Given all of the above, we could stay again.

Traveling through Georgia on our way to fla for my mother's funeral stopped for the night and was pleased with the last minute find of the hotel. Next time through I will stop again. Thanks for being in the right place at the right time. Lots of food options in the area as well.

What a pleasant respite for two road weary travelers after 12 hours in horrid traffic. Lovely accommodations, pleasant decor in lobby and personable staff. Breakfast was better than average. In all likelihood will stop on our way back north.

On our way to Florida, trying to set up places halfway points on driving. Decided on Richmond Hill. We were traveling with our dog. So needed pet friendly. BW charges 20.00 which is very good for a pet. The room was large with a king size bed. Very clean , had coffee maker, fridge, microwave.It is by many restaurants,gas stations. And even a car wash which we needed badly after leaving Boston.the breakfast would have been good except for the fact that there were no eggs left no bacon, no pancakes, or coffee. The young girl at the desk I think had to handle the food part, plus the front desk so. Being January 1st and everyone checking out she apologized and told me she was on her way when something had happened. Not to worry my favorite biscuits and gravy they had, we were near elevator which was fine at night but there were early risers, who forget other people are sleeping and were talking by elevator. on the whole it was a really nice hotel, very clean, spacious room and nice staff, and nice lobby, I would definitely stay again on my way home

We were through travelers on our way to Florida and stopped here to spend the night with our small dog. This hotel is truly dog friendly. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, and breakfast was fresh and good. Good restaurants are close by.

Nice pet friendly hotel just off I 95. Make a reservation if you have a pet. Good-sized room, nice pet area out back. Breakfast was decent. Poor arrangement of guest breakfast area, people were all bottlenecked trying to get their food.

Have never had any problems or complaints even when I formally had my 2 little dogs with me. Rooms have always been neat and clean. Breakfast always more than adequate and nicely presented. Also very important,parking very easy.

One of the top three Best Western hours over ever stayed in. The only one to have snacks/appetizers for guests in the early evening. That was after cookies in the afternoon. The reception hall was most helpful in telling me about my reward points. (No one had bothered to tell me about that before!)

Hotel was very easy to find. Convenient to the interstate. Large room and excellent water pressure. There was an issue with an employee parking in the handicap space that was not addressed despite our notifying the front desk. All other staff interactions were positive.

Look no farther, a nice hotel right off the highway, clean and comfortable. It has a breakfast and the staff are friendly. The price is right. Would stay again. Very convenient for a stop on our way to Florida.

Cable tv did not work right. the rooms are very nice and clean. The breakfast is very nice. Check in and out staff could use a little more smiles. The beds are very nice. Very good hot water. Fix the tv service in the rooms.

Very impressed we gave 2 cats to take along. The hotel was very safe clean. We had to use a luggage carrier to bring items through the front door. Would rather park outside room door. But the experience was worth coming thru the front door. We would do it again. best best western we stayed in as of yet. Also we liked the guard around the bed to prevent cats from going under. Thanks the room was serendipitous !!

It was a great night and awesome to swim in the pool. Had a bad experience with one staff member but the rest took so much pride in their jobs and went above and beyond! It was a really good stay and welcoming too!

New facility with very large, comfortable room. But, they went out of their way to cut every possible corner -- surcharge for second guest (not something that one expects at Best Western), excessive charges for snack and beverage items in the room, chintzy options (very small sizes, for instance) on the breakfast items, etc.

This is the 4th time that we have stayed at this hotel on our trips to and from Florida. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and most importantly, quiet. The management is very helpful and friendly and we always enjoy a delicious meal at nearby Molly MacPhersons. After driving for many hours, these amenities are important to us. Breakfast is fine; my only suggestion would be for them to have real butter available, rather than margarine. There is enough variety to please everyone. Since we had stopped at the Visitor Center upon entering Georgia, we had a coupon which made the room rate very reasonable.

Traveling with dogs can be stressful at the wrong hotel. This hotel made the experience very pleasant. Had a ground floor room close to exit. Good area to walk in and poop bags provided. Plus the room was very nice and very clean. Breakfast was very good and overall a great experience. We had no issues and staff was friendly and efficient. Would stay there again.

Recently on our way north on I-95 while looking for a hotel for the night we went to our usual favorite, a newly-built BW at the Richmond Hill, GA -- southern suburb of Savannah exit. While the hotel was usually great, economical, and its amenities equal to other top hotels in the area like a Hilton or a Marriott, the location turned out to be sour due to a paucity of local restaurants. After riding around on a Monday night for an hour we sorrowfully settled on a sports bar that was just terrible. So next time we go though that area and again need a stopover hotel we will instead go north one more stop to Pembroke, GA instead, where we found a Cracker Barrell for breakfast the very next morning -- a Cracker Barrels all are great for breakfast! It was the location and certainly not the hotel that ruined our stopover! The usual restaurant, Love's just down the local highway towards Savannah, was closed on that Monday night, or we would have been just fine. But there were no other restaurants than fast food available that night and we hate fast food!

Well taken care hotel.. Very clean. Very close to highway. Rooms are nice. Our room had a night light and we thought it was a thoughtful addition to the room. But do not know if it a standard item or a previous guest had left it. Breakfast lacked items some days but adequate otherwise.

Nice hotel in good location. Room was very nice and clean. Staff at check in not so good. Great breakfast items with eggs sausage cereals fruit waffles juices and coffee. Would definitely stay here again.

We've stayed at this est Western Plus before and we were very pleased with the room and service. The rooms are very clean and presentable for an older property. Being an older property does not mean shabby at all. It is very well maintained. Front desk service was very good and efficient. Breakfast in the morning was MUCH LESS than we've experienced in the past. The woman handling the breakfast supplies was eating breakfast while the napkins, pancake batter, coffee, sausage, juice, etc needed refilling. When she finished HER breakfast, she could not keep up with the guest requests for items. Pet Friendly even thought we did not like the fact that some owners, well most owners had undisciplined pets (they barked too much without any corrections by the owners (NOT the fault of the hotel). We'd stay there again because it was very clean and the beds were pretty good.

The staff is rude and refuses to put out new food after about 8:20, even though breakfast ends at 9. Then they clean it up, even as guests are still serving themselves before 9 am. I also caught the staff trash talking guests right outside the elevator, then had to wait on them to finish their conversation so that I could check out. It's cheap and clean, but the service sucks.

Being snowbirds, we travel to Florida twice a year and make this hotel our stop. We called directly to the Hotel and reserved a king room. Upon entering the room, we saw it was two queens. Being of ample figures, my husband and I prefer and insist on a king for a spacious nights sleep. We called the desk and were informed there were no king rooms available. So why did they make our Reservation? As it was late in the evening and being road-weary, we decided to just stay. One of the first thing I noticed was the chlorine smell from the pool area. If one knows about pool chemistry, you know that this is a problem caused by improper maintenance- the chlorine is bound up by the stabilizer and cannot disinfect the water. So no going in that pool/spa. The bed was as hard as rock. Yes, there are trains going by. I saw a wad of toilet paper on the floor of the bathroom, along with a “hair” by the tub. The grout at the base of the tub where it meets the floor was nasty and looks like there had been an attempt to paint the grout white. The door frame was the original nasty old broken tooth yellow- they should have painted the frame white. Most of the desk personnel were friendly. This hotel has declined rapidly by the management with regard to upkeep and renovations. We will go elsewhere next trip through.

When checked in front desk staff real nice, have to ring bell to get their attention. Not a problem but really nice. The Tea Bag assortment needs updated, Bigelow Tea has sever assortments but they only had 1 choice. Breakfast staff so nice and accommodating with all you needs at breakfast.

My fiancé and I arrived on a Friday night, check in was quick without any problems. Our room on the third floor was clean,spacious and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. We had no issues with noise in the hallway etc and we're able to sleep in on Saturday without any interruptions.The hotel has a pool but we didn't have time to visit. We enjoyed our stay until we left on Monday. We would definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting the Richmond Hill / Savannah area.

I chose this motel for my family for 2 nights due to the great reviews i read. I can promise you do not go by reviews. Others who have stayed may not have the same lifestyle as you.There are 2 definitions of great and excellent one is others and one is yours. When we first pulled up to motel there are btight red lights shining on yhe walls and i thought we were in Las Vegas instead of Savannah. We went to front desk and they were very courteous and nice. Went to room and there was as a 3 inch Wood Roach in the bathroom with roach feces in the shower. I took care of that problem only because we got at motel after 10 and were exhausted from a long drive. The mattress felt like it had been there since motel opened and was worn out, motel is near train tracks and we heard the train horn all night long. Got up 5 hours later after a miserable night of sleep. Went to have what i thought wad going to be breakfast and thete was very few things to choose from. The bacon had no flavor and was paper thin, eggs which is what they were labeled were some type of yellow rubber folded in half right out of a microwave and coffee was watery. To say the least i checked out after 1 night and went accross the street to Holiday Inn Express. It was $20 more but day and night difference! This is one review you can trust.

The hotel was very convenient. I was attending a business meeting and I would use this hotel again. The hotel was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also the staff was very helpful and courteous.

All the comforts of home plus some. New, clean, comfortable, decent breakfast, free WiFi, great location. Just needed a place to stay for the night on our way home. Met all expectations & it's also very close to the Smokin' Pig!

BW has come a long way. This is the 2nd BW we have stayed in on our trip and both have been very good. This one is really upscale for your mid-range hotel. It is clean and easy to get around in. It is very well done. The bed is so you don't have to be a high jumper to get in it. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We will stay here again if we head this way. The staff are very friendly and have a good sense of humor.

We found this hotel using a coupon book we picked up at the Welcome Station and used a coupon for our stay. The hotel is new and has a great hot tub and indoor pool, it is all non-smoking, is quiet and is near the !-95 Highway. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Recently my husband and I made one of our many drives from NJ to Florida. We had never made it on the first day of driving to Georgia therefore I was not familiar with hotels just outside of Savannah. This BW Plus received very good reviews on TripAdvisor and was reasonably priced. I am now one of those reviewers letting you know the reviews were well-deserved. Immediately upon entering the lobby you will notice how "clean" it smells. I was greeted by a courteous staff member and a drink dispenser of delicious strawberry lemonade. The room I was assigned was very clean and I appreciated the tv remote being in a sanitized bag. Bed was comfortable with an abundance of pillows. The complimentary breakfast buffet was well-stocked with biscuits, gravy, cheese omelets, bacon and assorted cereals. Be aware a strict policy of breakfast closing at the posted time of 9:00 am exists. You will be happy with choosing this hotel for your stay as will your four-legged family member who is welcomed for a small fee.

We have stopped at this location many times when traveling from NC to FL because it's clean and dog friendly! Would highly recommend to anyone traveling with furry friends! We used to stop at BW Savannah/Gateway but this location is a newer facility and Richmond Hill is not as congested.

I have stayed at this Best Western on several occasions while traveling to Florida, and have always found it to be exceptionally clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and the bed sheets are of better quality than standard hotel fare. Breakfast offers a better selection than most hotels and is well maintained. This is one of my favorite hotels on I-95 because it is consistently clean and comfortable.

Not as advertised, we chose this hotel because it had a bar/lounge and said they have snacks in the lobby in the evenings. After being in the car for 10 hours we were looking for a place to have a glass of wine and relax and maybe a snack. Not here, I was told maybe you should stay at a Marriott

I am not normally a Best Western traveler but found this location when I was planning out a trip to Florida. The location feels like a more upscale hotel with excellent guest service and a full breakfast. (It was my first use of a conveyor belt-type pancake maker.) The check-in staff member was professional and the staff member who was on breakfast duty was outstanding-keeping everything stocked and interacting with guests. The hotel was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. And they will have to continue to be excellent as it appears at least two more hotels are going up in this already growing area. Very convenient to 95 and all of the typical highway services you would expect. I was inspired to book a Best Western Hotel for the next leg of the trip based on the experience here.

Traveling extensively throughout my career, and especially now in my capacity as a corporate-level manager, I experienced hotels which provide the utmost in customer service and those which do not. However, my experience with the Best Western Plus in at 4564 US Highway 17, Richmond Hill, Georgia certainly set the new low-water mark for lodging and customer care. When my wife and I decided to spend an overnight stop at this hotel while enroute to Florida, we called directly to secure a one-night reservation. We were on the phone with the hotel clerk on August 17, 2017 at 7:00pm ET and were offered a rate of $79.59 plus $16.14 tax. Upon arrival at this hotel on October 21st at 6:00pm, we checked in and were provided a swipe card and a standard door lock key and were told our room was number 299, on the second floor. We walked around the floor in search of room 299, and not finding it we returned to the check-in desk. The desk clerk accompanied us to the second floor to show us our room. The room was marked “Housekeeping”, without any room number, located right next to the hallway soda machine. This room amounted to a room originally designed for Housekeeping purposes, now repurposed as a guest room. When opening the door, we found the hotel laundry chute, and high voltage electrical panels right next to the only way out of an outer room, plus another wooden door. Using the standard door key, we finally entered our room, one equipped with two more high voltage electrical panels right at the inside wooden door, a double bed, a small desk, a refrigerator with microwave, and a television. These electrical panels, if something would short out and cause an electrical fire, would prevent us from safely escaping the room. I wonder how this was overlooked by the county zoning or licensing departments. I wonder if Best Western corporate offices know of, and would approve, this room. And this hotel room came equipped with one more thing…. Ants. Returning again to the check-in desk, I asked to speak with the manager. A woman identified herself as the Front Desk Manager and I informed her the room had ants and that I wanted another room. She checked her inventory and presented me with room keys for another room, plus a Reservation and Rate Information form listing the replacement room with a higher room rate of over $124 plus tax. I informed her that I was not going to pay an up-charge since the room we were initially given posed health concerns, which were the responsibility of the hotel to remedy. When hearing this, she then told me we could always leave her hotel. She said this immediately, without an “I'm sorry”, no “Let me see what I can do”, no explanation, just “You can leave if you don't like it”. Imagine my shock at being told I could leave if I didn't like staying in a room with ants. Imagine how I wondered why a manager would not attempt to work with a guest, a paying customer, who brings a problem to a manager. Imagine how I felt when presented with this absolute lack of concern by this manager and her unwillingness to rectify the problem. After an uncomfortable discussion with her in-front of other hotel guests, she finally provided a different Reservation and Rate form which listed the original rate offered during our telephone call of August 17th. At the beginning of this post, I said I travel extensively throughout the United States for my job, frequently requesting my corporate travel office to book me into Best Western properties. Prior to this hotel visit, I have never been told that if I did not like my accommodations because of a health concern I could leave. I have never been told I had to pay an up-charge for a replacement room because of a hotel's issue with ants. I have never been offered a stay in a room which posed safety hazards because of high-voltage electrical panels right next to the only way out of a room. I have never been shoved into what amounts to a housekeeping closet as my room. I have never before been made to feel my health, my safety, or even my patronage was so under appreciated. At other hotels I have been frequently told upon check-in or check-out, “thank you”, as the staff of other properties knows I have choices for my travel accommodations. At this hotel, I was never thanked for my business, or shown the least amount of courtesy or concern by the Front Desk Manager. I have not been contacted by the hotel's General Manager, leading me to believe my business or my concerns are not valued. My previous Best Western experiences have spanned stays throughout Europe and the United States. Because of this hotel experience, if I find myself in the Richmond Hill, Georgia area again on personal travel I will continue traveling further. I will never return to Best Western Plus in Richmond Hill, Georgia, and I suggest that readers find another hotel to use for their traveling needs.

The room is nice, but there is no leisurely seating. A chair and reading lamp would be nice. Dining room chairs? Seriously? Lights dim, nice 42" inch but without digital is looks 32".Room was dusty. Compressor makes roar on and off. Room is quiet. Beds average. The nice lobby is "tacky" with all the added "what nots" and vending machines. Breakfast limited. The owner was a real sourpuss at check out. Never said a word.

I have been staying at this hotel at least one time a year for the last 3 years and it has always been a good experience, will continue to stay there when I need a room in that area. The parking lot is well lighted and the grounds always look good, the free breakfast is a little better than average and always clean. For the price it is a good value.

Just a few miles from Savannah, this conveniently located to I-95 hotel is hard to beat. Away-from-road with every modern convenience and especially good amenities. Gas stations and restaurants in immediate vicinity. Nice-sized rooms have microwave, mini-fridge, large flat screen TV, free WiFi, individual thermostats, super comfy mattresses. Hot and cold breakfast included. Friendly staff. I reserved in advance and got a great rate too. Good for all types of travelers.

Friendly and helpful staff, rooms large and very clean, pet friendly. Great breakfast included, better than most, pre made omlets, make your own pancakes, cereal, fruit, Danish etc. Nice indoor salt water pool and exercise room. Convenient to local stores and restaurants.

This was an excellent, new property in a great location, and providing great service. We wanted to drive to the other side of Savannah, but still have proximity to conveniences, and this filled those requirements!

My boys and I stayed here waiting to move into our new home in Richmond Hill. The staff was helpful in giving directions and helping me get acquainted with the area a bit. Breakfast was always great and my boys loved the pool and hot tub at night!

Upon check-in the staff asked what floor I preferred and let me know the first floor was pet friendly in case I had allergies. I enjoyed my stay. The staff greeted me each day as I left and returned. Although I did not take part in eating breakfast, some of my colleagues did and they appreciated the variety of foods available and the quality of the food was good. I recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Richmond Hill or are travelling through. Richmond Hill has a lot to offer if you know where to look. Some great places to eat lunch and dinner...try Melody's.

Good location off I 95 but far enough away from the exit so it is quiet. Nice lobby and breakfast room. Indoor pool and exercise room. First floor pet rooms were noisy due to pets left by owners. Room is large and comfortable with a mini sofa to sit. Wifi connection is very good. Nice to have microwave and mini fridge. AC is cold so a comfortable night. Free nightly tacos social hour. 6 pm free cookies. Parking is free and safe. Breakfast is good with alot of choices. The day we were there, the pancake maker was not working. But still lots of good items to choose from. Interesting to have chai and hot chocolate from a machine.

This is an excellent hotel for the cost, and the staff was very friendly. ,The hotel was very clean, and our room was very comfortable. I would definitely stay in this hotel the next time I am in the Savannah, Richmond Hill area.

Snacks in room there is a charge if consumed .4.00 dollars ! Water 4.00 dollars . 4oz candy 2.50 . Warning stay away of snacks they are not free . What an insult to us staying there. What make this a Best Western Plus hotel ? Other Best Westerns hotel offer the same products minus the room snacks . LOL

I came to this hotel thinking it was good. The outside looks nice but the inside looks really outdated especially the hallways and the rooms themselves. Our room was terrible. The air conditioner did not work properly. There were insects on the beds. The sink did not work. The pancake maker didn't work and I called the lady three times to get it to work. The breakfast buffet was not really that good and the overall service was terrible.

. Clean, comfortable rooms, staffed by a wonderful group oaf helpful, friendly people, very convenient to I-95. Breakfast choices are amazing, plenty of grassy area for walking a dog (complete with doggy-bag dispensers!)...in short, a top-notch spot for a stay over.

There was too much fragrance in both rooms we tried for my asthmatic husband. When we asked for a new room after visiting the first room we were moved five rooms down the hall which was only slightly better. This was my worst experience with Best Western.

We were traveling from PA to Fla and after a 14 hour trip we stayed the night at this hotel. Clean, super comfortable beds, pet friendly & an amazing staff. One of the best hotels in Georgia after a long trip! Highly recommend!

We recommend this hotel but won't likely stay again, as they normally do not allow pets. The pet rule was waived for Hurricane Irma evacuees, with a $20 per pet charge. Fair enough, and we enjoyed the overnight stay. My computer would not allow me to make the online reservation, so Mellissa, employee at the hotel, made our reservation for 2 side by side rooms, as I was traveling with my elderly mother. Melissa was very helpful and kind upon our arrival. The rooms were very clean and nicely set up, thanks to Dilenia, very nice job. I checked the mattresses, and they looked very clean, protected with waterproof mattress pads. They were also comfy, with the cleanest sheets I have ever seen in a hotel. The amenities were of good quality. We ate the breakfast in the morning. It seemed of average fair for hotels in this price range. I am not much of a fan of breakfast; however, my mother really enjoyed hers. Bobbi Jo checked us out in the morning, and she was also pleasant and helpful. There was a discrepancy in our bill I noticed. When I later spoke on the phone to the manager Alicia, she was helpful and quickly noticed and corrected the error. If you are not traveling with pets, I recommend this hotel. There was also a nice indoor pool and hot tub that we did not use. The hotel is very close to I95 but the area was quiet. My only recommendation to management would be to consider wood/laminate floors on the next remodel, at least in some of the rooms. The smell of cleaning agents for carpet can aggravate those with allergies. A Venice, FL, Best Western we have stayed in had them and they were particularly nice.

The exterior of the property is well kept. Good value relative to other hotels in the area. Stayed one night while visiting family. Beds are comfortable. Would recommend to others and would stay here again.

I stopped here on my way to Florida on business, I usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express across the street but, decided to stay here his time because it was $50 cheaper. Despite the desk clerk being MIA for 15 minutes ( evidently on a smoke break), I enjoyed my stay. The rooms are large, have refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms and I found my room very clean and the bed very comfortable. Hot breakfast had everything you would need to start your day, I do wish the "Hot"items were actually hot and not just warm ( which included the coffee) but, I'm really not that picky. Overall it was a good night stay and would stay hear again especially if the Holiday Inn Express would happen to be price gouging again in the future.

Needed a room along I95 returning to Florida after hurricane Irma. This was reasonably priced and new. Clean and quiet (most important things for a hotel!). Checked in at 4:30pm and departed 12 midnight to get ahead of the crazy traffic, so didn't sample the breakfast. Some restaurants nearby...we went to Molly Meguires pub and had 4 appetizers which were pretty good.

Rest your weary head. Clean, friendly, nice breakfast, pretty pool , great room. All you need for a good nights rest. We use Best Westerns up and down I 95 and they are very consistent in their high quality.

For this price range, I would recommend any of the other hotel chains - IHG, Hilton, or Marriott. Their hot breakfast is fresher and of much better quality. The staff here was not of the caliber that you get at other hotel chains in this price range either. Other than that, everything was else comparable to other hotels in this price category. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, etc.

I stayed at this lovely hotel on my way back home after evacuation for hurricane Erma. The trip south on I 95 was very slow and nerve-wracking. This Best Western Plus was a quiet oasis in the center of turmoil. The atmosphere was calm, the décor lovely, the staff friendly, and the beds comfortable. Oh - and there were hot nachos waiting in the dining area. Doesn't get any better that that!

Great dog park, great breakfast, efficient and caring staff, very clean and well appointed rooms. Front desk clerk was very caring as we were evacuating for Hurricane Irma and once this hotel was full, she went out of her way to call other hotels for the overtired and very stressed travelers.

lobby and room more spacious than expected, room was clean, and there is ice cream. the lady at the front desk greeted me very nicely and got me into my room fairly quickly. The pool was a bit small but I did not go for a swim so that did not bother me.

Very nice motel...better than I expected. It was convenient to the event I attended & easily accessible to the interstate. The hot breakfast was fresh and very tasty. I would definitely stay here again!

there was blood on the sheets on both beds on arrival. They brought me sheets and my Husband and I changed the bedding. The weekend management could have been nicer, was not treating it like a big deal. They ended up giving us half off our stay for two nights. We were in town for a funeral in the family.

Driving from Homosassa FL to NC is exhausting at the best of times but on this day after a sleepless night, I could barely keep my eyes open. Deciding on caution I came upon the Best Western Plus and decided to sleep for a few hours before continuing my journey. It is a lovely place and I very much enjoyed my stay. Thank you

Very clean hotel, staff was great and breakfast was above normal for a free breakfast. Parking lot was full by 1000 PM but they have some space along driveway. It was convenient to I-95 will plenty of places to eat nearby. Great room for the price, I will stay here again if passing thru.
